When we are doubtful about something, sure enough, most of us turn to the Internet to seek answers.
When a mom named Kelli Tarin spotted strange droppings at her daughter’s bedroom, she was left puzzled. As she had no idea what those droppings that kept appearing over and over again might be, she turned to the Facebook group Homemaking Tips and asked if anyone has ever seen anything similar.
She explained that she and her family moved into a new home in Texas and both she and her landlord turned to every pest control business they could think of, but no one was able to identify the droppings.
“Anyone know what this could be? I have found two piles of these. Only in my daughters room. I clean it almost every day. This Is something that happened QUICK,” she wrote alongside a photo of a pile of what she described as looking like “coffee grounds.”

Many were quick to share their theories. “I can’t really tell but I’m being so honest if there little ‘flying ants’ their a type of termites. I had them in my first house as an ‘adult’ and they would pop up and I’d vacuum them, and then they’d pop right back up,” someone wrote.
Another person suggested it could be “rat poop,” and a third suggested placing a camera in order to see where those droppings were coming from.
Kelli explained that she had revised all of the Internet users’ suggestions, and it wasn’t any of the potential pests as she went through the list, which included mice, roaches, and bats.
“We called TWO pest control companies yesterday. Literally BOTH of them said they have never seen anything like this. Ever,” she wrote. “If it were terminates, they said the droppings or whatever they leave behind is completely different. What’s left behind is literally crunchy. Almost seed like. It’s very strange.”

The mystery was finally solved when a comment under Kelli’s post caught her attention.
“I red [sic] a comment from someone that said their kids lavender bear busted opened and this was inside. Sure enough, when I picked up toys from here, there was a lavender blush [sic] bear in the pile.”
She was curious to take a peek inside her daughter’s bear through a hole she noticed. “I poured out the contents and these beads were inside!!!😂😂I have laughed for 30 mins. Imagine my relief.”
We are glad she has finally figured it all out and got rid of the strange droppings.

According to recent data presented by the Children’s Bureau, the number of children in foster care nationwide is approximately 424,000. In Tennessee only, there are slightly less than 8,000 children who are waiting to be reunited with their families or find a forever home with people who would love them unconditionally. The sad reality is that the number of foster families in this state is less than 4,000.
Up until recently, one of those kids who found themselves in the system was 12-year-old Andrew from Nashville. This lovely boy spent half his life going from one family to another. However, that changed when he was welcomed in by a special foster family; the Gills.

Kevin and Dominique Gill have a son on their own, Joc, who made very good friends with Andrew the moment they first met. The boys just love hanging out together. They spend their time playing games, taking walks, and doing a bunch of fun stuff. Realizing how close the boys became, Kevin and Dominique decided to let them be best friends forever by filing adoption papers.
Andrew had no idea he was about to become an official member of the Gill family. One day, as he was taking a walk at the park with Molly Parker, an employee at the Youth Villages, he was met with the news that his foster parents are adopting him.
“I just turned around the corner and saw everybody,” Andrew said. “They asked ‘will you?’ and I said ‘yeah!’”

This year’s Academy Award Ceremony started a few minutes later and the reason for that were the protesters who stood in the streets surrounding the Dolby Theatre calling for a cease-fire in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
But it wasn’t only the protesters who advocated against the fire and the war. In fact, several attendees, among which singer Billie Eilish and her brother, producer Finneas, actors Mark Ruffalo, Ava DuVernay, Ramy Youssef and Quannah Chasinghorse were all wearing a pin on their outfits that left a lot of people questioning its purpose.
Actor Mahershala Ali, who didn’t walk the red carpet but took the stage to introduce this year’s nominees for the Best Supporting Actor award, was also seen wearing the pin.
What confused many was the fact that all these celebrities who had the same pin on them didn’t work on same projects so it was obvious it didn’t have to do anything with the films they were either nominated or worked on.

It was later revealed that the celebrities wore these pins to support the call for a ceasefire in Israel’s war on Gaza and connoted their solidarity with Artists4Ceasefire, a group of nearly 400 entertainment industry workers who signed an open letter urging President Biden to call for a ceasefire in the ongoing conflict.
The letter states, in part:
We ask that, as President of the United States, you and the US Congress call for an immediate de-escalation and ceasefire in Gaza and Israel before another life is lost. More than 30,000 people have been killed over the last 5 months, and over 69,000 injured* – numbers that any person of conscience knows are catastrophic. We believe all life is sacred, no matter faith or ethnicity and we condemn the killing of Palestinian and Israeli civilians.
We urge your administration, Congress, and all world leaders, to honor all of the lives in the Holy Land and call for and facilitate a ceasefire without delay – an end to the bombing of Gaza, and the safe release of hostages. Half of Gaza’s two million residents are children, and more than two thirds are refugees and their descendants being forced to flee their homes. Humanitarian aid must be allowed to reach them.

As per the Palestinian health authorities, since the start of the conflict, or better said since Israel launched its war on Gaza on October 7, over 30,000 people have been killed and 69,000 have been injured. Sadly, the greatest number of those who lost their lives are children.
Earlier this year, at the Grammy Awards, only Boygenius and Annie Lennox were seen wearing the same pins, with Lennox notably pleading for a ceasefire on stage.
The stars of Anatomy of a Fall, actors Milo Machado-Graner and Swann Arlaud, could be seen wearing pins of the Palestinian flag on the red carpet.

Ramy Youssef, who co-starred with Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo in Poor Things, spoke of the lack of momentum in the call for a ceasefire and subsequent end of the war against Gaza.
“There’s no other route,” Youssef said in an interview. “It’s taking so long… That’s what we’re all encouraging everyone to be vocal about.”
Other celebrities who signed on the Artists4Ceasefire letter are Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, Cate Blanchett, Bradley Cooper, Lupita Nyong’o, Drake, and America Ferrera.
“The pin symbolizes collective support for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, the release of all of the hostages and for the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza,” Artists4Ceasefire wrote in a press release. “Beyond our pain and mourning for all of the people there and their loved ones around the world we are motivated by an unbending will to stand for our common humanity. We stand for freedom, justice, dignity and peace for all people—and a deep desire to stop more bloodshed.”

After numerous theories and speculations regarding Kate Middleton’s health and a recent photo of her taken by TMZ, she and William shared a photo of the Princess and her three children on Mother’s Day.
Judging from the photo, Kate is indeed doing well after her surgery in January.
She poses on the patio with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis surround her. They are all smiling and look absolutely adorable.
“Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day,” the caption on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram account read. It was signed “C,” meaning Kate herself had written it.
As expected, the photo was shared worldwide and was picked up but every single media outlet out there.
The comments under the photo came pouring in with a great number of people wishing Kate a speedy recovery.
According to some royal experts, Kate opted to post a photo in order to put a stop to the speculations surrounding her surgery and her recovery.
“They [Kensington Palace] are trying to send a clear message to both the public and the press to respect Kate’s privacy on this medical matter,” royal historian Kate Williams said. “What they’re trying to say is Kate is recovering, she’s fine, no more worries, no more panic, no more speculation.”
She added: “I think the last thing they [Kensington Palace] want is for her to feel she can’t go out and walk in case she’s going to be photographed.”
Shortly after the photo of the happy family was released, some started questioning its authenticity because as they claimed, the photo was obviously edited.
“Professional photographer here. Look closely at Princess Charlotte’s wrist. This is what happens when you composite layers in Photoshop. I’m not speculating on why the photo was edited like this, but it’s weird,” portrait photographer Martin Bamford wrote on X.
Some edit fails, as noticed by experts, were Princess Charlotte’s missing sleeve and blurred skirt and Kate’s misplaced zip.
Others noticed that Kate wasn’t wearing her ring and her hand around Louis was “blurry.” Her wrist and jumper sleeve were also manipulated by photoshop according to many, as well as her chin.
“The more you look at this, the worse it gets. the hands, the fact some parts are so blurry and some so sharp, the way Charlotte is apparently balancing in that position, there is literally a crease in the step, the reflection in the window doesn’t match,” one user wrote on X.
“Not really kept up with this whole conspiracy theory, but this photo is SOO DODGY two of their hands look very weird as if they’re AI generated, and the girls arm has 100% been photoshopped and her skirt also looks weird as f— as well?” another user added, continuing, “but if it’s a real photo – *why* would they edit it so much and so badly? they’re not stupid they would’ve seen all the rumours going about, releasing an awfully edited photo only fuels them.”
Shortly after, The Associated Press, Reuters, Getty Images, and Agence France-Presse all decided to issue “kill notices,” which are advisory notices to remove or not use a specific photo.
“It appears that the source has manipulated the image,” the Associated Press notification read.
They also released a statement, saying, “The Associated Press initially published the photo, which was issued by Kensington Palace. The AP later retracted the image because at closer inspection, it appears that the source had manipulated the image in a way that did not meet AP’s photo standards. The photo shows an inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte’s left hand.”
Speaking to GB News, Dr Hany Farid, a professor of computer sciences, said the work on Princess Charlotte’s sleeve looked like a “bad Photoshop job.”
“I clearly see what is being referenced here, with respect to her sleeve. It looks like a bad Photoshop job. I know we talk a lot about AI lately but it is still possible to use traditional photo-editing tools,” Farid said. “What you would be worried about here is if Kate wasn’t in this photo and had been digitally inserted. This would be a dramatic manipulation.”

On top of that, Kate not wearing ring fueled the rumors that something isn’t right between her and William.
Kate’s office decided to respond to the rumors by issuing a statement in which they explain that the reason why the Princess doesn’t have the ring on her finger is that she’s at home. They further added that it was William himself who took the photo.
Although the Palace didn’t comment on the edited photo, Kate herself decided to explain why the image had “flaws.”
On her and William’s official X account, she wrote, “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C.”
Kensington Palace has later confirmed it “would not be reissuing the original unedited photograph of Kate and her children.”
According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, the Palace would be under much pressure following the issue with the photo.
“What’s so major in all of this is that four international picture agencies have killed this image. That’s really rare,” Nicholl said.
“I can’t think of a a time since I’ve been doing this job for the best part of 15 years where a royal image has been recalled. So that’s highly unusual. It might force Kensington Palace’s hand.”
On top of the pressure she faces, Kate now has to deal with another “problem” that’s giving her headaches, her uncle’s participation in the reality show Celebrity Big Brother. Since entering the house, he spoke of his niece on several occasions and opened up about Harry and Meghan, too.
“Clearly, whatever’s happened to Catherine, she’s probably feeling fragile – mentally as well. To have a serious setback like this at the prime of your life, it must knock your confidence, and so she’ll be fragile at this stage in her recovery and to have this thrown at her. She must just be thinking, ‘Why, why, why did Uncle Gary have to do this? ‘I imagine she’s thoroughly depressed about it,” royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror.

“I think that Gary comes from a good place in his heart. If he talks about her it’s – in his view – to give her side of the story, give her a mouth, a voice, when he knows she can’t off the back of allegations made of her,” Bond added.
“But I think it’s the last thing she’d want – if Catherine or William want to say anything, they will say it. They don’t need anyone else to, least of all someone within their own family – and they don’t have that strong connection anyway.”

“Where is Kate?” is one of the most asked questions in recent days after theories and speculations surrounding Kate Middleton’s health state have blown up on social media.
Many assume that she’s not spending her time at her home, the Adelaide Cottage on the grounds on Windsor, but at another place. However, as the Palace refuses to provide any details, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the media is picking up whatever story that comes on their way.
As Kate is still recuperating, a photo of her emerged online a few days ago. It was shared by the American media outlet TMZ, but no British newspaper shared it. Kate could be seen inside a car, sitting at the passenger seat. She was together with her mother. Some believed the photo was staged because the Princess wanted to give the public a peace of mind. Experts claim that if that was the case, Kate would have posed in front of the car, not inside of it.

At the time being, experts claim that there is another thing that bothers Kate, and that’s her uncle’s appearance in the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother. Kate wasn’t happy with the idea of him being exposed to the public to that extent and now that he’s officially a participant, Kate is said to be “depressed” over it.

Before entering the house, Goldsmith gave several but he didn’t speak of his niece. Once inside, however, he spoke to fellow contestants Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne on the rumors about Kate’s health, saying that people should leave her alone.

“I think they should leave her alone right now because there’s a reason why they’re [family] not talking about it, and they are giving her a little bit of space. I just think it’s fundamentally wrong and if it was happening to anybody else they would think to give them some space. But because Kate’s Kate, she does such an amazing job, there’s always interest in her,” Goldsmith said.
“She’s the number one royal for a reason and I just beg people to give her some space. I do think that they’re changing the dynamic and they are family centric. They’ve got duty and it’s a privilege to have the roles that they do have, but it’s family first. You’ve got to look after yourself. You put your own oxygen mask on before you look after others. Kate, get well, love you and when you’re ready we’ll see you again. That’s what we do to anyone else, why not her?”
He later revealed that he had spoke to Kate’s mother, his sister, about his niece’s health.
“I spoke to her mum; she’s getting the best care in the world,” he said. “She’s amazing, she will be back, of course, she will.”

Goldsmith didn’t reveal where Kate is.
“Because she doesn’t want to talk about… The last thing I’m going to do is.. there’s a kind of code of etiquette. If it’s announced, I’ll give you an opinion.” Kate’s uncle said, as per the Sky.
“I spoke to her mum, my sister, she’s getting the best care in the world. And all the family’s done is put the wagons round and look after family first before anything else. They put a statement out and just said ‘she’s taking some time to recoup and will see you in Easter.’”
The Palace didn’t provide a comment regarding Kate’s uncle’s participation in the reality show. As of him, he said he didn’t ask nor he needed anyone’s permission.
Goldsmith could be heard saying that he would never do anything that would embarrass his niece, but still, neither Kate nor the Palace seem to be at ease.
Royal expert Jennie Bond believes that the comments regarding Kate’s health would affect her mental state and that her uncle’s appearance on the reality show would make her “fragile” and “depressed,” and that it’s the “last thing she needs” as she continues her recovery.

According to Bond, even if Goldsmith doesn’t do anything embarrassing, his presence in the media can hurt the royals.
“I don’t think it’s a particularly close relationship and I don’t think he’s part of the ‘inner circle’ anymore – I think he’s increasingly been pushed outside that circle now. He’s very much a freelancer, doing what he wants,” she told the Mirror.

On Tuesday, Goldsmith became vocal about Harry and Meghan, claiming the former Suits star was a “stick in the spokes” and the one creating all the drama.
“I have the opinion that Harry was really, really, really loved, massively loved, and when they were a threesome Kate, William and Harry were really comfortable together, loved,” he said.
“And then suddenly there’s an extra dynamic that comes in, puts a stick in the spokes and creates so much drama that I don’t generally think is there, and rewrote the history and said how unhappy he was, and I just don’t think that’s fair. And then you can’t throw your family under a bus in such a dramatic style and then write books about it and expect to be invited round for Christmas,” Gary Goldsmith added.

The Oscars never fail to disappoint. No matter if one believes the choice of winners are the right ones and their awards are well-deserved or there was someone else who actually took the spotlight but was robbed of an Oscar, the Academy Awards ceremony provides enjoyment, entertainment, as well as outfits and moments worth all the attention they get.
Among Ryan Gosling’s iconic I’m Just Ken performance, Robert Downey Jr’s first ever Oscar win and Al Pacino failing to read the nominees before announcing the winner, there was yet another moment that people can’t stop talking about. As you are guessing already, that’s John Cena’s skit that required him taking the stage completely naked.
Cena was to announce the winner for the category of Best Costume Design, for which the films Poor Things, Oppenheimer, Barbie, Napoleon, and Killers of the Flower Moon were racing.
The host, Jimmie Kimmel, recalling an incident where a streaker ran across the stage at the 1974 Academy Awards, asked: “Can you imagine if a nude man ran across the stage today? Wouldn’t that be crazy?”
At that moment, Cena peeked around the curtain saying, “I changed my mind. I don’t want to do the streaker bit. I just don’t feel right about it. It’s an elegant event, you know, you should feel shame right now for suggesting such a tasteless joke.”
“The male body is not a joke!” the WWE star added.
To the surprise, and obviously the delight of many, Cena walked into the stage covering his modesty only with the envelope containing the winning nomination.
Shortly following the skit, a social media post revealed that Cena was in fact wearing skin-painted underwear behind the envelope.
“He’s actually wearing skin-painted underwear,” one X user wrote. “Great job by the makeup department.”
“That’s disappointing! I say go all in! Or all out!” another added. “He probably wanted to but was told they couldn’t.
“This guy is getting out of hand,” a third wrote.

Needless to say, Cena’s ‘naked’ appearance caused quite the stir at the Dolby Theater, where the 96th Academy Awards was held, and a fair amount of people online had things to say about it to.
Though Cena himself wasn’t nominated for an Oscar this year, he did have a small part to play inthe popular 2023 flick Barbie.
Interestingly, the 46-year-old recently revealed how he had been advised not to take a role in the movie prior to its wildly-successful release.
“The agency is just going on what they know,” Cena said on the Howard Stern Show a few weeks ago.”
“And what they know is: This entity, this commodity gravitates toward these things, we should stay in this lane.
“But I’m not a commodity. I’m a human being, and I operate under the construct of every opportunity is an opportunity,” he went on. “I think the perspective from an agency standpoint was: This is beneath you.”
“But also to the agency’s credit, immediately they acquiesced, and I was like: No we’re going to do it.”

Prince William has got a lot on his plate recently and it seems like he’s carrying all the weight regarding the running of the monarchy on his shoulders. Following his wife’s surgery, which is still surrounded by plenty of controversies and speculations, he’s been fulfilling royal duties while taking care of the children, of course with the help of their long-time nanny.
William is said to be taking Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to school every day, something that was done by Kate until her surgery which required a two-week long hospital stay.
Experts say William turned into a ‘modern man,’ and that’s not far from the truth.
“The kids are always at the centre of their universe, and that will continue to be the case. They want to make sure they have as much normality as possible going forwards,” a royal source told the Times in January.

Reports are that King Charles, who battling his own battle against cancer, is very supportive of William’s decision to prioritize his children during his wife’s recovery.
“Charles always put duty first because that’s what his mother did,” royal author Ingrid Seward said on Hello! Magazine’s A Right Royal Podcast. “And that’s what Diana decided she wouldn’t do. I think Charles has encouraged William to spend more time with the family and also said to William, ‘I don’t want you to take on any royal duties until you absolutely have to’ because you remember we criticized William the work-shy?”
Seward added, “And that was his father very much saying, ‘You don’t have to do this, be with your young family. Enjoy it while you can. You’ve got years and years and years of royal duties to do.’”

According to Hello! Magazine, Prince William is still responsible for all the school runs. The magazine reports that he has “been determined to make his family a priority, now more than ever, and is fitting in royal visits and engagements around the school day.”
While both William and Kate have been quiet regarding her surgery and recovery, a photo of Kate emerged online after it was first published by the American media outlet TMZ. No British paper picked up the photo in an attempt to show respect for the Princess’ privacy, but the photo circulates online and it’s not hard to see it.
“There are pap picture of the Princess of Wales. We are not running them out of respect for her privacy whilst she recovers from her operation in the timescale we were given for it,” Chris Ship, ITV’s royal editor, wrote on X. “As far as I know, no other UK broadcaster or newspaper has published the photos either.”
Some claimed that the photo was staged, but royal experts believe that it was Kate’s attempt to show the public that she was in deed doing well as the Palace claims, she would be posing in front of the car, not inside and on the passenger seat.
“Was Kensington Palace and William’s Kate blackout a gross miscalculation? In an age where the public demands greater accountability and transparency, was this plan always going to come to grief?” royal expert Daniela Elser asked in a column for News.com.au. “How much privacy and space does a future Queen get, need, or deserve?”

She concluded her column with an analysis of the latest picture of Kate, asking if she really “look like a woman who is ready or keen to be back on display” or to be “put on public view like a museum specimen.”
“I suppose if there is one lesson to be drawn from all this is that princesses might get all the gee-gaws and diamonds they might fancy but choice? Freedom? Real independence? Maybe there’s no such thing as a free ten-bedroom Norfolk estate after all. Everything has a price,” Elser stated.
Unlike Kate Middleton, late Queen Elizabeth always felt she needed to be seen in public to ensure that she was trusted by the public and not leave them with speculations.
“Everybody feels unsettled by uncertainty, and there is too much uncertainty that is surrounding the monarchy right now,” Sally Bedell Smith said.
“Queen Elizabeth used to say, ‘I need to be seen to be believed.’ It is important for Charles and his reign for the public to know a little bit more.”
The royal expert added, “The monarchy needs to be that anchor in times of trouble, and any sense of instability, which is inevitable when you have two of the key players out of action, is understandable.”

This, along with the photo of Kate published in the American media, led to even greater speculations surrounding her exact health condition.
The Palace did all in their power to protect the Princess’ privacy. There was no media around when she left the hospital nor when she traveled to the Anmer Hall estate in Sandringham some weeks ago, so this leaked photo has been seen as a failure and disappointment for the palace.
According to Newsweek’s chief royal correspondent Jack Royston, the one to be blamed about this entire situation is the Palace.
“The kind of secrecy that Kensington Palace brought to this situation fuelled completely feverish wild speculation online, and that creates the demand that means TMZ know that they’re going to make big bucks running these pictures because they know that huge numbers of people are going to go and click on this story,” Royston told Good Morning Britain on Tuesday.
“And that means that they can pay big amounts of money to the photographer, which makes it worth the photographer’s while to take the risk to get these pictures.”

He claimed the Palace could have handled everything better and put a stop to the speculations long ago.
“Kate could have taken a picture herself. She could have taken a selfie. William could have taken it. It didn’t need to be a good picture. Didn’t need to be a high-res image. It just needed to be a picture or a little video like Charles did,” he continued.
“What’s effectively happened is they’ve allowed this to snowball into a massive thing, and if they’d got ahead of it then they would have actually protected Kate better,” Jack Royston continued when appearing on Good Morning Britain.
“It probably felt to them at the time like they were protecting her and shielding her by just leaving her to get on with her recovery undisturbed but actually this is not protecting Kate. Her being papped in Windsor, the [Daily] Mail is speculating that she may have been on the school run, that that’s not protecting her. She was not going to feel protected in this moment.”

According to Christopher Andersen, the author of the book The King, if the Princess has in deed been feeling better as the Palace claims, then she should have stepped out in the public and at least smile fro the photographers.
“Keep in mind that members of the royal family in particular are famous for getting out there [and] keeping up appearances no matter what,” Andersen told Fox News. “Queen Elizabeth never spent months recovering from an illness, and over the course of her 70-year reign, she dealt with a number of serious medical issues. So, the mystery surrounding Kate’s surgery and what it was for deepens.”
Although she wants to keep things private, it “wouldn’t have hurt” her to “pop her head above the parapet every now and then.”
“It may also be that her medical problem, whatever it is, gave her a new appreciation of what she regards as truly important in life – spending time at home with her children. Kate really is such a pro at handling the press and the public, for her to remain out of sight like this really has to make one wonder: What in God’s name is going on?” he concluded.
Daniela Elser believes that the TMZ photo hides a deeper story.
“With these new images, it’s depressing that it looks a lot like Kate felt she had to let her face be seen in public to stem the tide of delirium. There is something just a bit screwy and upsetting and off-kilter about the internet rabble being able to alter the plan for the 42-year-old’s recovery.”

She also claimed that Prince William canceling a royal duty because of a personal matter last week added to the controversy. Since he contributed to the mess, he’s the one who needs to clear ti up and no leave it up to his wife.
“Thus, the prince helped make the mess – why isn’t he helping clean it up? Why has it fallen to Kate, who had some sort of surgery significant enough to warrant two weeks in hospital, to dispel the grab bag of daft theories about where she is and what might be going on?” she continued.
Elser asked whether the photo shows a woman ready to be back on display or to be “put on public view like a museum specimen.”

When Jessica Leonard was born, she was a perfectly healthy baby, just like any other child. No one could predict that in the years to come, she would turn into the heaviest seven year old child. Weighting staggering 200 kilograms, Jessica became sort of a celebrity and her name was all over the media, but sadly, for reasons that would make her early years a living hell.

Although her parents don’t recall when the situation got out of control, they remember it was an eye opener for them that their child was in a desperate situation when the scale showed she weighted 220 kilograms at the age of just 7 and experienced troubles breathing.
When she was rushed to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in critical condition, child protective services finally took notice.
Jessica was broadcast in a show staring like a gimmick. Her mother asked for help and her plead was heard by renowned dietitians and nutritionists.
In an effort to maintain any progress her daughter would hopefully make at the clinic, Carolyn was also asked to attend parenting classes so that she could help her daughter stay on the right track once she was well enough to return home.
Jessica was sent to a clinic where she started a battle for every calorie she ate.
Doctors realized that her issue with food was that she got dependent from it from psychological aspect.
Once at the clinic, Jessica couldn’t figure it out why she was denied food that she would up until that point receive from her family with a smile on their face.
It was long months of diets, exercise, psychological treatments, and strong will that helped Jessica lose a significant amount of weight. The next time the world heard of her, she had lost 140 kilograms.
After losing the weight, Jessica also undergone a skin removal surgery during which doctors removed over 10 kg of excess skin from her body.
Today, Jessica resembles a completely different person. She’s very active, looks slim, and is engaged in gymnastics and basketball. She eats healthy, and leads a healthy lifestyle.

The parent-child relationship can without a doubt be an uneasy one at times. The truth is that most moms and dads out there would give their world for their children and their well-being and they would certainly do all in their power to teach them right from wrong and help them turn into good people who would pursue their own happiness and become valuable members of the society.
Children, however, not always obey their parents or do what they are said. It is quite often that they would get themselves into trouble because of their behavior and would hide things from their parents. When this happens, it is a hard realization to their moms and dads that they failed at parenthood without being aware that most kids are like that.
At some point in their lives, most parents that their children aren’t innocent angels they pretend to be.
A mother took her daughter to the doctors to see what what causing her morning sickness and the cravings. Once she explained the symptoms to the doctor, he already assumed what could be wrong with the 16-year-old girl, but wouldn’t jump into conclusions before running some tests.

Shortly after, the doctor informed the mother that her daughter was pregnant. “Well, I don’t know how to tell you this, but your Mandy is pregnant.” To her shock, he added, “About four months would be my guess.”
Looking at the doctor, the mother, who’s world turn upside down at that moment, said, “Pregnant?! She can’t be, she has never ever been left alone with a man! Have you, Mandy?”
Mandy, of course, agreed with her mother. “No mother! I’ve never even kissed a man!”

At that moment, the doctor, already fed-up with the mother-daughter theatrics, stood by the window and started staring outside while holding the results of a positive pregnancy test in his hand. He didn’t say a word for a while before the mother approached him and said, “Is there something wrong out there doctor!?”
As though he was waiting for such a question he turned to her and answered, “No, not really,” allowing a brief pause before looking little Mandy dead in the eye and adding, “It’s just that the last time anything like this happened, a star appeared in the East and three wise men came over the hill. I’ll be darned if I’m going to miss it this time!”
It was then that both Mandy and her mother were forced to accept the reality, no matter how much it made them mad and disappointed.

According to experts, this isn’t a reason for concern. On the contrary, it is an indicator that your pH levels, which indicate how acidic or alkaline a liquid or a substance is, are normal.
“Now that everyone is aware, it’s completely normal to discover lighter patches in a woman’s underwear or knickers due to the acidic nature of the vagi**, with a pH range of 3.8-4.5. So, I suppose it’s time to abandon the notion of it being a result of poor hygiene. In fact, a healthy vagi** is one that can bleach the fabric,” Dr. Vanessa MacKay of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists stated.
She explained that the vagi** has a natural secretory system that allows it to clean itself. It is protected by the good bacteria that it contains.
The National Institutes of Health states that the pH of the vagi** typically fluctuates from 3.8 to 5.0, which means that it is rather acidic compared to the normally neutral pH level of 7.
“Disturbing the natural balance can lead to infections, but it’s perfectly normal and healthy for women to have clear or white discharge from their vagi**,” Dr. MacKay added.

Dealing with the unhealthy patterns of members of the family can be a real struggle. As much as we don’t want to hurt their feelings and create an awkward environment, we still need to find a way to help them and put a stop to their behavior that is often damaging.
A Redditor that goes by the name Sea_Temporary_7637 visited the AITA subReddit to discuss a recent situation involving his girlfriend’s mother.
Namely, his girlfriend Kelly has two mothers, Gina, 64, and Stacy, 71. While Gina covers of all their expenses, Stacy mainly spends her money on tiny errands and keeps the rest.
One day, Stacy asked from OP to take her to the store so that she could grab a few things. Once they took everything she needed and headed towards the counter, Stacy told him that she had forgotten her wallet at home and asked him if he could cover the bill for her and that she would repay him later.

OP, of course, agreed because he didn’t think it was a big of a deal. Stacy was an elderly lady, and elderly people tend to forget things.
That same day, when OP and his girlfriend had a talk about how they days had gone and OP mentioned running errands with her mom, Kelly immediately asked him if Stacey wanted him to lend her money. He got confused and answered that she did. That’s when Kelly explained her mom had the habit of making people pay for her stuff without considering giving them their money back.
“She claims she ‘forgot’ her wallet, asks you to pay, promises to pay you back, but almost never follows through,” Kelly said.
OP knew Stacey lied at times and he was aware that made Kelly mad, but he didn’t know she would also try to trick him.

OP promised he wouldn’t let Stacy play games with him ever again, so the next time she asked from him to take her to the pharmacy, he repeatedly asked her if she took everything she needed, putting emphasis on her keys, jacket, and wallet. She said she had and the two headed to the pharmacy.
However, just as she needed to pay, she turned to OP and said she had again forgotten her wallet. That’s when OP confronted her.

However, as many claim, including Trump himself, that his wife isn’t by his side during his presidential campaign because she’s guarding their son, Grant Reeher, director of the Campbell Public Affairs Institute and a professor of political science at Syracuse University, shares his thoughts on Melania’s absence and why that is.

“The family was very involved in the past two campaigns for president, so I’d think they would be involved again. With Harry and Meghan stepping down from their royal duties and prince Andrew getting estranged from the family, the number of working royals has reduced significantly. Sadly, during the recent months that number lowered even further after Kate Middleton underwent what was described as a “planned” abdominal surgery and King Charles was diagnosed with cancer, forcing both of them to take some time off.
Kate is expected to return to her royal duties not earlier than Easter, while the King shares his time between London, where he receives weekly treatments, and Sandringham, the royal estate in Norfolk, England.
While both royals either cleared their schedules or postponed certain royal engagements, their significant others, as well as other members of the royal family stepped in for them.
Queen Camilla had a tough few weeks where she had to take on a lot of responsibility for the royal family. Among the rest, she led the royal family at the memorial service for the late King Constantine of Greece, and now, according to the Palace, she would also be taking a week off.
Camilla is expected to return to her regular duties on March 11, when she is scheduled to lead the Royal Family at Westminster Abbey for the Commonwealth Day service.
During her week off, she would be spending her time with her husband, the King, and the rest of the members of the Firm.
King Charles was diagnosed with a type of cancer following the surgery for an enlarged prostate, but no details have been revealed of the type of the stage of the cancer.

The King himself released a statement recently, thanking everyone for their well-wishes, and then took his time to thank his people once again during his meeting with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
When it comes to Kate, the Palace reassured those doubting the severity of her condition with a statement that read, “We were very clear from the outset that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and Kensington Palace would only be providing updates when something was significant.”

Garrison Brown, whose family is at the center of the long-running TLC reality series Sister Wives, was found dead at 25.
His mother, Janelle Brown, and his estranged father, Kody Brown, posted similar messages on their social media.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” the statement by Janelle read.
“He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away.”
It went on: “We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
Flagstaff Police said that Garrison died “as a result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound,” as reported by Variety.
His deceased body was discovered by his brother Gabriel, 22, after Janelle asked her children if anyone could check on Garrison since he stopped responding to her messages. Prior to his suicide, Garrison was sending “troubling” messages to some of his friends.
According to TMZ, Janelle revealed to the police that “Garrison had texted a group of people that the Brown family works with [presumably from their show].”
In one of the messages, he allegedly stated: “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.”
When Janelle got a word about these messages, she texted Garrison directly. The two had a brief conversation but he then stopped responding.
Those who knew Garrison could witness his troubles. Some of his friends even spoke of him as of not a happy man.

According to TMZ, his roommates heard a pop on Monday night but they had no idea it could be a gunshot. They, however, didn’t check on him.
They said they were aware he was having troubles with alcohol abuse as well as problems with his ex-girlfriend. He was said to be battling depression, too.
Garrison was part of the show Sister Wives, which features the lives of his father and his four wives and many children, from the start. At the time the show first aired in 2010, he was just 12 years old.
His parents were together for thirty years, with Janelle becoming Kody’s second wife, but they split in 2022. They had six children together.

Never, not even in her wildest dreams, did Tara assume that the night shift at the gas station during a stormy night would change her life forever. “I’ve had enough of you derelicts walking in cadging hot food and coffee every time it rains.” Mr. Anderson shouted. “Get out!”
“Please,” the woman said in a calmer voice, “I need help, my phone is smashed…”
“Help?” sneered Mr. Anderson. “Did you drive here? Do you need gas? Or motor oil? Do you have money or a credit card?”
“No,” the woman said. “You don’t understand…”
“I understand you just fine,” the manager shouted. “Get out! No car and no money, you get nothing!”
Putting her head into her shaking hands, the woman explained, “My husband and I had a car accident, he’s lying unconscious on the road…All I ask is that you make a phone call!”

Tara said she would call the emergency services, but as she tried dialing 911, she noticed the lines weren’t working, likely because of the bad weather.
“I’m sorry,” Tara said to the woman. “But the storm probably took down the phone lines and the cell tower. Where did you crash?”
But all the lady could mutter was, “My poor John, oh my poor John…”
Tara came around the counter and assured the lady that her husband would arrive to the hospital, one way or another. She then asked her for the exact location of the crash and offered to drive her there.
“Come on, Ma’am, I’ll drive you to him. We’ll take him to the hospital,” Tara said. But that angered the manager who threatened Tara to fire her if she leaves. “Go ahead, fire me. But I won’t leave a man dying by the roadside,” Tara said.

“Thank you, my dear,” cried the woman. “My husband is an influential man, you won’t regret this.”
“No matter who your husband is, I won’t regret it, Ma’am,” said Tara as she settled the woman into her car and buckled her seat belt. “My mother always taught us to help whenever we could, no matter who it is.”
When they arrived at the scene of the crash, Tara noticed John. He was covered with a blanket and he could barely keep his eyes open. “I’m here, darling, I found help!”his wife assured him.
Tara did as she promised. She took both the lady and her husband to the hospital and decided to take a seat in the waiting room just to make sure they were both fine.

As she was waiting, a tall young doctor came over and asked if she had been the one who’d brought the older couple over. “Yes,” Tara said. “Are they alright?”
“Thanks to you!” the doctor answered with a smile. “Mrs. Smythe told me what you did. Her husband had internal bleeding, and another half an hour would have been too late. We’re also treating Mrs. Smythe for shock and hypothermia.”
“Mrs. Smythe, that’s the lady’s name?” asked Tara. “And they are going to be alright?”
“Yes, you saved their lives,” said the doctor, casting Tara an admiring look. “You’re a hero!”
“No,” said Tara. “Mrs. Smythe is the hero. She walked five miles in the rain to get help for her husband, and she never gave up!”

It turned out that Mr. Smythe was the owner of the local TV station. Once they recuperated, the station told the story of Tara’s heroic deed, and they even mentioned Mr. Anderson, the manager, who was later fired because he cast a bad light on the company.
As of Tara, she got a job as a reporter after Mrs. Smythe learned she was forced to drop her journalism studies.
Now Tara does the job that she had always wanted to do. On top of that, she’s now dating the tall doctor she met during the stormy night.

Alvin was over the moon to finally be marrying Carol, the love of his life. He was aware her parents weren’t fond of him because they believed he wasn’t the right man for her, but the two were soulmates and wouldn’t let anyone stand between them, or at least they thought so.
On the day of their wedding Alvin was running a bit late because he had received the news that no one from his family would be attending the wedding, and somehow, he lost himself in the sadness of that thought.

He found her profile and went through her photos. She had plenty of photos from a girl, who was probably her daughter, some photos of her parents, but not a single photo of her husband. Could she be divorced, Alvin kept asking himself.
In order to clear his doubts, he decided to message Carol. To his surprise, she responded right away and they decided to meet at the park near her home.

The meeting brought back many memories. Seeing Carol after so much time was a reminder for Alvin that he had never forgot her. He loved her as he had all those years ago despite the fact she had left him for another man on their wedding day.
“Do you want to sit down?” he finally asked when she arrived, and she nodded eagerly. “Ok. I guess we should get down to brass tacks. I wanted to meet you because I wanted to find out what happened with us in the past.”
“What do you mean?” she turned to him with a frown.
“Well, when I got to the church, you were marrying someone else,” Alvin replied, looking at her weirdly. “Why did you do that?”
“You got to the church?” Carol asked in confusion.
Alvin shook his head as he was now getting confused too. “What are you talking about? Of course, I got to the church. It was our wedding. I was running a little late, but I got there, and you were exchanging rings with another man.”

“What are you saying, Carol?”
“I thought you had left me forever!” she wailed, and tears gathered in her eyes.
“What?” he said in dismay.
“My mom told me you had run away, and no one could find you. I was so angry… I couldn’t think. I was heartbroken too, and when she suggested marrying Colin…. I just jumped on it. I didn’t want to suffer the humiliation of being left at the altar,” she explained through small sobs.
“That makes no sense, Carol!” he yelled at her, anger rising once again. “Why didn’t you try to call me? I would’ve explained that I was running late because I had just gotten a message that no one in my family was coming.”
At that moment, Carol placed her head between her hands and couldn’t stop tears from running down her face.

Once she pulled herself together she explained that her marriage only lasted for a year and that she had a 10-year-old girl named Veronica. Her ex-husband remarried but they were co-parenting.
They ended their meeting agreeing to see each other again.
Furious, Carol went home and had a massive fight with her parents. They kept asking for her forgiveness and although she forgave them, Carol moved out of their home a week later.
She and Alvin continued seeing each other and decided to continue from their they stopped years ago. Veronica accepted Alvin as her stepfather and even helped him propose to her mom and was a maid of honor at their wedding.

Father Needs Son’s Help after Bringing Him up in an Abusive Childhood
In 2019, an individual who identified as Asian turned to Reddit’s “AITA” forum to share a narrative. Recounting his upbringing, the man revealed that his father’s treatment during his childhood was marked by being frequently kicked out of his home.

The family’s financial struggles led them to reside in a subpar townhouse in an unfavorable part of town. Following the common stereotype associated with Asian fathers, the narrator’s dad exhibited extreme strictness regarding academic performance.
If the original poster (OP) received a grade below 70, was tardy to class, or failed to adhere to a curfew, his father’s response was consistent: eviction from the house. Despite his pleas and appeals, he would find himself relegated outdoors with only a sleeping bag, regardless of the weather conditions — rain or snow.

This pattern continued until the age of 16 when a friend extended the courtesy of allowing OP to stay overnight. Each time he was expelled, he would eventually return, apologize, and be permitted to re-enter the home, with him revealing: “[My father] kicked me out at 18 and I didn’t come back home.”
Instead, he opted to stay with a friend and engaged in consistent employment to finance his education. From that day onward, he stopped communicating with his father. Finally, at the age of 29, he found marital bliss with a child on the way.
OP’s mother passed away at the time—a poignant event that brought about a series of unexpected encounters. Readers resoundingly supported OP’s stance, viewing his father’s actions as emotionally abusive due to his history of expulsions during childhood.
Redditor Gets Revenge on Cruel Mother in the Most Cunning Way
After getting kicked out by her mother at 16, a young girl lived at her father’s place and later married and moved in with her husband. She wrote a Reddit post describing how her mother mistreated her when they were still living together.

The woman recalled how her mother told her she hated her before asking that she leave the house. Back then, the teenager couldn’t do much except follow her mother’s instructions. Meanwhile, her mother never treated her older brother that way. In fact, she behaved nicely with him.
In 2012, OP’s mother bought a seven-bedroom house with her new husband after quitting her job to join a startup. The woman had no idea that leaving her current position was a big mistake because the startup shut down three years after she became a part of it.

Her personal life was in a downward spiral as her husband developed medical complications due to obesity. Despite the doctors telling him to control his diet, he ate what he liked and soon became bed-bound. The Redditor recalled that her mother’s husband died in early 2022, leaving his wife in a bad financial situation.
Things went downhill to the point that the bank seized her house. Broke and homeless, the older woman turned to her daughter, whom she had mistreated and ignored all her life. Despite not sharing a good bond with her, the parent thought her daughter would support her during her difficult time.

The Redditor lived with her husband in a two-bedroom house, where one of the bedrooms was her husband’s office. She had turned her basement into an art studio, and her living room couch was where her cats slept.
It was a regular day for OP when her mother suddenly showed up at her doorstep, asking her for shelter. The Redditor was shocked at her mother’s audacity to ask her for a favor after mistreating her all her life, saying: “I don’t know why, in god’s good name, my mom thought I would be the one to come to.”

OP thought her brother’s house was better for her mother because he had a spare bedroom. However, when she saw her mother at her doorstep, she knew it was a golden opportunity she couldn’t resist, writing: “I told her she could live with us if, and only if, she decided to follow the house rules.”
Among the house rules she enumerated to her mother, she restricted her from using electronics after 6 p.m. and said she should sleep by 7:30 p.m. If the parent refused to power off her electronic devices at the given time, the Redditor threatened to confiscate them and sell them in the next yard sale.
She also threatened to take her clothes for the week if she didn’t sleep on time. Besides that, the Redditor restricted her mother’s shower time to five minutes and asked her to do all the house chores. OP threatened to restrict her mother’s meals for the day if she got up and the chores weren’t done.

The woman also instructed her mother to always be alert and do whatever she and her husband said. She gave her the duty to cook one meal daily and threatened not to let her eat if the food wasn’t cooked to her taste.
Moreover, she said she would control who her mother talked to by reading all her messages, mails, and emails. She also asked her to pay for gas and drive her wherever she wanted. After stating all the rules, the woman threatened to kick her mother out of the house if she displeased her.

She said she would drop her mother at a gas station for her brother to pick her up. OP also only would allow her mother to take some of her belongings from her house. When the older woman heard her daughter’s terms and conditions, she called her a “monster” and said she was being “inhumane.”
However, the Redditor believed the conditions she gave were fair because that is how her mother made her live as a teenager. So instead of staying with her daughter, the woman left her house without saying where she was going. The Redditor hoped her mother would find a park bench to live on.
Man’s Parents Kick Him Out Not Realizing They’d Need Him Later in Life
A Reddit user expressed on the platform how his parents expected him to conform to their plans regarding his career. The only acceptable profession in his family was to become a doctor. They came from a long lineage of medical professionals, and his parents expected OP to continue the legacy.
However, at age 17, he informed his parents that he wouldn’t undertake the profession. Instead, he wished to pursue a social media and acting career, along with other small business endeavors, but his parents disapproved of his plan. They believed he was up to no good and retaliated by kicking him out of the family home.
They subsequently lost contact for 17 years, and his family relocated to the United Kingdom so his siblings could become doctors. To his parents’ delight, OP’s older brother got into a rare, competitive surgery profession. He became a neurosurgeon specializing in spinal tumor removal and diagnosis.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, OP’s family informed him that they were returning to Sydney, where he lived. The decision was made so that OP’s older brother could pursue a job that paid $750,000 annually. Within two years, the Redditor and his family reconnected, but his parents never asked him about his career.
OP believed they assumed he lived an average life, and they weren’t wrong in that his acting career never took off. However, he landed an alternative career as an investment banker and made partner at the bank where he worked.

One day, OP and his siblings accompanied their parents to go house-hunting. It soon dawned on them that they couldn’t afford to buy a home in the communities they wished to live in. Despite being doctors, homes in northern Sydney cost above $20 million, which was too much for them.
They eventually called it a day and asked to see OP’s place before heading out for dinner. He obliged and welcomed them to his home. When his parents arrived there, their first thought was he was renting a room in the gorgeous house.

They asked him how much rent he paid, and he corrected them, saying he owned the place, leaving them in disbelief. The couple was furious, accusing their son of lying to them for years and meeting up with them to rub his “probably illegally gained” wealth in their faces.
They then declared that they would be living with him rather than his older brother since they couldn’t be seen living in a worse house than his. The man scoffed and reminded them that they chose to support their two other children, not him. He also told them they had a better chance of living with his neighbors than him.

At that point, his parents threatened to cut him out of their will, to which he shrugged, unbothered. “I reminded them of the fact that they can’t even afford to buy in my area, so their will and assets don’t really matter to me,” the man explained.
After their unpleasant conversation, OP’s parents refused to talk to him. His siblings told him that he should have proactively told them about his financial situation, but he argued he didn’t need to, as his LinkedIn profile was public, but they never bothered to search.
However, OP still questioned whether he was harsh for what he did. He didn’t feel obliged to help his parents after they cut him off for years, only showed interest in him after realizing he was wealthy. Luckily, most social media users were on his side, giving him some peace of mind.
Young Man’s Mother and Her Boyfriend Kick Him Out of the Family Home, Later Need His Assistance
In January 2024, an anonymous male poster turned to Reddit’s “AITA” forum to pen his story. The day after his graduation, OP’s mother and her boyfriend delivered the unexpected news that, now as an adult, he had to find a place of his own.

OP’s relationship with his mother experienced a significant shift when her new boyfriend arrived. Despite his efforts to make a good impression and to ensure his mother’s happiness, the older man appeared to harbor an inexplicable resentment.
According to OP, his mother’s boyfriend “convinced my mom to start charging me rent” because he had a part-time job while schooling, even though the older man was jobless and living off his mother. The intrusions escalated as the boyfriend entered OP’s room, went through personal belongings, and used items without asking.

The older man’s disregard for OP reached a breaking point when he damaged the young man’s laptop, having used it without permission. Despite the blatant invasion of privacy, OP’s mother chose to remain oblivious to her boyfriend’s wrongdoings and consistently sided with him.
When the young man expressed his discontent it led to heated confrontations, with the parent consistently reprimanding him instead of talking to her lover. The boyfriend surprisingly seemed content with OP’s mother kicking him out of the house.

OP had to endure a precarious living situation due to having insufficient funds to secure a place. He relied on the hospitality of his friends who let him sleep on their couches. However, they gradually grew weary of the arrangement and there were times when OP had to be homeless.
However, someone in his network facilitated a second job opportunity, giving him a lifeline. OP worked diligently and managed to gather some savings. After enduring several challenging months without a stable living arrangement, OP finally moved into a new residence at the beginning of January 2024.

A few days before his post went up, OP received an unexpected call from his mother’s boyfriend, who informed him that the parent had suffered a stroke. In a rather audacious move, the boyfriend attempted to guilt OP into returning home to provide support.
Undeterred, the young man stood his ground, firmly declining the request. He explained how busy his adult life was and emphasized the impracticality of taking time off. With a finality to his tone, OP hung up, choosing to maintain the boundaries he had painstakingly established.

A great number of people experience difficulties regarding adopting habits that may enhance their sleep quality so instead of feeling energized when they wake up, they feel exhausted and moody.
The truth is that many people wake up a number of times during the night but they don’t even notice that because they fall back asleep quickly. Some of those awakenings are around a second long, but some are longer and cause the person trouble falling asleep again.
If you belong to this group, it’s crucial that you figure out what causes you to wake up and what to do to prevent it from happening over and over again.
These awakenings may have to do with the sleep cycle which goes from wakefulness to sleep, light sleep, deep sleep, and REM sleep. REM stands for rapid eye movement and is the part of the sleep cycle where we will have the most dreams. These REM cycles happen more often as we approach the morning hours.
Some believe it has to do with ageing, and others blame sleep apnea for it.

But it turns out that there is yet another explanation why someone wakes up between 3 and 5 am. It is believed that at this time the most mysterious phenomena, called the ‘Witching Hour,’ occurs. This means that you can sense mysterious energy around you, or what is known as the “awakening.”

Moms are those special creatures who guide us, love us, and would give the world for our well-being. They are often the primary caregivers, providing the first model of emotional behavior for the little ones.

A woman shared the experience of being a mother and how it drained every atom of her energy, but a single look at her children returned her strength and energy every single time.
She started her story by sharing a photo she found in her phone that her husband took the previous night. It showed her and her young daughter sleeping together. She would usually get mad at someone taking a photo of her while asleep, but this one was special because it spoke of the struggles and the joys of motherhood.
She spoke of not normally washing her hair and keeping it in a bun, and that her clothes are often stained with food and spits, her makeup is nowhere to be found, but this image her husband took would always serve as a reminder of how glamorous parenting really is.

In today’s world social media is an undeniable force, and the story of 16-year-old Korben White is the perfect proof of that. This young man attracted the attention of millions all thanks to a single tweet by his mother showing him rocking a red gown to his prom.
Korben posed in a fiery red skirt and a sequin-speckled tuxedo top that perfectly matches his scarlet-colored hair, not a typical outfit for a boy one would say, but he wanted to send the message that “you can be who you want to be.”
Speaking with the BBC, his mom Nina Green explained her son’s inspiration. “He wanted to go as himself, while expressing his feminine side–with a tuxedo on the top and a dress at the bottom, very much influenced by [American actor] Billy Porter.” She continued: “He wanted to be Korben…but in a dress.”
Nina had no idea the photo of her son would go viral, she just wanted to show her family and friends that her boy was “living his best life.”
“As soon as he got out of the car, everyone just cheered and I was crying, some of the teachers were crying, because he was being who he wanted to be,” she said.
“Everyone has been very supportive, and his year group has been incredible.
“If you let your child be who they are then you’ll get nothing but the best out of them.
“There are people in the world who still don’t understand, but the feeling of acceptance, you can’t beat that feeling.
“I am so happy for him.”
She only learned that her post reached thousands of people the following day while she and Korben headed to Pride in London.
Among those who were intrigued by Korben’s choice of clothing was his idols – Ru Paul’s Drag Race star Michelle Visage who commented that the teenage was a “star.”
Korben said it was “very surreal” that his mother’s tweet captured the attention of Visage.
“To me she is such an icon, a wonderful celebrity and I really admire her,” he said.
Nina’s photo of her son, which sparked support and love, encouraged other parents to share stories of their own gender-bending children.
“I worry for my son, he would really love to do something like this at prom but he would definitely not have the support of all the students! So sad that we still have homophobia even now. Well done to you, your son and his school!” one person wrote.
“I am so happy for your son he looked absolutely amazing!!!My son is trans, after 3yrs of transphobic bullying in Jan b4 GCSEs [General Certificate of Secondary Education offered in parts of the UK] I had to take him out of school for his mental health. He was always going to prom in a tux and he was deprived of the chance,” another shared.
“Absolutely stunning! My daughter wore a suit to hers!” a third shared about his daughter’s prom’s outfit.
As expected, there were also those who slammed Nina’s parenting, dubbing her a bad mom for allowing her son to wear a dress.
“There is very little hope for civilization,” one naysayer wrote, and a second added: “…Vile, Woke & a failure as a parent in encouraging this sort of thing. A 12 year old boy should be playing football and learning to be a man. But, sadly people now a days virtue signal, like what you’re doing with this tweet, and ruin their kids for life. Shame.”
Nina shared that she has been receiving calls from parents all over the country who ask for advice on how to be as acceptable as she has been towards her son.
“I really hope it will help others be more accepting, let proud parents feel they are not alone, and that they can celebrate their children, and for young people to know there is a network there if they need it.” She continued: “You need to accept your children for who they are.”

Six years into her 17-year-long sentence for stabbing her baby with a pair of scissors, Rachel Tunstill dies in prison.
Back in 2017, she stabbed her baby girl, Mia Kelly, more than 15 times in the bathroom of their Burnley home and threw her lifeless body in a bin.
Tunstill was initially convicted of murder and handed a life sentence with minimum term of 20 years, but a re-trial proved the jury in the case should have been offered a verdict of infanticide to consider. During the re-trial she was once again convicted of murder and put behind bars for a minimum of 17 years.
“HMP Styal prisoner Rachel Tunstill died in custody on 1 August 2023. As with all deaths in custody, the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman will investigate,” a spokesperson from the Prison Service confirmed the news of her passing.

At the time she gave birth, her boyfriend was playing video games in the next room. She then told him she had a miscarriage and asked for the scissors after which she remorselessly stabbed the baby to death.
At the time of sentencing, the judge, Mr Justice King, said: “This must have been a sustained and frenzied attack on a victim who because of her age was particularly vulnerable. Her duty to her newborn baby was to cradle and comfort her – not to stab her to death.
“There was here in my judgement concealment of the body, albeit short-lived and in addition there was undoubtedly the indignity which was wrought upon the body by disposing of it in the way she did.”

Tunstill was a university master’s graduate in forensic psychology.
“She showed no emotion or remorse for stabbing her baby to death,” said Mr Justice King.

It’s been two months since Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, was last seen in public and the Palace has been heavily criticized for keeping her medical record as secret.
What has been revealed following her “planned” abdominal surgery was that her condition was noncancerous and that she had cleared her schedule and won’t be returning to her royal duties until Easter.
With speculation continues to grow online following a string of royal health scares, including King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, a Palace spokesperson sought to reassure well-wishers stating, “Kensington Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the princess’ recovery and we’d only be providing significant updates. That guidance stands,” adding that the Princess continues to do well.
Royal experts, however, warn the royals to be more open with the public. They ask why Prince William was absent from his godfather’s, the late King Constantine of Greece, memorial which was attributed to an unspecified “personal reason.”
He pulled out of the major event less than an hour before it started although it was happening in his own backyard and he was due to give a reading in front of many other European royals.
According to Phil Dampier, a royal biographer, the royals ‘have a right to privacy’ but ‘these are not normal times’ given the King’s and the Princess’ health scares, as per MailOnline. “I’m afraid that if no reason for Prince William pulling out at the last minute is given, there will inevitably be speculation, some of it wild and unfair, but that is the nature of social media these days,” he said. “There were lurid reports in a Greek publication the other day about Kate’s health, for which there is no evidence, but these rumours get circulated around the world quickly.”
He further added: “The Palace made it clear Kate is recovering well and we saw the King return to London from Windsor, possibly for treatment.
“But we still don’t know what urgent personal reason led William to cancel. I think he should be more open if the palace wants to avoid speculation.”
Is the Palace’s reassurance enough to keep the public at peace about Kate’s real health state? Many say it’s not, but until officals release more details we are to trust them that the Princess is indeed doing well.
