Animal trapped in snow gets saved by two railway workers

When we think about it, the relation between humans and animals has always been a close one. We do depend of these creatures the way they depend on us. Being considerate towards their needs is something every person should live by. Learning how to understand their behavior may be crucial for the bond that is created between us.

Above all, the way we treat animals speaks a lot about us as individuals, as well as human beings. One thing however, is for sure. If you do an animal a good deed they will be grateful forever, which isn’t really true for people who quickly forget who was there for them during rough times.

The story of the kindhearted railway workers from Austria is an example of how we should all treat animals, and that’s with ultimate respect. Because, at the end of the day, no matter how big or small, every life matters and is worth saving.

It was early January and the country was all covered in heavy snow. The Austrian Federal Railways workers thought it would be just an ordinary day at the job, not realizing they will become heroes in the eyes of a poor creature in need of help.

The two brave men were on the train when they first spotted the animal staying by the side of the rails. They tried to warn it to get out of the way using the loud sound of the horn, but it refused to move even an inch. So, when the train drove by the confused goat, she ended up covered under the snow.

As she was struggling to save herself, the two men jumped off the train and rushed towards the animal. Using only shovels and their strength, they started digging the snow while they were braving the harsh weather conditions.

It’s amazing how the workers didn’t even hesitate a bit before stepping in. To be honest, not many people in their position would do the same thing.

Thankfully, after some time, they were able to rescue the goat that was obviously scared and trembling. Once she felt she was safe, she was relieved and rushed towards the nearby forest.

Every living creature deserves the type of kindness and compassion this goat got.

We are thankful to these men for saving a life. This is yet another reminder that not all heroes wear capes.

3-year-old comes screaming in pain: Now mom is spreading the word about the hidden dangers of the beach

Spending quality time with your beloved family is one of the most important aspects of life. Sharing and caring for one another only makes the connection between the members stronger.

Now, when you think about it, nothing is really better than taking a trip together. Skiing in the winter and enjoying the beach during the hot days sounds like a perfect plan. That’s what one family did. They decided to have fun by the sea, but never did they think how this day that was supposed to be the reason for creating the best memories would turn into a nightmare.

As Katja Kafling and her children were at the beach, she suddenly heard her son screaming. When she turned to him she was in complete shock as he was covered in blood.

What happened to this young boy was truly devastating and now his mother is spreading the word and wants to warn others of the dangers of the beach.

Jacob, who was only three years old at the time, was enjoying the sun outside Roskilde, Denmark when the incident happened.

The poor boy had his tiny feet severely burned. It was so serious that his skin fell off.

He was quickly rushed to the Emergency Room and doctors were looking at his feet unaware what could have caused such burns.

Jacob’s mother explained how the boy accidentally run into glowing pieces of coal and wood that were hidden under the sandy surface. Someone was having a campfire and decided to extinguish it by covering it with sand.

However, this is the worst thing one can do because doing so has the opposite effect. Doctor Marianne Cinat at UCI’s Regional Burn Centre says how many people use sand to cool down or quench fires not knowing that “sand locks in heat, making smoldering coals even hotter.”

As for little Jacob, he had to endure a long and painful process of recovery. However, his family is beyond grateful that doctors did everything in their power to save his feet knowing how the first thing they considered was amputation because of the extent of the burns.

They performed multiple surgeries where they made a skin transplantation in order to repair his feet.

Now, four years after the devastating accident, Jacob is a happy young boy. But, he will always have the scars that will remind him of what had happened that day.

This story has a happy ending and serves the purpose to remind others to be careful while at the beach. As well as to make people aware to properly extinguish the fire. And if you see someone covering it with sand please tell them this story and make them use water instead.

Educating others of this hidden danger will result in avoiding serious injuries like that of Jacob.

And as he was lucky enough to avoid losing his feet, others may not have that chance.

Soldiers do a fun line dance during drills

This isn’t just another dancing video involving some crazy moves, but a very special edition coming from those who make sure we sleep tight at night knowing we are safe and well served. Yes, this is a unique routine by the military men and women.

As it appears, they are not only putting their lives on the line for the country and it’s citizens, but also make us laugh every now and then.

Thinking of these people and how hard had to be for them to be away from home for so long while deported, I realize the extent of their sacrifice.

They deserve all of our respect. So the next time you come across a military man or a woman make sure you thank them for everything they do.

Plus, military personnel undergoes difficult training that requires extra physical strength.

This amazing video was created with the help of the drill sergeant who is probably well aware that military members are above all human beings who need to have some fun every now and then. In order to keep the soldiers’ spirit up, he appoints some tasks that have nothing to do with the professional training required. He does have some silly requests that the soldiers are more than willing to perform.

I guess the most entertaining part of all is that the head sergeant gives the instructions using his serious tone of voice and holds onto his pretty rigid attitude.

As the military men and women start marching, it resembles a usual routine, and then all of a sudden we get to hear the sergeant’s instructions.

Besides the standard call of “left, left” there is one that goes “freeze to left, freeze to right” and then do the Matrix style. It’s so great when all of them replicate Neo’s moves from the movie.

It’s obvious they are all having a great time. We guess this fun start of the day will keep them in the good mood until they call the day off.

If you are wondering why “Matrix,” that’s because this awesome video was published ten years ago, but it still puts a smile on my face whenever I stumble upon it.

Many people loved this routine and agreed how everyone needs to relax from time to time. After all, soldiers have so much on their plate and these types of things make them relax as least for a while.

Of course, there were those who found this type of behavior unprofessional and inappropriate, but we have to say that we totally disagree with them.

Stranger cares for crying baby while mother shops at Target

Every parent does their best to teach their kids good behavior and how to act in public. But the harsh reality is that beside all that time you put in the long and tiring talks, your child will still do things their way, especially when they are still young and doesn’t take your words seriously.

Moms and dads out there are trying to cope with their children throwing tantrums in places such as restaurants where others try to have their lunch at peace, or at the local store.

In cases like this it’s very important for you not to forget how you are not alone, but millions of other parents are going through the same situation, and that certainly doesn’t make you a bad parent.

A mother of two, Rebecca Patterson has a story to share. And no, it’s not one of those when a poor mother is given the judgmental stares by the passersby who hate listening to children screaming, but one of those that restores our faith in doing good.

As this mother was struggling to finish her shopping trip at Target, her toddler got bored and wanted out of the store. You already assume how kids tell you they want this shopping experience to come to an end, by crying and screaming as loudly as they can. This disturbed Rebecca’s baby who joined his brother in his shrieking.

She tried every calming strategy she could think of, but to no avail.

Coping with two crying children isn’t an easy task, and this mother knew that best.

As she wanted to avoid any further inconveniences for the customers, she though it would be for the best if she just left the store as fast as she could.

“I started putting things away on the shelf and was about to leave when she came over to help.”

Then out of the blue she heard a voice saying:

“Do you need some help?”

Rebecca got both flattered and confused by this generous offer. Could she just let a random stranger take care of her kids? On the other hand that help was really welcome at the time. She really didn’t know what to think.

The woman introduced herself as Tiffany Guillory and it was obvious she really wanted to step in for the struggling mother.

Tiffany took the toddler in her arms and started rocking him, trying to calm him down while Rebecca tried to make the baby stop crying. Surprised by this unexpected offer, Rebecca snapped a picture of Tiffany and her child.

She explained the whole thing saying:

“She walked with me while I got the essentials needed for the day and kept hold of my toddler while he calmed down.”

It looks like it really takes a village to raise a child, don’t you think so?

When things got back to normal Rebecca thanked the kind stranger for what she did and they went separate ways.

However, once she got home, Rebecca couldn’t stop thinking of the incident. She was beyond grateful for the help she received and didn’t want Tiffany to be left without the recognition she deserved for being a good human, so she posted the photo online.

It wasn’t long after Tiffany recognized herself on the photo many people commented on and shared.

Tiffany described the woman’s reaction to her offer:

“I said, ‘Do you need some help’ and (she) never said anything but her motion was like ‘Yes!’”

Rebecca says how Tiffany is a real angel sent from God.

Imagine how beautiful this world would be if we all have a bit of Tiffany’s kind soul in us.

Teacher asks boy questions to see if he can skip grades. Answers are too much for principal

Young children are fun to be around mainly because they always speak their mind, and most of the time they do have a lot to say. Some are way smarter for their age and leave us speechless. Take little Jimmy for example. As his answers are worth skipping a few grades, that’s not really the case with the school’s principal. This is hilarious 🙂

A second grade teacher was having trouble with one of her students. One day, she asked Jimmy what his problem was. He replied,

“I’m too smart for the second grade, my sister is in the fourth grade, and I’m smarter than her too.”

The teacher took him to the principal’s office and explained the situation to the principal. The principal told her that he would give Jimmy a test. If he failed to answer one question, then he would have to go back to the second grade and be quiet. The teacher and Jimmy both agreed.

Principal: “What is 3 x 3?”

Jimmy: “9.”

Principal: “6 x 6?”

Jimmy: “36.”

And so it went on like this, the principal asked him every question a fourth grader should know. Finally, after about an hour, he told the teacher

“I see no reason why Jimmy can’t go to the fourth grade, he answered all of my questions right.”

The teacher asked if she could ask him some questions. The principal and Jimmy agree.

Teacher: “What does a cow have 4 of that I only have 2 of?”

Jimmy: “Legs”

Teacher: “What do you have in your pants that I don’t have?”

The principal gasps but before he can stop him from answering Jimmy says, “Pockets.”

Teacher: “What does a dog do that a man steps into?”

Jimmy: “Pants.”

Teacher: “What starts with F and ends with K and means a lot of excitement?”

Jimmy: “Firetruck.”

The principal breaths a big sigh of relief and says

“Put Jimmy in the fourth grade. I got the last 4 questions wrong myself.”

Every parent out there wants what is best for their child. So when the time comes for the bundles of joy to take their first steps, many moms and dads are willing to spend a bunch of money on the perfect shoes in order to facilitate for their little ones the process of walking.

Choosing the right shoes might be exhausting, because they have to fit the little foot just perfectly and provide enough comfort. However, according to the most recent research the struggle of getting the most appropriate foot wear might be part of the past because the best shoes are no shoes at all.

When a child learns how to walk, their sensory system is in the phase of fast development and walking barefoot helps improve their balance and coordination, as well as their spatial orientation skills.

Leaving the shoes out of the picture helps young children develop a stronger sense of touch and receive important sensory information from the soles of their feet touching the ground.

Dr. Kacie Flegal, a vitalistic chiropractor says how walking barefoot is important for the vitality of the two sensory systems: the vestibular system and the proprioceptive system.

The former determines the person’s center of gravity, whereas the latter is the ability to understand the motion and also the positioning of the human body.

Another expert, Tracy Birne, a podiatrist specializing in podopaediatrics claims how wearing shoes while learning how to walk and at very early age can hamper a child’s walking and cerebral development.

While outside, children should probably have their shoes on, but the amount of time they spend with them on should be reduced to minimum.

Once the toddler feels more confident in their walking skills, which of course takes some time to be achieved, they can progress to a firmer soled shoe, until then, children should be encouraged to walk barefoot.

Feet have a lot of sensory cells that form powerful neurological connections. Using shoes constantly will block out useful tactile feedback that the body and brain can use for better development. Many researchers connect child’s intelligence with walking without shoes. While wearing them results in the sense of touch being dampened and the messages to the brain diminished.

It’s an interesting fact that all this doesn’t only apply to young children, but adults as well. Walking barefoot can get you plenty of benefits among which stimulation of the sensory system and the development of brand new neural connections.

Love is the most powerful force on earth that has the power to change the world, but should we let it change who we are as a person?

When we fall for someone and get involved in a relationship we should be aware there are sacrifices and compromises both partners should settle on. However, there are some things we should never change for the sake of the other person. One of them is our identity, as well as our individuality. It’s an undeniable fact that those slight changes in our character that take place without us even being aware of them may result in letting important pieces of our identity as an individual slip away.

Many times people who are emotionally attached to another person lose track of how much change is enough. We should never let our personality, our beliefs, our body, our personal growth, and the chance of making our own decisions suffer because someone else said so.

One girl knows this all to well. She gave up everything and bent over backwards for her boyfriend for too long. Now when she’s finally free from that toxic relationship she decided to write an open letter and speak up about all the changes she was forced to go through. Her words are wise and worth reading.

“You always told me I didn’t look good with long hair and that you preferred girls with short hair. So I kept my hair cut above my shoulders at all times.

You laughed at me and told me I looked ridiculous when I dyed my hair red when we were together. So a week later I dyed it back blonde.

You would always point out if I was wearing too much makeup. (Winged eyeliner and mascara most of the time).

So I just stopped wearing it.

You told me tattoos and piercings were tacky and ugly and would try to take out my belly button ring every time you saw it.

So I took out my piercings and didn’t get any more tattoos.

But what gives me the guts to come out about this is the fact that I overcame it and I’m finally back to who I really am. – Feeling free.”

Always remember that if someone truly loves you, they would never ask from you to change who you are. Find a partner who would love everything about you and will love both your inner and outside beauty. Never set for anything less.

All-girl dance team steal the show when lights go out halfway through

Getting to the finals of the Tournament of Champions meant so much to the dedicated basketball players and everyone at the Dodge City High School. But no matter how excited the guys were to be taking part in such a competition, someone else stole the show.

As the school was both taking part and hosting the 76th tournament, they wanted to make sure the visitors have enjoyable time so they came up with what turned to be one of the best half-time dancing performances ever.

There is something mesmerizing about these synchronized movements that easily capture people’s attention. And although we are sure you’ve seen many similar group dances, we assure you this one is unlike anything you’ve stumbled upon.

Once the video of the performance was posted on YouTube, this dancing crew became an internet sensation.

With a million views and that many positive comments, this is really one-of-a-kind show. Sue Kidd, a fan of the drill team, wrote on the school’s Facebook page:

“A bit of background for Dodge City HS, located on the western plains of KS. Total enrollment is 2000 students, 81% are minority and of that 76% Hispanic, and with low unemployment in the community.”

“The school is focused on academic success AND respect for all students through a strong focus on character development. This is an example of that success. Congratulations!”

After the first spectacular halftime, dancers took the basketball court and everyone assumed a nice choreography would relieve the stress of the tense game, but what unfolded in front of the audience’s eyes was way more than just a dance.

This was definitely something to remember.

The girls started moving along the melody of the famous “Hallelujah” and then all of a sudden the lights went off and people were left wondering what was going on.

The dancers’ matching outfits consisting of white dresses, capes with angel wings, and crowns on their heads started glowing in the dark, creating an amazing scene. The music went from quiet to vivid and these girls were dancing in perfect sync.

Many people say how this performance is Super Bowl half-time worth, if not better. Great job ladies and Coach Conrardy!

Truth turns heads when dad and step-dad pose with daughter

Until recently, people had been very judgmental when it came to non-traditional families. It’s not that they’ve accepted it as a norm over night, but many realized that everyone should live their life as they please, even if that means two daddies or two mommies raising a child together.

That is pretty much the case with this little princess’ family. The five-year-old Willow shares two loving fathers who love her to the moon and back and will do anything for her happiness.

The world learned of this unusually beautiful family just recently when the photos of the sweet photoshoot of Dylan Lenox and David Mengon with their daughter saw the light of the Internet.

Dylan is very happy he got the chance to welcome beautiful Willow in his life. She is the daughter he always wanted and now he proudly goes with the name of “Bonus Dad.” “Daddy David” on the other hand is happy his daughter will have another male influence in her life. Both David and Dylan agree how meeting each other means meeting their best friend.

The thing is that the two really are just friends. Dylan will soon marry Willow’s mother, Sarah Mengon who is David’s ex wife. All the three adults agree how this “union” that they have created has a positive influence on the girl. Double the fathers, double the love, don’t you think so?

Everyone agrees how co-parenting can be exhausting and affect children’s happiness, especially if the parents went through rough divorce. Untying the knot is usually followed by harsh words being spoken to one another and long and costly custody battles. Luckily, not every couple that decides to go separate ways goes through these inconveniences.

This family is a proof of how things can be done another way when children are involved.

After Dylan posted the photo of the two fathers posing with their cute princess, people realized that not every relationship of happy people conforms to the norm.

“When we care more about our children (on both sides of the party) than the way society has taught us to be towards (ex’s/baby mommas/daddy’s) then walls will fall, life will be free of hatred and remorse, and our children will conquer the foolish “norms” that media has shoved in our faces. He stays at our home when he visits, because family is always welcome. He is not an outsider, he is and will always be a part of my life for the simple fact that we share the same daughter!”

One would expect for a situation like this to be perceived as awkward by both men, but Dylan and David know better than that. They say how Sarah is the one to blame for the harmonious relationship between the three.

Actually, Sara was the one who took the picture of her ex and future husband and their daughter. It was a daddy-daughter dance day at school and guess who stole all the attention?

It’s amazing how three grown ups managed to put the girl’s well-being on the top of their list of priorities. We are sure Willow is one lucky girl, because she is surrounded with some extra love.

According to psychologists, the father figure plays a crucial part in the process of raising children the right way. It’s not like those growing up without a dad end up being less successful than those who do, but having a male influence in the house certainly makes childhood a bit easier.

The video below shows a very special moment shared between a father and his little boy. These two not only know how to have fun together, but they made our day more enjoyable too. It’s amazing how a dull car ride can turn into one of the most memorable experiences that help make the bond between these father and a son even stronger.

How a husband and wife scared a cab driver out of his wits

The most amusing stories come from taxi drivers. They get to meet many new people on a daily basis and the interesting thing is that they have no idea who they are going to run across. We don’t even want to imagine how surprised this taxi driver was after he witnessed the conversation between a husband and a wife who happened to be his passenger. This is truly hilarious.

Having been burgled in the past, we turned on a ‘night light’ and the answering machine, then put the cat in the backyard. When our cab arrived, we walked out our front door and our rather tubby cat scooted between our legs inside, then ran up the stairs. Because our cat likes to chase our budgie we really didn’t want to leave them un-chaperoned so my husband ran inside to retrieve her and put her in the back yard again.

Because I didn’t want the taxi driver to know our house was going to be empty all evening, I explained to him that my husband would be out momentarily as he was just bidding goodnight to my mother. A few minutes later he got into the cab all hot and bothered, and said (to my growing horror and amusement) as the cab pulled away.

“Sorry it took so long but the stupid bitch was hiding under the bed and I had to poke her ass with a coat hanger to get her to come out! She tried to take off so i grabbed her by the neck and wrapped her in a blanket so she wouldn’t scratch me like she did last time. But it worked! I hauled her fat arse down the stairs and threw her into the backyard… she had better not shit in the vegetable garden again.”

The silence in the taxi was deafening…

Kind doctor’s thoughtful gift is something his patients never see coming

Welcoming that tiny bundle of joy into your life changes everything. Even if it means sleepless nights and being surrounded by poops and diapers, it is by far the best thing one can experience.

Dr.Erik Bostrom from Minnesota knows the joy of becoming a parent all too well. Why? Because his every day is spent around people who become parents the moment he delivers their little ones into this world. Moms and dads unselfishly share their joy with this very special man who knows just how to thank them.

This doctor does something incredibly beautiful for the babies, and the story of his kind deeds is now shared around the country and the world.

This generous and kind hearted doctor doesn’t only make sure the babies are safely delivered, but takes further care of their mommies, including helping them handling postpartum health safely.

As he says it himself, he simply loves his job. And he loves it to the extent that he wants to connect to every newborn and their families in a more personal level. He does it by doing something really sweet. Dr. Bostrum sews personalized blankets for every of his baby patients.

He says he does it because he wants his patients to be happy and to have something to remember the best day of their life. He found sewing a bit hard at the beginning but now he does it like a real professional. He also admits how all the effort pays off when he sees the new mothers smile. They all cherish this precious gift because it’s handmade and sewed with lots of love.

Lacie Hietalati gave birth to a baby daughter just recently and she also got one of this amazing personalized blankets. During their two-week check up visit, Dr. Bostrom welcomed them with a smile and the unique gift. Lacie was surprised because she didn’t expect for a doctor to do such a lovely thing.

It’s amazing how he finds the time to sew all those blankets by himself knowing he has lots of patients and a busy schedule. But we guess that when you love something so much, nothing is impossible.

Dr. Bostrom’s generosity is truly unique. We all agree that we need more people like him in this world who would make us feel like the most special people or patients. Way to go Dr. Bostrom, you are our hero.

Incredible vocals such as that of Susan Boyle and Angelica Hale could be heard filling the air and making the audience go mad. The series also features winners, finalists, and starts from the other “Got Talent” franchises spanning 194 countries who brought on stage memorable and fan-favorite acts.

The good news is that one of our favorite contestants with a unique life story is back and stronger than ever. Kechi Okwuchi’s life wasn’t an easy one but she proved everyone around her that nothing could stand on her path of becoming a star.

When she was just a college student she was involved in a plane crash. She boarded that plane together with 60 of her classmates. Tragically, it fell down soon after it took off with all of her Kechi’s friends losing their life. This lucky lady and another person were the only survivors out of all 107 passengers.

From that moment on her life turned upside down. The road to recovery was tough and painful, but thanks to her mother’s support she managed to overcome the struggles she was facing.

One crucial factor that helped her along the way was the power of music. Her mother would never stop singing to her, and that made her fall in love with the notes, the tunes, and the melodies.

“The next day and the next day, I remember my mom singing to me. I had no idea I’d one day be standing on the stage of America’s Got Talent and singing.”

When she first appeared on the show in 2017, her voice and her story captivated the hearts of the judges and the crowd. Simon Cowell who is considered one of the most strict of the four judges said:

“You deserve a place here tonight, not just based upon your story, but based upon your talent.”

This time, she treated the audience that was eagerly waiting for her performance with a rendition of Calum Scott’s “You Are The Reason.” Her powerful voice along with her humble personality had everyone yelling from the rooftop.

This brave young lady comes as the full package, including undeniable talent, sparkling smile, and inspirational life story. She pours her soul on that stage letting everyone know she is a fierce competitor.

The judges only have word of praise for the incredible performance. Howie Mendel refers to her as a “champion of life” which she certainly is. Kechi proved many times before that she’s a survivor and we are certain she’ll come up as a winner again.

And for Simon, he said:

“I’m going to be honest with you. I didn’t really like it that much,”

than added with his full voice how he actually loved it, reaching for the Golden Buzzer. Kechi burst into tears of joy as she saw her mother swiping hers.

“My one regret was I wasn’t able to give her the Golden Buzzer. You want to know what a champion is? This is a champion.”

This golden girls is now headed to the finals. We keep our fingers crossed for you Kechi!

This brave young mother decided to leave everything in her home country of Brazil and try to pursue the American dream away from her little children. Being separated from them crushed her world, but she knew it was the sacrifice she had to make in order to provide them with a brighter future.

Cassie’s angel came into her life and gave this struggling mother the hopes and the push she needed so badly. Peter DeRosa is the man who made a change in her life.

Cassie got her first job at one of Peter’s restaurants and the two became very close friends ever since. He gave her a chance when she needed it the most. But everything this man did for her from that moment on was thanks to her dedication to her job. As Peter himself says, she is an incredibly hardworking person. He even helped her get another job so that she could embrace her children sooner than she expected.

Peter is an owner who knows how to appreciate great employees who love their job. He was there for Cassie in the years to come, but she could never imagine that this man will become her guardian angel.

Knowing how important being on time was for Cassie made Peter suspicious after she called sick and didn’t get to work one day. He wanted to make sure everything was fine so he found her address and paid her a visit. But, as soon as he walked in he got surprised by what he saw. She was feeling worse than he though so he quickly brought her to the doctor’s. And this is just a tiny portion of all the good deeds Peter offered his best employee and friend.

Girl rocks the public piano with unexpected companions

Waiting for your family to get done with the long and pretty boring shopping trip to the nearest mall doesn’t have to be that annoying, at least not when there is a public piano nearby. Yes, this instrument can make your waiting time pass really quickly and make you have lots of fun no matter if you are willing to give it a try at performing on it or listening to other do it.

A teenage girl spotted a piano and quickly approached it. As soon as she put the tips of her fingers on the keys we knew something amusing was about to take place.

Passersby would stop to witness the unusual sight unfolding in front of them.

The lovely teenager was into producing a lovely melody when another person got closer and wanted to play the piano himself. Was she fine with stepping down? Based on her facial expression, not really. She even tried to tell him to find his own piano, but after some time she let him play on it.

Now the man was the one behind the instrument and the girl seemed to be a bit annoyed. But after a couple of minutes, she started clapping her hands to the rhythm of the vigorous and bold melody he produced.

What was really going on in here? Was this going to turn into something more than just two ‘strangers’ fighting over the piano? Well, the onlookers didn’t really care, they just joined the performance by clapping their hands.

Now things turned even more interesting when another person passed by and took part in the show.

He was wearing a uniform and a helmet and encouraged the girl to join the man who had overtaken the piano from her. It was three people, one instrument, and many smiling faces all around.

People took the time to listen to the interesting sound they were making. This isn’t a classical piece of music, but something really funky that made everyone move to the rhythm, at least by nodding their heads.

But out of all the people, the guy sitting on the side of the piano is the best. He looks so confused, as though he’s wondering what is going on. Dead serious throughout the whole performance, he’s just looking at the players and the cheering crowd. However, near the end, he cracks a smile as sort of approval of the job well done.

The man in the green jacket playing the piano is actually a piano teacher named Terry Miles.

But, the fun thing is that he’s not an ordinary teacher who teaches ordinary music. His style is called Boogie Woogie Piano, a musical genre that became popular during the late 1920s. Typical for this style is that it’s not strictly a solo, but extends to piano duo and trio, guitar, and even big band.

What Terry does is kind of unique because he encourages people to play and make music together, which is better than doing it all by yourself.

Family Dog Teaches Abusive Boyfriend a Lesson He Will Never Forget

When I think about it, no human has ever been there for me when I needed them the most as my dog has. He’s become my best companion from the moment I first took him out of the shelter. The way his eyes were looking at me back then is something I will remember until the rest of my life. Dogs really are man’s best friend and there is no doubt about it. And whenever I hear stories like the one below, I realize that dogs are the best thing that has ever happened to this world.

My dog, Camie, defended me and my friend from her (my friend’s) crazy, abusive boyfriend.

We both knew he was an abusive sociopath, but of course being his girlfriend, this was something that she was in denial about for a long time. Finally, she couldn’t deny it anymore and tried to leave him.

She managed to get away from him while he was beating her, and drove the short distance to my house to be safe. My house wasn’t safe, though. He followed her, kicked through the glass on the french doors, and unlocked the bolt from the inside.

I wish I could say that either of us made a valorous stand against him, but we didn’t. She had already gone a few rounds with him and neither of us had any kind of self-defense training. He cornered us quickly and used his fists and my scarves to subdue us. He told us what he was going to do to us both (not going to repeat it) and I had pretty much resigned myself to it, too beaten to fight and for whatever reason, it wasn’t in me to beg, either. I just went cold and numb. I couldn’t even feel the physical hurt. Mentally, I just…left.

That’s when Camie, my pit/lab mix finally broke through the remainder of the french doors and came barreling into the room.

Now, Camie is a sweet, loving, goofy dog. She was as gentle as can be with all of the neighborhood kids and had never so much as snarled. She was even kinda dumb…a silly, sweet girl.

But when Camie got a hold of this guy, she was a different animal. She was wild-eyed and foaming at the mouth, bleeding from all of the cuts she’d gotten from the glass and not caring one bit. She was on top of him in the blink of an eye, and I can’t even describe the sound coming out of her. I counted down in my head until the moment when she ripped his face off.

It never happened. The sound of the garage door opening froze us all in place. My father was home. The guy tried to take advantage of the moment and get away from her but Camie backed him into a corner and barked and snarled her head off. My dad must have understood something about that sound because he was in that room in no time flat, with gun in hand.

The police came. Reports were filed. The trial was held, and he went away. Apparently this wasn’t even his first assault.

Camie’s cuts healed, and so did ours. We no longer have french doors.

She’s an old girl now. An old, sweet, loving girl. Her mind is starting to go, and so are her hind legs. She may not remember what she did for me (and my friend), but I won’t forget. She may be nearing the end of her days, but I will never see a weak, useless old dog. She’s my dog. I don’t know what all my friend’s crazy boyfriend might have done. I don’t even know what I owe her, and that’s the beauty of it.

Ice dancers captivate audience to Ed Sheerans perfect

It’s truly incredible how talented some people are. However, we are perfectly aware that being able to master something requires lots of practice as well.

Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron are ice dancers who are always treating the audience with dance routines to remember.

Ice dancing isn’t same as ice-skating. Whereas the latter involves various maneuvers of synchronized jumping, spinning, and lifting, the former involves more gracious movements. Having said that, it’s obvious that the right choice of music and song is a crucial element of the whole routine.

For this particular performance, dancing partners Papadakis and Cizeron chose Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.”

The dancers’ outfits were not matching, on the contrary they were dressed in contrasting colors. While Gabriealla was wearing a short red gown that fit her figure just perfectly, Guillaume opted for the black color. Their dancing however, was in perfect sync. They were born to entertain people with their out of this world moves.

Everyone agrees how this pair’s performance is sort of unique. It looks as though they are flying over the ice and aren’t touching the ground. They make this complex routine look effortless, and that’s the real beauty behind it. The powerful melody and even more powerful lyrics are a perfect fit. Looking at each other’s eyes throughout the entire act, these dancers made the whole thing emotional. A real magic unfolded in front of the eyes of the spectators.

Their facial expressions reveal the message of the song they were trying to send to the captivated audience. Simply amazing.

The choice of the song “Perfect” indeed turned the show into a perfect one. This music piece has been a huge hit that reached the top spot of US Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart in December 2017.

The song is an important part of the overall performance because the movements and the choreography are based both on the lyrics and the melody.

This isn’t the first time for them to take the audience’s breath away with what they put on the icy surface. Gabriella is a famous name in the ice dancing. Together with Guillaume, she’s declared as the silver medalist in the 2018 Olympics. She is a 3-time World champion and 5-time French National champion, which is truly amazing. Both hold world records which make them one of the best out there.

Kind runners step in to help girl on competing team

Life isn’t always about winning. When you think about it, it’s more about what kind of people we turn to be along the way. Because getting a medal or a ribbon in a competition will never have the same value of becoming a real life hero for a random person you meet on your way to success.

A girl named Madeline Adams was excited to be taking part in the ACC Women’s Cross Country Championship, but little did she know that that day would turn into one she will never forget.

She put a lot of time and sweat in getting physically fit and was determined to end up first, but her body had other plans.

She did great during the whole race, but just as she was about to get to the finish line she started feeling strange and lost her strength.

She later told CBS News what really happened during the race:

“I was running the race of my life. I was doing incredibly well. I was coming up that hill (to the finish line), I started to feel really fatigued. All of a sudden, I get this wave that comes over me and my legs just truly gave out from underneath me. I had no control. I really don’t remember falling, I remember being on the ground and being like, ‘why am I on the ground? Get up.'”

She wouldn’t feel her legs as a pang of exhaustion hit her body. She was way too weak to continue, so she simply collapsed.

The rest of the competitors continued running without even turning their head towards Madeline.

But then, one of them, a very amazing young lady named Evie Tate from Clemson stepped in as she couldn’t simply continue racing knowing a girl was on the ground struggling to move an inch. She tried carrying Madeline by herself but that was impossible for she was way too heavy for one person to lift her. luckily, that’s when another girl, Rachel Pease from Louisville stopped and offered to help. Now both Evie and Rahel pulled Madeline from the ground wanting to finish the race carrying her to the finish line.

Madeline is very grateful for the support and the help she was offered by these kind-hearted girls.

“The great part that comes out of this is there are two amazing girls that helped me, who are completely selfless and just amazing people with amazing character.”

Unfortunately, Madeline didn’t get to the finish line because doctors approached and provided her with the help she needed so badly.

Madeline says how this race was the toughest ever, but it taught her that there are still good people out there who really care for the well-being of others.

We should all follow Evie and Rachel’s example.

Pregnant woman leaves judges breathless with Whitney classic

Take a second and think how many times it has happened for you to judge someone based on their physical appearance. I guess that no matter how kind and nice we are, we do make assumptions about people we know nothing about. That has to be in the humans nature. I also believe that most of the times, we turn to be completely wrong and feel bad for misjudging certain group or individuals.

This is yet another example of why we should never judge a book by its cover because people are way more than what their looks say about them.

When this mother-to-be took the stage of the X-Factor Ukraine all eyes were on her. Many, including some of the judges believed she shouldn’t even be there considering her ‘situation.’ Yes, she did look as though she was about to deliver that baby very soon, but why would that be an obstacle towards the path of her possible success.

Being aware of the situation, this 25-year-old contestant was determined to prove evil minded people wrong. She was about to hit that stage and shine and even get all of the thumbs up. Very confident in herself, she chose to perform one of Whitney Houston’s songs, which honestly only added to the anticipation of whether this will be one of those performances worth getting all the yeses.

Once her voice filled the air with the lyrics of “I Have Nothing,” everyone was getting even more certain how this was going to be a performance to remember. She sounded awesome, despite the little bundle pushing up against her diaphragm.

Opting to sing Whitney’s song in front of the judges who get paid to be brutally honest and tell you what’s wrong with your singing and all those improvements you need to do for your next performance, in case you get the chance to return once again, is pretty brave.

Those high notes typical for Whitney are really challenging to carry and require plenty of deep belly breaths. Now imagine trying to nail them while carrying a baby that’s taking up all your extra oxygen. But it seemed as though that little bundle was the reason this mommy sang so well. We hope her child will grow up to be one of her most loyal fans in case she decides to pursue a career in the music industry.

The audience and all of the judges became aware of the powerful vocal she possesses so they greeted her with loud ovations and even louder applause. This includes that one judge who looked as though he wasn’t approving of her taking the stage while pregnant.

She managed to make everyone’s day and put huge smile on everyone’s face. We wish she achieves everything she puts her mind to and be as successful as on this stage.

This child will be happy to be having such a brave and determined mother.

4-Year-old boy’s advice to his baby brother about grandma has gone viral

Big brothers are the best. Having one in your life means having someone you can always rely on no matter how tough things get.

When they are young, siblings may not really understand the importance of being in each other’s life, but as they get older, they do become aware of how blessed they truly are.

Fighting over toys is something all siblings go through and teasing is just another part of growing old together. And the best part is that all this will turn into the sweetest memories every siblings share.

If you have an older brother, than this video is just for you. We do believe that what adorable 4-year-old Ari has to say to his baby brother Finn is true for any brothers out there. The way he loves and cares for little Finn comes in the form of valuable advice he has to give to the little one. That these two are not blood related doesn’t change the fact that they are brothers.

This is both touching and hilarious at the same time. Once mommy Kristina is out of Ari’s sight, he starts his “man to man” conversation with Finn, and boy he’s got a lot to say.

We are sure all these smart lessons will come in handy one day.

If you wonder what could a 4-year-old teach his younger sibling here you have it. The smart boy starts by warning Finn how mom and dad are likely to say “no” to a good number of things he is going to ask from them, but that’s not a big deal, because granny will always be there to say “yes.”

And if this isn’t concerning enough, the fact that Finn would have to clean his own bottom once he gets older seems to leave the young boy mortified.

Now Ari gets to one thing that annoys him a great deal, and it would probably annoy Finn as well. If you are not assuming, let us tell you, that’s the baby talk parents use with their children. Does it sound sweet to the grown ups? Probably yes! Do children find it cute? Well, that’s a big no.

And when it comes to taking naps, Ari tells Finn how he shouldn’t do it because he “might miss out on something interesting.” We say wait until you are older, you are going to regret every nap you didn’t take.

This becomes all too emotional to handle when smart Ari says, “even though we’re not related, we’re still brothers.”

We are sure that Finn is the luckiest little brother having someone so special like Ari by his side.

Target employee challenges little girl to a dance off

I remember those days when I could just go shopping all by myself or accompanied by my girlfriends. Those would be fun times indeed. Trying things on, or buying groceries we’d love to make delicious dishes with.

But now that we are all moms, doing shopping is something we don’t really enjoy. Why? Because it has to be done really quickly, or the kids would start throwing tantrums. You know, they don’t really find it appealing walking around the aisles without touching every single thing.

A mother named Stefanie is well too aware of the troubles young kids are making while at the store, so she wasn’t really looking forward to the trip.

Stefanie needed to grab some stuff so they visited Target. While there, she thought it would be nice if she bought her little Evallyn some toys that she loved. Needless to say, she really had fun buying her dolls, but once mommy turned to the products she needed, Evallyn got bored and became restless.

Her mother was doing her best to get everything from her shopping list as fast as she could so that the two could head home.

And just as this woman though this was one of her most unpleasant shopping trips, something amazing happened.

One of the Target employees could see that Stefanie needed help so she stepped in and tried to entertain lovely Evallyn. She got the little girl’s attention by inviting her to a dance-off. Knowing how competitive young children can be, this was the best idea A.J could come up with.

Both A.J and Evallyn showed some really crazy dance moves. It was obvious they had so much fun doing this. Customers would stop by and watch the new friends dancing and everyone though this was very sweet.

Once the ‘dancing competition’ was done, A.J asked the girl if she was in for another round. The girl was more than happy to show off her skills once again.

Stefanie was amazed by the employee’s kind gesture. She couldn’t really finish her shopping because this was way too good to miss, so she just stood there by the cart and knew she had to film this very special encounter.

What was supposed to be just another tiring day turned into an experience these mother and daughter will never forget. It may be just a dancing with a stranger, but these kinds of interactions usually have strong positive impact on children.

It is so nice to hear of stories like this where random people make someone’s day.

This is another story that comes from the salon of the Makeover Guy who never ceases to make our jaws drop every time we see the stunning transformations he does. We do hope he understands that he isn’t only transforming someone’s hairstyle, the form of their rather thin brows, or the way they choose their outfits, but their whole life.

This multi talented man started his career as a hairstylist back in 1990, after he opened his Christopher Hopkins Salon. Ever since, he does wonders and lifts many women’s spirits up.

His Minneapolis studio is the place where the change happens. There, he offers numerous packages that include haircut, make-up, dyeing, and advice on how to rock your clothes and what really fits your figure and your style. You are going to leave the place flabbergasted and unable to recognize yourself as well as richer for a great amount of valuable knowledge on how to do the looks by yourself.

People are going crazy over the transformations Christopher posts on his YouTube channel and everyone wants to be part of his mission of making people happier and more self-confident than ever.

Ann is just another satisfied client. She says how meeting Christopher was a life-changing encounter. She now regularly visits the Makeover Guy who has become her close friend ever since he cut her hair for the first time. Her transformation left her daughter with an open mouth.

He knows how to make everyone feels as though they are his most valuable clients. Whoever visited his salon, always gets back.

Mary is another lucky woman that got to be part of his show. Her hairstyle and the dye she was using for her hair were the same for way too long. A change was something her hair and face needed really badly, and she was certain how Christopher was the only stylist who could make her feel young again. Interestingly, as he says it himself, “The shorter I went the better it got, she just has that great head shape that can wear a real pixie cut.”

Needless to say, Mary simply loved her new looks. Never did she believe how great this platinum color would fit her face. Plus, she confesses how her husband really wanted her to have her hair cut, so we assume he’s gonna fell in love with the way she looks. The two have been married for 27 years now, so this comes as a unique wedding anniversary gift.

Christopher showed Mary that even though what we have inside is the most important thing, looking nice on the outside only reflects our inner beauty.

People often believe how celebrities have it all done for them and how they have it easy in life only because they are rich. But we all know too well that money can’t buy everything.

This has to be the message Mike Fisher wanted to send to his and his wife’s fans out there. Recently, he took it to Instagram to share with the world how the couple felt and what they had to go through before the birth of their second child, Jacob Bryan.

The former hockey player spoke about their heartbreak and all the moments spent in anticipation which is just another proof that these people are not that much different than us.

Posting a sweet photo of him and his baby boy snuggling together he wrote:

“Jacob Bryan Fisher! You are a gift from our Lord! The last few years has had its challenges and it makes this moment even more sweet!”

The couple wanted this baby so badly that they are now over the moon having him in their arms, but they are well aware that it was a rough path they had to undergo before this joyous moment took place.

“We didn’t know if Izzy would ever have another sibling but we learned through it all that God is in control and his timing is perfect! He is good all the time even in the difficult times that are hard to understand.”

Izzy, or Isaiah Michael, is Mike and Carrie’s firstborn son, who is now three and a half years old.

Carrie openly spoke about her miscarriages between 2017 and 2018. The couple was fighting the battle against infertility and it wasn’t an easy one. In an interview with CBS Sunday, the country music star reacted to their hurdles saying how she was truly blessed, despite all the struggles they faced.

“My son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing. And he’s the best thing in the world. And I’m like, ‘If we can never have any other kids, that’s okay, because he’s amazing.'”

Having a caring husband, a lovely child, and being surrounded with so many people who were by her side all along, the 35-year-old wife and a mom said how there wasn’t anything she should be mad about. Her life was complete, despite her wish of having another child seemed to be out of reach.

During the period of agony, Carrie experienced another pain. In November 2017 she had an accident in their Nashville, Tennessee home after she took a tumble on the steps. She broke her wrist and had to undergo a surgery. But she also got stitches on her face.

When she started feeling things were just going downhill, she suddenly realized that’s how life works. You simply experience ups and downs and now she just had to wait for that period to pass knowing good things are just around the corner.

And she was right. At the end, they have their bundle of joy in their lives and everything seems just right. The Grammy winner wrote:

“Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday … his mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle! Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good…”

Congratulations on your new baby Carrie and Mark, we hope your life will only bring great things along the way.
