Adult-star Bonnie Blue may face up to ’15 years in jail’

British adult content creator Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, is facing up to 15 years in jail under Indonesia’s strict anti-pornography laws after being arrested in Bali. The 26-year-old was detained on December 5 alongside a group of Australian and British men accused of participating in the production of X-rated content, which is illegal in the country.

Authorities seized cameras, contraception, erectile medication, and the untaxed “Bonnie Blue BangBus” vehicle allegedly linked to the stunt that triggered the arrests. If convicted, Blue could face a fine of up to 6 billion rupiah (roughly $360,000).

Legal experts, however, say she is more likely to be deported and permanently banned from Indonesia rather than serve a full prison sentence, though she could remain in detention for months.

Immigration lawyer Philo Dellano said the high-profile nature of the case may delay her release, as authorities weigh prosecution against deportation under Indonesia’s morality laws.

“She is being detained by the police, which means they can proceed to prosecute her,” Dellano shared in a statement to News.com.au. “But in my opinion, if there is an ‘invisible hand’ that requests that she be deported, she can be transferred to the nearest immigration office, from where she will be deported from Indonesia.”

Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara made a statement after they received reports about a member of the public “suspected pornography or the creation of indecent video material.”

While Bonnie Blue remains detained, the alleged participants, including 14 Australians, were released the following morning after being interviewed as witnesses, according to reports.

“They (the 14 Australians) will be allowed to go back to their country after we finish the examination,” an immigration officer from Ngurah Rai, according to The Daily Mail. “We will be deepening the investigation to check her activity during her time in Bali and work jointly with police.”

As for the remaining three men who were arrested, authorities said it was unclear whether they would face any charges. “If they did not make commercial content, maybe that’s not a problem. If they make commercial content, we could charge them.

“We could also check whether it has created unrest in the community or not.”

Bonnie Blue rose to fame when she attempted a stunt where she slept with over 1,000 men in 12 hours.
