Dogs and humans go way back. These stunning creatures have proved to us over the years that they can be loyal like no one can.
Sheldon is a former American K9 explosives handler who had served in Afghanistan along with a German Shepherd named Django. The two weren’t just partners, but best friends too. So when they had to separate, Sheldon was left heart-broken and promised his furry companion that they would meet again. He even told the dog how the two would end up living together one day.
Sheldon went home to South Africa while Django stayed in Afghanistan.
Once home, Sheldon started thinking of ways to reunite with Django. Sadly, it was easier said than done. It turned out that taking Django from Afghanistan was a lengthy and tedious process. But that never made Sheldon quit trying.
After more than two years of being separated, Sheldon and Django were about to see each other again.

Once in Sheldon’s home country, the sweet dog had to spend some time in quarantine in Kempton Park as part of a protocol. When Sheldon went to see him, he wasn’t sure if Django would recognize him, but the moment the canine saw a familiar face, he was over the moon and couldn’t stop wagging his tail.
The reunion between these two pals is beyond touching.
“I told you I was coming to get you. I told you, my boy,” Sheldon could be heard saying as he can’t stop kissing and hugging Django.
Today, Django is living the best life possible.

A lot has been going on withing the British Royal Family over the years, but recently, all eyes are on Queen Elizabeth and her health. In the past period, she was seen using a cane to help her walk and it triggered a number of speculations about her condition.
The Queen was forced to cancel a number of meetings and trips due to “preliminary investigations.” It was reported that doctors advised her to rest for two weeks just before her trip to Northern Ireland. The Palace wrote that Her Majesty The Queen is in good spirits and that she sends warm wishes to the people of Northern Ireland and is looking forward to visiting in the future.
It was also reported that she would continue with “light, desk-based duties.”

On November 11, when the people of Britain commemorate those who lost their lives in the line of duty, The Remembrance Day, Queen Elizabeth missed the event and her absence was felt a great deal.
The public got worried of their Queen’s well-being, but seeing her attending her great-grandchildren’s christening on Sunday at a private ceremony held at the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor, brought a sense of relief.
Although the Queen seems to be going strong, people can’t help but wonder what would happen when she’s no longer around.
Being the eldest child of Queen Elizabeth and late Prince Philip, Prince Charles, as heir apparent, will become King of England.

Even though the time hasn’t come yet for him to ascend the throne, he wants to make one crucial change when it does.
The marriage of Prince Charles and his first wife, the beloved Princess of Whales, Diana, ended in divorce because he started a relationship with his current wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, while he was still married.
“There were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded,” Diana famously said in a 1995 interview.

When Charles and Camilla married in 2005, it was decided that once he becomes King of England, her title would be Princess Consort. That same information appeared on the family’s official website on October 17. “As was explained at the time of their wedding in April 2005, it is intended that The Duchess will be known as HRH The Princess Consort when The Prince of Wales Accedes to The Throne,” the site wrote.
Well, it looks like Prince Charles isn’t happy with this title and is doing all in his power to change that. Reports are he forces his wife to get the title Queen Camilla when the time comes, something neither of his sons are happy about.
According to Newsweek, historian Robert Lacey said, “Privately I discovered both brothers are absolutely sick to the back teeth of Charles trying to negotiate full Queen status for Camilla.” However, it isn’t just the brothers who despise this idea. The public has had their word in a poll done by YouGov back in May of this year.
According to the votes, only 13 percent of Britons believe Camilla should be called Queen, 41 agree she should get the title Princess Consort, while the rest, 28, believe she shouldn’t receive any title.

Hopefully, the Queen would live much longer and we will only discover Camilla’s title in a number of years.
Corinna Smith from Neston, Cheshire, had been married to her husband Michael Baines for 38 years. Later in life, she was told by her daughter that Michael abused her and her late brother when they were young. This caused her be chocked with pure rage. The first thing that came to her mind in those moments was to make him suffer too.
She boiled a kettle of water in which she poured three bags of sugar and then hurled the boiling water on her husband who was in the room asleep.
After hurting Michael, who was 80 years old at the time, Corinna ran to a neighbor’s place and told them what she did. “I’ve hurt him really bad, I think I’ve killed him,” she screamed, as reported by Liverpool Echo. The shocked neighbor called the police who arrived at the scene just to find Michael in unbearable pain.
“I’m badly burned. I’m burned all over,” he kept saying over and over again as the skin of his right hand and arm was peeling off. “She poured boiling water all over me,” he screamed. “I just want to die.”
Michael’s injuries were so severe that he was forced to spend five weeks in hospital before he passed away in August 2020.

Corinna was charged with murder. She explained that she didn’t act out of revenge, but she simply lost it and was extremely emotional at the time of the attack. “I accept that I poured boiling water over Michael with sugar in it. The whole thing is a bit of a blur. Minutes became seconds,” she added.
The detective handling the case, Chief Inspector Paul Hughes from Cheshire Constabulary’s Major Crime Directorate, appeared in court and said of Corinna, “Smith killed her husband Michael in such a painful and cruel way. To throw boiling water over someone when they are asleep is absolutely horrific. To also mix three bags of sugar with the water showed the determination she had to cause serious harm.
“The sugar placed into the water makes it viscous,” Hughes added. “It becomes thicker and stickier and sinks into the skin better. It left Michael in agony and rather than call the emergency services she wasted time by going to a house nine doors away to tell a neighbor, who she wasn’t close to, what she had done. Michael was an elderly man who fought for his life after the attack but sadly in the end he passed away.”

It wasn’t revealed whether the accusations against Michael were true or not, but the prosecutor said that at the time of the horrific attack, Corinna believed her husband was guilty and acted upon those beliefs.
Judge Amanda Yip told Corinna, “You were understandably very upset. You were described as being livid and fuming at the thought of what had been done to your children.”
In July, 2021, 58-year-old Corinna Smith was found guilty for the death of her husband Michael and was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 12 years.

If you ask them what they enjoy doing in their spare time, most youngsters will tell you how they love watching TV, playing computer games, or hanging out with friends. There are also those, however, who dedicate their free time to unusual hobbies for someone their age.
In an episode of Antiques Roadshow, a young boy who explained how he loved collecting and selling glass, sterling silver, and art, appeared with a painting which he bought at an auction for just 2 bucks. He wanted to meet the experts and learn whether the painting was worth any money.
Speaking to host David Weiss, the boy explained how he believed the painting was in watercolor but he couldn’t tell for sure because of the UV glass. Weiss confirmed the boy’s thoughts and went on to ask him whether he could tell how old the painting was.
It turned out that the beautiful piece of art was painted during the late 19th century by the Dutch artist Albert Neuhuys who had signed it in the lower right-hand corner.

The boy’s fascination grew bigger and bigger as he listened to Weiss reveal more and more interesting facts about the painting, but little did he know that he was about to hear even more stunning information about the treasure he found in South Jersey.
Hearing the worth, the boy was left in complete shock as Weiss concluded that he would make an awesome antique dealer in the future. The painting was estimated at around $1000 to $1500. Not bad for a piece bought for two bucks.
Kevin Harrison is a father of a 15-year-old boy with autism. This man knows how hard and demanding it can be to have a child with the condition, but he is doing all in his power to provide his son Daniel with a beautiful life.
Ever since he was very little, Daniel preferred being on his own. He doesn’t have friends because he has never wanted to play with other children, and if that is what makes him happy, his dad is fine with it.
Ahead of his birthday, Daniel wrote that he had two wishes. The first one was to learn how to drive, and the second one was to make friends. This came as a shock to Kevin, who was very glad his boy felt the need of a company from other children.

In order to make his wish come true, Kevin posted Daniel’s wishes on social media along with the caption, “Daniel’s my son. Profoundly Autistic. Hasn’t one friend. It’s his birthday today,” and asked from people to wish him a happy birthday. What he didn’t expected, however, was for his post to spread on the internet like a wildfire.
The number of people who came through and sent Daniel best wishes was huge. To Kevin’s surprise, the list of well-wishers included celebrities too. Among them were Russell Crowe, Sharon Stone and Ariel Winter. Parents of children with autism also contributed to the beautiful birthday wishes.
Needless to say, Daniel was over the moon.
This story shows how powerful the social media is and how accepting people can really be of those who are somehow different. This truly restores our faith in humanity and in the good in people.

For young children, and even teenagers, their room is their special place even when they need to share it with their siblings.
As they grow old, children get to love different things and their room changes according to their desires. At the beginning, it’s all about toys, but as time passes by, they turn to posters of their favorite celebrities, and then computers and other equipment.
A boy named Jack was about to get a new bed because he had already outgrown his crib. He was fascinated with trains and loved everything about these powerful machines. His room was already full with a number of train toys and Jack’s knowledge of trains was quite impressive.
One day, he told his dad about a dream he had where he was sleeping in a train shaped bed.
The dad then got an incredible idea, to make such bed for Jack and surprise him. All he needed was a hammer and a bunch of stuff from the hardware store, such as plywood.

When he purchased everything he needed, Jack’s dad started working on the bed. It took many hours and a lot of hard work, but the final result was a fascinating one.
Once the train-shaped bed was ready, the dad created an awesome sign which read: “Jack’s Steam Express!” Needless to say, Jack was over the moon with what his dad did for him.
There’s nothing a parent wouldn’t do for the happiness of their children, and Jack’s dad is just another proof of that.

This is the story of one very special man who knew how to keep the spirit of friendship in his neighborhood alive by being there for an elderly lady when she needed it the most.

One day, as he was working around his yard, Aldon noticed the elderly lady whom he would always greet. He could see the lady was highly disturbed because she was crying. Without even asking what is wrong, Aldon dropped everything and rushed out onto the street. He then gave her a long and genuine hug.
Aldon didn’t know much about the woman, he only knew she and her husband were living nearby, and the only interaction he ever had with her was the friendly waving whenever he would see them.
But that didn’t stop him from being there for her during one of the hardest days of her life.

Aldon took to Facebook to share the story that took place back in 2011.
“Since 2011 I’ve seen an older couple walking the neighborhood every morning and evening. Matching windbreaker outfits, large white new balance sneakers and a stick in hand.”
Aldon recalls how the couple always looked very happy. They loved his dog and would often send him kisses.
“Always saying what a beautiful day it was even if they were walking in the rain without an umbrella. We never exchanged names but I knew where they lived and they knew where the boys and I lived.”

But that day, when he saw the woman all alone and with tears in her eyes, he knew something was very wrong.
“I’m watering my freshly laid sod. Griswold, my standard poodle, is close by vigilantly protecting me from dragonflies and the occasional squirrel. A windbreaker suit swooshes slowly down the street below. Alone, the woman approaches. I wave, she waves. I exclaim in a joking manner, ‘where’s the better half?’”
“She looked up at me through her large blinder style sunglasses and with a trembling voice said ‘I don’t have him anymore.’ My heart sank.”
Then, Aldon knew he was the person to comfort his fragile neighbor who have lost he husband of so many years.
“‘Ma’am?’ I said as I approached her. She turned and with tears streaming from behind here large sunglasses, not another word was spoken, we hugged. Big hugged. Like she was my mom or my grandmother.”

The woman then leaned on Aldon’s chest and said:
“I’m just trying to do the things that we used to so I still feel like he’s around…. I needed that.”
We are so glad Aldon acted the way he did. He restored the faith in humanity for the elderly lady in need of comfort and compassion. If only more people are as loving and as caring as this man, this world would be a better place.

Sometimes, we make mistakes even without being aware of it. Sadly, parents Kristi Clark and her husband Christopher made a mistake which could cost them their baby daughter’s life. They now share their story in order to warn other parents not to do the same.
It was a nice day outside and the family decided to go and run some errands. They took their three-week-old daughter with them and spent some time driving around in the car. The little girl was in her car seat the entire time.
Whenever they would stop to make a purchase, they would take little Harper with them because they were perfectly aware leaving a child in the car during the hot summer could have fatal consequences. What these parents didn’t know, however, was that letting the baby stay in the car seat for long hours could be fatal, too.
Due to the rush hour, the trip home took longer than expected. The family was driving for about an hour and 45 minutes before they finally arrived home. While putting her older daughter to bed, Kristi left Harper in the car seat for around 15 more minutes. Finally, when she went to check on her and get her out of the seat, she noticed something that made her panic.
“When we got home it was way past Malena’s bedtime so we brought Harper in her car seat and she stayed in there for 15 minutes as we got Malena into bed. My husband got Harper out and put her on his knee but she looked like she couldn’t get comfy so he laid her down on her mat and she was kicking about.”
Harper’s lips turned blue and white foam started coming out of her nose and mouth. The baby was throwing her head back and it looked like she was having a seizure.
Kristi and her husband took the little girl to the emergency room where she spent the entire night. After the thorough check-up, doctors told the worried parents that Harper’s seizure was a result of Oxygen Deprivation which was caused by spending too much time in the car seat.
They were very sad that Harper’s seizure was caused by something that could have easily been avoided. If they were aware of the consequences of being in the car seat for such a long time, they would have never let that happen.
Thinking of the disturbing incident, Kristi realized that there are other parents out there who might be unaware of the dangers of spending time at the car seat for a prolonged amount of time. That is why she decided to share Harper’s story.

A friend in need is a friend indeed, and Texas State Trooper Juan Rojas Tovar, who was severely injured during a mass shooting, is lucky to have such friends as his colleagues who showed their support in a very thoughtful way.
Trooper Tovar was hailed a hero by his Texas community after he bravely tried to stop a shooter who had started a fire at his workplace in Bryan, Texas, killing a co-worker and injuring five others.
As he did all in his power to apprehend the suspect, Tovar’s cruiser was critically wounded and shot 13 times, with a bullet hitting Tovar at least once.
According to the Texas Police Department, Tovar was rushed to the hospital where he underwent a surgery. Luckily, his condition was stable but he still needed a further treatment and was later transferred to another hospital.
Though Trooper Tovar was unable to attend his son’s baseball game last night, DPS members stood on the sidelines for him.

As his family prayed for the best outcome, fellow troopers and members of the department decided to support their friend and co-worker by being there for his family. During Tovar’s son baseball game, they were there to cheer on him as his father was unable to attend the big game.
People at the field even spelled out “Pray for Tovar” using disposable plastic cups stuck in the chain-link fence at the field.
The sight was an incredible one because it showed the importance of the support the entire community showed for one of them during the hardest of times for the trooper’s family.

According to a Facebook post by the Texas Department of Public Safety, when Tovar arrived to Austin for further treatment, he was greeted by Class A-2021 Trooper Trainees who saluted him for his bravery and showed their support.
“Trooper Tovar continues his road to recovery, and we want to thank the community for their support,” the Department wrote.
The shooter who killed one and injured others, including Trooper Tovar, has been identified as 27-year-old Larry Winston Bollin. He has been arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder.
We wish Trooper Tovar a quick recovery and we thank everyone who was by his and his family’s side during their difficult times.

Lady Di was everything but an ordinary princess. This special woman who was dubbed the People’s Princess was a much-loved person, but above all, she was a loving and dedicated mother.
Many times, Princess Diana broke the royal rules all for the sake of her children’s happiness. Unlike any other member of the Palace, she often attended Prince William and Prince Harry’s school activities and took part in many of them.
Being a mother was something she loved more than anything else.
Sadly, her marriage to prince Charles was a turbulent one from day one. As she couldn’t put up with his infidelity and his feelings for his former lover Camilla, she decided to put a stop to her marriage.

Her life was always closely followed by the media, and sadly, that had a lot to do with the tragic car accident in which she lost her life in August of 1997. Allegedly, she was running away from the press when the tragedy happened.
From the moment she became a Princess, everyone wanted a piece of her life. According to The Guardian, magazines were offering up to half a million dollars for photos of her.
Her children were perfectly aware of the way their mother was treated by the media and how that affected her life and Harry promised himself he would never allow his wife to be ever treated the same way. According to him, he even considered leaving the Royal Family when he was in his 20’s.
“Look what it did to my mum, how am I ever going to settle down and have a wife and a family when I know that it’s going to happen again,” Harry said during an appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast. “I don’t want to be part of this,” he added.

William and Harry never miss a chance to remind everyone just how special their mother was.
“When everybody says ‘she was funny, give us an example’. All I can hear is her laugh,” Harry said in an interview he and William gave back in 2017.
“She was one of the naughtiest parents, she’d come and watch us play football and smuggle sweet into her socks, literally walking back from a football match and having five packages of [candy]. And just, the whole shirt was full with sweets.”
“We felt incredibly loved by her, and I’m very grateful that the love still feels there,” William added.” It feels like a good time to remember her and hopefully provide a different side.”

She did all in her power to provide a normal childhood to her sons. “William adores his little brother and spends the entire time swamping Harry with an endless supply of hugs and kisses, hardly letting the parents near!” Diana’s handwritten letter to a former steward at Buckingham Palace, Cyril Dickman, states, as reported by The Sun.
One time, she told the chef to cancel lunch for the boys because they wanted to go to McDonald’s with her. “And I said, ‘Oh my God – your Royal Highness, I can do that, I can do burgers.’ And she said, ‘No, it’s the toy they want,’” chef Darren McGrady told Marie Claire.

Today, when both William and Harry are parents themselves, they make sure their children know who their grandma was and how special she was to her family and her people. This way, they honor her legacy the best they can.
Last year, Hello Magazine! reported that William and Kate’s children all wrote Mother’s Day cards to Princess Diana for Mother’s Day. “Each year on Mother’s Day, George, Charlotte and Louis make cards remembering their Granny, Diana, for William,” William and Kate wrote on Twitter, alongside three adorable homemade cards created by the youngsters.
What caught many people’s attention is that the children call the late Princess “Granny Diana.” In one of the cards, they wrote to her that their papa is missing her.
This year Mother’s Day will be different once again.

Harry’s son, Archie, on the other hand calls his father’s mother “Grandma Diana.”
Harry once revealed that he keeps a photo of his mother in Archie’s nursery and that one of the first words Archie said was “grandma.”
Speaking to Today, Harry revealed that he often talks with Archie about Princess Diana.
“Yes, very much so. I don’t tell him all the stuff that’s happened, but certainly that this is Grandma Diana, and we’ve got a couple of photos up in the house,” Harry said, adding that he constantly feels her presence.
“It has been over the last two years more so than ever before,” he said. “It is almost as though she’s done her bit with my brother and now she’s very much like helping me. She got him set up and now she’s helping me set up. That’s what it feels like. He’s got his kids, I’ve got my kids.”
“She’s watching over us,” he added.

We all have to agree that mothers are our everyday heroes. There’s nothing they wouldn’t do for the happiness of their little ones. And although it feels like children grow up in a blink of an eye and want to be more and more independent as time goes by, little babies still need around the clock love and care from their mothers.
This is all great and I am sure every mother out there would love to spend her days with her children more than anything, but most of them have jobs they have to return to after giving birth.
Melody Jett Blackwell is one lucky mother who happens to be working in a very friendly and baby-welcoming environment. Her boss doesn’t mind if she brings her baby daughter at the office.
It was one of those days when lovely Nora-Jo kept her mommy company while she was doing her job. The two were enjoying a sweet mother-daughter moment together which was the reason why Melody’s boss decided to make a public comment about bringing babies to work.

This sight was way too precious not to be shared with the world. Melody made motherhood look like a piece of cake, or at least her boss thought so. The pictures of the two bonding while working was uploaded on the Maryland Farms Chiropractic Facebook page and neither Melody nor her boss could imagine it would gather that much attention.
“Workin’ mamas. She makes it look easy. It helps that Baby Nora-Jo is so sweet and content just being with and near her mama. Would y’all mind sharing this? Melody is still allowed to work from home and only visits her workplace when it’s really crowded at the office and her colleagues need an extra pair of hands. She works at a chiropractic office in Brentwood, Tennessee and her employee lets her take as many breaks as she needs to breastfeed her baby.

With all those people sharing and reacting to the photo, Melody and her boss realized it could inspire other companies and business to follow their example.
Melody told Love What Matters:
“I know not every office and work environment is conducive for children and babies, but I think more places can be more flexible than they are currently.”
This flexibility may result in reducing the daycare costs and increasing mother’s productivity.
“I think many families find it almost makes more financial sense for one parent to stay home, rather than go to work just to have most or all of their checks pay for day care.”
Not every single mother can choose to be a stay-at-home-mother as she might be the only money maker in the family.

Melody wishes that the photo of her taking care for her baby while doing her regular job motivates other owners to see the bigger picture.
“Depending on the work place, moms can bring their children to work and be productive. I hope that more moms in the future will get the opportunity that I have-to get to spend every day with my baby but also contribute to the family income.”
Bringing baby Nora-Jo to work doesn’t affect Melody’s efficiency. She is capable of doing both ‘jobs’ at the same time. But as she says, this is all thanks to the friendly and supportive working environment.

Selling millions of copies and having huge hits such as California Dreamin’, Monday Monday, Snowqueen of Texas and Dream A Little Dream of Me, the group changed the world of music forever and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
One of the singers, Cass Elliot, or better known as Mama Cass, somehow stood out of the rest of the members.
Her voice was dubbed angelic and she possessed out-of-this-world singing skills. Sadly, she passed away very young, at the age of 32, and according to initial reports the reason was that she chocked on a sandwich.

Mama Cass was born Ellen Cohen on September 11, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland and at the age of 4 she could speak four languages. She was always very special. Bright and quite intelligent, and always a big girl. According to the book Dream a Little Dream of Me: The Life of ‘Mama’ Cass Elliot, she herself was confirmed saying, “I’ve always been different. I’ve been fat since I was seven. Being fat sets you apart, but luckily I was bright with it; I had an IQ of 165. I got into the habit of being independent and the habit became a design for living.”
At the age of 17, Mama Cass moved to New York and changed her name to Cass Elliot.
She dreamed of pursuing a career in the entertainment industry and toured with the musical TheMusicMan for a short period of time.
In 1962, she auditioned for the Broadway production I Can Get it for You Wholesale, but she didn’t get the role. Instead, then young Barbara Streisand did. Mama Cass then moved to Washington to study at the American University.

Once in Washington, Mama Cass became part of her first band, the trio called The Triumvirate, together with Tim Rose and John Brown. The band played popular and country music before they they turned to the folk which was gaining its popularity at the time. In 1963, James Hendricks replaced John Brown and the band changed its name to The Big Three. Soon after, Mama Cass and John became a couple and tied the knot but divorced in 1968.
It was in 1965 that the iconic group with even more iconic songs that topped the charts was born, The Mamas & the Papas.
Their first ever single, which remains a huge hit even today, California Dreamin’ was released and fans went crazy over the music piece which was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2001.
The group shared the story behind the song with Michelle Phillips recalling, “We were staying at the Albert Hotel, near Washington Square. It was a fleabag. I had never seen snow before, I had never been to the East Coast. I was miserable.” The couple went for a walk and entered the St. Patrick’s Cathedral. That night, John woke Michelle up in the middle of the night and had the guitar in his hand. Seconds later, he spoke the lyrics:
All the leaves are brown And the sky is gray I’ve been for a walk On a winter’s day I’d be safe and warm If I was in L.A. California Dreamin’ On such a winter’s day…
“I added the next few lines about the church. He hated it. Just hated it. But he didn’t have anything better. That portion of the song — ‘Stopped in to church / I passed along the way / Well, I got down on my knees / And I began to pray’ — has an interesting history. Not everyone hears the same lyrics, and that includes the people who sang it.”

Michelle also spoke of her relationship with Mama Cass and said how she was a huge part of her life and was her very best friend.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, she said, “She would always encourage me to go for the note [when we sang]: ‘Go for it! You can do it! I know you’re gonna make it! I’ll be there for you!’ She was also very protective of me and assertive for me where John was concerned.”
“She said, ‘Don’t let him boss you around like that! You are Michelle! You cannot be afraid of him!’ I felt very insecure because I met and married him when I was in high school. [But John] could be belittling. Cass helped me with my self-esteem, forcefully.”
In 1967, Mama Cass gave birth to daughter Owen Vanessa Elliot and left the group a year later. Although she never spoke of her girl’s father, it was later revealed that it was guitarist Charles Wayne Day.
Speaking of her decision to start a solo career, Mama Cass told Rolling Stone in 1968, “Well, having the baby changed my life a lot. I don’t want to go on the road, you see. It’s actually a matter of economics, much like the Vietnamese war, I guess. I didn’t want to go on the road and I wanted to stay home with my baby.

As a solo artist, Mama Cass released five albums and had performances in Las Vegas and starred on several shows including The Andy Williams Show and The Johnny Cash Show. One of her most memorable songs as a solo singer was the cover of Make Your Own Kind of Music, which reached No. 36. Mama Cass’ last album was titled Don’t Call Me Mama Any More, and it looked like she was trying to get a new name for herself.
“I never created the Big Mama image,” she said. “The public does it for you.”
Mama Cass passed away in 1974. It was initially believed the cause of death was choking, but the truth is the musician died of a heart attack.
One of her closest friends, Sue Cameron, spoke this year to People Magazine of the night preceding Mama Cass’ death when she played two shows at The Palladium in London, UK. “After she had played two nights there, she called crying with joy telling me that she had got a standing ovation both nights and she had sold out both nights, she was just as happy as I’d ever seen her or heard her,” Cameron recalled.

Cameron was a columnist for The Hollywood Reporter when she got a call from Mama Cass’ manager Allan Carr. “[He] picked up the phone and he was hysterical. Allan said, ‘You’ve got to tell them that she died choking on a ham sandwich. You must go to your typewriter and write that. There’s a half of a ham sandwich on her nightstand.’ I didn’t ask any questions,” said Cameron.
In 1998, legendary Mama Cass was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

She was a woman who was never afraid to pursue her dreams. Her weight never stood on her way to happiness and success and that turned her into a role model for many young girls who struggled with their weight.
Owen, who is now married and has two children, said of her mother, “She was a one-woman triumph against adversity; she was ahead of her time; women now are finally doing what she did 50 years ago. I look back on her and realize that, just by example, she taught me, and others, not to accept it when someone says you can’t do something.”
While most adults enjoy spending time in the comfort of their home, children love being outside most of the time. At the end of the day, they need to run and play because that’s what children do.
Sadly, there are people out there who hate it when kids are outside because they claim they are noisy and annoying.
One mother shared a video of how one of the neighbors made her daughter cry after she washed away the chalk drawings the girl did on the street. As the little one was playing, the woman took the hose and sprayed the drawings away.
The girl started crying, but the woman didn’t care.
“This neighbor stood on her balcony and stared us down, then came out with her f—ing hose to hose down our chalk drawings. She didn’t tell us it was against condo rules nothing!!!” the mother of the little girl wrote in a post that was later shared on Imgur.
As it turned out, this wasn’t the first time for the woman to do such a thing even though the girl and the rest of the children are all well-behaved and don’t disturb the neighbors.
The mother added that some of the neighbors tried to confront the woman whom they named ‘Sidewalk Susan’ but she didn’t answer the door.
The mother was thankful that the rest of the neighbors stood by her side. “Thank you guys for your kind words and support,” she wrote and added that the mean woman targets her daughter for no apparent reason.
“This lady has some issues with us. Yesterday the neighbor kid was out there drawing with chalk and she stayed inside. She messed with the wrong family,” the mother went on to say. “…Today she yelled at my daughter to shut up while she was playing outside.”
Many took their time to comment the woman’s outrageous behavior, with one person writing, “This is unacceptable. This woman needs to be evicted. What is the landlord doing about this?” Another person added: “Take your daughter out with pots and pans tomorrow.”
The girl’s mom wrote that the mean neighbor continued messing up with her daughter and she had had it enough. “I try really hard to keep a cool head ESPECIALLY with my child around. But today this salty, condo board b*tch left notices on people’s door banning the kids from using the empty fucking parket lot, THEN I see her recording/taking pictures of me when I went to offer the neighbors some food bars and water because they’re locked out. I try to compose myself when my kid is around.”
One time, when her daughter wasn’t with her, the mother met Sidewalk Susan and couldn’t help it but confront her. “I CUSSED her b!^@# a$$ out as she ran back inside her apartment. I’m DONE WITH THIS LADY.”

The video of Sidewalk Susan hosing the drawings was later shared on Reddit. “I see a lot of shitty chalk pictures on the pavement in my street, but they make me smile regardless. Some kid spent ages drawing them, then proudly showing them off to their parents. It’s not permanent, it’ll disappear in the rain,” one user wrote. “What kind of black, hateful heart do you have to have to go out and hose them off, let alone to do it while the kid is still there?!”
“…How miserable do you have to be to be genuinely offended or bothered by chalk art. this little girl doesn’t get to hang out with her friends at school or go play on a playground,” a user which goes by the name scarlittytitty wrote. “She’s confused and sad and doesn’t fully comprehend what is going on in the world. she needs a break! All these people saying she’s vandalizing are the same folks who say kids spend too much time inside looking at screens. again, it’s chalk for f— sake. it washes off…”

Jordan’s story spread around like a wildfire after he made a heartbreaking plea to have a mom and a dad. His life wasn’t an easy one, he and his younger brother Braison, who got adopted last year, spent many years under the care of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and in group homes.
“I hope one of y’all pick me,” he told KFOR. “I would just like to have a family to call mom and dad, or just mom, or just dad, I don’t really care.”

She seems to have inherited the best from her famous parents and looks gorgeous. However, something about her caused a stir among fans; the way she dressed. She even asked from her parents and siblings to call her John instead of her real name.

Jolie said it was a bit hard for her not to call her Shiloh any longer as that name was of great significance to her, but she respected the girl’s will.
“It was a name my parents almost named their first child — there was a miscarriage: Shiloh Baptist. Because my father had been shooting in Georgia and that was the most southern name [my parents] could come up with,” Jolie said of the name she originally gave her daughter.
After the couple split, they have arranged custody rules which seem to be working well so all the kids get to spend time with their mom and their dad. Both Pitt and Jolie are devoted parents who would always go an extra mile for their kids’ well being.
”Brad is so proud of Shiloh and who she has become. He loves that she always stays true to herself and is so good to her brothers and sisters,” source told ET, adding the two are very close.
Jolie, who is considered a feminist that girls look up to, spoke of the importance of women on the International Women’s Day, saying: “I have spent the last two months in and out of surgeries with my eldest daughter [Zahara], and days ago watched her younger sister [Shiloh] go under the knife for hip surgery. So my wish on this day is that we value girls. Care for them. And know that the stronger they grow, the healthier they will be and the more they will give back to their family and community.”
Back in 2021, Shiloh left the world in awe after she appeared alongside her famous mother for the premiere of Marvel’s “Eternals” wearing her mom’s Dior gown that Angelina wore at a press conference for a Maleficent: Mistress of Evil event in 2019. Shiloh grew her hair, which was in a bun, and looked amazingly beautiful.

Birthday parties are special occasions that celebrate life. These days are especially important for young children and teenagers who are looking forward to having the time of their life with all their friends by their side. Parents on the other hand would do anything for this memorable day that marks the end of the 365 day journey filled with amazing moments, and the start of another one, to be flawless.
One mother from Pennsylvania decided to throw a party for her daughter’s sixth birthday at Applebee’s and as the night was coming to an end, the waitress approached and announced something that left Jolie Welling in complete awe.

Six-year-old Sofia was eager for the day of her birthday to arrive because that meant a huge party, lots of smiley faces dancing to their favorite music, fancy food, and lots of cupcakes. Sounds pretty much like a perfect day in a kid’s life. But this sweet festivity had a different ending than that of most other kids’.
“We had drinks, appetizers, full-course meals,” Jolie recalled of the celebratory event. “We brought our own dessert — we had cupcakes — but that’s pretty expensive right there,”
said the mother, referring to the bill. But the night was rounded off by the sudden announcement that surprised the family.

“(The waitress) came over and announced to the table that an anonymous person paid our whole tab, and we were like, ‘What? Who?’ She was like, ‘I can’t tell you, they want to be anonymous,’ and I was like, ‘Oh my goodness,’” Jolie said. “The next thing, when we finally realized it, we started tearing up.”
Never in their wildest dreams did they think a complete stranger would give them such a generous present. It’s a day this family will never forget. Jollie said, “Life is so complicated as it is, and you just work and work and work and struggle, and you try to enjoy every moment you can, and having my 6-year-old see that someone did this act of kindness really shows her that there are good people in this world.”
We will add that because of people like this kind-hearted stranger, the world becomes a better place. Sharing is caring, and as long as we do good for others we’ll be able to experience true happiness.

Being a parent is one of the most demanding jobs. Most moms and dads don’t have it easy, especially when their children are still very young.
One mom, Lucy Hatami, shares a story that is very touching. One day, she decided to have breakfast outside together with her 8-month-old baby. However, the little one started crying all of a sudden and she couldn’t calm him down. Some of the people sitting on the tables next to her started starring at her when a young man said, “I wish she’d shut that thing up!”

Lucy felt bad and just as she prepared to answer back, the young man’s father stood up for her and did something incredible. He gave his son a clip around the ear and said, “What, and you think you were perfect? You were a right little sod. Now stop being a brat, go up there and apologize to her and offer to get her breakfast as she clearly has her hands full.”
This restored Lucy’s faith in humanity. She was glad the father tried to teach his son a lesson on what was right.

Multiple people were hit in the shooting at Geneva Presbyterian Church in the Laguna Woods area of Orange County with one losing his life trying to protect those of others.
The man killed during the tragic incident is well-respected doctor John Cheng who was a valuable member of the community, a husband, and a father of two.

Five other people were wounded, and the number could be much bigger had it not been for Dr. Cheng who bravely charged at the gunman, allowing others to seek cover.
“Without the actions of Cheng, there is not doubt there would be numerous additional victims,” the Sheriff’s department told the media. A number of people who witnessed the tragic shooting gave testament to the brave actions of Dr. Cheng.
“This was a politically motivated hate incident, a grievance that this individual had between himself and the Taiwanese community,” Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes shared with the media.
The shooter was later identified as David Chou, who was arrested and charged for the murder of Dr. Cheng and attempted murder of five other people who were seriously injured.
FBI representative Kristi Johnson believes that the shooting was motivated by “some type of hate,” and authorities say the shooting was pre planned as Chou nail shut the doors of the church trying to prevent the people to escape.
District Attorney Todd Spitzer said of Cheng’s actions, “He sacrificed himself so others could live.”
We are so very sorry for the loss of such a brave and respected man as Dr. John Cheng. Our thoughts and prayers go to the grieving family.
“Dr. Cheng is an inspiring hero at such time and the ultimate example of courage, sacrifice for others and love to his fellow human beings,” one person writes, and we agree that this man showed the courage not many would. Sadly, it cost him his life.

This woman’s life story is so incredible it resembles a movie plot.
Rosalinda was a young woman in her twenties who lived a quiet life and was married. Little did she know, however, that her days would change forever after one of the neighbors came knocking on her door asking for a favor. The woman asked Rosalinda is she could look after her son for an hour or two while she went shopping. Rosalinda agreed.
As hours passed by, she realized her neighbor wasn’t coming back. All of a sudden, Rosalinda was left with a young child to care for.

As she and her husband were told that she couldn’t have children, she saw this as a blessing in disguise.
“That little boy stayed with me through my marriage that I’ve spoken about before until he was 18 when he found his dad and left to start a new life.”
Although the boy she raised as her own son left her home, Rosalinda knew she could become a foster parent and help other children. Over the years, she fostered many kids who found themselves in the system, and that led to her adopting her daughter Lola.

Rosalinda shared her story on TikTok where she has a lot of followers, around 85K. Lola appears in some of her mom’s videos too.
“I decided to become a foster parent. My first foster child was a little boy called Adeola. Over the years I’ve fostered many children and that led up to me getting my daughter,” she shared in a video. “She [Lola] came to me in mid May 1990, such a beautiful little baby, such beautiful eyes and she’s been with me ever since.”
Many of her followers praise Rosalinda for her dedication to all the foster children who were part of her life. “Wow, you had a very long and a very good life as it sounds,” one person wrote.
Today, Rosalinda is 70. Although she never had children on her own, she helped change the lives of many for the better.
She truly is a very special person with a heart of gold.

Is there anything cuter than young kids being told they are taking a trip to an amusement park? Their hearts start bouncing the moment they hear the magical word “Disneyland.” Wow, all those captivating stories of Snow White and the dwarfs, Aladdin and his magic lamp, brave Moana, or the Beauty and the Beast unfolding in front of the sparkling eyes of the tiny humans is a sight to remember.
However, for one family, the trip to the “Happiest Place on Earth” turned out to be even more special than expected, and the reason aren’t all the fun things they got to do, but something quite different and unanticipated.

The boy was looking forward to the trip to the magical world of Walt Disney, not only because of his most beloved characters, but for the thrilling and exciting rides too. This place has been making children’s wishes come true since 1955, when the park was first built.
But, no matter how excited he was, he was still feeling a bit blue because one of his most important persons wasn’t there to share all the fun with. The boy’s father was in the Navy and five months out of his hometown and away from the family.

The family made sure they take lots of pictures from the boy so that he remembers this very special day forever. There was magic all around him, but the real surprise was yet to be revealed.
As he was standing still and posing, a man approached the boy from behind. He was wearing a Navy uniform and squatted behind him. At that moment, the kid turned around and said “Daddy!”

The next thing we know is that the two embraced each other firmly and had huge grins on their faces. This was a very exceptional father-son moment that melted the hearts of the onlookers, who greeted them with loud applause.
The dad said “I’m home” and they hugged and kissed each other again. Being separated for so long was difficult for both the father and his family, and now that they were together again they could have the most memorable days of their life in the world of enchantment.
It’s a beautiful homecoming surprise that requires a tissue or two.

If having a sibling makes you rich, just imagine having a twin.
The bond between twins is created before they are born. Unlike other babies, they have a friend and a companion even in the womb and that makes their relationship kind of special.
Getting used to the presence of their twin sibling in their life, most twins can’t imagine spending time separated.
Just look at these two lovely newborn babies. They got to hang out while they were still developing and once out and having a plenty of space, they still choose to be close to one another and cuddle as they did even before being welcomed into this world.
It’s obvious they love being next to each other and enjoy every second as they are calm and have cute smiles on their faces.
They only open their tiny eyes for a second when their mommy gets closer with the camera.
Seeing them enjoy while cuddle is a real pleasure that fills our heart with joy. We are so happy the proud parents decided to share the video with the world.
People went crazy over the video the moment Uniland posted it on their Facebook page. It was seen more than 22 million times, and many people couldn’t help by share it and comment on it.
However, as it turned out, the video was an old one and the twins are now toddlers. Learning of this, people were curious to see how they look like now and whether they love each other as much as the day one.
The twin girls’ names are Sofia and Sara and they are as cute and as adorable as when they were tiny babies.
Their parents post photos and videos of them on the Instagram account Tobon_twins.
Lovely Sofia and Sara love posing and traveling. They have visited many places in Europe so far and have lots of fun with their parents. The family lives in Florida, U.S.
Looking at the beautiful family, I wish I had twins too. That way, I would know my children will have a friend for life.
Not only they all look very nice, but the little girls wearing same outfits and a bunch of fancy accessories make people turn their heads around and go ‘aww.’
The parents, Juan Carlos and Juliana Tobon have successful careers as real-estate professionals and spend a lot of time working, but they always find the time to be around their girls who make them the happiest parents on Earth.
Finding the balance between the career and the family life is something many people struggle to achieve, but it looks like these dedicated parents know just the way on how to do it.

During the collision, an 18-month-old toddler was ejected from one of the cars which was left hanging over the guardrail and fell into the Assawoman Bay. Luckily, an angel in the form of an onlooker who found themselves at the scene came to the rescue. The good Samaritan jumped 25 feet off bridge and into the bay and saved the little one’s life, WJZ reports.
According to Rob Korb, who works at the fire department, the rescuer initiated CPR on the toddler before both of them were taken to land by a nearby boater. The child was transported by Maryland State Police Aviation Command to John’s Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore. The rest of the people who were involved in the crash were as well hospitalized.
The heroic person was Jonathan Bauer who got to tell the story of the rescue himself. As it turned out, he and his daughter were both at the scene when they heard tires screech. “Then [he saw] the truck swaying back and forth like someone was losing control and trying to overcompensate,” he said during a press conference.

When Bauer managed to release himself from his car which got stuck among the rest of the cars, a person pointed towards the water. “He just pointed down at the water and when I looked over I saw the car seat and then about six feet away from the car seat was a little girl,” Bauer said.
“She was on her back, completely floating, head completely out of the water, arms moving, legs kicking, and a little pink dress.”
When Bauer’s daughter saw him jumping, she described it as “the scariest moment of her life.”

Luckily, everything turned for the best at the end. Bauer managed to safe the girl and both of them were later taken to a shore by a boat.
“Jonathan’s truly a humble hero and that’s what makes this even more special than it already was,” Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan said, as per Ocean City Today.
“This is a day of thank-yous. This was a really tragic accident … the ending of the story is everyone is okay, and they’re okay because of everyone in this room.”
