When the McNally family opened the doors to their hearts and their home to a Pit Bull mix named Duk, little did they know the decision would have a huge impact on their life.
The moment the dog entered the house everyone was overjoyed as they all knew they got themselves a best friend for life. This was especially true for the child, 5-year-old Robert, who enjoyed spending every minute of every day by Duke’s side. The two loved being outdoors hiking and having fun in the mountains.
One day, during such a trip into the woods, the family decided to take a short break before getting to the cabin. At one moment, as Robert’s dad and his husband were resting under a tree, they saw Duke running towards Robert at full speed and knocking him to the ground. Unaware of what was going on, they rushed towards the boy believing Duke was trying to hurt him.
But then, they realized that the faithful dog saved Robert’s life.
Duke noticed a snake approaching and rushed to his human brother to prevent the snake from biting him. Sadly, it was Duke who got bitten, instead.
Fearing for the dog’s life, Robert took him to the hospital as soon as possible. Luckily, the poison didn’t get too far into his body. Duke received medications and started feeling fine.
“Without Duke, Robert would have undoubtedly been bitten by the snake, and the likelihood of death is quite high. Duke’s life is a blessing in our eyes because of his selfless deed. Although he is aware of our deep affection for him, we will now be much more connected,” the dad said.
Next time they go hiking, they will be more cautious and will not leave Robert out of sight.
If it wasn’t for Duke, Robert could easily get bitten and die, but he was lucky to have someone as brave as his dog by his side.
This story is yet another proof of how special and loving Pit Bulls are. It is extremely sad that people perceive them as vicious and unfriendly.

People often speak of the importance of embracing natural beauty, but when some decide to do that for real, they are often judged and called names.
Chances are you have already heard of Edina Jaganjac, a woman from Denmark who has decided to stop shaving her unibrow and her mustache. Her appearance, which many find uncommon for a woman, caused quite a stir on the social media after she posted photos of herself and her natural look online.
The reason behind this decision is that Edina became wary of the world’s expectations on females, especially when it comes to removing their facial hair. Also, she realized that man need much less time to get ready as they spend insignificant amount of time caring for their body hair and how thick or overgrown it is.
She admits that the choices she has made with her body and facial hair are not for anyone but herself, contrary to what the media may believe.

Speaking to Tyla, this 31-year-old instructor says she does some trolling from teens online and comments in the street from men. Some tell her to ‘pluck that’ and others say her unibrow resembles a ‘third head.’
Edina, however, doesn’t let these mean comments affect the way she feels about herself, and that’s very confident.
“I’ve chosen to concentrate on the tasks and objectives that I have to do and less on how I come across while doing them and whether people like me or not, because I probably won’t see them again, and if I do, I still don’t care,” she said.

According to her, her new looks helps her get rid of judgmental people and ‘weed out’ any conservative potential partners.
“I don’t care what people think. I don’t want it to become this big thing — no pun intended — but it’s a personal choice for everyone to make themselves, and I wish that people wouldn’t care no matter how a woman chooses to look,” she shared.
“Before I let my unibrow grow out, I did feel like there were extremely limited options to how women were supposed to look.
“If a man doesn’t shave and doesn’t pluck his eyebrows, no one notices or comments and it’s nothing out of the ordinary.
“Just like many other women, I have learned to police myself. For instance, I used to not feel comfortable going outside unless my eyebrows were the accepted small size, and I wouldn’t go to the gym unless my legs were clean shaven.”

The future Queen has fond memories of her student days at the University of St. Andrew’s in Scotland. In fact, it was then that she and William met and started dating.
“I actually went bright red when I met you and scuttled off feeling very shy about meeting you,” she recalled of the first meeting with her future husband.

According to the documentary The Day Will and Kate Got Married, which aired in April 2021, the two were just good friends at the beginning but one night changed it all. During a student fashion show, Kate wore a sheer dress that wooed the Prince, and the rest is history.
“A switch had been flicked, he suddenly saw her in a different light, and I really believe that was the turning point in their relationship,” Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent, Katie Nicholl, said in the documentary.

According to Amy Bates, a hair-and-makeup artist, the Princess of Wales follows certain beauty regime which helps her stay youthful.
“In her younger years, Kate’s brows were thin and heavily plucked but now they are growing back thicker,” Bates told The Sun. “I imagine a specialist has helped her using a technique such as HD Brows, where the natural brows are tinted and shaped.”
The expert further said that in the past, Kate used thick eyeliner, and over time, she switched to a softer and lighter shade, which in general helps women look younger.
According to Bales, Kate helps add to her appearance by wearing a more laid-back hairstyle that shows off her bone structure. Having the hair high, the way Kate wore it for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, can take “years off you.”

Another expert, physiotherapist Sammy Margo, believes that how old or young someone appears to be has a lot to do with their posture.
And when it comes to Kate, Margo says, “If you look at photos from a decade ago compared to now, she is standing taller than before and holding herself much better. This gives her a very pleasant allure and makes her appear younger than 40.
“We often see photos of her standing or sitting at events. She never slumps,” Margo added. “When you are sitting or standing, you are still working your muscles. Kate is clearly making an effort to engage her muscles during the day.”

Sahar Tabar, self-proclaimed Angelina Jolie lookalike, has caused quite a stir on the social media from the moment she started posting photos of herself, claiming she had undergone 50 surgeries to look like the Hollywood star.
Her Instagram account has attracted over 480,000 followers who dubbed her ‘zombie’ and ‘corpse bride’ because of her eccentric appearance.
Later, however, Tabar confessed the number of surgeries she allegedly had was exaggerated and that most of her photos were photoshopped. Asked why she portrayed herself with a grayish skin color, excessively big lips, and highlighted cheekbones, she said she was just having fun.
In an interview with Sputnik, she said, “Now I can see that I have something in common with her [Angelina Jolie], but I amuse myself, and to look like someone is not my goal.
“Over time I post a photo, I make my face more fun and funny, it is a form of self-expression, a kind of art. My fans know that this is not my real face,” she added.
However, her appearance not only didn’t go unnoticed by millions, but it put her in big trouble.
Living in Iran, where rules of the way women look like and dress are strict, Tabar was accused of blasphemy, inciting violence, gaining income through inappropriate means and encouraging youths to corruption. Her lawyer claimed she had later been cleared of two of the four charges against her, but did not want to comment further as Tabar was still hoping for a pardon. Instead, she was sentenced to 10 years in jail.
At one point, she called on Angelina Jolie, who she is a big fan of, to campaign for her release, saying: “The Islamic Republic has a history of tormenting women. We need to be united against this gender apartheid.”
When she went public and expressed remorse, her speech triggered sympathy. Medical records showed that at the time she was jailed, Tabar suffered from mental illness.
Shortly after being sent to prison, it was reported that she was allegedly bailed.
The truth is that without excessive makeup on, Tabar still looks like a normal person to some extent.

Riona Kelly and her husband were happily married for 14 years, or at least she thought so.
A one point in her life, this mother of two suffered a stoke which left her paralyzed from the waist down. Chances that she could ever walk again were poor, but doctors believed that over time, she could again stand on her feet with the help of exercises and a strong will.
Sadly, her husband wasn’t willing to support her during the process. Instead, he decided to leave her for good.
That broke Riona’s heart. However, as time passed by, she realized that having someone in her life as selfish as her ex-husband wasn’t what she wished for. She now knew that she didn’t need him anymore.
Riona started therapy with Keith, a personal assistant who was about to help her get her old life back.
The two spent much time together, and eventually fell in love with each other. Her determination to get on her feet again and to never give up inspired Keith.
He was there for her through her tough times and helped her overcome them.
Eventually, she recovered and the two are still together. Her kids love Keith and they even refer to him as to their dad.
Not even in her wildest dreams did this woman believe that a tragedy could lead to finding the love of her life.

As one door closed for the British Royals following the passing of Queen Elizabeth, another, subsequently opened.
Now that Charles became King of the United Kingdom and the 14 Commonwealth realms, after waiting for many years, he is quick to take things under his control together with his wife Camilla who was awarded the title Queen Consort, as the late Queen wished.
The Queen’s passing wasn’t just a moment of profound grief, but one of unification of the British people who mourn their monarch’s passing each in their own way.
Not only Queen Elizabeth reigned for 70 years, more than any other ruler in the history of the United Kingdom, but she became a motherly, and later a grandmotherly figure and a link between the old days and the modern British history. Under her rule, the country has gone through social changes and saw many ups and down, all of which Her Majesty handled with dignity and wisdom.

As the lives of the royals are slowly but steadily returning to normal, Charles and Camilla have their hands full. They are constantly engaged in a number of royal events, which sadly means stepping down from some of King’s charitable work.
One particular ‘issue’ that needs to be resolved is of course that of the shaky relationship between the King and his younger son, Prince Harry.

And as everyone’s eyes are on the members of the Firm, it has been revealed that Harry will be releasing a memoir later this year, and many expect his book to address issue that have long been kept behind closed doors. What this would mean for the already stormy relationship between Harry and his family is yet to be seen.
Besides Harry, it was his wife Meghan who was pretty vocal when it came to criticizing the royals. Accusations have been made and things have been said. At the time, it seemed that those words caused trouble beyond repair, but as days and years passed by, things started to change and today, many believe that the Sussexes would possibly return to Britain. Others, however, say this thought itself is ridiculous.

Interestingly, King Charles is said to have his own nickname for Meghan, one coined after she reportedly showed perseverance during her and Prince Harry’s 2018 appearance at the Royal Foundation Forum.
As reported by Page Six, Charles refers, or at least referred, to Meghan as “Tungsten,” a hard steel-grey metal of the third transition series that has the highest melting point of all metallic elements.
In her book The New Royals, author Katie Nicholl wrote: “It was, according to one aide, the moment William and Kate, who was heavily pregnant, realized they needed to up their game.
“The Cambridges [now named the Prince and Princess of Wales] had already signalled their intention to be more than ‘ornamental royals’ and had, along with Harry, made a huge success of their mental health campaign Heads Together.
“But Meghan was the breakout star of the foursome. She was polished, passionate and funny, using all her TV-honed skills to present her case. That was a wake-up moment for William and Kate when they realized that Meghan was very impressive, very confident and very capable, according to a source.”
It’s really amazing how animals can sense when someone’s in trouble. This is especially true for dogs, who possess this ability of detecting subtle changes in the mood of their owners and those around them. That is the reason why these noble creatures make great service animals who assist people with disabilities.
When one family adopted a dog, Joy, little did they know it would be the best decision they had ever made.
Being rescued from a shelter, Joy paid this family back by saving the life of one of them.
Namely, the family’s children, Emily, 6, and Jonas, 10, has fallen in love with Joy so much that they did everything together. From hiking and taking long walks, to sleeping together at night.
One day, Jonas told his mom that he would be taking a bath at the upstairs bathroom while the rest of the family stayed backyards.
At one moment, the mom heard strange noises coming from the house. Concerned that something could have happened to her son, she rushed upstairs and saw Jonas unconscious with his feet dangling over the bathtub’s edge while Joy was trying to free him by pulling his feet and hair in an effort to free him.
Jonah had a heart attack and passed out in the bathtub. When Joy sensed something was wrong, she rushed inside the bathroom.
Luckily, thanks to Joy, Jonas didn’t drown. He was taken to hospital where he received medical help.
“Without Joy, I wouldn’t want to consider what could possibly happen to Jonas. My boy’s life was saved by Joy, and we will always be thankful. He will undoubtedly be rewarded with a lot of steaks,” stated his mum.
Thanks to Joy, a life was saved that day.

Emma and Justin Cotillard had fallen in love the moment they first laid eyes on each other.
When they tied the knot, it was the happiest moment in their life. Soon after, Emma learned she was pregnant and their lives seemed complete.
Unfortunately, when she was in her seventh month of pregnancy, things changed. Justin started being very aggressive and yelled at her. One morning, he told her to leave the house, and Emma was left in complete shock because Justin was the best person she has ever met and this behavior wasn’t typical for him, on the contrary, it raised red flags.
“He had forgotten I was expecting our first kid He mistook me for a total stranger”, Emma recalled.
So, instead of going on honeymoon, they went to the hospital.
Doctors ran a bunch of tests and delivered the most devastating news. Justin had a tumor in his brain. That was the reason for his aggressive behavior.
Sadly, he was only given around 2 years to live, but the cancer started spreading faster than expected and Emma prayed to God that he at least meets his daughter.
Shortly after the baby was born, Justin’s condition worsened. “My spouse was given two weeks at home by the doctors before he passed away.”
From the moment he was diagnosed, until the moment he passed away, doctors did all in their power to save Justin’s life. But the cancer was very aggressive and the symptoms were severe. And as much as everyone said that nothing could be done, Emma believes that things could have taken a different turn if they noticed the symptoms earlier. One of them, which both she and late Justin didn’t pay much attention to, was his face.
In one of the wedding photos, Emma noticed something odd. “You can definitely tell that the right half of his face is a bit lower.”
She shared the photo along with Justin’s story in order to raise awareness and inspire people to seek medical help right away if they suspect something isn’t right with their health. No matter how insignificant some symptoms might seem, detecting them on time could save lives.

That bullying needs to be addressed with greater attention than it actually is is crucial. The number of people, especially children, who fall victims to this form of violence is huge, and sadly, schools fail to put a stop to it.
I guess those who turn to bullying are simply weak people who fail at solving their social problems and managing their emotions. But because of their personal insecurities, their victims become insecure as well, and that feeling of weakness and of lower value is sometimes present for life.
We all want our kids to be raised in a friendly environment which will allow them to become good people. But what happens when those who are supposed to be their support and teach them wright from wrong, like their teachers, treat them with disrespect?

Recently, a Michigan mom, Hoda Dannaoui, made a frightening claim.

That day, as any other, she took her son to the Highview Elementary School in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. The boy, Abdul, seemed happy, but that wasn’t the case when she went to pick him up once school was over.
There were something off about Abdul and she asked him what the problem was. What she heard was something that left her in complete shock.
Allegedly, the boy’s teacher taped his mouth shut and threw his lunch in the trash.
“I’m emotionally heartbroken,” Hoda said. “Disappointed. That’s his second home. That’s how they treat a child with asthma?”
Further, Abdul claimed that it wasn’t the first time that his teacher made fun of him in front of the rest of the students.
“My heart dropped,” Hoda said of the moment her son opened up to her.
Further, Abdul said that another teacher who was involved in the incident gave him a bracelet and told him not to tell his mom anything.
Ever since the incident, Hoda took her son out of the preschool and filed a police report, but school officials denied that any form of bullying has taken place.
“There have been no other reports of similar incidents. The Crestwood School District does not approve or accept this type of behavior,” Dr. Laurine VanValkeburg, Crestwood School district superintendent, said.
Eventually, the school’s principal told Hoda that what happened to her son was “wrong, but not a crime.”
“Should I believe my son?” Hoda said. “Or should I say he’s a liar? Something is not right… How is my son not telling the truth?”
Currently, the incident is being under investigation.

There is something about the British Royal family that makes people from every corner of Earth besotted with them. Always in the media and under the watchful eye of the wide public, the royals represent one of the most popular families in the entire world.
That the relationship between Harry and his wife Meghan with the rest of the Firm has been a rocky one isn’t anything new.
There were attempts for it to be rebuild several times, but to no avail. The brothers seemed to be as distant as back in 2020, when the Sussexes stepped down from their royal duties and left Britain behind. What followed were accusations made by both Harry and Meghan, among which those of racism.
Those accusations, along with the one that William and Charles were both trapped in the system, the one Harry left thanks to his wife who opened his eyes, made William mad. Being first in line to the throne, William has always made sure to serve and protect the best interests of the Crown, and with that, the system Harry attacked.

Now, in the wake of Queen Elizabeth’s death, the spotlight is trained on the royals like never before.
Royal experts claim Harry and Meghan offered olive branches to the family and are doing all in their power to smooth things down, but as of now, it seems that not much progress has been made.

According to a new book by author Valentine Low, Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, an extract of which was published in the Daily Mail, William reached out to his brother and Harry was initially open to the offer but he then turned his brother down due to fears that news of any such meeting would be leaked by royal staff.
“The day after the documentary aired, William WhatsApped his brother to ask if he could come and see him.
“Initially, Harry was in favour. Then he spoke to his brother again and asked him whom he would tell. William explained that he’d have to clear his schedule, which would mean telling his private secretary. At that point, Harry told him: Don’t come,” the extract read.
“He was so concerned that William’s team would leak the visit to the Press that he would rather not see his brother than risk it getting into the papers.”
Low further claimed that the ruined relationship between the brothers who were once very close is affecting people close to both of them.
Back in the day, it was reported that late Princess Diana made her sons promise to never get apart and be closest friends their entire lives.
“You must promise me that you will always be each other’s best friends,” Diana is said to have told her boys.
“And never let anyone come between you,” she added, after which the brothers apparently “high-fived each other and gave their mother a big cuddle”.

The Royal family has been through so much over the years. One particular thing that shook the monarchy to the core was the leaked affair between then-Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. At the time the entire country learned of their relationship, they were both married to other people.
The wide public condemned their affair, as they believed it was Camilla who was to be blamed for the failed marriage between the heir to the throne and Lady Di, the princess who captured millions of hearts, not only of Britons but people from all over the world.

However, over the years, Camilla proved her role within the monarchy and besides the negative opinion many Britons had of her in the past, she is indeed a great matriarch to the monarchy and someone King Charles III can always count on and rely on.
Camilla’s title has been widely discussed in the past. According to a poll by YouGov conducted last year, when the Palace announced Camilla will be getting the title Princess Consort once her husband accedes to the throne, 13% of the voters believed she should become Queen, while 28% said she shouldn’t get any title.

The relatively new TV movie The Real Camilla gave people an insight into her life. Known as someone who doesn’t give interviews and doesn’t speak of her private life, the documentary, which aired in 2018, gave a fresh look on who Camilla truly is and what her relationship with Charles means for the monarchy in general.
“She was rather an enigma. And I think she was greatly pleased by the film actually. It shows her to be this incredibly decent human being. She’s never been able to show that before. So I think it was a great experience for her, too,” producer Juliet Rice told Fox News.
The creators of the film believe the media has portrayed Camilla in a bad light for no apparent reason over the years, and that had a lot to do with the negative public opinion about her.
“There’s a lot of misconceptions about what really went on there… And throughout all that coverage, the ’80s and beyond, she’s never said a word. We didn’t talk to her about that, but it was nice to see her as a human, a relatively normal human being… As the years go on, she’s becoming a great matriarch of the royal family… I think she has become a great support system for the younger royals,” Juliet Rice said.

The King and Queen always interact with each other sincerely, even when cameras are rolling.
Producer Juliet Rice also shared some of Camilla’s secrets behind her long-lived marriage to King Charles.
“She’s an incredibly good listener. She and Prince Charles support each other brilliantly. Even during public appearances, they have a real synergy together. It’s rather lovely to see. And they have a real laugh together. It’s quite something, doing the job that they do. And they do it brilliantly together. They’re a really strong double act.”

When her 75th birthday roller around, in a rare interview with Vogue, Camilla discussed the key to a long and happy marriage.
“It’s not easy sometimes, but we do always try to have a point in the day when we meet. Sometimes it’s like ships passing in the night, but we always sit down together and have a cup of tea and discuss the day. We have a moment,” Camilla shared.
“It’s lovely to catch up when we have a bit of time. You know when we go away, the nicest thing is that we actually sit and read our books in different corners of the same room. It’s very relaxing because you know you don’t have to make conversation. You just sit and be together.”

Handling a child with a disorder can be challenging. Parents who have such kids know all too well that they need to put extra effort and extra care in order to be able to cope with the situation at home and at school.

A mom took to the Internet to share a touching story about her difficult child who has been diagnosed with ADHD, a condition resulting in having trouble paying attention, controlling impulsive behaviors, or being overly active.

“A little over two years ago, panic attacks abruptly replaced my ability to sleep. After a week of misery, I went to the doctor and asked for help. A battery of tests came back normal, and I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and mild depression. As a part of my treatment, I began seeing a counselor.
“My counselor practiced cognitive behavioral therapy, which didn’t immediately connect with me. We spent our first session debating the realistic odds of my entire family coming down with intestinal illness on our upcoming missions trip to Ecuador. My counselor tried to convince me that I was severely overestimating the probability of this event. (As it turns out, my odds were pretty accurate. But we all survived, so at least she was correct about that.) I left with significant doubts about the helpfulness of her approach.
“Things got a lot better when I started to talk about things closer to the heart of my anxiety, like my struggles parenting my son with ADHD. My counselor had a child with ADHD, and I could tell that this time, she understood me with her heart. She was listening with empathy. She had been there,” Heather started her story.

“I can’t remember exactly what drama was happening at the time with Josiah and his homeschool support program. Was it soon after he got in trouble for eating his science experiment, despite being warned not to by his teacher? Or was it the time a different teacher told me he had been on his face, eating the dirt between classes? (Turns out he wanted to literally bite the dust.)
“No matter what was happening on campus, I know for certain what was happening at home, because it never let up. Josiah and I clashed daily over his schoolwork and his difficulties focusing. He seemed driven to reject every suggestion I offered, every strategy I researched. Rather than reaching for what might help him, I watched him cling to those things that made him miserable and unsuccessful. I struggled with discerning what was genuinely difficult or impossible for him because of his ADHD, and what was simply attitude.”

“‘Next time you pray for Josiah,’ my counselor suggested, ‘try thanking God for what’s good and right about him. It will change your perspective and help you understand him.’
“Every now and then, you hear something that is absolutely simple, absolutely true, and perfectly timed to change you. This was one of those times. My counselor was right. Practicing gratitude for my son profoundly alters my perspective and eases my anxiety.”

“Josiah is 14 now, and the force of puberty is strong with him. He’s beginning high school next year in a large public school. We have not given up petition for this boy! But I have to remember not to start and end there.
“Josiah graduates from 8th grade today, one of three graduates from our homeschool support program. I’m supposed to give a small speech, and I compiled a list of what makes me thankful when I think of my son. I want him to hear (again) these things that are true about him, and I want him to know that this is who he is:
He is funny and good-natured. His craziness is never directed at hurting anybody, and the younger boys in school love hanging around him. He can laugh at himself.
He is honest. I can trust that his version of what happened is true.
He is strong and helpful. He will uncomplainingly lend a hand if I ask.
He is curious and loves learning. He asks great questions. He uses his free time to explore new concepts. He wants to become a professor of political and economic philosophy. He has a wonderful writing voice.
He is original. He refuses to blindly copy somebody else, but forges a new path. He thinks far outside the box.
He is generous. He spends almost all his money on others.
He cares about his friends and the world. He’s willing to sacrifice for them. He wants to follow Jesus and make the world a better place.
“Writing out a list like that for your child (and remembering it when you’re desperate) really does change your perspective, especially if he or she is the cause of your graying hair, or contributes to your sleepless nights. At the very least, it fills your heart with love and gratitude. There’s a magic in that, too.”

Some people are simply born with a sense for business. That, along with determination and willingness to take risk and put their skills to test in order to utilize them better is the winning combination.
A Utah boy named Seth is just 11 years old but he has already started a business and his marketing strategy has left many in awe recently.
As it turned out, instead of setting up a lemonade stand, he decided to sell something different so he got near the pavement holding a sign which read: ‘Ice Cold Beer.’
However, while some found this cute and praised him for starting a business, some of the neighbors got concerned that a minor was selling beer so they alerted the police.
In no time, a few officers visited Seth’s stand, and instead of telling him off, they had a good laugh.
It turned out that this young business genius was selling root beer, but the word root was written in small green letters, unlike those of the word ‘beer.’
The members of the Brigham City Police Department considered Seth’s poster sign an excellent marketing strategy. Honestly, not every child is able to pull something like that off.
Once the story found its way on the Internet, people couldn’t help but comment.

Some people said that whoever called the police on this young man should be ashamed of themselves, but the department didn’t agree. Instead, they replied, “Our citizens should never feel ashamed or embarrassed to call us. They were just calling in what they felt was a suspicious circumstance. No harm, no foul.”
The officers even bought some root beer for a $1 and advertised Seth’s business by sharing his cute story.
Details surrounding the accident on the set of the movie Rust in which cinematographer Halyna Hutchins lost her life after actor Alec Baldwin shot her emerged. According to the media, late Hutchins family filed a wrongful death suit which names Baldwin and others who “are responsible for the safety on the set” and “reckless behavior and cost-cutting.”
As reported by Fox News, the lawsuit read: “Halyna Hutchins deserved to live, and the Defendants had the power to prevent her [passing] if they had only held sacrosanct their duty to protect the safety of every individual on a set where firearms were present instead of cutting corners on safety procedures where human lives were at stake, rushing to stay on schedule and ignoring numerous complaints of safety violations.”
Further, it said: “This lawsuit seeks justice for the losses of her survivors and to hold responsible those who caused her tragic [passing].”

Baldwin himself spoke of the incident and said: “Someone put a live bullet in a gun, a bullet that wasn’t even supposed to be on the property. Someone is responsible for what happened, and I can’t say who that is, but I know it’s not me.
“I don’t know what happened on that set. I don’t know how that bullet arrived in that gun, I don’t know,” he added, “But I’m all for doing anything that will take us to a place where this is less likely to happen again.”
His lawyers asked for any lawsuits to be dismissed claiming the tragedy was a “workplace accident.”
The most recent news surrounding this tragic event is that late Hutchins’ family and Alec Baldwin have reached an undisclosed settlement in the wrongful death lawsuit filed against the actor and others, according to a statement released by the actor’s attorney.

“We have reached a settlement, subject to court approval, for our wrongful death case against the producers of Rust, including Alec Baldwin and Rust Movie Productions, LLC. As part of that settlement, our case will be dismissed. The filming of Rust, which I will now executive produce, will resume with all the original principal players on board in January 2023. I have no interest in engaging in recriminations or attribution of blame (to the producers or Mr. Baldwin). All of us believe Halyna’s death was a terrible accident. I am grateful that the producers and the entertainment community have come together to pay tribute to Halyna’s final work,” Hutchins said in a statement.
“Throughout this difficult process, everyone has maintained the specific desire to do what is best for Halyna’s son. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to the resolution of this tragic and painful situation,” Alec Baldwin’s attorney, Luke Nikas of Quinn Emanuel, said in a statement.
Film director Joel Souza who was struck by the bullet that killed Hutchins is expected to return to the film. “Those of us who were lucky enough to have spent time with Halyna knew her to be exceedingly talented, kind, creative, and a source of incredible positive energy. I only wish the world had gotten to know her under different circumstances, as it surely would have through her amazing work. In my own attempts to heal, any decision to return to finish directing the film could only make sense for me if it was done with the involvement of Matt and the Hutchins family. Though certainly bittersweet, I am pleased that together, we will now complete what Halyna and I started. My every effort on this film will be devoted to honoring Halyna’s legacy and making her proud. It is a privilege to see this through on her behalf,” Souza was reported to have said in the statement.
Attorney Spadone of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, who represents Rust Movie Productions, LLC, said they are glad the parties were able to resolve the matter, which is a step towards honoring late Hutchins life and work.
The news of the alleged settlement has first been revealed by Deadline.

Alongside guest journalist Lisa Lind and comedian Margaret Cho, Meghan spoke of the stereotype known as the “Dragon Lady,” wherein female members from the Asian community are shown as “sexually” cold and threatening towards masculinity.

The term “Dragon Lady” reportedly emerged during the 1930’s in order to describe Asian women who were “strong, sexual, deceitful and domineering.”
Some of the people and films she mentioned in her podcast were Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill and actor Mike Myers ‘accusing’ them of the unfit portrayal of Asian women in a stereotypical way.
“Movies like Austin Powers and Kill Bill presented these characters of Asian women as oftentimes over-sexualized or aggressive,” Markle said on her podcast.
“‘The Dragon Lady, the East Asian temptress whose mysterious foreign allure is scripted as both tantalizing and deadly This has seeped into a lot of our entertainment. But this toxic stereotyping of women of Asian descent, it doesn’t just end once the credits roll.”

Meghan’s guests shared her opinion and claimed they themselves have identified with the stereotype.
“‘Dragon Lady’ really comes from this fantasy of orientalism. It’s actually a character that is similar to the femme fatale. In that, a woman who is beautiful and deadly. Because we can’t just be beautiful, it has to come at a cost,” Cho said.
“And it’s kind of like the evil Queen adjacent but it’s also so pinned to this idea that Asiannessis an inherent threat that our foreignness is somehow [going] to get [you]. Mystery and exoticism are part of it and unfortunately, that trope has stuck to film but also to Asian American women or Asian women.”

Meghan then took her time to open up about an experience she and her mother Doria had while visiting the Little Tokyo district and spending time in a Korean spa.
“It’s a very humbling experience for a girl going through puberty because you enter a room with women from ages nine to maybe 90, all walking around naked and waiting to get a body scrub on one of these tables that are all lined up in a row,” Meghan could be heard saying.
“All I wanted was a bathing suit. Once I was over that adolescent embarrassment, my mom and I, we would go upstairs we would sit in a room and we would have a steaming bowl of the most delicious noodles.”

Loretta Lynn, the legendary country singer who impacted the world of music so profoundly over the years, passed away in the morning of October 4, 2022.
Throughout her life, she experienced a lot of beautiful things, as well as loses and griefs, but she came even stronger each time.
Lynn was a daughter of a coal miner, and that is something that was a big part of her life. Her signature song “Coal Miner’s Daughter” and an Oscar-winning biopic of the same name were inspired by her life story.
The news of her passing was shared by her family through a statement which read, “Our precious mom, Loretta Lynn, passed away peacefully this morning, October 4th, in her sleep at home in her beloved ranch in Hurricane Mills.”
According to a statement provided to The Los Angeles Times, Lynn died of natural causes in her sleep. She was 90 years old.

At the age of 15, Lynn met the man who would become her husband. She stayed with him for 48 year, until his passing in 1996. Her marriage to Oliver “Doolittle” Lynn resembled a fairytale, but things weren’t smooth between them, mainly because of his heavy drinking and the many affairs he had with other women over the years.
”I married Doo when I wasn’t but a child, and he was my life from that day on,” Lynn later wrote in her 2002 memoir Still Woman Enough. “But as important as my youth and upbringing was, there’s something else that made me stick to Doo. He thought I was something special, more special than anyone else in the world, and never let me forget it. That belief would be hard to shove out the door. Doo was my security, my safety net.
“Doo was a good man and a hard worker. But he was an alcoholic, and it affected our marriage all the way through.”

She has always been a woman before her time who was never afraid to tackle topics which were considered taboo during the 1960’s. Her song “Dear Uncle Sam,” which was critical of the Vietnam war, and “The Pill,” which tackled the controversial topic of birth control led to her songs to be banned from the radio.
“Loretta Lynn has more banned songs than any other country artist,” the artist’s granddaughter Tayla Lynn recently told NewsNation. “They tried to cancel her before cancel culture was a thing.”
She became the first woman in history to win the Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year trophy in 1972, and also “four Grammys, a 2003 Kennedy Center honor, and a Presidential Medal of Freedom a decade later.”

In 2018, Lynn suffered a stroke and broke her hip, which led to magazines writing about her declining health. “Well, through the years they’ve said I’m broke, homeless, cheating, drinking, gone crazy, terminally ill, and even dead!” she wrote on Facebook. “Poor things can’t ever get it right.”

Victoria Beckham had her debut at the Paris Fashion Week and received a round of applause while she put her face to her hands several times as she blew kisses to son Brooklyn, 23, who was set next to his wife, Nicola Peltz, with whom the former Spice Girl is said not to be getting along with.

The only way to help make this world a better place is to teach our children sympathy. When we care for one another, everything seems to fall into place.
Six siblings from New York, one 10-year-old, two twins, and a set of triplets, experienced the loss of a very close friend of theirs. The boy who died was battling cancer for some time, but sadly, lost the battle. While he was going through chemo treatments, his hair fell off. This made the siblings extremely sad. Their hearts were crushed when they learned their buddy passed away, so in his honor, they all decided to let their hair grow long so that they could donate it to others who are diagnosed with cancer just like their late friend.
They decided not to tell anyone about their plan. Not even their mom knew why they all refused to have their hair cut.
Sadly, as their hair grew longer and longer with each passing month, the teasing from their classmates became more and more frequent.
The siblings were called names and many told them that they resembled girls. But they didn’t care much because they knew they had a purpose and were determined to reach the goal they had in mind.
Finally, when the time came for them to donate their hair, they collected a combined 17 feet of hair. Impressive, isn’t it?
We are glad that such young children can be so loving and caring.

“I asked him, ‘Who screwed up your hair?’ He later told me that’s when he fell in love with me. My fella likes to hear the truth, which is unusual.”
Some time ago, Streisand was reported to have ended up in the hospital and her family and friends got worried for her health, which they believe is a result of her busy life and the hectic schedule she lives by. Allegedly, she had leg examined in the lobby at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and one of the physicians said doctors might have found a “deep vein thrombosis” in her leg and the large clot could enter her bloodstream and cause a fatal heart attack.

Brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg pay tribute to their loving mother who passed away at the age of 78. The matriarch of the Wahlberg family, Alma, suffered from dementia. Besides the famous brothers, Alma was also a mother to seven other children.
Many people remember Alma from her appearance on the Wahlberg family’s reality show called Wahlburgers which aired for ten seasons.
Actor Mark Wahlberg took to the social media to say his final goodbye to the woman who meant the world to him. “My angel. Rest in peace,” he wrote, alongside a photo of his mother wearing a pink blazer.
In the past, Alma spoke of the daily chats she had with her son, saying, “Mark calls me from all over the world. Every single day. I don’t care if it’s 3 o’clock in the morning!”
He appreciated those calls as much as she did.
“It was always the first phone call that I made every single day for the last 10 years, was to my mom,” he shared with Fatherly. “And I don’t get to make that phone call anymore. And it’s heartbreaking. And that’s hard.”
Donnie also took to Instagram to write a lengthy post in honor of his mother.
“Blessed to have been brought into this world by, raised by, taught by and set on my life’s path by, such an amazing woman.”
“My mom Alma’s joy for life, love and people – combined with a pride in her humble beginnings and refusal to forget where she came from – undoubtedly shaped me into the man that I am. I’ve often said, if you like anything about me, I got it from Alma.”
Speaking of her as of “the most loving human being” and “the epitome of the word grace,” Donnie added, “It’s time to rest peacefully, mom. I love you, miss you, thank you and will celebrate you, today and always. Forever – your Baby Donnie.”
Whenever someone asked Alma which of her children was her favorite, she would answer, “Whoever I’m with at the time.”
“They’re all so unique in their own way. I’m really proud of them. Not just the success, but how they’ve turned out. They’re really good people. I wouldn’t care if they were ditch diggers, as long as they’re good people.”

Angel is one of the bravest dogs we’ve ever met. This incredible creature is a proof that dogs who were once abused and neglected and who ended up dumped or surrendered at shelters can make great pets too. Just because they suffered from the hands of cruel humans doesn’t mean they can’t trust the good ones.

When the rescuers stumbled upon Angel, she was on the brink of death. Her ribs could be seen through her thin skin. It was obvious this poor dog wasn’t getting any food as she was malnourished and resembled a skeleton.
Looking at her, the people who came across her way didn’t really think much could be done for her. But they wouldn’t quit without a fight. She deserved a chance, and they were more than willing to give it to her.

The neglect she suffered throughout the years didn’t only make Angel’s body start shutting down, but her personality as well. She didn’t believe things could turn for the better for her, but she was wrong. Now that she was in the hands of the loving volunteers at Rescue From The Hart, Angel could thrive.

Although she was in need of food, her rescuers knew her body wouldn’t be able to handle much of it, so they were very patient and fed her small amounts of food that they increased day by day.
Except for the food, Angel was given a bunch of medicine that helped her with her pain and the sores that covered her fragile body.

But as time passed by, Angel was feeling better and better. Rescue From The Hart shared a video in which they said, “We lent her our strength, until one day she found her own.” And yes, it was the volunteers’ support, love, and affection that pushed Angel forward.
Once she started resembling a normal dog, Angel was placed in a foster home. However, she didn’t spend much time there as her forever family crossed her path shortly after.

The naked truth is that the preference for looks over personality is replicated all around us. No matter how much people claim they want to be with someone who possess nice personality traits, most would still opt for someone more attractive than someone intelligent.
It looks like that a lot of time needs to pass before we learn how to appreciate the intellectual and stop judging people by the way they look.
Jenna Kutcher, a 29-year-old photojournalist has a story to share and she hopes it would get to as many people as possible.
She and her husband of ten years have been high-school sweethearts. Even today, they are much in love with each other. However, when people see them together they wonder how she, who is a curvy woman, ended up with someone as attractive as her hubby, a fitness instructor with six-packs.
Recently, she shared photos on her social media from their vacation on which they both wear swimsuits. To Jenna’s surprise, she received a bunch of negative comments from complete strangers who called her fat and unfitted for her man.
Some of the nasty comments were: “I’m shocked that she found such a hot husband.”
“You don’t deserve to be married to such a handsome man.”
“I don’t know what your spouse saw in you; he should search for someone as attractive as himself.”
“I hate to break it to you, but you need to reduce weight. You don’t mesh well with your husband at all.”
Jenna felt the urge to respond to the mean sayers.
“Why should I get him as a curvy girl? I construct stories in my brain about how I’m not worthy of him because I’m not skinny,” she wrote.
“For the last 10 years, this guy has accepted every curve, every dimple, every pound, and every pimple, and he has constantly reminded me that I am beautiful even when my internal thoughts didn’t agree. I chose the man who could manage all that (and so much more!) despite the fact that my thighs are big, my arms are large, and my bum is huge.”
Further, she wrote that she and Drew just learned how to laugh at those people who think that seeing two people with different body shapes being together is newsworthy.
“Our bodies are not who we are. Drew is not defined by the title “Mr. Six Pack,” and I am not defined by terms like “curvy” or “plus size,” she said.
“At the end of the day, we are the couple that met in college, fell in love, and began dating after [Drew] lost a bet that resulted in a first kiss. The rest, as they say, is history. Our experience has been filled with highs and lows, joy and sorrow, and we have decided to be here and turn the chaos into our message, because going viral has demonstrated that the world is hungry for REAL,” she ended her post.
We hope she taught the mean commenters a lesson that looks is not everything.

Back to the Future star Michael J.Fox opened up about his health condition and revealed that the Parkinson’s disease he was diagnosed with almost 30 years ago, when he was just 29, is taking its toll and is affecting his short time memory.
Michael disclosed his condition with the public in 1998 and semi-retired from acting two years later as his health worsened. It took young Michael a lot of time to accept the reality, but he finally decided to make the best out of his life despite the struggles the disease forced him to face.

The actor, who has won five Primetime Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, a Grammy Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, told People, “My short-term memory is shot.”
He also said how he used to have a “real proficiency for lines and memorization,” but how “the last couple of years have been trickier than most.” Michael added, “And I had some extreme situations where the last couple of jobs I did were actually really word-heavy parts. I struggled during both of them.”
Recently, in an interview with comedian Mike Birbiglia, Michael opened up about never-before-shared aspects of his condition and explained that he had lost his sense of smell. Although this saddened him a great deal, he said he still remembers most of the smells, including that of pine, just before Christmas.
Although it is a common belief that tremor is the first symptom of Parkinson’s Disease, research reveals that most people diagnosed with it lose their sense of smell months, and even years before the diagnosis.
The Teen Wolf and Spin City star has been married to actress Tracy Pollan for 32 years and they have four children together. Despite his struggles, Michael says life is good because he’s surrounded by his loving family and people who are his biggest support.
Along with his wife, Michael established the Michael J. Fox Foundation whose goal is finding cure for Parkinson’s disease through funded research. The organization is currently the largest non-profit funder of Parkinson’s disease research in the world. His dedication to helping patients with the disease he suffers from himself placed him on the 2007 Time Magazine‘s list of 100 people “whose power, talent or moral example is transforming the world.”
Although he continued acting after the diagnosis, his work was mainly focused on lending his voice in films like Stuart Little and Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
“My guitar playing is no good. My sketching is no good anymore, my dancing never was good, and acting is getting tougher to do,” Michael told People. “So it’s down to writing. Luckily, I really enjoy it. People don’t believe me, but I love life. I love being with my family.”
The actor has written four books, Lucky Man: A Memoir (2002), Always Looking Up: The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist (2009), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future: Twists and Turns and Lessons Learned (2010) and his fourth, No Time Like the Future, released on November 17, 2021.
Michael J. Fox is an incredibly talent actor and an extraordinary man. We only wish him the best in the years to come. We hope he stays as optimistic as he has throughout all his life.

When the country learned of the relationship between then-Prince Charles and Camilla Bowles Parker, who were both married at the time, the monarchy was shaken to the core.
However, as years went by, the public got used to seeing their future King and Camilla together and many let go of the anger they felt towards Charles for being unfaithful to Princess Diana.

When Camilla and Charles tied the knot back in 2005, she was awarded the title of Duchess of Cornwall. It was announced by the Palace at the time that when Charles becomes King, she would be regarded Princess Consort. That, however, changed following the celebration of late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, which marked her 70 years of reign, when Her Majesty made a decision Camilla to become Queen Consort instead.
“And when, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me, and it is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service,” Queen Elizabeth said.

Just years before this decision which came as a surprise to many, Queen Elizabeth was reported to have called Camilla ‘that wicked woman,’ when Charles asked her to soften her antagonism so he could live openly with Camilla.
Over the years, Camilla showed she truly cared for Charles and the royal family. She got involved in a number of charities and people realized she was a loving person. Her reputation started improving and she and the Queen got along pretty well.
Before the affair with Charles, Queen Elizabeth was fond of Camilla and her then-husband Andrew to the extend that she gifted them a corgi, the dogs Queen Elizabeth always had by her side.

Writing in Spectator, Andrew Parker Bowles, Camilla’s ex-husband, revealed that Queen Elizabeth had gifted the couple with a corgi named Windsor Flame. Later, she gave them another corgi named Danny.
While Windsor Flame was “wonderful, intelligent and brave,” Danny was quite the opposite.
Further, Andrew wrote that when he and Camilla split and returned Danny to the Queen, she wasn’t glad.
“In 1995, Her Majesty was heard to remark that the worst aspect of the Parker Bowles divorce was that she had got Danny back,” he wrote. “After the divorce, he returned to Windsor, where he spent the rest of his life, very happy, in the care of Mrs. Nancy Fenwick, who was unofficially the keeper of the Queen’s dogs.”

Now that Camilla has been awarded the title Queen Consort, she seems she is intending to break years long royal tradition.
As we all know, Queen Elizabeth was always accompanied by “ladies-in-waiting,” who were in charge of supporting the monarch with personal correspondence and organizing the schedule, and helped gather flowers the public wanted to give to the Queen among the rest.
Camilla, however, was reported to have said she won’t be hiring ladies-in-waiting as she’s planning on ‘remodeling’ the monarchy.

Instead of following this particular tradition, Camilla was said to have wanted to simply rely on her two secretaries whom she hired when she first set up an office following her marriage to Charles.
“When she got married and set up her own office for the first time, she got two brilliant private secretaries, Amanda Macmanus and Joy Camm. But they were very much “two for the price of one,” the source explained.
“The Queen Consort will do things a little differently. She currently has two private secretaries who do some of those traditional duties anyway. And she has quite a lot of good and decent friends around her whom she can call on, as and when is necessary, to support her. I suspect she’ll dip into her close circle of friends, maybe geographically.”
