The prom is an important milestone in high-school students’ life. It represents the end of a chapter, and the start of a new one. It is also the night when teenagers get the chance to shine through their carefully chosen outfit and make up thus have the night of their life surrounded by peers with whom they spent years filled with memories worth cherishing.
Sadly, not everyone is eager to attend this special night.
Shannon Purcifer, a 16-year-old teenager from Britain, was happy about the prom night. She bought a stunning dress that she couldn’t wait to wear, but then, her desire was crushed into a million pieces.
Namely, this beautiful girl has been battling several diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis and ulcers, which causes her troubles walking at times. Because of this, she has been a victim of bullying by her classmates. They ridicule her because of her heath and make fun of her condition. The mean words and the pressure she faced made her decide not to attend the prom night.
In order to raise awareness of the negative consequences of bullying, Shannon’s mother took to Facebook to share her daughter’s heartbreak.
“Shannon would have had a gorgeous outfit if she had attended the prom tonight. But, “thanks” to her awful classmates, she didn’t want to go, mix with the mess that made her so unhappy. For a young child who had to struggle through so much… She is one of the strongest young women I know, and her mind is even stronger. I love you, darling!”
Once the story went viral, people from all over the country reached Shannon’s mom and offered to help her organize a private prom with many guests for her daughter, and that’s exactly what this mother did.
They invited some of Shannon’s friends and she could finally put on the dress she bought.
What’s most, this girl was accompanied to her prom by 120 motorcyclists who showed up to support her and help raise awareness against bullying.
Shannon had the time of her life because she was surrounded by people who love her and care for her.
Let this story serve as a reminder to always react when you notice someone is being bullied.

Ryder Wells from North Carolina is a nearly seven year old boy who had to overcome a lot during his short life and is still fighting. When the boy was only 21 months old, he and his family were visiting friends for Thanksgiving when Ryder was brutally attacked by two 100-pound Rottweilers.
The terrific incident resulted in sweet Ryder losing half of his face. He also had his teeth crushed and suffered from a broken arm and punctured lung. Doctors’ prognosis weren’t bright, but the little fighter survived. Over the course of 5 years, Ryder had to undergo around 50 surgeries to reconstruct his face.
Until he gets mature, he will need to have more surgeries, including nose and teeth reconstruction.
Ryder’s family is proud of their hero son, but they are at the same time concerned for him because he now attends kindergarten and is always starred at, not only by his little friends, but adults too. And although he’s still very young, he is aware of everything. Speaking to The Mirror, his mother Brittany said how “He wears glasses and a cap and sometimes he’ll hang his head to hide his face. But I just tell him every day that he’s beautiful, different is beautiful and it’s ok to be different.”
Recently, the family was at the park when a child pointed at Ryder and started yelling, ‘monster’, before he ran away. This didn’t happen for the first time. “Out shopping the other day someone shouted ‘ew’ at him. It’s hard and it breaks my heart as a parent that after everything he’s been through, people aren’t always nice over something he can’t help.”
Brittany is afraid that things could get even worse once Ryder starts going to school because no matter now innocent children are, they are not really considerate.
She fears her sweet boy may easily become a victim of bullying and is doing all in her power to raise awareness about the effects of bullying on someone like her son. She wants everyone to think twice about how they treat people who are different and hopes her son will be accepted by the society. “I just reassure him as much as I can but I’m absolutely terrified about when he goes to school. There are always going to be a couple of kids who aren’t kind,” she adds.
We should all teach our children to embrace differences and always treat everyone with respect because that would help children like sweet Ryder have a better life.

With the sudden passing of Queen Elizabeth II, changes in the British Royal family took place. Prince Charles now became King Charles III and William and Kate received the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales.
The newly appointed King gave emotional speech to the nation and spoke dearly of his late mother and everything she had done for the country and its people during her 70 years of reign.
“Her dedication and devotion as Sovereign never waivered, through times of change and progress, through times of joy and celebration, and through times of sadness and loss,” King Charles said, adding a few heartfelt words for his wife of 17 years, Camilla, who becomes Queen Consort.
“I know she will bring to the demands of her new role the steadfast devotion to duty on which I have come to rely so much.”
Charles added that despite the sorrow around the nation and Commonwealth, people would always “remember and draw strength from the light of her example.”

Other members of the royalty also expressed their sadness over the Queen’s passing. Prince Harry was among them. On his Archwell website, Harry wrote, “Granny, while this final parting brings us great sadness, I am forever grateful for all of our first meetings – from my earliest childhood memories with you, to meeting you for the first time as my Commander-in-Chief, to the first moment you met my darling wife and hugged your beloved great-grandchildren.”
He then added, “I cherish these times shared with you, and the many other special moments in between. You are already sorely missed, not just by us, but by the world over.
“And as it comes to first meetings, we now honour my father in his new role as King Charles III.”
Queen Elizabeth witnessed history being made over the years and she certainly was part of history herself. Her reign saw 15 different Prime Ministers, from Winston Churchill to the newly appointed Liz Truss. It was Truss with whom the late Queen had her last duty as a royal when she welcomed her to her summer home, Balmoral Castle, located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, shortly before her passing.
Truss, as well as senior MPs, swore a new oath of allegiance to King Charles.

As King Charles takes over the throne, photos of his fingers raise concerns regarding his health.
Namely, the King’s fingers look swollen, but it turns out he was born that way.
During a visit to Australia in 2012, King Charles allegedly joked about his fingers, referring to them as to his ‘sausage fingers.’
After William was born, Charles sent a letter to a friend informing him that he became a father. In the letter, he wrote, “I can’t tell you how excited and proud I am. He really does look surprisingly appetizing and has sausage fingers just like mine,” as per Howard Hodgson biography Charles, The Man Who Will Be King.

The Queen herself was aware Charles’ fingers were ‘different’ from the moment he was born.
“The baby is very sweet and we are enormously proud of him. He has an interesting pair of hands for a baby,” a letter from Queen Elizabeth read.
“They are rather large, but with fine long fingers quite unlike mine and certainly unlike his father’s. It will be interesting to see what they become. I still find it hard to believe I have a baby of my own!”

However, now that he became King, doctors raised concerns regarding his health. Dr. Gareth Nye, Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester, spoke to the Daily Star and explained that King Charles’ swollen fingers might be a result of oedema or fluid retention.
“Oedema is a condition where the body starts to retain fluids in the limbs, normally the legs and ankles but also in the fingers, which causes them to swell,” Nye said. “Oedema is a common condition and mostly affects people over the age of 65 as the ability for fluid control is restricted.”
He added, “To see if this is the cause, pressing the swollen area for about 15 seconds would cause a depression in the area.”
The state of his fingers could also be a sign of arthritis.
“There certainly aren’t any immediate health concerns to be concluded from swollen fingers and is most likely a sign of his age;” Dr. Gareth Nye concluded.

King Charles’ private life was a turbulent one. His marriage to Princess Diana ended in divorce after he got involved in an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles. The late Princess learned of her husband’s cheating, and she even confronted Camilla once. Lady Di died in a tragic car accident five years after the divorce.

He was the King of Pop and she was the daughter of the King of Rock and Roll. What a couple one would say, and they wouldn’t be far from the truth about Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley.
When the two tied the knot, it felt like bringing two music dynasties together.
However, their marriage was short-lived and only lasted for two years, period during which Jackson faced accusations of child molesting. It was widely reported that Jackson was dependant of his wife amid the personal struggles he was going through, and she was huge support.
Back in the day, she was reported saying, “I believed he didn’t do anything wrong, and that he was wrongly accused and, yes, I started falling for him. I wanted to save him. I felt that I could do it.”
Later, she tried to persuade him to settle the allegations out of court and go into rehabilitation to recover. The King of Pop subsequently did both.
Having had two children from her previous marriage to Chicago-born musician Danny Keough, daughter Riley Keough, an actress and model, and son Benjamin Storm Keough, Presley didn’t want any more children, so she and Jackson didn’t have any.
The two alienated because of her decision not to make him a father.
Still, Jackson became a father. Two of his children, Michael Joseph “Prince” Jackson, Jr. and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson were brought into the world by the singer’s second wife and friend of many years Debbie Rowe. In fact, rumors were that he married her so that she could help him become a father, something the pop icon wanted badly.
Debbie was still more of a friend than a wife. In fact, she was more like a surrogate than a mother and wasn’t attached to the children.
“My kids don’t call me Mom because I don’t want them to. They’re Michael’s children. It’s not that they are not my children, but I had them because I wanted him to be a father. People make remarks, ‘I can’t believe she left her children.’ Left them? I left my children? I did not leave my children. My children are with their father, where they are supposed to be. I didn’t do it to be a mother… If he called me tonight and said let’s have five more [children], I’d do it in a heartbeat,” she said during an interview with English journalist Martin Bashir.
In 1999, Michael and Debbie divorced, and he got full custody of the children.
The star’s third child, Prince Michael Jackson II, or better known as Blanket, was born in 2002, but information regarding who his mother is has never been revealed.

When Kevin Howard, a man from North Carolina, tied the knot with his wife some 12 years ago, he was certain it would be forever.
However, things started going south between them and they both agreed to attend couple’s therapy and smooth things down. Although they both seemed interested in fixing their relationship, Kevin knew his wife was hiding something from him.
So, he decided to hire a private detective and make sure she wasn’t lying to him. Sadly, he learned that she was having an affair with a co-worker whom Kevin believed was her friend.
Saddened by the discovery, he decided to call his marriage quits and filed for divorce, which was a painful one.
Convinced that the other man was the one who interfered in his marriage and broke it, Kevin decided to sue him for that.
Believe it or not, prosecutors found the lover guilty of destroying Kevin’s marriage and he was ordered to pay Kevin $750,000.
“I believe in the sanctity of marriage,” Kevin told CNN. “Other families should see what the consequences are not only of breaking the vow of any religion you believe in, but also of your legal responsibilities.”
Surprisingly, in a few states, including North Carolina, there is a “housekeeper” law, the one Kevin’s wife’s lover was found guilty on the grounds of.

Magalli Jimenez became a mother of a beautiful daughter named Ava Skye. The girl brought happiness into her mommy’s life and was a vibrant and a happy child. Unfortunately, that all changed when sweet Ava turned 13 months old.
All of a sudden, the girl started experiencing pain. She cried and it was obvious something was very wrong. When Magalli took her to the doctor’s, she received the news no parents should ever hear. Ava had muscle cancer.
This crushed Magalli’s world, but she knew there was a long way of fighting the disease and she knew she needed to be strong for her child.
Ava undergone chemo treatments, and her mommy could only pray for those treatments to work and help her girl get better and end up a winner.
Eventually, Ava went into remission and her family was over the moon, but sadly, their happiness was short-lived.

In July 2022, doctors informed Ava’s family that her cancer relapsed, and it was resistant to treatment. They hoped they would be able to remove it surgically, but this sweet girl’s body was already too fragile and there was not much hope that she would be able to recover.
The family was praying for a miracle, but they were also preparing for the worse.
Magalli was unable to come to terms with the fact that she only had days left with her daughter.
Ava was taken to a hospice care in hopes to make her final days as comfortable as possible. From time to time, the crushed mother went to the bathroom to cry, but she always made sure she acted happy around her daughter.
“We will just let her live her life and enjoy her and do all the things that we’ve ever wanted to do with her. We’ve made a bucket list for her,” Magalli said.

Friends of the family set up a GoFundMe page to help with the medical expenses and fulfil all the things on Ava’s bucket list, but sadly, on August 22, 2022, sweet Ava took her last breath.
A day before her passing, Ava, who was fragile and exhausted from all the treatments and hospital visits, gathered strength to sing her mommy a song. She chose her favorite nursery song. “I love you. You love me. We are a happy family. With a great big hug and a kiss kiss. [sic] Won’t you say you love me too?” Ava sang.
Luckily, Magalli was able to put that special moment on tape so that she could cherish it forever.
The video of sweet Ava singing to the one person she loved the most shows how caring and brave she was.
“My heart will forever be broken, it will never be the same, but I promised her that I would live for her. Hug your kiddos a little harder today, even when they drive you insane,” the heart-broken mother wrote.

The news of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II took the world by storm. Britan mourns the loss of their longest reigning monarch and the person who offered stability in times of strife. She served her people, many of whom have known no other sovereign, until the very last day of her life.
The Queen’s last duty as a royal was meeting newly appointed Prime Minister Liz Tuss at Balmoral when she asked her to form a new government following Boris Johnson’s resignation.
And now, as new era dawns in Britain, its people are getting ready for a final farewell to Her Majesty the Queen.
King Charles III will officially be proclaimed Britain’s monarch on Saturday, two days after Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
The queen’s funeral is expected to take place 10 days after her death and be a public holiday. Follow updates. https://t.co/Sz76gIwErt
The exact day of the funeral hasn’t been confirmed yet, but preparations are underway. According to reports and the royal protocol, the Queen’s coffin would be expected to leave Balmoral and be taken by road to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. There will be proclamations in the devolved nations at Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast while tributes in parliament continue. A ceremonial procession from Holyrood along the Royal Mile to St Giles’ Cathedral for a service attended by members of the royal family is expected to be held and St Giles’ Cathedral will open to the public for 24 hours for a period of lying at rest. After that, the coffin is expected to be flown to London.
The state funeral will be held at Westminster Abbey and eventually, the Queen will be interred at the King George VI Memorial Chapel in Windsor Castle. The body of her late husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, is expected to be relocated and the pair reunited to lie together.

Queen Elizabeth II had always been the pillar of her people. Most Britons recognized her as their only monarch as her reigning extended 70 years during which she helped shape the history of the country, all the way to World War II.
Her Majesty the Queen “died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon,” the Palace announced. “The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”
Britan was somehow aware that this moment was nearing as the Queen’s health was reported to be frail during the last period. She missed some events that had been already arranged and took a little break from royal duties when advised by her doctors to take rest.

On the day of her passing, media reported that Her Majesty was under medical supervision at Balmoral, Scotland, the castle she spent most of her summers at. As the news of her declining health spread, crowds started gathering in Scotland and her closest family was asked to be there.
Prince Charles, who will be crowned King of England, was in the country already, as well as his wife, Camilla, the Queen Consort, and Princess Anne.
The rest of the family, Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edwards, and his wife Sophie all arrived earlier in the morning of her health taking a turn for the worse. It is not revealed, however, whether any of them were present with the Queen at the time of her death.

Prince Harry was reported to have arrived in Scotland shortly after the news of the Queen’s death was made public. He was spotted making his way to Balmoral in a black SUV, covering half his face with his hand, understandably not wanting to be photographed.
He traveled all by himself, without Meghan accompanying him, although she has already been in England at the time as she and Harry were expected to attend the WellChild Awards in London.
Reports are that the family wanted Harry to see his grandmother following the news of doctors’ concerns for her health.
“It’s understood that the family wanted Prince Harry to be there, even though he was unable to get to Balmoral in time to see his grandmother,” royal expert Katie Nicholl told ET.
“But Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, was not, we understand, invited to join the family,” Nicholl added. “She has said she will go to Balmoral another time. But I think it is quite significant that Prince Harry traveled to Balmoral on his own without his wife.”

King Charles spoke of the great loss of Queen Elizabeth as his mother and a ruler of the country.
“The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family,” the new king said.
“We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world,” the statement continued. “During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held,” it continued, as reported by The New York Post.
Queen Elizabeth’s passing represents the end of an era. May she rest in peace.

Every parent out there has one wish, and that’s their children to be healthy. Sadly, not every family is granted this desire.
When Crysie and Ryan Grelecki from Marietta, Georgia, learned they were expecting a baby, they were over the moon. During the first ultrasound, everything seemed fine with their baby, but as Crysie entered her 20th week of pregnancy, one of the nurses noticed something odd about the baby. The ultrasound showed that the little one’s head was quite bigger than expected so she called experts to determine if there was something wrong with this family’s unborn baby.
Unfortunately, baby Parker was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, an abnormal buildup of fluid in the ventricles (cavities) deep within the brain, while still in his mommy’s womb.
Cryise and Ryan were uncertain about their son’s future. One thing they were certain about, however, was that they would never give up on him.
“Throughout my pregnancy when I would let my thoughts spiral downward with thoughts of “what if” and just plan fear, God would remind me of a song. The lyrics that would play over and over in my head and fill me with His peace went like this – “God will make a way, when there seems to be no way, He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me … He will be my guide, hold me closely by His side, with love and strength for each new day God will make a way,” Crysie shared on Facebook.
Parker was delivered through C-section at 39 weeks. When he turned 2 days old, he had undergone his first ever surgery, and more followed, but he ended up winner after each and any of them.
Doctors helped release the pressure in his brain by draining the fluid. This allowed his brain to develop naturally.
“I was by his side the whole time—talking to him, praying over him, holding his hand, rubbing his head. That unconditional love just rushes over you, and here is this helpless baby that’s been entrusted to me and I can’t do anything for him,” dad Ryan said.
Doctors performed craniofacial surgeries to correct his skull malformation, but they knew they were facing a huge challenge.
“Our goal was to go in and re-expand the skull, open the skull up and separate those bones that had grown together. And, that was basically what we did— getting the space for his brain to grow and grow normally,” Joseph Williams, M.D., Chief of Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery at the hospital said.
When he turned four weeks old, Parker started physical therapy and by the age of 20 months, he had already undergone seven surgeries.
Luckily, he reached many of the milestones and even started walking, skipping the crawling phase, which made his parents extremely happy.
Crysie and Ryan are forever grateful to the hospital and the doctors who helped save their son. This isn’t the first time very successful recovery stories to come out of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta all thanks to the experts working there and the hospital’s world-famous rehabilitation program.

Prior to her passing, media reported that the Queen was under medical supervision as her health was fragile.
BBC One suspended its regular program amid the concerns over Queen Elizabeth’s well-being.
Prime Minister Liz Tuss issued a statement saying that she received the news of the Queen’s passing around 4.30 p.m. local time.
“We’re all devastated by the news that we have just heard from Balmoral. The death of Her Majesty the Queen is a huge shock to the nation and to the world. Queen Elizabeth II was the rock on which modern Britain was built,” Truss said.

“Our country has grown and flourished under her reign. Britain is the great country it is today because of her,” she added.
“We are now a modern, thriving, dynamic nation. Through thick and thin, Queen Elizabeth II provided us with the stability and strength that we needed.”
Tuss then spoke of the new monarch of the country, King Charles, and said, “We offer him our loyalty and devotion, just as his mother devoted so much, to so many, for so long. And with the passing of the second Elizabethan age, we usher in a new era in the magnificent history of our great country, exactly as Her Majesty would have wished, by saying the words ‘God save the King.’”

Queen Elizabeth was crowned on 2 June 1953 and her days on the throne of the country have been defined by an unwavering consistency and devotion to duty. She provided stability and security to her people and not only witnessed history being made over the course of her reign and life but was pretty much part of it.
Her passing left a hollow that is hard to be filled. Her heir, King Charles, certainly has big shoes to fill.
World leaders, as well as celebrities, offered their condolences, among them was President Joe Biden, who said that Her Majesty stood with the US in solidarity during their “darkest days after 9/11.
Frend President Emmanuel Macron spoke of her as a “friend of France,” and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau described her as one of his favorite people in the world who was a constant in Canadian lives.

The Queen’s funeral is expected to take place in the days that follow.
Prior to her Platinum Jubilee, Queen Elizabeth addressed Camilla’s role in the monarchy. It was expected that the Duchess of Cromwell become Princess Consort once Charles takes the throne, but the Queen changed that recently and Camilla is now Queen Consort. According to the media, it was one of Queen Elizabeth sincere wishes.
“And when, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me, and it is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service,” Queen Elizabeth said.

Celebrity marriages never seem to last. Of course, there are a few exceptions, but the truth is that most of these unions are short-lived.
Whether it is the pressure that comes from being in the spotlight most of the time, or the infinite temptations that await around the corner, celeb marriages are more likely to fail than those of ordinary people like you and I. According to Marriage Foundation, celebrity couples divorce at nearly twice the rate of the general population. And if one believes that these people have it easy when it comes to moving on because of all the money and influence they possess, the reality is that going through breakup under the watchful eye of the wide public makes things even harder.
Actress Jennifer Garner had her big breakthrough with the movie Alias, which helped her make a name for herself and become America’s sweetheart adored by millions.
So, it didn’t really come as a surprise that when she and actor Ben Affleck tied the knot, all eyes were on them and the media couldn’t get enough of their private life.
However, when they welcomed their three children into their lives, things turned, according to Garner, a ‘circus.’
In an interview with PBS’s Kelly Corrigan, she opened up about the life under constant watch by the paparazzi. She couldn’t even attend a soccer match and be a normal parent because of the media pressure. “Anywhere that we went, it was a total circus. My one daughter tried to play soccer, and it was such a zoo for the families that they just said, ‘can you please not.’”
Even when she took her sick children to the doctor’s, the paparazzi were there waiting for her eager to snap as much photos as possible and come up with a juicy story. “For 10 years there were at the very least six cars, and often 20, outside of our house, and outside of school and at the pediatrician’s, and you’re begging them, ‘Please step aside from the pediatrician’s door. I have a sick kid, please.”
Eventually, Garner and Halle Berry worked hard and helped pass a law that protects the children of celebrities from the paparazzi. Garner acknowledged that Barry deserves more credit for their achievement.
The law helped protect her children, but not her marriage to Ben Affleck. Is the media partially responsible for her failed marriage? Jennifer Garner believes the answer might be yes.

Grace Hyde, an 8-year-old girl from Lincolnshire, was over the moon when she won a doll at a fair in Skegness. Having been enchanted with dolls and spending a lot of time playing with them, she couldn’t wait to hold her new toy in her hands. Before reaching to Grace, the doll was placed at the tombola booth at the fair.
Once she got the doll in her hands, Grace screamed and told her sister that she pricked her finger on a filthy syringe that was hidden beneath the figurine’s layers of petticoat.
When the sister informed their mother of what had happened, the woman was left in complete shock. 41-year-old Katie feared that her daughter could have contracted a virus or another disease. The needle was placed there on purpose, but no one could have guessed who could do such a thing.
“I am appalled that my daughter was poked by a filthy needle,” Katie said.
“A needle, which could have easily been used to inject drugs.
“I believed the needle may have been a diabetic one, but the police stated it was improbable because it had a plunger and the majority of diabetics use pens that already had the prescribed amount of insulin in them.
“As a parent, you want to keep your kids safe, so it’s horrifying to think that playing with a doll they won at a tombola may endanger their life.
“When I first saw the needle, I was astounded and couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”
The girl was tested for HIV and additional viruses, but they have to wait three months for the results. She was immediately immunized against hepatitis B and tetanus. Katie, however, explained that before they receive the all-clear, they would need to wait around a year, which is a huge amount of time spent in uncertainty.
When Katie returned to the fair and told the organizers about the horrific incident, they were puzzled. The person in charge of the lottery said that he purchased the dolls at a car boot sale.
“I believe that these vendors really need to exercise caution in what they sell. If they purchase items from car boot sales, anything could be inside,” the worried mother said.
“I shudder to consider what might have transpired between the injury and Grace’s telling me.
“There’s no doubt that it changed us all. Now that I’m much more aware of these things, I check all the kids’ toys before they play with them.”
Now, Grace doesn’t like dolls like she used to. In fact, she’s scared to play with them any longer.
Kris Bell, the event’s co-organizer and head of the Skegness Carnival Committee said: “It was horrible.
“It must have been a terrible moment; I can’t even begin to picture the suffering the family must be going through.
“Even though we are merely volunteers, we take what we do extremely seriously, and this is not the time for impulsive decisions.
“From a personal standpoint, I’d advise any organizations dealing with used items to start being more careful with how they treat the goods.”
We hope Grace would be just fine and the needle was just a prank and won’t infect her with anything.
Katie is sharing this story in order to raise awareness and remind parents to be extra cautious in order to avoid incidents like this one.

Little children can be demanding, but they bring so much happiness. They can easily make you laugh with their innocence and how they see the world with their tiny eyes.
Some are misbehaving, and others tend to listen to what they are told. But one thing is certain, young children are quick-thinking and fun to be around.
A four-year-old boy named Johhny had a hard time finishing his math homework. All those numbers were just too much for him to handle, so he decided to ask for help.
Thinking of who might come in handy and help him with his problem, he remembered that it is the police that help those in trouble, so, without thinking twice, Johnny called 911.

When the person on the other end of the phone realized what was going on, and that Johnny wasn’t really in trouble, they didn’t get mad at all. At the end of the day, Johnny was way too young to know what sort of problems the officers solve. What’s most, the kind dispatcher even walked Johnny through some of his homework.
As he was on the phone, his mom walked into the room and saw him talking to someone. When she asked who’s on the phone, Johnny casually told her it was the police and explained that he called them because it was her who told him “If I need help to call somebody.”
It is obvious that his mom wasn’t very happy with what he did, and she can be heard in the background exclaiming, “I didn’t mean the police,” and that’s when the conversation ends so we can never know what happened next. Chances are Johhny was scolded off for calling the police when there was no real emergency around, or his mom found the entire thing fun and laughed.

When baby Aira was born, her parents knew she was somewhat special. With her blonde hair and big blue eyes, Aira looked stunningly beautiful and many agreed that she resembled a doll.
Although she was still just a baby, her parents decided she should be part of commercials, so they took her to a number of modelling agencies, many of which were interested to work with her.
Almost overnight, photos of Aira flooded social media and people were convinced she wasn’t real but a photoshopped photo of a cute-looking toddler. But Aira was real, and she was dubbed one of the most beautiful girls in the world.
Sadly, her engagements with modelling robbed her of her childhood and everything kids her age did. She didn’t attend kindergarten and was in front of a camera most of the time.
However, as she reached five years of age, modelling agencies were no longer interested in her as she started resembling any child out there. She wasn’t invited to photoshoots and fashion shows.
These days, Aira is nine years old, and she still gets modelling gigs, but it is very rare.
She is active on social media, but there are no photos of her from her early days when she was dubbed doll-girl.

The day two people say ‘I do’ is the day they commit to one another and dream of a future together.
The wedding ceremony of a Portuguese couple, Jefferson and Jennifer, was a truly unique one. As the couple was about to say their vows, Jefferson interrupted the ceremony. The guests kept wondering what was going on, and Jennifer got confused as well. Would this be one of those wedding when one person decides they don’t want to proceed with the ceremony. Would she be left at the alter?
No, it wasn’t why Jefferson asked for a little break. As he asked from the priest to stop for a while, he had something else on mind.
As everyone was early waiting for his next move, Jefferson turned to his future wife’s daughter, Giovanna, a beautiful 8-year-old girl, and told her he loved her as if she was his own daughter.
“I extend to you my affection. I won’t fail you; I’ll look out for you, keep you safe, and never let you down,” he told Giovanna, who was carefully listening to the words her new dad uttered.
She was so touched that she took the microphone and thanked Jefferson for the love he held for her and her mommy.
Those witnessing the heart-warming moment couldn’t stop tears of joy running down their faces.

Megan Hulen and her husband Joshua were happy to have two boys. However, deep down, they always wanted a daughter, too. So, when their younger boy turned two, they decided to have yet another baby, hoping it would be a girl. They would have been equally excited with a third boy, of course, but having a girl was their big wish.
Eventually, Megan fell pregnant. However, when she had an ultrasound, doctors shared some news that left the entire family overwhelmed. There were five babies inside Meghan’s belly, she was carrying quintuplets.
What made everyone shocked is that she conceived naturally, not through a medically enhanced procedure.
“Went to our first ultrasound at six weeks and found out that there were five,” Megan said.
“Pretty shocking. Exciting and terrifying all at once, I’d say,” dad Joshua said.
So, did this family have their wish of having a daughter come true? Yes, and not once, but four times. Meghan and Joshua welcomed four beautiful girls, Chloe, Emma, Allison, and Madison, and baby boy Adam.
Being born at 32 weeks, a pregnancy like Meghan’s happens once in 43 million times.
At the same time, these proud mom and dad were the first couple to have quintuplets in the state of North Dakota!
“It’s miraculous but overwhelming all at the same time,” Joshua said.
During the pregnancy, Meghan and Joshua weren’t certain if all of their babies would survive as it is not unusual in multiple pregnancies for some of the babies to die inside the womb.
“They’re not viable, or one or two vanish, or those types of things happen,” Megan said. “And so we thought, ‘OK, there’s not going to be five. There’s going to be two, three, or something. We went back after a week, and there were five heartbeats.”
Although raising 7 children under one roof is a demanding task, these parents love it.
“We’re super excited and happy to have a big family. It’s bigger than what we anticipated, but we’re blessed, and we’re happy about it,” Joshua said.
“And at some point in the future, when we get to sleep again, we’ll be thankful for that too,” he added.
We wish this beautiful family only the best life brings.

Charming Pierce Brosnan, best known for portraying agent 007, has had quite a career in the film industry. Landing the ultimate macho role of James Bond marked his professional life, but at the time he was about to take off with his first box office hit, Brosnan suffered a personal tragedy that changed his life forever. His wife and great love of his life, actress Cassandra Harris, lost her life to ovarian cancer.
Brosnan and Harris met back in 1977 while she was still married to husband Dermot Harris, with whom she had two children, Chris and Charlotte.
Brosnan was said to have been smitten by Harris’ charm and beauty. She was five years his senior, but he fell for her instantly and the two married five years later. After the passing of Harris’ first husband, Brosnan officially adopted her two children. The couple went on to have a child on their own, son Sean.
“We just clicked as a family,” the actor once revealed. “To begin with I was Pierce, then I was Daddy Pierce, and then I just became Dad. Charlotte and Chris have just been amazing in my life.”
When Sean was welcomed into the world, the family seemed complete. But then, in 1987, Harris received the news of the devastating diagnosis. She battled cancer for four years before passing away.
Brosnan recalled that the night he lost his wife was the longest of his life.
“I was in a helpless state of…confusion and anger. She was comforting me,” he told People as he opened up of the tragic loss he suffered.
“She has made me the man I am, the actor I am, the father I am.
“She’s forever embedded in every fibre of my being. She’s there with me every day. I was so blessed to have met someone like that.”
Years after Harris left this world, Brosnan suffered yet another heartbreak when his adopted daughter Charlotte was diagnosed with the same form of cancer as her mother. She too passed away, leaving behind her two children and a husband. This loss brought back many bitter memories for Brosnan who was grief-stricken.
“Charlotte fought her cancer with grace and humanity, courage and dignity. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beautiful dear girl. We pray for her and that the cure for this wretched disease will be close at hand soon,” the actor said in a statement.
Today, Brosnan is married to wife Keely Smith with whom he has two children.
“I don’t look at the cup as half full, believe me. The dark, melancholy Irish dog sits beside me from time to time,” he told Esquire.
“To watch someone you love have his or her life eaten away bit by bit by this insidious disease, that kind of sorrow becomes an indelible part of your psyche.”
Brosnan says it was Smith who helped him move on with “a strength I wouldn’t be able to live without.”
“I have experienced both being a widower and finding love again. Therefore, I am aware that there is hope and that you must learn to move on,” Brosnan previously told the
We are so very sorry Pierce Brosnan was forced to endure the loss of people he loved unconditionally.

Sitcom Dear John was a huge thing when it first aired back in 1988 and during the years that followed. The series followed the life of John, a divorcee who lost his house to his ex-wife and ended up into an apartment in the Rego Park neighborhood of Queens where he joined the One-To-One Club, a group of people who are divorced and single.
Actor Jere Burns played the role of Kirk Morris, a cocky, self-styled ladies’ man who would have probably been dubbed ‘creep’ if the series was filmed nowadays.
Dear John was Burns’ big breakthrough, and his career only went upwards throughout the years.
The truth is that Burns into sports during hight school and while at university but acting ‘interfered’ with his plans of becoming an athlete after he joined the drama program at the private high school in Cambridge he attended.
Getty Images
He was into acting and relocated to Manhattan to attend NYU Tisch School of the Arts – but the aspiring actor left after a year and a half. At the time, he was 25 and his girlfriend, whom he later married, was pregnant.
Then, just as he was about to give up acting for good, a friend of his offered him a place at the New York Shakespeare Festival. There, Burns got the chance to closely follow the work of two aspiring actors who later made it big in the film industry, John Malkovich and Gary Sinise.
Finally, in 1988, Burns was casted for the role of sleazy Kirk Morris. The show was a huge success and Burns became a household name.
Speaking of his celeb status, Burns said in 1990, “People say, ‘Is it a pain in the neck that people recognize you in the streets?’ No, it’s flattering. It’s gratifying. That’s not why I do what I do, but it’s a nice byproduct. Trying to affect people, trying to make a difference in some way – touch people. It seems a little cliched to say that when you’re in a half-hour sitcom and playing a guy like I play, but that’s the way I view it.”
What followed were some more successful projects, such as his role in the hit series Breaking Bad, where he portrayed the group leader for a Narcotics Anonymous meeting as a part of a twelve-step program, which main character Jesse Pinkman attended.
“Breaking Bad was so well written that you said exactly what was on the page. There was no room for any kind of improvisation or even fussing with the words. That’s not the way they, I think they were open to it, but there was no need for me to change a thing. I read exactly what was on the page every time I worked,” he told Yahoo.
Most recently, the Massachusetts-born actor appeared in Justified and Angie Tribeca and had a guest-starring role in an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles.
Burns was married three times and has four children.
However, besides his successful career in the industry of film, Burns’ name has been found in magazines for another reason. Apparently, people are convinced he went under the knife and had a number of procedures. In fact, they claim he went too far.
During his lengthy interview with Kevin Pollack, Jere was asked if he had worked with country singer Kenny Rogers. “I’m gonna say it was before the eye job?” Pollak asked. Burns then decided to make a joke about himself and said, “Listen, I think it looks natural. Are you kidding, what?” before he started playing around with his face.
Burns tends to keep his life private and.
We love all the roles this actor treated us with over the years, and we believe he looks awesome at 67.

Michael Strahan, who had an impressive career as the defensive end for the New York Giants, turned to television upon retiring from playing football.
The Houston Texas native has become a media personality, appearing as a football analyst on Fox NFL Sunday before co-hosting the syndicated morning talk show Live! with Kelly and Michael. Currently, he’s the host of Good Morning America, and turns out that his departure from Kelly Ripa was a messy one.
When he decided to leave Live! with Kelly and Michael, Ripa was so shocked that she took a week-long break from the show to collect herself.
“I needed a couple of days to gather my thoughts; after 26 years with this company, I earned the right,” Ripa told her audience. “(This) started a much greater conversation about communication, and consideration, and most importantly respect in the workplace … apologies have been made.”
Together with Ripa, Strahan won a Daytime Emmy twice for “Outstanding Talk Show Host” during his tenure on the show and their ratings were just going higher and higher.
Now, six years after he left the show, Strahan revealed all about his relationship with Ripa, admitting they don’t really talk to each other any longer. According to him, their relationship never recovered after he left the show. “I learned through all that went down with that, you can’t convince people to like you,” he said in his interview for Time. “I haven’t spoken to her in a long time.”
In the past, Strahan dropped hints that things between him and Ripa weren’t smooth behind the stage while they worked together.
“I remained the same person I was from Day 1. One thing I will not do is alter my attitude for somebody else’s. I learned so much from Kelly, so much from (executive producer) Michael Gelman. When it was time to go, it was time to go. Certain things that were going on behind the scenes just caught up,” he revealed in an interview with Deadline in the past.

Actress, former model, and climate activist Jane Fonda revealed she has been diagnosed with cancer. The 84-year-old Oscar winner took to Instagram to share with her fans that she had started chemo treatments six months ago and is dealing well.
“So, my dear friends, I have something personal I want to share. I’ve been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and have started chemo treatments,” the Grace and Frankie star wrote in her Instagram post. “This is a very treatable cancer,” she added, “so I feel very lucky.”
She further acknowledged her ‘lucky’ position because as she said, she realizes she’s privileged when it comes to having access to the best doctors and treatments. “I have health insurance and access to the best doctors and treatments. I realize, and it’s painful, that I am privileged in this,” she wrote.
“Almost every family in America has had to deal with cancer at one time or another and far too many don’t have access to the quality health care I am receiving and this is not right,” the actress added.
“Cancer is a teacher and I’m paying attention to the lessons it holds for me,” she wrote. “One thing it’s shown me already is the importance of community. Of growing and deepening one’s community so that we are not alone. And the cancer, along with my age – almost 85 – definitely teaches the importance of adapting to new realities.”
As explained by the Mayo Clinic, “Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a type of cancer that begins in your lymphatic system, which is part of the body’s germ-fighting immune system. In non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, white blood cells called lymphocytes grow abnormally and can form growths (tumors) throughout the body.”
Fellow celebs and friends of Fonda took to social media to share their love and support.
Debra Messing commented: “Sending you healing light, love and strength.”
Alyssa Milano wrote, “Wishing you more strength than you need and more love than you can bear. Call me if you need anything. Always here. Always.”
Diane Keaton shared her love and admiration, writing, “We love you, Jane. You are my hero. You are a warrior. All of my life I have been in awe of all that you do. I will continue to admire the crusader you have always been and always will be.”
This isn’t the first time Fonda to be battling cancer. Back in 2010, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and in 2018, she had a growth removed from her lips.
We wish Jane Fonda end up a winner and beat cancer again.

When two people are in love and decide to tie the knot, they believe it’s forever. But life is full of surprises and sometimes things happen, and we are not powerful to change the fact that after some time married couples are fed up with everything going on between them and decide to put an end of the marriage.
And when there is a divorce involved in the life of two people, it usually affects both in a negative way. Most divorces are followed by arguing, fighting over the custody, and even paying lots of money to lawyers.
However, it’s not unusual for two divorced people to remain friends after they split. This happens when both the exes are reasonable people who put their children’s needs before their own. This is the case with Codie McPhate’s parents. Even 28 years after their separation, Codie’s father still mows his ex-wife’s lawn. And that is really something special.
Codie believes what her father is showing that no matter what happened between the two, he still cares for the mother of his daughter.
‘“My mom has bad knees, and my step dad works out of town. When my younger siblings questioned, ‘Why is your dad mowing moms lawn?’ I told them, ‘Because, she needed help, and he knew she couldn’t get out here to do it, so he did,’”
The girl says that besides their decision not to be together any longer, her parents have always vowed to “choose to be adults and treat each other with respect and compassion.”
Codie’s parents remarried, but that didn’t prevent them staying in touch. The daughter is getting along with her stepparents and says it’s amazing how the four of them respect each other and co-parent perfectly.
‘“This is how lucky I am to have 4 parents who respect each other, and know that at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is showing your children (Even ones that are 32 years old) how to treat people, and how to love your family, no matter how it came together,”
Codie LaChelle McPhate via Facebook
We live in a world where many consider being divorced as the greatest sin, not understanding that sometimes that’s the best-case scenario. There are couples like the McPhate’s who prove these people wrong and are a perfect example of how things can work out when you are reasonable and understanding.
As they say, good divorce is better than bad marriage, and when a relationship between two people is broken, choosing a different path is the most reasonable decision. Codie’s parents teach us that when this happens, children should be taught that it’s not always a bad thing.
Regarding her father’s act of kindness, the girl posted “He wants everyone to know ‘I’m no saint.’ He just wants to show others that you don’t need to act like an angelic pastor on lent, but that we should all choose kindness whenever we can.”
