This Kid Wanted A Car. His Dad’s Response GENIUS

A teenage boy had just passed his driving test and inquired of his father as to when they could discuss his use of the car.

The dad said he’d make a deal with his son:

“You bring your grades up from a C to a B average, study your Bible a little, and get your hair cut. Then we’ll talk about the car.”
The boy thought about that for a moment, decided he’d settle for the offer, and they agreed on it.

After six weeks his father said, “Son, you’ve brought your grades up and I’ve observed that you have been studying your Bible, but I’m disappointed you haven’t had your hair cut.”

The boy said,”You know, Dad, I’ve been thinking about that, and I’ve noticed in my studies of the Bible that Samson had long hair, John the Baptist had long hair, Moses had long hair, and there’s even strong evidence that Jesus had long hair.”

To this his father replied, “Did you also notice that they walked everywhere they went?”

Forrest Gump was asked three questions before entering heaven. His answers were brilliant

The following joke involves one of our favorite persons, Forrest Gump. We adore Gump’s character because of his loyalty, integrity, perseverance, honesty and most of all for his unique sense of humor.

Below is the joke:

Sandra K.
Forrest Gump dies and goes to Heaven.

He is at the Pearly Gates, met by St. Peter himself.

However, the gates are closed and Forrest approaches the Gatekeeper.

St. Peter says, “Well, Forrest, it’s certainly good to see you. We have heard a lot about you. I must tell you, though, that the place is filling up fast, and we’ve been administering an entrance examination for everyone.

The test is short, but you have to pass it before you can get into Heaven.”

Forrest responds, “It shor is good to be here, St. Peter, sir. But nobody ever tolt me about any entrance exam. Shor hope the test ain’t too hard; life was a big enough test as it was.”

St. Peter goes on, “Yes, I know, Forrest, but the test is only three questions:

First: What two days of the week begin with the letter T?

Second: How many seconds are there in a year?

Third: What is God’s first name?”

Forrest leaves to think the questions over.

He returns the next day and sees St. Peter who waves him up and says, “Now that you have had a chance to think the questions over, tell me your answers.”

Forrest says, “Well, the first one — which two days in the week begin with the letter “T”? Shucks, that one’s easy. That’d be Today and Tomorrow.”

The Saint’s eyes open wide and he exclaims, “Forrest, that’s not what I was thinking, but you do have a point, and I guess I didn’t specify, so I’ll give you credit for that answer.

How about the next one?” asks St. Peter.

“How many seconds in a year?”

“Now that one’s harder,” says Forrest, “but I thunk and thunk about that and I guess the only answer can be twelve.”

Confounded, St. Peter says, “Twelve? Twelve!?

Forrest, how in Heaven’s name could you come up with twelve seconds in a year?”

Forrest says “Shucks, there’s gotta be twelve: January 2nd, February 2nd, March 2nd. . .”

“Hold it, ” interrupts St. Peter. “I see where you’re going with this, and I see your point, though that wasn’t quite what I had in mind…..but I’ll have to give you credit for that one, too.
Let’s go on with the third and final question. Can you tell me God’s first name”?

“Sure” Forrest replied, “it’s Andy.”

Andy?!” exclaimed an exasperated and frustrated St. Peter. “Ok, I can understand how you came up with your answers to my first two questions, but just how in the world did you come up with the name Andy as the first name of God?”

“Shucks, that was the easiest one of all,” Forrest replied.

“I learnt it from the song. . . . “ANDY WALKS WITH ME, ANDY TALKS WITH ME, ANDY TELLS ME I AM HIS OWN. . . .”

St. Peter opened the Pearly Gates and said: “Run Forrest, run.”

Forest Gump teaches us that being unique and different from the rest is not always a drawback. He has never seen himself disadvantaged in comparison to others and has shown unbelievable optimism. His distinctive way of perceiving things makes him unique and that’s why he is one of our best-loved characters.

Excited Grandpa Finds Out Surprise About New Grandbaby

Landry James is a lucky person because he has been surrounded by women his whole life. Actually, he is the only male in his family. He’s got two sisters, four daughters, and two granddaughters. Being around that many women has certainly made Landry more compassionate man, and he is happy to have them in his life. However, he sometimes feels alone, but that’s about to change.

YouTube

When one of his daughters, Carie Elbe, found out she was expecting a boy, she decided to keep it a secret until the day of his birth. She wanted to give her dad the surprise of a lifetime!

When the day of Carie’s delivery rolled around, the entire family was ready to share the good news. They were anxious to learn the baby’s gender and celebrate the blessing of a healthy baby.

YouTube

Grandpa Landry’s reaction when he learns that the baby is a boy is something that they’ll remember forever… Carie decided the best course of action would be to keep the surprise a secret for the entire pregnancy – even to the point of telling him they were expecting another girl when he kept persisting on knowing the gender.

To top everything off, this new precious surprise bundle arrived on Grandpa Landry’s birthday and even shares his grandfather’s name. Even his little granddaughters were in on the surprise and never let the secret slip.

YouTube

The moment Grandpa Landry realized that there was going to be another boy in the family his breath was taken away! He couldn’t believe that, after all of these years, there would be a male to share in family traditions and to take after his personality!

Proud Little Boy Shows Off His New Crutches To Family Dog – It’s The Sweetest Thing You’ll See Today

For this two-year-old, Roman Dinkel, he has more struggles in his daily life than most. Diagnosed with Spina Bifida before birth, he always enjoys the small victories with a huge smile.

Upon hearing the news of a birth defect, some parents would terminate their pregnancies. This became out of the question for Whitney and Adam. They believe every life is a gift and they wanted to give their child a chance at life. They document Roman’s life on a Facebook page dedicated to him, called Defying Odds:Roman’s Journey.

On the page, they share Roman as he grows up. His followers love him and his cute cheeky face.

Spina Bifida is a condition where a baby’s spinal cord doesn’t develop properly in the womb which causes a gap in the spine. With this, Roman learns to walk around with forearm crutches. Roman loves walking around with his new “sticks.”

Roman learned how to use the “sticks” pretty quickly. He ended up walking around outside in no time!

Roman’s dad posted on the Facebook a video of Roman shouting to the family dog while walking with his “sticks.” It is super adorable!

“I promise I’m going to stop talking about this soon, but this kid keeps blowing my mind. I decided to take him outside to test out his sticks in the grass. Not only did he walk all over the yard but then he walked across the street and down the road and turned around and came all the way back. Without any help from me!” his dad said.

Ice Skaters Perform Stunning Dirty Dancing Inspired Routine

Some people are so good at what they do that they take our breath away and leave us speechless. We’ve seen people mimic the classic Dirty Dancing routine to “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” during different occasions such as wedding receptions, birthday parties, at home and in random public places – but we’ve never seen anything like this rendition of the dance with ice skating superstars Stefania Berton and Ondrej Hotarek. The way the pair moves together and honors the classic dance routine (while adding a little modern skating flare) is just too much fun!

YouTube

Even though it feels like it was released yesterday, Dirty Dancing is more than 30 years old. When “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” made its debut, people around the world immediately fell in love. The song quickly rose to the top of the charts in 1987 and remained there for one week. It won an Academy Award for Best Original Song, Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, as well as ASCAPs for both “Most Performed Songs from Motion Pictures” and “Songwriter Of The Year.” The song’s upbeat lyrics and iconic dance are just two of the many reasons why its seen such success over the years.

YouTube

Sadly, Stefania and Ondrej’s ice skating partnership dissolved a few years ago, but we always have their impressive routines of the past to look back on. Of course, we can still hold out hope that they’ll return to each other in the future! With ice skating chemistry like this, you can’t just walk away! Take a peek at their impressive Kings on Ice performance in the video below. The way they skate together is simply breathtaking – and the way they mimic the film’s original routine makes us smile!

Grandparents Don’t Die, They Become Invisible… EVERYONE Should Read This, SO Heartwarming!

They are inseparable part of every child’s life, and a childhood spent without them will be always missing that special kind of love we only get from them because grandparents never die, they become invisible and they sleep forever deep in our heart. And even today, we miss them and we would give anything to hear their stories, to feel their caresses and look at those eyes full of infinite tenderness.

While grandparents have the joy to see us being born and growing, as a fact of life, we must witness how they age and say goodbye to this world. The death of a grandparent is usually the first farewell that we will have to face in our childhood.

Grandparents, who assume the active role of raising their grandchildren, leave traces in their spirits, legacies that will accompany them for life as seeds of everlasting love during the days when they become invisible.

Nowadays it is very common to see grandparents participating in raising their grandchildren. They represent an invaluable support network in today’s families. Children however sense very well that the role of grandparents is different from that of their parents.

It is common that grandparents and grandchildren develop a very special, a deep and intimate bond, so the loss of the grandparents can be very shocking and delicate in the personality of a child or adolescent. We wish to reflect on this subject with you.

Saying good bye to Grandparents: the first experience dealing with loss

For some of us who have reached adulthood having our grandparents by our side,we have been truly privileged, however others, had to face their death when they were still in the early childhood, when children still don’t understand a loss like this in all the magnitude. Commonly adults are not able to fully explain what happened and try to soften the death as if it “does not hurt”.

Adults should explain things clearly to their children and they should tell them the truth, this is the advice of Psych pedagogues. Of course it’s necessary to know how to adapt the news according their age. One must, however, avoid making the mistake of many parents in preventing a last farewell of the child with his grandfather in the hospital, or beat around the bush with metaphors such as that “the grandfather is in a star or he is sleeping in the sky”.

– We must help the child understand death simply and without metaphors so that misconceptions are not formed. If we tell it that the grandfather has left, it is likely that the child’s question is, when he will return.

– If we are trying to explain to the child the death from a religious perspective it is necessary to emphasize in the fact that the deceased is not going to “come back”. The explanations must be very brief, simple and to the point, remember that a young mind can only absorb limited amounts of information.

– It is also important that adults don’t hide their feelings and tears before the eyes of children. We must teach them that death is not taboo. It is necessary to vent ourselves for the loss of a loved one, we should suffer and we speak of it freely. Children will do it at the right time and when they get a better understanding of such unfortunate events, meanwhile we must be their facilitators.

– We have to be attentive to the fact that children will ask us many questions and these requests require of intelligent and precise answers. The loss of grandparents in childhood or adolescence will always be a very complex matter, and the best thing to do at this moment is to grieve with the whole family and be very careful to any question or needs of your children.

Even if they are not, they are very present

– Even if they are not, grandparents are always in our lives, in those common locations we share with our family and even in the oral heritage we offer to the new generations. To new grandchildren or great-grandchildren who were not able to meet grandfather or grandmother.

– Grandparents held our hands during the times while they taught us how to walk, but then, what they held forever were our hearts, where they will reside eternally giving us their light and their memory.

– The grandfather’s presence is in those yellowed photos that are in a frame and not in the mobile memory. The grandfather is present in the tree that he once sowed with his own hands or in the dress that we still keep and that grandmother sewed it.

– They are still present in the smells of cakes that remain in our emotional memory. Their memory is also in each of the wise advice we received from them, in the stories they shared with us, in the way we make the knots of our shoes and even in that dimple in the chin that we inherited from them.

– Grandparents are present in our feelings in a deep and delicate mode. They never die, they are more than simple genetics. They show us how to walk at their own pace, a little slower, how to enjoy an afternoon in the country, to learn that a good book has a different and special smell, because they have a language that goes beyond words.

– It is a hug language, a gentle caress, a complicit smile and an afternoon walk sharing in silence as we watch the sunset. All of this will last forever and here is where real eternity of people takes place.

– In the affectionate heritage of those who really love us and who honor us by remembering us every day.

Everyone Thought His Wife Was Not Eating, But Then She Spoke Up!

An elderly couple walk into a fast food restaurant. They order one hamburger, one order of fries and one drink.

The old man unwraps the plain hamburger and carefully cuts it in half. He places one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counts out the fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placing one pile in front of his wife.

He takes a sip of the drink, his wife takes a sip and then sets the cup down between them. As he begins to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them keep looking over and whispering ‘That poor old couple – all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.’

As the man begins to eat his fries a young man comes to the table. He politely offers to buy another meal for the old couple.

The old man replies that they’re just fine – they’re just used to sharing everything.

The surrounding people noticed the little old lady hadn’t eaten a bite. She sits there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.

Again the young man comes over and begs them to let him buy another meal for them.

This time the old woman says ‘No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything.’

As the old man finishes and was wipes his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again comes over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asks ‘May I ask what is it you are waiting for?’

The old woman answers… ‘THE TEETH.’

Stranger Startles Grieving Mom As Babies Sob During Flight

Flying can sometimes be stressful, especially if you travel with very young children who have different demands and who can easily get irritated and start crying for no particular reason.

Molly Schultz is a mom who had boarded a flight weighed down with sadness. She was too upset to be nervous about the flight, but instead grew incredibly agitated as her world unraveled around her.

Flickr/ume-y

Molly was on a last-minute flight back home to say goodbye to her father. His prognosis was dire and she had been summoned to his bedside.

She said a sorrowful goodbye to her daughters ages three and two whom she left at home. But she had to take along with her her seven-month-old identical twin daughters.

The trio had already flown from Washington state to Minnesota where they endured a lengthy layover. For the next leg of the flight, the girls were inconsolable.

Their tears prompted Molly to break down and cry herself. The emotional stress of her father’s impending passing and the arduous trip with crying wee ones became simply insurmountable.

“The strict schedule we typically follow at home was completely thrown out the window this day and my twins were not handling it well. Why would they though? They were only seven months old. They were feeding off my frantic energy and everything just exploded half way through this flight.”

Molly knew her fellow passengers were completely unimpressed at her daughters’ wails. She did what she could from her plane seat to console them.

“Everyone had every right to be annoyed. None of you knew that one of my twins cried all day long, every day. She was just one of those babies who was never comfortable or happy. I was accustomed to drowning out the sound of her screams and know I did so while we were all trapped in that airplane. In all honesty, I just wanted to stand in the aisle and yell, ‘If you’re sick of hearing this crying, then please come and help me!’”

Molly knew they were hungry and wanted to nurse, but didn’t know how to feed them without a nursing pillow, especially on a crowded flight. She had packed bottles filled with her milk, but at this point, she was beyond frazzled to even think straight.

A complete stranger walked straight up to Molly and the twins. The young mom was afraid of what the woman was about to say to her and she braced herself to be judged for her parenting skills.

Instead, this guardian angel plopped down next to Molly, grabbed ahold of one of the babies and began rocking her. The stranger stared straight into the baby’s eyes while she quieted her with a bottle of milk and some much needed cuddles.

Molly wrote to Love What Matters that “you stepped in as the tears fell from all three of our faces.” This woman gave Molly a much needed reprieve.

“You knew I needed you when I was too afraid to ask … You never once made me feel inadequate. Instead you showed me the most empathy I’ve ever been shown, and it was miraculously done in my darkest hour. You swayed and sang to her like any of her family would do back home, loving her the way she needed in that moment. Loving all of us in the way we needed in that moment.”

Molly couldn’t believe this kindhearted woman just knew she couldn’t handle this journey by herself. She described herself as “mentally broken” and emotionally exhausted.

“In hindsight I really wasn’t in a place to be taking care of those girls by myself, let alone flying across the country alone with them. But I couldn’t leave my exclusively breastfed babies at home when I had no idea how long I would be away. It felt like a lose-lose situation for all of us, but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do. Sometimes you just have to board that flight with your two babies and pray the eye rolls and sighs aren’t going to destroy your already low self-esteem.”

Love What Matters

This mom of four credited the stranger with saving her sanity, and probably everyone else’s on the flight. Molly said she couldn’t walk around with a sign pinned to her that said,

“Flying alone with twins to say goodbye to my dying father while also leaving behind my other two daughters.”

But somehow, this woman just knew. Molly doesn’t know her face and can’t remember her name, but she’ll never forget the kindness and empathy she showed her during such a difficult time.

She wanted to thank the stranger for treating her with dignity and love when she desperately needed it. What a blessing she was to Molly!

School wants parents to “teach their kids manners” – Now their poster is spreading like wildfire online

It seems that parents rely on the schools too much. They expect from these institutions to provide their children with the appropriate level of knowledge and at the same time teach them manners. Now, the question we ask is: What exactly are the school’s responsibilities? Do we know where they begin and where should they end?

This is especially relevant when considering where to draw the line between what constitutes parents’ responsibilities and a school’s.

A Portuguese school decided to clarify the matter once and for all, by sticking a poster in its halls- and the message they’re sending is now spreading like wildfire.

The school’s sign was later shared on Facebook, where the message contained within it quickly began to spread around the world.

The simple but effective message highlights five key points which the school is determined should be managed by the parents, as follows:

Dear parents,

We would like to remind you that magic words such as hello, please, you’re welcome, I’m sorry, and thank you, all begin to be learned at home
It’s also at home that children learn to be honest, to be on time, diligent, show friends their sympathy, as well as show utmost respect for their elders and all teachers.
Home is where they learn to be clean, not talk with their mouths full, and how/where to properly dispose of garbage.
Home is also where they learn to be organized, to take good care of their belongings, and that it’s not ok to touch others.
Here at school, on the other hand, we teach language, math, history, geography, physics, sciences, and physical education. We only reinforce the education that children receive at home from their parents.

The online response has been immediate.

Do you think that schools in the US should be posting this in their hallways, too?

Share if you agree that parents need to take responsibility for their children’s behavior!

A Man Found Someone Selling A Talking For Only $10. But When You Hear Why So Cheap… HILARIOUS!

A guy sees a sign in front of a house: “Talking Dog for Sale.”
He rings the bell and the owner tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the backyard and sees a black mutt just sitting there.
“You talk?” he asks.
“Sure do” the dog replies.
“So, what’s your story?”
The dog looks up and says, “Well, I discovered my gift of talking pretty young and I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA about my gift, and in no time they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most valuable spies eight years running.
The jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn’t getting any younger and I wanted to settle down. So I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security work, mostly wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings there and was awarded a batch of medals.
Had a wife, a mess of puppies, and now I’m just retired.”
The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner how much he wants for the dog.
The owner says, “Ten dollars.”
The guy says, “This dog is amazing. Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?”
“Cause he’s a liar. He didn’t do any of that stuff!”

This Woman Wrote Her Own Obituary, And We All Need To Read What It Says

Dealing with a terminal illness can completely change person’s life. If they used to make plans about their future, now, although the hope is still there, thinking about death is inevitable. As soon as they receive the bad news from the doctor, these patients are forced to confront their own mortality. It’s a difficult thing to grapple with, and only the most exceptional people can do so with reason and humility like Moscow, Idaho’s Sonia Todd.

Diagnosed with a terminal form of cancer, Sonia knew her death was imminent, so she did something unusual: she wrote her own obituary. However, the humor and poise with which she did so is truly inspirational…

Sonia Todd of Moscow, Idaho, died at age 38 from a terminal form of cancer. Before she passed away, Sonia wrote her own obituary, and the humor and dignity with which she confronts her own passing is incredible.

“I don’t like the timeline format because, let’s face it, I never really accomplished anything of note. Other than giving birth to my two wonderful, lovable, witty and amazing sons (James and Jason), marrying my gracious, understanding and precious husband (Brian), and accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior – I have done very little. None of which requires obit space that I have to shell out money for.”

“I also didn’t want a bunch of my friends sitting around writing a glowing report of me, which we all know would be filled with fish tales, half-truths, impossible scenarios, and out-right honest-to-goodness-lies. I just don’t like to put people in that kind of situation.”

“The truth, or my version of it, is this: I just tried to do the best I could. Sometimes I succeeded, most of the time I failed, but I tried. For all of my crazy comments, jokes, and complaints, I really did love people. The only thing that separates me from anyone else is the type of sin each of us participated in. I didn’t always do the right thing or say the right thing and when you come to the end of your life those are the things you really regret, the small simple things that hurt other people.”

“My life was not perfect and I encountered many, many bumps in the road. I would totally scrap the years of my life from age 16 to 20 – OK, maybe 14 to 22. I think that would eradicate most of my fashion disasters and hair missteps from the 80s. But mostly, I enjoyed life. Some parts of it were harder than others, but I learned something from every bad situation and I couldn’t do any more than that.”

“Besides there are some benefits to dying youngish, for example, I still owe on my student loans and the joke’s on them [because] I’m not paying them. Plus, I am no longer afraid of serial killers, telemarketers, or the IRS. I don’t have to worry about wrinkles or the ozone layer and/or hide from the news during election season.”

“Some folks told me that writing my own obituary was morbid, but I think it is great because I get a chance to say thank you to all the people who helped me along the way. Those who loved me, assisted me, cared for me, laughed with me and taught me things so that I could have a wonderful, happy life. I was blessed beyond measure by knowing all of you. That is what made my life worthwhile.”

“If you think of me, and would like to do something in honor of my memory do this:

“Write a letter to someone and tell them how they have had a positive effect on your life.”

“If you smoke- quit”

“If you drink and drive – stop.”

“Turn off the electronics and take a kid out for ice cream and talk to them about their hopes and dreams.”

“Forgive someone who doesn’t deserve it.”

“Stop at all lemonade stands run by kids and brag about their product.”

The self-written obituary concluded: “Make someone smile today if it is in your power to do so.”

Wow…that’s both incredibly sad and comforting at the same time. Hopefully, we can all take a page out of Sonia’s book and address death with honesty and humor.

Lonely homeless man is ignored for 60 years. Cop goes to warn him and finds out his true identity

Homelessness is an issue that concerns not only the developing countries, but also the leading countries like the USA. The reasons people become homeless are different, some of which include domestic violence, unemployment, and poverty. But, no matter the reason, these people share same destiny, which isn’t always bright.

Nick Myers was a homeless person living on the streets of California alone with nothing. He used to stand alone on the highway asking for some cash. Mick was never married and he never had children. His adopted mother was the only person who showed him love. He felt ignored by the world around him but he has one thing that makes him forget about this which his passion for music, he used to play outside the train station for whatever money he can take.

Deputy Jacob Swalwell of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Department knew about Mick. He gave them several warnings when he saw him begging for money, since it’s illegal. But one day, he decided to go further and handle matters a little bit different. Jacob realized that giving the homeless guy a citation wouldn’t help make his situation better, so he decided to get closer to him and know more about his circumstances.

So, Mick is 67-year-old and he has no social security, no identification cards and he doesn’t know anyone who can help him. Jacob was sad to know that Mick is a lonely old person with no one to turn to. That’s when he became determined to help Mick gets his life on track. After that moment, everything started to change for Mick and all thanks to Jacob, who took notice of him and gave him help. Mick got his necessary ID and Jacob was able to get him on Medicaid and receive social security benefits. However, there something more important than all of this, reuniting Mick with his birth family because he doesn’t deserve to live the rest of his life alone. A private investigator was on his case. And 250 miles away, after six decades, Mick’s true identity began to emerge.

Divorced Dad And Ex Wife Plan Wonderful Surprise For Their Kids

It’s amazing how some couples, or ex couples, can overcome their issues for the sake of their kids. No matter if they get divorced, putting kids’ interest and needs before their own is what makes them excellent parents who do parenting the right way.

Divorced mother Laura Dee was ready to put the stress of daily life behind her and jet off on vacation to Cyprus with her two kids, Darcie, 11, and Callum, 9. Their bags were packed, the tickets bought, and the trio headed off to the airport with dreams of sandy shores in their heads. Unbenknownst to Darcie and Callum, a fourth guest was accompanying them on their trip – and it was someone who would bring them both to tears immediately. Thankfully, Laura decided to record her big reveal and share it online for the world to see.

YouTube

Laura, Darcie, and Callum waded through the crowded airport walkways in search of their gate. Then, out of the many faces, a familiar one appeared! It was her children’s father, her ex-husband. Even though they separated eight years ago, they worked together to make a fun family vacation possible. Laura told Newsflare, “As parents seeing our children upset is hard, all we want is to make our children happy. Co-parenting is hard for many people, but we are proud of what we have achieved with bringing our children up.”

YouTube

Instead of bickering, putting the kids in the middle, or whatever mental and emotional games divorcees play with their former spouses, Laura and her ex-husband did what was best for the children. Now they’ll be able to make their kids feel whole and create life-long memories with them at the same time. Watch Callum and Darcie’s heartwarming reaction to their father’s surprise appearance in the video below. This clip is the perfect example of how beautiful co-parenting can be – and how much of a positive effect it can have on the children!

Sister Sings Elvis Classic But When The Brother Joins In It Suddenly Transforms Into Chilling Mash-up

When Capri, a talented young girl, started singing Elvis Presley’s song, it was an amazing start to even more amazing mashup. Her brother Kenny joined and sang along with her. Kenny created the blend of the songs using his music and sound equipment. The duo put a lot of creativity in their performance and stunned everyone who listened to the impressive and catchy mashup.

Capri used to have a soft-sweet voice whereas piano skills of Kenny are also incredible. The made a perfect conversion from one song to the other. Kenny joined with Capri by singing “But I can’t help falling in love with you”, as Capri sang “Wise men say only fools rush in”. Thus by hearing their song, it is clear that music truly can’t be bounded in any limits.

It’s surely very risky to recreate the Elvis classic but their effort in the attempt is just speechless. As you hear them singing it is hard to distinguish where the two change from one song to the other. The song got even better when you just think that it can’t get much beautiful. The brother-sister duet is just simply talented and love for music can be seen through the way they sang the two classic songs. It’s just marvelous to watch the duet sang an unforgettable mashup.

Guests at Canada’s ‘Great Bear Lodge’ Got to Witness Mesmerizing Creatures Getting Out of Water While Having Their Breakfast

Vacation is great and all, but have you ever ate hotel breakfast while watching over some humpback whales?

In Canada at the Great Bear Lodge, lucky guests got to witness this special breakfast show.

As they sat at the lakeside for breakfasts, bubbling water next to them shocked the guests.

But what were they doing there in the first place? A whale studier (cetologist) explains they were using an eating strategy.

“They’ve chased a school of fish into that cove. They get it nice and concentrated, then blow bubbles around the school, like a makeshift net. Then several humpbacks dive below and surge to the surface all at once, mouths open, eating gigantic amounts of fish. It’s a typical hunting technique that humpbacks use.”

Either way, these beautiful giants had the guests ecstatic. Two even high-fived each other after seeing it. To be honest, I probably would do the same.

The whole thing was pretty amazing, check it out for yourself in this video!

3 men approach 77-yr-old grandma at ATM: Seconds later, realize they chose the wrong pensioner to rob

Most people learn that grandparents aren’t people to mess with from an early age. It’s the same ending every time. One grandma you definitely shouldn’t mess with is this 77-year-old on from Wirral, UK.

One day, Winifred went to the ATM to withdraw money.

Standing there, she noticed a person walking up to behind her. Before she could react, the two men pulled her off balance while another man showed up. He reached over and tried to withdraw 200 euros.

If Winifred could not act quickly, they would drain all the money from her account. When he reached to withdraw the cash, she came up with her plan.

Grabbing his collar, she slammed the man’s head into the machine. She knocked his head three times before scaring off the robbers.

After she placed a call, the cops arrested the robbers later in the day.

According to the prosecutor, the robbers drove to the village to find easy targets.

“They did not care about how this would affect me,” Winifred said, “I would definitely say this has changed my life, I will never have the confidence I once did.”

Good job Winifred! Hopefully, they learned their lesson!

Mom and daughter enjoy their meal while foster son starves—then a disgusted stranger approaches

The number of children under foster care in the United States only is around 420.000. All of these kids desperately try to find a place they’d call ‘home’. However, cases of abuse and neglect over them by the people who are supposed to protect them are numerous. Devastating is the fact that a great number of people decide to become foster parents with the aim of cashing in the monthly remuneration. If we associate our kids with paychecks, then it means suffering will be the order of the day. The social experiment below is entitled What Would You Do and it features a foster mom who undermines her foster son and on the other hand favors her biological daughter while serving dinner.

She lets her daughter take whatever she wishes on the menu and informs him he only has to spend $4. When her daughter misbehaves, he is the one who is reprimanded and the woman tells him no person will ever adopt a child like him. Crying is the only thing he can do. Even when in the darkest moment of your life, there is always a light of hope from somewhere. Another woman shows up and buys the boy whatever he wants and is ready to do everything to ensure the kid is comfortable – even reporting the abusive mother to the authorities.

Although this is a social experiment, these are things which happen around us and it is our responsibility to end them and change the world.

Man With Special Needs Gets Surprise From IHOP Waitress

Very often what looks like a simple act of kindness can go a long way and make someone’s day one of their most memorable ones. If we are lucky, we will even capture it on film to remember it even longer.

Regina Thomason recently went to grab a bite to eat with her brother Dwayne Roach at an IHOP in Abilene, Texas – just after his doctor’s appointment. That’s when Dwayne, who has Down syndrome, noticed something interesting about their waitress Millie’s uniform.

50-year-old Dwayne just so happens to love name tags. So when he spotted the one pinned to Millie’s IHOP shirt, he was drawn to it.

Regina wrote on Facebook:

“He told the waitress that he liked her name tag and then told her that his name is ‘Captain America.'”

But instead of just going about her shift without another thought about it – Millie decided to do something extra special for Dwayne (AKA: Captain America).

Right before the brother and sister pair were about to leave the restaurant, their waitress Millie approached their table. In her hands she had an extra name tag just for Dwayne!

She reached down and took hold of his collared shirt, pinning it on herself. Dwayne was super happy about his new accessory – which Regina was happy to report featured the name “Captain America.”

“Thank you to Millie at Ihop. U made his day!”

It may seem like a small act to some, but for the pair of siblings it was a huge deal. As it turns out Dwayne likes to collect name tags and badges – and even at times has gone by the name “John Wayne.”

As for Millie, this wasn’t the only time she’s treated her customers with kindness. She told News 4:

“When people come in, I want to make them smile. If they leave happy, it makes me happy.”

The waitress also explained how she felt about the situation:

“When he left, I said, ‘Bye, Captain America!’ and he just giggled. It made me feel good.”

Understandably their story’s gone viral and is warming hearts across the nation. After all, sometimes it’s the sweet little moments in life that can be the most touching!

Trucker Spots Disabled Teen Eyeing Him On Route, Plots Plan That Brings Mom To Tears

Every time while driving his big rig on the highway, Mark King would get a smile from a teenage boy sitting in the front lawn in a wheelchair. Waving at each other has eventually became a nice ritual for the two.

The boy’s name is Dakota, but everyone knows him as Bubba. He has Dandy Walker syndrome, a congenital brain malformation that delays development of motor skills, as well as cerebral palsy.

Bubba’s mom Peggy Cadd told Transport Topics that because of his two conditions, he requires assistance to walk. But the highlight of Bubba’s day is when he parks his wheelchair in the front yard of his home situated along Highway 26 and waits for truck drivers to honk as they whiz by.

If he’s feeling up to it, he’ll sit there every single day. That’s how Mark caught on to Bubba’s love of all things with 18 wheels.

Mark felt bad that he didn’t have a horn to honk for Bubba, so he decided to do something else special for the teen. So he left a T-shirt emblazoned with his company’s logo on it and a toy semi-trailer truck on the lawn near where Bubba usually sits.

Mark confessed that he grew up with a sister who has special needs and felt drawn to Bubba. The teen is one of 14 adopted children raised by Peggy and her husband Rick.

Seven of those 14 kids, including Bubba, still live at home with the Cadds. Bubba was adopted when he was nine months old.

Peggy shared Mark’s sweet gift for Bubba on social media. It didn’t take long before others hatched a plan.

Complete strangers teamed up to create 18 Wheels for Bubba. This would be a special 16th birthday party just for Bubba complete with 182 semi-trailer trucks lining the local park.

When the family pulled into the parking lot, Bubba was “amazed.” He had no idea what strangers from across the country had done just for him.

Driver Ray Hagen trekked from California to Illinois just so his bright orange semi could make an appearance before Bubba. Hundreds of people showed up to celebrate Bubba’s birthday, which was complete with cake and presents.

Bubba made it his mission to visit every single semi and honk the horn of as many as he could. At the party, Bubba was named an honorary member of Owner-Operated Independent Drivers Association and of Dairyland Diesel, both organizations for truck drivers.

Watch Bubba’s beautiful reaction when he discovers that all of those semis are there — just for him!

Firefighters Get Unlikely Help While Removing Tree

Being a firefighter not only requires physical strength, but also altruism, selflessness and willingness to risk your own life for the sake of others’. However, the firefighters’ job doesn’t only revolve around fires. When a group of firemen were called to a scene, they arrived to find a huge tree ready to topple over onto a house. Although this wasn’t their normal job, the firemen didn’t hesitate to take action, but they had no idea there would be another participant help them out who wasn’t a part of their crew.

One firemen gets directly behind the tree and begins to use a saw to cut through it. While he tends to the saw, the others hold a rope connected to the tree. This ensures that they can pull back if the tree somehow starts to fall in the opposite direction from where they intended. But as an onlooker looks on and records he manages to capture a laugh out loud sight that has everyone cracking up!

YouTube

The firemen begin to tug on their rope but little do they know they have an extra helping hand all the way at the end of the rope behind them. The men pull hard and onlookers behind them can’t stop giggling. Confused, the firemen begin to look around and that’s when they see a dog tugging and pulling with everything he’s got in the back. The sight has everyone in a fit of laughter. As far as the dog, it’s easy to see he’s a huge team player. Watch the hilarious sight for yourself in the video below.

Woman Who Can’t Conceive Receives Call From Sister With News

The bond between sisters is something special. The sister is someone you can always rely on no matter how hard things get. They are there to provide love and support, and sometimes even the most valuable gift that money can’t buy, motherhood.

The dream most women have for themselves is to create a family of their own someday. When they finally get to the point where they feel ready to start their own family, it is usually a very happy time for them.

For some women, the process of getting pregnant is very easy. They get pregnant, deliver a healthy baby, and then go on to live a beautiful life. For other women, the process is not that simple. For one striving mother, she knows this all too well.

Aimee Morrisby has longed to start her own family for as long as she can remember. When she was younger, Aimee was diagnosed with a bowel disease that left behind scar tissue in her abdomen. She never realized the extent of how much damage was done until she had a doctor visit at 21-years-old. Unfortunately, the doctor informed Aimee that she may have complications with her uterus one day if she ever tried to conceive…

When Aimee finally reached the point of life where she wanted to start a family, she spent five long years trying to get pregnant. Sadly however, Aimee fell under the category of women who have difficulties becoming pregnant.

Aimee and her husband Jake tried everything. They did several IVF treatments that resulted in Aimee having four miscarriages in five years. Aimee went to a digestive specialist, who confirmed that her abdomen just looked like a ball of scar tissue remains from her disease. Her IVF doctor even warned her that her reproductive system was most likely compromised.

After the five year mark, Aimee was suddenly realizing that she might never be able to get pregnant, nor become a mother. She shared her emotional feelings with her sister, Shayna. Trying to comfort her sister, Shayna did the very best she could, but Aimee was completely heartbroken.

Then one night, completely out of the blue, Aimee got a call from her sister. Shayna said the four most beautiful and selfless words that Aimee has ever had anyone say to her in her whole life, ‘Let’s have a baby.’ Already a mom of two, Shayna was willing to carry her sister Aimee and her husband Jake’s baby for them.

Aimee was immediately ecstatic, but wanted to really make sure that Shayna was up for being pregnant again, and wanting to deliver a baby. Shayna reassured her sister that she was willing to do it for them. A short time later, Shayna was impregnated with one of Aimee’s embryos from her IVF treatments.

For the next nine months, Aimee went to every sonogram and every doctor’s appointment with Shayna, and watched as her sister’s belly grew to hold her baby. Both husbands were extremely supportive during the whole process. In the end, the decision to have a water birth was made, and the time had come for Shayna to deliver Aimee and Jake’s baby.

During the delivery, Aimee held Shayna’s hand the whole time, watching as she gave birth to Aimee and Jake’s little girl. The baby was perfectly healthy, and Aimee and Jake got to cut the cord.

They named her Francesca Louise Morrisby, and she is a healthy growing little girl now. Both couples had a tremendously beautiful experience with the whole situation. Shayna’s selfless act of love allowed Aimee and Jake to fulfill their dreams of starting their own little family.

Reflecting on the whole experience, and how long and hard Aimee tried to conceive, Aimee wanted to share this piece of advice with similar women who may be also struggling to become pregnant:

“My biggest advice to mothers that are pushing themselves to the brink is that it is OK to stop trying in your own body. At the end of the day there is no way my own daughter would be as happy and healthy if I had given birth to her.”

What a beautiful act of selfless love between two sisters.

Like Aimee mentioned, if you have been trying to get pregnant, and it just isn’t working out, that doesn’t mean you have to give up completely. There are other options, such as surrogates or even adoption if you are wanting to start your own family.

116-year-old Italian woman reveals one food she attributes to her long and healthy life It’s a daily habit you’ll want to have

It always crosses my mind as to why some people live longer than others. It always seems like people are on a search to find a food that could help you live a long and health life.

The oldest living person died at the age of 122 in 1997. More recently, Giuseppina Projetto reached 116 years old.

When asked for her secret to such a long life, she answered with a shocking response.

People knew her as ‘the nonna of Italy.’ She lived in a village near Florence and had a son who sadly drowned at the age of 39.

She became Europe’s oldest living person in December of 2017.

After her grandson told her the news, she said“Really? And exactly how old Am i? So many?”

She revealed she can’t go a day without chocolate. She claims this food contributed to her long, healthy life.

Despite its high fat and calorie content, chocolate can actually be pretty beneficial. Research has shown that dark chocolate’s antioxidant levels are higher than some superfruit juices!

Check out some more benefits of Giuseppina’s super food below!
