Clint Eastwood’s son Scott looks exactly like his dad and is following into his footsteps

Many young actors in the making who happen to have famous parents who have been in the business way before them and are very successful at what they do find that either as a blessing or as an obstacle, because many expect from them to reach their mom’s or dad’s success. When we think of it, it’s safe to say that many did live by the public’s expectations, such as Michael Douglas whose father was legendary actor Kirk Douglas, or Kate Hudson who followed into her mom Goldie Hawn’s footsteps.

Scott Eastwood, the son of actor and director Clint Eastwood, as you are guessing already, chose to pursue a career in acting just like his dad. Now, if you have seen him in front of the camera, you will definitely agree that he inherited not only his dad’s talent, but his great looks, too.

Happy birthday pops. 88 never looked so good. #legend

A post shared by Scott Eastwood (@scotteastwood) on

When he first started acting, Scott took his mom’s surname as he didn’t want people to think he’s getting roles because of his father and not because of what he has to offer. In fact, Scott isn’t the only Clint’s child who wanted to try themselves in the movie industry, but he is the one who resembles his dad the most.

Throughout the years, Scott has posted photos of him and Clint side by side to show the uncanny similarity.

From roles in movies like Suicide Squad and The Fate of the Furious, Scott, who is dubbed a Hollywood hottie, is a rising star.

However, he was never given any of his roles on a plate. Instead, he auditioned for most of the roles in his dad’s movies and missed being part in many of them. But according to him, his father making him work hard for all he has achieved is the best thing he could ever get. “It was probably the best thing dad could have done for me,” Scott told the Sunday People .“He could have made it easy but I wouldn’t have learnt anything from that.”

“He believes you have to earn your way in life and I agree, although there were a lot of times when I would be angry with him because I knew he could have helped me out with money,” Scott added.

Scott’s latest movie sees him starring alongside Orlando Bloom in a 2020 release called The Outpost.

Honestly, we can’t wait to see more of Scott in the years to come. With such talent and charm, his success is guaranteed.

Take a look at the video of this handsome young man speaking how his dad won’t cast him just because they are family.

Husband won’t put up with a giant bully verbally harassing his wife and springs into action

Have you ever found yourself in a situation in which someone you love and care for was attacked by someone else? I guess if that ever happens, most people will step up and try to confront the attacker. That is exactly what happened when a man’s wife got verbally harassed by a giant bully.

The husband, the guy wearing a red hat, got really mad and couldn’t put up with the person offending his loved one. And although he’s tinier than the bully, that didn’t stop him from teaching the bad guy a lesson he will never forget. We are sure the next time he tries to offend someone else’s wife, he would think twice before doing that.

Source: YouTube

The wife tries to calm her husband down saying, “he’s not worth it,” but the two men are both very frustrated and angry and it’s obvious their argument won’t end peacefully. However, we have to say we didn’t see what the husband did next coming. And as some comment this whole thing was staged, others say things like, “And that, boys and girls, is how a real man handles that situation.”

Check out the video below to see how this husband took matters in his own hands and put the bully in his place, which this time is the ground.

After a successful mission in Georgia, heroic U.S. Marshals save 25 more missing children in Ohio

Last week, the whole country heard of the feat of the U.S. Marshals who managed to track down and rescue nearly 40 missing children during sex trafficking bust in Georgia. Other operations were ongoing and the one in Ohio, “Operation Safety Net,” was a huge success as 25 missing and endangered children between the ages of 13 to 18 years were saved, The Blaze reported.

Speaking to WOIO-TV, US Marshal Peter Elliott said, “These are kids that have been abused, neglected. Some involved in human trafficking.” He then added that in some cases, “the situations they — they go to, believe it or not, may be better than the situations they left from” because it was determined how many of those children were abused and sex trafficked by their own parents.

All of the children were provided with medical help and are now at a safe place.

The goal of the US Marshals was to rescue around 200 missing children in Ohio, so it is very likely the operation will continue in the weeks to come. Elliott added, “This is our first time we have done this, it’s been uncharted territory for us, but we’ve had great success.”

Mansfield News Journal reported that the U.S. Marshals undertook the operation with the assistance of Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, Cleveland Division of Police, the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department, the East Cleveland Police Department, and the Newburgh Heights Police Department.

We are very thankful to everyone involved in “Operation Safety Net.” If it wasn’t for these brave people, all these children would still be in the hands of human sex traffickers and their fate would remain dark.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, over 421,000 children are reported to be missing in the U.S. The number is believed to be way higher as many cases remain unreported and unregistered.

These operations take months of intensive planning. We hope more children will be given a second chance at life all thanks to the heroic Marshals.

75 years after the Holocaust, a drone flies over Auschwitz – the footage is heartbreaking

No war that brings destruction and results in the loss of the lives of the innocent can ever be justified. That 1st of September, 1939, marked the beginning of the most destructive period known as the World War II. One of the reasons Germany attacked Poland was to gather Jews in ghettos and soon after, the first concentration camps were built. By the end of 1945, the number of these camps was 730. Even today, 75 years after the war is over, these places depict the failure of humanity.

Germany, which was led by the Nazis, wanted ethnic cleansing of Jews, Poles, Romani people, homosexuals, and people with disabilities.

Those people imprisoned in the concentration camps were used as an industrial workforce and were starved to death. One of the most notorious concentration camps, known as death camps, is Auschwitz. During the war, more than 1.3 million people were sent there. 1.1 million of them were murdered, and 1 million were Jews.

People share stories of their family members who suffered by the hands of the Nazis, and even now, those chilling words touch us to the core.

“When my grandmother came to Sweden on the White Buses, she weighed only 66 pounds. The buses were organized by a Swedish count named Folke Bernadotte who wanted to save Scandinavian war prisoners during the last part of the war.

“The buses were painted with red crosses in order to avoid attacks.

“Between 15,000 and 30,000 people escaped, thanks to the buses. Most of them were Scandinavian, but in the final weeks of the war, the administration broke down and others were able to use the buses, as well.”

Among those who were rescued by the White Buses, 4,000 were Jews.

“My uncle Moses was born in 1932. From the time he was 5 years old, he worked in a glass factory by the order of the SS (Schutzstaffel). The factory was near the SS headquarters in the Polish city of Piotrków, where Moses was born. The children were considered good workers since their tiny hands could polish glass in places where adult hands were too big and clumsy.”

Moses worked in that factory for three years before he and his mom, Miriam, were sent to a concentration camp in Ravensbrük.

“My grandfather was sent to the Buschenwald concentration camp. Miriam was murdered, and Moses was sent to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. There, he was taken care of by a woman who later was given the name “The Angel of Bergen-Belsen,” for saving so many orphans.”

“By the end of the war, Moses was sent to Sweden.

“After the war, my grandfather Saoul searched for over a year before discovering that some children had been brought to Sweden. He went there and managed to find his son.

“Saoul and my grandmother Rosa met in Sweden. Both of their parents had been killed, and six of my grandmother’s seven siblings had been murdered. My grandfather’s first wife and all six of his siblings were all killed.”

Not many of those who survived the Holocaust are still around us, but the stories of their life and suffering will live forever. We all have to make sure for the evil that happened to the Jews to never be forgotten.

Facebook ad of Aussie trucker who offers “rent-a-daddy” services is going viral

Thinking of switching jobs? Not a bad idea, really, but what field would you like to try yourself in?

An Aussie trucker thought really hard about it and came up with a brilliant idea that took the whole world by storm.

He took to Facebook and offered his services as a rent-a-daddy. Yes, you read it right. He obviously knew how hard it is for some dads to be there whenever their kids need them, so he decided to step up for them and for single moms as well and charge for his services.

Source: Facebook

Based on what he has to offer, it looks like Jake James (or Orr according to some) of Blue Haven, Australia, is the guy to contact whenever you need someone to fill in the role of your kids’ daddy.

Some of the services he offers are his presence at school pick-ups and drop-offs, “all sporting events” and “up to three activities of the kids’ choice”. The costs of his services start at $30. On top of all this, Jake offers “three hours of instructional learning of valuable life skills”, such as car maintenance and lawn mowing.

Source: Facebook

However, this guy goes even further and says that for additional amount of money he would even come to family events, birthday parties, and Sunday afternoons.

No one really knows whether he posted his ad which is captioned “Trying out a new career move to get away from trucks so everybody get onboard and support your boy. Rent a daddy today,” for real or just for laugh, but what everyone knows is that it is both unique and hilarious. It definitely caught the attention of many and people are posting very positive comments. One person writes, “I don’t have kids but can I still rent you? I have fur babies if that counts,” while another adds, “I actually think it’s a good idea, good on this man for wanting to step up…where do I apply?”

Mom delivers identical healthy quadruplets amid COVID-19 pandemic

The anticipation of the first ultrasound after learning they are expecting is a very special moment for every parent-to-be. That is the moment when future moms and dads get to hear their little one’s first heart beat, and that’s an experience to cherish.

When Jenny Marr and her husband Chris visited a doctor regarding her pregnancy, they never assumed the news they were about to hear. When Dr. Lauren Murray gave them a ‘strange’ look, they feared something could be wrong, but then, they were told how they weren’t expecting one baby, but three.

“I was like, ‘Oh no, there’s no heartbeat.’ And, she’s like, ‘No, there is a heartbeat.’ She goes, ‘Y’all, there’s three babies in there.’ And we were just absolutely floored,” Jenny said, spreaking with TODAY.

A week later, these overwhelmed parents visited a maternal-fetal medicine specialist only to receive another huge surprise.

“The tech — who was doing the initial (scan) — she gave me a funny look. We were like, ‘Oh what’s going on now?’ We got worried again,’” Chris told TODAY.

“She was really cute. She said, ‘I’m not supposed to say this, but y’all got four babies.’”

Credit / Marr Family

Conceiving with quadruplets naturally is sort of a miracle. These pregnancies only happen once in around 15 million and they are not only rare, but awesome. Just imagine the feeling of carrying four little souls inside your body.

Chris said: “I made the joke that I am not coming back because there are going to be five babies next time. We were just shocked. Jumping from three to four was easier to swallow. Just after that we heard they were healthy.”

And their doctor, Dr. Murray was as excited as the parents because as she said, this will probably happen only once during her career and she was happy she got to witness something so incredible.

When it comes to twin pregnancies, it can easily happen for one of the babies to be more dominant inside the womb and get most of the nutrients from their mommy. Doctors feared that could be the case here and even considered a surgery if something like that happened. But the four brothers were more than willing to share and were developing perfectly healthy.

The pregagncy went well, so at the start of the coronavirus pandemic, babies Harrison, Hardy, Henry and Hudson were welcomed into the world on march 15, via a c-section.

“They were all born in three minutes. It’s incredible,” Jenny said. “We called them our baby birds because they really looked like baby birds.”

Three of the four bundles of joy stayed in the neonatal intensive care for 10 weeks, and early in May, there were all home.

“We just hope that this little story and our boys bring as much joy to everybody as they bring to us,” Jenny explained.

We wish this happy family all the best. They are all so cute, aren’t they?

Moments before officer dies, security camera captures his final act of kindness towards a young man

Police officer Jeremy Henwood used to be a Marine who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was described by many as a kind man with a heart of gold who had done a lot for this country. His family was glad he was finally home, not assuming his life would end in a tragic manner.

He survived the hostile foreign lands, but his home country turned to be deadlier. This incredible man was shot while he was driving his car, for no reason.

YouTube

Before he lost his life, he was at the local McDonald’s in San Diego where he showed his kindness one final time. As he was waiting in line, a 13-year-old boy named Daevon approached him and asked for 10 cents that he lacked to buy some food. Officer Henwood was more than happy to give him the money, and he even bought him the cookie he wanted. The whole thing was captured on the restaurant’s security camera and was shared after the officer lost his life a few miles from the restaurant.

When Daevon heard what happened, he was sad and felt like he lost someone very close. He said he will always remember how the officer stepped in for him. The family is mourning the loss of their loved one but say he will always be remembered as a kind-hearted man.

Thousands of people were present at his memorial service. Rest in peace Officer Henwood, you will never be forgotten.

Take a look at the video of this man’s kind act below. He’s such an inspiration!

Woman sees someone dumping a cardboard box on the street, approaches and finds a tiny, abandoned puppy inside

Those people who leave their pets behind and treat them with disrespect are the absolute worst types of human beings. Sadly, animal abandonment happens way more often that we can assume and the number of stray canines and felines in the U.S alone is around 70,000. And that’s 70,000 reasons for our hearts to be broken in that many pieces.

The following story starts with a cruel owner, a sad puppy, and a woman who would always go above and beyond for any animal in need of help.

Source: YouTube screenshot, The Dodo

Namely, Shannon has security cameras installed outside her place and it was on one of the footage that she noticed a man was carrying a box that he placed at the nearby parking lot in the middle of the night. She though it was suspicious so she decided to get out and check what was going on. She assumed there could be an animal inside the box, and just moments later, she realized she was right.

A scared and trembling Pit Bull puppy whose ribs were visible through his skin was looking at her. The sweet little creature was confused and obviously very thirsty and hungry. “He was in such a terrible condition,” Shannon said speaking to The Dodo. “But he was still fighting and he was still hanging on.”

Shannon took him home and gave him something to eat. He didn’t look very healthy as patches of fur were lacking from his fragile body. But, the good thing was that he was now in the safe hands of his kind rescuer.

The pup was named Jiminy Cricket and is now part of the family. He gets to spend his days around her human mommy’s kids and the rest of her dogs, who are all rescue dogs.

Source: YouTube screenshot, The Dodo

As time passed by, Jiminy Cricket became comfortable around his new family and today he’s the biggest dog of all four. “This dog has been with us and has become such a part of our family,” Shannon added. “So we decided that Jiminy Cricket is staying with us and is going to be our fourth rescue dog.”

Source: YouTube screenshot, The Dodo

Jiminy Cricket thought he was unfortunate to be left behind, but that turned to be the best thing as it led him to someone who truly loves him and is happy to have him around.

“The boys and I could not imagine our life without Jiminy Cricket in it,” Shannon concluded.

Dog who was missing for 3 months was found in a cave, shivering and starved, by surfers

This is one heck of a rescue story, so stay here to learn all about Stella, a dog who spent three months fending for herself at a remote location before she was finally spotted by someone.

Matty Johnson and Zach Regan were on their boat, taking a surfing and a fishing trip near Juan de Fuca trail, the western coast of Vancouver Island. However, as the weather got bad, they decided to row their boat to the shore. It was then that they noticed something that left them in complete disbelief. A poor dog was hiding in a cave. She was all scared and shivering, and the pair had no idea how she even managed to survive there all by herself.

“Just glancing in the caves as we were going by, I saw tan legs walk out, just a glimpse, and I thought, ‘Oh that looks like an animal,’” said Regan. “It was very clear that it was a dog … and we immediately decided it was in major distress,” he added. “It was evident that she couldn’t escape, she was stuck in this cave and little beach area.”

So, both the surfers became aware that their trip would quickly turn into a rescue mission the whole country and even the world will learn of.

According to them, the rescue involved “wet-suit, a surfboard, a lasso, almost being bitten in the face, a reef, big waves, and awesome teamwork.”

ROAM – Reuniting Owners with Animals Missing

“[Matty] one-arm paddled out, I came in with the boat and I grabbed her before she sank to the bottom because she was so weak,” said Regan.

Soon after the dog was on their boat, the three headed back home to Sooke together. Regan took a lot of photos of the dog that would later spread all over the Internet along with the amazing story of the canine that fended for herself for three months.

ROAM – Reuniting Owners with Animals Missing

Regan named the dog Shaggy Maggy as he still didn’t know her real name was Stella.

After he contacted Reuniting Owners with Animals Missing (ROAM), he learned that Stella went missing during her human parents’ honeymoon. They had the rest of their dogs with them too, but it was Stella who ran away and was nowhere to be seen. They searched for her for five days before they were forced to give up.

ROAM – Reuniting Owners with Animals Missing

“Believe it or not they were on their honeymoon on May 2 on a hike with their dogs and their dog, Stella, that we found, vanished,” said Regan.“So for three months she was there in that area doing whatever to survive,” he said. “I think it’s miraculous. It’s a god***n miracle, it’s one of the best things ever.”

The reunion was an emotional one as her owners couldn’t wait to see her again. They couldn’t believe she was alive and were overjoyed to have her back again.

Thanks to Johnson and Regan, Stella can now get back to her old life. We are very happy everything turned for the best for her.

Teen is devastated after someone outbids him for late dad’s car at auction – then highest bidder says “here’s your car”

When Tanner Brownlee’s father, deputy Sam, died in 2010, he and his brother were very young. The loss touched them deeply and they never got over it completely, but did all in their power to continue living their lives the best they could together with their mom.

Tanner didn’t have a lot to remind him of his dad, except for some belongings among which a motorcycle jacket.

Source: YouTube – Denver7 – The Denver Channel

But then, five years after Sam’s passing, the family learned that his car, a Dodge Charger, was being auctioned off. Tanner knew he had to have it. Driving his dad’s vehicle would mean the world to him, so he tried his best to find the money. He and his brother even started a GoFundMe page and managed to raise $3,340. It wasn’t much, but they knew they had to give it a go and try to get the car.

Source: YouTube – Denver7 – The Denver Channel

On the day of the auction, the family bid and bid, but someone had more money to offer. When they learned their dad’s car now belonged to someone else, their hearts broke into a million pieces. None of them, however, was ready for what followed.

Source: YouTube – Denver7 – The Denver Channel

As it turned out, the winning bidder knew Tanner’s story and was aware what that car meant to this young boy, so, just after he was handed the keys, the man took the stage and did something truly incredible and worth every praise. He called Tanner and said, “Here’s your car.”

Source: YouTube – Denver7 – The Denver Channel

Tanner couldn’t believe what he had heard. With tears of joy running down his cheeks, he stood up and hugged the winning bidder. “This is just so huge. I mean, me and my dad built a fence and stuff. But having something I can use and drive around that he drove around, it just means a lot,” the teen said.

Tanner, who has recently learned how to drive and got his driving license, drove his mom and brother home, just like their father did in the past. The family was over the moon, both for the car and for the fact there were still generous people out there like the winning bidder who gave them a part of their father whom they all miss dearly.

Once the story spread around and was picked by media outlets, it has been seen over 37 million times. This is what people have to say of the touching video.

The winning bid for the car, which was $60,000, will go to charity. May God bless the bidder who did two kind deeds in a day. We need more people like him in the world. Take a look at the video below and don’t forget to share it with your friends.

Little boy’s potty-training talk is so funny it makes dad cry with laughter

I am sure there is no person who hasn’t felt embarrassed because of things they did in certain period of their life. Well, some of those things make us laugh too and we look back at them as an exciting part of our life experiences.

This viral video of a little boy who is potty-trained and makes everyone laugh will certainly be something he would be either proud or embarrassed of when he grows up.

But no matter the ‘consequences,’ we know this will bring a huge smile on the face of everyone who gets to see it. It shows this little boy will turn into a person with a vibrant personality ready to make everyone’s day.

We are so glad Matty’s parents decided to put this experience on tape. As his mom is recording, the child could be heard saying, “I didn’t poop, I peed.” And he just knows what he says is funny so he puts some extra effort and says it in a sassy voice.

His daddy found this so hilarious that he asked Matty once again if he pooped, to what the kid says, “No, I peed.” He then says it a couple of times more, each time with a sassier voice than before. The dad just couldn’t keep it together and burst out laughing.

The laughing was so hard that Matty’s dad even started crying. Matty was a bit surprised because he knew people only cry when they are sad so he got a bit worried for his daddy and asked, “Are you sad, daddy?”

But daddy was there to calm him down and tried to explain that people sometimes cry when they are very happy too. It looked like Matty understood that and felt relieved.

On top of that, he wanted to cheer his daddy even more by repeating the words again and again.

People loved Matty so much that the video of him was shared more than 800,000 times and had 283,000 likes. It made the day of around 27 million people in just three weeks and it speaks of how much everyone loved it.

We just hope that when he sees it in a couple of years time, Matty will love it as much as we did.

Sweet ”Cassandra Cooper Ingalls” from Little House on the Prairie is as beautiful as always and again in front of the camera

Why we are so “obsessed” with the story line of our favorite series “Little House on the Prairie” is probably because the Ingalls family stood for honestly, love, and true values. Something that we don’t see that often nowadays.

If you were a fan as well, you definitely remember the cutest little girl with enchanting green eyes, Cassandra Cooper Ingalls. She starred in seasons 7 and 8 after the Ingalls adopted her after her parents died in an accident.

Facebook / Little House on the Praire

Cassandra was played by actress Melissa “Missy” Francis who now looks as beautiful as in her old days. What’s most, she’s very successful at what she does today.

Melissa’s career didn’t start with the series, but way earlier than that. At only six months old, she shot a commercial for a shampoo and everyone somehow knew she belonged in front of the camera.

However, it was the role of Cassandra who opened her the doors to Hollywood, which she later left in order to pursue a career in another industry.

Although she was very young back then, she clearly recalls her first encounter with the “Little House on the Prairie” producer, director and writer, Michael Landon.

”I didn’t know who he was, but you could tell by the energy in the room that he was an important person. He electrified the audition the moment he laughed at my wide eyes, framed by long ropes of brown braids.

“So, you’re Missy?” he boomed with a wide grin. Remember, I still had no idea exactly who he was, but suddenly that room felt like Christmas and that man was clearly Santa”, she wrote in her book ”Lessons from the Prairie”.

Screenshot

In fact, Melissa says she owes a lot to Landon. He was the person who installed work ethics in her and the rest of the cast of the series, and as a result, all of them turned into decent human beings who succeeded a lot in their lives. She even says that it was Landon who taught her how to overcome difficulties and challenges, which later helped her cope with her mother whom she blamed for her sister’s death.

Melissa’s sister Tiffany died in 2002 after a long period of alcohol abuse.

Their complicated relationship with their mother who was always angry affected Tiffany a great deal. Melissa says Tiffany let their mother’s words touch her and that resulted in her turning to the alcohol.

”The “Little House” experience taught me, among other things, how to turn disaster into golden opportunity; that the good guys really do win in the end, even though they may not always lead at the turn; to identify and chase my passion without letting myself be distracted by fear; and to believe in miracles,” she says.

In 2012, she decided to end up the relationship with her mom and they haven’t spoken ever since.

Melissa Francis / Facebook

After taking part in several movies, Melissa quit from acting and earned a degree in economics from the Harvard University. However, as time passed by, she realized she missed being in front of the camera and took a job as a television reporter.

“My very first live shot, I looked like a deer in headlights. I just totally froze when the anchor tossed it to me … I had a rough time learning to be live on television and I almost think it was harder, because I was just so used to being so rehearsed,” she said.

Today, she hosts shows on the Fox Business Network and the Fox News Channel.

Melissa Francis / Facebook

Melissa is married to husband Wray Thorn with whom she has three children; sons Greyson and Thompson, and daughter Gemma.

During giving birth to her sons, Melissa nearly died each time and was diagnosed with a hereditary condition known as Factor V Leiden.

She and Tony wanted a third child but because doctors advised her not to get pregnant again they got sweet Gemma via surrogacy.

We are so glad things turned great for this incredibly beautiful woman.

Adopted rescue dog gets a new life and his own food bowl he sleeps with every single night

Adopting a dog means changing that creature’s life entirely forever.

A woman named Susanne, who is a huge animal lover, stumbled upon a little guy named Neville at a local shelter. Something about that 10-year-old Jack Russell terrier mix filled her heart with joy. She just knew she had to have him. Speaking to The Dodo of that serendipitous encounter, Susanne said, “I knew instantly that I loved him! I queued for three hours outside the center to ensure I was the first to register my interest, and we bonded the moment we clapped eyes on each other.”

Neville was admitted at the shelter as a stray dog and his rescuers could say his life wasn’t an easy one. He wasn’t neutered and was likely used as a breeding dog throughout the years. However, Susanne was there to change that and give him a second chance for a better life.

After he was treated for his bad teeth, Neville was about to learn how to behave around the rest of his human mommy’s dogs. At first, he would eat from the ground and would fight with his doggy siblings for the food bowl. Well, that’s what life taught him to in order to have his belly full. Luckily, he would soon realize that he would have his own bowl; one he would refuse to depart from in the days and years to come.

“I had to train him to eat from a bowl, and once he caught on to it, he treasured that bowl,” Susanne said. “He just seems so heartbreakingly grateful for a simple bowl. I think it represents comfort and home for him.”

It’s so awesome Neville got the life he deserves, and of course, a personal bowl which never lacks food. We hope more people would become aware of the importance of adopting over buying their pets.

73-year-old elephant who spent her life experiencing only violence is finally rescued and taken to a new home

Animals are meant to be respected and left to live their life freely in their natural habitat. Sadly, because of the human greed, many are held in captivity and forced to serve as slaves.

Sook Jai is an elephant who has spent all her life experiencing violence by her handlers. She was used for trekking as a tourist elephant and was left on the streets to beg for money. The way she was treated during the 73 years of her life took its toll and Sook Jai ended up both blind and deaf.

Luckily, she was finally rescued and given a chance to spend the rest of her life free and loved.

Elephant News posted a video of this incredible creature’s life story and wrote, “Sook Jai’s life is much the same as every captive elephant, working many different jobs over the course of their lives, some more arduous than others, all an affront to their dignity. Sook Jai’s life passed through the hands of a number of men. She moved from job to job and from one place to another, working relentlessly until falling down.”

At the time she was taken to the Elephant Nature Park, her new forever home, Sook Jai’s body was all covered in wounds. The journey from the Kanchanaburi province, west Thailand, where Sook Jai was found, to the Elephant Nature Park took around 20 hours. Her rescuers made sure she was comfortable at all times.

“On the ride, she looked very hungry but would not eat anything as the suspense was too much,” the website said. “After 20 hours of journey, she arrived at the park and took her first step to the sanctuary. Sook Jai was very easy to get off of the truck to her new home.”

Incredibly, despite being blind and deaf, Sook Jai could feel she was at a better place. She expressed her relief by shedding tears of joy.

“Sook Jai reached up her trunk to smell her new home, sending low rumbles out into the field, tears running down her face,” Elephant News wrote on YouTube. “A peaceful life is hers now. Though her eyes are dim and hearing faint, we hope that love will be a light for her living.”

Everyone who has seen the video of this lovely creature’s rescue was overwhelmed. People from all over the world expressed their gratitude to Sook Jai’s rescuers for everything they did for her and for teaching her that not all humans are bad.

One person wrote, “I cried the moment I saw she cried and waiving her trunk. She knows she’s free now. Please save and rescue more and more elephants, together we can do it!” Another added, “Absolutely wonderful to see her finally rescued. May the time she has left make up for her harsh life of labour & cruelty. Thank you to her rescuers.”

Nearly 40 missing children saved by U.S. Marshals during sex trafficking bust in Georgia

Nearly 40 missing children authorities believe were all already or potential victims of sex trafficking were rescued during a mission named “Operation Not Forgotten.” Both state and federal agents took part in tracing the victims down in the operation which spanned across 20 countries in Atlanta.

WSBTV reported the statement given by U.S. Marshals Service Director Donald Washington who said, “These missing children were considered to be some of the most at-risk and challenging recovery cases in the area, based on indications of high-risk factors such as victimization of child sex trafficking, child exploitation, sexual abuse, physical abuse, and medical or mental health conditions. Other children were located at the request of law enforcement to ensure their wellbeing.”

Medical and social workers are helping the children overcome the trauma and the traffickers are arrested and placed behind bars.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp praised everyone involved in the operation posting on Twitter.

Currently, similar operations in other countries are ongoing and everyone hopes for the same outcome as in “Operation Not Forgotten.”

Washington says, “One missing child is worth thousands, in my mind, of fugitives that we go out and get.”

We are glad and relieved all these children are now safe and we hope U.S. Marshals Fugitive Hunters and the rest of the agencies would do all in their power to help other sex trafficking victims in the future as they did this time.

Farmer left in shock after receiving a photo on Snapchat showing teenagers terrorizing his farm animals

Societies tend to consider teenagers as careless and immature, and as much as we want to believe that’s not always the case, cases like this one show that parents do need to spend a lot of time teaching them right from wrong, otherwise, they can easily take the wrong path in life.

Jimmy Abma is a fourth generation farmer from Wyckoff, New Jersey, who experienced something truly horrible. It was around 10.30 p.m. when he received a photo on Snapchat that left him in a complete shock. It showed teenagers terrorizing the animals on his farm.

He shared what happened with ABC News and said how he rushed to the farm only to see the group of teens riding his donkeys. On top of that, they also broke into his market and stole things.

“We must explain the seriousness of this break in,” Abma Farms posted on Facebook. “First and foremost, we are a working farm, and four families (and four generations) live here. This is our home. Second, from a human safety standpoint, breaking in to animal pens with no animal training is dangerous. Animals can kick, rear up, and trample you. In the dark, anything can happen. Third, the safety of OUR animals has been compromised and that IS. NOT. OKAY. Our animals are now shaken and skiddish (sic) compared to their normal relaxed nature. This is very troubling to us.”

Jimmy Abma is a fourth generation farmer from New Jersey.

He chased the teenagers away, but some of the animals were gone. Thankfully, they all returned home the following morning and Abma noticed how the wrongdoers even put lipstick on some of them.

He was outraged to say the least.

Teens broke into the farm and rode on the donkeys in the petting zoo.

“All the gates were open in the pens, a couple of the animals you couldn’t even get close to,” Abma told ABC News affiliate WABC. “They were all skittish, they were all jumping around. This our house. This is our yard. This is our livelihood. With something like this, it is almost like you just get sucker punched in the side and you really have to go around say ‘is it really worth it? Do I really need to keep my zoo open for all these frustrations?’”

The farm was closed the following Monday so a veterinarian could check the animals out.

A vet checked on the traumatized animals and Abma said he even reconsidered his decision of opening the petting zoo again. However, he got the support from the community but says he won’t be at ease until the teenagers are caught.

The farmer said his goats have been acting skittish since the incident.

“Everybody has been concerned, everybody is concerned about the animals, the well-being of everything that has gone on,” Abma said. “Everybody wants us to bring these kids up to speed and make sure that they have to deal with what they did.”

We honestly hope these teens won’t get away with what they do. Take a look at the video below for the whole story.

Dad of four is warning parents after his 17-month-old son’s feet “melted” at a splash pad

The family of Andrew Sechrist from Seattle was looking forward to a fun summer day at the local splash pad, not assuming something horrible will happen.

As the four kids were running around and enjoying the water and the sun, the youngest one, 17-month-old Jackson, started screaming all of a sudden. Andrew rushed to check on him as he believed the boy tripped and fell, but that wasn’t the reason why the sweet toddler was in so much pain.

Andrew spoke to CafeMom about the incident because he wanted to warn parents to be extra cautious when visiting places like splash pads and said, “Everything was going well for about 15 minutes. I saw Jackson off to the side, about five feet from a water toy and I ran over, thinking he had fallen, to console him.”

“I picked him up and took him to a different section of the water area, but he was still inconsolable,” Andrew added.

Then, this worried father tried to dry Jackson off when he noticed his feet were literally melted. It was painful to watch, so imagine how the little boy must have felt with such severe burns.

“I could feel the heat coming off of them,” he said. “I looked down and noticed that the skin had basically melted on the bottoms of both of his feet.”

Andrew realized that Jackson walked over the metal electrical grate which Q13 Fox tested the following day and found the temperature it reached was 130 degrees. “Just putting my hand on here like that, I can’t keep it here for half a second, and my 1-1/2-year-old son walked across [it],” Andrew said.

It wasn’t surprising Jackson got second-degree burns. He was immediately rushed to the hospital and soon transferred to Harborview Medical Center to be treated by a specialist in their burns unit.

Thankfully, Jackson will get the treatment and will hopefully feel better shortly.

We hope no other child will ever get such bad injuries because of an innocent mistake of getting near a metal electrical grate. So, if you take your kids to a splash pad, make sure you keep a close eye on them at all times.

A post shared by Pat Boone (@thepatboone) on

A year after he tied the knot, Pat’s career took off. His version of Fats Domino’s “Ain’t That a Shame” put him under the limelight. When he turned 23, Pat got his own show, The Pat Boone Chevy Showroom, which aired on ABC every week for 115 episodes until 1960.

Even that young, Pat had a lot to be proud of.

Pat appeared in several popular films, including April Love (1957), the science-fiction movie Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959), and the musical State Fair (1962), in which he starred with fellow teen idols Bobby Darin and Ann-Margret.

Pat and Shirley had four daughters together whom they raised as they both had very successful careers. Shirley worked both as an actress and an assistant director.

“Not many people in this crazy business stay married to one person for 65 years, but Shirley went to Heaven ahead of me last year and I’m on my own now,” Pat said talking to The Christian Post.

Pat confesses that he’s still grieving for the love of his life. The ‘50s star lives in the same Beverly Hills, California, home the couple purchased together in 1960. “I’m living here alone with a housekeeper and my dog, a little cocker spaniel,” he told Closer Weekly. “Shadow is his name.”

Pat’s love for Shirley and his words describing her and his life after her touched millions of hearts.

“We lived a wonderful, blessed life together for 65 years. I’ve parted with my better half for a little while … but we don’t die, we just move on to another place, and today was moving day. She’s changed her address is all and moved to a different mansion that I expect to join her in one day.”

Devoted wife prayed under husband’s hospital window for weeks, sadly, he died of COVID-19

The coronavirus pandemic changed how we live. Today, nothing is the way it used to be and no one knows when things are going to get back to normal.

Sadly, this deadly virus killed a lot of people, and as we hear of the numbers of those affected by it, we somehow forget those people are someone’s sons and daughters, husbands and wives, moms and dads.

On August 14, David Gutierrez from Tomball, Texas, passed away from COVID-19. He was at the hospital for weeks and his devoted wife spent all that time praying for him under the hospital window.

Screenshot

Speaking of the hard time the family went through, wife Michelle Gutierrez said it was almost impossible for them to be with her husband and they were given two options. “We can all be there and turn his machine off … so we can be there when he passes. And I did not want to do that. The other option was to visit with him for about an hour and get the phone call … when he passed,” she said. Michelle decided to spend time with her loved one.

David, who was a father of five, spent five weeks batling COVID-19. Most of the time, he was in a coma and on life support.

The family spent an hour with him on the day he left this world. After visiting hours were over, Michelle left the hospital and went to the spot under the window to pray, but just three hours later, she got the call that changed her life, David died.

“Even though I didn’t save David’s physical life, he is with me. He is OK,” she said.

Rest in peace David, our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Man punches officer in the face, but K9 partner steps in and knocks the man down

Nothing speaks friendship and loyalty as dogs. These loving creatures are always more than ready to go above and beyond for their humans. Now imagine what would a K9 do if someone tries to mess with their partner and handler. A man named Tony Mann, 31, learned the answer to this the hard way after he punched officer Roman Scuadroni in the face, not knowing his K9 Lee wouldn’t just sit there and watch his handler being attacked.

Mann was reported to be behaving strangely and dancing in the property of a man named Randy Martinez from Newburgh, New York, who called the police and said it was looking as though Mann was on drugs.

Speaking to the Times Herald-Record on Monday, Martinez said, “I rolled down the window and was going to tell him he can’t be on my property, and then he takes out his knife, and I’m just like, ‘Oh, God, no. What’s going to happen?’”

K9 Lee and officer Scuadroni answered the call and arrived at the scene. But just when Scuadroni approached Mann, he punched him in the face. The officer was taken aback by what had happened but tried to stay calm and took a moment before he opened his police vehicle door — letting loose Lee.

Lee jumped into action and chomped down on Mann’s arm while officer Scuadroni put his arms around his neck trying to restrain him. In a matter of minutes, another officer came to the scene and helped Scuadroni put Mann handcuffs.

After the whole thing was over, Mann was arrested and charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, third-degree assault, and second-degree menacing.

Things turned for the best thanks to K9 Lee who showed his courage and helped his partner. The whole thing was caught on tape by Martinez but due to the violence it involved it was soon taken off of Facebook.

Police officers discover danger inside 92-year-old veteran’s home and go above and beyond their job to help him

As most people believe how being robbed is one of the worst things that can happen to them, a world war II veteran could probably never imagine how reporting such a crime could trigger a series of incredible events that would turn his life for the better.

92-year-old Louis C. Hicks, from Austin, Texas who did a lot for this country and served in the war wasn’t having it easy in his old days. The poor man was living in a place with no proper heating which made it difficult for him to get cozy during the cold winter.

One day, however, an unpleasant event turned his faith around. Someone started stealing tools from the shed behind his house, so the veteran contacted the Austin Police Department and reported the crime.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they realized this man’s home was cold. Officer Chastity Salazar couldn’t help but notice how he struggled keep himself warm.

“That’s just what we do as police officers,” Salazar said. “I had realized that he’s using the oven. I know that’s not safe. His gas is on.”

Thanks to Officer Salazar’s kind heart, veteran Hick was about to get everything he needed to have a decent life. That was the thank you Hicks got by the staff from the police department for serving the country.

The officers got this man a brand new heater and arranged for him to receive an electric fireplace installed in his home.

But the generosity of these good people didn’t stop there. Officer Bino Cadenas started visiting Hicks regularly just to make sure he gets essentials such as shirts and underwear, as well as chips and peanuts that he really loves.

This loving man admits how he would never ask for help himself, but now that people offered it to him, he is happy to accept it.

“I’ve never had no one to do nothing for me,” an emotional Hicks said. “After my mother passed away and left me to take care of my two sisters — nobody never did nothing to help me.”

“You hate to ask anybody ’cause sometimes they’ll frown on you, and I’m a true veteran,” Hicks said. “I won’t ask. I won’t ask.”

Officer Salazar is glad things turned for the best for this veteran who now accepts the kindness with an open heart.

“He’s just offered me a lot of kindness, too,” Salazar said. “So to know that he’s also served, and now I’m able to serve and give back to people like him.”

“The things I’ve been trying to do since the ’40s. I’ve been asking for help and now it just came in. God is good,” Hicks said.

Share this lovely story with your family and friends to wish them well-being too.

Woman slides into the sea from a yacht and right into the path of an eight-foot long shark

A terrifying moment or a once in a lifetime experience? I would say both.

A video of a woman taking a ride down a slide from a yacht and right into the path of a shark is going viral and people are going crazy over it.

Iso Machado was celebrating a friend’s birthday and as they were all having fun, Machado decided to get into the water. A friend of her son, Kevan Sarota, decided to film her without knowing he would capture a moment to remember that would be seen my millions of people worldwide.

Machado had an encounter with an 8-foot long shark. When the people on board noticed the black creature, they panicked. Machado’s son could be heard yelling, “Oh my God, oh my God, Mom! Don’t freak out, don’t freak out. Wait, this isn’t funny.”

But as it turned out, Machado wasn’t as alarmed as those filming and witnessing the incredible encounter. On the contrary, she was fascinated she got to be so close to a shark.

Speaking of the incident, Sarota told Jam Press, “As she was going down one of the crew members yelled and pointed from the deck below which caught all of our attention. As the shark approached we couldn’t figure out what type it was.”

“We were worried and immediately jumped in to make sure Iso was okay when it changed directions but she remained calm and it bumped her then continued on its way,” he added.

They soon realized the shark was a nurse shark, which for the most part are harmless for swimmers and snorkelers.

The video was first posted on TikTok and was shared over 25 thousand times. Later, it was posted on Instagram where it has been seen over 3.4 million times. Take a look at the incredible video below.

Father and 3-year-old daughter shot dead in their Kentucky home in the middle of the day

The lives of 3-year-old Trinity Randolph and her 21-year-old father Brandon Waddles were lost after the two were killed in their Kentucky home. The girl was said to be playing in her “Frozen” dollhouse at the time of the shooting.

GoFundMe

The reason behind the gruesome killing remains unknown and the killers are not yet identified.

Family members and neighbors describe sweet Trinity as the sweetest girl ever. Joyous, outgoing, beautiful and intelligent are just some of the attributes this cute girl possessed, and she’s now gone without being guilty of anything.

“My beautiful niece, Trinity [Randolph] was murdered at her grandmother’s home, shot to death at only 3 years old,” Tyasia Lashay wrote on the GoFundMe page the family set up.

“A fun loving energetic soul whose life was snatched along with her fathers. This was very unexpected,” she added.

Tyronn Howlett, the girl’s grandpa and Waddles’ father, told WLKY News, “Children don’t have anything to do with it. They are innocent people, and they should never be in whatever an adult has going on between that.” Waddles was a musician who went by the name “DareallilB.”

The funeral of the father and the daughter will be paid for by rapper and businessman Master P. Speaking to Courier Journal he said, “This a 3-year-old innocent girl that’s gone from her family, from her future, somebody who could have come out of the community and be the next president, doctor, lawyer, teacher.”

The community is asking from the police to investigate the case and says how things are getting serious as this is the 16th fatal shooting in the area between August 1st and August 14th.

We are very sorry for the loss of two beautiful souls who left this world way too early. Our thoughts are with the family. Trinity and Brandon left behind their loving mother and wife and their 1-month-old baby brother and son.

Teen stabbed to death by intruder while trying to protect his 5-year-old sister – rest in peace

Not all heroes wear capes, and brave Khyler Edman is just the perfect example of that. This incredibly devoted young man lost his life while protecting that of his little sister after an intruder entered their home carrying a gun.

When the man pointed the weapon to Khyler and the 5-year-old girl, Khyler tried defending them with a knife but sustained multiple gunshots and died in front of his sister’s eyes.

GoFundMe

The intruder had broken into other people’s homes before he killed Khyler and the police was investigating the armed robberies when they accidentally found the lifeless body of the teen. The killer was later identified as 27-year-old Ryan Cole. He had his victim’s blood on his shirt when he got arrested.

Khyler’s mom was devastated when she learned her son died in such a senseless attack and wrote on Facebook, “A piece of my heart will forever be missing!!”

In the meantime, the family set up a GoFundMe page, hoping Khyler would get the burial he deserved. “My son had a long life ahead of him, that was taken too soon,” the mom said on the page. People from all over the country donated and over $87,000 was raised.

GoFundMe

A representative of the school Khyler attended, Charlotte County Public Schools, told CNN, “Khyler laid his life down to save his baby sister and showed his community how much of a hero he was.” The whole community paid tribute to the brave young man who stood for his sister and lost his life defending her. Over 100 people lit candles and sang “Amazing Grace” in Khyler’s honor.

The killing took place in September of 2019, and Cole was charged with First Degree Burglary with Battery, Burglary of a Dwelling, and First Degree Murder in December.

In January of 2020, State Attorney Amira Fox announced they would be asking for a death penalty for Cole who had been arrested over 20 times for drug abuse and burglary prior to the murder of the teen. This all led to a proposal called “Khyler’s Law” which asks repeat offenders to be given stronger sentences.

Our heart goes out to Khyler’s family. He died a hero, may he rests in peace.
