Gary Sinise gets emotional watching touching tribute from Tom Hanks and other celebs for his humanitarian work

Military’s commitment to keeping the nation safe and defending our country is acknowledged in various ways. From movies and books, to parades and political campaigns, the solders are praised by almost everyone. Actor Gary Sinise with his Gary Sinise Foundation is doing more than a good job regarding this.

Gary is known as a well-established patron in honouring the army. Various activities have been done by his foundation that prove this. His support is going even practical – the financial support that is given to our defenders is an enormous positive side of the foundation’s dedication in achieving its goals. However, the latest completed project by Gary Sinise is his book Grateful American. The book’s official release was set on 12 February, and Gary was more than pleasantly surprised on that day.

A lot of close friends and actors came together and thanked Gary for the work he is doing. In addition to these, the video featured many veterans who have personally felt Gary’s support. This unexpected surprise left Gary stunned, especially after he hearing his colleagues’ comments:

“Your commitment, your dedication, you are awesome,” Ron Howard said.

“You motivate other people,” Tim Allen added.

The video ends with Tom Hanks’ “Thanks, Lieutenant Dan!”

These kind words melted Sinise’s heart. One veteran, for example, was given the surprise of a lifetime when he received a ‘smart house,’ specially designed for disabled people. His gratitude for this donation is enormous and he says:

“As you can see we’re in front of this beautiful house right now, We wouldn’t have had it were it not for your kindness, graciousness and your wonderful gift of giving.”

However, if is wasn’t for Robin Rand’s initiation, the Foundation’s CEO, this video would not have been recorded. His idea of thanking Gary in a visual way surprised him and warmed our hearts.

Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Ron Howard are not the only well-known people in the video, but also: Colin Powell, Robert De Niro, Robin Roberts, Steve Buscemi, Jay Leno, Judd Apatow, Maria Shriver, Mayim Bialik, Rob Lowe, Kristin Chenoweth, Joe Mantegna, Sela Ward, Aaron Eckhart Richard Rawlings, Patricia Heaton, Jeff Perry, Iliza Shlesinger, Kellie Pickler, Donal Logue and Drew Dix.

Regarding his work, Gary says:

“We must do all we can to extend our hand in times of need to those who willingly sacrifice each day to provide that freedom and security. While we can never do enough to show gratitude to our nation’s defenders, we can always do a little more.”

People should know how we can acknowledge military’s commitment for keeping the country safe. Share this incredibly touching video and spread the idea!

It doesn’t come as a surprise that Sinise was in tears of joy. This is something you don’t want to miss.

2-year-old finally has “Batman” birthmark removed after groundbreaking surgery

Having a child is what most couples dream of, and the only think they wish for is for their bundle of joy to be born healthy.

Carol Fenner and her husband were no exception. None of the ultrasounds Carol had during her pregnancy showed any signs of abnormality with the baby, and yet, when sweet Luna Tavares-Fenne was welcomed into the world, her parents were in a state of shock. Luna’s face was covered in a huge birthmark which resembled Batman’s mask.

“I’m used to it now, but then I was just shocked,” Carol told WPLG in 2019. The parents were extremely concerned for their daughter’s well-being. During the fist week of Luna’s life, they had no idea how serious her condition was because doctors were still running a bunch of tests. It was determined that Luna was born with a very rare skin condition called congenital melanocytic nevus which imposed danger to the girl in the future because it increased the risk of skin cancer.

The family was advised to get Luna the much needed treatment which included a number of surgeries, at least six. The problem was that each of those surgeries cost $40,000, money the family didn’t have.

Carol and her husband, who live in Florida, took Luna to various doctors in New York, Boston, Chicago. They truly wanted Luna to get those surgeries before she starts school in order to avoid being teased because of her looks.

Carol never tried hiding her daughter from the world. On the contrary, she posted a number of photos of Luna on Instagram in order to raise awareness of her condition. This decision turned out to be the best one she could ever make because Luna’s Instagram profile caught the attention of surgeon-oncologist Dr. Pavel Borisovich Popov from Russia. He offered a surgery which wasn’t available in the United States, and Carol decided to meet him in person.

The surgery cost $70,000, money raised with the help of kindhearted people from all over the country.

“Everybody thinks I’m crazy to go to Russia, but I have done a lot of research and gained advice from several doctors and I really think that this is the best option for Luna right now,” Carol told SWNS in 2019.

During the last two years, the family went to Russia numerous times, and despite the ongoing pandemic, they made sure they traveled to Krasnodar each time they were told to.

Dr. Popov spoke of Luna’s recovery and told East2West News, ”We only had six operations to remove the nevus and have succeeded in making it disappear. Luna has already started speaking and she says herself: ‘My black spot has gone. I am a princess.’”

So far, the medical part is done. “We are letting Luna rest from the treatment she has undergone and then we will undertake the aesthetic surgeries. Later we aim to make sure Luna will not have any complexes when she comes to the age where she is concerned about her appearance,” Dr. Popov explained.

Until today, Luna underwent a number of surgeries, and a couple of days ago, Carol shared a photo of her daughter after all those procedures. The girl is very happy, as well as her parents.

“I don’t regret at all having the treatment here. Luna doesn’t feel the pain. She dances a few hours after the surgery,” Carol said, according to The Daily Mail.

Recently, Luna traveled to Brazil to spend Christmas with her mom’s family, as Carol is originally from there.

After Christmas, Luna would need to go to Russia again, to receive more treatments.

We are so happy everything is going to the right direction for this lovely family. As for Luna, she looks very beautiful and is satisfied with the progress.

10-year-old helps deliver his own baby brother after mom goes into labor at home

When one’s life is in the hands of a 10-year-old, things don’t seem promising. But if that 10-year-old is as calm and as quick-thinking as Jayden Fontenot from Louisiana, that’s a totally different story.

Jayden’s mother, Ashly Moreau, was 34 weeks pregnant. One Friday morning, she felt the urge to use the bathroom, but little did she know that the process of giving birth would start at that very moment.

All of a sudden, her water broke and the baby’s feet could be seen hanging out. Ashly was petrified. She had no idea what to do, and knowing she was home only with her 10-year-old son and her 11-month-old daughter didn’t put her at ease.

Ashly, however, had no idea Jayden would save her life and that of his little brother.

Source: YouTube/ KPRC 2 Click2Houston

She called him and he rushed to the bathroom. To her surprise, Jayden remained cool-headed and ran to his grandma’s house to call the police. He then went back home and asked his mother what he needed to do.

The baby’s feet were purple and Ashly was aware they were running out of time. The baby needed to be delivered as soon as possible, otherwise, they could both die.

Ashly used the remaining strength to push as hard as she could as Jayden pulled the baby out. But it wasn’t breathing.

Jayden didn’t panic. Instead, he went to the kitchen and got the nasal aspirator in order to clear his baby brother’s airways.

Source: YouTube/ KPRC 2 Click2Houston

As soon as the little one started crying, emergency arrived and took the baby and the mother to the hospital. They were both fine all thanks to brave Jayden.

Ashly’s fiancé, Kelsey Richard, was out at work at the time his son was born. When he heard what Jayden did, he was in complete shock. “You don’t hear about stuff like this. It’s amazing how brave and everything he was … calm, collective. He saved their lives, he’s a hero,” he shared with KPRC 2.

Source: YouTube/ KPRC 2 Click2Houston

It’s incredible how calm and grounded Jayden remained during his brother’s delivery. He was aware his mother’s and brother’s lives were in his hands and he did what he needed to do in order to save them.

We are sure that when the baby grows older he would love and look up to his older brother.

Once the story of Jayden’s heroism went viral, people praised his act. “Angels come in all shapes and sizes, that young boy right there is an angel,” one person wrote.

Well, we can’t agree more.

Robert Redford’s daughter, Amy Redford, is following into her famous dad’s footsteps and looks stunning

Thinking of all the celebrities whose lives seem to be all about glamour, fame, and money, we tend to believe that they had never had it difficult in their life. The truth is that most of them had to work really hard for what they have today. Legendary actor Robert Redford is one of them.

He was born on August 18, 1936, in Santa Monica, California, to a father who worked as a milk man and later an accountant, and a mother who was truly interested in film and literature and who would install the love and passion for both at young Redford.

Shutterstock

However, the greatest passion of Redford during his young days was that of drawing. He was into it so much that he would draw during his lessons at school, something that could easily get him into trouble if it wasn’t for a very special teacher.

“‘Mr Redford, why don’t you bring that up and show us what’s more important?’” Redford recalled his teacher saying during an occasion.

“Instead of burning me, she said, ‘I’ll make a deal with you. We’re gonna put an easel here. Every Wednesday, we’re gonna give you 15 minutes to draw a story, but then you have to promise to pay attention.’ That’s what saved me,” he told Esquire.

Shutterstock

As a young man, he found it difficult to keep a job. It was mostly because he wasn’t interested in doing something that didn’t fulfill him. Instead, he was interested in arts, something his father considered not to be “a real job.”

“It wasn’t his fault. I needed to get out of there. I needed to get to a clean, empty space because that house was occupied by thoughts that I didn’t share,” Redford explained.

“When I came out and looked like somebody who was gonna be freewheeling, it made him nervous. He thought, ‘He won’t survive that.’ That was the tension. He wanted me to be secure, to go to Stanford. I was lucky to get to Boulder, Colorado.”

Youtube/Movieclips

At the age of 20, Redford married Lola Van Wagenan and the two moved to New York City.

Shortly after, they welcomed son Scott in their lives. Unfortunately, he passed away at only five months old due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. This broke Redford’s heart. He could barely cope with the pain and decided to pour his heartbreak into acting. Redford suffered another huge loss in 2020 when his son James died of liver cancer.

At the time his firstborn son died, Redford was attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and switched from design to acting. After his enormous success with the movie Barefoot in the Park, 1963, his career bloomed. What followed was a movie that practically marked not only his professional life, but his personal life, too. Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid helped Redford make a name for himself and cement his place in the movie industry.

Youtube/Movieclips

During the filming of that iconic film, he made friends with another actor who is up until this day considered the best of the best, Paul Newman. Their genuine friendship lasted until Newman’s death in 2008.

“We had a lot of fun together,” Redford said of Newman. “We played a lot of jokes on each other, and just had a good time.”

However, it’s not only Redford who acknowledges the influence Newman had on his career, but Redford’s daughter Amy, too. “In many ways, he set a high standard for my dad to walk into fame, with dignity and responsibility,” she said. “They held each other to that standard. Without that, I think it would have been harder for him to find his tether.”

Youtube/SundanceTV

Amy is following into her father’s footsteps. She appeared in a number of shows, including Sex and the City, The Sopranos and Law and Order. However, she found her love with directing, just like her father, whose director skills were awarded with an Oscar for the film Ordinary People.

“As a kid I witnessed the process of my dad making films and the extraordinary cast of characters that came together to make it happen,” Amy Redford told IndieWire.

“I found myself drawn to the nomadic and creative life that that implied. I have explored many different areas of the industry, including acting, and knew that I ultimately wanted to begin directing. What led me to actually having the opportunity to do it was a combination of luck, timing, and stubbornness.”

Youtube/GuyWheatley

Her first film, The Guitar, had its screening at the Sundance Film Festival, which has been founded by Robert Redford and takes place every year in Park City, Utah.

Amy is married and a mother of daughter Eden. Currently, according to IMBD, she’s not too involved in the business.

Single mother took the risk, built a tiny home, and now lives on only $75 per month

Living in a mansion or a multiple-bedroom home is what many people dream of. However, there are also those who are satisfied with a tiny but cozy place to live. In fact, nowadays, most people tend to rent or purchase smaller homes because that way they can reduce the costs of living, such as rent or mortgage payments, electricity bills, and more.

Michelle “MJ” Boyle is a single mother of two. Almost all her life, or at least while she was raising her kids, she had a hard time making ends meet. MJ didn’t have any retirement money or a retirement plan because she was spending $1,600 a month on rent only.

Source: YouTube Screenshot/ FLORB

Once her kids grew older and attended college, she decided she needed a change. Why would she pay that much money for a home she would use all by herself when she could invest in a tiny home?

Speaking of what made her reach a decision to built her tiny “empty nest,” MJ said, “My life has been a series of unfortunate events. I have been divorced twice. I have built two houses and I lost the houses basically in the carnage of my divorces.”

Source: YouTube Screenshot/ FLORB

Today, not only she possesses a lovely home but she generates income too.

“I built my first house, this house, basically using cash and sponsorships to make sure that I have a paid-for nice, comfortable house when I retire. Now I’m building a few more tiny houses that I look forward to renting like on Airbnb or a try it tiny or other VRBO kind of platforms and create some income so, that’s next.”

MJ joined the Tiny House Movement, an architectural and social movement that encourages more people to live a simpler life in a smaller space.

Tiny house living has helped many reduce their monthly expenses and even start saving for their retirement.

What is best about MJ’s place is that she decorated it all by herself. She used her imagination and creativity and created something truly special. Each part of her home is furnished with a lot of love and attention.

“She is an embodiment of grit and resilience. Don’t need to read a book about it. She’s living it,” one viewer wrote.

Today, MJ’s expenses are around $75 a month. She took the risk, and she’s now happier than ever when it comes to her housing.

Teacher gets call from student’s parents who beg her to take their unborn baby – The following day, the mother goes into labor

The following story restores faith in humanity.

Marvin and Zully Flores, Guatemalan asylum seekers living in Stamford, Connecticut, found themselves in an unenviable situation. Zully was pregnant and about to give birth to a premature baby while battling COVID-19. The family’s financial situation was also bad because they lost their jobs due to the ongoing pandemic. With no family by their side and no one to turn to, Zully decided to contact her 7-year-old son’s school teacher, Luciana Lira, 42.

When Lira got a call from her student Junior Flores’ mother, she didn’t know what to expect. “‘Miss Lira?’ Zully whispered in Spanish. ‘I need help.’”

According to ABC7, “The family reportedly told Lira there was no one in the country who could help them and had listed her as their emergency contact.”

Source: Facebook

Sill unaware of what the family would ask from her, Lira listened carefully. Zully then explained how she had COVID-19, and her husband and son were probably infected as well. She then gave Lira Marvin’s phone number and asked her to call him so that he could explain what was going on in more detail.

The father explained how they were all concerned for the baby’s well being, having in mind the fact they had the virus, so he asked if Lira could take care of the little bundle of joy until his mother feels better.

According to The Hartford Courant reports, “At the time, Lira wouldn’t have known Marvin if she walked into him. Her only contact with him was seeing him in the distance on parent-teacher conference night, waving hello.”

Except for the fact she was their son’s teacher, Lira wasn’t in any other way related to the family. She wasn’t even close to them, yet, she was the closest thing to a family they had.

Source: KMOV4

Although it seemed like a huge deal at first, Lira simply couldn’t say no to the Flores family.

When the baby was born, Marvin and Junior was told they did have the virus, so they proceeded with the plan to give the little one to Lira.

“All he could do is cry. And cry. And cry,” Lira said of baby Neysel who was born prematurely and was just five days old when she took him home from the hospital. “He said, ‘She was five weeks early. I’m just terrified. I don’t know what’s going on in my life.’”

Being bilingual, Lira also helped the family communicate with the doctors at the hospital.

This kindhearted teacher, along with her husband Alex, organized a GoFundMe page to help the Flores family.

Zully was critical at one point and doctors feared for her life, but she’s now home recovering. However, her baby is still not by her side because she’s still unable to take care of him, but she watches her precious jewel via Zoom. We hope she will be able to take Neysel home as soon as possible.

Source: KMOV4

One of Lira’s friends, Joy Colon, wrote on Facebook:

“This unselfish act reminds us that our humanity makes us all essential … to each other. How will each of us respond when we are asked to simply show up and help. The nurses at the hospital asked my friend if she was the mother’s sister, or perhaps, a cousin as she was listed as the primary contact, Luciana Lira responded, ‘I’m just a teacher.’”

Well, to the Flores family, Lira is more than “just a teacher,” for them, she’s family.

It is true when they say that “it takes a village to raise a child,” don’t you agree?

Terry Bradshaw has earned millions but he never let the fame change him

Terry Bradshaw, one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, is until this day loved by many for everything he gave to the world of football. Despite being famous, Bradshaw is a very grounded man with a heart of gold.

Born in 1948 in Shreveport, Louisiana, to parents who taught him and raised him right, he got interested in football from very early age.

”That’s all you heard out of that child – football, football and that’s all he did. I mean from little up. That’s all he ever did. He had a football in his hand,” his mother Novis explained in 1989.

”There was not anything ever given to him. He had to work and he did and he was determined that ’I’m gonna do it’. Because he wanted it so bad.”

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw, 1970

People became aware of how great of a player he was shortly after he attended Woodlawn High School. He became the leader of the Woodlawn Knights football team and ended the season with 22 touchdown passes. During this period of his life, Bradshaw broke yet another record, he threw the javelin 245 feet (74.68 m), and got featured in Sports Illustrated where he was described as a promising young player.

After high school, Bradshaw attended Louisiana Tech University. ”I didn’t want to go to LSU,” he said back then. “They didn’t throw the football. They do this year, right? But they never had thrown it. Matter of fact, I’ve always said they haven’t had a great quarterback ever. Even when they had Bert Jones, they didn’t use him properly.”

His incredible talent made him the first pick in the 1970 NFL Draft. Pittsburgh Steelers got to pick first and they never hesitated when they chose Bradshaw to be in their team. Well, the rest is history. He helped them rise from the bottom and win four Super Bowl finals. However, not everything went smooth for him during the first years in the NFL.

”You have to understand, now, I’m a momma’s boy. I’m from the south. My way of being raised is totally different than the big city life. I truly was a country boy,” Bradshaw recalled in an interview with CBN.

His opponents said he was dumb, with former Cowboys linebacker Thomas “Hollywood” Henderson once saying, “Bradshaw’s so dumb he couldn’t spell cat if you spotted him the ‘c’ and the ‘t.’”

”And I was just a good old Southern kid. I was a nice guy, but, if you talked like this – and I threw a lot of interceptions my rookie year. And this one guy said, ‘well, he can’t read defenses, so therefore he’s got to be stupid.’ The image thing hurt. I didn’t trust people. I didn’t like ‘em. I didn’t like ‘em, I didn’t like going around the city. I don’t like stickin’ my head out. People weren’t nice to me and I understand that. But, at the same time, when we did start winning, Scott, I never allowed myself to be accepted because I remember how painful it was for five years,” Bradshaw told Scott Ross in Fox network’s NFL Sunday program.

With the help of Bradshaw, Pittsburgh Steelers won four Super Bowl titles. His first Super Bowl victory was in Super Bowl IX, followed by Super Bowl X, Super Bowl XIII, and Super Bowl XIV. During that game, Bradshaw had a 64-yard touchdown pass and was hailed as the “greatest throw of all time” by the NFL.

In late 1983, Bradshaw retired from NFL.

In 1984, he switched careers and became a sportscaster. Even during his career as a player, he was often a guest commentator for CBS Sports, so becoming a game analyst didn’t come as a surprise. In 1995, he joined Fox Sports, and in 2002, he was voted America’s Favorite Sportscaster in a TV Guide Reader’s Poll.

Besides being one of the best players in the NFL history, Bradshaw appeared in commercials and films and even has his own show on E!, The Bradshaw Bunch.

Having in mind his impact in the world of football, one would think that he has earned huge amounts of money throughout the years. According to Celebrity Net Worth, he has a net worth of $25 million, which isn’t a lot compared to what football players are paid nowadays.

“I signed with Pittsburgh for $25,000 rookie year, $5,000 raise next year, and $100,000 signing bonus spread out over 10 years. Compare that to today, and you say to yourself, ‘They’re paying that guy $135 million, and he ain’t worth three and a half!’” Terry once said in an interview with Parade.

His annual salary as a sports broadcaster is $1 million a year, which again, compared to what others in the field make, isn’t much. CBS’ Romo, for example, is paid $17 million a year, according to journalist Andrew Marchand.

When it comes to his private life, the NFL icon was married four times and has two daughters.

He remains one of America’s sweethearts, especially because he never let fame change him a great deal. He is described as humble and grounded by those close to him, and a recent event involving him proves that to be true.

Namely, someone had a hard time starting the vehicle when Bradshaw noticed them and stepped in. When he managed to start the vehicle, Bradshaw shouted “touchdown,” and the driver, who didn’t recognize the NFL legend, watched in confusion.

“He had no idea who was helping him until he came in the store to use the computer and we told him,” Cindy Hurt Hammer, who filmed the sweet moment, told NBC 5.

Terry Bradshaw is an icon and that’s something we call agree on.

Abby and Brittany Hensel: The world’s most famous conjoined twins are now 5th grade teachers

Abby and Brittany Hensel are the world’s most famous conjoined twins. When they were born on March 7, 1990, their parents were left in complete shock. They were expecting one child only and everything seemed fine until two heads popped up during delivery.

Once the girls were out, everyone stood silent for 30 seconds, Dr. Joy Westerdahl explained.

“They had a pretty crude way of telling me,” father Mike Hensel recalled speaking to Content. “They said, ‘They’ve got one body and two heads.’” The girls’ mother, Patty, who was still under sedation and only heard the word “Siamese” asked in confusion, “I had cats?”

The girls were transported to another hospital where doctors determined that despite their condition they were perfectly healthy.

Source: Youtube/Documeaning

According to statistics, conjoined twins don’t even get to be born, and in case they are, most of them die on the first day of their life. Abby and Brittany, however, beat the odds.

During the first days of their lives, they had undergone a surgery through which doctors removed a third arm between their heads. A separation surgery was offered to the parents, but they refused one, because the chances of survival were extremely small and in case they pulled through, the girls would have been left severely disabled and they would never get a chance to play football, or drive a car, something they do today.

Source: Youtube/Documeaning

Abby and Brittany have two hearts, two stomachs, three kidneys, and four lungs – two of which are connected. They share one liver, one chest, intestines, one bladder, and have single reproductive organs.

Their nervous system is partially separated, so they experience separate feelings of hunger, as well as separate urges to urinate and sleep.

The girls became famous worldwide after appearing in an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show at the age of 6. Ever since, all eyes were on them. Eventually, they got their own show on TLC through which they presented the world what their lives as conjoined twins looked like.

Source: Youtube/Documeaning

Besides living as one person, the girls are complete opposites. They have different characters, different desires and dreams. While Abby wanted to be a dentist, her sister wished to become a pilot one day.

“It’s gonna be kind of hard in the cockpit when one’s flying and the other one’s working on someone’s teeth,” their father Mike joked. “They are already asking if they might someday find a husband. They’re good-looking girls, they’re witty, they’ve got everything going for them, except… they’re together.”

When they turned 16, the girls got their driver’s license. “Abby does the pedals and the gear shifter,” Brittany told the Daily Mail at the time. “I take over the blinkers and the lights. But she likes driving faster than me.”

Of course, just any other girl out there, Abby and Brittany dream of getting married and even have children one day.

“The whole world doesn’t need to know who we are seeing, what we are doing, and when we are going to do it,” Brittany said. “But believe me, we are totally different people.”

“Yeah, we are going to be mums one day, but we don’t want to talk about how it’s going to work yet,” Abby added.

Source: Youtube/nakedstories

After graduation, these girls found a job as 5th grade teachers at Sunnyside Elementary school, Minnesota.

However, although they both have licenses, they receive a single salary.

“Obviously right away we understand that we are going to get one salary because we’re doing the job of one person,” Abby told BBC. “As maybe experience comes in we’d like to negotiate a little bit, considering we have two degrees and because we are able to give two different perspectives or teach in two different ways.”

“One can be teaching and one can be monitoring and answering questions,” Brittany added. “So in that sense, we can do more than one person.”

Speaking of hiring conjoined twins, the school supervisor Gerri said, “We had concerns about the student would respond because it’s such a unique and special situation. It was really important for us to give the students that exposure visually and we had an open Q&A for them.”

School principal, Mr. Moberg added: “I would not hesitate in a minute to put them in a classroom. and hire them. There’s no question in my mind that they will change the world for the better and influence lives in a way, as an individual as myself, would never be able to do.”

These twins lead fulfilling lives and are happy the way they are.

How Victoria Principal, who played Pamela Barnes Ewing in “Dallas,” looks at 72 will make you gasp

The iconic role of Pamela Barnes Ewing earned actress Victoria Principal worldwide fame as Dallas turned one of the most successful primetime soap operas in TV history.

Victoria was born on January 3, 1950, in Japan. Her father was a United States Air Force Sergeant stationed in the city of Fukuoka at the time of her birth, and she spent the first couple of months of her life living there. During her childhood, Victoria changed 17 schools due to her family moving from place to place.

She first appeared on TV, in a commercial, at the age of five, but it’s not like she believed acting would become her calling.

Source: Facebook / Victoria Principal

Speaking of her childhood, rumors are she didn’t have an easy one. The reason for that was her turbulent relationship with her mother. In an interview with Huffington Post in 2012, the actress said: ”I wish I had known my childhood would end.” However, she was also reported to have said during an occasion: ”I was very lucky. My parents raised me in such a way that it never occurred to me that I wasn’t equal.”

When it came to choosing a career, Victoria decided she wanted to become a doctor, and she was on the way to make her dream come true, but just as she was about to finish her first year of studies, she was involved in a car crash and got heavily injured. She was forced to take some time to heal, and sadly, she missed a lot at college and was forced to retake her first year from the start. Something she wasn’t willing to do at the time.

One of her first roles in film was that of the mistress of Roy Bean, the main character of The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean portrayed by Paul Newman. This role earned her a Golden Globe nomination for best newcomer.

As she got more offers, Victoria realized that acting was time-consuming and very tiring, so she decided to move on and started working as a talent agent.

However, around two years later, she got the role of Pamela Barnes Ewing.

Speaking of the time, she recalled: ”I had left acting to be an agent and was on my way to law school, but when a friend dropped off a Dallas script, I read it. When I finished, I knew my life had changed – that part was mine. So I called the [casting] person and said, ‘I’m sending someone in.’ She said, ‘Who?’ I said, ‘Just put down my name. It will be a surprise.’ And it certainly was a surprise – I showed up with me! I sent myself in for it!”

The series turned up to be a huge hit which put Victoria on the pedestal. When Dallas premiered, she was 28 years old. For her part, she was nominated for a Golden Globe and two Soap Opera Digest Awards.

Then, in 1987, Victoria left the series. Speculations of why she stepped down were many. “A lot of work has gone into keeping Victoria Principal separate from Pam Ewing. To stay on the show any longer would really seal my fate in the industry,” she told New York Times in 1987.

Victoria was married twice. Both her marriages ended with divorce. Although she doesn’t have children on her own, she is very close to the son and daughter of her second husband’s previous marriage.

When she moved on from Dallas, she founded her skincare company, Principal Secret, which turned into an empire with a yearly revenue of $1.5 billion. According to reports, the actress’ net worth is $350 million.

However, after years of being the head of the company, she decided to step back and focus on her foundation, The Victoria Principal Foundation for Thoughtful Existence. ”I continue to be passionately dedicated to running my skincare company, Principal Secret. We are about to celebrate 27 years in business. And I have never forgotten that Dallas gave me the springboard to achieve so many of my dreams,” she told TV Insider in 2018.

Today, the actress is 72 years old and looks as beautiful and as charming as ever. She’s very active on the social media where she shares photos of herself and the animals she is helping as well as old photos from the time she was filming the series that changed her life forever.

Woman who never knew she had a sister meets her after long 73 years

Unintended or unwanted pregnancies happen way more often than we realize. When young people learn they are expecting a baby, it sometimes feel like their world turns upside down. Considering their age, many feel they are not ready to be parents, so no matter how hard it is, most of the time, they either choose not to have the baby or put the little soul up for adoption once it is welcomed into the world.

When one young couple learned they were expecting a baby daughter, they chose to provide a better future for her by giving her up. Some three years later, they welcomed another child, a girl again, whom they named Linda.

Linda grew up with her family in Lakewood, Colorado, but she was never told about her sister. She spent most her life believing she was the only child.

But as we all know, God works in mysterious ways, and fate brought the two sisters together after long 73 years.

As it turned out, Linda was curious to learn whether she had any family she was unaware of so she decided to sign up for ancestry.com. At that point, her parents were long gone and carried the secret of their first born in their graves. At the same time, a woman named Harriet Carter, who resided in California, signed up for the site as well.

Shortly after, they both learned that there was someone out there who was 100% their match. Both Linda and Harried were left completely puzzled. How was it possible to have a sibling neither of them knew of?

“I had a message from Harriet saying, ‘I think we might be related,’” Linda told Denver 7. “We were 100% match, but our parents never told a soul ever.”

The two got in touch and realized they were indeed long lost sisters.

Finally, after speaking on the phone for some time, they arranged to meet each other on a Tuesday in December. When Harriet arrived in Lakewood, the two sisters immediately recognized each other.

“I can’t quit staring at you,” Linda said and showed Harriet some family photos she brought with her. “This picture is sad because you’re not in it,” she said.

Luckily, despite the ongoing pandemic, the two were able to spend some quality time together.

“I think we found each other when we were supposed to,” Linda said.

We are so glad these sisters found each other after so many years. Their reunion was touching to the core.

8-year-old boy rescues dad with the help of angels after car falls on him

Sometimes, there are things that happen in a person’s life which can’t be explained by the laws of science or nature. These things are dubbed miraculous, because there is no other explanation of why or how they happen.

Not many people believe in miracles, though, but stories like the following can easily make them change their mind.

8-year-old boy named J.T. Parker was working on the car at the garage together with his older brother Mason and his father Stephen Parker. Mason hurt himself and entered inside the house for first aid while J.T. and his dad continued working.

Speaking to East Idaho News, Stephen explained what was going on before a tragedy struck.

“We were pulling the engine out of the car, and after we got it jacked up, I climbed under there to take the axels off,” the father said. “The one axle came off pretty easily, but the other side wasn’t coming off.”

That’s when Stephen made a wrong decision to jostle the second axle. Unfortunately, the vehicle slammed into him and he ended up underneath it.

Source: YouTube/ East Idaho News

Stephen was unable to move as the car pressed his chest. He knew there was no way out because the only person around was J.T. who was way too young to be able to jack the vehicle.

“I yelled to J.T. on the other side of the car, ‘Jack it up quick! Jack it up quick!’” Stephen told East Idaho News.

“I couldn’t move at all. I was totally trapped, and then I passed out. It was all in his hands, and I thought, ‘This is it.’ There’s no way he can jack up this car because it took my 17-year-old son and I both to jack it up the first time.”

Source: YouTube/ East Idaho News

J.T., although weighting just 50 pounds, started jumping on the jack handle until the car started lifting off of his father. “It was scary, and I didn’t think that I could jack the car up, but I just kept on trying,” J.T. recalled.

When the car was lifted a bit, J.T. rushed inside the house to call his brother. They called the ambulance and Stephen, who passed out at that point, was rushed to the hospital. He ended up with 13 broken ribs, but had it not been for J.T., things could have easily ended up with a tragedy.

Source: YouTube/ East Idaho News

The young boy still doesn’t know how he managed to lift the car and says angels were by his side when he struggled to save his father’s life.

“This whole thing is a miracle. There’s no other way to describe it,” J.T.’s mother Jodi Parker said.

After Stephen was sent home, they filmed J.T. trying to jack up the car once again, but this time, he wasn’t able to do it.

We are glad everything turned out for the best.

Boy with Down Syndrome doesn’t know his military dad returns home and stands behind him

Military men and women deserve all the respect for everything they do for each and every one of us. They miss on so much while they are deployed in a far-away countries, but at the end of the day, they are aware that it is their sacrifice that helps protect the country and its people.

The best thing about deployment is returning home to your family and friends. These reunions are always very touching.

Tech Sgt John Grieten spent 6 months in South West Asia. When the time came for him to return home he wanted to give his two children the ultimate surprise, so he decided to visit them at school without them being aware of it.

Grieten’s 15-year-old son, Joshua, has Down Syndrome. He is very close to his father whom he missed dearly. One day, while at the school canteen, Grieten stood behind his son for a couple of seconds before he approached and asked if the seat next to him was taken. Joshua couldn’t hide his excitement. He was so happy that he felt the urge to tell everyone that the brave military man was his dad. “Everybody, this is my Dad!” he told the crowd.

However, the surprise wasn’t over yet. The proud dad went on to greet his daughter. Just as her brother, Jessica, 11, leaped into her daddy’s arms.

This is cute beyond words and so worth watching and sharing with your friends. Check it out below.

Woman meets her biological dad after 35 years – He had no idea she existed

A young woman named Alicia, 35, has always wondered what her biological father looked like. She didn’t resemble anyone in her family and she has always dreamed of meeting him one day.

The story of how Alicia’s mom and dad met goes way back. He and some friends took a trip to Micronesia, the island of Guam, where Alicia’s mother who served in the Navy was stationed. The two had some fun time together before he left home to America. Soon after, she realized she was pregnant, but there was no way to reach him. She didn’t know much about him, but despite that, she decided to give birth to the baby she carried.

Facebook/Alicia Warren

Over the years, Alicia’s curiosity grew bigger and bigger. She truly wanted to meet her father, who didn’t even know she existed. She though that signing up for 23andMe, which offers DNA testing with the most comprehensive ancestry breakdown, personalized health insights and more, was a good start. She first signed back in 2018, but there was no data there of anyone sharing her DNA. It wasn’t until February 2020 that Alicia decided to check the site again. To her surprise there was someone who shared 50% of her DNA. Could that be the father she was longing to meet for so many years?

Facebook/Alicia Warren

“I knew I had to send a message knowing the interaction could be good or bad. I was so scared. I feared rejection. This had to be a hard pill to swallow. What if he had a family, what if he already had kids. This is information that could ruin lives and families. I drafted a message. It had to be perfect. I sent it to several friends who helped me edit it. I sent it. And then I waited. It was a LONG wait,” Alicia recalled.

“Nearly 24 hours later he responded. HE RESPONDED. I couldn’t believe it. As you could imagine, he was puzzled and wanted to understand how this could be. ‘I’ve been hiding in plain sight,’ he said. I could appreciate his reaction. After all, I had known about him for years and he had just found out about me a couple of weeks ago. He wanted to know where I was born and who my mom was to try and solve this mystery for him.”

Facebook/Alicia Warren

Alicia explained everything to him and he was as eager to meet her as she was. They spoke on FaceTime regularly before they were finally able to meet in person in July 2020.

“This experience has been more than my wildest dreams could have imagined. I’ve been welcomed into their family and community, with the widest open arms. During our very first phone conversation I was posed this question, ‘What are you looking for out of this?’ And my answer was as sincere and raw as it could be. ‘I honestly would just like to get to know you and maybe have a relationship with you and maybe your family. But if that’s not something that you’re interested in or comfortable with, I completely understand. I know how sensitive this is for all involved. I’m just thankful you’ve given me the opportunity to talk to you,’” Alicia explained.

“He did just that. He gave me a chance. He gave me an opportunity to get to know him and then he opened his heart and his home and allowed me to get to know the rest of his family. And for that opportunity, I will be forever grateful.”

We are so happy these father and daughter met after such a long time. We wish they stay close because they have already missed out on a lot of things.

Minutes before wedding, bride grabs groom’s shaky hand and realizes the truth about the man she’s marrying

Marriage is all about love, commitment, and accepting the person you have chosen to spend your life with with all their virtues and flaws. I believe that when we come across our soulmate, we can feel that in a way that is hard to be explained. It’s simply a gut feeling.

However, we can never be sure if our future with that person would be the way we have imagined it. Many times, we ask ourselves if we made the right choice and whether everything would turn for the best.

A woman named Maggie was about to exchange her wedding vows with the man of her life, Caleb Earwood. What she didn’t know, however, was that she would learn something very deep and personal about him moments before she walked down the aisle. A photo of her wedding day, which was captured by wedding photographer Dwayne Schmidt, has gone viral after it was released over Memorial Day weekend. The story behind it has gone from ‘Good Morning America’, ‘Fox and Friends,’ all the way to ‘Today Show’ and beyond.

Dwayne Schmidt Photography

As she was about to take that special walk towards the aisle, Maggie’s future husband felt the urge to say a prayer with her. They respected the wedding tradition and refrained from looking at one another before the marriage ceremony. They faced away from each other with their eyes closed while grasping hands. In that moment, Caleb asked for God’s blessing over their marriage.

Looking at the soon-to-be husband and wife sharing such an emotional and personal moment, photographer Schmidt knew he needed to take a photo of it. He could barely keep his composure amid the weepy eyes and overwhelming love that poured out into the room.

“We were about to take our first steps in life together, and we didn’t want to take a step without it being in God’s will,” Caleb Earwood said in an interview with TODAY. “I prayed to God for my beautiful and intelligent wife that he blessed me with, and the amazing family I was marrying into.”

Dwayne Schmidt Photography

The moment Maggie grabbed her future husband’s hand, she knew exactly what type of marriage she was in for. She felt fortunate.

“When I first grabbed his hand, he was shaking really bad, so I knew he was really nervous,” Maggie recalled. “It relieved me to know the person I was getting ready to marry felt the same way about God.”

The photo of Maggie and Caleb touched many hearts. It reminded us that we should never settle for anything less than what these two have.

We are very happy for them and wish them only the best life can bring.

The eighth child of actor Clint Eastwood whom he met after 34 years

Clint Eastwood is one of the most prominent Hollywood actors who has been under the spotlight ever since he first appeared on the screen. His contribution to the film industry is enormous and most of his performances are until this day considered iconic. Over the course of his career, Eastwood won a number of awards, including four Academy Awards (out of 11 nominations), and four Golden Globes (out of 13 nominations). Some of his most legendary roles are those in Dirty HarryAmerican Sniper, and Million Dollar Baby.

Eastwood has eight children with six different women, but it was only in the premiere of his movie The Mule in 2018 that he appeared with all of them.

Besides being famous for his incredible acting talent, Eastwood is also known as a womanizer.

According to some tabloids, it was back in 1953 when the actor had a brief affair with a Seattle woman while engaged to Margaret Johnson, a young U.C. Berkley student. The woman got pregnant but since she and Eastwood put a stop to their affair, she decided to give her baby daughter for adoption. The baby, who was named Laurie by her adoptive parents, grew up and became curious about her origin. She wanted to learn who her biological parents were and that led her to the famous actor.

After 34 years, Eastwood learned he had another daughter. He and Laurie have been very close since the moment they learned of one another. He even invited her to the 2004 Oscars with him where she was spotted holding Eastwood’s mother Ruth Wood arm-in-arm. No one really knows why, but it wasn’t until 2018 that Laurie caught the attention of the tabloids and magazines.

One of the actor’s friends told the Daily Mail: “We always wondered why it was never really widely known or widely acknowledged before. He took Laurie to the Oscars around the time that he was nominated for Mystic River with his mom and Dina.”

Eastwood had many relationships with many women, a lot of which overlapped.

He was married two times and for most of his girlfriends he would say they were the love of his life at the time, but none of his marriages and relationships lasted very long. Currently, the 90-year-old actor is dating Christina Sandera who is 34 years his junior. He says he’s happiest he’s ever been.

Demi Moore walks down the runway as a model and looks completely different than before

In the past, going under the knife was considered much of a great deal. Nowadays, however, getting surgical procedures for the sake of looking good and feeling better in your own skin is no longer a taboo.

The good thing, I guess, is that many influential people tend to rock more natural look in order to spread the message that we should accept ourselves the way we are, but if someone wants to look younger and do plastic surgeries, then who are we to judge?

Shutterstock

Demi Moore has always been considered an American sweetheart. Being married and divorced three times, she is still not quitting from finding love, and honestly, at the age of 58, she looks as stunning as ever.

Moore is a mother of three beautiful daughters whom she has with her second husband, actor Bruce Willis. The two were married for 13 years. And some five years after they decided to untie the knot, Moore married Ashton Kutcher. The couple divorced in 2013.

Speaking of her relationship with Kutcher, who was 15 years her junior, Moore told The Guardian at the time: “I actually think I was at a point where I thought I was never going to find anybody.

“I don’t come with baggage, I come with trunks – and as the mother of three teenagers I wasn’t feeling sorry for myself, but dating seems kind of silly.”

The Ghost star truly is a very beautiful woman. Over the years, she answered back any time she was “accused” of going under the knife.

“It’s irritating. And it isn’t true. To fight it feels futile because I feel it perpetuates the myth,” Moore told The Guardian. “But really, the culmination for me was when there were multiple reports I had my knees done. When I read that, I thought: wow, should I have been worried about my knees?’ It’s not just my knees,” she added.

“They say I’ve had multiple face surgeries. I was in getting a facial recently and there were reports that I’d been in there for countless hours, saying I’d had surgical procedures. Am I going to sue? Do I really care?’”

In 2010, however, she admitted she had some work done. “I have had something done but it’s not on my face,” she said. “You know what? Maybe one day I’ll go under the knife. It just irritates me that people are constantly saying how much I’ve spent on plastic surgery.”

Well, her fans aren’t convinced she didn’t do plastic surgery on her face. Namely, a photo of Moore from the 2021 Paris Fashion Week, which took place earlier this year, showing the actress going down the runway during Fendi’s show caused quite a stir. As she shared with Naomi Campbell that working alongside some of the most famous names in the modeling industry was “a teenage fantasy fulfilled,” people were focused on her cheekbones.

Youtube/Access

“Have you seen Demi Moore has had more plastic surgery?” one fan wrote on Twitter, as reported by In Touch Weekly

“It doesn’t look natural at all,” another person wrote.

“Demi Moore plastic surgery! That’s a shame! I wish women would allow themselves to age gracefully. It’s so much more attractive than when they start messing with their face.” A third one wrote, adding, “Why, Demi, why?”

Well, we can’t really say whether she had a plastic surgery or her unusual look is due to the heavy make up she wore for the show. Still, Moore remains one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.

What do you think of her new look?

Single mother faces eviction, her 9-year-old daughter finds a way to help

Life can be hard at times. Different people face different challenges on a daily basis. Whether it is health issues or lack of finances, the fact is that many don’t have it easy. However, I honestly believe that when you are a single parent, things get even tougher.

Natalie Koltes is a mother of a girl named Ariel. They have lived in a Las Vegas apartment for three years, but had a hard time paying the rent on time. The landlord couldn’t tolerate them any longer and the two faced eviction.

Watching her hopeless mother getting worried for their future, Ariel, although just nine years old, decided to help. With the help of her grandmother, she wrote a letter to the FOX 5 Surprise Squad. She explained the situation the family found themselves in and wrote how she didn’t want her mother to be under so much pressure.

“I want her to know someone is there for us,” Ariel added.

The sincere words touched the hearts of those reading the letter. They couldn’t allow for someone that young to be worried about things like money and rent, so they decided to answer the call for help.

When the Surprise Squad visited them, Natalie couldn’t believe her eyes. Did this mean their struggles are over?

The Squad told them they are paying the rent for two months so that Natalie can try and get on her feet. There was another surprise as well. For more check out the video below. Ariel, who is a straight-A student is bound to achieve great things in life. That we can be sure of.

Story of an abandoned baby without a name restores faith in humanity

It takes a big heart to be a foster parent. The truth is that not many people would ever be willing to take care of other people’s kids. But those who do make an incredible change in the lives of the frightened children who keep wondering what their days would be like each time they are forced to go from one place to another.

The following story was shared by a foster mother named Grace Kriegel. She opened up about what it takes to become a foster parent and how those children that enter their life change it forever.

You can read it below.

“One family. Two years. Eight children.

“That’s the short explanation of our life. When outsiders ask us questions about what it’s like to be a foster family, they almost never question us further. But the questions are there, in their eyes, as they look down the line of children at my side. The judgement is there, all over their faces, as they dismissively comment, ‘Well, I could never do that,’ before turning their attention back to their own lives. ‘I could never do that.’ So, stranger, let me answer some of those questions you’ve been afraid to verbalize. Pull up a chair. Get comfortable. Let me invite you in…”

“‘Hey, Grace. A baby girl was abandoned. She’s at the hospital. She doesn’t even have a name. It probably won’t be forever, but we need to place her in a foster home. Can you come pick her up in an hour?’

“We were standing in Target, trying to buy pants for the 12-year-old who was already in our care, when I took that phone call. My husband and I made eye contact. We didn’t even need to discuss it. ‘Yes.’ We grabbed a few outfits and a pack of diapers, swung by the house to grab a car seat, and 45 minutes later, the most perfect little Pakistani princess was placed in our arms. Her legal name? Safe (our county) Surrender.”

“Fast forward 4 months.

“‘Hey, Grace. The pediatrician is making a referral to the local children’s hospital. It looks like Safe (we weren’t allowed to change her name) wasn’t examined at birth, and there might be more going on than we thought. Can you cut your vacation short to get her to this appointment?’

“We made the appointment. They called her legal name over the intercom- ‘Safe Surrender?’ I felt the stares of strangers as we met the nurse at the door. No one said it, but they all thought it. ‘Who names their kid that?’ Lots of tests- heart, kidneys, spine. A diagnosis of a few birth defects that would require multiple surgeries and a few months with a colostomy bag. There were more tests, more appointments, and more explanations to uninformed medical staff; WHY this little baby has such an unusual name.

“‘Hey, Grace. I just got your message. Those are some pretty extensive medical needs. Do you think you guys can handle it? We can move her to a level 2 home if we need to.’

“We handled it. We sat by her bedside as she woke up from surgeries. We held her as she cried pitifully. We learned how to care for a colostomy bag. We ordered supplies and paid for them out of pocket. We bought new clothes to leave room for her colostomy bag. We watched her heal. We watched her begin to trust us. We loved her, and she flourished. She had surgery again at 10- months-old to reverse her colostomy and she never looked back.”

“‘Hey, Grace. We published in the paper for the unknown father. We haven’t gotten a response. It looks like this case will be going toward adoption. Are you willing to adopt Safe?’

“I want to pause my story here for a moment. Because ultimately, our fostering journey comes down to one, very simple thing: hope. The practice of waiting with great expectation for things to come. It’s not easy, and it doesn’t make us saints. But it does lead us to believe there is more out there, and better out there, for broken families and hurting children.

“So, let’s address some of those unspoken questions you probably brought to the table:

“‘How do you love so many children, and let them go back home?’

“Hope. I have genuine hope that their families have learned how to better cope with stress. I have hope that we’ve forged deep, meaningful relationships with the biological family. I have hope we’ll see them again, but under much better circumstances.

“‘How do you put up with such horrible behaviors?’

“Hope. Because, sometimes, grief looks a lot like rage. And if we can get through the rage, I have hope we can get to the grief. And I have hope that, if we can get to the grief, we can also get to the healing.

“‘How do you even stand the constant upheaval in your home?’

“Hope. I am an adult who can rationally process sudden, unexpected change. The children who come into our home are not. I have hope that, even though the abrupt disruption is traumatic, we can be a safe haven in a storm for little souls who are lost and confused. I have hope that we will all settle into a new normal and find comfort in it together.

“‘I would be sad all the time. How do you even listen to their stories?’

“Hope. I wake up multiple times a night to children crying out for me. I sit in a glider for hours, holding little bodies, racked with sobs, until they finally catch their breath. I document injuries, dispense medications, sit in on intensive in-home therapy, and fill out countless evaluations requesting PT, OT, and speech. I listen to a preschooler share stories of domestic violence and watch a preteen struggle with mental health. I open the fridge, over and over, to prove to children there is always food. I attend IEP meetings and I advocate for kids. But you know what else I do? I cry. I fall into my husband’s arms at the end of some days, and I beg to just put this work down, because it’s heavy. But he reminds me- hope lightens the load. And every day, we take a deep breath, lean into hope, and do it all again.”

“Which brings me back to our story.

“‘Hey. Grace! Congratulations! It looks like we’ve confirmed a date in March for your adoption ceremony! You can invite whoever you’d like. Several social workers will be in attendance, too. They want to see this case through to the end.’

“At ten o’clock on 3/14/18, I took the stand. I was sworn in. I looked into the eyes of our friends and family, 75 people who made room in their day to come honor this moment with us. I looked at my husband, sitting there with that sweet little girl who had shared our home for the last 14 months. A little girl whose very name told the story of her birth: Safe Surrender. A little girl who had lost so much, but for whom we hoped so much more. I answered a few questions, and then…

“‘Grace, what has your family decided to name her?’

“My eyes turned toward my daughter. She gave me the biggest grin as I answered,

“‘Her name is Arya. Arya Hope.’”

“She is now 3 years old and totally hilarious! We just celebrated her 2nd adoption day. We have continued to foster- Arya has an older foster sister, older foster brother, and little foster brother.”

Grieving widow robbed while visiting late husband’s grave – Thief’s son repays his father’s debt

Are most young people predetermined to become the sort of people their parents are? Most times, as we grow older, we realize that we resemble our mom or dad a lot. It is because we see their actions and tend to follow them, most times even without being aware of it.

Luckily, 15-year-old boy named Christian decided to take a different path in life than that of his father. As it turned out, Christian’s parents went separate ways some time ago and he didn’t get to see a lot of his father who was in and out of jail most of his life.

Christian was aware his dad wasn’t a good man, but his recent action shocked him and left him totally disappointed.

As it turned out, an elderly woman named Tona Herdon who has recently lost her husband got robbed while visiting her late husband’s grave. Someone attacked her and stole her pursue along with $700 which were inside. She reported the attack and someone was soon able to identify the attacker as Christian’s father.

The boy learned of the incident when he saw his dad’s photo on the news. He felt embarrassed. He saw his father a few days before the incident when he gave Christian $250 for his band trip, something Christian was looking forward to. However, knowing what his father did, he couldn’t help but wonder whether that money was Tona’s.

He felt that the right thing to do was reach out to her and give her the money. The two met at a parking lot and Christian explained that his dad gave him the money and returned $250 to her.

78-year-old Tona was deeply touched by Christian’s action. She was aware he wasn’t to be blamed for his father’s crime. She then took the money back. However, realizing how genuine Christian’s apology was, she simply couldn’t allow him to miss the trip that meant so much to him.

Believe it or not, she then offered the money to him.

This story is so touching that it brought tears to our eyes. If you want to learn more go to the video below.

Meet Hunter, Scarlett Johansson’s twin brother who looks a lot like her

Starring in huge hit movies like Lost in Translation, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Hitchcock and the blockbuster The Avengers, speaks a lot of how great of an actress Scarlett Johansson truly is.

Talented, beautiful, and grounded, Scarlett is adored by many. However, despite her world-wide fame, she tends to live a quiet life, out of the spotlight. The fact is that she has never been considered a huge-tabloid actress. What we know of her private life is that she was married three times. Her union with fellow actor Ryan Reynolds lasted for less than three years. She then married Frenchman Roman Dauriac with whom she has daughter Rose Dorothy Dauriac. The girl got her middle name from Scarlett’s grandmother, Dorothy, who has always been a very important person in the actress’ life. In 2020, Scarlett married her current husband, Colin Jost, who is an actor, comedian, and a writer. The two are parents of 5-month-old son Cosmo Jost.

What many people aren’t aware of is that Scarlett Johansson has a twin brother, handsome Hunter Johansson. Besides Hunter, Scarlett has three more siblings, Vanessa, Christian, and Adrian, but being a twin, it’s natural that her relationship with Hunter is somewhat special.

What these two have in common is their love and strong affection for family.

”Family is so important to me, it’s my guiding light. We were a really tight unit, it’s just a such important part of my life. People often ask me like ’so what do you do for fun?’. I hang out with my family,” Hunter said on the The Impossible Network podcast.

“We shared everything, and so I think I started my life, literally, from day one having to compromise, having to collaborate, having to listen, having to ignore that I’m not the only one around.

“I had kind of a different perspective and the perspective of my older siblings. I looked up to my older sister Vanessa a lot, she was a guiding force through life where parents didn’t have the most input on.”

After the divorce with Reynolds, Scarlett felt blue, but her brother and her grandma were there to help her overcome the dark period of her life. “I’ve got a few very close girlfriends who have been by my side for 15 years now, who I can talk to about everything and confide in,” the actress told Irish Central. “I’ve got a close relationship with my twin brother Hunter as well.”

While she is a huge name in the world of film, Hunter chose a totally different career. The only time he appeared on the big screen was with the film Manny & Lo from 1996, but that was it.

Instead, he commits all his time and energy trying to protect the planet. He studied at the University of Vermont, majoring in environmental studies, but later switched to environmental economics. After graduation, environmental work wasn’t what he got involved into. He started working as a bartender in Miami. During that time, he went through what he described as a “dark period” in his life, but thanks to his family, especially his sister Vanessa, he got control over his life again.

He went on to grad school at NYU and got his master’s degree in public administration in late 2019.

With the hurricanes that struck US, Hunter switched to community work entirely.

“When Sandy happened, it was seeing devastation first hand,” he explained. “I realized that, ’hey this is a trend, there’s a massive problem here. We’re not ready for this, were not responding correctly. People are loosing lives and they shouldn’t be’.

“When Maria happened [in 2017], I just had to be down there. I couldn’t let my fellow Americans struggle and be in this utter despair. It was this urge to see what was going on there. People were desperate.”

When Maria struck, it turned out that firstresponders were unable to provide enough help because the power was cut. Ever since, Hunter is working on placing solar panels on police and fire stations. His organization Solar Responders has helped install them on Puerto Rico’s 200 fire and police stations. The cost was estimated at $11.5 million. He did that with the help of Scarlett who was generous enough to support her brother’s dream and passion.

“Thanks to writer Colin Jost, actress Scarlett Johansson and all of our supporters for your generous donations,” the organization’s websites states. “During the first 5 months after Hurricane Maria, firefighters in Rincon relied on a dirty diesel generator and bi-weekly oil deliveries to power their station. Now, when the power-grid fails, reliable and renewable solar power will ensure firefighters can serve the 15,000+ residents, hundreds of businesses and thousands of tourists that support the local economy.”

Scarlett even visited Puerto Rico with her husband to see his brother’s work.

“If there is a truly altruistic person I know in my life, it’s my brother,” she told People. “He reminds me to be a better person all the time. I’m incredibly proud of him.”

We wish all siblings were as close and as supportive of one another as these two. What a beautiful bond they share.

Musician and actor Meat Loaf dead at 74: COVID 19 suspected as cause of death

It feels like 2022 started out rough for the entertainment industry. After the passing of Betty White and Bob Saget, yet another celebrity icon left this world, musician and actor Meat Loaf. Although the cause of dead remains unclear, some magazines, including The Sun, have reported that the legendary musician battled COVID-19 after falling ill earlier this week.

Born Marvin Lee Aday on September 27, 1947, in Dallas, Texas, Meat Loaf was destined for great things. His raw talent and determination to succeed seemed to be the key to rising to stardom.

When his mother passed away, Meat Loaf moved to Los Angeles where he formed his first band, Meat Loaf Soul. In case you wonder how he came up with the name, it was taken from a nickname his football coach gave him. He was so good at what he did, that Meat Loaf got plenty of contract offers, but he turned them down and continued working as a musician who supported Janis Joplin, The Who, and The Stooges, among others.

Although he’s best known for his music, it was film that helped him make a name for himself back in the day. In 1973, he landed a role in the original production of The Rocky Horror Show and later starred in the film.

In 1977, after signing with Cleveland International Records, Meat Loaf released the hit You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth. “I have the patience of a cat,” he told NME, as quoted by The Guardian. “I’ll sit tight and wait until everything is right.”

That same year, Meat Loaf’s first album was released, Bat Out of Hell, which remains until this very day one of the top-10 selling albums of all time.

One of the songs which became a huge hit and went platinum was the everlasting I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That).

After this debut album, Meat Loaf lost his singing voice. Speaking of it, author Mick Wall’s wrote in his book Like a Bat Out of Hell: The Larger than Life Story of Meat Loaf, “It began with a noise, an unholy noise, a noise that no one had heard before, it came out whenever he tried to sing. It began with the high notes, the ones he used to hit with the accuracy of an army sniper.”

Jim Steinman, whom Meat Loaf collaborated with, said in a BBC Radio interview, “I asked Meat Loaf to come up and start just rehearsing, just so I could hear what shape his voice was in. And he opened his mouth, and we both like just looked at each other in shock – because the sound that came out of his mouth didn’t even resemble a human voice … It was like this low, guttural sound – like a dragon trying to sing. It was a horrifying sound.”

After he released his second album Dead Ringer in 1981, he turned to stand-up comedy. At the same time he faced some personal struggles.

“I went off the rails because I was fighting the record company, and I was fighting the mob because I was being ripped off,” he told The Guardian. “It was then I discovered what a tough mother***er I was. In order to find out what I was, I had to lose my mind. That’s sometimes how it goes.”

For his third album, Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell, Meat Loaf received a Grammy for Best Rock Vocal Performance.

In 2016, during a concert, he collapsed on stage. The cause was severe dehydration. However, this wasn’t the first time for him to collapse while performing. The same thing happened back in 2003 and 2011, as well as in 2019 during an interview at Texas Frightmare horror convention.

Last year, the star released a statement telling his fans he’ll be back in the studio, saying, “I’m not done.”

The news of his passing came as a shock to his family and friends. Tributes came pouring in, while the family released a statement on his official Facebook account.

“We know how much he meant to so many of you, and we truly appreciate all of the love and support as we move through this time of grief in losing such an inspiring artist and beautiful man,” they wrote. “From his heart to your souls … don’t ever stop rocking!”

Performer Boy George wrote on Twitter, “RIP Meatloaf. Love and prayers to all his family and close friends. He once turned me upside down in a Chinese Restaurant in St Johns Wood.”

Stephen Fry, who performed alongside Meat Loaf on Saturday Night live, shared his condolences. “I hope paradise is as you remember it from the dashboard light, Meat Loaf. Had a fun time performing a sketch with him on Saturday Live way back in the last century,” he wrote. “He had the quality of being simultaneously frightening and cuddly, which is rare and rather wonderful.”

Cher wrote, “Had so much fun with Meatloaf when we did Dead Ringer. Am very sorry for his family, friends & fans. Am I imagining it, or are amazing [people] in the arts dying every other day.”

Another celebrity who has been deeply touched by Meat Loaf’s passing is broadcaster Pierce Morgan. He wrote,“RIP Meat Loaf, 74. One of rock music’s all-time great characters whose seminal iconic album Bat Out Of Hell is one of the biggest-selling records in history. A wondrously talented, flamboyant, funny, outrageous, and rebellious chameleon. Sad news.”

Meat Loaf was married twice. He wed Leslie G. Edmonds a month after meeting her in 1978. The two eventually got divorced in 2001. In 2007, Meat Loaf married Deborah Gillespie with whom he stayed together until the rest of his life. Meat Loaf had two daughters, Pearl Aday, who is biological daughter of his first wife and a drummer in Janis Joplin’s group Full Tilt Boogie Band. However, Meat Loaf adopted her and raised her as his own. He had his second daughter, Amanda Aday, with Edmonds.

Known for his incredible music, wide-ranging voice and theatrical live shows, Meat Loaf remains one of the best musicians we know of. Rest in peace.

Pierce Brosnan always has his wife’s back: Inside his marriage with Keely

What is common for most Hollywood marriages is that they don’t last long. In fact, witnessing celebrities being devoted to that one person their whole life is pretty rare. This, however, isn’t true for the on-screen Casanova, Pierce Brosnan. He and his wife Keely have been happily married for over 20 years and are still very much in love and going strong.

Brosnan loves showing his love for his wife. For their 25th anniversary, he publicly thanked her for all her love.

They say the secret to their marriage and everlasting love is that no matter how hectic his work schedule is or how much she’s busy, they always find the way to spend quality one-on-one time together.

“My wife and I took a short road trip up to Santa Barbara – we were going for a romantic weekend and to look at houses and drink great wine. We didn’t listen to any music, but we just listened to the sounds of each other’s voices and sorted out the world,” he said.

Just recently, he shared a photo of him and his wife sharing a kiss at the beach during the celebration of his birthday. Along the cute photo, he wrote, “Thank you for the moon and sun and all the days of our lives together my darling heart Keely. I had a great 67th birthday. Thanks to one and all of you out there who wished me so. God bless, stay strong.”

Keely posted a photo herself and wished her love a very happy birthday. “Happy Happy Birthday to my tender hearted renaissance man @piercebrosnanofficial Wishing you love, joy, and many many more trips around the sun.”

Brosnan was first married to Australian actress Casandra Harris who tragically died of ovarian cancer back in 1991. Sadly, her daughter would lose her life due to the same illness. The Mrs. Doubtfire star had one child with her, but adopted her children from her previous marriage after the kids’ dad died. They took his surname. He has two sons with Keely, Dylan and Paris.

He loves sharing photos of his children.

We can’t wait to see more from this actor. Good news is he’s working on a couple of films, one of which, Cinderella, is about to be released in 2021.

It’s awesome Brosnan never let his fame change the man he always was. “I’ve been a married man most of my life — that’s the way I like it,” the A-lister told Closer Weekly. “I’m one of those guys who believes you need a strong woman in your life. I found a great woman in Keely … Not if I searched a million times over would I find one as good.”
