3-year-old girl wakes up at her own funeral, rushed to hospital but dies again

Camila Roxana Martinez Mendoza was just three years old when she started experiencing stomach pain, vomiting, and fever. Her parents got really worried and rushed to a pediatrician in her hometown of Villa de Ramos without wasting time. However, the pediatrician believed Camila’s case could be more severe than it looked like so they advised the parents to take their daughter to a hospital at the central state of Mexico; San Luis Potosí.

There, Camila was prescribed paracetamol as doctors tried to lower her body temperature by placing a cold towel on her lower body. At the same time, she was placed an oximetar to check on her oxygen levels.

Sadly, her condition didn’t improve much, so her parents sought a second opinion from a doctor at another hospital. Camila was prescribed more medications and her mom, Mary Jane, was told to give her daughter more fruits and vegetables. As this didn’t help either, Camila was then taken to the Salinas hospital between 9 and 10 p.m. where she was urgently hospitalized.

“They wanted to give her (intravenous therapy). They took a long time to put oxygen on her. They didn’t put it on her because they couldn’t find her little veins; finally, a nurse managed it,” the mom told the Daily Mail. Once they removed the IV drip, Camila was taken to another room to rest and her mom wasn’t allowed in to be with her daughter although she insisted to be let inside the room.

“She still was hugging me, they took her away and told me, ‘You have to let her rest in peace,’” Mary Jane recalled.

Not much time had spent when the doctor got out and told the parents the most devastating news. Their girl died and the reason why was dehydration. Their world crushed into a million pieces.

On the day of Camila’s funeral, the family noticed that the glass window of the coffin started fogging up and her grandma insisted they opened it up. Once they did so, they saw Camila moving her eyes and having a puls. The girl was rushed to the hospital where they tired to revive her, but she was once again pronounced dead, with cerebral edema listed as the cause of her death.

“That was really where my baby was done. We are devastated because my girl was a very happy person, she got along with everyone, she didn’t single anyone out. We have many people on the ranch who support us because she was cherished,” her mom said.

Her first death certificate stated the cause of death as just dehydration, while the second one listed it as dehydration along with cerebral edema and metabolic failure.

“What I really want is for justice to be served. I have no grudge against the doctors [who] went to extreme [measures],” her grieving mother told NY Post. “I only ask that the doctors, nurses and directors be changed so that it does not happen again,” she finished.

San Luis Potosí State Attorney General Jose Luis Ruiz is looking into the case asthe family is waiting for the results of the autopsy to be revealed.

We can’t even imagine what it might have felt like for these parents to lose their daughter twice. May she rest in peace.

Johnny Depp’s reaction to seven-minute standing ovation for his new movie is melting hearts everywhere

Johnny Depp, the heartthrob the world has fallen for over and over again, was given a rousing seven-minute standing ovation at the opening night screening of Jeanne Du Barry at Cannes 2023. As he walked down the red carpet, fans screamed his name and a woman broke down in tears in order to gather his attention.

Jeanne Du Barry, in which he stars as the former King of France Louis XV, has been the actor’s first film project since a defamation trial with his ex-wife Amber Heard which took place last summer. Their high-profile court battle was a nasty one and all manner of private affairs were aired for the world to see.

Depp won the case, and after losing millions of dollars and a lot of time out of work, he’s finally back, to the delight of his millions of fans.

His presence at the festival was a much-debated topic as many critics fiercely condemned his appearance at Cannes, to the extent that festival director Thierry Fremaux felt compelled to issue a response ahead of the opening night.

“I don’t know about the image of Johnny Depp in the US.

“To tell you the truth, in my life, I only have one rule: It’s the freedom of thinking, and the freedom of speech and acting within a legal framework.

“If Johnny Depp had been banned from acting in a film, or the film was banned, we wouldn’t be here talking about it.”

Fremaux went on: “This [controversy] came up once the film was announced at Cannes because everybody knew Johnny had made a film in France. I don’t know why she chose him but it’s a question you should ask Maiwenn. As for the rest, I’m the last person to be able to discuss all this.

“If there’s one person in this world who didn’t find the least interest in this very publicised trial, it’s me.

“I don’t know what it’s about. I also care about Johnny Depp as an actor.”

At the press conference for the film at Cannes, Depp said that “the majority of what you have been reading the last four or five years…with regard to me and my life what you’ve read is fantastically, horrifically written fiction.

“The focus should simply be on that fact it’s a miracle to get a film made that you care about in the first place,” he said. “You win right there.”

Several footage from the premiere emerged which show Depp overcome with emotions at the reaction of the fans and the standing ovation. He could be seen shedding tears and holding his hands to his face before hugging the director, Maïwenn.

Besides the success of the premiere, Depp has also signed a contract with Dior worth $20 million.

One thing about Johnny Depp is that there is no actor more versatile than he is, and the world of film is certainly happy to have him back.

King Charles left out an important word for Archie & Lilibet’s title announcement

The passing of Queen Elizabeth meant that her son, King Charles III acceded the throne and Britain witnessed a coronation taking place after over 70 years. However, the loss of the Queen has also brought some significant changes withing the royal family.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s children, Archie and Lilibet Diana, received the titles of Prince and Princess. This came as a surprise to many as one of the reason for the Sussex’s departure from the Firm was that they wanted to lead a more quieter lives. At the same time, they believed that these titles could be a burden to their children, but then they changed their mind.

The announcement about the new titles came shortly after Lili’s christening, and according to Harry and Meghan, this is their children’s birthright.

“The children’s titles have been a birthright since their grandfather became monarch. This matter has been settled for some time in alignment with Buckingham Palace,” a spokesman for the couple said.

The Royal Family’s website has been updated accordingly, and Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor were listed as Prince and Princess in the line of succession.

Many have been left puzzled as to why Archie and Lilibet got to receive the titles of Prince and Princess, but the explanation is in fact a very simple one.

In 1917, George V created the rules that are still in place today. He decided that the children of the sons of any Sovereign “shall have and at all times hold and enjoy the style title or attribute of Royal Highness with their titular dignity of Prince or Princess prefixed to their respective Christian names or with their other titles of honor.” So, when the Queen passed and King Charles became the monarch, Archie and Lilibet became eligible for their own royal titles.

“It wasn’t clear if they would use them or not since Harry and Meghan have left the family as working royals and headed to the States,” TalkTV Royal Editor Sarah Hewson told Sky. “We understand discussions took place after the Queen’s funeral and it has been agreed that they will be known formally as prince and princess – although Harry and Meghan won’t be using it in everyday life.”

The decision to accept the titles for their children, which are their birth right, wasn’t embraced by everyone.

Royal expert Angela Levin argued that it might have an unwanted impact on Archie and Lilibet’s futures.

“It will take a long time for little Lilibet to realise the extent of the burden her parents have placed on her young shoulders,” Levin told Sky News. She added that by giving their daughter a princess title, Harry and Meghan have now “glued her to the British Royal Family,” the same establishment they have criticized for many years.

“Why on earth would you want your daughter to experience such anguish?” Angela Levin said, adding that Lilibet’s everyday life will be more challenging since she has the princess title attached to her name.”

“Little girls obviously love being a princess at parties, but if Lilibet is the only one in the class who is a real princess, it could lead to jealousy that could easily be avoided,” the royal expert concluded.

Others believe that Harry and Meghan could benefit financially from their children’s titles.

“You wouldn’t be wrong if you look at this and think about the branding,” Sarah Hewson said. “When they said they wanted to distance themselves from the family, they wanted to have a private life, when Archie was born, I remember vividly being told they wanted him to be Master Archie, now he is Prince, and Lilibet is Princess,” Hewson added.

Mere days after Lilibet and Archie’s titles were officially added to the Buckingham Palace website, King Charles announced another big change within the Royal Family.

Prince Edward, his youngest brother, who held the titled the Earl of Wessex, was honored with a new title: the Duke of Edinburgh.

A palace statement said: “His Majesty the King has been pleased to confer the Dukedom of Edinburgh upon the Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and Forfar, on the occasion of His Royal Highness’s 59th birthday. The title will be held by Prince Edward for His Royal Highness’s lifetime.”

“The Dukedom was last created for Prince Philip in 1947, upon his marriage to Princess Elizabeth, who held the title of Duchess of Edinburgh before acceding to the throne in 1952. The new Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are proud to continue Prince Philip’s legacy of promoting opportunities for young people of all backgrounds to reach their full potential.”

What experts noticed was that the contrast between the announcements regarding the new titles given to Harry and Meghan’s children and that to Prince Edward was ‘stark.’

“The contrast between the way in which Harry and Meghan released the news of their children’s royal titles and the way King Charles announced his brother’s ennoblement was stark,” Seward told the Mirror.

“King Charles issued a formal statement from Buckingham Palace to say he was ‘pleased’ to confer the Dukedom of Edinburgh upon The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and Forfar,” the royal expert added. “It was such a grand announcement it felt as if it were in a gilded frame pinned to the Buckingham Palace railings.”

In a shocking transformation, Amy Adams is layered with fur and a few extra pounds for her role as a bloodthirsty hound

Charming and versatile, Amy Adams is a household name we all adore. It’s safe to say that with a career as rich as hers, she’s somewhere on the top of the list of most wanted actresses of Hollywood.

From playing a princess in Enchanted, to roles such as that of a drug-addict mother in Hillbilly Elegy and a bloodthirsty hound in her most recent project Nightbitch, Adams has done it all.

Adams, who has been enchanting audiences ever since her debut in the dark comedy film, Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999), has stunned fans yet again when photos of the filming of Nightbitch emerged recently.

In this film, which is an adaptation of the 2021 novel of the same name by Rachel Yoder, she plays a former artist who’s disillusioned with her new life as a suburban stay-at-home mom. Alienated from her husband and having to take care of her hyperactive son, the character starts to morph into a predatory dog because as the frustration in her grows, her inner animal emerges.

For the sake of the filming, Adams needed to undergo physical changes, of course, more of which are related to adding and using prosthetic parts and make up, such as sharper canines, a tail, and a tuft of fur on the nape of her neck.

However, as photos from the set emerged online, not Adams’ appearance of a furry creature caught all the attention. In fact, what people talked about was the actress’ extra pounds which have been visibly noticed in a casual photo of her on which she’s seen wearing a grey shirt and has her red hair in a ponytail.

It’s not certain whether the six-time Oscar nominee has gained some weight for the sake of the role or she’s wearing a body suit, which is exactly what one fan claimed. “It’s a role she’s playing this is a body suit,”he wrote. Others also stood by Adams’ side and wrote that she looks gorgeous with or without extra few pound on. “Great actor in any shape,” one person commented. “She’s gorgeous,” another added.

For her role of Bev, a backwoods mother struggling with drug addiction, in Hillbilly Elegy, Adams used a wig and prosthetics, and in one of her earliest films, Catch Me if you Can (2002), she wore dental prosthetics.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Adams explained that she needed to put around 12 to 15 pounds on for the filming of Vice, and the same happened when she starred in Julie & Julia.

Adams confessed that unlike the weight-obsessed character she played in the TV series Smallville, she doesn’t stresses over her weight in real life. “I think the more people are concerned with me, the less they can invest in my characters,” Adams said in an interview with Daily Mail.

Speaking of her 12-year-old daughter Aviana, whom she shares with husband Darren Le Gallo, Adams explained, “I tend to wear very little makeup at home because when my daughter was even younger she saw me putting on makeup and she said, ‘You look like Amy Adams when you do that–I just want you to be Mom.’ So I said, ‘You got it, honey’…When I was getting made up, she felt that was somehow attached to another part of my life and she just wanted me.”

Florida mom gives birth to rare set of identical twins with Down syndrome

Identical twins are a miracle all by themselves. Births like this happen three or four times in 1000.

Savannah Combs, a first time mother, learned she was carrying twins. She and her husband were overjoyed by the thought of welcoming two babies.

Everything went well with the pregnancy and the couple learned they were expecting girls. However, they also learned that their identical twins both had Down Syndrome. The news came as a shock at first, but Savannah, 23, soon realized that the condition only meant that her girls would be super special. She didn’t mind they would be born with the syndrome. Of course, she was aware that there would be people who wouldn’t accept her bundles of joy, but that didn’t concern her a great deal.

“It’s very rare what they have, but they’ve been my little gems,” the proud mother told News4JAX.

Once the girls were born, Savannah and her husband Justin decided to share their journey on TikTok. The two tiny beauties, Kennadi Rue and Mckenli gained a number of followers on the social media where Savannah posted about each of the milestones they reached.

In one of the videos she shared on TikTok, Savannah revealed how doctors advised her to terminate her pregnancy because the chances of her girls to survive were slim, but she decided to give them a fighting chance. As it turned out, she did the right thing. ”Every [prenatal] appointment they were alive was a blessing to me,” Savannah explained.

They were born five weeks prematurely and had to spend some time at the NICU. Today, they are nine months old and thriving. In fact, they are just like any other baby out there.

“They’re called mono di twins, meaning that they had their own sacs, but they shared the same placenta, meaning that they were going to be identical,” Savannah explained.

“Mo di twins as it is, it’s like very rare. And then you throw Down syndrome on top of it, it’s like one in 2 million.”

“They have feelings. They have a beating heart. They know how to talk. They know how to do things you do. They will get there,” she added. “Like I said, it may be a step behind but they’re going to do it. I’ve learned these kids are feisty little things and happy little things.”

She loves showing the world that having Down Syndrome doesn’t necessarily mean the life of those people is in any way affected negatively.

“I’m going to let them know that they’re just like us and they’re going to get there as long as they put their minds to it.”

Of course, there are always those who post negative comments and judge Savannah for keeping her babies.

”I wouldn’t want those babies; if mine came out like that, they would be straight up for adoption,” one person wrote under one of the videos. However, this mother had just the right answer for the mean person. “I said, good thing they weren’t born to you and were born to me. God knew what he was doing by giving these babies to the right parents who would love them regardless,” Savannah replied.

These girls are truly happy for having a mom like Savannah who wants to raise awareness about Down Syndrome and teach the world that those who have it can lead a happy and fulfilling lives, just like her two beautiful angels.

Riley Keough shares emotional Mother’s Day tribute for late mom Lisa Marie Presley

The passing of Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of ‘The King of Rock and Roll,’ Elvis Presley, shocked millions.

Her life was cut short at the age of 54. The singer-songwriter suffered cardiac arrest on January 12, after she was transferred to the hospital where she was placed in induced coma. Unfortunately, she didn’t make it.

The news of her tragic passing was shared by her mother Priscilla Presley. “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla said in a statement. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”

Presley’s three daughters have been left devastated by their mother’s loss, and now her eldest daughter, actress Riley Keough, paid lovely tribute to her late mother in the most touching way imaginable.

Riley shared an old photo of Lisa Marie posing next to Riley’s father while holding baby Riley in her arms.

“Lucky to have had the best and most deeply loving mama I could have asked for,” Riley wrote in the caption.

This was the first Mother’s Day that Riley, who is now also a mother herself, spent without her mom.

Riley and husband Ben Smith-Petersen welcomed their first child in 2022.

Previously, Riley paid tribute to her late mother on the day Lisa Marie was laid to rest at Graceland next to her late father, Elvis Presley, and her son Benjamin Keough who died of suicide in 2020. Peterson shared Riley’s words on her behalf and said, “I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters. Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, my temper, my wildness, my tenacity. I’m a product of your heart, my sisters are a product of your heart, my brother is a product of your heart.”

Riley and Ben have been married since 2014. The couple met during the filming of Mad Max: Furry Road.

Newborn baby refuses to eat, days later family discovers the horrifying truth

Welcoming a new addition to the family is a blessing. Mom and dads out there put a lot of effort to prepare everything in advance, so when the bundle of joy arrives, they use their time looking after the little one.

Bathany Taylor and her husband Kendall were no exception. They were both eagerly waiting their daughter to be born, and when that moment finally arrived, they were overjoyed.

Baby Jane was born perfectly healthy and they were quickly discharged from the hospital. However, once home, sweet Jane refused to nurse and the parents knew something was wrong so they took her to the emergency room. Doctors weren’t able to detect anything wrong, so the family was sent home.

When they arrived home, they all experienced severe headaches, and that’s when they started suspecting on gas poisoning.

After they returned to the hospital again, Jane was indeed diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning caused by a leaking gas heater in the apartment.

“I couldn’t believe this was happening to my new, brand new little baby and I was so worried about what was going to happen with her,” the mom told Faith Tap.

The baby, along with her mom, was immediately place in a hyperbaric chamber for treatment.

“She was just like a baby again. She cried, she responded to her mom. She was very hungry when she came out of the chamber,” Dr James Stewart shared.

Bathany and Kendall then asked from the state to change the law regarding carbon monoxide detectors and asked from every landlord to install one in their house or apartment.

Luckily, this family didn’t suffer any serious consequences because they react quickly and everything turned out just fine.

Kate Middleton’s concerning 4-word warning to William before coronation revealed by lip reader

The coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, which took place on May 6, 2023, is still a much discussed topic.

A lot of effort had been put for the entire event to be impeccable, and the truth is that it indeed was a mesmerizing ceremony which went smoothly as planned to the delight of the millions of Britons who turned in to watch history being made.

King Charles and Queen Camilla left Buckingham Palace in the legendary Gold State Coach which was constructed in 1762 and was used for the first time by King George III to travel to the State Opening of Parliament the same year. It has been used at every coronation since King William IV’s coronation in 1831.

At the coronation, Charles and Camilla arrived five minutes earlier and had to wait for William and Kate inside the carriage.

As per royal biographer Omid Scobie, the delay concerned William and Kate’s children.

“The room for error was nil. And thankfully, due to the weeks of rehearsals that the royals took part in ahead of the coronation, the day went ahead smoothly,” Scobie wrote in Harper’s Bazaar.

“In fact, apart from Prince William and Princess Kate joining the procession late (children were to blame, a source tells me), and Camilla’s ladies in attendance – sister Annabel Elliot, and queen’s companion the Marchioness of Lansdowne – accidentally creating an unfortunate wedgie moment out of her silk Bruce Oldfield dress on the way into the Abbey, very few hitches took place.”

When the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived at the Abbey, all eyes were on them.

While William wore the ceremonial dress uniform of the Welsh guards, his stunning wife was dressed in an official robe that she wore over an Alexander McQueen ivory silk dress decorated with silver bullion embroidered roses, thistles, daffodils, and shamrock motifs, intended to symbolize the different nations of the United Kingdom, CNN reported.

As the two were getting ready to enter the Abbey, the cameras caught the pair talking. According to lip-reader Jeremy Freeman, who spoke exclusively to the Daily Star, Kate told William to “just mind the gown,” to what he replied: “Don’t worry I got [or caught] it.”

The couple’s children were also in attendance, with their oldest son, Prince George, serving as a Page of Honor.

Performing this significant role, George was about to wear unique clothing with a significant meaning. He, however, decided to approach his grandfather prior to the coronation and ask from him to change the centuries-old uniform usually worn by the Pages of Honor. The reason why is quite sad to be honest. George didn’t want to be teased by his classmates.

“George, one of four pages assisting the monarch, voiced his concerns about having to wear white knee breeches,” the Mail reported. Also, he wasn’t fond of wearing tights because of possible “ribaldry at school.”

The King agreed. And this didn’t come as a surprise because as much as he respects tradition, Charles also wants to modernize the monarchy, as well as slim it down.

As of the youngest Prince in attendance, Prince Louis, it has been reported that he was his mother’s “biggest worry” for the historic day.

Body language expert Adrianne Carter, who is known as the “Face Whisperer,” spoke to the Daily Star and revealed the Princess of Wales looked at her youngest son ‘nervously’ as she was trying to warn him ‘to be on his best behavior.’

“Louis is starting to fidget,” Carter commented. “We see Kate have a chat with him, looks like she’s explaining what’s going on. Charlotte also showed a bit of restlessness too but as she’s older she’s able to contain it better.”

Further, the expert revealed that Kate used tricks to keep her children in line.

“Kate could be seen keeping a very subtle eye on Louis during the ceremony and offering him motivational ‘reward’ touches of affection when he did something right.

“Louis and Charlotte’s signals of total absorption and determination with the archery was exactly how William and Kate throw themselves into anything sporty or competitive during their royal appearances.”

Before the coronation took place, the royals attended rehearsals because they wanted to make sure nothing would go wrong on the day Britain hadn’t witnessed since late Queen Elizabeth’s coronation, which took place some 70 years ago.

Celine Dion finally reveals her health problems in an emotional video, and she needs our prayers

Magazines have been covering the topic of Céline Dion’s health ever since the singer appeared to have lost significant amount of weight. Her fans shared their concerns saying she no longer resembles her old self.

She, on the other hand, said she should be left alone. Speaking to The Sun during the past period, the Canadian-born singer sent a message to those criticizing her looks, “If I like it, I don’t want to talk about it. Don’t bother. Don’t take a picture. If you like it, I’ll be there. If you don’t, leave me alone.”

Recently, however, it was reported by a representative of hers that Dion suffers from muscle spasm, something that affects her ability to be on stage. As a result, along with the pandemic which affected the course of many people’s lives, Dion was forced to cancel several concert dates in Las Vegas, first in November of last year, and then from January 19 to February 5, 2022.

“Celine has been experiencing severe and persistent muscle spasms which are preventing her from performing,” the statement read.

“Her medical team continues to evaluate and treat her. However, the symptoms she is experiencing are prohibiting her from participating in the ongoing rehearsals for the new show.”

The singer herself took to Instagram to share her heartbreak over the delayed concert dates and the health issues she has been experiencing.

“Hello, everyone. I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to reach out to you. I miss you all so much and I can’t wait to be on stage talking to you in person,” Dion said in the video.

“As you know, I’ve always been an open book and I wasn’t ready to say anything before, but I’m ready now. I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time and it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through.

“Recently, I’ve been diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder called the stiff-person syndrome, which affects something like one in a million people. While we’re still learning about this rare condition, we now know this is what’s been causing all of the spasms that I’ve been having. Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal chords to sing the way I’m used to.”

“I’m working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again, but I have to admit it’s been a struggle,” she said. “All I know is singing. It’s what I’ve done all my life and it’s what I love to do the most.

“I miss you so much. I miss seeing all of you, being on the stage performing for you. I always give a hundred percent when I do my shows, but my condition is now allowing me to give you that right now,” she continued.

Dion concluded the video saying: “I want to thank you so much for your encouraging wishes and love and support on my social media. This means a lot to me.

“Take care of yourselves. Be well. I love you guys so much and I really hope I can see you again real soon.”

Dion has a history with Las Vegas, the place she feels like home. Her story with the “Sin City” dates back to 2003, when she began a four-year Las Vegas residency which turned to be a huge success, grossing over $385 million.

Some years later, Dion returned to the Las Vegas stage for a residency at Ceasar’s Palace and broke the world record with her 1,141 performances, according to Billboard.

At the same time, she holds the records for the two best-selling residencies of all time.

With the health issues she’s been facing, Dion announced that her tour would begin in May 2022, but the shows have now been pushed back even further. At the same time, she delayed her Las Vegas residency.

The two previous Las Vegas residencies alone earned her $680 million. Her net worth is reported to be around $800 million – and in 2019, she made $37 million.

Not being on stage affected the singer’s income as she has been reported to have lost around $70 million of revenue, based on her earnings for the Celine residency show.

Besides that, she’s happy that her time off allowed her to be around her children more.

Two years after funeral, a grieving man spots his wife and son

Chester and Amy were a couple, and once she fell pregnant, they decided to tie the knot. Their life seemed picture perfect, but when little Max was born, Chester started working late hours with the excuse that he was doing that for the sake of the family.

Time passed by, and Chester was absent from home more and more. He found little time for his wife and children and although that bothered Amy, there was nothing she could do.

One day, Amy told Chester that she and Max would go visit her mother. She packed their bags and left the house. Some time later, Chester got a call from Amy’s mom. He picked up the phone never assuming that the news he was about to hear would crash his world.

“Chester! Chester! You need to come here right now!” Amy’s mom said over the phone. Chester asked if there was something wrong, to what she replied: “Amy and Max… They died. Their car crashed before they could reach my house.”

Chester was left in complete shock. He rushed to book a flight, but every airline was sold out. When he finally arrived to where Amy’s mother lived, she told him that Amy and Max were cremated.

Chester was grieving for some time, but he then decided it was time to move on and invited a woman named Cynthia to move in with him. In fact, Cynthia was his lover. When he was telling his wife that he was working late, he was in fact with his mistress.

But Cynthia wasn’t like Amy. For her, it was all about having fun and going out. She clearly told Chester that she didn’t want a family because she didn’t want to be a mother, ever.

One day, she decided to take Chester to a trip, and she chose the city where Amy’s mother lived. He told her that it would be a painful experience, but Cynthia insisted. “Oh, come on, sweetheart,” she told him. “I won’t give you any time or space to dwell on the past. Let’s get together and have a blast!”

After two days at the city, Cynthia started feeling unwell. Chester got worried and took her to the hospital. While waiting, he decided to take a walk and that’s when he experienced the shock of a lifetime. He spotted a woman resembling his late wife. But how could it be? Still, he decided to call Amy’s name and that’s when the woman turned around. It was Amy, and Chester couldn’t believe his eyes.

He was totally stunned. That’s when Amy told him that she faked her death because one day, a woman came to the house and told her she was his lover. She also claimed she was carrying his child. It was Cynthia.

Amy said that she tried confronting him, but he was never home and he never had time to talk.

Amy remarried and had another child. As he was talking to her, Cynthia called him and told him she felt unwell because she was pregnant, but she didn’t want the child.

She ruined his life and she now wanted to abort the baby. Chester was crushed. He knew he made a mistake when he got involved with this woman, but it was already to late for anything to be fixed.

He decided to leave Cynthia and return to his hometown all by himself.

This story teaches us that we should always put our family first.

Mountain lion was locked up for 20 long years, now watch his reaction when he’s released

Life in captivity is the worst form of living because every living creature, whether an animal or a human, is meant to be free. Unfortunately, stories of animals who end up spending their lives chained and never get to experience freedom are something we stumble upon way too often.

A mountain lion named Mufasa who ended up at a circus in Peru went through hell after he was forced to spend his days chained up in the back of a pick up truck for 20 years.

Circus animals are often neglected and abused, and Mufasa wasn’t an exception.

Luckily, his suffering came to an end thanks to the animal rights organization Animal Defenders International (ADI)who did all in their power to put an end to Mufasa’s struggles and give him new lease of life.

ADI, founded in 1990 with offices worldwide, runs education and awareness campaigns to protect animals in captivity and the wild. Their work targets animal use in entertainment, sport, fashion, research, and illegal trade. ADI also partners with governments on major rescues and operates a sanctuary in South Africa for nearly 40 ex-circus lions and tigers from Latin America.

When they rescued Mufasa, their goal was in fact to shut the circus down and that’s when they discovered the poor animal.

Taking him out of the circus wasn’t easy, but they succeeded.

Mufasa got to live the way he was always meant to. He experienced freedom and enjoyed the nature, but sadly, his happiness was short-lived. This beautiful lion died of kidney failure just months after he was rescued, but at least he spent his final days as a free animal and got to experience what it meant to be loved and cared for.

No animal deserves to be treated the way Mufasa was. May he rest in peace.

The video about Mufasa triggered many comments from people who condemned the existence of circuses, the places where most animals are treated with cruelty and we people still visit them.

Stop Circus Suffering is ADI’s worldwide campaign to end animal use in circuses. Their investigations have helped shape laws, including Bolivia’s full ban on circus animals, with Colombia and Peru considering similar measures. In the UK, ADI continues to press DEFRA to fulfill its pledge to ban non-domesticated animals in traveling circuses.

However, despite their attempts, it is obvious that we have a long way to go before circuses stop mistreating poor animals whose place belongs in the wild and their natural habitat.

“People, please never ever, ever go to a circus. These are majestic animals and deserve better treatment. Thank you for saving him so he didn’t have to pass away chained in a back of a circus truck or performing,” one person commented under the touching video of Mufasa’s life story.

Another added: “This hurts my heart so much. I wish I was able to help all the suffering animals out there. God bless those who do.” A third person commented, “Sadly a month after released into the sactuary, he passed away due to old age and kidney damage. But damn it, he got to spend a month free from chains and truck fumes! He probably died happy! RIP Mufasa. You are now free to cross that rainbow bridge!”

Someone else added: “20 years in cage and chained…words can’t describe how I feel about it. Rest in peace Mufasa <3 And thank you for saving his life even when you knew he was old, you still put energy on him, God bless you all and all animal lovers around the world, I love you all <3.”

Unraveling the mysteries of these ‘human-sized’ flying wonders

This Earth is the home of a huge number of species, each of which more fascinating than the other.

Among the creatures who are worth writing about because of their unique yet scary appearance are the golden-crowned bats that are native to the Philippines.

Regardless of their intimidating size and a wingspan of roughly 5-foot-6, these bats are harmless for the humans and feed on fruits and roots. Although they are dubbed ‘human-sized,’ their bodies range in size from seven inches to 11.4 inches and they weigh less than 3 pounds, which makes them one of the largest species of bats in the entire world.

The golden-crowned bats live in colonies of around 10,000 and are nocturnal creatures who love figs. As such, they contribute to reforestation throughout the Philippines as they spread fig seeds after eating them.

These stunning bats use sight and scent to find their way through the air unlike many others who use eco-location instead.

Unfortunately, the work these bats do is largely prevented by humans who kill them for sport and for their meat. Also, their natural habitat is being destroyed more and more, with statistics showing that over 90% of the old-growth forests in the Philippines being destroyed. As per Bat Conservation International (BCI), this lead to a number of species to have vanished from many of its former roosting locations on numerous islands.

Due to their hunting, the number of golden-crowned bats has dropped to 50 per cent between 1986 and 2016, which makes them endangered species listed on The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

In the Philippines, bats are protected with the Philippine Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act of 200, which sadly, is not upheld.

These bats, as well as various other species, are brutally mass-killed, most times while roosting, which leaves them still holding the branch with their toes after being shot and killed.

Despite this, it seems they are not afraid of humans and get close to inhabited areas.

What is even more interesting about these bats is that they share the intelligence of dogs and possess the ability to learn. Their memory is fascinating, to say the least.

An experiment involving bats raised by humans shows exactly that. Namely, they were taught to pull levers in exchange for juice rewards. Some three and a half years later, when these bats were taken to the comfortable experimental chamber, the first thing they did was to pull the levers because they knew they would get rewarded.

Although they look creepy, these animals are quite cute. The fact they are slathered is devastating.

Al Roker’s latest health update and the surgery after months of major health crisis

After facing several health issues during the last couple of months, things turned rocky for our favorite weatherman, Al Roker.

Initially, he was admitted to hospital because of blood clots, but he was then forced to return to the hospital again, updating his fans of his health state.

Following weeks of treatments, he was able to return to the Today show, but that didn’t last long as he experienced yet another health scare.

“I had two complicating things. I had blood clots that they think came up after I had COVID in September and I had this internal bleeding going on,” Roker shared. He then added: “I lost almost half my blood.”

Talking to his Today co-hosts, Roker revealed he suffered internal bleeding and required surgery.

“I went into for one operation, I got four free.”

On Tuesday, Rocker underwent a total knee replacement surgery and is now in the process of recovery.

As always, he posted a video of himself and assured his fans that he was doing fine. The caption of the video read: “Up and walking this morning on the [new knee] [step by step].” He then expressed his gratitude to the doctors and added that he was “wearing a negative pressure pump to help facilitate wound healing.”

One person who has been by Rocker’s side during his ordeals is his wife Dorah Roberts, an ABC News journalist.

Sharing a slideshow of photos of each time she has accompanied him to the hospital throughout the years, the weatherman wrote, “I’m thinking [Roberts] and I have GOT to stop meeting like this,” to which she replied with: “Yes. And we will.”

Roberts also posted about her husband and shared photos of his latest hospital stint. “Wednesday wonder. Part 2 of health journey for my sweet [Roker],” she wrote on Instagram. “So grateful for [the] talented medical team who got him back on his feet with a new knee and new sense of confidence after such a major challenge. Moving forward with [grit, gratitude, and grace]. Humbled by all the good wishes and [prayer] and the blessing of good [health care].”

Roker and Roberts have been married since 1995 and share two children together.

She opened up of her husband’s health state and how it affected the family. “My whole family, after the crisis subsided, we almost collapsed,” she explained. “We didn’t realize the adrenaline rush of running and gunning every day to look after him. I didn’t appreciate how tough it was until the fog had started to clear and the dust was starting to settle. That’s when I realized how hard it was. Get it done, get him well, take care of him: That was my goal.”

As of Al Roker, regardless of the difficulties he has experienced lately, he doesn’t plan on slowing down and is eager to return to his show. What’s most, he’s even ‘more passionate’ about work than ever.

We are glad Rocker is back on his feet and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Kate Middleton reveals her cute nickname for youngest son Prince Louis

One of the guests who are said to have stolen the show during the historic coronation which took place on May 6 is the youngest Prince, Louis.

Being that young and attending such a significant even gave his mom a ‘hard time,’ especially because he has been seen misbehaving in the past, which is not surprising as he’s still just a child like any other.

During the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, all eyes were on Louis who could be seen making goofy gestures, covering his mom’s mouth, and even poking his tongue out in her face.

When his great-grandmother died, Louis didn’t attend the funeral because he was deemed too young for such an occasion.

However, he did attend the crowning of his grandfather and accompanied his parents and his sister in the procession to and from Westminster Abbey. Prince Louis behaved extremely-well during the entire time though he was said to have been his mother’s “biggest worry” for the historic day.

Body language expert Adrianne Carter, who is known as the “Face Whisperer,” spoke to the Daily Star and revealed the Princess of Wales looked at her youngest son ‘nervously’ as she was trying to warn him ‘to be on his best behavior.’

“Louis is starting to fidget,” Carter commented. “We see Kate have a chat with him, looks like she’s explaining what’s going on. Charlotte also showed a bit of restlessness too but as she’s older she’s able to contain it better.”

Further, the expert revealed that Kate used tricks to keep her children in line.

“Kate could be seen keeping a very subtle eye on Louis during the ceremony and offering him motivational ‘reward’ touches of affection when he did something right.

“Louis and Charlotte’s signals of total absorption and determination with the archery was exactly how William and Kate throw themselves into anything sporty or competitive during their royal appearances.”

Another expert, Judi James, added: “William and Kate showed they clearly understand the need for all their children to learn to enjoy royal events rather than to dread them by seeing them as a chore, bore, or challenge to get through.”

During “The Big Help Out,” when Britons gather to volunteer in their communities, the royal family could be seen enjoying several activities such as archery and digging at a scout hut in Slough.

Princess Charlotte was pictured painting, while George drove a digger as he sat in his father’s lap.

As Kate, William, and their children were about to eat marshmallows cooked over an open fire, Kate revealed her nickname for Louis.

“Pop that on the fire, Lou-bugs!” she could be heard saying.

It is a well-known fact that each member of the Firm has a nickname. Late Queen Elizabeth was called Lilibet by her family because she couldn’t pronounce her name when she was a very young child. Harry was reported to call Kate Middleton ‘Cath,’ and his brother William, ‘Willy.’

As of the nickname his children gave to William, it was revealed by British TV chef Ainsley Harriott that the kids came up with it after listening to a radio interview he had done during which he jokingly spoke about cooking a fish in the bathtub.

“Greg asked, ‘could you cook a fish in the bath?’” Harriott recalled in an interview with The Sun. “I said, ‘yeah, if it’s a little bit of seabass or plaice or something like that.’ You wouldn’t want a thick bit of fish because it wouldn’t poach.

“Anyway, apparently, Prince William and Kate were taking George and Charlotte to school, and they found it hysterical.”

Prince Louise truly is a lovely boy adored by every Briton out there.

Little Braylee’s story shows how life-changing an organ donation can be

Parents-to-be only have one wish, for their little baby to be welcomed into the world healthy. Sadly, that’s not always the case.

When little Braylee was born, her parents, Amanda and Justin, were over the moon. The sweet girl seemed to be perfectly healthy and they thanked God for that. But then, just a couple of months after their baby daughter got into their arms, she got sick.

Speaking of the first signs that raised a red flag about the girl’s well being, Amanda recalls how Braylee’s skin turned yellowish all of a sudden.

Then, back in February, 2016, the girl was taken to hospital where doctors ran many tests and determined Braylee had a rare liver disease called biliary atresia. This is a condition in infants in which the bile ducts outside and inside the liver are scarred and blocked so bile can’t flow into the intestine. Instead, it builds up in the liver and damages it.

Amanda and Justin were told how Braylee’s condition was critical and she had to undergo a surgery where they would connect her liver to her intestines. Sadly, the surgery wasn’t a successful one and the little girl’s condition remained as serious as before.

Eventually, Braylee’s belly bloated and reached the size of a ballon. The parents were told that a liver transplant had to be performed as soon as possible, but there was no emergency donor available.

It was then that Justin asked from the doctors to run tests and see whether he could be a match. He was aware he was putting his health at risk, but he didn’t care if that meant it could save his girl’s life.

As Justin was getting ready for the procedure, doctor came with some news. They found a donor and Justin didn’t have to give a part of his liver to Braylee. The girl, along with another baby, were about to get the organ from a deceased donor.

Now, all that these parents had to do was pray to God for everything to turn out for the best for their little one. Luckily, the surgery went well and was successful.

As time passed by, Braylee started feeling better and better and she’s now a completely healthy young lady with the most bubbly personality.

We are so glad Braylee’s story had a happy ending. This only speaks of the importance of organ donation and how it can change someone’s life. Organ donors are very special people. They are angels who continue to live through other people even after their death.

Lip reader reveals King Charles’ harsh words to Camilla in coronation carriage

Following the glorious coronation which was watched by over 20 million Britons, King Charles and Queen Camilla are back to their royal duties of serving the country.

The crowning was planned for quite some time and everyone was heavily involved in the organization, which was impeccable. The entire family, including the King and the Queen themselves, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children, attended rehearsals in order to make sure the big day would go as smoothly as planned.

“Their Royal Highnesses, The Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales, and Prince Louis of Wales, arrive at the Great West Door and are conducted to their seats in the Lantern. All remain seated. Their Majesties The King and The Queen arrive at the West Gate. A fanfare is sounded. All stand,” the official planned order of service issued by Buckingham Palace read.

King Charles and Queen Camilla left Buckingham Palace in the legendary Gold State Coach which was constructed in 1762 and was used for the first time by King George III to travel to the State Opening of Parliament the same year. It has been used at every coronation since King William IV’s coronation in 1831.

At the coronation, Charles and Camilla arrived five minutes earlier and had to wait for William and Kate inside the carriage.

As per royal biographer Omid Scobie, the delay concerned William and Kate’s children.

“The room for error was nil. And thankfully, due to the weeks of rehearsals that the royals took part in ahead of the coronation, the day went ahead smoothly,” Scobie wrote in Harper’s Bazaar.

“In fact, apart from Prince William and Princess Kate joining the procession late (children were to blame, a source tells me), and Camilla’s ladies in attendance – sister Annabel Elliot, and queen’s companion the Marchioness of Lansdowne – accidentally creating an unfortunate wedgie moment out of her silk Bruce Oldfield dress on the way into the Abbey, very few hitches took place.”

While waiting, the King could be seen talking to his wife and now lip reader experts have their say of what the conversation was about.

According to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, Charles grumbled: “We can never be on time. There’s always something… this is boring.”

Another lip reader, Jacqui Press, shared with Mail Online that the King said: “I’m worried about time, I mean it’s been longer this time and, well, erm, I mean look! I know.”

On May 7, there was another celebration with a big concert at Windsor. Among those who performed were Take That – without Robbie Williams – Lionel Richie and Katy Perry. A “coronation choir,” a diverse group of community choirs and amateur singers from across the UK, including refugee choirs, NHS choirs, LGBTQ+ singing groups, and deaf signing choirs, were also part of the lineup.

All this left the King exhausted, according to royal expert and author Katie Nicholl.

“I spoke to someone close to the king this morning. I said, ‘How is he feeling because he did a pre-party, pre-concert party, and then after-party and did that skit for American Idol, you know, brilliant.’ The source said, ‘exhausted but knackered,’” she told GB News.

She added: “I’m not surprised, they need a good rest now because it has been a pretty epic weekend for them. Saturday was the day that he’s waited his entire life for, you imagine the emotional energy that goes into a day like that, but I think overall it has been a great success.”

Prince George was afraid of being bullied – he persuaded King Charles to break royal protocol before coronation

The coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be remembered as a huge success which passed without any incidents. And as the King and the Queen were the stars of the historic ceremony, another member of the royal family had a significant role during the crowning of the new monarch.

Prince George, who is second in line to the throne, served as a Page of Honor and was one of seven children who were holding King Charles’ and Queen Camilla’s robes during the ceremony as they walked through Westminster Abbey.

Knowing just how significant their son’s role was, William and Kate made sure they prepared the young Prince for his grandpa’s big day.

Royal expert and author Ingrid Seward reported that George, as well as his siblings, were given lessons.

What’s most, the Prince and Princess of Wales found a rather creative way to introduce George with his duties on the day of the coronation; through theater.

“By making it fun and by re-enacting parts of what their grandfather will be doing, both she and William hope George won’t be too daunted by his responsibilities,” Seward said.

“He will form part of the King’s Procession with the three others through the nave of Westminster Abbey.”

As there is no rehearsal for the coronation, the children were given a virtual tour of how it will look like.

“If [George] can visualize where he is supposed to go and what to do, it will reduce any nerves he might feel being the youngest page. The other three boys are 13 and 12 respectively,” royal expert Seward explained.

Seward continued: “He will also have to get used to the idea of wearing the red-coated livery and lace of a page of honor, as I can’t see him going in a jacket and tie.”

“Prince Michael of Kent, who was 11 at the late Queen’s Coronation, recalls his buckle shoes and dark green velvet jacket and how his schoolfriends teased him about wearing ‘fancy dress.’ No doubt George has had a bit of teasing to,” Seward concluded.

“But on the day, he will have the last laugh over his friends. When they watch on TV he will be there and they won’t. He will certainly never forget it.”

The young Prince, as a Page of Honor, was about to wear unique clothing with a significant meaning. He, however, decided to approach his grandfather prior to the coronation and ask from him to change the centuries-old uniform usually worn by the Pages of Honor. The reason why is quite sad to be honest. George didn’t want to be teased by his classmates.

“George, one of four pages assisting the monarch, voiced his concerns about having to wear white knee breeches,” the Mail reported. Also, he wasn’t fond of wearing tights because of possible “ribaldry at school.”

The King agreed. And this didn’t come as a surprise because as much as he respects tradition, Charles also wants to modernize the monarchy, as well as slim it down.

“The King agreed, and the breeches and tights were replaced with trousers. Charles was in no position to object. He had already decided to replace his own breeches with naval trousers. But he distressed his tailor by keeping the buckled court shoes that should only be worn with tights. They crumpled his trews,” the newspaper stated.

We believe that Prince George performed his role as a Page of Honor impeccably.

Jacklyn Zeman, ‘General Hospital’ actress dead at 70 – rest in peace

Actress Jacklyn Zeman, who portrayed character Bobbie Spencer on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital for over four decaded, died aged 70.

She first joined the series back in 1977.

Fans and close friends of the beloved actress paid their tributes and expressed their sadness over her passing.

“On behalf of our @GeneralHospital family, I am heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved @JackieZeman,” executive producer Frank Valentini tweeted. “Just like her character, the legendary Bobbie Spencer, she was a bright light and true professional that brought so much positive energy with her to work.”

“Jackie will be greatly missed, but her positive spirit will always live on with our cast and crew,” he wrote in a second tweet. “We send our heartfelt sympathy to her loved ones, friends, and family, especially her daughters Cassidy and Lacey.”

ABC Entertainment also released a statement regarding Zeman’s passing.

“Jacklyn Zeman has been a beloved member of the General Hospital and ABC family since she originated the iconic role of Bobbie Spencer over 45 years ago,” it began.

“She leaves behind a lasting legacy for her Emmy-nominated portrayal of the bad girl turned heroine and will always be remembered for her kind heart and radiant spirit. We are devastated by the news of her passing, and send our deepest condolences to Jackie’s family, friends and loved ones.”

Singer Rick Springfield, who briefly appeared in General Hospital in the 1980s, expressed his sorrow over Zeman’s departure.

“Incredibly stunned and broken-hearted to hear of Jackie’s passing. Such a truly kind soul with no touch of the diva and only sweet things to say about everyone. She was the one (along with Gloria Monty) who helped launch my 80s career when after the screen test along with several other hopeful young men Gloria asked Jackie who she thought would make a good Noah Drake and God bless her if Jackie didn’t say me,” Springfield shared.

“Love to your spirit as it ascends sweet girl. You left your mark on many of us and you will not be forgotten,” he said.

Before she decided to pursue a career in acting, Zeman, who was born in Englewood, New Jersey, worked as a Playboy Bunny in a Playboy Club in order to be able to pay her bills.

“I did a lot of traveling when I worked for Mr. Hefner and I loved that,” she said during an interview with The Locher Room. “It taught me how to do interviews, it taught me how to be on TV, you know, a lot of things that later on when I became an actress and I had an opportunity to promote my shows I was very comfortable with that.”

Over the forty years she was part of the series, Zeman played in approximately 880 episodes. Her other TV credits include Sledge Hammer, Chicago Hope and, most recently, The Bay.

Reports are that the actress died of cancer. May she rest in peace.

Prince William’s 1-word dig at Harry in coronation speech – expert says royal brothers are ‘playing with fire’

The coronation of King Charles III was a historic event to witness. After over 70 years, Britons celebrated the crowning of a new monarch as thousands gathered on the streets of London and over 20 million turned in to watch the spectacle.

Following the coronation, the royal family headed to the Balcony of the Buckingham Palace and greeted the crowd. And while the Prince and Princess of Wales were there together with their three children, Harry and Meghan, as non-working royals, weren’t offered a place among the members of the Firm. In fact, the possible presence of the Sussexes was a much discussed topic, and although they were both invited, only Harry flew to London to witness his father becoming a King.

However, Harry was in a hurry to return home to his son’s birthday celebration, which was reported to have been a low key one with only closest friends and family in attendance.

He didn’t attend the lunch at the Buckingham Palace during which the King acknowledged his grandson’s birthday and mentioned Archie in his pre-meal toast. According to a Daily Mail source, the king paid homage to “those that weren’t there” and wished Archie a happy birthday “wherever he was.”

“It was apparently a very sweet moment,” the source said.

On May 7, there was another celebration with a big concert at Windsor. Among those who performed were Take That – without Robbie Williams – Lionel Richie and Katy Perry. A “coronation choir,” a diverse group of community choirs and amateur singers from across the UK, including refugee choirs, NHS choirs, LGBTQ+ singing groups, and deaf signing choirs, were also part of the lineup.

Prince William greeted the crowd and held a speech praising his father, who he referred to as “Pa.” The Prince of Wales also paid tribute to his late grandmother and said she would have been proud of her son.

“I want to say a few words about my father and why I believe this weekend is so important. But don’t worry, unlike Lionel, I won’t go on all night long,” the future king joked, in a nod to performer Lionel Richie and his hit All Night Long.

But it looked like William didn’t only speak of those in attendance as it appeared that he took a cold dig at Harry and Meghan for leaving the Royal Family behind.

“For all that celebrations are magnificent, at the heart of the pageantry is a simple message – service,” William said. Many were convinced that his words had to do with Harry and Meghan’s departure from the Royal Family and the statement they released when they stepped down from their royal duties which in part read, “We can all live a life of service. Service is universal.”

“I commit myself to serve you all. King, Country and Commonwealth. God Save The King,” William concluded his speech.

According to British broadcaster and royal expert Ian Pelham Turner, the brothers not talking to each other isn’t good for the monarchy.

“Great Britain cannot afford to have a royal family which is fragmented and not representing the true values of the people,” Turner said.

“In my opinion, it is not [William and Harry’s] right to behave in such a dishonorable way.

“It will be resolved if the people of Great Britain turn their backs on the new king and show the [same] disdain … currently being played out in the public arena by the two brothers,” he added. “In my opinion, William and Harry are playing with fire, which could erupt the whole house of Windsor in flames,” he concluded.

Unveiling the enigmatic Gaboon Viper: Nature’s master of camouflage and lethal precision

Speaking of Gaboon Viper, The National Geographic describes it as the longest and heaviest snake in the Viper family living on the African continent. These vipers are lethargic and solitary ambush hunters.

Their notably thick appearance around the body, their triangle-shaped head and the set of extended scales which have the appearance of horns, as well as their striking pattern, make them excellent in camouflage in the snake’s native habitat, helping it blend into the leaf litter on the forest floor. Gaboon Vipers truly are the masters of disguise.

Being nocturnal snakes, they usually wait for their pray when the sun sets hidden among the leaves. They have huge appetites and often feast on huge prays such as full-grown monkeys, rabbits, and more.

Their poisonous venom causes severe tissue damage, leading to excruciating pain, and if left untreated, can be potentially fatal in consequence.

The good thing is that cases of humans being bitten by these snakes are pretty rare. Gaboon Viper are known for their non-aggressive behavior. They avoid contact with humans and remain in remote habitats. The few cases of human encounters with these vipers are reported when someone accidentally stepped on them.

If anti-venom is not applied, these encounters can have fatal consequences. When they attack someone, they have unique ability to hold onto the pray and let large quantities of venom to be released into the bloodstream of their prey.

Although Africa is their natural habitat, there are cases of Americans keeping them as pets due to their striking looks.

A man from Virginia was keeping this venomous viper in his home but got bitten by it in 2022. He was quickly transported to Richmond Hospital and admitted to the emergency room. Sadly, they had ran out of anti-venom which had been provided to them by the Smithsonian National Zoo, but luckily, they were able to acquire 35 bottles of anti-venom to assist in the treatment by the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center in Virginia Beach.

Previously, another Gaboon Viper owner from North Carolina was also bitten by his pet and needed 45 vials of anti-venom, but sadly, he lost several fingers along the way.

A video of this snake emerged online back in 2021, and it could be seen on the streets. People were stunned by its looks and many agreed that its camouflage skills were impressive to say the least. It resembled a caterpillar.

These vipers, whose life span is around 20 years, have the incredible ability to adapt, survive, and thrive in the African rainforest.

The coronation of King Charles III was a pleasure to watch. Besides the great number of people who covered the streets of London and were thereto greet the new monarch, additional 20 million Britons turned in to watch the historic moment which marked a new era for the country.

Following the ceremony, the family headed to the Balcony of the Buckingham Palace and greeted the crowd. Among those who joined the King, of course, were the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate, and their three children.

Prince George, the eldest child of the couple, who is second in line to the throne, served as a Page of Honor, which means he was one of seven children who were holding King Charles and Queen Camilla’s robes during the ceremony as they walked through Westminster Abbey.

His younger siblings weren’t given any official roles due to their young age, but they did attend their grandpa’s coronation and stole millions of hearts.

Five-year-old Louis made his first major royal historical outing with his parents and siblings at the coronation and his sister was there to provide support. Those who watched carefully certainly noticed the young Princess placing her hand on top of her brother’s, as she lowered her head while the enthusiastic Prince observed the proceedings.

”Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte. How sweet,” a royal fan commented.

“Yall look at Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte holding hands behind their parents,” another added.

Charlotte is truly a special young lady whose personality shines through more and more. Many agree that she resembles her late grandmother, Princess Diana, and it seems like this resemblance is not limited to looks only. On the contrary, is looks like Charlotte also shares her grandma’s caring and loving nature.

When it comes to her role withing the family, rumors are that William and Kate raise her with the expectations that she won’t be a full-time working royal and that she would likely need to find a job once the time for that comes. This is due to Charles’ wish to slim down the monarchy.

“From what I hear, the Prince and Princess of Wales want Charlotte, aged seven, to grow up with the expectation that she will get a job and not be a full-time royal,” royal expert Richard Eden told the Mirror.

“This path for the young Princess would be in keeping with her grandfather, King Charles III’s, vision for a slimmed-down monarchy.”

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are provided with as normal childhoods as possible.

King Charles was ‘crushed’ by Harry and Meghan’s announcement – the couple kept the secret from him

Ever since the world learned that Prince Harry and former actress Meghan Markle were a thing, the couple have been under the spotlight. Starting from their glamorous wedding which was broadcast and seen by more than 29.19 million viewers, to the birth of their son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor in 2019, to stepping down from their royal duties, the Sussex Royals’ every move has been closely followed by the media. That same media which “forced” them to leave the U.K. and move to the States.

The two were introduced to each other by a mutual friend after Harry spotted her in a video shared by one of his friends and couldn’t help but ask who she was, according to the couple’s Netflix documentary.

The two made plans to meet while Meghan visited London for the Wimbledon tennis tournament. As agreed, Meghan was waiting for Harry at the Soho House in London but he was 30 minutes late.

“I couldn’t understand why he would be late,” Meghan said in the series. “But he kept texting. He was like, ‘I’m in traffic. I’m so sorry.’”

“I was panicking, I was freaking out,” Harry added. “I was, like, sweatin’.”

Meghan explained that because she didn’t know Harry, she wondered if he was usually late.

“I was like, ‘Oh, is this what he does?’ Got it. Like this, I’m not doing. I’m not gonna sit…..”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Harry interfered.

“Like you’re one of those guys who have so much of an ego that any girl would sit waiting for a half hour for you,” Meghan continued. “I was just not interested in that.”

Once Harry walked into the restaurant, though, Meghan quickly realized him being late wasn’t part of any tactic or plan.

“I was a hot, sweaty, red ball of mess,” Harry recalled.

“You were just so sweet,” Meghan added. “You were genuinely so embarrassed and late.”

Following their first date, Harry thought to himself: “This woman is amazing. She is everything that I’ve been looking for.”

However, soon after they tied the knot, Harry and Meghan started experiencing issues with the rest of the royals, some which were revealed during the infamous Oprah interview.

Even before they announced they were a couple, some members of the Firm weren’t delighted, rumors are. Then-prince Charles, who learned that his son was dating Meghan Markle around 20 minutes before they went public, was reported to have been ‘crushed’ by the news. This was because Charles feared the announcement could overshadow his forthcoming royal duties.

“It was a critical moment that had been in the works for months,” Scobie and Durand wrote in the book Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of the Modern Royal Family.

“A statement from Kensington Palace condemning the Press and, in the same breath, confirming Harry’s new girlfriend would all but eliminate coverage of Prince Charles’s tour of the Gulf.”

The royal authors added: “The team at Clarence House, which had spent months putting together Prince Charles’ tour in the hopes that it would be covered significantly, was crushed.”

It wasn’t because of Harry’s choice but because of the bad timing.

Over time, the relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the royals became a rocky one and remains such until today.

WWE star Sara Lee’s shocking cause of death revealed

Seven months following her tragic passing, Sara Lee’s cause of death has finally been determined.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that Lee died of suicide. As reported by TMZ, she “ingested a lethal combination of alcohol and pills.” Further, the police reported that Lee left behind “letters of intent” which were found at the scene.

At the time of her passing, in October 2022, Lee was 30 years of age. The devastating news was shared by Lee’s mother Terri Lee who posted a heartbreaking Facebook post which left many in complete shock.

“It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus,” Terri began her post. “We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete.”

“We ask that you respectfully let our family mourn. We all need prayers especially [her husband] Cory and her children,” Terri wrote back then.

Lee was married to husband Cory since 2017 and they shared three children together.

Cory also spoke of his wife’s sudden passing and posted a touching tribute on his Instagram. “Dear Sara,” he began, “I loved you from the first moment I saw you. I would always say that you were an angel walking on this earth.”

He continued: “Beautiful, compassionate, strong and so loving. An angel that blessed me with 3 of the most beautiful children I could imagine. But you were soo much more than just mom.

“You were a motivator, a best friend, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, the back bone of our family, and (my favorite), my wife. I really don’t know what to say in these uncertain times. I can’t thank you enough for giving me the best years of my life so far.”

Lee found fame on the sixth and final season of Tough Enough, a reality show in which contestants competed for a one-year, $250,000 contract with the WWE.

Baby called ‘hideous’ is a gorgeous little girl now

Every person is beautiful in their own way, and the same goes for the newborn babies.

When a baby girl named Angelica was born in 2018, her family was overjoyed. She had beautiful facial features and a heart-shaped port wine stain which made her even more special. Sadly, not everyone saw the beauty of her unique mark.

According to Angelica’s mom, her family accepted her the way she is and even love her birthmark, but there have been those who give themselves the right to comment on this girl’s looks.

“The worst comment online that I’ve gotten is when someone asked if her face had been pushed onto a skillet. Basically, saying her face looked grilled,” Angelica’s mom, Marianna Bowering told the Mirror.

Marianna further said that there were times when her daughter was labeled “hideous” and a “defect.” This affected the family in a negative way and only added to the challenged they faced, but they were determined to overcome the negative effects of the mean words and comments.

No matter what others said, Angelica’s family taught her to love herself the way she is.

In order to help her daughter feel better, Marianna decided to paint her face with what resembled a birthmark just like the one of Angelica.

“I got the idea from vascular birthmark awareness day, where they encourage people to paint a heart on the cheeks,” the mom said, according to The Epoch Times. “Initially I just did the heart with my makeup look but then I thought why don’t I go all out and do Angelica’s port wine stain.”

Whenever someone tried to ‘comfort’ Marianna that her daughter’s mark would eventually fade away or that she could hide it with makeup once she gets older only crushed this mother even more as she couldn’t help but wonder if Angelica would be forced to hide her natural beauty instead of embracing it.

It was a reminder that societies have these norms about what a person needs to look like in order to fit the group and be accepted.

Her family has always told Angelica that she should love herself for who she is. There were times when Marianna would cover her daughter’s wine port stain with glitter so that it could shine bright.

“Thankfully, we’ve done tests and Angelica is totally healthy,” Marianna said of her girl, referring to the fact that children with these types of birthmarks can develop other health conditions. “We just need to have regular check-ups, especially for her eyes as glaucoma can be a concern.”
