FedEx driver is arrested in the abduction of a 7-year-old girl who went missing outside her home this week, police say

Athena Strand, the 7-year-old girl who had disappeared from the driveway of her Texas home and was reported missing earlier this week was found dead.

Her lifeless body was recovered Friday evening, according to police representatives.

Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin said at a news conference, “It hurts our hearts to know that child died. It’s one of the toughest investigations that I’ve been involved in because it’s a child. And anytime there’s a child that dies, it just hits you in your heart.”

The search for Athena was an excessive one. Sadly, it ended tragically and officials believe the girl was killed within an hour of her kidnapping.

The person charged for this monstrous case is 31-year-old Tanner Lynn Horner, driver working for FedEx. At the moment, he is being held in Wise County jail on capital murder and aggravated kidnapping charges. The bond has been set at $1.5 million.

Allegedly, it was an anonymous tip which led authorities to Horner, who is believed to have been delivering some goods to the Strands when he spotted the girl.

Maitlyn Presley Gandy, Athena’s devastated mother, wrote in a Facebook post that her girl was taken from her family by “a sick, cruel monster for absolutely no reason.”

Further, this heartbroken mom wrote, “I cannot describe the pain and absolute anger I feel. Missing her doesn’t cover how I feel,” along with a video of Athena when she was 3. “I want the world to know my baby, my first baby, my first true love, the reason I breathe.”

“Athena is innocent, beautiful, kind, intelligent, and just the brightest, happiest soul you could ever meet. I don’t want her to be the girl known as the one murdered and discarded by a monster,” she added. “I want everyone to know, every single person in this world, that this is my baby and my baby was taken from me. I want everyone to know her face and her voice and just how wonderful of a person she is.”

Authorities revealed that the girl’s body has been transferred to the medical examiner’s office as the case of her death remains under investigation. Further, it has been revealed that Horner didn’t know Athena or her family at the time he abducted her and later killed her.

Gandy expressed her gratitude to everyone who was involved in the search of her daughter, who she said dreamed of becoming a Viking princess with tattoos, just like those of her dad, and loved wearing pink.

“As a mother, I know no one is as broken as I am…

“It takes a special kind of person and whether a child is yours or not, working crime scenes involving children are hard,” she added. “Thank you for finding my baby. I know everyone wishes this would have ended differently.”

FedEx, the company Horner worked for, issued a statement regarding the tragedy. “Words cannot describe our shock and sorrow at the reports surrounding this tragic event. First and foremost, our thoughts are with the family during this most difficult time, and we continue to cooperate fully with the investigating authorities,” and directed further questions to law enforcement.

Rest in peace little girl, you will never be forgotten.

Donald Trump called the media 20 minutes after Barron Trump was born

Despite being the son of one of the most famous business moguls in the United States, Baron Trump has spent most of his life out of the spotlight, just as his mother Melania Trump has wished.

However, as much as she tends to keep Baron out of the public eye, the truth is that the media and the wide public are interested in his private life.

Barron was born in 2006, the same year when Donald and Melania tied the knot. He grew up in the Trump Tower in Manhattan, where he is reported to have an entire floor for himself. Although he has lived surrounded by luxury, he never had a traditional nanny while growing up. Instead, Melania took all the care of him, and that included preparing him breakfast and lunch every day.

In the past, she spoke of him as a very creative child. In a 2015 People interview, she said: “Barron is 9 years old. He needs somebody as a parent there, so I am with him all the time as you know my husband is traveling all the time.”

“We keep it down to a minimum,” Trump added. “If you have too much help, you don’t get to know your children.”

They let his creativity grow and never limit him when it comes to his interests. Speaking to Parenting, as quoted by Metro, Melania said: “In his space, the décor style of the rest of our home is mixed with what he is into: planes and helicopters.

“We let him be creative; let his imagination fly and do whatever he wants. Whatever he wants to do with his own room later on, he can do it. Whatever he wants to do with his own room he can do it. He draws on the walls, we can paint it over.

“When he was smaller, he started drawing on the walls,” she added. “His imagination is growing and important. He draws on the walls in his playroom, we can paint it over. One day he was playing bakery and he wrote ‘Barron’s Bakery’ on the wall with crayons. He is very creative, if you say to a child ‘no, no, no,’ where does the creativity go?”

As we all know, Melania is of Slovenian descent so it doesn’t come as a surprise that Barron speaks fluent Slovenian. When he calls his maternal grandma, the two always speak in Slovenian.

Currently, Barron is in his second year at the prestigious Oxbridge Academy.

Back in the day when Barron was born, Donald Trump did something unconventional. Just 20 minutes into the world, the former president alerted the media that he became a father for the fifth time.

As reported by several newspapers, he called MSNBC’s long-running radio show “Imus in the Morning,” hosted by Don Imus, to reveal the great news.

“Everyone’s perfect,” Donald Trump, who was 59 at the time, told Imus.

“I continue to stay young, right? I produce children, I stay young,” while Melania’s website posted that the baby weighted in at 8 1/2 pounds and was 21 inches long.

Girl abandoned at birth for her looks wants to prove the world wrong – she now models for Vogue

Albinism is a rare inherited life-long condition that occurs worldwide across all races and ethnic backgrounds. It results in decreased production of a pigment called melanin in the skin, hair, and eyes, resulting in light color or no color. Sadly, people with the condition are often seen as different and are stigmatized, especially in underdeveloped countries.

A girl with albinism was born in China some 16 years ago, and when her parents saw her snow white skin, they decided not to take her home. Sadly, the little one ended at an orphanage just days after she was born. This sounded horrible, and the staff at the orphanage, who named her Xueli, which stands for snow white and beautiful, felt sorry for her. However, little did they know that she would be adopted by a loving family from the Netherlands who would provide her with a beautiful life.

When she turned 11, Xueli was discovered by a famous Hong Kong photographer who asked her to be part of her campaign featuring different people, all beautiful in their own way.

“She called the campaign ‘perfect imperfections’ and asked if I wanted to join her fashion show in Hong Kong,” Xueli Abbing said in an interview with the BBC. “That was an amazing experience.”

In some parts of the world, it is believed that the bones of those with albinism have medical powers so it happens for some of these people to be disfigured and their fingers, arms, or legs to be cut off.

Knowing this, Xueli says she’s lucky she was only abandoned.

Once the photos of her were posted on the social media, a photographer from London took Xueli under her wing and helped her get on the cover of Vogue Italia magazine for its June 2019 issue.

“At the time, I didn’t know what an important magazine it was and it took me a while to realize why people got so excited about it,” this beauty recalled.

“There are still models who are like eight foot two and skinny but now people with disabilities or differences are featured more in the media and this is great – but it should be normal,” she said in the interview.

“Maybe because I cannot see everything properly I focus more on people’s voices and what they have to say,” she said in an interview. “So their inner beauty is more important to me.”

Xueli is doing all in her power to help raise awareness about the people with albinism.

“I want to use modeling to talk about albinism and say it’s a genetic disorder, it’s not a curse,” she says. “The way to talk about it is to say ‘a person with albinism’ because being ‘an albino’ sounds as if it defines who you are.

“I’m not going to accept that children are being murdered because of their albinism. I want to change the world,” she added.

We are so glad there are people as this 16-year-old beauty out there who teach us that it is the differences that make this world a beautifully colorful place.

He was in the car with his wife and two kids, but he went out to shovel snow off the front of the car when tragedy took place

Sashalynn Rosa, a 23-year-old mom of Passaic, New Jersey, and her one year old son died in a tragic incident of carbon monoxide poisoning after snow blocked the tailpipe of their car as they searched for a parking place. 

As severe winter and blizzards hit the east coast several years ago, Sashalynn and her family were on their way home when her husband, Felix Bonilla, left the engine of the car running as he went to grab a shovel in order to get rid of the snow at the parking place.

According to officials, Felix opened the car’s door around 11 minutes later, but Rosa was already dead, as well as little Messiah, while the 3-year-old daughter was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition.

“It’s hard to lose them like that,” Felix Bonilla Sr, the baby’s grandfather, told ABC news. “The doctors say they don’t think she’s going to make it. Doctor says she has a slight chance to make it.”

If a tailpipe is blocked, just in this case, carbon monoxide, which is a lethal colorless, odorless gas, seeps into the car and replaces oxygen in the body’s vital red blood cells when breathed in.

“They were staying warm while the father was shoveling the vehicle out,” Detective Andy White said. “It’s a tragic incident,” he added.

Neighbour Isabel Carmona spoke to Chanel 7 about the tragic incident, saying, “I know that the boy don’t have life because he’s like this and I try and try, and my nephew tried, and premedical tried, those people worked so hard.

“I tried to help the girl and I put my mouth on the girl’s and paramedics worked so hard to save that kid.”

Unfortunately, tragedies of this type are more common that we even assume.

Baltimore Mayo Clinic came up with possible preventive measures of carbon monoxide poisoning. They believe that sleeping areas should have carbon monoxide detectors and the batteries should be changed twice a year. They also advise people to always leave their garage door open when staring their car and never leave it running.

Keep all engines and equipment that burn gasoline thoroughly ventilated and never operate a generator in the basement or garage or use gas stoves or ovens to heat your house.

We are so very sorry for this family’s tragic loss. May they rest in peace.

Proud dad makes many angry after posting photos of his 14-year-old at work

Chris Crawford is a father of a 14-year-old son. Recently, the boy started working at Burger King and Chris couldn’t be prouder so he decided to post on Facebook, writing, “HUGE shout out to this kid of mine, 14 years old and has a PT job at Burger King, not only does he work every day he can including weekends when most kids are out enjoying their summer he goes in early and stays late almost every time he works, he loves every minute of it. Making his own money, saving for a car, being responsible in his decisions, becoming a respectable young man!!! I couldn’t be more proud of him! Some of y’all lazy, grown ass people out there should take notes!!!”

Little did this father know, however, that his post would anger many of his Facebook friends.

Apparently, not everyone loved the idea of such a young boy being behind the counter as they believed he should be living his childhood to the fullest instead.

There were also those who stood by this father’s side and said he indeed had a lot to be proud of.

Although it depends from state to state, in general, the minimum working age in the United States is around 14 years old, for non-agricultural jobs. The number of hours is also restricted, and it is usually around 15 hours a week. Children under 18 are no allowed to work in fields involving hazardous professions.

This might be one of the reasons why many criticized Chris who wrote that his son has been working seven days a week.

According to him, the boy loves his job and he could be seen smiling while working and wearing his uniform.

Meghan breaks down in tears in trailer for new documentary series ‘Meghan & Harry’

The trailer for the much anticipated documentary featuring Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is finally here, and from what it shows, we are likely to witness yet another dispute between the Sussexes and the Firm.

Available on YouTube, the trailer starts with a slideshow of photos of the Duke and Duchess taking a selfie, their wedding day, and separate photos of the two from the time they were young until this very day.

The video gathered over 1.9 million views in just 24 hours and everything indicates that something huge will be revealed in the documentary that will be released on Netflix.

Many believe that the timing for the trailer wasn’t the most suitable one because it overlaps with Kate and William’s visit of the States. The Prince and Princess of Wales are attending the Earthshot Prize Awards in Boston but there are no indications whether the brothers and their spouses would see each other. Many believe that even though sources claimed a family meeting is likely to take place, the trailer might change that.

Speaking of the documentary, a Netflix spokesperson said, “In an unprecedented and in-depth documentary series, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex share the other side of their high-profile love story.”

At the very beginning, Harry could be heard saying, “No one sees what is happening behind closed doors. I had to do everything I could to protect my family,” while Meghan, who was showed wiping tears at one particular moment, says, “When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?” 

Most royal experts condemn the Sussexes for going public about the issues they have with the rest of the royal family, claiming these all-tell interviews during which accusations are brought are something Harry and Meghan should be ashamed of.

“Here it is, the day before Prince William and Catherine’s big royal event in the USA. Bitter Prince Harry and Meghan,” royal expert Richard Eden posted on Twitter.

“I’m appalled by the trailer for Prince Harry and Meghan’s Netflix reality show – and so are Prince William and Catherine’s inner circle,” he added.

“Right on cue, Harry and Meghan drop the trailer for their victimhood fest on Netflix. Shameless,” GB News presenter Dan Wootton said. “Meghan has already destroyed the Markles. Now Harry is trying to destroy the Windsors. Small mercy that the late Queen doesn’t have to live through this.”

The documentary comes after the news of Harry’s new book titled Spare.

According to reports, the upcoming memoir which has been a talking point for quite some time now, will likely create new tensions as Harry is apparently planning on focusing on the rift between him and William, as well as his strained relationship with his father, the King of England.

The publishing company Penguin Random House that will release the memoir claims Harry’s all-tell book will be an “accurate and wholly truthful” account of his life.

“Prince Harry will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him,” Random House said in the press release, teasing the book as an “honest and captivating personal portrait.”

The name of the memoir, Spare, might address Harry’s “spare” role as the second son of a King, or that maybe he is being “spared” from the Royal Family now that he has left, Harper Bazaar speculates.

“It’s juicy, that’s for sure,” a NY publishing source shared with Page Six.

“There’s a lot of new stories in there about the past that Harry has not spoken about before, about his childhood … there is some content in there that should make his family nervous,” another publishing insider added.

Further, the magazine reported that Harry has been paid $20 million upfront by Penguin Random House.

According to royal expert Angela Levin, Harry and Meghan are perfectly aware that their documentary, as well as Harry’s book, would anger the members of the Firm and that might be one of the reasons why they allegedly declined the invitation to spend Christmas in Britain and honor King Charles who is hosting the event for the first time as a monarch.

“It’s been said that they’re not coming but it [is] also I think on what the documentary is like whether or not they would be invited at all,” Levein told The Sun.

“It could be a case where the royals don’t want them there after the documentary.”

What’s most, Levin says that Charles, Camilla, and the rest of the royals “want to make it a very positive day after the Queen’s death and I think the Sussexes presence would most certainly dampen that.”

“I think will be a huge relief for the rest of the family.”

Having a dark skin and vividly blue eyes, the sweet boy looks incredibly adorable. But what makes him even more special is the white patch of hair just above his forehead and a white line which spreads to his face and resembles a light-striking.

When a video of this boy was first shared on TikTok by user Raoul Tsasa, it caused a stir and everyone was eager to learn more about him. However, except for the videos and a couple of photos, not much is known about him. No information regarding his name, age, or place of living has been provided.

Many users of the social-networking site commented on the videos which have been seen millions of times.

One person wrote, “I see a storm cloud upon his head, lightning down the center of his face between two bodies of water, his eyes.” Another said, “He looks so unique. He shouldn’t struggle to be a great actor. He already stands out among the crowd.” Third added, “He is a masterpiece of beauty.” Honestly, we can’t agree more.

User Jamie La Chaky shared his suspicions about what could have been the reason behind this boy’s striking looks. “I believe he has Waardenburg Syndrome,” he wrote.

This syndrome represents a group of genetic conditions characterized by varying degrees of hearing loss and differences in the coloring (pigmentation) of the eyes, hair, and skin.

The actress was once referred to as ‘America’s Sweetheart’

Being a versatile actress with a number of films under her belt, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Renée Zellweger stood out yet again with her performance in The Thing About Pam.

The film, featuring Zellweger as Pam Hupp, consists of six episodes based on the murder of Betsy Faria in 2011. The one person convicted was Faria’s husband who claimed he was innocent the entire time. Further, the plot revealed a brutal crime set off a chain of events that exposed a devilish scheme deeply involving Pam.

Zellweger offered a brilliant performance which truly shined when real life photos and footage of Pam Hupp appeared over the closing credits.

“That was something that we really wanted to do to show the real life Pam and hearken back to all these moments in our series where we reflected her costume, her mannerisms. You can really see how transformative Renée was in her physicality, in her carriage, in her cadence,” show runner Jenny Klein said.

Zellweger herself spoke of the role and the transformation she has undergone for the sake of the role which received positive critics. “This woman was convicted of murder, but I find myself siding with her and curious as to what brought her here.

“After playing this character, my perspective on these issues has shifted.”

The Oscar winning actress is no stranger to drastic transformations, something we have witnessed before with her iconic role of Bridget Jones in Bridget Jones’s Diary, as well as in Judy.

And now speaking of her recent project, The Thing About Pam, the actress shared with Vanity Fair what it took to prepare for the role regarding the physical appearance.

“It was pretty much head to toe. It was prosthetics, it was a [padded] suit, it was the choice of clothing, it was the briskness in her step-step-step, her gait,” she shared. “All of those things were really important because all those bits and pieces are what construct the person that we project our own conclusions and presumptions onto.”

“From a creative perspective, it seemed like a really interesting story to tell,” Zellweger shared with People. “As an actress, a really interesting character to play, an unusual person, something that I’d never done before. As a storyteller, it just seemed like a great opportunity to explore the why and how around a case like this.”

Steve Harvey crashes on his show during this surprising section

Birthdays are those special celebrations which remind us that we completed another ride around the sun.

However, not many people love big parties and pomps. Instead, they tend to celebrate it with their inner circle of family and friends.

However, when you are famous, especially if you are one of the most famous hosts and comedians there are, this isn’t always possible.

Some years ago, when great Steve Harvey had his birthday, he reminded everyone that he didn’t want anything big. Well, it turned out that the staff working with him on his shows didn’t listen.

They came up with an incredible idea and Harvey loved it so much that he simply couldn’t stop tears from running down his face. He didn’t care if people would say that grown men don’t cry because the moment was so emotional he simply couldn’t contain himself from expressing his feelings.

While on the show, he read the following lines out of the telepromter, “Calling in by satellite from Orlando. Let’s see who it is.” Reading the word Orlando, Harvey stopped for a while because it reminded him of the times he resided there at the very start of his career when his life was unstable and nearly crumbling down.

He somehow knew who he was about to see.

As a man showed on the screen, Harvey got emotional.

“Hello, my name is Rich Liss and I’m calling to wish you a happy birthday,” the man said, to what the host replied, “Hey, man. Man, I love you.”

Rich then tells Harvey there is someone else who wants to see him and Harvey immediately guesses it’s Becky, Rich’s wife.

Rich, Becky, and Harvey go way back when young Harvey was struggling and these two people offered him a contract, some money, and helped him get back on his feet. Years later, Harvey still hasn’t forgotten how generous and loving they were towards him.

Seeing the video, people took their time to comment saying Harvey’s tears just show how kind and genuine he is as a person.

“The fact that Steve Harvey is a public figure and is all over the place and they never tried to reach out just shows they did what they did out of the kindness in the heart and they did it with 0 expectations of anything in return. I hope they’ve stayed in contact and still talk, that’s the true definition of family right there,” one person wrote. “Steve Harvey is one man who never forgot where he came from and always gives back,” another added.

Simon Cowell sparks concerns with appearance as fans ‘don’t recognise him’

When it comes to music talent shows, Simon Cowell is the first name that comes to mind. He’s considered one of the strictest and most harsh judges, but his experience in the music business and industry gives him all the right to tell contestants the truth about their performance on the stage of American Idol, America’s Got Talent and The X Factor.

His scathing critical remarks became sort of trademark on the shows and people can’t wait to hear him judge the way only he can.

Some of the music names we have Cowell to thank for are Westlife, Little Mix, Leona Lewis, Olly Murs, Fifth Harmony, and Il Divo.

However, over the years, Cowell has made headlines because of his appearance which changed to the extent that fans say he’s unrecognizable.

In a video in which he calls on people to audition for the next series of Britain’s Got Talent, Simon looks so strange that his looks caused concerns.

“Simon Cowell brought to you via Nintendo Gamecube it seems,” one person wrote. “Ya wouldn’t think he had work done at all. Flawless,” another added.

“What have you done to your face?!?!” a third asked in the comments section under the video.

This isn’t the first time for fans and people to get concerned over Simon’s physics. Many believe that he used too much botox over the years and it’s a sad, sad thing that the music genius doesn’t resemble his old self any longer.

On a very cold night, a rich man met a homeless old man outside

Whether or not we keep the promises we give to others speak of the kind of people we are. Sadly, sometimes it happens that we fail to do what we promised to and even if that doesn’t feel like a big deal to us, it can break someone’s heart and make them lose faith in humanity.

The following story is an example that we should never give a promise unless we are 100% sure we can fulfill it.

One day, a rich man spotted an elderly homeless man sitting in the cold. He felt sorry so he decided to approach him.

“I see you don’t have a winter coat, you’re not cold?” The old man starred at him for some time and then replied: “I don’t, but I’m used to it.” The rich man, surprised and saddened by the answer he received, said to the homeless man, “Wait for me! I’m going into my house now and I’m going to bring you a thick coat to keep you warm at night.”

The elderly man was over the moon. He couldn’t believe someone found the time to do a good deed for him.

Unfortunately, once he went home, the rich man forgot about the homeless. He only remembered the promise he gave the following morning and quickly rushed outside to give the coat to the poor man. Sadly, it was too late. The elderly man wasn’t there, instead, there was a note which read, “When I didn’t have thick clothes, I had the strength to fight the cold weather, because I was used to it, but when you promised to help me, I attached myself to your promise and that took my strength to resist.”

The man had died, and that crushed the rich man’s world.

This story is yet another reminder that our promises should be sacred and we should never broke them because they can mean the world to those in need.

Jon Provost AKA Little Timmy from ‘Lassie’ celebrates his 72nd birthday and he’s aging like a fine wine

Actor Jon Provost, who started his Hollywood career at the age of just three when he was cast as Jane Wyman and Sterling Hayden’s son in the film So Big, will forever be associated with the heroic Rough Collie Lassie.

The series ran for 17 seasons and it even made a transition from black and white to color during the ’60s.

Jon joined the series at the top of season four when he and his family adopted the much-loved dog.

Today, Provost, who played the sweet little boy Timmy Martin, is 72 years old but he still recalls the time he filmed the series and the bond he had with the three different dogs who played the role of Lassie, one of the most famous TV dogs there are.

So how did Provost found himself under the spotlight at such a young age?

Well, it turns out that his mother brought him to his first ever audition when he was still a toddler because she was a huge fan of Jane Wyman and hoped to get a signed autograph from her. Luckily, they got a lot more when Provost was cast for the role.

His parents weren’t in any way associated to the world of entertainment as his father was an aeronautical engineer.

”My parents weren’t Hollywood people. My father is from Alabama and my mother is from Texas,” the child actor explained.

“I didn’t have an agent, I got one and that led to more movies like The Country Girl with Bing Crosby and Grace Kelly. I did about 12 movies before I started ‘Lassie,’” he told Fox News.

Provost added, “I did the show for seven years, 249 half-hour episodes. I worked with three different Lassies. The last dog I worked with, I worked with him for five years alone.”

“We grew up together. For five years, we saw each other five days a week and sometimes on weekends.

Speaking of how smart and how well-behaved the dog was, Provost confessed jokingly, “The actors made more mistakes than the dog. They were more of a problem.”

Once the show was over, Provost went on to stare in other films, but he eventually left Hollywood.

Michael Bublé breaks down in tears over son Noah’s health issues

Loved by millions, Canadian-born singer Michael Bublé reached worldwide fame back in 2005 with his album It’s Time and his 2007 album Call Me Irresponsible, which reached number one on the Canadian Albums Chart, the UK Albums Chart, the US Billboard 200, and several others.

Over the years, the Grammy Award winner has sold over 75 million records worldwide, but despite the enormous fame he enjoys, he has stayed grounded.

Michael is married to Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato with whom he has four children.

The couple’s son Noah, who will be 9 this year, has gone through an ordeal when he was diagnosed with liver cancer at the age of just 3.

At the time the singer heard the devastating news, he was promoting his ninth studio album Nobody But Me. It was shortly before performing at The One Show on BBC One in London.

“Three minutes before I came on, my wife texted and told me something was wrong,” he said during an interview with U.K.’s Evening Standard in July 2018, and added, “I just died.”

Luckily, Noah is now in remission, but Bublé described the ordeal as “the worst possible thing that you could hear as a parent, and as maybe a human being.”

“I much rather would have it have been me. Many times I wish that it had been,” the musician said and added that the experience made them even stronger as a family and gave them a new outlook at life.

On Noah’s eight birthday, Bublé shared an emotional post on Instagram, writing, “Today my hero turns 8. I’ve never met anyone as brave… I’ve never known anyone as kind or as good-hearted… and I’ll never truly be able to express how proud I am, or how deep and profound Mommy’s and my love is for you. You’ve blessed our lives in every way.”

Along with the touching message, the musician shared two photos of him and Noah over the years.

Bublé said that the prayers they received by fans, friends, and strangers helped them in their battle against the cancer as a family.

Queen Elizabeth’s Christmas speech was the ‘final straw’ for Meghan and Harry, according to authors

With Harry’s memoir being in the process of making, all eyes are on the royals yet again.

According to the publishing house Random House, the book which is about to be released in the weeks to come is eagerly anticipated by the media and the wide public.

In a press release, they stated, “Spare takes readers immediately back to one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow and horror.

“With its raw, unflinching honesty, Spare is a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief.”

When Harry announced his book, he said, “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born, but as the man, I have become. I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”

“I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a first-hand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”

One might say that what the book is about to reveal will further ruin the bridges between Harry and his family, and although no one knows with certainty what the prince will communicate, several outlets reported the book will reveal a number of bombshells.

As of now, the family, just like any other out there, is getting ready for the celebration of Christmas. During the years, they have celebrated the holiday with family gatherings hosted by the Queen herself. However, now that she passed away, it is the new monarch, King Charles, who would be hosting the Christmas celebration.

US Weekly reported that the Prince and Princess of Wales are keen on celebrating the most magical day of the year with their family at Sandringham. This is because they want to give their three children a yearly family tradition.

“It’s important to them that their kids share childhood traditions like their school pals,” the insider told Us Weekly in 2018.

“They’re going all-out to make it extra special.”

They, however, would certainly attend the formal dinner on Christmas Eve, often including Norfolk shrimp and lamb.

The morning, as per tradition, is reserved for a classic English breakfast consisting of eggs, sausages, bacon, and beans. 

Following the traditional visit to St Mary Magdalene Church, the royals have their Christmas lunch, the main course of which being a roast turkey.

As mentioned before, this year’s celebration will be hosted by King Charles. At the same time, after 70 years, he would give the annual speech for the first time ever as King.

And as the public is eager to tune in, royal experts believe that Harry and Meghan won’t be among those who would listen to what the King has to say as they have already allegedly declined the invitation to spend Christmas with the royal family.

Another reason would be that according to experts, it was such a speech, delivered by the Queen in 2019, that was the final straw which made the Sussexes step down from their royal duties.

When the Queen addressed the nation during the speech in question, there were plenty of photos of each member of the family in the background, but not Meghan’s or Harry’s. This was interpreted by many as a sign that the Sussexes weren’t considered a fundamental part of the family. At the time, the couple had already started transitioning to a non-royal life. But ‘photo-gate’, as it was dubbed in a number of tabloids, was the final nail in the coffin.

Authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand of the biography Finding Freedom claim that Harry and Meghan felt like they “had long been sidelined by the institution and were not a fundamental part of its future.”

“One didn’t have to look further than the family photos displayed during the Queen’s Speech on Christmas Day,” they wrote.

“Palace sources insisted that the photos were chosen to represent the direct line of succession, but for Harry and Meghan, it had been yet another sign that they needed to consider their own path.”

Allegedly, before the speech, Queen Elizabeth removed a photo of Harry and Meghan, but left one showing her and Prince Philip meeting Archie for the very first time.

“(The queen) loves all of her children and grandchildren, there’s no doubt about that,” he told Today. “But when it comes to ‘The Firm,’ as they call the royal family, she is all business,” author Christopher Andersen wrote.

“That’s why she wouldn’t allow Harry and Meghan to remain as kind of part-time royals on the terms that they wanted.”

Chumlee from Pawn Stars arrested and facing many years in prison

Reality shows become more and more popular with each passing day. Some of these look for talented individuals to become part of the world of entertainment, others offer home makeovers and self improvement. But there are also those which feature everyday people doing everyday things, such as pawning items for money. One such show, which became extremely popular over the years, is Pawn Stars.

The show first aired over a decade ago and featured Richard “Old Man” Harrison and his family, who ran the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop on the outskirts of Las Vegas. Sadly, Old Man passed away, but his son Rick Harrison took over both the shop and the show.

As it gained popularity, people became familiar with those working at the shop, among which Austin Lee Russel, or better known as Chumlee, the chubby guy who has made many laugh.

While on the show, Chumlee also expanded his own business Chumlee’s Candy Shop, where he sells candy, clothes and different accessories. At the same time, he managed to lose a significant amount of weight.

However, no matter how fun and loving he is, Chumlee isn’t your typical good boy as he has been getting in and out of trouble many times.

Recently, it has been reported that police was called to investigate a case of sexual assault at Chumlee’s home where they discovered 12 firearms, a kilo of marijuana, and a small quantity of methamphetamine.

According to reports, he’s planning on taking a plea deal on the charges of illegal drugs and weapon possession.

Chumlee will be given three years of probation and he must surrender the items the police found on his Las Vegas property during the raid.

According to Fox News, if he remains trouble-free during the time given the criminal prosecutions against him will be dismissed.

As of the reported sexual assault, no charges were filed against him although he was forced to pay $62,000 bail when detained.

David Chesnoff, Chumlee’s attourney, said in a statement that they would evaluate the findings and the legality of the search in court. “I and Austin Russel both have great faith in the justice system and are optimistic that the case will be decided properly.”

History Channel refused to comment on the situation.

According to sources close to the reality show star, he has a reputation for throwing ‘crazy’ parties.

8-year-old breaks down in tears getting his own bed after years of being homeless

Many times in life, we take things for granted and don’t realize how blessed we are for having food on our table, a roof over our head, and family and friends to turn to when we need it the most.

Sadly, we only start counting our blessings when we witness something bad taking place or when we lose something we once loved.

Daeyr Neely is just 8 years old, but he has gone through many struggles in life.

When he was still just a toddler, Daeyr’s mother lost her job and had a hard time making ends meet so they ended up on the streets. After many failed attempts, they finally managed to move into a shelter home with the intention of receiving help from the government to secure housing for them.

Getting used to the life at the shelter wasn’t easy for Daeyr. The change affected his performance at school and he felt insecure. “He started to have a little trouble in school, once we moved to the shelter. But I explained to him that we had to do this in order to get our own home,” his mother told Spot Light Stories.

It took quite some time, but the family finally received a home to call their own.

However, although they now had a house, they still missed almost all of the essentials, including beds, so Daeyr was forced to sleep on a pile of blankets.

When their story spread around the new neighborhood, staff at the organization Humble Home heard of this family and decided to step in. With their help, the house started feeling like home.

Among the rest, they got a bed for the young boy and his reaction was priceless and worth all the effort at decorating the place.

The video of Daeyr realizing he has a bed to sleep on is so touching, it brings tears of joy.

At first, he has his hands over his eyes, but once he sees his new room, he can’t hide his excitement and hugs the person standing nearest to him.

Sweet Daeyr received a bunch of toys and other furniture, something he hadn’t had until that very moment.

Now that they have a roof over their head, mom Dionna can focus on her nursing school.We truly hope she would be able to find a nice job and start her and her son’s life over.

There is an unexpected detail on Lilibet Diana’s birth certificate

The British royals make one of the most famous families in the entire world, and as such, it doesn’t come as a surprise that their personal lives are of great interest to the wide public and the media.

Finding themselves under the scrutiny of the media and the paparazzi was one of the reasons why Harry and Meghan decided to part from Britain and settle down in the sunny California. For one, Harry did all in his power to protect his wife and not let her go through the same ordeal his mother was forced to go through when it came to the media.

When they decided to step down from their royal duties, which angered many, especially Prince William and King Charles, the Sussexes decided to stop using their HRH titles. However, it looks like they didn’t do that, and the birth certificate of their second child, daughter Lilibet Diana, shows exactly that.

Lilibet Diana, who has been named after both her grandmother and her great-grandmother, was born at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California, on 4 June 2021 at 11:40 PDT. While Lili’s name has never been formally styled with a title, at the time of her birth she was entitled to use the courtesy title “Lady” before her given name as the daughter of a duke.

Recently, The Sun reported that according to Lili’s birth certificate, which they got to, Harry designated himself as ‘His Royal Highness.’

 He listed “Duke of Sussex” as his first name and “His Royal Highness” as his last name.

According to the newspaper, although Meghan and Harry said they won’t be using the HRH titles, they have never actually been taken away from them.

Meghan on the other hand decided not to follow any protocols and listed her full legal name.

On her son Archie’s birth certificate, however, the former Suits star identified herself as “Rachel Meghan, Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Sussex.”

Marie Osmond’s biggest heartbreak

Marie Osmond, the only girl among the eight brothers, joined the group Osmond Brothers when she was just four. She, however, wasn’t a regular during the group’s television performances through the 1960s. At the age of 12, Marie started her solo career and had her first recording session which she later described as terrifying. “It was a full orchestra and rhythm section. I was the only Osmond girl, what if I failed?” she told Daily Mail in 2015. “So I threw up! Then I went in and sang.”

Marie, just like her mom, had many children. She was married three times, twice to the same husband, basketball player Steve Lyle Craig. The two had one child, son Stephen Jr. With second husband Brian Blosil, Marie had two biological and five adopted children, making her a mom of eight.

She and Brian lost son Michael to suicide in 2010. Her fans were surprised to see her getting back on stage just weeks after the tragic incident.

Speaking to Fox in 2013, she said, “It was so hard for me to get back on the stage two weeks after he died but I had to show my children that I chose to live. It was very hard and we talk about it, that’s the other thing. I know there are other families that won’t talk about it. Just as much as I lost a son, my children lost a brother and they still need to process it.”

Marie recalled the moment she learned of her son’s passing. She had just finished a performance at the Flamingo Las Vegas when she got a call from her security guard back home. He told her that some people from the Coroner’s office were there to see her.

“I knew it was Mike,” Marie told Oprah later in an interview.

Michael was one of the five children Marie and Brian adopted when they were still together.

Brian died by jumping from his eight-floor apartment. He struggled with drug addiction from the age of 12 but managed to stay away from it with the help of his family. In the note he wrote before taking his own life, he explained that he battled depression for some time.

“[He] was probably the easiest child of all my kids. He was so fun. And cute. And darling. It wasn’t until my son started using drugs that I saw him change.”

She recalled that he called her the day he died and sounded upset.

“It was the first time I heard him start to cry and say he was alone. That he had no friends. That he felt despair,” Marie revealed. “I told him: ‘Mike, I’m going to be there Monday, and it’s going to be okay.’ But depression doesn’t wait till Monday.”

Marie went on to speak of her own struggles with depression and said she managed to overcome it thanks to her age but “children don’t have that kind of age behind them… When they’re 18, everything [seems] hopeless.”

“I think there’s always ‘what ifs.’ What if I had just put him on a plane and said come be with me, or gone there?” I think if you live life in ‘what ifs’ … you stop living,” Marie said.

We are so sorry for Marie Osmond’s loss.

No matter how much time passes by, the grief over the loss of a child never fades away.

Chuck Norris is fi-ghting for life – Prayers needed

Over the years, martial artist Chuck Norris has enjoyed enormous popularity. He even became a synonym of strength and attracted millions of fans from all over the world.

He holds black belts in Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu jitsu and judo and is the founder of the discipline Chun Kuk Do, an American hybrid martial arts style based on Traditional Taekwondo styles such as Tang Soo Do/Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo.

Besides being a huge part of Hollywood, he is also a family man and a father of five. He and his wife Gena O’Kelley, a former model, have been together for over 22 years. What we love about Norris is that he never misses a chance to remind Gena, as well as all of us, how much she means to him.

Back in 2013, Chuck lost his father to cancer and he’s been fighting the disease in his own way ever since by raising awareness and speaking openly about it. He has served as a proponent of early diagnosis and prevention of cancer and travels the country speaking to organizations about the significance of being examined regularly. 

At the same time, Chuck’s everyday life is a struggle because of his wife’s illness.

 According to the couple, it all started when Gena went for a routine MRI scan in 2013 and received an injection that is a standard process before someone enters MRI scan. At that same moment, she started experiencing tremors and burning all over her body. Her condition was hard to diagnose as doctors themselves have no idea what could have caused that awful burning sensation.

The biggest issue is that doctors’ were unable to diagnose her and had no idea what could have caused the symptoms which became worse and worse.

“Within hours after the first jab, I felt like my whole body was on fire — as if acid had been passed through it. The burning was isolated at first, but it just kept spreading… I just lay in bed on an IV for five months and had to have round-the-clock nursing care. Chuck slept beside me on the couch and never left. I prayed that I would live to raise my children,” she explained.

Fans of the actor shared messages of support.

“Nobody knows how much time you have left with your loved ones. So go for it, Chuck Norris. Enjoy every moment and make unforgettable memories with your partner. God bless you,” one person wrote.

“My prayers are with you, your wife, and your family.  I’m hoping nothing gets in the way. Godspeed to everybody. Never give up. Please let her be okay, I beg God. Your wife is lucky to be with a man of such moral character. Good luck and take care,” another added.

“Chuck, I just wanted to let you know that I will be praying for you and your gorgeous wife. I hope everything is going well for her and you! Realizing you are the good man you seem to be is amazing,” a third person commented.

As of Chuck’s health, he hasn’t been experiencing major physical issues. Rumors are, however, that back in 2017, he suffered two heart attacks after he collapsed at a casino hotel.

Gena watched in horror as medics hurriedly restarted Chuck’s heart with a defibrillator during the attack which caused his his heart and breathing to stop for several seconds before he was stabilized.

According to the source who shared the news with Radar, “This would have easily killed most men half his age, but Chuck is still at the peak of physical fitness.”

We wish Chuck and Gena end up winners in the fight for her health.

Meghan Markle called out for knowing how to cry out of her left eye after Duchess confesses she ‘does it well’

The name of Meghan Markle made plenty of headlines over the years and the media is still interested in every step she makes. From the moment she started dating Prince Harry until this very day all eyes have been on her. Many accuse her of dragging her husband away from his family, but there are also those who understand their decision to step down from their royal duties and settle down in California.

After Queen Elizabeth’s passing, Meghan was yet again a hot topic among royal experts. One of them, Today anchor Karl Stefanovic, who doesn’t hide the fact that he’s not fond of the former Suits star, implied that pictures of Meghan wiping away tears might be misleading.

As he covered the Queen’s funeral for Today, anchor Stefanovic made fun of Meghan for crying at the funeral.

“There’s been lots of photos around and interpretations of photos and reading into photos [meanings] that may or may not be true,” Stefanovic said.

“‘There’s a couple of Meghan, um, with a tear running down her face – apparently – and also even one of Princess Charlotte that everyone was saying she was crying, and we don’t know if it was true or not.”

Well, Stefanovic is far from alone in suggesting that Meghan’s crying wasn’t genuine.

Royal expert Angela Levin, who is the author of a number of books about the British royal family, says that it is not coincidence that Meghan shed tears from her left eye.

Levin recalled a 2014 interview involving Meghan Markle in which she could be heard saying that she can force herself to cry whenever she wishes. “Oh I can do that so well!” Meghan said when asked if she can cry ‘on demand.’

“Meghan managed an artificial tear or at least I think it was,” Angela Levein told TalkTV.

“She said the one thing she’s learned is how to cry out of her left eye. Count to four she said to the person and watch me and a tear came down. Not all actresses can make tears.”

Of course, there are also those who believe Meghan’s tears were genuine.

Jonathan Sacerdoti, royal commentator, referred to the accusations against Meghan as ‘unfair,’ while body language expert Adrianne Carter said it’s not easy to decided whether Meghan cried for real or not.

“Meghan certainly knows that tears would be spotted and photographed,” Carter said.

The former Suits star never answered back, she only spoke of her relationship with Queen Elizabeth and claimed the two were very close.

“There’s been such an outpouring of love and support. I’m really grateful that I was able to be with my husband to support him, especially during that time. What’s so beautiful is to look at the legacy that his grandmother was able to leave on so many fronts,” Meghan told Variety.

No matter the true reasons behind the Megxit which has shaken the grounds of the relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the royals, royal experts believe that things are about to get better, or maybe not.

Apparently, Charles continued his mother’s tradition of gathering the entire family together for Christmas and Harry and Meghan were invited but they declined the invitation.

According to royal author Katie Nicholl, the Sussexes prefer to stay in sunny California.

“Christmas is always a really special time for the Royal Family where they traditionally come together,” Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight.

“That has always been at Sandringham and my understanding is that King Charles is going to follow his mother’s tradition and host a family Christmas at Sandringham this year.

“Harry and Meghan have been invited for Christmas but it’s our understanding that they won’t be coming over to the UK, they will be spending the holiday season in California.”

Chip Gaines remembers the terrifying incident with his son when he understood the cost of fame

Most people are attracted to reality shows. Whether it is some sorts of survivals, discovering music talents, or dancing, the truth is that these shows are very popular.

Now, if you are a fan of both reality shows and home design and renovations, you are likely a huge admirer of Fixer Upper. With Chip and Joanna Gaines running the show, it attracted a huge audience throughout the five seasons it aired.

However, this couple that we all love so much isn’t only famous for their renovating skills, but for their hearts of gold too. Over the years, they have donated money to charities on many occasions and never miss a chance to ask from the public to do the same.

Back in 2019, following a visit of St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, Chip and Joanna donated $1.5 million.

But for the writer of No Pain, No Gains, being a celeb made him reconsider his way of living after an incident involving his son took place.

“When I came to the realization that fame had essentially taken over and consumed my entire existence, it was a bit of a sad moment,” Chip started his story.

The family was at a flee market one day and their son, Duke, went ahead of them but he was still nearby. However, that’s when a crowd gathered around Chip and Joanna wanting to take photos with them.

“We had clearly reached the point in our careers when we were recognizable in public, so the experience had started to feel a little bit routine for us. However, at that same moment, I sort of lost the connection with Duke,” Chip explained.

“And so I was basically on my way to kind of gobble him up and get him back into a safe place, and at about that same second, I was surrounded by this group of people,” he added.

“It was sort of a disturbing series of events only because I realized at that moment I wasn’t able to communicate accurately that I was actually a desperate father trying to get my son into a safe place, but at the same time kind of trying to resonate with these people and trying to not be rude and all the things that we struggle with in a typical situation,” he said.

Chip got the feeling that being a celebrity robbed him of his identity.

“But it was a bit of a shock to me, and I would honestly say that it pushed me into a spiral where who I was in this well-known scenario really overshadowed who I was as a father and as a human,” he added.

“And in some of the major life decisions you have to make in these situations, it sort of forced me to consider whether or not all of this was worthwhile.”

In 2021, the Gainers’ show Fixer Upper: Welcome Home made a comeback on Discovery+.

Irene Cara Sad News – Sending prayers

Irene Cara, the singer and actress best known for her title tracks in the early ’80s films Fame and Flashdance died age 63.

Irene was a recipient of an Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Grammy award.

Irene’s passing was announced by her publicist Judith Moose who wrote that the singer/actress died in her Florida home but the reason behind the tragic event remains unknown.

“Please share your thoughts and memories of Irene,” Moose said in a tweet. “I’ll be reading each and every one of them and know she’ll be smiling from Heaven. She adored her fans.

“She was a beautifully gifted soul whose legacy will live forever through her music and films.”

Irene was born in New York City in 1962, and she first dazzled audiences when she was just five years old. She had an immense talent for singing, dancing, and acting and appeared both on stage and TV, including Johnny Carson’s The Tonight Show at a young age during the 1970s.

Over the years, she appeared in a number of on-and-off Broadway musicals as well as films such as D.C Cab, with Mr. T, and City Heat, in which she starred alongside Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood. Irene became an icon of her generation.

Among those who paid tribute to her life and work was actor Lee Curreri, who starred alongside her in Fame. He posted a black and white picture of Irene on his Instagram page, accompanied by a heart emoji.

Rest in peace, Irene.

Al Roker shares Thanksgiving Day update as his ‘Today Show’ co-anchors carry on the parade without him

After being hospitalized because of blood clots doctors found in his body, Al Roker, the longtime anchor of the Today show, posted an update regarding his health condition.

On Thanksgiving Day, he shared a photo of him at the hospital and wrote how he recovered.

Sadly, after many years of co-anchoring the Thanksgiving Parade, Al Roker missed this year’s event and watched it on TV instead.

The famous weatherman said in a video, “Alright, this is my version of the Thanksgiving Day parade. Getting ready to leave the hospital, time to blow this taco stand! Woohoo!” as he was walking out of the hospital.

“Yay Al!!!! Love love this video!!! Parade was not the same without YOU!!!” Hoda Kotb wrote in the comments! “Yasss!! Now we are especially thankful for you too!!! And all those doctors and nurses who took care of our dear one!” Jenna Bush Hager added.

Later, he posted another update, a photo showing him with his thumbs up at home, watching his co-workers carry on the tradition without him for the first time after 27 years. “Back home in time to catch a little bit of the #macysthanksgivingdayparade Missing being next to @savannahguthrie and @hodakotb.”

This isn’t the first time for the TV personality to experience health issues. Two years ago, he revealed he’d been diagnosed with prostate cancer and had to have an organ removed. On top of it, he had undergone several surgeries to help him with his hip and knees issues.

Roker, who has been working in broadcast since the mid-’70s, has won a number of prizes over the years for his newscasts. Despite experiencing plenty of health issues, he was able to complete the Brooklyn Half Marathon just six months ago. 

He still hasn’t revealed when he will be back on his show.
