Robert De Niro’s 19-year-old hrandson Leandro passed away at the age of 19.
Leandro was the son of De Niro’s daughter, actress Drena De Niro. Sharing the devastating news of her son’s tragic loss, she posted a heartbreaking message on Instagram on Sunday night.

“My beautiful sweet angel. I have loved you beyond words or description from the moment I felt you in my belly,” she started her post. “You have been my joy my heart and all that was ever pure and real in my life. I wish I was with you right now. I wish I was with you. I don’t know how to live without you but I’ll try to go on and spread the love and light that you so made me feel in getting to be your mama. You were so deeply loved and appreciated and I wish that love alone could have saved you.
“I’m so sorry my baby,” the actress further wrote. “Rest in Peace and Eternal Paradise my darling boy.”
She didn’t share anything regarding the reason of her son’s passing but tagged the boy’s father, artist Carlos Mare, in her post.
Drena is the daughter of Diahnne Abbott. De Niro adopted Drena when he married Abbott and gave her his last name. She’s he’s oldest daughter.
Robert De Niro said in a statement on Monday that he was “deeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo. We’re greatly appreciative of the condolences from everyone. We ask that we please be given privacy to grieve our loss of Leo.”

This year’s Trooping the Colour celebration marked King Charles’ public birthday for the first time ever since he became the head of the monarchy. This celebration is of great value to the British people because it represents a traditional event which has been celebrated for hundreds of years.
Trooping the Colour typically takes place every year on the second Saturday in June and has its origins on the battlefield.
“In order to ensure that every soldier would be able to recognise their colours, the flag would be marched or ‘trooped’ regularly round the ranks. A regiment’s colours came to have huge significance for serving soldiers, and the gain or loss of colours were seen as decisive moments in battle,” the Royal Museums Greenwich shares on its website.
“This military function gained royal significance during the reign of George II, the first monarch to tie his birthday celebrations into the summer ceremony – despite the fact that his actual birthday was in November.
“[King] Edward VII also had a November birthday, and it was during his reign that the summer ‘official’ birthday celebrations were standardized. It was also under [King] Edward VII that the inspection of the troops by the monarch became part of the celebration.”

The event included over 1,400 soldiers, 400 horses, and 400 musicians who gave King Charles a royal salute.
With his son, Prince William, and sister, Princess Anne, King Charles arrived at the Palace on horseback, where they conducted a formal review of the British military. Meanwhile, Queen Camilla and Princess Kate – together with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – were taken to the ceremony in a carriage.
And pretty much as always, it was the youngest royal in attendance, Prince Louis, who stole the show. He was pictured either holding in a sneeze, trying not to openly laugh, or simply reacting to a bad smell.

This wasn’t the first time that Prince Louis ‘misbehaved,’ which is a normal thing to do considering his age. “When Prince Louis misbehaved at the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, for example, by sticking his tongue out at his mother, Kate’s reaction was praised by teams of expert commentators,” author Tom Quinn wrote in his book Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up In The Royal Family.
“She apparently used a secret code to calm the children, as she does on occasions — she simply says, ‘Let’s take a break’. But as a former staffer explained, the children know these few words carry far more weight than we might imagine.”
Louis’ siblings on the other hand were spotted chatting to one another and according to lip reader Jeremy Freeman Princess Charlotte told her mom, “Mom, George wiped it on his trousers.”

Although the three of them are still young to be able to understand the real meaning of being royals, at least Louis, they are still expected to follow royal rules and traditions.
During the Trooping the Colour carriage ride, Kate tried calming her children down by an eight-word order: “Do not look behind whilst on the coach.” As William was on horseback, it was Kate who had to govern the children solo.
“She beamed with pride when Louis started miming drumming along with the band in the carriage,” body language expert Judy James said. “Talking to her children, there were a couple of gestures of what looked like guidance about when to wave.
“There was also a spreading gesture of both hands that would normally mean quite a severe message of when to stop or what not to do, too,” the body language expert added.

“She also put her hands below public view in the carriage to mime that ‘stop’ or ‘end’ sign to them as though warning them where the boundaries were, and on the way back she was doing small reward nods and smiles for their good behaviour, to ensure they were enjoying the event too.”

One thing about Kate Middleton is that she always looks stunning no matter the occasion. Her wardrobe includes designer clothes as well as cheaper pieces of clothing.
Recently, she came under the fire for wearing a dress very similar to one she already has, thus royal commentators criticized her for spending a much of money on clothes while her husband is trying to fight homelessness in the country.
As per royal expert Daniela Elser, Kate spent staggering $337,000 on her wardrobe last year.
This year, as any other in the past, the royals were part of the Royal Ascot, the legendary racecourse that hosts a special week of horse racing annually. These races take place for 300 years and are an important part of the royal tradition with royals making appearances while wearing fabulous outfits and extravagant hats. Late Queen Elizabeth, who was a huge lover of horses, just like the rest of her family, including King Charles and Queen Camilla, only missed the Royal Ascot once throughout the years. It was the last year of her life when she didn’t feel well and was forced to watch the races from her home in Windsor.

The Royal Ascot festival had become synonymous with the late Queen. In total, she had 24 Royal Ascot winners, and always presented the trophy to the winner of the Gold Cup at the Royal Ascot. The only time she didn’t present the award to the winner was in 2013, and the reason why was because she was the winner herself.
As expected, the Prince and Princess of Wales were in attendance.
What the guests wear during the races, or to be more precise during the four enclosures the races consist of, is determined beforehand. The dress code is different in each enclosure, and every year, Royal Ascot puts out an annual style guide to help explain the rules.

In all other enclosures, including the Windsor Enclosure, there is no must-follow dress code — but you must still avoid wearing anything branded, any replica sports clothing, fancy dress or anything novelty.”
When it comes to women, the dress code is more flexible. However, there are still expectations to be met. For example, in the Royal Enclosure, women must wear dresses or skirts which should fall just above the knee or longer, and lace and chiffon fabrics are permitted. Moreover, a hat must be worn, but a headpiece with a minimum of 4 inches is also acceptable.
For the Queen Anne Enclosure – named after the course founder – women must wear a dress or top and skirt with shoulder or halter neck straps (lace and chiffon fabrics are permitted, with no minimum length). Moreover, one must wear a hat, headpiece, or fascinator.

As each day of the Royal Ascot starts with the Royal Procession, the members of the Firm arrive in carriages.
For the occasion, Kate Middleton wore a stunning Alexander McQueen dress and a hat designed by one of the Royal Family’s favorite milliners, Philip Treacy. Further, she wore a pair of Jennifer Chamandi Lorenzo 105 Red Suede Pumps, as well as a vintage Hermes Rio Red Leather Clutch.
Royal fashion expert Christine Ross spoke to Newsweek about Kate’s choice of outfit and said that the princess employed one of Queen Elizabeth’s tricks, and that’s the bold choice of color which would help her be instantly recognizable among the attendees.
“The Princess of Wales seems to be employing one of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s sartorial tricks, wearing head-to-toe bold colors in order to be seen more easily,” Ross said. “By wearing bright colors, even the furthest seats can say they caught a glimpse of the Princess of Wales. This was a powerful tool used by Queen Elizabeth II, and this shows that both women know the power of their fashion choices.”

Kate paid tribute to her late mother-in-law by wearing her custom-designed earrings.
Of course, the opinions regarding Kate’s overall look were divided. While some praised her for her choice of dress and hills, others criticised her choice of jewelry.
“Love the dress, hat and shoes. Kate looks stunning! I feel the earrings don’t work with the style of everything else. They look like cheap fun casual lunch earrings,” one person wrote.
“She is gorgeous in red! But…The clutch is pure Disappointment,” another added.

Losing a loved one can be the most difficult thing a person can ever experience, but even during the darkest of times, God finds a way to remind us that things do turn better eventually.
Courtney Hill and her husband Bryan had a perfect marriage. They were parents to a daughter and were looking forward to their life together following Bryan’s deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Sadly, before they could see their daughter grow together, Bryan was killed in a car crash. This broke Courtney’s world into a million pieces, but she needed to stay strong for her daughter who lost her daddy.
As Courtney was preparing for the wake, she learned something that left her in complete shock. She was pregnant. Then, during the wake, she held Bryan’s hand and whispered in his ear, “Sweetheart, you’re going to be a dad again.”
She was now a single mother who expected a new child with the man of her life who was no longer there. But Courtney was determined to have the baby and be the best mother.
Following a doctor’s visit, Courtney learned something she never expected to. She wasn’t expecting one child, but three. “My jaw dropped. But I was excited to have three more smiles that remind me of him,” she told CBS Chicago.
Unfortunately, with multiple pregnancies there are always risks, and when Courtney had another ultrasound, she received some horrible news. One of the babies didn’t make it. Luckily, the other two, Miles and Harper, were born perfectly healthy.
Looking at her children, Courtney knew her husband would be proud of them, and she always found strength in the fact that he was looking over them from above.
When people asked her if her babies were twins, Courtney would always answer, “I call them surviving triplets.”
Thanks to the help of her family and friends, Courtney is going strong and raising her three children the best she can. She’s a proud mother who is looking forward to the future.

For many years, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore were considered one of the most famous and most powerful Hollywood couples.
They first met on the premiere of Stakeout, which Moore attended with her then-fiancé Emilio Estevez. However, the connection they felt was instant, and soon after, they started dating. In her memoir, Inside Out, Moore wrote of that serendipitous encounter. “I’d never encountered treatment like this before,” she confessed. “Bruce was so gallant- in his own boisterous way, a real gentleman. When I said it was time for me to go home, he offered to walk me to my car. He was so eager about it- Like a little boy who didn’t want to miss the ice-cream truck. When he asked for my number, I felt a wave of schoolgirl flutters.”
The couple has three daughters together, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.
Moore and Willis weren’t meant to stay together for life, at least as a couple. In 1989, they announced they were splitting and their divorce was finalized in 2000.
Calling their marriage quits didn’t mean the two would go into war against each other. On the contrary, they remained very close not only for the sake of their daughters but for themselves too.
Even today, they spend plenty of time together as a family.
After the divorce, Willis spoke to Rolling Stones, and admitted he didn’t know what went wrong between him and Moore.
“I still love Demi. We’re very close,” he revealed. “We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we’re probably as close now as we ever were. We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids.
“Our friendship continues. The institution has been set aside … It’s difficult to live your life and marriage under a magnifying glass, which is what happens to movie star couples.”
In her book, Moore wrote, “It’s a funny thing to say, but I’m very proud of our divorce,” adding that Willis was afraid things would turn ugly because of her “anger and whatever baggage” she had from their time together. But that wasn’t the case, neither she nor he held a grudge against each other.
When Willis married his current wife, Emma Heming, with whom he has two daughters, he and Moore still remained very close.
In 2009, the Die Hard star made a comment on their blended family, explaining how they managed to preserve such a special bond. He said, “Demi and I made a choice to put the kids first, and we’re lucky that it turns out we all have fun together.”
When Rumers took part in Dancing with the Stars, both her parents were there to cheer for her and Moore even took part at Willis’ Comedy Central Roast in 2014.
In 2022, she thanked her ex-husband for their beautiful blended family. On his birthday, she posted a message saying, “Happy Birthday, Bruce! I’m appreciative of our blended family.”
Willis’s family announced that he stepped away from the acting career that meant so much to him following the aphasia diagnosis, a condition which affects one’s ability to communicate. Later, it was revealed that he suffers from frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
Rumer, who opened up about her parents’ sacrifice said she’s forever grateful her mom and dad kept her and her sister shielded from the public eye and managed to keep things between them civil.
“I don’t think I could have gotten luckier and couldn’t be more grateful for all the things that my parents have done to really make that happen,” she said in an interview with Sarah’s Backstage Pass.
“They put us first and I think that was one of the most important things that they did. I have friends whose parents can’t even be in the same room with each other and the only people that are really affected the most are the kids. It’s just sad. It’s really a bummer,” she added.
“I hope they can set an example for other families who may be going through that situation. I mean what could be better than having four parents? It’s an even bigger support system.”
Bruce and Moore have been such great parents to their kids. Their blended family is beautiful and we only wish them the best life brings.

Being the son and the grandson of two acting legends, Michael Douglas and Kirk Douglas, has to feel special. This is the story of Dylan Douglas, who is now in his 20’s and is pursuing a completely different career than that of his famous mom, dad, and grandfather.
Dylan’ parents married in 2000. When they first started dating, the story of their romance was all over the magazines, mainly because of their age gap of 25 years. But neither Michael nor stunning Catherine Zeta-Jones cared of the opinion of the public as they knew they found their soulmate in one another. “I don’t take any of this for granted,” Zeta-Jones told People at her wedding. “When I look at Michael, I run around like a little girl. I can’t believe I came into his life and he came into mine.”
Months after they tied the knot, the pair welcomed Dylan into their life. Michael had another son from his previous marriage with Diandra Luker, Cameron. In 2003, they welcomed their daughter Carys Zeta-Douglas.
Both Michael and Catherine, who are devoted parents, wanted to raise their children away from the public eye. Being celebrities of their rank, they knew their kids would feel the pressure of having famous parents, so when Dylan was just a year old, the family moved to Bermuda. Michael’s mom was from this island and he spent his summers there when he was young so he believed it was just the place for them to be.
“Bermuda creates an environment for us away from the entertainment business, and gives our kids independence and freedom where showbiz isn’t on everybody’s lips,” Douglas said, according to the Bermuda Sun. “It’s a lovely, lovely place.”
Although they loved their life there, the family didn’t stay in Bermuda for many years. In fact, it was Dylan’s problem with dyslexia that made them return to New York. Dylan attended Windward School, which specializes in dyslexia.
Life wasn’t easy for young Dylan back then. His brother Cameron was sentenced to 5 years in prison and his father Michael was diagnosed with stage 4 tongue cancer.
As Dylan was doing his best to settle in his new school, his dad was battling the horrible disease. Thankfully, Michael ended up winner and Dylan overcame his dyslexia all thanks to his school.
In fact, during a Windward School fundraiser, sweet Dylan used the opportunity to speak of just how much the school has done for him. He also spoke of the impact his father’s battle had on his life.
His mom shared Dylan’s speech on Instagram, and everyone realized just how kind and thoughtful Dylan has grown up to be.
“At home, I was alone, but at school I was far from lonely. At Windward I was free. It was like the Mecca of dyslexics. In 2010 everything was normal again at home, I could finally see my mum again and my dad was cancer free,” Dylan said. “Everything was beautiful again.”

Back in 2010, Michael spoke of his kids and described them as “well-mannered, confident and worldly” young people. He said how dyslexia runs in the family and his brother has it as well, and added how he and Catherine are “old-fashioned parents who are proud of their kids.”
According to his Instagram page, Dylan is the founder of “Make Room Now” where he works as a Political & Outreach Director.
He is very interested in history, especially decolonization, freedom movements and first-time voting activism. He’s also into skydiving and other sports and similar activities.
“He just did a skydiving thing,” Michael said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “But I remember that age. It’s a hormonal thing, I think, for boys, testing yourself. I just think it — you know, what I did not like is he was the first one to jump. I said, ‘Don’t be the first one to jump!’” he continued. “Let a couple other people go off first to test it … So I said, ‘Okay, just don’t be first!’”
Dylan is a young man who is grounded, just like his parents and who loves his family. His sister, Carys is also attracting a lot of attention recently. In 2017, she had her highly anticipated debut at New York Fashion Week. Back then, she was just 15 and stayed out of the spotlight for some time until she took the stage together with her mother once again. At the New York Metropolitan Opera House, Carys and Catherine slayed the runway for Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda women’s couture and it’s safe to say that all eyes were on them. This event made everyone realize that Carys is a spitting image of her famous mom.
Actress Meg Ryan, the star of the Hollywood classics Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail, gained fame during the 80’s and 90’s. She was considered America’s sweetheart and was described as a “girl next door.” Her charm and charisma, along with her awesome looks and talent, helped her rise to stardom.
However, some years ago, she decided to take some break from acting and focus all her time on her family.
Ryan was born in 1961 and grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut. Her parents divorced when she was still a teenager and that affected her life a great deal.

Ryan studied journalism at the University of Connecticut and later at the New York University. At the time, she started doing commercials in order to earn some money, but got attracted to acting and landed a role in As the World Turns.
She had her breakthrough with the film Top Gun where she played the role of Carole Bradshaw, the wife of Nick “Goose” Bradshaw played by Anthony Edwards. During the filming, Ryan fell for her onscreen husband and the two started dating for a while. Not long after, Ryan landed a role in Innerspace where she met her future husband Dennis Quaid.
“She had already been in “Top Gun” but in a small part. She also had the lead in a picture called “Armed and Dangerous” with John Candy that had come out recently. But this was a great step up for her and of course, she was introduced to Dennis and later they got married,” the director, Joe Dante, shared with Cinema Retro.

Ryan and Quaid tied the knot on Valentine’s Day 1991.
“It was like a thunderbolt,” Dennis said at the time. “Both of us felt, ‘This is it. We’re going to be together.’”
Their marriage lasted 10 years. At the time she and her husband announced they were splitting, rumors about her romance with her co-star Russell Crowe made headlines. Ryan and Crowe started dating while filming Proof of Life together. However, Ryan denied her romance with Crowe had anything to do with her marriage, which she claimed was already in shatters.
“It was a great story. But what wasn’t in the story was the reality of my marriage for nine years. Dennis was not faithful to me for a long time, and that was very painful. I found out more about that once I was divorced,” Meg Ryan told InStyle Magazine in 2008, eight years after her separation from Quaid.
“I think he took a big hit, but Russell didn’t break up the marriage. He was definitely there at the end, but it wasn’t his fault,” Ryan explained. “The public and the press tuned in way after. The reasons we broke up have nothing to do with another person,” she added.

Quaid wasn’t happy with his ex’s comments. “It was eight years ago, and I find it unbelievable that Meg continues publicly to rehash and rewrite the story of our relationship,” he told the New York Daily News.
While she spoke of their marriage as of “unhealthy” one, he perceived their union quite differently. “Sure, I still love her,” Quaid told Independent. “I’m very fond of her, and we have a lot of fun. We spent 13 good years together. We had a kid together, and we shared so much: she made my life.”
Ryan and Quaid have one son together. Jack Quaid followed into his famous parents’ footsteps and played in Hunger Games among the rest.

In 2006, as her career slowed down significantly, Ryan adopted daughter Daisy, a girl from China who was just 14 months old at the time.
“I just really wanted a baby; I was on a mission to connect with somebody, and Daisy and I got to meet each other this way at this time. We are so compatible. And also having the experience of having had Jack and now to have Daisy in a different way — there’s no difference in the love you feel,” Ryan shared with Redbook magazine in 2007.

In recent years, Ryan who is 61, hasn’t appeared in public much. She also took some time off from the screen. However, according to her close friends, she is planning on conquering Hollywood again. Among the rest, the members of the British royal family help plenty of different organizations with their work by getting involved and bringing publicity. However, as these requests are of great number, the royals limit the their patronages to a manageable number in order to give them quality time.
As well as the rest of the royals, Kate Middleton provides support to different charities. Some of them include Action for Children that helps with family support, foster care, adoption, child neglect, and disability respite therapy, and the children’s mental health charity Anna Freud National Centre For Children And Families. Further, the Princess of Wales is involved with the Evelina London Children’s Hospital and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.
Over the years, Kate has taken on around 20 patronages and counting.

One of the issues she pays much attention to is the mental health of children, which led to Kate founding the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood and launching a new campaign for children’s mental health.
As expected, her husband does the same. One of the main concerns of Prince William has been the issue of homelessness which he tries to make “rare, brief and unrepeated” with his major five-year campaign to end homelessness he started in June.
“Everyone should have a safe and secure home,” Prince William said, adding that he wants to stop the “prejudice and stigma” around homelessness.

However, as much as William does to accomplish this goal, there are always critics who doubt his intentions. One of them, among the rest, is the anti-monarchy group “Republic” member Graham Smith who believes the future King is “hypocritical.”
“The last thing we need is for William to get involved in this issue, a man who has three huge homes and a vast estate gifted to him by the state,” Smith says.
This criticism was then extended to Kate who wore a dress which cost around one thousand pounds when she attended the Order of the Garter ceremony. As everyone agreed she looked stunning in the dot polka dress, many argued that the price of it was ridiculous while many Britons struggle to make ends meet dubbing the choice of clothes a “mishap.” On top of it, she wore a very similar dress at the Royal Ascot last year.

“This was a bit of a flop, not the outfit, the circumstances under it. It just didn’t sit well,” royal commentators Michelle Thole and Rachael Andrews said on their podcast Keeping Up With The Windsors, as reported by Express. “And this year, she had on shoes that looked very similar to ones that she’s previously worn before, but again, its a different designer, but they look almost the same.”
“She’s obviously got her favourite designers but why [is she] picking a dress that’s so similar? Why not bring out the dress you’ve previously worn? Last year the dots were a bit smaller or this year’s were, and that was about it, and the colour. Come on!” Andrews added.
According to royal expert Daniela Elser, Kate spent staggering $337,000 on her wardrobe last year.
“It’s not as if she worked that much more. In 2020 she undertook 108 engagements, in 2021, that figure was 123, and last year, 138. And yet, over the course of that same period of time, the number of new things she has worn has risen from 134 in 2020 to 204 in 2022,” she wrote. “So too has the average cost per item increased over those three years, from $1171 per item to $2007 per item.”

On her podcast, Andrews went further and said, “As she’s Princess of Wales now, it is like she has a certain uniform, and I think we are seeing that, but she had so many outfits that she could re-wear to an event like this.
“How many coat dresses has she got that she hasn’t worn more than once to a church service? Bring that out. Bring something out that you haven’t worn in eight, [or] nine years, and everyone would be like, ‘wow, she’s doing a re-wear, that’s so cool.’”
“We absolutely love Catherine and we’re normally all hot on what she wears but it just felt like a mishap this time and a lot of people felt the same.”

These royal experts believe that since most of Kate’s outfits look pretty much the same as she’s following certain codes on how to dress, there’s no need for buying that many of them. Of course, they agree that spending that much money on clothes while her husbands is fighting homelessness is not reasonable and that it doesn’t look good for him either.

A couple, in their seventies, didn’t show up on their 50th anniversary celebration and the reason why left their entire family shocked and heartbroken. Unfortunately, they were both found beaten and stabbed to death in their home in Newton, Massachusetts on Sunday morning. There was a third victim too, the wife’s mother who was in her nineties.
“Their 50th anniversary was to be celebrated in a blessing after communion at the 10 a.m. Mass. When they didn’t show up – I can’t go into the details about who discovered them – but we became notified, and myself and a number of the staff spent the day there,” the Rev. Dan Riley of Our Lady Help of Christians told WCVB.
The couple, Gilda D’Amore, 73, and Bruno D’Amore, 74, were about to attend their anniversary celebration, but when they failed to show up, one of their family members left the church, where guests were waiting for the couple, and went to check on them when he discovered their lifeless bodies.
“There were obvious signs of struggle in one of the bedrooms of the home, including broken furniture and a crystal paperweight covered in blood. We also found in the kitchen a knife with red, brown stains,” Middlesex District Attorney Marian T. Ryan revealed during a press conference.
The investigation showed forced entry along with bloody, bare footprints in the hallway. The footage of the surveillance cameras showed images of the suspect, Christopher Ferguson, 41, near the D’Amores’ home Sunday morning.
Another break-in happened near the D’Amores’ house that same morning, but there is no evidence if the two cases are related.
Ferguson was arrested Monday and charged with murder, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and burglary. He will face additional charges following the results of the autopsies.

The news about the Texas airport worker who was killed after being sucked into a jet engine of a Delta airlines on Friday was a shocking one and made national news headlines over the weekend.
The death sparked concerns about safety procedures but The National Transportation Safety Board said it would not open an investigation into the death. According to the information the medical examiner provided them with, “there were no operational safety issues with either the airplane or the airport,” and the ground worker at the San Antonio International Airport, David Renner, had jumped into the engine.
However, The Federal Aviation Administration indicated that they would be carrying out an investigation into the death.

The cause of death is listed as blunt and sharp force injuries and the manner of death is listed as suicide as per the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
“This isn’t the first time David has tried something like this from my knowledge,” his brother Joshua Renner told the Daily Mail. “There were other times. This time I thought it was different.”
“The reason I say that is because he was almost five months clean and living every day to the fullest…there was zero indication this time,” he explained and recalled his older brother’s personality and tendency to try to make people laugh with “one joke a day.”
He added: “David had been clean for over eight months, was in therapy, [was] actively taking his prescribed medication and had finally became the David we all knew he could be.”

Renner was employed by Unifi Aviation which Delta airlines contracts to do ground services for their fleet at San Antonio International Airport. A Unifi spokesperson said, “From our initial investigation, this incident was unrelated to Unifi’s operational processes, safety procedures and policies.”
The company shared their condolences and added they were “deeply saddened by the loss of our employee at San Antonio International Airport during a tragic incident.”

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, they say. Well, we are all well aware that this is something better said than done, but the truth is that when we put our mind to something and work really hard for it, nothings is impossible.
Cara Brookins found herself in an abusive marriage. Being a mom of five, she knew she needed to save her children from the toxic environment they were forced to live in, so she left her husband, took her kids with her, and built herself a new home from scratch. How she did it? By drawing construction plans all by herself and watching YouTube videos that taught her how to lay a foundation, build a wall, run a gas line, and install plumbing, among other building techniques. This sounds incredible, doesn’t it?
When she thinks about it at this point, she realizes that it does seem impossible the whole way through.
At the time she started building her family’s new home in 2007, Cara, who worked as a computer programmer analyst, couldn’t afford to buy a home that would be comfortable enough for all of her children, and that’s when she came up with the idea to build it from the ground up.
“It felt like, ‘If anyone were in our situation, they would do this,’” Cara said. “No one else saw it like this, and in retrospect, I realize it sounds insane.”
She purchased a one-acre land for $20,000 and got a construction loan of roughly $150,000.
Her kids, with the oldest being 17 at the time and the youngest one just 2, got involved in the building of their 3,500-square-foot home.
Her son Drew helped her with the creation of the plans, while 11-year-old Jada used buckets to transport water from the neighbor’s pond, as there was no running water on-site. She then mixed it with 80-pound bags of concrete and formed the foundation mortar.
Every day after school, the kids would go to the site and help in the process. For the most demanding chores, this determined mother hired a part-time firefighter with building experience for $25 an hour. “In terms of knowledge, he was a step ahead of us,” she recalled.
It was on March 31, 2009 when the family finally moved to the Inkwell Manor, named in honor of Cara’s dream of becoming a writer.
“We were mortified that building our own shelter was our best alternative,” Cara said. “It wasn’t anything we were really proud of but it turned out to be the most beneficial thing I could have done for myself.”
“If I, a 110-pound computer programmer, can build an entire house,” she said, “you can do anything you set your mind to.”
She then proceeded saying, “Decide on a single aim and stick to it. Find that large thing you want to do, take tiny steps toward it, and bring along others who need to heal with you on the journey. There’s a lot of power in that.”

The Earth is a place of wonders, each of which more breathtaking than the other. The truth is that we are still unaware of everything this world keeps hidden from the human eye.
It was 1991 when a farmer from Vietnam discovered a cave which seemed to be unexplored at that point. It was located in Vietnam’s Phon Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Sadly, he was as well unable to get inside because of the deafening roar of water which greeted him at the entrance.
It took some years before British explorers decided to get inside the cave and what they stumbled upon left them completely speechless.
The place has been described as heaven on Earth and it definitely resembles something divine.
Inside the cave there are lakes with crystal clear water, finest sand in the world, and even a river. Soon Dong, the cave, is considered largest in the world with measuring 5 kilometers in length and 150 meters in width.
What is most impressive of all is that inside this magnificent cave there are clouds and even plants and wildlife.
In order to get inside, you first need to descend 80 meters on a rope, but it’s more than worth it.

The small submersible journeying to visit the wreckage of the Titanic with five passengers onboard which went missing and later imploded caught the attention of millions. The passengers suffered immediate death. Among them was a young man, the son of businessman Shahzada Dawood who only went on the journey to keep his dad company.
The search for the submarine was immense, but sadly, it ended with tragedy. The Titan‘s tail cone, which was found approximately 1,600 feet from the Titanic’s bow, was discovered by a remotely operated vehicle from Horizon Arctic, as reported by Rear Admiral John Mauger.
NBC News’ Armin Cate said about what happened next: “From my understanding, the submersible imploded. In other words, the force of the water was so strong that it blew the back and the front of the submersible off.
“When you crush that tube in the middle it’s like crushing a can of Coca-Cola you might say.”
Immediately after the submersible lost contact, a sound compatible with an implosion was heard, according to fresh confirmation from the US Navy. As per media reports, the OceanGate’s Titan may not have been operating in line with international laws.
There are now questions regarding the reasons which led to the implosion and how it actually looked like.
Independent 3D artists have shared bone-chilling videos on TikTok depicting what might have happened during the suspected implosion of the Titan sub.
One of the videos, posted by user @sincerelybootz, what resembles a military sub suddenly flattens out, curls into a taco-shaped piece of metal, and rips into a pieces, only air bubbles and shrapnel behind.
Another clip, posted by user @starfieldstudio, animation of the OceanGate Titan shows the sub careening toward the seafloor when it begins to crumble like a stomped tin can. The metal simply explodes, leaving nothing behind. “The hull would immediately heat the air in the sub to around the surface of the sun’s temperature, as a wall of metal and seawater smashed one end of the boat to the other, all in around 30 milliseconds,” the caption reads.
OceanGate’s CEO Stockton Rush, who was killed during the dive, allegedly dismissed warnings about the submersible’s safety in the past.
Correspondence between Rush and an expert on the deep sea, Rob McCallum, was revealed. In it, a message sent from McCallum to Rush, he writes, “I think you are potentially placing yourself and your clients in a dangerous dynamic. In your race to [the] Titanic you are mirroring that famous catch cry: ‘She is unsinkable.’” He then adds: “I implore you to take every care in your testing and sea trials and to be very, very conservative.”
To what Rush responds, “We have heard the baseless cries of ‘you are going to kill someone’ way too often. I take this as a serious personal insult.”
According to the Guardian, “The vessel was not registered with international agencies, nor was it classified by a maritime industry group that sets basic engineering standards. Its operators OceanGate have said this is because they believed Titan’s design was so innovative it would take years for inspectors to understand it.”

Madonna has experienced a health scare and will postpone at least some of her Celebration world tour that was to kick off next month. The tour aimed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of her breakout single, Holiday, and was expected to follow her experimental, theatre-based Madame X shows in 2019 and 2020.
“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” Madonna said in the tour’s announcement video.

The diva’s longtime manager Guy Oseary revealed that the global popstar has been admitted to hospital because of infection that was “serious” and led to “a several day stay in the ICU” adding that a full recovery is expected. “At this time we need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour,” he added. “We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”
As per media reports, she had been receiving treatment at a hospital in New York City. As of now, Madonna has reportedly been discharged from hospital and transported back to her New York home via private ambulance.
A number of celebs and friends, as well as fans, wished the diva a speedy recovery.
Some of the tweets following the news of her hospital admission read: “Madonna is the blueprint whose influence continues to carry through EVERY cycle of pop stars,” and “Yes, even your fave. The literal definition of ‘icon.’ Yet she’s been ridiculed and minimised from the start of her career. Glad she’s expected to fully recover. Show some respect.”

Chagas is a tropical parasitic disease caused by Trypanosoma cruzi. It is spread mostly by insects in the subfamily Triatominae, known as “kissing bugs.” This disease is also known as a silent killer because symptoms may appear even years after a person gets infected.
The issue with it is that not much is done for either prevention or treatment of it because it is mainly the poor people from low-income housing in rural or suburban areas who get infected at night while sleeping.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in Mexico, Central America, and South America, approximately 8 million people–6 to 7 million worldwide as reported by the World Health Organization (WHO)– have Chagas disease, the majority unaware of their infection. About 12,000 people die of Chagas each year, killing “more people in Latin America than any other parasite disease, including malaria,” as reported by the Guardian.

Emiliana Rodríguez, who is now a mother, remembers a horrific scene from her childhood when she witnessed a friend of hers dropping down dead on the field during a game. At the time, she had no idea what took her friend’s life, her family only told her it was a “monster” which comes out during the night.
“The fear usually came at night. Sometimes I didn’t sleep,” she said. “I was afraid of sleeping and not waking up.”
Ever since, she has been afraid of that monster and the disease it spread, Chagas. Some 27 years later, she escaped her home country of Bolivia and moved to Barcelona, but what she didn’t know was that she couldn’t escape the Chagas.
When she learned she was pregnant, doctors discovered she had the infection in her body and she wasn’t even aware of it. There was fear that it could affect her baby as well. “I was paralysed with shock and remembered all those stories my relatives told me about people suddenly dying,” she said, also recalling the death of her friend. “I thought, ‘What’s going to happen to my baby?’”
Luckily, Rodríguez underwent treatment to prevent the parasite from reaching her unborn child through vertical transmission. After her baby girl was born, she tested negative.

Another case comes from Mexico and it involves Elvira Idalia Hernández Cuevas who had never heard of Chagas until her 18-year-old was diagnosed with the silent killer.
“I had never heard of Chagas so I started to research it on the internet,” Hernández said in an interview with the Guardian. “I was terrified when I saw it described as a silent killer. I didn’t know what to do or where to go.”
The issue is that just like Hernández, many other people are unaware of this disease and the blood-sucking bugs which cause it.
Chagas is named after Carlos Ribeiro Justiniano Chagas, a Brazilian physician and researcher who identified the human case in 1909. Over the past several decades, Chagas disease is known to be prevalent in Latin America, North America, Europe, Japan and Australia.

Speaking of the disease and what doctors knew about it, Hernández said, “In Mexico, the authorities say that there aren’t many people affected by Chagas and that it’s under control, but that’s not the situation.
“Medical professionals don’t receive any training and mistake Chagas for other heart diseases. The majority don’t realize there is Chagas in Mexico.”
Unfortunately, it is neglected partly because “it’s a silent disease that stays hidden for so long in your body … because of the asymptomatic nature of the initial part of the infection,” as per Colin Forsyth, a research manager at the Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi).
Referencing the poor populations, Forsyth continued, “The people affected just don’t have the power to influence healthcare policy. There’s this confluence of biological and social issues that keep it hidden.”
However, as there are more and more cases worldwide, things may change, but likely not in the near future.
Professor David Moore, a consultant at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in London, created the Chagas Hub, a UK-based facility with the primary goal of having “more people tested and treated, and to manage the risk of transmission, which in the UK is from mother to child,” he said.
This disease can only be treated with two medicines, benznidazole and nifurtimox, both of which have been on the market for half a decade but don’t seem to be much effective. Sadly, there are no funds for further research on which other drugs can be used to treat this silent killer.
At the moment, Rodríguez is doing all in her power to raise awareness about Chagas through a campaign by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health. “I’m fed up with so much silence,” Rodríguez says. “I want people to talk about Chagas, and to know about it. I want people to get tested and to get treatment.”

The WHO established World Chagas Disease Day, which runs every year on April 14, the day in 1909 when Carlos discovered the first human case. WHO writes that “Global targets for 2030 and milestones are set out to prevent, control, eliminate and eradicate a diverse set of 20 diseases and disease groups.” This includes Chagas.
To prevent a possible infestation, the CDC recommends that you:
Seal cracks and gaps around windows, walls, roofs and doors
Remove wood, brush and rock piles near your house
Use screens on doors and windows and repair any holes or tears
Seal holes and cracks leading to the attic, to crawl spaces below the house and to the outside
Have pets sleep indoors, especially at night
Keep your house and any outdoor pet resting areas clean, in addition to periodically checking both areas for the presence of bugs.
In case you see this bug, you shouldn’t smash it. Instead, you should carefully place the bug in a container and fill the container with rubbing alcohol or freeze it in water which you will then bring to your local health department or a university laboratory for identification.

Actress Miriam Margolyes, best known for her roles in the 1993 film The Age of Innocence and as Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter franchise, posed for the June issue of Vogue magazine as part of its Pride Month celebrations.
She has been one of the many UK’s most prominent LGBTQ+ actors, musicians, politicians and athletes who took part at Vogue’s most recent issues where they spoke openly about their sexuality.
Others, alongside Miriam, have been actress Janelle Monáe, singer Rina Sawayama, The Last of Us’s Bella Ramsey, Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa and House of the Dragon’s Emma D’Arcy. Among the interviews there were people who are not celebrities as well, among them the first gay couple to get married in the UK in 2014 to the oldestperson to undergo gender reassignment surgery at 81.
Among the rest, Miriam told the magazine that she “never had any shame about being gay” and “wouldn’t want to be straight for anything,” adding: “I think gay people are very lucky because we are not conventional, we are a group slightly apart. It gives us an edge. We’re good artists, we’re good musicians.”
Asked what she thinks about the future of LGBTQ rights in the UK, she was honest in that she has little hope. “It’s not so much the gay part of things. I’m worried about all of it,” she said. “I just think England has become a s***-hole. And the government is at the heart of the s***. There’s been a moral slide in England into the deep pit of iniquity.”
Miriam has been an advocate for the LGBTQ community ever since she came out of the closet and shared with the world that she is a lesbian. This happened back in 1966 when homosexuality was illegal in Britain, thus her move was considered bold and very brave by people from the community who felt the same. In the Vogue interview, she spoke of those times and said, “I never had any shame about being gay or anything really. I knew it wasn’t criminal because it was me. I couldn’t be criminal.”
In her book This Much Is True, the actress revealed that her mother passed away shortly after Miriam revealed she was gay. This loss caused immense pain at Miriam who harbored guilt for many years. “I always believed that my coming out in some way caused it,” she wrote. “I had caused the person I loved most in the world a pain she could not bear. It was a horrendous time and I was very unhappy. I knew I couldn’t change what I was; I should not have told them.”
The award-winning actress posed for a photo for which she wore her grey tresses styled in a bun and sported eye-catching make up adding a deep rouge lip.

Speaking about her body image, Miriam admitted that she has struggled with insecurities, but is determined to embrace her form regardless.
“I think my face is kind and warm and open and smiley,” she said. “But I hate my body. I hate big t**s [and I have] a drooping belly, little twisted legs. I’m not thrilled with that. But you just make the best of it. You have to. You do the best you can.”
She commented: “It’s a strong position if you’re not afraid to be who you are.
“We’re all so insecure. People are frightened such a lot of the time and what I’ve always tried to do… (is) make people feel good about themselves.”

65-year-old actor Julian Sands who pivoted from the romantic lead in A Room With a View and played in films such as Warlock was confirmed dead Tuesday after being reported missing near after going on a hike at the snow-covered mountains of Southern California on Jan. 13.
Sands was an avid mountaineer. In a 2020 interview with The Guardian, when he was asked when he was happiest, he answered: “Close to a mountain summit on a glorious cold morning.” On the day he went missing, he had gone hiking alone in the Baldy Bowl area of the San Gabriel Mountains, about 50 miles northeast of Los Angeles, which is a popular location for hikers and mountain lovers.

Following the report that he had gone missing, a search was conducted. Unfortunately, the search was concluded Saturday, after five months. He was searched for with helicopters and drones but the crews were severely hampered by wintry conditions that lasted through spring. He was only discovered when hikers stumbled upon remains of a human which then turned out to be Sands’.
The exact reason for his passing has not been determined yet. “The manner of death is still under investigation, pending further test results,” the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement, per BBC. “We would like to extend our gratitude to all the volunteers that worked tirelessly to try to locate Mr Sands.”

According to the BBC, the actor’s family had already accepted that Sands was deceased, though this news will no doubt give them closure.
“We continue to hold Julian in our hearts with bright memories of him as a wonderful father, husband, explorer, lover of the natural world and the arts, and as an original and collaborative performer,” the family said in a statement.
“I have come to terms with the fact he’s gone and for me that’s how I’ve dealt with it,” his brother Nick Sands said, saying he had already said his “goodbyes.”
In a statement shared with the Los Angeles Times, Sands’ manager, Sarah Jackson, said the actor “was a great friend and client.”
“He chose interesting projects that mattered to him and was adored by everyone who worked with him,” Jackson said. “He was a passionate climber, and we draw [consolation] from knowing that he passed in a place he loved, doing what he loved. We are filled with the most beautiful memories.”
Sands’ films include Arachnophobia, Naked Lunch, Warlock, Ocean’s 13, Warlock, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Leaving Las Vegas. On TV, he had recurring roles on 24 and Smallville.
“I didn’t want to be a Hollywood actor,” he told The Guardian in 2018, saying he wanted to challenge himself as an actor. “I was looking for something exotic, things that took me out of myself…I think I found myself a little boring.”

Although he wasn’t an A-list actor, he earned respect and appreciation both from his fans and the critics. “He was always good, always gallant and dignified,” said former New York Times film critic Janet Maslin. “I don’t remember a false move from him.”

Cathy Weed, a mom from Gwinnett County lost her life in a tragic manner after she stepped on an ant hill in her yard.
She was someone whom the entire community adored, a devoted mother who never missed any of her son’s baseball games, and an important pillar of the community, thus her loss left many heartbroken.
Tributes to Cathy were paid by those who knew her on the baseball field on which she cheered her son Gray who was a rising Sophomore and a member of the Mountain View High School Bears baseball team.
The tragedy happened after Cathy accidentally stepped on the ant hill. Sadly, she had had lethal allergy to fire ants and the reaction was so severe that she didn’t even have the time to get to her medication.
Her death was both sudden and immediate.

Back in 2018, Cathy experienced something similar but managed to survive. She experienced allergic reaction to an ant bite but was rushed to the ER on time. Back then, she spoke of the importance of having EpiPen at hand in case some is allergic to something. It was during the time when there was shortage of EpiPens. Sadly, years later, the same allergic reaction ended up taking her life.
Cathy’s obituary highlighted how special of a person she was. It read that she was an “extraordinary individual who touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering compassion will forever be remembered.”
Jason Johnson, the coach of Cathy’s son’s team described her as a wonderful person who shared a very strong bond with her son. “His mom was everything to [Gary], and he was 100%, even more so to her.”

Kurt Russel can brag with a career spanning 60 years. He had his acting debut back in 1963 when he landed a role in The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters, making him one of the lead actors of the 70s.
He and Goldie Hawn make one of the most adorable couples in Hollywood and prove the theory that celebrity relationships don’t last wrong.
They have been together for many years and both believe that the key to long lasting relationship is that they have never tied the knot.
“We have done just perfectly without marrying. I already feel devoted, and isn’t that what marriage is supposed to do?” Goldie told Woman’s Day in 2007. Kurt and Goldie first met on the set of The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band in 1966. Back then, however, it seemed there was no chemistry between them, probably because of the fact that Goldie was 21 and Kurt was still a teenager. From that movie on, both went on to have extremely successful careers.
Being in their 70s doesn’t stop Kurt and Goldie from leading pretty active lifestyle. In 2017 a source told Closer Weekly that Goldie had been super focused on her diet.
“She always says you’re as young as you feel, and she still feels like a 30-year-old. She’s healthy and vibrant and comfortable in her own skin,” the source said.
Another insider added: “[Goldie is] doubling down on working out. She’s never really just committing to one solid routine. Her big word is ‘diversity.’ Every day is different so she never gets bored of her workouts.”
Kurt is as active as she is, back some time ago, when he was to be inducted into the Oklahoma City-based Hall of Great Western Performers in October 2022, it was revealed he wouldn’t be able to attend due to “unforeseen medical issue.” In fact, he was planning on delaying the surgery, but doctors advised him otherwise.
As reported by the Oklahoman, the Christmas Chronicles’ star was going to have a hip surgery.
Around the same time, the actor experienced more health issues based on the photos of him showing him with cuts and sores under his lower lip that is said to be brought on by Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS), which has been linked to intestinal Cancer.
According to Cancer.Net, “the lifetime risk of Cancer in those with PJS may be as high as 93 percent.” The sores are dangerous and require proper treatment as soon as possible since it is a precancerous lesion.
Other photos of him with messy bandages covering some of the cuts on his face made fans worried as they believed he was suffering from something even serious, but it turned out that the cuts and bruises were movie makeup for his role in Deepwater Horizon.

When they landed the roles of Olivia and John Walton in the long-running series Waltons, actors Ralph Waite and Michael Learned became one of the most famous and most beloved TV couples.
The series featured the life of the family, who had several kids and grandparents, and their struggles to overcome what the Great Depression had brought to the country and its people.
The series was a big breakthrough for both Learned and Waite who rose to stardom almost overnight.
The two came from similar backgrounds. They were both part of large families and were the oldest children. Although Learned was born in Washington D.C., she spent most of her childhood on a farm in Connecticut with her five younger sisters. When she turned eleven, she left America for Austria and attended the Arts Educational School, Tring, which is now the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in Tring, Hertfordshire.
When she was cast for the role which helped her make a name for herself, Learned was 33 years old.
Waite on the other hand spent his childhood in White Plains, New York. Following high school, he joined the Marines after which he attended college.
When it came to their personal lives, they were far from the lives they played on screen.
Learned was married three times in her life. She first tied the knot when she was just 17 and married Canadian-American actor Peter Donat, with whom she had three boys. She then moved on and married two more times before she finally found the love of her life, her current partner, John Doherty.
At the time they started filming Waltons, Learned experienced problems with alcohol addiction, but her on-screen husband helped her overcome her issues. “I was drinking heavily when the show started, and Ralph saved my life. Really,” she said.
During breaks while filming she used to go to the local restaurants where she would drink, arriving back on set inebriated. It was Waite who spoke to her about her issues openly and made her realize that she needed to break the habit of drinking. Learned spent some time at her ex-husband’s cottage on the California coast to become sober.
Waite, just like Learned, was married three times before he found his bliss. However, although they both found love, there were always rumors surrounding their relationship.
Following Waite’s passing in 2019, Learned opened up about what the fans always suspected and admitted that she and Waite were deeply in love but never gave it a try for the sake of the series which turned them into stars. They were aware that if their relationship failed, things could have turned messy.
“We had a deep love for each other that we would have ruined if we had taken that extra step, and we didn’t,” Learned said.
“We never did, we thought about it, but we didn’t. And I think that’s why we became a spiritual husband and wife if you will, and I miss him terribly. His wife is a very good friend. But what Ralph and I had was something that came across on screen.”
They chose the series which entertained millions of fans over the years over their love for one another.

Besides being a famous musician who has spent his entire life giving his fans plenty of memorable moments with his music and performances, Donny Osmond is also a father and a grandfather of 12.
Donny and his wife of many years, Debra Glan, welcomed five sons together, Don, Jeremy, Brandon, Christopher, and Joshua.
Today, Don has four kids with his wife Jessica, Jeremy has three children with Melissa, Brandon and his wife Shelby also have four kids, and Christopher has one baby with his wife Alta. As of Donny’s youngest son, he and his wife tied the knot in 2020 but decided to spend some years on their own before becoming parents.
Donny and Debra became grandparents for the first time in 2005, when Jeremy and Melissa welcomed son Dylan. This was a joyous moment for the Osmond family who tend to spend as much time together as possible.
Donny, who is super busy performing and making music, still finds the time to spend with his grandchildren.
In 2012, Osmond appeared on “The Talk” for a ‘Father’s Day Special’, and his eldest son Don made a surprise appearance alongside him to deliver some wonderful news. He told Donny that he was about to become a father for the first time. Don said, “I wasn’t the first to make you a grandfather, but Jessica and I have your fifth grandbaby.” Donny received the news with plenty of emotions and started crying. Later on, he even revealed why he got so emotional. “They’ve been trying for a long, long, long time, I’m very happy for them and I’m pretty happy myself too!”
Further, Donny said that his son and daughter-in-law had been experiencing fertility issues, but they were able to overcome them, and today, they share four beautiful children together.
“We officially have a dozen! Debbie and I are so excited that our 12th grand baby was born two weeks ago. Don and Jessi welcomed Christian, their 4th son, on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 and we are already in love,” Donny wrote on Instagram.
His grandchildren are involved in plenty of activities, and that includes sports and arts, and Donny is always by their side to support their dreams. One time, he flew home just to see one of his grandchildren play a football match. After the win, he expressed his satisfaction and said how proud he was.
When his other grandson had a basketball match, Donny went to see him and went to LA to continue his residency right after that.
Donny once tweeted that another of his grandchildren was a talented artists whose work has been displayed at the National Museum of History in Washington, DC.
When his first granddaughter was born, Donny was over the moon. “She has the most lovable personality and always makes sure that everyone has a friend. I’m so lucky to have this little girl in my life. In fact, I often refer to her as my sweet little princess,” he later wrote.
A recent episode of one of the most popular quiz shows there are, Jeopardy!, made many question Americans and their faith after three contestants failed to give an answer to what seemed a rather easy question related to Christianity.
Namely, one of the questions during the episode which was on on June 13 in the category “dadjectives” was “Matthew 6:9 says, ‘Our Father Which Art In Heaven’, This ‘Be Thy Name.’” The contestants were supposed to answer “hallowed” or rather, “what is hallowed,” per the quiz’s regulations, but they didn’t. Allegedly, this enraged a huge number of fans.
“Not one contestant on Jeopardy last night knew the answer to this…Are you waking up yet?” one Twitter user wrote.
“The Lord’s Prayer growing up was like knowing The Pledge of Allegiance. You just did,” another added.
“While it may not be a sign of the end times, if DEFINITELY speaks volumes about Americans and their faith…or lack of,” a third wrote.
People couldn’t help but wonder how could they all fail to recognize a fairly obvious indication.
“I’m an atheist and even I knew the answer to that lord’s prayer question,” one Twitter user said.
“My 4 year old niece got the answer on this Question on Jeopardy! Just wondering maybe the contestants never heard about The Lord’s Prayer?” another added.
“How can those Jeopardy! nerds not know this answer. Have they never listened to Iron Maiden?” someone joked, referencing the Iron Maiden song “Hallowed Be Thy Name.”
However, although the question was pretty simple, some viewers argued that the contestants likely refused to provide an answer due to their low scores at the time being. They may have chosen to play it safe rather than risk falling farther behind.
Other believe that the quiz includes too many questions related to Christianity having in mind that the contestants come from different religious backgrounds, which might be another reason they didn’t provide an answer to what seemed like an easy question.
Despite the fact that none of the three competitors knew the Lord’s Prayer, they did a bit better when it came to ’70s movies. “He starred in the 2 films whose soundtracks were the top 2 bestselling albums of 1978,” was the final question. As expected, they knew the right answer was Travolta, John while the soundtracks of Grease and Saturday Night Fever were on. The competitor who won, Suresh Krishnan, extended his winning streak to six games.

Following Princess Diana’s tragic death, her two sons, William and Harry, were left in despair. The woman who meant the world to them was suddenly gone, and they were left in complete shock and experienced grief which is present until this very day.
Over the years, Harry accused the press for having part in his mother’s passing as they wouldn’t leave her alone. On the day she lost her life, she and her partner Dodi Fayed, the son of Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Al-Fayed, her driver Henri Paul, and her bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones crashed the Mercedes in the Pont de I’Alma tunnel in Paris while trying to escape the paparazzi.
The surgeon who was working at the hospital in France the night Lady Di died, MonSef Dahman, has spoken of what had really happened and what led to losing the People’s Princess.
“The thought that you have lost an important person, for whom you cared personally, marks you for life,” he told Daily Mail.

He recalled starting his shift at 8 a.m and being at the hospital the entire night. At approximately 2:06 a.m, around an hour and a half after Princess Diana’s accident, she was brought to the hospital. “I was resting in the duty room when I got a call from Bruno Riou, the senior duty anaesthetist, telling me to go to the emergency room,” Dahman told Daily Mail. “I wasn’t told it was Lady Diana, but [only] that there’d been a serious accident involving a young woman.”
The X-rays showed serious internal injuries, and Diana was given blood transfusion.
Sadly, she then suffered another cardiac arrest. Dahman performed a surgery but her heart couldn’t be restarted. “We tried electric shocks, several times and, as I had done in the emergency room, cardiac massage,” Dahman explained. “Professor Riou had administered adrenaline. But we could not get her heart beating again.”
“We fought hard, we tried a lot, really an awful lot,” he said. “Frankly, when you are working in those conditions, you don’t notice the passage of time. The only thing that is important is that we do everything possible for this young woman.”

Harry recalled the moment he got word of his mother’s passing in his book, Spare. He described how his father sat beside his bed, telling him: “Darling boy, Mummy’s been in a car crash.
“There were complications. Mummy was quite badly injured and taken to hospital, darling boy,” Harry recalled his father saying. “He always called me ‘darling boy,’ but he was saying it quite a lot now. His voice was soft. He was in shock, it seemed.
“With a head injury. They tried, darling boy. I’m afraid she didn’t make it.”
The prince further claimed that Charles put his hand on his knee, saying: “It’s going to be OK,” but that he “didn’t hug” him.
“Everyone knows where they were and what they were doing the night my mother died,” Harry stated.
“I cried once, at the burial, and you know I go into detail about how strange it was and how actually there was some guilt that I felt and I think William felt as well, by walking around the outside of Kensington Palace.”
“There were 50,000 bouquets of flowers to our mother and there we were shaking people’s hands, smiling,” he continued. “I’ve seen the videos, right, I looked back over it all. And the wet hands that we were shaking, we couldn’t understand why their hands were wet, but it was all the tears that they were wiping away.”

When then-Prince Charles and Lady Di got married, the pressure of having a baby shortly after the wedding was immense, so when William was born everyone was thrilled. However, the arrival of Prince Harry was a different story. According to Diana: Her True Story, Charles wasn’t happy that his second child was a son. “I knew Harry was going to be a boy because I saw on the scan,” she explained. “Charles always wanted a girl. He wanted two children, and he wanted a girl. I knew Harry was a boy, and I didn’t tell him.”
“First comment was: ‘Oh God, it’s a boy,’ second comment: ‘And he’s even got red hair,’” Diana added.
On the day of Harry’s christening, Charles allegedly told Queen Elizabeth, “We were so disappointed – we thought it would be a girl.”
“Mummy snapped his head off, saying: ‘You should realized how lucky you are to have a child that’s normal.’ Every since that day, the shutters have come down, and that’s what he does when he gets somebody answering back at him,” Diana said, adding that as Harry was born, their marriage “went down the drain.”
Among the rest, in his all-tell memoir Spare, Harry opened up about a joke his father made about him.
On the day Harry was born, Charles allegedly told Diana, “‘Wonderful! Now you’ve given me an heir and a spare — my work is done,’” Harry wrote of his dad’s words in Spare.
“On the other hand, minutes after delivering this bit of high comedy, Pa was said to have gone off to meet with his girlfriend,” Harry said, referring to now-Queen Camilla. “So, many a true word spoken in jest.”
Harry never truly overcame the grief and the pain that came with his mother’s passing.

When Kate Middleton’s parents started their company, Party Pieces, the future Princess was just a five-year-old girl. As they were preparing for the celebration of her birthday, they realized that the market lacked elegant tablescapes, as per the Vanity Fair. This was how the idea for a business was born. Thanks to their company, the Middletons made millions and were able to provide great life for their three children, Kate, Pippa, and James, and that included boarding schools.
“Party Pieces was literally born at our kitchen table, so I suppose the ‘big break’ moment came when I realized there were lots of other parents looking for more affordable and imaginative partyware and that I had correctly identified a gap in the market for quality products that added something special,” Carole, Kate’s mother, told SheerLuxe.
“It was so exciting knowing I had a business idea that could work.”

Not only Carole and her husband Michael were involved in the rise of the family company but their children too.
“Pippa wrote our ‘Party Times’ blog, James did the cakes when he first left school and Catherine developed our first birthday and baby category,” Carole revealed.
“My husband and I were young and a little inexperienced, but very enthusiastic, so we didn’t worry too much.”
It has been reported by a few magazines that nowadays the Middletons’ company is not doing well and that they are $3.3 million in debt.
However, back in the day, they were able to provide their children with quality education so Kate was sent to the all-girls boarding school Downe House for which her parents paid around £28,000 pounds in tuition. Sadly, that didn’t turn out to be the best decision as Kate experienced a very hard time there. According to her former classmates, she was often teased and bullied and she felt like she didn’t fit there.

A friend at a later school, Gemma Williamson, previously told the Daily Mail, “Apparently, she had been bullied very badly, and she certainly looked thin and pale. She had very little confidence.” Kate’s former classmate Emma Sayle said the princess hated that her school was “cliquey.”
“It is a very cliquey school, and there was a lot of pressure,” she told RSVP Live, as quoted by Express.
“The girls were all high achievers, and there were lots of girls with eating disorders. Everyone wanted to be the best, the fittest, the prettiest. I think Kate was miserable from the start.”
“Being especially slender and a head taller than her peers, she stood out for the wrong reasons and was teased for being gangly and lanky,” royal expert Katie Nicholl added.

Former Downe House student Georgina Rylance said how she believes Kate didn’t really fit in because she enrolled the school two years after her peers did. “It does make a difference going from eleven,” she told the Sunday Times, as per royal expert Katie Nicholl. “You have two years of bonding, your first time away all together. Even some of the most popular girls in my school had a hard time when they came in at thirteen.”
Further, Kate was really into hockey and the school only offered lacrosse, something that Kate hadn’t tried before. And even when she didn. she wasn’t good at it which made her disappointed.
When she told her parents how she felt, many said she was ‘too sensitive.’

“Certainly, I have no knowledge of any serious bullying at all. But there’s what everyone calls bullying, and there’s actual, real, miserable bullying where someone had a dreadful time,” Susan Cameron, then headmistress the school, told The Mirror.
“That certainly didn’t happen. Yes, there would be teasing. It’s all a part of the normal competition of growing up, of establishing a pecking order,” she continued.
“Girls are cliquey by nature, and they can be rather cruel. If you’re attractive, too, that can be seen as rather a threat. They can sense those who are slightly weaker or who haven’t shown their strengths yet, and it’s those girls who are likely to end up being picked on or teased.
“I think it’s fair to say she was unsettled and not particularly happy. Maybe in Catherine’s case, she just kind of went quiet and didn’t say anything,” the former headmistress continued, adding that if Kate had been in deed badly bullied, she wouldn’t be the woman she is today.

Eventually, Kate changed schools. She enrolled Marlborough College where she thrived and was loved by everyone. According to her former classmates, many boys were into her because she was s real beauty.
According to royal experts, Kate’s unpleasant experience has a lot to do with how she raises her children and that’s one of the reasons why she and William wish they have ordinary childhood.
