This is one of the most memorable scenes from the holiday classic “White Christmas”

Do you remember White Christmas? It is a holiday musical from 1954 which centers around a group of entertainers who want to spread the Christmas spirit and the magic of the holiday in Vermont inn during the World War II.

Over the course of the years, this movie became a classic that many return to each and every Christmas. It produced some iconic songs such as The Best Things Happen While You’re Dancing and What Can You Do With a General?

The cast consisted of some of the greatest names of that time, Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen, and Dean Jagger. Another song that was widely introduced through the movie is that of the same name as the title, White Christmas.

YouTube

This tune and the lyrics, written by Irving Berlin some years before it was performed in the musical film Holiday Inn released in 1942, speak of an old-fashion Christmas setting. So, unlike the popular opinion, the iconic song wasn’t written for the movie White Christmas. In fact, Berlin won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for its rendition for Holiday Inn.

Performed by Bing Crosby, the song became the world’s best-selling single of all time.

One of the most memorable scenes from the movie, besides the one in which Crosby belts out White Christmas, is the one in which veterans of the 151st Division are invited to Vermont on Christmas Eve to greet their general. Listening to them singing Old Man still gives goosebumps to many.

Couple converts old truck into a mobile home and it looks way better than most apartments

Who says that your dream home should cost an arm and a leg? Apparently, all you need in order to have the perfect place for living is an adventurous spirit and a desire to commit yourself to making it the world’s coziest place.

Martin and Iona are a couple that enjoys being on the road. The two have jobs that require from them to be outdoors so they came up with the most brilliant idea. Actually, they first though of purchasing a ‘traveling house’ one night after having a few beers, and it appeared the idea stick with them even after the hangover, so they put their mind into buying “a big American RV” they would turn into their new home.

They were lucky to stumble upon exactly what they were looking for, so they ended up purchasing the truck from eBay for approximately $4,670. What was once used for bread delivery was about to become a comfortable place that wowed everyone who got to see it.

Martin did most of the labouring and Iona took care of the interior design. This stylish home took 4 months to be completely renovated and it’s indeed something special. Now, they are enjoying their beautiful house on wheels and mountain views in France.

Meet Iona Stewart and Martin Hill – a couple from Nottingham who are both keen snowboarders.

Recently, the travelling couple decided to buy an old Hovis delivery truck they could use both for travelling and living.

They bought it on Ebay for a mere £3,600 (approximately $4,670).

The renovation cost them £20,000 (about $25,900).

This is what the renewed truck looks like. Martin and Iona plan on living in it and saving money on accommodation while traveling through Europe.

Although from the outside, it doesn’t look anything special…

…the inside of the truck has been transformed into a cozy and comfortable home.

The house is fully furnished and has everything you might need.

While Martin did most of the labouring, Iona designed the interior of the truck.

“About four years ago after a few too many beers I thought about buying a big American RV” – Martin said.

“We bought the lorry in May this year. We spent four months working on it full-time.”

“We are really lucky to not have to work and we did everything ourselves.”

“It’s amazing what you can do. We are not exactly slumming it”

The couple even designed the place on two different levels

Looking at the bedroom, it is furnished with a double bed and stylish furniture.

The storage space has been carefully planned so that the two young travelers can fit all their belongings there.

This is the shower room of the truck, where the couple are now living.

The space inside the truck is separated by doors to make it cozy and practical.

The couple’s home is full of little stylish and artistic details.

Iona and Martin are currently in France, enjoying the views of the mountains.

They have no plans to return to the United Kingdom just yet, and intend to continue travelling.

What do you think of this couple’s place? Would you consider living here?

Scottish toddler steals the show at a wedding ceremony with his cute dancing

Weddings are those special days when all the family and friends celebrate the love between two people who vow to commit to one another forever. From what’s been said, it’s obvious that the bride and the groom are the stars of their wedding, but it looks like that’s not always the case.

Just take a look at the video below. It was taken some 11 years ago, so the little guy named Ryan who stole the show at a Glasgow wedding is a teenager already, but this video of him is so cute that people can’t help but watch it over and over again.

Namely, Ryan is wearing a traditional Scottish clothing, a kilt, and looks incredibly cute. Once the music starts, this sweetie can’t help but move to the rhythm. Assuming he’s around 2 years old in the video, dancing using only his little arms and legs is more than enough for us to see he’s a true talent. As he notices the guests are watching him and smiling, he decides to move his body as well, though just occasionally.

Up until this day, the video of Ryan has been seen over 2.5 million times and once you check it out, you’ll see why.

Parents show the upside of having kids with Down Syndrome by sharing incredibly beautiful photos of their twins

Being different means being unique, and parents Julie and Dan McConnel know how to accept and cherish uniqueness in a way that steals hearts around the world. When they learned they were going to be a mom and a dad again, they were over the moon. Holding their bundle of joy in their hands was something they were eagerly looking forward to. But God is great, and he gave these two amazing people two reasons to love life; they were about to welcome twin boys.

What’s most, he gave them two sweet little angels with an extra chromosome. This made their sons Milo and Charlie truly exceptional, because fraternal twins with Down syndrome are said to be 1-in-14 million cases.

Having kids with this condition could be challenging, and Julie and Dan were aware of that so they pondered over the thought of giving them up for adoption especially because they already had four children. But now, seeing the sweet boys grow, they are glad they decided to take the journey which now resembles the sweetest and most colorful adventure. Their boys are loved not only by their family, but people from all around the country, as they are true internet sensation.

These parents were perfectly aware of all the stigmas attached to people with Down Syndrome. However, the reality is that these people only share similar facial features, but their character and personality are completely different. And Charlie and Milo’s mom and dad were determined to show that to the world. How they do it? Using social media. And they do it amazingly.

“My hope is to attract families that are receiving a diagnosis of Down syndrome for their child because that can be really scary. I hope that people will find us, and see that this is what life can be like,” Julie told WTSP 10 News.

“It can be fun, it’s full of love, it’s not scary. We have no regrets, and there is so much joy in our lives, and I hope that people will see that.”

The McConnels are doing their best to educate other parents of children with Down’s of all the challenges that may come along the way and how to cope with them in the best way possible.

“It takes them a little longer to meet milestones, but when they meet goals we celebrate like no other parents alive,” she said. “We throw a party and we’re so excited for them when they accomplish those things.”

“It’s big to show everyone else that we are here, and there are all these kids in our community, and we hope that they will see us and remember us and that things will continue to change in our communities with lots of acceptance,” Dan said.

“We’re standing on the shoulders of other parents that have paved the way for all these things to happen and it’s an exciting time to have a child with Down syndrome,” Julie added. “I want to see them grow up and do whatever they want to do.”

We do hope these amazing parents would succeed in their attention to raise awareness about the children with Down’s, so people would finally understand they are no different than any other kid in the way they bring joy to their families.

So forget about the stares, and don’t ever say sorry to a parent when you learn they have a kid with this syndrome, because honestly, there is nothing to be sorry about.

These parents’ story may convince other parents to-be who are considering giving their babies with Down’s for adoption to change their mind.

Arizona woman who collects Christmas trees has 106 displayed inside her home

When the holidays are just around the corner and our hearts and homes are filled with joy, we can’t help but spread the magic by decorating our yards and houses with lights, a bunch of Christmas decorations and a Christmas tree.

For most of us, one tree is just enough, but there are people like this Arizona woman named Jerri Fleck who go a step further and take things to a whole different level. Believe it or not, she has 106 Christmas trees and decorates each and every one of them.

As you are guessing already, there’s no empty space in her home during the holidays and no matter where you turn, you are likely to see one of her lovely trees.

YouTube

If you need a day or two to put the ornaments on your Christmas tree, Fleck spends a couple of weeks decorating. It may seem like a lot of time and effort to some, but she truly enjoys doing that each and every year.

Some of her trees are decorated with vintage cars and stay inside the house all year round, with Fleck adding some Easter elements during that holiday. Some of her ornaments date back to 1906. And as some may say she’s definitely exaggerating, I’d say her place looks lovely and matches the joy and the excitement she feels for the holidays.

Take a look at Fleck’s story in the video below.

Husband finds out he’s having triplets – His reaction melted millions of hearts

The news of becoming a parent is by far one of the best one can ever get. Just imagine the joy of being called a mom or a dad by someone little who believes you are the best person there is.

A mom of two is sharing with her husband that she’s expecting again. But what is different this time is that she’s carrying triplets, so that will make her and her husband parents of five. She decides to surprise him at work with the ultrasound and is secretly filming his reaction. All the people who have seen the video and commented on it agree that the way this dad reacts to this incredible news is more than enough to earn him the “father of the year” award.

At first, he’s totally confused and doesn’t figure out immediately that they are having three babies, but once he becomes aware of what is going on, he just can’t hide his excitement. His wife is somewhat concerned that their family will become that much bigger, but he assures her that welcoming triplets is the best thing in the world.

YouTube

All he wants to know is whether the babies are all healthy and fine.

“His reaction is so comforting to me. And I’m not even the one pregnant, nor am I female,” one person wrote. “Did not hesitate to put her and the kids 1st, did not think of one negative and was more concerned of her shock….. That’s a man!” another person added.

The rest of the comments are somewhat similar. “That right there is a DAD. Not just a father. A dad. All he wanted was to make sure everyone was healthy, and then priority #2 was a bigger house. I’m sobbing like an infant I can’t even handle this.” “If my future husband doesn’t react like this to my pregnancy I’m going to abort the husband.”

Words of praise come from people from all over the world and the video has been seen almost 10 million times. Make sure you check it out below.

Ventriloquist Terry Fator and his puppet Tompkins belt out Elvis’ “Blue Christmas” and they sound incredible

If you possess a unique talent, I guess America’s Got Talent is the best show to go for. The stage of this show has seen it all. From singers and dancers, to acrobats and comedians, you name it. What is interesting is that AGT has always embraced ventriloquists with arms wide open. In fact, the show remembers three winners with this incredible talent, one of them, or the first ventriloquist to have ever won this show, is Terry Fator.

He said that before he auditioned, he was certain he would never really make a career in the showbiz and all he ever hoped for was to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman, just like one of the contestants from the previous season.

Well, as we all know it, he got a lot more than he expected. In fact, after winning the show, Faton had to turn Letterman down 14 times before he found the time to be his guest. “My schedule got so packed, and it broke my heart every time I had to turn him down,” Fator told The Joplin Globe.

After many years, Fator got back to the stage where it all started and stole the hearts of millions of people once again together with his puppet Maynard Tompkins who is an Elvis Presley impersonator. Fator performed Blue Christmas through Tompkins and showed his incredible singing skills.

This is so worth watching and sharing with your friends. Take a look at it in the video below.

“Secret Santa” gives $100 bill to a desperate man he meets by chance and changes his life forever

Doing good never gets out of style. And no matter how tiny a kind deed may seem to us, it can change the world to those receiving it. Now, if you don’t believe in kindness and the magic of Christmas, just take a look at this incredible story, and you’ll think otherwise.

Steve Hartman from CBS witnessed a miracle taking place right in front of his eyes when he went “On the Road” to Reading, Pennsylvania together with the “Secret Santa” who is making a difference each and every Christmas. This secret good-doer is a rich businessman who gives $100 to random people, thus spending around $100,000 overall.

When in Pennsylvania, “Secret Santa” handed money to a man named Thomas Coates, a 30-year-old drug addict who was hoping for a miracle, and got one.

YouTube

Namely, Coates struggled with his addiction for a long period of time. He was so desperate to get himself some heroin that he even sold his son’s toys. So, one night, his girlfriend asked him to start praying and seek help and comfort in God. The next day, he got the money from this kind businessman. This all made Coates very emotional. He was off work for a year getting in and out of treatment facilities, but this serendipitous encounter with “Secret Santa” made him determined to get himself clean for life.

Honestly, we hope Coates will manage to turn his life upside down, because as everyone else out there, he deserves a second chance and a clean start too.

Take a look at the inspiring story in the video below and share the Christmas magic with your family and friends.

Kurt Russell playing Santa Claus in “The Christmas Chronicles 2” feels so iconic that he wants it to be his last role

The Christmas Chronicles 2 is here and we love it, love it, love it! It was released this month and it depicts an incredible holiday adventure. Critics say it’s one of those movies we’ve all been looking forward to, with Jennifer Green from Common Sense Media writing, “The Christmas Chronicles 2” is a holiday blend of action, adventure, comedy, and some drama packed into one gift-wrapped package.

Why we love this sequel even more is because the legendary roles of Santa Claus and Mrs. Clause are reprised by one of our most favorite Hollywood couples, Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn.

In fact, viewers say Russel gets the title of the best ever TV Santa, and we can’t help but agree. People loved him so much in this Christmas movie that the star is even thinking of retiring after it.

The movie’s director, Chris Columbus, told Yahoo Entertainment of Russel’s plans. “He said to me, ‘I want to walk into the sunset, this being the last role I play.’ He wants to continue doing it. Deep down into his soul, he’s committed to this role. That means eight weeks growing the beard with little additional flourishes, working with the script every night before he shoots with me.”

“It’s an intense commitment. And he takes it very seriously,” the Home Alone and Harry Potter director added.

Over the course of their decades long careers, this powerful couple has starred in five movies together. In fact, it was on the set of The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band in 1966 that they met for the very first time. Their relationship didn’t start right off, but the two only started seeing each other years later. Of course, their off-screen chemistry that lasts for over 30 years only helped turn The Christmas Chronicles 2 even better than everyone expected.

Russel was extremely committed to the role, although it wasn’t one which he would typically play. He grew beard and helped write around 200 pages of a backstory for his character, according to Insider.

Speaking of Russel and Hawn’s relationship both on the set and out of it, Columbus told People, “There’s a tremendous amount of respect there and a tremendous amount of love and trust, partially because they’ve been together for so long. They just get along beautifully.”

Russel says how this movie and the role of Santa Claus, the most loved character among children from all over the world, is one of his dearest. He got to be that chubby man with white beard who makes every wish come true and brings a little bit of magic in the lives of millions, and that has to feel special.

“This movie for me is like a love letter to my dad. He was our Santa Claus. We never knew if he was Santa Claus or if he was just really close to Santa Claus. We didn’t know if he was just our dad being Santa Claus because secretly it was always shrouded in mystery. Wonderful, wonderful mystery. He was just fantastic,” the actor told Global News.

Russel’s commitment to this movie could also be seen from the lines he wrote himself, like the one Hawn utters when one of the characters says he’s never forget her, “Oh, you will from time to time, and that’s how it should be.”

Make sure you watch this incredible movie if you still haven’t.

“We’re in this together” – Nearly 400 students sing and dance at graduation ceremony

For most people, the college years are the best and most memorable years of their life. They represent the time of our youth and a period in which we make friends for life. The end of that incredible life journey culminates with a graduation ceremony, when we see some of the people we shared a classroom with for the last time in our life.

One may say that these ceremonies are somehow dull, because students’ names are called out and excited family members are there to applaud, but with the coronavirus pandemic that affected the entire world, we understand that we shouldn’t ever take things for granted, not even the graduation ceremonies, which this year’s students won’t be able to attend.

The ceremony from the video below took place last year and it is probably the best you have ever seen. Around 400 students danced in perfect harmony to the delight of everyone witnessing their performance.

These students at Holy Trinity College of General Santos City Senior High School in South Cotabato, Philippines will definitely make your day.

Apparently, the choreography was done by one of the teachers, Jeatrin Oro, and the students learned it in just two weeks time, pretty impressive I’d say.

The song they danced to is We’re in This Together from High School Musical. They also sang A Million Dreams from the 2018 movie The Greatest Showman.

Dressed in green capes, they stole the hearts of millions of people who stumbled upon the video. In fact, it was shared by one of the students, Ric Sherwin Versoza, who said, “We enjoyed it a lot but also at the same time, [it was] sad for it is also our last dance… And the last time we’ll be seeing each other.”

Some of the comments by the viewers were: “Y’all I went to the W R O N G school,” and “That…was the most impressive thing I HAVE EVER SEEN DONE AT GRADUATION.”

The story behind the cancellation of the iconic TV series “Bonanza”

When a series is on for a longer period of time, fans feel like the characters they see on TV every day become someone they know personally. So, when such a show is over, we feel sorry and as though we were forced to say that final goodbye without ever wanting to.

Bonanza aired for 13 and a half years and is still considered one of the best TV shows ever made. People not only from the States but from the whole world were eagerly waiting for each episode to air. The Cartwrights, father Ben and his three sons, Little Joe, Adam and Hoss, were our everyday heroes who faced many difficulties as they ran their large Ponderosa ranch while always helping their neighbors.

YouTube

The show was extremely popular, so when it was canceled after 14 seasons, both the cast and the millions of fans were left in shock.

The actors who helped shape the show in what it was and what it represented, Dan Blocker, Michael Landon, Lorne Greene, Pernell Roberts, David Canary, Bill Clark and Mitch Vogel among the rest, were all huge stars. While Robers left the show in 1965, calling it a “Junk TV” and later regretting his words, the rest of the characters remained with the show until its very end.

YouTube

The sudden death of actor Dan Blocker seemed to be one of the main reasons why producers and directors decided it was enough. The loss of Blocker was a shock for his fellow friends. They found it hard to return to filming knowing their Hoss was no longer there.

“After Dan’s death, I didn’t see how the show could continue,” Lorne Greene told TV Guide following Dan Blocker’s passing. “I said to my wife, ‘That’s it. It’s finished.’ I know Michael Landon felt the same way.”

YouTube

Landon had a hard time accepting that Blocker was forever gone.

“The first day we went back to work was just incredible, it was so bad,” he said.

“Everybody was just trying to force good humor, because here we were, back in the same place again. Fortunately, we stayed out of the dining room that day. We’ve had so many laughs in that dining room over the last 13 years, and that’s where Dan and Lorne and I did most of our horsing around.”

Wikipedia Commons

The final season was very emotional because Hoss was no longer there.

When the news that Bonanza was canceled spread around, LA Times reporter Gregg Kilday wrote:

Last Monday morning, a stranger rode into town. A man out of the East in the hire of the National Broadcasting Co. It was his job to inform the cast and crew of “Bonanza” that their series had been canceled in midyearAfter 13 1/2 years of riding the high country of the Ponderosa, the Cartwright family had finally been gunned down.”

It was a businesslike farewell as the actors and crew went through the familiar motions of piecing together yet another conflict in the troubled history of “Bonanza’s” Virginia City.”

Speaking of the end of the series that marked an era, Lorne Green said, “If we had known this was coming we would have gone out with a bang and not a whimper.”

One thing is certain, Bonanza, the longest running series with 431 episodes, was and still is loved and watched by many.

Neil Diamond pays tribute to the loved ones who are no longer with us on Christmas and it tugs at our heartstrings

Christmas truly is the most beautiful period of the year. For some people, it’s the only time they get to spend with their family and friends. And as much as it sparks joy and happiness, it also brings a sense of nostalgia and sadness for those we lost.

One of the best musicians ever, spectacular Neil Diamond, wrote a touching song about those whose presence we miss dearly during the holidays. It is a very special tribute which millions of people fell for.

The lyrics of the song Christmas Prayers, which was part of his album Acoustic Christmas, speak that the greatest gift there is are our loved ones and how those who left this world are always in our Christmas prayers and looking down on us smiling.

“The loved ones far and near
Will be forever there
It’s Christmas up in Heaven too
With love beyond compare.”

YouTube

The moment the music starts, we see old photos in the background, showing the good old times, when the whole family was complete and shared the holiday joy.

This song tugs at the heartstrings and has the power to overcome everyone with emotions.

“Thank you Neil. Heard this song when I needed it the most,” one person wrote. If you haven’t heard it already, press play and enjoy. This truly is one of the best Christmas songs I have ever heard.

Family gives their newly adopted daughter the best Christmas surprise

One family did the most amazing thing for the daughter they recently adopted and reminded each of us what the holidays are really all about, and that’s making those around us happy.

The daddy shared the video of the awesome surprise with the world, but he could never imagine that it will go viral and that millions of people would witness this incredible Christmas story.

YouTube

Like every other year, the family got everything ready for the most wonderful time of the year. There was a huge tree decorated with lovely ornaments and ribbons placed in the room, stockings hanging over the fireplace, and some perfectly wrapped gifts for each family member.

However, the gift for the daughter the family welcomed into their home just recently was a bit different than that of the rest. It was huge, actually, and it was a real mystery what it could be. None of the kids had any idea what was inside and they were all eagerly waiting to unwrap it.

YouTube

The kids started tearing the bow and the paper as they figured out the present wasn’t only huge, but also heavy. At that moment they didn’t really know whether they should tug, pull, or continue unwrapping it.

That’s when the daddy stepped in and simply lift the box up into the air and now everyone could see not what, but who was hiding underneath.

The girl started screaming in excitement. It was indeed a heartwarming moment when she saw her foster sister. It turned out that when the family went to take their daughter from the foster home, there was another girl living there. The girls shared a foster family and grew fond of each other.

The new family knew how much their daughter missed her foster sister that they decided to reunite them. And as everyone was super excited for the encounter they still didn’t know that the best was yet to come.

The family actually adopted this other girl too. That meant the girls were now real sisters.

Dad shares 10-year-old daughter’s lavish Christmas list and people are laughing at her bravery

Most kids can’t wait for Christmas to come because they know it’s the time of the year when they get the presents they love so much. Parents on the other hand are eager to see what their little ones want Santa to bring them, and they hope it’s not something they can’t afford.

The best part of the Christmas’ lists, however, are the fantasy wishes of some of the kids. Who knows, maybe in their tiny worlds unicorns do exist, so asking for one comes as something normal.

One dad shared his 10-year-old daughter’s lavish Christmas list and it had the world in stitches. Well, at least sweet Drew thinks her daddy is the richest man out there.

He first shared it on Twitter, writing: “My 10-year-old daughter must be out of her mind with this Christmas list.”

Once people read it, they found it so cool and bold that it was soon shared thousands of times.

He then took to Instagram and posted the list with the following caption:

“My soon to be 10 year old daughter clearly has a false sense of funds that we have with this Christmas list. But kudos to her for her expensive taste 😂😂 #MoneyBagDrew #IAintGotIt“

Gucci slides and a Channel Purse? Really? Her taste is pretty expensive for such a young girl, don’t you think so?

An iPhone 11
Airpods
A new MacBook air
A real bunny
A HydroFlask
Clothes
Make-up
Pink Pumas
Gucci slides
A Chanel purse
Perfume
Essential oil
An American Girl doll car
New shoes
Earrings/jewelry
Some checkered Vans
A Go Pro
Pink Duct tape
Blue food coloring and laundry detergent
Clothes for the bunny
4,000 dollars
An L.o.l doll camper
L.o.l dolls/Big sister
An L.o.l doll chalet
New sheets and cover
An alarm clock

Drew’s handwriting is as cute as her fantasy and everyone loves it. Misspelling “Chanel purs” doesn’t mean she won’t get one when she gets old enough to spend her own money on designer clothes.

However, there are still things on the list that are reasonable and Drew is definitely getting some of them.

“Yes, sure, she will get some or more of the more reasonable things,” her father told TIME.

People who stumbled upon his post couldn’t help but comment on it.

As though the stuff listed isn’t ‘too much’ to ask for, Drew would also love some cash. According to what she has written down, $4,000 would be fine.

But people got creative and assured dad that the money thing is definitely a yes, yes as he could give her Jamaican Dollars instead.

After Drew’s lavish Christmas list vent viral, moms and dads shared their kids’ lists, and it’s so sweet to witness such young souls still having no idea how things work and how expensive their wishes might be.

As for Drew, we hope she won’t get disappointed after she won’t see her presents down the tree.  At least she’s getting some of them as some companies decided to send her gifts after they have seen her list.

“Dicks and Hydro Flask have offered to send her an item off of the list,” her dad said.

We wish Drew and her family the best time ever during the holidays, because that’s what Christmas is all about and that’s what really matters.

Veteran uses his custom made wheelchair to plow snow off the sidewalks

Veteran Justin Anderson is not your ordinary neighbor. This man is one of the most selfless and most caring people you will ever meet. Despite the personal tragedies he had gone through, he still found a way to show his kindness to those who were there for him during his hardest of times.

Namely, Anderson served in Iraq where he lost his legs. His neighbors were there for him to help him overcome the pain and put his past behind. Today, he is moving around using a wheelchair which also serves as a snowplow. He custom-built it with a snow blade and inserted off-road-friendly wheels.

When snowstorms hit and everything is covered in snow, Anderson spends hours plowing it off the sidewalks thus making it easier for people to walk. He wants to keep the members of his community safe and all the people living nearby appreciate everything Anderson does for them.

4 boys bring knee-slapping humor to gospel quartet

We can never have enough of the Christmas carols that cheer us while we wait in anticipation for the holiday to knock on our doors and fill our houses with warmth. And while there are countless performances praising the Lord, none can bring so much laughter as the one of this quartet of boys singing in church.

They are all dressed up, ready to lift the Christmas spirit to the highest level and remind everyone present what the holiday is really all about, and that’s God, love, and having a bit of fun along the way.

The gospel they are about to sing is nothing like anything you’ve seen and a bit different from what the church congregation believes it should be. But it’s definitely unique and hard to forget.

The moment they let ‘their voices,’ the people understand it would be a once-in-a-lifetime performance and are eager to hear more.

They all do their best to make the performance more enjoyable, but as soon as the boy with the vest takes the spotlight, the atmosphere heats up and the real show begins. At this point no one can’t hold back their laughter.

They brought into the church a whole new mood and the people in the background lined up as ornaments on a Christmas tree only add to the overall experience.

These boys definitely know how to cheer their audience. The video of what people consider to be absolutely amazing has been seen more than six million times. The ‘comedic’ performance got the appraisal of many. One person says, “I am sure that Jesus and all of heaven was laughing when these guys performed,” and another person adds, “I really needed this laugh! Well done. God Bless these young men!”

What a wonderful show to put on stage; a clean humor that will definitely make your day.

Are you ready for some good laugh? If yes, just see the amazing gospel quartet in the video below.

Alex and Nicky, the cute twins from “Full House,” are 30 and very successful at what they do

When we go back to the iconic show Full House, we can’t help by think of the twins who made full careers out of it, the Olsen sisters. However, there was another set of twins who made the series what it turned out to be, one of the best and much-loved shows on TV ever. Those twins are brothers Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit and Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit who played the roles of Nicky and Alex, the sons of Uncle Jesse (John Stamous) and Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin).

Youtube/kitankate

Full House won a number of awards, including four straight ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards and four consecutive BMI Film & TV Awards. It ran for eight seasons and gained more and more popularity with each re-run. People enjoyed this show so much that back in 2016, Netflix created a sequel, Fuller House, which to the delight of the audiences from all over the world reunited most of the cast.

Dylan and Blake were just two years old when they were cast for the show. They were part of it until it ended in 1995 and neither of them continued their career on film. However, when they returned for Fuller House, fans loved how the little twins grew into very handsome men who are now extremely successful at what they do, with Dylan winning three Emmy Awards for his post-production work for Game of Thrones and Black Sails. He’s also worked for Death NoteJack Ryan, and Castle Rock.

The twins were said to love being on set when they were still just toddlers. However, due to child labor laws, they were not allowed to film long hours so according to them, they would only spend a couple of hours filming each day. But that, however, was more than enough for the fans and the cast to fall for them.

Speaking about Nicky and Alex at the time, Lori Loughlin told ET, “They’re definitely very independent. They do what they want to do, if you asked them to say a line or do something and they don’t want to, they won’t say their line.”

The twins were way too young to know the impact Full House had on people back then. But once they grew older and told people who they were, they realized the popularity of the show as there was not a single person who wasn’t addicted to the classic sitcom.

“I’ve even had people sending me fan mail when I was a teenager saying like ’this show saved my life, I’ve had this really crappy situation’,” Blake said in an interview. “That the full house family became their family and I thought ‘wow’. It’s a very wholesome show and I didn’t know it impacted people the way it did. It feels very rewarding to me to have been part of that, I’m very proud of it.”

Both twins are in the “family business” of audio engineering today. In fact, they followed into their dad’s footsteps and are very successful at what they do. Dylan started working along his dad Jeffrey right away, while Blake first worked as a firefighter for four years. He loved all about his job, except it prevented him to be close to his family, so he quit and moved back to California.

“Music and Sound Effects are such a vital part of creating these other worlds and experiences for people, and I am proud and excited to be a part of that,” Dylan told Trainwreck’d Society.

“When people come up to me excited, saying ‘oh my god that episode was amazing! How did you make that scene sound so real?! I almost puked when that guy’s head exploded!’ Making people FEEL through sound… those are the rewarding moments of my job.”

In Fuller House, the twins appeared in just two episodes and played food truck owners selling fish tacos and sleeping in their truck, to the delight of their on-screen father Jesse.

According to their Instagram accounts, the family suffered a tragedy in October of this year when their mother passed away at the age of 59.

We are glad these handsome twins are doing great and we wish them even more success in the years to come.

Local people step in for a homeless man who was left without his Christmas tree

Christmas time represents those days of the year when even the elderly who have seen it all during their lifetime and know how hard things can get at times believe in some magic.

No matter if one is young or old, rich or poor, jolly by nature or not, everyone deserves to have cheerful holidays. And what would holidays be without the symbol, the Christmas tree?

One homeless man named John, who resides in a tent underneath New Orleans’ Pontchartrain Expressway, was getting ready for the most wonderful time of the year and did all he could to decorate a Christmas tree. Sadly, placing the tree in front of his tent was against the state’s sanitation codes, so the city just picked it up.

He was left heartbroken, but then his story spread around and people stepped in to give him a a bunch of trees and the Christmas he deserves. Many passersby joined in in decorating another tree.

John, on the other hand, showed his kindness as well. He gave his spare trees to other people in need who couldn’t afford one. In return, those people filled his stocking with notes of sweet words written on them.

John and the rest of homeless people join in together and sing Christmas carols, and we think that’s very sweet because Christmas is all about being together and sharing the joy the holidays bring.

We hope John will celebrate his next Christmas in a new home.

Footage shows the moment heroic teen saves 6-year-old from wild dog

Providing your dog with food and taking them out for a walk every now and then isn’t all what owners are expected to do. Dogs need to be trained as well. They have to be taught how to act around other animals and humans and to know they should never attack anyone.

Unfortunately, one of the neighbors of 6-year-old Mason Lindman never took the time to teach his dog these things and that resulted in this boy to be viciously attacked one day while he was out playing.

Mason tried to prevent an incident from taking place by reaching his hands towards the dog in a peaceful manner, but that wasn’t enough for the animal to calm down.

No one really knows what triggered such violent behavior at the dog. The rest of the kids got scared and ran away leaving Mason all by himself.

Sadly, Mason got bitten and was screaming in panic and pain and couldn’t protect himself.

“My son, he was just laying on the ground, I mean he’s six. Like he… He kind of knows what to do but… He’s never been put in a situation like that,” said Mason’s mother, Jillian Lindman.

Luckily, one very brave teen named Grant Brown found himself in the right place, at the right time and didn’t hesitate even a bit before rushing to help Mason.

Seeing Grant running towards them with high speed, the dog left Mason’s side and started chasing Grant. Mason could now get home, but Grant found himself in trouble. The dog was furious and ready to attack.

Eventually, the dog reached Grant who fell on the grass and tried to bite him. Grant got injured, but managed to escape.

Both Mason and Grant ended up at the hospital, but they will be just fine. Mason ended up with staples for his wound he sustained on the back of his head, while Grant had a deep cut on the hand.

“I looked back and my shoes came off, I tripped and fell, the dog was on top of me before I know it… And I knew that I had to keep his mouth away from me,” said Grant Brown speaking of the incident.

What Grant did for the little boy is truly heroic. Not everyone would provide help in situation like that where their life is in danger.

“I just want to give the guy a hug. There’s nothing I could do but just say thank you,” Jillian said.

Needless to say, Grant’s mom is proud of her son.

What we should all have in mind, however, is that there are no bad dogs, just bad owners who don’t spend enough time training their canines. This neighbor was fined for his dog’s action.

As for Grant, we should all learn from him and always be there for our neighbors.

Teacher tapes 7-year-old boy’s mouth shut during lesson time – He is now afraid to go back to school again

7-year-old boy’s mouth was taped shut by his teacher for talking during lesson time. The boy suffered from respiratory problems and asthma and was left traumatized by the event to the extent that he refuses to go to school again. According to The Sun, he has already missed two weeks of lessons as well as the Christmas concert at Colwill School in West Auckland, New Zealand, he attends.

The boy’s mom was left horrified after her daughter, who goes at the same school, told her what happened. The boy only confessed what the teacher did after the parents asked him whether the incident really took place or not. The poor boy was afraid to speak to his mom and dad because he thought he would be in trouble.

In fact, the teacher put plastic labels on the mouth of a group of boys. However, after the mother brought up the issue, the school principal, Rob Taylor, wrote her a letter saying the rest of the kids enjoyed having their mouths taped.

Stuff obtained the principal’s letter which said: “Even though you chose not to follow the school’s complaint process, this did not stop me from dealing with this concern as if you had.”

“A careful and thorough investigation was finally able to be completed yesterday with the last of the parents of these children being interviewed. These things do take time, based on the availability of key people needing to be free to meet with us.”

“All children involved and their parents, excluding [student], have now been interviewed appropriately by the school’s Social Worker who informs me that [staff member’s] perspective that this was game [sic] that the children appeared to enjoy and wished to play with her was by all accounts the correct version of this event.”

Neither the boy nor his family was ever offered an apology by the teacher. “I asked my 7-year-old what he thought about all this, and he said: ‘When we do something wrong in class we have to say sorry and that we won’t do it again, why can’t the teacher?’” the mother said.

All the school and the Ministry of Education offered, instead of trying to deal with the issue thoroughly, was counseling for the boy to help him with the trauma he was forced to go through.

The family, of course, wasn’t satisfied with the outcome of the incident and the boy’s mom is trying to take matters in her own hands by standing in front of the school and the building of the Ministry of Education handing flyers to the parents whose kids attend her son’s school.

Further, a representative of the Ministry, Katrina Casey, encouraged the mother to to take up the formal complaints process with the board and to “contact our local office for further advice.”

What do you think of this? How would you react if a teacher taped your kid’s mouth during lesson time?

The six-decade screen career of “Father Knows Best” star Elinor Donahue

During her rich and long career of over six decades, Elinor Donahue played many roles, but it seems like portraying Betty Anderson, the eldest child of Jim and Margaret Anderson on the 1950s American sitcom “Father Knows Best” is what she’s best remembered for. The show lasted for six years and aired on the radio. It was very popular and reached the top ten most watched American shows.

But Elinor didn’t stop at this show. In fact, while filming it, she also took part in “Crossroads” and in the “George Burns and Gracie Allen Show.” She was so busy playing in three shows that she said how she never really had the time to watch them.

“By the time we’d get home at night and have our dinner, we’d be getting ready to learn our lines, go to sleep to get up and do it again. So, I never saw the show,” she told Closer.

Elinor’s career in the film industry seemed a bright one, and her mother even sacrificed her job in order to accompany her then minor daughter on set.

After “Father Knows Best” Elinor took roles in “The Andy Griffith Show”, “Dr Kildare”, “Star Trek” and “Mork & Mindy.” This now 83-year-old iconic actress played different roles in over 70 TV Shows and many movies like Winter Wonderland and Pretty Woman.

When it comes to her private life, Elinor first married at the age of 19. According to her, tying the knot with the first person to propose to her and have a child with them would help her grow up as she felt 13 when she was 19. “I’d never had a chance to grow into a real person so I was not mature at all. I’d had no high school friends…I had this idea if I ran away and got married and had a baby I’d be a grown up.”

She recalls how her first husband, the sound man on “Father Knows Best” Richard Smith, proposed. “We had gone to see a movie and after he whispered in my ear ‘I love you and I’d like to marry you’ and I said ‘Okay,” Elinor said laughing. They had one son together and divorces six years later.

Fabiosa

A year later, Elinor married TV producer Harry Ackerman. They had three sons together and a very happy marriage and life. Then, after being married for almost 30 years, Ackerman died in 1991. The following year, the actress married for the third time in her life and is still together with her current husband Lou Genevrino.

Watch Elinor speak of her marriage and children in the video below.

Woman lets horses out to play in the snow, but the elegant creatures have other plans

Not everyone enjoys playing in the snow, especially if the temperatures are way below the zero and it’s freezing outside.

One woman though it would be great if her two horses get out of the barn and into the snow. She was certain they would have lots of fun running around and she even put some warm coats on them.

At first, the horses were eager to get outside and enjoy the weather, but just a couple of seconds later they changed their minds. Was it too cold for them to handle? We guess so.

Take a look at the hilarious moment these stunningly elegant animals realize running in the snow wasn’t really the best idea.

80-year-old veteran makes wooden toys for children in need every Christmas for the last 50 years

One doesn’t need to be rich in order to make a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate or in need of help and some love. On the contrary, all one needs in order to impact others is to have a heart of gold.

So, what’s a better time for spreading kindness and positivity if not the most beautiful period of the year, Christmas time?

Jim Annis of Sanford, North Carolina is the real life Santa for a great number of kids. This 80-year-old man has been making toys for children for over 50 years and his age won’t stand on his way of putting smiles on so many tiny faces.

His creations are unique as he puts a lot of love in handcrafting each and every one of them.

Believe it or not, Jim sends over 300 toys a year to his local Salvation Army. This incredible man, who is also a veteran, says, “When the Salvation Army gives out the food and clothes to people in this area, I give out my toys. It feels like you’re sort of forgotten about at Christmas time.”

He makes the toys from wooden scraps he collects from his neighbors and spends about $1,000 himself on the wheels and the paint.

“My dad worked but didn’t make a lot of money. It’s hard to have a big Christmas with five kids. I love it when people ask me how much do I get paid for making these toys. I tell them my pay is when I see the smile on kids’ faces. I hope to be able to do this until my toes curl up,” Jim says.

We need more people like this man in the world, who remind us what Christmas is all about, and that’s love and sharing.

Take a look at the video below to learn more of Jim’s project.

Dawn Wells speaks of the relationship between the cast of “Gilligan’s Island”

The old but gold TV shows not only remind us of what life was like back in the day, but also bring a feeling of nostalgia for the good old times.

Among the shows that marked the ’60s was definitely the CBS sitcom Gilligan’s Island. Created and produced by Sherwood Schwartz, the show followed the adventures of seven castaways who tried to survive on an island on which they had been shipwrecked. It ran for three seasons and people loved it.

As most of the cast members were already famous names when the show aired, one in particular was looking for a breakthrough in the film industry and found it with this show. It was beautiful Dawn Wells who played the role of Mary Ann Summers, a character perceived by the fans as the girl next door.

In fact, Wells’ role was supposed to be a minor one, but people loved her so much that she became one of the most beloved actresses on the show.

Wells got into acting while at college in the small town of Columbia, Missouri, when she first discovered the drama division and was part of a couple of plays. After university, she headed to the Mecca of film, Hollywood. As any other new actor, this beautiful and talented young lady who won several beauty pageants, including Miss Nevada, Wells started with small roles.

“I went to work right away,” she recalled. “I was trained, I studied for it, but I was lucky. There was a lot of stuff being filmed and quite a bit going on in the 60s in television. I probably had two or three auditions a day. I did a couple of movies, but you’d get guest spots on all these TV shows. You’d work right away.”

After making a name for herself with Gillian’s Island, Wells recalled the days that preceded getting that role. “I went in and tested with I don’t know how many girls. There were quite a few. It was the people, we all grew up together. All the ingénues were auditioning, and I got it. But you would go on so many auditions, and you never knew what you were going to get.”

“I had an image in my mind of what she should be, wearing denim and a ponytail,” she continued. “I knew who she should be, and I think when you do stage a lot, you can do that. You lock in what and who the character is. They didn’t give you a description. I don’t even remember how many people auditioned for the role. You would do it for two or three days in a row, and they would either call you back or not.”

The cast members all became really good friends.

Wells spoke of the relationship between them and told Forbes: “Gilligan you don’t think of as a romantic partner. Alan [Hale, the Skipper] was more like a father. But the professor had everything: good looks, a sense of humor, was very intelligent. Bob [Denver] and I were really close friends. So was Alan [Hale]. He could pick up Tina [Louise] in one arm, me in the other at the same time, he was so strong. Ms. Howell and I also became really good friends.”

Fans, however, somehow always chose between the character of Wells and that of co-star Tina Louise who played the glamorous movie star Ginger Grant.

Wells has only married once and her marriage lasted for eight years. “Well, I don’t believe in just living together. I think you either commit to it or you don’t,” she said, referring to her busy life which consisted of being on the road all the time.

The actress was also part of a number of spin-offs of Gilligan’s Island, but turned to the stage instead of focusing on film.

Wells is 82 years old and looks incredible. She is definitely one of those celebrities who defy age. On top of that, she’s still really active and not even the pandemic can stop her from doing what she loves best; acting.
