Despite the constant advance in medicine there is still no cure for many illnesses and conditions such as cancer. We pray every single day for the people who are battling this disease to end up winners, but the fight is often a long and exhausting one and requires dedication and strong will.
Sadly, it affects young children too. Nine-year-old Steven Cotter from Oklahoma is one of them. This sweet boy was diagnosed with high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia when he was just six. Instead of being carefree and enjoy his childhood to the fullest, Steven had to spend a lot of time in the hospital and go through series of chemo treatments.
Luckily, after three long years, Steven and his family got the greatest news ever just a week ago. He was finally cancer free.
His mom shared the news via a video that she posted on Saturday, 14th December.
Even people who didn’t know Steven and his family personally took their time to congratulate the boy. They were all so excited for him.
“PRAISE GOD!!! Little man’s VERY LAST CHEMO!!! BIG TEARS OF JOY❤️❤️❤️” his mom wrote.
In the video, sweet Steven breaks down in tears of joy as he can finally leave his ordeal behind and start the new year as a healthy boy.
Speaking to ABC6 News, Steven’s mom said: “He’s had so many blood and platelet transfusions over the past three years, so many medications and hospital stays.”
He really couldn’t get a better present for Christmas.
Little children often leave us speechless with their knowledge on different subjects. It’s pretty incredible, especially because they know a lot of things that even grown-ups have no idea of.
This time, the host of some of our favorite shows, Family Feud and Little Big Shots, Steve Harvey, was left completely stunned by one of his guests at his show. Namely, Little Big Shots is all about prodigies who take our breath away with the skills and the incredible amount of knowledge they possess.
One would think that Harvey has seen it all, so the fact he was left in disbelief by what four-year-old Brielle Milla had to show on stage speaks a lot of this little lady.
At the start of her performance, Harvey and Milla got on stage bringing a skeleton with them. The audience had no idea what to expect, but then Milla showed off her expertise in the field of osteology, scientific study of bones.
Honestly, looking at her, one would assume she would perform a cute song or a dance routine, but as we all know looks can be deceiving and Milla proved that to be true once again.
Believe it or not, this lady knows every single bone of human’s body. And when we say that, we mean she knows a lot more than just the names.
The audience is eager to see what will happen when Harvey points to a bone and asks Milla to tell him what that bone is. Without hesitating even a bit, she says it’s the pelvis.
She then goes even further and says, “It’s the only bone in the body that’s gender-specific, which means that it’s different in boys and girls,” to which Harvey adds, “Is it?”
Lovely Milla confirms that and then puts her tiny hand over her mouth and says, “Yes. The pelvis’s job is to protect the organs used for digesting and reproduction, which means growing babies.”
Everyone is in stitches by this hilarious girl’s response and can’t help but clap without stopping.
The show goes on when Harvey asks about another bone. Milla rushes to answer it’s the human’s skull. “There’s 22 bones in the skull.” That’s truly impressive, isn’t it? I bet if you ask adults about this, most will fail to answer.
“Around the brain, there’s right tranial bones, and there are 14 facial bones.” This made Harvey say how Milla is the cutest kid he’s ever seen, and we simply have to agree.
The host thanks Milla for being part of the show and making it an awesome one. “You’re very smart, you’re very pretty, and you’re very polite.”
Milla proves this to be right by saying ‘thank you’ a couple of times.

Every baby’s first Christmas is a big deal for the parents because having a little bundle of joy in the house adds to the holiday spirit and somehow makes it more exciting and fun.
Two special parents decided to make their 4-month-old daughter’s Christmas one to remember. Although she won’t remember it as she’s very little, there are the photos and a video she can see once she’s all grown up.
We are absolutely certain sweet Summer Noel Feldman will have a lot to be proud of her when it comes to her dedicated and loving mom and dad.
Christmas won’t be complete without the familiar tune of “Jingle Bells” and this dad knows that all too well so he makes sure he records his own version of the song in his music studio holding Summer in his lap. The two created some awesome scenes that made us all go ‘aww.’
One of them features the lovely duo in front of a microphone, another one behind the keyboard, and there’s one where daddy holds the guitar.
It’s obvious little Summer is having so much fun around her creative parents. At one point, her mommy holds her and moves her around so it looks like Summer is dancing. The baby has a huge smile on her face as though she understands this is the special holiday edition of the family’s bonding.
As the song goes on, this cool daddy adds some special lyrics that are all about Jesus and his sweetheart’s first Christmas.
No doubt this little girl will have lots of fun around her parents in the years to come. It’s so great they make music part of her life since very little age.
Now it’s time for Summer to take her part in the song, and just as we though this couldn’t get any cuter, she starts singing in her baby language. But when daddy starts talking to her about the holiday, she seems to have it enough fun so she throws up.
Needless to say, people went crazy over the sweet video so it vent viral in no time after it was uploaded on YouTube.
We have to thank this amazing family for making our day a little brighter and we hope we’ll see more of them in the future.
This video is a reminder that we should cherish precious moments like this one because children grow up very fast.
Take a look at the joyous video below and make sure you share it with your friends.
It’s incredible how a 4-year-old girl could make the whole world go ‘aww.’ If you still haven’t seen the video of this cute toddler telling her adoptive mom how she felt when she first met her new parents than this is your chance. Millions of hearts were melted as the words were coming out of her mouth. We just can’t believe how someone so young is so good at expressing their feelings.
Gabby is so happy to be having a family that she feels like she has to share that with her mommy. We are so glad there is a video of the heart-bursting speech as I am not convinced that we would believe it if someone told us what this cutie had to say.
Gabby and her younger sister Lily were adopted by the Texas couple together and it added to the joy as it means the sweet girls can grow up together.
Her mom asked her how she felt when they were brought to their new home, but we don’t believe she was prepared for the thorough answer she got as it is too sweet to handle. “Well when we were born we became two little babies and then Lily was still a baby and I was 4 years old! I got so big and Lily was still a baby.”
“And when the time you see me I was four years old! And we were very excited to meet you and our daddy. And we love you guys and we want to be here for you and daddy.”
Mom is way too excited and tells her loving girl how she was eagerly excited to meet her and Lily to what Gabby says:
“Well, do you know what happened to my heart? Well, when I saw you, my heart fell in love with you.”
During the conversation, Gabby won’t ever speak about herself without mentioning her baby sister and it shows how considerate she is. We are so glad she and Lily are so happy with their new parents.
Michael Esmond, a business owner from Florida, knows all too well what it feels like not to be able to spend the most wonderful time of the year in a cozy place with a nice family dinner and lots of lights on. Why? Because during the roughest times of his life some 30 years ago when he struggled to make a living, he ended up celebrating one Christmas with his three daughters in a cold house without any electricity.
But now that he’s wealthy and able to help others he is making sure no other family from his neighborhood experiences such a cold Christmas this year. His generosity goes a long way and travels to 36 families of the Gulf Breeze community who are facing being left without electricity for the holidays. Michael paid their bills and they will now be able to celebrate Christmas the right way.
The season of giving is here. Michael Esmond paid off 36 families’ utility bills. He found out who was at risk of having their power turned off. He spent $4,600 making their holidays a little less stressful.
Speaking to CNN, Esmond said how his generous deed cost him around $5,000. He also said he’s happy to be able to help someone in need as Christmas is all about doing and giving.
Esmond added: “I actually lived that back in the 1980s. I experienced the same thing, having trouble paying bills. My gas was shut off, and we had no heating for the whole winter.”
“It was one of the coldest winters in Florida; temperature got down to the single digits.”
“That was definitely in my mind when I received the bill this year.”
People loved what he did and everyone was saying how special this man truly is.
Michael Esmond hasn’t forgotten what it was like having his gas shut off, with no heat for the winter, so the Florida business owner found out who in his community was at risk of having utilities disconnected and paid 36 families’ bills ahead of Christmas https://t.co/FPK7x1l1iM
“I got a great feedback on my Facebook page and business phone. People were texting me and calling me to thank me for what I had done,” he added.
“It made me cry. It made me cry,” Joanne Oliver, Gulf Breeze’s utility billing supervisor, told CNN affiliate WEAR . “For someone like him, a veteran to come in and do some grand gesture. It was heartfelt for me.”
The note that the members of those 36 families received is so touching that it melted our hearts. Imagine the joy on their faces after they were greeted with these kind words: “It is our honor and privilege to inform you that your past due utility bill has been paid by Gulf Breeze Pools & Spas. You can rest easier this holiday season knowing you have one less bill to pay. On behalf of Gulf Breeze Pools & Spas, we here at the City of Gulf Breeze would like to wish you and your family a happy holiday season.“
If only there were more kind and generous people like Esmond in this world.
This has to be one of those performances which leave an impression so strong that we can’t help but think of it long after we see it.
Thanks to the incredible marching skills of the high school students from Jefferson Davis Vols Marching Band not only the Magic City Classic Parade got a special touch, but it made the day of everyone who got to see it.
Honestly, it’s not every day that we witness such strong performance that has the ability to get people excited for the football match. It takes a lot of practice and dedication for something this stunning to happen, but it looks like there’s nothing these students wouldn’t do to level the heat up.
The rainy weather didn’t stop the crowed to carefully watch every move this marching band made as it was a real pleasure to the eyes. Led by the drum major, Justin Heideman, the students marched down the street and offered an incredible show.
Needless to say, the video of the marching spread all over the social media and 17-year-old Heideman says it resulted in him gaining 100,000 followers on Instagram in just a day.
“You really can’t help but see color. Everybody that’s not here with us on a daily basis stands out to them automatically. He is the first thing that they see,” said band Director, Brandown Howard.
Despite becoming sort of a celebrity in the country, Heideman, a.k.a “Vanilla Funk,” is humble and says how he’s not doing anything special except for his job of leading the band.
If you wonder why so much trouble like organizing a parade around a game it is because this event that is held every year at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama, is the time when the teams of Alabama A&M University and Alabama State University go head-to-head.
This rival match is something many are eagerly waiting for, and looking at the effortless and smooth moves these students have to offer, we know why they were invited to be part of the show. Great job young people!
An act of kindness by the friendly neighbors of one farmer got the attention of millions. When Larry Yockey from Ritzville, Washington was diagnosed with stage IV cancer, he was devastated. It meant he wouldn’t be able to harvest his crops that year as he had to focus on the treatments that would hopefully make him feel better.
His 1,200-acre farm requested a lot of time and energy to be harvested and Yockey didn’t have any of it.
However, when his neighbors learned of the sad news, they came up with this brilliant idea of stepping in and having his work done instead of him.

Speaking to KREM Channel 2, Yockey said, “The cancer has spread to my bones, so I have a broken hip and ribs.”
At first, he didn’t want to admit that he couldn’t do the harvesting all by himself, but eventually, he told all his friends of the severity of his health condition.
“I didn’t know whether I was going to be able to harvest like I did in years past,” Yockey said. “I finally had to tell them, ‘No.’”
These are a couple of the about 60 farmers that are helping a neighbor harvest his 1200 acre field. Larry Yockey was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and has been unable to harvest his field. So this team of neighbors is doing 3 weeks of work in about 6 hours. pic.twitter.com/ShTFopb904
Around 60 farmers from the region of rural Washington got together and made a plan on how to get the work done. Believe it or not, the whole field was harvested in just a matter of six hours. They used dozens of 18-wheelers and wheat combines. Mike Doyle, one of Yockey neighbors said how everyone involved was looking forward to be part of the work.

Yockey was amazed by what his friends did for him. It truly warmed his heart and made his day.
“It’s just awe-inspiring to see how fast these fields are evaporating now,” he said. “Just gratitude. It’s not describable the gratitude I have for what’s going on.”
The story vent viral and people from all over the country praised the kind people who stepped in for their friend in need. Three weeks worth of work was done in just a few hours and it left everyone in awe.
If only there are more people like these neighbors, the world will definitely be a much better place as life is all about helping and caring for one another.
Leaning a bunch of things by heart or learning how to be a better person than you were yesterday? What is more important?
Well, a school from Ireland opted for the letter and now everyone is speaking of their brilliant idea to ditch homework for a whole month and assign their students acts of kindness instead.
As the holidays are the time of giving and doing good, the Gaelscoil Mhíchíl Uí Choileáin, Clonakilty elementary school in Ireland are changing the curriculum and make their students show their kindness to those that need it the most.
The acts are expected to spread positivity and happiness around the community. Mondays are all about spending some quality time with the elderly members of the city. This is supposed to teach the kids compassion. They will also learn many new things and will hear fun stories.
Needless to say, the elderly enjoy the company of the little ones and feel important.
Every Tuesday of December is dedicated to helping around the house. The students can choose what to help with without their parents having to ask that from them. It can be simple chores like doing the laundry, getting the trash out, or cleaning.
funny kid girl helping with housework and cleaning wooden floor at home
On Wednesdays, students can choose their own act of kindness and help a random person or people.
As we all know that in order to help others we should first help ourselves, on Thursdays students are asked to take care for themselves.
On Fridays, students drop notes in the bucket of kindness placed in the school. Afterwards, some of those notes are read out loud. The goal is to make everyone feel better about themselves.
Every child is keeping a kindness diary where they write down the nice acts they do during the week.
“In this world, consumed by social media, where our young people are constantly experiencing pressure, there is no better way to show them the way forward in the world than by practicing kindness. We all know that helping others makes us feel good about ourselves…. What’s not to love about that?!? That feel good factor we experience form helping others cannot be quantified. Our message to the children is very simple: they can be the reason somebody smiles today and they can definitely help make this world a better place for others and for themselves.” The school noted on Facebook.
We really love this awesome idea and we hope more schools will follow this example.
Our hearts breaks into a million pieces whenever we come across stories of children getting injured while at school or kindergarten.
When we leave them there, we expect from their teachers and caretakers to pay close attention to their every move, especially when very young children are in question.
A mom from New Zealand, Milly Tusa, shared on the social media disturbing photos of her 4-year-old disabled son who sustained severe injuries while at the kindergarten. What’s most, his teachers didn’t think the incident was serious enough to alert the parents after it took place.
Sweet Masua Tusa who has cerebral palsy and experiences speech problems was terrified by the fall from the stairs while in his wheelchair.
“Is this what you would want to expect when picking up your child from kindergarten, leaving your child in the hands of the people you believe they will look after them?”
According to his mom, Manua’s injuries included “deep grazes where large patches of skin have been scraped from his nose, forehead and cheek.”
As for now, the work of the Manurewa West Kindergarten where Manua went is being investigated by the police and the Ministry of Education.
Speaking of the day of the incident Ms Tusa told Checkpoint that “she only heard her son was injured when she went to collect him as usual and was told by staff he’d tumbled down some stairs while strapped in his wheelchair.”
The parents were left outraged because none of the teachers took the time to call them and tell them about the fall right after it happened. They learned of it when they went to collect their son.
According to the staff at the kindergarten, the boy didn’t seem to be injured a great deal so they didn’t want to make a big thing out of it which made his parents even more angry.
“It was skin burns, raw burns on his face from the top of his eyelid down. He had scratches on the top of his lips and he had scratches on his nose.”
Manua refuses to speak of the incident because he’s way too scared.
“I’ve asked him a couple of times (about the incident) and all he says is ‘mummy, naughty teacher, mummy, naughty teacher’.”
His mom also said how he’s not coming back to the kindergarten again and is demanding answers.
This ballroom dance routine by the DUET Perm from Russia has to be one of the most mesmerizing you’ve ever seen.
The precision, the stunning choreography, and the undeniable energy brought to the dance floor left millions in awe.
Unlike anything we’ve stumbled upon so far, this group offered something truly unique starting from the choice of music. They opted for some of the greatest hits of the 90s and opened the show with Vanilla Ice’s “Ice, Ice, Baby,” danced through MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This” and Madonna’s “La Isla Bonita” and ended the show with Fun’s “We Are Young.”
The crowd couldn’t contain their excitement as the dance group seemed to fly over the dance floor in perfect harmony and showed impressive moves of samba, tango, waltz, jive and rumba. That is why many viewers were left disappointed because these dancers didn’t end up winning the competition.
This performance is definitely something you don’t want to miss. If it cheers you up, share it with your friends. Enjoy!
Kids are innocent and caring, and it looks like that as we grow older, we somehow lose these valuable traits. But the little ones remind us that we should always be there for those in need of a helping hand and words of consolations.
A video of a boy with Down Syndrome comforting his friend with autism has melted the hearts of millions of people who got to see it. It quickly spread all over the social media and many say how we should all look up to these caring friends.
One of the boys was crying uncontrollably, and the other one approached closer and offered his hug. He also wiped his friend’s tears away. The teacher who witnessed this heartwarming scene captured it and shared it with the rest of the world.
It looks like the healing power of the boy’s hug did magic as the autistic boy calmed down in a matter of minutes.
If only all of us were so compassionate this world would be a much better place, with less tears and more smiling faces.
Police in St. Petersburg, Florida released a photo of two women leaving Target after they stole the wallet of a 75-year-old lady. Based on their facial expressions and the huge smiles on their faces, the two thieves don’t seem to feel any regret because of their insidious act that outraged many.
It was reported that the women entered another store and purchased electronics and gift cards worth $5,000 using the elderly lady’s credit card.
Authorities are asking from the public to come forward with any information of who these thieves might be.
The incident took place in November 15.

Big families are a blessing, and the Radfords from Morecambe, Lancashire, know what it feels like to be part of one better than anyone else.
Believe it or not, over the 30 years that the two are together, Sue 44, and Noel 46, have 21 children, and baby 22 is on the way.
The number is overwhelming and most of you are probably wondering how they manage to raise and take care of so many kids, but the reality is that the family functions just perfectly.
The British Duggars have their own YouTube channel with more than 100k subscribers who follow their everyday life. It was there where they announced the news of baby 22 and many followers were truly surprised as the couple said how they were done having more children after baby 21 was born.
The family is running their famous pie company for 15 years and everyone is helping in the business.
When Sue was pregnant with their 9th child, they thought it was enough children and Noel even had a vasectomy, but shortly after, they changed their minds and next year the family is getting even bigger.
Three of their kids don’t live at home any longer as they have families of their own, so Sue and Noel are also grandparents to four grandchildren.
You already assume that the holidays in the house are busy and marry and involve a lot of presents under the tree.
The family lives in a 10-bedroom house and there’s plenty of space for everyone. There’s also a huge garden where the kids get to run around and have fun.
But, a huge family and a huge house means huge bills too. The family said how the average amount of money they spend on food and meals out each week is around $650.
But no matter the expenses, the Radfords always manage to save up for a nice family holiday. Mom Sue says that getting ready for such trips resembles a “military operation” but she still gets to fit everything in only seven suitcases. Just imagine that the laundry they produce every week is 39 pounds. A lot, don’t you think so?
As everyone loves this family, some people can’t get over the fact that when Sue and Noel had their first baby, she was just 13 years old, and he was 18.
Maybe it wasn’t such an issue back then, but thinking about it makes many of us feel awkward and a bit grossed to be honest.
The video of the pregnancy announcement is reaching one million views. You can take a look at it below.
Kindergartens and daycare centers should be the safest places for the little children, but sadly that’s not always the case. Stories of babies and toddlers left unattended is something we hear of way more often that we should.
The heartbreaking story of 6-month-old Zuri Rose Camara spread around like a wildfire after the owner of the daycare where she got injured refused to take responsibility of the incident.
That day seemed to be like any other as Zuri’s mom Anari Ormond dropped the baby at the J&A Nursery in Newark, New York. However, a couple of hours later Ormond got a call from the daycare center’s owner asking from her to come as soon as she could.
Ormond panicked as she had no idea what to expect. When she arrived at the center, the owner told her how Zuri was hurt because she was left “unattended around a 2-year-old boy.”
“She said in that time period of being unattended the boy ‘bit Zuri 3 times in the stomach,’” Ormond said.
Ormond didn’t want to listen to the bunch of excuses given by the owner and rushed inside to take Zuri.
“[The owner] began a story saying she went upstairs to get Neosporin and fell down the steps while holding my daughter and she was severely bruised,” the frustrated mother reported.
The sight of the little girl who was all covered in bruises and scratches was a horrifying one. Her face and body were swollen and it was obvious she was in pain.
“I was shocked and heartbroken,” Ormond told PEOPLE. “She was just sitting there. She wasn’t laughing or smiling.”
Ormond rushed Zuri to the St. Barnabas Hospital where she was told how the girl suffered a “mild concussion.”
“We went straight to the hospital. They did a CT scan of her head immediately just to make sure there was no head trauma. There was no internal bleeding,” she said.
Zuri was prescribed antibiotics but her bones were still very tiny for an X-ray to show whether she suffered any internal injuries.
“I felt so weak knowing that my baby is so helpless and couldn’t defend herself nor tell me what even happened. I’ve been feeling so defeated. I thought I was doing the best thing for her.”
The worried mother went to the police station to report the incident but the daycare owners didn’t cooperate. They offered many different stories that were away from the real truth.
Being aware of the impacts of the social media, Ormond took to Instagram to spread awareness of the neglect that takes place at centers where children should be taken care of.
Once the story took the attention of the wide public, the New Jersey Department of Children and Families released a statement to ABC7NY, saying:
“Our records do not show an operating license or registration for J&A Nursery in Newark. Please note that Family Child Care Homes are permitted to operate in New Jersey, without a license, if they are caring for five or fewer unrelated children. However, if programs wish to receive federal subsidies they’re required to voluntarily register with DCF and comply with applicable regulations. Providing care for more than five unrelated children requires a childcare center license, and operating without such a license may subject the operator to prosecution.”
Thankfully, Ormond’s efforts to clear the incident paid off as she got a message saying the place was closed and the owner was to appear at court.
The operator of the J&A Nursery, Lisa Muhammad, received citations for nuisances, failure to obtain a certificate of occupancy, failure to obtain a license, and failure to provide adequate doors for an exit. Her “nursery” which consisted of cribs and a playing area in her basement was closed in November.
At the moment, Ormond is doing her best to make criminal charges be filed against Muhammad.
That smoking affects humans’ health a great deal is something every smoker is very well aware of but they still continue to do so.
Despite the anti-smoking campaigns that they see on TV and in newspapers every day, smokers don’t have it easy to break off their addiction.
But a video that emerged recently and was labeled by many as “the best anti-smoking ad ever” left viewers in shock and horror. It shows the lungs of a life-long smoker and they are far away of what healthy and pink lungs look like. Instead, these lungs are completely black and all covered in tar.
The man whose lungs were harvested during the procedure had signed up to be a donor and now that he passed away at the age of 52 someone else was about to receive his lungs.
Unfortunately, they were damaged to the extent that they couldn’t be transplanted.
Doctor Chen Jingyu from the Wuxi People’s Hospital in Juangsu, China, posted the video with the hashtag “jieyan” which means quit smoking.
He also explained that after the donor was declared brain death tests were done which showed the lungs were in good shape. No one expected to see such damaged and inflamed organ whatsoever.
The donor was a heavy smoker who smoked a pack of cigarettes each day for 30 years.
UNILAND shared the doctor’s post which he initially uploaded to AsiaWire with the following caption:
“Many smokers in this country have lungs which look like this. Our team decided to reject these lungs for transplant. If you’re a heavy smoker, your lungs may not be accepted even if you choose to donate them after death. Look at these lungs – do you still have the courage to smoke?”
The number of Chinese people who smoke is roughly one quarter of the population over 15 years old.
However, because the number of people who are in need of lungs is huge, doctors are not in a position to turn down each smoker’s organs.
“We Chinese love smoking. It would be impractical to say that we wouldn’t accept the lungs of all smokers, but there are strict standards,” said Dr. Chen.
“…minor infections in the lungs and relatively clean chest X-rays are also acceptable. If the above conditions are met, we would consider transplanting the lungs,” he claimed.
Below is the shocking video of the blackened lungs. Watch with caution because it involves scenes of surgery.
Lyonswood Investigations & Forensics uploaded a video on their Facebook page recently and it caught the attention of many. Along with it, they asked whether someone could spot the crime caught on the camera at a convenience store.
Many were left in confusion by the skillful thief who tricked the cashier into believing that she gave him less money as a change.
The man, who was in his 50s, went inside the store to buy a pack of cigarette. But his initial plan, however, was to steal from the employee.
As he was waiting for the change, he was pretty anxious and wouldn’t stop fidgeting with his fingers because he was obviously concerned whether his trick will work or not.
After the cashier gave him the bills, he counted them in front of her telling her she made a mistake. She then gave him one more bill and he left the place.
Little did she know that he fooled her. Maybe it will take you a second look to realize what had really happened so in case you didn’t see what this man did look at the video again and see how he turns to the left a bit and puts one of the bills in his pants. But he does that so quickly that it’s unbelievable.
Apparently, this scam is called a short-change scam and it takes a lot of skill to be pulled through. So in case you are working at the register, always pay attention, because you may end up tricked this way.
Take a look at the act in the video below and make sure you share it with your friends.
Birthdays have to be the best part of every child’s life. These special dates mean lots of fun with the friends, birthday cakes, and lots of presents.
Gerald is a young boy who was eager to celebrate his 9th birthday with his classmates. His mom helped him with the invitations and they were soon handed in to every single student from his class, 30 in total.
This sweet boy didn’t have it easy in life as he had to undergo various surgeries to expand his skull when he was younger. Sadly, that had an effect on him and he’s now developmentally challenged, which doesn’t make him less excited to have a birthday party to remember.
However, his classmates don’t understand the challenges he’s dealing with and they are not as accepting as Gerald’s mom hopes them to be. They tend to ignore him and that includes not showing up at his party.
As the family was waiting for the friends to arrive and wish him all the best, none of them came. When Gerald’s mom called some of the parents, they had a bunch of excuses and one mom even said how she wouldn’t let her son be friends with Gerald because he’s too different. Needless to say, this broke the family’s hearts.
The poor boy was hoping to see his friends until the end, but that didn’t happen. Many of his family members came instead, trying to lessen the feeling of disappointment, but that didn’t really help a lot.
Amelia, Gerald’s grandma, was so furious that she wouldn’t just let this incident pass without notice. She thought she should share her grandson’s story on Facebook and raise awareness of how poorly children with certain disabilities are treated by the society.
She asked people to send her grandson best wishes because she didn’t want him to feel less valuable.
When asked how he felt when he realized his friends won’t show up, Gerald only gasped “sad.”
Thankfully, kind people from all over the world answered Amelia’s plea and soon Gerald was showered with so many gift that he couldn’t even count them.
But the best gift of all turned to be the one from the City Counsel. They learned how sweet Gerald loved dogs so they invited him to spend a whole day playing with their K-9.
Gerald was over the moon, he finally had a smile on his sweet face and all these people who stepped in wiped the sadness off his heart.
The parents of a child who has experienced exactly what Gerald had is now throwing a joint party for the two boys. We hope this time a lot of kids will show up.
Every parent wants their kids to turn into good people who will respect others and will become valuable members of their community. Many times, however, no matter how much they try to educate the youngsters to be polite and distinguish right from wrong, parents fail sometimes.
Cierra Forney, mom of 13-year-old Anthony, believed her son would never make fun of his peers, but as it turned out she was wrong.
One day she overheard him how he was laughing at one of his friends only because he was shopping at Goodwill. As it turned out, he though that buying cheaper clothes was humiliating.
Cierra was shocked because she knew she taught him better than that and decided to teach him a lesson he would never forget.
Since he believed that going to Goodwill was a bad idea, Cierra made him do exactly that. So she gave him $20 and told him to buy his clothes for the week from that store.
The best part of the story is that the money was his. He earned them hard and he was now about to spend them at the place he detested.
Cierra then took a photo of Anthony and shared it on Facebook along with the story behind it. People loved the way she handled her son’s bullying and said how she deserved the parent of the year reward.
The photo went viral in the blink of an eye. More than 778k people liked it and 169k took the time to share their thoughts.
This is Cierra’s original post that made many parents praise her for her parenting skills.
“So lately, my 13-year-old son had been acting a little… entitled. Acting like he’s too good to shop at Wal-Mart or making snarky comments about kids at school who shop at the goodwill and quite a few other things. I don’t tolerate that. Today, he took his own 20.00 to the goodwill to buy clothes to wear the entire week to school. Whatever he found is what he would have to wear. He isn’t happy and shed a few tears but I firmly believe in 15 years he will look back and laugh at the day his Mom made him shop at goodwill. I want to teach my kids that money isn’t everything and if you have to degrade other people because of where they shop, then you too will shop there. Side note, I love the goodwill!!”
“Don’t be spoiled, I might just tell them to be thankful for what you have,” Anthony told Fox 5 News, about the lesson he’ll share with his friends.
If we are about to fight against bullying as a society, we have to stand together and keep a close eye on what our children do and how they treat others.

Will there come a time when we finally understand that we have no spare planet and that we are suffocating in our own trash every single day. The global warming is a real issue and things are about to get much worse if we don’t take care of the trash and the waste we are leaving behind that kills many living creatures and contaminates the soil.
We stumble upon photos of animals and fish that die because plastic bottles, straws, and lids end up inside their bodies, and that’s a reality too harsh to bear.
However, we tend to forget one item that litters the Earth more than the rest of the plastic items; the cigarettes butts.
The volunteers at the Ocean Conservancy, that make sure beaches around the country and the world get cleaned, say how during the 32 years of work, they have picked up more than 60 million cigarette butts which is more than the rest of the plastic items combined.
One of the reasons why people dispose cigarette butts on the beaches, the streets, and other public places is because they believe their filters are made out of paper and cotton, which is far from the truth.
These filters are in fact plastic, or cellulose acetate, which takes more than a decade to decompose.
The reality is that cigarette filters don’t really serve the purpose smokers are convinced they do, which is filtering tar and nicotine.
“It’s pretty clear there is no health benefit from filters. They are just a marketing tool. And they make it easier for people to smoke,” Thomas Novotny, a professor of public health at San Diego State University, told NBC News. “It’s also a major contaminant, with all that plastic waste. It seems like a no-brainer to me that we can’t continue to allow this.”
Sadly, not much can be done regarding this type of pollution as the number of smokers is enormous and the production of cigarettes can’t really be controlled.
In the past, there were some ideas that could help the reduction of cigarette butts dumped irresponsibly, including that of a New York legislator who presented the legislation that would allow smokers to return butts to redemption centers for a rebate, but they weren’t accepted.
Thankfully, there are a number of non-profit organizations such as the Cigarette Butt Pollution Project that have their contribution in reducing the pollution by offering assistance to the local governments.
One fact that may change smokers’ irresponsibility regarding flicking butts is that the fiber and the chemicals they contain have been found in 70% of seabirds and 30% of sea turtles.
We humans are greedy and behave like this planet belongs to us only and often forget that our trash is destroying the life of millions of other living creatures, many of which are on the list of endangered species only because we pollute and ruin their habitats.
As around 137,000 cigarette butts are flicked on the ground every second by smoker from all around the world, they are very likely to end up into our gardens or sewers that lead to the local water supply.
The planet is suffocating in cigarette butts and we seem not to care about it a great deal.
If you still don’t understand the severity of the situation just take a look at this fact. Last year, 203 volunteers collected 120,000 cigarette butts in just three hours in Brussels.
If we want to preserve our only home, our planet Earth, the first thing we should do is get rid of the cigarette filters altogether as they serve no purpose at all, they just pollute the planet.
Take a look at the video below and next time you have a cigarette think twice before you flick.
Audra Eaker was ready to do for her son anything it took just to see him healthy and that included her readiness to give him one of her kidneys. The 13-year-old boy, Kincaid Eaker, was born with a chronic kidney disorder known as poly-cystic kidney disease which disables the kidneys to perform their function of filtering waste products from the blood they way they should.
Kincaid’s only way of continuing with his life is a transplant, which was supposed to take place back in 2016, but sadly that didn’t happen because his mother, who was a match, was shot dead by her husband Darrel Eaker on Christmas.
This shook the boy’s world. Not only he was left struggling to survive, but his biggest support in life was no longer by his side.
One person who is always by Kincaid’s side and helps him fights his battle, despite his grandparents who took him in, is his adoptive sister Olivia. According Brandy Love, Audra;s best friend, she adopted Olivia from China after she lost two of her kids, one at four weeks old and the other at 4 days old due to the same disease Kincaid has.
Now, Love who has started a GoFundMe page makes sure she does all in her power to help late friend’s boy get a kidney.
So far, sweet Kincaid has managed to survive thanks to the constant medical support he gets from the doctors who are working on his case. But the time is slowly running and something needs to be done asap.
Everyone hopes that a match will be found so that Kincaid lives. He’s still so young and has so much to give to this world. Don’t let us fail him and spread the word.
“I guess my plea to you is to consider getting tested for organ donation for Kincaid. The waiting list is very long for a deceased donor. The success rate for a live donor is so much better and faster,” Love explains on the GoFundMe page. “I feel that with the passing of my best friend this is what I can do to honor her life,” Love said.
As for the cruel man who took from Kincaid his mother and his chance of starting his life over, he was sentenced to life without parole. Someone inconsiderate like him can hardly be called a father.
Having two toddlers under one roof means constantly trying to keep your house from looking like a bomb went off. Running after them and making sure they don’t get hurt or get into a fight between each other can be tiring, and most moms would definitely agree, but we also have to admit that toddlers are fun to be around.
A mom of two, Breana Naylor of Queens Creek, Arizona, knows that the silence in the house speaks trouble. So, when she noticed it was quiet for some time, she just knew her 2-year-old daughter Kimberly and her 3-year-old brother Colt were up to something. And guess what? She was totally right!
Sharing her story with Mom.com, Naylor wrote:
“A few more peaceful minutes pass and I’m like, ‘Fine, I’ll be a responsible parent and check on my kids.’”
When she went to check up on them she noticed the two were hiding in the closet. She though they were just having fun time and decided to leave them alone when she suddenly noticed a lock of hair on the floor.
It didn’t take long before she realized that someone was getting the well-known ‘toddler haircut.’
Once she opened the door, she could see Cold holding the scissors and cutting his little sister’s hair while she was sitting still and waiting for her new hairstyle.
Naylor was glad the kids didn’t hurt themselves with those scissors and was quick to grab them from Colt’s hands. But what Kimberly was left with couldn’t be put into words.
“When I saw the damage, I just laughed,” Naylor told Mom.com.
The girl’s hair was a total disaster and it needed to be fixed.
Naylor then texted her hairstylists Jen Bullock whom she had an appointment with already, saying:
“Jen, forget about my hair, Kimber needs your help!”
It turned out that a new hairstyle was all sweet Kimberly needed as Jen worked her magic on her and not only fixed her hair but made her look stunning.
Kimberly now looks very stylish and her mom says how her new hair matches her personality.
“I’m not sure if Kimber realizes how rad she really looks. It’s as though her hair matches her spunky personality now, or maybe she’s more spunky because of her rad hair.”
Jen though she should share her little client’s photos with her friends not knowing that thousands of other people would love her work too.
I don’t know about you, but I believe that most police officers aren’t given the respect they deserve. They are the first to arrive when we are in trouble and make sure the members of their community are safe and sound at all times.
People sometimes get mad when an officer makes them pull over and asks for their licence and registration, but it’s their job to keep the traffic safe for everyone involved in it, and we have to understand that.
One thing we should never do when a cop stops us is make fun of them or use inappropriate language because that would definitely lead to getting ourselves in trouble.
But, it looks like no one warned this guy from the story to never mess with the police officers. This is what he had to say:
Yesterday I had a flat tire on the interstate.
So I eased my car over to the shoulder of the road, carefully got out of the car and opened the trunk. I took out 2 cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them at the rear of my car facing oncoming traffic. They looked so lifelike you wouldn’t believe! They are in trench coats exposing their nude bodies and private parts to the approaching drivers.
But to my surprise, cars started slowing down looking at my lifelike men. And of course, traffic started backing up. Everybody was tooting their horns and waving like crazy.
It wasn’t long before a state trooper pulled up behind me. He got out of his car and started walking towards me. I could tell he was not a happy camper!
“What’s going on here?’
‘My car has a flat tire,’ I said calmly.
‘Well, what the heck are those obscene cardboard men doing here by the road?’
I couldn’t believe that he didn’t know. So I told him,
When it comes to using the toilet there are some rules that everyone should respect. Putting the toilet seat down is definitely one of them. Well, it looks like that this ‘issue’ turned into an endless war between the male and the female world. So whereas women get mad with men for not putting the seat down, men don’t find that a big deal and simply refuse to listen.
Bradlee Rae Hayes is a three-year-old girl from Bedford, Texas, who hates stumbling upon a toilet seat up when entering the bathroom. But, her personality won’t let her pretend as it has never happened. In fact, she’s ready to confront her father and teach him some lessons on good manners.
The video of Bradlee stole the hearts of the whole country some three years ago, but it looks like we can never get enough of her, especially because the issue with the toilet seat is always ongoing.
“How many times do I have to tell you when you put the seat up and I tell you to put it down for me? Why do you keep doing that?” the little girl says.
Her dad thinks that leaving the seat up isn’t really a big of a deal and asks Bradlee why wouldn’t she just put it down if that bothers her so much to what she responds that he is the one who should do that, not her.
“I don’t want to [put it down], I just want you to do it.”
Seeing her coming up with some great arguments, her daddy Jeremiah won’t stop saying no just to make her speak more. And boy, we are glad he does that.
“Daddy, listen to me, when you’re done with the potty, you gotta put it down when big girl come in and need go… So you’re got to put it down for girls.”
Although he’s doing it wrong when it comes to the toilet seat, Jeremiah is a great parent who taught her young daughter to speak up when she comes across things in life which she believes are not fair and bother her.
Jeremiah told Caters News Agency how Bradlee tells him off every once in a while when she doesn’t agree with his parenting.
“This is her down to a T, as she is always letting me know when I am slacking,” he said. “If I am not doing my job as a dad properly she isn’t afraid to let me know. Especially when it comes to putting the toilet seat down.”
He even joked how he will never let women win the war over the toilet seat.
“Despite her recriminations, I will stand firm for all men in the great debate of whether or not to put the seat down.”
This girl is just awesome. She will definitely make your day.
Having kids is a real blessing, but everyone is pretty much aware that with them around things can be tough at times. I don’t think there is a single parent out there who hasn’t wished for the ground to swallow them up when their little ones decide to throw a tantrum at a public place. I guess you are smiling as you are reading this if you are a proud mom or a dad of a little kid, aren’t you?
One mom found herself in such situation where she wasn’t able to calm her noddy and misbehaving child, but luckily, there was someone on the plane who could.
As a crowded airliner is about to take off, the peace is shattered by a 5-year-old boy who picks that moment to throw a wild temper tantrum. No matter what his frustrated, embarrassed mother does to try to calm him down, the boy continues to scream furiously and kick the seats around him.
Suddenly, from the rear of the plane, an elderly man in the uniform of an Air Force General is seen slowly walking forward up the aisle.
Stopping the flustered mother with an upraised hand, the white-haired, courtly, soft-spoken General leans down and, motioning toward his chest, whispers something into the boy’s ear.
Instantly, the boy calms down, gently takes his mother’s hand, and quietly fastens his seat belt. All the other passengers burst into spontaneous applause.
As the General slowly makes his way back to his seat, one of the cabin attendants touches his sleeve.
“Excuse me, General,” she asks quietly, “but could I ask you what magic words you used on that little boy?”
The old man smiles serenely and gently confides, “I showed him my pilot’s wings, service stars, and battle ribbons, and explained that they entitle me to throw one passenger out the plane door on any flight I choose.”
