Dad Surprises Mom With Ultimate Gift

Finding a soulmate that will understand your pain, smile with you when you are happy, and be there for you for bad and for worse isn’t something many people are lucky to experience. But those who do, have to make sure not to lose that person and always stick by their side.

But, life can be rough at times, and no matter how much they love and respect each other, people sometimes see the divorce as the only reasonable solution.

Jeffrey Agan, Sr. and Lorrie Spahn Agan untied the knot after 25 years of marriage. This decision came as a shock to everyone who knew them.

However, the story of these two people has a happy ending that melted the hearts of millions of Internet users worldwide.

After they split, both Lorrie and Jeffrey tried to find new purpose in life. While Lorrie opted to find herself through nature, Jeffrey pursued a new career.

But, somehow, they were both missing their old life and secretly wanted it back. Jeffrey was the first to confess by inviting his ex-wife to a romantic date, to which she agreed with a big smile on her face. Apparently, the divorce was a big mistake.

It looked like this Christmas was the right time for the two to try to make things right. Jeffrey got Lorrie the ultimate Christmas present. Their son Jeffrey Jr. shared his parents’ story with the Love What Matters Facebook page:

“My parents were married for more than 20 years, divorced, fought a lot, went to work on themselves. Years later, they start dating and as of yesterday, this happened… Congrats Mom and Dad! True love always finds its way back around.”

Jeffrey proposed to the same woman for the second time in his life, trying to fix the mistake he did when he agreed to a divorce.

Once it was posted online, the video had been seen by millions of people. Jeffrey Sr. told TODAY that he hopes their story can inspire other people to follow their hearts and believe in true love:

“So many people are going through painful experiences. So, I think what’s touched so many people about this video is there’s definite proof with this video that true love exists.

And that true love eventually will find its way — sometimes it just takes a little while and there might be a couple of detours.”

We hope this couple will have a great life willed with love ahead of them.
