David Arrick, Nate and Heidi at Nate’s karate class exposition in New York City in 2017.
David Arrick, a former New York attorney and a baker, learned his father was a gay when he was just 11. After a couple of years, he also came out of the closet. Now he was being gay but also wanted to have offspring one day. Would coming to terms with his sexuality prevent him from becoming a father one day? Certainly not. The first thing he learned from his role model, his Dad, was that being gay doesn’t mean being childless.
He is now sharing the story of how he and a straight woman are co-parents of their son. His writing was first published in the Huffington Post, and later shared throughout the social media, thus dividing people’s opinions of whether these types of relationships meet the ‘society’s standards.’
You can take a look at what David had to say in his essay below.
“When I was 11, I found out that my dad was gay. As shocking as this revelation was, I was relieved his sexuality was the reason my parents divorced and that my dad hadn’t left my mom to start another family that he loved more than ours. Still, I was confused. This was 1978, and there were no healthy representations of gay people in the media, and I had absolutely no idea what having a gay dad would mean for me.
Then, just when I was starting to accept my father’s sexuality, I began to question my own, and by the time I turned 16, I came out as gay too. Despite the emotional turbulence my dad and I had been through, I counted myself lucky. Not only did I have a role model in my own family, but thanks to my Dad, I had already learned something so many other gay people at my age hadn’t: Being gay didn’t have to equal being childless.
That message stuck with me throughout my life, and 25 years after I came out, when my friend Heidi, who I met at college, and I began discussing having a child together, I did not feel the same apprehension that plagues some other gay men. Heidi was essentially family to me, and we viewed having a child as a natural extension of our close friendship. We were both single, our families knew and liked each other, and we spent many holidays together. We laughed at the same things, had lots in common and both felt a burning desire to be parents. Comments like “If neither of us is married by …” or “Could we co-parent together?” had been peppered throughout our conversations for years, and when we seriously began to discuss it, we were hard pressed to think of a reason we shouldn’t do it. It just felt right.
By 2010, when we decided to put our plan into action, media representations of alternative parenting approaches and family types had come a long way. Miranda and Carrie had discussed their biological clocks on “Sex and the City” and revealed their “scary age,” or age at which they feared they would realize it was too late to have a baby. “Will & Grace” and “Modern Family” were opening closets and shining a bright light on modern gay life while offering new definitions of family. Even though there were still no visible gay-dad-straight-mom co-parenting role models for us to look to, there were so many more possibilities when it came to parenting, and Heidi and I felt determined to make our own version of a modern family a reality.

Navigating uncharted waters, we would be forging ahead guided solely by instinct, but what prospective parents aren’t essentially doing that in most respects, right? There were no books on Amazon titled “Gay Dad, Straight Mom” or “When Your Gay BFF Becomes Your Baby Daddy,” and there were so many issues ― from the legal to the financial ― to iron out, but those were really just details to us. I felt that as a “couple,” we were at a distinct advantage, and I remember thinking, “Aren’t Heidi and I in a better position than many other people who get pregnant without having had the benefit of 20 years of friendship?” In our hearts we knew we were doing the right thing, and in our minds we had already become Daddy and Mommy. So with our plan concealed from family and friends, we set out to try to conceive.
The idea of having sex made us chuckle, so we decided on at-home insemination without any kind of medical intervention. Since Heidi is a nurse, we had the benefit of her medical background, and we obtained the sterile cups, syringes and the other paraphernalia needed to increase our odds of conception. We agreed that if Heidi didn’t get pregnant within three months, we would each go to a fertility doctor to determine if we were individually able to have children. If my boys were the reason that Heidi couldn’t get pregnant, I would have been disappointed but graciously bowed out of the process, wishing her well in her journey toward becoming pregnant without me. I gave it my best shot (literally!), and we inseminated whenever Heidi was ovulating.
We made the insemination process as lighthearted as we could because, while we were attempting to do something that, if successful, would alter our lives forever, there was a comical aspect to the process of doing this ourselves. Here we were actually doing what so many other gay men and their straight college girl friends had promised each other they would do, and the faint sound of their words ― “If I’m not married by 40 …” “You’re my gay BFF. We should have a baby!” ― echoed in our heads throughout our journey.
Here we were actually doing what so many other gay men and their straight college girl friends had promised each other they would do.
On insemination night there was no mood lighting, no chardonnay and no Barry White playing. Instead we told each other funny stories after the process was complete. Heidi remained lying on her bed, hips raised at an angle to increase the odds of sperm meeting egg, with Led Zeppelin playing (Heidi sings in a Led Zeppelin cover band, after all), a “Seinfeld” rerun on TV and cartons of our favorite Chinese takeout within reach. After our third attempt, Heidi became pregnant. Apparently steamed shrimp dumplings plus “Stairway to Heaven” plus some Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer craziness equaled success ― at least for us.
Throughout the pregnancy, I remained awestruck that the sonogram images of the baby in Heidi’s belly were of my child, and I found myself marveling at the fact that the in-home insemination really worked. We worked out that Heidi would have primary custody during the week, I would have the baby at my place on the weekend, we would share finances and we would create a Family Day ― one day dedicated to our all being together ― that we would share each week.
In September 2010 our son, Nathaniel Chase, was born. We hadn’t attended one Lamaze class, since he arrived before they were scheduled to start, but Heidi was a confident champ, masterfully in tune with herself and what her body was naturally designed to do. I was steadfastly there by her side ― cheering her on and holding a knee when helpful but scurrying to move my daddy ass out of the way when the nurse screamed at me to do so. After Nate was born, we had an impromptu “circle of life” moment (cue “The Lion King”) to welcome him into the world and then had Chinese food delivered to the hospital room.
David with Nate and Heidi in the Bahamas in 2015.
What I came to realize after our son was born was that our situation as parents was more similar to than different from those who became parents in what we now think of as a more traditional way. Our co-parenting story garnered some media attention, and we appeared on NBC, CNN and other networks with the intention of showing that we were an alternative family proud of our journey. We thought (and still think) of ourselves as simply Mommy and Daddy ― there to guide, educate, love and raise our child, just as millions of other parents do every day. My sexuality and Heidi’s choice as a single woman to become a mom were not at all relevant to our abilities to parent, and while our identities may have changed how we got to where we are today, ultimately, they do not define us as parents.
Parenting as a gay man has been interesting, to say the least. In addition to experiencing many of the typical things that a first-time father experiences, I often find myself in situations other dads might not. In 2012, I was in a Starbucks when a well-intentioned grandmotherly type approached me and asked what so many others have asked me over the previous two years when they saw me alone with Nate: “Is it Mommy’s day off today? Are you babysitting?” Unfortunately for her, she chose the wrong guy and the wrong day to inquire and I told her what I’d been itching to tell the dozens of people who had asked me similar questions before. “I’m gay,” I responded. “How do you know that my child’s other parent is a woman, or that there even is a mommy?” The woman turned whiter than the foam on her latte.
I don’t entirely fault her for seeing a man with a baby through a more traditional lens, probably as a result of being the product of her older generation, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel a rush of satisfaction from responding the way I did. And to be honest, I also take issue with the idea that if a man is alone with a baby, that automatically means he’s babysitting or temporarily stepping into mom’s shoes when she’s not around. Men parent too, and they aren’t babysitters to their own kids.
My sexuality and Heidi’s choice as a single woman to become a mom were not at all relevant to our abilities to parent, and … ultimately, they do not define us as parents.
Another time I was texting with a gay friend, and he told me that he was on his way to have a threesome. “Look what you’re missing out on by having to be home on a Saturday night with your toddler!” he wrote. “Will you ever be able to go out again?”
I was never interested in threesomes before my son was born, but that was beside the point. It wasn’t my job to convince him that I was happy or that there was nowhere else I would rather be on a Saturday night than at home reading “Goodnight Moon” to the most important little guy in my world.
My family is everything to me, and I’m thankful for what I’ve been able to experience because of the people I love. I’m especially grateful for Heidi and the way that becoming parents together morphed our relationship from best friends to something even richer and deeper and built on even more trust and respect than we had for each other before. We work hard to discipline Nate consistently in our respective homes, communicate daily and try our best to parent as a united front. Not everyone supports what we are doing, and we’ve faced many challenges (including some despicably misogynistic and homophobic comments), but we expected that to some degree, and we’ve learned to tune out that ugly noise and focus on what is most important ― raising Nate and being a positive example of what a loving, modern family looks like.”
Joey Mustain from Murfreesboro, Tennessee fascinated us with a great story about human kindness and goodwill. The story he posted on Facebook is so touching that brings hopes that there are still people who care about the others.
While Joey and his daughter were enjoying their dinner at Chick-fil-A, they witnessed a very uncommon, but totally pleasant situation. One moment a homeless man enters the diner. His dirty clothes and big backpack make him quite noticeable. In many cases such outfit results with him being thrown out of the diner, but not this time. Joey begins the post like this:
“I took Stella to Chick-fil-A today. It’s our normal daddy-daughter spot. It’s clean, so good, and the playground has a tractor beam on her the moment she sees it.
When we finished eating and she’d worked up her dessert appetite playing with the other kids, we went back to trade in her toy for ice cream. She wanted to sit at a table to eat the cone (something we usually do in the truck), and I’m so glad she did.
We took a booth right next to the spot where you wait for your drink to be ‘refreshed,’ and we had a front-row seat to this beautiful scene: a homeless traveler had walked in and asked if they had any extra food.
Mud was wet and caked on his well-traveled shoes.
His hair was matted, and his beard wasn’t a statement as much as it was a necessity and a sign that he doesn’t get to shave as often as most of us do.
People near him kept their distance, but that didn’t stop him from being kind. He spoke to people who reluctantly spoke back, and he smiled while he waited on a manager.”
However, the homeless man was about to be amazed.
Joey continues with the manager’s approach towards the man. He writes:
“All I could pick up on of the conversation was the manager saying that he’d love to give him a full, warm meal. Not just scraps or extras.
The only thing he required was that the man let him pray with him.
After the homeless man agreed, there was no waiting for things to die down, there was no scooting anyone to the side.
As busy as they were, the manager stopped then and there, laid his hand on the man, and proceeded to pray.
I heard love in that prayer. The homeless man wasn’t some untouchable stain on business. He was the reason that store opened its doors this morning (or any morning).
I asked Stella to watch and she stared. She asked what was happening and when I told her, she bowed her head, too.
I realized then and there that Chick-fil-A doesn’t simply do business for profits, they truly use business to minister….
I love teaching my daughter life lessons, and I also love being there to watch other Christians teach her life lessons. Thank you, Chick-fil-A, for taking care of the latter today.”
That surprised even the homeless man. He was touched even just by the fact that he was treated as a human being.
Just imagine the homeless man’s happiness. Being treated well and getting more than what he was hoping for made him feel wonderful. Very often homeless men feel the harsh reality of life and the bad side of human’s nature. They are being mistreated, abandoned and unnoticed. This homeless man received quite the opposite. That must gave him hopes for better future.
Thanks to Joey all of us can understand what really happened. The world will definitely be better if there are more caring people out there!
We never know what kind of surprises life prepares for us. Small coincidental and unexpected minor things usually shake the daily routines we are accustomed to. However, when something big unexpectedly happens, it largely impacts our feelings and emotions.
A similar situation happened to Chris Thorp from California. The normal day turned out to be a day to remember and brought some old memories back from his past. He was in disbelief of the event that happened.
Chris’ normal day turned out to be one of the strangest he had had in his life. He and his wife finished his their daily activities and headed back home. While they were heading home, they had to stop at the car repair shop in order to pick up his wife’s car. As they reached the shop, the woman got into the shop, but Chris didn’t. Just as he was about to enter the shop, he saw a man that got his attention.
The man’s face, his visible burn scars and his general physical appearance, made him think about the man. He instantly thought that he actually knows the man. The physical resemblance of this stranger standing opposite the car repair shop was just too big with the person he saw many years ago.
Embarrassed or not, Chris had decided – he was going to approach the man and satisfy his curiosity. He was determined to know if both of them knew each other. Chris started talking with the man.
The stranger answered positively to Chris’ question. He replied that his name is Christian. The name, together with the burn scars shocked Chris. It was really the man he thought he was.
Now adult, Christian was just a boy when he was involved in a terrible accident. The burning car did terrible damage to Christian’s skin. Luckily, that was the only damage that the young boy had suffered from. If Chris wasn’t at the site of the accident back then, and if he didn’t pull the boy out of the car, he might have lost his life. Chris’ bravery saved the little boy’s life.
All of that was revealed to Christian. Chris told him what he did and how he did not hesitate helping the vulnerable boy. As a result of his actions and undertakings, Chris got Gold Medal of Valor. Now, after many years seeing the boy that he rescued, he gifted his medal to Christian. This act marked their friendship and their meetings, in bad and in good times.
Regarding all of this, Chris says:
“He accepted it, and in a lot of ways I realized I had been merely it’s Keeper, until the time came for him to take possession. I still don’t know how I feel. Him and his Family are very much a part of me. A part of me has come home, and at the same moment a huge weight has been lifted from my heart. Well, Higher Power… If you are there. Thank You.”
Do you remember the saying that small things matter? All of us have heard it and quite often we ignore it believing that the big things actually change our lives. Vince Villano from Washington proves just the opposite. One small chat turned his life upside down.
This Washington based Army veteran sergeant was living his life happily with his wife and his two adolescent daughters. As every person out there, he had a daily routine that kept him busy. One of the things that he regularly did was drinking his favourite coffee in his favourite coffeehouse – Starbucks in Washington.
He was a regular visitor in DuPoint, but he actually never interacted with the employees, except ordering his coffee. He was known to the employees just by his face since for years he has been enjoying his coffee there.
One day, as Vince was ordering his coffee, the employee Nicole McNeil noticed something strange on Vince’s face. Her sharp eyes noted a sad and very worried expression. That motivated her to start a conversation with Vince.
Since Vince came in the coffeehouse just as Nicole’s shift was over, she sat next to him and she initiated the conversation. She recalls saying:
“He walked in and just looked particularly sad, and I was just like, ‘What’s, ya know, what’s goin’ on Vince?’”
In the beginning Vince did not want to talk about his feelings and the things that worried him so much. Instead, he started talking about his professional life. That amazed Nicole since her husband had the same profession as him. What a coincidence!
The new moment calmed Vince down and he confessed to her – he had a very serious kidney illness. He also added that in case he does not find a donor by himself, his life will be in danger and he might end up going on dialysis. Nicole felt the pain Vince was struggling with and understood the fight he had to do in order to save his life.
Vine’s confession about him being afraid that he will leave his two daughters without father touched the Starbucks’ employee. When Nicole came back home, she told everything to her husband Justin. Without a second thought, Justin said to Nicole that Vince can count on his kidney. What a great man!
Regarding her husband’s decision, she adds:
“He cares about people almost more than any anybody I’ve ever met. He’s the kindest person I’ve ever met. So, when he said, ‘I’ll give my kidney,’ it seemed like, ‘OK, sure. Yeah, you will.’”
When Vince and Justin met to discuss the possibility, the two men immediately became like brothers. They started talking about the procedure, the expectations, the life and the hope that Justin brought to Vince’s life. Very soon they started hanging out and bonded like true friends usually do.
After some time, the moment of truth finally came. Both of them went to see the doctor and talked about the donation surgery. Since a surgery of this type is quite complex, the doctor had to explain all details to both of them, especially the conditions for successful surgery. The most crucial elements for a successful organ transplant were the blood type and the genetic code. Incredibly, Justin and Vince had the same blood type and their genetics were a match. The great news resulted with scheduling the procedure itself.
The success of the surgery was expected. Both of them felt very well and Vince finally got the second chance. He was at ease that he will not leave his family. He also was very grateful to Justin’s kindness and good-doing. Their friendship now is even stronger and their families have a happy and joyful life.
With more than 1.800 stores as of early 2019, Aldi is a serious player in the US food selling business. The chain of stores is expanding rapidly and their plan is to keep growing in terms of quantity and quality. They do have success on that plan. With around 1.500 stores prior to 2018, nowadays the number is higher than 1.800. However, that’s not the only excellent news from Aldi.
The management of Aldi informed their costumers that the company’s new policy is focusing more on healthy food offer. In other words, Aldi is trying to offer the people more organic food and products that are considered to be healthier. As a consequence to that, Aldi decided to remove eight pesticides from the US stores.
Their efforts have even been acknowledged by Business Insider. Business Insider especially pays attention to removing the synthetic colours and the sale of gluten-free products. In addition to that, Aldi’s commitment for increasing people’s awareness for healthy food is recognized as well.
The idea of establishing themselves as the number one food chain in terms of quality resulted with removing the following pesticides: Thiamethoxam, Chlorpyrifos, Clothianidin, Cypermethrin, Deltamethrin, Fipronil, Imidacloprid and Sulfoxaflor. This is actually a great piece of news!
Noteworthy is that this is not the first and the only measurement that Aldi has recently undertaken. During the last years Aldi’s management in the USA is working hard to offer healthier and organic food. First of all, Aldi expanded their organic food offers and removed certified synthetic colours. Additionally, the sales of fresh and organic meat and products has been increased and the milk that is offered in the stores is free of artificial growth hormones. All of these things really help establishing Aldi as the right place for healthy food shoppers.
The school years aren’t that easy for everyone to handle because teenagers have a lot on their plates. They really need to balance between being straight-A students who are expected to perform great during lesson time, and their social life that includes making friends. And as many find themselves in quite challenging situations they are expected to find a way out of all by themselves, students attending Lake Mary High School in Lake Mary, FL know there is someone they can always count on.
Dr. Donna “Mickey” Reynolds is the school’s principal and she believes that every student is special and treats each and every one of them as such. This principal, along with the school’s administration and the teachers take every opportunity to connect with the kids on a personal level.
“The only way to make sure that we have a healthy, safe school environment where kids can learn and thrive and feel a part of it is if we connect with every student. We have to make a concerted effort to make those connections; we’ve seen what happens when we don’t.”
The school has set up a program that involves nine graders who are experiencing certain difficulties in life and struggle with the school subjects. Every teacher gets involved and has the role of a personal advocate whose job is to provide these students with the academical and emotional support they need.
This time, however, they went an extra mile in their task of bonding with the students. The teens were at the school’s gym waiting for a game to start. They were ready to have some fun with the Lady Marionettes when something extraordinary happened. The teachers gathered together and prepared a show to remember. As the cheerleaders started their dance routine during pep rally, Dr.Reynolds and the rest of the staff joined the performance.
The person who came up with this amazing idea was Lady Marionettes’ coach, Stephanie Kersten. Once the staff were informed of this brilliant plan they were all more than happy to take part. They all believe this is just another way of telling their students they are always there for them.
“The teachers and staff members doing that really helped drop that line between them and their students. Those adults really, really want to connect with those kids in any way possible, even if it means going out there and making themselves vulnerable, dancing even if they can’t.” Coach Kersten said
We are aware how teachers are extremely important part of children’s life and have huge impact on the way their minds and their behavior are shaped, but we all have to agree how these particular educators really took things to a whole new level when it comes to connecting with the young souls, and we love it.
Take a look at the amazing performance in the video below.
If you think talent show competitors have a hard time impressing those four or five strict and demanding judges who are paid to tell them what their singing lacks, imagine having to impress 100 of them. The All Together Now music show that first aired in January 2018, requires exactly that. Singers that take the stage have to face TV’s biggest judging panel and convince every single one of them why they deserve a chance to get to another round of the competition.
Michael Rice, the winner of the first series really made everyone fall in love with his talent as he opted to present the cheering crowd with Tina Turner’s version of CCR’s “Proud Mary.” Everyone agreed how he couldn’t choose a song that would fit him better than this one.
He did feel stage fright once he stood in front of all those people but as soon as he let his voice loose, the judges realized he was one fierce competitor and treated him with clapping and dancing, which quickly made his initial nervousness fade away. However, besides getting all these music professionals to like him, he needed to beat 3 more contestants in the round.
But once he realized people liked him, nothing could really stop on his way of becoming a star.
This wasn’t the first time for Michael to perform in front of influential names in the music industry as he previously took part in similar shows among which The X FactorUK. He joined season 11 of the competition and performed Whitney Houston’s classic “I Look To You” but didn’t manage to get past the Bootcamp stage.
On the grand finale of All Together Now, Michael got a yes from 94 out of those 100 judges after singing a rendition of Leonar Cohen’s “Hallelujah” which was enough for him to win the title. The success he enjoyed after this competition was huge and he quickly got his name known among people from all around the globe.
He’s still pursuing his dream of becoming a big star and is set to represent the UK at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest that will be taking place in Tel Aviv, Israel. He’ll be performing a song titled “Bigger Than us” and we are sure he’s going to show the world how great of a singer he is.
Michael’s story is just a proof that one should never quit pursuing their goals. Take a look at his stunning performance in the video below.
Most of us have been brought up to be nice people who wouldn’t snick their noses into other people’s business. And as much as we want our personal space to be respected, we should do the same thing for those around us, especially all the random people we meet every day. But what happens when someone else’s ‘business’ involves law violations and even child endangerment and abuse? In cases like this, we should all get involved without even hesitating a bit.
This is exactly what an Olive Garden’s waitress and a mother-to-be named Jordan Cooper did when she noticed parents treating their daughter with disrespect. Her guts told her there was something more serious hiding behind the act of grabbing her by the shirt and feeding her by force.
The poor girl was around two years old and the way she looked was enough to raise a red flag that she was undergoing an ordeal.
“I can’t even describe to you how bad she looked and how and why nobody noticed it,” Cooper said.
Cooper couldn’t just let whatever it was happening to the girl continue taking place. She needed to get into action and her clever thinking resulted in saving the little girl from her parents who were obviously mistreating her.
In the Facebook post she later deleted, Cooper described the sweet girl’s face as “black and blue all over” and then added how her father would get her into the bathroom whenever she would start complaining or crying.
Luckily, Cooper managed to take a photo of the man and wrote the licence plate number down after she alerted the police of what she witnessed.
The food serice industry is a thoughtless one that does not get the credit it deserves… This woman is a damn #Herohttps://t.co/gWtoz4QxiE

The abusive parents ended in the hands of the authorities and jailed.
An Olive Garden waitress wrote a Facebook post about serving a baby covered in ‘black and blue’ bruises. The baby’s parents were later arrested. https://t.co/M3Iw84Ka6R
Aaron Caldwell, the 911 dispatcher who took down the information Cooper provided him with helped in tracking the parent’s car down. Cooper Facebook post was of crucial importance too, because it contained more detail on the incident.
“She put it online and when I found it. It had 1,400 shares,” Caldwell shared with WSIL. “It just so happened that we knew each other and I’m a dispatcher.”
Mark Lee Pierce and Jessica Woodworth, the girl’s parents are facing charges for aggravated child abuse and neglect. The good thing is that the kids are now placed at a safe place.
“I deleted the post but the baby is found and the… parents are in custody,” she wrote. “My heart can now be at rest. Thank you to everyone who helped me find these terrible people!” Cooper wrote.
We should all follow Cooper’s example and speak up whenever we see injustice taking place in front of our eyes.
Burundi, a
Central African country, just recently has started recovering from the bloody civil war. From 1993 to 2005, the country’s economy, people and society were under heavy impact of the terror. Everything started falling apart. As a result of the war many Burundians became refugees in order to avoid the bloodshed. Noela Rukundo is one of them.
Noela’s life was hellish in Burundi during the war. Having no other options, she was searching for a country that will accept her as a refugee. Ultimately, Australia became her second home. She moved to the continent and decided to normalize her life. She succeeded and she was enjoying the second chance.
In Australia, Noela met her husband, Balenga Kalala. They were living the dream. Their romance evolved into marriage. Noela thought that finally the terrible things that were common in Burundi are over. She was wrong.
One day Noela got a note from Burundi stating that her stepmother passed away. Therefore, she flew back home, some time after the war actually ended. She was staying in a hotel and in the evening she got uninvited visitors. While staying outside the hotel, unknown men approached Noela. It would not have been scary if the men did not have guns with them. Noela froze.
Very soon, while she was being kept as an abductee, the kidnappers told her something very weird. Actually, they did not want to kill her, since their hitlist does not include women and children. That
got Noela’s attention and they started talking. In the next few minutes, she was shocked as never before. The kidnappers, while trying to avoid her murder, informed the lady that it was her husband that wanted her dead. She was petrified. They also added that he paid them and also he instructed them to dump the body. However, instead of crying and pretending to be stunned, she did something very impressive.
The kidnappers let her go, but the official version was that she was dead. Therefore, in Burundi family and friends gathered to say the last goodbye to Noela. Ironically, her husband was there as well and he
was pretending to be very emotional. But, he got the biggest surprise ever – he saw Noela standing among the people!
Empowered because of the newly developed situation, Noela informed everyone about the things her husband did. The people were shocked and Kalala was speechless.
The Burundian police arrested Kalala. Initially, he denied everything and he thought he was going to get away with the crime. However, the Police and Noela called the kidnappers and they gave the crucial evidence. They gave them recording taken while they and Kalala were negotiating about Noela’s murder. He got 9 years behind the bars.
Noela moved back to Australia. She is happy that the nightmares are over and she is planning to continue living her life as she wants.
The latest and greatest happenings from the musical industry just took place at the one of The Voice UK’s episodes. As viewers from around the globe were eagerly waiting for the battles between contestants to rock the show’s stage, the judges decided to treat the audience with their out-of-this-world talent themselves. It’s great how they opt for some fun every now and then, which elevates this talent competition to a whole new level the crowd is crazy about.
Judges, or better said coaches Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson, and Olly Murs made viewers grew fond of them as they add special touch to every episode of the show. This time, however, they shook everyone watching The Voice UK, as and incredible duet between two of them came about. These music icons broke into song as Olly questioned his fellow colleagues who they would like to see enter into a music battle. It didn’t take long as he got to answer his own question saying how he’d love to listen to Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson perform together.
Luckily, both Jennifer and Tom were more than happy to respond to this challenge and show everyone how it’s done. We don’t even need to tell you what the outcome of this spin-off was, as all you need to know is that the mix of such powerful voices could only result in magic unfolding in front of your eyes. Choosing the 60’s classic song “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown and Betty Jean Newsome, the judges stunned the cheering crowd. Sir Tom Jones delivered the first few lines of the song with Jennifer Hudson following immediately.
Wow, just imagine the excitement of those present there. How often do you get to listen to two renowned artists performing live? Their voices blended together perfectly and created an amazingly pleasant harmony. Everyone agrees how they gave justice to this timeless hit. Executing such demanding rendition looks so easy when these judges do it. People are going crazy over this duet with many arguing how it should released.
The flawless and powerful vocals gives us goosebumps and we all agree how we could listen to them over and over again.
This was definitely the best “battle” we’ve seen so far. Can someone beat these two dueting? I don’t think so. They proved once again why they deserve the place on those red chairs. Simply stunning, you’ll have to agree.
Taking part in a talent show viewed by millions doesn’t only take skills, but also courage, dedication, and self-confidence.
When Barry Darcy of Cork first took the stage of Ireland’s Got Talent, he wowed not only the audience, but the strict and demanding group of judges too. He treated everyone with his amazingly hunting vocal, and then he took a step further and shared with the wider crowd his life story that triggered flow of emotions. Honestly, simply by looking at this 38-year-old contestant, the way he looks, the way he sings, the way he smiles, never you could imagine the terrific ordeal he had to go through. What you are about to witness is how optimism and resilience can make any problem fade away.
“I had a herniated disc in my back and it crushed the nerves into my legs. I just went to get out of bed one day and fell out on to the floor. They gave me a fifty-fifty chance of ever walking again, and I took it,” Darcy said.
We can’t even imagine how it felt like to wake up one day and realize you are probably not going to be able to stand or walk on your feet ever again. This tragedy that struck him only taught him how life is totally unpredictable so we need to do our best to live every single day to the fullest. The experience also made him even more devoted to his loving family. His wife was his biggest support and he describes the relationship with her as ‘a solid, solid unit.’
Barry chose to perform Elvis Presley’s “The Wonder of You” and judges were stunned how his voice actually resembled that of the King of Rock.
The lyrics of this melody showed how he felt for his loved ones. He poured his heart and soul on that stage, confident in what he had to give Ireland and the whole world. His singing was accompanied by loud clapping and ovations. It looked like the country found their new sweetheart.
This man hit every note just perfectly, including the high tones that are quite demanding to master. But with his family by his side, Barry would stop at nothing. They proudly watched as their husband and a father stole the hearts of the crowd. This sweet moment became even better when one of the judges, Louis Walsh, decided this awesome performance should be awarded with a Golden Buzzer. Barry was left in tears of joy.
This guy knows that with the right attitude everything is possible.
Barry made a lasting impression on everyone who got to listen to him singing. As for us, we say he’s an inspiration and a proof that dreams do come true.
Is there any fan of the films who hasn’t seen ‘Back to the Future’? Or the TV show ‘Spin City’? I bet there isn’t such guy. We all know Michael J. Fox’s contributions to these films. He is one of the most talented actors and one-of-a-kind comedian. His marvellous skills earned him millions of fans around the globe and the number is rising. But, as we know, he couldn’t give his maximum in his acting career. Parkinson’s changed his whole life.
It was in 1991 that Michael had found out that he had the Parkinson’s disease. The symptoms that appeared initially were concluded by the doctors – Michael was going to be another figure on the long list of Parkinson’s patients.
Knowing his strong personality, Michael J. Fox hid that information from the public. He was successful in it for just 7 years. Then he informed the general public. At that moment his fans found out what Michael was fighting with during the last seven years. That must have been a terrible period in the actor’s life.
Unfortunately, Michael could not peacefully fight the Parkinson’s. During the interview, where he talks about the Parkinson’s, he reveals to his fans that he has been simultaneously fighting with another illness as well. According to his account, just recently, problems with the motor controls have appeared. In other words, he was losing control and had problems walking or standing upright. All of these symptoms made him see the doctors once again.
The careful analysis showed that Michael has got some problems with his spine. Luckily, the spots shown on the screening turned out to be benign. The medical team explained that it is not life-threatening, but needed a complex surgery. Michael agreed to it.
We do not know anything about the surgery, since it is confidential, but we do know Michael J. Fox is better. Instead of telling us about the surgery itself, he tells us how the illness affected him. He says:
“I did it all, and eventually people asked me to do some acting. Last August I was supposed to go to work. I woke up, walked into the kitchen to get breakfast, misstepped and I went down. I fractured the hell out of my arm. I ended up getting 19 pins and a plate. It was such a blow.”
Michael J. Fox again amazes us. His strong spirit of not giving up is just amazing. His fight continues and he is prepared to get over all obstacles just to normalize his life, of course, as the circumstance allows.
Additionally, in the interview, Michael talks about his old struggle with the Parkinson’s. He is actively involved in the fight against this neurological disease and he seems to be eager to level up people’s awareness of this terrible illness. He’s just an amazing person with strong personal attitude.
Love is that powerful force that makes this world go round.
When two people fall in love, they’d do anything to be together. But what happens when the society is judgmental over the choice you made about whom to spend the rest of your life with? I guess these days, many wouldn’t even care what others say of their relationship, but back in the day things were quite different. When Howard Foster and Myra Clark fell for each other, the surrounding said no. Why? Because these two lovebirds had different skin color.
Howard was well aware how his relation to Myra would only bring troubles for her, so no matter how much he adored her, he knew it was for the best if the two split. When he recalls those high school days, he says how this decision was the most difficult one he had to ever make.
“I remember just sitting in my car and crying, because it was not an easy decision. I really did love her,” said Howard.
The break-up was inevitable, and both remember how they felt when the time for that last goodbye came. As they went separate ways they waved at each other for one last time, but they somehow knew deep inside they would meet again.
“I really think that wave was, I’ll see you later,” she said.
Time passed by, and Howard and Myra continued with their life. Myra never got married as Howard remained her only true love. Howard on the other hand did get married, but it didn’t last long.
It is as though life wanted for them to be together again, because their love was honest and true, and their relationship broke because of the society and all those people who expressed racist beliefs.
It was in 2014, when Howard’s and Myra’s destinies crossed again. A mutual friend of theirs thought it would be nice if they reunite and reconnect.
That so much-anticipated reunion was full of emotions and resembled a script from the most romantic movie. They were by their side again and now they wouldn’t let anything or anyone stay on their way to happiness. Racism wasn’t something that scared them any longer.
“For me, the fact that I was sitting there holding her hands is something that I thought would never happen,” said Howard. “And I was not letting her go.”
A year after that faithful encounter that took four decades to take place, the lovebirds committed to each other and wowed to love and cherish until the rest of time.
The way Howard and Myra talk of their love with sparks in their eyes is the kind of affection we don’t see that often.
Kindness and compassion are so rare these days that whenever we hear stories of people caring and being gentle to those around them, we hail them heroes. However, the dream that being nice to others and offering a helping hand to the less fortunate would became our everyday reality will never fade away. Individuals like the 8-year-old Hüseyin el-Hasan are constant reminder that our faith in humanity should never be lost.
This loving boy’s life was rough even from the start. Being a Syrian, he and his family witnessed gruesome acts and felt what it’s like to be in the middle of the war. During his life, Hüseyin has experienced more tragedies than anyone can endure. Luckily, the family found a shelter in the Turkish city of Kilis where they live as refugees.
One would believe that someone like Hüseyin, who had a tough childhood and was surrounded by meanness wouldn’t know how to be compassionate, but this sweet boy never lost his goodwill and the ability to show love.
Recently, Hüseyin stumbled upon an injured god that was helplessly lying at the side of the road. Whoever hit it with their vehicle didn’t take the time to pull over and check on the dog. Luckily, this sweet boy was there to make sure it would make it until help arrived. He even went home, took his only blanket, and covered the dog with it wanting to keep it warm.
When animal control service finally arrived they could see Hüseyin next to the shivering dog. He never though of leaving it’s side. Unfortunately, due to the severe injuries, the animal passed on its way to the hospital.
It was devastating for Hüseyin to learn of the loss of the dog he wanted to save so badly. He was however happy to know it didn’t die feeling alone and not cared for. That poor creature’s last moments of life were full of compassion and sympathy.
After this story reached more people, among which the city’s mayor, he decided to personally pay the brave boy a visit and thank him for what he had done for an animal in need. Hüseyin was given a new blanket and some other presents and was told his action that day represented the best in humanity, and we all need more of that in our life and our community.
People of Kilis, as well as Hüseyin’s family are all proud of this little hero. He is a proof how we should all live by the values young kids possess.
Google has proved many times that its products are very useful and handy in the everyday life. Google Maps and Google Street View in particular are the two Google products that are not just useful, but sometimes quite essential for finding your way out of a certain location problem.
However, Google Maps and especially Google Street View give us the pleasure to see something more than a map. Unintentionally, Google Street View lets us see some everyday personal things, violent captured moments and even some hilarious situations. The story from Kumage, Japan is equally hilarious and cute.
The moment one little dog saw the Google Team’s van on the street, it immediately ‘fell in love’.
And what does a dog do when it sees something interesting?
It gets the initial position…
… and starts chasing! I mean, real chase!
The moment you think the chase will be short…
…is the moment when you are mistaken. The dog does not give up!
These photos amused thousands of people on the Internet. The dog’s interest in the vehicle and his decision to ‘get the van’ is so cute. This unexpected ‘intruder’ in the camera’s frames is just adorable. People’s reactions are excellent.
See how ‘stubborn’ this dog is!
The dog’s plan was apparently to follow the car up the end of the street.
Luckily, the street is a dead end.
Now the dog can relax a bit.
Dogs, and animals in general, pleasantly surprise us. This situation in Japan is an evidence of that. No wonder why dogs are one of the most loved pets in world!
You never know when the tragedy will hits your family. One moment you enjoy the beauty of life, and the next you struggle with the a deadly threat. Those moments are difficult, and knowing that there is nothing you can do is even more painful.
This is what exactly happened to Moore-Williams family and that shook them like nothing else by then.
Lee and Francesa’s love resulted with giving birth to two beautiful kids, Bella and her brother Bobby. Until Bella turned 14 months, everything was perfect and lovely. But, then, something terrible happened. Bella was diagnosed with Mitochondrial disease.
The disease devastated the family and made the kid suffer a lot. She started losing hair, she got chest infection and Bella even started losing her abilities to move. All of these things added to the doctor’s announcement that they do not expect her to survive crushed the family. Francesa recalls:
“We were told three times that it’s not looking like she was going to survive, so every day we were sat at her bedside praying.”
After several unsuccessful attempts to take Bella off the ventilators, the doctors gave up. Francesa adds that those moments were “very traumatic and we had the whole family by our sides”.
As the end was approaching, their saying goodbye to the little angel was inevitable.
The family gathered around the young patient and took, what was supposed to be, their last photo with Bella. Soon afterwards the ventilator was switched off, they kissed the girl and were left in tears.
However, a miracle happened in the next 30 minutes. Bella started moving and crying.
Bella started showing signs of life and the hopes were back on. Doctors examined the girls once again, now without her being attached to the ventilator, and they stated that the girl will indeed survive.
That was the best piece of news they got in their lives.
Francea says:
’30 minutes later her oxygen levels were back up to 100 per cent and the traumatised parents were later told Bella would survive.’
Bella’s recovery is still ongoing. However, the life-threatening conditions are long gone. With the help of the pills, she may continue enjoying her life with her lovely family.
Bella is a fighter and she proved that love can do miracles. Her parents’ last kiss provoked some higher power that gave her life back. We hope for the best!
“She’s about eight months behind where she should be but doctors are confident she will pick up quite quickly. She’s at nursery and to look at her you wouldn’t think she’s been through what she has” – says Francesa.
Being a parent means undertaking responsibilities and putting actions into work, whenever there is need of them. You always have to be prepared to find your way out of an unpleasant situation that you kid, especially baby, might put you in.
When you are home you can easily solve the issues concerning your kids. However, when you travel and you have to move around the globe, even the minor problems can be embarrassing or even quite serious. All of these things were taken into consideration by a young mother that traveled from Korea to the United States.
This story would not have been known to us if Dave Corona did not share the story and the images on Facebook. The normal regular flight from Korea to the States turned out to be quite uncommon and very surprising.
The flight from Korea to the USA lasts 10 hours, which is very long for a baby. Therefore, the mother came up with some unique ideas of settling her fears that the baby will disturb all the passengers in the plane. All passengers on the plane got, believe it or not, a bag full of candies and a very interesting note.
The note says:
This impressed and pleasantly surprised all the passengers. They marvelled at the mother’s attention to details and care for other people’s comfort. Buying all those candies, printing and cutting all those notes is a time-consuming task, but the mother endured all of that just for the baby and passengers’ well being. Incredible!
Since Dave was a cameraman, he shot some photos and shared the story on-line. This story amazed thousands of people. Even though the baby was calm and did not cry during the flight, the gifts and the note were still recognized and appreciated by all passengers. Their surprise was obvious.
There are not many people like this mother in the world. She deserves all words of compliments and admiration. Well done!
Military career requires a lot of dedication and sacrifice. It is not unusual for the military personnel to spend substantial amount of time on military base or some other defence camp. This automatically means spending less and less time with the family and the dearest ones. This affects the personal lives, and families have been experiencing difficult times dealing with such a situation. Enduring those difficult moments is a crucial for keeping the family together.
Young Haley from Missouri is aware of all of these things. Her father, a soldier, has not been home for some time due to his professional engagements. However, when he comes back home, he does not show up in front of her daughter as well all do. He prepares a touching surprise.
While Haley is playing her instrument during the school’s Veteran Day’s show, she is asked to drop the instrument and step forward. Unaware of what is happening, she obeys the requests. She stands up and she starts reading the paper she got from the organizers. At the beginning she thinks it is just another paper prepared for the Veteran’s Day, but she soon finds out it’s her father she is reading about. That astonishes her. By the time she finishes the paper, she sees her father in front of her. Haley cannot believe what she sees.
The emotional meeting in these unusual circumstances is just adorable. The father-daughter hugging and overflow of emotions warmed millions of people’s hearts. Even though the surprise made her cry in front of the camera, she does not regret it, and she is more than happy to see her father in person. A moment to remember for the rest of her life!
See the surprise for yourself by clicking the ‘play’ button below.
Living separated from your family and from your friends is undoubtedly very difficult. Not being able to hug or kiss your loved ones while being miles apart is very painful and often requires a lot of strength to overcome the emotions.
There are many people who live or work in areas far from the birthplace where their closest family members reside. Whether the reason for staying separated is a work or study, the consequences are the same – we all feel homesick. Quite usually, being in a such situation does not mean that we struggle more with the professional tasks, but with the emotions that overtake us. This is equally difficult for those that go and for those that stay at home.
This battle with the distances and emotions is perfectly caught on camera, as it can be seen on the video below. The reactions and emotions are amazing.
The video posted on the Internet shows how the youngest member of the family struggles with his brother’s absence and ultimately with the surprise they have prepared for him.
His older brother has not been home for some quite long period and decides to come back. However, he, with the help of his family, designs a plan how to show up in front of his younger brother. He came up with quite interesting thing. They blindfold the youngest member of the family, while the older brother stands just behind him. To add a bit more suspense to the moment, they give him his brother’s hat in his hand and they ask him to guess what the object is. Very soon the boy guesses, but he still has no clue why such an object is given to him. Not until he sees his brother next to him.
Seeing his brother results with overflow of emotions. The boys starts hugging his brother while tears run on his face. The moment is so emotional and touching that leaves no one indifferent. The ending of the video is priceless.
Take a look at this touching video and see if you can hold your tears!
Everyone who has seen a dance group performing an act is left thrilled. But, watching a dance group performing a dance that includes high kicks, then the thrill turns to amazement. Adding to this the Emerald Belles you have the perfect show for the dance lovers.
The Emerald Belles took part in the Showmakers of America Dance Competition, and they did a wonderful job. Learning from experience and past competitions, our expectations for the dance team is nothing less than high. Once again the team deserved every single cheer from the crowd.
Showing up in blue tights, the ladies immediately started forming the initial position. The triangular formation quickly transforms into their well-planned movements and postures. The extremely well planned movements and synchronisation with the music was just mesmerizing. Even the toughest haters could not find any mistake or missed beat. They were simply wonderful.
Dances that include high kicks are not an easy act to perform. These types of performances require speed, high level of concentration, extremely good team work and excellent synchronisation.
Skipping one move or just slight alteration of a well planned position can destroy the whole act. People usually enjoy watching these types of dances because of the energy the team spreads across the crowd. You can feel the energy wave just by watching the show.
High kick moves can be detected right away. The regular sharp lines of the formations, the energy, the fast movements and the incredible synchronisation with the music thrills millions of people. We have often seen such dances, not only during dancing competitions, but also during sports games. Famous dance groups, like Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, have been entertaining people for years.
The challenge of having a perfectly synchronized high kick dance is a difficult task. It requires a lot of practice, remembering the moves and following the instructions that are given. A minor ‘change’ of the plan can result in a disastrous chaotic performance.
The outfit of the dancers is adding an extra touch to the act. The universal outfit of the dancers usually tries to reflect the mood and the energy of the dance itself. The Emerald Belles again nailed it with the outfit and they prepared a wonderful show for the audience.
We recommend you to watch the video below and enjoy the great Emerald Belles’ performance.
To do a bad thing, maliciously violent act, is a very easy task. All you have to do is harm someone you prefer. However, to do a good thing, a thing that will dramatically change other people’s lives takes a lot of courage and desire. You have to believe in it in order to succeed.
Kelly Lively is an excellent example of such good caring person. This well-mannered woman from Indiana did not hesitate doing a lot of sacrifices just to provide love and support to another human being.
Kelly’s devotion to good-doing has been seen through a concrete example. The heart-melting story of Kelly and Marcus puts everyone on the verge of tears. There are very good reasons for that.
Kelly is a nurse and she sees people’s suffering on a daily basis. However, one child just touched her so deeply that it changed the lives of both of them. While volunteering for different NGOs as a nurse, she was in a contact with a lot of patients and social workers. One day, while doing her job, she met a social worker talking about a boy, 13 months old baby, who was abandoned by his drug-addicted mother. Kelly also found out that the boy was not only exposed to dangerous drugs, but also he was born prematurely, which gave him some 30% chance of survival. That just broke Kelly’s heart.
In addition to the terrible circumstances he was born in, the boy was left to be institutionalized. In other words, no one liked to foster care him nor even formally adopt him. That was the turning point for Kelly – she decided to adopt Marcus.
In 2017, Kelly and her sister went to meet Marcus. Their photo posted on Facebook tells everything. Kelly was too glad to take Marcus home and Marcus’ smile, as told by Kelly, was the sign that her love and care were accepted. She also adds that she is thankful for God’s good will and making that happen. Kelly’s sister, Tammy, adds:
“He’s a little fighter…all he needed was a mommy to love him and a chance.”
Marcus’ road to recovery was long. He and his Mom Kelly spent a lot of sleepless nights, fought the problems he was facing with and gave everything just to normalize his health. Nowadays, the boy still has problems with his speech since he has got trach tube. However, all those problems are not obstacle to continue fighting and loving each other.
Kelly’s undertaking was even prised by the doctors themselves. They did not expect Marcus to survive, but they add that thanks to Kelly, ‘the Angel from Heaven’, Marcus lives a second life.
Kelly’s life wasn’t smooth as well. Besides the redheaded sweet boy, there are two more additional reasons for her decision of adopting the cutie. Her inability to carry a child made her life very difficult and hopeless. In addition to that, her loss of her both parents made her extremely lonely. All of these things made her think about the idea of fostering. Luckily, she met Marcus and the wish came true.
Regarding the difficult moments of her life, Kelly says:
“The same day that broke my heart when I lost my mom was the same day I met my joy. I know that God brought us together.”
Hopefully we will hear about other similar cases in the future. We believe there are a lot of people like Kelly. The world needs more caring and lovely people, people that are nor selfish and egoist.
As we grow up, all of us find some kind of idol in the faces of famous people. Whether the idol is a famous music star or some prominent sportsman, the selection is great. This is so true even for already famous and well-established celebrities. Michael Buble proves just the same thing.
We all know Barbra Streisand, I mean, who hasn’t heard of this extremely talented and prominent artist. For millions of people she is one of the most talented film stars, and for additional millions of fans she the best singer ever. Barbra is the music idol for many generations and she still shines on the stage. Michael Buble is one of those loyal fans.
The Canadian famous singer enjoys his fame and success he has achieved. With all those albums and songs and his established position in the music industry, he still thinks that the image is not complete. His wish to sing with Streisand is the thing that will fix that problem. And fixed it is!
Michael got an offer by Barbra to do a duet of the song ‘It Had To Be You’. Her idea was that he should be the one that will stand next to him while this amazing song is performed. Michael does not wait for a second offer – he crabs the chance immediately.
However, as an idol, Barbra’s presence during the recording session made him quite nervous. Therefore, he decided to calm down his tension by opening the session with a joke! He said:
“This is the cheapest recording session I’ve ever had… because you’re paying for it!”
Barbra isn’t one of the world’s most famous artists for no reason. She sensed Michael’s tension in advance and she prepared a special recording session. Knowing that Michael is a fan of big band style of songs, she did just the same thing. The live orchestra behind them did the trick. Both of them did a marvellous job and the emotions they are sending are just wonderful.
Barbara is known for experimenting with the music. This experiment with the live band during recording session is just another exercise of her skills. Regarding it, she says:
“This is the way I’ve always recorded. Since my first album. I’ve recorded with an orchestra. It’s so much fun! I get inspired by what the orchestra’s playing and it makes me do other things that I haven’t thought of until that moment singing with them.”
The outcome of Barbra and Michael’s collaboration is incredible. Enjoy the song!
Meet ‘Susan’ – one of the most hated and most egoistic materialist in the world. Her ridiculous story that appeared on Facebook disgusted millions of followers on this social network. The thing that she did during the day that supposed to be her best is not under the scope of any definition of normality. Follow the story below to see what kind of selfish and immoral people live among us.
Everything started with ‘an honest confession’ and Susan’s intention of convincing the people that her view of the event that follows is the right one. She achieved the opposite effect. She informed the on-line friends that her wedding with her college sweetheart had been cancelled and they separated. However, that was not the thing that shocked the community.
Unaware of the absurdity of the text she was going to post, Susan continues writing to her group. The woman explains that she and her ex-husband have been together since college studies and she even adds that they have a child together.
The couple’s romance was planned to last longer and they started imagining their wedding. Susan and her husband started dreaming of a high-class wedding. The whole time they were together they were saving money for the wedding. However, expensive weddings cost a lot and they needed additional 45,000 dollars in order to be able to pay for the event. So, Susan did what she was best at – ruining things.
She asked all the guest that planned to come to the wedding to give them $1000 or $1500 as a wedding gift. She tried to explain that the money will be used to pay for the party, or in other words, to pay their own bill. Susan’s selfish way of seeing things can be seen from this extract of her announcement:
“I SPECIFICALLY, I mean SPECIFICALLY asked for cash gifts. How could we have OUR wedding that WE dream of without proper funding? We’d sacrificed so much and only asked each guest for around $1,500. My maid of honor (who shall not be named) pledged $5,000 along with her planning services. . .
Like, we made it CLEAR. If you couldn’t contribute, you weren’t invited to our exclusive wedding. It’s a once and a lifetime party.”
Since the number of people that gave money was little, she wasn’t able to pay wedding bill. The long-expected happy day turned out to be a nightmare. She even opened a fund rising page, but that was a total failure as well.
Her reasonable husband told her to organize a smaller wedding in Las Vegas, and this is how she responded to that:
“He wanted those cheap, raggedy, filthy, whore like Vegas weddings. Am I some Hooch piece of f—ing trash, a hooker?”
“My ex left the room and didn’t apologize for his horrid suggestion.”
The end of Susan’s confession is just terrible. If you haven’t built enough hatred towards her, take your time reading the end:
Fortunately for her, we do not know her real identity. If it was the other way around, we doubt she could have a nice comfortable life after that outrageous episode of her past.
