Leslie Jordan’s cause of death determined

Actor Leslie Jordan, best known for the portrayal of Beverley Leslie on Will & Grace, as well as several characters on television in the American Horror Story franchise, Sid on The Cool Kids, Phil on Call Me Kat, and Lonnie Garr on Hearts Afire, died on October 24, 2022 after he crashed into the side of a building at Cahuenga Blvd. and Romaine St.

A law enforcement representative suggested Leslie lost control over his vehicle before crashing into the building.

“The world is definitely a much darker place today without the love and light of Leslie Jordan,” the actor’s spokesperson said, as per NBC News. “Not only was he a mega talent and joy to work with, but he provided an emotional sanctuary to the nation at one of its most difficult times.”

Back then, it was reported by the Los Angeles Fire Department that at the time first responders arrived at the scene, Jordan was pulseless and wasn’t breathing. After they released him from the seatbelt, he was given CPR and then advanced life support measures by the paramedics for over 40 minutes. Sadly, there was no change in his vital signs and he was declared dead at the scene.

At the time of the tragic accident, media outlets wrote that the crashing followed after certain medical emergency, but it wasn’t until now that the real cause of Jordan’s death has been determined.

The LA coroner confirmed that the 67-year-old actor suffered from a sudden cardiac dysfunction and arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, which resulted in a crash.

Similar to a cardiac arrest, sudden cardiac dysfunction occurs when there is a malfunction in the electrical system of the heart. This causes the heart to beat dangerously and extremely fast, also known as ventricular fibrillation. Arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, on the other hand, is the buildup of cholesterol, fats or other substances in the arteries. This buildup is often called plaque and can cause arteries to narrow, block blood flow, and lead to a blood clot.

During the pandemic, Jordan reached a new kind of fame, especially with the younger population, with his witty posts and silly videos. He gained millions of followers on social media and was dubbed a media phenomenon.

“I didn’t realize (I blew up) until last night when everybody started calling me telling me you’ve gone viral,” he told TODAY in March 2020. “I don’t really even know what that means!”

Leslie Jordan truly was a source of light for many. May he rest in peace.

Amy Grant’s scary bike accident left her with head injury which is giving her trouble

Over the summer, singer Amy Grant was hospitalized following a scary bike accident.

The Baby, Baby singer fell off her bike after hitting a pothole in Nashville in July, 2022. She was left unconscious for around 10 minutes and took around three months to regain her strength. She was even forced to postpone some of her concerts and only started performing three months later, in November.

Shutterstock

Recently, Grant opened up about her condition and revealed that the accident affected her memory and that she was forced to use teleprompter to remember the lyrics to her own songs.

“My memory is still coming back, and the stamina, they say 12-18 months after an injury like that,” Grant told E! News before a performance on January of this year. “Six months in, so I feel really good! I anticipate just getting better.

“So far, right now, I use a teleprompter,” she added. “There’s one tonight. I’m so glad. I used a teleprompter on the Christmas Tour.”

Shutterstock

In another interview, with Fox News, 62-year-old Grant said, “Honestly, I can’t remember what I don’t remember. So, I was at dinner the other night with a high school friend. We used to spend the night at each other’s houses. I said, ‘I’m embarrassed to ask you, are you and your husband still together?’ She said that Douglas died seven years ago, and it was like I had just heard it for the first time!”

This wasn’t the first time that Grant spoke of her healing.

“Last week was my first time back on stage, and I can’t think of a more gentle way to get back into the limelight than doing a Christmas concert with my dear friend Michael W. Smith,” Grant said while she attended the 45th Kennedy Center Honors.

“I was nervous that first day. I forgot lyrics to songs that I wrote. I’m just on a healing journey, but this time here. You know, love and kindness is also very healing, and I’m not kidding – I feel filled up from head to toe,” she said.

She then added that it is her husband, Vince Hill, who is her biggest support.

“He has just been so patient.” She added, “Vince has a kind of way of grounding the space that we’re in even without saying a word.

“I think early on I said, ‘What if I’m different, what if I’m not the same?’ and he said, ‘Hey, every day we wake up a little different, and we love each other, and it’s good.’”

She then added, “I feel like my old rascally self.”

We hope Grant would be able to regain her memory back completely and she won’t be experiencing issues in the future.

Mom notices something’s wrong when giving birth – 25 years later her daughter is still mistaken for a child

Before Michelle Kish was welcomed into the world, nothing spoke trouble. During each ultrasound, parents Mary and Brad were told that their baby daughter was perfectly fine and the pregnancy was a smooth one as well.

However, when Michelle was born, doctors immediately knew that something wasn’t right. Her face was a bit strange and her nose was so tiny that it resembled bird’s peak.

After running tests and consulting specialists from other hospitals, they were able to diagnose Michelle, and the news wasn’t pretty. She had Hallermann-Streiff syndrome, a genetic disease so rare that there are only 250 known cases worldwide.

”No one had ever seen it in person at Children’s Memorial Hospital, where Michelle was born. When the doctor gave us the diagnosis of Hallermann-Streiff syndrome my heart sank. I was worried how are we going to care for our child who had a rare genetic disorder that was one in five million,” Michelle’s mom told Daily Mail.

The condition is characterized by 28 symptoms, and sadly, Michelle has 26 of them.

Among the rest, she relies on electric wheelchair, hearing aid, probe, respirator, and visual aids.

Besides having Hallermann-Streiff syndrome, Michelle also suffers from a form of dwarfism, which affects her growth. Although she’s 25, she is often mistaken for a young child because of her petite appearance.

“Now Michelle is a 20-year-old woman, she is smart as a poodle and she is happier than ever. She is one of the happiest 20-year-olds I know,” mom Mary told the Daily Mail in 2018.

“She enlightens people’s lives with their joy. She knows she’s different but doesn’t let it break her down.”

Michelle dreams of becoming a doctor one day and is living her life to the fullest. She would really want to have a boyfriend, just like her sister.

Brad Paisley bad news

Having sold over 11 million albums over the years and earning multiple awards, including 3 Grammy Awards, 2 American Music Awards, 14 Country Music Association Awards, and 14 Academy of Country Music Awards among the rest, it doesn’t come as a surprise that singer-songwriter Brad Paisley is one of the most famous names in the world of country music.

Paisley was born in 1972 and he’s currently married to wife Kimberly Williams and is a father of two.

In recent years, there have been many stories surrounding Paisley’s health condition.

Media outlets claimed that the singer was diagnosed with brain tumor and needed to undergo a surgery.

Allegedly, he has also suffered severe stomach pain and was admitted to hospital after he started vomiting blood.

Neither the singer nor a representative confirmed these rumors to be true, and according to Paisley’s official website where he announces the tours he has scheduled for this year, we guess these rumors are exactly that…just rumors.

Paisley, who is worth around $65 million as per Celebrity Net Worth, lives in Tennessee with his family.

We truly hope Paisley’s health is in perfect condition and we wish him many more successful years and tours.

Lisa Marie Presley’s ex-husband has finally spoken out

Lisa Marie Presley’s ex-husband, Michael Lockwood, with whom she had twin daughters Finley and Harper, spoke of her tragic passing.

Lockwood’s lawyer issued a statement in which he stated that Lockwood now has the custody of the girls. He then added, “Her children needed her, so Michael hoped for a rapid and thorough recovery. It’s a shame things didn’t turn out that way,” as reported by Entertainment Tonight. “Michael’s entire world has changed. He is currently with both of his daughters.” The lawyer went on to share his and Lockwood’s condolences to the Presley family.

The news of Lisa Marie’s sudden passing was announced by her mother, Priscilla Presley, who wrote, “I have to convey the heartbreaking news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has passed away.

“I’d never encountered a lady as passionate, strong, and loving as she was. We ask for privacy as we cope with this sad loss. Thank you for your prayers and consideration. There will be no further discussion at this time.”

The singer-songwriter died two days after attending the Golden Globes event where she offered support to actor Austin Butler who portrayed her father in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic.

Lisa Marie was married four times. From her marriage to Danny Keough, she had son Benjamin, who sadly died of suicide in 2020, and actress daughter Riley Keough. She opened up about her son’s passing in an open letter she wrote for People, and spoke of the pain and the grief.

Elvis’ only daughter was married to Lockwood from 2006 to 2016, although their divorce was only finalized in 2021.

Lisa Marie adored her children and she was very proud of being a mother. Shortly before her twins were born, she spoke about motherhood in an ABC News interview and said, “Having children makes everything better. Even if you’re an adult, no matter what’s happening, they’re always there, so whatever they’re going through, you go through it with them as well. They act as your anchor, pushing you to abandon your identity and focus solely on them, which is fantastic. Oh, everything is fantastic.”

Her divorce battle with Lockwood was a long and tiring one because they fought over the custody of their daughters. However, even before the divorce was finalized, he went on with his life and got engaged to his new girlfriend.

Meghan could release her own memoir after Harry’s huge ‘Spare’ success, source claims

Now that Prince Harry’s all-tell memoir Spare has finally been published, all eyes are on him and the royal family.

“Vulnerable and heartfelt, brave and intimate, Spare is the story of someone we may have thought we already knew, but now we can truly come to understand Prince Harry through his own words,” President and publisher of the Random House Group, Gina Centrello, said.

“Looking at these extraordinary first day sales, readers clearly agree, Spare is a book that demands to be read, and it is a book we are proud to publish,” she added.

The publisher further released stats, revealing that prince Harry’s book has been sold in a staggering 1.4 million copies on its first day in the UK, United States, and Canada. Spare has been released in 16 different languages worldwide and is expected to be the best-selling book in 2023.

“We always knew this book would fly, but it is exceeding even our most bullish expectations,” Larry Finlay, managing director of Transworld Penguin Random House, said.

“As far as we know, the only books to have sold more in their first day are those starring the other Harry (Potter).”

Shutterstock

Spare, along with Meghan and Harry’s Netflix documentary series and the number of interviews they gave to the media, made their reputation among the British people to drop down to 24 percent compared to 80 percent a decade ago.

According to Harry, the first draft of his memoir, which was ghostwritten by American journalist J.R Moehringer, was 800 pages long. “It could have been two books, put it that way,” Harry explained, adding that it could have been two books but he left many things unsaid.

“There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know. Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me,” Harry said.

“And there were other bits that I shared with J.R. Moehringer, that I said, ‘Look, I’m telling you this for context, but there’s absolutely no way I’m putting it in there.”

Shutterstock

Considering the success the memoir reached, sources claim that Random House will encourage Meghan Markle to release an all-tell book herself.

“Nobody expected sales figures like the ones we are seeing,” a source shared with Express UK, adding that the figures have “taken everyone by surprise.”

“Harry could easily overtake the combined book sales of the Obamas, the company’s current joint best-selling authors. That’s why the heat is on to get Meghan’s version of events – both with the Royal Family and her own family members in America – out there in print as soon as possible, ideally early next year to pick-up sales when demand for Spare slows down.

“Having seen Harry’s sales, they’re convinced Meghan’s story in her own words can sell even more, especially in the US,” the industry insider claimed.

Despite that the need for privacy and more quiet life was one of the reasons why Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties and left Britain behind, they haven’t stopped giving interviews and speaking of the members of the Firm.

In his book, among the rest, Harry wrote that following the birth of Prince George, he wasn’t welcomed in the home of William and Kate in a way he expected he would be, despite the fact they lived within a walking distance to one another. He also labeled Camilla “dangerous” and spoke of the argument between Kate and Meghan at the time of Harry and Meghan’s wedding, the one the wold first learned about during the infamous Oprah interview when Meghan revealed that Kate made her cry.

According to Harry, Kate wasn’t happy with Princess Charlotte’s dress, who was a flower-girl.

However, although Kate claimed her daughter was in distress because of the dress, which allegedly was “too big, too long, too baggy,” she refused to meet Meghan’s tailor at Kensington Palace to have it fixed.

“Meg asked if Kate was aware of what was going on right now. With her father,” Harry said. “Kate said she was well aware, but the dresses. And the wedding is in four days!”

“I’m not sure what else to say. If the dress doesn’t fit then, please take Charlotte to see Ajay. He’s been waiting all day,” Meghan texted Kate, according to Harry.

Kate replied with, “Fine.”

Harry further wrote that when he arrived home, he found his then future wife sobbing on the floor. “It was intolerable but temporary. Kate hadn’t meant any harm, I told her,” Harry said.

Mariska Hargitay relied on faith in God during painful adoption process

I believe that when celebs and other influential people speak openly about certain subjects and issues, they help raise awareness.

Actress Mariska Hargitay, best known for her years-long role of Detective Olivia Benson in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and her husband, fellow actor Peter Hermann, welcomed their first child in 2006, two years after they got married. At the time August was born, the actress was 42 years old. However, her age didn’t bother her and she believed she had her son just at the right time.

“August has changed everything! You know, I think because I became a mom later in life, everything in life means more,” she previously told Traveling Mom. “Every day is deeper and richer and more soulful.”

James Devaney/Getty Images

A few years after he was born, August asked for a sibling and Mariska and Peter were as eager to make their family bigger so they decided to adopt. Finally, they met a woman who wanted to give her daughter up for adoption and believed Mariska and Peter would be the perfect parents. The couple was even present when the baby was born, but then the birth mother changed her mind.

It was a devastating time, but they didn’t lose hope and kept contacting their lawyer and social worker were relying on their faith in God.

Some time later, another woman who was about to give birth to a child she couldn’t care for was introduced to Mariska and Peter. This time, things went smoothly and the couple adopted sweet girl Amaya Josephine. The baby’s birth mother was black, but that wasn’t an issue for the couple. In fact, Mariska said: “We were excited to have a multiracial family, because that’s what the world is, and we want our family to reflect a realistic microcosm of the world.”

“I’m deliriously happy,” a then 47-year-old Mariska told People.

Larry Busacca/WireImage

August was very happy he got a sister he could play with. “He is over the moon,” Mariska said at the time. “He calls her his baby because he says the whole thing was his idea. He always talks about how he’s going to protect her. He’s going to be a great big brother.”

Shortly after, the welcomed another child into their lives. One day, their lawyer called them to ask how Amaya was doing and that’s when he mentioned there was a baby boy who was born two months prematurely and needed a home. When he told them that the baby’s name was Andrew they saw it as a sign because a dear friend of them named Andrew suddenly died before that.

“I don’t really know what to say about it, other than it was a no-brainer. Peter and I both thought, Let’s do it! I’m in!” she said. “It was like…a miracle. And I don’t use that word lightly. I’ve never made a bigger decision so quickly. The whole thing happened in a total of two days.”

Six months after adopting their daughter, Mariska and Peter adopted baby Andrew. Now their family felt complete.

“Adoption was a bumpy ride — very bumpy,” Mariska said. “But, God, was it worth the fight.”

It’s so awesome that this celeb couple was able to give two children a loving home.

She took a photo of her daughter, but when they looked closer they froze

Most parents enjoy taking plenty of photos of their children and posting them on social media, especially when it comes to important events such as first day of school.

A mom named Joy Mills is not any different. When her daughter, Brooke, was about to start seventh grade, Mills decided to celebrate it with a photoshoot. She asked her daughter to pose next to the tree in the yard.

At one moment, she stopped in order to take a look at the photos and that’s when she noticed something that chilled her blood.

On the tree, there was a huge snake stretching along the trunk, perfectly blending with the color of it.

In order not to make sudden movements, Mills didn’t tell her daughter about the uninvited guest but told her to safely get away from the tree.

“When she realized what was behind her she was speechless,” Mills said of her daughter. “We couldn’t believe it when we looked at my phone at the pics and just how close it was and we had no idea.”

Luckily, the snake didn’t do any harm to anyone, and Brooke ended up with a cool story to tell her classmates.

‘American Idol’ singer C.J. Harris tragically dead at 31 years of age

C.J. Harris, the 31-year-old singer who stunned the country with his enchantingly soulful voice when he ended up sixth on American Idol’s 13th season, passed away on January 16, 2023.

Before trying his luck on the show, he was part of The X-Factor and The Voice, but only had his breakthrough in 2014.

During the audition, Harris stunned the judges, Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr, with his powerful performance of the Allman Brothers Band’s song Soulshine. He dedicated his touching performance to his late father.

“You sing because you have to sing, not because you want to sing,” Keith Urban said to Harris. “And I mean that in the deepest way. … That’s why it’s so believable and real.”

As the show progressed, Harris attracted many fans. His performances of Can’t You See by the Marshall Tucker Band and If It Hadn’t Been for Love by the SteelDrivers made him a fan favorite.

Once the show was over and he made a name for himself, Harris went on the show’s live tour and later on he had a chance to perform with one of his biggest idols, former Hootie & the Blowfish singer Darius Rucker. The two performed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2014.

Harris released his debut single, In Love, in 2019 and on New Year’s Day of this year he shared with his fans that new music was coming soon.

Unfortunately, a few days ago, he went into cardiac arrest at his hometown, Jasper, Alabama, and was rushed to the hospital, but nothing could be done. He was just 31.

The news of Harris’ passing was announced to the media by Deputy Walker County Coroner Danielle Calloway.

American Idol shared their condolences and fond memories of Harris on Twitter.

“C.J. Harris was an incredible talent, and the news of his passing deeply saddens us,” they wrote. “He will be truly missed.”

Harris’ childhood wasn’t an easy one. He once shared with The Hollywood Reporter that his mother was his first musical influence. “I was six years old and my mom was in prison,” the singer recalled in the interview. “She would sing to me over the phone and tears would just flow out of my eyes.”

Harris learned how to play the guitar all by himself after his grandfather gave him a broken one when he was still very young.

“He had one in the shed and it had three strings on it,” Harris revealed in the interview. “He said I didn’t need to buy a whole new set of strings. So I would tune it in a way that when I strummed it, it sounded like it’s in a key of whatever.”

Harris worked hard to get to where he was, but sadly, his life ended tragically. May he rest in peace.

Pierce Brosnan’s daughter married in secret just days before her tragic death

When Pierce Brosnan met his first wife, actress Cassandra Harris, back in 1977, she was still married to husband Dermot Harris, with whom she had two children, Chris and Charlotte.

Brosnan was said to have been smitten by Harris’ charm and beauty. She was five years his senior, but he fell for her instantly and the two married five years later. After the passing of Harris’ first husband, Brosnan officially adopted her two children. The couple went on to have a child on their own, son Sean.

“We just clicked as a family,” the actor once revealed. “To begin with I was Pierce, then I was Daddy Pierce, and then I just became Dad. Charlotte and Chris have just been amazing in my life.”

When Sean was welcomed into the world, the family seemed complete. But then, in 1987, Harris received the news of the devastating diagnosis. She battled ovarian cancer for four years before passing away.

Brosnan recalled that the night he lost his wife was the longest of his life.

“I was in a helpless state of…confusion and anger. She was comforting me,” he told People as he opened up of the tragic loss he suffered.

“She has made me the man I am, the actor I am, the father I am.

“She’s forever embedded in every fibre of my being. She’s there with me every day. I was so blessed to have met someone like that.”

As expected, the loss affected the children as well.

Charlotte witnessed her mother struggle and losing the battle with the horrific disease which led her to drug and alcohol addiction.

Unfortunately, ovarian cancer haunted Charlotte again when she was diagnosed herself. She underwent through an extremely hard treatment and tried to be optimistic, but just like her mother, she lost the battle. Charlotte passed away on June 28, 2013, at the age of 42.

Days before her passing, she married her boyfriend Alex Smith in an intimate ceremony attended by her closest family and friends.

Pierce Brosnan paid tribute to his daughter. “On June 28 my darling daughter Charlotte Emily passed on to eternal life, having succumbed to ovarian cancer,” the actor said, as per The Guardian. “She was surrounded by her husband Alex, children Isabella and Lucas and brothers Christopher and Sean.

“Charlotte fought her cancer with rare grace and humanity, courage and dignity. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beautiful dear girl. We pray for her, and that the cure for this wretched disease will be at hand soon. We thank everyone for their heartfelt condolences.”

Today, Charlotte’s children are all grown up. Her daughter Isabelle is just as beautiful as her late mother.

Harry claims he was shut out and ‘never invited’ by William and Kate after George was born

It looks like Prince Harry’s memoir Spare didn’t spare anyone, not even the youngest members of his closest family.

Among the many revelations, there has been one involving Prince George. In fact, Harry opened up about the relationship with his adored nephew and how things between him and the now Prince and Princess of Whales changed following his birth.

George was welcomed into the world on July 22, 2013. The entire family, along with every Brit out there, was delighted with the arrival of the new addition to the royalty.

Harry, the proud uncle, never missed a chance to share with the world how happy he was with his new role. However, according to the memoir, things didn’t turn out as he expected.

“I was an uncle. Willy and Kate had welcomed their first child, George, and he was beautiful. I couldn’t wait to teach him about rugby and Rorke’s Drift, flying and corridor cricket – and maybe give him a few pointers about how to survive life in the fishbowl,” Harry wrote in his memoir.

Pool/Samir Hussein/WireImage

Back in the day, when George was born, Harry was asked how he felt about becoming an uncle, to what he replied, “When I saw him [Prince George] he was crying as all babies do, but it’s fantastic to have a new member of the family. I hope my brother knows how expensive my babysitting charges will be.”

Further, when asked what his ‘duties’ will likely involve, Harry explained, “To make sure he has a good upbringing, to keep him out of harm’s way and make sure he has fun. The rest of it I leave up to the parents.”

Two years later, when Princess Charlotte was born, Harry was overjoyed, but sadly, he wasn’t home at the time which didn’t mean he didn’t share the joy with his family. “I went to Australia for a round of military exercises, and while there, I got word: Willy and Kate had welcomed their second child. Charlotte. I was an uncle again and very happy about it,” he wrote in Spare.

Youtube/Inside edition

When Kate and William moved into Kengsington Palace as they needed more space following George’s birth, Harry moved into Nottingham Cottage, which is within walking distance from William’s home.

Being that close to one another, Harry was convinced he would be spending plenty of quality time with his nephew. But it didn’t turn out to be the case.

Harry wrote it was “nice to get out of the old place, but even better to live in front of Willy and Kate,” and he “could see myself dropping in to see them all the time.” He even imagined “throwing himself on the floor” to wrestle with George. But the reality was different.

“I took it for granted that I would be invited to their house at any moment. But the days went by, and it didn’t happen,” he explained. “I understand, I thought. They’re busy! Building a family! Or maybe… three’s a crowd. Maybe if I get married things will change.”

Shutterstock/Lwsi Cox

According to royal experts, Harry’s words may affect George. Angela Epstein of Daily Express said that Harry might have” overlooked the damage he could do” to his nephew.

“So given the way tragedy arced his young life, surely Harry’s concern for his own nephew, George, would be a matter of auto-fill. As the doting and fun-loving uncle, Harry has always displayed affection for his brother’s three young children,” she claims.

“So the possibility that George, as second in line to the throne, could be harmed in any way by the Duke’s rage against the monarchy should surely be a concern to him.

“Sadly, that doesn’t appear to be the case. As a result, George, just nine and barely out of short trousers, may well find himself inheriting a damaged and diminished monarchy,” she added.

The Royals still haven’t commented on Harry’s book and it looks like they are not even planning on doing so.

When William and Kate left the Open Door Charity in Merseyside, a reporter asked the Prince if he had read Harry’s book yet. Later, while arriving at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, a reporter shouted “Do you ever plan to comment on Harry’s book, sir?” but neither got a response.

As of Spare, according to the publisher, Penguin Random House, around 1.4 million copies, in a form of hard-copies, e-books, and audio formats were sold on the first day of the release in the UK, United States, and Canada. What’s most, it already topped the list of top-selling publication on the UK Amazon site and is expected to be the greatest seller of 2023.

“We always knew this book would fly, but it is exceeding even our most bullish expectations,” Larry Finlay, managing director of Transworld Penguin Random House, said.

“As far as we know, the only books to have sold more in their first day are those starring the other Harry (Potter).”

Lisa Marie Presley’s ex-husband Nicolas Cage reacts to the news of her passing

Lisa Marie Presley’s tragic passing was announced hours after the 54-year-old singer-songwriter and only daughter of ‘The King of Rock and Roll’ went into cardiac arrest in her LA home.

Her death comes three years after her son Benjamin Keough died of suicide, aged 27.

As tributes continue to flow in for Presley, who gave her final interview two days before her tragic death when she attended the Golden Globes event where she offered her support to actor Austin Butler who played her father in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic, her ex-husband Nicolas Cage broke his silence and opened up about her passing.

“This is devastating news. Lisa had the greatest laugh of anyone I ever met. She lit up every room, and I am heartbroken. I find some solace believing she is reunited with her son Benjamin,” Cage wrote.

Shutterstock

The two started dating in 2001 but split in early 2002 just to reunite again and tie the knot in August that same year. The marriage between Cage and Presley lasted for three months only. They called it quits in November 2002 and Cage refused to make any comments regarding the split.

“I did not talk about the marriage and I am not going to talk about the divorce. But I loved her,” he reportedly said, as per ET.

Presley on the other hand was more forthcoming. “We’re both so dramatic and dynamic that when it was good it was unbelievably good, and when it was bad it was just a f**king bloody nightmare for everybody,” she said back in the day.

Presley was married four times, to Danny Keough, Michael Jackson, and Michael Lockwood.

Lockwood, with whom she shared her twin girls, also issued a statement following Presley’s death saying he is focusing on the girls and helping them cope with their mother’s tragic passing.

“Michael had been hoping for a speedy and complete recovery because her children needed her. It is very sad it didn’t turn out that way,” his attorney, Joe Yanny, stated. “Michael’s world has been turned on its ear. He is with both of his daughters now.”

Woman followed by strangers walks up to a random guy and whispers “help” in his ear

These days this world seems to be an unsafe place so it’s no wonder people feel a bit scared when they need to get somewhere all by themselves during late hours of the night. To be honest, this is especially true for women who are considered easy target by thieves and rapists.

Source: Flickr

In case we ever face a situation where we are followed by strangers, we shouldn’t panic, but do our best to remain cool-headed and think of clever ways of getting ourselves out of trouble.

One quick-thinking woman was all by herself when she noticed three strange men were behind her, following her every step. She then saw a random person, got near him, hugged him as though she knew him, and whispered into his ear why she did that. The man named Dane Weeks walked the scared woman home.

Source: Instagram

He then tweeted of what happened and said he doesn’t usually take that route, but this time, he was distracted by his phone and took a different way. That unconscious decision led to saving a woman in need.

Weeks wrote, “What’s crazy, I rarely walk down this block. I normally take one way to the train but the way I took is when I walk my dog. I guess my distraction of me watching the debate led me down that path I rarely take to the train. So I guess I was meant to there at that particular moment.”

What’s most, the two became friends and shared phone numbers. Weeks offered to walk her home whenever she needs that. “We exchanged numbers, I told her my boyfriend and I would meet her at the train anytime if we’re home. The route she have to take home she has to walk under the train tracks, no other way, plus it’s dark. She said she would call again, I hope she do. I will call tomorrow to check in,” he added.

Weeks and the woman spoke after the encounter. She said she was very sorry for the inconvenience, but he assured her it was no big deal. Instead, he was very glad he found himself in the right place, at the right time.

Source: Instagram

The woman explained how the three strangers stared at her while she was on the train and got off it when she did. She entered a store hoping they would leave but they were waiting for her outside the store. The woman knew they were after her and hugging Weeks seemed like her way out of that scary situation.

“She saw me, and noticed I had a smile on my face looking at my phone and that’s when she knew I would welcome her. She apologized, she felt how shock I was at her untiming hug. I told her I thought it was a set up at first, she laughed because she said that’s New York mentality,” Weeks wrote.

Weeks even met her 5-year-old son and was glad she choose him to help her that night.

Knowing there are people like Weeks in this world, we feel more secure and our faith in humanity is restored.

Todd And Julie Chrisley Reveal When They Are to Report To Federal Prisons

Todd and Julie Chrisley of Chrisley Knows Best, a reality TV show revolving around the lives of Georgia real estate tycoon Todd Chrisley and his wealthy family, were sentenced on Monday months after they were found guilty in a tax evasion case.

A federal judge sentenced Todd Chrisley to 12 years in prison plus 36 months supervised release while his wife, Julie, was sentenced to 7 years in prison, plus 36 months supervised release.

“The seriousness of the Chrisleys’ crimes cannot be understated. After they defrauded community banks out of tens of millions of dollars, they hid millions of dollars from the IRS, all while going on television to boast about how much they spend on designer clothes,” prosecutors wrote in the sentencing memorandum obtained by Channel 2 Action News. “And when they learned that they were under investigation for those crimes, they involved their own family members and friends to obstruct justice.”

The prosecutor was reported to have said, “The Chrisleys have built an empire based on the lie that their wealth came from dedication and hard work.

“The jury’s unanimous verdict sets the record straight: Todd and Julie Chrisley are career swindlers who have made a living by jumping from one fraud scheme to another, lying to banks, stiffing vendors, and evading taxes at every corner.”

The couple requested the courts to approve a motion for bail pending appeal, which would grant them bail while they await the appeal process to finish. On top of it, they requested the surrender date to be extended three weeks. However, both their requests have been denied and they are expected to report to prison on 17th of January.

Todd will serve his sentence at the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Escambia County, Florida, while Julie is expected to spend the next 7 years of her life at Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp Marianna.

According to reports they both will be placed together with other non-violent criminals.

“They’re almost like a college dormitory situation. There’s usually no fences or barbed wire, or things like that. There’s obviously monitors and cameras and so on, but it is a fairly relaxed atmosphere,” veteran defense attorney, Paul Cambria, said. “The camps are basically for white collar, non-violent — a lot of dollars-and-cents kind of crimes, things where violence is not involved.”

Currently, Todd and Julie’s daughter Savannah Chrisley has taken custody of her younger brother and sister.

Woman’s foot has been swollen for years, then she finally pays the doctor a visit to learn why

Very often, we procrastinate and put important things, like regular doctor checkups, off and we only realize the consequences of our actions when it is too late.

A young woman named Cheryl Murray noticed a tiny lump on her foot. However, she didn’t think it was anything serious although it grew to the size of a golf ball over the course of ten years.

Up until that point, she hid the lump from her family, but she eventually showed it to her boyfriend who urged her to visit a doctor. She was hesitant, but he told her she needed to do that.

Once at the hospital, doctors ran a bunch of tests and the results were worrying. The lump turned out to be cancer affecting the connective tissue. The X-rays, a biopsy, and an MRI all indicated Cheryl had sarcoma.

Since Cheryl waited too long before seeking help, it was too late for anything to be done and her leg needed to be amputated to her knee in an attempt to prevent the cancer from spreading further.

“I never ever believed it would be anything severe,” she stated. “I was hysterical, I was so shocked I could not speak. I seemed like I had actually been typed the face two times in one day.”

She’s now sharing her story in an attempt to raise awareness of the importance of visiting a doctor when something doesn’t seem right, even if that’s something we believe is not harmful.

Twin baby boy’s final days captured on camera in emotional photoshoot

Lyndsay and Matthew Brentlinger were over the moon when they learned they will become parents. Later on, when doctors told them she was carrying twins, their joy doubled and they couldn’t wait for the day when they would hold their bundles of joy in their arms.

Source: Matthew Brentlinger/Facebook

Sadly, the ultrasound showed that one of the babies had a heart abnormality and these parents-to-be were told that the little one wouldn’t survive in the womb. This left them heartbroken, but they had to move on and be strong for the other baby.

The thought that they would never meet their baby haunted them. On top of that, they feared for the other twin as well, although doctors assured them it was developing perfectly normal.

The sick baby was a boy, and the healthy one was a girl. Lyndsay and Matthew were aware of the reality, but they still prayed every single day for the baby to pull through.

When the time came for the twins to be welcomed into the world, Lindsay was rushed to the hospital. Moments later, she gave birth to William and Reagan.

It was a miracle baby William was born. He looked healthy, but the reality was different. Doctors’ prognosis were that he would live a few weeks the most, although he could be gone in days or even hours.

His parents were lucky he even made it to the world, so that they could at least meet him and hold him. They were determined to cherish every second spent with him.

The parents came up with the idea to organize a photoshoot, so that they could have precious memories of William. A friend of theirs, Mandy Edwards, was more than happy to help even though it was at a short notice. She called a friend, photographer Lindsay Brown, who canceled all her project to step in and take cute photos of the twins.

The babies looked like little angels. While Reagan slept through the photoshoot, sweet William was awake and looked very curious of the world around him. He wouldn’t stop moving his tiny eyes around.

At the end of this precious experience, they all cried because they were aware this could be the last thing they were all doing for William.

The twins looked happy and comfortable in their parents arms, and even got to spend their first and sadly last Christmas together. Just three days after the holiday, William passed away.

He lived for 11 days, and those days were the happiest in his parents’ lives.

As for little Reagan, she will always have the photos to remind her of her twin brother and will always have someone watching over her from Heaven.

Mick Jagger is devastated by this loss

Jeff Beck, the man who redefined guitar music in the 1960’s, passed away Thursday at the age of 78.

The news of his sudden loss was shared on Twitter by members of his closest family.

“On behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Jeff Beck’s passing,” the statement said.

“After suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, he peacefully passed away yesterday. His family ask for privacy while they process this tremendous loss.”

Regarded among the greatest of all time, Beck constantly pushed boundaries and was a central figure in the key development of rock music.

Throughout the course of his career, which spanned five decades, Beck experimented with new sounds and approaches, which brought freshness in the world of music.

Beck joined the Yardbirds in 1965, replacing Eric Clapton. He stayed with the band for around two years, but it was during that period that he invented use of feedback, something that influenced other great names in the industry.

Speaking of that technique, Beck told BBC Radio 2’s Johnnie Walker, “That [technique] came as an accident.

“We played larger venues, around about ’64-’65, and the PA was inadequate. So we cranked up the level and then found out that feedback would happen.

“I started using it because it was controllable – you could play tunes with it. I did this once at Staines Town Hall with the Yardbirds and afterwards, this guy says, ‘You know that funny noise that wasn’t supposed to be there? I’d keep that in if I were you.’

“So I said, ‘It was deliberate mate. Go away.'”

Once he departed with the Yardbirds, Beck went on to release the single Hi Ho Silver Lining before forming the first incarnation of the Jeff Beck Group in early 1967. The group featured Ronnie Wood on bass, and Rod Steward.

Beck was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 as part of the Yardbirds and then again in 2009 as a solo artist.

This incredible musician’s passing brought devastation at his many fans and friends. Among them musician Mick Jagger who paid his tribute to Beck. They were close friends, and Jagger recalled asking Beck for help with the lead guitar parts on his first solo album, She’s the Boss, back in 1985.

“We have lost a wonderful man and one of the world’s best guitar players,” Jagger wrote on the social media.

Jimmy Page, who replaced Beck in Yardbirds, also paid a heartfelt tribute. “Jeff’s channeling abilities enabled him to access music from other levels. His approach is unique… When I say I’ll miss you greatly, I’m sure I speak for all your countless other fans,” Page wrote.

The influence Beck had on music and the mark he left can never be replicated. May he rest in peace.

Sad news about the beloved singer Cyndi Lauper

Bold, unique, and a true personification of the of 1980s pop music, singer Cyndi Lauper enchanted millions with her songs and free-spirited sense of fashion.

She was able to create a hybrid of pop and rock and showed the world that “women” can “have fun.”

Her eccentricity marked her both as a performer and a person and her creativity was unmatched. Yet, Lauper struggled with health issues that affected her career, and sadly, she’s still struggling with the autoimmune disease she was diagnosed with in 2010.

Some of Lauper’s biggest hits, which are quite popular even today, are Time After Time, True Colors, and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, among the rest.

Back in 1985, Lauper was presented with a Grammy award for Best New Artist.

As her career progressed and she became a renowned artist loved by millions, Lauper received numerous awards including Tony Awards, Emmy Awards, and an MTV VMA award.

When she was diagnosed with psoriasis, a skin disease that causes a rash with itchy, scaly patches, most commonly on the knees, elbows, trunk and scalp.

As per the Mayo Clinic, it “is a common, long-term (chronic) disease with no cure. It can be painful, interfere with sleep and make it hard to concentrate.” Sadly, Lauper is still experiencing all the symptoms.

She was even forced to stop singing for a period of time because of the pain she experienced. In an interview with People, she said in 2015 that she “felt like the elephant man” because her health had declined despite trying all the possible treatments she has stumbled upon.

Her condition has affected her social life as well, although she always attempts to “bring a lot of light” to herself.

What helps, according to her, is that she’s a family person.

Together with The National Psoriasis Foundation and Novartis, Lauper launched the website MoretoPsoriasis.com which aims to raise awareness of skin issues.

“I’m not talking about it because I feel sorry for myself,” Lauper explained. “I’m talking about it because no one talks about it … and a lot of times you feel alone. I know I felt alone.”

We truly hope that this incredible artists, together with the millions of people who suffer from psoriasis, would be able to keep her condition under control.

Harry recalls William attacking him after argument about Meghan Markle

When they left their lives as working royals behind, Harry and Meghan claimed that one of the reasons for their departure from the Firm was their desire to raise their children away from the public eye. Yet, they haven’t stopped being under the spotlight thanks to the interviews they are providing to the media, Meghan’s podcast, the number of contracts they signed with Spotify and Netflix, and most recently, the publishing of Harry’s memoir, Spare.

As expected, the long-awaited book revealed what most people hoped to take a glance at, the controversies that had been kept under wraps by the members of the British royalty.

Random House, the publishing house behind Harry’s book, for which the Prince was paid $20 million according to the media, dubbed the book as an “honest and captivating personal portrait.”

In their initial press release, they said, “Prince Harry will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.”

One NY publishing source told Page Six, “It’s juicy, that’s for sure,” while another publishing insider added, “There’s a lot of new stories in there about the past that Harry has not spoken about before, about his childhood … there is some content in there that should make his family nervous.”

And so it happened. Harry did share many secrets and things he had never discussed before.

One of the most explosive claims revealed in Spare, whose title allegedly comes from Harry’s “spare” role as the second son of the King or the fact that he has been “spared” from his family, is the heated argument between the brothers over Meghan Markle.

According to Harry, his brother reportedly labeled Meghan “difficult,” “rude,” and “abrasive.”

Netflix

Harry explained how William went to Nottingham Cottage, then Harry and Meghan’s home on Kensington Palace grounds in London, in order to discuss “‘the whole rolling catastrophe’ of their relationship and struggles with the press.”

However, the conversation turned into a heated argument.

In order to calm things down, Harry handed over a glass of water to his brother.

“He set down the water, called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

Allegedly, William then urged Harry to strike back but Harry refused to do so.

“What was different here was the level of frustration, and I talk about the red mist that I had for so many years, and I saw this red mist in him,” Harry wrote.

“He wanted me to hit him back, but I chose not to.”

We are yet to see whether William would comment on the matter.

Harry accuses Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell of ‘milking’ her death for money

The much-awaited memoir Spare in which Prince Harry opens up about his life is finally here and it is breaking records.

According to the publisher, Penguin Random House, around 400,000 copies, in a form of hard-copies, e-books, and audio formats were sold on the first day of the release.

Youtube/Goodmorrningamerica

Before it was released, there were many speculations regarding the things the Prince would reveal, and it doesn’t come as a surprise that the wide public is in anticipation of learning secrets and details about the most famous family there is.

In the book, Harry offers a brand new side of the feelings about the life he left behind, that of a royal. He also wrote of the new life with his wife and children, and as expected, he wrote extensively about the person that means the world to him, his late mother, Princess Diana. Her death shook Harry’s world and it seems like he can never get over the pain and the fact that it was partially the media that forced his mother into her death.

Youtube/TheTelegraph

In the past, Harry spoke of his mother very often. In the HBO documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, he recalled the last phone call he ever had with his mother, on the same day she tragically passed away.

“I can’t really necessarily remember what I said, but all I do remember is probably regretting for the rest of my life, how short that call was,” Harry said.

“If I’d known that that was the last time I was going to speak to my mother the things that I would – the things I would have said to her.

“There’s not a day that William and I don’t wish that she was still around, and we wonder what kind of a mother she would be now, and what kind of a public role she would have, and what a difference she would be making.”

Tim Graham Photo Library via Getty Images

Now, in his memoir, Harry opened up about his mother’s butler, Paul Burrell, who later became her best friend.

Following her tragic death, Burrell often spoke of his relationship with the late Princess and even offered some of her letters to the public, something Harry found inappropriate. The Duke of Sussex even accused Burrell of “milking” money out of his mother’s death.

In 2003, Burrell published a book, A Royal Duty, which included private revelations. As expected, this left the brothers furious. Back then, they shared a statement in which they accused their mother’s butler of “a cold and overt betrayal.”

He, on the other hand, believed they should meet with him in order to learn more of their mother’s life and the side of her they didn’t witness.

“I’d love to give them a piece of my mind,” Burrell said.

Diana and Paul Burrell. Photo: Antony Jones/UK Press via Getty Images

“He wanted to give us a piece of his mind?” Harry said.

“I didn’t know why, I presume the Palace quashed it. I told myself: Shame, I thought of that man as the one errant steer that got away that summer.”

Further, Harry said of Burrell, “Mummy’s former butler had penned a tell-all which actually told nothing. It was merely one man’s self-justifying, self-centering version of events. My mother once called this butler a dear friend and trusted him implicitly. We did too. Now this,” and added, “He was milking her disappearance for money. It made my blood boil.”

Youtube/Sunrise

Now that he felt attacked by the things Harry wrote in the memoir, Burrell answered back. In a video, the former butler said that Harry has “changed fundamentally” and that his mother would be “appalled.”

“I first met him in his mummy’s tummy. I don’t recognize the young man I see today. That’s not the boy I knew,” Burrell said.

“What I see now is an angry, petulant, privileged prince who is constantly blaming other people and not taking accountability on his part.

“[Diana] would be angry at these personal, vindictive revelations which don’t just undermine Harry, but his country, his family, the institution – which his mother was very proud of – and his late grandmother’s legacy.”

Shutterstock

Not long ago, Burrell spoke of Harry and Meghan’s marriage and said the two get along well because Meghan is very similar to Princess Diana. “Harry went for and married Meghan because she’s like Diana. [They are] both women who would always stand up for what they believe in and wouldn’t be pushovers,” he said.

However, according to him, it doesn’t mean that Meghan and Diana would be best of friends in any way.

“I imagine it would have been two strong, independent women with different views on things—it would have been a battle between Meghan’s way and Diana’s way.

“I think the main difference between them is that Meghan has a game plan, whereas Diana was young and naïve,” Burrell added.

In Spare, Harry also wrote of the moment his father shared with him that Princess Diana had been involved in a car crash.

Shutterstock

He recalled his dad approaching him and saying, “Darling boy, Mummy’s been in a car crash.

“There were complications. Mummy was quite badly injured and taken to hospital, darling boy,” Harry revealed. “He always called me ‘darling boy,’ but he was saying it quite a lot now. His voice was soft. He was in shock, it seemed.

“With a head injury. They tried, darling boy. I’m afraid she didn’t make it.”

He then wrote how now King Charles put his hand on his knee but he didn’t hug him.

It has been reported that Harry netted $20 million for his book deal.

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla Presley said in a statement Thursday evening. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”

The news of Lisa Marie’s hospitalization was initially shared by TMZ. They wrote that the only child of Priscilla Presley and the late “King of Rock and Roll” was transferred to the ICU unit in a critical condition Thursday morning. Allegedly, she was put in an induced coma and on life support with a temporary pacemaker.

A spokesperson of the LA county sheriff said that emergency responders were dispatched to Lisa Marie’s Calabasas home at around 10:40 a.m. local time. They were able to regain her pulse before rushing her to the hospital.

According to TMZ, Lisa Marie’s ex-husband, Danny Keough, went inside her home after dropping the kids off at school at the moment the housekeeper made the discovery. He performed CPR while waiting for the ambulance to arrive and reports are that the late singer was administered epinephrine at the scene at least one time.

On Tuesday, just two days before her passing, Lisa Marie and her mother attended the Golden Globes to support Baz Luhrmann’s acclaimed biopic Elvis.

Speaking of Austin Butler’s performance, Lisa Marie described it as “mind-blowing.”

New information revealed in the Idaho murders: What their roommate really saw that night

On November 13, 2022, the news of the killing of four young people rocked the small town of Moscow, Idaho.

Ethan Chapin, 20; Madison Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, all students, were stubbed to death.

Mogen, Kernodle and Goncalves were roommates who shared a six-bedroom home outside of campus together with two other girls. Chapin, who dated Kernodle, was staying the night.

Earlier that day, Goncalves posted a series of photos showing her and the rest of her friends who got murdered later in the night with the caption, “One lucky girl to be surrounded by these pple everyday.”

Instagram

Evidence showed that the victims fought back. According to Fox News, Xana Kernodle’s father, Jeff Kernodle, said that the bruises found on his daughter’s body indicate that she put up a fight with her killer. “She’s a tough kid. Whatever she wanted to do, she could do it,” he said of his late daughter.

Jeff also explained that the door to his daughter’s home locked with a number code. “Every time you go, you have to go around the house because of the number code so they either knew that or went around and maybe found the slider door open.”

The police revealed there were no signs of forced entry. The reasons behind the cruel killing remains a mystery.

According to reports, one of the surviving roommates was on the second floor and noticed the suspected killer. She shared with the police that she opened her door “after she heard the crying and saw a figure clad in black clothing and a mask that covered the person’s mouth and nose walking towards her.”

Nearly seven weeks after the four students lost their lives, police finally arrested a suspect, more than 2,500 miles away in eastern Pennsylvania.

On December 30, 2022, 28-year-old Bryan Christopher Kohberger was arrested and charged with four counts of first-degree murder and felony burglary.

Kohberger has been a PhD student at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. He was pursuing criminology, and according to one of his friends, he had been researching the mindsets of criminals and was studying under a Pennsylvania professional on criminals and serial killers.

What’s most, two weeks prior to committing the gruesome murders, Kohberger was engaged in a class discussion about “forensics, D.N.A, and other evidence prosecutors use to win convictions.”

The suspect’s parents and sister “promote Bryan’s presumption of innocence rather than judge unknown facts and make erroneous assumptions” while cooperating with the authorities.

Further,  they want to “let the legal process unfold and as a family, we will love and support our son and brother.”

Instagram

The suspect’s family also offered their condolences to the victims’ families.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families.
