Following a gasoline fire accident that left him with serious burns and forced him to be hospitalized, the former The Tonight Show host Jay Leno went through another ordeal after being involved in a motorcycle accident last week.
Sadly, he was again taken to the hospital as it has been revealed that he broke two kneecaps and two ribs and fractured his collarbone.
Luckily, Leno isn’t someone who gives up easily so despite the severity of his injuries he shared with his fans that he’s been feeling fine and is back to work. He hopes that he would be able to recover completely in a matter of days.
According to the host himself, he was out exploring his 1940 Indian motorcycle when he smelled gasoline and made a decision to take a detour. “As a result, I directed the bike down a backstreet and crossed an adjacent parking lot.” Further, he told Las Vegas Review-Journal that “someone had unknowingly strung a wire across the parking lot without a flag or any other visible warning signs.”
As her rode right into the wire, Leno was lurched out of his seat and onto the pavement. He told onlookers that he was totally unaware of the wire and it wasn’t his fault and that there was no time for him to act, thus left his motorcycle roll on its own.
As of the gasoline accident he was involved in November 2022, Leno said, “I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am ok. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet,” shortly after it happened.
According to TMZ magazine, Leno was in the garage when one of his cars suddenly burst into flames. He was then taken to a burn center where he remained hospitalized in stable condition.

Actor Lance Kerwin, best known for his roles in the TV drama James at 16, which originally screened on NBC as James at 15, and the Stephen King miniseries Salem’s Lot, died Tuesday, January 24 in San Clemente, California.
The news of Kerwin’s passing has been confirmed by his daughter Savannah Paige, whom he had with ex-wife Kristen Lansdale.

Savannah took to Facebook to announce her father’s death and wrote, “I am so sorry to those we have not been able to reach out to personally to notify but Lance Kerwin passed away yesterday morning.”
She continued her post, “We appreciate all the kind words, memories, and prayers that have been shared. As the coming weeks progress, I will share more information about after life ceremonies. He loved each and every one of you.”
A cause of that hasn’t been provided yet, but what is known is that Kerwin, who was most prolific as a child actor in the 1970s, was found “unconscious.”
Kerwin first appeared on screen when he was 13 in an episode of Emergency!
Being the youngest of five siblings and born to a father who was an acting coach and a mother who worked as a talent agent, it seemed that a career in the world of entertainment was written in the stars for talented Kerwin who turned into a heartthrob adored by many.
Other notable roles he played were those in Little House on the Prairie, Police Story, Gunsmoke, and The Family Holvak.

Kerwin’s acting career ended in the 1990s, with his last role in the 1995 thriller Outbreak, but in 2022, he returned to the film industry for a small role in The Wind & the Reckoning.

Lisa Marie Presley’s life was cut short at the age of 54. The singer-songwriter suffered cardiac arrest on January 12, after she was transferred to the hospital where she was placed in induced coma. Unfortunately, she didn’t make it.
The news of her tragic passing was shared by her mother Priscilla Presley. “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla said in a statement. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
Presley’s three daughter have been left devastated by their mother’s loss.
Riley Keough has broken her silence and shared her heartbreak over her mother’s tragic death through an Instagram post. She also paid tribute to her late mother on the day Presley was laid to rest at Graceland next to her late father, Elvis Presley, and her son Benjamin Keough who died of suicide in 2020.
On the day of Presley’s funeral, her son-in-law, Ben Smith-Peterson, the husband of Presley’s daughter, Riley, shared Riley’s words on her behalf and said, “I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters. Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, my temper, my wildness, my tenacity. I’m a product of your heart, my sisters are a product of your heart, my brother is a product of your heart.”
Now, Riley posted another photo of herself and her mother and wrote it was taken the last time she saw her mom alive.
“I feel blessed to have a photo of the last time I saw my beautiful mama. Grateful @georgieflores took this,” Riley captioned the photo.
Two days prior to her passing, Lisa Marie Presley attended the Golden Globe event together with her mother to support actor Austin Butler who portrayed her father in the biopic Elvis.
Both Lisa Marie and Priscilla were happy with the accuracy of the events depicted in it. They were also very satisfied with Butler’s portrayal, describing it as “truly mind-blowing.” Lisa Marie had nothing but words of praise for the actor.
However, it wasn’t just Elvis’ family who admired Butler’s work. The critics praised him as well and he was nominated for his first-ever Golden Globe.

The actor, best known for Derek Morgan on Criminal Minds, and the lead role of Sergeant II Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson on S.W.A.T., announced that he and girlfriend Jesiree Dizon were expecting a baby. He shared the exciting news earlier this month during an appearance on Jennifer Hudson’s talk show.
“I’m Shemar Moore, 52 and a half years old,” the actor said. My mother is in heaven, right now it’ll be the three-year anniversary on February 8.” He then continued, “And on February 8, I’m going to make one of her dreams come true because, in real life, Shemar Moore is about to be a daddy.”
Moore’s mother passed away on February 8, 2020, after battling multiple sclerosis for the past couple of years of her life.
Hearing the exciting news, Hudson, who had a huge smile on her face, said, “That is news. And your mama gonna be so proud smiling at you from heaven.”
Well, Moore’s bundle of joy arrived earlier than expected. On January 24, Frankie Moore was born, and with her arrival, Moore’s biggest wish ever, to be a father, came true.
He always spoke openly of the desire to have children. “I was worried for a while that maybe that ship had sailed kind of thing, and, you know, God had my back and things lined up. …My life is pretty grand but I know once God does call my name, once I get this experience, I’ll be able to go to heaven whole.”
Moore shared a photo of him holding his daughter. Along with the photo, he wrote, “FRANKIE MOORE!!!! BABY GIRL in da building!!! Born January 24… at 3:38pm…. 7.1 Pounds… 20 inches…. 10 fingers n 10 toes… Already THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!”
The post continued, “I’m a Girl Daddy!!!! HOLY S**T!!! DREAMS COME TRUE!!
“Grandma Marilyn is in heaven puff puff passing, drinking her wine, and doing her happy dance… I LOVE and MISS YOU everyday Mom.”
He ended the post writing, “Frankie is gonna grow up to be a KILLA!!! Watch out World, here comes ‘Frankie Muthaf**kin Moore’!!!!”

When Archie Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6, 2019, Harry and Meghan posed with him in front of the Portland Hospital in London, where he was born, as is the tradition.
“Today The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share their first public moment as a family,” the Sussexes wrote.
Although both Prince Harry and Prince William, as well as many other members of the royal family, including William’s children, were born at St Mary’s Hospital, the Sussexes chose not to give birth to Archie there.
“He and Meghan were thrilled to be safely delivered of their son in London’s private Portland hospital even before the palace press office had confirmed the duchess was in labor.”

They also shared photos of the little one meeting his great-grandma, Queen Elizabeth, for the first time.
Later, as Archie grew a bit, Harry and Meghan took a trip to South Africa where they met Archbishop Desmond Tutu. “Thank you Archbishop Tutu for your incredibly warm hospitality, Archie loved meeting you!” they wrote on Instagram along with a series of photos of their son.
Except for that, they have tried keeping both their children out of the spotlight as much as possible.
However, that changed when the Netflix documentary about Harry and Meghan, consisting of six episodes, aired. In the first episode of the documentary, the Sussexes provided people from all over the world with an intimate look into the family life at their home in Montecito, California which was previously described as “Fort Knox,” and security is tight.
With that said, fans were able to take a closer look at Archie and Lilibet as well.

The children have been living in the States, away from the royal family and they have visited Britain briefly, during one or two occasions, including the event of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee months prior to her passing. The Sussexes threw a birthday party for Lili in Britain.
In his all-tell memoir Spare, Harry spoke of the day he became a father for the first time. Apparently, in order to calm himself down while Meghan was at the delivery room, Harry got high on laughing gas.
“But I saw two ways of enhancing my calm. One: Nando’s chicken (brought by our bodyguards). Two: A canister of laughing gas beside Meg’s bed. I took several slow, penetrating hits,” Harry wrote in his tell-all book.
“Meg was so calm. I was calm too.”
He then added, “Meg, bouncing on a giant purple ball, a proven way of giving nature a push, laughed and rolled her eyes. I took several more hits, and now I was bouncing too.”
The Prince then explained that a nurse tried giving his wife the gas for the pain, but he had already consumed it all.
“I could see the thought slowly dawning. Gracious, the husband’s had it all. ‘Sorry,” I said meekly.’”
In order to ease her pain, Meghan was then given an epidural.
“The anesthetist hurried in. Off went the music, on went the lights. Whoa. Vibe change.”

Some time ago, William and Kate set foot on US soil for the first time since 2014.
The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the Earthshot Prize Awards which William founded in 2020. Earlier this year, however, it became an independent charity and William serves as its president.
“Protecting the environment was a cause close to my grandmother’s heart. And I know she would have been delighted to hear about this event and the support you’re all giving our Earthshot finalists, the next generation of environmental pioneers,” William said in a recorded message after he was forced to cancel the September Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit in New York because of Queen Elizabeth’s passing.

Instead, the trip took place some two months later and what caught everyone’s attention was that the royals didn’t fly to the States privately but used a commercial flight and remained-low key the entire time.
“As soon as people saw them get on you could tell there was a buzz on the airplane,” passenger Jonathan Wood shared with CBS News. “It was a wild experience, but it was great.”
“Surprising … you assume they’d have a private jet,” passenger Jo Atkins told CBS. “[William is] a lot slimmer… can I say that? He’s very slight. She’s beautiful, obviously, as one would expect. I didn’t expect that getting on the plane.”
“Well look, they’re coming for Earthshot. It’s an environmental thing, right, so being on a commercial flight makes sense,” another passenger, Luke Howard, added.

Upon landing, the Prince and Princess of Wales were greeted by Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker and Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito and William thanked the people who were there to welcome them “for their many tributes paid to the late queen,” adding that his late grandmother always spoke of her 1976 visit to Boston “with great fondness.”
Among those who got to greet and meet the royal couple was an 8-year-old boy named Henry Dynov-Teixeira. The sweet boy was dressed as a Buckingham Palace guard and presented them with roses.
“I am going to scream and tell my best friend that I am now famous,” Henry told Mirror UK.
Kate and William also met with the Boston mayor and the US ambassador to Australia, Caroline Kennedy. They attended an NBA game and watched Boston Celtic play. All in all, their time there was fulfilling and fun as it was effective.

However, William keeping his hand on his wife’s might be a sign of inner tensions, the expert claims.
“She has done this PDA before but it has been more of a fleeting gesture but here it is getting validation from William’s reciprocal response. He places his own hand on top of hers and even curls his fingers around her hand to keep it in place,” James said.
“Kate’s smile has been as immaculate as usual in Boston but here she sucks her lips in,” she said.
“This is another sensory trick. Lips have the densest concentration of nerve endings of any part of the body and pressing and sucking them in like this can be a self-comfort ritual under pressure.”

Jack Abbott, the patriarch of the Abbott family, needed to take an unexpected business trip on Young and Restless, but the real reason for Abbott’s sudden exit is the real-life medical issues actor Peter Bergman, who portrays Abbott, experienced.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Peter Bergman shared that he noticed how something affected his vision while visiting family to to California’s central coast. “On the way, there was a funny thing on the inside corner of my left eye,” he recalled. At first, he didn’t pay much attention and didn’t even tell his wife, but as the day went by, he felt worse and worse. “By the end of the night it was like a curtain closing in toward the center of my eyesight.”
In the morning, Bergman sought medical help and together with his wife, Mariellen, they visited an ophthalmologist at San Luis Obispo who diagnosed him with detached retina. Bergman was told he needed to undergo an urgent surgery, so he returned to LA that same day for the procedure.
Luckily, the surgery was successful, but the recovery process was quite a demanding one and lasted for quite some time.
According to the actor, he was forced to keep his face parallel to the floor for “50 minutes out of every hour for seven days.”
He was able to watch television thanks to a special “contraption” Mariellen set up but complained that he couldn’t do two of his favorite activities, reading and exercising. “It seemed like it took forever,” he added.
Bergman’s castmate Mishael Morgan (Amanda) had also underwent the same surgery herself and she provided Bergman help during the recovery process. “I gathered as much information on what to expect from her as I could,” the actor said, adding that Morgan has been outstanding.
Once he got back on the show, Bergman shared with his fans details about the issues he experienced and the surgery he underwent through. The Emmy award winner said that the experience “served as a sobering reminder of the value of sight. Never consider it a given.”

Losing a child is something no parent should ever experience.
Children should outlive their parents, and when that doesn’t happen, entire worlds come crashing down, and all of a sudden, nothing is the same and grief settles in the hearts of the bereaved parents.

Odele was a 25-year-old mother of baby Shiloh, who is now left to be raised without the most important person in her life.
The tragic news was shared by John’s wife, Belinda.
“Heartbroken to have to post our darling Odele’s funeral notice,” she wrote. “Her sister Lucinda and I have been overwhelmed by the messages of support and love we have received, and your remembrances of how cherished Odele was to so many. Odele was greatly loved, and leaves a huge hole in our lives.”
The post continued, “Odele is survived by her sister, Lucinda Ventimiglia, mother, Belinda Cape, father John Ventimiglia, and her beloved daughter Shiloh.”
The family thanked everyone for their condolences and prayers and asked for donations instead of flowers. They started a GoFundMe page to to support baby Shiloh. The amount raised has been $55,000 so far, and suppressed the initial goal of $50,000.
Odele’s older sister, Lucinda, shared her heartbreak over her younger sister’s passing. “Odele Cape Ventimiglia – 4/7/1997 – 1/12/2023 words will never be enough to express the grief we are all feeling. I loved my little sister a lot and I will spend the rest of my life searching for her in everything,” she wrote.
“A funeral for Odele will be held at 12 pm next Thursday, 1/26, at Old First Reformed Church in Park Slope. my family and i are so grateful for all the care and support we have been receiving during this impossible time. it has never been more clear how much she meant to so many people. sending love to everyone who is trying to cope with her loss – look after each other and keep Odele in your thoughts 🤍🤍🤍,” the statement continued.
The cause of death hasn’t been revealed yet.

Being born into royalty means living lavishly, visiting plenty of places, and having plenty of friends, including celebrities.
Take Prince Harry for example. Not only he married a well-known actress, Meghan Markle, who started her career as a briefcase girl on the game show Deal or No Deal back in 2006 and had her big breakthrough with the huge hit series Suits, but he is said to hang out with the likes of David Beckham and Tom Hardy.
When Harry and Meghan tied the knot in 2018, their wedding was broadcast and watched by millions. Among those who attended it were the Suits cast, Oprah Winfrey, George and Amal Clooney, James Corden, Idris Elba, and more.
However, royal experts questioned the attendance of some of the celebs.

According to reports, Harry and Meghan didn’t even know the Clooneys at all.
“There’s a story doing the rounds that while Carolyn Bartholomew, Diana’s former flatmate, was waiting for the wedding service to start, she turned to the couple alongside her and asked how they knew Harry or Meghan,” Johnson wrote in the online publication AirMail.
“‘We don’t,’ the Clooneys answered brightly.”
However, it was later shared that the Sussexes visited George and Amal in Italy, and George even said that the four have had dinner several times in recent years.
Other experts kept wondering how Harry and Meghan knew Oprah at the time, and many believed that they actually didn’t.

Royal expert Andrew Morton – the author of Diana: Her True Story – also questioned the celebrity guest list.
“(She) populated the wedding with A-list Hollywood celebrities who … have proved their worth to her by speaking out in public about the criticisms of her,” Morton said.
“I don’t think she (had) even met Oprah Winfrey (before the wedding). I don’t know whether Harry had. But she invited these people along, and now she has her own court.
“She’s a new player and she’s been quick out (of) the starting box. Unlike Prince Harry’s friends who keep quiet, Megan’s A-list celebrity friends, the court of Meghan, is a very voluble court and they’re very powerful.”

Over the years, Harry have visited many different places, both as part of his royal duties, which he stepped down from shortly after tying the knot, and privately.
Back in 2014, Harry was said to attend the wedding of his and William’s friend Guy Pelly who married American Holiday Inn heiress Lizzy Smith. The ceremony took place at the famous Graceland property which belonged to ‘The King of Rock and Roll,’ Elvis Presley, and later to his daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. Graceland is where both Elvis and Lisa Marie are laid to rest.
However, as much as this unique property is considered legendary by millions, Harry wasn’t quite impressed with the legendary musician’s estate.
Graceland has 23 rooms and measures 17,552 square feet. Today, it’s one of the biggest tourist attractions in the US, attracting around 600,000 people annually, and is reportedly the second most-visited house in the US, behind only the White House.

In his memoir, Spare, Harry described the visit to Graceland as “claustrophobic.”
“Everyone kept saying, ‘Well, well, so this is where The King lived.’ ‘Who?’, ‘The King, Elvis Presley’, ‘Oh, The King. Right,’” Harry said.
“People variously called the house a castle, a mansion, a palace. But it reminded me of the badger sett. Dark, claustrophobic. I walked around saying, ‘The King lived here, you say? Really?’”
“I stood in one tiny room with loud furniture and shag carpet and thought, ‘The King’s interior designer must have been on acid.’”

Harry added: “In honour of Elvis, every member of the bridal party wore blue suede shoes. At the reception, there was much kicking up of those shoes. Young British men and women dancing drunkenly and singing gleefully without pitch or rhythm. It was riotous, ridiculous. And Guy looked happier than I’d ever seen him.”

Knowing that after her passing the cats could end up on the streets, she decided to leave all of her money to them, which was around $300,000.
Ellen also assigned a carer for her animals, a woman named Dahlia Grizzle, who is now looking after the cats as Ellen died recently at the age of 88.
During her life, Ellen suffered many loses. Her husband passed away in 1989 and her only child died when he was still very young, so Ellen found comfort in her cats’ company.
In case Troy and Tiger pass away, the remaining fortune would be handed to Ellen’s sister.
As for now, the cats are living a very comfortable life. They sleep on big beds with sheets of silk and have food prepared specially for them.
This decision shocked many, but this isn’t the first time that someone leaves their fortune to their pets.

“Being a wife and mother is my life, and that gives me the most joy,” Mariska said of her mom speaking to The Closer Weekly. “I understand [my mother] in a new way that gives me peace. Now I understand the love she had in her, and it makes me feel closer to her.”

Mariska has been married to husband Peter Hermann, an actor and producer. The day she met his is still a memorable one.
“He was very handsome, and it was distracting,” she recalled in an interview with Insider. “Then he would come back the other day, and all the producers would look at me and give me eyes. I’d never been like that to anyone ever. It was funny because I was single, I was 35, and my friends were like, ‘Mariska, you need to get out more, nobody’s going to show up on your show and ask you to marry them.’”

As they started dating and time passed by, Mariska suddenly began to have misgivings and she and Peter decided to part ways. It was an extremely difficult moment, and they both cried as they conversed.
Luckily, they were able to work through their differences and decided to spend their lives together.
On her 40th birthday, Peter said of his wife, “I think I got a look at what she is like when she is planted, when she is in the soil she’s designed to be planted in. And I wanted to be that soil. Something like that!”
Mariska and Peter welcomed their first child, August, in June 2006. However, they wanted more children and decided to adopt.
In 2011, they adopted Amaya Josephine after attending her birth.
“I basically pulled Amaya out,” Mariska told Good Housekeeping when the girl turned one year old. “Peter and I held her, and then the birth mother and I hugged for a long time. That was profound. That was one of the most meaningful moments I’ve ever had in my life.”
A few months later, they adopted another child, son Andrew Nicholas.
“Being a wife and mother is my life, and that gives me the most joy,” she told Closer Weekly. “I understand [my mother] in a new way that gives me peace. Now I understand the love she had in her, and it makes me feel closer to her.”

Ever since she became part of the royal family, Kate Middleton has been a much loved person and a fascinating public figure.
She is an exceptional woman who seems to be carrying a lot of weight on her shoulders, especially now that she received the title Princess of Wales. Being a Princess, a mother, and a future Queen, or Queen Consort at least, she has her hands busy at all times, but she still manages to perform everything with excellence.
Recently, the couple left Kensington Palace in favor of Adelaide Cottage, just a 10-minute walk from Windsor Castle, which marks another change since Queen Elizabeth’s passing. The children attend new school, and the last couple of months have truly been hectic for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
On top of everything, the royals now have to deal with the accusations brought up in Harry’s all-tell memoir Spare. As expected, he revealed plenty of things about the members of the Firm, and Kate, his sister-in-law, wasn’t spared either.

However, no one from the Palace made any comments regarding Harry’s book or the interviews he’s giving to the media. What’s most, besides speaking of her and revealing details of her private life, Kate is said not to be very angry as she is “totally immersed” in her work and reportedly too busy “to take much notice.”
With Charles acceding to the throne, Kate and her husband William were handed much bigger and more meaningful responsibilities, most of which close to Kate’s heart. Among the rest, Kate became the patron of English rugby after Prince Harry’s departure from the royal fold.
At the time being, Kate is said to be getting ready to launch a brand new campaign to help children and future generations.
This isn’t the first time the lovely Princess to be doing something meaningful for the children in need. Throughout the years, she has worked tirelessly to highlight social issues such as child care in hospitals and homelessness among children.
“Of course, there have been other distractions but the princess has had far more important things on her mind. It’s an important and exciting time,” a royal source told Mirror.
“The campaign she has been working on really is the result of several months behind the scenes (and) will launch a new three to five year programme.”

Further, the source added, “(Kate) spends a lot of time reading, meeting and speaking with professionals across the entire field – but this isn’t just one project, it’s an opportunity to make generational change for all our children.
“There are a number of creative parts in the process for parents and non-parents to be involved across the country with lots more to come and the hope is as many people as possible, from those in the medical and academic world as well as parents and non-parents, join the journey.”
Despite being busy performing royal duties, Kate still finds time for herself.

Growing up in the countryside, Kate is used to being outdoors and enjoying the nature.
“I’m very lucky I’ve come from a very strong family. My parents were hugely dedicated to us – myself and my siblings. I really appreciate now, as a parent, how much they sacrificed for us,” Middleton said on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast.
“They would come to every sports match, I was very keen on sport, they’d be the ones on the sidelines shouting. We’d always have our family holidays together. I think the things that resonate with me most are the simple things, and I think I see that even with my own children.”
She is helping her children get ready for school and helps them with their studying, but at the same time, she manages to find little time to exercise.

According to the Daily Mail, her routine involves a move called the plank which is similar to a push-up, only with one’s forearms resting on the ground.
“There are three elements; the basic plank, the side plank, and the prone skydive, all of which are positions Kate can hold for 45 seconds or longer and repeat at least ten times each,” the source told the Daily Mail.
“The side plank requires you to balance on your side, holding your body straight with feet together and one arm flexed directly under your shoulder.
“Meanwhile, the prone sky dive plank is slightly less excruciating, as you have to lie on your tummy and gently raise your chest off the floor until your tummy muscles beg for mercy,” the source added.

She also works out with an inflated gym ball and plays sorts, including hockey and tennis, as well as cross-country running. What’s most, she often joins her kids on the trampoline which is in their garden. “It’s running around after the children – I do it all. Whenever I can squeeze in exercise, I do, even jumping on the trampoline with my children before school,” Kate revealed, as per Express UK.

In life, it happens that we meet someone and we instantly know that’s the person we would like to spend our eternity with. An 80-year-old man brought breakfast and flowers to his wife who was in a nursing home. Someone who has spotted him doing this each morning asked him about his wife and why she was staying at the facility. The man replied that she suffered from Alzheimer’s.
“Would your Wife be worried if one day you didn’t come and bring her breakfast?” the curious person asked the elderly man. The man then replied, “She doesn’t remember. She doesn’t even know who I am, she hasn’t recognized me for five years.”
Surprised, the person asked yet another question, “So why do you bring your wife breakfast every morning, even though she doesn’t even recognize you?” With a smile on his face, the devoted husband answered, “She doesn’t know who I am, but I know who she is.”
This has truly touched our hearts to the core.

Although the name Pattie Mallette might not sound familiar at first, this woman is the mother of one of the greatest pop stars of today, Justin Bieber.
Mallette’s life had been a troubled one. She had her son at the age of just 17, and today, she’s a fixture in Justin Bieber’s world.
In her 2013 book Nowhere but Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom, Mallette opened up of her childhood struggles and revealed that she had been sexually abused multiple times by different people while growing up.
She was molested by a babysitter as well as a friend’s grandfather. “I was sexually violated so many times that as the years went by it began to feel normal,” she wrote. “It’s a strange marriage—knowing something is wrong yet at the same time finding it familiar and commonplace.”
Unfortunately, these experiences led to alcohol and drug abuse, something Mallette struggled with as a teenager. “I’ve learned it’s normal and natural for anybody who’s been through sexual abuse to carry that shame and that blame and feel like there’s something wrong with you,” she said on the Today Show. “So I definitely carried that.”
At the age of 17, Mallette attempted suicide. As a result, she ended up at a mental facility and learned that she was pregnant mere months after leaving the place. She and her child’s father, Jeremy Bieber, dated ever since she was 15, but they were involved in an on-and-off relationship. At one point in her life, she was selling drugs and got engaged in small-time theft.
She gave birth to Justin Bieber in London, Ontario, on March 1, 1994.
Although she has been a single mother, she dedicated her world to her son. It was Mallette who knew her son was very talented for singing so she signed him up for the 2007 Stratford Star talent competition, where he placed second singing “So Sick” by Ne-Yo.
In order for her family and friends to see Justin singing, Mallette posted videos of him on YouTube and that’s when someone influential noticed his talent. Well, the rest is history.
Today, besides publishing a book which was number 17 on New York Times’ Bestseller List, Mallette is also a producer.
This woman had a non-traditional childhood but she still managed to raise her son the right way and help him become a superstar.

In a world full of people who possess immense talents, only a handful manage to reach stardom and make a name for themselves. So what does it take to become a celebrity? I guess that despite talent and determination, one needs to be lucky as well.
Troy Donahue was a very skilled young man who stole the hearts of many with his acting, and above all, his looks.
During the 50’s and the 60’s, Donahue was considered one of the most handsome young men who took Hollywood by storm. He was blond, tall, well-built, and had blue eyes. Along with his talent, it was a perfect combination for success and Donahue was soon dubbed America’s heartthrob.
Sadly, the circumstances surrounding him led his life to become a complete mess.

Being born to a mother who was a stage actress, Donahue fell in love with acting from early age. Speaking to People magazine back in 1984, the Summer Place actor said, ”I can remember always being exposed to Broadway and theater people. I can remember sitting with Gertrude Lawrence while she read her reviews in ‘The King and I.’”
Donahue studied journalism at Columbia University but he never stopped dreaming of becoming and actor, and during the time he hit screens for the first time, he already had an agent and changed his birth name, Merle Johnson, to Troy Donahue.
”At first, they had Paris, the lover of Helen of Troy in mind. But I guess they thought they couldn’t name me Paris Donahue because there was already a Paris, France and Paris, Illinois,” he said.

He made his film debut with Man Afraid and signed with Warner Bros two years later.
”They’d asked me to light a cigarette, and when I did, they screamed and fell down,” Donahue recalled.
However, despite becoming a famous name in the industry, he wasn’t well-paid. ”I was living like a movie star but wasn’t being paid like one,” he revealed and added: “I lived way over my head and got into great trouble.”

During the course of his life, he was married four times, and each of his marriages ended in divorce. The reason why his love life, and his life in general, didn’t go as planned was due to his alcohol addiction.
”I was loaded all the time. I’d wake up about 6:30 in the morning, take three aspirins mixed with codeine, slug down half a pint of vodka, and then do four lines of cocaine,” he shared.
According to him, his addiction wasn’t the reason his career declined, because he was never drunk while on set. Sadly, he had a hard time battling alcoholism and shared that he started drinking when he was still very young, it had nothing to do with the way his career progressed.

He only stopped drinking after his final marriage failed and he finally asked for professional help in May 1982. ”I look upon my sobriety as a miracle. I simply do it one day at a time. The obsession to not drink has become as big as the obsession to drink. I was very fortunate.”
When he finally got on the right track, Donahue met this woman he used to date and she told him that he had a 13-year-old son, Sean. It was then that she decided to tell him she gave birth because she knew he wasn’t an addict any longer.
The boy looked exactly like Donahue and he didn’t even need a DNA test to prove that Sean was indeed his son.
Around this time, he was only getting roles in B-list movies, but that didn’t concern him much.

Troy Donahue died in 2001 at the age of 65 due to heart attack.
Since getting sober, he led a healthy lifestyle and maintained a great relationship with the son he learned of later in life.

Singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley, who was the only daughter of ‘The King of Rock and Roll,’ Elvis Presley, was laid to rest on the famous property Graceland next to her father and her son Benjamin Keough, who died of suicide in 2020.
Presley passed away on January 12, after she suffered cardiac arrest in her LA home. The news of the tragic loss was shared by her mother, Priscilla Presley, who wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
On the day of Presley’s funeral, her son-in-law, Ben Smith-Peterson, the husband of Presley’s daughter, Riley, shared Riley’s words on her behalf and said, “I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters. Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, my temper, my wildness, my tenacity. I’m a product of your heart, my sisters are a product of your heart, my brother is a product of your heart.”
It was also revealed that Lisa Marie Presley become a grandmother months prior to her passing. Riley Keough, her daughter, gave birth in 2022 and she confirmed the news with People magazine.
Riley and Ben have been married since 2014, and the two became first-time parents of a baby girl last year. The couple met during the filming of Mad Max: Furry Road.
In an article she published in Vogue Australia, Riley wrote, “My husband is such a good person. He’s calm and loyal and strong and sensitive. He’s my best friend.”
Besides Riley and her late son Benjamin, Presley was also a mother of twin girls Harper and Finley who are said to be left deeply traumatized by their mother’s loss. The girls are now with their father, who got full custody over them.
At the time being, the twins and Riley are spending time with their grandmother, Priscilla, in order to provide comfort to each other.
Lisa Marie Presley’s final public appearance was just two days prior to her passing. She and her mother Priscilla attended the Golden Globe event to support actor Austin Butler who portrayed her father in the biopic Elvis.
The famous Graceland property will now be left to Presley’s three daughters.

Speaking of relationships between celebrities, the first thing that comes to our mind is, well, that they don’t last long. Every marriage anniversary is a special occasion, but when it comes to Hollywood, these celebrations are even more special because they are rare.
When they first met on the set of Family Ties, Michael J.Fox and Tracy Pollan didn’t probably assume that their off-screen relationship would outlast that of 19-year-old teen Alex and the brainy dancer Ellen Reed, the characters they played on the show.
Michael J. Fox was in his late twenties when he was diagnosed with the Parkinson’s disease. It was short after he and Tracy got married and had their first child.
Tracy never left her husband’s side and is his biggest support. The two are doing their best to cope with Michael’s condition and are working hard on raising funds for finding cure for Parkinson’s disease.
The couple’s four children, Esme, 20, Aquinnah and Schuyler, identical twins, 27 years old, and Sam, 33, all lead a much quieter lives than those of their parents. In fact, only Sam owns an account accessible to everyone on Instagram where he often shares photos of his dad and his family and he’s the spitting image of Michael.
All of Michael’s kids are very supportive and never miss a chance to accompany their father on meaningful events related to raising awareness about Parkinson’s disease.
What we love about this family is that they use every occasion to remind one another how much they love each other.
Recently, Michael shared a photo of his twins and wrote, “Twice the love, a hundred times the laughs. Happy birthday to my gorgeous girls today. I love you so much.”
In an interview amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Michael spoke of how his family spent the days as they all relocated to Long Island to be under one roof. “We were typically linger-after-dinner sorts anyhow, and now we were lingering and discussing about what people were going through. Putting together jigsaw puzzles, seeing Tracy cook up a storm, and interacting with the other guests, including these incredible kids and this great lady. I find it difficult to accept that this is my life.”
Michael’s kids shared some heart-breaking news recently. In September, 2022, Michael’s mother, Phyllis Piper, passed away. She was 92.
During a panel which celebrated the iconic movie Back to the Future, Michael joked that his mother believed he shouldn’t have filmed that movie because at the time he did Family Ties during the day and she though he would be too tired to be filming another movie during the night.
“To this day – well, till two weeks ago – my mother thought it was a really bad idea for me to do Back to the Future. She loved the movie, [but she was right], I got tired,” Michael said.
“My mum had a long and fulfilling life. “There was no more revered woman,” Fox, 61, said. “She was a lovely lady. You were confident that you would be treated fairly. And she loved to laugh—she laughed all the time.”
When Phyllis learned of her son’s Parkinson’s disease diagnosis, she was very concerned.
“I was still working TV and movies and establishing a family when I launched the foundation,” Michael recalled. “When she questioned how I did it all, I told her, ‘I just go forward,’ he said of his mom. “I’m not interested in taking stock or lamenting that something isn’t going to happen. My mum was the same way. She’d never calculate the losses. She’d consider the benefits.”
Michael’s father was part of the military and it was Phyllis who took care of her children when her husband was deployed. She was the one who kept the family together.
“Army wives are adaption masters,” Michael said. “They just know how to handle a new scenario, get the house together, get the schools set up, get a job on the side — since military money is nothing. We didn’t get it as youngsters. Now I understand.”
The actor is doing all in his power to stay optimistic. “If I can find thankfulness in anything I do and whatever scenario I’m in if I can find one little thing to be grateful for, it turns the whole situation around and allows for the possibility of grace, of something great happening,” the actor says. “I’m just getting back into that groove, so it’s very good.”

The world is still mourning the loss of the only daughter of ‘The King of Rock and Roll.’
Lisa Marie Presley suffered cardiac arrest on January 12, 2023, after which she was transferred to the ICU unit in a critical condition. According to reports, she was put in an induced coma and on life support with a temporary pacemaker.
A spokesperson of the LA county sheriff said that emergency responders were dispatched to Lisa Marie’s Calabasas home at around 10:40 a.m. local time. They were able to regain her pulse before rushing her to the hospital.
Presley was found by the housekeeper. At the time, her ex-husband, Danny Keough, arrived at the house and performed CPR while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
Sadly, Presley didn’t make it and the news of her tragic passing was shared by her mother, Priscilla Presley.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla said in a statement. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
Now, new details surrounding the singer-songwriter death have emerged. Allegedly, when Presley was placed in medically induced coma, her family gathered together as they were forced to make a heartbreaking decision and sign a do not resuscitate order in case of a second cardiac arrest. According to reports, Presley was already pronounced brain-dead upon her arrival at the hospital and the family believed they did the right thing at the time. Following the second cardiac arrest, Presley passed away.
According to a statement from the family’s representative, “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
Presley has been laid to rest in Graceland alongside her son Benjamin Keough, who died of suicide in 2020 at the age of 27, and her late father.
Lisa Marie Presley’s representative confirmed that Graceland would now go to her daughters, her oldest daughter Riley, and teenage twins Harper and Finley Lockwood.

With Lisa Marie Presley’s passing, the world has lost a precious soul.
However, no matter how much her fans mourn her loss, it is her three daughters and her mother who are left with the greatest void in their hearts.
Presley’s daughter, actress Riley Keough, has broken her silence and shared her heartbreak over her mother’s tragic death.
The singer-songwriter died following a cardiac arrest she suffered in her LA home on January 12, 2023. According to her mother’s statement, Presley was rushed to the hospital where she was placed in induced coma, but died shortly after.
After taking some time to process her grief, Riley posted a stunning throwback photo of the two.
Her friends and fans shared words of condolences.
“I am sending you and your family love and prayers as you grieve the loss of your beautiful mother, @rileykeough,” and “I am sorry, this is such a devastating loss” were just some of the comments. “I’m thinking about you and your family and giving you my love and strength.”
Riley has spoken of the importance her mother had in her life numerous times before. Speaking to People mere days before the tragedy took place, Riley described her mother as strong and bright and someone who had always chased her dreams, pushing Riley to do the same.
Presley always shielded her daughter from the stress and the pressure of being part of one of the most famous families in the show-business and encouraged her to pursue whatever interested her.
In the final months of Presley’s life, she and Riley collaborated to promote the biopic Elvis, staring starring Austin Butler, whom Presley supported at the Golden Globes event.
Riley was born years after her famous grandfather, ‘The King of Rock and Roll,’ passed away, but her mother made sure she learned everything about him through the stories she shared and the legacy she had always tended to keep alive.

The Bahamian-American actor, film director, and ambassador Sidney Poitier passed away on January 6, 2022 at the age of 94. He was the first black actor to ever win an Oscar, thus he will always be remembered as someone who broke down Hollywood’s racial barriers.
Born to parents who owned a farm in Cat Island in the Bahamas, Poitier was welcomed into this world three months prematurely during his parent’s visit to America where they sold their products. This granted Poitier an American citizenship. He spent his childhood years in his native country before moving to America at the age of 15. He lied about his age in order to serve the country during the World War II.
After leaving the army, he dreamed of becoming an actor, but due to his poor reading skills and his distinguishing thick accent, he couldn’t land any role.

Instead, Poitier started working as a dishwasher but spent much of his time practicing reading and mimicking the accent from people he heard on the radio. With the help of one Jewish waiter, he perfected his reading skills and was ready to do auditions once again. This time, he got a role with the American Negro Theatre in Harlem, New York, and that was the start of a career which spanned many years. Poitier made his Broadway debut in Lysistrata in 1946 and went on to stare in over 55 movies, winning an Oscar for the film Lilies of the Field.
Many of the movies he was part of examined racial tensions, including Edge of the City, Band of Angels, and The Defiant Ones among the rest.
One of the films he held dearly to his heart was The Lost Man. Some may wonder why. It is because during the filming of it, he met the woman who became the great love of his life, Canadian actress Joanna Shimkus. Before her, Poitier was married to Juanita Hardy with whom he had four daughters. His first marriage was marked with infidelity. Poitier had a nine-year long affair with actress Diahann Carroll.

Poitier married his second wife in 1976 and stayed by her side until the last day of his life. Their love was profound and he never missed a chance to remind everyone how much she meant to him. They had two daughters, who both followed into their parents’ footsteps.
“I guess we were just destined to be [together],” Shimkus said of Poitier in 1998.
Speaking of the key to their long and happy marriage, the actor revealed in an interview with Closer, “There is one key ingredient my wife has helped me to recognize over the years, and that is the importance of articulatinglove for one another on a daily basis.”
“My wife and my children mean the most to me,” he told People in 2016, while Shimkus added, “We’ve been together 49 years and I’m a good cook. I cook every night. … I take good care of him.”
Despite divorcing his first wife, Poitier remained very close to her and his daughters.
Over the course of his life, besides receiving numerous awards for his incredible acting, Poitier also received the U.S. Presidential Medal of Freedom, and a knighthood from the Queen. He was also awarded an honorary Academy Award for his work in the entertainment industry.
Being an interracial couple, Poitier and Shimkus never really experienced any inconveniences. In thedocumentary Sidney Poitier: One Bright Light, she said, “I grew up in Canada and I never really had any kind of prejudice — it’s unlike America. I just never had those feelings. And we’ve never had a problem, actually. It could be that we lead a very quiet life. It could be that it’s just the way it is, I don’t really know. But I never really did see him as a Black man. I mean, I know he is Black, but I just saw him as a man, and he was just a wonderful person. An amazing human being.”

Many of his colleagues and friends issued statements remembering Poitier’s greatness, both as an actor and as a gentle human being loved by many.
“For over 80 years, Sidney and I laughed, cried and made as much mischief as we could,” Harry Belafonte wrote. “He was truly my brother and partner in trying to make this world a little better. He certainly made mine a whole lot better.”
Oscar winner Morgan Freeman honored Poitier and described him as “my inspiration, my guiding light, my friend.” Oprah Winfrey wrote, “Friend. Brother. Confidant. Wisdom teacher.”

Sir Rod Stewart is a legendary British rock and pop legend. Having sold over 250 million records worldwide, he is among the best-selling music artists of all time.
In 2008, Billboard magazine ranked him the 17th most successful artist on the “Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists.” Stewart was inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 as a solo artist, the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2006, and he was inducted a second time into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of Faces.
Back in 2019, the Grammy and Brit Award recipient revealed that he had successfully been treated of prostate cancer which he battled for three years.
Stewart went public with his diagnosis at a fundraising event for the Prostate Project and European Tour Foundation charity in Surrey, England.
“No one knows this, but I thought this was about time I told everybody,” the father-of-eight said. “I’m in the clear, now, simply because I caught it early. I have so many tests.”
He then said he wanted to raise awareness and urged men to get checked on a regular basis to ensure early detection. “Guys, you’ve got to really go to the doctor. Finger up the bum, no harm done,” the musician whose hits include “Maggie May” and “I Don’t Want To Talk About It” added.
Prostate Cancer UK s the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men, and it’s estimated that by 2030, prostate cancer will be the most commonly diagnosed cancer overall.
This wasn’t the first time for Sir Rod Stewart to be diagnosed with cancer. In 2010, he felt a lump on his throat which turned out to be cancerous.
“I felt fearful, vulnerable to a degree that I never had before,” he later wrote in an autobiography, but the tumour was quickly removed. “No chemotherapy was required – which, in turn, meant there was no risk that I’d lose my hair,” he wrote. “And let’s face it: if we’re ranking threats to the survival of my career, losing my hair would be second only to losing my voice.”
Luckily, today he’s in great health.

Harry didn’t spare any of the members of the Firm in his all-tell memoir Spare which is expected to become the best-selling book of 2023.
Among the rest, he spoke of his life as a royal, his upbringing, his late mother and the pain her death brought into his life, William and Kate, as well as his step-mother and his father, King Charles.
Speaking of his mother’s passing, Harry revealed that he felt like King Charles didn’t support him enough after the tragedy took place. He even recalled the moment his father told him the horrific news.

According to Harry, Charles sat next to his bed and said, “Darling boy, Mummy’s been in a car crash.
“There were complications. Mummy was quite badly injured and taken to hospital, darling boy.
“He always called me ‘darling boy,’ but he was saying it quite a lot now. His voice was soft. He was in shock, it seemed.
“With a head injury. They tried, darling boy. I’m afraid she didn’t make it.”
Harry then revealed that Charles put his hand on his knee, saying, “It’s going to be OK,” but that he “didn’t hug” him.
Harry further added, “Everyone knows where they were and what they were doing the night my mother died.
“I cried once, at the burial, and you know I go into detail about how strange it was and how actually there was some guilt that I felt and I think William felt as well, by walking around the outside of Kensington Palace.”

At the time the world learned of the affair between Charles and Camilla, everyone saw them as villains in Diana’s story. In order to help herself create a better image among the British people, Harry claimed Camilla leaked stories to the media.
“That made her dangerous because of the connections that she was forging within the British press,” Harry said.
“And there was open willingness on both sides to trade of information. And with a family built on hierarchy, and with her, on the way to being Queen Consort, there was gonna be people or bodies left in the street because of that.”

“If you are led to believe, as a member of the family, that being on the front page, having positive headlines, positive stories written about you, is going to improve your reputation or increase the chances of you being accepted as monarch by the British public, then that’s what you’re gonna do.”
All these ‘accusations’ and the fact that Harry said the initial drafts of his book was around 800 pages and that it could be two books instead of one if he didn’t decide to leave some things unsaid made the royals even more worried and furious to say the least, experts claim.
“There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know. Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me.”
Harry added, “And there were other bits that I shared with [ghost writer of Spare] J.R. Moehringer, that I said, ‘Look, I’m telling you this for context, but there’s absolutely no way I’m putting it in there.’”

Tim Bower, for one, believes that the king fears his son “has barely scratched the surface” with his revelations about the royals included in the memoir.
“No one knows better than Charles that Harry has barely scratched the surface when it comes to his tumultuous marriage to Diana, his difficult relationship with his own parents and his adulterous relationship with Camilla,” Bower wrote.
“The embattled King knows he has good reason to fear his son.”
Further, he claims that Charles might feel guilt over Harry’s words that he didn’t provide proper support to his sons following their mother’s tragic passing.
In Spare, Harry quoted his father allegedly saying, “Please boys, don’t make my final years a misery,” and Bower claims that “All too often, at weekends and during school holidays, Harry was left in the care of his nanny at Highgrove while his father pursued his own interests or nestled in another home with Camilla.”

Further Bower writes that he doesn’t believe any compromise between the Sussexes and the rest of the royals could be reached in the near future because all Harry and Meghan want is for the Firm to offer them an apology and admit they did them wrong, which according to Bower would undermine the monarchy.
“For the Royal Family to in any way seek a compromise with a couple who have proven themselves to be so unreliable, untrustworthy and deceptive is a recipe for undermining the monarchy,” he believes.
“I think Harry has no other option for his own profit and Meghan’s profit to continue these allegations into infinity,” Bower explained.
“At some stage, the Royal Family has to draw a line and say that these allegations are untrue and the institution – which is supported by the majority of Britons – represents us and will not be traduced by this couple in California who hate them but keep their titles.
“They’ve so far earned over $120 million just by rubbishing and fabricating, in my view, about a family who provides a huge service to Britain,” Bower added.
We are yet to see what the future holds for Harry and Meghan and the royal family.

The British royal family is one of the most famous families there are, and with that, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the wide public is interested in everything there is about their private lives.
Living a life under the watchful eye of the paparazzi and the media isn’t easy, and out of everyone, Harry and Meghan know that best.
In fact, according to the Prince himself, this was one of the reasons why he and Meghan decided to move to the States. Harry has accused the paparazzi of his mother’s suffering many times and he certainly didn’t want his wife to go through the same ordeal.
The couple now tends to live a more quieter life and keep their children away from the spotlight.

When Archie Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6, 2019, Harry and Meghan posed with him in front of the Portland Hospital in London, where he was born, as is the tradition.
“Today The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share their first public moment as a family,” the Sussexes wrote.
They also shared photos of the little one meeting his great-grandma, Queen Elizabeth, for the first time.
Later, Harry and Meghan took a trip to South Africa where they met Archbishop Desmond Tutu. “Thank you Archbishop Tutu for your incredibly warm hospitality, Archie loved meeting you!” they wrote on Instagram along with a series of photos of their son.
Except for that, they have tried keeping both their children out of the spotlight as much as possible.
However, that changed when the Netflix documentary about Harry and Meghan, consisting of six episodes, aired. In the first episode of the documentary, the Sussexes provided people from all over the world with an intimate look into the family life at their home in Montecito, California which was previously described as “Fort Knox,” and security is tight.
With that said, fans were able to take a closer look at Archie and Lilibet as well.
Archie, being the older sibling, stole the show quite a few times and viewers were able to hear him speak for the first time.

In one of the scenes, the father and the son are seen birth-watching from their patio. As they were eager to watch the hummingbirds, Harry asked from Archie to be quiet so that he could hear the sound of the nature.
“We won’t get a chance to be this close to hummingbirds ever again,” Harry told Archie.
Well, being just a toddler, Archie did quite the opposite and started speaking in a loud voice. In one moment, he could be heard saying, “I’ve got a dirty foot mama because I was with you,” which made his parents laugh.
“You’ve got a dirty foot, sweetheart,” Meghan replied. “Papa is a birdwatcher so this is a really big moment for him.”

The series treated the fans with plenty of other beautiful family photos and videos, including one where Harry is resting on Meghan’s baby bump. Then, Meghan and Archie feeding their chickens, and Harry pushing Lili in a baby stroller. What fans found the cutest of all is a photo of Harry and Archie posing under an umbrella while the little one wears a knitted hooded jumper with bear ears. There was also another photo of Archie which made people emotional. He could be seen looking at a photo of his late grandmother, Princess Diana.

Another short video of Archie was also included in the documentary. It showed a beautiful sunset and Meghan asking him what he thinks of it.
“Well, it’s all done, beautiful,” he answers.
And as much as many found Archie adorable, they couldn’t help but share their thoughts on the way he speaks, or better said, on his accent. It is obvious that he has adopted an American accent.
“Not Archie having the most adorable American accent,” one user wrote on Twitter.
“Prince Archie has an American accent? I didn’t have any expectations of what he’d sound like but it was not that,” a second person tweeted.
Experts spoke of the possibilities of Archie speaking with an American accent and that is totally normal as he’s constantly interacting with local children. This doesn’t mean, however, that he wouldn’t be able to switch between accents once he grows older.
“If Archie’s first experience of mixing with other kids is in a Los Angeles preschool, he will develop a Californian US accent,” Geoffrey Pullum, linguist and emeritus professor of general linguistics at the University of Edinburgh explained.
“He may learn to speak like an American kid in California, but be able to switch to a British accent when he visits in England,” Berko Gleason, an emerita professor at Boston University who researches language acquisition, added.
The Sussexes might be causing a stir with their series and Harry’s book Spare which was published two weeks ago, but they are definitely seem to be living their lives to the fullest.

Spare might have helped Harry make millions, but it certainly made things between him and the rest of the royals worse.
Although they are not making any comments nor they are issuing statements regarding his all-tell memoir, rumors are that the members of the Firm are far from happy with the accusations brought up by Prince Harry.
For one, his book ruined his already weakened reputation among the people of Britain. However, as one would assume that Spare would help increase that of Prince and Princess of Wales, that’s not the case as recent survey shows that William and Kate’s popularity among the Brits decreased as well.

Among the many things he detailed in his book, Harry also spoke of William and Kate. Among the rest, he recalled the day William knocked him on the floor and challenged him to hit him back, but Harry refused to do so. He also opened up of the devastation which followed after he wasn’t invited to his brother’s home as often as he expected upon Prince George’s birth.
As of William and Kate’s wedding day, Harry wrote, “The public had been told that I was to be best man, but that was a bare-faced lie. The public expected me to be best man, and thus the Palace saw no choice but to say that I was. In truth, Willy didn’t want me giving a best-man speech. He didn’t think it safe to hand me a live mic and put me in a position to go off script. I might say something wildly inappropriate. He wasn’t wrong.”
He then added, “Also, the lie gave cover to James and Thomas, two civilians, two innocents. Had they been outed as Willy’s best men, the rabid press would’ve chased them, tracked them, hacked them, investigated them, ruined their families’ lives. Both chaps were shy, quiet. They couldn’t handle such an onslaught, and shouldn’t be expected to. Willy explained all this to me and I didn’t blink. I understood. We even had a laugh about it, speculating about the inappropriate things I might’ve said in my speech.”

Allegedly, William didn’t want to wear the uniform he wore on his big day and wanted to wear his Household Cavalry Uniform instead but the Queen didn’t approve so he ended up putting on the red uniform of the Irish Guards.
“I assured [William] that he looked bloody smart in the Harp of Ireland, with the Crown Imperial and the forage cap with the regimental motto: ‘Quis Separabit? Who shall separate us?’ It didn’t seem to make an impression. I, on the other hand, did not look smart, nor did I feel comfortable, in my Blues and Royals uniform, which protocol dictated that I wear. I’d never worn it before and hoped not to wear it again anytime soon,” Harry recalled.
“I recall Kate walking down the aisle, looking incredible, and I recall Willy walking her back up the aisle, and as they disappeared through the door, into the carriage that would convey them to Buckingham Palace, into the eternal partnership they’d pledged, I recall thinking: Goodbye,” Harry said.
Due to Harry and Meghan’s departure from the royal family as well as the many interviews in which they made plenty of accusations against the royals and Harry’s book being released, the Sussexes’ reputation went down from 80 percent a decade ago to only 24, with 68 percent of those surveyed being critical of him.
What comes as a surprise to many is that William and Kate’s reputation went down as well.

According to the recent YouGov poll, the Prince and Princess of Wales have received the “lowest figures on record.” They got 70 percent and 68 percent, respectively, which isn’t bad as numbers, but it does show significant decrease compared to previous years.
“Those hard workers over at YouGov have been at it though, polling Brits to find out how they are currently feeling about the House of Windsor. The numbers paint a grim picture for anyone with a personal cipher, notably William and Kate,” royal commentator Daniela Elser wrote in a column for the New Zealand Herald.
“Their net favourability sits at 49 percent for the Prince and 50 percent for the Princess. The lowest figures on record for the duo since polling started in 2011.”
