Referred to as the “Queen of Pop” and regarded as one of the most influential figures in pop-culture, Madonna only moved up in her career throughout the years and is still the idol of many generations.
However, of all her roles she has had in her life, she seems to love that of a mother the most.
Photo: Wikimedia
Madonna has six children. While she was dating boyfriend Carlos Leon, she got pregnant with her eldest child, daughter Lourdes Leon whose resemblance to her super-star mother is uncanny. At the time the world learned their favorite artist was going to have a baby, they went crazy and everyone was eager to see the little bundle of joy.
In 2000, Madonna married director Guy Ritchie with whom she had son Rocco.
When the couple divorced, Rocco was just eight years old and was forced to live in Britain and the States. He followed his mother on her tours but complained how she didn’t have much time for him as she was busy with her professional life. Eventually, he moved to London permanently after his dad got the custody over him. Today, however, the relationship between Madonna and Rocco is better and they are close again.
Two weeks ago, she posted a photo of him for his birthday and wrote “I Love You more than you will ever know.”
During her divorce with Ritchie, Madonna visited an orphanage in Malawi where she met little David Banda whom she adopted. She also adopted another child from Malawi, her daughter Chifundo Mercy James. Both David and Chifundo are now 14 years old.
Madonna’s adoptive children are happy to have her as their mother. Although she’s known to be very strict and asks from all her children to follow certain rules, she loves them unconditionally and does all that because she wants them to turn into hard-working individuals.
Lourdes is now 23 and looks exactly like her mom. She’s multi-talented and wants to pursue a career in acting. She’s also a fashion model and loves helping her mom choose her outfit for her tours.
When he first appeared on screen in the 1960’s, actor David Birney caught the attention of a huge number of people who loved what he had to show to the world.
Born on April 23rd, 1939 in Washington, D.C, to a father who was a special agent for the FBI, David got to study at prestigious schools. After graduating from West High School, he attended Dartmouth College and majored in English Literature. While at the UCLA, talented and versatile David earned M.A. in theater arts, acting and directing.
Wikipedia
He had his first major role in the soap opera Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing in which he portrayed the character of Mark Elliot.
Besides being one of the most famous actors at the time, David nurtured his love for theater as well and was part of numerous productions. His role of a soldier killed in Vietnam in Ron Cowen’s play Summertree earned him the Theater World and Clarence Derwent award in 1968.
David was well aware of his popularity and admitted he was “also the most popular actor of daytime television.”
As he became more and more famous, magazines were interested to learn more of his private life, including his religion. When asked whether he was half Jewish, David told The New York Times, “Why does everybody want to know if I’m Jewish? David asked. “I really find it offensive, because I don’t know whether they’re asking about my religion or my background. Actually, I’m an Irish Protestant but I have no organized religious affiliation. And religion is much too serious a thing to talk about. After all, we’re all actors, and nobody asks if it’s difficult being Protestant and playing Macbeth, or being Jewish and playing Irish.”
The onscreen chemistry between David and co-star Meredith Baxter in the short-lived sitcom Bridget Loves Bernie continued in their private life.
The two fell deeply in love and tied the knot in 1974. They had three children together and in 1985, they hosted the NBC show Missing … Have You Seen This Person? which was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for an Outstanding Informational special. Their marriage ended in 1989.
A few years after they separated, Meredith came forward with allegations against her ex-husband saying he struck her in several occasions. “It was so sudden and unexpected, I couldn’t tell you which hand hit me, or even how hard,” she wrote in her memoir Untied. “I do recall thinking, ‘I’d better not get up because he’s going to hit me again.'”
David commented these allegations as “immensely sad and truly absurd,” adding, “Meredith’s own account of these years is its own rebuke to her credibility.” He told People Magazine that she was just trying to get a full custody of their children by portraying him as a bad person.
In 2009, Meredith came out as a lesbian and is now married to Nancy Locke.

Many actors could envy David on his career in both film and especially theater. Among the roles he performed on stage are Antonio Salieri in Amadeus, David in Benefactors, and Jack Tanner in Man and Superman. He has been especially fond of Shakespeare and played in almost every of his plays, including Hamlet, Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliette.
In the 1990’s, Davis directer A Christmas Pudding. The funds raised were donated to the charity People Assisting the Homeless. This wasn’t the first time, however, for the actor to be doing something for those in need. He has been a humanitarian his whole life and helped change the life of many for the better.
”It’s an activity that started as a lark and sort of turned out to be something quite substantial,” David said in 2000.
In 2017, some magazines, among which Wide Wide World newsletter for Dartmouth College class of 1961 alumni, reported that David was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, news which wasn’t confirmed by David or any of his spokespeople.
In it, classmate Arthur Bloom wrote, “I would like to thank all the members of the class who have taken the time to call David Birney. His long-time companion and caregiver, Michele Roberge, tells me that those calls are the highlight of his day. The official diagnosis is now Alzheimer’s, but it is still possible to have a conversation with David —although sometimes those conversations are a bit like doing Theatre of the Absurd without a script.”
Michele and David performed together at the 50-year reunion of Dartmouth College class of 1961.
Last year, the same newsletter said, “Arthur [Bloom, old classmate] talks to David Birney several times a week; David can ‘still get out a few simple sentences and phrases, and we have basically one or two minute conversations. He is well taken care of by his loving companion Michele Roberge and by an aide who comes in when Michele is not there.”
David has left so much to the world of film and theater. He is a truly awesome man with a heart of gold.

A versatile performer adored by millions who left the world some of the greatest hits of all time. Who else if not legendary Freddie Mercury? Not only undeniably talented, but also a pioneer and an innovated singer who marked the rock era, Freddie’s vocal tugs at the heartstrings every time we listen to him.
Freddie was born Farrokh Bulsara in Zanzibar, today Tanzania, but he and his parents fled to London in 1964, amid the bloody revolution on the islands.
Once in the UK, he got involved with music and made friends with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor and later replaced the lead singer of the group Smile. He soon renamed the group into Queen and changed his own name too. Well, the rest is history.
Although being dubbed one of the best, if not THE best, rock musicians, Freddie could pull any song the way no other singer could.
In 1988, he let his vocal speak of himself when he shared the stage with Spanish opera singer Montserrat Caballé. The two recorded the incredible song “Barcelona,” which became the theme song for the 1992 Summer Olympics held in Barcelona. Later, they recorded an albums with the same name. The song they perform in the video below, “How Can I Go On,” was part of the album.
Listen to their angelic voices. This is something you don’t get to hear every day.
“The Queen of Technicolor,” Rhonda Fleming, who stunned millions with her talent and beauty over the course of her career, passed away October 14, 2020, at the Providence Saint John’s Health Center – Santa Monica at the age of 97. The cause of death was aspiration pneumonia, as confirmed by her longtime assistant Carla Sapon.
Fleming possessed unique and captivating charm that people fell for. She was born Marilyn Louis in Los Angeles. Her father, Harold Cheverton Louis, was an insurance salesman, and her mother, Effie Graham, was a model and an actress herself, and Flaming inherited the talent and love for acting from her.
Rhonda Fleming, “Queen of Technicolor” who appeared in “Spellbound,” dies at 97 https://t.co/agY1fvaedx
What is very interesting about the actress is how she found herself in the film industry.
One day, the stunning redhead with bright green eyes was spotted by agent Henry Willson, who discovered Rock Hudson and Robert Wagner as well. She was on her way to Beverly Hills High School where she studied, when Willson stopped her and said, “You ought to be in pictures.”
Of course, young Fleming had no idea he was an agent and got scared by him. Later, she was reported to had said, “It’s so weird. He stopped me crossing the street. It kinda scared me a little bit — I was only 16 or 17. He signed me to a seven-year contract without a screen test. It was a Cinderella story, but those could happen in those days.”

At the start of her career, Fleming played an extra in a couple of movies before she landed her breakthrough role in Spellbound (1945), produced by Selznick and directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
From that movie on, Fleming became one of the most wanted and most appreciated actresses of that period of Hollywood’s golden age. Speaking of the time she was a face recognized by the whole country and beyond, and her roles in color movies, Fleming told People, “Suddenly my green eyes were green green. My red hair was flaming red. My skin was porcelain white. There was suddenly all this attention on how I looked rather than the roles I was playing.”
Rhonda Fleming, the star who lit up the screen in such films as ‘Spellbound,’ ‘A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court’ and ‘Gunfight at the O.K. Corral,’ has died https://t.co/jjhtylSykBpic.twitter.com/upNDabu9yQ
Fleming played in more than 40 movies, including A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court, Serpent of the Nile, The Great Lover, The Spiral Staircase and more.
It is said that even the tiniest act of kindness can go a long way, and I am convinced this saying is very much true. Just think about it, treating someone with a smile or a “thank you” doesn’t cost us anything, but given to them at their hard time may mean the world to them. So, always be nice to people you come across, because as great late actor Robin Williams once said, “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.”
Chloe is a little girl who loves people so very much. Her bubbly personality is appreciated by many, even strangers. This time, she and daddy were having some fun time together at the Copley Place mall in Boston, MA, when she noticed the escalator. As she saw all the people going down the escalator, she stood next to it and waved “bye” to each and every one of them.
What’s best is that everyone waved back. Chloe put smiles on so many faces that day.
Her daddy believed what his little girl did was kind of cute, something we totally agree with, and decided to put it on tape, and boy, we are so glad he did.
If you want to see sweet Chloe spreading positivity, check out the video below, and If you find it cute, please share it with your friends and make their day.
The story of little Cameron Scott teaches us that giving up is never an option. This brave little man went through so much during his short life. To everyone’s surprise the 8-year-old hero beat stage 4 brain cancer.
Thanks to his strong will, his parents’ support and unconditional love, and the professionalism and devotion from the staff of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Cameron was given a chance to live and explore the beauties of life.
According to Wivb.com, Cameron was initially diagnosed with a high-risk tumor that unfortunately spread to his spine. He had to undergo a surgery and numerous medical treatments that would help him recover. It wasn’t easy, but thanks to all the love he receives from people around him, and the advanced medicine, he pulled it through.
Wendell Scott, Cameron’s father, says his son is his hero. We would add that he is our hero too.
The follow-up treatments were done at the St.Jude’s where doctors discovered how Cameron didn’t suffer from a single disease, but four.
Thankfully, the boy was admitted at the right hospital that pioneered gene sequencing of his cancer which lead to a more targeted and more effective treatment.
The six months of chemotherapy and radiation resulted in a happy, cancer free young boy ready to grasp everything his new life has in store for him.
“I feel amazing now,” Cameron said. “I feel like I’ve been through everything.”
Share this story with your friends so that more people see how brave this young boy is!
No matter if they are humans or animals, parents are parents, and that means they are always there for their little ones, making sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and love.
Now if you believe humans’ feelings towards their bundles of joy are stronger or in any way different than those of the animals, this video will prove you wrong.

A baby lion was born at the Denver Zoo in July of last year and his first encounter with his mighty daddy is cute beyond words. Now imagine the fierce King of the Jungle getting emotional in front of his newborn cub. People are glad the video of the father and son was put on tape because it comes as a refreshment from the bad news we hear every day.
The lion could be seen crouching in front of the tiny baby, and that’s cute and heart-melting at the same time.
Source: Facebook/Denver Zoo
The cub is still way too small to be shown to the public, so the workers at the zoo make sure they post plenty of videos of him on their Facebook page.
“He’s spent the last couple months bonding with his mom (Neliah), dad (Tobias) and half-sister (Kamara) behind the scenes at Predator Ridge at Denver Zoo, and will soon make his big public debut in one of the outdoor habitats,” Jake Kubié, the director of communications at Denver Zoo told Bored Panda. “He’s all the things you might expect of a lion cub: playful, curious and energetic!”
Source: Facebook/Denver Zoo
What is even more special about the cub is that the public took part in naming him. This way, the zoo helped raise funds for the lions who live there. The list consisted of three very special and meaningful names people could choose from and vote for.
The first name was Meru, which is the name of a mountain in Tanzania, the second was Moremi, the name of a game reserve in Botswana, and the third was Tatu, Swahili word for the number three, as the cub is the third offspring of mom Neliah. Honestly, we were totally in love with each of these names and knew that whichever the public voted for would suit the baby just perfectly. Eventually, the name Tatu was chosen.
Source: Facebook/Denver Zoo
Now, if you are among those people who find this story cute, but believe that lions don’t belong in the zoo but free and living in their natural habitat, the zoo has something to share with you.
“It’s very important to remember that half of African lions have disappeared in the last 25 years and face growing threats, such as poaching, loss of prey and destruction of habitats in their native ranges” the Denver Zoo representative said. “We hope that by seeing our little lion cub, people will be inspired and take action to help protect his wild counterparts and other wildlife around the world.”

One dog’s compassion for a friend in need touched us to the core. It’s not that we didn’t know how special and caring canines are already, but it seems they want to show that to us over and over again.
As the injured and pregnant German Shepherd stood on the side of a busy road in Muscoy, California, waiting for someone to stop and offer a helping hand, she had a companion who wouldn’t leave her side; a red-furred dog. The little dog wanted to make sure the mother-to-be would avoid being hit by a car. Although he couldn’t do much, making her company was more than enough to give her strength not to give up.
Source: Faith Easdale/Facebook
Luckily, one man spotted the dogs and decided to pull over and call for help. He contacted the Dream Fetchers: Project Rescue. The rescuers came to the scene in no time. When they saw the state in which Marley was, they weren’t sure whether she would make it or not. As they took her to their vehicle, Murphy, her protector, followed as he didn’t want to leave his friend alone.
Source: Faith Easdale/Facebook
The sight of Murphy putting his head on Marley’s belly as the rescuers drove them to the shelter was one to remember. These two friends truly loved each other, and I guess most people should learn from them.
Once at the hospital, vets discovered Marley was carrying 11 puppies. But her state was pretty bad as some of her bones were broken.
Source: Faith Easdale/Facebook
As incredible as it sounds, Murphy made Marley company in the days to come, but once he became aware she was in safe hands, it looked as he started backing off little by little.
The rescuers set a goal of finding this loyal dog a forever home, as they knew he would make an excellent companion.
Source: Faith Easdale/Facebook
As for Marley, despite the pain she was in, she eventually gave birth to her 11 babies. Her two legs were in casts but she did her best to be there for her little ones.

It took a couple of years before Marley healed completely. But she’s now a happy and a healthy dog living with her forever family. Her puppies are now all grown up and they all got their happy ending.
Being a teacher isn’t only about making students learn facts from different subjects, but it’s about teaching them about life and how to grow up into the people who will be respected members of the community. Above all, being a teacher is all about understanding your students’ needs and interests and helping them achieve their goals. Great teachers are there for the tiny humans who are part of their classroom not only during lesson time, but out of school too.
Kinsey French of Louisville, Kentucky loves her students to the moon and back. Throughout the years, she learned how to connect with them on a deeper level and be their friend. She’s a special ed teacher to six awesome students aged 7 to 11 years old who are part of the inclusive teaching program for children with Down Syndrome at Christian Academy of Louisville Rock Creek.
This year, French married the love of her life in an awesome wedding ceremony.
“I wanted to grow up and get married to my Prince Charming, and have all my loved ones there with me,” the 25-year-old told TODAY Parents.
And when she taught of her loved ones and all those people who made her life complete, the first who came to her mind were her students. So, she decided to invite them to her wedding.
Not only they got to be part of their teacher’s special day, but they were all given important roles.
These special kids were there to witness when Josh proposed French, so they were part of the couple’s story from the beginning.
“When I told Josh that I wanted my students to be a part of the wedding, he was totally supportive and so excited to include them in the special day,” she said. “We talk a lot about my students, and he said, well, they’re like family to me too.”
They way the students were presented with the wedding invitations was unique. Namely, there was an award ceremony taking place at the school and as the names of the kids were called to get their award they were given invitations too.
The parents were all present and said how the teacher’s act really touched their hearts. They were happy to know that their kids have someone in their life who loves them that much.
“I was a little emotional when [Kinsey] asked Kate and the kids. I just felt like Kinsey and the teachers treat our kids like family,” one mother told TODAY Parents .
Her daughter was beyond excited to be part of her teacher’s wedding day.
“I think she told everybody in town about being in Kinsey’s wedding,” the mom reported.
“I loved watching Miss Kinsey getting married… I got to throw out flowers [onto the aisle], and the mashed potatoes [at the reception] were so good,” young Kate said.
The students, together with French’s nephew and niece had the time of their life as they got to bring the rings and the flowers and were given a bunch of gifts.
“They got to do dress fittings, and feel like princesses, and that was exciting,” French said.
“Obviously, the moment that I’ll always remember is just the doors opening, and getting to see my groom for the first time,” French told TODAY Parents. “I’ll always remember the reception, and just having all of my loved ones in one place. It was an incredible experience.”
With all that attention, the food, the dancing, and the awesome wedding cake, this really was a day to remember.
What this teacher did for her students is so sweet that it melted our hearts. We wish more teachers consider their students a family and a crucial part of their life.
Take a look at the video below to learn more about French and John’s wedding day.
Who doesn’t want their wedding to be nothing less than perfect? However, things don’t always go as planned, and luckily, that isn’t just true for the unpleasant things that happen, but for the good ones as well.
Sometimes, it can be a guest who takes the dance floor and lifts everyone’s mood, or more likely, the flower girls and ring bearers who are usually young children who don’t truly understand the importance of their role at the wedding ceremony and do goofy things.
YouTube
At this particular wedding, the bride and the groom had two ring bearers, although none of the boys really had the rings as that would be a huge responsibility for someone so young. Needless to say, everyone’s eyes were on the little kids who made this reception even better than anyone expected.
The first boy made his big entrance holding the flower girl’s hand. The two were so cute that guests couldn’t stop looking at them. But then, at one moment, the curious kid spotted the cameraman and had to stop for a second to speak to him, but moved on quickly.
YouTube
The second ring bearer, a tiny toddler all dressed up for the occasion, however, took things to the next level of comedy and made everyone roll with laughter.
As he walked down the aisle, guests smiled at him and waved their hands in order to guide him, but he found all those people who were staring at him quite hilarious and started laughing uncontrollably. As everyone found that beyond cute and laughed back, the sweet toddler laughed even harder.

Get ready to smile and watch it for yourself in the video below. What an awesome group of ring bearers!
A devastating and tragic incident took place in April of this year when a Michigan father named Michael Christopher Glance got into fight with his partner and the mother of their two-year-old son, Nicole McCarthy.
In an attempt to punish her, Glance shot their boy in the face with a shotgun.
The whole country was in disbelief. People were left wondering how crazy one has to be in order to harm their own child in such manner.
The lunatic is now facing charges for an attempted murder and all we hope is for him to spend the rest of his life behind bars.
The tragedy took place in the family’s home in Barrett Avenue in Blackman Township.
Allegedly, the 32-year-old father who was angry at his partner took a pistol and pulled the trigger at the boy, but according to Jackson County Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Kati Rezmierski the firearm failed to go off.
Realizing the mad man intended to kill the boy, his mother managed to grab him and put him in the car. Sadly, the father was after them, this time carrying a shotgun.
“He pointed the shotgun at the same two-year-old son of his that was strapped defenseless in the back seat of the car. He pointed it at him and blew off half of his face,” said Rezmierski.
“For whatever reason, Mr. Glance decided to take his anger out on his 2-year-old child that day,” Rezmierski told MLive. “It was by some divine intervention that gun malfunctioned and his life was spared, but how much of it was really spared?” asked the devastated mother.
As the damage he caused wasn’t enough, the crazy man tried getting his malfunctioning pistol going as he wanted to fire again. Luckily, he failed and fled the scene moments later.
The boy was rushed to the hospital and the lunatic was tracked down by the police in an attempt to hide.
The judge appointed for the case has asked from the state-run Center for Forensic Psychiatry to make a mental evaluation of Glance and decide whether he could be held criminally liable for the crimes he committed.
As for now, Glance is being held on $10 million bond.
The boy, Ryker, has been discharged from the clinic after 27 days, but the doctors at the Ann Arbor’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital say that he has to undergo more surgeries in the future.
As the cost for his treatments is pretty high, his family created a GoFundMe page and raised around $82,000 so far.
The page says, “Ryker now has over 100 stitches in his face post-surgery and is still listed in critical care with a ventilator and feeding tube installed in his stomach. He has a long road of recovery ahead with more surgeries to come.”
“Her children are her life,” Ryker’s grandfather Doug McCarthy told MLive. “I’m still in shock but thankful for all the support we’re getting. I never thought there could be this many people who would want to help someone they never met. Ryker still has a long road to recovery, and if it wasn’t for all the support, I don’t think we would have made it this far,” she added.
We pray for sweet Ryker to recover completely and we hope he will be able to live the life he deserves.
Little children are curious by nature, and many times, they aren’t even aware of some of the dangers that are hidden behind their actions, like putting tiny objects in their mouth or wandering off without being noticed. That is why parents have to be extra careful and extra cautious until their little ones become aware of the consequences of their actions.
A 2-year-old boy from Cornwall, UK, named Cobie Grimshaw, lost his life after playing on the sofa near the cord of the blinds which weren’t fixed and got entangled on the beaded cord. The horrific incident took place April, 4, of this year.
When Cobie’s mother, 26-year-old Lauren Grimshaw went to check on her son who was by himself for just a very short amount of time, she saw him standing on the sofa faced back and though he was just sleepy. But as she got closer, she noticed the cord was around his neck.
Speaking to the Mirror of the tragic occurrence, the heartbroken mother said, “I immediately took him out of the cord by lifting him then taking it from his neck while shouting for mum and Tom (her partner).”
Steven Humphries, one of Lauren’s neighbors and a former volunteer at St. John’s Ambulance, heard the screams and rushed inside the house. He gave Cobie CPR while they were waiting for help to arrive. He remembers asking for how long had the boy been irresponsible and recalls saying “That had been a very long time,” after the grandma said 5 to 10 minutes.
Shortly after, an air ambulance arrived and took Cobie, together with Lauren, to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, Devon, before he was transferred to a specialist hospital in Bristol. Sadly, being without oxygen for over 10 minutes caused sweet Cobie’s brain to swallow. He was placed on a ventilator, but on April 7, three days after the accident, Cobie passed away.
Cobie was Lauren’s only child. She described him a boy loved by everyone who knew him.
Coroner Andrew Cox said the cause of death was a global brain injury due to asphyxiation and added, “Cobie was a normal fit and healthy two-year-old boy. Into everything, clearly accustomed to climbing onto the sofa and using it as a trampoline.”
“On this morning, he‘d been doing what two-year-old boys do, but tragically while climbing onto the back of the sofa he’d become entangled in the cords which were not fixed to the wall and he’s become accidentally entrapped and strangled himself.|
Rest in peace sweet boy, you will be dearly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Macy Mathis was unlike most teenagers. Although she was just 16 years old, a period of the life of children when they think they know everything, tend to get into arguments with their parents, and refuse anyone’s help as they believe they are old enough to know what’s best for them, Macy was very close to her family. And as her peers enjoyed spending time with friends, this sweet young lady loved being at home with her mother whom she loved the most.
But life is many times unfair, and Macy lost her life after being involved in a car accident.
Her mother, Cindy, couldn’t get over the pain the loss of her daughter created in her heart. This heartbroken mother was hoping for a closure as it was almost impossible for her to continue with her life without getting one.
But then, weeks after Macy’s death, Cindy stumbled upon something that helped her ease her sorrow, even a little.
Macy was writing letters for different occasions, and Cindy found all 25 of them. Some were for the sleepless nights, and some for the everyday problems her mom was facing. But one of them said, “Open when… you miss me.” Cindy started shaking. She couldn’t find the courage to read her sweet daughter’s words although she knew that the envelope contained the closure she was longing for.
When she finally gathered some strength, Cindy read the letter which said, “Hey mommy. I’m sorry that you’re missing me. I hope that wherever you are or whatever you’re doing you’re okay. I’m probably missing you too. I honestly don’t like being away from the house for too long. I get homesick pretty easily. When I was little and lived with Dad, I would look forward to being with you.
I think some of it was because you always had good food at your house, but most of it was because I just missed you so much. I will always and forever love you, Mommy. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. Macy Mathis”
Those words touched her deeply. She now had something from Macy to hold on to.
Cindy shared the letter on the Facebook page she created to honor her daughter, Macy’s Journey, and wrote, “This one was so hard to open. You don’t know how much mommy misses you! There is not a second of the day that goes by and I don’t think of you. You are my rock, my best friend, my everything, ” Macy’s mother writes. “We love you so very much babygirl!! Mommy misses you more than words could ever express! Goodnight my sweet, beautiful angel.”
The bond between Cindy and Macy was a strong one. We are very saddened Macy had to leave this world so young and we honestly hope her mother would be able to overcome the grief eventually, although that never happens when one loses a child. Rest in peace sweet soul.
Being determined and not letting anything stand on your way to success is the only way to fulfill your passions and dreams.
But what happens if in the middle of taking the exam your life and career depends on, you go into labor? This sounds too incredible to be true, one may say, but this is exactly what happened to mom-to-be, Brianna Hill, 28, whose water broke as she was taking her bar exam.
She was supposed to take the exam earlier this year, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed for October 2020.
“I thought I would only be 28 weeks pregnant when I took the bar,” Brianna told CNN. “However, due to the pandemic, the test was pushed to October and I was going to be 38 weeks. I joked about taking the test from my hospital bed. Lesson learned!”
On October 5, Brianna was supposed to finish the first two sections. Since the testing was done online, she had to be facing the computer the whole time and wasn’t allowed to take any breaks until the first section was over. But just 30 minutes into the test, she could feel her water broke. Since she wasn’t allowed to stand up, she could only hope she wasn’t giving birth at that exact moment, but as it turned out, it was exactly what was happening.

“I couldn’t go check and so I finished the first section. As soon as I stood up when I finished, I knew my water had broken,” the Illinois mom said.
What happened next is unbelievable. “I took my break, got myself cleaned up, called my husband, midwife, and mom, cried because I was a little panicked, then sat down to take the second part because my midwife told me I had time before I needed to go to the hospital,” Brianna said. We can’t even imagine how she felt knowing her baby was coming any second and she was still in the middle of the most important exam.
Speaking to Good Morning America, this brave lady said, “I started the second section and 15 to 20 minutes in, I started having contractions. I had already asked for an accommodation to get up and go to the bathroom because I was 38 weeks pregnant and they said I’d get flagged for cheating. I couldn’t leave the view of the camera.”
Finally, after she finished the second section, Brianna was taken to the West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Illinois, where she gave birth to baby Cassius Phillip Andrew less than five hours upon arrival.
This mother is a real hero. Even during the most stressful, yet exciting, moments of her life, she managed to stay calm and collected.
The first day as a mother was unusual for Brianna as it was the day she delivered her baby. She took the second part of the exam in the hospital room and nursed her son between sessions.
Sharing her unusual experience with Above the Law, the graduate from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago said, “Obviously, I really hope I passed but I’m mostly just proud that I pushed through and finished.”
After this (cursed?) post, sis finished 1st part of the Bar aaand her water broke! She took the 2nd part, went to hospital, had baby last night (in a mask!), & took the rest of the exam from a hospital bed today bc WOMEN ARE STRONG AS HAIL. The new lawyer-mom we don’t deserve!!! https://t.co/PMxonaPVrQpic.twitter.com/CqGK34xM5q
We keep our fingers crossed for the new mom to pass her bar exam. She has put a lot of time and effort studying for it, and she definitely deserves it given the “crazy” circumstances she finished it in.
Being a celebrity means fame, money, and luxurious life. However, the side-effects of such living style are many. One in particular is the privacy and the private intimate life that celebrities tend to hide from the public eye. People want to know what’s going on in the private lives of their idols. Many celebrities cannot endure this type of pressure. We have witnessed many romances fell apart, marriages destroyed and divorces are happening on a regular basis. Luckily, not all of our idols have the same fate.
The life story of Sam Elliott and Katharine Ross beats the odds. This famous couple have been together for more than 40 years and they still enjoy each other’s company. Sam and Katharine are excellent example for the other celebrities and they do have to share the key of their success.
Both of them were famous before their marriage. Now in their 70s, these people are loving each other with the same passion since the day they met in 1978.
Sam an Katharine’s romance began in 1978 when both of them starred in the film The Legacy.
Personally they didn’t know each other prior the filming. However, Elliot says that he has been trying to get Katharine’s attention ten years before the filming in 1978. While he was playing the role in Butch Cassidy, the actor wanted to contact Katherine. He says:
“I didn’t dare try to talk to her then. She was the leading lady. I was a shadow on the wall, a glorified extra in a bar scene.”
Katherine and Sam married in 1984. For Katharine this was fifth marriage and the only long-lasting. They have a daughter names Cleo Rose.
They admit that it is very difficult to find free time and enjoy the marriage when many projects are awaiting you. However, they do find time for a little romance. Once, as Sam says, he even skipped a role just to be with Katharine in Hawaii.
Sam did not lose the role. Katharine called the agents and made sure Sam goes back in the States on time.
The family photo. Cleo Rose posted this on Instagram and she wrote: “My mom and I have a joke that we’re always talking when pictures are taken”
In 2017 the couple did a film together. They are still together, personally and professionally.
About the joint project Katharine says:
“Sometimes that’s easier than real life. You’re [sic] got a script. You’ve got a part. You’ve got your creative juices flowing together. It’s not about the dirty dishes in the sink or whether you’ve picked something up at the laundry…”
Since for celebrities it is difficult to stay together for a long period, Sam says:
“We have a common sensibility, but we also work at being together. You work past the s–t; you don’t walk away from it. That’s how relationships last.”

“What makes a marriage work is a mutual love and a mutual respect. There are peaks and valleys like everything else, but you have to push on,” Elliott told the San Francisco Chronicle.
Elliott is a nominee for Best Supporting Actor for a Star Is Born.
The British Royals are always under the spotlight. People not only from the UK but from all over the world are always eager to know what the members of the family are up to. Recently, all eyes were on The Duke and The Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and his wife, Megan Markle, after they decided to step down from their royal duties.
That didn’t really affect the relationship between Harry and his brother Prince William who seem to be as close as they have always been. Their brotherhood is strong, but not many know that they have a step-sister, the step-daughter of Prince Charles and biological daughter of Camilla Parker Bowles, Laura Lopes.
Shutterstock
Laura was born in 1978 in Swindon, England. Her father is the retired British Army officer Andrew Parker Bowles. The family of Laura and the British Royals have been closely connected for many years. In fact, Prince Charles was a godfather to Laura’s brother Tom long before he married Camilla.
BBC News even reported how Laura’s great-great-grandmother was the mistress of Prince Charles’ great-great-grandfather King Edward VII.
Shutterstock
Today, Laura is sometimes referred to as the “secret”sister as she is trying to avoid the spotlight at any cost and is trying to keep a low profile.
She grew up in Bolehyde Manor in Allington and later moved to the famous Middlewick House in Corsham. Being a devoted Catholic, just like her father whom Camilla divorced a year before her new husband and Princess Diana split, Laura attended the Catholic boarding school in Dorset and got a degree in History of Art and Marketing from the Oxford Brookes University.

After her parents divorced and her mother’s love for Prince Charles which she kept secret for many years was publicly revealed, Laura was confused.
Rumors are she didn’t get along with her step-father in the beginning and was teased at school because of the marriage. She couldn’t easily accept that her parents were no longer together, although magazines were writing at the time that Laura’s father Andrew was also to be blamed for the divorce as he had numerous affairs, it was her mother’s marriage that bothered her at the time.
Katie Nicholl, royal reporter and writer of the book “William and Harry: Behind the Palace Walls”, wrote, “When Charles telephoned Camilla at the family home in Wiltshire, Laura would pick up an extension and shout down the receiver, ‘Why don’t you stop calling Mummy and leave our family alone.” She wasn’t fond of her new life close to the Royal and would often get into fights with Prince William.
“William and Laura used to have terrible fights over who was to blame for their broken homes,” Nicholl wrote. “William would blame Camilla for all the hurt she had caused his mother, which would send Laura into a rage. Laura was not having any of it. She would take a hard line and fire back at William, ‘Your father has ruined my life.'”
However, the step-siblings are said to have overcome all their quarrels and are close. Laura was invited to Harry’s wedding in 2018.
In 2011, she attended Prince William’s wedding and her daughter Eliza Lopes was a bridesmaid. “It’s incredibly nerve-racking … Not for Eliza – she’s too young to really understand – but I’m terrified she will get half-way down the aisle and then go, ‘I need a poo,'” Laura told The Telegraph.
Laura is happily married to aristocrat and chartered accountant Harry Lopes. She tied the knot a year after her mom’s wedding. She has three children, daughter Eliza and twins Gus and Louis. Her step-siblings were part of her wedding. According to Hello, “William and [then-girlfriend] Kate [Middleton] flew in from their holiday in Mustique, while Harry jetted back from Cape Town where he’d been staying with then-girlfriend Chelsy Davy.”
Laura’s brother Tom said that despite their mother Camilla being married into the Royal family, he and her sister are just common children and are on the side.
Laura is a huge lover of art and is a co-founder and director of the London’s Eleven Gallery and working as an art curator.
Despite their own families being torn apart, they all seemed to learn how to embrace their new, big family and are getting along just great, as sibling, step or not, should do.
The “Hulkmania” that took over America was all about the legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan whose fame grew bigger and bigger with each passing day.
Hogan was born Terrence Gene Bollea on August 11, 1953, in Augusta, Georgia. He attended the University of South Florida because he wanted education for himself but his passion was always associated with wrestling.
So, instead of pursuing a degree, he spent his days at the gym of wrestlers Jack and Jerry Brisco. His career started when he was just 22, back in 1979, when he started wrestling at small venues in the Southeast and was noticed by the World Wrestling Federation owner Vince McMahon Sr.

Once in the world of wrestling, Terrence needed a professional name. His distinctive looks and massive figure was soon associated with that of mighty Hulk and that’s when he became known as Hulk Hogan. He was very passionate about his profession and won his debut match against Andre the Giant in WWF.
The image of Hulk Hogan became known globally and he tried himself in movies, including No Holds Barred (1989), Mr. Nanny (1993) and Santa with Muscles (1996), so his popularity grew even bigger.

Hogan married wife Linda in 1983 and the two have two children, daughter Brooke and son Nick. The family was part of the reality show “Hogan Knows Best” on VH-1 which was a huge hit. In fact, the idea of having cameras in the house for more than 12 hours a day wasn’t something Linda was very fond of, but as Hogan said, it was a perfect opportunity for the whole country to learn of his daughter and to promote her career as a musician. “You know, we thought, this would be a great way to give Brooke Hogan an awareness, to make people know who she was,” Hulk said in an interview with CNN in 2005, the same year the show aired.
“It started as that, and it’s shoe- stringed through the whole episodes, her music career, but it’s basically about the whole family now”.

Brooke was born May 5, 1988 as Brooke Bollea but she soon took the name Hogan herself. She released her first music single from the album Everything to Me in 2004 and the song reachedNo. 1 on the Hot 100 Singles Sales chart in the US and peaked at No. 97 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2006, she released the song “About Us” together with rapper Paul Wall. It reached number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2009, she released the album Undiscovered which was a huge hit.
Although she already had a successful career in music, Brooke, who is a daddy’s girl, followed into his footsteps. In 2006, she made her debut in WWE at the Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXIII in Dallas, Texas.

Hogan and Brooke have always been very close.
She recalls the time she would watch her dad on TV and said, “When I was little, I was terrified. We’d watch TV and I’d see my dad like my mom said, gushing blood, and I’d cry and I’d run out of the room and I’d throw a tantrum and I’d want him to come home. But my mom just sat me down one day and said Brooke, your dad’s OK. He does this for a living. He’s going to come back home fine.
She also remembers missing her daddy when he was away, especially during the time when he started New World Order (NWO) wrestling as “Hollywood Hogan” after being expelled from WWE because of drug abuse and was spending a lot of time working.

In 2007, Linda accused Hogan of cheating her with her best friend and filed for divorce. The couple officially untied the knot two years later, in 2009. Her parents’ separation was hard for Brooke.
“I’m going through one of the hardest issues I’ve ever had to deal with in my life … please keep me and my family in your prayers,” Brooke wrote on the social media.
After the divorce, she spent more time with Hogan and didn’t have much of a relationship with her mother, but today, the two are on good terms. Back in the day, Brooke said of her mother speaking to E Online, “We don’t talk… I feel betrayed. I look at the things she’s released and said about me and I’m like, how could I ever trust her again? How could I ever look at her and be like, ‘You kind of threw me in front of the bus in front of the whole world’… I’m just looking at how my dad’s treating me and how my mom’s treating me, and my mom has kind of backstabbed me a couple times.”
Brooke had her own show, The Fashion Hero, where regular people competed to model for four famous fashion names. She says how she loved the project because “I’ve been called everything, so I personally connected to this mission, and I just think it’s so cool that we can start changing how people define beauty.” Speaking of the times she was body-shamed for her muscles and height she added, “Because kids are literally killing themselves, or developing eating disorders, trying to fit into a box. We’re not all mannequins. There’s no possible way that we could live up to that standard. So it was like a passion project for me.”
Brooke was about to marry former Dallas Cowboys player Phil Costa, but broke off the engagement and is now dating businessman Kyle Rowe. According to her Instagram account, she’s really happy with his new love.

She often posts photos of her dad who is obviously her idol. “Through all the ups and downs life has given us, you’ve shown me the meaning of unconditional love. You are a special soul on this earth and you have brought so much joy and light to the world even if you had it’s weight on your shoulders. You’re a warrior. I love you,” she wrote for Father’s Day.
A horrific incident took place October 9th, after a 12-year-old autistic boy was tricked into drinking bleach by some older kids, which resulted in him ending up in coma.
It was reported by Daily Star that Ronnie Philips and his brother Jimmy, 11, sneaked out of their home in Crawley, West Sussex, UK, while their mother was fast asleep and met with the older kids. They offered Ronnie a can with what was supposed to be alcohol. But the moment Ronnie drank it, he collapsed on the ground. Jimmy got really scared as he though his brother was dead and started screaming for help.
Fortunately, a woman heard him and then saw the boys. She stayed with them until help arrived and soon after, Ronnie was taken to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the St. George Hospital where he was put in an induced coma.
The boys’ mother, Danielle Phillips, was heartbroken. She couldn’t believe someone would hurt her autistic son and leave him there to die.
“I just want to make people realize the dangers of drink, drugs, playing stupid games and running away leaving a child to die,” she said. “Kids will be kids but this sort of stuff is just ridiculous and dangerous.”
Luckily, Ronnie is now taken off life support and is expected to be fine, but what happened to him will probably stay with him forever.
GoFundMe
The police is investigating the case. Allegedly, the youngsters who hurt Ronnie were found wandering the streets the morning after their victim collapsed, but no further information has been released.
The family set up a GoFundMe page for Ronnie. It says, “This is my 12-year-old grandson who is autistic. On Friday night some older children tricked him into drinking bleach and the result was him having to be put in a induced coma! He is now awake but can’t understand why no one likes him and would do this to him when he thought they was his friends! I want to show him that people do care and are not all nasty.”
We honestly hope Ronnie will be able to leave this terrific experience behind and will learn how to trust people again.
Those children whose parents are part of the military know all too well the uneasy and heartbreaking feeling of saying goodbye. Being away from their moms or dads long months is truly sad, but at the end of the day, those children have someone to be proud of.
Petty Officer 1st Class Josh Buetow was leaving for deployment on the USS Carl Vinson for about six months and his kids, four year old daughter, Riley, and two year old son, Austin, went to the shore at Shelter Island with their mom Bretteny to say goodbye as the ship was departing.
YouTube
The kids were yelling and jumping in excitement, believing their dad could hear them. The sight was truly emotional.
And as the kids were waving and saying goodbye, officer James Weaver spotted them and decided to do something amazing. “I figured there’s no way he’s going to hear their voices at least 50 yards away … I thought I’d give them a chance to be louder and give their voices a chance to be heard by their dad,” Weaver said. He then let them speak on the PA speaker. Riley was over the moon. She was now sure her dad could hear her say “bye, bye” and “we love you.”
YouTube
Officer Weaver’s dad was part of the Navy, too, and he knew how hard it was for the kids as he recalled the time he was in their place many years ago.
“It’s hard because, especially when you’re younger, you don’t realize what’s going on. All the sudden, Dad’s gone … I know what it’s like to not have your dad there. With two little kids of my own, I can see how hard it is on the other side, being the parent,” he said.
YouTube
This whole experience was also very hard for mom Bretteny as this was the first time for her husband to leave, but she was very glad and very thankful to officer Weaver who made the whole thing a bit easier for the family. “I had held it together really well until they started saying goodbye, and the tears just started. He didn’t have to do that. It was really kind of him to pull up and try to make it special,” she said.
After the heartwarming experience took place, Bretteny posted on Facebook and thanked the kind officer publicly.
Needless to say, her post went viral and everyone praised Officer Weaver for what he did.
Take a look at the whole story in the video below.
A video posted on Twitter by a person that goes by the name @Mulaflare has gone viral these days after it showed a woman throwing a puppy on him.
The poor animal ended up on the ground and wouldn’t stop crying. The woman was acting in a strange and crazy manner and many believe she was under the influence.
Although the video starts after the confrontation which is taking place in broad daylight had already started, it’s obvious the man got attacked by the woman for no reason. He could be heard saying, “Let me get in my car,” but the woman, who is still not identified, refuses to do so and walks back and forth in a disoriented manner, speaking nonsense.
In another video of the same incident, the inner “Karen” of the woman pops up and she could be heard saying, “You’re black.” The man is in disbelief and asks her to repeat what she had just said, to what she says, “I said, you are black.” The man now gets really frustrated and says, “So what? So what if I’m f****** Black?” to what she replies, “So what if I’m f****** white?”
As he reminds her that she was the one who attacked him, he asks her whether the puppy she is holding very uncomfortably and with just one hand is hers, to which she goes completely mad and throws the poor animal at him.
The dog then rushed to the man as though she’s asking to be saved from the maniac.
The crazy woman then approaches once again and asks to take the dog back, but it’s a no, no for the man who knows the animal is definitely not safe with her. And as attacking him and yelling at him wasn’t enough, she goes on to accuse him of stealing the dog from her.
The man took the dog with him and the sweet animal is now under his care. He even opened an Instagram account dedicated to the pup now named Movie which has over 204K followers.
A GoFundMe page was also set up and people are donating for Movie. So far, over $6,000 have been raised.
We are glad the poor animal didn’t suffer any serious injuries and is now around people who truly love her.
When we think of soldiers and military men and women, the first thing that comes to our mind is the sacrifice each and every one of them makes for the country. These people don’t have it easy as they are very often deployed overseas and spend long months away from their loved ones.
The good thing is that we as Americans know how to pay these people the respect they deserve. I don’t think there is a citizen of our country who wouldn’t thank a soldier for their courage, devotion, and commitment to keep America a safe place.
Recently, we stumbled upon a story that restored our faith in humanity and melted our hearts. A woman named Jessica Titus wrote it for Love What Matters and we couldn’t help but share it with you.
She starts by saying how she was taking a flight recently when she spotted an Army soldier walking in front of her. In the next moment, as the soldier tried to take her seat in the economy class, something truly amazing happened.
A man from the first class section approached the Military woman and said, “Sorry, ma’am, I’m in your seat.”
The soldier got pretty confused and replied, “What? No—I’m in 31B.” The man then insisted that the place was his and let the soldier take his comfortable seat in the first class. He believed it was the least he could do for someone who was willing to put her life on the line for the well-being of the whole nation.
Titus was deeply touched by the man’s generosity that she decided to do a generous act herself. On a small piece of paper, she wrote a thank you note for the man and put a $10 bill.
Love What Matters via Facebook
Apparently, he refused the money, but was glad to accept the note that reminded him just how much change he made for a soldier and for the rest of the passengers who witnessed his act of kindness.
People agree how everyone should treat any member of the military the same way as this man treated the soldier on his flight.
One person commented, “Respect is never wasted….lead by example….live by good deeds… love unconditionally and never be afraid to step aside to honor others. Lessons are taught through actions not just words and none of us are too old to learn.”
What is it that makes young children treat their classmates with disrespect and bully them? I could never understand how someone who is supposed to be innocent, as a child, feels the urge to hurt someone whom they are supposed to love. I guess those who turn to bullying are simply weak people who fail at solving their social problems and managing their emotions. But because of their personal insecurities, their victims become insecure as well, and that feeling of weakness and of lower value is sometimes present for life.
Sadly, the schools, where most of the bullying takes place, don’t always take these matters seriously and don’t do enough to protect the victims.

The parents of a teenager from Cotham School in Bristol, UK, who wanted to stay anonymous, got a call from the school about their son who was skipping classes. According to the teachers, he didn’t show up at school for three days.
His mom and dad were surprised to hear this because their son would get ready and go to school on those days the teachers said he wasn’t present.
After speaking to him, the boy admitted how he went to school but was staying in the bathroom, hiding from his bullies. This was a huge shock for the parents.
However, the school refused to believe such thing happened, which raged the parents even further. “They don’t take the situation very seriously or the well-being of [my son], who has been in the toilet for three days,” the teen’s father said.
Cotham School
After the parents made it clear they won’t be dropping the subject just like that, the school decided to launch an investigation.
“We take allegations of bullying and the well-being of our students very seriously and are working with this family to investigate,” a spokesperson of Cotham School was reported saying.
“We are, of course, saddened that one of our students felt unable to go to lessons after registering in school or to approach one of our excellent and well-trained pastoral staff for support. When we were made aware of the allegations of bullying only very recently last week, senior and pastoral staff met with the family and we immediately launched an investigation into their concerns.”
Cotham School
We can’t even imagine the fear this teenager is feeling each day. We hope the school will solve the matter as soon as possible so that he wouldn’t worry for his safety any longer.
The educational institutions should be places where our children feel safe and secure, and that must never change.
Just as the whole world was hoping the pandemic could be coming to an end, the number of people affected by Covid-19 has increased in most of the countries. The number of cases since the start of this craziness that shook every single person on the planet is over 37.5 million, with over 1 million deaths worldwide.
The reality is that no one is spared. It can affect grown-ups, elderly, and children. Some researches even suggest that animals could get it and spread it too.
Charlee Swearingen is a 16-year-old girl who contracted the virus two weeks ago and her story went viral after her dad, Kevin Swearingen, took to Facebook to chronicle his daughter’s journey. At the beginning, Charlee, who is in a wheelchair and nonverbal because of a rare genetic neurological disorder known as Rett syndrome, was feeling okay, but soon after, her condition changed for worse as her oxygen levels dropped alarmingly. The teen was rushed to the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston where she was placed on life support.
After nearly a week, Kevin Swearingen reunited with his daughter who is battling the coronavirus. Texas Children’s Hospital visitor policy had prohibited him from being able to see her.
Charlee’s treatment consists of receiving the antibodies from Covid-19 survivors to help her fight the virus.
Initially, one parent at a time was allowed to be by her side, but that policy changed at the end of September and Kevin’s wife Jana was the only one to be able to be by their daughter’s side.
Kevin was posting pleas on Facebook every single day and was spending his days outside the hospital, right under his daughter’s room’s window. He was asking for the policy to change so that he could be able to enter Charlee’s room even if he had “to wear a NASA suit.” Eventually, the hospital allowed two caregivers per patient to be able to enter the hospital and he was reunited with his girl.
Kevin is still posting about Charlee’s condition, which sadly worsened. Doctors are now putting her back on a ventilator after they used tubes to inflate her lungs which are “still full of gunk.” He’s asking from people to pray for his daughter and says the messages they are getting from people from all over the country and beyond is what gives them the strength to endure during these hard times for the family.
Charlee, we pray for you to get well soon and go home with your mom and dad who love you unconditionally.
