60-year-old woman gets a makeover so drastic her daughter doesn’t recognize her

Everyone likes nice and pleasant changes. There are periods in our lives when we want a new haircut and improved physical appearance, along with a new outfit and beautiful accessories.

This was also the case with Kim. This lady wanted something new and fresh for her 60th birthday. She wanted to celebrate the birthday in a style. She told her daughter that she would like to visit Christopher Hopkin’s team one day. And that was everything she did.

However, her daughter did not forget her mother’s wish. She was working hard to give her mother the wonderful surprise.

All the family members worked on the surprise, but, Kim was not aware of that. And that was the plan. When the moment came, she was amazed.

“On my 60th birthday they gave me a clue on a card every half an hour and at the very end it revealed that I was coming to the Makeover Guy!” she said.

The happy face says it all. She couldn’t hide the happiness and excitement when she found herself in the salon of the Makeover Guy. Before the big moment, she says:

“I’m excited, I just can’t wait.”

She also adds that she does not fear of the new style and look. She just wants to freshen up.

Christopher’s team accepted the challenge. They started working on the long wavy hair. The hair with little volume and dirty-blonde colour was about to be turned into something completely different and fabulous. In addition to that, the make-up was simply amazing. Upon seeing herself, she could barely stop the tears in her eyes. She says:

“It’s amazing! It’s amazing!”

Her family was equally surprised. They could not believe the changes. They were looking at a completely different person.

Thug shot cop 4 times, officer shows up at court with a “little gift”

Kevin Rojas, a 19-year-old man from Florida, turned extremely violent when an off-duty officer, who was driving his son to school, saw Rojas driving erratically and decided to make traffic stop. At that moment, the teenager pulled out his gun and without giving it a second thought, he fired four shots at the unnamed officer, shooting him in the face, the stomach, and his hand. The officer’s son was unharmed.

Although he was seriously wounded, the officer still managed to fire a shot at Rojas, who at that moment, stole a truck, drove home, and barricaded himself inside the house. When officers arrived at the scene, they asked from Rojas to surrender the firearms. As he refused to do so, officers shot him through a glass door and hit him in the torso, the leg, and the hand, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Once at the court, Rojas was found guilty of all charges, attempted first-degree murder, attempted manslaughter, two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, grand theft auto, and fleeing. He was given a life in prison.

The judge said he had a hard time understanding how Rojas could shot the officers with such ease. “I’m pretty sure Mr. Rojas doesn’t understand what the rest of his life means,” the judge said as he delivered the verdict.

There, at the courtroom, was the officer whom Rojas tried to kill and he was there with a little gift for the culprit. “I will take those bullets instead of a fellow officer or innocent bystander,” the officer said. “If there was a coward on that day, it was Kevin Rojas,” he told the court before addressing Rojas directly. “When I brought the fight back, you ran like a coward.”

The officer then handed Royas the gift he had for him. “So, I got a little gift for you,” he said while placing a bottle of KY Jelly lubricant on the witness stand. “You’re going to need a lot of this where you’re going little man.”

What the officer did had people’s opinions divided. There were those who praised the officers “gift,” and those who didn’t approve of his behavior at the courtroom.

“Too bad the cop [didn’t] take out his weapon in the courtroom and kill that piece of s**t right there save taxpayers a lot of money,” someone wrote on Facebook, while another person added, “I shouldn’t laugh, but that is priceless. It’s good the creep didn’t kill anyone and that the teenage son wasn’t injured.”

“Good for that cop, a very appropriate going away present for the thug. Awesome,” someone wrote. “I don’t blame the cop. This clown wrecked his life for nothing. The judge did the right thing. This nut cannot be loose. When he is 60, if he lives that long, he may be better. If they can let him out then, maybe. I would not lose much sleep over it for now,” someone else added.

Some of the users who saw the video on YouTube commented that the officer shouldn’t have done what he did and brought his professionalism into question.

“A real professional that officer. You may be frustrated however you have no integrity nor honor in your use of a gimmick, stupid one at best, during your speech at the sentencing of this thug. Hope the department sees what you really are,” someone wrote.

Deputies come across starving family of five living in the woods – Mother tears down towards the deputies’ gesture

Every living person deserves a decent life, but sadly, that’s not always the case. The number of people who don’t have roof over their had is huge. Many struggle to make ends meet and to provide food for their families, and the ongoing pandemic only made things worse.

Deputies Tim Yee and Johnny Le were asked to check out a homeless camp behind a Walmart store in Sacramento, California. The sight left them speechless and heartbroken. A family of five were camping in the woods behind the store. The children were dirty and hungry and their mother, Shannon Loveless, was having a hard time putting food on the table.

When she noticed the officers approaching, she was convinced she would find herself in trouble. Shannon was certain they would ask her to leave the premises and maybe even fine her.

“It was a shock because we didn’t know if we were going to get into trouble,” Shannon told CBS 13.

To her surprise, that’s not what happened.

On the contrary, the deputies were extremely polite. Not only did they not ask Shannon to leave, but they offered to help her and her family.

Without wasting any time, Yee and Le contacted social services and explained the severity of the situation, and luckily, the family was placed into a motel until they are given permanent accommodation.

The deputies’ kindness didn’t stop with finding Shannon’s family a place to stay. The next day, they stopped by and brought plenty of toys and food for the kids.

“Just for them to have a warm place to sleep, watch cartoons, you know things the kids do, you take it for granted, it’s been awesome,” Shannon said with tears in her eyes. “It’s a total game changer, the motivation is there and the morale kicked in and I’m ready.”

These deputies went an extra mile for these vulnerable members of their community and proved once again that they truly care for the people they protect. Thank you for your kindness. May God bless you.

Dad posted a photo of his newborn daughter online and it saved her life

With the joy of welcoming a bundle of joy in their lives, many parents feel the urge to take and share plenty of photos of their newborn baby on the social media.

One dad was playing with his baby girl when she made this funny face expression that he found really cute. Wanting his friends and family to see it, too, he posted it online.

A lot of people found it cute beyond words and took their time to comment on it. One person wrote, “She’s going to be a rebel and marry a penniless guy without tattoos.” The dad loved his friends’ funny remarks until he came across a comment that made his blood run cold.

“Are her eyes a little yellow? It looks like it to me, but it’s hard to tell, because the entire photo is a little yellow. It’s probably nothing, but it could be a symptom for neonatal jaundice. If her skin and eyes actually look a little yellow, then maybe you should get it checked out. I’m a paranoid children’s doctor, hence my concern,” the comment read.

This was so concerning that the dad took his daughter to the hospital right away. The doctor who wrote the comment was right. The sweet baby did have jaundice and the doctor likely saved her life.

Jaundice, a condition in which the skin, whites of the eyes, and mucous membranes turn yellow because of a high level of bilirubin, a yellow-orange bile pigment, is common in small children. However, if left untreated it can cause hepatitis, gallstones and tumors.

This woman’s pregnancy went normally, until an ultrasound showed her baby had malformations

Expecting a child is one of the most anticipated things in the lives of many couples. From the moment they learn they are going to be parents, many moms and dads-to-be pray that their bundle of joy be born healthy.

Olesia, a young woman from Russia, and her husband Eugen were overjoyed when they learned their family would become bigger.

Everything seemed fine with the pregnancy until one day doctors shared with Olesia some devastating news. The ultrasound showed that the baby girl would have malformations. According to the doctors, the little one’s hands wouldn’t develop and all of her internal organs were enlarged.

The family was advised to terminate the pregnancy. Olesia recalled that the doctor’s words were: “Do you understand that this is a cross that you will have to carry all your life? An invalid child! You will be pointed the finger! You will only work for medicine and you will pray that she will die sooner!”

After thinking about it carefully, the expecting parents made a decision to keep their daughter. When they informed the doctors about it, they said: “That’s your job. Write a statement stating that you know the results of the ultrasound so that there are no complaints in the future.”

In the period that followed, the family’s worries over their unborn child grew bigger and bigger. They, however, never regretted the decision to proceed with the pregnancy.

It was during a cold December night that Olesia’s water broke. Eugen rushed her to the hospital and waited outside while she was giving birth to their daughter.

Some three hours later, baby Nadejda was born. Doctors placed her on Olesia’s chest and told her that she gave birth to a healthy baby girl. This mother couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Then, some of the hospital staff went outside to tell Eugen the good news. “Sir, sir, you have a little girl! Congratulations! And she is absolutely healthy!” The word ‘healthy’ echoed in this father’s ears. “Could this be true,” he kept asking himself.

When they realized their baby girl was indeed healthy and didn’t lack any parts of her body, the parents were both happy and confused.

It was then that doctors informed them how they misread the ultrasounds because Olesia had a large uterine fibroid, noncancerous growths of the uterus that often appear during childbearing years, also known as myomas. What they saw as malformations were in fact those growths.

Olesia was operated. Unfortunately, her female organs needed to be removed, but at least she gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl. You can take a look at a photo of her below.

These parents made the right decision when they decided to keep their baby.

Even though she was acting normally, everyone she met was making fun of her

Jacqueline Adan, a 29-year-old woman from California, has quite a story to share. Her life journey is so inspiring that it is worth sharing with every person on the planet. She is the perfect proof that when we want something badly, nothing can stand on our way of achieving our dreams, no matter how unreachable they seem at first glance.

She shared her motivational weight journey on her blog and attracted millions of fans.

This is her story:

“My name is Jacqueline Adan, I’m 29, a native of California, and I’ve struggled with weight my entire life.

From an early age, I struggled with my body image and despised the way I looked; the more depressed I became over it, the more I ate.

I was also angry with myself for letting food rule my life and contributing to my extreme weight gain.

No matter what I tried, it seemed like I could never maintain any sort of “diet” plan and would either wind up reclaiming the lost weight plus some, or I would give up when it became too difficult and turn to food once more.

I was always different from everyone around me because I was always “dieting” or worried about food and my body, and I was sick of it!”

“I could never eat what my friends were eating! I had given up totally by the time I started college in 2005 and just wanted to have a “regular” college life, so I started eating like everyone else and stopped caring.

My boyfriend Kevin and my sister Jenny decided that we needed to visit Disneyland, a place I have adored since since I was born, at the end of 2011, just a few months before my 25th birthday.

It’s a realm of magic and fantasy, a place where anything was possible and where dreams really did come true, a place where I was instantly turned into a princess as soon as I walked through those gates.

I reasoned that perhaps visiting the “happiest spot on earth” would help me feel better, but when we got there, I was so weak that I could hardly make it to the front gate without needing to rent a wheelchair.

I felt so ashamed that I was physically unable to walk and that I had gained so much weight that I had to use a wheelchair to move about.

When I was in a wheelchair in Disneyland, I recall feeling as like everyone was looking at me, judging me, and admiring the overweight girl on wheels who couldn’t even stand! I was humiliated!

In reality, I knew I wouldn’t fit on the rides, which crushed me, even though I told my sister and Kevin I didn’t want to ride them.

I consented to go on a couple rides that I believed I could fit on, but I overlooked one minor detail.

I noticed the turnstile as we got closer to the front of the line. Kevin and my sister both passed through, but I got stranded. I felt terrible!”

“I laughed it off once I got out, but I was overcome with guilt, shame, and embarrassment at the time. I couldn’t believe I had let myself get that huge. I went to the restroom and sobbed there.

A few days after turning 25, in February 2012, I recall knowing I needed to change—I wanted to change—when I woke up one morning.

Unaware of how drastically my life would change after making that one phone call, I chose to call Jenny Craig.

My thoughts was racing as I got ready to walk back onto the scale, but nothing could have prepared me for what I was going to see there.

Right there in Jenny Craig, I lost it and started crying. Once I had collected myself, I wiped my eyes, declared, “Ok, I can do this,” and we established a target for me to drop more than 300 pounds.

I aimed to at least reach the hundred mark. That day, as I left the center, I felt ready, resolute, overwhelmed, and terrified.

I am the type of person who will follow through on a goal if I truly believe in it. This time, nothing was going to stop me.”

Jacqueline went on to explain how she lost 100 pounds within a year with Jenny Craig as her inspiration and encouragement, as well as her family’s and friends’ support.

Her next trip to Disneyland took place some time later, but this time, Jacqueline was able to fit every ride.

Then in 2013, she visited Disneyland for a third time, but this time, she was 200 pounds lighter.

“I was still having trouble eating, wasn’t getting enough calories, which was making my migraine headaches worse, and the weight loss was still proving to be a challenge.

I started trying new meals, and I had to consciously remind myself that eating wouldn’t make me fat or gain weight. After some time, I was eventually able to turn things around and continue my change.

I started taking a “boot camp” session at “Fit For Life Solutions” in January 2015, and I absolutely adore it!”

Currently, Jacqueline weighs around 350 pounds, but she’s still attending boot camps. However, this weight loss didn’t come without other changes to her body. Sometimes, she experiences rashes, severe neck and back discomfort, and headaches as a result of the mental struggle she faces with because of her additional skin.

“Since I’m still healing from my first skin removal operation from July 28th, I’m trying not to let this stress me out too much and to keep my mind and body positive and peaceful.

This is not the end of my adventure, and I can’t wait to discover what lies ahead for me!

I still have the rest of my life to live, and I’m doing it in a way that makes me proud and no longer makes me ashamed.

Now I don’t have to worry about renting a wheelchair or trying to fit on the rides when I go to Disneyland.

In my family, there is a running joke that after everything is said and done, I will have a destination wedding, forgo wearing a bridal gown entirely, and exchange vows in a white designer bikini.

Disney once said, “Anything is possible; all you need is a little bit of confidence, trust, and fairy dust.” All of us must simply wait and see.”

With a little trust in ourselves, there is nothing we can’t achieve in life and this determined woman teaches us exactly that.

Pizza delivery driver runs into burning home to save five children

Not all heroes wear capes, some come in the form of people who never hesitate to jump into action when it comes to saving lives and providing help to those in need of it.

Nicholas Bostic, a 25-year-old pizza delivery guy from Indiana, found himself in the right place at the right time when he was passing past a burning home in the city of Lafayette.

Without thinking twice, he rushed inside the place in order to check whether there was someone inside. His bravery helped save the lives of three teenagers and two little kids aged one and six.

Four of the youngsters were siblings, and the fifth was a friend who was sleeping over in the house.

Before getting inside and fighting through the thick smoke, Bostic thought of calling 911, but as he didn’t have his phone with him, he was aware he needed to act very fast as the time was running out.

Bostic used the back door to get to the rooms where the youngsters were trapped, and after saving four of them, they told him there was also a girl there. Bostic then returned back although he knew he was risking his life as the flames spread all over the home.

Thankfully, all of the kids were fine.

Speaking of his heroic deed, Bostic said that he did what he believed was right. He even told ABC 7 Chicago that the siblings’ father said he wanted to take him out for dinner and that they now consider him a part of their family.

“I’m glad I was there at the right time, the right place. If [the] opportunity came again and I had to do it, I would do it,” Bostic said.

“I knew what I was risking. I knew the next second it could be my life. But every second counted.”

The Lafayette Police released a statement regarding the incident and wrote:

“Nicholas happened to be driving by the block of Union street when he noticed a house on fire.

“He immediately stopped in the roadway, threw his car into reverse, turned around and pulled into the driveway.

“He knew he had to act. He ran around to the back of the home and was able to open the back door. He began yelling inside [but] didn’t receive an answer.

“He walked through the house, calling out the danger, and eventually made his way up the stairs. He found four kids and helped them escape from the house.”

Had it not been for this brave man the night could have easily ended up with a tragedy.

‘We’re just doing our best’- Single dad raises infant quadruplets after his wife is called to Heaven

The love story of Erica and Carlos Morales resembled a fairy-tale. The two first laid eyes on each other during a night out at an Scottsdale, Arizona, night club in 2006. He didn’t speak any English and she had a hard time understanding Spanish, but he still invited her to dance with him.

As they called the night quits, Carlos scribbled his phone number on a piece of paper, but he later learned that Erica threw it away.

Around a year later, the two met again through mutual friends, but this time, they didn’t part ways. What’s most, he learned English and she learned Spanish, and soon after, they decided to tie the knot.

They both dreamed of becoming parents and tried for a baby, but Erica experienced a miscarriage. They described that experience as devastating and the worst of their lives. But then, Erica underwent a fertility treatment and some awesome news followed. The couple was expecting not one, but four babies.

Erica and Carlos couldn’t wait for the moment when they would be able to hold their bundles of joy in their arms. The pregnancy was a healthy one up until the point when the mom-to-be experienced high-blood pressure and was rushed to the hospital.

It was January 15 when Erica texted her husband how the doctors planned to deliver the babies right away. At that point, she was in the seventh month of the pregnancy.

“The doctor said she was having too many contractions so it was time to deliver the babies,” Carlos says. “We took pictures before she went into the delivery room, made some videos, and she was surrounded by family and friends. I said to her, ‘Let’s get these babies out.'”

Everything was ready for the little ones to be welcomed into the world. The couple even discussed about their babies’ names. They settled on Carlos Jr. for the boy and Tracey and Paisley for the two girls. They were one name short, for the fourth baby, but as they couldn’t decide, they agreed to think about it later believing they had all the time in the world.

Unfortunately, things took different turn.

Before Erica was taken to the delivery room, Carlos planted a kiss on her head and told her: “Let’s get these babies out.”

Right after giving birth, Carlos went to see his loving wife. She squeezed his hand and at that moment, equipment alarms went off and a bunch of doctors and nurses entered Erica’s room.

An hour later, they delivered the most heartbreaking news. Erica went into hypovolemic shock, an emergency condition in which severe blood or other fluid loss makes the heart unable to pump enough blood to the body, and there was nothing that could be done. The mother of four died.

Carlos couldn’t believe what he was hearing. His wife was fine, and then she wasn’t. All of a sudden, she was gone. “I went from having the best day of my life to the next morning experiencing the worst day of my life,” devastated Carlos said. “My four babies came into the world and then my wife died.”

Despite the grief and the pain he felt, he knew he needed to be strong for his four little angels. The fourth child was named Erica, after her mother.

Some time later, Carlos found a note in his late wife’s iPad. Erica wrote the things she wished for her children. She wanted them to go to college, learn both English and Spanish, and have good jobs. Today, although she’s no longer around, Carlos promised to be the best dad his children could ever wish for and do all in his power to make his late wife’s wish come true.

We wish this loving dad and his children only the best life can bring.

Mom gets closer look at son during his birthday dinner, finds out his ‘friends’ have been making him sick

It all happened when Liam, a teenage boy who once enjoyed playing soccer and hanging around with his friends, gave his cell-phone to his mother telling her he no longer needed it. That raised a red flag that things weren’t right, and there was something going on that this mother wasn’t aware of.

Things got even more concerning when Liam stopped doing the things he enjoyed. He used to love gathering with the family for lunch and knew how to enjoy good food, and now he was trying to avoid it at any cost. Riding a bike with his friends didn’t seem to make him happy any longer.

“I was determined to get to the bottom of my son’s sudden and severe dismissal of his former passions, but he was so secretive and closed off,”

says his mother Deirdre in an article for The Well.

His mother knew she had to figure out what made her son so withdrawn and reserved, and the day he told her he didn’t want to go to school any more was the day she learned the devastating truth that crushed her. Liam gathered the courage to confess that he was being bullied, and it happened every single day. They both started crying, but Liam could finally be provided with some help to get out of the situation that was draining him.

Deirdre learned that the bullying was going on for a whole year. The kids that were supposed to be her son’s friends were calling him names, telling him he sucked at soccer, and were constantly pushing him and kicking him, and they even told him to kill himself. How could teenage boys be so brutal?

This mother knew she had to get her son out of that situation as fast as she could, because the effect it had on him was beyond traumatic and destructive. The poor boy ended up being placed on feeding tube and heart monitor for his eating disorder, while the school authorities didn’t do anything to prevent the bullying. The parents of the bullies didn’t take responsibility either. Deirdre’s son was suffering a great deal, and no one was held accountable, and that made her angry.

Not only this mother was worried sick for her son’s health, but she felt helpless for not being able to help him. “I felt like I needed to shout Liam’s story from the rooftops,” Deirdre said. And so she shouted it from the biggest platform she could find: social media.

“The words just fell out of me. It was cathartic. I read it over and over to myself and hit send.”

Liam’s story went viral and people from all over the world could learn of the catastrophic effect of bullying and how serious of an issue it is. The biggest problem is that it’s there, and it’s real, and many children experience it on a daily basis, while many schools don’t want to admit it. It seemed that sharing the story was the right thing to do because many people were encouraged to share their own experiences, and it helped Liam learn he wasn’t the only one going through it. People created the hashtag #WeStandWithLiam and made shirts, ribbons, and bumper stickers in support of Liam and anty-bullying. This support was a great start to his recovery.

The process of recovery took ten weeks. Liam endured depression, eating disorder, and many treatments, but it finally helped him overcome his ordeal. This brave teenager did something stunning. He got back to his original school and even finished out the soccer season. His parents are extremely proud of their son’s courage and self-confidence. He is indeed a very special young man.

Liam’s story and everything he went through encouraged other teenagers and younger kids to confess they were experiencing bullying as well, which is the first step of solving the problem. We hope stories like this will also touch the hearts of those who bully others and help them learn the devastating consequences their behavior has on their peers and friends.

Passengers on cruise ship where woman jumped to her death ask from Carnival to pay

The incident involving a woman who was being detained aboard a Carnival cruise ship shortly before she reportedly jumped overboard from her balcony and vanished in the Gulf of Mexico disturbed the passengers and the wide public.

There is still a lot of mystery surrounding the chaos that preceded the tragic jumping as witnesses say the woman had some sort of altercation with another man in one of the ship’s hot tubs after which the security was alerted. They put handcuffs of the woman, who was described as a 32-year-old African American who was taking the cruise with her husband. When she jumped over the rail, security was attempting to take her into custody but she managed to get away from them.

“Security got her out of the hot tub. Whenever they got to take her into custody, apparently she was upset and went over the rail,” one of the passengers said.

Other witnesses claim that the woman in question was causing trouble the entire time during the 76-hour journey from Cozumel, Mexico, to New Orleans.

Allegedly, when she jumped, she was still handcuffed and she appeared to hit a rail and possibly a lifeboat on the way down.

The search for her lasted for around 14 hours. The decision to suspend a search-and-rescue case is never one we come to lightly,” said Chief Warrant Officer Tricia Eldredge, command duty officer at sector New Orleans. “We offer our deepest sympathies to the family during this difficult time.” Later, however, NBC Miami has reported that her lifeless body was reportedly found.

The passenger who were on the cruise on that fatal day claim they were left deeply disturbed and traumatized. What was supposed to be an enjoyable experience for them turned into a chaotic event so they are now asking Carnival for some sort of compensation, in the form of payment or another cruise, for the trauma they were forced to go through.

The company hasn’t made any statements in regards to these requests.

Having regrets about things we did wrong and for things we didn’t have the courage to undertake is simply part of humans’ nature. Sometimes, life gives us second chances to try and make things right, other times, we are forced to live with our regrets and feel sorry for the lost opportunities and possibilities.

Have you ever wondered what is that people like you and I regret the most?

Bronnie Ware, a nurse who has spent most of her life in palliative care and saw many of her patients leave this world just in front of her eyes shares the top five regrets of people who are aware their time has come to say that final goodbye.

In the book “The Top Five Regrets of the Dying: A Life Transformed by the Dearly Departing” she wrote: “My patients were those who had gone home to die. Some incredibly special times were shared. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives. For many years I worked in palliative care…”

She then goes on to list the regrets.

1. “I Wish I had the Courage to Live a Life True to Myself and Not for Others”

During the last days of their life, many people put all their thoughts on the things they left undone. Reflecting on their past actions is common and with that comes the regret of not living the life they wanted for themselves because of the thought what others would say.

“Most people had not honored even half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made or not made,” Ware writes.

This should serve as a reminder that we should never give up on our goals and dreams for the sake of others.

2.“I Wish I hadn’t Worked so Hard”

The hectic schedules imposed by the job we do can often lead to failing to spend enough quality time with our family and friends. Working hard to achieve success, fame, and make money can easily lead to feeling incomplete spiritually and missing on some important events.

3.“I wish I had the Courage to express my Feelings”

Having the courage to express our feelings and be honest with others is something not many people possess. Often times, we decide to stay silent for the sake of not letting other people feel bad because of how we feel about them and their actions. However, as we don’t want them to feel uncomfortable, it is us who suffer because of the things left unspoken and the feelings left unshared.

Also, we sometimes feel ashamed to tell our family and friends how much we love them and how much they mean to us.

According to Ware, this is something a lot of people regret.

4.“I Wish I had stayed in Touch with my Friends”

As days pass by, our priorities change. However, one thing we should never allow to happen is to get distant from the people who once meant the world to us. According to Ware, she has witnessed people regret not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved.

“Often they would not truly realize the full benefits of friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down,” she wrote.

5. “I Wish I had let myself be Happier”

What most of us need to understand is that happiness is a choice.

“Fear of change had them pretending to others and to their selves that they were content, when deep within, they longed to laugh properly,” Ware wrote of many of her dying patients. We should never let fear stand on our way to feel happy and do the things that make us content.

“In the end we only regret the chances we didn’t take!”

Man loses pulse for 45 minutes, wakes up, and shares this spine-chilling vision of afterlife

Many religions believe in the soul’s existence in another world. According to them, what we will experience once we leave this world is a consequence of our conduct during life.

If we do good, we will see Heaven, if not, the Hell awaits us. Of course, this isn’t something everyone is convinced is true and the truth is that we will never know for sure what happens to our soul after we die.

The hot topic of life after death has been around for so long, and people still have divided opinions about it.

The thought of dying is a scary one, but we are all aware that it is something inevitable. I believe that people convince themselves in the existence of afterlife because that helps accept the concept of death.

The truth is that there are plenty of stories shared by people who were pronounced dead but then regained their consciousness and had their puls back. Most of them describe dying in the same manner. According to them, Heaven does exist, and it is breathtaking beyond words.

Brian Miller, a man from Ohio, was 41 years old when he experienced severe pressure in the chest after trying to open a container lid. He was aware he would suffer a heart attack and called the ambulance mere seconds before the heart attack took place.

Once at the hospital, doctors managed to clear his artery blockage and he was able to regain consciousness. Unfortunately, he then developed ventricular fibrillation, a condition where the heart doesn’t pump blood to the rest of the body.

What happened next was described by one of the nurses at the ICU, Emily Bishop, who said, “he had no heart rate, he had no blood pressure, he had no pulse.” The strong and fast CPR didn’t help, and neither did the electric shocks doctors performed on his four times.

Brian was pronounced dead. And then, some 45 minutes later, to the disbelief of everyone, he got back to life.

Speaking of his out of this world experience, Brian said it was “edenic” bliss in a celestial world. “The only thing I remember I started seeing the light, and started walking toward the light,” he was reported to have said.

As he walked down the path covered in flowers, he saw his late step-mother who took him by his hands and said: “It’s not your time, you don’t need to be here, we have got to take you back you have got things to go and do.”

It still remains a mystery how he came back to life after his brain was left without oxygen for so long.

Man captures glowing figure shining through clouds – Many say it looks like Christ the Redeemer

Whether one is a religious person or not, there are those occurrences and encounters that we experience in life which we know are part of something bigger.

To have faith in God means not to question the things that take place and the temptations that sometimes come along the way.

A man named Alfredo Lo Brutto from Italy shared a photo recently of a figure made in the sky which resembles the statue of Christ the Redeemer placed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This magnificent statue is 30 meters high and is one of the largest statues of Jesus as well as the tallest art deco statue in the world.

When Alfredo posted the enchanting photo which was taken over the Tyrrhenian sea, it somehow caused a stir. Some agree the figure is divine and a sign by God and others say it’s just the clouds and the sun penetrating through them.

It is not the first time people to have different opinions of photos that emerge online, and this time, there is a fair share of people on both sides.

“I was enchanted by the view. I don’t often share pictures on social media, but when I took this one, I instantly felt like I wanted other people to see it, because it was so beautiful,” Alfredo told Daily Mail.

Even if you don’t see Jesus here, what we all have to agree with is that this photo is special because it shows the beauty of the world that surrounds us.

The Marley and Me actor Owen Wilson has played the role of a perfect father in many of his movies, but in his real life, he’s not even close to what he portrays on-screen when it comes to his youngest child. He has three children, two sons and a daughter, and while he is always there for his boys, he has never met his little girl.

Lyla Aranya Wilson was born in 2018. Her mother Varunie Vongsvirates and Wilson were in an on-and-off relationship for five years and were still dating at the time Vongsvirates got pregnant. Knowing how close Wilson was with his sons, Vongsvirates was reported saying how he would be the perfect father to their girl, but that not what happened.

Many media outlets reported how the first thing the actor did when he learned he was going to be a dad again was changing numbers. He never spoke to Vongsvirates again and asked for a paternity test which showed he was indeed Lyla’s father. However, that didn’t change anything at all as Wilson still refused to see the girl whom her mom says resembles him a lot. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, just like her dad.

Vongsvirates’ mother passed away when she was still very young and she knows how hard it is to grow up with just one parent. She doesn’t want her daughter to experience the same thing, but as it looks, she will have to, as her father isn’t interested in having anything with her.

Vongsvirates shared a photo of her little girl to congratulate her on her third birthday. “Happy 3rd birthday to my wild child! I love you so much!!!!” she wrote. On the photo, sweet Layla is wearing a beige top that reads, ‘Love will win.’

One of his representatives addressed reports of Wilson relinquishing custody, saying, “This is a private matter and it’s not appropriate to comment further.”

‘Give her a call’ – Keanu Reeves went out of his way to make the day of an 80-year-old fan

Wholesome celebrities exist in the form of Keanu Reeves, one of the most grounded men the world has ever seen. The Matrix star is unlike any other Hollywood celebrity, that’s for sure. He is known for his heart of gold and all those charity projects he funds. Where there is need of help, there is Keanu. This man is so humble that he opts for a simple life, like that of the ordinary people.

It’s not a secret that he shared millions of dollars with the set and the special effects crew who worked along with him on the Matrix movies.

His generosity can’t be compared to any other, especially because he does more of his kindness secretly, without the need to be praised for it.

One of his kind deeds that we recently heard of made us love him even more, if that’s even possible. Namely, he learned of an 80 year old fan who has seen each and every movie he has ever starred in, so Keanu being Keanu, he decided to give her a call and make her day.

The heartwarming gesture was shared online by the fan’s granddaughter who thanked the actor for his heart of gold.

My grandmother had a crush on Keanu Reeves because he reminded her of my grandfather when he was young. Saw all his stuff, from Bill and Ted to the Matrix. She had a stroke in her early 70s and was pretty much housebound for the last 10 years of her life, so watching movies was her main hobby, and became almost like friends to her because she so rarely got to see any of her own.

“Not too long after the Matrix came out my uncle was in LA for business and was eating at a swanky restaurant when Keanu Reeves came in with a woman.

“When he finished his meal my uncle came up to their table and said ‘I don’t usually do this, but I just wanted you to know that my 80-year-old mother loves you and has seen all of your movies. You remind her of my dad.’

“He said Keanu asked if he had a cell phone on him and when he confirmed that he did, he said ‘Give her a call, I want to talk to her.’ He spoke with my grandmother for several minutes and it made her year. She was so isolated and his genuine kindness to her and interest in her showed what a truly amazing man he is.”

Keanu Reeves makes this world a much more beautiful place.

Awful news for Sylvester Stallone as he pays tribute to friend

James Caan, the star of “The Godfather” “Elf” and “Misery,” died earlier this month. The Twitter post announcing his passing read: “It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Jimmy on the evening of July 6. The family appreciates the outpouring of love and heartfelt condolences and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time. End of tweet.”

At the time the news spread around, the cause of death was scarce aside from the family’s statement.

According to his death certificate, Caan died at 9:02 PM at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. His resting place is at Eden Memorial Park.

It has now been revealed that the cause of death of the 82-year-old actor was a heart attack and coronary artery disease.

As the world and his fans mourned his death, a number of celebrities took to the social media to express their condolences. Among them was actor Sylvester Stallone, a great friend of Caan.

He paid tribute to Cann writing, “I will miss my good friend and great actor, James Caan! Tough, Smart, a man’s man. One of a kind!”

Some two years ago, Stallone lost his mother Jackie Stallone, an American astrologer, dancer, and wrestling promoter. She was a celeb in her own right. At the time of her death, she was 98 years old. The news of her passing was shared by Sylvester Stallone’s brother, Frank, who wrote that Jackie died in her sleep.

His ful message read, “At the beginning of today my siblings and I lost our mom Jackie Stallone. She was the mother to four youngsters, Tommy, Sylvester, Frankie and my late sister Toni Ann. She was an exceptional lady working out ordinary brimming with spirit and courageous. She kicked the bucket in her rest as she had wished. It was hard not to like her, she was unconventional and showy individual. She was conceived on November 29 th 1921 in Washington DC, she survived disallowance, the downturn and World War II.”

We are very sorry for James Caan’s passing. May he rest in peace.

74 years ago she was kicked out for loving a black man–today, their love lives on

Every love story is beautiful in its own way, but some are so special that they serve as a reminder that we should never stop fighting for true love.

When Mary and Jake met back in the 1940’s, interracial relationships were considered taboo. Their love for one another was considered a sin and they felt like it was the two of them against the entire world. Mary was white and Jack was black, something her parents never accepted. However, no matter the obstacles that stood on their way, the two lived to witness their love being celebrated.

Unfortunately, Jake passed away in 2019, and Mary left this world a year later. The story of their forbidden, but beautiful love, however, continues to live on.

Jake, who was from Trinidad, was serving in the United Kingdom during the WWII, and Mary was from Britain. That was when they first laid eyes on each other and fell in love instantly.

“I met Jake when he came over during the war from Trinidad, as part of the American forces stationed at the Burtonwood base near my home in Lancashire. We were at the same technical college. I was having typing and shorthand lessons and he’d been sent there for training by the Air Force. He was with a group of Black friends and they called my friend and me over to talk. We didn’t even know they spoke English, but Jake and I got chatting. He quoted Shakespeare to me, which I loved,” Mary said in a 2016 interview.

One day, Jake’s friends invited Mary and her friends to join them to a picnic and that’s when a friend of Mary’s parents spotted them. She was shocked to see Mary in the company of Jake so she rushed to tell Mary’s father about that. When he learned his daughter was hanging out with a black man, he forbade her from seeing him. The two, however, didn’t split ways.

Once the war was over, Jake was forced to return to his homeland, but he and Mary stayed in touch through letters until he came back to Britain again a few years later and popped the question. “He asked me to marry him, quite out of the blue, when I was only 19,” Mary said. “When I told my father I was going to marry Jake he said, ‘If you marry that man you will never set foot in this house again.’ He was horrified that I could contemplate marrying a Black man.”

“My father threw me out, and I left with only one small suitcase to my name. No family came to our register office wedding in 1948,” Mary added. “The first years of our marriage living in Birmingham were hell—I cried every day, and barely ate. No one would speak to us, we couldn’t find anywhere to live because no one would rent to a Black man, and we had no money.”

At the beginning, people would stare and make mean comments, but over time, things started changing. “But gradually life became easier. I got teaching jobs, ending up as a deputy headteacher. First Jake worked in a factory, then for the Post Office.”

Eventually, they made friends who accepted their relationship, but there was always fear present that they would judge them for the love they felt for one another.

“I used to say to new friends: ‘Look, I have to tell you this before I invite you to my home—my husband is Black,’” Mary said.

Before Mary’s father passed away, they reconnected, but he never approved of her marriage.

“I feel so fortunate to have met and married Mary,” said Jake “but it saddens me that we could not be accepted by society. Nowadays I say to young Black people: ‘You have no idea what it used to be like.’ When I arrived in the UK I was subjected to abuse every day. Once I was on a bus and a man rubbed his hands on my neck and said: ‘I wanted to see if the dirt would come off.’ And back then you couldn’t work in an office — because a Black man in an office with all the white girls wasn’t thought to be safe.”

In April 2019, Jake and Mary celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary. Some time later, Jake passed away, leaving his wife behind. Then, in 2020, Mary left this world as well. The two are no longer alive, but their love story continues to live on.

Mother turns teenage son in to police after stumbling upon notebook with plans for a school shooting

How far is a mother willing to go for the well-being of her child? No one can answer this with certainty because mother’s love knows no boundaries.

Recently, Nichole Schubert shared with GMA the heartbreaking decision she made to report her then 17-year-old son to the police after she stumbled upon his notebook which contained detailed plans for a mass shooting he was planning to do in 2019.

This mother’s heart was shattered into a million pieces. According to her, her son’s plan was to kill her first and then start a mass shooting at the Washington high school that he attended.

“Your first instinct as a parent is to protect your child,” she told Good Morning America. “But at that point I felt like if he is actually going to do these things, he would be safer in jail.”

Speaking of the moment she learned of her son’s gruesome plan, Nichole said, “It was very descriptive. It was just heartbreaking.”

In order to protect her son and the number of lives he intended to claim, Nichole allerted the police and asked for help.

“It wasn’t just about me and him at that point, it was about a whole school.”

This mom told the police how she believed her son’s intentions were serious because she believed he made what resembled a pipe bomb all by himself.

Her son, who initially claimed that the journal writings were a fantasy and not a real plan, was arrested and pleaded guilty to a felony charge for threatening to bomb or injure property and misdemeanors for harassment. He underwent a mental evaluation and completed a rehabilitation program and community service.

Nichole wants to raise awareness and remind every parent out there to pay close attention to their children’s actions.

“Stay in their business. Even if they don’t like it. They’re not going to like it. But as parents, it’s our job to know what our kids are doing,” she said. “Just be aware and watch for signs. Kids will normally tell you by their actions when something is wrong.”

“Obviously, we can’t control our children’s actions all the time. Who can? But there are signs that something’s not right, something’s, you know, why is he acting weird? Why? Why is he so to himself?” she continued. “I was in his room, you know? What are you doing? Where are you going? All the time. And he hated it. But he’s alive. And everyone’s alive and he’s not in jail.”

She says she doesn’t regret her decision to report her son to the authorities because that decision helped save many lives.

GOP congressman claims President Biden is “mentally unstable”

During the presidential campaign, after which Joe Biden was elected a new POTUS, his opponent, Donald Trump, questioned Biden’s mental state and claimed he was way too old to be able to run the country. At the same time, he bragged about scoring great results on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), a test which can show signs of mild Alzheimer’s disease, and challenged Biden to take the test.

Now, other members of the Congress are raising the question of President Biden’s age and his ability to run the country. Among them is the youngest member of Congress, North Carolina Republican Representative Madison Cawthorn. According to Yahoo, Cawthorn labeled the President as “mentally unstable” and said he should be hold accountable for “putting America in reverse.”

“You know, I would love to have a congressional inquiry to understand exactly what Joe Biden’s reasoning is, but unfortunately I don’t think he could find his way to Congress.”

Cawthorn didn’t hold back his opinion of the First Lady either saying she is “so cruel to her husband” and that she should be indicted.

“I’m not saying indict in terms of criminal, but I’m saying that we should call her out for being so cruel to her husband,” Cawthorn said.

“The man is clearly mentally unstable. He’s having some form of degradation of his mind and they are putting him up there to be assaulted by the greatest debater the country has to go against him,” Cawthorn said and claimed that President Biden isn’t the one who is truly in charge of the country.

“You know, as much as I’d love to question Joe Biden, I really want to question whoever is really calling the shots right now, because I don’t think Congress or the American people truly know who’s behind the scenes pulling the strings of Joe Biden,” he said as reported by Yahoo.

Former White House physician Ronny Jackson, who is now a Republican US representative from Texas, has also spoken his mind regarding the President’s ability to run the country. Last month, he, along with 14 other Republicans, signed a letter calling on President Biden to take a cognitive test in order to show that he’s mentally capable of leading the country.

“I think he’s demonstrating every single day that there is something going on,” Jackson said. “You don’t need to be a physician to look at this behavior and see there’s something concerning happening. I’m just asking them, when you do the physical exam, include the cognitive assessment,” he added.

“As far as I’m concerned the standard precedent has been set and they need to follow and do the same.”

The claims that President Biden is mentally unfit haven’t been backed up by any evidence by the representatives who are attacking him.

The beauty standards are way too high in today’s world. Many people, especially women, feel the pressure to always look flawless, even if that means going through very strict diets, undergoing different surgical procedures, applying fillers and botox, and a lot more.

Looking at the celebrities and the models on the covers of prestigious magazines, we believe that we should look the same, often forgetting that these people have plenty of money to spare and a huge number of professionals who take care of their looks.

In recent years, some celebrities tend to promote natural beauty as a way of life as they are fed up with all the makeup, the botox, and the need to always look flawless. Among them is the Eat, Pray, Love star Julia Roberts.

Just recently, she revealed ‘the naked truth’ in a post she shared both on Facebook and Instagram, and which had been deleted shortly after because of some reason. Luckily, someone took a screenshot and now the photo is going viral.

“Perfection is a disease of a nation. We overlay our faces with tons of make-up. We get botoxs and even starve ourselves to become that perfect size. We try to fix something but you can’t fix what you can’t see. It’s the soul that needs the surgery. It’s time that we take a stand. How can you expect someone else to love you if you don’t love yourself? You have to be happy with yourself. It doesn’t matter what you look like on the outside, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Today, I want to put up a makeup-free photo. I know I have wrinkles on my skin but today I want you to see beyond that. I want to embrace the real me and I want you to embrace who you are, the way you are, and love yourself just the way you are,” the actress wrote.

The beauty industry is getting stronger with each passing year. According to reports, the global beauty industry market is valued at $511 billion in 2021.

There’s nothing wrong with a person wanting to feel good about the way they look on the outside, but it looks like that on the way of achieving physical perfection, we forget of the importance of our inner beauty.

Soap actress Marnie Schulenburg from ‘As the World Turns’ and ‘One Life to Live’ dead at 37

Actress Marnie Schulenburg, best known who for the roles of Alison Stewart on “As the World Turns” and Jo Sullivan on the “One Life to Live” reboot, has died of metastatic breast cancer. She was 37. The news was confirmed by her manager Kyle Luker.

Before she was diagnosed with cancer, in May 2020, Marnie and her husband, actor Zack Robidas, who plays on HBO’s “Succession,” welcomed their daughter Coda. Marnie first opened up about her diagnosis in December 2020 for the Soaps site and later on through her Instagram account where she documented her journey, from becoming a mom to being diagnosed, as well as her fight against the disease.

“On the eve of my 36th birthday, instead of searching for a place to drink multiple Bloody Marys (my birthdays always involve Bloody Marys, boats and lobster, not in any particular order), I was repeating the same question over and over again in my head: “How does one celebrate a birthday with a new baby in the middle of a global pandemic while coming to terms with a Stage IV, metastatic, borderline triple negative inflammatory breast cancer diagnosis?'” she wrote.

Marnie passed away on May 17 2022, just four days before what was supposed to be her 38th birthday.

As many magazines made headlines which wrote that Marnie ‘lost her battle to cancer,’ her husband Zach said he didn’t want people to say that of his late wife, because she fought hard and with grace, and she never gave up fighting.

“Please don’t say Marnie lost her battle to cancer. It’s simply not true. I watched her kick cancer’s ass everyday since diagnosis,” he said. “She is incredible. We chose to attack her diagnosis with blind optimism. We only talked about the future and continued moving forward. I don’t know if this was right but it’s all we knew how to do.”

Not long before her passing, the Daytime-Emmy nominated actress shared a bittersweet post on Instagram for Mother’s Day saying she was allowed to go home, but with an oxygen machine.

“I want to be strong and beautiful for her. I want to show her how to move throughout this world with compassion, strength, vivacity, humor and joy like my Mother showed me,” Marnie started her post.

“My chances of sticking around her better each month that goes by. So here’s to remembering that nothing is permanent. To soaking up the imperfections and that the best thing you can do for your child is make them feel loved, safe and supported just like my mother did for me. Screw the oxygen mask, just remember how to breathe.”

Boris Johnson married wife Carrie in secret after two failed marriages –inside his turbulent love life

Boris Johnson resigned from the position of UK’s Prime Minister as one Conservative Party member after another voiced their lack of confidence in him leading the country. In his speech, Johnson said that he was “sad to be giving up the best job in the world,” but conceded that “no one is remotely indispensable” in politics. He then thanked his wife and children, the National Health Service, armed forces and Downing Street staff, but above all, he thanked the British people.

Johnson’s rule was followed by numerous scandals, including the infamous “Partygate,” where he was fined for breaking his own COVID-19 lockdown rules after attending a gathering on his birthday in June 2020. While being the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson oversaw his country’s exit from the European Union.

Born in New York City, where he spent the first year of his life, Johnson has two passports. He was welcomed into the world when his father moved to the States pursuing a career as a creative writer. The family moved quite a lot. Speaking of it, Johnson told Simon Parke:

“I had an immensely lucky upbringing – it would be madness to deny that. I’ve been attended by every possible privilege that the English system can provide.

“I had a wonderful, happy childhood and then quite a cosmopolitan education all over the world, in Washington and Brussels and then briefly at an English prep school, which kind of tee’d me up for Eton. I suppose in Marxist terms, I am a product of the English Haute bourgeoisie – though actually my antecedents are very diverse, and many of them are not from this country – and many are not particularly well off or whatever.”

The boarding school changed him a lot. He was no longer the shy, unremarkable child, but instead, he turned “fully-fledged school celebrity,” as Sonia Purnell, author of the biography, Just Boris writes. After attending Balliol College in Oxford, Johnson pursued a career as a journalist. His first job was a trainee journalist at the Wolverhampton Express & Star. His career moved on very quickly but it was filled with numerous scandals throughout the years.

Jon Griffin, Johnson’s boss during the Wolverhampton days, spoke of him as of a “slightly shambling, friendly, endearingly unkempt character who wore a brown overcoat and a constant semi-grin.”

During his days at Times, Johnson got involved in the one of many scandals after he was found to had fabricated quotes from his godfather, Colin Lucas, a historian. Johnson used those quotes in an attempt to speculate about Edward II’s supposed lover, Piers Gaveston, and turn it into a front-page news story.

Johnson then worked at Telegraf and The Spectator.

As he appeared on numerous TV programs, Boris Johnson became one of the most respected politicians and that led to his election as a member of Parliament in 2001 and was re-elected four years later. In 2008, he became the Mayor of London. Finally, he became UK’s Prime Minister, taking over from Theresa May.

It is now not certain what he will do next, but one thing that is certain is that he would spend more time with his family.

When it comes to his private life, it’s safe to say that it is filled with sandals and affairs, just like his life in politics.

Johnson has been married three times. He and his first wife, cover girl and socialite Allegra Mostyn-Owen, tied the knot back in 1987 when they were both 23 years old. The marriage ended after it was revealed that he had an affair with his childhood friend Marina Wheeler. Marina gave birth to her and Johnson’s first child mere days after his divorce with Allegra was finalized.

Johnson’s second marriage ended after 25 years, again because he was involved in a number of love affairs with many women. Rumors were that he had an affair with fellow journalist Petronella Wyatt while he was her editor in 2004, but he denied the rumors.

Other women he was related to were journalist Anna Fazackerley, art consultant Helen Macintyre, who had given birth to Johnson’s child in 2009, and Jennifer Arcuri.

Jennifer confessed that she and Johnson were romantically involved and it lasted for years.

“The truth is, with men – this isn’t to excuse them – you have to know the beast,” she told Mirror. “This is who he is. You’re never going to change him, you’re never going to make him want what you want just because you want it.

“I’m not a victim. I’m not losing sleep over this any more. But it says a lot about the character of the man.”

Johnson married his third wife, Carrie Johnson, who is 24 years his junior, in 2020 in a secret ceremony. They now have two children together.

What we know of Carrie is that she worked as a press officer for the Conservative Party and a Special Advisor to two Secretaries of State. She became the Head of Communications for the Conservative Party, while also working for ocean conservation charity Oceana, at the age of 29.

Mom gave birth through a caesarean section, but her stomach started shaking

Giving birth is a miraculous process all by itself and every mother out there has her worries and wonders if her child would be delivered safely.

A woman from Jordan, 36-year-old Hanan Mahmoud Abdul Karim, gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The delivery took place at a private hospital in the capital of the country, Amman. She couldn’t wait to hold her bundle of joy and spend all the time by his side.

Unfortunately, shortly after she was released from hospital, she started experiencing excruciating pain. She claimed that she could feel something vibrating inside her stomach. Hanan wasn’t able to make a single move without experiencing severe pain, as reported by the Dubai daily Gulf News, which cited Jordanian media.

Hanan’s mother, Ms. Majeda Abdul Hamid, took her daughter back to the hospital where Hanan gave birth, but doctors didn’t find anything out of the ordinary. Not knowing what to do, the family took Hanan to a state hospital. When doctors did an X-ray, they were left in complete shock. Inside the mother’s stomach there was a mobile phone. According to reports, it belonged to the gynecologists who performed the C-section on Hanan.

Hanan underwent urgent surgery and the phone was taken out of her stomach.

However, the incident gathered media attention and it led to members of parliament to demand the government to step down following this outrageous scandal. They believed that the government needed to take responsibility for what was going on in the private hospitals of the country.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health indicated that the account provided by Hanan was “groundless and falsified,” but that the ministry is closely monitoring the situation.

Woman shames officer for having lunch on duty, so he tells her about his day

Despite the fact that they often put their lives on the line for the well-being of the members of their community, many people still have negative opinion about the work of police officers.

Andre Owen, a Police Constable, shared a story of how his day went by not assuming it would attract the attention of thousands of people.

He was working a 12 hour shift the day he stopped to grab some lunch at Burger King. He hadn’t eaten in eight hours and didn’t even have the time to go to the toilet as his day was very busy and he had a lot on his plate. However, once he entered the restaurant and placed his order, a female customer gave him a dirty look. She then turned to him and made a remark because he was having lunch while wearing his uniform.

He didn’t expect something like that to happen but he didn’t want to answer back. Once he went home, he felt the urge to share the unpleasant incident on Twitter and explain what his day looked like before he even found the time to eat.

“To the lady that scorned me for buying food on duty,” Officer Owen started his post. “I’ve not stopped since 07:05 this morning, not even for a toilet break. I’m over 100 miles from my station and I’m due off in 45 minutes…with a two hour journey at least!!! #policearehumanstoo,” he wrote alongside a photo of his meal.

In no time, Owen’s post had gone viral. This 25-year-old officer, who has been working with the Sussex Police for five years, received outpouring messages of support.

UK Mirror then got in touch with him. Speaking to them, he explained more about his day and said that it was around 2 pm and he was about to finish working at 3 pm, but he still had a hundred mile journey before he could arrive at the station. There, he needed to finish some paperwork before he could go home.

“Five minutes after starting my shift, I was assigned to a serious job in Brighton. I dealt with that and then had yo drive non stop to Oxford as part of the same job, single crewed,” Owen told The Mirror. “Half and hour into the return journey, I stopped a ta service station for my first toilet stop of the day! While there, I also got a double whooper meal, apple pie, Coke and a cappuccino.”

It was then that the unknown lady decided to make an assumption that he wasn’t doing his job properly as she saw him having lunch while on duty.

He recalled her exact words were, “While you’re in here stuffing your face, there’s criminals that need catching out there.” He, however, just smiled and didn’t say a single word.

He then explained that his tweet in which he described what had happened wasn’t intended for sympathy. Instead, he wanted more people to realize that what officers do each and every day isn’t that easy.

On the way to the station, he stumbled upon a broken car and stopped to make sure the family inside the vehicle get the help they needed. He finally finished his shift at 7 pm.

“While it’s long, and the lady annoyed me at the time, I love my job and on the whole, wouldn’t change it for the world,” PC Andre Owen said.

We are very thankful to our police officers for everything they do on a daily basis. Without them, our communities won’t feel like the safe places they are.

Before Erica was taken to the delivery room, Carlos planted a kiss on her head and told her: “Let’s get these babies out.”

The hot topic of life after death has been around for so long, and people still have divided opinions about it.

Marnie passed away on May 17 2022, just four days before what was supposed to be her 38th birthday.

Jennifer confessed that she and Johnson were romantically involved and it lasted for years.
