Heartrending Clip Of First Responders Entering The Twin Towers Before They Collapsed

Today, 18 years after the terrorist attacks that made all the American citizens breath as one soul, we remember the sacrifice of those who lost their lives in the attempt to save others’; the nation’s pride and joy, the first responders.

On that disastrous 9/11 the whole nation stood together as feelings of sadness and grief filled the morning air. And as confused people were running for their life, the firefighters were bravely entering the burning buildings trying to save what could be saved.

The eyes of the whole planet were on America. People were praying for the victims and their families and everyone was aware that day would be marked as one of the saddest in the history of the United Nations.

To honor the brave first responders and to pay tribute to all the innocent lives lost during the tragedy, a person made a touching video that triggers tears to roll down your face. Despite the horror and the panic seen in the eyes of the onlookers, it also shows cops and firemen entering the burning buildings moments before they collapsed.

Touching, indeed.

17-month-old injured in Texas shooting is out of surgery and recovering

The shooting that took place in West Texas on August 31, 2019 left the whole country in distress. An armed man named Seth Ator was driving around shopping centers in Midland and Odessa shooting from his car. Among the 25 people injured was the 17-month-old girl named Anderson Davis.

She sustained injuries to her chest and bottom lip when a shrapnel hit her in the face.

Sadly, seven people, among which three police officers, were killed before the police shot the gunman dead in front of a movie theater.

It was later reported that he was mentally distressed and was fired from his job just hours before he went on the killing spree.

Luckily, little Anderson survived the attack. Ector County Sheriff Mike Griffis said in a statement that she was now home and recovering.

Anderson’s parents, Kelby and Garret Davis, told CBS News they are happy and relieved their girl is doing fine, but they are at the same time sad for the families of those who lost their loved ones in the attack. “We hurt so badly for the families whose loved ones didn’t survive this tragedy.

“We are thankful for our beautiful baby girl and look forward to reuniting her at home with her twin brother soon.”

We are so happy for Anderson and we wish she recovers completely. We hope she would be able to forget the ordeal with time and it won’t affect her childhood and her life.

Way to go Anderson, you are one of the bravest little children we’ve ever heard of.

5-year-old boy riddled with cancer ‘from his nose to his knees’ is now all clear

Mom Alice Phillips and dad Ricky Wetherley describe their 5-year-old son as the most vibrant young child out there. Freddie loves what most his peers do and that’s running around, hanging out with his friends, and going on fairground rides.

So, when this perfectly healthy boy started complaining of pain in his legs, his parents believed it was because he was very active. One day, however, after he refused going on the fairground rides because as he said he’s legs were sore, that raised the red flag. Something was really wrong and Alice and Rick knew Freddie had to visit a doctor.

Sadly, the family got the most devastating news. Little Freddie had an aggressive form of cancer known as neuroblastoma. This rare form of the life-threatening disease affects around 100 children in the UK annually.

The family’s hearts broke into million pieces when the initial scans showed that the illness had affected all his body. They recall the doctors’ words who said that the cancer spread “from his nose to his knees.”

The odds of survival weren’t in Freddy’s favor. But neither this little fighter, nor his loving parents ever thought of giving up. The boy had gone through various treatments and he’s now cancer free.

“He has done wonderfully well and made an amazing recovery and we are very proud of him,” his parents told Daily Mail.

The treatments Freddy had to go through were long and painful, but at the end, it was all worth it.

After he was transferred to Great Ormond Street hospital, he immediately started a 70-day cycle of chemotherapy. Later, at Christmas, he had undergone a stem-cell transplant, and in February of this year, he had his stomach tumor removed.

“He was sick and exhausted through the treatment, but he has handled everything really well,” Alice explained.

She added that talking to his two year old sister named Freya on Facetime helped Freddy a lot. She was his support and he was looking forward to their talks every single day.

Now, sweet Freddy can get back to what he loved doing the most. He’s back to school and doesn’t miss a football match with his friends.

“When we first saw that body scan, we didn’t think there was much hope,” Alice continued.

“He really is our little miracle.”

We are extremely happy for this brave boy and his family who never gave up and never lost hope. Please share this story in support of Freddy.

BF takes pictures with engagement ring in front of his GF without her noticing (22 pics)

When a guy named Edi Okoro started dating his girlfriend Cally Read, he knew he wanted to spend the eternity with her. Well, he also knew he was ready to pop the question so he bought a mesmerizing engagement ring. But, it looked like asking her to marry him wasn’t an easy task to do as he wanted it to be something really special. So, he decided to wait for the perfect moment. Along the way, that waiting turned into an interesting game of taking pictures of Cally and the ring without her ever noticing that.

And yes, he’s willing to share those pictures with all of us. Amazing, isn’t it?

Sharing his cute story with Bored Panda, Edi said: “We met at athletics. We both competed at a very high level and traveled to competitions together. Both also ran for Birchfield Harriers AC.”

“I knew she was the one after I realized our conversations didn’t dry up and we bounced off each other.”

He also said that Cally was really close at noticing the ring at few occasions, but that never happened.

Edi shot a few videos too.

If you wonder when and why people started proposing with diamond rings, here’s the story. Back in 1477 Archduke Maximilian of Austria proposed to Mary of Burgundy with stones shaped in the form of M. But it wasn’t until the 19th century when diamonds were discovered in South Africa that ordinary people started saving for such rings to pop the question.

The trend became even more popular when the company DeBeers launched the ad that said, “A diamond if forever.”

Edi shared some great news with those following his story telling that he finally asked his loved one to marry him.

Her response was a resounding YES!

“This engagement turned out more than what I originally intended it to be,” Edi concluded. “I’m just happy that I don’t have to walk around with [the ring] anymore and keep it a secret!”

People from all over the country took their time to congratulate the couple.

Mom films her twins in bed – they suddenly start ‘talking’ to each other

The bond created between siblings is one of the strongest, but it looks like twins are connected to even deeper level. Growing up around a brother or a sister means having a best friend for life and someone you can always turn to when things get tough.

The parents of twin babies Grayson and Griffin shared a heartwarming video of their two bundles of joy ‘talking’ to each other and it’s way too cute to handle. Although the boys are way too young to be able to speak, they still found a way to communicate to one another, and it seems the two understand each other just perfectly as they can’t stop laughing at what they have to say.

We hope their connection will only grow stronger as they grow up.

You can see them speaking in the video below.

Make sure you share it with your friends and make their day.

4-year-old boy survives hit-and-run after being dragged down street by a truck

With the beauty of becoming a parent comes the constant worry for the well-being of the little ones.

Recently, one mom named Jennifer Moore experienced what every mom and dad out there fears of. Her 4-year-old child didn’t get off the bus at the bus stop where she was waiting for him.

This mom immediately knew something was wrong. She tried to keep calm and approached the bus driver who told her to look for he boy at the last stop the bus had made.

There, she came across her child lying in the middle of the road with concerned and terrified passersby gathered around him.

“When I turned the corner, my son was laying in the middle of the road with a group of people around him because a truck hit him and took off,” Jennifer said.

The truck driver stuck Joseph and dragged him down the road after which he fled the scene without even checking whether the boy was alive or not.

Jennifer just can’t understand how someone can be so cruel.

Speaking of the person who hurt her child and left him there in the middle of the road, Jennifer said: “They’re a coward, they’re an animal. They have no regards for the human race, period.”

Authorities are doing their best to solve the case and track the truck driver down, but they only have little information on who he might be. Witnesses said he was driving a blue Chevy S-10, and currently, that’s all they know.

Joseph was rushed at the nearest hospital after the accident took place and he ended up with a broken femur and severe road rash, but thankfully, he recovers pretty well.

The boy clearly remembers what happened on that day, saying how he got off at the wrong bus stop and tried to cross the road. He looked left and right and as there were no vehicles, he started walking. But then, out of the blue, the pick-up that was speeding struck him.

“He saw a blue truck coming and so he tried to run the rest of the way across the street. He said, ‘Mommy, it didn’t slow down and it knocked me over and dragged me on the ground and then I fell asleep,” Jennifer said.

We wish little Joseph well and we hope the person responsible would be soon brought to justice.

Body of missing 3-year-old found in pond 200 yards from her home

3-year-old Vivian Fitzenrider had gone missing around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Her parents believed their red-headed girl was in the house, but it wasn’t until 30 minutes later that they realized she was actually missing.

They believe she left the place all by herself and after they failed tracking her down, the Mountain Grove Fire Department got involved into the search that lasted less than 24 hours when the lifeless body of the girl was found in a pond 200 yards from her Missouri home.

The sad news came on Wednesday, at around 7 a.m, and it left the family and the whole community heartbroken. The 200 volunteers that joined in the search felt like they failed.

Mountain Grove Fire Department took to Facebook to inform people of the tragedy. They posted with heavy hearts and expressed their condolences.

Currently, the Missouri Highway Patrol, Mountain Grove Police Department, and the Wright County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the case, though they believe Vivian’s death was an accident.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Vivian’s family. We hope no other parents would ever have to go through such grief and loss ever again.

3-year-old boy is hospitalized after woman stabs him in the face in a random street attack

A gruesome footage of a woman stabbing a 3-year-old boy in the face has left the whole world speechless. The incident took place on the streets of Tbilisi Georgia, but the video has gone viral in a matter of days and it’s now all over the social media.

The attacker was identified as a 51-year-old woman. Her family and relatives describe her as a nice person and they can’t believe what she did, nor they know why she did it.

The poor boy who was the victim of this random attack simply found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Unfortunately, the cuts across his nose and cheek were very deep and the boy had to be hospitalized.

The CCTV footage that was captured by a nearby pharmacy shows the woman walking past the victim and his family and taking the knife out very suddenly. It all happened so quickly that there wasn’t time for the parents to react in time to take the boy away. The crazy woman even tried to finish what she started as she tried to approach the scared boy again, but this time, the parents managed to stop her.

Onlookers were left in a complete shock as they couldn’t believe what had just happened in front of their eyes.

The attacker then run away but the police tracked her down the following day. She now faces up to ten years in prison if convicted.

The family of the victim claims they have never seen that woman before and just cant’t believe a complete stranger could do such horrific thing to such a young boy.

The boy underwent a surgery but will stay in the hospital until he feels better.

We pray for your full recovery brave boy!

6-year-old throws new pencil-case in the trash, so mom teaches her a lesson

Being a parent is challenging. And as kids grow old, those challenges only get tougher and tougher. No matter how much their moms and dads try to satisfy their needs, kids can be really ungrateful at times. And this type of behavior they show is not really a result of bad parenting, but it’s a period they simply go through.

A mom from Florida was looking forward to the start of the new school year and was over the moon when she finally managed to find that LOL pencil-case her little one wanted so badly. Once home, she handed it to her six-year-old daughter and expected a huge hug in return. But what she got in response, left this mother overwhelmed. Instead of saying ‘thank you,’ the girl named Presleigh did the unimaginable. She took the pencil-case and threw it in the garbage.

Mom Haley knew she taught her little one better than that, and she was determined to teach her a lesson she would never forget.

Sharing the story on Facebook, Haley wrote: “She stared at it and threw it in the trash and slammed the bedroom door. She yelled “that’s stupid, everyone in my class has that … I don’t want it anymore!”

This was the first time for Presleigh to show such behavior as Haley has always taught her to be humble and grateful for the things she gets in life.

The mom said: “I thought I had always taught her to be grateful [and] know how lucky she was but apparently sis needed a small wake up call.”

Now, as that cool accessory that everyone was crazy about wasn’t good enough for Presleigh, Haley decided to replace it with something less cooler; a zip-lock plastic bag that she could use to keep her pencils in while at school.

Seeing her new ‘pencil-case’ made the girl realize she wanted the LOL one, but it was already too late.

“I explained to her she’s not entitled to anything special and she is taking for granted how lucky she is… I will personally deliver the nice box to a child that could benefit from it,”Haley explained.

“Maybe I over react sometimes but I would’ve done anything to have all the things she does as a child. I truly believe changing your perception [and] just being grateful can turn around any situation in life.”

Parents have to take drastic measures from time to time in order to teach their children the core values they should live by.

And we are perfectly aware the little ones believe they are being punished, but over time, they realize that everything their parents do is for their own good.

Vegan Who Sued Neighbors over Barbecue Smell Loses Court Appeal

A vegan woman from Perth, Australia, named Cilla Carden took legal action against her meat eating neighbors for making barbecue in their back yard. According to Carden, her stay at her yard became unbearable because of the smell of grilled meat and cigarettes and that made her took drastic measures. She as well complained of the neighbors’ kids running and playing outside. Speaking to 9News, she said, “It’s been devastating, it’s been turmoil, it’s been unrest, I haven’t been able to sleep.”

Carden’s case, however, wasn’t convincing and was thrown by the State Administrative Tribunal. One of her neighbors who wanted to stay anonymous says her demands ‘were proven to be not reasonable and and indeed were to the detriment of the other owners’ ability to enjoy their lots in a reasonable and acceptable manner.’

But Carden was determined to stop at nothing to regain her piece and quiet. Not only she sued them again, but this time she also asked from the nearby families to dim their patio lighting, keep their pets quiet, and stop putting many plants in the common garden.

The appeal she submitted on March 29 of this years was rejected on July 29 by Chief Justice Peter Quinlan. He said that the 400 pages of evidence were ‘well in excess of anything that might be thought to be proportionate to the issues’.

According to The tribunal, letting children play in the patio ‘didn’t constitute reasonably a nuisance.’

Now, even one of the families forbade their kids from playing basketball and moved their barbecue, Carden is still not happy and is planning on taking additional legal action.

Michael Bublé newest video has parents all over the world sobbing about their kids growing up

Michael Bublé, one of our favorite musicians, has released a new song and a video that have gone viral and have parents all over the world sobbing. The touching piece of music speaks of the love parents have for their little ones and how fast they grow up and move on with their own life.

“Forever Now” triggers strong emotions. Parents’ whose kids go back to school or off to college relate to the lyrics and to the visual representation of what it really feels like to see their children become independent individuals.

The hit that was uploaded on YouTube in March of this year is a reminder that we should spend as much time with our kids as possible because time flies really fast and we may miss some of the best moments we can have with them without even being aware of it.

The video shows how a child’s room changes over the years. From the cute nursery filled with teddy bears and a bunch of toys, to a teenager’s nest.

The lyrics go like this:

“I just met you, seems like yesterday. You opened up your eyes and I recognized your face. You know that you’re the one that we’ve been waiting for; we’re going to keep you safe.”

We challenge you to watch it until the very end without sobbing.

This really makes you think of the ‘limited’ time you get to spend with your children. So, make sure you grab every opportunity to be by their side.

“It wasn’t so long ago, we walked together and you held my hand, and now you’re getting too big to want to.”

Touching, indeed, isn’t it?

12-year-old comes to rescue of a toddler trapped in a hot car

According to statistics, on average, 38 children younger than 15 die each year of heatstroke after being locked and trapped in hot vehicles. Although these numbers are concerning and devastating, we still hear of moms and dads who somehow happen to forget their little ones in the car during hot summer days when the temperatures rise and the heat index goes very high.

Most times, the reason why kids are left alone in hot vehicles is because the parents aren’t even aware of the dangers and believe the children are perfectly safe while waiting for their moms and dads to run errands and go shopping. But, sometimes it takes a little for a tragedy to struck.

A few days ago, another case of a toddler trapped in a car during a hot day was reported. Luckily, it didn’t turn out fatal all thanks to a 12-year-old boy who stopped a tragedy from taking place.

Namely, Ben Theriot and his mom were getting to their car at a store’s parking lot when they heard strange cries coming from a parked vehicle. They both knew something was wrong and someone was in trouble so they decided to see where those noises were coming from.

The sight left them pretty concerned. A two-year-old boy was sitting inside one of the cars all alone and they could say he was terrified. His mom left him there while she was shopping inside the store.

Luckily, Ben didn’t panic. The only thing on his mind was to get the crying boy out.

He grabbed a ratchet strap and started pounding on the car’s windshield as hard as he could.

Breaking that glass, however, was harder than Ben though. But, he just knew he had to do its best to crack it. The quick-thinking boy then got on top of the car and started hitting the windshield with his feet until it broke through.

As he finally managed to open the doors and get the boy out of the car, Ben’s mother called the police who arrived at the scene in a matter of minutes.

Everyone felt relieved when they realized the two-year-old was fine. But if it wasn’t for Ben and his mom, things could have turned out for the worse.

The police tracked the mom down and questioned her regarding the incident.

The mother said how she believed she didn’t actually leave her child unattended as she though there was another adult there with him. But with the heat index reaching 116 degrees that day, there really was no space for ‘thinking.’ She had to be sure the boy wasn’t in any sort of danger before heading to that store.

As a result of her negligence, she was fined with $250 under Oklahoma’s “Forget Me Not” law of 2008. The law clearly states it’s forbidden for young children and vulnerable adults to be left in vehicles unattended.

The boy was allowed to go home with his mother but social services would further investigate whether that was a one time incident and would make sure the mother keeps closer eye on her kid. We hope she learned her lesson!

You can take a look at the whole story in the video below.

Deaf mom left in tears after being denied service at a Burger King drive-thru

Living with an impairment can be challenging. Unfortunately, people nowadays are not that considerate towards those who cope with certain disability. A woman named Rachel Hollis, who is hearing-impaired, experienced humans’ lack of empathy first hand when she tried to get some food at a Burger King drive-thru in Oklahoma.

Rachel typed her order out on her phone and handed it to the employee. But instead of getting what she ordered, she was given a piece of paper with something written on it.

At that moment, she felt so humiliated that she could barely hold her tears back.

The employee was looking at her with aversion and instead of serving her, he slammed the window and started yelling.

Rachel somehow knew things would turn for the worst so she hit the record button on her phone.

Handling her the note that said, “I can’t do a full order at the window. It’s too busy,” that rude server expected from Rachel to just leave. But as she stayed where she was, he told her to come inside and then called the police.

Completely unaware of what she did wrong, this mother was left overwhelmed.

She didn’t want to show any weakness in front of that rude person so she did her best not to cry, but once she left the place, she just couldn’t stop her tears from rolling down her face.

“I was very upset, I was crying, I was tired. I’m tired of discrimination,” she explained. “I’ve never experienced anything like that, for someone to call the police. That’s crazy, it just doesn’t seem right,” she told KFOR.

Later, after the public learned of the incident, Burger King said in a statement for KFOR that they fired the employee.

“All guests should be treated with respect and provided with a high level of service at our restaurants. The restaurant owner has reached out to the guest and her family to apologize, the employee was terminated and all employees at the location will undergo additional sensitivity training to ensure our customers always feel welcomed.”

We can never understand those people who enjoy hurting and humiliating others. We are glad that rude employee got sacked, because that’s exactly what he deserved.

Little boy holds hand of a crying classmate

First day of school can be either a cheerful or a scary experience. Being surrounded by so many new, unfamiliar faces can cause distress at young children who are starting a new chapter of their life. But it’s especially challenging for kids with autism who are not as outgoing as the rest of their peers.

Connor Crites is an 8-year-old boy from Kansas who found it hard to blend with his schoolmates on his first day of school. He’s now a student in the second grade of Minneha Elementary School in Wichita, Kansas. Starting the new year, Connor couldn’t help by feel terrified of the new surrounding, so instead of running around in excitement, he moved into a quiet corner and began to cry.

And as the rest of the students didn’t even notice the boy in distress because they were pretty much busy minding their own business, one very special boy took a notice of Connor and stepped in.

Thinking Connor might be in need of a friend, Christian took his hand and the two entered the school building together.

Seeing such a young boy showing compassion for a peer he’s never met before was the cutest thing ever. Luckily, Christian’s mom, Courtney Moore, saw what her son did and took a picture of the boys holding hands.

“I saw him on the ground with Connor as Connor was crying in the corner and he was consoling him. He grabs his hand and walks him to the front door.

We waited until the bell rang and he walked him inside of the school. The rest is history. They have an inseparable bond,” Moore told KAKE-TV.

After she shared the cute photo on the social media, lots of people praised Christian for the kindness he showed to Connor. Among those people was Connor’s mother herself.

“I fear every day that someone is going to laugh at him because he doesn’t speak correctly, or laugh at him because he doesn’t sit still or because he jumps up and down and flaps his hands,” Crites told to KAKE-TV.

It’s truly amazing and inspiring to know that there are young kids like Christian who know how to help someone in need.

It’s true when they say that even a single act of kindness can go a long way.

Remains of missing fallen soldier from Korean War returned home, airline’s response is tear-jerking

The remains of a soldier who took part in the Korean War have been found 63 years after he’d gone missing. The sacrifice he made for this country has been greeted by the Honor Guard of the Delta Air Lines. They gathered at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia and paid tribute to the fallen soldier.

In another, smaller casket, were bone fragments of another soldier whose body was already buried. Both caskets were covered in U.S Flags.

The video has touched many Americans who are aware of the sacrifice soldiers do for the well-being of our land and its people.

When you enjoy the comfort of your home during holidays and family gatherings, think of those people in the military who don’t get to see their loved ones in months, or even years. And they do all that so that ordinary citizens like you and I could sleep peacefully at night.

The heartbreaking scene shows members of the Delta Honor Guard receiving the caskets, lowering the flags, and reading a prayer for those who lost their life during the war.

Country music star Vince Gill told to not mention Jesus – his response causes a standing ovation

When Vince Gill first appeared on the music scene as a part of the country rock band Pure Prairie League back in 1979, it was certain he would last. He makes the crowds cheer in excitement any time he lets his powerful vocal loose and his performances are truly one of a kind.

With more than 20 albums under his belt, Gill steals the hearts of people from all over the country. Recently, this talented musician, who is also a devoted Christian, incorporated more gospel music into his appearances, and people seem to love it.

The audience was thrilled to have him perform at the Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville Tennessee because they knew he was about to prepare a show to remember.

But, the bosses told him he should stay away from his religious songs and avoid singing anything about Jesus.

Gill could have appear on that stage and do what he was told, but instead, he opted to listen to his instinct and did something truly memorable that had everyone on their feet.

Soon, the powerful and touching melody and lyrics of “Why Me Lord” could be heard filling the place. The song that was initially performed and recorded by Kris Kristofferson in 1972 and Gill’s vocal skills did magic.

He got a standing ovations and the video of the performance was quickly shared all over the Internet.

We all praise Gill for staying true to his faith and we thank him for the great music he has given to us over the years.

Baby born at 24 weeks weighing only a pound just celebrated her first birthday

Baby Amina who was born 16 weeks prematurely weighing only one pound, 10 ounces is celebrated as God’s miracle. Her mommy, Taylor Dobson said how her little bundle of joy had a heart defect and a brain bleed and no one believed she would survive. But sweet Amina proved everyone wrong, as no matter how tiny, she never stopped fighting for her life.

After spending 10 weeks at the hospital, Anima could finally go home with her parents. During the stay there, doctors used something unusual to keep her warm and safe. No matter how strange and unusual it sounds, that thing was a sandwich bag. This wasn’t the first time, however, for this kitchen utility to be used for helping premature babies.

“The night before Amina was born, I was admitted to the lanour ward and told that I was having contractions, but that they would try to stop them by using magnesium for the next 24 hours,” Taylor told The Sun.

“They assured me that I should stop the labour process from happening. I was admitted around 5 p.m and my contractions kept getting closer and closer all night long. By 9 a.m my doctor came in and did an ultrasound of Amina saying that she was actually kicking herself out of my cervix.

They told me I had an infection and that she needed to be delivered via an emergency C-section immediately or she was at risk of catching it too.”

The moment Amina was born, the doctors took her into NICY and hooked her up to breathing tubes. As the baby was taken away from Taylor, the only thing she prayed for was for that little girl to stay alive.

“She was placed in the plastic sandwich bag to keep her warm because it helps mimic the mum’s womb,” Dobson explained.

Taylor was able to take her sweet daughter into her hands on the fourth day, and that was the most amazing feeling ever.

“Amina spent five days intubated with a ventilator before moving to a CPAP breathing machine. After she was on CPAP, I was able to hold her and do skin-to-skin every day.

I would make sure I came to the hospital at least two, sometimes three or four times a day. Amina did amazingly well in her first few days – they call it the ‘honeymoon stage’ where things can appear really good, then go bad.”

Luckily, the defects that she had at birth, a valve in the heart and a brain bleed, healed on their own.

The moment she was discharged from hospital, Amina weighted 3 pounds.

Once home, the little girl’s condition improved with each passing day.

“Since she’s been home, she has thrived in every single way possible” Dobson said. “Amina no longer needs to see a cardiologist, optimologist, or any speaciality doctor. She’s now one and as healthy as can be.”

Sweet Amina, we congratulate you on your birthday and wish you all the best life brings. Happy first year of your life and many more to come!

Couple’s fancy dancing wins Grand Nationals

No matter how much you love dancing, the chances of ever achieving the excellence of the shag dancing couple Charles Womble and Jackie McGee is almost impossible.

These two paired some 40 years ago and they are still wowing the crowds whenever they hit the dance floor.

Winning hundreds of competitions over the years, they are even members of the Swing Dance Hall of Fame.

This particular dance style that they perform known as shag first arose in the couple’s hometown of South Carolina and it is believed that it originated
within the African American community of the Carolinas in the 1920s.

What is unique about this style is that it doesn’t have formal moves, but it involves quick and complex routines that leave spectators speechless.

When they took the floor at the Grand Nationals Masters Division, Womble and McGee first exchanged a quick hug and then launched in their well-known moves. What’s truly amazing is that the two came out of “retirement” just to treat the spectators of this show.

The style requires glides and dips hard to excel, but when it comes to this couple, nothing is impossible. Looking at them turning and twirling makes it all look like a piece of cake. It doesn’t come as a surprise that they went undefeated for 12 years in a row.

The couple smiles all the way through their enchanting performance and they perfectly communicate their moves through their eyes. It’s obvious the two wholeheartedly enjoy what they are doing.

The video of their performance at the Grand National Masters from 2013 that you can watch below has been seen by more than 2.2 million people. Fans from all over the world took their time to comment and express their amazement.

“I have watched a lot of couples doing the Shag but this is the best of them all… Their moves are so effortless and smooth… They just glide across the dance floor together and need I add how they compliment each other as well… Bravo to Charlie & Jackie Womble,” one person wrote.

“I just opened my iPad to this amazing and energetic dancing!!!!!! And I just love it!!!!!!!!! Charlie you and Jackie rock’!!!!!! I am crazy for the two of you!!!!!!!! And Jackie, you have your self one sexy man!!!!! You got yourself one big fan out of South Africa!!!!!! Keep up the good thing you guys are doing.” said another.

Not only ordinary people who enjoy watching people dance gave their comment on this stunning performance, but dance masters, too. One said:

“Really impressive demo of dance. I like any dance that looks smooth. I teach a few styles and I appreciate the effort that’s gone into their dancing. Well done.”

Among all those awards that they equally cherish are that of the Shaggers Hall of Fame, 2 Nationals Senior Championships, and a lifetime achievement award from the Society of Stranders (a shag dance society).

They have appeared on Good Morning America and the CBS Morning Show, and now enjoy spending their days being ambassadors for the dance style.

Boy draws huge crowd as he plays Queen hit on a public piano

Young children showing incredible skills at playing instruments is always a delight to watch and listen to.

Cole Lam is a young pianist whose talent is described by many as unique. Videos of his enchanting performances can not only be seen on his YouTube channel that counts more than one million followers, by passersby who find themselves at the public places Lam plays at.

This time, Lam could be spotted playing the piano at London’s St. Pancras International Station. But, as it turned out, this particular performance was unlike any of his previous public shows.

Namely, as young Lam was showing off his talent, an elderly gentleman approached and tapped him on the shoulder asking him to play Queen’s greatest hit “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Needless to say, Lam was more than happy to do it.

The attention of all those people rushing around the place was then caught by the incredible music produced on that grand piano that once belonged to the music legend Elton John himself. We bet this was the first time for such a powerful melody to be heard from that instrument since John donated it to the station back in 2016.

It’s obvious the onlookers are a bit stunned and wonder how can someone so young deliver such performance in front of a huge crowd. As the melody progresses, it only gets better and better, and all those people’s smiling faces are just a prove of that.

What is interesting about Lam is that the piano is not the only instrument he mastered. If you are lucky enough, you may see him rocking the clarinet and the guitar, or even singing at various public places.

Everyone is eager to listen more of what Lam has to offer. Many even chose to put the performance on tape so that they could watch it over and over again.

By the way, the song is one that is truly iconic. You can see the crowd knows the lyrics by heart as they try to join in Lam by singing. However, they are perfectly aware that his playing is so great that they don’t want to ruin it by trying to do an impression of Freddie.

Lam plays the music pretty much as identical as the original one sounds as he’s pounding the keys where Freddie once belted the lyrics and goes soft at the quieter parts of this Queen’s masterpiece.

Looking at the people that gathered around Lam, you can notice that only some of them are tapping their feet. They won’t even move an inch, that’s how enchanted they are by what they are offered at the station where they spent some moments before heading where they all needed to be.

Now, if you wonder why that elderly man requested this particular song at the beginning, it’s because he’s heard Lam playing it before at this same station. In fact, Lam has performed here more than once, and he treated the crowd with other Queen’s hits like “Don’t Stop Me Now” and “Under Pressure.”

The best thing is that he has also performed some Elton John’s songs on his old piano, and that’s quite impressing, don’t you think so?

Now, if you ever see Lam performing, be sure to stop and listen. And if you are not that lucky, just visit his YouTube channel where you can hear him sing too.

Be sure to see the video that has been seen by more than 8 million people in just a few days. Enjoy!

2-year-old boy melts hearts singing Elvis classic

The “King of Rock and Roll,” legendary Elvis Presley left the world a legacy that is popular even today, years after his passing. His legendary music lives on and even members of the youngest generations get to enjoy the memorable melodies and lyrics of his greatest hits.

Daniel is a 2-year-old boy who is still learning how to speak, but that doesn’t stop him from belting Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love With You” without missing a single word or beat.

The boy’s father, Steve Converse, is a musician who believes his role as a parents is to expose the little one to as many things as possible so that he can pick those he’s passionate about. That led to young Daniel getting enchanted with Elvis’ music.

The most amazing thing is that it’s the first time that Daniel ever sings using a microphone.

It’s obvious Daniel inherited his dad’s talent and is a cute performer in the making, but Steve says he doesn’t want to force his son in any direction. He should be a musician only if he feels he wants to, not just because he’s a natural.

Regarding the performance, however, it may not be perfect, but we bet you’ve never seen a better one done by such a young kid.

The iconic song Daniel performed was initially released back in 1961 as part of the King’s album Blue Hawaii and has been considered one of the best of all time. Many famous musicians among which Bob Dylan tried to give this piece of music a new life, and it turned great every time.

All of the versions done throughout the years provoked the same deep emotions at the listeners. But we have to agree that when someone as young as Daniel does a rendition, it’s beyond sweet.

Music fans from all around the world agree that Elvis’ music is timeless. Some of his other hits that are still very popular nowadays are “Jailhouse Rock” and “Love Me Tender.”

As for sweet Daniel, he reminded us that music is the universal language that everyone understands.

You can take a look at his adorable singing in the video below!

Grandparents stop creep who broke in and tried to kidnap their granddaughter

The bond between grandparents and grandchildren is one of the purest and strongest out there. The little ones are well aware of the fact that their grandmas and grandpas are there to buy them a bunch of stuff and spoil them rotten. Above all, in these elderly members of their family, the kids can always find shelter.

That grandparents are ready to go above and beyond for the safety and the well-being of the grandchildren can be clearly seen from the following story. Namely, on the night of June 10th, 37-year-old Benjamin Dillon made a huge mistake when he chose the wrong grandma and grandpa to mess with.

Namely, as Patty Roth and her husband were babysitting their granddaughter, Dillon broke in and tried to kidnap the 6-year-old girl.

Speaking to Fox 59, Roth said how her husband went into “granddaddy beast mode’ and had the creep out of the apartment. He courageously fought the man back until the police arrived.

“I was sound asleep in my bedroom and this guy came kicking in and said, ‘You have my daughter,’ I was nervous, very nervous. I was shaking so bad,” Roth recalled.

The girl, of course, wasn’t his daughter, but he was so high that he got into the wrong apartment.

Luckily, the girl wasn’t hurt and Dillon was soon taken by the police whom he tried to fight. Because of his aggressive behavior, officers used a Taser gun several times to subdue him.

”I don’t understand why he picked our apartment. I’ll never figure that one out. I hope he gets the help he needs and I hope he gets himself back on his feet.”

Although the incident took place in June, the story of Dillon went viral just recently.

Roth believes Dillon should get some help in order to fight his drug addiction, but she’s also giving him a warning, saying:

”I wouldn’t want him walking back in my apartment again. He will regret it the next time.”

I guess the moral of the story is to never mess with grandparents, don’t you think so?
