This is the heartbreaking story of Addison Weast, a sweet girl of 16 months who suffered from the hands of her cruel stepfather Cody Geddings.
Some ten years ago, Addison’s mother left her daughter with her husband Cody, the little girl’s stepfather. Sadly, no one knew that this man would turn violent against the pure soul he was supposed to care for.
On that night of March 31, Cody called an ambulance and reported the baby fell from her crib. When she was taken to the hospital, Addison was so badly injured that none of the doctors could say whether she would survive or not. The injuries were severe and it didn’t look like they could be from a fall. Instead, the girl’s situation spoke that she was beaten and abused.
Sadly, Addison didn’t make it and died just 2 days after she was admitted to the hospital. Cody was convicted and charged for killing her. It was reported how he was violent in the past and this wasn’t the first time for him to abuse the little girl.
Addison’s heartbroken mother divorced the monster who killed her daughter and couldn’t believe how she failed to notice he was a lunatic.
This sad story is a reminder that we should be extra cautious when we trust our children with others, no matter if they are complete strangers or members of the family.

We have this endless well within us, and it’s just about continuing to dig in that well for the strength to face adversity — and so that we can also see all the beauty.”

The cancer crushed her plans of becoming a mother. She confessed how she was planning on having kids with her husband before her diagnosis, but now that’s not possible. ”It’s not possible [for me to get pregnant] because I can’t get out of menopause,” Shannen explained.
”That would require estrogen, and I’m choosing not to take hormone pills — I can’t risk those levels coming up.”

Ben Watkins was an incredibly talented boy of 14 years who was part of the most famous culinary show MasterChef Junior.
Sadly, sweet Ben passed away after battling a very rare form of cancer known as angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma for a year and a half.
He was diagnosed with the deadly disease which affected his soft tissue shortly after a family tragedy in which he lost both his parents. It was in September 2017 that his mom and dad died of murder-suicide, leaving Ben behind.
He was described by many as a loving and caring boy who was very passionate about cooking. “He never, ever complained. Ben was and will always be the strongest person we know,” the statement released by his grandmother, Donna Edwards, and uncle, Anthony Edwards said.

After the loss of his parents, a GoFundMe page was set to help Ben, and now, after his death, it was reorganized again.
Chef Gordon Ramsey paid tribute to Ben and described him as “an incredibly talented home cook and even stronger young man.”

Being a teacher has to be one of the best jobs in the entire world. Yes, the pay may not be ideal, and it takes a lot of effort, but the thought of being there for children who see you as their support and the person they could trust and rely on is priceless.

She was born Jill Tracy Jacobs in 1951 and her family moved from New Jersey to Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, where she grew up. Jill graduated from the University of Delaware and earned a bachelor’s and a doctoral degree. She also has two master degrees, from West Chester University and Villanova University.
In August of this year, she told reporters, “It’s important, and I want people to value teachers and know their contributions, and lift up the profession.” Currently, she’s teaching English at a community college in Northern Virginia.

According to those who know her well, Jill is always fun to be around. One of her granddaughters said, “I would say she’s not your average grandmother. She’s the grandmother that wakes you up at, what was it, 5 a.m. on Christmas Eve to go SoulCycle-ing. She’s a prankster, she’s very mischievous. When she goes on a run, sometimes she’ll find, like, a dead snake and she’ll pick it up and put it in a bag, and she’ll use it to scare someone.”

Joe Biden had a hard time convincing Jill to marry him back in the day and had to pop the question five times before she finally said yes, but from what we know of her, she was definitely worth the waiting.
Showing gratitude and saying thank you is the least we can all do for the veterans who fought for our country. This November 11th, however, owing it to Veterans United Home Loans and their champagne ‘Make It Mean More’ our thank you meant a lot more than words, in fact each of the tweets which said, “thank you for your service” was worth $25.
The money raised were used to pay off the home loans of those who were willing to put their own lives on the line for the safety of ours.
Among the celebrities who supported this campaign were Gary Sinise, J.R. Martinez, and Joe Mantegna who are all known for their work towards welfare of veterans. They had the honor to tell some of the former military members of the gift they received.
Sinise called Bill Day, a single father of four, and the video call was truly emotional. “I get to be the messenger to tell you that you’re gonna get your entire mortgage and your loan paid off by Veterans United,” Sinise said, as quoted by People. “You’re not gonna have to worry about any of that.”
Needless to say, Day was touched to the core. He couldn’t find the right words to say how happy he was. “My son is… severely autistic and we’re having so many issues that this is gonna just help,” he said. “It’s gonna help a lot.”
Joe Mantegna told Ryan, and his wife, Stefani, the news that the home they live in is now theirs. Neither the veteran nor the actor could stop tears from rolling down their faces.
The number of tweets expressing gratitude for the veterans was 90,950, which equaled to $2,273,500. This covered the home loans of 11 veterans.

Apparently, all they need in order for their day to get better is a bag full of sweet and mouth-watering marshmallows. Well, who doesn’t love them? They are the perfect treat at the campfire and we can never really have enough of these white and fluffy pleasures.

Military exercises soldiers go through must be tiring. But for an Estonian soldier named Erich Hyri Prikko one such exercise turned into an experience he will never forget.
Prikko and the rest of the soldiers were located near Lake Võrtsjärv, in the southern part of the country, when Prikko felt the urge to “answer the call of nature” not having idea the nature will call him instead.
As he was walking in the woods, Prikko heard strange sounds that resembled cat’s meowing or baby cries, but as he knew neither was likely to be found in that remote place, he was aware it was another animal in question that was making that noise.

When the creature finally emerged from behind the trees, Prikko mistook it for a dog, but as he recalls, he pretty quickly realized it was a small baby moose trying to tell him something.
The baby moose was unsure whether it could trust Prikko, but soon decided to get closer to him as it was both hesitant and curious at the same time.

It was obvious the lovely creature was hungry and was trying to ask Prikko for some food. Sadly, he didn’t have any, but knew just what to do in order to help. Once he looked around and didn’t see the mother anywhere near, Prikko called a vet’s office. Hearing of the unusual encounter, they appeared at the scene carrying a big bottle of milk.
As the day went by, Prikko and the rest of the soldiers knew they had to leave the baby moose and head home. They were aware that the sweet animal’s mother was near by and was waiting for them to leave so that she could reunite with her baby. And they were right.

“We noticed very fresh big moose footprints that indicated that the small calf had been rescued by his mother,” Rikko said after they returned to the scene the following day.
It’s so great this baby put its fear behind and approached Prikko, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to witness one of the most incredible encounters between a human and a moose. Adorable indeed.

A baby Pit Bull was surrendered at a shelter in Michoacan, Mexico, along with a note that broke the hearts of many.
According to what was written inside that piece of paper, the puppy was part of an abusive family and his human sibling named Andrés wanted to save him from being hurt. The boy wanted a better life for his furry pal Rene and hoped the shelter staff would keep him safe.
“My name is Andrés and I am 12 years old,” the note read according to CNN. “My mom and I decided to leave my dog in your hands, hiding it from my dad because he is thinking about selling him. But he mistreats and kicks him. One day he kicked him so hard that he hurt his tail. I hope you can help and take care of him.
“I left him a stuffed animal so he won’t forget me.”
Rene was now in the safe hands of the workers at Refugio Xollin who were more than happy to fulfill the little’s boy wish of finding his puppy a new forever home. As expected, the touching story of Rene was quickly shared all over the Internet and a huge number of potential adopters contacted the shelter asking to take the puppy home.
The interest Rene sparked gave the shelter an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of adopting dogs from shelters over buying them.
“If everyone opened their heart and their home like this little dog, they would have adopted all our dogs from the shelter,” adding there were more than 120 animals who were waiting for their future families to come across their path.
“Prayers for the little boy & anyone who is helpless against the man beater! Beautiful dog & I know this little boy loved his dog enough to want it to have a better life!” Wrote Debby Mills.
“How I wish this little boy could know his baby is safe now and how brave and generous of him to think of the puppy first. I wish I could hug this little boy – and pray his father changes. Father may be overwhelmed – which is not to excuse his cruelty. ,” wrote Carolyn Gray.
And as Rene is recovering from his physical injuries and the trauma he suffered, people grew concerns for Andrés and his mother’s safety knowing they were still living with the abusive father and husband. So far, no one has any information about the family nor whether any charges against the abuser have been filed.
No child should ever experience pain or suffer from the hands of their parents. Unfortunately, for a girl named Fa, she fell victim of severe abuse by her stepfather when she was 10 years old.
When her mom discovered the horrific truth, she kicked her husband from her house, but that didn’t ease the pain and the fear Fa experienced.
The poor girl was left traumatized and the whole thing affected her mental state. Fa couldn’t eat properly and had hard time sleeping as she feared her stepfather would hurt her again. She refused to take her clothes off while showering and her mother felt helpless in helping her little girl.

Thankfully, when she needed it the most, someone special entered Fa’s life. The bikers from BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse), met Fa and offered to guard her house so that she could experience some safety and star living her life normally again. It was Tombstone, one of BACA’s members Fa grew fond of. He became her friend and now she knew she could rely on him whenever she felt helpless and scared.
This non-profit group whose main goal is to empower victimized children has helped many vulnerable kids over the years. These men resemble tough guys, but they are gentle giants who make a huge difference in the lives of many children.

Later, she spent a large amount of time on the Greek island of Mykonos where she opened a beach bar. “There’s a business side to my life now, but I’m not in America, so no one knows about it, which is nice for me. Because I get to actually focus on the result of things,” she told the New York Times.
Today, Lindsay is trying to get her old life back.
She says she deserves that because she’s worked really hard. “I’m a normal, nice person. A good person. I don’t have any bad intentions. And my past has to stay in the past. When Zoey’s grandma left town for a week, he was waiting for her to get back because he apparently missed her very much. On October 31, the world lost a legend and everyone agrees there will never be another person as charming and as talented as Sir Sean Connery.
Throughout his career, he played many prominent roles in a number of iconic movies, but it’s safe to say that he will always be best remembered as the first ever agent 007, James Bond.
Although he was famous internationally and the world was his home, he was always very proud to be a Scotsman. In his home country, Connery is considered a national treasure and he never missed a chance to speak of his heritage.
After his death, Sir Connery’s wife, Micheline Roquebrune, told Scottish Mailon Sunday how her husband’s final wish was for his ashes to be scattered in Scotland and the Bahamas. “We are going to bring Sean back to Scotland – that was his final wish.”

The actor’s family is hoping to organize a memorial service for him in Scotland as soon as the situation with the pandemic calms down. They know just how much his country meant to him and they believe they owe that to him.
“Whenever it is possible and safe to travel again, then it is the family’s intention to return to Scotland with him. We would like to organize a memorial service for him in Scotland – that is our hope. But we cannot say when this will happen exactly.”

Roquebrune opened up about Sir Connery’s last months of his life and admitted he was suffering from dementia. He died at the age of 90, in his sleep, and his wife says it was exactly how he wished to leave this world.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Roquebrune, who was married to the actor for 45 years, said, “It was no life for him. He was not able to express himself latterly. At least he died in his sleep and it was just so peaceful. I was with him all the time and he just slipped away. It was what he wanted.”

What is very interesting about it is that it’s very popular even though no episode has aired yet. Well, knowing how great comedians these two actors are, people already know they will bring a lot of laughter.
The news about the show was first released by a TV magazine and knowing how these papers sometimes only post news they only assume to be true, not many believed there will really be a reunion of the Home Improvement cast. But then Tim Allen posted a photo of the magazine on his Instagram, writing, “This is happening,” and fans went crazy.

On October 24, the police at Whatcom County, Washington, got a call about three dead bodies found in the home of 55-year-old psychologist Michele Boudreau Deegan. It was the tenant who came across the shocking sight.
Michele killed her twin daughters before she killed herself. According to reports, she planned the murder for a couple of days and gave the girls sedatives before taking their lives.
Prior to the horrific incident, Michele was involved in a harsh custody battle with her estranged husband. The outcome was a shared custody, something Michele couldn’t possibly accept. She couldn’t imagine a day without her girls by her side and the thought of them spending time with their father was unbearable, according to her friends.
Whatcom County Sheriff Bill Elfo was reported saying, “Ms. Boudreau planned this event over the course of several days prior to the discovery of the bodies. She clearly stated her suicidal ideations and that she would never leave her daughters alone without her,” according to the Daily Mail.
People close to her, who knew her very well, spoke of Michele as a gentle soul who dedicated her life to her children and to helping others. She was a psychologist who ran a private practice and helped change the life of many for the better.
The news of her murdering her two princesses came as a shock to her family and friends.
“Michelle was a wonderful woman….she HAD TO HAVE BEEN trying (in an absolutely sick, unimaginably twisted way, obviously) to ‘protect’ the girls from a life with their dad without her,” a friend of Michele named Jen Mindlin posted on Facebook. “She was a kind and warm friend, bright and empathetic, a psychologist with a local practice that helped so many people, including me, and my daughter.”
The friend continued the post by writing that Michele was in a “horrific custody battle, with a man she had a domestic violence protection order against.”
“Every time she believed her divorce was almost final, she would be dragged into a new frivolous and expensive renegotiation. She had been bankrupted by litigation, right or wrong, she worried for her girls with their dad…..(the sad irony is not lost on me)……this was a mental health tragedy, not a terrible person.”
Many of Michele’s neighbors also describe her as a devoted mother who was obviously “sick and scared.”
We are very sorry for the lives lost. These two beautiful girls had their future ahead of them and it was all taken away from them by their own mother. Rest in peace little angels.

When Brittanee Drexel was reported missing back in 2009, her case caught the attention of the whole country. The teen who was seventeen at the time of her disappearance went on vacation without her mom approving of it.
Now, years after she was last seen, authorities share devastating information of her tragic fate.
Brittanee’s headlines-grabbing case has come under the spotlight again after it was finally discovered what had really happened to her.
Weeks before she went missing, Brittanee was convincing her mother to let her spend the spring break with friends at Myrtle Beach, to which her mom said no. But Brittanee was determined to find a way to put her plan into action and told her mom she was going to stay at a friend’s house near their Rochester home, New York. Once she got approval, she headed to Myrtle Beach instead without her family knowing.
The last time she was seen, Brittanee left her friend’s hotel room and was on her way to her own.
Her case seemed to be fading away as authorities didn’t have enough information to solve it. But then out of the blue and years after it happened, a prisoner named Taquan Brown who is serving 25-year sentence for manslaughter in unrelated case came forward with information and told FBI the truth about Brittanee.
Brown confessed he had seen Brittanee at a ‘stash house’ a couple of days after she disappeared. He said she had been sexually abused before she was murdered.
The night she vanished, Brittanee was picked up by 16-year-old Da’Shaun Taylor of McClellanville. He and his friends gang raped the teen and then killed her. After they realized her case caught the attention of the whole nation and was all over the media they threw her body in a swamp teeming with alligators.
Brittanee suffered a horrible death and our thought and prayers are with her family.

Having a sibling means having a best friend for life. The bond between brothers and sisters is one of the strongest ones and growing up by their side means you will always have someone to turn to and trust no matter how hard things get.
One brother and sister proved this to be right after they prevented an evil man from kidnapping their baby brother.
22-month-old Owen Wright, eight-year-old Delicia Wright and 10-year-old Brenden Wright were having fun time running around the park near their babysitter’s home in Sprague, Washington State.
At one point, their game was interrupted by an unknown man who approached the kids and tried to engage in a conversation with them.
The oldest siblings were pretty aware that they weren’t suppose to speak to strangers, so they avoided any contact with the creepy man.
However, he wasn’t about to step back and tried to convince them how he used to be a babysitter himself and that speaking to him was fine.
Delicia and Brended could feel they might be in trouble, so they asked Owen to get into the stroller. But it was then that the man pulled the boy from his stroller and started running away carrying him in his arms.
Brave Delicia and Brended started chasing the kidnapper. They just couldn’t allow him to disappear with their little brother.
The kids struggled to keep up with the man, but the thought of losing Owen kept them going.
Sadly, they got way too tired to continue running, but quick-thinking Delicia stood in the middle of the road and started screaming as hard as she could.
Luckily, her plan of getting the attention of the passersby worked as two teenagers realized what was going on and started chasing the kidnapper.
As soon as he realized he would be caught, he dropped Owen and fled as quickly as he could. What was most important was that the toddler was saved from the hands of the crazy man.
Andrew and Isaac, the teenagers who helped in the chase, said how they knew the kidnapper. He was in fact a 15-year-old boy who attended their school.
This information was more than enough for the police to track him down and bring him to justice. Currently, he’s in juvenile detention.
After the incident, Delicia admitted that she was terrified the whole time while she was running to save her sweet brother, but that didn’t stop her from doing all she could to get him back.
If these children didn’t show bravery, who knows what would have happened to Owen.
He is one lucky boy to have siblings who love him to the moon and back and who would do anything for his well-being.

While on their little “adventure,” curious Maisie managed to reach her dad’s “hair gel.” Or at least she thought it was that. In fact, she covered her head with Superdrug Hair Removal Cream.
When their dad, Luke, noticed them, he rushed to give Maisie a shower. Well, he should have removed the cream from her hair instantly, but he believed at the time that giving her a bath was a better idea. Until she got in the bathtub, around 10 minuted had passed, and it was enough time for that cream to do its job, which is to remove hair.
Luke was shocked when he noticed that his little girl went bald after her long bangs fell off.

When Luke called his wife Kristy to tell her of their daughter’s “problem,” she had no idea how bad things were until she got home. “When I got home, I was just in pure shock. She came and gave me a cuddle and I just cried for an hour because I absolutely loved her fringe [bangs],” she told Metro News.

The story behind the group starts with McCartney and Lenon. At the time they were around 17, George Harrison was just a 15 year old boy who was completely enchanted by guitars. So when John Lenon was looking for a guitarist for his band, which was known as The Quarrymen at the time, McCartney said, “I know this guy. He’s a bit young, but he’s good.”
“When I joined, he didn’t really know how to play the guitar; he had a little guitar with three strings on it that looked like a banjo,” Harrison said of Lennon, during testimony in a court case against the owner of a bootleg Beatles’ recording in 1998, according to The Guardian.

Dhani, who is an only child, spent his childhood around his parents with whom he has been very close his whole life. He loved what his dad did and grew up at the recording studio.

Today, Dhani is completely dedicated to music. In 2001, he and friend and filmmaker Oli Hecks formed the band Thenewno2. He’s been involved in a number of music projects and performs the songs of the legendary band his dad was part of as well as the music his father created as a solo artist.
Dhani married his longtime girlfriend Solveig Karadottir eight years ago at Friar Park, outside the Harrison estate where he grew up. His dad’s band mates Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr attended the wedding and Stella McCartney, Paul’s daughter, designed the wedding gown.
