When baby Redd was born in 2012, his mom and dad, Patricia and Dale Williams, were overjoyed. At the same time, they knew their bundle of joy was different than most babies they have seen. Redd’s hair was as white as snow, and he looked adorable beyond words. However, when he turned around two months old, they noticed that his eyes would constantly move side to side.
Worried that something could be wrong, they googled the symptoms and were almost certain that Redd had albinism.
The first thing they did was making an appointment with an optometrist and genetic specialists to help with an official diagnosis. And, it was soon made official; Redd had Oculocutaneous Albinism Type one (OCA1) a condition which affects 1 in 17,000 people globally.
When Redd was born, the hospital staff were excited over his looks and everyone wanted to see the baby with the white hair. Patricia believed that Redd would overgrow this and that his hair would turn darker over time, but now that he was diagnosed with albinism, she knew that his white hair and blue eyes which would sometimes sparkle red in certain lights were there to stay.
Then, in 2018, Patricia and Dale welcomed son Rockwell who was born with the same condition as his older brother.
Sadly, both Redd and Rockwell experienced hard time at kindergarten and at school as their peers made fun of their looks. Their older brother Gage, who doesn’t have albinism, has been very protective of them, but still, the bullying has been present.
Patricia also did in her power to teach her children to accept their looks and learn how to love themselves the way they are, but then something that disturbed them happened. Someone used a photo of Rockwell that Patricia shared on her social media and turned it into a meme. The parents asked for it to be deleted, but its was already shared all over the internet.
Realizing there was nothing they could do, they decided to ignore the incident and not let it affect their lives. Instead, they became advocates who want to raise awareness about albinism. After Patricia gained a lot of followers on her social media because of Rockwell’s photo which went viral, she received plenty of questions about her sons, and that’s when she realized there were a lot of people out there who knew little about albinism, and what they knew came from obscure movies with little representation.
As of Redd, he underwent an eye surgery to correct his strabismus and shifted from a private school for blind children to a public one. The surgery was a brilliant decision for the family as it helped Redd a lot. They chose surgery over Redd wearing eye patches because they didn’t want him to attract further attention, and with that, to lessen the bullying.
On April 28, 2023, Patricia shared a clip of Rockwell from his school’s “Western Day.” This time around, the little boy was met with a lot of love and appreciation on social media as opposed to the times when was called names.
Both Redd and Rockwell are now thriving.

Sofia Vergara, one of the most beautiful women of Hollywood, turned 51 and looks as stunning as ever.
She celebrated her birthday surrounded with her loved ones in Italy. In an Instagram post, she posed posed on a patio with the water in the background. The post, which she translated from Spanish, read, “Waking up here on my 51st birthday! Though my knees are already hurting, I’m still in good health and have enough of energy—and joy—to live! I appreciate all the messages.”

It was obvious Sofia had a lot of fun on her birthday which could be seen from the various photos she posted on which she and her friends could be seen blowing out firecracker candles on a cake and being serenaded at her birthday dinner. However, what made many worried was the absence of her husband Joe Manganiello.
He, however, did posted a tribute to his wife on her birthday, but fans believe it was ‘cold.’ With a low resolution photo of the two, Joe simply wrote, “¡¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sofía!!!”
The comment section of the post was full of concerned fans as one wrote: “Joe, I hope you guys are ok, that was a very different(cold) happy birthday wish to your wife, compare to previous ones!. [sad face emoji]”
Another said: “Something is definitely up. He hasn’t commented on her photos she’s been posted. hmmm…….”
Sofia ‘shared’ her special day with her puppy Bubbles who celebrated his 10th birthday. “Feliz 10th cumpleaños my sweet, vicious Bubbles! No matter how many times u bite me I will always love u,” she wrote.
Heidi Klum commented, “Happy Birthday Bubbles from auntie Heidi,” while a fan said, “She bites you because you’re sweet!!!”

May 6, 2004, marked the end of an era! It’s the date the final episode of the cult series Friends aired. Millions of fans from all over the world agree that there never will be another show like this one, and we feel the same. What is interesting about the show is that today, over 28 years after it premiered, Friends is as popular as back in the day as new generations discover the iconic series on Netflix. Honestly, I have watched it many times so far, but it somehow never grows old.
One of the characters, each of which made the series what it is today, was Chandler, played by Matthew Perry. His wit and love for Monica, his on-screen other half, made millions fall for him. Over the years, he has dated many beautiful women, among which Yasmine Bleeth, Julia Roberts, and Lizzy Caplan.
However, as time passed by, Perry’s appearance changed a lot, and many agree that he’s unrecognizable nowadays. Among the rest, he gained extra pounds and appeared with bloated face, and “looking lonely and sad.”
One of the reasons for this has been his addiction to alcohol and opiates for which he opened up in his memoir. According to the actor himself, at the height of his fame, he would take 55 Vicodin pills a day, and “over the next 20 years, he would check into rehab 15 times, attend 6,000 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and undergo 14 stomach surgeries.”
Recently, he was spotted by paparazzi in a parking lot in Beverly Hills wearing a soiled T-shirt, and appearing unwashed and unshaven. He was also wearing laceless sneakers.
Perry spoke of his near-death experiences, and one of them, probably the most recent one, is when he suffered from a perforated bowel, also known as gastrointestinal perforation and burst bowel some two years ago.
The Friends star, however, is doing all in his power to battle his addictions. One of the things he does, except for rehab, is participating in public discussions during which he speaks of his drug addiction and his efforts to maintain long-term sobriety.
Speaking of the time he was filming Friends, and how he had troubles doing that because of his addictions, Perry told ABC News, “The majority of it consisted of booze and drugs. I believe I did a good job of concealing it, but in the end, others were able to figure it out.”
Speaking of his life, he wrote in his memoir which was published in 2022 that nowadays, he is “sitting in a huge house, overlooking the ocean, with no one to share it with, save a sober companion, a nurse, and a gardener twice a week.”
We truly wish Matthew Perry manages to get back on track and turns his life for the better.

Thanksgiving is that time of the year we are all eagerly waiting because it means we’ll get to spend the day with those we love the most, our precious family and friends we are thankful for.
However, this Thanksgiving will be remembered by one family as the worst day of their life. On this day that was supposed to be all about happiness and love, a life was lost.
Oakley Debbs, an 11-year-old boy made one wrong choice, and his parents failed to help him, and now he is in Heaven and his mom and dad will forever grief over the loss.

The family was getting ready for the celebration and wanted to make sure everything was perfect, so they put the turkey in the oven, and ordered a bunch of tasty sweets to offer their guests with. But, little did they know that the basket of treats and the cake which was inside would be the reason for their son’s death.
Everything looked so delicious that no one could resist the smell of the freshly baked bread and cookies. Oakley was curious to take a bite of the cake that was looking at him from the table placed in the corner of the room so he treated himself with a tiny piece of it not knowing it contained nuts. Oakley had a mild allergy to peanuts and the reaction was immediate.
He rushed to his mother who started reading the ingredient’s list. It contained walnuts that triggered the allergy, so Merrill didn’t think twice before giving her son Benadryl which seemed to work just fine. Oakley started feeling better, and he even went out to play with his cousins.
“It went away. Whatever was going on inside of him we had no knowledge of. He seemed fine. He went out to play with his cousins, took a shower and brushed his teeth.”
But as soon as the family called the night off, Oakley started complaining. He told her mom:
“I’m getting sick again.”
This time, the symptoms were way more severe and the mother simply didn’t have time to react. She reached for the phone and called 911.
“He started throwing up and from there it was a tornado of issues. We called 911. By the time the ambulance got there – about 10 minutes later- he was blue.”

When the first respondents arrived there was nothing that could be done. They gave the boy two doses of epinephrine but it was too late for him to be saved. Oakley was brought to the hospital where doctors fought for his life for four days, but at the end they had to let go. The boy was pronounced dead.
His mother can’t forget that day. She had spent days blaming herself for not giving him more intensive medication in the first place. She should have chosen EpiPen over the Benadryl. But, the damage was done and Merrill couldn’t get over the thought that he could have been alive if she had chosen differently.
Dr. Ruchi Gupta, an associate professor of pediatrics at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and director of the Food Allergies Outcomes Program at Northwestern, told TODAY that delayed allergic reaction like Oakley’s is a mystifying subject.
“We do not know enough about delayed reactions like these that seem to get better but then progress rapidly to death. That is why it is so critical to know how to identify a reaction and when and how to use epinephrine.”
The family later wrote an open letter to everyone who knew and loved their son as well as those who provided them with endless support.
“‘Love, love and more love. You are all so beautiful. Thank you, everyone, for being with me, especially during this time. I appreciate how strong you have been for me. No one could have done anything else Wednesday night. No one is to blame. If you think you are… DON’T. Don’t PLEASE!
Thank you for everyone wanting to help me. Having a family so thoughtful and caring who loves to laugh makes me the happiest boy. Support each other with determined hearts. Be there to support or to be held. It is the way to get through this time. I am grateful to be part of this family. I am blessed by the grace of God to be in it…
Be cheerful happy and enthusiastic. Show your courage, be at peace. Love your life and live it. That is the best thing you can do for me.
Look for me in the rainbow I will always be there.'”
Merrill hopes the story of her son’s sudden passing will raise awareness in schools about allergies and it will result in incorporating nut ban. She founded a foundation called “Red Sneakers” that educates people on the dangers of food allergies. This mother who loved her son as only a mother can love will always live with the pain of his loss. She did everything in her power to save her boy’s life, but it was simply impossible.

All animals are meant to be loved, but sadly, many of them are treated badly and often neglected. A lot of them end up on the streets as strays or at shelters praying for the right person to come across and provide them with a forever home.
A tiny kitten was placed inside a paper bag and thrown in a dumpster. Luckily, a local hospital worker heard the desperate meowing and contacted the local police to investigate.

Once at the scene, an Officer from Carilion Police looked inside the dumpster and that’s when he noticed the poor animal stuffed inside a paper bag. He quickly took it out and brought him inside the police car.
The kitten, which was named Toby, was then taken to the Carilion Clinic and placed under the care of Angels of Assisi, an animal shelter in Roanoke, Virginia.

Luckily, the shelter managed to find Toby a foster home. Once he’s old enough, he will be given up for adoption.
Toby’s life could have ended tragically had it not been for all the kind people involved in his rescue.
Once his story was shared, people couldn’t help but praise Toby’s rescuers as well as share their anger over the person who threw him inside the dumpster to die.
“Nothing but a monster would do that to a baby,” one commenter wrote on Facebook. “Thank you all for saving baby.”
“I can’t even imagine how anyone could do this,” another wrote. “So thankful this baby was saved & I hope they catch whoever did this.”

The death of Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of the only daughter of the King of Rock and Roll, left many of her fans in devastation. The news of her sudden passing was shared by her mother Priscilla Presley who wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
Mere days before she went into cardiac arrest in her home, Lisa Marie attended the Golden Globes and witnessed actor Austin Butler’s win for the portrayal of her famous father in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis.
Lisa Marie was transferred to a hospital and placed in a medically induced coma but was declared brain dead.

As tributes continue to flow in for Presley, her ex-husband Nicolas Cage broke his silence and opened up about her passing.
“This is devastating news. Lisa had the greatest laugh of anyone I ever met. She lit up every room, and I am heartbroken. I find some solace believing she is reunited with her son Benjamin,” Cage wrote.
Presley was married four times, to Danny Keough, Michael Jackson, and Michael Lockwood.
Lockwood, with whom she shared her twin girls, also issued a statement following Presley’s death saying he is focusing on the girls and helping them cope with their mother’s tragic passing.
Baz Luhrmann also paid tribute, saying: “Over the last year, the entire Elvis movie family and I have felt the privilege of Lisa Marie’s kind embrace. Her sudden, shocking loss has devastated people all around the world. I know her fans everywhere join me in sharing prayers of love and support with her mother, Priscilla, and her wonderful daughters Riley, Finley and Harper.”

Now, six months after her passing, the cause of death has finally been revealed. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner listed the cause of death as “sequelae of small bowel obstruction,” and deeming it “natural.”
“The obstruction was in the form of a strangulated small bowel caused by adhesions that developed after bariatric surgery years ago. This is a known long-term complication of this type of surgery,” the report added.
A small bowel obstruction occurs when the small intestine is blocked – which can often happen due to a number of factors like colon cancer, medication or adhesions (scar tissue) that forms after surgery, the BBC explained.
It has been revealed that the scar tissue on Lisa Marie’s small intestines was a result of weight-loss surgery (also known as bariatric surgery) that she underwent several years ago.
It has also been revealed that the late singer had a history of overmedicating.

The coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla, which took place on May 6 and was watched by around 20 million Britons, represented an important historical and traditional event. It was a day when all eyes were on the British royal family and to the delight of many, everything went according to plan.
On Wednesday, July 5, the King and Queen of Britain were symbolically crowned for the second time in Scotland.
The ceremony took place at St. Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh and the king was presented with the Honors of Scotland – the crown, scepter, and the sword of state – which he received during the service. This ceremony is often referred to as to “a second coronation” and is not an official coronation in its own right but a symbolic event.
King Charles was presented with the legendary Crown of Scotland, which is one of Europe’s oldest surviving crowns and the oldest in Britain, having been made by Scotland’s royal goldsmith, John Mosman, in 1540. This crown was made for James V, who wore it at the coronation of Queen Mary of Guise in 1540, but was first used for an actual coronation when Mary Queen of Scots was crowned.
“By the symbol of this crown, we pledge our loyalty, entrusting you to reign as our king in the service of all your people,” Alexander Douglas-Hamilton, the Duke of Hamilton and Brandon and Scotland’s most senior peer, said as he presented Charles with the crown on a cushion.
“In receiving this crown, I so promise by God’s help,” Charles replied.

The event was a delightful one, but at one point, right upon arrival at the Cathedral, King Charles showed impatience, according to body expert Judy James.
“This appeared to be a more relaxed ceremony for Charles, who shared the spotlight almost evenly with Camilla, William, and Kate, meaning his body language projected less of the ongoing signals of tension and anxiety than at his actual coronation, and he wore a warm, beaming smile most of the time,” James told Mirror.
“He did appear to fuss and fret over Camilla this time, though, and when he did drop the smile and adopt a wary frown with his signature steepled brows, it was when he was turning back in concern to see her get safely in and out of their car or to move to her seat, which was when he also used some of the rapid hand-flicking gestures that tend to signal royal impatience.”
James concluded: “His concern seemed justified as Camilla did appear nervous. Unlike Kate, she lacked the ability to perform a pose of stillness during the service, and her constant patting of her hair or the white plume of her hat were self-checking rituals that hinted at ongoing inner anxiety.”

This wasn’t the first time that King Charles showed frustration and impatience publicly. The same thing happened back in December while he and Camilla visited the Welsh town of Wrexham and he believed it was time to leave but Camilla still chatted with the crowd. He then asked his aids to go and call his wife saying, “Can we try and get her back again? Please, we need to go. I was trying to wait for her, but she goes on,” clearly irritated.
Experts believe that this happened because Charles is under pressure to execute his royal duties to perfection.
“Charles really should have popped back to speak to her in person rather than sounding irritated to other people, or maybe grinned fondly to register ongoing affection,” expert Judy James commented on the matter.

In general, King Charles is mostly in a good mood when in public. He could often be seen smiling and laughing and even sharing jokes with those around him.
Valentine Low, royal correspondent at The Times and author of the royal book Courtiers, Charles is simply putting too much pressure on himself.
“He can vent his fury when things go wrong with his schedule or when he feels that his instructions have not been obeyed, only to calm down moments later when he is assured that his instructions have been followed to the letter after all,” Low told Newsweek.
“‘Oh, thank you so much,’ he will say, the very image of gratitude and contrition. It is a rollercoaster ride, and those close to the king are used to it.

“However, his impatience, according to some close to him, has a deeper cause,” Low wrote in Courtiers. “He acts as if his time is short, which leads to a sense of urgency as if he has only got a few years to get through everything he wants to achieve.
“It goes back to the old observation about Charles: he puts pressure on others because he puts pressure on himself. But the king knows all too well, from his years of frustration as Prince of Wales, that change can be slow to come about.”
Charles and Camilla are usually residing at Birkhall for their summer holiday, but according to the media, the King now wants to follow into his late mother’s footsteps and spend the summer at Balmoral.

A six-year-old boy’s drawing and how his teacher reacted to it caused quite a stir on the internet and divided users’ opinions.
Namely, the parents sharing this story explained how the teacher called them one day and said they needed to go to the school for some serious talk.
Before they went to their son’s school they asked him if he did anything wrong, but he simply replied that his teacher didn’t like what he drew.
“We went in the next day and his teacher pulled out the drawing and said, ‘I asked him to draw his family and he drew this, would you mind explaining?’” the father shared on his social media.
The drawing depicted what looked like four people with cords around their necks. And well, if anyone didn’t know what the boy was trying to draw the drawing itself does seem alarming.
The mom and dad explained that the photo actually showed the family snorkeling off the Bahamas.
The dad’s post, however, opened an online discussion of whether the teacher’s act of alarming them over the drawing was justified or not.
Some said that she should have asked the child about it first, but others argued that a six-year-old could not be even telling the truth.
“This is bloody hysteria,” one person wrote. “Seriously, who needs that drama.”
“Emergency meeting over this? I know it’s not the best drawing but I think it’s pretty clear…” another user wrote.
“What kind of teacher was this?” another wondered. “Children are innocent… they take pleasure from innocent drawings.”
Those in favor of the teacher’s reaction said things like, “I would want to know, even if it’s a false alarm… it’s better safe than sorry,” and “The teacher did the right thing. These interventions have saved lives. Seriously.”

In 2018, then 36-year-old Ariana Sutton gave birth to a healthy baby girl. The family was overjoyed since this was the first child the couple welcomed in their lives. However, as everyone believed that their home and their lives would be filled with nothing but joy, Ariana went through something many new moms experience; postpartum depression.
This condition is way more common than one assumes and affects every 1 in 10 women who give birth.
Ariana’s husband, Tyler Sutton, who works as a police officer in Massachusetts said his wife had never experienced any mental issues before she gave birth, but when Melody was born, it was evident Ariana had a hard time.
“We weren’t that familiar with it, so we were very much in the dark, both of us.” Tyler explained. “I came home one morning, and I just couldn’t recognize the person sitting in front of me. So, we dropped my daughter off with her grandmother and got her to the hospital.” Ariana was hospitalized twice but returned to her old self with some medication and treatment. A happy mother and dance instructor, remembered by those who knew her as “warm” and “upbeat.”

A couple of years later, Ariana fell pregnant again, this time with twins.
The babies were born on May 23, 2023, and this time the family was already aware that Ariana could again experience postnatal depression so they were ready to provide as much help as possible. “When we finally got pregnant with the twins, we came up with a plan. We got a team together,” Tyler disclosed.
“What happened to her over the span of a few weeks happened this time around within a couple of days,” he said. “And even though we had a plan in place, there was no way for us to predict that this would happen so quickly and so suddenly.” Unfortunately, this mom’s symptoms came on sooner and stronger than they had before and shortly after giving birth to her twins Everly Irene and Rowan Stephen, Ariana committed suicide.
“It takes a very strong person to ask for help,” devastated Tyler explained. “If we could just make it the norm asking for help, instead of [women] feeling shame for not being able to do it themselves, because this is a real thing. It is very, very real, very powerful, very dangerous, and shouldn’t be faced [alone].”
The family started a GoFundMe page to help Tyler spread awareness of postpartum depression.

Tyler also said he wants to see a change in how healthcare providers talk to expectant parents about postpartum depression.
“If there was something that I could start right now, [it would be to] ask the medical community just to make a small change to their routine, and add one more line to their checklist of things to do when they meet with people,” he explained.
We are saddened by this tragic loss of a young mother of three. We hope Tyler stays strong for his three children who will grow up without the love of a mother.

Jeffrey Carlson, best known for the role of transgender character Zoe on the daytime TV series All My Children died Tuesday at the age of 48.
The news of his passing was shared by his friend and Shakespeare Theatre Company co-star Susan Hart, who said that she was “just devastated” to report that the actor died on 6 July.
“Good night my sweet, sweet, sweet prince among men. No words for our despair at losing you Jeffrey Carlson. You were … oh God… no words… so, so loved and adored. For those of you that don’t know, I’m very sorry to share the news that Jeffrey passed away yesterday,” she posted on Facebook. “I have been respectful of his family’s privacy in not sharing the news sooner… also could not breathe or function… still can’t… love to all… just devastated…”
As for now, the cause of death has not yet been revealed.

The actor’s sister, Elizabeth Carlson Gingras, said in a statement that her brother left an impact on many.
“My handsome, brilliant, EXTREMELY talented brother Jeffrey Carlson has gone to be with our brother Gregory Carlson in heaven,” her statement said. “I can’t wrap my head around why this has happened. What I do know is that I will forever cherish our laughs and the deep love we have for each other. He has left such an impact on so many people it’s so hard to find the words to express how special he was. I have so much to say… but my heart isn’t well enough to provide Jeffrey with the words he deserves. I love you so, so much, my beautiful brother. 6/23/1975-7/06/2023.”

From 2003-2004 he starred as Marilyn in the productions of Taboo. In addition to this, the late actor appeared in the 2005 hit Hitch starring Will Smith and Eva Mendes and the 2007 movie The Killing Floor.

On Monday, July 10, it was reported that gifted stagehand Thom Roberts who worked for country music star Randy Travis, as well as for Olivia Newton-John in the past, was killed by his wife Christine, 72.
When emergency services responded to a call at the home on Howard Avenue at around 8pm, Christine told them how she had shot her husband because she believed he was unfaithful, as per an arrest affidavit obtained by Fox News.
The incident was reported by a concerned neighbor who spotted Roberts lying on the porch. As per the affidavit, the neighbor “reported to detectives that the defendant had also told them that she admitted to shooting her husband because she discovered that he had cheated on her.”
Christine was arrested and charged with criminal homicide and a bond set at $100,000.
With Roberts’ passing, Randy Travis lost not only a stagehand but a very dear friend.
“The stage has gone dim with the passing of Thom Roberts. For many years, the Randy Travis band and crew had the opportunity to share the winding roads and the beautiful venues with one of the very best stage lighting technicians in the business,” the musician wrote.
“Thom not only had a magical sense about lighting a stage; but, he had a quiet, charismatic presence that ignited your soul. Always willing, with a ‘can do’ and ‘happy to do it’ attitude. He was a gentle giant of a man that wore a constant smile on his face and carried a song in his heart. One would search a lifetime to find a kinder, gentler spirit. Thom was my friend and I loved him dearly.”
Travis’ post concluded with: “Tonight, I will look toward heaven and am sure I will see flashes of Thom’s handiwork in the night sky — letting us know he is home, and all is well.”
We are so very sorry for this loss. At the time of his passing, Roberts was 68 years old.

When they were still a thing, Melanie Griffith got a tattoo of her then-husband Antonio Banderas. However, when they called their marriage quits, she was left with his name on her skin, something many were convinced she regretted which could be seen just days following their split when she covered her tattoo up with makeup for a film festival awards ceremony in Italy.
Their marriage was finalized in 2015, after 18 years. News were that Melanie underwent laser removal treatments for the infamous tattoo until disappeared completely.

Melanie and Antonio first met and fell for one another during the shooting of the 1995 romantic comedy Too Much. They tied the knot a year later when they also welcomed their daughter Stella.
This was Melanie’s fourth marriage and following the separation, the couple shared a statement which read, “We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost twenty years marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together – Melanie & Antonio.”
Well, they indeed remained close throughout the years and showed mutual respect for one another. “I am not married with Melanie anymore, but she is my family,” Antonio said of his ex during a 2019 interview. “She is probably one of my best friends, if not the best friend that I have. My family is there, Dakota, Little Estella and Alexander.”

He even recalled the first time he laid eyes on her, saying, “The first time I went to the Academy Awards after we got a nomination for Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, we got on the red carpet and I saw this blonde woman and I knew her because I saw movies of her, but I didn’t remember [her name] at the time.”
He continued the story, ‘So, I said to Pedro Almodóvar, “Who is she? Who is she? What is her name?” Pedro said, “That’s Melanie Griffith!” I said, ‘That’s it. Oh my God.’ Six years later, I was married to her.”

With the summer being in full swing, the royal children, Prince George and Prince Louis, as well as Princess Charlotte can have a full blast. Especially Prince George who had a prominent role during his grandfather’s coronation.
All the three children attend the prestigious Lambrook School which provides students with plenty of activities such as taking care of animals and doing various sports like cricket, rugby, football, and golf among the rest. If they want to attend any of the school trips offered, the students at this distinguished school need to raise money on their own, which teaches them responsibility, something Kate and William would like to install in their children.

Recently, Prince William presented his five-year campaign to end homelessness in the UK. During the occasion, he spoke of his children and said how he wants them to be aware that they are privileged.
“When I left this morning, one of the things I was thinking was, ‘When is the right time to bring George or Charlotte or Louis to a homeless organization?’ I think when I can balance it with their schooling, they will definitely be exposed to it,” he told The Times.
“On the school run, we talk about what we see. When we were in London, driving backwards and forwards, we regularly used to see people sitting outside supermarkets, and we’d talk about it.”
Prince William added: “I’d say to the children, ‘Why are they there? What’s going on?’ I think it’s in all our interests, it’s the right thing to do, to expose the children, at the right stage, in the right dialogue, so they have an understanding. They [will] grow up knowing that actually, do you know what, some of us are very fortunate, some of us need a little bit of a helping hand, some of us need to do a bit more where we can to help others improve their lives.”

Over the years, Kate and William spoke of their desire to provide their children with normal childhood. However, a couple of weeks ago, the young prince was spotted alongside his parents looking around Eton College, the same boarding school his father and his uncle attended in the past. This made many question the Prince and Princess’ speech of keeping their children grounded but yet sending them to schools which cost a lot to attend.
“I find it fascinating because the Princess of Wales is spending so much of her life talking about giving children a better start in life, and part of that, she and her advisors have talked about reducing inequality,” Express royal correspondent Richard Palmer said.
“And there you have her children at a fee-paying independent school, almost certain to go to an expensive fee-paying boarding school later on.”

Former BBC royal expert Jennie Bond added that normal childhood and a boarding school like Eton don’t go hand in hand.
“The choice of school for the children will tell us a lot about William and Catherine,” she told OK!.
“So far, they’ve been such a hands-on parents and, personally, I think it would be sad to see them send their children away to boarding school. I would applaud a decision to keep them as day pupils at schools nearby their home. But I think both William and Catherine were happy at boarding school.
“I suppose it’s what they know, and perhaps they will want to pass this experience on to their children.”
Bond added: “I imagine it will be all or nothing – in other words, all three will go away to school, or none of them. I will be cheering loudly if they decide to keep their children close and nurture them through their adolescence as they have nurtured them through the young years.”

Recently, Prince William and Prince George were spotted attending the cricket series played between England and Australia, known as The Ashes, at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, and according to body language expert Inbaal Honigman, the young Prince was having a lot of fun. “Young children are often lost in their own thoughts and their own world, but not George. He’s fully engaged with the environment around him,” she said.
Besides this, some fans were left worried for the young Prince. Why you may wonder. It’s because he wasn’t wearing sunglasses.
“Prince George needs some sunglasses, he is screwing up his eyes, sunshine is too strong,” one royal fan wrote on Twitter, as per the Mirror.
Another wrote: “They should get Prince George some sunglasses.”
“Prince George needs to wear sunglasses as well as Dad,” a third stated.

This isn’t the first time for the Prince and Princess of Wales to be criticized for their parenting. Last summer, the young prince attended the tennis match between Novak Djokovic’s and Nick Kyrgiosand it was obvious he was feeling the heat and wasn’t comfortable.

William replied: “Oh you’re hot, are you? It’s very warm today […] It’ll be fine.”

Canadian-born singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot passed away aged 84. He became famous during the 60s and the 70s with hits such as Early Morning Rain and If You Could Read My Mind. According to a statement shared on his official Facebook page, he died of natural causes at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto on Monday, May 1.
Throughout the years, many of his songs were covered by the big names of the music scene including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Barbra Streisand.
Following his passing, tributes came poring in. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke of Lightfoot as one of the best and most recognized musicians of the country.
“Gordon Lightfoot captured our country’s spirit in his music – and in doing so, he helped shape Canada’s soundscape,” he said on Twitter. “May his music continue to inspire future generations, and may his legacy live on forever.”
“I can’t think of any Gordon Lightfoot song I don’t like,” Bob Dylan once said. “Everytime I hear a song of his, it’s like I wish it would last forever…. Lightfoot became a mentor for a long time. I think he probably still is to this day.”
Lightfoot’s funeral was held at the Orilla church, where he had participated in the choir as a young man, and according to his family, it was what musician wished. Blair Bailey, director of the St. Paul’s choir, told CTV News that “he is the one who wanted it to be here, in this church that he grew up in.” His funeral was attended by his closest family and friends but the public had the chance to pay their condolences at a public viewing on Sunday.
During the viewing, the fans were deeply touched by a very special and quite emotional moment. Taurus, the dog of one of the band’s members, wouldn’t leave the casket’s side.
“He used to go on the road with him and wait for Gordon side stage,” Lightfoot spokeswoman Victoria Lord told Newsner. “Gordon loved dogs.”
Lightfoot and Taurus formed a special bond throughout the years and the late musician was known as a huge animal lover.
As a tribute to Lighfoot, President of the Mariposa Folk Foundation announced that the main stage at Mariposa would be renamed the Lightfoot Stage. “Gordon was such a huge supporter of the Mariposa Folk Foundation that we wanted to find a way to honour his memory,” Carter said. “It needed to be something lasting. We could have had artists come up and present tonight, but we wanted to leave something. So, naming it the Lightfoot Stage will live on forever and will always keep Gord in our memories.”

Even before he became The King of Britain, Charles announced he would be making changes within the Royal Family. In the past, sources claimed that then Prince Charles spoke of slimming down the monarchy.
“Charles has never made any secret of the fact that he wants a slimmed-down Monarchy when he becomes King. He realizes that the public don’t want to pay for a huge Monarchy and, as he said, the balcony at Buckingham Palace would probably collapse,” he was reported to have said.
Now as his mother Queen Elizabeth II passed away and he acceded to the throne, King Charles didn’t waste time in making changes.
As reported by The Guardian, a dozen Clarence House staff were given notice of redundancy during the Monday service for the Queen in Edinburgh on Monday. The news was received as ‘unsettling’ by King Charles’ secretary.

He and Camilla have been living at Clarence House for nearly 20 years.
In his speech, King Charles said that the new duties imposed on him would mean cutting down on certain charitable work. Sadly, he could also cut down the number of employees, who were said to be left heartbroken by his decision to hand them in notice of redundancies.
Over 100 employees were told they could lose their job, some of whom spent decades serving the royal family.
At the time they were handed in the notice, they were working tirelessly to make King Charles’ elevation to the throne go without any issues.

“The change in role for our principals will also mean change for our household,” the letter written by Sir Clive Alderton, King Charles’s private secretary, said, as reported by The Guardian.
“The portfolio of work previously undertaken in this household supporting the former Prince of Wales’s personal interests, former activities, and household operations will no longer be carried out, and the household … at Clarence House will be closed down. It is therefore expected that the need for the posts principally based at Clarence House, whose work supports these areas will no longer be needed.”
This came as a shock to many as they were convinced their service will still be needed. The only change they expected was to be relocated to the King’s new household.
A source told the magazine that “Everybody is absolutely livid, including private secretaries and the senior team. All the staff have been working late every night since Thursday, to be met with this. People were visibly shaken by it.”

Apparently, the staff in question would be offered alternative positions in other households.
As this decision was made amid the period of mourning, the staff described it as ‘heartless.’
“The Duke of Edinburgh’s staff were paid for many months after his death. Some of these people are mourning the Queen – it is a bit too soon to be sending out redundancy letters when we haven’t even had the funeral. They are grieving. It is heartless,” an insider shared with The Guardian.
Mark Serwotka, the general secretary of The Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS), condemned the King’s act and stated, “While some changes across the households were to be expected, as roles across the Royal Family change, the scale, and speed at which this has been announced is callous in the extreme.”
He added, “Least of all because we do not know what staffing the incoming Prince of Wales and his family might need.”
Serwotka assured that PCS will “continue to work with the Royal Households to ensure that those staff have full job security.”
“We remain committed to supporting those colleagues across the wider Royal Family’s estates, whose futures are thrown into turmoil by this announcement at this already difficult time.”

Grant Harrold, who served as a butler to the King when he held the title Prince of Whales says he wasn’t surprised by this decision.
“Trust me, it’s not a shock for the household,” Harrold said. “When I joined, I was fully aware that if the Queen passed I would be redundant because my boss is no longer the Prince of Wales.”
Further, he added that “The good thing is, I know they will do everything possible to make sure that people are put into positions where possible – and, as I said, there will be people that want to retire or want a change of career.”
The top two staff members, King Charles’ private secretary Sir Clive Alderton and Queen Camilla’s private secretary, Ms. Sophie Densham, have been with the couple for years, and it was widely known that both earn quite a vast amount of money for their services. Even so, following the annual Sovereign Grant Report being disclosed, other staff members are reportedly furious.

According to this report, Alderton is paid between £205,000 and £210,000 – $260,000 and $266,000.
Meanwhile, Sophie Densham only receives somewhere between £90,000 and £95,000 – $114,000 to $120,000 – yearly from the taxpayer-funded account.
“I’m really shocked by the disparity, and I’m astonished by Sophie’s salary — that is a kick in the teeth. She is a real grafter, and hers is a massive, bloody busy job,” a former senior courtier told The Times.
And while Densham accompanies the Queen at every royal event, Alderton only attends King Charles’ “most high-profile outings” and he’s provided with housing for “better performance” of his duties and lives at Marlborough House, a short walk from his office at Buckingham Palace.
“Whether you think there’s a disparity in the pay because of their sex rather than their seniority, there is a question there,” a royal source said. “Sophie is known as being a very capable and dedicated support to the Queen.”

There are still those who would never have a second thought when it comes to stepping in for those in need. Kids like these restore our faith in the youth and remind us that no good deed ever goes unnoticed.
An old couple was struggling to get back in their car after they stopped at a gas station trying to take a break from the driving. Three young men noticed the husband and the wife and rushed to offer help. The whole thing unfolded in front of the eyes of a police officer who recorded the incident. She believes how the video will serve as an inspiration for others to do the same thing when in a similar situation.

Joc Koe Stoe, Marty, and Freddie G were getting soda and chips at the gas station in Williston, Florida in which Rose and David Griest were buying some gas.
However, the couple who were both over 100 years old couldn’t get back into the SUV. They were traveling to Orlando where Rose was about to get her medical treatment. She was uncontrollably shaking and could barely stand on her feet. The guys hold her firmly and safely placed her inside the vehicle. They also helped her husband by handling him the walker and making sure he got inside too.
Police officer Kanesha Carnegie of the Levy County Sheriff’s Office who happened to pass by the parking lot was glad the guys offered to help.

She later said how her first thought was to approach the couple, but once she saw the young men were willing to lend a helping hand, she just stood there and decided to put everything on tape.
Carnegie knew the boys who are local rappers from before. She told Fox 5 DC how they are all good guys who are a valuable part of the community. She is honest when she says how she didn’t expect anything less from them.
“I know these men from the neighborhood, and I wanted them to have that moment to show who they really are.”

The video of Joc Koe Stoe, Marty, and Freddie G’s good deed was posted on Facebook and it took the Internet by storm. It has been seen by around 5 million people who agree how these guys are just awesome.
The old couple’s grandson, Tommy, saw the video and said how his grandparents don’t use social media but he was more than happy to show it to them.
After they got into the SUV, David thanked the men for what they did and wished them good luck. The boys are, however, impressed how people who are over 100 years old could still travel at such an old age.

Besides being a famous name in the world of film and winning a Golden Globe among the rest, actor Charlie Sheen is also well known for his rebellious lifestyle which is now taking its toll. Back in 2017, he opened up about his HIV diagnosis and said he’s “carrying the torch” for others battling the disease that causes AIDS.
Speaking of the moment he received the diagnosis, he said during an appearance on Good Morning America, “The day I was diagnosed, I immediately wanted to eat a bullet. But my mom was there, I wouldn’t do that in front of her, or let her find me to clean up that mess.”
Sheen then added: “But then, something else came over me. They gave me a handful of pills and said, ‘You can go home now, and you’re going to live.'”
Sadly, it looks like that the One and a Half Man star is battling other health issues as well, including memory loss and mood swings, according to people close to him. As reported by Radar Online, it’s because of the medicines he’s taking to keep his illness in check he’s having a hard time to complete even the simplest of tasks.
Speaking of the medications he’s taking, Sheen has said they “kept me suppressed and alive, but I struggled with a constant migraine and, at times, borderline dementia.”

During the last couple of years Sheen has tried to get his life back on track and stay away from scandals which he has become a synonym of throughout the years. Sadly, Dr. Stuart Fischer believes Sheen’s change of attitude may be too little, too late.
“The symptoms of dementia may not be an outgrowth of his medications alone,” Dr. Fischersaid. “You cannot discount the years of drugs and alcohol abuse along with dangerous sexual promiscuity.”
The doctor continued: “He has caused untold damage to himself. Hopefully, his brain function can be restored, but after a lifetime of self-destructive behavior, it may be too late to head off possible long-term effects.”
The good thing is that Sheen is determined to take things into his own hands and do everything it takes to leave his old habits behind.
“Charlie knows he’s not the only person he’s damaged and he’s desperately hoping his medical care and lifestyle changes will give him time to work his way back into their hearts,” an insider reportedly told Radar Online.

Tributes from fans came pouring in, with one person writing, “She was world famous musician and he wasn’t even selected for England National Team. But still she married him & give up her successful career for him. Her sacrifice made her real winner.” Another fan added: “You guys are a couple I have been rooting for. So glad you are making it and will continue to make it. An inspiration beyond the tabloids.”
David and Victoria exchanged vows on July 4, 1999, in Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland. Their ring bearer was their oldest child, Brooklyn Beckham, who was four months old at the time.
“He’s my soulmate, and we really support each other,” the Spice Girls said of her husband in a 2017 interview.“I’m so proud of him. He’s such a good, kind person. He’s the most fantastic dad, supporting husband as well,” she said. “And we’re partners.”
Asked about the secret behind a long-lasting marriage, David said in 2015, “We’ve got four amazing children, and you know, they’re our priority, but you have to make time for each other as well. We’re busy, but we make it work.”
The Beckhams are parents to four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. In 2022, their eldest son tied the knot to Nicola Peltz.
In 2017, David and Victoria renewed their vows.

She is wealthy and good with money, except for that time when she lost a $10,000 check. Losing that much money is never a good thing, but this time it led to something good.

When Elmer Alvarez stumbled upon the piece of paper while walking down the street, he had no idea it was a check. Once he realized how much money it was on, he knew it could change his life, but this kind man never thought of cashing it. From the moment he took it in his hand, he knew he had to track the money owner down. That’s how he ended up meeting Roberta.

This woman achieved everything she put her mind to. From living on the streets to becoming a millionaire. And now she was given the opportunity to do something similar for a man whose faith she once shared. Now, Roberta and Elmer are working on a huge project that is bound to change the lives of many people.
Elmer is no longer homeless. His new acquaintance found an apartment for him and she is paying rent for the first seven months, giving Elmer the time to get back on his feet. He is also attending the real estate school. She helped him turn his life upside down.
The project they are currently working on won’t bring them any money because the idea behind it is to help people in need. Profit is the last thing on their mind.

They are building a transitional house for struggling and homeless young people who need a push in life. Both Roberta and Elmer know how important it is for someone to lend you a helping hand when you are all by yourself on the streets.
Once the place is finished, Elmer will serve as adviser to the youngsters. Having experienced that kind of life, this job would be perfect for him. We are sure he’ll help lots of teenagers take their life in their own hands.
It’s amazing how a lost check led to something so beautiful like uniting two people who share same past and same future goals. Way to go Roberta and Elmer!

If you are a fan of the Roloff family, you know that things have changed drastically since the show first aired years ago. Today, Amy is married to Chris Marek, and the patriarch, Matt Roloff, is engaged to Caryn Chandler.
Recently, Matt opened up about a health scare he experienced when he went for his routine endoscopy but things turned complicated.
“Turns out i have some unexpected twists n turns leading down to the stomac(h). good news is …i didn’t need the computer chip and monitor installed! scary news is more work to be done. worst news is i had to take a few days off working and lay low…,” he wrote.
Without going into details of what “more work” might mean, he posted that he’s “Back in action today!”
His fans were quick to wish him a speedy recovery. “Never a fun ride to the hospital to only stay there— You’ll fly through the next visit though, too! Keep well buddy!” Another fan asked for further information: “Hey Matt, I wanted to thank you for sharing this and keeping us up-to-date and posted what’s going on so you said you’re back in action today does that mean you’re all better? What exactly were you diagnosed with?”
A third said, “Thoughts to your kids, always stressful when your parent has complications like this. Hopefully this will help mend some bridges and extend some olive branches.”
This comment referred to the feud between Matt and his son Zach that took place during season 22 of the show.

What happened was that Matt blindsided his son and made it impossible for him to buy the family farm, which angered many.
Seeing the comments fans posted online, Matt decided to share what he thought of those comments and wrote: “I caught up a bit on recent social media posts … it’s very apparent that people are frustrated and angrier then normal. I understand. But getting on the internet and being a mean person is no way to live your life.” He also posted a photo of him and Zach and his family.
In one of the episodes, Zach was heard saying how he was looking forward to raising his children on the farm. “…we want to be somewhere that we can see our family a long time and where we’re at right now is not that place,” he said.
Thankfully, it looked like the father and son managed to smooth things down between them thanks to Zach’s young son, Josiah.
Wishing him a happy birthday, Matt wrote of his grandson, “What a whirlwind month. I can’t believe April is already over. Life is wonderful but always moving sooo fast. Today we celebrated Josia’s 1st birthday—- are you kidding me. Never mind April… where did the past year go??”
Then, on May 11, Matt shared yet another set of adorable photos. This time, of his children from the time they were still very young and wished his twin sons a very happy birthday. “Happy Birthday to my Twin boys @jeremyroloff and @zroloff07 I bet you don’t remember your first mule ride off the farm down Groveland Road.” Matt continued, “Zach having a ball. Jer thought he was driving in London (ie wrong side of the road). Happy birthday!!! Enjoy this trip down memory lane. I have so many fun clips to share.”
However, as most of the comments underneath the photos were of well-wishers, there were also those who slammed Matt.
“So you make money off of your children in order to be on a show for the majority of their lives, cheat them out of their childhood dreams of staying on the farm, want them to pay a ridiculous price to even remain on the farm, cheat on your wife with an employee, build a new home with your new girlfriend on the farm and wanting to sell the home your kids grew up in. Solid dad lol.” One user, defending Matt, added to the post, “Mind your business. What goes on is between him and his family.” The user added, “Matt has done a lot of back breaking work and dedication on that farm before they had the show and whatever issues they had is none of your business.”
We are glad Matt’s health scare wasn’t a serious one and we hope he and his children will continue getting along just like during the old good days.

True love is everlasting! When two people are meant to be together no matter how much time passes by, love will find the way.
The love story of Thomas and Nancy is the perfect proof of that. These two first fell in love when they were in high-school but their relationship ended and they hadn’t seen each other for over 60 years.
However, after that much time, Thomas and Nancy reunited recently and felt the same spark they had for each other when they were just teenagers.
Over the course of a couple of weeks, they were constantly in touch and felt like no time has passed since their young days.
The two decided to see each other so Nancy flew to Tampa to meet her high-school sweetheart not knowing he was waiting for her on one knee. When she spotted him at the airport, Thomas was quick to pop the question.The sweet moment of proposing to Nancy was caught on tape by one of Thomas’ colleagues and was later shared on the social media.
Needless to say, Nancy was overwhelmed and couldn’t hide her excitement.
“My dear Nancy, it has been 60 years since we first met, 56 years since we first dated, 10 years since I last saw you, and 20 days since we reconnected,” Thomas started his speech.
Tomas told the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with how she still makes his heart skip a beat. After that many years, he said he was happy that he could hold her in his arms telling her that her inner and outer beauty has always captivated him.
He promised her to be by her side through thick and thin and that he would share his dreams and aspirations with her.
We are so happy for this lovely couple and we wish them only the best life brings.

Over the couple of years, many big names in the world of film and other celebs have decided to leave California behind and search for other states to settle with their families.
One of them is actor Matthew McConaughey, who moved to his home state of Texas in 2020 because he wanted his children to be raised with the same values as he was and to be closer to his family.
Mark Wahlberg did the same when he sold his $30 million Beverly Hills mansion and moved to Ohio where he owns a Chevrolet dealership and has family.
When Joe Rogan, the famous podcast host, made a decision to leave L.A. back in 2020, he said the reason was the “insane” traffic and high cost of living in the city.

Now, yet another celebrity is saying goodbye to California. Scott Baio, best known for the role of Chachi Arcola on the television series Happy Days, took to Twitter to announce his departure from the place he’s called home for many years. However, the reason he listed divided people’s opinions, and as some supported him, others were harsh on him.
Namely, Baio wrote how he has it enough of the issue of homelessness in L.A.
“After 45 years, I’m making my way to finally ‘exit stage right’ from California. The most recent survey conducted by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority found approximately 69,000 people experiencing homelessness in L.A. County and 41,000 in the city in 2022.”

His tweet caused a stir and comments started pouring in.
“Good for you, Scott,” a Twitter user commented. “You and your family will be much happier. Besides, if CA ever changes, you can go back.”
“Wonderful sir. Hope you find a place where yall can be happy and comfortable. Have a little space left in Texas if you want it. We would love to have you here,” another added. “Congrats. If and when my son leaves we are out of here too. Been here since 1970 it is not the same beautiful state it once was,” a third commented.

But not everyone was happy with Baio’s comment about homelessness.
“Considering you’ve never done anything to help out in the situation after getting wealthy off of us, we will be glad to see you go,” a Twitter user replied in anger. Another person added their experience, “Happy Californian here, especially knowing you are leaving!!”
Some even made jokes at the actor’s expense. “With your lack of work over the last 20 + years – are you one of the homeless?” someone tweeted.
“You exited from relevancy about 30 years ago, who cares?” another person added.
“It’ll be easy to pack up your tent and shopping cart,” another user unhappy with his tweet wrote. “Cause you’ve been out of a career for 40 years too!”

That Baio is serious about moving places speaks the fact that he has his home listed at $3.85 million. The place spans 6,300 square feet and contains five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, and a home theater. It was purchased in 2010 for $1.85 million.

When they stepped down from their royal duties and made a shocking decision to leave Britain and settle in sunny California, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle believed it was for the best for their family and the privacy they allegedly longed for.
Following their separation from the Firm, many accused the couple of being hypocritical since they claimed they wanted to lead normal lives out of the spotlight but never stopped giving interviews in which they slammed the rest of the royals. They even released a Netflix documentary series and Harry published his best-selling all-tell memoir Spare.
According to the Netflix series, the two were introduced to each other by a mutual friend after Harry spotted her in a video shared by one of his friends and couldn’t help but ask who she was.

The two made plans to meet while Meghan visited London for the Wimbledon tennis tournament. As agreed, Meghan was waiting for Harry at the Soho House in London but he was 30 minutes late.
“I couldn’t understand why he would be late,” Meghan said in the series. “But he kept texting. He was like, ‘I’m in traffic. I’m so sorry.’”
“I was panicking, I was freaking out,” Harry added. “I was, like, sweatin’.”
Meghan explained that because she didn’t know Harry, she wondered if he was usually late.
“I was like, ‘Oh, is this what he does?’ Got it. Like this, I’m not doing. I’m not gonna sit…..”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Harry interfered.
“Like you’re one of those guys who have so much of an ego that any girl would sit waiting for a half hour for you,” Meghan continued. “I was just not interested in that.”
Once Harry walked into the restaurant, though, Meghan quickly realized him being late wasn’t part of any tactic or plan.
“I was a hot, sweaty, red ball of mess,” Harry recalled.
“You were just so sweet,” Meghan added. “You were genuinely so embarrassed and late.”
Following their first date, Harry thought to himself: “This woman is amazing. She is everything that I’ve been looking for.”

However, soon after they tied the knot, Harry and Meghan started experiencing issues with the rest of the royals, some which were revealed during the infamous Oprah interview.
When they announced what was referred to as Megxit, things between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the royals turned heated. But now it seems that the decision to departure from Harry’s family wasn’t an easy one.
Harry and Meghan said they had decided “after many months of reflection and internal discussions.”
“We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen,” the statement read.
The couple added that they planned to spend time both in the UK as well as North America while “continuing to honor our duty to the Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.”
“This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity,” the couple said.

Speaking of how the family received the news, Harry said they were outraged and William began “screaming and shouting” at him during the meeting with then-Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth II to outline how he and Meghan were stepping down from their working roles.
“I went in with the same proposal that we’d already made publicly but once I got there I was given five options. One being all-in, no change. Five being all out. I chose option three in the meeting. Half in, half out. Have our own jobs but also work in support of the queen. But it became very clear very quickly, that goal was not up for discussion or debate,” Harry said.
“It was terrifying. To have my brother scream and shout at me and my father say things that just simply weren’t true and my grandmother, you know, quietly sit there and sort of take it all in.”
Harry made this public on the Netflix documentary.
“I mean, the saddest part of it was the wedge created between myself and my brother so that he’s now on the institution’s side,” Harry said.
“And part of that I get, I understand. That’s his inheritance. So, to some extent it’s already ingrained in him that part of his responsibility is the survivability and the continuation of this institution.”

The final episode featured the couple on a plane to California, with Harry telling his then-baby Archie to say hi and putting his finger on the mouth as a sign of ‘shhh,’ while Meghan could be heard telling her son that they go where mommy is from.
And although this image portrayed them as both free and happy family, royal experts claim just the opposite. What the Sussexes referred to as to “the freedom flight,” was allegedly far from one according to body language expert Darren Stanton who believes the couple was in a state of panic.
“There was a real sense of urgency in both Harry and Meghan’s faces as they flew to California. Even though they were thousands of feet above the ground, they both lowered their voices as if they didn’t want to be heard,” Stanton said in December, shortly after the Netflix documentary episode was released.
“The couple were obviously in a state of panic to get out of Canada, where they felt exposed. Both Meghan and Harry looked really tired and stressed, while Meghan’s mother also showed empathy for the situation.”
The body language expert concluded: “The fact that Harry called it a ‘freedom flight’ truly explains his mindset at the time. He very much saw it as a cat-and-mouse game, which was a time-sensitive operation.”
“He seems a lot more settled and relaxed in the rest of the documentary compared to the scene of them on the plane. It was very much a turbulent period for Harry and Meghan.”
