Inside the life of Debra Paget and why Elvis was ‘obsessed’ with her

Actress Debra Paget, born Dabralee Griffin on August 19, 1933, in Denver, Colorado, was so enchantingly beautiful when young that legendary director Cecil B DeMille spoke of her as ”touched by the hand of God.”

Her parents were part of the showbiz and both Debra and her two sisters, Tala Loring and Lisa Gaye, pursued careers in the world of film.

Speaking of herself as of a ”post-depression” baby who was welcomed into the world during a devastating and prolonged economic recession, Debra still held her parents in high regard.

“When I looked back, we had so much love in our home,” Debra said in an interview.

At a very young age, Debra starred in a production of Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor. She then proceeded to be part of a number of films, and her ‘exotic’ looks helped her get the title “The most beautiful legs in the world” when the National Association of Hosiery Manufactures polled 15,000 people in the industry.

She signed a contract with 20th Century Fox when she was just 14, but it wasn’t until Paramount Pictures borrowed her for The Ten Commandments that Debra made her most successful movie.

Although she has been blue eyed, she needed to wear brown contact lenses for the sake of the filming. “If it hadn’t been for the lenses, I wouldn’t have gotten the part. They were awful to work in because the klieg lights heated them up,” she said.

Speaking of the film, which was extremely successful and won seven Academy Awards, Debra said, ”It was probably the highlight of my career.”

Then, when she turned 22, another life changing movie followed, Elvis Presley’s first movie Love Me Tender.

Speaking of the moment she first met the famous singer who took America by storm, Debra said, “Although I usually don’t form an opinion of a person until I have met him.

“Frankly I looked forward to my first meeting with Elvis Presley with mixed emotions. I’d heard and read a lot about this new young singing sensation from Tennessee—and most of it was not complimentary.”

When Milton Berle introduced them months prior to the filming of the movie when the two were part of his show, Elvis grabbed Debra’s hand firmly and said, “I’m glad to meet you, Miss Paget.” He then excused himself and returned with a chair for Debra’s mother.

“We were together for only a couple of hours but sometimes you can learn more about a person in a short span of time than in weeks of seeing one another constantly. I felt I did. From the very beginning, Elvis impressed me as a pleasant, sincere, obliging young man,” Debra recalled.

Elvis, as everyone in America, got infatuated with Debra and her beauty and even asked her to marry him, but her parents objected, and being a good Christian, she wouldn’t possibly do anything against her mom and dad’s will.

Debra and Elvis’s relationship was sort of family-oriented. “From the time he first came to the house, my folks have considered Elvis a member of the Paget clan—a feeling which, I believe, he reciprocated,” Debra explained. “I was very shy, very quiet and very immature for my age. I was in my very early 20’s but I was emotionally more like a 16-year-old. Elvis and I just sort of came together like a couple of children really.”

Elvis was enchanted, and soon, many learned of his admiration for Debra. It was believed that it was so strong that many young women altered their appearance to resemble Debra, including the makeup and the hairstyle. Among them was Priscilla Presley, whom Elvis later married.

When Debra turned Elvis down, she met and later married Howard Hughes, a famous film producer and billionaire.

Today, Debra is 89 but not much is known about her personal life.

Candace Cameron Bure does not back down over criticism on ‘inappropriate’ pictures with husband

The Full House star Candace Cameron never misses a chance to share with the world how much she loves her husband of 26 years, the NHL hockey star Valeri Bure. She says that their marriage, as any other out there, had gone through thick and thin, but what made them stay strong is their deep faith and love for God.

“There have been several tough years, in a row, ups and downs, bad attitudes and bad decisions, but we’ve persevered. We rode them out. We loved each other through them. We kept the focus; God’s glory. We are both better for it. I’m so grateful and thankful for the man I married. Neither of us are perfect, far from it, and will continue to make mistakes because we are human. But God’s Word and His grace see us through – striving to be the best of ourselves in Him. To God be the glory.”

Candice and Valeri dated for two years before they tied the knot. They have three children together, Natasha, Lev, and Maksim. They always tried raising them in the the way of the Lord.

Well, being considered someone who is a huge believer in God, a recent photo of the couple caused a stir and made Candice a subject of criticism.

Namely, Valeri shared the photo in question which shows him having his arm around his wife’s shoulder and his hand on her chest. Her fans warned her that the photo was inappropriate for a ‘Christian star’ of her stature, but she still re-shared it and even sent a message through a video in which she could be seen laughing and saying, “Sorry if it offended you… I’m actually not sorry.” Further, the actress said, “I’m glad that we have fun together after so many years.”

According to her, the ‘controversial’ photo only demonstrated the results of a “good and healthy marriage” after that many years together.

“It makes me laugh because it’s my husband,” she said in her follow-up Instagram story video. “He can touch me any time he wants and I hope he does.”

We are glad these two are still in love as day one and we hope their marriage lasts forever and their love grows even stronger.

Never-before-seen photos of Meghan Markle give new insight into her childhood

Like it or not, the truth is that Harry and Meghan make one of the most power couples there are. From the moment the world learned they were dating, all eyes have been on them. The attention they received from the media has been so extensive that many believe Meghan being under scrutiny by the press had a lot to do with the couple’s decision to step down from their royal duties and settle in the States.

Before meeting Harry, Meghan Markle, who was born in Los Angeles, California, on August 4, 1981, has had quite a career in the world of film. At the time she stared dating the prince, who was one of the most loved and most popular members of the royal family, Meghan was playing the role of paralegal Zane on Suits.

In fact, being the daughter of Thomas Markle, a lighting director and director of photography, she spent a great deal of her childhood on the set of a number of movies, accompanying Thomas, with whom she used to be very close.

Although she was familiar with how the industry worked, Meghan reportedly never wanted her story to be a cliché and she refused to be known as the L.A. girl who dreamed of becoming an actress, so she attended the Northwestern University where she studied communication. Later on, she moved to Illinois to double-major in both theater and international relations at the prestigious Evanston school.

She first caught the public’s eye as a briefcase girl on the game show Deal or No Deal.

“I was the ill-fated number 26, which for some reason no one would ever choose,” she told Esquire. “I would end up standing up there forever in these terribly uncomfortable and inexpensive five-inch heels just waiting for someone to pick my number so I could go and sit down.”

At the beginning of her successful acting career, Meghan met her first husband, Trevor Engelson.

According to IMDB, he was born on October 23, 1976, in Great Neck, Long Island, New York, and attended the University of Southern California’s School of Communications.

He entered the world of film working as a production assistant and then worked his way to become a film producer. Over the years, he’s worked on a number of projects such as the 2006 film Remember Me, starring Robert Pattinson. He has also been involved in productions such as License to Wed and All About Steve.

After dating for seven years, Meghan and Trevor tied the knot at a ceremony which took place at the Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios in Jamaica. The celebration lasted for three days during which around 100 guests attended parties, drinking games at the beach, brunches, and even a wheelbarrow race.

Meghan being a divorcee when she met Harry was something Buckingham Palace would rather not speak about or highlight.

Fast forward to this day, Meghan and Harry are happily married and have two children together.

In the recent Netflix documentary featuring their life as a couple, as well as their lives before meeting each other, never-before seen photos of Meghan have been shown to the public.

On one of the photos, Meghan poses with her mom Doria Ragland, and on another one, she could be seen playing. A a third, when she was about nine or ten, shows Meghan with a touch of makeup.

She was a star in the 1960s and her meeting with Elvis changed everything

Most of you may have not heard of Rita Pavone, but this Italian’s singer life story is truly a fascinating one.

Possessing inner talent for singing and an enchanting voice, she seemed to be destined to reach stardom and become a famous name in the music industry.

For Pavone, it all started when she began singing at different student parties and then at various bars in her hometown of Turin. Her mother believed that music wasn’t the way forward for Rita. “It was the last resort. I had almost decided to drop everything. I had been singing since the age of nine, but I was unable to emerge and go beyond local notoriety. My mother advised me to put my dreams of glory on the back burner,” Pavone said.

Her father, however, was very supportive of Pavone’s wish to make a name for herself one day and encouraged her to take part at one of the greatest competitions of the time, the “Rally of the Unknown.” He even wrote a letter to the organizer of the talent show, Teddy Reno, and asked him to give his daughter a spot. The number of people who took part was 20,000, but eventually, Pavone won the competition and she became a star almost overnight, with her first album being recorded mere weeks after winning the competition.

“To this day, I still wonder [what the secret to my success was], and I can’t explain it. Wherever I went, from Brazil to England, from France to Germany, I was able to enter the international hit parades with songs translated into foreign languages or made specifically for that market,” Rita explained.

“I myself was the first to marvel at all this interest in me. Perhaps I possessed a particular type of vocality, a bit high-pitched, cutting, but deeply personal.”

She added: “I think this strong personality was my trump card. Having personality means not going unnoticed. Today, however, there is a rampant tendency to copy others, and this has inevitably led to many “photocopied products.” In my case I also had a face halfway between a girl and a boy, red hair freckled face.”

After selling hundreds of thousands of albums in Italy, Pavone was asked to the United States to audition for RCA Records. A t the time, many predicted she would be the next great thing, but in the midst of the Beatlemania and people’s affection for Elvis, who was one of Pavone’s greatest idols, that didn’t seem to be an easy task.

While at the States, Pavone performed with the likes of Diana Ross and The Supremes, Ella Fitzgerald, and Tom Jones. Moreover, she appeared several times on Ed Sullivan Show and in performances at the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York.

During an occasion, she met Elvis Presley in person and he gave her a signed painting.

One day, while recording with her producer, Chet Atkins, in the “Music City,” Pavone, who didn’t understand English at the time, overheard her “muse,” Brenda Lee, talking about Elvis. She didn’t understand why at first, but she soon learned that the King of Rock&Roll would visit the recording studio. There was a huge crowd gathered in front of it, waiting to meet Presley.

“Suddenly, there was a chill because I wanted to meet him. So I went to Chet Atkins, asking him the big favor of letting me know him when at one point,” Pavone recalled.

“I saw a crowd of people arming themselves, they seemed to be preparing the landing in Normandy, he absolutely didn’t want to be disturbed, they said. So I started whining like children do, it wasn’t possible to waste such an opportunity, I convinced them, but they made me a lot of recommendations.”

She then added, “I waited until midnight in the RCA studios, until they entered: first, his lawyer, his secretary, his sound engineer, all his staff. And then him. He had yellow Ray-Bans that I had never seen before, the sideburns it was beautiful. He came in and greeted us and he came towards me. I asked him if I could have a photo of him and he was very helpful, he told me I could have even more. So he called his secretary who gave me a canvas where he wrote: Best wishes to Rita, then he gave me a kiss and left.

“His manager, the famous Colonel Parker, didn’t want me to meet him. But when he came out of the studio, he saw me and said, ‘But I know you! You went to the Ed Sullivan show.’ It was Elvis who recognized me. I asked him for a photo, but he even gave me one of his paintings.”

Meeting Elvis Presley is something Pavone will remember until the rest of her life.

“I have it at home! My son, who is very realistic and pragmatic, said that when I die, he will sell it! A man of that stature and popularity who was so down to earth blew me away,” she stated.

After spending some years in America, Pavone decided to return to Italy where she was adored by millions.

She married Teddy Reno, the organizer of the talent show that turned her into a star. However, Teddy being 20 years her senior wasn’t accepted well by her family and the public. Her father was even mad when he heard the two were dating, but some time after they tied the knot, he visited them in Switzerland, where they still live today, and told her he was sorry he didn’t respect her choice.

Many of her songs entered the charts of UK, Germany, and even Brazil and other countries.

Pavone announced her retirement from the stage in the mid-2000s, but she returned in 2016 and competed in the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars. She also performed at the legendary Sanremo Festival in 2020, and again the year after, in a Christmas special.

One thing is certain, Rita Pavone has had an impressive career.

Harry ‘snapped’ at Meghan during heated argument – he sought therapy after speaking ‘cruelly’ to her

The dust still hasn’t settled following the allegations and the secrets revealed in Prince Harry’s all-tell memoir Spare.

Described as “Vulnerable and heartfelt, brave and intimate,” Spare shook the royal family, despite them not commenting on anything related to the book that caused a stir not only in Britain but all over the world.

Among the rest, Harry spoke of his niece and nephews, saying that he wasn’t invited to William and Kate’s home as much as he wished to upon Prince George’s birth. Harry also spoke of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis and said that he fears they could “end up” just like him.

But he also opened up about his relationship with wife Meghan Markle.

When the two started dating, Harry was very pleased.

“Guys, I met a girl,” a friend who appeared in the couple’s documentary recalled Harry saying. “We just met, but I think she’s the one.”

Meghan felt the same. She was aware the two were getting involved in a long-distance relationship, but that didn’t stop neither of them to continue seeing each other without anyone knowing about that.

“Everything was text and FaceTime, we’d talk for hours. It felt exciting but not in the way people would assume it would be,” Meghan said. “It was just relaxed and easy.”

When Britain learned their favorite Prince was dating the American actress, all eyes were on them. Unfortunately, Meghan was treated poorly by the British media. Harry, however, knew that something like that was on the way because both his late mother and his ex-girlfriends were judged down to the finest detail. In the Netflix documentary, Harry explained that he wasn’t certain if he would ever be able to find a love interest “capable” and “willing” to go through with it to live a royal life.

“Every relationship I had within a matter of weeks or months was splattered all over the newspapers, and that person’s family harassed, and their lives turned upside down,” Harry said.

“After one or two girlfriends, the third or fourth girlfriend would say, ‘Hand on a second. I don’t know if I want this.”

Harry and Meghan, however, were able to overcome the obstacles. They married in 2018, and some two years later, they made the shocking decision to step down from their royal duties and leave Britain, probably for good. Ever since, they have been through thick and thin.

The two are much in love with each other and their lives seem picture-perfect. But in 2016, as revealed by Harry himself, he snapped at his then-girlfriend Meghan.

“Maybe the wine went to my head. Maybe the weeks of battling the press had worn me down. For some reason, when the conversation took an unexpected turn, I became touchy,” Harry wrote.

“Then angry. Disproportionately, sloppily angry.”

Harry explained that Meghan took a comment he had made “the wrong way” because of the “cultural difference” between them. He then spoke to her “harshly” and “cruelly.”

“I was also just over-sensitive that night, I thought: ‘Why’s she having a go at me?’ I snapped at her, spoke to her harshly [and] cruelly,” he continued.

“As the words left my mouth, I could feel everything in the room come to a stop. The gravy stopped bubbling, the molecules of air stopped orbiting. Even Nina Simone seemed to pause.”

Meghan seemed to be deeply hurt and left the room.

“She was calm, but said in a quiet, level tone that she would never stand for being spoken to like that. I nodded. She wanted to know where it came from,” Harry explained in his memoir. He then recalled Meghan saying, “‘Where did you ever hear a man speak like that to a woman? Did you overhear adults speak that way when you were growing up?’ I cleared my throat, looked away [and responded], ‘Yes.’”

She said she wouldn’t tolerate her partner speak to her in that manner, but at the same time, she knew that those words weren’t a result of their conversation, but of something else.

“It came from somewhere deep inside, somewhere that needed to be excavated, and it was obvious that I could use some help with the job,” Harry explained.

“‘I’ve tried therapy,’ I told her. ‘Willy told me to go. Never found the right person.’ [It] didn’t work. ‘No,’ she said softly. ‘Try again.’”

This 1980’s beauty is unrecognizable today — 37 years after hit film that catapulted her into stardom

Everyone who has ever seen Top Gun, the 1986 legendary movie starring Tom Cruise, Tim Robbins, and Kelly McGillis among the rest, probably agrees that the cast was so iconic that it is hard to imagine other actors filing those roles. Sadly, the Top Gun: Maverick movie, which was released last year, showed that some could be completely excluded.

When the news of the sequel spread around, everyone assumed that actress Kelly McGillis would be part of it. Having been away from the spotlight for many years, many were looking forward to see her on the big screen one more time, but that’s not what happened.

While Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer reunited in a very emotional scene, McGillis wasn’t asked to join the cast.

When asked by Entertainment Tonight back in 2019 if she was offered a role in the sequel, she said, “Oh my god no. They did not, nor do I think they would ever.”

The actress added: “I mean, I’m old and I’m fat, and I look age-appropriate for what my age is, and that is not what that whole scene is about.”

However, McGillis isn’t concerned she wasn’t part of the smash blockbuster movie. “I’d much rather feel absolutely secure in my skin and who and what I am at my age, as opposed to placing a value on all that other stuff,” she said.

When she landed the role of Charlie Blackwood, an astrophysicist and training school instructor, she made a lasting impression as Maverick’s, played by Tom Cruise, love interest. Her impeccable looks, long legs, and blonde hair made many fall for her.

“I don’t think anything prepared me for what I guess was becoming a household name kind of thing,” McGillis said told LA Times.

“It was really intimidating to me. I don’t aspire to be famous. I just aspire to be an actress, and that movie kind of startled my reality in a big way. I got very insecure. I didn’t know who I could trust to be my friend anymore.”

Landing this iconic role was a pure serendipity.

McGillis was scheduled to do another movie, but it fell through so Paramount called her and asked if she could do Top Gun instead. She liked the script and drove to San Diego for the production.

”I felt it was a Western in the sky. I had no clue how visually impeccable it would be. I think Tony Scott brought so much to that movie visually,” she said.

McGillis was compared to Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman and Lauren Bacall, but she never took those comparisons seriously.

”I have never thought of myself as a great beauty. In my teen-age and prepubescent years when one forms one’s ideas of oneself, I think primarily I was very over-weight and had a very low self-esteem,” she told Intelligencer Journal in 1986.

McGillis eventually left Hollywood in order to raise her two daughter which she has with now-former husband Fred Tillman. After tying the knot with him, the couple opened a restaurant in Key West, Florida, Kelly’s Caribbean Bar & Grill.

Speaking of her decision to turn her back to the place where dreams come true, Hollywood, McGillis once said, “I was never really unhappy. It is just that I wanted to reclaim my anonymity, to live my own life. I think that if you have children, it is you who should look after them. I didn’t want my kids to think of me as a movie star, I wanted them to know me as Mommy.”

Following her divorce from Tillman, McGillis came out as a lesbian. She said it wasn’t something that she decided to do overnight and revealed that she struggled with her sexuality since she was 12.

“Life is a freaking journey, and it’s about growing and changing, and coming to terms with who and what you are, and loving who and what you are,” she once said.

In 2010, McGillis tied the knot with Melanie Leis. Their relationship seemed to be a destructive one, as they both turned to substances and went into rehab.

Tillman, McGillis’ ex-husband, attended the civil ceremony. “He was my greatest, bestest friend, and he still is,” McGillis told Daily News, adding: ”I was gay before I had kids. I had a really tough time coming to accept myself.”

Her relationship with her wife broke just a year later.

Speaking of her appearance and the weight she has gained over the years, the actress said, “You hear women of my age talk about this all the time. I think this industry is not particularly kind to women who are over 50. I am not into the coloring of my hair, doing the Botox and getting a face lift, and I want to grow up to be a character actress.”

According to the Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski, McGillis being left out had nothing to do with her appearance, he simply wanted to add new characters and take the film to a different direction.

Raquel Welch dead at 82

Raquel Welch, the iconic 1960s sex symbol, died Wednesday aged 82 after a brief, undisclosed illness. The news of her passing has been confirmed by the family.

Gorgeous Welch attracted the attention of millions of people worldwide from the moment she landed her role in Fantastic Voyage and later in One Million Years B.C in 1966. No one really cared that her character only had three lines of dialogue in the film because it was her stunning appearance in her undergarments that stunned the audience.

“I had no other credentials as an actress outside of that one laughable line of dialogue: ‘Me Loana… You Tumak.’ It felt like I’d stumbled into a booby trap – pun intended. I’m a living proof that a picture speaks a thousand words,” Welch said.

Soon after, images of her in the doe-skin bikini became best-selling posters that turned her into an international sex symbol. Playboy Magazine gave her the title of “the most desirable lady of the decade” in the year 1970 and she truly was one.

Her roles, through which she portrayed strong female characters, helped break the mold of the traditional sex symbol and end Hollywood’s vigorous promotion of the blonde bombshell.

Throughout the years, Welch took part in many films and she even got her own television program called Raquel! Her healthy lifestyle and her passion for yoga resulted in her publishing a book with exercises.

Men’s Health named her second hottest woman of all time in their 2014 issue.

She also appeared on “The Cher Show” in 1975 and performed “I’m a Woman” with the singer.

Throughout her life, Welch was married four times. She married James Welch when she was just 18 but the two untied the knot in 1961 after which she moved to Texas with their two children. The brunette bombshell later married Patrick Curtis from 1967 to 1972; André Weinfeld from 1980 to 1990, and Richard Palmer from 1999 till their separation in 2003.

Welch is survived by her children, Damon, 63, and Tahnee, 61.

The great actor is in our thoughts and prayers

Charlize Theron is one of the most stunning Hollywood actresses there are. Talented, gorgeous, and versatile, it doesn’t come as a surprise that she is one of the most loved celebrities in the world of film.

What many people don’t know about Charlize is that she has done her own stunts in a number of movies.

Before the release of the movie The Old Guard, the actress appeared on Howard Stern’s radio show and was asked how she prepares for the action scenes she films. Charlize said that she watches old fighting videos and added that she often stumbles upon those of actor Steven Seagal, who has a black belt in karate and practices martial arts.

Speaking of him, Charlize wasn’t afraid to speak her mind and said, “At night, I’ll go online to watch fighters or watch people fight, and you always come across that odd Seagal video of him ‘fighting’ in Japan, but he really isn’t.”

She then continued, “He’s just incredibly overweight and pushing people. He’s overweight and can barely fight … look it up; it’s ridiculous. He’s shoving people by the face. It’s a whole setup.”

This came as a surprise to the host, but the Max Mad: Furry Road star justified her opinion noting, “I have no problem talking s— about him because he’s not very nice to women so f— you!”

In the past, Steven Seagal was accused of sexual harassment by a number of women. Most recently, actress Rachel Grant claimed he pulled down her top and exposed himself to her during an audition.

Other women who came forward and spoke of Seagal’s treatment of them are Julianna Margulies, Regina Simons, Jenny McCarthy and Portia de Rossi.

Portia De Rossi took to Twitter to speak of one particularly disturbing casting experience she had with the actor.

“My final audition for a Steven Segal movie took place in his office. He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather pants. I ran out and called my agent. Unfazed, she replied, ‘Well, I didn’t know if he was your type’,” she wrote.

Seagal denied the accusations. He hasn’t been charged of any misconduct.

Almost a year and a half after losing her nephew River, who died of “total organ failure” at 11 months old, actress Sharon Stone experienced more heartbreak. Unfortunately, her brother Patrick, 57, died of heart attack in the early hours of Sunday morning in Pennsylvania.

Stone took to Instagram on Monday to confirm the news reports of her brother’s passing, posting photos of herself and Patrick as a sweet tribute.

“RIP my brother Patrick Joseph Stone,” the Basic Instinct star captioned her post.

Patrick’s wife, Tasha, also took to Instagram to share her devastation over her husband’s sudden death.

“My heart feels like it’s been ripped out of my chest. Patrick went to be with our sweet River around 3:30 this morning.“

She continued: “He gave me 3 beautiful children that he loved and adored.

“He made sure to make it a point to let me know how much he loved me and how much I meant to him… I knew the very first day that I saw him that I was going to marry him. I felt an immediate connection to him and for 20 years we drove each other absolutely crazy but we also loved each other so deeply. I feel lost without my best friend.”

Tasha added that her only comfort was that Patrick’s last days were filled with joy.

“What if I am meant to carry the memory of our near perfect day so that I can smile and feel love when I think of him and he was able to take the memories with him knowing without a shadow of a doubt that he was immensely loved.

“I don’t want to accept that though even if that is the purpose of his passing. I wanted a lifetime with him and even though 20 years is a long time it wasn’t enough time. He was my soul mate. We just got each other even at our ugliest.”

Back in 2011, when River left this world a month prior to his first birthday, Stone revealed that the thing that helped them most during the times of grief was the fact that River’s organs helped save three lives.

“The fact that my godson was able to save three lives, two infants and a 45-year-old man was sanctuary for our family,” she told People at the time.

“I can only say that you never, never know when a tragedy will happen in your life or in your family, but this opportunity be an organ donor, it saved us, saved our family.

“Many people have many different thoughts about this, but in the end, it gave us some peace.”

Rest in peace, Patrick. You are now reunited with your sweet son.

Chris Stapleton gets fans incredibly emotional at Super Bowl

The much-anticipated game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles was a delight to watch. According to Fox, this year’s Super Bowl made it the most-watched in six years with 113 million people tuning in.

The honor to open the game with a rendition of the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ was given to country music star Chris Stapleton. The moving performance brought both fans and players to tears inside Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium. The reaction by those watching the Super Bowl on TV was as strong and as emotional with many saying that it was so good that it gave them goosebumps.

Stapleton’s version of the anthem drew comparison to Whitney Houston’s moving performance in 1991 which is considered one of the best in the history of the game.

“Grown-a** men crying to Chris Stapleton singing the national anthem,” one person wrote. “Wow, this one is right up there with Whitney Houston’s performance. Just amazing.”

Another fan added, “Best star spangled banner ever. God Chris Stapleton you are amazing.” Others commented, “Chris Stapleton just won the Super Bowl,” and “OK SING IT CHRIS STAPLETON! This is an excellent version of the national anthem.”

In addition to the impeccable performance of the National Anthem, R&B star Babyface sang “America the Beautiful” and veteran actress Sheryl Lee Ralph sang “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

Before pursuing a career as a singer, Stapleton was a songwriter. Today, he is one of the most famous names in the world of country music with an incredible number of awards under his belt. Among the rest, he is a recipient of about 16 CMAs, eight Grammy Awards, and 10 Academy of Country Music Awards.

It was in 2015 that he began to make waves as a singer. At that year’s Country Music Awards, he and Justin Timberlake mashed up their respective songs “Tennessee Whiskey” and Timberlake’s “Drink You Away.”

Speaking of his singing, Stapleton said in a 2022 interview, “I don’t probably sing like a traditional country singer you know, but, ultimately, I’m me. I’m just trying to be the best version of that that I can be.”

He then added: “And whether that’s playing a song that leans into blues or a song that leans into R&B or a song that leans into really distinctly outlaw country. I love all that music. And I don’t feel limited to playing one type of song.”

Other singers who have performed the national anthem in the past, among the rest, are Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, and Mickey Guyton.

Child star Austin Majors known for ‘NYPD Blue’ dead at 27 years old

Child star Austin Majors, known for playing Theo Sipowicz, the son of Detective Andy Sipowicz on ABC’s NYPD Blue was found dead. According to TMZ, Majors died Saturday night and the alleged reason for his sudden passing was a fatal ingestion of fentanyl. Reports are that the time of his passing, Major was staying at a Los Angeles shelter for homeless people.

The final results of the autopsy are yet to be revealed. Major was 27 years of age.

His heartbroken family issued a statement and paid tribute to Major, describing him as “loving, artistic, brilliant, and kind human being.”

Further, the statement read, “Austin took great joy and pride in his acting career. He was an active Eagle Scout and graduated Salutatorian in high school,” the statement read. “He went on to graduate from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts with a passion of directing and music producing.

“Austin’s younger sister, Kali, says her fondest memories with Austin were growing up on set with him, volunteering at events with Kids With a Cause, and backpacking together.

“Austin was the kind of son, brother, grandson, and nephew that made us proud and we will miss him deeply forever.”

In 2002, Major was awarded the Young Artist Award for best performance in a TV series (comedy or drama) young actor age ten or under.

In a statement, actor Dennis Franz, who played Major’s TV dad, said working with the young actor was a joy.

“He never has lost his enthusiasm to be on the set,” Franz’s sentiment read. “He just loves coming to work. He thinks of this as his playground and all of us as his older playmates! It is Austin Majors Day when he is here, he runs the show. But when he hears his cue, he gets a twinkle in his eye and he is ready to work.”

Majors appeared in a number of TV shows, including ER, According to Jim and Desperate Housewives. His last television credit is believed to be in 2009 when he appeared on How I Met Your Mother.

He played his biggest role, that of Theo Sipowicz on NYPD Blue, for seven seasons.

Cher opens up about the truth regarding her hair

Cher has adopted a variety of styles and appearances throughout her six-decade-long career and stunned her fans over and over again. But one thing she would never change is the color of her hair.

Being 76 doesn’t prevent this diva from looking as stunning as ever. The truth is that Cher defies age and looks way younger, and according to her, that’s because she also feels young.

Recently, she revealed that the rumors of her alleged relationship with music producer Alexander Edwards, who is 40 years her junior, are actually true.

Last year, she and raper Saweetie starred in M.A.C. Cosmetics campaign and during a promotional video for the cosmetic brand she said that there is one look she’s staying away from; grey hair.

“[Going gray] is fine for other girls,” she told People. “I’m just not doing it!”

Not only she rocked different looks over the years, but she has also used wigs in order to alter her appearance. “There’s nothing wrong with my hair, but I love wigs, and always have,” she said and added, “They are so low maintenance. It just makes it easier to change my image.”

When asked about the secret of her enduring beauty, Cher said, “You know what? You never stop being a girl. If you never stop being a girl, you’ll never get old.”

She added that there shouldn’t be such a thing as not wearing certain clothes and not using certain beauty products after reaching certain age. In a 2017 interview, Cher revealed detailed concerning her skin care routine and revealed that some of her favorite beauty products are Dr. Barbara Sturm’s eye cream and face wash, as well as products from Jan Marini and the Proactiv line.

“My skincare routine is very eclectic. I don’t stick to one particular product, I just have things that I love from different people,” the singer and actress said. “I think a little bit less is more, because sometimes you can shoot for it and shoot past it. Now, she dedicates more energy to skin care.”

Actress who played Rizzo in ‘Grease’ comes out of hiding after 20 years and looks unrecognizable

I am certain there is no person on Earth, whether young or old, who doesn’t remember the iconic love story between charmer Danny Zuko and the shy Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson. Grease was a huge hit back in the day and is still popular today, almost 43 years after it stole the hearts of millions and became the highest-grossing musical at the time.

Believe it or not, what Danny and Sandy had was something we all wished to experience. Their impact on the youth of that time was so huge that many of them copied the dance moves from the movie. The singing and dancing featured in Grease, along with the mooning mishap, the car races, the prom, were part of the period that helped shape the American culture.

This cultural phenomenon that remained popular years following its release turned both Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta into huge stars everyone talked about. The single “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” performed by Newton-John, was nominated at the Oscars for original song.

But it wasn’t just these two who rose to stardom thanks to Grease.

Most of you remember the rebel Rizzo played by actress Stockard Channing.

When she landed the role, Channing was 34, and today, this beautiful lady is 79.

Some time ago, she appeared on Lorraine Kelly’s daytime talk show to promote her new West End show Apologia and people couldn’t believe how much she has changed over the years due to her age.

Among the rest, Channing spoke about Grease and said that it is incredible how people are still obsessed with it after so many years.

“I don’t really want to believe it! I don’t want to think about that number! I am the world’s oldest living teenager! It is a little daunting, coming out of the theatre with people shoving photos in your face,” she said when asked about the musical’s popularity.

People couldn’t help but comment Channing’s looks. Many said that she had gone through a number of plastic surgery procedures.

Some of the comments were, “What the hell had Rizzo done to her face?!?! (sic).”

When an article of her appearance on the talk show was posted by the Mirror, more people joined in expressing their thoughts on Channing’s looks and plastic surgery in general.

“It is such a shame that ( mainly) women feel they have to keep having various procedures to keep looking youth full. I bet she would have aged splendidly without all the fillers and pulling around she is an attractive woman.

“I see women in their seventies and eighties and they look lovely with wrinkles and their skin look nourished I don’t know why these celebrities bother why don’t they just except getting older.”

Kate Middleton is ‘slightly stricter’ than William when raising their children and shouting is ‘off limits’

Although they are born into the royalty, Kate and William’s children are not different than the rest of their peers and friends. The Prince and Princess of Wales do all in their power to provide as normal childhood as possible to their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and the youngest one, Prince Louis.

When it comes to George, who is second in line of succession to the British throne, it is known that he is already well aware of the future that awaits him. His parents make sure he knows he would become a king one day and expect from him to act accordingly when the time comes for such a huge role.

William and Kate tend to impose a healthy lifestyle on the kids, and that includes plenty of physical activities.

Prince George, for example, loves playing tennis just like his mother. What’s most, he even received private lessons from the Swiss tennis icon Roger Federer who confirmed that he visited George at the home of Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and according to him, the Prince has excellent technique.

“At that stage, it’s all about just touch the ball, it’s already good. Same with my boys. I think I have a little advantage that I actually spent some time, you know, with him,” Federer said.

“I’m the only player he’s ever met. Then you have a little head start in who is your favorite player.”

Princess Charlotte on the other hand is a fan of soccer.

Last year, she accompanied her parents at the Commonwealth Games. Shortly after, they visited a charity, SportsAid House, of which Kate has been a patron since 2013. Its chief executive, Tim Lawler, revealed what Charlotte’s favorite sport is.

“She really, really loved seeing the swimming, but she’s interested in the gymnastics, and while they’re trying lots of different sports at home, I understand, when I asked her about sport, she answered very easily and said, ‘It’s gymnastics that I like,’” he said.

“Charlotte is really into gymnastics, she’s doing cartwheels, handstands, everything,” the Princess of Wales said. “It’s so good for their basic skills of balance and coordination.”

Dad William added, “And their flexibility, it’s really good for their long-term health, isn’t it? We went to watch the Cirque du Soleil recently, it was amazing.”

The truth is that no matter that they are royals, George, Charlotte, and Louis are still just kids, and as expected, they act like ones. So what do their parents do when their children misbehave out in public?

Speaking of the way they raise their kids, an insider said that Kate and William decided to ban the “naughty step” in their home and use a “chat sofa” instead and they never shout at their children.

“The naughty child is taken away from the scene of the row or disruption and talked to calmly by either Kate or William,” the royal source said. “Things are explained and consequences outlined, and they never shout at them.”

The insider further added that “Shouting is absolutely off limits for the children, and any hint of shouting at each other is dealt with by removal.”

However, when it comes to who is slightly stricter, that appears to be Kate.

When George was born, the family welcomed in a nanny, Maria Borrallo, trained at the prestigious Norland College in Bath,who makes decisions regarding the children in keeping with William and Kate’s outlined wishes.

“Maria is firm, but she never acts unilaterally with the children on discipline. Kate and William, along with Maria, are strict with the children but have this magic ability to appear not to be,” the insider added.

“It is a military operation, but you would never guess it because they work ferociously hard on their children’s upbringing and make it seem relaxed and happy for the three of them.

“They are very good at listening to the children but being firm.”

When they join their parents on royal engagements, the kids always behave.

A member of the the exclusive athletic club, Hurlingham Club in Fulham, London, said that whenever the family visits the place, the kids act “impeccably.”

“The family often dine there al fresco and use the club’s sporting and play facilities,” he explained. “There is no tantrums or food throwing, and the children eat what is set before them.

“They queue up with the rest of the kids and parents in the Harness Room restaurant and ask for no special favours.”

Judging from what we see and hear of Kate and William’s parenting, it’s safe to say that they are doing an excellent job raising their children.

Royal fans are all saying the same thing about latest picture of Camilla

After nearly 90 years, a new queen consort would be crowned in Britain when Camilla, the wife of King Charles would be officially handed the role. The much-awaited coronation is set to take place on May 6, which happens to be the birth date of Archie, Harry and Meghan’s son.

When late Queen Elizabeth was crowned in 1954, over 8,000 guests were in attendance at the coronation, and 129 nations were officially represented. King Charles is now allegedly planning to significantly reduce that number on his coronation, according to reports.

The coronation, which is given the code-name “Operation Golden Orb,” will take place at Westminster Abbey, conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.

The statement regarding this special event Britain hasn’t seen since June 2, 1953, when Queen Elizabeth became the head of monarchy, states that King Charles’ coronation “will reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry.”

Further, the statement reads that “The Coronation is a solemn religious service, together with an occasion for celebration and pageantry.

“Across the Coronation Weekend, there will be further opportunities for people to come together in celebration of the historic occasion. On Sunday, May 7 2023, a special Coronation Concert will be staged and broadcast live at Windsor Castle by the BBC and BBC Studios, with several thousand pairs of tickets to be made available via public ballot,” Buckingham Palace added.

“The Coronation Big Lunch, at which neighbors and communities are invited to share food and fun together, will take place across the country on the same date.”

When it comes to Camilla, it is safe to say that her role in the royal family is a crucial one.

In a 1994 interview with Jonathan Dimbelby, then-Prince Charles revealed that he had been unfaithful to Princess Diana. By that point, Diana herself had spoken about it – but it was the first time Charles had confirmed the rumors.

Shortly after, Dimbelby released the authorized biography about Charles, published in the Sunday Times in which he wrote, “That they loved each other was not in any doubt. In Camilla Parker Bowles, the prince found the warmth, the understanding, and the steadiness for which he had always longed and had never been able to find with any other person.”

Back in the day when Britain, and practically the entire world learned of her affair with then-prince Charles, she was resented by the Brits. Many accused her of being the reason for the failed marriage between Charles and Diana, and they weren’t away from the truth.

Speaking to OK Magazine, royal expert Angela Levin, author of the 2022 book Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall: A Royal Survivor, revealed that Camilla had to endure “torrents” of mistreatment from the public as the affair was revealed. She didn’t even go to stores but had her friends running her errands for her.

Over the years, however, the people of Britain learned to love Camilla and her reputation has been growing.

A recent photo of Camilla, taken on Wednesday when the couple hosted a reception celebrating British East and South-East Asian communities at Buckingham Palace, confirms what we already knew of the Queen Consort. Namely, on the photos posted on the Royal Family’s Instagram account, Camilla could be seen smiling. It is very mush obvious that she is content with her life as a royal.

Many people took their time to comment on the photo which was captioned, “Guests at the Reception encompassed a plethora of fields, including the Armed Forces, the Arts, Media, Fashion, Business, Government, Finance, Healthcare, Faith organizations, charities, and more.”

Some of the comments were, “Queen Camilla looks so happy and radiant,” and “I love seeing the King and Queen with their family.” Others wrote, “Love their smiles!” and “Queen Consort looked lovely!”

The ‘older woman’ who took Prince Harry’s virginity steps forward: All you need to know about Sasha Walpole

Prince Harry’s all-tell memoir is still causing a stir and is attracting the attention of millions of people from all over the world.

Having in mind that the publishing house gave potential readers a hint that the book will include plenty of revelations related to the Prince’s personal life as well as to the members of the Firm, it doesn’t come as a surprise that many were eager to buy it and read all there is to read about the most famous family in the world.

Among the rest, Harry spoke of his relationship with Meghan and how he felt excluded from Prince George’s life when the little one was born. Harry went on to reveal his brother’s thoughts about Meghan and how they got into an argument which lead William to attack Harry.

Plenty was said, and many believe that Harry crossed the line, especially when it came to William and Kate’s children. What he wrote of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis was that he feared they could “end up” just like him.

“Though William and I have talked about it once or twice, and he has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility, I still feel a responsibility knowing that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare,” Harry said in an interview with The Telegraph.

“And that hurts, that worries me.

“I was brought into the world in case something happened to Willy, I was summoned to provide backup, distraction, diversion and, if necessary, a spare part. Kidney, perhaps. Blood transfusion. Speck of bone marrow. This was all made explicitly clear to me from the start of life’s journey and regularly reinforced thereafter.”

However, one of the most intriguing things Harry wrote about was his private life and the girlfriends he dated before tying the knot with Meghan Markle.

Between 2004 and 2010, Harry was involved in one of his longest relationships when he and Chelsy Davy were a couple. The two were said to have met during Harry’s gap year when he visited Cape Town, but in his book, he said that the two already knew each other when they reconnected in Africa. However, the couple split after 6 years of dating and Harry said the reason was a lack of privacy.

Moreover, he felt Davy had to change to fit into royal life.

“The whole world isn’t made to put up with constant scrutiny, and I don’t know if Chels could bear it, and I couldn’t ask her to,” Harry wrote in Spare, claiming that the paparazzi had even placed a tracking device on her car.

“Chels insisted that she was not sure if she was prepared for all of that. A whole life with someone on your heels? What could I say to her? I would miss her very much, but I understood she put her freedom first. If I had the choice, I’d want to live like that as well.”

Before settling down with Meghan, Harry also dated Florence Brudenell-Bruce and Cressida Bonas.

Besides his relationships, the Prince also revealed that he had lost his virginity to an ‘older woman’ in a field behind a pub when he was 17.

“A humiliating episode with an older woman who liked macho horses and who treated me like a young stallion,” Harry wrote about the experience, which occurred when he was a student at Eton in 2001.

“Quick ride, after which she’d smacked my rump and sent me off to graze. Among the many things about it that were wrong: It happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub. Obviously, someone had seen us.”

As expected, the press was eager to track down the woman. Allegedly, she turned out to be someone named Sasha Walpole.

Speaking to The Sun, Walpole revealed that she had previously only told her mother about her intimate time with Harry and added that the pub behind which Harry said he lost his virginity was the Vine Tree Inn in Wiltshire.

“I am the woman who took Harry’s virginity. It was literally wham-bam between two friends. [It was] passionate and sparky because we shouldn’t have been doing it,” Walpole said.

She then added: “We went outside, and both climbed a three-bar fence to the field. We were quite drunk at this point. I gave Harry a cigarette. I lit mine and then his. We finished our cigarettes – Marlboro Lights – and it just happened. He started to kiss me.”

“It was exciting that it was happening. It was exciting that it was happening like the way it was. We were away for 15 minutes, but the [intercourse lasted] about five minutes,” she explained, and added that they returned to the pub in separate directions.

“I went back over the fence through the garden. A lot of people were outside, as it was kicking-out time by the time we’d finished. My friends saw me and started laughing. I didn’t have my belt and it’s obvious when you come back a bit dishevelled from a field,” she said.

“We had been gone about 15 minutes, and it was long enough for the security to start worrying where he was.”

According to Sasha, she and Harry knew each other from before as she worked at the stable near then-Prince Charles’ residence, Highgrove Gouse.

They were celebrating Sasha’s birthday that evening and had tequila and sambuca. After the fling, they never spoke again.

“Harry and I never texted or rang each other after that. I didn’t mind. I wasn’t embarrassed,” Sasha said.

“Was I disappointed he didn’t ring? No. It was circumstances, we weren’t going out, we didn’t need to ring each other.”

Following her initial interview with The Sun, Sasha then spoke to Daily Mail and said she didn’t remember the night to be as glorious as Harry described it.

“I don’t understand why he went into such detail. He could have said that he lost his virginity and left it at that,” she said.

“He has done this to my privacy because I was going to keep my head down and not talk about it. If it wasn’t in the book, none of this would be happening.”

She further told The Sun, “It is awkward because of what Harry has written about me slapping his bum, really cringey. It flared up because of the way Harry has written it. That is why I am in this situation.”

As a young girl, Scott suffered years of sexual and mental abuse under the guardianship of her grandmother who was supposed to raise her.

She finally decided to open up about her childhood in her book Always Young and Restless: My Life On and Off America’s #1 Daytime Drama. The details she revealed were horrifying, to say the least, and many felt sorry for everything Scott was forced to endure.

Speaking to People, the actress said, “I’m sure many people will be shocked to learn that I have that kind of background. They’ve seen me in their living room every day for 41 years, they believe I’m my character Nikki Newman and my life is perfect.” The Emmy award nominee also said that she worked on her trauma ‘piece by piece’ through mediation and therapy.

When her mother left her with her grandparents, they weren’t fond of her. While her grandfather barely had any contact with her and stayed at the attic most of the time, her grandmother pushed Scott into the showbiz and she started acting at the age of just three. Sadly, she was often sexually abused by different men and her grandma did nothing to prevent that.

“You see, my grandmother was so ambitious for me (and her) to succeed that anything that I had to do to maybe get ahead in the business was fair play,” Scott said. “It didn’t have to be a director or a producer, either. A grip, a boom operator, it didn’t matter. In her naiveté, any man in showbiz was one who could help us.”

Scott never forgave her grandmother for turning a blind eye to the sexual abuse she experienced many times in her life. “I’m not ready for that … I don’t know if I ever will because when they are aware, they become complicit and that to me is evil,” she told Page Six. “You don’t allow that to happen to a small child.”

When it came to the crew and the actors she was working with, they all treated her nicely and that gave her a sense of normalcy she didn’t experience at home.

The actress added how she believes her grandmother was mentally ill and in case she was diagnosed and treated things could have been different.

Woman tells stepdaughter to move out, gets evicted after failing to realize she owns the house

I am certain that each and every family out there has had issues at certain point in their life. The thing is that family disputes are more common than we think and the reasons for it can be various. Sometimes, members simply don’t get along and have different points of view regarding important decisions that need to be made.

However, in order to reach peace, they sometimes need to get over things and learn how to forgive as well as never forget that communication is the key to a healthy relationship.

An internet user took to Reddit to ask complete strangers whether she was the a***ole for kicking her father and her step-mother from the house. The OP wrote, “Am I The A**hole?” and hoped to receive the support of the internet community.

Of course, without reading the entire story, one would immediately judge the OP, but wait until you learn the reasons behind her decision before you tell us what you think.

“My family lives in my grandparents’ house just outside the city on an acreage. My dad works out of town and my mom liked having the help with me and she liked helping out her folks. My mom passed away from cancer about 12 years ago […] dad still had to work so I just kept living with my grandparents. My dad always spent time with me when he was home. I wish my mom hadn’t passed but I had a pretty good life.

When he was home he would stay in their old room or we would go on vacations. My grandparents both passed away over the last couple of years from COVID and complications. My mom was an only child and so am I […] mom’s life insurance went to my dad, and he used it to help renovate the house. My grandparents never charged him rent. Sorry, I realize how confusing this is. Anyways I am the only person in my grandmother’s will. I got money and the house and my grandpa’s truck.”

As you can see, the woman posting the story lost her mother at a young age and went through heartbreak, but her parents, as well as her dad, took great care of her and she never missed anything.

“My dad started dating a couple of years after my mom passed away. He never brought anyone to the house until this last one. She is young but pretty[…] So she’s been living with me for about six months. Now she just got pregnant. My dad asked her to marry him. I’m happy for him. He is a great dad. My stepmom-to-be has started in on me about when I’m going to move out since they will need my room for the baby. My dad never told her the house is mine […] I told her it was my house and I’m not giving up my room. I also said that my dad had a fair amount of savings and could probably buy them a house.”

Sharing this, OP asked if she should feel guilty for asking her dad and her step-mom to move out of her house.

There were plenty of responses, and most of the users said that OP shouldn’t feel bad about her decision, because at the end of the day, it’s her home and she is the one to decided who to share it with.

“The house is yours. That is just a reality. You are not moving out. That is another reality. She offered you her apartment at a discount- this is funny considering she is living in your home for free,” someone wrote. Another user added, “Facts are facts. You’re not leaving them without options, and she wasn’t leaving you without one (although, it irks me a bit that she wanted you to rent her apartment). Doesn’t sound like there will be bad blood. Rest easy.” To this, OP responded with, “My dad has like 20 years of savings to pay for a house. They aren’t going to be homeless.”

Dolly Parton grew up ‘dirt poor’ and she now generously donates to charities

Dolly Parton is without a doubt one of the most iconic singers that have ever walked this Earth.

She isn’t just a blond bombshell whose incredible looks mesmerized millions over the years, but also a strong woman with an incredible personality with a sense of humor and a big heart who has always spoken openly about everything in her life. And that is one of the reasons why her career spans that many years.

This country music legend who is a songwriter, businesswoman, and humanitarian among the rest, has given the world of country music a lot over the years.

Born on January 19, 1946, in Locust Ridge, Tennessee, as one of 12 children, Dolly Parton‘s family struggled to make ends meet at times, but they were very close and the children grew up in a loving home where music was always present.

Her father was a share cropper and the family lived in a tiny cabin so she and her siblings spent most of their time playing outside.

“We were dirt poor but wonderfully joyful,” she once said of her family.

Dolly first saw a toilet when she was eight years old, while visiting her aunt’s place. She recalled that she was afraid to use it because she thought it would suck her down.

As we all know, she turned to be one of the most famous female musicians there are with a career spanning many decades, but Dolly never forgets where she came from and how family struggled in the early days of her life.

When speaking of her life and her music, she often brings up recollections from her childhood and says, “My love for my family will never end,” and adds that it “is always there and directs me in whatever I do.”

It is believed that she has earned over $600 million over the course of her life, a net worth that she is more than willing to share with others.

Dolly is involved in more charities that one could possibly imagine and donates money wherever and whenever there is need.

In 1988, she started the Dollywood Foundation whose goal is to grant scholarships to children. Her contribution to the community through the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has been immense. Dolly created this initiative back in 1995 as a homage to her late father. It started in Tennessee, but spread throughout the country, delivering over 1.3 million books to over 2 million children each month. In 2018, the initiative reached a milestone when the 100 millionth book was distributed.

During the battle against the coronavirus, Dolly donated a million dollars to help create the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

Dolly’s kindness knows no limits. When things go wrong, she’s always there to do it all in her power in order to make them right.

In 2016, she helped raise $9 million after the devastating Great Smoky Mountains wildfire through her My People Fund initiative.

When her niece battled leukemia, Dolly donated millions to the hospital where she was treated, the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Over the years, she has made generous donations to several causes, including the American Red Cross, HIV/AIDS charities and various animal rights organizations.

The list of Dolly’s donations and kind deeds is pretty long and hard to beat.

She says she loves being there for those in need of help and adds that she’s “addicted to the sensation of giving,” and enjoys “knowing that I’m making a difference in the lives of others.”

Dolly Parton is truly one of a kind. It doesn’t come as a surprise that she is loved and adored by millions.

Sad news regarding Scott Bakula, a beloved actor

After seven seasons, NCIS: New Orleans, which first premiered back in 2014, was canceled in 2021. This was a huge blow for the many fans, as well as the cast who had been working together for many years.

One of the greatest stars of the show was actor Scott Bakula, who felt nostalgic. Following the cancellation, Bakuta said, “Sad to end our love affair with this phenomenal city but so grateful for all the friends we made along the way. I will miss the music. Big thank you to CBS for seven years.”

According to Newsweek, the reasons behind the cut was low ratings.

Besides being part of this show, Bakula has also landed roles which are considered iconic, such as that of Dr. Samuel Beckett on the NBC sci-fi show Quantum Leap. The show let the character live through other people by “walking in another man or woman’s shoes,” after the scientist had an experiment in time travel go wrong and he was stuck randomly “leaping” into the bodies of strangers. The people used Beckett’s body to fix different historical wrongs.

When he was starting his career back in the day, Bakula didn’t see himself as part of Hollywood as it was theater that has always been a dream of his. When he pursued that type of career he was just 22 and just seven years later, he found himself playing the role of Joe DiMaggio in Marilyn: An American Fable. Other productions he was part of are Three Guys Naked From The Waist Down, Nightclub Confidential, Romance/Romance, and a lot more.

Yet, the role of Samuel Beckett in Quantum Leap is considered by many one of his most memorable ones.

As news of a reboot of the series spread around, many of Bakula’s fans were eager to see their favorite actor re-do the famous role, but to their devastation, Bakula said he won’t be returning to the series. He, however, gave the reboot his full blessing, saying, “I am crossing my fingers that this new cast and crew are lucky enough to tap into the magic that propelled the original Quantum Leap into the hearts and minds of generations past and present.” Bakula continued, “I wish them good luck and happy leaping!”

When it comes to his private life, he tends to keep it exactly that; private. He rarely speaks of himself and doesn’t share many things. “People Magazine wanted to interview me at my house for a hundred million years,” he said while promoting “NCIS: New Orleans” in 2016. “Where do you draw the line?”

Bakula has been married twice in his life. His first marriage, to Krista Neumann, who is best known for her role in the 1982 film Silver Spoons, seemed picture-perfect so when the two divorced in 1995, many were left surprised. The reason why was probably the fact that he spent plenty of time away from home because of work commitment.

In 2009, Bakuta married his second wife, Chelsea Field. The are still together.

Tori Roloff shares update on husband Zach after he undergoes emergency brain surgery: ‘A scary 72 hours’

Little People, Big World star Zach Roloff has undergone an emergency brain surgery as confirmed by his wife Tori.

In a post she shared on Instagram, Tori posted two photos of her husband in the hospital bed and wrote, “Not exactly how we saw our week going… Zachary had emergency shunt revision this morning.

“They say it’s routine surgery but it’s far from my routine and Zach and I are nervous,” added Tori. “It feels big to us but we trust his doctors and their ability and knowledge! Any prayers are greatly appreciated!”

Once the surgery was over, Tori posted an update. “It’s been a scary 72 hours but he is doing well and recovering!!”

She then thanked her husband’s neurosurgeon team for “their attentiveness to Zach’s needs!”

“We feel so loved and supported by you,” she continued. “Also shout out to [Zach’s mother Amy Roloff] for holding down the fort and playing hide n seek for who knows how many hours.”

Tori then added, “I’m here praying that Zach’s recovery is quick and easy and that this will be our answered prayers to relieving his migraines! You’re a freaking bad ass, Zach. You just had brain surgery… and handled it like a rock star. I’m so proud of you. Jeremiah 17:14 #storyofzachandtori.”

Even before Tori posted about Zach’s surgery, fans knew something wasn’t right as Zach’s father, Matt, shared a photo of his 32-year-old son and asked for well-wishes and prayers.

Tori and Zach share three children together, Jackson, 5, Lilah, 3, and 9-month-old Josiah.

The Roloff family hopes that this surgery would help put an end to Zach’s health issues.

“I’m here praying that Zach’s recovery is quick and easy and that this will be our answered prayers to relieving his migraines!” Tori wrote.

“You’re a freaking bad ass, Zach. You just had brain surgery… and handled it like a rockstar. I’m so proud of you.”

6-yr-old boy dies and leaves blue stain on carpet: years later, mom makes heartbreaking discovery

Mothers face great number of challenges on a daily basis. They don’t have it easy as they are constantly torn between cleaning sticky hands and faces, piles of laundry, feeding the kids and getting them ready for school, and a bunch of other duties and errands they have to run over and over again during the day.

No matter how much they try to have everything done, there is always a mess coming from around the corner such as spilled milk, scattered toys you are very much likely to step on, and stains all over the place. Having a quick shower before going to bed or taking some time for yourself is a luxury not many mothers can afford.

A woman named Heather Duckworth who went through all these struggles and joys of being a mother, had recently shared a touching post about the things we take for granted while raising our kids. All these messes they leave behind are inseparable part of the process of growing up in front of our eyes and becoming the people we always hoped they’ll become. That is why, no matter how hard and impossible that seems, we have to strive to find the joy between the messes our little ones make, for one day they will be the greatest reminder of the childhood we as parents provided for them. Unfortunately, there are women out there who don’t get to experience the chaos and the clutter children make, or bereaved parents who lost their little trouble maker and now those masses are just a reminder of the child once made their life complete.

Heather’s post titled “The Blue Stain” that has gone viral touched the hearts of many mothers and mothers-to-be.

As Heather was trying to scrub the grout her daughter made with the slime, her heart started bouncing as she recalled the mess she had to clean years ago.

This mother of two-year-old triplets and a four-year-old big brother would spend most of her days chasing her kids, picking toys after them, making sure no one gets hurt in the piles of laundry she couldn’t do that day because of the many other things she had to take care of, but as she says,“My hands were full, but so was my heart.”

That evening, before going to bed, Heather and her boys were dancing to the music coming from the radio as they were putting the toys in their place. None of them could imagine that would be the last time in a while they had so much fun.

Just as she though the boys were getting to sleep and she gets some time to rest herself, she heard one of the kids say, “Uh, Oh” and that’s when she discovered the big blue stain that will remain with her forever. One of the triplets was clutching a pen that exploded in his hand and sprayed ink all over the place. The little boy resembled a smurf as his hands, face, and his pajamas were all colored in a bright blue color. Seeing this, Heather got frustrated and felt as though she failed at her mother’s role. She wasn’t mad at her son, but she blamed herself for placing the pen in the reach of the children. She let her emotions take over.

“I gasped as I saw blue splatters across the floor and a thick pool of ink sinking into our carpet – our brand new carpet. I quickly yelled for my husband, who had been doing the dishes, to come and help me. I instantly felt so upset as I grabbed my son and took him to the bathroom to clean him up and my husband started scrubbing those bright blue stains on our carpet.”

The stain couldn’t be cleaned from the brand new carpet, and any time Heather would notice that stain, she would feel frustration an anger all over again. Until the day the stain remained a symbol of all the beautiful moments she could spend with her boys.

Only one month after the blue stain got on their carpet, the boy who made that mess was diagnosed with cancer, and two years later he passed away, leaving the stain behind him to remind his loved ones of the time they spent together.

“It was still there . . . and now . . . it was a constant reminder of my son. It was a constant reminder of my frustration over something so trivial . . . something so unimportant in the scheme of life.
That blue stain was a constant reminder that life is messy, but that’s what makes it worth living. A constant reminder to not sweat the small stuff. A constant reminder that ‘things’ aren’t important, but people are. A constant reminder that accidents happen. A constant reminder to let go of the little things and hang on tight to what is important.”

She tried hiding that stubborn bright blue stain under the furniture but every time she would clean the place it would stare back at her, reminding her of her pain and her loss.

Heather’s story is there to teach us that we very often take things for granted and fail to enjoy the little things in life that make us who we are. She wants to tell all the mothers out there that the piles of laundry and toys are what make the house a home. Those messes are created by the most important people in our life; those messes Heather refers to as “a blessing in disguise” are what make our lives worth living because there comes a time when we dearly miss those moments. “I would have a million blue ink stains on my carpet if it meant I could have one more day with my son.”

Her message for the mothers is that they mustn’t allow to be absorbed by what is happening around them because that wouldn’t let them enjoy the time with their children. Always focus on what is important, because life is too short to spend it on rubbing stains.

Mom of black and white boys often gets asked which one of them is hers

Meet Daniel and David, identical, yet quite different twin brothers from Nigeria. Although they share same parents, and both have big brown eyes, these cute siblings have contrasting skin and hair color. Daniel is black, just like his mom, dad, and his older sister, while David is white and has golden-colored hair, result of albinism, a genetic condition affecting 1 in 20,000 people.

Their mother, Stacy, said that none of the scans showed David was different from his twin brother, so when the boys were delivered everyone was quite shocked. Speaking to Bored Panda, she revealed how the first thing doctors told her was “It seems you are having totally unidentical twins.”

People with albinism are likely to experience health issues, including ones related to their vision, but according to the proud mother, David is perfectly healthy.

She also shared how her husband reacted after seeing his boys for the first time.

“Their dad was really overwhelmed and immediately named My Twin 2 (David) ‘Golden,’ so he fondly calls him Mr. Golden. He was all overjoyed seeing his boys. He stood for more than 10 minutes staring at them and said he was just looking at God’s wonderful work and that they are his best gift ever,” she told Bored Panda.

The family receives a lot of attention but there are never any mean comments regarding David’s unique appearance.

“There’re always side talks whenever we go out, people often wanna know how and what’s happening and maybe due to their cute and adorable nature, you just wanna come close to say hello,” Stacy shared.

Wanting to allow her sons tell a story, one of understanding and appreciation, Stacy opened an Instagram account for them. There, she shares lots of beautiful photos of her little jewels. So far, they have around 26K followers from all over the world. They also get offers from a bunch of modeling agencies, mostly from the UK.

Daniel and David steal the hearts of everyone who stumbles upon their photos. We truly believe they will make successful models one day if their parents decide to accept any of the offers.

His endless energy, fearless approach to comedy, and incredible ability to fully embody a character makes Jim Carrey one of the most-loved Hollywood personalities.

Carrey made his professional debut as a stand-up comedian in a Toronto club at the age of just 15 and soon after, he was able to make a living as a comedian.

Over the years, he’s played plenty of iconic roles which made him a fan-favorite.

However, his decades-long career seems to be coming to an end, because according to the actor himself, “he’s had enough.”

It was during a conversation about his latest movie, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, that the 60-year-old star revealed to Access Hollywood that he is “retiring” from acting. During this same interview, Carrey was told how icon Dolly Parton would love to see him portraying her former music partner Porter Wagoner in a Parton biopic, to what he replied that “it’s a lovely thing,” obviously caught by surprise. “But I’m retiring,” he added, to everyone’s disappointment.

Asked by host Kit Hoover whether he truly meant what he said, The Cable Guy star said: “I’m being fairly serious.” He then went on to explain it jokingly: “It depends. If the angels bring some sort of script that’s written in gold ink, that says to me that it’s going to be really important for people to see, I might continue down the road. But I’m taking a break.”

It seems that in recent years, Carrey has been more focused on his spiritual side and painting than doing movies. He truly enjoys the quieter life.

“I really like my quiet life, and I really like putting paint on canvas. And I really love my spiritual life. And I feel like, and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists, I have enough,” Carrey told Access Hollywood. “I’ve done enough. I am enough.”

Following his retirement plan, Carrey is going through yet another change in his life. It has been revealed recently that after 30 years, he’s selling his Los Angeles mansion which spans on 12,700 square feet and is located in the Brentwood neighborhood.

The actor bought the lavish place back in 1994 for $3.8 million, and today, almost three decades later, it’s on the market for whooping $28.9 million, as reported by The New York Times.

“For three decades it’s been a sanctuary for me but I don’t spend a lot of time there now and I want someone else to enjoy it like I have,” Carrey was reported to have said. “Every night the owls sang me lullabies and every morning I sipped my cup of joe with the hawks and hummingbirds, under a giant grandfather pine.”

The place is enormous and very well decorated. The living room, the dining room, and the family rooms have massive ceilings, skylights, fireplaces, and glass doors that lead to a courtyard patio whereas the kitchen has a breakfast room with a breathtaking view of pear trees.

The outside is as enchanting as the interior of the place. There is a bricked pathway lined with shady trees and small bushes as well as a pool with a pool house containing a bar. The oasis is also equipped with a spa area.
