The latest and greatest happenings from the musical industry just took place at the one of The Voice UK’s episodes. As viewers from around the globe were eagerly waiting for the battles between contestants to rock the show’s stage, the judges decided to treat the audience with their out-of-this-world talent themselves. It’s great how they opt for some fun every now and then, which elevates this talent competition to a whole new level the crowd is crazy about.

Judges, or better said coaches Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson, and Olly Murs made viewers grew fond of them as they add special touch to every episode of the show. This time, however, they shook everyone watching The Voice UK, as and incredible duet between two of them came about. These music icons broke into song as Olly questioned his fellow colleagues who they would like to see enter into a music battle. It didn’t take long as he got to answer his own question saying how he’d love to listen to Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson perform together.

Luckily, both Jennifer and Tom were more than happy to respond to this challenge and show everyone how it’s done. We don’t even need to tell you what the outcome of this spin-off was, as all you need to know is that the mix of such powerful voices could only result in magic unfolding in front of your eyes. Choosing the 60’s classic song “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown and Betty Jean Newsome, the judges stunned the cheering crowd. Sir Tom Jones delivered the first few lines of the song with Jennifer Hudson following immediately.

Wow, just imagine the excitement of those present there. How often do you get to listen to two renowned artists performing live? Their voices blended together perfectly and created an amazingly pleasant harmony. Everyone agrees how they gave justice to this timeless hit. Executing such demanding rendition looks so easy when these judges do it. People are going crazy over this duet with many arguing how it should released.

The flawless and powerful vocals gives us goosebumps and we all agree how we could listen to them over and over again.

This was definitely the best “battle” we’ve seen so far. Can someone beat these two dueting? I don’t think so. They proved once again why they deserve the place on those red chairs. Simply stunning, you’ll have to agree.

Taking part in a talent show viewed by millions doesn’t only take skills, but also courage, dedication, and self-confidence.

When Barry Darcy of Cork first took the stage of Ireland’s Got Talent, he wowed not only the audience, but the strict and demanding group of judges too. He treated everyone with his amazingly hunting vocal, and then he took a step further and shared with the wider crowd his life story that triggered flow of emotions. Honestly, simply by looking at this 38-year-old contestant, the way he looks, the way he sings, the way he smiles, never you could imagine the terrific ordeal he had to go through. What you are about to witness is how optimism and resilience can make any problem fade away.

“I had a herniated disc in my back and it crushed the nerves into my legs. I just went to get out of bed one day and fell out on to the floor. They gave me a fifty-fifty chance of ever walking again, and I took it,” Darcy said.

We can’t even imagine how it felt like to wake up one day and realize you are probably not going to be able to stand or walk on your feet ever again. This tragedy that struck him only taught him how life is totally unpredictable so we need to do our best to live every single day to the fullest. The experience also made him even more devoted to his loving family. His wife was his biggest support and he describes the relationship with her as ‘a solid, solid unit.’

Barry chose to perform Elvis Presley’s “The Wonder of You” and judges were stunned how his voice actually resembled that of the King of Rock.

The lyrics of this melody showed how he felt for his loved ones. He poured his heart and soul on that stage, confident in what he had to give Ireland and the whole world. His singing was accompanied by loud clapping and ovations. It looked like the country found their new sweetheart.

This man hit every note just perfectly, including the high tones that are quite demanding to master. But with his family by his side, Barry would stop at nothing. They proudly watched as their husband and a father stole the hearts of the crowd. This sweet moment became even better when one of the judges, Louis Walsh, decided this awesome performance should be awarded with a Golden Buzzer. Barry was left in tears of joy.

This guy knows that with the right attitude everything is possible.

Barry made a lasting impression on everyone who got to listen to him singing. As for us, we say he’s an inspiration and a proof that dreams do come true.

After Keeping Silent For Months Michael J. Fox Finally Opens Up About New Health Scare

Is there any fan of the films who hasn’t seen ‘Back to the Future’? Or the TV show ‘Spin City’? I bet there isn’t such guy. We all know Michael J. Fox’s contributions to these films. He is one of the most talented actors and one-of-a-kind comedian. His marvellous skills earned him millions of fans around the globe and the number is rising. But, as we know, he couldn’t give his maximum in his acting career. Parkinson’s changed his whole life.

It was in 1991 that Michael had found out that he had the Parkinson’s disease. The symptoms that appeared initially were concluded by the doctors – Michael was going to be another figure on the long list of Parkinson’s patients.

Knowing his strong personality, Michael J. Fox hid that information from the public. He was successful in it for just 7 years. Then he informed the general public. At that moment his fans found out what Michael was fighting with during the last seven years. That must have been a terrible period in the actor’s life.

Unfortunately, Michael could not peacefully fight the Parkinson’s. During the interview, where he talks about the Parkinson’s, he reveals to his fans that he has been simultaneously fighting with another illness as well. According to his account, just recently, problems with the motor controls have appeared. In other words, he was losing control and had problems walking or standing upright. All of these symptoms made him see the doctors once again.

The careful analysis showed that Michael has got some problems with his spine. Luckily, the spots shown on the screening turned out to be benign. The medical team explained that it is not life-threatening, but needed a complex surgery. Michael agreed to it.

We do not know anything about the surgery, since it is confidential, but we do know Michael J. Fox is better. Instead of telling us about the surgery itself, he tells us how the illness affected him. He says:

“I did it all, and eventually people asked me to do some acting. Last August I was supposed to go to work. I woke up, walked into the kitchen to get breakfast, misstepped and I went down. I fractured the hell out of my arm. I ended up getting 19 pins and a plate. It was such a blow.”

Michael J. Fox again amazes us. His strong spirit of not giving up is just amazing. His fight continues and he is prepared to get over all obstacles just to normalize his life, of course, as the circumstance allows.

Additionally, in the interview, Michael talks about his old struggle with the Parkinson’s. He is actively involved in the fight against this neurological disease and he seems to be eager to level up people’s awareness of this terrible illness. He’s just an amazing person with strong personal attitude.

High school sweethearts get married 45 years later

Love is that powerful force that makes this world go round.

When two people fall in love, they’d do anything to be together. But what happens when the society is judgmental over the choice you made about whom to spend the rest of your life with? I guess these days, many wouldn’t even care what others say of their relationship, but back in the day things were quite different. When Howard Foster and Myra Clark fell for each other, the surrounding said no. Why? Because these two lovebirds had different skin color.

Howard was well aware how his relation to Myra would only bring troubles for her, so no matter how much he adored her, he knew it was for the best if the two split. When he recalls those high school days, he says how this decision was the most difficult one he had to ever make.

“I remember just sitting in my car and crying, because it was not an easy decision. I really did love her,” said Howard.

The break-up was inevitable, and both remember how they felt when the time for that last goodbye came. As they went separate ways they waved at each other for one last time, but they somehow knew deep inside they would meet again.

“I really think that wave was, I’ll see you later,” she said.

Time passed by, and Howard and Myra continued with their life. Myra never got married as Howard remained her only true love. Howard on the other hand did get married, but it didn’t last long.

It is as though life wanted for them to be together again, because their love was honest and true, and their relationship broke because of the society and all those people who expressed racist beliefs.

It was in 2014, when Howard’s and Myra’s destinies crossed again. A mutual friend of theirs thought it would be nice if they reunite and reconnect.

That so much-anticipated reunion was full of emotions and resembled a script from the most romantic movie. They were by their side again and now they wouldn’t let anything or anyone stay on their way to happiness. Racism wasn’t something that scared them any longer.

“For me, the fact that I was sitting there holding her hands is something that I thought would never happen,” said Howard. “And I was not letting her go.”

A year after that faithful encounter that took four decades to take place, the lovebirds committed to each other and wowed to love and cherish until the rest of time.

The way Howard and Myra talk of their love with sparks in their eyes is the kind of affection we don’t see that often.

Little boy refuses to leave side of dog hit by car until help arrives – Then town honors him

Kindness and compassion are so rare these days that whenever we hear stories of people caring and being gentle to those around them, we hail them heroes. However, the dream that being nice to others and offering a helping hand to the less fortunate would became our everyday reality will never fade away. Individuals like the 8-year-old Hüseyin el-Hasan are constant reminder that our faith in humanity should never be lost.

This loving boy’s life was rough even from the start. Being a Syrian, he and his family witnessed gruesome acts and felt what it’s like to be in the middle of the war. During his life, Hüseyin has experienced more tragedies than anyone can endure. Luckily, the family found a shelter in the Turkish city of Kilis where they live as refugees.

One would believe that someone like Hüseyin, who had a tough childhood and was surrounded by meanness wouldn’t know how to be compassionate, but this sweet boy never lost his goodwill and the ability to show love.

Recently, Hüseyin stumbled upon an injured god that was helplessly lying at the side of the road. Whoever hit it with their vehicle didn’t take the time to pull over and check on the dog. Luckily, this sweet boy was there to make sure it would make it until help arrived. He even went home, took his only blanket, and covered the dog with it wanting to keep it warm.

When animal control service finally arrived they could see Hüseyin next to the shivering dog. He never though of leaving it’s side. Unfortunately, due to the severe injuries, the animal passed on its way to the hospital.

It was devastating for Hüseyin to learn of the loss of the dog he wanted to save so badly. He was however happy to know it didn’t die feeling alone and not cared for. That poor creature’s last moments of life were full of compassion and sympathy.

After this story reached more people, among which the city’s mayor, he decided to personally pay the brave boy a visit and thank him for what he had done for an animal in need. Hüseyin was given a new blanket and some other presents and was told his action that day represented the best in humanity, and we all need more of that in our life and our community.

People of Kilis, as well as Hüseyin’s family are all proud of this little hero. He is a proof how we should all live by the values young kids possess.

Google has proved many times that its products are very useful and handy in the everyday life. Google Maps and Google Street View in particular are the two Google products that are not just useful, but sometimes quite essential for finding your way out of a certain location problem.

However, Google Maps and especially Google Street View give us the pleasure to see something more than a map. Unintentionally, Google Street View lets us see some everyday personal things, violent captured moments and even some hilarious situations. The story from Kumage, Japan is equally hilarious and cute.

The moment one little dog saw the Google Team’s van on the street, it immediately ‘fell in love’.

Daughter makes miraculous recovery after parents kiss here

You never know when the tragedy will hits your family. One moment you enjoy the beauty of life, and the next you struggle with the a deadly threat. Those moments are difficult, and knowing that there is nothing you can do is even more painful.

This is what exactly happened to Moore-Williams family and that shook them like nothing else by then.

Lee and Francesa’s love resulted with giving birth to two beautiful kids, Bella and her brother Bobby. Until Bella turned 14 months, everything was perfect and lovely. But, then, something terrible happened. Bella was diagnosed with Mitochondrial disease.

The disease devastated the family and made the kid suffer a lot. She started losing hair, she got chest infection and Bella even started losing her abilities to move. All of these things added to the doctor’s announcement that they do not expect her to survive crushed the family. Francesa recalls:

“We were told three times that it’s not looking like she was going to survive, so every day we were sat at her bedside praying.”

After several unsuccessful attempts to take Bella off the ventilators, the doctors gave up. Francesa adds that those moments were “very traumatic and we had the whole family by our sides”.

As the end was approaching, their saying goodbye to the little angel was inevitable.

The family gathered around the young patient and took, what was supposed to be, their last photo with Bella. Soon afterwards the ventilator was switched off, they kissed the girl and were left in tears.

However, a miracle happened in the next 30 minutes. Bella started moving and crying.

Bella started showing signs of life and the hopes were back on. Doctors examined the girls once again, now without her being attached to the ventilator, and they stated that the girl will indeed survive.

That was the best piece of news they got in their lives.

Francea says:

’30 minutes later her oxygen levels were back up to 100 per cent and the traumatised parents were later told Bella would survive.’

Bella’s recovery is still ongoing. However, the life-threatening conditions are long gone. With the help of the pills, she may continue enjoying her life with her lovely family.

Bella is a fighter and she proved that love can do miracles. Her parents’ last kiss provoked some higher power that gave her life back. We hope for the best!

“She’s about eight months behind where she should be but doctors are confident she will pick up quite quickly. She’s at nursery and to look at her you wouldn’t think she’s been through what she has” – says Francesa.

Baby Annoys Passengers On Flight, But Mom Hands Them Something Out

Being a parent means undertaking responsibilities and putting actions into work, whenever there is need of them. You always have to be prepared to find your way out of an unpleasant situation that you kid, especially baby, might put you in.

When you are home you can easily solve the issues concerning your kids. However, when you travel and you have to move around the globe, even the minor problems can be embarrassing or even quite serious. All of these things were taken into consideration by a young mother that traveled from Korea to the United States.

This story would not have been known to us if Dave Corona did not share the story and the images on Facebook. The normal regular flight from Korea to the States turned out to be quite uncommon and very surprising.

The flight from Korea to the USA lasts 10 hours, which is very long for a baby. Therefore, the mother came up with some unique ideas of settling her fears that the baby will disturb all the passengers in the plane. All passengers on the plane got, believe it or not, a bag full of candies and a very interesting note.

The note says:

This impressed and pleasantly surprised all the passengers. They marvelled at the mother’s attention to details and care for other people’s comfort. Buying all those candies, printing and cutting all those notes is a time-consuming task, but the mother endured all of that just for the baby and passengers’ well being. Incredible!

Since Dave was a cameraman, he shot some photos and shared the story on-line. This story amazed thousands of people. Even though the baby was calm and did not cry during the flight, the gifts and the note were still recognized and appreciated by all passengers. Their surprise was obvious.

There are not many people like this mother in the world. She deserves all words of compliments and admiration. Well done!

Daughter of military dad gets huge surprise at school

Military career requires a lot of dedication and sacrifice. It is not unusual for the military personnel to spend substantial amount of time on military base or some other defence camp. This automatically means spending less and less time with the family and the dearest ones. This affects the personal lives, and families have been experiencing difficult times dealing with such a situation. Enduring those difficult moments is a crucial for keeping the family together.

Young Haley from Missouri is aware of all of these things. Her father, a soldier, has not been home for some time due to his professional engagements. However, when he comes back home, he does not show up in front of her daughter as well all do. He prepares a touching surprise.

While Haley is playing her instrument during the school’s Veteran Day’s show, she is asked to drop the instrument and step forward. Unaware of what is happening, she obeys the requests. She stands up and she starts reading the paper she got from the organizers. At the beginning she thinks it is just another paper prepared for the Veteran’s Day, but she soon finds out it’s her father she is reading about. That astonishes her. By the time she finishes the paper, she sees her father in front of her. Haley cannot believe what she sees.

The emotional meeting in these unusual circumstances is just adorable. The father-daughter hugging and overflow of emotions warmed millions of people’s hearts. Even though the surprise made her cry in front of the camera, she does not regret it, and she is more than happy to see her father in person. A moment to remember for the rest of her life!

Marine surprises little brother after spending a year apart

Living separated from your family and from your friends is undoubtedly very difficult. Not being able to hug or kiss your loved ones while being miles apart is very painful and often requires a lot of strength to overcome the emotions.

There are many people who live or work in areas far from the birthplace where their closest family members reside. Whether the reason for staying separated is a work or study, the consequences are the same – we all feel homesick. Quite usually, being in a such situation does not mean that we struggle more with the professional tasks, but with the emotions that overtake us. This is equally difficult for those that go and for those that stay at home.

This battle with the distances and emotions is perfectly caught on camera, as it can be seen on the video below. The reactions and emotions are amazing.

The video posted on the Internet shows how the youngest member of the family struggles with his brother’s absence and ultimately with the surprise they have prepared for him.

His older brother has not been home for some quite long period and decides to come back. However, he, with the help of his family, designs a plan how to show up in front of his younger brother. He came up with quite interesting thing. They blindfold the youngest member of the family, while the older brother stands just behind him. To add a bit more suspense to the moment, they give him his brother’s hat in his hand and they ask him to guess what the object is. Very soon the boy guesses, but he still has no clue why such an object is given to him. Not until he sees his brother next to him.

Seeing his brother results with overflow of emotions. The boys starts hugging his brother while tears run on his face. The moment is so emotional and touching that leaves no one indifferent. The ending of the video is priceless.

Emerald Belles high kick routine astonishes crowd

Everyone who has seen a dance group performing an act is left thrilled. But, watching a dance group performing a dance that includes high kicks, then the thrill turns to amazement. Adding to this the Emerald Belles you have the perfect show for the dance lovers.

The Emerald Belles took part in the Showmakers of America Dance Competition, and they did a wonderful job. Learning from experience and past competitions, our expectations for the dance team is nothing less than high. Once again the team deserved every single cheer from the crowd.

Showing up in blue tights, the ladies immediately started forming the initial position. The triangular formation quickly transforms into their well-planned movements and postures. The extremely well planned movements and synchronisation with the music was just mesmerizing. Even the toughest haters could not find any mistake or missed beat. They were simply wonderful.

Dances that include high kicks are not an easy act to perform. These types of performances require speed, high level of concentration, extremely good team work and excellent synchronisation.

Skipping one move or just slight alteration of a well planned position can destroy the whole act. People usually enjoy watching these types of dances because of the energy the team spreads across the crowd. You can feel the energy wave just by watching the show.

High kick moves can be detected right away. The regular sharp lines of the formations, the energy, the fast movements and the incredible synchronisation with the music thrills millions of people. We have often seen such dances, not only during dancing competitions, but also during sports games. Famous dance groups, like Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, have been entertaining people for years.

The challenge of having a perfectly synchronized high kick dance is a difficult task. It requires a lot of practice, remembering the moves and following the instructions that are given. A minor ‘change’ of the plan can result in a disastrous chaotic performance.

The outfit of the dancers is adding an extra touch to the act. The universal outfit of the dancers usually tries to reflect the mood and the energy of the dance itself. The Emerald Belles again nailed it with the outfit and they prepared a wonderful show for the audience.

Preemie baby of heroin addict given 30% chance survival, then ‘Angel’ takes him home

To do a bad thing, maliciously violent act, is a very easy task. All you have to do is harm someone you prefer. However, to do a good thing, a thing that will dramatically change other people’s lives takes a lot of courage and desire. You have to believe in it in order to succeed.

Kelly Lively is an excellent example of such good caring person. This well-mannered woman from Indiana did not hesitate doing a lot of sacrifices just to provide love and support to another human being.

Kelly’s devotion to good-doing has been seen through a concrete example. The heart-melting story of Kelly and Marcus puts everyone on the verge of tears. There are very good reasons for that.

Kelly is a nurse and she sees people’s suffering on a daily basis. However, one child just touched her so deeply that it changed the lives of both of them. While volunteering for different NGOs as a nurse, she was in a contact with a lot of patients and social workers. One day, while doing her job, she met a social worker talking about a boy, 13 months old baby, who was abandoned by his drug-addicted mother. Kelly also found out that the boy was not only exposed to dangerous drugs, but also he was born prematurely, which gave him some 30% chance of survival. That just broke Kelly’s heart.

In addition to the terrible circumstances he was born in, the boy was left to be institutionalized. In other words, no one liked to foster care him nor even formally adopt him. That was the turning point for Kelly – she decided to adopt Marcus.

In 2017, Kelly and her sister went to meet Marcus. Their photo posted on Facebook tells everything. Kelly was too glad to take Marcus home and Marcus’ smile, as told by Kelly, was the sign that her love and care were accepted. She also adds that she is thankful for God’s good will and making that happen. Kelly’s sister, Tammy, adds:

“He’s a little fighter…all he needed was a mommy to love him and a chance.”

Marcus’ road to recovery was long. He and his Mom Kelly spent a lot of sleepless nights, fought the problems he was facing with and gave everything just to normalize his health. Nowadays, the boy still has problems with his speech since he has got trach tube. However, all those problems are not obstacle to continue fighting and loving each other.

Kelly’s undertaking was even prised by the doctors themselves. They did not expect Marcus to survive, but they add that thanks to Kelly, ‘the Angel from Heaven’, Marcus lives a second life.

Kelly’s life wasn’t smooth as well. Besides the redheaded sweet boy, there are two more additional reasons for her decision of adopting the cutie. Her inability to carry a child made her life very difficult and hopeless. In addition to that, her loss of her both parents made her extremely lonely. All of these things made her think about the idea of fostering. Luckily, she met Marcus and the wish came true.

Regarding the difficult moments of her life, Kelly says:

“The same day that broke my heart when I lost my mom was the same day I met my joy. I know that God brought us together.”

Hopefully we will hear about other similar cases in the future. We believe there are a lot of people like Kelly. The world needs more caring and lovely people, people that are nor selfish and egoist.

Barbra Streisand sings “It Had To Be You” with Michael Buble

As we grow up, all of us find some kind of idol in the faces of famous people. Whether the idol is a famous music star or some prominent sportsman, the selection is great. This is so true even for already famous and well-established celebrities. Michael Buble proves just the same thing.

We all know Barbra Streisand, I mean, who hasn’t heard of this extremely talented and prominent artist. For millions of people she is one of the most talented film stars, and for additional millions of fans she the best singer ever. Barbra is the music idol for many generations and she still shines on the stage. Michael Buble is one of those loyal fans.

The Canadian famous singer enjoys his fame and success he has achieved. With all those albums and songs and his established position in the music industry, he still thinks that the image is not complete. His wish to sing with Streisand is the thing that will fix that problem. And fixed it is!

Michael got an offer by Barbra to do a duet of the song ‘It Had To Be You’. Her idea was that he should be the one that will stand next to him while this amazing song is performed. Michael does not wait for a second offer – he crabs the chance immediately.

However, as an idol, Barbra’s presence during the recording session made him quite nervous. Therefore, he decided to calm down his tension by opening the session with a joke! He said:

“This is the cheapest recording session I’ve ever had… because you’re paying for it!”

Barbra isn’t one of the world’s most famous artists for no reason. She sensed Michael’s tension in advance and she prepared a special recording session. Knowing that Michael is a fan of big band style of songs, she did just the same thing. The live orchestra behind them did the trick. Both of them did a marvellous job and the emotions they are sending are just wonderful.

Barbara is known for experimenting with the music. This experiment with the live band during recording session is just another exercise of her skills. Regarding it, she says:

“This is the way I’ve always recorded. Since my first album. I’ve recorded with an orchestra. It’s so much fun! I get inspired by what the orchestra’s playing and it makes me do other things that I haven’t thought of until that moment singing with them.”

The whole time they were together they were saving money for the wedding. However, expensive weddings cost a lot and they needed additional 45,000 dollars in order to be able to pay for the event. So, Susan did what she was best at – ruining things.

She asked all the guest that planned to come to the wedding to give them $1000 or $1500 as a wedding gift. She tried to explain that the money will be used to pay for the party, or in other words, to pay their own bill. Susan’s selfish way of seeing things can be seen from this extract of her announcement:

“I SPECIFICALLY, I mean SPECIFICALLY asked for cash gifts. How could we have OUR wedding that WE dream of without proper funding? We’d sacrificed so much and only asked each guest for around $1,500. My maid of honor (who shall not be named) pledged $5,000 along with her planning services. . .

Like, we made it CLEAR. If you couldn’t contribute, you weren’t invited to our exclusive wedding. It’s a once and a lifetime party.”

Since the number of people that gave money was few, she wasn’t able to pay the wedding bill. The long-expected happy day turned out to be a nightmare. She even opened a fund rising page, but that was a total failure as well.

Her reasonable husband told her to organize a smaller wedding in Las Vegas, and this is how she responded to that:

“He wanted those cheap, raggedy, filthy, w**re like Vegas weddings. Am I some Hooch piece of f—ing trash, a h**ker?”

“My ex left the room and didn’t apologize for his horrid suggestion.”

South La Brea Ave in Los Angeles, California is home of the well-known vintage store – ‘The Way We Wore’. The owner of this unique store is Doris Raymond, a person that knows the vintage style and clothing the best. Since early 2000’s she has been looking for old clothes and accessories, storing them and later selling the fabulous pieces of clothes.

In Doris’ store you can find clothes in various different styles and from different time periods. From sportswear, casual everyday skirts, to elegant ceremonial night dresses, her selection is huge. ‘The Way We Wore’ Store offers unique chance for people to be special and one of a kind.

The two-story store is adding new things every day. It’s interesting story and the intriguing concept earned Doris and ‘The Way We Wore’ a TV show – The LA Frock Stars. One episode, the one featured on this page, would not have been that exciting if it wasn’t for Amanda’s story as well. They offer their quite uncommon experience to the audience.

Amanda’ story, as shown on ‘LA Frick Stars’ is amazing. She is having a wedding in just three days and, believe it or not, she doesn’t have a dress! Amanda explains that she did have a dress, but somehow it was destroyed and left her nowhere. Though unprepared, she does not worry that much and gets into the Doris’ store. Luckily, she found just the right place for her!

As Amanda gets into the store, she is warmly welcomed by ‘The Way We Wore’ staff. After explaining her unusual situation, the team is more than happy to accept the challenge. They immediately start the search for the Amanda’s perfect wedding outfit.

Initially, Doris’ team offers two sets of outfits based on Amanda’s vision and wishes. Once Amanda sees the 70’s metallic dress, she knows that she’s entered the store that will save her life. Nevertheless, they move around the store and other designs and accessories are shown to Amanda. The tours moves to the second floor and Amanda sees some more wonderful pieces. She can’t believe what’s really happening. Fortunately, the second floor is the place where she found the dress she fell in love with.

Once the dress is chosen, Amanda tries it on. She does not hesitate expressing her amazement and happiness. Feeling like a princess, Amanda is more than pleased to say that she solved her problem. But, unexpectedly, she sees another pretty silk dress. The second one is equally beautiful and provocative. Now Amanda faces another problem! Having two dresses that she likes, which one is the one that will serve the purpose?

A young pianist displays incredible talent

Music is an inseparable part of everyone’s life. It’s really amazing how we turn to our favorite tune whenever we feel down, as well as when we celebrate our successes and the best moments of our life. However, what is interesting about music is that not only it comforts us and cheers us up, but it helps in the process of brain and intelligence development too. This is why many mothers-to-be expose their children to notes and melodies while they are still in the womb. It is also said that music boosts the little ones’ confidence and creativity. As for this amazingly talented pianist, we can’t say for sure whether she started listening to music while she was just a baby, but we do know her talent is out-of-this world.

When Diane decided to treat the random passersby with her piano skills, she left many wondering how is it even possible for someone so young to be such a professional. This young lady moves her tiny fingers over the keys so smoothly that it looks as though she isn’t even touching them. And the sound she produces resembles that of a piano master. People weren’t even sure if the girl was really playing the instrument or the pleasant sound was coming from a speaker.

She started off with “Hallo” and proceeded to “Rolling in The Deep” before she switched to “The Pirates of The Caribbean’s” main team.

Sweet Diane perfected her talent over the years of dedicated practice and genuine love and passion towards the instrument. She didn’t even hesitate, nor felt any stage fright before she started playing, because doing so comes to her in a natural way. This mini concert took place in front of a hospital, and it’s obvious that no matter how strangers felt before they heard Diane performing, they were now both touched and cheered.

Switching from one song to another, she lighted everyone’s mood. And as some would say the hospital isn’t really the place for a performance like this to take place, we say it really worked as a stress relief therapy not only for the patients and the passersby, but the nurses and the doctors who have so much on their plate, too.

This is really something you don’t want to miss.

Christopher accepted the challenge, especially since Barbara’s given him freedom to do what he thinks is the best for her. Christopher’s skilled hands began with her hair. Immediately he started cutting and styling her fair, giving her a totally new look. The result was amazing.

With a new haircut comes new hair color. The new colour was just the right shade Barbara wanted. In addition to that, the well-established Amy Goulett did a perfect job applying new make-up. The results made Barbara speechless. Barbara’s reaction is priceless.

“I like this new me that emerged. Who I am is now really here and I’m really excited about that.”

Christopher has been in the business for years. Since the early 1990’s he has offered his skills to make women happy and feel fabulous. He started his career in Minneapolis, by opening his Christopher Hopkins Salon. Since the beginning, the salon was a real success. Motivated by the idea of improving women’s style, he re-branded his salon into ‘Revamp Salonspa’. That did affect his business quite positively. Soon enough, he opened his second salon, the ‘MakeOverGuy’.

Women from all around the country visit Christopher and his team. The quality and the treatment they get is the lure to travel hundreds of miles. The satisfaction and the happiness that can be seen on women’s faces is a common phenomenon. Christopher knows how to make women happy. And they appreciate it!

Ellen meets three incredible homecoming queens from same school

Teenage years are that period of life when you have all the time to have fun, make lots of friends, be free, and try a bunch of exciting things for the first time. But, teenage years can also be hard for some. When you are not that cool person everyone greets at the school cafeteria and you have troubles making friends, you may get to despise those school days.

Lillian Skinner is one of those girls who’s not really outgoing and many times she feels like an outcast. That is why her being nominated for homecoming queen made her feel confused. But besides that, she felt deep down how this could be the chance for her to shine and break away. Did this mean she would finally be able to make people like her? Questions like this occupied this young lady.

Sadly, the happiness didn’t last long as Lillian soon discovered how her nomination was a way for some kids to prank her. The two girls who were really nominated were Anahi Alvarez and Naomi Martinez. When these two kindhearted girls learned of what those bullies did to their classmate they agreed that whoever gets the crown pass it to Lillian.

When the so much anticipated night rolled around, Ahani got the crown and was named a homecoming queen. As everyone in the crowd cheered, Ahani did the most amazing thing ever. She said thank you and asked Lillian to take the stage after which she offered her the crown. This action was a true inspiration for many. The girls were praised for their kind deed and their story was heard by many people, among which our favorite host Ellen. She invited the three girls onto her show and presented them with a sweet surprise.

Missing 5-year-old and 8-year-old sisters found alive in woods 44 hours after vanishing

There is nothing scarier for a parent than having their child missing. In this world full of lunatics who take advantage of young children, many moms and dads are concerned for the safety of their little ones. Unfortunately, many times, cases of missing children don’t end up with positive outcomes. Luckily, that wasn’t the case with Caroline and Leia Carrico, 5 and 8-year-old sisters from northern California who went missing in the woods on March 1.

The girls were found two days later, at around 10:30 a.m by the search and rescue teams involved in the process of locating the sisters, Humboldt County Sheriff William Honsal reported.

According to NBC, despite being cold and hungry, both Caroline and Leila were in a good physical shape.

“I’m pleased to report that you’re all witnessing a miracle today,” the sheriff said at a Sunday news conference. “Caroline and Leia have been found safe and sound in southern Humboldt.”

The search teams managed to locate the sisters thanks to the rain boot tracks they left on the muddy road, as well as the granola bar wrappers they left behind. They were eventually found about 1.4 miles south from the place they were reported to be seen last.

It was really amazing how they managed to stay well and hydrated. Honsal said how they drank water from the plants and found a shelter under a patch of huckleberry bushes. Both sisters underwent wilderness survival training through their 4-H club which Honsal believed helped them stay safe and sound.

The older girl even gave her coat to her little sister to keep her warm and the two took care of each other during those scary and long two days.

After the teams heard noises, they called out for the girls who quickly responded. The rescuers followed the sound of their voices and that’s how they located them.

“They were safe and sound, still ambulatory, in good spirits, not injured,” the sheriff said.

The girls were reported missing on March 1 at around 3 p.m

“The two asked to go for a walk,” Honsal said. “The mother said, ‘No.’ And then, in the course of getting things ready and stuff, she noticed they were missing around 3 o’clock.”

She quickly went outside trying to find her daughters. She even asked form her neighbors to help her locate them, but in vain. Some three hours later, the mother reported the case to the police.

The moment the girls were brought home, everyone felt overwhelmed.

“When my two daughters Leia, age 8, and Caroline, aged 5, wandered off into the woods the whole world came to our aid,”

“With the help of the volunteer search and rescue, technical rescue, sheriffs office, local volunteers, multiple other agencies my girls were found after 44 hours.
“My girls were found cold, tired, but alive.”
“We have so many of these kinds of efforts that end up in tears and tragedy,” said Humboldt County Second District Supervisor Estelle Fennell. “Today, we can all shed tears of joy.”

Internet cracking up over clever boy’s call for assistance

Nowadays, we all depend on the technology and its usefulness. Gadgets and devices ease our daily routines and help us in the process of problem solving. For this little Michigander Gracie, the technology was more than handy.

This clever boy has put a smile on millions of people’s faces. His clever and unique way of using the technology to solve a problem he faced up with is just adorable.

Young Gracie and his mother were having a good time visiting their neighbours. However, as all kids out there, the interest of staying with the neighbours soon vanished and Gracie decided that he wants to go home.

To his luck, the Mum allowed him to go back home alone and he was permitted to watch the kids’ channel. But, there was one small problem – he didn’t know what number is the kids channel. Home alone and uninformed, the kid did something so sweet and amazing.

Instead of going back to the neighbours’ or using the Internet, the kid referred to the door bell. Yes, the door bell at the front! He knew his father installed a camera on the door bell, so the young Gracie called his father. The conversation is just so cute.

The word ‘Dad’ repeated several times directly to the camera made his father answer the call. The father-son conversation kicked off. The boy asked his father how to change the channel to the kids‘ one. Patiently the father tells him to press the 25 number. However, a new problem arose. The kid does not know what number is that. Dad is again helpful. He tells the boy to press the digits 2 and 5 and the magic works. The kid’s channel is on.

Having the problem solved, the kid is too happy to continue enjoying his free time. Now that the obstacle is gone, he does not hesitate expressing his happiness and his love to his father. Gracie says to camera:

“That’s buddy. I love you.”

The cute smile and the sincere answers, along with the ingenuity of the kid, pleased more than six million viewers on the Internet.

Man walks into Denny’s, points gun at cashier. Customer jumps into action, tackling him to ground

Places like Denny’s are attractive for people not only because of their wide offer of delicious meals but because you can have your favorite food any time of the day or the night. They offer 24/7 service and enjoying an omelette or a juicy hamburger won’t really cost you a lot.

One particular man, however, decided to visit the place not for the nice food, but for the cash. Johnathan Franklin’s life was a total mess as he had recently got out of prison and was on parole for committing a murder at the time of the attempted robbery of North Highlands Denny’s.

This 50-year-old felon entered the place carrying a gun and threatened the woman behind the counter asking her to give him the money.

Anyone involved in a situation like this would likely stay silent until the cops arrive or until the robber gets what they want and dash off. But not Douglas Tallman who was having breakfast with his family at the time of the incident. He knew he needed to act and later told KTXL:

“My heart dropped. I felt if I didn’t do something, something bad was going to happen.”

“You can just tell by the look on his face he was getting madder and madder, and she was panicking because she couldn’t open it. He was getting mad and I feel he would have shot her if she couldn’t get it open in time. I thought he was going to shoot her.”

“I grabbed him and I picked him up and slammed him on the ground,” he said. “And we just started going at it and the gun was literally … I know had to have been no more than 8 inches away.”

“There was a lot of people in there and I felt if anything was going to happen I’d rather it happen to me than any of them.”

At that moment, this brave man’s son stepped in and tried to help his father getting Franklin down.

“I’m not going to let him fight somebody by himself,” he told KTXL.

Not being able to fight with two people all at once, Franklin fired a shot that hit the 16-year-old’s foot and left the place. He then carjacked a vehicle and collided with a cop’s car.

Tallman says his son is going to be just fine and he is glad no one else got hurt. As for Franklin, he got arrested and taken back to jail. He robbed another place the previous week.

“I’m very proud of him,” Tallman’s wife, Monica, said. “That was somebody’s daughter, somebody’s sister. I’m very grateful that he did what he did.”

“I don’t feel like I’m a hero,” Tallman protested. “I just kind of went on what I thought was right and that was my instinct and my heart.”

For Bo Steele from Alabama the worst day of his life turned out to be the turning point in his music career. What Bo spontaneously did one day in 2014 gave him, unexpectedly, the once-in-a-lifetime chance.

Everything started with his grandmother’s admittance to the hospital. As a good nephew and well-mannered young man, Bo was always near his grandmother since the illness ruined the comfort of their lives.

While staying in the hospital waiting room, one of the nurses suggested him to do anything that could help settle down his worries. So, Bo did what he was best at – singing.

His acapella voice rang through the hospital waiting room and hall. The touching lyrics and the dedication of the song made emotional everyone in the room. But, the patients and the staff were not the only one that heard his vocal skills.

According to their own website, some relevant people from the music industry heard his singing and his wonderful talent. Since Bo and his friend had formed a band some time in the past, the band was offered a deal that could not be turned out. They signed for Fire River Records.

Soon the band started recording many songs that amused the audience, but guess what song was the most beloved? It’s the song he sang in the hospital – ‘Victory in Jesus’. Therefore, the song was recorded and it became part of their repertoire.

Bo later says that the song had a great meaning to him, especially due to the circumstances which the song was sang in. He says:

“It means something to people and that means something to us.”

If your favorite breakfast is grilled cheese than you are at the right place as we are about to make you mind blow away with this new and improved way of preparing this easy and greasy breakfast.

You may wonder what could be different in making mouthwatering grilled cheese. You put butter on a slice of bread, top it with cheese, then add another slice on top of it, you grill it, flip it, and you are ready to get your stomach full. Hmm..apparently there are people doing this a bit differently and claim it gives the cheese more flavored taste. They use mayo instead of butter.

Does that sound appealing enough to give it a try? I say why not.

The person who posted the recipe says:

Mayo spreads better than butter does (crucial when you’re using a softer bread like brioche) and has a higher smoke point (meaning it won’t burn as easily). Plus, the oil and egg in mayonnaise brown nicely add a creamy flavor to the crust.

This is how you do it:

GRILLED CHEESE WITH MAYO

You’ll Need
–2 slices your favorite sandwich bread
–2 slices cheddar or your favorite cheese
–2 to 3 teaspoons mayonnaise

How To

Heat a nonstick pan over low heat.
Spread the two slices of bread with an even coat of mayo.
Place one slice of bread in the pan, mayo-side-down.
Place the cheese slices on top of the bread in the pan.
Add the other slice of bread, mayo-side-up.
Cook the sandwich for a few minutes, until the bottom piece of bread is golden-brown. Flip the sandwich and cook for a few more minutes until the other piece of bread is also golden-brown and the cheese is melted.

Attention! We have some great news for you. Well, we do just in case you are mad about chocolate and all kinds of sweet treats. As you already know, dark chocolate is believed to boost people’s cardiovascular health, but based on some research studies, it also helps in keeping our brain in perfect shape. Isn’t this great?

Now, if you feared that you eat too much chocolate, fear not. The researchers at the University of L’Aquila state how the regular (every day) consumption of cocoa-flavored sweets will help you with your memory, your processing speed, and your verbal fluency. Doesn’t this make you go grab a brownie or a freshly baked muffin?

However, the best part about eating cocoa and chocolate is that it helps individuals who are in memory decline or face other mild cognitive impairments.

“Regular intake of cocoa and chocolate could indeed provide beneficial effects on cognitive functioning over time,”

said review authors Valentina Socci and Michele Ferrara.

This means cocoa affects the brain in a way that is keeps it healthy and improves the cognitive performance in vulnerable population.

“If you look at the underlying mechanism, the cocoa flavanols have beneficial effects for cardiovascular health and can increase cerebral blood volume in the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus,” Socci explains.

“This structure is particularly affected by aging and therefore the potential source of age-related memory decline in humans.”

Plus, it has been proven how those who eat cocoa flavored products regularly do better on demanding cognitive tests.

Now this all sounds good, but it makes you think whether you would risk getting fat all for the sake for a healthier heart and brain if you decide to eat sweets every day. Actually, it makes us ponder on how much chocolate is enough.

“There are potential side effects of eating cocoa and chocolate,” Socci says.

“Those are generally linked to the caloric value of chocolate, some inherent chemical compounds of the cocoa plant such as caffeine and theobromine, and a variety of additives we add to chocolate such as sugar or milk.”

So, we would conclude that it’s not really about how much sweets you eat, but what do you opt for. Just try to limit those chocolates with added sugars or other ingredients that can make you gain weight and always choose dark chocolate over other sugary things.

Time passed by, and Howard and Myra continued with their life. Myra never got married as Howard remained her only true love. Howard on the other hand did get married, but it didn’t last long.

However, a miracle happened in the next 30 minutes. Bella started moving and crying.

There are not many people like this mother in the world. She deserves all words of compliments and admiration. Well done!
