Sassy Little Mila Is Not A Fan Of Airport Security

When two-year-old Mila Stauffer and her family left their home in Arizona and set out for Michigan, she had no idea that things could get so complicated once they entered the airport! The family of seven rarely gets to do anything without drawing attention to themselves and going through the airport was no different.

Maneuvering five children through the baggage check was one hurdle they were able to overcome. But when it was time for the security checkpoint, little Mila wasn’t having it…

YouTube

The moment the Stauffers returned home, Mila needed to vent about their TSA experience. Looking into Mom’s camera, Mila explained that the long lines, pat-downs of her brother and lack of accessible bathrooms are all something she didn’t prepare for!

She couldn’t believe their experience! She just had to share!

YouTube

Traveling is hard as an adult, but being patient in a winding security line as a toddler is something that was practically unimaginable! Poor little precocious Mila had no patience for any of it!

Mila went on and on with her explanation as to why airport security was the worst and Mom did her best not to giggle. This sassy little one is definitely full of spunk!

YouTube

She didn’t have a problem with speaking her mind! Mom was wise to videotape her testy testimony and share it with the world where she has since gone viral.

At the end of the video, Mila looked into the camera and said that she’s done with TSA and “never again” will she go through that type of experience. We beg to differ, little Mila!

YouTube

Sadly, if Mila ever wants to fly again, she’s probably going to have more encounters with the TSA. We’ll be ready and waiting to hear her future reports!

Thankfully Mom was able to capture every moment of this pint-sized rant and decided to share it with the world. We’ve seen Mila go off on different topics before, but this is the most relatable by far!

Take a peek at her hilarious TSA rant for yourself in the video below. She’s just too darn funny!

Turlock Firefighters Help Woman With Home After Welfare Check

It’s not like we need to be reminded of how much we all love firefighters. But in case you do need a reminder of all the hard work, sacrifice and heart that goes into their jobs…

More than 3,500 personnel are now fighting the Ferguson fire, which broke out near Yosemite on July 13 and has since grown to include more than 43,000 acres.

Facebook

Turlock Fire OES Strike Team 4803A is among those agencies, and when they arrived at Turlock resident Brenda Ann Marks’s door late last week, she was certain they were there to deliver bad news: The fire was creeping closer, and she’d have to evacuate.

But she was wrong.

“I heard a knock at the front door,” wrote Brenda. “There stood 4 firemen in full gear. I said, ‘Oh no, I have to leave again?’ He instantly replied, ‘No, ma’am we’re here to help you. Is there anything we can do?’”

Facebook

These kind-hearted men had just stopped by her cabin to do a welfare check and ask if she needed anything. After all, it had to be an intensely frightening experience, not knowing if, or when, she might be forced to evacuate with only what she could carry.

She couldn’t think of anything off the top of her head — but they could!

He then replied so sweetly, “Do you have a lawn mower? Your lawn needs mowing and we want to do it!” So one guy headed out and mowed my back yard!!

Facebook

Then the other guy said, “Why is your freezer out here on the deck?”

“Oh,” I said, “I still have to clean it out it’s empty of rotten food…I’m going to do that today!”

He replied, “Well I’m going to clean it out for you… Do you have cleaning supplies bleach, 409, some rags?”

I said, “Oh that’s ok I can do it.”

Facebook

Lo and behold, before I knew it two of them pick up my freezer and took it over to the gravel out front. Cleaned it and carried back into my home.

I had an ice chest that was leaking water inside the front hallway… Well I’m sure you can guess he took everything out transferring it to a good freezer next to it!

Facebook

I also had a lot of pieces to the inside of the refrigerator freezer propped up in the hall drying from being cleaned.

Well, that wouldn’t do. Minutes later, the freezer had been reassembled, restocked and even cleaned! All these kind gestures literally brought Brenda to tears. She was so touched that she took the time to jot down their names so she could acknowledge them in a Facebook post.

Facebook

These men went well above their job description to bless a complete stranger. Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we were all a little more like Shaun, Cameron, Steve, and Corey?

Autistic 11-year-old shocked a college class when he walked to the whiteboard and did this

Autism is is a lifelong developmental disorder that can make it very difficult for the person to communicate and socialize with other people. Despite the serious disability, these individuals can reveal some impressive talents and strengths.

An 11 years old boy with autism showed his incredible drawing skills when he drew an all-inclusive and detailed world map depending merely on his memory. The happening occurred when a New York professor invited the talented boy to one of her classes where he got up on a chair and drew the accurate map.

One of the students couldn’t help and took pictures of the incredible artistic work. His father then posted the pictures on Reddit.

No matter what difficulties communicating or interacting autistic children can struggle with, they can show some amazing talents that we all of us should support and encourage.

Her son was able to draw the entire world map on the whiteboard from memory.

The drawing is very detailed. It shows small islands, peninsulas, and every continent is appropriately spaced.

He even labeled everything!

This is doubly impressive due to the fact that most full grown adults couldn’t draw a full world map without a cheat sheet. Autistic people often have very literal and photographic memories that the rest of us don’t. This 11 year old is a good example of the capabilities of autistic people.

If you felt inspired by this talented young boy’s handwork, feel free to SHARE it with everyone you know!

Elderly Woman Sends Brilliant Letter To Bank After They Bounced Her Check

This is an actual letter that was sent to a bank by an 86-year-old woman. It was so amusing that the bank’s manager decided to have it published in the New York Times.

“Dear Sir: I am writing to thank you for bouncing my check with which I endeavored to pay my plumber last month. By my calculations, 3 nanoseconds must have elapsed between his presenting the check and the arrival in my account of the funds needed to honor it..

I refer, of course, to the automatic monthly deposit of my entire pension, an arrangement which, I admit, has been in place for only 8 years.

You are to be commended for seizing that brief window of opportunity, and also for debiting my account $30 by way of penalty for the inconvenience caused to your bank.

My thankfulness springs from the manner in which this incident has caused me to rethink my errant financial ways. I noticed that whereas I personally answer your telephone calls and letters, — when I try to contact you, I am confronted by the impersonal, overcharging, pre-recorded, faceless entity which your bank has become.

From now on, I, like you, choose only to deal with a flesh-and-blood person

My mortgage and loan repayments will therefore and hereafter no longer be automatic, but will arrive at your bank, by check, addressed personally and confidentially to an employee at your bank whom you must nominate.

Be aware that it is an OFFENSE under the Postal Act for any other person to open such an envelope.

Please find attached an Application Contact which I require your chosen employee to complete.

I am sorry it runs to eight pages, but in order that I know as much about him or her as your bank knows about me, there is no alternative.

Please note that all copies of his or her medical history must be countersigned by a Notary Public, and the mandatory details of his/her financial situation (income, debts, assets and liabilities) must be accompanied by documented proof.

In due course, at MY convenience, I will issue your employee with a PIN number which he/she must quote in dealings with me.

I regret that it cannot be shorter than 28 digits but, again, I have modeled it on the number of button presses required of me to access my account balance on your phone bank service.

As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Let me level the playing field even further. When you call me, press buttons as follows: IMMEDIATELY AFTER DIALING, PRESS THE STAR (*) BUTTON FOR ENGLISH

#1. To make an appointment to see me

#2. To query a missing payment.

#3. To transfer the call to my living room in case I am there.

#4 To transfer the call to my bedroom in case I am sleeping.

#5. To transfer the call to my toilet in case I am attending to nature.

#6. To transfer the call to my mobile phone if I am not at home.

#7. To leave a message on my computer, a password to access my computer is required. Password will be communicated to you at a later date to that Authorized Contact mentioned earlier.

#8. To return to the main menu and to listen to options 1 through

#9. To make a general complaint or inquiry. The contact will then be put on hold, pending the attention of my automated answering service.

#10. This is a second reminder to press* for English.

While this may, on occasion, involve a lengthy wait, uplifting music will play for the duration of the call. Regrettably, but again following your example, I must also levy an establishment fee to cover the setting up of this new arrangement. May I wish you a happy, if ever so slightly less prosperous New Year? Your Humble Client And remember: Don’t make old people mad. We don’t like being old in the first place, so it doesn’t take much to piss us off.”

Why you should not sleep with your phone in the bed

People have become very attached and dependent on their smartphones. What used to be a simple device to help us stay connected to our friends and family has become our entire world. Photos, messages, videos and more live on these small devices, and they become an extension of ourselves.

When was the last time you went out without taking your phone with you? It’s the last thing we put down and the first thing we pick up in the morning, which didn’t seem like a big deal until now.

One night 14-year-old Le Thi Xoan plugged in her phone before bed, and kept it next to her while she slept, which was her everyday routine. The next morning her mother tried calling for her to get out of bed, but she never received an answer. After several tries, she went to her daughter’s room to check why she wasn’t responding but found her lying unconscious in bed.

Her parents rushed her to the emergency room, but she was announced dead on arrival. Her parents were in complete disbelief and had no idea how this could have happened. Their daughter didn’t have any preexisting health conditions and it was clear that it wasn’t suicide.

So when they discovered the cause, they were stunned.

The autopsy report revealed that their daughter had died of an electric shock, according to the Daily Mail. Their parents didn’t understand since everything looked normal at home – until they lifted her bed covers.

They found Le Thi’s phone charger lying under her blanket. Although it was plugged into the phone it wasn’t charging, and they saw that the part of the cable closest to the phone was completely burnt.

The parents explained that their daughter charged her phone every night and kept her phone in bed with her. The police investigated the scene further and saw that the phone plastic cover had a piece of tape placed over it, which resulted in the shock right as she plugged in her phone.

It is extremely dangerous to charge your phone with a broken cable.

It’s better to be safe than sorry. NEVER sleep with your phone in your bed, especially if your charger is broken. Do what you can to get the charger replaced immediately and keep yourself safe.

20 Years After Their Birth Captivated The World, The Aylmer Twins Are All Grown Up

In 1996, Donna and Vince Aylmer had the surprise of the lives when they found out that they weren’t just expecting their fourth child, they were going to be welcoming a fifth one too.

On January 16, 1997, the couple welcomed twin girls, Lucy and Maria, into the family. Although, they knew early on that the twins were fraternal, they did not expect them to look so significantly different from one another.

Maria was born black with tight curls and brown eyes like her half-Jamaican mother, while Lucy’s fair skin and light eyes matched her dad’s, who is Caucasian.

As expected, Donna and Vince were in shock when they were handed their daughters.

“It was such a shock for her because obviously things like skin color don’t show up on scans before birth,” Lucy explained in a recent interview. “So she had no idea that we were so different. When the midwife handed us both to her, she was just speechless.”

The twins have other siblings, including two older brothers, and an older sister, but all of them bear light-brown complexions that reflect their mixed race genes.

“Our brothers and sisters have skin which is in between Maria and I,” said Lucy to Daily Mail, “We are at opposite ends of the spectrum and they are all somewhere in between. But my grandmother has a very fair English rose complexion, just like mine.”

Over the years, Donna and Vince got divorced, but they continued to co-parent the twins and their siblings. Donna would often dress the girls in matching outfits, which confused people because although they were sisters, they looked nothing alike.

“No one ever believes we are twins because I am white and Maria is black,” Lucy explained to the New York Post. “Even when we dress alike, we still don’t even look like sisters, let alone twins.”

As Lucy and Maria got older, they asked their mom to stop dressing them in matching outfits. Around the age of seven is when the girls knew that although they’re twin sisters, they were also unique individuals, and they wanted to let that show.

“We don’t look alike. So why should we have to wear the exact same thing?” said Lucy.

Unfortunately, because of their looks, the twins endured some not-so-great moments while growing up. Lucy was often teased and called names because she did not look like the rest of her family. Her red hair and fair skin set her apart from her siblings, and people thought she was adopted. Maria also admitted that she “hated” her curly locks, and “used to cry about it.”

Now, 20 years since their birth captivated the world, Lucy and Maria are still very much opposites, in every sense of the word. Their personalities and taste in style are almost as different as their looks.

Nowadays, the sisters have learned to embrace their differences, and it has brought them a little closer. The boho-chic Maria is currently studying law and psychology at Cheltenham College in the U.K, and describes herself as “outgoing.” She also dresses in girly outfits and loves being glamorous.

“I love meeting people. I’m not scared to approach people,” Maria told Inside Edition.

As for Lucy, she is an art student at a college in Gloucester, U.K and has developed a very edgy style, but is a lot more reserved and shy than her sister. “I’m terrified of going up to random strangers,” she admitted.

When asked if their opposite appearances had an effect on their relationship as sisters, Lucy replied, “I think if we’d looked similar or even identical, then the bond between us would have been stronger when we were younger. But Maria and I had such different personalities, too. She was the outgoing twin whilst I was the shy one.”

Today, the sisters consider themselves as close friends and their bond is stronger than ever.

“Now we have grown older, even though we still look so different, the bond between us is much stronger,” Maria explained.

People, including their friends, are still doubtful that they’re sisters, but that doesn’t stop them from proudly telling everyone that they’re related.

“Maria loves telling people at college that she has a white twin – and I’m very proud of having a black twin,” Lucy said.

We can’t wait to see what Maria and Lucy have in store for the future!

Hilarious Dentist Puts New Spin On Dance Challenge

When most of us think about the dentist, frightening images of sharp tools, screeching machines, and grisly older men come into mind. But this dentist is here to change our perception of dentists – and he’s doing so with a fun rendition of Drake’s “In My Feelings” dance challenge.

While the song plays in the background, Dr. Rich Constantine of Constantine Dental in Greenville, South Carolina boogies like the best of ’em. He had no idea his video would gain so much attention online, but we understand why it did…

YouTube

Dr. Constantine performed all of the moves to the “In My Feelings” challenge – but this time, he called it the “In My Fillings” challenge!

The “In My Feelings” or “Shiggy” dance challenge began shortly after (the hip-hop artist) Drake’s song “In My Feelings” went viral. Fans began posting videos of themselves dancing to his words and the best renditions started to gain attention online. That’s when Dr. Constantine got the good idea to record his own version!

People from all over the world were blown away by the dentist’s fun moves. He even got a little special attention from women. One viewer wrote:

“I found myself looking for his wedding ring, then I remembered that I’m married.”

YouTube

Since his video has totally blown up online, Dr. Constantine had to go back on his practice’s official Facebook page to share an update.

“Until the other day, I was just known for some wedding dancing and some dance battles with my wife Trish at home in the living room. This is all to make people realize that going to the dentist can be fun and that we’re just here to make you smile.”

While all of the women pining over Dr. Constantine are probably disappointed to learn he is, in fact, married, we can all use the reminder that dentists have a tough job! They just want to help us show off our best smile – yet, they get such a bad reputation!

Be sure to show your dentist a little extra appreciation during your next appointment!

65 years of math in American public schools. This is frighteningly accurate

Last week I purchased a burger at Burger King for $1.58. The counter girl took my $2 and I was digging for my change when I pulled 8 cents from my pocket and gave it to her. She stood there, holding the nickel and 3 pennies, while looking at the screen on her register. I sensed her discomfort and tried to tell her to just give me two quarters, but she hailed the manager for help. While he tried to explain the transaction to her, she stood there and cried.

Why do I tell you this? Because of the evolution in teaching math since the 1950’s:

Teaching Math In 1950’s:

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price. What is his profit ?

Terri Irwins Latest Confession About Husband Can’t Be Ignored

There are some people that leave their mark on the world in a way no one else can compare. And in 2006 the world mourned the loss of one of the world’s finest, Steve Irwin.

It’s been 12 years since the loss of the remarkable zookeeper everyone around the world loved for his fun, spunky personality. And although his passing came as a shock to the world at just the young age of 44, his wife Terri Irwin is speaking up to tell fans it wouldn’t have shocked him at all.

Instagram/Bindi Sue Irwin

Recently, Terri sat with an Australian television series called “Anh’s Brush With Fame” and the interview took a turn when Terri emotionally revealed,

He never thought he’d have a long life. He always kind of had this sense his life would be cut short.

Unfortunately, Steve was right, when a sting ray approached him and pierced him in the chest with its barb in between takes while filming “Ocean’s Deadliest” in Queensland, Australia. Following the incident Terri was notified to call her zoo manager. Recalling the moment when she found out Terri states,

I just remember this incredible sense of responsibility, this feeling of overwhelming grief but ‘what do I do next? I kind of collected my thoughts and then had to go out to the car and tell Bindi and Robert … which was really hard.

Instagram/Bindi Sue Irwin

Terri then tearfully recalls the last time she saw Steve. She, Bindi and Robert were flying to Tasmania while Steve stayed behind to film the documentary.

I remember him at the airstrip waving goodbye. That was the last time we saw him.

Once the news of his passing got out to the press Terri admits Steve himself would have been shocked by the amount of support he was shown.

No one would’ve been more surprised than Steve at the outpouring of grief and love.

Sadly he left behind his wife and two young children, who to this day are big wildlife enthusiasts just like their father. Despite the fame that Steve had over the years Terri says she always admired the fact that the fame never got to his head stating,

Famous wasn’t a word that occurred to Steve. I loved that about him, he was never pretentious, never big-noted himself, and we did put everything we made for wildlife and still do back into conservation, I’m really proud of that.

Instagram/Bindi Sue Irwin

I think it’s safe to say that’s part of the reason why the world loved him so much and continues to remember his name. Thankfully, his loving children and wife continue to build on his incredible legacy. Rest in peace, Steve.

Woman has the best comeback for her rude mother-in-law…

A woman who was married to her irresponsible husband had to raise a kid on her own because the so-called man of the house was always out at the bar with his friends, and when he wasn’t, he was always slacking off at home.

She called up her mother-in-law during a particularly hard day, whom she wasn’t always on the best of terms with because she tended to side with her son rather than offer the woman any sort of support.

The woman asked, “Could you tell me who changes the child if it poops itself? Is it the dad or the mom?”

“It is always the mother, honey,” said the mother-in-law condescendingly.

“OK then“ said the woman. “Could you come over please? Your son got drunk and sh*t himself.”

Cameron Lyle donated 2 liters of bone marrow to save a stranger’s life – the price he paid has me in tears

Cameron Lyle was a 21 year old track and field star at the University of New Hampshire when he received a call that would change his life.

He had registered to be a bone marrow donor two years previously, and was told that the chances that he would be a match were extremely small.

However, he was a match, for a 28 year old man who he’d never met, who had been given just months to live.

Cameron didn’t think twice about donating, and his decision changed both of their lives forever.

YouTube/ NCAA

Cameron had joined the bone marrow registry during his sophomore year, but hadn’t thought much of it since then.

“I swabbed for ‘Be The Match’. I went with a couple of friends, took 10 minutes, filled some paperwork, swabbed a cheek,” he tells NCAA.

The chances of being a match for someone are extremely small, so Cameron was blown away when he received a call 2 years later saying that he was a match. All they could tell him about the potential recipient was that he was a 28 year old man with leukemia who had been given just months to live. Cameron didn’t think twice before agreeing to donate.

Life changing

Bone marrow donation is a long and complicated procedure, and is often tough on the donor. An average patient needs 5-10 cubic centimeters of marrow, however Cameron’s recipient needed 1800 cubic centimeters.

But luckily, both Cameron and his recipient recovered well following the procedure. Cameron even received a heartfelt letter from the man he had saved.

YouTube/ NCAA

“I got a really powerful card from him. It was dated the day that he received the marrow, so he wrote it still not knowing if he was gonna’ live or not,” Cameron says.

YouTube/ NCAA

End of his athletic career

Cameron’s actions didn’t just have a life-changing impact on his recipient, it also changed his own life forever. When Cameron agreed to donate, he was nearing the end of his athletic season and his final campionships. Donating bone marrow put a stop to his campionship ambitions.

“I went to tell my coach and then I realized slowly that my season was over,” cameron tells ABC News.

But of course, everybody around Cameron was extremely supportive of his selfless act. As his coach James Boulander puts it: “Throwing a 16lb metal object as far as you can – nice! Helping somebody live – totally different. Priceless.

And Cameron’s decision had a bigger impact than he could have imagined. Not only did he save this recipient’s life, but he inspired others to go out and register as potential donors, too.

“So, many people went out and got swabbed when my story came out. The numbers doubled in a week,” Cameron explains.

YouTube/ NCAA

“It really starts with you wanting to help someone. There’s not enough of that right now, people helping people. There’s a bigger picture out there than just you.”

Police receive letter from 9 yr old girl, then they notice the $10 bill stuffed inside and act immediately

A cop walks into a donut shop…sounds like the start of a joke but it was the start of an unforgettable moment for 9 year old Brooke.

Brooke was standing in line, waiting to buy some donut holes. But when she got to the cashier, she discovered that she didn’t have enough money.

As it turns out, there was a kind stranger waiting behind her – State Trooper Chad Savannah.

What happened next is what has the people’s heart melting all over the internet.

9 year old Brooke describes the scene in a way that we can all relate to.

Unexpected reaction

“I was standing in line and I didn’t have enough money and I’m like, frozen,” Brooke tells The Butler Eagle. “I didn’t know what to do.”

Afterwards:

But when Brooke got home, she was able to compose her thoughts, and decided to write a ‘Thank you‘ note to her local police department.  She wanted to thank the unknown trooper for helping her. In the thank you not, she also enclosed a $10 bill to cover the cost of the donuts.

Trooper Savannah and his fellow officers were all impressed by the little girl’s thank you message.

“I think everybody here was very moved by the kindness of this 9 year old,” says the captain of the police department.

“The officers decided that Brooke deserved a reward, and gathered some money together to purchase a $50 Toys R Us gift card for Brooke. They mailed the card to the little girl and figured she would buy some toys for herself. But what she did instead took them by surprise. She purchased $50 worth of toys with the gift voucher and donated them to Toys for Tots.”

When the officer’s found out that Brooke donated all the toys she bought, they decided that she deserved some special treatment. Brook was invited to the police station, where she was given a full tour. Sitting in the police care was her favorite part of the day.

Brooke’s family says that her thoughtfulness was not out of character at all.

“We’re trying to teach our kids right. To take care of what they owe for,” says Brooke’s mom Beth Yost.

A funny joke about a taxi driver and pastor that went to heaven

A pastor and a taxi driver both died and went to heaven.

St. Peter was at the Pearly gates waiting for them.

‘Come with me’, said St. Peter to the taxi driver.

The taxi driver did as he was told and followed St. Peter to a mansion.

It had anything you could imagine from a bowling alley to an Olympic size pool.

‘Wow, thank you’, said the taxi driver.

Next, St. Peter led the pastor to a rugged old shack with a bunk bed and a little old television set.

‘Wait, I think you are a little mixed up,’ said the pastor.

‘Shouldn’t I be the one who gets the mansion? After all I was a pastor, went to church every day, and preached God’s word.’

‘Yes, that’s true. But during your sermons people slept. When the taxi driver drove, everyone prayed.’

Cop’s Rant About Slow ‘Grandpa’ On Road Goes Viral

There’s no question that being on the road with speeding drivers can be dangerous. But the reality is slow motorists can pose a threat as well – on top of being frustrating! So when one officer noticed a very old ‘grandpa’ in front of him while driving, he kept his eyes peeled. After all, he was traveling well under the speed limit.

YouTube

Florida deputy Brian Bowman got back in his car after confronting the slow ‘driver’ and felt the need to vent about his experience to the camera. He starts out by expressing his annoyance saying, “The nerve of this guy… He’s literally going 1 mile per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone.” Whoa, that sounds pretty bad! Officer Bowman then goes on to explain that the guy’s about 100-years-old, which seems to help things make more sense. But then he continues, “He shouldn’t be out on the roadways to begin with.”

YouTube

From the sounds of it the officer was in a pretty interesting situation, especially since when he went to talk to him he was snapped at! But just as you’re feeling Officer Bowman’s frustration, the camera turns to reveal the elderly grandpa… And who’s in front of him is exactly as described – only it’s a tortoise walking slowly in the middle of the street! The video is so funny and spot-on that it’s gone viral. Press play below to see it for yourself. How the officer closes it up is hilarious!

Woman’s True Colors Shown After Visit To Elderly Veterans Home

As we age we find ourselves easily trusting other people. Whether it’s because we rely on them or just because we have nothing to lose, it can sometimes turn into a problem that leads to getting taken advantage of. When a frail 94-year-old veteran named Thomas Hendrix opened his doors to a family to walk them thru his Georgia home he didn’t think anything of it. Only later that day Neil Deloch, his caretaker, saw a shocking sight on Thomas’ security camera that immediately raised red flags.

YouTube

In the footage Thomas escorts a family of four thru his house, two children and a man and wife. Thomas grabs his pet cockatoo and one of the curious kids asks “Does she bite” to which Thomas responds no. From there, he shuffles into the next room with the kids following behind. The man follows them into the other room when the woman stays behind in the room and asks if she can use his restroom. With everyone, including the homeowner in the other room, she then finds the veteran’s wallet and pry’s it open looking for cash. She takes some cash out then finds a second wallet that is empty. Realizing the second wallet is empty she goes back to the first wallet and removes more cash.

YouTube

The woman then stuffs the cash into her bra and enters the bathroom but only flushes the toilet to make it seem as though she was in the bathroom the entire time. Neil was outraged upon seeing the surveillance video and decided to post the video online. The woman, named Heather, then came forward in his post to state that the entire thing was a big misunderstanding and she didn’t steal from the veteran. While there is no telling whether or not she is telling the truth it seems suspicious that she would enter bathroom just to flush the toilet and make it seem like she was in there the entire time. Watch the footage for yourself in the video below.

Man Follows Postman And Silently Records His Actions

Sometimes it is easy to fall behind on our work duties when we’re overwhelmed with too much work. In the case of U.S. Postal Service workers, when their jobs get to be too much, the stuff that’s piling up on their proverbial desk may actually be our undelivered mail!

Unscrupulous mail carriers may even go so far as to hide the evidence somewhere nearby. When cinematographer Douglas Thron saw a mailman hanging around an area of town that he had no business being in, he was confused by the mailman’s behavior.

So he pulled out his camera and pressed record. It didn’t take long for him to figure out the truth about the postman.

Mail carriers spend long hours on their feet every day, and they’re supposed to deliver our mail six days a week, rain or shine, through sleet and snow. Oh, and apparently they make sure you get your important Amazon packages in post-apocalyptic conditions, too!

YouTube

When Douglas flew his drone above the wildfire-ravaged city of Santa Rosa, California, the only thing he expected to film was a scene of utter devastation. Instead, the drone captured a lone mailman in the act of bringing the neighborhood back to life, in his own special way.

In the video, a postal service worker can be seen driving his truck through a burned-out suburb, making regular stops to deliver the mail. Although many of the homes had been leveled by the flames, somehow the mailboxes were still standing.

YouTube

The mail carrier’s name is Trevor Smith, and people are calling him the most dedicated mailman on the planet! Trevor was honoring the request of the homeowners in the area, who were being let back into the fire zone to retrieve personal items.

Trevor’s efforts were captured by the drone along Piner Street, which is where a senior mobile home park is located. Some of the seniors Trevor personally knew from his route had asked him to continue to deliver their mail while they were evacuated.

Man Walking In The Woods Captures Forest Floor “Breathing” In Incredible Footage

A Nova Scotia man out for a walk caught a strange phenomena in the forest near the ocean’s edge. Thankfully, he pulled out his camera to record it. In the video, Brian Nuttall captures the forest floor, rising and falling as if “breathing”. “As I entered a patch of trees spared from clear cutting, I noticed the ground moving,” he says of the incident, which has since gone viral.

After posting the video, many commented that what appears as “breathing” is actually the root systems under the trees is loose and shifting. The natural phenomenon is called soil liquefaction. The solidness of the soil is reduced because of water saturation (and possibly air), which causes the visual effect where it appears that the soil is moving.

The scientific explanation doesn’t make it any less dramatic to watch, as you’ll see for yourself in the video below!

Teacher Shares Powerful Lesson For Parents Buying School Supplies

Leland Michael, a public school teacher from Iowa, was in the Walmart school section when two sets of parents stopped him to complain about the number of supplies they had to purchase for their kids. After completing his shopping, he walked to the register where another man also had something to say to the teacher.

But this time things ‘took a very different turn’ – and what Leland observed has since gone viral for all of the right reasons…

As soon as Leland got home that day, he took to Facebook to share what happened inside that Walmart and how he was inspired by one person in particular.

He wrote:

“I was feeling pretty jaded this morning as two different sets of parents at Walmart stopped me in the school supplies aisle to complain about how much they had to get their kids this year.

‘This is just ridiculous. I don’t know how these teachers think we are supposed to get all this stuff.’

As they complained, they seemed to be oblivious to the fact that my cart was filled with a class set of all the supplies they were buying–which should have been a pretty clear indication that I was one of those greedy teachers they were complaining about.”

Facebook/Leland Michaels

“While I was checking out, though, things took a very different turn. I noticed the man in front of me in the checkout lane was buying school supplies for his daughter.

As he went to leave, he said to me, ‘You are a teacher, right? I just want to thank you for everything you do. I see your cart is full with supplies, and I just wanted to help out as much as I can.’

Then he handed me a $25 Wal-Mart gift card, shook my hand, and walked away with his daughter smiling big at me.

While I was extremely moved by the man’s generosity, the part that stuck with me the most was the difference in his message to his daughter compared with the parents who had been complaining earlier.

The kids who heard their parents complaining heard this message: ‘School is not important enough to spend money on it, teachers are not to be trusted and have bad judgement, and learning does not require investment.’

The kid whose dad handed me the gift card heard: ‘School is important enough that we should give more than required to make sure it is successful, teachers should be respected and valued, and learning requires us giving it everything we have.’

If money is tight, and you struggle to buy your child school supplies, I understand. Don’t worry: more than likely your child will have a teacher and a school that makes sure they have the supplies they need to be successful this year. However, as a parent, do your best to send the right message to your child.

The man who gave me the gift card not only made my day, but I also know that his daughter will enter the classroom this year with a very different perspective about her teacher and her education, and that is extremely powerful!”

Facebook/Leland Michael

Since Leland posted his story on Facebook it’s gone viral, being shared more than 400,000 times. In addition, he’s received many heartfelt comments that agree with his powerful message.

People all over the country certainly have strong opinions when it comes to the topic of school supplies. But no matter how much you can afford to provide, we can all agree that education is of paramount importance, which is why we need to be good examples when it comes to it.

Tiny Dancer In Wheelchair Impresses With Ballet Moves

Milam Kiser, 3, from Shelbiana, Kentucky, has the soul of a star.

“The child is a diva,” her mother Amanda told Caters News.

“She loves to dance and absolutely adores music.”

But Milam isn’t your typical 3-year-old. She and her brother Noah were both born with a rare, genetic condition called osteogenesis imperfecta type III.

When a person has this condition, their bones are very fragile and vulnerable to breaks. It can often be diagnosed in the newborn period when a baby gets fractures just from being held and handled. Although this vulnerability to fractures is one of the main symptoms, according to Rare Diseases, other signs of the disorder include short stature, dental problems, macrocephaly (unusually large head), and hearing loss. Many of those afflicted are not able to walk without assistance.

“The change is caused by a gene mutation which affects bone formation and structure and can cause dwarfism,” Amanda explained.

“Both Noah and Milam are affected; they are tiny.”

“People always ask me if they’re twins even though there are three years between them.”

“She will get fractures very often. Since she was born, she’s had around 60, which have either required casting or splints.”

Despite Milam’s tiny stature, the little girl has big dreams: she is going to be a ballerina.

As a music lover, the toddler spends lots of time on YouTube. “Milam asked me to go to ballet classes because she watches the other girls on YouTube doing it and wants to be like them,” Amanda said.

As can be imagined, her mother was a bit apprehensive about the suggestion. The little girl was confined to a wheelchair and her condition made physical activity risky. Despite her worries, however, she couldn’t say no to her daughter’s dream.

“She said she wanted to be a ballerina, so I called the instructors, explained about her being in a wheelchair and they were all on board.”

In a video recorded by Amanda, you see Milam on the first day of ballet class.

In the opening scene, the little girl shows off her tutu for the camera, bouncing ecstatically on her bed. After about 10 seconds, the scene changes, and then you see Milam in the swing of her class.

The tiny ballerina doesn’t let her wheelchair hold her back, as she points her toes and pirouettes in line with the other girls.

She watches the other students carefully, synchronizing her moves with theirs. “Some of the children were a bit older than her but she really enjoyed herself,” Amanda said. “Usually Milam gets really nervous around the other kids at first, and there may be a few tears, but she really got stuck in.”

“She absolutely loved it.”

Since her first ballet class, Milam has suffered a few falls which have lowered her confidence a bit. “She was so happy when she’d finished the class but she’s really nervous to go back now,” Amanda revealed. Still, this video shows the pure beauty and joy of a little girl finally getting her dream.

P.S. Milam, if you see this, sweetheart— don’t let a few falls keep you down.

Grieving Mom Asks Stranger To Snap Pic Seconds Later Realizes Man’s True Identity

America’s No. 1 inspirational fiction writer Karen Kingsbury can conjure up all sorts of stories about miracles and angels watching over us for her amazing novels. But it wasn’t until she personally experienced a breathtaking moment herself that she realized the full impact divine intervention can have on a person. Karen had trekked to New York City to meet with her publisher. Her daughter Kelsey and her hubby Kyle tagged along so they could soak up the sights of the Big Apple.

YouTube

It was beautiful autumn afternoon and Karen was thrilled that Simon & Schuster would be publishing her latest book and signed on for more. The first thought she had was to call her dad. But her dad had been gone for a while now, having succumbed to a heart attack. Karen fondly remembered the moment when her dad shared how he always thought of his grown kids, his wife and other loved ones whenever he heard the legendary Rod Stewart’s song “Have I Told You Lately.”

YouTube

Feeling a bit blue despite receiving awesome news about her book, the trio headed to the gorgeous High Line Park. The words to Rod’s song floated through her mind while they walked. This song had played at the strangest times in Karen’s life after her father passed away – that was no coincidence. They attempted to take a selfie when a stranger walking by offered to snap the photo for them. He looked at the picture and said, “That’s lovely.” He handed Karen her camera and said, “God bless you” before walking away. Mere moments later, it dawned on Karen and her daughter who the kind stranger was.

Woman discretely dips her hand into her drink, when her nail changes colors she calls 911 This could save your life!

It’s sad that in this day and age woman have to worry constantly about being “roofied”.  Whether they are on a date or at a party men have taken to slipping “roofies” in females drinks to incapacitate them and then take advantage of them.

Finally enough is enough and women may have a way to protect themselves against the predators they may encounter. This invention is  a huge step when it comes to women’s safety.

A brand new form of nail polish for women has been developed. Woman will wear like any other nail polish but it will assist them when it comes to remaining safe in public places. All women need to do  is simply dip their fingertip into the drink and wait to see if the nail polish changes color.

While this polish has yet to be released for mass distribution, the men are keeping interested observers completely up to date by providing progress reports on their personal website, as well as their Facebook and Instagram. These efforts will also include a transparent form of the nail polish that can also be used by men.

This nail polish is long overdue!  Please be sure to share this with all the amazing woman in your life to keep them safe.

Diver impales a bull shark with a spear gun as it charges to attack him

Spear fisherman Danny Henricks is fortunate enough to have survived the type of underwater experience that proves just how dangerous sea creatures can be – and he even caught it all on video.

Henricks, 35, was fishing off the coast of Australia when a bull shark charged at him at full speed, only to impale himself on Danny’s spear gun.

The hair-raising clip has been video more than three million times (and counting) since Henricks uploaded it last month.

The diver was spending his holiday diving off the coast of north Queensland when he suddenly saw the fierce beast emerge from the depths.

“I was going to go for a deep dive, got halfway down… I seen him [the shark] on edge of the channel deep down,” Henricks told a news outlet.

“He didn’t worry me at all, he didn’t care about me, then he saw me, turned and came towards me half-pace… I sort of stopped in the middle of the water,” he said.

“I thought he was going to come towards me half-pace … I thought he was going to suss me out so I was just going to poke him away to show I wasn’t food. I just wanted him to keep me at a distance.”

Henricks says the underwater animal went full charge within the last five to six meters.

“I lunged forward with the gun a little bit just before he got there but most of it was his force,” he said.

Henricks, an experienced diver and fisherman, said he was shocked by the incident.

“I don’t think it’s really sunk in yet because I don’t really understand what’s happened,” he said in an interview last month. “Some people would say not being there in the first place, which I think I have a right to be there.”

Though the incident knocked his confidence slightly, Henricks says that he will continue to spearfish.

He plans to take a dive buddy from now on.

These tiny printed homes are world-changers

If society waits around for governments to solve the most important problems in the world, we’d probably be waiting forever in vain.

That’s why innovators are stepping up to find their own creative solutions.

One of those organizations is a San Francisco based non-profit called New Story. Their goal: “to create a world where no human being lives in survival mode.” They’re going to do that by ending homelessness.

Source: New Story

So far, their organization has built 534 homes in Haiti in eight communities for 1,848 people; 190 homes in El Salvador in five of their communities for 790 people; and 59 homes in one Bolivian community for 177 people.

They are currently building in Mexico. But they are still a long ways away from manifesting their vision.

“There are over 100 million people living in slum conditions in what we call survival mode,” Alexandria Lafci, New Story’s cofounder and COO, told Wired. “How can we make a big dent in this instead of just solving incrementally?”

Source: New Story

They figured that out while constantly coming up with ways to be more effective efficient. Their answer lied in 3-D printing.

They joined forces with construction technology company ICON print inexpensive 3-D homes.

“We feel it’s our responsibility to challenge traditional methods and work toward ending homelessness. Linear methods will never reach the billion+ people who need safe homes,” Brett Hagler, CEO of New Story, told Business Wire. “By working with ICON and leveraging their 3D printing innovations, we’re able to reach more families with the best possible shelter solutions, exponentially faster.”

Source: University of Eindhoven

Their collaboration produced a 650-square-foot house built in Austin, Texas that cost only $4,000 to make.

The house, which is a prototype, complies with the local housing code and can be built in one day.

It currently takes them eight months to build 100 homes at $6,000 a pop. If all goes right and New Story has its way, residents in the poorest communities of El Salvador, Bolivia, Haiti, and Mexico will have a safe place to call home.

Source: New Story

They can very well change the entire world. And the promise of 3-D printing technology to construct homes and buildings is, simply put, incredible.

It will create major advancements in affordability, building performance, sustainability, and customization.

“You could print a house in the shape of a Fibonacci spiral if you wanted to,” Jason Ballard, cofounder of ICON, explains. “It’s just as simple as printing a square.”

Source: YouTube Screenshot

The printing machine is called the Vulcan. It’s designed to work in places where electricity and potable water might not be available.

“Conventional construction methods have many baked-in drawbacks and problems that we’ve taken for granted for so long that we forgot how to imagine any alternative,” Ballard explains. “With 3D printing, you not only have a continuous thermal envelope, high thermal mass, and near zero-waste, but you also have speed, a much broader design palette, next-level resiliency, and the possibility of a quantum leap in affordability. This isn’t 10% better, it’s 10 times better.”

New Story hopes to print up a community of homes in El Salvador within 18 months through partnerships with cutting-edge materials and the highest standards for safety, comfort, and resiliency.

The original model of the home was completely printed on a 3-D printer, except for its roof.

The home includes a living room, small office space, bedroom, porch, bathroom and is absolutely adorable. Human workers installed windows, doors, plumbing and electrical systems. It will be used as office space for ICON until the design is perfected, according to Business Insider.

You can take a tour of the home and see it being built in the video below.
