There is really nothing that can help erase the pain of losing a parent. When children lose their mom or dad while they are still young, they will always wonder why their guardian left them and is not by their side any longer. This can affect their childhood, and even their life as grown ups.

This is unfortunately the fate of many kids whose parents lost their life in combat while serving the country. These kids’ parents died as heroes whose deeds will never be forgotten.

When a plane full of children of fallen military members was announced at the Nashville airport, everyone present took the time to pay them respect by singing the national anthem as the plane boarded.

All these children are part of an annual event called Snowball Express. They are offered a trip to Disneyland on the state’s expense.

Watching all these kids gathered together, trying to move forward with their lives made everyone very emotional. People even had tears rolling down their faces. One of the people who witnessed the event was Jen Tringle. She believed this was worth sharing with the world so she recorded the whole thing and posted it on her Facebook page.

In her post in social media, Jen shared:

“When they announced them over the loudspeaker and they lined up to board the plane the whole airport literally stopped and sang the national anthem with military present in salute. Most every person standing around, myself included was bawling at the sight of these kids and spouses who have paid so great a price for our country. To see all of this at Christmas time was so humbling. Seeing the general public in an airport stand still to honor these kids was simply beautiful.”

And as nothing could bring their parents back, at least we can do our best to try to comfort these loving children by offering our respect to their loved ones who lost their lives for the well-being of the country.

This is definitely an experience Jen will never forget.

In an email she sent to ABC7, she shared:

“I’ll never forget it myself, witnessing an unannounced standstill like that by the general public – out of honor.”

What would a wedding be without “the dress” which is the most important addition to the breathtaking looks of the bride that walks down the isle right into the perfect new life? Not much, really.

The search for the right gown can be tiring because it has to be simply impeccable. The price is irrelevant, and it doesn’t matter if the family has to pay a small fortune for it as long as the bride-to-be looks stunning in it.

However, the photo of this particular wedding gown has gone viral and all for the right reasons. It’s not only eye-catching, but incredibly tasty as well. Yes, you’ve heard that right. This beautifully and precisely done gown is edible and probably the dream cake of every couple.

Emma Jane’s wedding dress inspired cake simply awakens the senses of taste. This never-before seen cake creation caught the interest of the picky people blessed with both an eye for high couture fashion and a sweet tooth.

The original design of the dress was created by fashion designer Mak Tumang. The gorgeous cake is a replica of the “Angela” gown that is both breathtaking as a dress and as a cake.

Even though “stealing” other people’s designs is a type of crime, that obviously doesn’t apply to the edible versions of the creations, especially because they don’t last very long and don’t leave evidence behind, except maybe for some crumbs on the plate.

The sparkly and flowery cake took Emma Jayne 10 days to make. Because of the size of it, which is six feet tall, it took six people to lift it over Emma’s garden gate.

She used around 132 pounds of fondant to create the dress, and 110 pounds of modeling paste to make the flowers.

Luckily, it got to the right place untouched and safe.

Emma Jayne originally created this edible art to show off at London’s Cake International, which is a trade show that gives super talented bakers the opportunity to show off their sugar-laden creations.

“We were asked to choose a wedding dress designer and make a cake based on one of the wedding dresses. I was asked to make the only life-size wedding dress and chose Mak Tumang as his designs stopped me in my tracks. They are simply incredible.”

Mak Tumang was part of the show and was more than happy to pose next to his dress design which was turned into a mouth-watering cake.

Not only he wasn’t mad at Emma for using his drawings, but he was indeed flattered because she chose exactly this model, which is one of his favorite.

The details of the dress are incredibly real. To be honest, if you see it at a wedding dress store we are absolutely convinced you are going to confuse it for a real dress.

It wowed everyone who got to see it and left people in disbelief. The main color of this mesmerizing creation is bluish-grey and the flower petals are crafted as a 3D form.

The back, however, is pretty stunning as well. The details added are crystals that add to the overall experience.

We know that we would really like to taste this masterpiece, but we also feel it would be pity to ruin it.

The Busbys are one of our most beloved American families. We wait for each new episode of their show OutDaughtered to air in anticipation because we can never have enough of the busy, but fun life of this family of eight.

Adam and Danielle are the parents of six daughters, five of which are the only all-girl quintuplets in the U.S. Being around so many girls has to be a bit difficult for the only guy in the family who always makes sure to make his girls’ days enjoyable.

However, no matter how hard it is to fulfill the needs and the wishes of their daughters, the members of this family are never bored. They won’t stay still but are always looking for new adventures.

This time, it’s Buzz’s birthday, that’s how the girls call Adam, and he is arranging a party with a cake.

They all sing “Happy Birthday To You” out loud, and the little ones swing their bodies to the rhythm, all dresses in cute pink dresses for the special occasion.

The family is having a blast as they are trying to cherish a very special moment which turns into a priceless ending once daddy blows the candles out.

It’s not surprising the video has been seen more than 14 million times.

Dad, however, has no idea the reaction of some of the girls will be so “strong.” The little one from the right seems to be mad because she didn’t get to blow the candles herself.

One of the comments says, “Well, we know who the drama queen is going to be in 15 years lol.”

Lunch Lady Sobs At Sight After She’s Escorted Outside

Being the only provider in the family, Cheryl Stewart, the lunch lady at Teton High School in Deiggs, Idaho, doesn’t have it easy. She is a hardworking woman who struggles to make ends meet because her husband who suffers from lupus and is a cancer survivor, just like Cheryl herself, is unable to work.

This incredibly brave lady does other jobs too. She cleans the U.S Forest building as well as the seminary at the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And if this isn’t tiring and time-consuming enough, she finds the time to make rolls for all the funeral services in the Teton Valley.

It’s amazing how Cheryl would always put other people’s needs on the top of her priorities list. She is one of those rare individuals to whom the happiness of others means more than her own. Despite the tough time she is experiencing, Cheryl keeps going forward.

Her relatives and friends only have words of praise for their most loyal and most loving friend. Some of them, or one of them, took the time to do something nice for her by writing a letter to Nate Eaton of East Idaho News, the Secret Santa who changes lives.

“Cheryl works from sunup to sundown, and in-between. She’d give you the shirt off her back and everybody loves her. Right now she’s using a borrowed car because the engine blew in their van. She’s actually having surgery too next week during her time off because she can’t afford to take additional time off from work.”

After reading this anonymous letter, he gave Cheryl the surprise of her life.

When Nate and his crew entered the school building and called Cheryl’s name she knew something big was going to happen. She got so excited that she nearly collapsed. The first thing Nate asked her was about the rolls she mas making for all the funerals in town and the reason why, to what this humble lunch lady said, “Just because I’m good at it.”

She was then handed in a tiny box with a check for $100 inside. Cheryl was grateful, because she needed every penny, but didn’t know that it was just a tiny part of the huge surprise they were about to reveal.

As Cheryl and the crew headed outside the school, she was given another tiny box, and that’s when she started sobbing crocodile tears filled with shock and joy. As she was about to go and check the second gift she was asking the students to join her outside.

Seeing the new brand vehicle parked in front of her was a dream come true. She couldn’t wait to test it and go for a ride. She even had the money for gas and for the registration.

This very special lady got exactly what she deserved. We are so happy for her!

We went to breakfast at a restaurant where the ‘Senior Special’ was two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast for $2.99.

“Sounds good,” my wife said, “but I don’t want the eggs.”

“Then I’ll have to charge you $3.49 because you’re ordering a la carte,” the waitress warned her.

“You mean I’d have to pay more for not taking the eggs?” my wife asked incredulously.

“Yes,” said the waitress.

“I’ll take the special, then,” my wife said.

“How do you want your eggs?” the waitress asked.

“Raw and in the shell,” my wife replied.

She took the two eggs home and baked a cake.

How Divorced Mom Surprised Kids at the Airport

When two people decide to tie the knot, they believe it’s forever. But sometimes being with someone through better or worse is harder than it seems, and many couples nowadays see the divorce as the only logical solution to the obstacles they are facing as married partners. Instead of trying to smooth things out, the union ends with hard words said to one another, long and tiring custody battles, and children who are confused and wonder what is happening.

However, even if this is the case, people who have children together should try their best to make their offspring feel loved. Co-parenting is not easy, because once you split with the person you were once together with, it’s common to judge their parenting abilities. Joint custody arrangements can be exhausting and fraught with stress, but sometimes, that’s the only way to assure your kids retain close relationship with both parents.

We do believe that there are tips that can lead to great co-parenting, such as setting the anger aside, and not putting the kids in the middle giving them the choice to choose between their mom and dad. But at the end of the day, being a co-parent is easier said than done and we do believe every person has different opinion on the matter.

The below story is one example of how the kids’ needs should be on the top of the list of priorities of divorced parents.

Laura Lee and her two kids, Darcie 11, and Callum 9, were about to have the time of their life taking a Mediterranean trip. But to their surprise, there was a familiar face at the airport, waiting at the same terminal. The kids were left puzzled, what was their dad doing there? Was there any chance that he was coming too? Yes, Dean Bone was going to Cyprus with his ex-wife and their kids.

Being separated didn’t mean they couldn’t put their misunderstandings on the side and take vacation together, all for the well-being of their little joys.

This story is a very special one, and has been shared by many people who believe that many other parents who share custody of their kids should do the same. It’s obvious that both Dee and Bone have made a concentrated effort to keep things copacetic.

Co-parenting is hard for many people but we are proud of what we have achieved with bringing our children up.”

How someone looks like and what they eat shouldn’t be anybody’s business. However, many times, people believe they have the right to judge others only because they consider themselves smarter and better looking. This type of behavior is inappropriate and rude, and affects person’s privacy.

The below video shows two girls waiting in line to order their meal at the local McDonald’s. At one moment they notice an overweight guy standing in front of them, and that’s when they start laughing and ridiculing his physical appearance. They have the courage to speak directly to his face, saying how he is “fat” and how he shouldn’t be eating at McDonald’s or anywhere else.

How would you react if you witness this type of bullying while at your favorite restaurant? Would you step in and stand for the victim?

This is actually a social experiment conducted by the YouTube channel Troll Station that will let us know how many people would be willing to defend someone who is publicly shamed for being obese.

I don’t know what your thoughts on this video will be, but I honestly believe that it took the onlookers a lot of time to interfere, while the girls won’t stop mocking the guy, constantly repeating he should leave the store without getting any food.

Check the video and see the facial expressions and eventually the reactions of people when witnessing such a horrible scene.

At the end of the day, being obese is not always a person’s choice. We should always have in mind that each individual is going through tough times during their life that may affect the quality of their lifestyle. Or, being overweight can be a result of a hormonal dis-balance or other similar condition.

Would it kill us if we show a bit of empathy and compassion for those that don’t fit the “standards of beauty” we sometimes tend to follow? I guess not. But people can be cruel and emotionless. Luckily, there are always those who won’t put up with bullies like the two girls in the video, and that gives us hope that not everything is as bad as it looks.

Stranger Helps Woman And Receives Surprising Payback

Life is full of surprises and many times when we act in a certain way we don’t really realize that what goes around comes around. The good thing is that this is true for good deeds as well.

This story is just another reminder that we should always lend a helping hand to those in need of kindness and a few words of compassion, because we may never know the impact we have on someone’s life.

Chris Wright was on his way home getting back from church when he and his family stumbled upon a lady staying in the middle of the road during a heavy rain. They didn’t stop, but continued driving. However, once they got home, Chris felt he made a mistake for not stepping in and told his wife:

“I have to go back. I have to help her.”

Carmen wasn’t at all surprised by her husband’s action.

“You know when you have an urge and a desire something to do good? He was raised that way. He’s kind and generous to everyone. He’d never picked up anybody before, but he felt compelled.”

He got in the car again and was determined to track the lady down. He prayed she was still there. Luckily, he could easily spot her walking in the rain. Apparently, she run out of gas and money and had no one to ask for help. Chris was more than happy to pay for the gas and give her some cash.

The woman who introduced herself as TunDe was beyond grateful for what this generous man did for her.

Life went on for Chris who now had worries on his own. His mother Judy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and needed an around the clock care.

Because of this, Chris hired some nurses that would assist his parents who weren’t able to do things by themselves.

One of the nurses, however, seemed to take extra special care of Judy. Carmen said:

“She cared for her in the most respectful way. She had the utmost respect for human life.”

This nurse and Judy became really close. One day, she even shared her life story with Chris’ mom telling her how she didn’t have it easy, until an event form 2014 completely turned her life for the better. Apparently, a man helped her one day and that gave her hope to continue her fight and become a nurse.

And as you are guessing already, that nurse was TunDe and the person who changed her life was Chris.

“The encounter that had blessed them both three years ago, came full-circle. We don’t believe in coincidence. We’re a family of faith.” Carmen said.

Chris simply couldn’t believe that a couple of bucks for gas and a lift could inspire someone to do such a drastic change. He was really happy for his acquaintance. But this is not how the story ends. Chris learned how TunDe wanted to continue her education but needed money for the tuition. He and his family were willing to help this loving lady again.

Sadly, Judy passed away, and that’s when Chris decided to ask his family and friends to do a kind deed and instead of bringing flowers at the funeral, to donate that money to the YouCaring Page they set up to help raise funds for the tuition.

To TunDe’s surprise, the family raised around $20,000. She couldn’t believe she was given that much money. These people were sent from God. They not only changed her life, but made it perfect and filled it with joy.

After a short period of time, random people donated additional $14,000. That was enough for TunDe to purse her dream of becoming a professional nurse. Words couldn’t describe how grateful she was for everything Chris and his family did for her.

This girl’s reaction to the surprise is beyond adorable.

Don’t forget to help a person in need whenever possible, because people like Chris and their good deeds is what make this world go round.

United States Air Force Surprises Everyone With Flash Mob Performance

They say that if you have a family and a couple of good friends, a roof over your head, and food on the table, you are way more lucky than you think, because millions of people have neither of that. That’s why we should always be thankful for what we have, especially during the holidays.

However, we should never forget that we get to enjoy everything God has given to us because of the peace we live in, which is secured by the brave men and women in the military.

This time, some of them not only made sure we are all safe and sound but made our day by performing in front of the all those people at the National Air and Space Museum’s Milestones of Flight gallery.

The official Air Force Band’s website wrote that the group is comprised of a host of talented musicians. They explained:

“[The] United States Air Force bands consist of one premier band, eleven active duty bands and five Air National Guard bands that feature our nation’s finest professional musicians. Our bands honor, inspire and connect reaching over six million listeners at over five thousand live and televised performances each year. Each band operates within their own geographic area of responsibility representing America’s Airmen to a global audience.”

The skillful musicians put on display an amazingly mesmerizing performance which attracted everyone who got to listen to their angelic voices. The vocals first burst through the loudspeakers and a crowd rushed to check what was going on. One thing was for sure, it was going to be something huge.

It wasn’t a small group of performers, but astounding 120 band members who were about to blow the audience’s mind with what’s one of the best flash-mobs ever.

This rendition of “Joy to the World” has to be the most ear-catching. Everyone was left watching in awe and thanking God for being in the right place at the right time for this Christmas surprise.

It’s amazing how these heroes of ours took the time to make this holiday more enjoyable and more memorable for the people at the museum and for all of us who got to see the footage. With microphones and instruments in-hand, the talented musicians got the holiday spirit closer to each and every one of us.

We can’t be more thankful for having such polished and skillful servicemen who put the people’s well-being on the top of their priorities.

Miracle: Baby survives despite knot in his umbilical cord

With the news about becoming parents comes a bunch of responsibilities even before the baby is born. The future mom and dad make sure they have everything ready for when the bundle of joy is welcomed into the world.

However, those nine months spent in expectation are at the same time the most exciting and the most nerve wracking period in the life of the parents-to-be. They can’t help but wonder whether everything is going to be fine with the baby while in the womb.

The thing is that whatever happens in the mom’s body during this period can affect the growth of the baby, so following doctor’s orders of what to eat, whether to exercise or not, and similar things, is of crucial importance in delivering a healthy baby.

However, we can never be 100% certain of what is going on with the baby until we have it in our hands, because if there is certain interruption in the fetus’ development, it can result in various problems or health issues.

Do we have the power to change this? Unfortunately, not always. So the only thing we should do during the pregnancy is mind our habits by keeping them healthy.

Sometimes, however, things can get a wrong turn. Unfortunately there are babies out there that are born with certain defects and diseases that can be a result of genetics or other factors such as a tied umbilical cord.

The umbilical cord is what connects the mother and the fetus. This cord helps the delivery of nutrients to the child. Many times doctors witness how the cord is wrapped around the baby’s neck, which is one of the reasons for a C-section deliveries. However, in the case of one newborn, the cord was tied in a knot and it left the doctors shocked.

Right after the delivery took place and the doctors congratulated the parents on their child, they noticed the unusual umbilical cord.

They said how it was a real miracle for the baby to be born perfectly healthy knowing there was a knot that could easily prevent for it to be properly fed while in the womb.

“Hurry up dad, take a picture your baby is a miracle,” the doctor said to the dad.

97-year-old veteran eats at Arby’s at the same time every day, the staff decide to give him something extra with his meal

The way we treat veterans and seniors speaks a lot about us as a society. They have done a lot for the community and the country in general during their life and service and being kind to them is the least we can do to make them feel important and cared for.

The staff at the Arby’s know how to make their guests feel like home by being polite and making sure everyone is served in a timely manner. However, they all confess they have a favorite visitor. The 97-year-old Doug is a World War II veteran who lives all by himself and spending time at Arby’s is the only social activity he has.

When they see him coming, the employees make sure they open the door for him and then escort him to his table. And in case he can’t make it to the place, they deliver his lunch to his retirement facility.

One day, the employees decided on surprising their most loyal customer with a $200 worth of Arby’s gift card. A man named Daniel Moloney was visiting Arby’s the moment the staff handed the gift to the veteran and was stunned by their act of kindness. He understood how they do it simply because they all love old Doug.

The veteran was shocked by the surprise as well and couldn’t thank all the employees and manager Christina Gamage enough. They definitely made his day and reminded him how special he was to each and every one of them.

“We love that you come in and see us … We really enjoy you here and we always want you to come back.”

Doug just said, “You got to be kidding me?” and started chuckling.

“Thank you. I never know if I’ll be here the next day, but thank you so much for this.”

Christina said everyone at the restaurant looks forward to Doug visiting them. They go out of their way to make him feel right at home.

“He’s gone through a lot being a veteran, coming in, being in a retirement home, but he doesn’t have family.”

Daniel, the guest who was caught there during this heartwarming scene snapped a photo of himself and Doug and shared the whole thing on Facebook, saying:

“This is one of those moments that make you happy to be alive. There are so many good people in the world. These employees selflessly put in their own money, so a elderly (sic) man could come in and enjoy dinner on what he never knew could be his last.”

Manager Christina Gamage told Fox 10 that Doug’s lovely reaction to the surprise made them go one step further and offer him free meal for life. The story now went viral and caught the attention of other generous people among which a local optometrist who offered the veteran free eye care.

This story is a perfect example of how we should care for the elderly. Because as they get old they are many times left all by themselves and a simple act of kindness can make the rest of their days more enjoyable.

Parents are those people who make sure we never get off the right track. They are our support, and as long as they are part of our life, we know we have someone to rely on whenever we feel the need.

That is why the loss of a parents is one of the most devastating things one can experience. When they are gone, we feel empty for a very long time, and coping with the grief is not easy.

However, we will always have the memories that will remind us of the beautiful moments we got to share with our loving moms and dads.

A woman from Florida who lost her mom has an unusual story to share.

Denise Underhill grew up in the small town of Tamworth in Staffordshire, England. However, after her beloved mother passed, she felt she had to change something in her life so she moved to the sunny state of Florida.

But being away from her home town didn’t stop her from thinking about that old house on Chaytor Road where she spent the best years of her life, together with her family that she dearly missed.

Recently, Denise felt really nostalgic for the good old days, so she grabbed her computer to look up for her mom’s house on Google Earth. But what she never though was that she will get a pleasant surprise that will deeply touch her heart.

The house didn’t belong to the family any longer, so Denise knew it may not look the same as she remembers it, but then the photo of the place popped up on the screen it left Denise completely stunned.

“I got the BIGGEST surprise EVER! I just couldn’t believe it. At the foot of the driveway was my mother. She was watering the garden, just as she always did. I was absolutely astounded – it made my day.”

The photo was taken while Denise’s mother was still alive and they failed to update it ever since. The old lady could be seen working around her garden, as she would do while she was still there. And while some find this surprise spooky, it was the sweetest thing ever for Denise.

“You never know what photos are being taken but they really do last a lifetime … I think someone wanted me to see this.”

As life goes on and we sometimes lose the ones we love the most along the way, we are glad we have the pictures and the memories we carry in our hearts to remind us of their presence and what they meant to us.

One day back in 2017, 21-year-old Pavin Smith was listening to his mother Pam talking about how many years she and his father Tim had left to pay off their house. It was a burden and a monthly obstacle to overcome, and it was clear that the money worries were a constant source of stress for his parents. It was then Pavin realized how he wanted to surprise his parents for Christmas. Pavin decided to use some of his $5 million baseball signing bonus to pay off his parents’ mortgage entirely, as well as a good portion of their home equity loan. He had wanted the gesture to come as a surprise to his parents, but people who know him were not surprised by his generosity. To many, Pavin was always selfless.

Pavin eventually progressed to a travel ball team after playing T-ball since a young age. When Pavin turned 12, Tim decided that he wanted to see him play more often if possible. Both of his parents invested their time and money in Pavin’s baseball ability, but they never expected him to play professionally. Pavin became part of the high school varsity team as a freshman – a year later, he was recruited by the team for Virginia. After entering the world of professional baseball, Pavin thought of his parents. He recalled the long car rides, effort and the money they spent on his training sessions. With his newfound wealth, he wanted to do something special for them. Pavin rolled up a sheet of paper like a scroll and buried it deep in the family’s Christmas tree, his parents found it – and the rest was history.

There are “Elf” Doors in the Capitol Hill Building

If you want to learn more about the American history and spend a fun day outside then visiting the Capitol Hill in Washington DC would be just the right thing to do.

Among all those museums, libraries and other amusing things you can stumble upon, the most unusual of all are the tiny doors placed throughout the entire place. Each of these doors has a distinctive color and they are so small that no person can walk through them. So when Rebecca Rainey, a reporter for Independent Journal Review posted a picture of them on the social media it made people wonder what these doors’ purpose might be. Many even joked how they are specially designed for tiny elves to be able to run from one room to another.

One follower wrote:

“True story: they had these doors installed for the Keebler Elf. Now that he’s not in the Senate anymore, who knows what they’ll be used for.”

No matter how great the story about the elves sounds, they actually have another purpose. Rebecca felt as though she needed to learn the story behind them and share it with all those people whose curiosity she had awoken.

As it turns out, the miniature doors were installed after a fire ripped through the Capitol building back on Christmas Eve in 1851.

Back in 1851, the building was the home of the Library of Congress and with that a place where the most important historic collections and documents were kept. These included Thomas Jefferson’s personal collection of written work.

On Christmas Eve day of 1951, the place caught on fire and the library suffered the most, mainly because there wasn’t access to water in that part of the building. John Jones, the security guard who first took notice of the fire rushed downstairs to get some water, but by the time he got back the fire swallowed the library.

Brave firefighters from seven fire stations managed to put out the flames, but the consequences were devastating. Two-thirds of Jefferson collection was gone along with other priceless materials.

The main reason for this extent of damage was the fact that John Jones didn’t have an easy access to water.

Taking note of Jones’ report, the Army Corps of Engineers built the tiny doors to conceal the newly installed water faucets that were accessible throughout the entire Capitol Building.

They are also used for the janitors to fill the buckets with water.

This teacher does more for her students than just teach

Teachers are a perfect proof that not all heroes wear capes, some are armed with a bunch of crayons and a bag full of papers to grade, as well as innumerable tiny and sparkly notes and cards that remind them how good they are at what they do.

Constantly torn between lots of commitments such as preparing lesson plans that are supposed to fit each student’s needs, check lists, reminding tiny humans not to eat their pencils, only 5 minutes break to finish their lunch, and a lot more, they don’t have it easy.

However, the fact they are perfect in the eyes of so many kids who grew into nice humans only because of their teacher’s positive influence is worth all the struggle.

Sonya Romera teaches in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her goal is not only to make sure her students learn new things, but she cares whether they have clothes and food for the day.

This inspirational teacher’s story got to the one person who truly appreciates everyday heroes who do so much for the society, Ellen DeGeneris. Sonya was part of Ellen’s show not assuming it will be all about her.

When the moment of truth comes, Ellen invites a shocked Sonya to come on stage with her, which she does with her mouth hanging open. She goes on to tell Ellen about the incredible things she’s done for her students.

Besides making sure that the children are fed and washed up before class started (using her own money to buy breakfast and toiletries for all the students), Sonya has gone as far as to take in needy students. She has taken in two foster children who were former students and has been caring for them as her own for the last six months.

That’s when Ellen showed her a video that her crew made of her students and co-workers thanking her. Needless to say, Sonya, her son, and Ellen herself were absolutely in tears by the end of the video – and so were we!

But, of course, that was not the end.

Ellen proceeded to give Sonya not one but two incredible gifts. And if the video didn’t have us crying, this act of charity certainly did! You have to watch it for yourself to see all of the emotional moments.

It couldn’t be more clear the impact that this teacher has made on everyone she comes across. She is truly one of those magical people that changes every person she meets for the better and we hope people are inspired to follow in her inspirational footsteps.

Girl Asks Santa to Heal Cousin with Leukemia. Santa Leaves Burly Dad Crying

As everyone is eagerly waiting for Christmas to arrive, the young kids are the ones who are most excited of all. They love this period because they get to meet the big old man they all love so much who is there to grant all their wishes and bring them piles of toys.

But for one little girl, Christmas and Santa mean asking for another type of gift.

Steve shared the emotional encounter between Santa and his little girl and people’s hearts are melting.

Little Tylor asked the man from Bass Pro Shop who was under the mask of Santa to help her cousin Ashley heal and be healthy again.

“This is my daughter Taylor who surprised us by telling Santa that all she wanted for Christmas was for Ashley Freihoff (her cousin) to be healed of leukemia,” Steve wrote in his post.

“Wow what a tear jerker to hear your daughter break down to the one she believes can do anything.”

It wasn’t his daughter’s request that brought this burly man to tears, though. Santa’s response was too much to handle.

“Santa then did something that was more amazing than what my daughter did,” Steve’s post continued.

“He has a hundred kids in line and I’m sure he has had kids all day begging for the toys they want him to bring.”

“ This man stops all the commotion and tells her he even as Santa does not have the power to heal but knows someone who can.
Then Santa bowed his head and prayed with my daughter for her cousin,” Steve wrote.

This can make even the toughest of guys shed a tear.

“I am a big tough guy but there I stood in my favorite store bass pro shops crying like a baby,” he added.

“Thank you Santa for showing my family and everyone there what Christmas is really about.”

Steve added:

“Please feel free to share this as I hope this amazing man sees this post and knows how much he touched my family tonight.”

This dad’s post has been shared more than 120,000 times on Facebook and once Love What Matters shared it on their page, even more people have seen it and shared it with their family and friends.

Christmas is indeed the most wonderful day of the year, but for families who are facing difficult situations, such as an illness of a family member, it can be even tougher to go through the holidays that are all about laughing and making memories for a lifetime.

Son Tells Judge He Doesn’t Want Mom To Adopt Sister

Oh, that bundle of joy that enters the family is always an endless source of positive energy and laughter. When the Bakers decided to adopt a little girl named Annalyn Baker, they knew their life will be even better and she will be the best little sister to their two boys.

The process was supposed to be finalized at a courtroom in Florida, Arizona where the family was eagerly waiting to meet the 4-month-old baby.

The adoption was private and the biological parents of lovely Annalyn were going through a tough time, and for some reasons they had to give their daughter away.

“Holding her for the first time didn’t feel any different. We knew she was ours,” Katie said. “They are making a sacrifice. It’s humbling to us.”

Once the process started, Judge Joseph Foster wanted to hear the boys opinion about the adoption. But what 5-year-old Hudson had to say left everyone shocked. When asked whether he wanted a sister he shook his head and said “No.”

The entire courtroom paused and then burst out in laughter. The little guy didn’t fully understand what was happening — Katie knew he didn’t really mean that.

“He’s the one who loves sissy so much,” Katie Baker said.

We are sure what happened at the courtroom will be a story worth sharing with family and friends during social and holiday gatherings and it will always put a smile on everyone’s face.

As for Annalyn, we are sure she will have an amazing life ahead with people who love her more than words can say.

Cafeteria Worker Earns Overtime All Year To Buy Gifts For Sick Kids

Nothing speaks Christmas as the selfless act of helping the less fortunate and doing our best to put a smile on their faces. A woman named Jessie Tendayi knows the feeling of making someone else’s day and she won’t trade it for anything in the world.

She works at the cafeteria of the Advocate Children’s Hospital in Chicago and this is her story.

It all started back in 2009 when Jessie felt sorry for the kids who were forced to spend Thanksgiving at the hospital, so she decided to get them some presents.

What she got as a thank you were a bunch of innocent and sincere smiles which triggered in her the wish to never stop making these kids smile.

This woman with angelic soul works overtime all year-round, picking up extra shifts and working late only to be able to afford the gifts for the little ones. She makes their every holiday a very special one.

Her house is filled with piles of toys that are perfectly wrapped and are waiting for some tiny hands to unwrap them and have the time of their life playing with them. She always lets kids pick their favorite toy.

The video below is so touching that you’ll need to grab a tissue. One grateful mom and her daughter are welcomed into Jessie’s “Toy Shop” and the reaction of the visitors is priceless.

Café Owner Opens Doors On Christmas Every Year To Offer Party For Lonely People

We always tend to define Christmas as the most wonderful time of the year people should spend with their loved ones. But, the sad reality is that there are millions of people out there who are all by themselves and have no one by their side.

Luckily, there are those kind-hearted humans like the 31-year-old Kirsten Howe from Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England who know that no person in the world should spend Christmas alone. She is the owner of the café Alexa Lauren Patisserie that feasts people who have nowhere to go on the most beautiful day.

She started this amazing tradition three years ago, and she hopes it will continue in the years to come.

Besides the dinner, her guests have fun time playing games and listening to as well as singing the classic hits. Although the number of people is not big, Kirsten believes it will be bigger once the word is spread.

“We get around six to seven people every year, but we have definitely advertised a lot more this year, as the space holds 30 people and the more the merrier. The people who come along often vary, but they’re mostly older people, around 50-plus, sometimes widows or those who have family abroad and can’t get to them.”

Jeffrey Agan, Sr. and Lorrie Spahn Agan untied the knot after 25 years of marriage. This decision came as a shock to everyone who knew them.

However, the story of these two people has a happy ending that melted the hearts of millions of Internet users worldwide.

After they split, both Lorrie and Jeffrey tried to find new purpose in life. While Lorrie opted to find herself through nature, Jeffrey pursued a new career.

Once it was posted online, the video had been seen by millions of people. Jeffrey Sr. told TODAY that he hopes their story can inspire other people to follow their hearts and believe in true love:

“So many people are going through painful experiences. So, I think what’s touched so many people about this video is there’s definite proof with this video that true love exists.
And that true love eventually will find its way — sometimes it just takes a little while and there might be a couple of detours.”

We hope this couple will have a great life willed with love ahead of them.

‘Secret Santa’ Gives Struggling Single Mom A Brand-New Car

With the holidays just around the corner, we somehow start feeling the holiday spirit which brings in us the desire to help those who are less fortunate. Christmas is that time of the year when we hear of stories of kind hearted humans who step in and make someone’s life better.

The East Idaho News’ “Secret Santa” gets to surprise struggling families for five years in a row. Anonymous donor gives them $250,000 and a few new cars to give to those in need.

This year, they got to change the life of two single mothers who try really hard to make ends meet. They both work more than two jobs just to make sure their kids have everything they need, including warm clothes, and food on the table.

Kacie is a mother of a 10-year-old boy whom she loves to the moon and back. She does her best to provide him with the life he deserves. Recently, this mother’s car broke down and it’s been really hard for her to get her son to school. Knowing how her situation was quite difficult, her friend nominated her for this year’s “Secret Santa.”

When the East Idaho News crew entered the hair saloon where Kacie works and handed her a small box, she immediately burst into tears of joy. The keys to her brand new car were in her hands, and she couldn’t be happier. That was life changing for both her and her son.

The other car went to the hands of another single mother of three whom her friends describe her as hardworking and devoted. Knocking on her door and giving her the surprise of her life melted our hearts.

We are thankful for everything East Idaho News does for the most vulnerable members of the community. Because at the end of the day, everyone deserves the best Christmas.

Christmas Presents Stolen From Struggling Single Mom’s Home

Every parent out there, no matter how rich or poor, does their best to give their children the perfect Christmas. Besides all the love they receive, kids would really love a nicely decorated Christmas tree with a bunch of presents underneath.

Angelica Huitt is a single mother of four who struggles making ends meet. This year, the family is moving to a new rental home in Sacramento County, California.

This mother works three jobs only to make sure her kids get the so much-anticipated presents. She somehow managed to save around $1000 for the gifts and she simply couldn’t wait to see her kids’ reaction to her surprise.

Unfortunately, the plan of having the perfect Christmas at their new place was ruined by some nasty thieves who broke the glass of their old place and took all the gifts. When she came home and stumbled upon the harrowing scene, her heart broke into a million pieces. She was left in shock and felt sorry for her little ones. All her trouble went down the drain.

And that’s not even the scariest part.

The way we treat veterans and seniors speaks a lot about us as a society. They have done a lot for the community and the country in general during their life and service and being kind to them is the least we can do to make them feel important and cared for.

The veteran was shocked by the surprise as well and couldn’t thank all the employees and manager Christina Gamage enough. They definitely made his day and reminded him how special he was to each and every one of them.

This story is a perfect example of how we should care for the elderly. Because as they get old they are many times left all by themselves and a simple act of kindness can make the rest of their days more enjoyable.
