39-year-old mother of 10 boys dies just days after finally giving birth to a baby daughter

Giving birth has to be one of the most beautiful feelings ever. I guess this is what makes women special.

For a mother of 10, Sonya Harlow, welcoming a baby girl after that many boys was a blessing. She was eagerly waiting to embrace her daughter whom she knew her children and stepchildren would love unconditionally. “She had all boys before this and she prayed for a girl. We named our daughter Eliyanah and she is God’s answer to our prayers. Eliyanah means ‘God has answered,'” husband Spencer told The Bluebonnet News.

The family was getting ready for the new addition and things seemed fine, although the 39-year-old mother experienced some difficulties during the pregnancy, including high blood pressure. Because of that, Sonya stayed home while pregnant, while Spencer, a disabled veteran who served in the 10th Mountain Division of the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, worked to support the family.

When the time came for Sonya to deliver the baby, she was excited. Everything went well and she felt fine.

However, just ten days after the happiest day of their life, Sonya suddenly passed away, leaving her children and her husband heartbroken.

Spencer said how he went to check on her and the baby on November 16, 2020, around 2 a.m. He noticed Sonya didn’t feel fine and in the next moment, she died. “I rolled over and could see she was dying,” Spencer said. “We did CPR on her until the paramedics arrived, but she had flatlined by then. It was too late.” The cause of death is believed to be a postpartum-related medical emergency, but an autopsy will yet to confirm this.

The family set up a GoFundMe page which said that Sonya loved all her children unconditionally and “didn’t consider any of them stepchildren… They were her kids and she loved them with all she had.” Spencer described his wife as the most special person. “Sonya was such a good mother and wife. She was the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known, she was so vibrant and full of life. She was loving, kind and caring.”

So far, $45,658 were raised to help Spencer and his kids. “Since this was so unexpected, there’s no life insurance or money set aside,” read the fundraising page. “Any money raised will be used towards funeral expenses/headstone. And if there’s anything left over It will be used to care for her children.”

We are so very sorry Sonya left this world way too soon and left all her kids behind. Rest in peace.

Their home is the same as it has always been, but something in them changed forever and many have a hard time getting used to their life before their service.

Incredible Jon Bon Jovi is giving the veterans more than a thank you for everything they have done for our country. This amazingly devoted man who is well known for his charity work that helps change the life of many for the better is now stepping in for the homeless veterans.

The singer’s organization, JBJ Soul Foundation, has donated $500,000 to help build a new apartment complex for these people in Washington DC.

During an interview with Jake Tapper from CNN, Jon Bon Jovi spoke of the importance of helping the veterans who are often times left on their own. Many suffer from PTSD and have a hard time making ends meet.

“Life as you knew it is going to be different, and sometimes, people need that extra help,” he said.

The JBJ Soul Foundation along with Help USA are working towards solving the issue with the veterans who are left without a roof over their heads. The facility has been in the making for a decade and it can finally be finished. It won’t only offer housing, but also a host of programs that would help the veterans get their old life back.

Ill-treatment and abuse of 94-year-old lady at a nursing home caught on camera

There’s no better place for the elderly people rather than home. Sadly, when they reach certain age and can no longer take care of themselves, many families decide to place them at nursing homes.

These facilities should provide the elderly with care and make their days there the best possible. But is that always the case? Unfortunately, there are a lot of instances where the nurses and the rest of employees treat the elderly with disrespect.

The family of a lady named Paniben Shah noticed how their mother’s health deteriorated after she was placed at Meera House, a facility home in England. They were suspicious that the staff didn’t treat her the way they were supposed to, and in order to make sure nothing bad was going on, they put a hidden camera on one of the photo frames in Paniben’s room.

What was caught on tape left the family outraged, devastated, and heartbroken. Three of the nurses at the facility were abusing Paniben. They were very violent against her. In one occasion, they poured boiling water on the vulnerable and fragile lady and forced her to eat met although they were perfectly aware she was a vegetarian. On top of that, they called her names and made fun of her.

After the gruesome footage saw the light of the day, the three nurses, Anita Kc Thapa, Anita Bc, and Heena Parekh, were jailed for six, five, and four months, respectively. They all pleaded guilty to ill-treatment of an elderly lady. We hope that they will never ever be allowed to work with people again.

Stepfather charged with murder after beating 16-month-old baby

This is the heartbreaking story of Addison Weast, a sweet girl of 16 months who suffered from the hands of her cruel stepfather Cody Geddings.

Some ten years ago, Addison’s mother left her daughter with her husband Cody, the little girl’s stepfather. Sadly, no one knew that this man would turn violent against the pure soul he was supposed to care for.

On that night of March 31, Cody called an ambulance and reported the baby fell from her crib. When she was taken to the hospital, Addison was so badly injured that none of the doctors could say whether she would survive or not. The injuries were severe and it didn’t look like they could be from a fall. Instead, the girl’s situation spoke that she was beaten and abused.

Sadly, Addison didn’t make it and died just 2 days after she was admitted to the hospital. Cody was convicted and charged for killing her. It was reported how he was violent in the past and this wasn’t the first time for him to abuse the little girl.

Addison’s heartbroken mother divorced the monster who killed her daughter and couldn’t believe how she failed to notice he was a lunatic.

This sad story is a reminder that we should be extra cautious when we trust our children with others, no matter if they are complete strangers or members of the family.

Jealousy has never been a trait related to my nature, and yet, I do envy those people who have a twin sibling. I have always thought that these people are a bit luckier than the rest of us. Just imagine being born with a friend by your side and having to spend each day and share every precious moment worth cherishing with them. It has to be the best thing ever.

It’s not that those who have a younger or older sibling don’t get to experience growing up with someone special and supportive by their side, but still, the connection between twins is truly one-of-a-kind.

If you think we exaggerate, just take a look at this pair of baby twins from the video below. One of the babies, the little brother, is enjoying in his mom’s arms, while his sister is on the couch. And no matter how cozy he feels, he still wonders why his twin isn’t by his side. Mom gets them closer to one another, and that’s when the fun begins. And yes, we are very glad this bonding was caught on tape and shared with us.

When they spot each other, the sister gurgles something and that’s more than enough for the boy to start laughing. His laughter is cute and unstoppable, and soon, the girl joins him. At this point, their action of loud laughing turns courageous.

As this goes on, the baby girl starts crying suddenly, but her brother is there to calm her down and assure her that everything is going to be just fine. Little House on the Prairie was a series that left a long lasting impression on its fans. It depicted a story that we all fell in love with and gave us the adventures of one of the most famous onscreen families ever, the Ingalls.

Most of the actors who were part of the series became huge stars almost overnight and their careers after Little House on the Prairie took off. One of them is Shannen Doherty, who played cute Jenny Wilder, the niece of the niece of Almanzo and Laura Ingalls Wilder, who later adopted her.

Shannen’s talent, along with her high cheekbones, green eyes, and adorable smile, made her one of the most beloved characters. “Shannen, then twelve was an adorable little girl and very sweet. In her pigtails and dress, she would literally walk in my footsteps, following me closer than my shadow. She wanted to know what makeup I wore, what jewelry I liked, and did I prefer my Jordache jeans or my Calvin’s? She looked up to me even though I was in many ways, still a kid myself,” actress Melissa Gilbert who played Laura Ingalls Wilder in the series wrote in her book Prairie Tale.

As a child, Shannen wasn’t really friendly and preferred spending time with herself. She and her brothers lived with their mom in Tennessee, where she was born, but later moved to L.A. and that’s when her career started.

Shannen caught the attention of Michael Landon after starring in Father Murphy at 10 years old. He soon offered her a role in The Little House on the Prairie, and that was her major breakthrough in the world of television.

Soon after, Shannen became even more famous with her iconic role of Brenda Walsh in Beverly Hills, 90210. She was considered tough to work with and was said to be late on set, so after four years on the show, she quit. Instead of being on TV, Shannen was more likely to be seen on the yellow pages of the magazines.

Her next huge role was that in Charmed, but she left that show for the same reasons she left Beverly Hills, 90210.

Shannen was married twice before she finally met the true love of her life, film producer and photographer Kurt Iswarienko. The two tied the knot in 2011 and have been together ever since. Kurt stayed by Shannen’s side during her toughest of times.

The actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and after two years, she told the world she won the battle with the disease. “Cancer solidified us. Kurt and I have a much deeper appreciation for each other now,” the actress said.

Unfortunately, 2019 wasn’t Shannen’s year. Her cancer returned and this time, it is even more aggressive than the first time.

However, the actress shows incredible bravery every single day and despite all the treatments she’s going through, she says she feels healthy. ”I try to treasure all the small moments that most people don’t really see or take for granted,” she said.”The small things are magnified for me. We have this endless well within us, and it’s just about continuing to dig in that well for the strength to face adversity — and so that we can also see all the beauty.”

The cancer crushed her plans of becoming a mother. She confessed how she was planning on having kids with her husband before her diagnosis, but now that’s not possible. ”It’s not possible [for me to get pregnant] because I can’t get out of menopause,” Shannen explained.

”That would require estrogen, and I’m choosing not to take hormone pills — I can’t risk those levels coming up.”

We hope Shannen stays as strong as ever and we pray for her to beat the terrible disease once again.

MasterChef Junior star Ben Watkins dies aged 14 after battling cancer

Ben Watkins was an incredibly talented boy of 14 years who was part of the most famous culinary show MasterChef Junior.

Sadly, sweet Ben passed away after battling a very rare form of cancer known as angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma for a year and a half.

He was diagnosed with the deadly disease which affected his soft tissue shortly after a family tragedy in which he lost both his parents. It was in September 2017 that his mom and dad died of murder-suicide, leaving Ben behind.

He was described by many as a loving and caring boy who was very passionate about cooking. “He never, ever complained. Ben was and will always be the strongest person we know,” the statement released by his grandmother, Donna Edwards, and uncle, Anthony Edwards said.

Ben Watkins, a popular “MasterChef Junior” contestant who lost his parents to a murder-suicide before his season aired, died at age 14 after a rare-cancer battle. 💔

After the loss of his parents, a GoFundMe page was set to help Ben, and now, after his death, it was reorganized again.

Jill Biden considers keeping her job as a teacher even as the FLOTUS

Being a teacher has to be one of the best jobs in the entire world. Yes, the pay may not be ideal, and it takes a lot of effort, but the thought of being there for children who see you as their support and the person they could trust and rely on is priceless.

Quitting teaching is not easy, even when a better job comes along the way, like that of a First Lady.

Jill Biden, the wife of Joe Biden, who secured the presidency after getting sufficient electoral votes, considers not leaving teaching after becoming FLOTUS. In case that happens she would be the first First Lady in 231 years to have a normal job.

It looks like Jill Biden is a special person judging from the way she cares for the children she teaches. Well, she’s certainly very special to the next US president.

She was born Jill Tracy Jacobs in 1951 and her family moved from New Jersey to Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, where she grew up. Jill graduated from the University of Delaware and earned a bachelor’s and a doctoral degree. She also has two master degrees, from West Chester University and Villanova University.

In August of this year, she told reporters, “It’s important, and I want people to value teachers and know their contributions, and lift up the profession.” Currently, she’s teaching English at a community college in Northern Virginia.

When Jill and Joe met through his brother, who introduced them after Joe lost his wife and daughter in a car accident, she thought things between them won’t really work when he turned up in a sport coat and loafers on their first date, but she was so wrong. They’ve been together for years now and still going strong.

This teacher isn’t only dedicated to teaching children, but helps the community the best she can. In fact, Jill is the founder of two organizations whose aims are to help those who need it the most. Biden Breast Health Initiative provides early screenings for women and Book Buddies offers free books and learning materials to families of students who can’t afford them.

According to those who know her well, Jill is always fun to be around. One of her granddaughters said, “I would say she’s not your average grandmother. She’s the grandmother that wakes you up at, what was it, 5 a.m. on Christmas Eve to go SoulCycle-ing. She’s a prankster, she’s very mischievous. When she goes on a run, sometimes she’ll find, like, a dead snake and she’ll pick it up and put it in a bag, and she’ll use it to scare someone.”

Joe Biden had a hard time convincing Jill to marry him back in the day and had to pop the question five times before she finally said yes, but from what we know of her, she was definitely worth the waiting.

Veterans United Home Loans surprises 11 veterans by paying off their house loans

Showing gratitude and saying thank you is the least we can all do for the veterans who fought for our country. This November 11th, however, owing it to Veterans United Home Loans and their champagne ‘Make It Mean More’ our thank you meant a lot more than words, in fact each of the tweets which said, “thank you for your service” was worth $25.

The money raised were used to pay off the home loans of those who were willing to put their own lives on the line for the safety of ours.

Among the celebrities who supported this campaign were Gary Sinise, J.R. Martinez, and Joe Mantegna who are all known for their work towards welfare of veterans. They had the honor to tell some of the former military members of the gift they received.

Sinise called Bill Day, a single father of four, and the video call was truly emotional. “I get to be the messenger to tell you that you’re gonna get your entire mortgage and your loan paid off by Veterans United,” Sinise said, as quoted by People. “You’re not gonna have to worry about any of that.”

Needless to say, Day was touched to the core. He couldn’t find the right words to say how happy he was. “My son is… severely autistic and we’re having so many issues that this is gonna just help,” he said. “It’s gonna help a lot.”

Joe Mantegna told Ryan, and his wife, Stefani, the news that the home they live in is now theirs. Neither the veteran nor the actor could stop tears from rolling down their faces.

The number of tweets expressing gratitude for the veterans was 90,950, which equaled to $2,273,500. This covered the home loans of 11 veterans.

Little twins get excited over a bad full of marshmallows

They say it’s the small pleasures in life that comprise happiness and we definitely agree with that. If you don’t trust us, then you have to check out the cute twins from the video below.

Apparently, all they need in order for their day to get better is a bag full of sweet and mouth-watering marshmallows. Well, who doesn’t love them? They are the perfect treat at the campfire and we can never really have enough of these white and fluffy pleasures.

Once the twins reached the bag, they got excited. The grown up from the video put the marshmallows on a plate and let the siblings have all the fun. Looking at them enjoying their treat is both fun and heartwarming at the same time.

The video has been seen 13.9 million times, and it’s all for the right reason.

Lost and confused baby moose finds soldier in the forest and approaches trying to tell him something

Military exercises soldiers go through must be tiring. But for an Estonian soldier named Erich Hyri Prikko one such exercise turned into an experience he will never forget.

Prikko and the rest of the soldiers were located near Lake Võrtsjärv, in the southern part of the country, when Prikko felt the urge to “answer the call of nature” not having idea the nature will call him instead.

As he was walking in the woods, Prikko heard strange sounds that resembled cat’s meowing or baby cries, but as he knew neither was likely to be found in that remote place, he was aware it was another animal in question that was making that noise.

When the creature finally emerged from behind the trees, Prikko mistook it for a dog, but as he recalls, he pretty quickly realized it was a small baby moose trying to tell him something.

The baby moose was unsure whether it could trust Prikko, but soon decided to get closer to him as it was both hesitant and curious at the same time.

It was obvious the lovely creature was hungry and was trying to ask Prikko for some food. Sadly, he didn’t have any, but knew just what to do in order to help. Once he looked around and didn’t see the mother anywhere near, Prikko called a vet’s office. Hearing of the unusual encounter, they appeared at the scene carrying a big bottle of milk.

As the day went by, Prikko and the rest of the soldiers knew they had to leave the baby moose and head home. They were aware that the sweet animal’s mother was near by and was waiting for them to leave so that she could reunite with her baby. And they were right.

“We noticed very fresh big moose footprints that indicated that the small calf had been rescued by his mother,” Rikko said after they returned to the scene the following day.

It’s so great this baby put its fear behind and approached Prikko, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to witness one of the most incredible encounters between a human and a moose. Adorable indeed.

12-year-old boy surrenders puppy at shelter to save him from abusive father

A baby Pit Bull was surrendered at a shelter in Michoacan, Mexico, along with a note that broke the hearts of many.

According to what was written inside that piece of paper, the puppy was part of an abusive family and his human sibling named Andrés wanted to save him from being hurt. The boy wanted a better life for his furry pal Rene and hoped the shelter staff would keep him safe.

“My name is Andrés and I am 12 years old,” the note read according to CNN. “My mom and I decided to leave my dog in your hands, hiding it from my dad because he is thinking about selling him. But he mistreats and kicks him. One day he kicked him so hard that he hurt his tail. I hope you can help and take care of him.

“I left him a stuffed animal so he won’t forget me.”

Rene was now in the safe hands of the workers at Refugio Xollin who were more than happy to fulfill the little’s boy wish of finding his puppy a new forever home. As expected, the touching story of Rene was quickly shared all over the Internet and a huge number of potential adopters contacted the shelter asking to take the puppy home.

The interest Rene sparked gave the shelter an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of adopting dogs from shelters over buying them.

“If everyone opened their heart and their home like this little dog, they would have adopted all our dogs from the shelter,” adding there were more than 120 animals who were waiting for their future families to come across their path.

And as Rene is recovering from his physical injuries and the trauma he suffered, people grew concerns for Andrés and his mother’s safety knowing they were still living with the abusive father and husband. No child should ever experience pain or suffer from the hands of their parents. Unfortunately, for a girl named Fa, she fell victim of severe abuse by her stepfather when she was 10 years old.

When her mom discovered the horrific truth, she kicked her husband from her house, but that didn’t ease the pain and the fear Fa experienced.

The poor girl was left traumatized and the whole thing affected her mental state. Fa couldn’t eat properly and had hard time sleeping as she feared her stepfather would hurt her again. She refused to take her clothes off while showering and her mother felt helpless in helping her little girl.

Thankfully, when she needed it the most, someone special entered Fa’s life. The bikers from BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse), met Fa and offered to guard her house so that she could experience some safety and star living her life normally again. It was Tombstone, one of BACA’s members Fa grew fond of. He became her friend and now she knew she could rely on him whenever she felt helpless and scared.

This non-profit group whose main goal is to empower victimized children has helped many vulnerable kids over the years. These men resemble tough guys, but they are gentle giants who make a huge difference in the lives of many children.

World War II veteran celebrates 100th birthday with closest friends and family

Our hero of the day is mister LeRoy Marcus. This charming man is a World War II veteran who turned 100 years old.

His family has been planning on throwing a huge party for him for reaching the milestone, but the coronavirus pandemic interfered with their plan and they organized an intimate ceremony and invited only their closest family instead.

Mister LeRoy was thankful for the attention he received. He even wore a fancy cap reading, “100 Never Looked So Good!”

The name of Lindsey Lohan has become a synonym for scandals over the years. Today, however, it looks like the cute red-head is taking back the control over her life and we can’t wait to see what she has to offer next.

Lindsay has been under the spotlight from very early age. When she was just three, she was featured in a number of commercials and being in front of the camera felt natural to her. At the time Ford modeling agency signed her, many fell for her charm and distinctive looks, as most of the other girl models were blondes with blue or green eyes.

The actress’ troubled life could easily be associated with her troubled childhood. She is the oldest child of four and her parents separated when she was very young. They soon got back together, but divorced in 2007.

Speaking to Oprah Winfrey in 2013, Lindsay said, ”I grew up in a very chaotic home and there were moments of everything being just wonderful and perfect and then things being so uncontrollable and chaotic.”

Young Lindsay’s career in the film industry started with the movie The Parent Trap where she played a double role, that of twin sisters Hallie and Annie Parker. She is certain that if it wasn’t for this movie, she would have never become part of the Hollywood glam. She also believes that what was happening in her personal life helped her excel the dual role. Lindsay, in the role of the Parker twins, was doing all in her power to have her onscreen parents get back together, and at the same time, she was hoping her real-life parents would do the same.

By the time she turned 10, Lindsay’s face was all over the country. She was featured in prestigious magazines like Vogue and Elle and was offered roles in a number of movies.

After The Parent Trap, Lindsay starred in Freaky Friday, 2003, Herbie: Fully Loaded, 2005, and Mean Girls, 2007. After that, she turned to partying and became an addict. Lindsay was arrested on several occasions for assault and theft and spent 250 days in rehab between 2007 and 2012.

When she turned 30, the child actress moved to Dubai where she said she found her peace.

Later, she spent a large amount of time on the Greek island of Mykonos where she opened a beach bar. “There’s a business side to my life now, but I’m not in America, so no one knows about it, which is nice for me. Because I get to actually focus on the result of things,” she told the New York Times.

Today, Lindsay is trying to get her old life back.

She says she deserves that because she’s worked really hard. “I’m a normal, nice person. A good person. I don’t have any bad intentions. And my past has to stay in the past. People have to just let go of it and stop bringing it up because it’s not — it’s gone. It’s dead. And that’s the most important thing to me,” she says.

This year, she moved back to America and in March, her movie Among the Shadows was released. Recently, she posted on Instagram, writing, “The future is bright! let us all give love, light and peace ♥ ️?”

Getting a monkey as a pet might not be that usual, but people still opt to keep them in.

Zoey is a baby monkey who lives with a human family and loves them a lot, especially his grandma. Monkeys are able to show emotions similarly to humans. They laugh when they are happy and cry when they are sad. So the good thing is that we always know whether they are feeling fine or not.

In fact, when they get attached to someone, they miss that person whenever they are not around. When Zoey’s grandma left town for a week, he was waiting for her to get back because he apparently missed her very much. If you don’t trust us, then you have to see his reaction that brought a lot of smiles to many faces.

The moment he spots his favorite person, Zoey starts screaming in excitement and reaches his tiny hands towards her. Once in her arms, he can’t stop kissing her.

People say this is one of the most adorable videos there are, and I guess they are right.

Sir Sean Connery’s final wish was for his ashes to be scattered in his homeland Scotland

On October 31, the world lost a legend and everyone agrees there will never be another person as charming and as talented as Sir Sean Connery.

Throughout his career, he played many prominent roles in a number of iconic movies, but it’s safe to say that he will always be best remembered as the first ever agent 007, James Bond.

Although he was famous internationally and the world was his home, he was always very proud to be a Scotsman. In his home country, Connery is considered a national treasure and he never missed a chance to speak of his heritage.

After his death, Sir Connery’s wife, Micheline Roquebrune, told Scottish Mail on Sunday how her husband’s final wish was for his ashes to be scattered in Scotland and the Bahamas. “We are going to bring Sean back to Scotland – that was his final wish.”

The actor’s family is hoping to organize a memorial service for him in Scotland as soon as the situation with the pandemic calms down. They know just how much his country meant to him and they believe they owe that to him.

“Whenever it is possible and safe to travel again, then it is the family’s intention to return to Scotland with him. We would like to organize a memorial service for him in Scotland – that is our hope. But we cannot say when this will happen exactly.”

Roquebrune opened up about Sir Connery’s last months of his life and admitted he was suffering from dementia. He died at the age of 90, in his sleep, and his wife says it was exactly how he wished to leave this world.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Roquebrune, who was married to the actor for 45 years, said, “It was no life for him. He was not able to express himself latterly. At least he died in his sleep and it was just so peaceful. I was with him all the time and he just slipped away. It was what he wanted.”

“He was gorgeous and we had a wonderful life together,” she added. “He was a model of a man. It is going to be very hard without him, I know that. But it could not last forever and he went peacefully.”

Rest in peace Sir Connery, your career marked an era. You will never be forgotten!

Remember the sitcom Home Improvement? If you liked this show as mush as we did, then we have some awesome news for you. The lead actors, Tim Allen and Richard Karn, announced a similar show is back again and fans can’t wait to see it.

The new show is named Assembly Required and will be premiering on the History Channel.

What is very interesting about it is that it’s very popular even though no episode has aired yet. Well, knowing how great comedians these two actors are, people already know they will bring a lot of laughter.

The news about the show was first released by a TV magazine and knowing how these papers sometimes only post news they only assume to be true, not many believed there will really be a reunion of the Home Improvement cast. But then Tim Allen posted a photo of the magazine on his Instagram, writing, “This is happening,” and fans went crazy.

Maybe they believe they are cool and fancy, but honestly, looking at their sagging pants isn’t really the most appealing sight.

One cowboy comes across a group of men wearing such pants and he has a thing or to to say about their “strange” style. Honestly, his words are hysterical mainly because they are very true. He says the youngsters are wearing their pants on their knees and look as though they are trying to get the role of the penguin in the new Batman movie.

Little Yorkei “attacks” human sibling with licks and kisses

When I think of cuteness, the first two things that come to my mind are babies and puppies. Now imagine the two together; one of the sweetest thing on Earth, that’s for sure.

Little children growing up around dogs isn’t just adorable, but it teaches the little ones compassion, friendship, and responsibility. On top of that, you’ll know that your kid will have a best friend for life who will be there by their side to share their joys through happiness and provide comfort during sad times.

The video below shows a heartwarming interaction between a toddler and a tiny Yorkei. The excitement the puppy feels is bursting all around as the little guy just can’s stop jumping around his human sibling. The licks and kisses are there as well.

Mother kills twin daughters after court grants shared custody to her and her estranged husband

On October 24, the police at Whatcom County, Washington, got a call about three dead bodies found in the home of 55-year-old psychologist Michele Boudreau Deegan. It was the tenant who came across the shocking sight.

Michele killed her twin daughters before she killed herself. According to reports, she planned the murder for a couple of days and gave the girls sedatives before taking their lives.

Prior to the horrific incident, Michele was involved in a harsh custody battle with her estranged husband. The outcome was a shared custody, something Michele couldn’t possibly accept. She couldn’t imagine a day without her girls by her side and the thought of them spending time with their father was unbearable, according to her friends.

Whatcom County Sheriff Bill Elfo was reported saying, “Ms. Boudreau planned this event over the course of several days prior to the discovery of the bodies. She clearly stated her suicidal ideations and that she would never leave her daughters alone without her,” according to the Daily Mail.

People close to her, who knew her very well, spoke of Michele as a gentle soul who dedicated her life to her children and to helping others. She was a psychologist who ran a private practice and helped change the life of many for the better.

The news of her murdering her two princesses came as a shock to her family and friends.

“Michelle was a wonderful woman….she HAD TO HAVE BEEN trying (in an absolutely sick, unimaginably twisted way, obviously) to ‘protect’ the girls from a life with their dad without her,” a friend of Michele named Jen Mindlin posted on Facebook. “She was a kind and warm friend, bright and empathetic, a psychologist with a local practice that helped so many people, including me, and my daughter.”

The friend continued the post by writing that Michele was in a “horrific custody battle, with a man she had a domestic violence protection order against.”

“Every time she believed her divorce was almost final, she would be dragged into a new frivolous and expensive renegotiation. She had been bankrupted by litigation, right or wrong, she worried for her girls with their dad…..(the sad irony is not lost on me)……this was a mental health tragedy, not a terrible person.”

Many of Michele’s neighbors also describe her as a devoted mother who was obviously “sick and scared.”

We are very sorry for the lives lost. These two beautiful girls had their future ahead of them and it was all taken away from them by their own mother. Rest in peace little angels.

When Brittanee Drexel was reported missing back in 2009, her case caught the attention of the whole country. The teen who was seventeen at the time of her disappearance went on vacation without her mom approving of it.

Now, years after she was last seen, authorities share devastating information of her tragic fate.

Brittanee’s headlines-grabbing case has come under the spotlight again after it was finally discovered what had really happened to her.

Weeks before she went missing, Brittanee was convincing her mother to let her spend the spring break with friends at Myrtle Beach, to which her mom said no. But Brittanee was determined to find a way to put her plan into action and told her mom she was going to stay at a friend’s house near their Rochester home, New York. Once she got approval, she headed to Myrtle Beach instead without her family knowing.

The last time she was seen, Brittanee left her friend’s hotel room and was on her way to her own.

Her case seemed to be fading away as authorities didn’t have enough information to solve it. But then out of the blue and years after it happened, a prisoner named Taquan Brown who is serving 25-year sentence for manslaughter in unrelated case came forward with information and told FBI the truth about Brittanee.

Brown confessed he had seen Brittanee at a ‘stash house’ a couple of days after she disappeared. He said she had been sexually abused before she was murdered.

The night she vanished, Brittanee was picked up by 16-year-old Da’Shaun Taylor of McClellanville. He and his friends gang raped the teen and then killed her. After they realized her case caught the attention of the whole nation and was all over the media they threw her body in a swamp teeming with alligators.

Brittanee suffered a horrible death and our thought and prayers are with her family.
