Taylor Swift, the 14-time Grammy winner, has been a regular at boyfriend Travis Kelce’s NFL games this season. As expected, she was in attendance at the 58th Super Bowl at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.
After winning the Album of the Year Grammy, the Cruel Summer singer flew to Tokyo for her record-breaking Eras Tour where she had four sold-out shows while Travis stayed home preparing for the big game.
However, her not being in the States didn’t stop Taylor from packing her things and returning home to support her boyfriend.
The couple’s blossoming relationship has remained in the public eye for months now and no one was surprised to see the singer among those who cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
After his team claimed their fourth-ever Super Bowl title, Travis treated the crowd with a rousing rendition of ‘Viva Las Vegas’ before linking up to celebrate the victory with his girlfriend.

The couple was seen cuddling and kissing after the he lifted the Lombardi Trophy.
According to reports, an expert analyzed the couple’s shared body language and concluded that neither Taylor nor Travis are reluctant to show affection in public.
“I was sceptical of this relationship in the early stages, but because she is so full on now, with her emotions, I think this is a real relationship,” Darren Stanton, a specialist on the subject, said.
“She is being honest and constant in her emotions and sentiments about Travis. This is not a publicity stunt; it is a real friendship.”
According to the expert, it is Taylor who’s more at ease at showing her feelings publicly than he was.
“From a non-verbal perspective, it’s as if she’s more into him, or she’s much more comfortable with public displays of affection than he is,” said Stanton.
“At the end of the day, this is his opportunity; this is what his career is all about. This is the most crucial night of his life, and she should grasp it as well.
“She’s got her arms wrapped around him completely, it’s quite gushy, she appears to be quite emotional here – it’s very interesting behaviour.”

Molly Sampson, a nine-year-old 4th grader from Prince Frederick, Maryland, discovered the find of a lifetime while spending time at the Calvert Beach on Christmas morning.
This paleontologist in the making enjoys combing Maryland’s beaches for shark teeth because as she says, “They’re just cool because they’re really old.” Sweet Molly inherited her fascination with fossils from her dad. “She loves treasure hunting,” Molly’s mom, Alicia Sampson, said of her daughter.
Over the years, Molly has collected more than 400 fossilized shark teeth, but her recent find is so fascinating that the story of it vent viral in a matter of days. Namely, this fossil hunter found an enormous, 5-inch-long, chomper belonging to a megalodon, the largest shark to ever swim Earth’s oceans.
The family took the enormous tooth to Stephen Godfrey, a curator of paleontogloy at Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons, who confirmed that Molly’s once-in-a-lifetime find belonged to a megalodon. “Dr. Godfrey explained to Molly that the shark would’ve been the size of a Greyhound bus,” Alicia said. “Molly didn’t know what that was so she looked it up and could not believe it.”
Speaking of the moment she spotted the tooth, Molly told NPR, “I went closer, and in my head, I was like, ‘Oh, my, that is the biggest tooth I’ve ever seen!'” She then added: “I reached in and grabbed it, and dad said I was shrieking.”
According to Godfrey, the tooth Molly found came from the upper left jaw of a megalodon that was probably 45 to 50 feet long and lived about 15 million years ago. “It basically evolved those kinds of teeth so that it could cut out pieces, just like great white sharks do,” Godfrey says. “They sort of chomp the carcass of their prey” rather than swallowing it whole.
The name “Megalodon” includes two Greek words that translate to “giant tooth,” and the one Molly found measures the size of her hand.
As Molly’s story spread around, her family decided to use it as a way to remind young children like their daughter of the importance of spending more time out in the nature.
“We really want to reach other kids and get them excited about like being outside,” Alicia said.

While business mogul and former president of the U.S.A, Donald Trump, faces charges and his family is there to provide support, the world hasn’t heard a peep from his wife, Melania, who according to reports, won’t be supporting him in the courtroom.
“Melania is leading her own life and still feels happy being at Mar-a-Lago, surrounded by people who love her and who never talk about reality or bad things about her husband,” a source told People.
The investigation by the Manhattan district attorney’s office, which began while Trump was still serving as president, is related to a $130,000 payment made by Trump’s then-personal attorney Michael Cohen to adult film star Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 elections. Allegedly, Trump tried to prevent Daniels from going public about an alleged affair with him years earlier. He has denied ever having an affair with Daniels.
Trump is now facing 34 felony counts for falsification of business records.

Melania has not been present at any hearings or when her husband had been indicted. Instead, she opted to stay at their Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, spending time with their son, Barron Trump, whom she tries to shield from the media coverage his father is getting.
“The family was very involved in the past two campaigns for president, so I’d think they would be involved again. From a distance, it seems that Melania became less enthusiastic about this role as the controversies and the scandals mounted, so I don’t know how involved she’ll want to be this time around,” political expert Grant Reeher told the Mirror in January. “And she may be keen to guard Barron from becoming too exposed. Once you draw on your family, they become fair game for the media and opposition research.”
Reeher added, “His other adult children and in-laws were very keen to be involved in both his campaigns and his White House administration, and I see no reason why they wouldn’t want to do that again.”
Although it’s known that Melania spends her days in Florida, her husband’s recent actions made people turn against her.

Namely, during a rally on Saturday in South Carolina, Donald Trump shared the story the time Nikki Hailey, his political opponent who runs to become the Republican presidential candidate for the 2024 presidential election, saying that she had met him at Mar-a-Lago in the past but without her husband.
“Then she comes over to see me at Mar-a-Lago. ‘Sir, I will never run against you.’ She brought her husband. Where’s your husband? Oh, he’s away. He’s away. What happened to her husband? What happened to her husband? Where is he? He’s gone! He knew. He knew,” Trump said.
This attack made headlines because Hailey’s husband is deployed in Africa with the South Carolina Army National Guard to support the United States Africa Command, his second active-duty deployment overseas, as per CNN.

Hailey said she was proud of her husband, adding that Donald Trum’s comments were “disgusting” and “awful.
“If you don’t respect our military, how should we think you’re going to respect them when it comes to times of war, and prevent war and keep them from going?” Haley said. “If you don’t have respect for our military and our veterans, God help us all if that’s the case.”
This made many wonder where Melania was, because she’s also rarely seen by her husband’s side, especially during his trials and capmaigns.

On Saturday night, Melania attended the Trumpettes gala and walked ahead of her husband while waving to the crowd.
In front of the attendees, Trump spoke of his wife and said, “First of all, our great first lady.” He also said that just like him, his wife also wants “to make America great again.”

In the midst of undergoing treatment for the cancer he was diagnosed with during the procedure for enlarged prostate, King Charles remains stoic.
His diagnosis came as a shock to the 75-year-old monarch, as well as to his close family and the people of Britain.
After returning to London for further treatment, King Charles made the 150-mile trip back to the royal estate of Sandringham, where he was spotted without his Queen, who had royal duties to attend to.

The King, dressed in a smart suit and tie, waved to well-wishers who had gathered outside Buckingham Palace and along the Mall on February 14 as he began his journey back to Sandringham.
“When the King visits Sandringham, it’s a place where he can get some solace. One of the tour guides mentioned how he enjoys having his breakfast tea and afternoon tea in front of the backdrop of his beautiful gardens. Even when the house is open and he is staying there, the King tends to reside upstairs,” a royal source shared with Hello Magazine.
His return to London was a second one that he took for the cause of receiving treatment, and he’s expected to undergo another treatment later this month, as per Daily Express.
The King’s exact form of cancer remains unknown. It is also unknown at what stage he is.
Buckingham Palace’s initial statement read: “During the King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.
“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties. Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.”

A source told the Daily Mail that King Charles is “on good form,” but besides that, it is expected that he takes a longer absence from his royal duties.
His younger son, Prince Harry, who returned to Britain for a visit with his father shortly after his diagnosis was revealed, was reported to have offered to step in and play a role while his father receives cancer treatment. However, Buckingham Palace aides reportedly said there was “zero per cent chance” that Prince Harry could be allowed to be working for the royal family during his father’s illness.

The bond between grandparents and their grandchildren is an important link to both the family’s history and the child’s personal growth.
Grandparents provide unconditional love and support, and a shoulder to cry on during the toughest of times.
One grandma took to Reddit to ask if she was wrong for helping one of her grandchildren delve deeper into her heritage.
When her granddaughter was born, the grandma hadn’t seen her during the six months of her life because her son and her daughter-in-law were abroad.
The girl, Lindsey, wasn’t the couple’s first child. She was born second, and the family welcomed another child later.

As time went by, everyone started realizing that Lindsey didn’t resemble her siblings at all. While they were darker and had brown eyes and dark hair, Lindsey had curly blonde hair.
One day, the grandma decided to ask her son and her daughter-in-law about Lindsey, saying there was something fishy about the way she became part of the family. Her son got really angry at his mom for questioning his daughter’s heritage, claiming she was indeed their biological child.
When Lindsay turned 15, she also started realizing that she was very different from her siblings.
One day, during biology class, Lindsay approached her teacher and started asking her about the ways she could learn whether she was indeed her parents’ child. The teacher told her everything there is about DNA testing, and Lindsay was determined to take one, but the issue was that she didn’t have the money for something like that.
When she told her grandma about her doubts and her wish to learn more about herself, her grandma was more than willing to pay for the test.

Eventually, it was determined that Lindsay and her siblings didn’t share the same mother. Lindsay’s father got another woman pregnant while married to his wife, and when the woman gave birth to Lindsay, she gave her to her father to raise her.
“This has blown up the family while Lindsey is pissed to being lied to, I am getting a ton of heat for getting her a DNA test. Now they won’t talk to me which is making Lindsey even more mad at them,” the grandma wrote in her post.
While some took the stand that the grandma shouldn’t have done what she did, many praised her for helping her granddaughter learn the truth about herself.

The complex nature of family relations sometimes culminates with feuds and broken relationships that are hard to be repaired.
A bride-to-be did an innocent mistake when she allowed her mother in-law to wear a white gown to her wedding, not anticipating that it would lead to a dispute with her future husband.
Writing on Reddit, the woman explained that she was Indian and that they would be having a traditional Indian wedding, which meant she would be wearing a traditional red dress, so when her MIL asked her if she could wear white, the woman said “Yes.”

However, when she told her fiance about it, he got extremely mad. He said that she shouldn’t have agreed on his mom wearing a white dress and that she should have consulted him first. He believed that his mother, who happened to be an extreme narcissist who wanted to steal the spotlight.
Next, he asked OP to call his mother and tell her she couldn’t wear white or else she was banned from the wedding.
OP couldn’t understand what the issue was, since her dress would be created from a special type of silk and embroidery that would be very distinctive from whatever her MIL would choose to wear.

Eventually, OP and her fiance made up after she showed him all the comments under her Reddit post which said that the day was all about them and that his mom’s choice of outfit shouldn’t be a reason for arguments between them.

Trump stepped up the race for the 2024 presidency with some rather startling comments on several world issues, and his wife was spotted by his side at the Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. He has won both the Iowa Caucuses and the New Hampshire Republican primary, and most points toward him becoming the Republican candidate for the 2024 Presidential election, but at the same time, he’s splitting his time between the campaign trail and the courtroom.
Recently, Trump testified in the E. Jean Carroll defamation trial, in which the former advice columnist and freelance writer is accusing Trump of sexually assaulting her in the 1990s.

Some of Trump’s comments cause quite a stir in the media. Among the rest, he was reported saying that he ‘would encourage’ Russia to attack NATO allies who do not pay their bills.
“NATO was busted until I came along,” Trump said at the rally held in Conway, South Carolina. “I said, ‘Everybody’s gonna pay.’ They said, ‘Well, if we don’t pay, are you still going to protect us?’ I said, ‘Absolutely not.’ They couldn’t believe the answer.”
Asked by “one of the presidents of a big country” if US would be willing to protect them in case they are “invaded” by Russia although they “don’t pay,” Trump was reported to have answered, “No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You got to pay. You got to pay your bills.”
During the last month, Melania suffered a personal tragedy when her mother passed away.
“Amalija Knavs was a strong woman who always carried herself with grace, warmth, and dignity,” the former First Lady said.

In the statement she released, Melania further wrote about her late mother that “[Amalija] was entirely devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson, and son-in-law.
“We will miss her beyond measure and continue to honor and love her legacy.”
The news of Amalija’s ill state came to light when Melania was missing from the Christmas family photo. Back then, Donald Trump explained that his wife was absent because she was caring for her mother whose health deteriorated.
Amalija Knavs and her husband, Viktor, became US citizens in 2018 after living in the US on green cards sponsored by their daughter.
Melania’s parents have always been by her and her sister’s side. They have been very supportive and did all in their power to provide a good life for their daughters. Even when they were very young, Amalija and Viktor took Melania and her sister Ines to trips around Europe, including France, Germany, and Italy.

When Trump became the President, Melania gave speech in the White House Rose Garden in which she thanked her parents.
“My parents worked very hard to ensure our family could not only live and prosper in America but also contribute to a nation that allows for people to arrive with a dream and make it a reality,” she said. “I want to take the moment to thank my mother and father for all that they have done for our family. It is because of you that I am standing here today.”
In 2021, some of Melania’s friends reported that she allegedly told them she didn’t want to be a First Lady again.
“Being the first lady again is not what she wants,” one person close to the Trump family told CNN back in September.
“For her, it was a chapter — and it’s over, and that’s that.”

Melania, just like Ivanka Trump, believes her place doesn’t belong into politics.
“You’re not going to see her at rallies or campaign events, even if he ‘officially’ says he’s running again,” another person said.
“Instead it’s going to be Lara (Eric Trump’s wife) or Kimberly Guilfoyle (Donald Trump Jr’s girlfriend). They have that same urge Trump has to run again; Melania absolutely does not.”

Linda Gray, who played the legendary role of Sue Ellen Ewing in the hit show Dallas, had a life filled with excitement and a number of obstacles.
Recalling her childhood in Culver City, California, she says how being given the chance to hang out with her friends around the filming studios triggered something in her that made her fall in love with acting. Her father, whom she describes as a rather cold person was always supportive of her career. Her mother used to be a heavy alcoholic while Linda and her sister were growing up so they had to take care of the house for long.
“She wasn’t falling down drunk, there was never any yelling,” Linda wrote in her book The Path to Happiness is Always Under Construction. “She wasn’t mean – she was just blurred, in her own world, she would forget to buy food so I started doing the cooking. My sister and I didn’t like her.”

Linda married her first and only husband, whom she separated with in 1983, photographer Edward Lee Thrasher, when she was 21. They had two children together, and although she enjoyed being a mother, it was her husband who somehow stood in her way of making a career in acting.

Although she was part of many commercials, it took Linda quite some time to finally gather the courage to attend acting classes.
In 1967, Linda was paid $25 to be Anne Bancroft’s body double in the poster for the film The Graduate not knowing that years later, or in 2001 to be exact, she would end up playing Mrs Robinson in the West End State production of The Graduate.

During the 1960s, she got a rejection letter from the Glamour Magazine, but that only made her more determined to succeed. “It was so funny that I kept that letter,” she wrote. “I kept the letter because I realized that we all have rejections, and it was her opinion when I was 20 years old. I could have had it devastate my life. But, I didn’t. This feisty streak came out – ‘Oh, yeah? I’m gonna show you!’ With great love and a lot of humor, I kept that letter. It kicked me from behind, and made me want to go and do something.”
After playing small roles, Linda finally got the one that marked her career, that of Sue Ellen Ewing. She appeared in total of 308 episodes on Dallas and played alongside Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy.
Speaking of her relationship with Hagman, Linda told CM Chat Live: “He was the bad big brother that I never had. He was always doing something in my mind wrong – he was drinking too much, or whatever, and I would reprimand him, he loved that, he loved to do something just to make me crazy. I’d say ‘Don’t eat that. You don’t need that much sugar, and stop drinking.’”
In fact, when Linda was briefly fired from the show for asking for a higher pay, it was Hagman who demanded she gets back.

For her legendary performance in Dallas, Linda received numerous awards, including two Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress – Television Series Drama, as well as a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress.
Her son, Jeff Thrasher, followed into her footsteps and worked as a director. Sadly, he was diagnosed with leukemia and passed away in 2020. Linda was devastated. She had a hard time coping with the loss. Recently, she paid tribute to Jeff writing: “A celebration of my son Jeff’s life. He was the kindest, funniest, sweetest human being….. he brought the world such love and was loved by everyone! May his journey be a magical one.”
We are very sorry for her loss. Linda is doing her best to live her life without her son. She is 82 years old and is looking as stunningly beautiful as always.

The Daily Mail claim reports that the Hollywood star was recently sighted at a party in Mayfair, London with 36-year-old Elsina Khayrova, daughter to a Russian MP. Khayrova who was previously married to Dmitry Tsvetkov.

Cruise and Khayrova’s appearance at the event sparked excitement at the rest of the attendees.
“Cruise was very friendly – he kept being asked for pictures and politely declining,” the Mail’s source added.
Khayrova divorced her tycoon husband earlier this year. She’s a former model who holds a British citizenship.
She became known to the public after her name hit the headlines in 2022 when she appeared in court and was being ordered to pay a hefty fee to the tune of £117,000 ($149,500) to a company who had installed fountains in one of her and her ex-spouse’s homes.

Australian-born musician Keith Urban is a fan-favorite. The story behind the start of his relationship with his now-wife Nicole Kidman resembles a fairytale.
Kidman confessed during a 2007 interview with Vanity Fair that when she first met Urban in 2005 at a “G-Day LA” event which honors the work of Australians, she was secretly engaged to someone else. However, just three months after this serendipitous encounter, the two were engaged.
“There was an enormous attraction initially and we got engaged after three months and then we got married really quickly, but we didn’t really know each other,” the actress said, according to Metro. “We really only got to know each other after we were married.

He, however, was there to perform at the Prostate Cancer Awareness/Fundraiser.
Sadly, other family members, including Urban uncles’ had prostate cancer, and that’s why prostate cancer awareness is a cause particularly close to his heart.
Urban offered to perform for free, contributing to the lunchtime fundraising and helping it set a new record of $2,024,000.

Following the revelation of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, Harry flew to Britain to meet with him, but whether they tried to repair what’s broken remains unknown.
King Charles has always been very supportive of Harry and Meghan, but their actions following their separation from the family has only angered him.
Shortly after they stepped down from their royal duties, Harry and Meghan gave interview to Oprah in which they revealed that there were conversations about how dark Archie’s skin would be before he was born.
“In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time. So we have in tandem the conversation of ‘he won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” Meghan Markle recalled.
This caused many to accuse the Palace of racism.
At one point during the interview, Meghan said: “I don’t know how they could expect, after all of this time, we would still just be silent if there is an active role that the firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us. If that comes with risk of losing things…there’s a lot that’s been lost already.”
As she didn’t feel like receiving any help from the family when she opened up of her mental issues, Meghan became suicidal.
“I just didn’t see a solution. I would sit up at night, and I was just, like, I don’t understand how all of this is being churned out. And, again, I wasn’t seeing it, but it’s almost worse when you feel it through the expression of my mom or my friends, or them calling me crying, just, like, ‘Meg, they’re not protecting you’. And I realized that it was all happening just because I was breathing,” she explained.
“I was really ashamed to say it at the time and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry, especially, because I know how much loss he’s suffered. But I knew that if I didn’t say it, that I would do it. And I just didn’t want to be alive anymore. And that was a very clear and real and frightening constant thought,” Meghan added.

Family ties are most times stronger than steal, but at the same time, they can be easily broken if there is a lack of respect and mutual understanding.
One 25-year-old American man took to Reddit to share his story regarding the family feud that unfolded after he announced he would be getting married to a woman he considers his soulmate.
When he was 19, this man went to Norway to study and that’s where he met Maya, the woman of his dreams. Their relationship blossomed and he popped the question. There was no doubt that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

The two agreed to share the news of their engagement and the wedding that was on the horizon with his part of the family in person so they traveled to the States.
Upon arrival, one of OP’s aunts hosted a family dinner and everyone, including his parents, were there.
However, the moment OP and Maya entered the place, they were welcomed by angry stares by OP’s mom and his two aunts.
Although they have never met Maya before, they decided she wasn’t good enough for him.
Throughout the night, the trio did all in their power to make Maya feel as uncomfortable as possible. Due to her broken English, she didn’t speak much, but she was aware of the tension.

The mother’s disapproving glares intensified as time passed by, and Maya decided to share that with OP in Norwegian. OP was as well aware of his mom’s inappropriate behavior, but he still decided to give her some time to get to know his fiance better.
Things got heated when the mother decided to propose a toast. “Cheers to my son and his [fiancée], she may not be the best woman for him, but I’m sure he’ll realize that once he sees what a [expletive] and gold digger she is. Or maybe she’ll grow a [conscience] and save him from [herself]. Cheers,” she said to the disbelief of the rest of the family.

Unable to bear the weight of the moment any longer, OP broke the silence with a firm declaration, he was severing ties with the toxic trio by uninviting them to his wedding.
“You realize that the choice for who the most important women in my life is hasn’t had you in the running for nearly a decade. I actually love her and would choose a kick to the nuts over you. A young woman named Clem shared an extraordinary story about her beloved grandma. Namely, when she turned six or seven, her grandma gave her a plastic sheep as a present. It was a nice toy that Clem loved.

When two people decide on an open marriage, they need to do it on terms they have discussed and both agreed on before they get involved with other people.
The story shared by a woman shows just how unfair her husband was to her because they both consented to an open marriage and he did date other people for quite some time, but when she decided to meet other partners he changed the rules.
The responses to her post were many. The woman received plenty of messages from people who shared their opinion on the matter and gave her advice on what to do next.
Some believed that her husband’s double standards were a reason enough for her to file for divorce because he obviously didn’t treat her with the respect she deserved and refused to be loyal although he was the one who asked from her to be in a normal marriage.
He saw the concept of an “open marriage” as an excuse to date other woman “officially” and without feeling guilty for it. Otherwise, he would have been fine with the fact that she also met someone she was happy to date.
Not only he didn’t respect her needs, but he also broke the promise he gave her about dating other women that he clearly continued seeing. Many agreed that he was unfaithful at this point.
Some advised her to prioritize her own needs and take the time to understand what is that she really wants and what makes her happy.
Not only this woman, but every woman out there needs to learn they deserve someone who would treat them with respect and honesty.

A young man took to the platform to share the story of how his relationship with his mother collapsed after his father’s passing.
According to him, his mom didn’t wait long before starting a relationship with someone new. What’s most, just two months after his dad died, his mother invited her new partner and his two children, an 18-year-old son and a 19-year-old daughter, to move in with her.

OP, now 23, was a 15-year-old boy at the time.
As soon as his mom’s boyfriend and his children moved in with them, he started feeling neglected. According to him, his mother overcompensated for her partner’s kids to please him. When they would arrange to go on holiday and take trips, she would told her son to go spend some time with his grandparents.
His grandma and grandpa were well aware of what was going on, but advised him not to get into any arguments with his mom or her partner in order to avoid any further conflicts. However, things escalated during an occasion and OP’s mom asked him to leave the house and move in with his grandparents.

Realizing his mom chose her partner and his children over him, OP was devastated, but still, he did what he was told and left the house.
The only thing that gave him hope was the fact that his father left everything to him, including the house he was kicked from, but he wasn’t allowed to access the assets until he turned 21.
His mother, although she did what she did, still cared for him. “My mom would visit me often and tell me how much she loved me, but she needed to “keep peace at home,” he revealed.

On the day of his 21st birthday, OP started plotting his revenge. Having finished college, he needed money in order to pursue a master’s degree, so he decided to renovate the home that belonged to him and rent it. As you are guessing already, it was the home in which his mother and her new family lived.
One day, he went to their door in order to tell them that he now had access to the home his dad left to him, but no one answered. His mom and her partner were out of town.
OP tried contacting her multiple times but she didn’t answer any of his calls. It was then that he decided to take things into his own hands and changed all the locks.

Luis Ortiz is a man who has an extraordinary story to share. What he had to say of his hospital experience is shocking, to say the least, and causes shivers down the spine.
At the time he had just begun his senior year at Sacramento State, Ortiz visited his mother in Napa where he experienced the worst headache of his life.
He couldn’t stand the pain, so his mother called the ambulance. Ortiz was sent to the hospital where doctors ran a bunch of tests and CT scans.
To the disbelief of the medical professionals, the scans showed the presence of a tapeworm inside Ortiz’s brain.
His condition required an emergency surgery so the doctors at the Queen of the Valley Medical Center didn’t waste time.
Special equipment with a camera was used to detect the parasitic tapeworm larvae that had developed into a cyst obstructing circulation inside Ortiz’s brain during the surgery.
“That doesn’t sound so good, I thought. Ugh. I thought it didn’t sound good when the doctor stated it was still wriggling as he pulled it out. What are the chances, for instance, of having a parasite in my head?” Ortiz commented.
According to the doctors, the parasite could have found its way to this man’s head in different ways.
“They questioned as to whether I had lately had a raw pig, gone river swimming, or traveled to a third-world country, and I replied, ‘I haven’t done any of it.’” he explained, “But I’m not sure how long the worm has been in my skull.”
As per the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, people can contract gastrointestinal parasite infection by consuming raw or under-cooked meat. Another way of ending up with this parasite is if eating food prepared by someone who already has it inside their body and transmits it as a result of poor sanitation and hygiene.
After it’s consumed, the larvae can easily travel to the brain.
“Since I wouldn’t be here right now if I had waited a little longer,” Ortiz said, “It’s surely more rewarding to me to be alive.”

According to many, one of the more surprising commercials of the night featured actor Mark Wahlberg as he teamed up with actor Jonathan Roumie from TBN’s The Chosen.
The two promoted the Catholic app Hallow. In the 30-second-long commercial, Wahlberg could be heard saying, “God, we take this moment just to give You thanks.” Next, a message appeared on screen, saying: “For the first time ever, join over 100 million people in prayer during Super Bowl LVIII.”

Most couples dream of welcoming a baby in their life once they get married. For some, these things go very smoothly, but others struggle to conceive.
The couple from this story belonged to the latter. Although they did all in their power to have a baby, things didn’t go as planned. So after getting pregnant naturally and experiencing miscarriages both times, they turn to IVF. It was quite a pricey procedure, but they were willing to go to any length for a bundle of joy.
The pregnancy was going well, and nothing spoke of trouble. The baby seemed to be perfectly healthy.
On the day of the delivery, when the cute little girl was welcomed into the world, it was discovered that she had a mild form of limb deformity, with her feet being twisted inwards. The family was told it could be fixed surgically, but the father got very angered that he refused to hold the baby.
But he, his mother, and his sister started arguing with the doctors and went totally hysteric, leaving the baby’s mom in complete shock.
After doctors tried to explain that the girl would be completely normal following the corrective surgery, the father said he wouldn’t be paying for such a thing.
In the next moment, he and his part of the family fled the hospital.
A couple of days later, the woman’s mother called her son-in-law to plead him to reconsider his decision, but she learned that he had discreetly filed for divorce a day after his daughter was born.
We can’t imagine that there are people like this father who run away the moment the first obstacle comes on the way.

Namely, Paul was at a diner having a piece of an apple pie and a cup of coffee. He enjoyed his peace when three bikers entered the place. They sat at the corner and approached Paul one by one. The bikers were very proud of their mean action as they thought that being rude and disrespectful made them fierce. However, what they didn’t know is that they messed with the wrong person.

Throughout the whole time, Paul remained collected and calm. He paid for his food and left the diner. The waitress went to the bikers and asked them what they wanted. But before ordering, they were quick to brag with what they did to Paul, saying, “The old geezer isn’t much of a man, is he?” The waitress looked at them with a smile on her face and said, “He also isn’t much of a truck driver, as he just backed over your motorcycles.”
Well, they got what they deserved.

Following her performance in Monster’s Ball, actress Halle Berry earned an Oscar and became the first ever African American woman who has won this prestigious award.
Born on August 14, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio, as the youngest daughter of Jerome and Judith Berry, an interracial couple, Berry’s childhood was filled with plenty of challenges. In the early 1970s, her father abandoned her mother who moved her family to the predominantly white Cleveland suburb of Bedford.
The only time she spoke of her father was in 1992 when she said “I haven’t heard from him since he left. Maybe he’s not alive.”
Studying at a school attended by nearly whites-only, she was a subject of discrimination and bullying. However, facing racism at an early age didn’t break her spirit, it only made her stronger and more determined to achieve greatness in life.
Throughout high-school, Berry was included in plenty of extracurricular activities and was a newspaper editor, class president and head cheerleader, among the rest.
Soon after, she pursued a modeling career ending being first runner-up in the Miss USA competition in 1985.
Berry moved on to attend Cleveland’s Cuyahoga Community College where she studies broadcast journalism, but just as she was about to earn her degree, she decided to drop put and focus solely on a career in the entertainment industry.
She moved to New York where she worked as a model before landing a role in Living Dolls, following a role in the CBS prime-time drama Knots Landing.
Berry had her big breakthrough playing late Dorothy Dandridge in an HBO movie about the singer. For it, she won an Emmy and Golden Globe.
“I remember winning the Golden Globe and thinking that this was the epitome of life. I had a marriage, I had a daughter I had these awards. I had paid homage to my hero (Dandridge). I was thinking that my life was too good to be true. I said that so many times, it turned out that it really was too good to be true.”
Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s her career only went upwards and she landed roles in a number of prominent movies, including the film adaptation of the X-men comic book series. She appeared as Storm in X-Men (2000), X2: X-Men United (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), and X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014). She also starred in Swordfish, and Die Another Day, among the rest.
Besides being an actress, Berry is also an entrepreneur who has launched her fragrance line in 2009. She has been an ambassador for several brands, such as Revlon, Versace, and Michael Kors, and has supported charitable causes related to domestic violence, cancer research, and mental health awareness.
In 2020, Berry, who’s a mom of two, made her directorial debut with the Netflix movie Bruised which follows the story of a disgraced MMA fighter who looks for redemption and tries to regain custody of her son.

The Palace, however, has not revealed what kind of cancer the King has, or where he is receiving treatment. “No further details are being shared at this stage, except to confirm that His Majesty does not have prostate cancer,” the Palace stated.
During the time of receiving treatment, the King would postpone public-facing duties.
His majesty is grateful to the medical professionals for their swift intervention.
King Charles made the decision to make the news of his diagnosis public in order to prevent speculations, as well as to raise awareness about cancer and support those battling the same disease.
According to medical professionals, the King’s cancer might be near his prostate; in his liver, stomach, or lung.
Dr. Stuart Fischer from New York said, “Usually, people don’t die from prostate cancer itself. There are medicines to help, like anti-testosterones, which can stop the cancer from spreading.”
He added: “If the cancer has spread to places like the lung and liver, it’s hard to treat. If that’s the case, he might have a few years left to live, if he’s lucky.”
Another doctor, Dr. Gabe Mirkin, spoke to Radar and explained that the King’s cancer was discovered while they examined him with a sonogram, CT scan, or MRI.
“When cancer spreads to other organs, usually people don’t live longer than five years,” Mirkin said.
We truly hope that King Charles would be able to overcome any obstacles that come on his way to fully recovery.

Reba McEntire delivered a powerful rendition of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ before the Super Bowl game between the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.
Wearing a bedazzled pair of black jeans and a metallic beige blazer accessorized with a big-buckled belt, the 68-year-old country superstar stole the attention of players, coaches, Super Bowl attendees and military service members around the world who watched from the comfort of their home.
Reba nailed the performance with both talent and emotion and brought many to tears.
The cameras caught Chiefs All-Pro defensive lineman Chris Jones getting lost in the lyrics and visibly crying.
As the National Anthem came to an end, a U.S. Navy flyover also soared over Allegiant Stadium.
“So much emotions going around tonight,” a fan wrote of Reba’s performance on X.
“This was pretty awesome,” wrote another. “Kudos to #KansasCityChiefs DT Chris Jones for his raw emotion during the National Anthem.”
As well as Reba, pre-game entertainment came from Post Malone and Andra Day.
Although this was the first time Reba performed the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, she has performed ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ plenty of time throughout her career. What’s most, she was discovered while singing the anthem some 50 years ago at the 1974 National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma, and that was the start of an incredibly rich career spanning decades.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that anniversary,” the country star said in a statement at the time of her performance announcement.
“I’m honored to be part of something as big and historic as the Super Bowl coming to Las Vegas for the first time. 2024 marks 50 years since I was discovered singing the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo. And I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that anniversary,” she shared on X.
