When you see someone for the first time what attracts you to the person is their physical appearance. Over time, as two people decide to be together and get married, the way they look doesn’t really matter, as they understand that what makes them fond of their other half is their partner’s inner beauty and how they make them feel. Once we realize this is what we need to feel complete, we actually understand true meaning of love.

However, there comes a time in people’s life when they come across someone new whose beauty enchants them and make them forget about their partner who was by their side for bad and for worse.

No matter if you are married or not, you should take a look at the following story.

When I got home that night as my wife served me dinner, I grabbed her hand and said “I have something to tell you.” She sat down and ate quietly. I watched and saw the pain in her eyes. Suddenly I did not know how to open my mouth, but I had to tell her what I was thinking: “I want a divorce”. She did not seem upset by my words and asked me softly, why? You’re not a man?

That night we did not talk, and she cried. She wanted to know what was happening to me.

It was something with our marriage, but I could not answer what exactly. It happened that she had lost my heart, and I had another woman named Joan. I no longer loved my wife, but I pitied her. With a great sense of guilt, I wrote a divorce agreement and with this agreement she got the house, the car and 30% of our business.

She looked at the agreement and threw it away. She spent 10 years of her life with me and now we were like strangers. I pitied her, for all the lost time, energy was not the same but it could not change. I loved Joan. Suddenly she started screaming. The idea of divorce was now clearer to me.

The next day I came home and I found myself writing at the table. I did not eat dinner and went to sleep, I was very tired having spent the day with Juana. When I woke up, my wife was still writing at the table. I did not mind, I turned around and continued sleeping. In the morning my wife introduced me to divorce conditions: She did not want anything from me, but needed a month’s notice before the divorce.

She asked me for a month, we would have to live as if nothing happened. Her reason was simple, our son had whole month of tests and she did not want to bother him with our broken marriage. I agreed, but she had another request: to agree upon me carrying her to our room like the day we got married. I thought she was going crazy, but that this alone was accepted.

My wife and I had no physical contact since I expressed my intention to divorce, so when I took her to the front door the first day, we both feel bad. Our son walked behind with clapping and saying: Dad is carrying mom is his arms! His words gave me a lot of pain.

I walked the 10 meters with my wife in my arms. She closed her eyes and said quietly: do not tell our son about the divorce. Then I went to work. I drove alone to work. The second day, we were both more relaxed.

She leaned against my chest, I could feel the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I had not looked at it carefully. I realized she was no longer so young, had some wrinkles, some gray hairs … that was notable a damage of our marriage. For a moment I thought and I ask: what was it I did? The fourth day, I felt some affection was returning between us. This was the woman who gave me 10 years of her life. In the fifth and sixth day, it continued to. I said nothing about Joan.

Every other day it was easier to carry my wife and month was running. I thought I was getting used to her weight. One morning, she was looking for what to wear. She had tried many dresses on, but all of them were too big. It was then that I realized she was very thin, and that was the reason that I did not feel her weight load. Suddenly I realized that I had provoked much pain and bitterness.

Without realizing it, she touched my hair. Our son entered the room and said, Dad, it is time that you take Mom to the door! For my son, seeing his father day after day carry her mother to the door, that had become an essential part of his life. My wife hugged him, I covered my face. I was afraid I changed my thinking about divorce. And holding my wife in my arms to the door, it felt like the first day of our wedding.

She stroked my neck soft and naturally. I held her strong, just like our wedding night. I hugged her and did not move, but she was so thin and that made me sad. The last day I just hugged her and did not want to move, I told her I did not realize that we had no privacy. Our son was at school. I drove to the office, I left the car without closing the door, I climbed the stairs, Joan opened the door, and I said, excuse me, sorry, I do not want to divorce my wife.

Joan looked at me and asked me if I had a fever. I said:

My wife and I love each other, it was that we were doing everything as a routine and boring. We did not value the details of our life since I started carrying her to the room. Joan began to mourn, slapped me and closed the door. Going down the stairs, I went in the car and went to the florist.

I bought my wife flowers. The girl in the florist asked me what to write on the card? I told her to put: I will carry you every morning until death parts us. I arrived at my house with flowers in my hands and smile, and ran up the stairs; when I went … I found my dead wife. My wife was battling cancer, and I was so busy with Joan, so I did not realize. My wife knew she was dying and that is why she asked for a month’s notice before the divorce, so that our son will not have bad memories of divorce.

At least in my son’s eyes, the memory of his father who was a good husband who loved his wife will stay. These small details are what matters in a relationship, not the house, the car, the money in the bank. All this only creates an environment that you think will lead to happiness, but really … is not. Try to keep your marriage happy, share this story on your wall, you may be saving a marriage. All the stories of failure are equal; they give up when they are about to enter to success. We do not know what we have until we lose it…

School principal’s snow day video goes viral

Being a school principal means having a lot on your plate. Just think of all those teachers who are constantly complaining of their busy schedules and the misbehaving students, and all those kids who many times prefer having fun during lesson time than do actual studying. I guess it takes a lot of nerve to cope with all these things. That is why one really cool principal decided he deserved time for himself after the regular lessons were cancelled due to a snow storm. Once he found himself all alone at the school building, principal Sean Martin put his camera on and got ready to paint the town red.

He sang in the cafeteria, shot hoops in the gym and even performed a quite interesting dancing routine in the halls. He knew the video would make his fellow colleagues laugh, although the janitor didn’t find Martin’s antics amusing and decided to chastise him.

Martin didn’t plan on the students watching him goofing around, but the video somehow ended in their hands. Needless to say, they all agreed their principal is a cool guy who knows how to have fun.

Martin told The Baltimore Sun:

“I figured people are starting to feel a little stir crazy, and I thought our staff and community would appreciate a lighthearted perspective about what goes on in school during snow days.”

Tiny 2-yr-old bakes a cake in cute cooking show

Apparently, there is a new chef in town and we feel like we should warn Gordon Ramsey and the rest of the cooking masters how they should pay really close attention to this cute platinum blond guy who possesses some killing baking skills. The best thing about chef Roman aren’t his sweet cookies everyone would want to taste, but the fact that this prodigy is only 2 years old. And yes, if this makes you feel disappointed because your skills in the kitchen are not even half as good as that of little Roman, you are not alone.

He started cooking and baking when he was really young. His mother, Ayla Belville is a great cook herself and has her YouTube channel where she posts videos of her preparing delicious dishes and baking cool cookies. Roman enjoyed watching his mother do magic at the kitchen counter and that’s how he fell in love with mixing up ingredients.

Once you see the video of him baking a cake you’re going to get overly excited when we tell you this is not the only one. Chef Roman already has his own cooking show. This time, however, he’s baking his first ever cake, wearing a child-sized apron, because let’s get honest, little kids are messy, although we are a bit surprised of how this cutie pie keeps things neat and tidy. Along with the video, Roman’s mommy wrote: “Say hello to a new series called ‘Roman’s Cooking Corner’! I hope you enjoy watching it as much as he did making this cake!! If you have any future recipes you’d like to see Roman make, be sure to comment below!!”

The way Roman speaks and explains the steps of the recipe, using clear, yet childish voice and words will definitely put a huge grin on your face. He calls out the ingredients he needs and resembles a surgeon asking his nurse for the instruments, and we do believe he does his baking with surgeon’s precision.

Before he starts his tutorial he says the sweetest “Hello!” and I guess it’s more than enough for him to make you fall in love with his bubbly personality.

During his cooking he always makes sure to taste every ingredient, just to be sure everything is in perfect order.

The fun thing about Roman is that not only we all love him, but he really loves himself too. Halfway through the video, right before he puts the cake into the oven, he stretches his tiny arms towards the came and gives his body a big squeeze. We understand you Roman. No one can resist your charm.

Once the cake is out of the oven little Roman gets to decorate it. And as you already assume, that’s the part he enjoys the most. He does it using lots of sprinkles. And as he mommy says: “I let him do what he wants to do, whether it’s licking the batter or dumping the whole bottle of sprinkles on.” We love how she lets him do things on his own and doesn’t care about the mess he makes in the kitchen because kids learn best by doing.

This chef doesn’t even wait for others to “judge” his baking skills as he already knows how the final result is so perfect and yummy. He gives himself a thumb up and is happy with his delicious cake. Who wouldn’t want a bite of this masterpiece?

People take the time to comment and praise his cooking and baking skills with one person writing, “This is a 2 year old baking a cake I can’t even cook noodles on a stove properly.” Others say how Roman saying “please” and “thank you” during the entire video is even sweeter than the cake itself.

Fan impresses Michael Buble when asked to sing at concert

If there is an artist out there you have to see only once in order to call yourself a true music fan, than it has to be Michael Buble. He isn’t just a singer, but an all-around entertainer who makes the classic hits we are all so fond of sound out-of-this-world. His amazing vocal abilities along with his charming appearance make him one of our favorite musicians who packs huge concert halls and arenas all around the world.

During his performances, he often invites a fan from the crowd and lets them sing a song. The concert he held at the Infinite Energy Center, Duluth, GA wasn’t any different. Only this time, the guy he chose to invite on the stage left Michael amazed. It turned out that Andrew Zarrillo from Houston, Texas possesses some crazy vocal skills too. As he later said, he and his girlfriend got upper deck seats but were upgraded to floor seats at the last minute. Well, it was obviously the best thing that could happen.

Andrew recalls how his favorite singer was talking about kindness as the tune to Frank Sinatra’s hit “Fly Me To the Moon” could be heard filling the crowded arena. In the next moment, Andrew could see the mic being handed to him, and boy he was happy to grab it.

“I wasn’t nervous because I didn’t have time to be nervous,” Andrew said.

Michael asked Andrew whether he needed help to which he answered “No, I’m fine. I got it.” Once Andrew let his voice loose, the audience quickly figured out this wasn’t any random guy performing, but a singer who knew what he was doing. Michael himself stood at the background cheering and encouraging the crowd to do the same. The best part was when Andrew turned to his girlfriend Amanda and kissed her as he lyrics “in other words, baby, kiss me” were on. What a gentleman.

Andrew’s performance did resemble those of Michael. Crooning such a huge hit, he brought sweet smiles on everyone’s face. Amanda knew she had to put this once-in-a-lifetime chance of singing along Michael on tape. We could also see Michael singing and dancing while listening to his fan.

The ending was truly impressive as Michael congratulated Andrew on his amazing performance. He even got a bunch of high-fives from the fans. This really was a very special night Andrew and Amanda would never forget. It’s not every day that you get to perform with your most loved singer.

Girl teased for clothes she wears is blindsided by classmate

Middle school is supposed to be the best period in the life of a child. It’s the time when kids make new friends who are luckily for life, and have fun hanging around with classmates. Well, at least some of them get to experience these things, as there are also those who go through real ordeal while at school because of the mean bullies. It’s a sad fact that bullying is present in many educational institutions and the staff are either not aware of it, or have no means of coping with it.

Haley Olsen is a seventh grader who comes from a pretty huge family. She has six siblings and her parents have hard time making ends meet. This means neither Haley, nor her brothers and sisters can afford to be bought fancy or expensive clothes so they usually wear hand-me-downs. Unfortunately, this is enough reason for her mean peers to make fun of her and make her school days a living hell.

Before you go to this lovely girl’s story let us tell you there came someone in her life who changed all this and brought the smile on Haley’s face.

Many times, Haley would come home with tears in her eyes, telling her parents she’s done going to school. She told Fox 10 Phoenix:

“I always came home crying and stuff to my parents saying how I didn’t want to go to school anymore, I wanted to be home schooled.”

Then, out of the blue, an angel disguised in the form of a sweet teen decided Haley had it enough and stepped in for her. Mariah Andrew goes at the same school as Haley, Atkinson Middle School in Phoenix, Arizona, and she could witness how the poor girl felt whenever her schoolmates bullied her. What Mariah did for her new friend is truly amazing. She turned Haley from a victim into a queen.

Maria had a huge surprise for Haley. One day, she went home and choose her best clothes and shoes and gave them to her friend. After seeing all those cool stuff, Haley was over the moon and couldn’t contain her excitement. The grateful teen said:

“I was jumping all over the place screaming how happy I was.”

This story of the new friends who made huge impact in each other’s life was soon spread among the rest of the students which resulted in many others reaching out to Haley too. Sonoran Smile Orthodontics offered their services for free.

Haley and Mariah are now closest friends and each other’s support. Having one another in their life they know they always have someone to rely on. Doing such kind deed for her friend made Mariah proud of herself.

“It made me feel happy at first and the day that I gave it to her, I was trying so hard not to cry.”

Now, not only students treat Haley with respect, but they became aware of how their behavior affected the girl’s life. Mariah inspired many to become better people by encouraging them to always step in for someone in need of help and support.

Police officer signs off after 25 years of service with final call to dispatcher daughter

Not many people opt for doing the same job all their life. The reason behind this might be because they get bored easily or they are simply not that passionate about what they do. There are also those who enjoy their profession so much they would never pursue a career in a different field. The latter is the case with two amazing officers at the Sarasota Police Department.

One of them is Andrew Jenkins. Believe it or not, this devoted man spent 30 years serving the community, and the way he announced the end of his career will make you shed a tear or two.

Before offering his final 10-7 (which means “out of service”), he needed to take a deep breath because he was overwhelmed with emotions. After gathering some courage, he uttered:

“I’d like to thank all my SPD family for the last 30 years of being by my side, and especially for today for making it a memorable one,” he said.

He simply couldn’t contain the flow of mixed emotions and started crying as he was thanking his fellow colleagues on congratulating him for being there for the people of Chattanooga whenever they needed help.

Another officer whose career came to an end is Lt. Austin Garrett. His speech was especially emotional knowing that the dispatcher whom he announced the news about his retirement to was his daughter Haley Garrett.

“Twenty-five years of service,” the officer stated. “I’ll be out of service a final time.”

Then he told his daughter, “Be careful. Don’t forget who you are.”

“Thank you for 25 years of service at the Chattanooga police department,” she said.

“You’ve been a mentor and great friend to many during your career. We all wish you well on your future endeavors.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication. I love you, daddy.”

Chattanooga Police Department also commented on his retirement and wrote in the caption of the video,

“The Chattanooga PD thanks Lt. Garrett for his dedication, leadership, and service and may the best of the past be the worst of his future.”

Lt. Austin Garrett, however, will continue his service for his people as a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy. We all wish him lots of luck in his new position.

Man Fixes 91-Year-Old Man’s Flat Tire, Then Girlfriend Alerts Him Of His New Internet Popularity

All he knew was that the man had needed his help.

One gas station employee has recently made headlines and praised by his local community – for helping a 91-year-old man out by changing his flat tire out free of charge. His name was Jared Stice, and he works at a QuikTrip gas station in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
During one of Stice’ work shifts, a 91-year-old man named Arthur McAfee had dropped by the gas station, asking if anyone is able to change a car tire. The old man was in the midst of leaving the grocery store, just as he realized his tire was flat after taking a closer look at his vehicle. This caused him to pull over at the gas station, looking for someone to help him out. Seeing that McAfee needed urgent assistance, Stice offered his time almost immediately.

Stice followed McAfee outside, and towards the old man’s car. With some handyman tools, he got to work – and was not bothered with the bitter cold winds either. Stice was not wearing any thick clothing to keep himself warm, either. Despite that. he was still willing to stick his neck out for someone in need. The whole process took 10 minutes.

The very next day, Stice received a text message from his girlfriend, notifying him that he was ‘internet famous’ – someone had taken a photo of him fixing McAfee’s car! McAfee was one of Stice’s friends’ grandfather, and he had been battling skin cancer. What a coincidence!

“I was going to bed. She sent me a text that said ‘look on Facebook, there’s a picture of you going around’. I looked, and there was a picture of me on the ground. No one knew it was me yet.”

Ex-Vet, teacher hides special secret from students

We all have experienced what it feels like being part of a classroom with a strict teacher. Although we may not be fond of these individuals while we are kids who just love to be goofing around, we later realize the important role they played in shaping us into good people.

Jim O’Connor is a math teacher who won’t put up with any inappropriate class behavior. This Vietnam veteran knows exactly how to demonstrate his authority during lesson time and make students learn.

Everyone at St. Francis High School in California know of Jim’s strict demeanor, and that was the reason why all of his students were surprised when they learned of his nickname and what he dose outside of the classroom.

Apparently, this teacher is a very loving man who devotes his free time volunteering at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. His job is to help the staff with the ill infants by cuddling them, and even feed them. He’s so good with the little ones that the hospital’s employees calls him the baby whisperer. Who would have thought this stern teacher had such a big and kind heart.

Jim first started volunteering at the hospital after a friend of his made him take part in a blood drive. His blood type, O negative, is highly sought after because it’s universal. Knowing how this could save many lives, he became a regular donor. So far, he’s donated 72 gallons of blood.

Once at the hospital, his attention was caught by the tiny creatures who were in need of medical help, but love too. He was more than happy to offer his free time and help around. Not getting married, and not having kids on his own, Jim devoted his kindness and affection to the sweet little babies.

He simply enjoys rocking them, singing them songs, walking them, and making sure they have a great time while he’s around. The staff describes him as a gentle man the babies love. It’s interesting how the wee ones are especially drawn to him.

After learning of his second ‘job,’ Jim’s students appreciate him even more. The babies’ families say how he’s making so much for their kids and are beyond grateful for his tenderness.

Deaf 2-Year-Old Moves Into Neighborhood, But Her Parents Could Not Ignore Their Neighbors’ Meeting

This is the best thing ever!

Just after turning 2 years old, Samantha Savitz has proven to people around her as well as her parents that she was no typical toddler. Although she is unfortunately deaf, her disability never stopped her from growing up to be a very voracious and active communicator thanks to another language. Her parents praised her can-do attitude, remarking that she simply loves to interact with anyone she meets, especially those who knew how to effectively communicate via sign language.

Unfortunately for Samantha, living in the neighbourhood in Newton, Massachusetts, had never led to proper sign language conversations. No one knew how to talk to Samantha in that way. Whenever her neighbours would spot Samantha, they would struggle to say anything in sign language.
Therefore, Samantha’s neighbours got together to do something incredible as a supportive community. A sign language instructor, Rhys McGovern, was hired to provide them with an immersive course in American Sign Language – which more than 20 people attending each week!

“This is remarkable because a lot of times, even the parents of deaf children don’t bother to learn sign language. But here, Sam has a full community that’s signing and communicating with her and her family – it is a beautiful story,” remarked McGovern.

This piece of news has touched the hearts of many worldwide, and it is truly a touching sight to see. After all, a whole community of neighbors who are willing to do anything to communicate with your child is a great rarity – any parent would love it too!

Lady Gaga tearfully accepts her first Oscar for Shallow as Jennifer Hudson encourages her from audience

This year’s Oscars that went without a host after Kevin Hart stepped down from the hosting position three days after it was announced that he would front the 91st Academy Awards were really all about Lady Gaga.

The singer and actress was nominated for best female lead role and best original song. She won the golden statue for the latter and had an amazing performance of her song “Shallow” from the movie A Star is Born along with her onscreen partner Bradley Cooper.

She accepted the award and was accompanied on stage by the song co-writers Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt.

Always unique, Lady Gaga’s speech was emotional and inspiring. She told the viewers: “It’s not about winning, but it’s about not giving up,” and Jennifer Hudson’s reaction to these wise words is all you need to know of how great of a friend she is to the Oscar winner.

She then proceeded expressing gratitude to all those people who have been supportive all along.

Everyone seems to be talking about the 2019 Oscars. And as we were all eagerly waiting to see who gets to hold that golden statue that is the ultimate recognition of their hard work, two particular people stole the whole show and were under the limelight the whole time. Two sisters get stunning makeovers

Pam and Becky are two sisters who always put their friends’ and families’ needs on the top of the list of their priorities, which doesn’t really allow them to spend time on themselves. This resulted in both of them “rocking” the same look for years. The old-fashioned hairstyle, the classic and pretty dull clothes, and the boring make-up made them feel and look older than they really are.

The good news is that this is all going to change as the lovely sisters are getting the so much-needed makeover. We hope undergoing through this drastic transformation will make them feel good about themselves.

Both admit how they wanted to change something regarding their appearance for some time now, but didn’t really know whom to trust their look. After looking at a bunch of magazines and browsing the Internet in hopes of getting an idea of what to change and how drastic that change should be, they got even more confused. Finally, they came across one of the Makeover Guy’s videos and were left stunned by what he was capable of doing. They both knew he was the person they should contact if they wanted to achieve their goal of looking fresh and younger.

Becky hasn’t changed her hairstyle in 30 years, and Pam would often have her hair cut pretty short because that made it easier to straighten it.

As they didn’t want to look like their mother, they let Christopher decide what was best for them. Pam told him she wanted to keep her curls, but Becky didn’t like hers. Pam needed to be a red head, Becky needed to be an ash blonde. And as this incredibly talented man said, he is happy he managed to capture the sisters’ personalities pretty well.

Becky got her hair volume and make-up that shed a couple of years off her face. Pam, meanwhile, retained her curls, but now they made her feel more classy.

We love Christopher’s videos because they remind us that sometimes it only takes a little to go a long way. Every woman should take the time to give herself some self-love. Many times, the change we need so badly is hidden behind a simple hair cut, or a new shade of lipstick.

Christopher not only changes women’s physical appearance, but he gives each of them a self-esteem booster shot and that makes him the best of the best.

The new season of The Voice UK aired almost two months ago, but the best is yet to come. During the latest episode, we got to witness magic unfolding right in front of our eyes as one of the judges took the stage along with a contestant and made the audience go nuts.

During the Blind Auditions, the four judges, will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones, and Olly Murs are faced towards the audience and have no idea which contestant is singing, so they only act upon what they hear and make a decision whether they would turn their seat and give the candidate a chance to proceed to the next round or not. They do get to learn some fun background stories of each of the people performing as well.

Talented Bethzienna Williams, who is a 28-year-old singer-actress from Barry in South Wales, had the privilege of singing with one of the best singers in the music industry, Sir Tom Jones. His career that spanned six decades says a lot of what an amazing singer and performer he is. He’s best known for his huge hits “It’s Not Unusual”, “What’s New Pussycat”, and “She’s a Lady.” During Williams’ performance, Sir Tom Jones was curious to learn of her knowledge of Solomon Burke’s song “Cry to me.” After she admitted how she first discovered the song through her favorite movie “Dirty Dancing,” he told his fellow judges and the audience how he enjoys singing that tune. Jennifer Hudson then encouraged him to sing it at that particular moment. The crowd liked the idea and they were all eagerly waiting for Sir Tom Jones to say yes.

Once he got the microphone in his hands, Williams’ got overly excited and happy to be dueting with Sir Tom Jones, and I guess everyone who gets the chance to perform with such an icon would feel the same way. This young singer and actress was ready to grab the opportunity to shine. Everyone got out of their seats and started dancing and clapping.

This is definitely one of the best episodes of The Voice so far as Sir Tom Jones showed us how his job of “judging” the contestants is not only limited to commenting someone’s singing abilities, but to making everyone have fun time too. We have to admit that beautiful Williams did an amazing job too. She is bound to become a huge name in the music industry.

Woman’s ‘Embarrassing’ photos of car insurance mix-up shared by many

Alyssa Stringfellow, a 25-year-old girl from Arkansas, made the whole world laugh only because she caught herself in a funny miscommunication after she applied to be added to her mom’s car insurance policy.

All she needed to do was send the company her driver’s license number, date of birth, and “a picture straight on and a picture taken from each side.” And that’s exactly what she did.

“She gave me his email address and I emailed the information along with the pictures that night,” Stringfellow explained, referring to her’ mom and her mom’s car insurance agent.
“The following day, I check my email and find THIS response: ‘Hi Alyssa, I am going to need pictures like you just took, except it needs to be of your vehicle. :)’”

The girl couldn’t believe the goofy thing she made. But although she felt pretty embarrassed, she though she should share the innocent mistake with her family and friends, not knowing her post would go viral. As she says, this was her “blonde” moment and we think it’s adorable.

However, maybe her mom should have given her more clear instructions, or at least she should have added the word car in the conversation.

“Alyssa Rachael, did you send him pictures of YOURSELF!?” she wrote in a text message. “It was supposed to be of your car!”

Both mom and the agent had a really good laugh.

A lot of people commented on Stringfellow’s post saying it could happen to everyone.

“Only laughing cause I would do this,” Mallory Sisson wrote on Facebook.
“Beautiful story to lighten up an otherwise dreary day!” wrote Philippe Joukes.

Another person added: “I read this last night and laughed sooooooo hard! So funny! And I see where the confusion came from.”

“I would do something like that too,” wrote a Facebook user.

“Don’t feel bad! We all have those moments. All we can do is shake our heads and say God, what was I thinking!” exclaimed another person.

Buying lots of stuff such as toys, a bunch of diapers, and clothes becomes an everyday activity. Before welcoming that bundle of joy however, many moms and dads-to-be organize gender reveal parties and share with their family and friends whether they are having a boy or a girl. There are also those who don’t want the baby’s gender to be revealed until the moment it enters the world.

The reaction of one father after his wife gave birth is unlike anything you’ve seen so far.

The sounds he makes resemble those you are likely to hear while watching a horror movie. He makes the loudest noise when you least expect and scares the hell out of you.

And as he can’t stop saying “Oh my God” as he sees the baby, the doctor urges him to stay calm in case he doesn’t want to scare everyone around.

Being a supportive parent means letting your kid pursue their dreams and helping them in achieving their goals, even if it means not being really happy with the career they chose. I guess some moms and dads out there are somehow judging their children’s choices only because they don’t fit their personal wishes. Many times, if they failed in becoming let’s say famous musicians, or football players, they secretly want their offspring to opt fulfilling those failed and broken dreams. But, once the child goes for what makes them happy, not what their parents want, it triggers disappointment. However, there are also those types of parents who’d do anything to make their kids happy. Take this amazingly talented boy’s story for example. 15-year-old Ethan Peters is a prodigy. His make-up skills are out-of-this world and leave everyone who is familiar with his work amazed. It’s not surprise most of his tutorials go viral in a blink of an eye. However, the truth is that many people also find what Ethan does not that cool only because he is a boy in a “girl’s world.” This opinion is totally outdated, and it’s sad how there are people who still believe things should be strictly divided into boys’ and girls’. Ethan’s latest video, however, received only positive comments all because it featured a very special person: his dad. This amazing father not only let his son give him a makeover, but let him film it and share it online too. It’s really great how he stays completely still during the whole process, even though getting those false eyelashes could feel a bit uncomfortable. We love this video so much because it shows the love between a father and a son and how great parents would always go an extra mile for their kids’ well-being. Pink was part of the event held in honor of the life and the career of the country icon Dolly Parton at the MusiCares Person of the Year gala in Los Angeles. Singing the classic “Jolene,” Pink who is one of America’s sweethearts, showed the world once again that she truly deserves to be considered a legend and one of the best females vocals of all time.

This is not the first time someone trying to shine while performing this extraordinary piece of music, but Pink sets the bar. She pours her heart out and sounds as though the song was made especially for her.

In fact, her powerful vocal never fails to gives us goosebumps and it doesn’t come as a surprise that she was the one under the limelight and stole the show. Wearing a black jacket with Dolly’s face on it, she really paid the tribute the right way.

The night featured other compelling performances from Miley Cyrus and Shawn Mendes — who sang Parton and Kenny Roger’s 1983 song “Islands in the Stream” — as well as Kacey Musgraves and Katy Perry— who belted 1977’s “Here You Come Again.”

Recently, Pink received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was accompanied by her loving husband and her sweet kids. They posed for some lovely pictures that would remain a fond memory of Pink’s best week.

Her husband Carey Hart is very supportive of his wife and everyone was simply thrilled for this so much deserved star. It’s great seeing them having big grin on their faces as the singer basked in her big moment.

Oldest Mall in U.S. turned into apartment homes

Finding the perfect place for living isn’t really the easiest thing. The rent is pretty high, especially if you want to get yourself a downtown apartment. As the cities become overcrowded, the demand for affordable, but yet cozy and useful home is constantly increasing. All this made Evan Granoff, the owner of the oldest shopping mall in America, to convert the closed shops into livable and affordable space. Needless to say, people are falling in love with the tiny apartments.

Built back in 1829, The Arcade closed after struggling to fill its cramped commercial spaces in 2008. The building that is now turned into a growing housing trend of micro apartments has been through numerous restorations throughout the years and was designated a national landmark in 1976.

As the concept of living in a shoebox started becoming trendy, Granoff decided it was about time for him to introduce it to the people of Providence. The overall number of living spaces inside the building is 48 and their size varies between 225 to 800 square feet. With the upper floors now being loft apartments, the building’s owner retained the retail spaces on the ground floor. There are numerous shops offering food, coffee, and even designer clothes inside the household.

Each of the homes comes with the most basic necessities such as a bed with drawers, cushioned bench/seating, refrigerator, and shelves. However, as The Arcade falls into a rooming house, cooking facilities are not allowed. The good thing is that microwaves are not considered cooking devices so tenants may use them if they choose to.

Some of the tenants share their stories of why they opted for a tiny home. It’s important to mention that most of them don’t really spend that much time at home. I guess these lofts are perfect for these people exactly.

One of the people who are willing to show us their home is Dr. Karim. Her tight schedule, the night shifts, and the fact that she is constantly traveling internationally makes her the perfect tenant of this perfect home. She also says how not having a stove doesn’t really bother her.

Another tenant is Sharon Kinnier who uses the loft only when she’s working in a Providence lab formulating organic cosmetics as she spends the rest of the time with her husband in Washington D.C.

Tenants can choose to pay for a personal Wi-Fi connection or watch TV in the common area. The great thing about the building is that there is natural light that pours into the space to help make tenants feel warm.

It’s amazing how many people are interested in getting one of these tiny homes. You may be surprised by there is even a list of people waiting to move to The Arcade. The tiniest units rent for $550 per month, almost half the city average.

Creative couple builds adorable 80-square-foot guest house – They did it with just $700

Imagine getting your piece of paradise for just $700. If you think we speak nonsense than you should definitely check out this amazing project a couple from Missoula, Montana started.

Using only re-purposed materials, photographer Alla Ponomareva and her husband Garrett built the coziest and most adorable tiny place. The plans from Derek “Deek” Diedricksen they used cost them around $1,200.

The house is shaped in the form of the letter A and is totally amazing both on the outside and in the inside. It has a huge deck, large windows, solar panels, and translucent wall.

The best thing is that during summer time, this tiny space expands by pushing the see-through wall. It definitely offers pure enjoyment.

Once the wall expands, it becomes a patio roof and having a glass of wine, or reading a book outside gives you feeling of calmness and freshness.

“When the wall is up, its a whole different experience. Luckily, Montana has almost no mosquitos to speak of in the summer time, so there’s no need for a mosquito net,” Alla says on her blog.

The interior is full of vivid colors that add to the appealing looks of the place.

“Be happy, enjoy the little things,” a sign reads above the window.

I am sure everyone would like to be a guest of the Ponomavera’s family and spend a night or two at this beautiful cottage.

The two separate sofas can serve the purpose of beds for sleeping in during the night.

The cottage might be small but has enough storage space to fit all your most valuable belongings. It doesn’t have a full kitchen but it does have some of the most basic necessities.

The large water jug can be used for washing dishes, or brushing teeth, and the Coleman portable burner can be used for cooking simple meals or warming coffee or tea.

The hammocks only add to the whole experience and let you enjoy the fresh air to the fullest while relaxing.

“If you haven’t seen the stars in Montana, then you haven’t truly seen the stars…” Alla says.

Recently, a Facebook user posted a photo of an elderly woman on a train clutching a pole for support while some younger people are sitting and staring at their phones. This sparked outrage at the community members who agree how young generations lack good manners and don’t stick to the basic moral values that are supposed to be followed in order for this world to become a better place. There are those, however, who believe that we don’t know what was really going on on the train and whether someone offered their seat or not.

The person who posted the photo wrote the caption “No Respect” and no matter if you believe this is right or wrong, this speaks a lot about failed humanity.

Many took to social media to judge the person who took the photo saying they should have done something regarding the situation the lady found herself in instead of just taking photos for gathering likes and comments. A 16 year old teen commented how he would always offer his seat to an elderly person the moment they enter the train. He says how he would have done the same thing for this poor lady who is obviously having hard time standing on her feet.

According to some, this all have to do with how we raise our children and how much time we spend telling them how the elderly should be paid ultimate respect. However, there are divided opinions regarding this too. As one woman says, “My son is 7 years old I just asked him what is wrong with this picture and he said the lady mommy and those two with the headphones not giving their seat to her. Because she’s older They are rude mommy,” another person adds: “If he’s 7, he’s at the perfect age to teach him not to make assumptions based on limited information. A person named Heather says how we are all judgmental without knowing the whole story behind the photo. She says it’s very unlikely that no single person offered their seat. She assumes how the person posting the picture aims at people saying bad things for the future generations, including inciting hatred.

Sydney Trains told Daily Mail: “Sydney Trains encourages all of its passengers to observe appropriate transport etiquette including respecting elderly, disabled or pregnant customers by offering up their seats.”

BBC on the other hand makes an assumption that sometimes people won’t offer their seat to someone else not because they are selfish but because they fear the consequences that actually stop them from getting up and offering their seats to someone who needs it more than they do.

Although selfishness is to be blamed for this type of rude behavior by the train passengers, Dr. Oliver Scott Curry, an expert in human behavior, based at the University of Oxford believes that it’s also a result of buck-passing. That means every person believes that other one would offer their seat and say to themselves, “let someone else stand up, why should it be me?”

“There’s a fear of getting it wrong, of seeming patronizing or thinking someone is a charity case. It doesn’t hurt for the person needing help to ask for it.” According to Dr. Curry many times it happens for passengers to get competitive and offer their seat in order to show they are more of gentleman than the others.

Sometimes people believe they could be making a mistake if they choose to offer their seat. Let’s say a lady just had lunch and her tummy appears big only because she ate and not because she’s pregnant which may lead for the person offering the seat to find themselves in an awkward situation. That is why many people simply avoid eye contact with other passengers. So, in case you want to offer your seat to someone without getting into any form of contact, you can just stand up and if they really need to sit down they’d do it.

Doctors discover surprise inside pastor who donated kidney

Who would knew that this would happen?

In North Carolina, one man’s generous act has ended up saving his own life despite helping another. It was Pastor Tim Jones, who wanted to donate his kidney to help a man he befriended at a church fundraiser last fall. Don Herbert, who is also a former professional wrestler turned gospel singer, had been suffering from kidney failure which required a kidney donation.

“I wanted to give him a chance at life, I wanted to give him hope. I prayed for peace with it and a couple of days later God gave me peace. I told my wife we’re going to do this,” said Jones.

He went for testing, and was a match for Herbert! After many preliminary tests and procedures, the transplant was finally scheduled at Duke University Medical Center – and it was a success. Plus, the operation not only saved Herbert’s life, but Jones’s as well.

Jones’s surgery spanned for 6 hours, twice as long as expected as doctors had found an aneurysm in one of his arteries. It had never shown up in any of the preoperative tests – until now.

The chances of finding a donor were very slim due to the many recipants on the waiting list for a new kidney. Herbert had met local pastor Tim Jones during a church craft and bake sale. Don struck up a conversation and shared his love of gospel music, leading the two to quickly become fast friends. Now Herbert is in trouble.

After a medical check-up at the Duke University Medical Center back in early November, 56-year-old Herbert was diagnoised with Stage 4 Kidney Disease. Both of his kidneys were failing, but that was not the only issue. He also needed a heart catheterization, which caused him to be removed from the hospital’s kidney waiting list. This news left both Herbert and his wife Belinda greatly depressed.

Belinda wrote about her husband’s plight on their Facebook page, in the form of a personal plea to anyone who would give Don a chance at another organ donation. Jones had been browsing Facebook in the afternoon, and came across Belinda’s post.

Tim and Sherry then invited both Don and Belinda Herbert to their Salisbury home located in Settlers Grove. The couple informed them about Don’s whole medical history and experiences. It was then Jones told Herbert he wanted to donate one of his kidneys to him, as a gift. It was a perfect match which saved 2 lives.

“What if it was me? Or what if it was you? How many people would be lining up, waiting to give us a kidney?”

On the other hand, Jones has expressed that he was in fact, not nervous at all for the procedure. “Things are risky for me, I understand that. But they are more risky for Don. My wife kids me and says, ‘You act like you’re giving him a piece of gum,’” he laughs.

Teacher Informs Man After Taking A Photo In McDonald’s: “I Hope You Know, You’re Going Viral”

The kindness of strangers is very rare, but valued by society. This notion has highlighted the friendship between a man from Indiana and an elderly woman – they became a hot topic on social media! The man in question was Eric Haralson. He was in the middle of his lunch in November 2018 at a McDonald’s outlet when suddenly, a woman whom he did not know personally had approached him. The old woman then asked Eric if he would mind if she sat down at the very same table he was sitting at, just for some company.

“She said she just wanted a little conversation, because no one likes to eat alone.”

Eric said: “No, not at all.” After speaking to her, he even proceeded to clear the table and a seat, for her to sit down. During their friendly chat, Eric learnt that the woman was named Jan, and that she lived in an apartment by herself, located not far from the McDonald’s itself.

Midway, Amanda Craft told Eric: “You’re such a gentleman. I hope you know you’re going viral.” Craft was a teacher who had been also dining at the restaurant. What Eric did not expect was that had taken a photo of them and posted it on her Facebook page – and the picture went viral almost instantly. Eric walked her to her car after lunch, and talked for 20 minutes more. The pair even exchanged phone numbers!

“It was so heartwarming to see this man and this older lady sit together, and eat. They didn’t know each other, but he was so kind. The woman had a contagious laugh, and my friends and I couldn’t help but laugh along,” Craft says in an interview.
