Nine-Year-Old violinist wows with “Despacito” cover

Young children with remarkable talent for music always blow me away. And I like the fact that most of them, unlike many adults, know how to cope with the stage fright if they even have it.

Karolina Protsenko is a nine-year-old prodigy that plays the violin like no other kid her age that we know of. Her recent performance took our breath away. Moving to the rhythm of the famous “Despacito,” she caught the attention of the passersby of Santa Monica who couldn’t help but stop and enjoy the performance.

This exceptionally talented and stylish young girl made the onlookers’ day leaving them with a smile on their face.

Happy to be given the chance to witness something this extraordinary, they filled her bucket with money.

And as a real star in the making, she ended her show by treating the crowd with a smile and a bow, holding her instrument under her arm.

Karolina runs a YouTube channel where she posts videos of her performances that are followed by 100,000 people.

“I am Karolina Protsenko,” reads the description of her YouTube channel.

“I’ve been playing violin since I was 6 years old. My desire is to bring a little bit of magic and inspiration into the world through my love to violin. Thank you for helping me share the gift of music. I love you.”

She does exactly that. Gives the world a bit of magic through her performances of covers of some of the most popular songs such as Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” and Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You.” So she is definitely not a classical musician but is using her instrument to create a violin music blended with pop elements. Needless to say, the final result is a real treat for the ear. If you don’t believe us, you can check her channel and take a look at the number of performances she has shared there.

This is not the first time, however, for us to come across this newly created genre of music knows as pop violin.

Many agree how Karolina is a mini version of Stirling. One person says: “Props to her for doing this with Lindsey Stirling moves…amazing!” We’ve heard of Stirling and her unique music after she took the stage of the fifth season of America’s Got Talent. It’s fun how the judges of one of the greatest music talent shows didn’t really see it in her. They made it clear that her music was fine, but it didn’t impress them a great deal.

”You’re not untalented, but you’re not good enough, I don’t think, to get away with flying through the air and trying to play the violin at the same time,” said judge Piers Morgan.

Later, Stirling became a world famous YouTube sensation. She created new kind of music and it was enchanting to listen and to watch.

Her style is distinctive. She manages to blend electronic and classical elements in original music and covers. Her performances are vibrant, and full of energy that is easily transferred to the crowed, so her shows are one-of-a-kind.

Stirling has around 2 million subscribers and has released five albums. Some of the names she worked with are Pete Hollens and the most famous acapella group Pentatonix.

She’s not mad at the judges for turning her down because it made her more determined to achieve greater things.

“It hurt so bad because it was kind of true, and I think the truth hurts way more. And they were right. I hadn’t earned or developed the skills to be able to dance, to be thrown around up in the air while playing the violin. It’s really difficult.”

Now, years after she became a very successful star, she got invited to be part of the show once again, the season for the “Champions,” but she politely refused the invitation to get back on the stage of America’s Got Talent.

“It was really funny because they called me, and I thought maybe they wanted me to be a guest performer or something and I literally, my jaw kind of dropped,” she said. “They were like, ‘We want to invite you back on America’s Got Talent.’ And I was like, ‘Thank you. I don’t mean to be rude, but I would never come back to compete. Like, I’m sorry I do really well on my own now. I tour the world. Thank you, but absolutely not.’ It was a funny moment for me.”

As for Karolina, we believe she’ll become a world sensation just like Stirling because she has a spark that shows her confidence and her love of performing.

Her talent is undeniable and people accepted her as a girl that has so much to give in the years to come. One person comments:

“I’d probably drop every single penny in my pocket in the box. It touched my soul!”

It touched ours as well. She is a unique young lady that is on the right track.

If you’re worried that your faith in humanity is dwindling down to nothing, fear not! Katy Hurst is a woman with a heart of gold who will teach you why you should never stop believing in the good in people.

As she was waiting for her food at Independence, MO Burger King, an unusual sight caught her attention.

A man in his late fifties was sitting there weeping.

“I pulled around to wait for my order and he was there and he broke down crying,” Hurst told KMBC.

Someone identified the upset man as Pops.

“I saw him crying, he broke down and I didn’t know who this person was,” Hurst told FOX 43. “I had seen him through the community. He used to have a bike with a cart.”

Pops later told KMBC how he felt like he couldn’t take it anymore. He was tired of everything. Of his sad faith, of the pain he was feeling, of the people who would always choose to ignore his desperate need to be given a helping hand. He said how he was praying for an angel to get him home.

“I told him there’s a place at the table he set for me, I’m hungry, I’m ready to eat…if there’s room prepared for me, I’d like to come home,” he said.

Hurst was there to change all that. She assured him how his life wasn’t going to end that day. And she kept her promise.

“I was lonely, I was sad, I kept having one bad time after the next,” he told FOX 43.

She welcomed him to her home where he could take the much-needed rest. He was obviously in a bad shape and needed to see a doctor as soon as possible. Hurst understood how he was robbed and beaten, and he suffered severe injures.

“He said, ‘I have a broken collarbone, I have broken ribs, I’ve been beaten up,’” Hurst told FOX 43. “He needed somebody to step in and help him. That’s what I did.”

This wonderful lady shared Pops’ story with the world and asked kind-hearted people to step in and help as much as they could.

“Pops needs our help to show him that this world is still full of good people!” the YouCaring donation page reads.

Hurst’s plea inspired people to donate funds, and so far more than $7,500 have been raised.

Pops was given new clothes and hot meals, but his journey towards his brand new life has just started. He has a long way to go. But with the help of the community and people like Hurst nothing is impossible.

“He was very nice and a soft-spoken gentleman,” said hairstylist Pamela Denson. “He said all he did was pray. The only way he knew how to ask for help was to pray.”

The goal is to raise enough money for Pops to be provided with a place to stay.

“We have to help each other and helping each other helps all of us,” said Hurst.

Denzel Washington shares his feelings about the Christian faith

Faith in God has always been an important part of Denzel Washington’s life. This Oscar and Golden Globe awarded winner has spoken up about his religion in attempt to encourage young people not to be ashamed of their love for God.

Denzel was born December 28, 1954, in Mount Vernon, New York. He has known of God since the moment he became aware of the world, as a very young boy. His father, Reverend Denzel Hayes Washington, Sr., served God all his life. His mother, Lynne Washington, was a beauty salon owner.

Denzel had special relation with both his parents. They were all very close as a family. Denzel talks about his relation to his father saying:

“My father, my earthly father, Denzel Washington Sr. was a pastor for the Church of God in Christ for 60 years…
I know he’s smiling in heaven, seeing his son doing the best I can do today, by the grace of God.”

This was the life he knew until he turned 14 when he started hanging out with many different friends who didn’t have positive influence on him.

He was getting involved into fights very often and his relation with God sort of faded away after his parents divorced. Their separation affected the life of young Denzel a great deal.

His performance at school was poor, so his mother knew she had to make a change in her son’s life and try to get him back on track. She decided to place him in the nearby Oakland Military Academy.

This life changing decision brought God closer to Denzel once again. His faith became stronger than ever and that won’t change in the years to come.

According to the St. Louis American, this is what the actor had to say for the moment of enlightenment.

“I had flunked out of college. I had a 1.7 grade point average. I had no future…. I was sitting looking in the mirror and I see a woman behind me sitting under the dryer. Of course, the voice of God always comes from under a dryer.
She said, ‘young man, you are going to travel the world and speak to people.
Now mind you, I was 20 years old, with a 1.7 grade point average and had flunked out of school. She said, ‘you are going to preach.'”

These words came to young Denzel as sort of awakening. He knew he had to choose his next step carefully, so he eventually opted to enroll in Fordham University choosing medicine as his major. In the meantime, he played some baseball and everything seemed fine, but not for long.

Denzel didn’t feel complete. He knew he had to make a change so he took a semester off and pursued other options. In one moment he turned to Camp Sloane YMCA in Lakeville, Connecticut where he was offered a job position of a Creative Art Director. That seemed like a great idea.

The Camp Sloane website explained how their program helped propel Denzel into the actor he is today:

“The counselors there put on a talent show for the kids. I put together these little poems and rhymes and skits for the kids in my cabin, and we stood up on stage and did our bit. After the show this guy named Miles Joyce came up to me and said, ‘Man, you ever thought about being an actor?'”

That wasn’t something he ever though of doing, but the word “acting” sounded challenging.

Needless to say, getting involved into acting was the best decision he could ever make.

He returned to college but ditched his old studies and studied Arts in Journalism instead.

Quickly after, he found himself in a completely new world. That of Hollywood. He had his break up role in “Carbon Copy” and his career went upwards making him one of the best and most famous world actors.

After that breakout role, Denzel landed spots on Glory, Crimson Tide, The Preacher’s Wife, Malcolm X and The Hurricane, just to name a few!

But Denzel’s biggest film thus far, Training Day, brought him the highest award possible in Hollywood: an Oscar for Best Actor. It was his crowning achievement after nearly two decades in the industry!

Despite his incredible success, he told Charisma News that God never lost faith in him:

“There’s never been a time where God didn’t direct, protect, and correct me…. There may have been times where I was less than faithful to Him, but He had faith in me.”

He believes he owes his success and fame to his faith in God. Both he and his wife Pauletta Pearson are devoted Christians who managed to keep their marriage strong despite the pressure his career had on their relationship.

Denzel told the Huffington Post that couples nowadays don’t seems to share the same drive to make things work:

“We live in a time – and it’s not for me to judge anyone – when people give up too easy.”

In the same Huffington Post article, Pauletta said that marriage isn’t all happiness and roses:

“I live with this man. I see the down part. I see the sad part. I see every part.
He has and knows he has that stability in me as his wife.
That’s gives him strength, regardless of if he misuses it. I can’t dwell on that. But I do know that gives him a great platform to go and fly.”

Their marriage of 33 years is still one of the strongest in Hollywood. The reason why? Denzel says:

“Two phrases. One is “yes, dear” and the other is “honey, you’re right.” Be patient. Be good friends first. And stick together. You gotta work at it. I’ve been married 31 years. It’s not all a honeymoon, it’s not all flowers and roses, but if you’re friends and partners and committed, you’ll be okay.”

A good marriage means never giving up of one another.

“I just think that you have to work at it. Not give up on each other. It’s a commitment. It’s not all the honeymoon, it doesn’t last forever, so you work at it.”

Although fame can come and go, the faith in God and the relationship with the right person are forever.

In addition to his marriage advice, Denzel told Evangelical Focus that there’s one thing you have to keep in mind during the good times and the bad:

“Number one, put God first in everything you do.
Everything that you think you see in me and everything you think I’ve accomplished and everything you think I have… everything I have is by the grace of God, understand that. It’s a gift.”

He shares his life story with the world to inspire those who are struggling with doubt. He adds that although he lost his faith in God at some point in life, God never lost faith in him.

Toddler Performs With Brass Band In New Orleans

I don’t think there is anyone out there who doesn’t appreciate good music. Many times, even if we are not in the mood of singing or dancing, we find ourselves lightly moving around in the rhythm or mumbling the lyrics once our favorite song comes along.

Take this lovely boy for example. He got into his role of a musician so much that he managed to put huge grin on the onlookers’ faces. Looking at him rolling will melt your heart. The band is more than happy to let him join them in.

Little Boone and his mommy Stefanie are from Pensacola, Florida but they were taking a trip to New Orleans where they stumbled upon the performance by the band of jazz musicians who are well known to the New Orleans residents. “Where Ya At Brass Band” got together back in 2010 and are making the crowd happy ever since. They performed at the 2014 NBA All-Star Game, the 2013 Texas Music Festival, and the 2016 Jazz Musical Press Conference.

The Jackson Square was the place where all the fun was that day.

Passersby were stopping to enjoy the incredible sound coming from the square, but none could imagine that the show they were putting on will become even more entertaining with another member joining in.

Cute Boone was holding in his tiny hands an object resembling a trumpet and confidently started “playing” on it as he approached the band members. They accepted the boy with a smile and were glad he decided to add to the fun.

One of the musicians squatted behind Boone while blowing his trumpet and that made the boy swaying his hips while blowing his “trumpet.”

Everyone enjoyed the sight, including Stefanie who couldn’t hold her laughter back. She was so proud of her son. He didn’t mind performing in front of an audience, and acted as though he had done it countless of times before.

One of the people who witnessed the cute performance recorded it and posted it on YouTube.

The crowd couldn’t stop clapping as the band let Boone steal the show by putting him in the limelight. After a while, Stefanie thought it was enough “playing” for that day so they both thanked the band members and left.

As they were leaving the square, Boone didn’t stop “playing his trumpet.”

Everyone agrees that this toddler is one-of-a-kind. Not every child his age has the courage to stand in front of a bunch of people and pretend to play the instrument. He is a real star in the making.

We all agree that the singing competition shows such as Britain’s Got Talent and X Factor catch our attention because we are eager to discover new talents the way the judges are. Whenever someone takes the stage we wonder whether the next Susan Boyle is about to shine and steal our hearts.

However, we often forget how many people who are extremely talented don’t even take part in such shows. Although we are aware of this, we are still a bit surprised when someone really talented comes along our way, like this adorable choir from Ireland. Even though their vocals are exceptional, the video of them performing at a Christmas concert vent viral for another reason.

The members from the Mount Sion Choir in Waterfowrd performed the song “Shallow” from the movie “A star is born” which requires out-of-this-world vocal skills to be completed at least close to the original.

Luckily, Jessica Reinl and Christopher Halligan posses energetic voices that filled the room with amazing energy. Their singing was accompanied by the soft sound of the piano which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Chris started singing first, and when the time came for Jess to let her voice loose something really sweet happened. Her singing partner Chris started smiling, feeling all proud of the way she performed her part. It was as though he was hearing her voice for the first time. His reaction was spotted by everyone around and they all agreed it was a fun one.

Some even say that the big grin on his face was a result of his nervousness because he was performing in front of a bunch of people whose eyes were all looking at him and his fellow friends.

When they sang together, their voices blended in a perfect harmony and they created a real pleasure for the eyes and ears of everyone present at this Christmas show. The video of the beautiful performance has been seen by millions of people.

It looks like this Lady Gaga’s song was the real deal for this choir that gained a lot of followers that day. They are planning on releasing a single with the help of the Irish singer and a songwriter Don Mescall. It will be for the benefit of The Solas Centre in Waterford, Can Teen, and Can Care 4 Living.

And as we all agree that their talent is truly amazing, it’s Chris’ reaction that made the whole thing more memorable.

Toddler embraces stranger when he notices they have something in common

The need to be around other people and share our emotions with those who we believe are similar to us is what makes us human beings. The connections we make during our life time define us and speak a lot about us as individuals.

A woman from Orlando experienced the most heartwarming encounter in her life. An adorable young boy approached her and felt the need to treat her with a hug. Why? Because he believed they were the same.

“The Lucky Pin Project” is a non profit organization that enables meet-ups for people with limb differences. The emotional moment took place during one of the events they hosted, where lovely Joseph Tidd was with his parents.

As he was making everyone around smile with the sweet “good-byes” he was sharing around, the 1-year-old boy’s attention was captured by the 34-year-old Amy Siesel, from Mexico.

Why this young mom was so appealing for Joseph is because she had an undeveloped right arm which was a result of a side effect of the medicine her mother was taking while she was pregnant with her. Lovely Joseph was missing his left arm, so seeing someone with the same birth defect made him come closer.

Amy greeted her new pal in the cutest way possible, by rising her arm for a fist bump.

Everyone around agreed how amazing it was for the boy to feel the connection with someone similar to him. It was as though he knew Amy for a long time. This kind soul felt the need to give Amy a hug. She was overwhelmed with emotions and couldn’t believe how deep this simple gesture affected her.

This meeting was something both of them needed badly. Amy was pleased to show the boy that he wasn’t alone and that’s something his parents appreciated very much.

As she was holding Joseph in her arms, their affected limbs were touching as though they were doing fist bumps. The reason behind Joseph’s undeveloped arm was a condition that prevented it from getting fully developed while he was still in his mommy’s womb.

However, Joseph is very lucky to have caring parents like Colleen and Miles who do all in their power to make him feel accepted. They want to teach him that not having an arm doesn’t make him less worth or any different than the rest of the world. That is why they support initiatives like the one organized by “Lucky Fin Project.” It’s a great way for their son to get to bond with people, many of which have the same condition as him.

Tim Tebow Fans Can’t Believe His Big News With Miss Universe

One of the most adorable American couples are engaged and the fans from all over the country are going crazy. Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters said YES, and we can’t be more excited for her and her fiancé Tim Tebow.

These devoted Christians fell in love during an event hosted by Tim’s foundation and they became inseparable ever since.

Demi-Leigh’s sister is a girl with special needs and she was part of “Night to Shine,” a prom-like occasion that hosts young teenagers with certain disabilities, and makes them feel extra special by walking on a red carpet and being treated like queens and kings. The one when the two sweethearts first met took place in Demi-Leigh’s home country South Africa.

The moment they laid eyes on each other, they knew they were meant to be. Their devotion to God and the faith they live by is only one of the things they have in common.

Tim shared with PEOPLE details about the romantic proposal. Although they dated for a short period of time, he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life by her side.

He invited her to his family farm outside of Jacksonville, Florida where he had set up an arbor and a custom designed bench engraved with the date the couple first met.

Tim proposed saying: “Demi Leigh Nel-Peters, I love you. Demi Leigh Nel-Peters, will you marry me?” and that was a moment to remember. To be honest, that 7.25-carat solitaire ring suits her perfectly.

“This ring is internally flawless. Just like you.”

As though this wasn’t enough surprise for the day, Tim arranger South African singer Mattew Mole to serenade the lovely couple one of their favorite songs.

“I actually wasn’t really nervous. I was excited. I wanted everything to be perfect and to go smoothly. But I wasn’t nervous to actually ask her.”

He couldn’t wait to share the big news with his fans by posting a cute photo on Instagram.

“Thank you for saying YES and making me the happiest man in the world. You’re the love of my life, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

She posted the same photo with the following caption:

“Any dreams I’ve ever had, you’ve exceeded them all! I love you and I can’t wait to spend forever with you! @timtebow.“

But what’s a moment like this if you don’t share it with those that mean the world to you. Their family and friends were all there to congratulate the newly engaged couple.

They have spent a great day together, cherishing and celebrating the love of Tim and Demi-Leigh. Her father suggested the guests to make a circle around the couple and pray for their life together. It was an emotional moment that united the two families even stronger.

They have same plans for the future and know they’ll continue their life mission of helping the less fortunate and be valuable part of the community.

When a police officer overheard a guy treating his date terribly, an epic dialogue took place

When you notice a person in trouble, you feel the urge to step in and help. That’s exactly what a Reddit user planned on doing after he overheard a guy threatening the girl he was out on a date with. But as he wanted to head towards the couple, a man came closer and said, “I have this.” What happened next is sort of amazing and restores our faith in humanity.

So, possibly one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. I mean you know how you hear the “women want him, men want to be him” stuff in old movies? Well I’m a man and by god I wanted to be this guy. Anyway!

I’m having dinner with my girlfriend at the time, and behind us are a couple on a date. It is not going well. Guy was being rather creepy and making some pretty inappropriate comments, the girl doesn’t look at all comfortable.

The girl finishes her appetizer really quickly, my guess is she wanted to get it over with. Guy proceeds to comment on it and says “well, least I know you can swallow right?”. Loudly.
Girl goes red and tells him that isn’t appropriate, he literally waves his hand in a “shoo” type motion and says “oh calm down I was going to find out in a few hours anyway”.

I missed her exact reply as she moved to a hushed tone, but it was fairly obvious what was being said – f*ck no, f*ck off, f*ck this. He responded with “sweetheart I picked you up, I know where you live”. She lost the color in her face and said nothing.

I’m not one of those “get involved” type of people, but there is no way I’m sitting here watching this go down. I get up. I don’t know what I’m going to do, but I’m 23, fighting fit and happy to put that motherf*cker through a wall.

I was halfway out of my chair when a hand came down on my shoulder and I look up to this mid-50s but super fit guy who says “Easy.. I’ve got this one son”. Absolute, total confidence in his voice..

He walks over, grabs a nearby chair, flips it around and sits down with the couple. Then.. he pulls out his police ID and puts it on the table. Now the guy doesn’t have any color in his face.

Cop: “So, I’m quietly celebrating my daughters birthday with my family when I distinctly hear you threaten this young lady, would you care to explain yourself?”

Guy: “I, ah, well, um, you see..”

Cop: “That’s what I thought. Now see, we take a very dim view of that kind of thing, so right now I’m deciding if I want to have some of my buddies come pick you up.”

Guy: “oh no well that…”

Cop: “But that would disrupt everyone’s dinner, so how about you hand me your ID, because I wouldn’t want you running off on me, then you go see one of the staff here and settle your bill.. the full bill now, this young lady shouldn’t go hungry on account of your poor behavior. Or we can go with the first option, I’ll leave it up to you.”

Guy: “No no! That’s perfectly fine!” *hands over ID, gets up and walks very quickly in the direction of the counter*

Cop: *while writing down the guys details* “Sorry about that miss, I hope I’m not intruding it just seemed like you could use some help. Oh and don’t worry, if you want to pursue this further I’ll have some of the boys pick him up on his way home, we can definitely take this further.”

Girl: “No, thank you so much, I wanted to run out 30 minutes ago but he drove me here”.

Cop: *shifts from hard-ass cop to comforting father figure in about half a second* “Well I’m here with my daughter, she’s about your age, perhaps you’d like to finish your meal with us? We can take you home afterwards if you’d like, unless you’d prefer to call someone else?”

Girl: “Oh.. that would be really nice.. thank you so much!”

*guy returns, so does the cop*

Guy: “Uh so, I’ve paid the bill, if I could have my ID back..”.

Cop: “There you go.. now I have your details right here so I highly recommend you don’t go near or contact this young lady ever again.”

Guy: “Yes yes of course, I’m so sorry!”

The guy pretty much fled the restaurant, the girl went and sat with the cop and his family and by the time we left they were still sitting around talking and laughing about random crap.

It was hands down the best way I have ever seen anybody handle any situation, ever.

That cop is my hero.

We believe the cop acted the best way possible and couldn’t handle the situation any better. Would you do anything differently?

Police Rip Open Attic Crawl Space Nailed Shut, Find Missing 6-Year-Old Locked Inside

After the mother of 6-year-old Braedence Jones from Camden County, Missouri failed to return him to his father, Ryan Jones, the boy has been reported missing. According to Lake Expo, the father court-ordered custody of the child and that’s when everything started. From that moment, no one knew where the boy could be.

Both the father and the authorities were deeply concerned for Braedence well-being because his mother’s boyfriend, Ferguson, whom they assumed was near the child, was a convicted felon.

The search for the little boy went on for almost six months. He was found after following a tip from the U.S. Marshals Service Midwest Violent Fugitive Task Force, KTVI reported.

The case of Braedence got the public attention and everyone was praying for the boy to be found safe and sound. These kinds of cases affect people very deeply because the lives of young children are in question.

Many people offered their help and there was a Facebook page “Help Bring Braedence Home” where people could share any information that could help officers track the boy down.

The search was finally over when Braedence was located inside a home around 30 miles from his father’s home, in a crawlspace in the attic.

He was inside together with his mother, and that tiny space where they were staying was nailed shut.

Little Braedence reunited with his daddy and it was indeed heartwarming. Ryan and his girlfriend Breanne Dominguez couldn’t be happier for having their son by their side again. They went on to thank everyone who helped along the way, saying:

“Our little boy is home! God is so good! Thank you all for the prayers, shared, phone calls and etc. we don’t know how to thank everyone enough. Our hearts are so full of joy. Just thank you everyone.”

The federal attorney charged Ferguson with multiple crimes, and currently, he is in custody.

“We also want to thank every officer that has helped on the way and looked for him,” Dominguez wrote in a separate post. “Thank you all for bringing him home, you all will forever be in our hearts.”

We are also very happy because the search ended well and Braedence will have a happy childhood with people who love him instead of being on the run with his mother and her criminal boyfriend.

A family friend set up a GoFundMe page where people can donate to help the family cover the costs for the search.

I don’t really understand why someone would still believe that people with Down syndrome are likely to live less fulfilling life than that of other people. This belief comes from those same judgmental and biased individuals who would shamelessly stare at someone who is a bit different than them, not realizing that being different means being unique.

Luckily, the number of those who are supportive towards the individuals with Down syndrome is huge, and we can’t be happier because of the fact that whole communities are becoming friendly towards these people.

Take lovely Andrew for example. He is our hero who proves once again that if you really want something, every obstacle can be easily overcome. He is taking part in the new show “The Greatest Dancer.” It aired on England’s BBC One and is produced by Simon Cowell’s entertainment company and focuses on ordinary people.

Andrew is truly extraordinary. His audition began as he and his mother entered the waiting-room space.

“Show time!” he exclaimed as his mother tied his dancing shoes. “It’s all about me now, Mum.”

His mother explained how he fell in love with dancing since he was 11 years old. This affection grew stronger by Andrew watching dancing shows and performances, just like the one he was about to take part in. You already assume, this means the world to this boy who would spent his days practicing the moves in his home’s living room.

“It just made him feel joyful,” she explained. “And that’s what started him on his love of dance.”

“Dance has helped Andrew’s confidence enormously,” she added. “His self-esteem has rocketed.”

The Evening Express pointed out that the concept of this show is quite different than everything we’ve seen so far. The contestants will only be revealed to the crowd if they get 75% of the audience’s votes in their favor. If this happens, lights flash.

Andrew started dancing to Justin Timberlake’s 2016 hit “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” and his performance is just wow. You just have to see it for yourself!

The show he put on stage made everyone’s day. He got the audience’s votes in no time and even made judge Cheryl Tweedy shed some tears.

“That was amazing and to watch you and see your excitement and see how much you thrive from an audience is such a special moment,” she said. “You clearly need to be doing this more because it does something for your soul, you’re in your element.”

Although Andrew’s dancing stole our hearts, another scene touched us to the core. As our star was about to start performing a woman from the audience was seen touching the shoulder of another young man with Down Syndrome saying in excitement, “Tom, Tom, there’s Andrew.” This was very sweet!

Seeing his best friend rocking the stage put a smile on his face, the way he put on ours.

However, the older generations may experience certain difficulties when it comes to using the modern devices, and many of them simply refuse to learn how to check their e-mail, talk via Facetime or Skype, or share the way they feel by sending emojis on Viber. As long as they lived in the time when the typewriter was a thing, they are probably outdated. However, they are way more skilled than the youngsters when it comes to REAL face to face communication spiced with a pinch of old-school humor. Take this witty lady for example, she is gonna make you laugh.

Three women, two younger, and one senior citizen, were sitting naked in a sauna. Suddenly there was a beeping sound. The young woman pressed her forearm and the beep stopped. The others looked at her questioningly. ‘That was my pager,’ she said. ‘I have a microchip under the skin of my arm.’

A few minutes later, a phone rang. The second young woman lifted her palm to her ear. When she finished, she explained, ‘That was my mobile phone. I have a microchip in my hand.’

The older woman felt very low-tech. Not to be outdone, she decided she had to do something just as impressive. She stepped out of the sauna and went to the bathroom. She returned with a piece of toilet paper hanging from her rear end.

Doctor Performs C-Section, But Something Grabbed His Finger

It is simply unexpected!

A couple named Randy and Alicia Atkins shared a special yet unique moment together, with proof in the form of a photo in which most parents would just shake their heads and gasp at – it was not something everyone would commonly experience. Plus, it happened during a surgical procedure.
While Alicia was giving birth to their daughter which required a C-section, her husband Randy Atkins had been informed, much to his surprise, by one of the doctors – that their daughter had grabbed onto his finger during the surgery! A very bewildered Randy took it upon himself to see the moment with his very own eyes and take a commorative photo of that phenomenon. Little did he know that soon the picture would go viral once uploaded on social media.
“The doctor called me over and said, ‘Hey, she’s grabbing my finger.’ So I ran over there and just grabbed the shot and I was just in awe looking at it. It was such an amazing picture,” recalled Randy Atkins. His wife added: “It was all the doctor could talk about for weeks.” Alicia mentions that her doctor even has his own canvas print of the photo.

The Atkins couple had dearly named their daughter Nevaeh, which actually meant Heaven, spelled backwards. The hospital staff discussed with the Atkins about that moment, as if there was something almost spiritual about the picture of their daughter holding onto the doctor’s finger before she was born. Naveah is the newest addition to their family, with two older siblings.
The photo has since gained more than 1,000 likes on Facebook. Alicia even got a few monetary offers from organizations who even expressed great interest in buying he photo!

The reality is that no matter how hard you try to nail at your parenting style, you are likely to end up with a child that throws tantrums every now and then. The reason behind this behavior is not that you failed in raising them right, but because they go through stages while growing up and getting mad and acting stubborn are just one of them.

However, knowing this doesn’t really help parents deal with the embarrassment when their kid decides to throw a tantrum at a public place. These kinds of situations can be a bit awkward and no matter how moms and dads try to deal with the issue, they’ll be regarded “bad parents” by the onlookers. Well, at least by those who don’t have children on their own.

If you decide to ignore them, people will say you are not a good parent because you are not taking things into your own hands, if you try to calm them down that would probably make them scream even louder, and if you yell at them back, oh boy, you are definitely not getting the parent of the year award. To be honest, parents don’t have it easy.

Brianna Lelos, a Massachusetts mom, felt uneasy after her little girl decided to tell the world that she hated doing shopping that day. She made it clear enough by screaming and sitting on the ground. She simply refused to move.

Just when Brianna though she had it enough, an employee named Liliana decided to step in and try to calm the child down. She took the time to sit on the floor herself and kept the toddler company until she was ready to get back to her mommy again. The incident took place at the Target store in Wilmington.

Briana felt glad and very thankful. She didn’t expect for this loving and caring young lady to stop doing was she was doing and step in. This mother felt the urge to share the story on Twitter.

Hairstylist Refuses To Shave Depressed Teen’s Matted Hair – Gives Her Makeover Of A Lifetime Instead

In the past, the medical community associated depression with adulthood, but the reality is very much different. Many young people are likely to suffer from this condition during their teenage years. Around 11% of all the teens in the U.S have experienced an episode of depression.

Depression, as a condition, is characterized by persistent sadness, despair, and hopelessness. Although teenagers can be moody at times, this is something way more serious, and it’s crucial for it to be recognized at the early stage.

These people are overly critical of themselves and feel worthless. They can even have suicidal thought and usually isolate themselves from the rest of the world.

People should be aware of the signs that lead to depression and learn how to cope with it, mainly by seeking friendship and trying to be around people, because stumbling upon considering individuals may help in their fight. That was the case with the 16-year-old girl from Waterloo, Iowa. She visited a hair saloon after weeks spent in bed.

The girl told the hairdresser how she didn’t wash nor combed her hair in weeks, because she didn’t feel like doing anything except for being locked in her room. Needless to say, her hair was in an awful condition. It was unlike anything the hairdresser has even seen before.

The girl had a simple request. She wanted her hair shaved or cut really short, because she was well aware there was nothing could be done. But 20-year-old stylist Kayley Olsson knew better than that. She felt she had to take things in her hands and give this girl a makeover to remember. Maybe that could help boost her self-confidence. She knew it would take hours to untangle the hair, but she also knew it would be worth it.

Kayley told the BBC:

“Cutting her hair was absolutely not an option for me. I knew right then and there that we had to keep as much hair as possible.”

Kayley and her fellow stylist Mariah spent total of 13 hours combing the girl’s hair.

Of course, the process was painful, but they wouldn’t let the girl give up or feel like a burden:

“It took a lot of encouraging words, reassurance, and just plain conversation to take her mind off of the pain involved in removing the matting and to boost her self esteem and confidence.”

The two stylist knew how it felt like to be facing with mental issues and they could relate to their client.

“I was able to very closely relate to her mental health problems and the daily struggle that comes with them, due to my struggles with postpartum depression and anxiety,” explained Mariah.
“I understood how it felt to feel worthless – a child should never feel like that. I knew I had to help her, just like people helped me. We all deserve to feel beautiful.” Kayley said.

The girl was very excited. That wasn’t only a hairstyle change, but a life change that would hopefully make her feel good about herself again. She was now ready to get back to school without being mocked about her appearance.

Kayley posted about the incident on her Facebook page, reporting that the girl’s final words to her were:

“I will actually smile for my school’s pictures today, you made me feel like me again.”

The Facebook post has been shared more than 79 thousand times and received more than 200,000 reactions.

Teen depression can be a result of a stressful home environment, poverty or violence in the family, the loss of a close friend or a relative, learning difficulties, or peer bullying.

These teens avoid social events, have lack of focus, are usually exhausted, and even suffer from insomnia. The list of reasons, signs and symptoms is however much longer.

Son Brought To Tears Upon Seeing Mom’s TV Show Makeover

Being a woman means having so much on your plate. Constantly torn between a bunch of commitments such as running errand, looking after the kids, making sure the place is in perfect order, pursuing a career, and a lot more, many women don’t have the time for themselves. Years pass by, and when they look in the mirror they realize it’s been a very long time that they haven’t chained their wardrobe, or their hairstyle.

One mother from Virginia found herself trapped in the same style and desperately needed a change.

Michelle Moyers, 48, made the first step towards her new life by loosing 40 pounds. However, she needed a push from some professionals so she found herself at TODAY’s plaza holding a sign saying: “I lost 40lbs & still Going!!! 30th Class Reunion next month.”

This mother was over the moon when the Ambush crew approached her and told her she was getting the much needed makeover.

They started with her long hair that hadn’t been cut in years. That pile of hair was now turned into nicely shaped waves and highlights.

Her baggy clothes found their way into the trash. Her figure will now be accentuated with some brand new clothes.

It’s amazing how the looks of Michelle was changed in such a short time. She doesn’t resemble the lady of a couple of days ago. This makeover shed a few years off her face. We wonder if her classmates will be able to recognize her at the reunion.

But the best part is yet to come. Her new look is about to be revealed in front of her friends and her son Daniel. He has been very supportive of his mom during the whole process and now he can’t hold his tears back. He’s so happy for his mother, because he knows she deserves this.

Woman Doesn’t Believe Black Man Flies In 1st Class, Gets Last Laugh With His ‘First Class’ Reply

No matter how much we want certain issues such as racism to be part of the past, we witness many situations that prove there are still people out there who consider themselves superior over others only because of the skin color. Unfortunately, that’s the sad reality we face every single day.

The latest story that we’ve stumbled upon provoked outrage at everyone who saw how this lady treated another passenger.

Emmit Walker was about to take a flight from Washington D.C to the Dominican Republic for his birthday celebration. This music executive was waiting in the line for priority boarding.

As he was waiting, the woman behind him approached and asked him whether he was at the right line.

This made Walker a bit angry. He felt the need to share the story on his Facebook page.

He posted a photo and a description of the conversation they had.

She was confident Walker was in the wrong line. She probably assumed he couldn’t be flying first class so after she said excuse me, she went on explaining how he should switch lines and how his name will be called once those with priority boarding tickets are on board.

Walker tried to explain to her how he actually had a priority boarding pass. He even told her how he was in the line in front of her so she would get on the plane after him.

Even after Walker showed her his ticket, she couldn’t wrap her head around the fact that he could afford a first-class ticket.

Why would she even care how would someone pay for their ticket. She could have mind her own business, but she was way too rude to do that.

Walker was overwhelmed when he heard her muttering how he was probably in the military and that had to be the reason behind him waiting in her line. Even adding how military members shouldn’t be allowed to board before paying customers.

He then turned to her and told her that he was “too big” for the military. He was just a black guy with money. Was that too hard to understand?

Onlookers were pleased to see how Walker dealt with the presumptuous lady.

What Walker didn’t expect was for his post to spread online like a wildfire.

By the time he landed to his destination, he realized the number of people it reached. But as he explained later, he never intended for it to go viral, because ho matter how frustrated this woman made him feel, he still felt sorry for her and didn’t want people to “attack her” because the incident was already behind.

This amazing man took to Instagram to make a public apology to the woman who believed he couldn’t buy himself a ticket only because he was black.

Although the woman’s behavior towards him displayed racism, he didn’t want to expose her to that many people.

As he wrote down, writing that post wasn’t really the best solution.

He assumed that the lady was sorry for what she did and he didn’t want her to go through hell because of him. He was really looking forward to having a blissful day and a nice birthday celebration but he couldn’t get over the fact that that lady’s day was ruined for what she did.

Walker says he’s a kind of guy who never does anybody wrong, but always tries to put himself in other people’s shoes.

Woman Transforms Rotting Tree In Her Yard Into Charming Neighborhood Library

With the advance of technology and the youth expecting everything to be served up on their plate, one would assume traditional libraries will become obsolete in the future. But, that’s far from happening. According to a Pew Research study, around 53% of the Americans aged 18 to 35 visited a library at least once last year.

And although there are huge and gracious libraries around the world containing millions of books and that many visitors, this one is indeed unique and special because it is full of soul.

It has been “made” by re-purposing the old tree with huge roots that had to be cut down. This rotting tree is outside the home of Sharalee Armitage Howard. She was completely aware that keeping the tree was dangerous, but she didn’t want to lose it either. It has been an important part of the neighborhood in the last 110 years, and to everyone’s surprise, Howard found the perfect way to keep it.

With the help of the remarkable artistic skills of artist Coeur d’Alene from Idaho, the tree was turned into the coziest and most appealing tiny library. Now everyone can enjoy a good book inside the immense tree that was a symbol of the neighborhood.

“We had to remove a huge tree that was over 110 years old, so I decided to turn it into a little free library (which I’ve always wanted),”
Sharalee wrote on her Facebook page.
“Here it is (minus some cleanup, vegetation, and trim work)!”

The converted tree is now called “Little Free (Tree) Library” and it offers some of the most famous books. People are not only given the chance to borrow a book, but will be able to share the ones they possess.

The appearance of the library is pretty attractive, with a glass door and a path made of huge stones. The book cases are illuminated so that one can take a look on the inside without having to open the door.

“A fun detail that didn’t show up in my first picture, is that the dental moulding above the door, is actually little, titled, wooden books,” she writes.

The books are all engraved with the titles of famous books.

This masterpiece gathered the attention of many people, and some local news outlets picked the story behind it.

What Sharalee did is indeed special. She is now a member of the Little Free Library organization that sets small libraries in every corner of the country.

FedEx Driver Feels God Call Her To Pray with Woman, Returns to Her Front Door 20 Stops Later

Nowadays, not many young people set as a mission in life to be providing help and assistance to those in need or those who deserve to be given recognition for what they do for the country and the community. But Amanda Riggan is unlike other people. This woman lives her life by letting God and his will guide her and show her the right path.

She works as a FedEx driver, but is running the organization “Hungry Heroes” at the same time. This organization thanks local heroes by providing them with food. This is their goal:

“Thanks to the amazing support from the community and local businesses, Hungry Heroes has been able to serve over 600 heroes throughout York County and surrounding areas since it was founded in April 2018.”

“Feeding 1st Responders one agency at a time — we serve those who serve and protect us as our way to show our appreciation to Police, Fire, EMS, and Military. Serving BBQ with a ‘Thank You.’”

However, Amanda’s recent experience that she shared on Facebook is what makes her stand out as a person who is devoted to bringing smile and happiness in the life of others. Below is the touching story of the encounter she had with a lovely elderly woman she stumbled upon while doing her job.

“As I’m delivering, I pull up to this house, the lady walks out because she’s checking her mailbox for her newspaper. And I have two boxes for her, so we start walking up the driveway together, and she asks me if I had a happy holidays, and I was telling her how busy it was.”

“I told her I had a really great Christmas and New Years, and I asked her the same, I was like ‘how was your holidays?’ And with tears in her eyes, she said it wasn’t good. She said, ‘He’s sick. My husband’s sick. He has cancer.’”

“I continue to small talk and try to change the subject because that’s awkward, and I deliver her package. She said ‘what’s your name?’ I said ‘Amanda,’ and she told me her name. I drove off. My heart’s pounding. I do probably 20 more stops, and I have to go back.”

She was well aware that going back would mean being late and getting off the tight schedule, but she also knew nothing was more important than being there for a person in need. God works that way, He puts on our path someone we should lend a helping hand to, and that’s exactly what Amanda did.

“I stopped what I was doing. I went back to that neighborhood, and rang her doorbell, and asked her — she came down the stairs, she had tears in her eyes when she saw it was me, she smiled, and I said ‘Ma’am can I pray with you?’ And she just broke down. She came out on the front porch and squeezed me so tight.”

She made a decision to knock on that woman’s door once again and tell her that she’s not left to fight her battles alone. Amanda has some words of wisdom to share with those who will ever find themselves in a similar situation.

“The point of this is, is a lot of people want the Lord to use them, and for me — as an example, I pray every day for the Lord to use me, but when He’s trying to use you or when you feel that call, and that tug on your heartstrings, do you move your feet? Do you move?”

“When you feel those tugs on your heartstrings, and you feel like you need to do this, stop and do it.”

“If you’re praying for the Lord to help and to use you in people’s situations, when He is giving you a chance, do it. . . Be sure you know what you’re praying for when you’re praying.”

We are beyond thankful for people like Amanda who make a difference in people’s life and make this world a better place.

Daughter finds items belonging to neighbor after cleaning dad’s place out

Ken Watson wasn’t a regular retiree. At the age of 85, this brave old man learned how to skydive, and that was just one of the many risky stunts he enjoyed performing. Each day of his life was an adventure and he lived it to the fullest. But this man had a secret that his family learned of only after he said the last goodbye.

Although it may sound unusual, this loving elderly became friends with a 2-year-old Cadi whose family lived next door. Everyone was aware that he grew fond of her, but no one knew how much. After his funeral, Ken’s daughter went through his stuff and was stunned to find something that belonged to the sweet little neighbor.

Ken knew that his life was coming to an end which meant he wouldn’t be able to give Cadi presents for the most beautiful time of the year, so he came with an amazing idea that touch the hearts of everyone. The old man bought 14 Christmas gifts he carefully wrapped. He wanted Cadi to receive a different present until she would turn 16. Owen, Cadi’s dad,a told the BBC:

“Our elderly neighbour passed away recently. His daughter popped round a few moments ago clutching a large plastic sack. In the sack were all the Christmas presents he’d bought for *our* daughter for the next thirteen years.”

Owen and his wife shared an emotional moment remembering the loving neighbor who cared so much for little Cadi. They had no idea how he planned on delivering the gifts each year, they only knew it was the sweetest thing ever.

Cadi’s family wanted to grant their neighbor’s wish and arrange for the girl to be getting different present every Christmas, but the thing was that they weren’t labeled and they didn’t know what order they should be opened. They were probably carefully selected to fit her age over the years.

Owen was curious and opened one of them, and there was a book inside. Another one had a plush toy, as for the rest, well, that remains a mystery.

Ken only knew Cadi’s parents for a couple of years, because it was two years before the baby girl was born that he moved in the neighborhood. But he loved that girl as though she was his own granddaughter. Owen says Ken was a “real, real, character” and his actions do confirm that he was one of a kind. A neighbor anyone would ask for.

Nowadays, not many people have close relationships with those living around because everyone is way too busy to be making friends with the neighbors. Ken however, was an old school. He lived in the time when people were more supportive of one another, and knew how to wave hi and goodbye with a smile whenever they’d see each other.

What’s better than when you end the day with a relaxing bath and a good TV show that makes you laugh and helps you gather the energy for the next day. While these days there are some top-notch comedies staring famous comedians, nothing compares with the good old shows such as Carol Burnett Show that stood the test of time and it’s still one of our favorite.

Well, we can’t expect less from a crew that’s one of a kind, so whenever there are the names of Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, and Tim Conway listed next to each other, that’s acting to remember. One of the best scenes that today’s featured star Tom shot left not only the audience, but his fellow actors as well, in stitches.

These types of shows are usually shot in front of a life audience so the actors are under pressure to do everything right the first time they shoot a scene. But for actors like Tim, nothing is a challenge. He makes his job looks like a piece of cake, that’s how good he is.

Playing the role of Carol’s grandpa, he is about to come down the stairs, but why would he do it as every other person would when he can fall down in full slow-motion. It’s one of the best scenes ever and it makes us burst out laughing every time we watch it. Yes, you are gonna see it more than once, that’s for sure. Carol and Harvy can’t contain their laughter either.
During the filming he became known for cracking up his co-stars with his improvisations.

Tim had an impact on the whole show. It wouldn’t be the same without his amazing acting skills as a comedian. He later moved to other shows and films. During the late 70s he paired with Don Knotts for several movies and later enjoyed success with the Dorf movies. This six-time Emmy award winner lent his voice to Barnacle Boy, the Nickelodeon’s fictional character in Spongebob Squarepants. A trait of most of the characters he played is their goofiness.

Tim is a comedy legend. This epic scene is just a reminder of his amazing acting.
