When they exhibit a close bond, people are said to be joined at the hip. The same is true for two beautiful sisters, Isabelle and Abby Carlsen, who were welcomed into the world back in 2006. These twins, however, shared a lot more than their parents. They were conjoined at birth from their chest down to their stomach.
Their mom and dad wished their girls to be separated, but doctors told them such a surgery was a very risky one. Despite that, doctors in Minnesota decided to perform the complex procedure and separate the two sisters. Luckily, it was a huge success and Isabelle and Abby made headlines around the world.
The organs in their abdominal cavity were mixed together, and Isabelle’s heart was tangled up inside Abby’s chest. The doctors were aware that the quality of these girls’ lives was in their hands and they did all in their power to provide them with a bright future. They trained for months for the marathon surgery. There was a cardiac team, a liver team, a plastic surgery team, you name it.
The sisters live in North Dakota and don’t remember being conjoined as the separation surgery took place when they were just six months old. Today, they definitely share an infectious spunk, but that’s where the similarities end. When it comes to their character, Isabelle and Abby are complete opposites. They don’t like the same things, nor they dress the same.
“Every night we look in the mirror in our room, and we’re like, how do people get us mixed up?” Abby says. These two are without a doubt totally unique individuals.
They were once considered miracle babies, and today, they are all grown up and live completely normal lives. For more on their incredible story go to the video below.

LINCOLN, CA - September 06: Bill Cosby performs in support of his Far From Finished tour at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California on September 06, 2014
Back in 2014, a group of women came forward with allegations of sexual assault against actor Bill Cosby. Since then, the number of women who have claimed to be his victims rose to around 60. Cosby became one of the first celebrities to face legal consequences as a result of the #MeToo movement, which encouraged women to come forward with their stories of sexual assault, abuse, and rape.
Over the course of the recent years, Cosby’s legal team denied all the accusations against him.
In 2021, the sexual assault conviction he had for drugging and assaulting Andrea Constand was overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Following his release from prison, his attorney Brian Perry issued a statement which read, “We’ve said from day one, we just didn’t think he was treated fairly. And that…the system has to be fair, and fortunately, the Supreme Court agreed with us. He’s happy, his wife is happy. The system only works if it’s fair to all sides. That’s the bottom line.”

These days, however, another woman opened up about being sexually assaulted by Cosby back in 1969.
80-year-old former Playboy model and singer Victoria Valentino claims that she and a friend of hers were drugged by Cosby before he assaulted them. These accusations come shortly after California law suspended the statute of limitations on sexual abuse claims, known as the “look back law.”
According to Valentino, she met Cosby when he saw her crying at a cafe and approached her to ask her what was wrong. She told him that she had recently lost her 6-year-old son to drowning. He then invited her and a friend of hers to a spa treatment and dinner. During dinner, he handed her a pill, claiming it would help her and her friend feel better.

The next thing she remembers is waking up on the couch of his home and seeing him assaulting her friend, after which he assaulted her but she was unable to defend herself because she was drugged.
Cosby’s spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt denied the claims completely via a statement which read that the allegations came “without any proof or facts.” He additionally lamented at the new law and said they “are a sheer violation of all American’s [sic] Constitutional Rights.”
The statement further read, “What graveyard can Mr. Cosby visit, in order to dig up potential witnesses to testify on his behalf? America is continuing to see that this a formula to make sure that no more Black Men in America accumulate the American Dream that was secured by Mr. Cosby.”

These allegations come a year after Cosby was accused of sexual assault by Judy Huth who experienced the abuse as a 16-year-old girl at the Playboy mansion in 1975. After a few days of deliberation by the jury, the brought a verdict in favor of Huth who was then paid $500,000.

A man of many talents and an incredible singer with iconic hits such as For the Good Times and Why Me Lord, it’s easy to say that Kris Kristofferson is one of the best in the world of music.
With a career spanning over five decades, this Texas-born Casanova influenced the music industry and gathered an army of fans from every corner of the Earth.
Not only that, but he also became a trendsetter, although it once happened by chance. As the singer shared himself, he was at the hospital back in the day where he had been treated for pneumonia so he didn’t have the chance to have his beard cut. “And when I came out, some magazine took a picture of me and called it ‘the new face of country music’. Ever since then Willie, too, has just looked as wild as heck,” he shared.

Kristofferson graduated from Oxford in 1960 and then served in the military before landing a job at Louisiana’s Petroleum Helicopters International, where he worked as a commercial pilot. When he was off work, he would sit on an oil platform, penning future hits, like Help Me Make it Through the Night and Bobby McGee.
His singing career started after he met Johnny Cash while working as a janitor at a recording studio and wanted to get noticed. Speaking of this encounter, Cash said in an old interview. “I discovered him, and so did a lot of other people about the same time.
“That’s how I got many of Kris’s songs, but then he became so impatient one day he landed a helicopter in my yard and brought me a tape of “Sunday Morning Coming Down.” I thought, well, it’s time to really give this guy a listen, so I heard that song, and I did it on a network television show and talked about Kris, and he was on his way, then he went to Newport Folk Festival and stole my show, and he did great. I was proud of him.”

Bob Dylan, Kristofferson’s idol, also recorded at the studio Kristofferson cleaned. Speaking of meeting him, Kristofferson recalled, “It was a real eye-opener to see the way he worked. I was pretty much in awe of him at the time. But I never talked to him or anything. I didn’t want to bother him. I just emptied the trash cans and watched him.”
Even today, Kristofferson performs many of Dylan’s songs while on stage.
Kristofferson has been married three times and has eight children.

During the late 90s, the singer’s health started to decline and he had heart bypass surgery. Then, in 2004, he experienced a range of debilitating symptoms and was soon diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and fibromyalgia.
The spasms he experienced were so severe that his nerve endings triggered painful contractions comparable to golf ball-sized knots. He tried many medications and therapies, but nothing seemed to work.
“He had painful knees and annual knee shots, a pacemaker for arrhythmias–which we now know could be from Lyme–so much Advil for headaches that he got anemic,” said Lisa Meyers, his wife of 40 years.
“After a year of iron supplements and seeing a hematologist, he just wasn’t healthy-looking.”

Finally, in 2016, he received the right diagnosis. He had Lyme disease. “He was taking all these medications for things he doesn’t have, and they all have side effects,” Meyers said of the medication for Alzheimer’s and depression. She added that after three weeks of Lyme-disease treatment, Kristofferson rebounded. “All of a sudden he was back. Some days he’s perfectly normal and it’s easy to forget that he is even battling anything,” she said.
Today, Kris Kristofferson, who is 86, lives a pain free life, and he lives it to the fullest.

Giselle Bundchen and Tom Brady attend the 2017 Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, NY on May 1st, 2017
They are both superstars in their own right, and they both have millions of fans and followers on the social media. Together, they were considered one of he most powerful and most influential celebrity couples and that is why their decision to split shocked many.
What Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen had resembled the perfect life, but after two children and 13 years of marriage they decided to call it quits.
Now, they both opened up how the split affected their lives and how they manage to co-parent their children, 13-year-old Benjamin and 10-year-old Vivian.
Shutterstock
“I think for me, when you decide to have children, that’s a big undertaking, and I don’t think you take it lightly. And I think these kids that come up under your roof, you want to provide them with values, so that when they move forward in their life, they have a real solid base and foundation,” the athlete said. “And I think myself and their mom have done an amazing job of providing that, and I think that we’re just gonna keep doing it.”
But Brady added, “We’re never a finished product. The kids aren’t finished products. At the end of the day, we’re learning along with them. And all you can do is the best you can do with the opportunities that you have, and the challenges you have, and we all have unique challenges to our life that we deal with.”
Shutterstock
Co-parenting isn’t something the multiple Super Bowl champion experienced for the first time. In fact, Brady and his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, share a son together, 15-year-old Jack.
“There’s no guidebook to life. A lot of the things that happen in your life are the first time. You don’t know how to say always the appropriate thing or the right thing, but the only thing you can do for your kids is to try and say, ‘All right, guys, this is kinda the way that it’s worked for me, and the things that I’ve learned from, and now it’s up to you, you gotta take it,’” the former star quarterback told ET Online. “‘Now, you’ve got choices outside of the house … go out there and do well in the community, respect everyone, respect others. Go out there and make a contribution and find something you love to do. Bring a positive attitude.’”
Youtube/Access
Brady is aware that being a parent is tough and that no matter how hard one tries, there are times when we fail.
“We’re all gonna fail. We’re all gonna have adversities in life, and I think you’re defined a lot by your adversities because those are the things in the end that challenge you to grow the most,” he added as to what he hopes his children will learn from him.
“I mean, life has its ups and downs, professionally, and there’s different things that happen in your life personally, and you just gotta continue to understand them emotionally, intellectually, and then as you move forward, try not to make the same mistakes. And just try to keep growing and become a better person by all your different actions.”
Shutterstock
Following his retirement, Brady expended his family with a pair of kittens.
“Well, I think it’s actually very cute, I never imagined myself having cats, but then I had a little daughter who fell in love with these baby kittens when we were in Tampa last year. We had an amazing bonding experience volunteering at the Humane Society of Tampa, and every week we would go and see the animals, and she fell in love with the little kittens, and by the end of the year, every time we’d leave, she’d say, ‘Daddy, Daddy,’ and I said, ‘When I’m done playing, OK?’ And since then, we’ve had these amazing little creatures come into our life.”
Going through divorce is hard enough, but when there are children involved, things get even harder. We are glad Brady and Bündchen managed to agree on co-parenting their children.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, sought a life away from the spotlight and the paparazzi so they stepped down from their royal duties and left Britain behind, thus settled in sunny California. However, following the split from the Firm, they have given plenty of interviews and have been in the limelight probably way more than when they were working royals. This confused many, as the Sussexes didn’t seem to have taken full advantage of the chance not to be bothered by the media.
What’s most, Harry published a memoir in which he shared plenty of details involving his family, and the couple were featured in a Netflix documentary, revealing a lot about their new life.
Their life in the States seems picture perfect, but now experts reveal that not might be the case.

While Harry is seen playing polo in Santa Barbara from time to time, his wife is spending more time in Los Angeles.
Hollywood insider, broadcaster, comedian, and actor Tim Dillon, who has criticized Harry and Meghan in the past, says Meghan is looking for a company among the celebrities to hang out with, but that doesn’t seem like an easy task as she has a hard time finding any.
“I know people in LA that know them, and all they want to do is hang out with celebrities. I was at a celebrity party the other night talking to somebody about this, and they go, ‘these people are just… it’s constant with them,’” Dillon said on the “They Come and Go” episode of his podcast, The Tim Dillon Show, as reported by the Daily Mail.
“She was texting the person I was with there – and, ‘no, you can’t come’. I shouldn’t have even been there. But the point is they just won’t stop, these two. They are just like moths to the flame trying to hang out… They’re like low-grade reality stars that are trying to attach to anything.”

Further, he went into more details and claimed his friend showed him the message Meghan sent to them.
“She is trying to get places. It’s sad. A lot of it isn’t working, and they are rolling their eyes to me, and they’re going LOL, and we are all having a good laugh about this because they’re just a bunch of goons, and no one cares.”
The broadcaster and comedian added: “Now listen, at the end of the day, I respect the hustle, I get what she’s trying to do, I get what they are trying to do, but it didn’t work, right? A lot of people at this party were like, ‘Hey man, you know, we text her back, we tried to be nice, she’s the Duchess, but we’ve had enough, we’ve had enough of her.”

Dillon’s podcast is quite popular and he has around half a million subscribers on his YouTube channel.
Back in September, Dillon tweeted about the Sussexes. “Harry and Meghan are such a gift to this county. Thank GOD for them. They make everything OK. Just because they’re here. They’re helping people by being on NETFLIX! This was such a happenstance thing, not at all a plan they had. I love when good things just happen. There IS hope!” he wrote.

Regarding Harry and Meghan’s future plans, it has been reported by certain media that they would get involved in yet another Netflix project, but this time, they will be behind cameras.
On the other hand, certain royal experts, including Richard Fitzwilliams, believe the couple will most likely continue to create things similar to what we’ve seen over the past few years, including shows, interviews, and books because there has been plenty left unsaid and they still enjoy enormous popularity.
“His early life might make the third (book) and Meghan could write a memoir, as has been rumoured. There is obviously plenty left that they could say in print,” the royal expert concluded.
“‘The question is, would it benefit them and how would it help their brand and the causes they support?’”

This Earth is home of various different creatures and plants, many of which we’ve never meet or seen.
Back in 2020, a woman named Regan Daniels of North Carolina was taking the usual walk at the park in her home town when she stumbled upon something creepy but fascinating at the same time.
Assuming that the members of the Facebook group Mushroomcore would love it, Daniels shared the photos of the strangely looking fungus there, not assuming that her post would attract the attention of thousands of people.
Regan Daniels
What Daniels actually came across was what is known as Dead Man’s Fingers (Xylaria polymorpha), a type of fungus resembling toes or fingers of a dead person trying to break through the ground. “Saw this Dead Man’s Fingers (or toes in this case) fungus that I literally thought was a Halloween decoration!,” she wrote in her post which showed the swollen, blackened “fingers.”
Many of the people, who were totally stunned by the photos, didn’t know that this fungus is actually quite common and is prevalent in Britain, Ireland, mainland Europe, and various regions across North America, so if you are observant enough, you can see it yourself.

These mushrooms are mostly found in areas of dead or dying wood and that’s why Dead Man’s Fingers are often seen poking up through moss and rotten leaves.
A lot of people were convinced that Daniels’ photos were too surreal to be genuine, but others who have also seen these mushrooms confirmed the photos were likely authentic. “I found the mushroom in Western North Carolina in the United States at a park that I frequent,” Daniels shared with Bored Panda and added, “The walk is nice [and] it’s next to the French Broad River so there’s a lot of good scenery.”

33-year-old Alia Nasyrova is not an ordinary looking woman. On the contrary, her appearance is so staggering that she attracts the attention of many wherever she goes. Why you may wonder. Well, it is because of her incredibly long hair which reaches 90 inches.
Speaking of her stunning locks, Alia says, “I started to grow my hair because since childhood I liked long hair very much. And I was always attracted (to) long hair heroines from fairy tales.” The Latvian-born woman now works as “a very long hair model, and is also a Queen of super long hair!”
She earns her living from offering exclusive content of her hair to paying fans.
On her website, she writes, “I dream of traveling the world, looking for long-haired girls, telling about them and showing this beauty, which I treat as an art.”
Of course, having such long hair requires a lot of work. Among the rest, it takes an hour for Alia to wash it, and a full day to air dry it. The hair also requires its day bag, packed with 22 pounds of liquids that include shampoo, conditioner and other hair accessories.
Her husband, Ivan Balaban, adores his wife’s hair and loves the way she looks, but as he says, he stays away from Alia’s hair in order to avoid to damage it in any way. In a 2017 interview, he said, “I am always cuddling up the wall to give more space for hair, so there is no way I can damage it accidentally, mix them up or harm it any other way.
“I always talk to the braid respectfully. Sometimes I ask it to move a bit,” he added.
Of course, although it looks fascinating, having hair as long as that of Alia can be tricky at times. “Once in my childhood when I was in theatre someone left gum in my hair, it was a tragedy,” she said. “I had to cut out a clump of hair to get rid of this gum, because it was very difficult.”
Now if you think that Alia holds the world record of having the longest hair, you are wrong. This record is held by Xie Qiuping from China whose hair is measured at 18th 5 in long, which is the length of an adult male giraffe.
Who doesn’t enjoy eggs for breakfast? No matter if you like them scrambled, poached, or even sunny side up, eggs are the best way to start your day in a healthy way. They give us the energy we need and make perfect combo with cheese, tomatoes, and bacon.
Although it’s unusual, it may happen for some eggs to have two yolks. Do you recall coming across an egg like that? Even if you have, there is one Texas farmer who can brag with something way cooler than a two-yolk egg. And that’s a double egg. If you don’t know what we are talking about, take a look at this amazing story.
Source: Video Screenshot
Double-shelled eggs are so rare that even though there are videos of people cracking them open, many people are convinced they are not real.
The process occurs when “an egg that is nearly ready be laid reverses direction and gets a new layer of albumen covered by a second shell,” reports Poultry Help.
According to Countryside Network, the process that causes the egg to reverse is called a ‘counter-peristalsis contraction’.
However, there is this YouTube video of a man who describes himself as “just an old Texas farmer appreciating nature” discovering a huge egg laid by an average sized chicken. The video was uploaded in July 2015, and so far, it has been seen more than 3 million times.
The farmer starts tapping the egg and makes a small crack in the shell. He then peels off one small part and we can clearly see the yolk.
“Oh, I see another surprise!” he says with a chuckle.
“A double egger!”
Source: Video Screenshot
The farmer slowly pours the yolk out of the shell, until only the inner egg remains. He says, “No double yolks, that’s for wimps. We got double eggs!”
Source: Video Screenshot
The second egg which was inside the big one is with a regular size. He cracks that one too, and it’s just a plain egg, like those we buy at the grocery store.

The oceans and the seas are mysterious places, but thanks to the researchers and people who love marine life, we learn more and more about the secrets and the creatures deep waters hide.
Recently, a breathtaking discovery was made in the Pacific Ocean by a group of scientists and we are left puzzled and unable to give an answer to the question of what this new discovery might mean.
Credit / YouTube – EVNautilus
Namely, in an attempt to investigate a split in the Lili’uokalani Ridge Seamounts in Hawaii using a remotely operated vehicle, the members of the Exploration Vessel Nautilu came across a ‘yellow brick road’ which left both stunned and totally surprised.
At the moment they made the stunning discovery which raised plenty of questions, the crew was going live and streaming their journey under the ocean. To their surprise, and the surprise of everyone who got to see the footage, they suddenly noticed what resembles a man-made road composed of yellow, rectangular blocks.
“It’s the road to Atlantis,” one of the crew members could be heard saying. “The yellow brick road?” another adds. “This is bizarre. Are you kidding me? This is crazy?” a third added.
Credit / YouTube – EVNautilus
People couldn’t help but make guesses of how this ‘road’ was made. However, it turns out that there is a scientific explanation behind the discovery that caused a stir on the social media.
Researchers describe the ‘yellow brick road’ as “an example of ancient active volcanic geography.”
“At the summit of Nootka Seamount, the team spotted a “dried lake bed” formation, now IDed as a fractured flow of hyaloclastite rock (a volcanic rock formed in high-energy eruptions where many rock fragments settle to the seabed).”
You can take a look at the video below.
Aren’t the oceans fascinating to explore? Only God knows what they truly hide.

UNSPECIFIED - CIRCA 1970: Photo of Frankie Valli Photo by Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images
Frankie Valli, a versatile man of many talents, celebrated his 89th birthday recently and he still looks as handsome as he did back in the day when he and his band, The Four Seasons, captivated audiences from every corner of Earth.
Frankie fell in love with music when he was still just a child, following a concert of great Frank Sinatra his mom took him to at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
Speaking of Sinatra and the role he played in his life and his career, Frankie once said, ”He kind of took me under his wing as a friend because I did this thing for his mother. For about 10 years we were really close. Every time I saw him it was a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.”

Before rising to stardom and topping the charts with his band and as a solo artist with hits such as ”Sherry,” ”Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and ”Walk Like a Man,” Frankie worked a variety of jobs, including truck driving, caddying on a golf course, and barbering just like his father. He then started singing on the streets, but as soon as he and the rest of the members of the band, Tommy DeVito, Nick Massi, and Bob Gaudio formed The Four Seasons, they all became household names who got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.

Along with his successful music career, Frankie also found success in the industry of film and took part in a number of TV shows, among which Miami Vice, The Sopranos and Hawaii Five-0.
Singer Frankie Valli and his ex-wife Randy
Today, at the age of 89, Frankie doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, on the contrary, he’s as active at the music scene as he was back in the day.
”It used to be real hard performing the same songs over and over but every time I sing a a song, which is what the public want to hear, not my new material or even my solo recordings, I try to perform it as though it were the first time,” Frankie said in 1993.

Throughout his life, Frankie was married three times and has six children. Unfortunately, he experienced the worst form of heartbreak when his step-daughter, the daughter of his first wife, Mary, died after falling off a fire escape in 1980. Six months later, he received yet another devastating blow when his youngest daughter died of drug abuse.
Despite the tragedies, he needed to stay strong and resilient for the sake of his other children who continue bringing him joy.
”My kids are all creative and creators. Even my grandkids! My son Brando is doing EDM and I just saw my granddaughter Olivia perform in the touring company of Pretty Woman in Los Angeles. She is playing the lead. It was thrilling!,” Frankie told The Montrealer last year.

Frankie continues to captivate the hearts of many. He truly is a living legend we all adore.

A lot has been going on withing the British royal family during the last couple of years. From Harry and Meghan seeking privacy and moving to sunny California, leaving Britain behind, to Queen Elizabeth’s passing, and most recently, King Charles coronation, the family has gone through significant changes, some of which, including the latter, dubbed historical.
When it comes to the coronation of the new King and Queen, it’s safe to say it was a perfect day. No incidents were reported, and no issues arose. In fact, everything went as smoothly as planned.
Rumors surrounding Harry and whether or not he and Meghan would attend Charles’ big day were circulating around for weeks prior to the event, and on the day of the coronation, people witnessed Harry being there for his father while his wife stayed home with their two children and celebrated Archie’s birthday with some of their closest family and friends.
Samir Hussein – Pool/WireImage
Harry was seen spending time with his cousin, Princess Eugenie, who is said to be the only royal to have visited Harry and Meghan in the US, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank. Harry got to sit just two rows behind Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as two of their three children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
“There were discussions that the seating could be arranged on line of succession. But that would have put fifth-in-line Harry front and centre — and with William and Kate,” a source told The Sun.
“Instead the decision was working royals only at the front and work back from there. Harry will be a long way from his father.”
Ben Stansall – WPA Pool/Getty Images
Before the ceremony started, Harry could be seen chatting with Jack Brooksbank, and according lip-reading expert Jerey Freeman, one of the things Harry said was, “I’m fed up with the way they treat me.”
As per The Sun, he also caught Harry saying: “It’s not an ideal situation,” to what Brooksbank replied: “If I can make you feel any better, and even I can do it. It’s not the quiet life, is it?”
“They don’t care,” Harry answered. Jack Brooksbank added: “I haven’t time for that, not if it’s over…”
“It’s an eventuality,” Harry concluded.
As neither Meghan nor her children were in attendance, while Kate’s three kids were there to see their grandpa be crowned and George even served as a Page of Honor, it was reported that the King made a toast for “those that weren’t there,” a nod thought to include Archie and Lilibet.
He went on to wish his young grandson a very happy birthday “wherever he was.”
“It was apparently a very sweet moment,” a source told the Daily Mail.

King Charles doesn’t get the chance to be spending time around Archie and Lili, so when he first met Lili on her first birthday which she celebrated in Britain, the proud grandpa was over the moon.
At the time, a royal source told BBC that Charles and Lilibet – now a princess – had a “very emotional” first meeting.
“It was fantastic to see them. It was wonderful to have them back in Britain,” the source said. “The prince and the duchess were absolutely thrilled to see them. He said it was also ‘very, very special’ for [then-Prince] Charles to spend time with his grandson, Archie, now aged three.”
The source added: “He hadn’t met Lili, his granddaughter, and so to meet her was very emotional, a very, very wonderful thing.”
Netflix
Lili will be turning two years old on June 4, and the family is allegedly planning to celebrate her birthday in the comfort of their Montecito, California home.
According to New Idea, as reported by Express, Charles is planning on giving Lilibet a lovely present for her 2nd birthday. The king wants to give the little girl a gift that she “will use and be hers.”
“Charles has had his aides looking at a custom-made cubby house, similar to what the Queen and Princess Margaret had when they were girls,” an insider revealed.
“He wants to give Lili something she will use and be hers. She’ll remember it forever – it’s going to be the ultimate surprise!”
Netflix
However, as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tend not to spoil their children, Harry has reportedly urged his father “to be less extravagant.”
“Harry is letting Meghan take charge of most of Lili’s gifts, but he was talking about adding more British books to the nursery that he used to love as a kid, like the Paddington Bear and Frog and Toad series,” a source added.
Sources close to the Firm say that though Charles was happy to see Harry attending the coronation, he was sad he wasn’t given the chance to see Archie and Lili. “It is sad, he is very disappointed that he won’t see Meghan or his grandchildren but understands the situation,” a source told The Sun.
Not being able to see his grandchildren took a toll on Charles, experts claim. Royal author Robert Jobson describes King Charles’s anguish over Archie and Lilibet, who are sixth and seventh in the line of succession, in his book OUR KING: Charles III: the Man and the Monarch.

“Unfortunately, due to the poor relationship with his second son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Charles has spent hardly any quality time with his other grandchildren, Archie and his sister, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor,” Robert Jobson writes in his book, as quoted by the Mirror.
“But those close to him say they are always in his heart. It is one of the reasons he finds the estrangement from his second son so difficult to cope with.”
When he landed the role of Radar, a newly drafted 18-year-old who came with his teddy bear and soon turned into a friend to everyone, in the hit series M*A*S*H, actor Gary Burghoff became a fan-favorite.
His years on the show earned him plenty of awards and helped him make a name for himself. At one point, when he decided to leave the series because he felt like he wasn’t getting proper dues, fans were heartbroken.
However, the reasons why Gary decided it was enough with M*A*S*H seem to be more profound. According to the series director, Gary was experiencing troubles with his then-wife Janet Gayle whom he married in 1971. The two welcomed daughter Gena four years later, on July 20, 1975.
Two days after leaving the show in 1979, producers offered Gary $4 million to return, which would have made him the best paid actor at the time, but he refused. Instead, he decided to reconnect with his old friends and be around his family.
Gary, who has recently turned 80 years old, married his second wife, Elizabeth Bolstrom, in 1985. The two had two children together, Miles and Jordan, and Miles became a father himself just recently, making Gary a grandfather for the first time in his life.
Miles and his wife welcomed a baby girl on March 23, 2023. The proud father announced they were expecting by sharing an Instagram photo of his heavily pregnant wife touching her big baby bump. Once the baby was born, Miles posted beautiful photos of his wife and his daughter. On one of them, he could be seen holding the baby. He wrote he’d caught “the best 8-pounder” of his life and shared that her name was Rylee Elisabeth Burghoff.
Gary and his son Miles share a very strong bond. Although Miles didn’t follow into his dad’s footsteps when it comes to acting, he does share his passion for fishing. What’s most, Miles pursued a professional fishing career with the help and support of his father whom he refers to as to his “mentor and partner” in fishing, a pastime they both enjoyed.
Just how much fishing is important to these two speaks the fact that when Gary won the accolade for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 1977, he couldn’t attend it because he was out fishing. “It was my lifetime moment, and I wasn’t there,” the star said jokingly.
Some four years ago, Gary contributed to the GoFundMe effort for those whose lives were impacted by the California fires and appeared in a video. His fans were quick to comment, with one person saying, “OMG I remember him when I was just a child watching mash. He still has the same voice and looks.” Another commented, “Good to see you Mr. Burghoff, I’m donating not just because of the need, but because I feel I owe you something. As a kid I watched MASH and loved your work. Now my wife and I are enjoying it all over again on Netflix. You made me laugh, feel, and think, and I appreciated all of that. Jordan, thanks for posting this.”
We wish Gary only the best life brings.

18-year-old Iam Tongi has been crowned the winner of the 21st season of one of the most popular music shows there are, American Idol.
However, not many are convinced that he deserved this win and believe that runner-up Colin Stough was robbed of the title. Fans of the show claim that it wasn’t his talent and his singing that made Iam win, but his ‘sob background story’ he presented the judges and the audience with.
Iam, who is the first ever contestant from Hawaii to claim a win in this show, opened up about these accusations and said he isn’t bothered by them, on the contrary, he loves them. “A lot of people are like, ‘Colin Stough was robbed,’ or whatever. And I just love it,” the teenage shared with Daily Mail about his divisive victory.
18-year-old American Idol winner Iam Tongi finally responds to his ‘rigging’ scandal
Further, he said how his late father, who passed away in 2021, warned him about the fact that he can experience backlash throughout life and face people who won’t like him and won’t appreciate his music.
“My dad always told me that your music’s not meant for everyone. There’s going to be people that are not going to like it and that’s OK, that’s normal,” he said.
“Everyone gets their own opinion. Everyone gets to think what they think. So, it’s fine.’ As for how he deals with the hate, he said he simply has a policy of killing them with kindness, in fact, he sometimes even ‘likes’ some of the posts he sees on social media.
“I just like [them], whatever what they say, ’cause you know, [I gotta] let those things happen,’ he said with good humor.
“I am guilty for liking it. But look, [my] music’s not for everyone. And I have to learn that the hard way,” the winner added.
Speaking of runner-up Colin Stough, Iam said he has no hard feelings towards him.
“I love Colin man, he’s such a kind guy. I’m going to see him again, we are going to jam out again and have fun,” he said about Colin.
“But yeah … it makes me happy to see that people love other styles of music as much as I do,” he added.
“They love Colin that much [that they say], ‘He should have won.’ And that makes me happy, to be honest.
“I love [my] community coming out and supporting me and showing up [for me], and I’m not going to really chase after fans. I’m going to be myself and do what I love and just have fun while I’m doing it and see whatever happens, happens,” he explained.

Further, Iam gave his honest opinion about judge Katy Perry who will likely leave the show because of the backlash she faced over some of the comments she made during the final season.
“[All the judges] are so fun and we had a lot of fun with them while I was on Idol. The support [Katy] gives, and the love [she] gives to the contestants would be missed. I would miss Katy [if she left],” the young winner said.
No matter the comments, Iam enjoys his victory and everything that came with it. Currently, he’s working on his first album, which according to Iam himself would have a ‘Jack Johnson kind of vibe.’

When the family of actor Bruce Willis shared the news that the Die Hard star had been diagnosed with a condition which affects one’s ability to communicate, the world fell silent. All of a sudden, fans started wondering if that would mean the end of his career, which sadly, was confirmed to be exactly that.
Willis then withdrew from from the spotlight, and later on, he was diagnosed with another condition, frontotemporal dementia.
This was a huge blow not only for him, but his entire family who has never left his side. On the contrary, both his current wife, Emma Heming, his ex-wife, Demi Moore, and all of his children tend to spend as much time around Bruce as possible as his health is deteriorating, according to sources close to the family who also claim that “Bruce can’t say much, and it doesn’t appear like he understands much of what people say,” so Emma serves as his spokesperson and communicator.

Bruce’s third-born daughter, Tallulah, penned an emotional essay in Vogue earlier this week in which she spoke of her father’s health struggles during the recent years and how that affected the family.
“He had had two babies with my stepmother, Emma Heming Willis, and I thought he’d lost interest in me. Though this couldn’t have been further from the truth, my adolescent brain tortured itself with some faulty math: I’m not beautiful enough for my mother, I’m not interesting enough for my father,” Tallulah started her letter.
“I admit that I have met Bruce’s decline in recent years with a share of avoidance and denial that I’m not proud of. The truth is that I was too sick myself to handle it.
“For the last four years, I have suffered from anorexia nervosa, which I’ve been reluctant to talk about because, after getting sober at age 20, restricting food has felt like the last vice that I got to hold on to.”
As she was fighting her own demons and was struggling to make things right when it came to her personal life, her father was fighting his own battle one no one was aware of at the time.
“All kinds of cognitive testing was being conducted, but we didn’t have an acronym yet,” Tallulah continued.

“I remember a moment when it hit me painfully: I was at a wedding in the summer of 2021 on Martha’s Vineyard, and the bride’s father made a moving speech. Suddenly I realized that I would never get that moment, my dad speaking about me in adulthood at my wedding.
“It was devastating. I left the dinner table, stepped outside, and wept in the bushes.”
She concluded her emotional letter writing, “He may always know who I am, give or take the occasional bad day.
“I know that trials are looming, that this is the beginning of grief.
“It feels like a unique and special time in my family, and I’m just so glad to be here for it.”
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bruce Willis and his family.

For stunning Melissa Gilbert, who portrayed Laura Ingalls on NBC’s Little House on the Prairie and became a sensation adored by millions almost overnight after she first appeared on TV, the days of acting are behind it seems.
These days, she and her husband Tim Busfield live a quiet life away from the Hollywood glam. The two have been residing in upstate New York after purchasing a 14-acre property in the Catskill mountains where they keep chickens and plant crops. And although the life on the farm brings nothing but peace and tranquility for the actress, she was recently involved in a serious accident which led to her visiting the hospital.

Namely, Melissa was bitten by a bug, and at first, she didn’t pay much attention to it, but it wasn’t long before her hand swelled.
Once at the Bon Secours hospital in Port Jervis, NY, she was diagnosed with bacterial skin infection known as cellulitis which according to Healthline ”can occur when bacteria enter your body because of a cut, scrape, or break in the skin, such as a bug bite.”
Instagram
Taking to Instagram, Melissa wrote, ”A Public Service Announcement: Well that was a fun night in the ER (she said with dripping sarcasm),” Gilbert captioned the post of her hand in an IV and a close-up shot of her swollen arm. “Two days ago a flying insect (not bee or wasp) bit my arm. By last night my arm was incredibly swollen, red and hot.
”Called my [doctor and] he suggested we hightail it to the ER. I was gonna wait but [Timothy] said, ‘Absolutely not. We are going!’ After many tests I was diagnosed with an abscess and cellulitis.”
Doctors were quick to administer an intravenous infusion of clindamycin, Benedryl, and acetaminophen which eased her pain and made her feel better right away.
”Still kept me up all night. Starting antibiotics, Benedryl and ibuprofen orally today,” she shared and urged her followers to take bug bites seriously and avoid possible complications.

”The lesson-take bug bites seriously! If it swells up like crazy (my whole upper arm was swollen!), don’t wait to get treated, thinking ‘it’s just a little bite. How bad can it get?’ Go to your dr or urgent care or the ER. I’m serious!” she said.
”Back in the days of #lauraingallswilder, this would’ve meant death or amputation. There’s treatment available. So now I’m going to take my meds and rest like the good bunny I am. Stupid bug bite.”
We are glad Melissa is now recovering and doing fine.

A heartbreaking tragedy took place when a 3-year-old boy named Josiah Toleafoa was killed on the day he was supposed to celebrate his third birthday.
The sweet boy and his family were at the parking lot of Play City, an indoor venue for kids’ parties, when a car hit Josiah.
Witnesses of the tragedy said that his devastated mother screamed and cried hysterically as paramedics were trying to save his life. Unfortunately, Josiah didn’t make it. He died at the Rady Children’s Hospital.
This family’s lives turned upside down. What was supposed to be a day of joy turned into the worst experience of their lives. Their happiness was replaced with grief and sorrow and their world shattered into a million pieces.
Shutterstock
Reportedly, the 36-year-old driver who killed Josiah and whose identity hasn’t been confirmed wasn’t under influence of drugs or alcohol. He stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities and reasons behind the loss of control haven’t been confirmed.
Members of the family started a GoFundMe to help Josiah’s mom and dad with the funeral expenses.
“JOSIAH brought the family together- his incredible SMILE, LOVING HEART simply brought JOY to any room. There was no time to see him do amazing things. I KNOW HE WOULD HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD,” the boy’s aunt, Tatiana Toleafoa wrote.
Shutterstock
“We’re doing this gofundme to help with my sweet nephew’s funeral expenses and services for the little angel that touched so many lives in so many different ways before he was called to Heaven. Any amount would help, anything at all. We are so thankful to have loving family and friends to be with us and love us through this horrible tragedy and want to be able to put him to rest to say goodbye and never forget the little boy who loved with a tremendous heart,” the page stated.
The owner of Play City donated $2,000 to the Josiah’s family and that the landlord matched his donation as well.
Currently, no arrests have been made.
We are so very sorry for this family’s heartbreak. There is no greater loss than that of losing a child.
Rest in peace, Josiah.

An icon to American youth in the 1960s, George Maharis, best known for his work on Fantasy Island and Route 66 passed away this month, his friend and caretaker Marc Bahan confirmed.
“George Maharis passed away on Wednesday, May 25. George is well known for his stardom in route 66, stage productions, singing, artist, and above all a great guy would do anything for anyone. My dear friend, you’ll be terribly missed,” Bahan wrote in his post.
On Route 66, Maharis played Buz Murdock, a hardened survivor of New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen. He, along with co-star Tod Stiles, who passed away in 2015, traveled the highway that author John Steinbeck had dubbed “The Mother Road” and embarked on new journeys visiting new city with each new episode.
After three seasons, Maharis left the show and the role which earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Continuity of Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Series. The reason was his hospitalization for hepatitis.
Maharis went on to appear in a number of films, including Sylvia, The Satan Bug and The Happening, before he got a leading role in another series, The Most Deadly Game. At the same time, he is known to be one of the first models to pose nude for Playgirl.
Before studying at the Actors Studio and being part of a number of off-Broadway shows, Maharis, who was born in Queens to parents of Greek origin, served in the Marine Corps.
Besides being a famous name in Hollywood, Maharis also had a singing career during which he released seven albums. His song Teach Me Tonight reached the charts.
George Maharis died aged 94. May he rest in peace.

Over the years, Kate Middleton became a much-loved member of the family. Along with her husband, the future King of the country, they make one of the most powerful couples in the world.
The Princess of Wales truly is a special woman, both as a royal and as a mother. One thing about her is that she carries a lot of weight on her shoulder, but she performs everything with such excellence that she leaves many stunned. Always down-to-earth and extremely fashionable, Kate steals the attention whenever she appears.
Her and William’s love story dates back from the time they were still relatively young and studied at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
Photo by Kin Cheung – WPA Pool/Getty Images
They both graduated in the same year, 2005; William with a master of arts degree in geography, and Kate with a master of arts degree in art history. But while their relationship appeared only to flourish, trouble lay on the horizon.
When the media learned that the Prince was dating Kate, who was labeled as a ‘commoner’ despite the fact her parents made millions through their company, all eyes were on her. And knowing how cruel the British press can be, then 19-year-old Kate went through hell when they started calling her “Waity Katie” and “Lazy Katie.” This was due to the fact that she quit her job to “prepare for her future life.”
However, in 2007, the couple split, and that split was a high-profile one as everyone suddenly started talking about it. The news filled the newspapers and made headlines while many speculated of the reasons behind the break-up.

Recalling the time of their break up, both Kate and William claimed it was actually good for them because they got to “find themselves.” Kate even said that “you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you’re younger,” as per The Telegraph.
As William was partying at London nightclubs and was dating different girls, Kate believed he was “cheapening her image.” According to royal correspondents Laura Collins, Katie Nicholl, and Ian Gallagher, “harsh words” were exchanged between William and Kate as she felt humiliated by his behavior.
William was very supportive of his loved one and made sure he prepared Kate for her life as a royal.

At certain point of their relationship, it was William’s friends who overstepped the line and treated Kate with certain amount of disrespect, giving her nicknames. This made William furious and he stood up for her.
Before starting their multi-million dollar worth company Party Pieces, Kate’s parents worked ordinary jobs. Her mother was an air hostess for the British Airways and it seemed like a good ground for jokes at the future Princess’ expense.
Speaking on Vanity Fair’s DYNASTY podcast last year, royal expert Katie Nicholl – author of The New Royals – described how William’s “snooty” friends whispered “doors to manual” when Kate arrived at one of West London’s nightclubs.
The prince’s aristocratic friends who were referred to as the “Glosse Posse,” a reference to their Gloucestershire roots, didn’t feel like Kate was on their level. However, she never rose to the “derogatory” comments made towards her, but decided to ignore them.
“It was never water off a duck’s back, but she has extraordinary strength of character and resilience. I’ve never once seen or heard of her losing her temper,” a royal aide told the Sunday Times Magazine.

William never let anyone mock Kate. When his friends didn’t treat her right, he would stop the insults right away. According to a 2021 article published by Daily Mail, “[William] flies off the handle at any sign of Kate being patronised and stamps that out very quickly. It’s one of his triggers,” a royal source said.
“Over the years, many people have come up with great ideas for her, but if they are put across in a dismissive way, they’ve got pretty short shrift from him.”
“When Kate felt isolated from his life, he confronted the ‘friends’ who were not only abusive toward her but also her mother, mocking her English [and] calling her ‘door to manual’ as she used to be a hostess. [William] made it clear he didn’t tolerate disrespect to [Kate] or his in-laws,” royal expert namedCanellecitadelle on Twitter shared.
One time, people referred to Kate’s family as to “the en masse Middletons.” This was because the family would show up to an event in a “pristine” Land Rover, bringing with them all the things that come with an upper-class picnic.
Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty Images
“The snootiness of the upper classes leveled at what they called the ‘en masse Middletons,’ this idea that the Middletons would turn up for a picnic at a social event for example and they would turn up in their pristine Land Rover that had been newly polished and they had a brand new Fortnum and Masons hamper, all of the paraphernalia that comes with an upper-class picnic,” Katie Nicholl explained on the DYNASTY podcast.
“But of course, [they were] alongside the sort of true aristocratic double baron titles that turn up at these events, in their muddy Land Rovers, with their moth-eaten blankets that are full of holes and some sort of oddly cobbled together picnic with hardboiled eggs rather than M&S finest.”
As time passed by, Britons started showing their appreciation for Kate, and today, she’s high on the list of favorite members of the Firm.
Indigo/Getty Images
She, of course, did all in her power to create an image of herself as a suitable future Queen.
“Kate’s look has definitely taken a more serious, business-like mood since she became the Princess of Wales, which reflects the gravitas of her new position within the Royal family as she gets nearer to the throne,” royal fashion expert Miranda Holder told Newsweek.
“The fun, feminine, flirty Kate who we all fell in love with in her polka-dot tea dresses seems to have been replaced by a new, more heavyweight incarnation.”
The expert continued: “In the last 6 months, trouser suits have most definitely prevailed, whereas before this we were most familiar with the princess in skirts and dresses.
“Indeed, the whole aesthetic is far more formal and occasionally a little austere—it is indeed as if the princess means business and takes her contribution to the many causes she supports extremely seriously, and wishes to refocus the public’s attention on the charity in hand rather than the brand she is wearing.”

Halle Berry isn’t just an on screen superhero, but an amazing real life mom to her two children, daughter Nahla, who was raised away from the spotlight and the public eye, and son Maceo Martinez.
The Monster’s Ball star, who is the first ever black woman to earn an Academy Award for best actress, was married three times. From 1993 to 1997, she was married to MBL player David Justice, and then, from 2001 to 2005, she was married to singer-songwriter Eric Benét. But it wasn’t until two failed marriages that she met the father of her future daughter. Berry met handsome Canadian model, Gabriel Aubrey, at a 2005 Versace photoshoot. The two fell for one another and welcomed daughter Nahla in 2008.

Sadly, the couple split in 2010, and the two were left fighting over Nahla whom Berry wanted to move to France but was forbidden to do so by the courts. Over the years, the two have been involved in a number of disputes over their parenting styles.
One time, Berry accused Aubrey of dying Nahla’s hair, but he denied the accusations. Berry then took him to court and after analyzing the girl’s hair, it was determined that it was indeed dyed.

Today, Nahla is 15 and she’s bigger sister to Berry’s son whom she had with Olivier Martinez, her co-star from Dark Tide.
However, the fact that Nahla turned 15 surprised many, probably because of the fact that the world hasn’t seen much of her throughout the years.
For the occasion, Berry shared photos of her daughter. One of them is a framed black and white image on which the mother-daughter duo share a laught, and the second captures Nahla from the back, while she lies on a netted hammock overlooking the water. On the third photo Belly shared, Nahla is sitting on an outdoor couch while her face is covered with a brown, beret-styled cap.
“One of the greatest gifts the universe has given me is my daughter, Nahla. She is the sun that never fades and the moon that never wanes! Please join me in wishing her a happy 15th Birthday today! I love you sweet angel,” the proud mom wrote.
“Is that ‘15th a typo? That human cannot be 15 already,” one fan wrote.
Nahla’s dad also shared a sweet message for his daughter’s birthday. “Happy Birthday my beautiful little Nahla. Nothing brings more joy than seeing you grow into the amazing little woman that you are.”
One thing about Nahla that everyone agrees on is that she is a spitting image of her dad. A lot of people commented on the physical likeness between the father and the daughter, writing, “that baby looks like her daddy,” and “she has her dad’s face.”

After four months, the body of Brazilian actor Jefferson Machado, best known for his role in the soap opera Reis, who was last seen on January 27, 2023 and was reported missing on February 9 after his dogs were found abandoned at his Rio de Janeiro home, was found stuffed inside a wooden chest buried six-feet beneath the backyard of a house in the area of Campo Grande, Rio de Janeiro.
As of now, the suspect of this horrific crime is one of Machado’s friends who was renting the property where his body was located, but no arrests have been made.
The news of his tragic passing was reported by his lawyer Jairo Magalhaes Advogados who shared a statement with the public which read, “It is with regret that I share the sad news of the passing of actor Jeff Machado, whose body was found with signs of strangulation.”
“His arms were tied behind his head and buried in a trunk that is very similar to the ones in his own house,” Advogados added.
The actor spoke to his mother on January 29, two days after he was last seen, but no one heard from him ever since. What’s most, shortly after he went missing, the password of his iCloud was changed and his location deactivated. In the meantime, his family and friends were receiving text messages from his phone number from someone who tried to impersonate him.

When Esra Haynes died, she was just 13 years old, and the reason for her tragic death is bizarre.
This young girl who was referred to as “determined, fun, cheeky and talented” by the Montrose Football Netball Club that she co-captained, got caught in a viral craze called chroming, which involves inhaling toxic chemicals through the mouth or nose to get high.
Esra was an athlete and lead a healthy life, racing BMX bikes with her brothers, and leading her team to a national aerobics’ championship in Queensland. But all that was taken away from her after a wrong decision she made on March 31 during a sleepover at a friend’s house.
GoFundMe
As she wanted to be part of the viral trend, Esra inhaled a toxic amount of aerosol deodorant and went into cardiac arrest, sustaining irreparable brain damage.
Her parents were devastated. Appearing on A Current Affair with host Ally Langdon, they spoke of the heartbreak and the fatal consequences of inhaling toxic chemicals in an attempt to prevent something similar from happening to other naive young people.
“It was just the regular routine of going to hang out with her mates,” her mom Andrea, told Langdon in the interview. Her father Paul added, “We always knew where she was and we knew who she was with. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary…To get this phone call at that time of night, (it) was one of the calls no parent ever wants to have to receive, and we unfortunately got that call: ‘Come and get your daughter.’”
Initially, her friends weren’t aware how serious Esra’s condition was. They only thought she was having a panic attack, not aware that their friends was dying right in front of their eyes. “But after inhaling deodorant, her body was actually starting to shut down, she was in cardiac arrest and no one at the sleepover used cardiac arrest,” Langdon explained.
When her mom arrived by Esra’s side, paramedics were trying to revive her and told Andrea that her daughter had been chroming, a word that the scared mother heard for the first time ever.
Esra was transferred to the hospital and was placed on life support, but just eight hours later, the parents were told that her brain was damaged beyond repair and that needed to make a decision to turn the life support off.
Knowing there was nothing that could be done, Andrea and Paul called relatives and family members to say their final goodbyes. “It was a very, very difficult thing to do to such a young soul. She was put onto a bed so we could lay with her. We cuddled her until the end.”
Esra’s siblings, Imogen, Seth and Charlie are have been shattered ever since their sister is gone.
“It was really devastating, devastating for everyone involved, all her friends as well,” Paul said. “It’s been the most difficult, traumatic time any parent could go through. We haven’t been sleeping, we’ve hardly been eating, we haven’t been smiling–we’re not ourselves…But it’s not just affected us, it’s the community as well.”
Following Esra’s passing, Andrea and Paul are doing all in their power to put an end to the crazy viral craze that took their daughter’s life.
Speaking to 7 News, Paul said he wished he knew of chroming when Esra was still alive, so he could have warned her of the dangers: “If we were educated and the word had been put out there, we would have had the discussion around our kitchen table for sure.
“We need to ramp it up and let these kids find out the information first-hand, and not through friends, and not through social media–then they’re given the right advice off the bat.”
Esra isn’t the first victim of chroming. Over the years, a number of young people lost their lives from the consequences of it as it can easily lead to seizures, heart attack, suffocation, sudden sniffing death, coma, and organ failure.
“We’ve got the pictures in our mind which will never be erased, you know, of what we were confronted with,” Paul told Langdon. “Our gut was ripped out.”
We are so very sorry for this family’s loss and we wish no parent ever experiences such heartbreak.

Known for blending traditional honky-tonk and mainstream country pop sounds, Alan Jackson’s list of awards is so long that we stopped counting. Among the rest, he is a recipient of two Grammy Awards, 16 CMA Awards, 17 ACM Awards and nominee of multiple other awards.
In 2001, Jackson was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, while in 2017 and 2018, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame respectively. Jackson is also a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
Around two years ago, the singer revealed he had been diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a group of disorders that cause nerve damage, which has affected his ability to move and keep balance on stage. His diagnosis was confirmed back in 2011, but he managed to hide it from his fans until symptoms grew worse over the years.
CMT disease ‘causes degeneration of the peripheral nerves, leading to muscle weakness in the body’s extremities,’ according to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). There are roughly 126,000 people in the United States and more than 2.5 million people worldwide living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease – nearly all CMT disease cases are inherited.
— Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (@cmtausa) April 3, 2023
Besides the condition, he still does what he loves most, making music. On his daughter Mattie Jackson’s podcast In Joy Life, Jackson said, “I’m always scribbling down ideas and thinking about melodies… I feel like there’ll be some more music to come, yes.”
He was then asked by fans if he has plans on making a new album to what he answered, “Yes, I would hope so,” to the delight of many. Further, he added that besides not touring around, his ‘creative part jumps out every now and then.’
On the 56th annual CMA, Jackson was presented with the association’s Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.
The country legend took the stage and had the crowd rise to their feet. Following the performance he said, “Country music’s been really good to me. I fell in love with it when I was a young man.”
But what he enjoys most about his career is writing songs. On his daughter’s podcast, he revealed that writing songs is ‘more fulfilling than anything’ and that he loves it way better than performing on stage.
“When you make an album, or especially when you write a lot of the songs for it, that’s creating something. It’s a challenge, so it keeps you interested a little more. If I didn’t write, I think I would’ve gotten bored just singing a long time ago,” he said.
Jackson started his career back in the day when he started performing at night clubs and local bars while he worked as a mechanic. Then, he signed with Arista Records in Nashville and released his first record, Here in the Real World, in 1985. Well, the rest is history.
The Georgia native has been married to wife Denise since 1979 and they have three children together.

How many times has it happened to you to lose your wallet, your keys, or even important documents? I know it happens to me very often. Luckily, I always find them in some of my drawers.
But when you lose something out of your house, you only hope an honest person will stumble upon it and give it back to you before you lose hope of ever finding it again.
Honestly, not many people will ever return a wallet full of cash, but luckily, for one veteran, his was found by a young man with a heart of gold.
Tommy O’Connor, a student at Irvington High School was leaving a 7-Eleven in Fremont, California, when he spotted a wallet on the ground. Once he opened it to see who it belonged to, Tommy saw a wad of $100 bills inside. Overall, there were $2,300 in the wallet.
YouTube / LOCAL 12
The young man knew exactly what to do. He was determined to find the rightful owner, which didn’t seem like an easy task as there were no documents inside.
After thorough consideration, Tommy decided to ask his para-educator at the school, Andre Gomez, for help. “He was so concerned about finding the wallet’s owner,” Andre recalled. “No other option even occurred to him. He immediately knew what he had to do.”
Once they checked the wallet again, the two were able to find a veteran card with a name and an address on it. Tommy and Andre were quick to track the man down who was over the moon when he heard his money wasn’t lost. He was desperate to find the wallet as he needed to pay rent, and Tommy doing the right thing restored this veteran’s faith in humanity. He gave Tommy $50 as a reward for the kind deed.

Tommy could easily keep the money because his family was having a hard time make ends meet and lived paycheck-to-paycheck, but he held to his principles and made the right decision.
When his family learned what Tommy did they couldn’t hide the fact they were really proud of their son. “With us living month-to-month, it is a big chunk of money and I’m so proud of him that he did that,” his dad told KPIX 5.
When Tommy’s mom sent him a message that read “Ms. Kalra called me. Wow your one in a million. Love you to the moon and back,” Tommy responded in the sweetest way. He replied: “You should be thanking yourself. You raised me.”

The news of Tina Turner’s passing broke the hearts of millions of fans from every part of the earth.
“Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock’n Roll’ has died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland,” the statement read. “With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model.”
With a career spanning over five decades, Tina Turner remains one of the best-selling recording artists. She was born Anna Mae Bullock and her parents divorced when she was very young leaving her and her sister with their grandmother. When she turned 19, Tina moved in with her mother and that’s when her talent got noticed.
Tina rose to fame when she started performing with her then-husband Ike Turner before she started a solo career.

Her energetic stage presence and her powerful vocal kept her on the top for many years. Tina’s songs “Private Dancer,” “What’s Love Got To Do,” “Proud Mary,” and many more are still huge hits and part of many generations’ lives.
She retired from singing some years ago, and sadly, she faced health issues during the final years of her life.
Many fellow colleagues paid tribute to the woman who changed the world of music forever. Among them was Mick Jagger who tweeted, “I’m so saddened by the passing of my wonderful friend Tina Turner. She was truly an enormously talented performer and singer. She was inspiring, warm, funny and generous, she helped me so much when I was young and I will never forget her.”
Lionel Richie shared: “What a life! What a show! What a talent! Your resilience was a lesson for us all. I will miss you, my dear friend! Thanks for the memories…”

Another person who shared fond memories involving Tina Turner and her everlasting music is Prince William.
Back in 2021, William revealed he has a soft spot for Tina Turner, especially her song The Beast which brought him back to his childhood and the carefree days when he and Harry listened to the song while at the backseat of their mom’s car who adored Turner and her music.
“When I was younger, Harry and I, we were at boarding school. My mother used to play all sorts of songs to kind of while away the anxiety of going back to school,” Prince William said.
“And one of the songs I massively remember and has stuck with me all this time, and I still, to this day, still quite enjoy secretly, is Tina Turner’s ‘The Best’ because sitting in the backseat, singing away, it felt like a real family moment.”

“My mother, she’d be driving along, singing at the top of her voice. And we’d even get the policeman in the car; he’d be occasionally singing along as well.”
The future king added: “You’d be singing and listening to the music right the way out into the gates of school when they dropped you off. When I listen to it now, it takes me back to those car rides and brings back lots of memories of my mother.”
This was just one of the many times William shared fond memories from the time his mom was still alive.

Late Princess Diana was the perfect mother to her boys and often took them places. Once, she tired to sneak them out and take them to a fast food restaurant, canceling the lunch at the Palace.
“I remember the princess came into the kitchen one day and said, ‘Cancel lunch for the boys, I’m taking them out, we’re going to McDonald’s,” Diana’s former personal chef Darren McGrady told Marie Claire.
“And I said, ‘Oh my God – your Royal Highness, I can do that, I can do burgers.’ And she said, ‘No, it’s the toy they want.’”
