First time mom gives birth to daughter after 40 hours struggle

Nicole and Matthew Seismer couldn’t wait for their bundle of joy to be born. They prepared everything for the big arrival, but what happened on the delivery day left everyone stunned.

The couple prayed and hoped for their baby to be born healthy, and that is exactly what happened. When baby girl Blakely was welcomed into the world, the new mom and dad were overjoyed. However, Nicole knew something was wrong as she kept experiencing contractions and felt like she was still in labor. Doctors told her it was sort of normal to feel that way, but soon, they realized there was more to the pain she was feeling.

As they were getting ready to take out the placenta, the doctors decided to do an ultrasound and that’s when they were all left in a complete shock. There was another baby getting ready to be born.

Nicole visited the doctor only once during her pregnancy and was hoping to give birth at home, but as her water broke at 36 weeks, she was forced to go to the hospital after spending 40 hours at home without painkillers. During that single ultrasound she had while pregnant, doctors saw one baby only. The other one, Cade, who was born 59 minutes after his sister, was probably “hiding,” so Nicole had no idea she was carrying twins.

“We thought the biggest surprise would be the sex of the baby, but we were wrong. It was terrible when they said there was something else in me.

“When [the doctor] said we were having another baby, I literally asked him if he was lying,” the mom said. “I couldn’t digest it all because I was in a lot of pain.”

Cade had trouble breathing when he was born so he needed to spend some time at NICU. Luckily, a few days later, he was allowed to be taken home to his family and twin sister.

“It was funny,” the 31-year-old mom said. “We were happy, but it was really shocking. But now I can’t imagine having an only child. It seems they are destined to be together.”

The happy parents now needed to get another pair of everything they had already bought for the single child they expected.

Kim McGuire: The true story of the actress who played Mona “Hatchet-Face” Malnorowski

The life story of lawyer and actress Kim McGuire, best known for her iconic role of Mona “Hatchet-Face” Malnorowski from the musical Cry-Baby, is touching, to say the least.

Born on December 1, 1955, in New Orleans, to a father who was a successful lawyer, Kim showed interested in law as a teenager. She also loved dancing and acting, so she chose to pursue two different careers. She earned a master’s degree in theater and dance from the University of New Orleans, and later, she graduated from Loyola Law School and became a lawyer.

Kim came to prominence with the role of Mona “Hatchet-Face” Malnorowski, a member of the grotesque teenage gang led by Wade “Cry-Baby” Walker portrayed by Johnny Depp.

When casting for the movie, John Walters had a clear image of what he was looking for from the actress that was supposed to portray Mona “Hatchet-Face” Malnorowski because he had wrote a script for a movie titled Hatchet-Face some years before, but the movie was never released. “Hatchet-Face” would have ”the body of Jayne Mansfield and the face of Margaret Hamilton … [and] nobody, but nobody, gives her grief,” according to Walters.

“Wanted: Girl with a good body and an alarming face who is proud of it,” the ad for the role said.

“I had just randomly sent my picture to six casting directors that week. I sent it to [casting director] Paula Herold, who was casting for a film called Reversal of Fortune, which I had no idea what it was about. And I guess I had a reversal of fortune, because they called me in for Cry-Baby,” Kim said in It Came From Baltimore, a special feature on the director’s cut DVD of Cry Baby.

For the movie, Kim’s already distinguished facial features were overly exaggerated and she didn’t resemble herself. “That face that she wears in the movie is certainly make-up; Kim has a very blank face in real life,” Walters later said.

“When people see me after seeing that, they think I look really good,” Kim told The Atlanta Journal in 1991.

Cry Baby became a Hollywood classic. It was so well-accepted that it was turned into a Broadway musical which opened at the Marquis Theater in New York City in 2008. It ran for 68 performances and was nominated at the Tony Awards for the Best Musical, Book, and Score.

After the movie, Kim appeared in other projects, including Acting on Impulse, Serial Mom, and an episode of New York Undercover, which was her last TV appearance.

In 1994, Kim married Gene Piotrowsky. They moved to New York but ended up unemployed after 9/11 so they decided to move to Biloxi, a Mississippi city on the Gulf of Mexico, where they both started working for the Mississippi Repertory Theater Company.

Unfortunately, in 2005, their home and all of their belongings were completely destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. They barely made it alive as Gene was forced to carry her on his back to a safer place where they faced the hurricane for eight hours before help arrived and evacuated them.

The couple was forced into homelessness. They lived in shelters before they moved to New Orleans in November 2005.

“We wound up having to go into Section 8 housing. A real change. In L.A., both of us were pretty high economically. I was wearing $ 1,200 dresses. From that, to nothing. Living in Beverly Hills, to nothing. It was just a big change of lifestyle. It’s not just material things. It’s losing roots. I have not seen my parents in three years, which is just horrible,” Kim said in 2015.

Over the course of 10 years, they moved places five times but had a hard time overcoming the trauma the hurricane left in their lives.

“Though they plan and equip themselves for something like this, it’s never enough. We ought to know: We lived in LA during the 1994 earthquake, we were visiting New York on 9/11, and now we lived through this. I told a friend about all of that and he said, ‘Do me a favor and tell me where you’re moving to next…,'” Gene told the San Diego Union Tribune after the disaster.

Finally, after ten long years, Kim and Gene seemed to settle in Florida where she continued helping vulnerable women and victims of the hurricane. Sadly, in 2016, Kim experienced severe pneumonia and was admitted to the ICU at Physicians Regional Hospital in Naples, Florida. Unfortunately, she didn’t respond to the treatments and died of cardiac arrest. She was 60 years old at the time of her passing.

“The outpouring of love and prayers for Kim from her family, friends and fans has been overwhelming and most comforting. Kim’s parents and sister thank you very much. Kim was a dancer, choreographer, actor, attorney and author and credited her dear father for instilling in her a love of learning,” Kim’s obituary said.

We are so sorry Kim was forced to go through so much during her life. Her incredible acting in Cry Baby left a mark we will never forget.

Child star Shaun Weiss’s remarkable before-and-after photos

Becoming popular at very young age can be either a curse or a blessing. Many child stars miss on their childhood and are unable to cope with their fame, so a lot of them turn to drugs and alcohol and ruin their lives.

Unfortunately, one of those child celebrities who couldn’t find their place under the Hollywood sky and felt defeated and disappointed by the way their career unfolded is Shaun Weiss, the chubby goalie from The Mighty Ducks.

Landing the role of Greg Goldberg seemed like the perfect start to a successful career in the film industry, but things went south for Weiss when he started having problems with law enforcement.

Shaun Weiss was born in 1978 in Detroit. He was part of a number of commercials from early age and landed a role in Pee-wee’s Playhouse. However, he had his big breakthrough with the legendary film The Mighty Ducks. He was also part of Heavyweights in which he played the role of Josh Birnbaum, one of the kids who ended up in a fat camp. Other films and project Weiss was part of, among the rest, was the NBC drama Freaks and Geek.

Unfortunately, Weiss started getting in trouble after he was arrested in 2017 and was sentenced to 150 days in the Los Angeles County Jail. However, he only spent 12 days there before he was released due to overcrowding. Shortly after this incident, Weiss was arrested once again for possession of illegal substances. It was very much obvious that the child star lost control of his life.

The good thing was that he was aware he needed professional help in order to get on track. In a Facebook post, Weiss wrote how he “surrendered to the reality that without immediate treatment my life is in eminant (sic) danger.”

The wide public became aware of the severity of Weiss’ condition after the police released a mugshot of him in 2020 in which he was completely unrecognizable.

He was reported for shattering a car’s window and sitting inside the vehicle.

Many of Weiss’ friends were desperate to help him get a new lease on life and even started a fundraiser in order for him to be able to receive professional help and go to rehab. Luckily, that turned out to be just what Weiss needed so badly.

“Shaun demonstrated perseverance during his recovery complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic. He had to move treatment and transitional programs on several occasions. He underwent dental reconstructive surgery, and had a close family member suffer a serious accident during his treatment,” the Yuba County District Attorney Office said, according to The Sacramento Bee. “Shaun regained employment and has been traveling across the country making guest appearances and signing autographs,” they added.

Recently, Weiss shared before-and-after photos of him which show the progress he made during a year of sobriety. It looks like they show two completely different people.

”A journey of a thousand miles begins with 12 amazing steps,” he wrote and thanked everyone for their support.

”Moving to sober living was nerve-racking as there are a lot of roommates constantly on top of each other. But he’s thriving in his growth and making the best of it,” his friend and advocate, Drew Gallagher, told People in 2020.

His former co-workers, among which Emilio Estevez who played the coach in The Mighty Ducks, say they are proud of Weiss who managed to regain control on his life again. Estevez, who is now part of the series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, said he and the team behind the project would be happy if anyone from the former cast join them.

We are very happy and proud of Shaun Weiss. We hope he gets back to filming again.

Third grader appreciates his teacher so much he gives her his birthday money as a pay rise

Teaching your child to be considerate is one of the most humble things you can do for them, because at the end of the day, taking care of one another is what makes this world a better place.

Parker Williams loves school so very much. What he loves most about it, is his teacher, Mrs. Chambers. “I think she’s a really kind teacher, and she has her own way of teaching, and she spends time on everybody,” this boy says of her.

As he is well aware that Mrs. Chambers always go the extra mile for her students, Parker felt devastated when he heard on the news that teachers in America are practically underpaid. His little heart was broken, because he knew Mrs. Chambers deserved a lot more.

In order to fix things, Parker did the most amazing thing ever and stole the hearts of thousands of people who learned of his kind deed. Namely, he celebrated his 9th birthday and received a bunch of presents, among which some money. When his parents asked him what he was planning to do with his $15, he didn’t tell them, but he had a plan on how to spend it.

Parker put the money in a tiny bag which he then placed on a handwritten note that said:  “Dear Mrs. Chambers, I don’t think that teachers get paid enough for what they do. So will you accept this gift.”

Needless to say, Mrs. Chambers was deeply touched by this gesture. Of course, she couldn’t possibly accept the money, but she appreciated the deed very much. Instead, she gave Parker his money back along with a note. “Teachers put their all in all the time. We often take work home. Our day doesn’t end when the bell rings. It’s so great that Parker realized that we do a lot extra,” she later said.

When Parker’s parents saw Mrs. Chamber’s note, they couldn’t help by share it online. They said they were very proud of their son for being considerate.

Parker’s mom explained that they always teach him to help others as much as he can and added that whenever he gets money for his birthday or for Christmas, he always gives 10% to charity. How adorable is that?

Vanna White, the host of Wheel of Fortune, announces death of her father in emotional tribute

Vanna White, the long-time host of “Wheel of Fortune,” shared some heartbreaking news with her fans a few days ago. Her father, Herbert White Jr., passed away at the age of 96.

Vanna’s parents got divorced when she was still an infant and she was raised by her mother and her stepfather, Herbert, whom she considered a real father.

The host and model never missed a chance to remind this man how much he meant to her. During an episode of the game show which she’s been hosting since 1982, Pat Sajak mentioned Vanna’s father and asked her how he was doing, to which she replied: “He’s great… I call him every morning to say ‘good morning’ and that I love him,” adding that “He’s special.”

On the day she lost her biggest support in life and her father figure, Vanna wrote:

“It is with great sadness that I tell you my 96-year-old dad passed away peacefully this morning. He lived a full and happy life and will be remembered as one of the kindest and most wonderful human beings of North Myrtle Beach.”

She concludes her post writing, “I love you so much dad. RIP.”

Many fans took their time to share their condolences.  “So sorry, Vanna. I’m sure you will miss him but God has a new angel and I’m sure he will watch guard over you,” one person wrote. “Sending my deepest condolences and prayers for you and your family. May your memories keep him close in your hearts,” another added.

Among those who sent their prayers was Sajak’s daughter who commented: “I am so very sorry for your loss. My whole family is thinking of you.”

On last year’s Father’s Day, Vanna shared a message of her kissing her dad and reminding him once again how much she loved him.

The Difference Between Men And Women. Do you agree?

This one is old, but gold, and probably the best story out there that tells the difference between men and women in a hilarious way. We simply love it!

Let’s say a guy named Fred is attracted to a woman named Martha. He asks her out to a movie; she accepts; they have a pretty good time. A few nights later he asks her out to dinner, and again they enjoy themselves. They continue to see each other regularly, and after a while neither one of them is seeing anybody else.

And then, one evening when they’re driving home, a thought occurs to Martha, and, without really thinking, she says it aloud: “Do you realize that, as of tonight, we’ve been seeing each other for exactly six months?”

And then, there is silence in the car.

To Martha, it seems like a very loud silence. She thinks to herself: I wonder if it bothers him that I said that. Maybe he’s been feeling confined by our relationship; maybe he thinks I’m trying to push him into some kind of obligation that he doesn’t want, or isn’t sure of.

And Fred is thinking: Gosh. Six months.

And Martha is thinking: But, hey, I’m not so sure I want this kind of relationship either. Sometimes I wish I had a little more space, so I’d have time to think about whether I really want us to keep going the way we are, moving steadily towards, I mean, where are we going? Are we just going to keep seeing each other at this level of intimacy? Are we heading toward marriage? Toward children? Toward a lifetime together? Am I ready for that level of commitment? Do I really even know this person?

And Fred is thinking: …so that means it was…let’s see…February when we started going out, which was right after I had the car at the dealer’s, which means…lemme check the odometer…Whoa! I am way overdue for an oil change here.

And Martha is thinking: He’s upset. I can see it on his face. Maybe I’m reading this completely wrong. Maybe he wants more from our relationship, more intimacy, more commitment; maybe he has sensed – even before I sensed it – that I was feeling some reservations. Yes, I bet that’s it. That’s why he’s so reluctant to say anything about his own feelings. He’s afraid of being rejected.

And Fred is thinking: And I’m gonna have them look at the transmission again. I don’t care what those morons say, it’s still not shifting right. And they better not try to blame it on the cold weather this time. What cold weather? It’s 87 degrees out, and this thing is shifting like a garbage truck, and I paid those incompetent thieves $600.

And Martha is thinking: He’s angry. And I don’t blame him. I’d be angry, too. I feel so guilty, putting him through this, but I can’t help the way I feel. I’m just not sure.

And Fred is thinking: They’ll probably say it’s only a 90-day warranty…scumballs.

And Martha is thinking: Maybe I’m just too idealistic, waiting for a knight to come riding up on his white horse, when I’m sitting right next to a perfectly good person, a person I enjoy being with, a person I truly do care about, a person who seems to truly care about me. A person who is in pain because of my self-centered, schoolgirl romantic fantasy.

And Fred is thinking: Warranty? They want a warranty? I’ll give them a warranty. I’ll take their warranty and stick it right up their…

“Fred,” Martha says aloud.

“What?” says Fred, startled.

“Please don’t torture yourself like this,” she says, her eyes beginning to brim with tears. “Maybe I should never have…oh dear, I feel so…”(She breaks down, sobbing.)

“What?” says Fred.

“I’m such a fool,” Martha sobs. “I mean, I know there’s no knight. I really know that. It’s silly. There’s no knight, and there’s no horse.”

“There’s no horse?” says Fred.

“You think I’m a fool, don’t you?” Martha says.

“No!” says Fred, glad to finally know the correct answer.

“It’s just that…it’s that I…I need some time,” Martha says.

(There is a 15-second pause while Fred, thinking as fast as he can, tries to come up with a safe response. Finally he comes up with one that he thinks might work.)

“Yes,” he says. (Martha, deeply moved, touches his hand.)

“Oh, Fred, do you really feel that way?” she says.

“What way?” says Fred.

“That way about time,” says Martha.

“Oh,” says Fred. “Yes.” (Martha turns to face him and gazes deeply into his eyes, causing him to become very nervous about what she might say next, especially if it involves a horse. At last she speaks.)

“Thank you, Fred,” she says.

“Thank you,” says Fred.

Then he takes her home, and she lies on her bed, a conflicted, tortured soul, and weeps until dawn, whereas when Fred gets back to his place, he opens a bag of Doritos, turns on the TV, and immediately becomes deeply involved in a rerun of a college basketball game between two South Dakota junior colleges that he has never heard of. A tiny voice in the far recesses of his mind tells him that something major was going on back there in the car, but he is pretty sure there is no way he would ever understand what, and so he figures it’s better if he doesn’t think about it.

The next day Martha will call her closest friend, or perhaps two of them, and they will talk about this situation for six straight hours. In painstaking detail, they will analyze everything she said and everything he said, going over it time and time again, exploring every word, expression, and gesture for nuances of meaning, considering every possible ramification.

They will continue to discuss this subject, off and on, for weeks, maybe months, never reaching any definite conclusions, but never getting bored with it either.

Meanwhile, Fred, while playing racquetball one day with a mutual friend of his and Martha’s, will pause just before serving, frown, and say: “Norm, did Martha ever own a horse?”

And that’s the difference between men and women.

Sara Gilbert discovered she was attracted to the same sex while dating Johnny Galecki – he kept it a secret for years

Roseanne was a huge hit back in the day. For many of the actors, the roles they played on the show represented their big breakthrough.

Sara Gilbert, who is a well known actress, director, and producer, and one of the creators and former co-hosts of The Talk, landed a role in Roseanne when she was just 13. The role of Darlene Conner, the sarcastic middle child, brought her enormous popularity and a number of awards, including two Prime time Emmy Award nominations.

Gilbert’s on-screen partner in Roseanne was actor Johnny Galecki. However, what not many people know is that the two dated in real life, even though that relationship was a brief one.

During an episode of The Talk, Gilbert opened up about her love life and revealed how much Galecki supported her when she was struggling to come to terms with her sexuality.

“I thought he was super cute and had a total crush on him,” she said of Galecki, “and we started dating and he would come over and we would make out and then I would start to get depressed.”

He thought her reaction had something to do with him, but then Gilbert decided to share with him her internal struggles. “I eventually told him I thought it was about my sexuality, and he was super sweet about it,” she added.

Realizing she was sexually attracted to the same sex made Gilbert fearful of her career in Hollywood.

“It was something people could have found out about and Johnny, like, no one knew at the show, for years, and Johnny held the secret the whole time,” she said. “And I just felt so scared if it came out, what could happen. Could I lose my career? Would I ever be able to play a straight role again?”

Her worries slowly faded away because she knew Galecki was there to support her. He always had her back, and that never changed.

When she exposed her relationship with him, he told her: “Of course. I love you, and I think it’s really important and I’m so proud of you. If you want, I will be there, and I will hold your hand.”

Years went by and both Gilbert’s and Galecki’s lives changed a great deal since the time they starred alongside each other in Roseanne. One thing that never changed, however, is their friendship.

Man loses almost 200 pounds so that he can become a police officer, wows everyone with his journey

Self-determination has to be one of the greatest virtues one can possess. Many times, sticking to a plan is way harder than it seems, especially when it comes to managing self-control with food.

However, when we have a clear goal in mind, only sky is the limit. Take Romar Lyle for example. This young man’s story is profoundly inspiring, to say the least.

Ever since he was a young boy, Lyle dreamed of becoming a cop one day. When he shared this dream of his with his family and friends, they weren’t thrilled, not because they didn’t trust in his abilities, but because they though that someone as big as him didn’t fit that job. They didn’t say anything, but it was very obvious what they were thinking.

Lyle, who weighted 400 pounds, decide to study investigative forensics. He was an excellent student, but he knew his weight stood on his way of achieving his goal of becoming part of the law enforcement. He convinced himself that he would lose weight while at college, but the stress of studying only made things worse and he gained more weight instead.

Lyle graduated with strong qualifications for becoming a cop, but because of his weight, no police force would take him on.

It was at this point that he decided enough is enough. Although it wasn’t easy at first, this determined young man turned to a healthier lifestyle and hit the gym under a local CrossFit program.

Months passed by and Lyle was getting closer and closer to the body he wanted. In a year, he lost staggering 130 pounds. His appearance changed drastically and some of his family and friends who hadn’t seen him in a while couldn’t even recognize him.

Over time, Lyle’s weight shrank to the point where he could start his training to become a police officer at the Richmond Police Department.

Overall, he lost 176 pounds, and he was aware that if he could lose that much weight, he could do anything he put his mind to.

Finally, in 2017, Lyle landed his dream job. He put on the uniform and everything felt right. “It was one of the most challenging things I have ever had to do. But it has taught me so many life skills and valuable lessons that I will carry for the rest of my life,” he told CNN.

Dog found alone at airport with a heartbreaking note from his owner

A 3-month-old Chihuahua was spotted lying at a Las Vegas airport washroom. Many people saw it, but one particular man decided to get closer and see why the little one was all by itself. To his surprise, he noticed a handwritten note next it. It was a heartbreaking one.

As it turned out, the owner fled from an abusive relationship but was unable to take the dog with her. She couldn’t leave it with her ex either because he treated the dog with the same disrespect he treated her. One time, he kicked the dog so hard, that it was still suffering and was in need of medical help.

The note read: “Hi! I’m Chewy. My owner was in an unhealthy relationship and couldn’t afford to pay for my plane ticket. She didn’t want to leave me with her whole heart, but she didn’t have a choice. When we were arguing, my ex-boyfriend kicked my dog, and he now has a large knot on his head. He’ll most likely require the services of a veterinarian. I adore Chewy, and I beg you to cherish and care for him.”

Luckily, the man who took the time to check on Chewy wouldn’t let him there. He called Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue and explained the situation. Luckily, they were more than wiling to take Chewy in and provide him with the much-needed help.

President and founder of the rescue organization, Linda Gilliam, was deeply touched by Chewy’s life story. “My heart plummeted to my knees. I accepted him without hesitation and told my foster to bring him to an ER right away,” she told The Dodo.

Chewy is now doing much better and is on his way to complete recovery. Yet, him being separated from the owner who loved him dearly is a very sad thing. Gilliam says owners who are in an abusive relationship and can’t take care of their pets can always leave them at rescue centers where the staff would do all in their power to keep the pets and the owners together when things get better.

“As a whole, this is a tremendously underappreciated issue,” Gilliam added. “We also wanted to convey to Chewy’s mother that she did a heroic thing by rescuing him, and that he is safe and will have a wonderful life.”

Hero loses life while saving a man who was attacked and thrown onto subway tracks

On New Year’s Eve of this year, a precious life was lost. What was supposed to be a time of celebration and new beginnings, turned into a tragedy for a 36-year-old man named Roland Hueston.

Hueston witnessed an attack of another man who was assaulted with a knife by a group of people at the Fordham Road Subway station in Bronx, New York. As the man waited at the platform, the group approached him and started a fight, after which the man was violently thrown onto the tracks, as reported by CNN.

As Hueston rushed to the man’s rescue, he lost his own life. According to the police report, the heroic man was “subsequently struck by the oncoming train, causing his death.”

The entire incident was caught on security cameras which show Hueston’s selfless act that brought him to death.

The victim of the attack was rushed to the hospital and released shortly after. His mother, Basilia Paulino, spoke of the incident in which her son was attacked and how Hueston saved him.

“He told me they attacked him,” Paulino told the New York Post. “It was a gang, and they started hitting him, and they threw him onto the tracks.

“He could hardly speak because he’s in a lot of pain,” she continued.

She was also extremely grateful to late Hueston for saving her son, but at the same time, she was heartbroken for his loss. “I’m crying for that man,” Paulino said. “I don’t know what to say. He went to help my son and look what happened. He should be in God’s glory, that man.”

In an attempt to track the attackers down, NYPD Crimestoppers shared images of them and asked from the public to come forward with information.

Later in January, three men were arrested and charged with murder, robbery, gang assault and assault. One of them was 16, and the rest were 17 years old.

A few days ago, 19-year-old Noel Rosado was arrested on recommended charges of murder, manslaughter, robbery, gang assault and assault, according to police documentation obtained by CNN.

We hope they will get what they deserve for their crime which led to a young man losing his life.

The show I Love Lucy, which attracted millions of viewers back in the day and is still very popular today, helped pave the way to modern-day sitcom. It was the first show of that kind and everyone found it extremely engaging. Besides the new format, it was the actors who played the main roles that helped tun it into a huge hit which earned numerous Emmy Awards and other honors. Being the first scripted television program to be shot on 35 mm film in front of a studio audience which featured an ensemble cast, the show is regarded one of the greatest and most influential sitcoms in history. In 2012, over five decades after it ended, I Love Lucy was voted the ‘Best TV Show of All Time’ in a survey conducted by ABC News and People magazine.

I Love Lucy followed the lives of a New York couple, Lucy Ricardo and Ricky Ricardo, played by iconic Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz who were married in real-life.

Desi Arnaz was considered a man of many talents. Besides being a celebrated actor, Arnaz was a musician, executive, and producer. He has been credited with the development of the three-camera setup and syndication, as well as the first person who presented the value of reruns.

At the time he first met Ball back in 1940, both he and her were involved with other people, but it only took a couple of days for them to start seeing each other. Shortly after, they tied the knot.

However, as millions looked up to their picture-perfect on-screen relationship, their private life was quite a different story.

Arnaz was a heavy drinker and a womanizer. He was said to be having affairs with different women during the 20 years he was married to Ball. What’s most, she was very well aware of it, and even caught him in the act once.

Things turned even more bitter when the most popular gossip magazine of that time, The Confidential, wrote of Arnaz’s extramarital affairs. On its January cover, 1955, the magazine had a picture of Ball hugging Arnaz with the headline: “Does Desi Really Love Lucy?”

When she demanded a copy of it and read the article, her reaction was: “Oh, hell, I could tell them worse than that.”

Scotty Bower, a famous Hollywood pimp, wrote in his book Full Service: My Adventures in Hollywood and the Secret Sex Lives of the Stars that Arnaz was ”a sweetheart of a guy, with a healthy heterosexual appetite. He often called me up for girls, tipping them more generously than anyone else I know.”

Ball once filed for a divorce four years into their marriage, but reports are that she spent the night with her husband and the following day, she got out of the courtroom into his arms.

The couple eventually divorced in 1960 and they both moved on with their lives and married other people.

Arnaz stayed by his second wife’s side until her passing. He, however, never stopped battling his demons when it came to drinking. It was after his wife died that he finally got into an AA program with the help of his son. “It was a big hurdle for him to do that, and I was very proud of him. That takes incredible amount of courage,” Desi Arnaz Jr.said of his father.

Sadly, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. Great Desi Arnaz left this world on December 2, 1986.

Despite experiencing issues, Arnaz and Ball remained good friends after their divorce. She was said to the the last person he talked to before passing away.

Desi Arnaz truly was a versatile man of talent and class. He was a pioneer of modern television.

Family says woman mauled by dogs is clinging to life and that she’s been told about her amputated arms

Kyleen Waltman, a 38-year-old mother of three from Honea Path, South Carolina, is fighting for her life after she was mauled by three vicious dogs near her home. The harrowing incident took place on March 21, and ever since, Kyleen is at the hospital, struggling to stay alive.

She could die at the scene had it not been for a farmer who noticed the dogs biting her. Luckily, he rushed towards Kyleen and fired his gun into the air to get them to disperse. Kyleen was then airlifted to the hospital where she has been treated for her severe injuries. Unfortunately, both her arms were amputated and her colon was removed, and now, her esophagus may have to be removed.

“She didn’t deserve it,” her sister Shenna said. “She was a good person. She helped everybody.”

Kyleen’s other sister, Amy Wynne, took to social media to post an update of Kyleen’s current condition and explain how the family is in need of finances to cover the huge medical bills, as well as of prayers. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family.

On April 4, Amy wrote:

“I’m sorry this is kind of late but it’s been hectic here lately.. Kyleen has been fully woken up and the doctors told her about her arms but, it caused her a great deal of a anxiety, so they sedated her. Her blood pressure is still very and she is running a fever of 102+ her oxygen levels keep falling so she’s back on the ventilator. Mama says it’s like she’s giving up. Before ya’ll go assuming we as her family are not giving up. The lord has brought her this far for a reason. Her story is not done. Now they have took off everything on the arms that now she can not have regular prosthetics. So here we are trying to figure out how to keep her from thinking negative thoughts about her life. I understand that for 38 years she’s had arms and now she doesn’t, how she’s thinking. She’s still fighting. Prayers are working and slowly she healing. We just have to wait and allow God and time to do their there. I appreciate all the comments and prayers. Please just keep her and us in your prayers. I will update again when I have more information.”

Following the attack, the dogs, two Pit Bulls and one mixed breed, got seized by the Abbeville County Animаl Control, and their owner, Justin L. Minor, was arrested and charged. He has since been released on a $15,000 bond.

We pray for Kayleen and hope she would find the strength to survive.

Princesses surprise 5-year-old girl in court to make her adoption magical

Getting adopted and finding a forever family is a magical moment all by itself, but when there are Disney princesses to sprinkle some extra pixie dust, the milestone gets even better.

Everyone at the Grand Rapids, Michigan, courtroom was stunned when they saw seven princesses and Prince Charming entering the place last week to support five-year-old princess-loving girl, Danielle, as her adoption by Jim and Sarah Koning became final.

The hearing was definitely fit for a princess, as caseworkers became fairy godmothers with wands and tiaras. Even the judge played along, donning a princess-themed outfit under her robe to mark the occasion.

The family was happy to reach the end of the “long road” to adoption, mom Sarah Koning said, and the princess surprise for Danielle made the day even more special.

“It was something we had been waiting for a long time, so it was just an awesome day to begin with, but it made it extra special,” Koning told TODAY. “Having the princesses there made it even more memorable for her and something she can hold with her for the rest of her life, and know that we love her and she’s in the right place.”

During the hearing, the princesses wished Danielle well in her new forever family and celebrated the adoption.

“It was a long road because of the contested adoption,” she said.

But the Konings’ day finally arrived, and the idea for the princess theme originated with Kristina Grey, a foster care case manager at the Samaritas organization, who worked with Danielle.

Grey said she knew Danielle was nervous about her future. “She had been anxious about permanence,” she said. “She wanted to know where she belonged.”

“I knew right then and there I had to make her adoption day memorable for her,” Grey added.

“I was just blown away,” she said. “It was amazing to see it happen and just how memorable it will be for Danielle.”

Freddie Figgers is a young man whose life story has inspired many. Seeing him today and realizing how successful he is, one wouldn’t believe he was dumped in a dumpster when he was just a baby by his biological parents.

Going from rugs to riches, Freddie is a reminder that no matter how people treat you, no one can ever steal your talent and what God has prepared for you. 

Thankfully, he was adopted by a family who only showed him love from the moment he became their legal son. In fact, it was his adoptive dad who motivated Freddie to be better and better with each passing day.

Realizing he was truly special, Freddie’s new mom and dad knew he would go far in life. So when he was just nine years old, they bought him his first ever computer. But the product didn’t work, and instead of asking from his parents to take it back to the manufacturer, Freddie said he could work out what the problem was himself. His curiosity was both natural and intense, and it led him to great things in life.

After taking the computer apart and building it again, Freddie made it running. In fact, he still owns that piece of technology that reminds him how his love for computers and technologies started in the first place. 

Believe it or not, Freddie was a real computer prodigy, and the fact that he got a job as a computer technician at the age of just 12 speaks best of that fact.

Three years later, Freddie felt like he could start his own business, so when he was 15 years old he launched a cloud computer company. Many small business used his services, and that was the start of his journey towards becoming one of the youngest millionaires. 

But this young man has a lot more to be proud of under his belt. He later used his talent and knowledge to help people who shared his father’s health condition, dementia.

Freddie attended college, but soon realized that the time he would spend in the classroom could be better used in advancing his products. And he did the right thing.

Four weeks after dropping classes, Freddie invented a computer program and earned $80,000 which he used to create a shoe for people suffering from dementia. But it wasn’t an ordinary shoe. Inside, there was a GPS tracker that worked two-way communication.

Later, he also invented a phone with a built-in wireless blood glucose meter. 

Working hard and using his talent the right way made Freddie an owner of a company that is now worth $62 million. It is at the same time the only minority-owned telecommunication company in The U.S.

“Believe in what you do. Don’t let anyone talk down to you. People will not see your vision. People will not believe in you. But just believe in yourself and keep thriving,” this inspiring young man says.

This past Father’s Day showed us once again why the family of the two iconic Hollywood legends, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, is picture-perfect.

The Escape from New York star and Hawn’s children, Oliver and Kate Hudson, have always been very close. In fact, they consider him their father and love him unconditionally. The same, however, cannot be said of Kate and Oliver’s estranged biological father, musician Bill Hudson, who asked from his children to stop using his surname.

Neither Oliver nor Kate miss any chance to remind Kurt Russell of how important he is to them. When their mom started dating him, they were 6 and 3 years old, and he has been the father-figure for them ever since.

When speaking of her relationship with Bill Hudson, Kate says she doesn’t regret not growing up by his side or being close to him because he doesn’t know her “from a hole in the wall.”

“But I don’t care. I have a dad,” the Almost Famous star told Vanity Fair according to ABC News, referring to Russell.

This Father’s Day, Kate posted a heartwarming message for the man who raised her. “Our great loyal protector. Our dependable authentic captain. Our wild, sometimes untamed adventurer father!” she wrote in her Instagram post.

“A childhood and adulthood of adventure,” Kate added. “Our Pa always makes life fun. Always down for exploring, always ready to take on the good life with his family. He’s one hell of a Dad.”

On his 70th birthday, Kate paid lovely tribute to Kurt Russell. “He gave me the gift of confidence instilling a knowingness in me that I deserved everything I worked for and I knew that he’d always have my back in whatever challenges may lay ahead,” she wrote.

“When you have a dad who gives you permission to be confident you live courageously.”

8-year-old girl saves older boy from drowning despite not being able to swim

How far would you go to help a stranger in need? When we notice someone is in danger or in need of help, some of us decide to turn a blind eye, while the rest would go the extra mile without hesitation.

It was a hot day in Scotland and one 8-year-old girl named Tierney Batt was enjoying near the cool water of the River Tay’s Moncreiffe Island in Perth in an attempt to get away from the high temperatures when she heard someone screaming. As she ran closer to the river, she noticed a boy in distress who was struggling to stay afloat.

Tierney doesn’t know how to swim, but that didn’t stop her from getting in the water. She did all she could in order to keep the boy’s head above the water. Had it not been for her bravery, a tragedy could take place.

Luckily, the boy, Cayden Peterson, managed to get out of the water safe and sound. His mother, Kerry, said Tierney was “incredibly brave, calm and simply amazing” for what she did, as per the Daily Record.

“For a young child she did something some adults might not have thought about,” she added.

“I can’t express just how grateful I am – things could have been very different if she hadn’t helped him. She put herself in a situation of danger too, so I’m just so happy they’re both okay.”

Tierney’s dad Greig said he is glad his daughter helped save a life but added that he was fearful.

“Proud isn’t the word,” he told the Daily Record. “The whole family were so nice, they thanked us so much and Kerry sent me a message on Facebook just saying how grateful they were.”

Speaking of how her son ended under water, Kerry said:

“The water might look still and you might think it’s not too deep, but my son had his feet on the bottom of the river.

“All of a sudden it dropped and he couldn’t touch the bottom, and there was an undercurrent.”

Luckily, this situation ended the good way all thanks to Tierney’s heroic act. She’s such a brave young girl.

Betty Reid Soskin, the oldest park ranger in America, retires at 100 years old

“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life,” the great Confucius once said. I truly believe that loving what you do makes life way easier and more enjoyable.

Betty Reid Soskin is one of those people who never get tired of their job. If you wonder why, you may find it incredible that she is the oldest park ranger in America who retired last September upon turning 100 years old. Yes, you’ve heard that right.

During the last 15 years or so, Betty has been sharing her life stories, including those from World War II, at Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historic Park in Richmond.

Speaking of her passion for the job, many of her coworkers agree that Betty has had a huge influence for the park to be what it is today.

A public celebration honoring Betty’s retirement and her milestone birthday will be held on April 16, 2022.

“To be a part of helping to mark the place where that dramatic trajectory of my own life, combined with others of my generation, will influence the future by the footprints we’ve left behind has been incredible,” Betty wrote in a statement.

During her young years, Betty worked as a file clerk in a segregated Union hall. Later, she and her husband ran a record store, Reid’s Records, which closed in 2019.

After working at the park for some time, Betty got permanently hired as part of the National Park Service at the age of 89. She led public programs.

“Being a primary source in the sharing of that history – my history – and giving shape to a new national park has been exciting and fulfilling,” this incredible woman said. “It has proven to bring meaning to my final years.”

Chuck Sams, the National Park Service Director, said: “Betty has made a profound impact on the National Park Service and the way we carry out our mission. Her efforts remind us that we must seek out and give space for all perspectives so that we can tell a more full and inclusive history of our nation.”

Betty, who has also been a social activist her entire life, will be honored in a beautiful way, with a school named after her. Lovely gift, indeed.

McKayla Maroney reveals the truth about the ‘not impressed’ face at 2012 Olympics

Competing at the Olympic Games is a dream of many professional athletes, but getting there is pretty hard because among the rest, it takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and not giving up.

McKayla Maroney took the world by storm when she won gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics. She was only 16 years old when she left judges and millions of people in awe with her flawless Amanar performance. Of course, it took long years of practice for her to make a name for herself in the world of gymnastics, but she loved every second of it.

Besides her huge success, Maroney became knows worldwide because of the facial expression she made when she received silver for ending up second after the women’s vault competition. Her “not impressed” face became a viral meme and was all over the Internet.

So how did everything start for Maroney who’s no longer competing professionally?

Born on December 9, 1995, in Aliso Viejo, California, to parents who were heavily involved in sports their entire life, it didn’t come as a surprise that young Maroney showed interest in sports early in life.

Being an energetic child, Maroney’s parents believed she needed to be involved in some sort of activity.

“My mom put me in gymnastics because I had so much energy, and I was always running around, so she thought gymnastics might take away some of the insane amounts of energy,” Maroney wrote on her profile on U.S. Gymnastics.

At the age of eight, Maroney practiced up to eight hours a day. Even then, she somehow knew, or at least wished, to be in the Olympics.

“She was happiest in the gym,” Maroney’s mother Erin told OCRegister. “When she walks in the gym, there’s a feeling that comes over. It completes her.”

“I just loved doing stuff that most people can’t do with their body,” Maroney added. “I can flip in the air and just fly on certain things. And I just love that feeling of working so hard on something that you really, really want and reaching that goal. It’s the best feeling.”

Her love for gymnastics, along with her dedication, took Maroney to the U.S. National Championship where she won bronze in the Vault Junior Division. At the time, she was only 14.

Her incredible talent was noticed by many, and it was very obvious she was meant for great things.

In 2011, Maroney competed at the World Championship where she won the National Championships in the Vault Junior Division. A year later, the entire world would learn of her. At the Olympics, she was a member of the American women’s gymnastics team dubbed the Fierce Five. The best thing of all was that her childhood friend she shared her dreams with was part of that team as well.

“When I think about it, it makes me want to cry almost. To have that childhood friend, to have somebody you’ve worked so hard with, we went through so many things together, to have two girls from the same place like Aliso Viejo to make it to the Olympics would just be awesome,” Maroney said of her friend Kyla Ross.

Maroney won gold in team competition and even though everyone was convinced she would get one in the individual vault competition too, that didn’t happen. As she was on the podium, Maroney made her now famous face expression which made her an internet sensation. At that moment, she had no idea her photo had gone viral. She only learnt of that once she returned to the Athletes’ Olympic Village and saw a message of her father which said to check the Internet. Maroney even tried doing the same expression together with former President Obama.

She spoke of the famous photo of her and told Inside Gymnastics in 2014 that she literally did the face for two second.

“Like, if you watch the video, it’s two seconds. And I remember thinking, did I just make a face? Because it’s natural. I do it all the time, I have pictures of me when I’m little doing it. I have it on my Mac computer when I’m like 13,” she said.

In 2013, Maroney won another gold at the World’s Championship and focused all her time and energy on competing at the Rio Olympic Games but was prevented to attend it because of health issues. Today, even though she’s no longer competing professionally, she hates it when magazines say that she retired.

“I don’t want anybody to ever think that McKayla is retiring. I don’t even want people to use that word,” she said in 2016. “The only difference is I’m not competing anymore.”

“You have to be so passionate and so in love with gymnastics to be able to get to the Olympics,” she said recently. “When you start losing even just an ounce of that, I was just like, I’m not going to make it.”

Maroney was brave enough to speak about former U.S. gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar who worked at USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University for years. He was accused by a number of gymnasts that he was abusive, which he later admitted.

Maroney opened up about her experience with the infamous doctor and took to Twitter to speak of the importance of not staying silent.

In 2018, shortly after she was witness in the case of Nassar, she developed an eating disorder. She struggled for a year before she enrolled in an online course for people with eating disorders. Currently, she could be seen in a commercial for Geico, where she uses her incredible gymnastic skills.

She’s interested in health and wellness and is running an Instagram account related to it. She’s also writing a book in which she speaks of her professional life, as well as her personal struggles.

“I want to be looked at as someone who just keeps going because that’s what we have to do in this life,” McKayla Maroney told Elle.

“For so long, I was surviving. Now I feel I’m actually living.”

Bruce Willis was experiencing issues on his movie sets before his family stepped in to help, source reveals

Ever since the news of Bruce Willis’ retirement from acting spread like a wildfire, millions of fans were left in disbelief. Now that the world learned the Pulp Fiction star has been diagnosed with aphasia, a condition which affects one’s ability to communicate, people close to Willis opened up about the problems he was facing during the filming of his recent movies and how they all knew something wasn’t right with his health.

A source was reported to have told Page Six: “He was having cognitive problems, they all knew Bruce was having problems.”

The source further revealed, “Everybody knew, the cast and crew. His family has stepped in, they moved in to take care of him.”

Apparently, many of the people who worked alongside him noticed he was struggling with his lines and was using “earpieces, hearing things, for them to feed him the lines.” As it turned out, this made it difficult for them to have him on set.

For some of the films released last year, as well as this year, such as Survive the GameCosmic Sin and Hard Kill, the production team was forced to use doubles due to Willis’ apparent problems no one spoke about publicly until his family decided to step in for him.

“It became very apparent that he was having problems,” the source said. “So they’d use body doubles, not just for action [sequences], but for maximizing his screen time.”

Willis didn’t film more than three days in a row and needed time off very often. He asked to be allowed to shoot the movies close to home. “It was becoming super obvious he was having trouble … he could not act anymore,” the source told Page Six.

The Die Hard star starred in a number of movies during the last two years, most of which were low-budget projects. While some suspected he was facing health issues, others were convinced he was aiming to easy paychecks. One thing was certain, there were speculations about him until his family revealed the truth.

In a statement, they wrote: “To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities,” adding that he’ll be “stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.”

The statement further read: “This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support. We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.

“As Bruce always says, ‘Live it up’ and together we plan to do just that.”

Beyond the statement, no other representative of Willis or the family commented on the actor’s health.

We hope things would get better for Bruce Willis and he would receive the treatment and the time he needs to live a normal life.

Adorable 5-year-old girl walks up to the stage to perform rendition of ‘My Way’ by Frank Sinatra for the judges

Young Sophie Fatu is a musical prodigy who is stealing hearts with her out-of-this-word singing abilities. America first learned of this beautiful girl when she took the stage of the famous show America’s Got Talent. Of, course, seeing how young she was, the judges didn’t really believe that such a powerful voice could get out of such a tiny human.

Simon Cowell, who is known as the toughest judge of all, started laughing as he saw Sophie entering. But just moments later, she left him in complete disbelief.

Although she was just 5 years old at the time, Sophie chose a demanding song, Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” Not only she sang it to perfection and didn’t miss a note or skipped a word, but she also used gestures and rose her hands whenever she was getting to the high tones.

Needless to say, this cutie got four yeses from the four judges who were mesmerized by her talent. Simon told her, “Sophie, you are hilarious, I want you date my son,” and as the audience burst out laughing, he added, “He’s just split with his girlfriend so I’m going to have to make an introduction because he’s gonna love you.”

Sophie on the other hand was listening very carefully and was left in disbelief by her favorite judge’s words.

Everyone agreed that Sophie was the cutest 5-year-old that has ever walked that stage and we can’t agree more.

Toddler found dead after he disappeared while playing in the backyard, lawyer says it was a preventable tragedy

Putnam County Sheriff’s Office issued a missing child alert after 1-year-old Jose Lara was reported missing by his family. The mother explained that the boy and his sister were playing in the backyard when she briefly took the girl inside the house to clean her up. When the two got outside shortly after, Jose wasn’t there. His toy track was at the backyard but the child was nowhere to be seen.

The search was extensive and tireless, employing drones, night-vision tools, bloodhounds, and helicopters. Eventually, the boy’s dead body was found inside the septic tank. As the opening of the septic tank was covered in dirt, plywood, and weeds, it took some time for the boy to be discovered.

“It’s not an uncommon practice in a situation like this when there’s a child missing to search the septic tank as well,” Sheriff Gator DeLoach said during a press conference, as reported by News4Jax.com. “Actually one of our leadership team members made the call to drain the septic tank. At that point, it was unfortunately when we discovered the child’s body,” the Sheriff added.

Authorities do not suspect any foul play as they believe the boy fell after failing to see the opening because of the weeds. However, they add that despite that, the investigation is still open.

Pastor Albert Gutierrez of Iglesia Internacional JesuCristo Es El Senor said the entire community gathered together to pray for Jose. “Church was praying, hoping everything was okay but they thought maybe it was a kidnapping, but it didn’t happen.” He explained that Jose’s mother moved to the States from Honduras a little over a year when she was still pregnant with Jose.

In the meantime, Attorney Kay Harper Williams, who represented a family whose child died in a similar manner around 3 years ago, said that “this is another completely preventable tragedy.”

“If it is true that the septic tank opening was covered with plywood, that would not meet any standards and it should have minimally had a high-density plastic cover and those covers are less than 50 bucks,” she noted.

One widow, in a story that has haunted me for years, was nothing like her late spouse. Her husband was a man who worked very hard for his money and felt that because he did, he deserved to keep it all to himself. Guided by this kind of moral compass, he also expected his honorable wife put her morals on the line to grant him a dying wish. Helpless dog tied to a pole reaches out his paw to the officer who came to save him

It is hard to understand the reason why some people abandon the pets they once took care of. What is even more devastating than leaving a poor animal behind is letting them die without even giving them a second chance in life.

Shelters, no matter how crowded they are, would always offer help if someone decides they no longer want their pet, but despite that, many leave the poor animals at dumping grounds or on the streets.

Recently, police officer Angela Laurella from Florida came across a devastating sight. While on the job, she noticed a dog tied to a pole. The moment she approached closer, the sweet Pit Bull reached out his paw towards her as though he knew she was there to save him.

The dog, who was named Liam, was in a terrible condition. The leash he was tied with was way too short and he was unable to move despite the temperatures reaching almost 100 Fahrenheit the day he was found. Liam was emaciated and dehydrated, with every bone and rib protruding.

Laurella was awre she needed to act fast, so she contacted 100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida. Although the shelter was over capacity, the founder, Amy Roman, couldn’t say no to welcoming Liam in.

Liam weighted 17 pounds only, and it was very obvious he had a hard life, but despite that, he never stopped smiling and loving everyone around. The staff at the shelter were amazed by his positive spirit and they knew he would start gaining weight, which is exactly what happened.

The road to a complete recovery won’t be an easy one for Liam. He’s still getting treatments and visits the vet very often, but Roman says he is thriving.

Once this loving dog gets better, he would be given up for adoption. One thing is certain, after everything he’s gone through, Liam deserves a forever home.

28-year-old has only 10 minutes to decide if he wants to adopt his week-old nephew or let the newborn go into a foster home

If you are a fan of talent shows, chances are you’ll recognize this guy. He was part of American Idol and made it to the Hollywood round but left the show after the group performance.

But 28-year-old Marcio isn’t a guy who quits easily, and this year, he came back even more determined than before to show the world his talent.

However, it wasn’t just his singing that stole the hearts of many Americans. His life story touched many as well.

“Growing up in the inner city, it was hard,” he said. “It was tough, and a lot of people succumb to the circumstances. So I wanted to be a light for those who don’t believe in dreams or don’t see them being possible or obtainable, you know what I’m saying?”

When they were very little, both Marcio and his sister ended up in foster care. They didn’t have it easy, but that never discouraged him to change his life for the better. So, he found comfort in the music and decided to compete in the show.

However, soon after that happened, he learned his sister was expecting a baby.

“You know how they say the cycle repeats. It started off with my mother in the system. Then me in the system. And then my sister had a child.”

His sister struggled with drug addiction and wasn’t allowed to keep her son. Sadly, that meant the little one would end up in foster care just like his mom and uncle once did.

But as the baby turned a week old, police and social workers paid Marcio a visit.

“The police and the social worker came to my home, they brought him and here was this week-old baby,” he said. “They said, ‘You have 10 minutes to decide if you will keep this child or he goes in the system.’”

Marcio knew that raising a baby would be a hard job, but he didn’t want his nephew to share his fate so he decided to take him in.

“I had no idea what I was doing. But he’s actually a real gift. I know it was the right decision. And he’s changed my life.”

Singing on the show is now something this incredible man does both for him and the little boy in his life.

“I want to show him what a man can really do when you step up to the plate. I want to give him a better life.”

The audition warmed our hearts and we can’t wait to hear what Marcio has to offer in the future.
