Reality shows become more and more popular with each passing year and dominate the TV screens during the last two decades. From looking for new talents, to weight loss and dating, these shows cover pretty much everything.

One of the reality shows which is extremely popular is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills which started as The Real Housewives of Orange County and expanded to Atlanta, New York, Miami and New Jersey.

One of the people who marked it is definitely one and only Kim Richards.

This incredible woman started her TV career when she was just a baby. According to a 1975 article published in the in the Great Falls Tribune, family and friends of her parents though Kim was an overly cute baby so they encouraged them to put her in commercials and TV shows.

Kim’s mother, Kathleen Dugan, who is also the mother of Kathy Hilton, Paris and Nicky Hilton’s mom, had been accused over the years that she pushed her three daughters into acting, but she denied that, saying that the girls did what they wanted to do. “I want everything for my daughters that I never had,” she claimed.

Besides Kathy Hilton, Kim Richards also has another sister, Kyle Richards, who is also part of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Once the family moved to Los Angeles, where Kathleen Dugan believed her daughters would have bigger chances of entering the world of film, Kim landed a role in the ABC comedy series The Nanny and The Professor in which she starred alongside Juliet Mills and Richard Long. Although she was pretty young back then, she remembers the period of filming the series as a happy part of her life.

What followed were some great projects, including the fantasy science-fiction film Escape to Witch Mountain, Assault on Precinct 13, and the television show James at 15.

“I always wanted to be a witch,” then 10-year-old Kim said. “Then I wanted to be a movie star, a mommy, and have children. And I want to meet Santy Claus.”

At the age of mere 15, Kim already made a name for herself and became a well-known face.

“I love the business, though. And I plan to stay in it the rest of my life,” she told Austin American-Statesman in 1979. “Once you’re established, you’ll probably work right through. Somehow, I skipped the awkward period in my life. I’m really too old now to play kids.”

Despite being on a way to even more successful career, Kim decided to take a break and raise her children.

She met her first husband, Monty Brinson, when she was just 19. His family owned a supermarket chain in the South and the marriage was a result of pregnancy.

According to the book House of Hilton written by Jerry Oppenheimer, Kim’s mother was described as a “gold-digger” who forced her daughters to marry rich man. She believed that would help with their careers.

“We found out [Kim was pregnant], and we did the right thing. It was Kim’s choice to have the baby,” Brinson said, as reported by Daily Mail. “They [Rick and Kathy Hilton, and Kim and Kathy’s mother] didn’t believe in abortion because they were Catholic. It wasn’t even an option.”

Kim and Brinson divorced three years later, and in 1988, Kim married her second husband, Gregg Davis, with whom she has 2 children. After the split, she started a long-time relationship with businessman John Jackson, with whom she welcomed her fourth child.

After returning to her career, Kim is mostly involved in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She was a regular in the first five seasons and them made guest appearances in seasons 6, 7, 9, and 10. She, however, wasn’t part of seasons 11 and 12 but said she could return in the future.

Speaking to Dr. Phil, she said, “Living through this season on a show, sometimes it’s hard enough just to get through it. The fans are very hard on me. I went on Twitter first to see what people were saying. And it was just horrible, calling me all kinds of names.”

Today, Kim devotes most of her time to her grandsons Hucksley and Hunter and enjoys the role of a grandmother.

“He’s super outgoing, animated, super lovable, calls me Nana,” she said of Hucksley when he was born in 2016. “I bought him a set of Safari animals, like 72 Safari animals. I can say, ‘Where’s the platypus,’ and he’ll know where the platypus is at. He knows every animal, and I’m not just saying this because he’s my grandson, but he’s so smart.”

“He sings, and he loves to dance,” Kim Richards added. “We put him in the car seat, and he immediately wants the radio [on]. He makes these faces, and he loves music. He’s just extremely loving, and a happy baby doesn’t cry a lot.”

Kelly Clarkson shares unexpected marriage update

Kelly Clarkson rose to fame thanks to one of the most prominent talent shows there are, American Idol. The moment she first took the stage, she became America’s sweetheart. And why wouldn’t she? Besides her impeccable singing talent, Kelly is also a very grounded person who has worked hard for everything she has.

When she started dating her now ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, everyone agreed that she met just the right person for her. Brandon has always appeared as loving and invested in the marriage.

Speaking of how their fairytale started, Kelly once told presenter Ryan Seacrest, “[Brandon and I] met years ago when I was working with Rascal Flatts, and he used to tour manage with him. I didn’t really know he was [my manager’s] son, and it was kind of weird. I was like, ‘Dude, I gotta know that guy.’”

This happened back in 2006, some 6 years before they became a thing.

“We were just in a room together, and then he came up and said he was from the same hometown as me. And I was like, ‘Oh, we’re so getting married,’ I was so that girl. When he became single, I was on the prowl,” Kelly added.

Shortly after tying the knot, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter River Rose. In 2016, they welcomed son Remington. Together with Brandon’s two children from a previous relationship, they made a cute blended family.

“Brandon is not my other half. He’s a whole, and I’m a whole. I’ve never believed in someone taking care of me, and that’s probably because I grew up poor and without a lot of family stability,” Kelly said of Brandon back in the day.

Everything seemed perfect and Kelly and Brandon were considered one of the best celeb couples, but that all changed in 2020 when Kelly filled for divorce. The news came as huge shock to many, especially her fans. Nothing spoke trouble, so it didn’t come as a surprise that people started wondering what was going on behind closed door throughout the years.

Days before she filed the papers, Kelly shared in an interview with Glamour Magazine that since the pandemic struck, things haven’t been easy for her. “Honestly, I have been on an emotional roller coaster. This has been really hard as a working parent, because I’m still doing all the same jobs. It’s been exhausting, honestly, cooking every meal and cleaning nonstop after toddlers and teenagers! Everybody’s learning from home now, and the teaching! So, everything has been crazy,” she said.

She also shared how she felt when she got abandoned by her father at the age of 6.

“I don’t think you get rid of that. I have people in my life that suffer from addiction to certain things, and that doesn’t go away. It’s always there. It’s just navigating your life around that existence in your life,” she said.

“You don’t ever one day wake up and are like, ‘Okay, I’m totally cool with the fact that I have major abandonment issues,’ because horrible things happened.”

During an occasion, Kelly told Entertainment Tonight that she and Brandon forgot two out of four of their anniversaries. ”But the great thing about us is we collectively do it. It’s not like one of us forgets and one of us remembers. We both epically fail. We’re always very busy. The only times we’ve remembered our anniversary is when we had [it] off. If we’re working, we forget what day it is,” she added.

While Kelly cited “irreconcilable differences” as the legal grounds for divorce, people close to her and Brandon believe the reasons were many. Apparently, one of them was the hearing problem their son faced when he was still very young. The stress did its part in moving them apart. Their careers were also a big thing that kept them from spending enough time together.

“Things had changed in their marriage and the split was a while coming,” source told People. “They both work so hard. It’s nearly impossible to enjoy each other, especially with the children needing constant attention.”

The couple signed prenup before the wedding, but they still ended up suing each other. Namely, Starstruck Management Group, where Brandon works as a talent agent, sued Kelly. In December 2020, she counter-sued.

The prenup gives Kelly proprietary rights to the Montana ranch where Brandon is currently living. He tried to challenge the prenup and claimed that he worked full-time on the ranch and had huge business plans for the establishment.

Kelly got primary custody of the children and is obliged to pay Brandon $195,601 per month in spousal and child support.

During a conversation with Gwyneth Paltrow on the Kelly Clarkson Show, the singer/ songwriter said she’s not planning on marrying ever again.

“Coming from someone who’s literally amidst a divorce, I can’t even imagine doing it again,” she said.

“I’m actually in that place where I think a lot of people, I’ve heard, that go through divorce, it’s almost like you start dating yourself again, like you actually make time for you again, and I love dating me.”

Every parent out there is doing their best to raise their kids right and help them become independent individuals who will eventually leave the “nest” in order to live their lives the best they know and even start a family on their own. However, seeing them grow and eventually leave the home is both beautiful and heartbreaking.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have gone through that stage of life, and although they somehow knew their son Jaden, who is independent and very mature, would want to live on his own when he reaches 16 or 17, they still found it hard when he asked them to let him “go” as a present for his 15th birthday.

The thing is that Jaden has been under the spotlight from the moment he was born. Both him and his sister Willow are now celebrities on their own, but having parents as famous as Jada and Will “robbed” them of having a normal childhood.

In an interview with Dazed Magazine in 2018, Jaden said: ”People treat me like I’m not a normal human so much, that you start to believe it, like, ‘Am I not a normal human?’”

The good thing is that he met some skater friends living nearby and started feeling normal around them. ”If I wasn’t famous and didn’t have all this sh** going on, and I didn’t have to fly to all these different places all the time, I would just be here with these guys, every day just skating. That would be my vibe,” he explained.

His father, Will, told BBC Radio 1Xtra: “Jaden is 100 percent fearless. “He will do anything. As a parent, it’s scary; it’s really terrifying. But he is completely willing to live and die by his artistic decisions, and he doesn’t concern himself with what people think.”

It was probably that attitude that made Jaden ask his mom to let him move from the family house and live on his own. In an episode of Red Table Talk, Jada opened up about the traumatic experience. “At 15 years old, Jaden, and I remember this day specifically, it’s probably one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life,” Jada began and continued: “You got to a point where you told me straight up, you were like, ‘Mom, I have to leave here to live my life.”

Being just 15, he had to be legally emancipated, with the consent of his parents. Jada said she knew that day would come and confessed she believed it would be for the best. Her mother, Jaden’s grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, who is the co-host of Red Table Talk, said she would never allow him that if she was in Jada’s position. In fact, it’s not just Adrienne, but a lot of other people believe that the Smiths’ parenting is somewhat “crazy,” and judge them about how they raise their kids.

But Jada knows what’s best for her children. “I knew. I told Will – when Jaden was smaller – I said, ‘We’ll be lucky to keep him in the house until he’s 16.’ Because he was so mature. He was making films… he could really manage his own life,” she said.

“Every child needs something different. Being in this lifestyle, in this world is a bubble and he wanted out. I understood that because I didn’t have the bubble. I knew what having my freedom outside the bubble, what I gained from that. I knew the sooner I let him go, the faster he was going to come back.”

The good thing is that Jaden, who is now 23, changed his mind and decided to continue living with his mom and dad until 2017. Today, he owns a $4 million home which is just 5 minutes away from his parents’ place.

“See, here’s the thing. I’m not going anywhere. The thing that people don’t get is everything at this house is free,” Jaden told Ellen DeGeneres in 2013. “I can get anything and everything at his house, so I’m going to be there for 20, 30 years,” he joked. “[Will] says as soon as I have a movie that’s bigger than one of his movies, I can get my own house.”

As far as we are concerned, Jada and Will are incredible parents and they all make a beautiful family.

We can all agree that the educational systems of many countries have to undergo reforms, but as long as the parents blame the teachers for every failure of their children and don’t question their parenting, nothing really could be changed.

One retired teacher had it enough of listening everyone criticizing the system and the educators so she decided to tell parents to think again before pointing their fingers towards the educational system.

In order for more people to read her words, she published them in a newspaper. Needless to say, what she had to say has gone viral and turned into an Internet hit.

“As a retired teacher, I am sick of people who know nothing about public schools or have not been in a classroom recently deciding how to fix our education system.

The teachers are not the problem! Parents are the problem! They are not teaching their children manners, respect or even general knowledge of how to get along with others. The children come to school in shoes that cost more than the teacher’s entire outfit, but have no pencil or paper. Who provides them? The teachers often provide them out of their own pockets.

When you look at schools that are “failing,” look at the parents and students. Do parents come to parent nights? Do they talk with teachers regularly? Do they make sure their children are prepared by having the necessary supplies? Do they make sure their children do their homework?

Do they have working telephone numbers? Do the students take notes in class? Do they do their homework? Do the students listen in class, or are they the sources of class disruptions?

When you look at these factors, you will see that it is not schools that are failing but the parents. Teachers cannot do their jobs and the parents’ job. Until parent step up and do their job, nothing is going to get better!”

We are perfectly aware that most seniors are witty and will always show you how you shouldn’t mess with them. They have way more experience than we do and we can learn a lot from them. Take this couple for example. This is gold!

A couple, both age 78, went to a therapist’s office. The doctor asked, “What can I help you with?”

The man said, “Will you watch us have s*x?”

The doctor looked puzzled, but agreed. When the couple finished, the doctor said, “There’s nothing wrong with the way you have s*x,” and charged them $50.

This happened several weeks in a row. The couple would make an appointment, have s*x with no problems, pay the doctor, then leave.

Finally, the doctor asked, “Just exactly what are you trying to find out?”

“We’re not trying to find out anything,” the husband replied. ”She’s married and we can’t go to her house. I’m married and we can’t go to my house. The Holiday Inn charges $90. The Hilton charges $108. We do it here for $50… and I get $43 back from Medicare.

Damian Aspinall’s wife ignores warnings and gets too close to the gorillas her husband raised years ago

Individuals who do so much for the wildlife and our planet always have our deepest respect. These people teach us that if we really care, we can do a lot for the creatures we share this Earth with.

Damian Aspinall is one of them. He is a well-known wildlife conservationist who has raised and released a number of zoo-bred lowland gorillas in Gabon. Now, it was time for him to meet two of them and see how they are doing in their natural habitat. But he didn’t go alone. His wife Victoria accompanied him and she was equally eager to get to know them.

Both Djalta and Ima were released into the wild back in 2003 after Damian raised them as small babies at the Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent.

The encounter with his old pals that was about to take place that day surprised everyone.

Namely, Western Lowland gorillas are known as territorial animals who don’t get affectionate with humans easily. That meant there was a possibility for them not to welcome Damian into their home.

People even warned them to be extra cautious, because Victoria had never met the pair of apes before, but how the animals reacted when they saw their caretaker left everyone in awe.

They were extremely welcoming and affectionate both with Damian and his wife. The bond was instant.

The photo of Victoria in Ima’s lap stole the hearts of everyone who got to see it. It really showed how gentle and playful these animals can be.

The two played together and exchanged lots of hugs and kisses. The best part of it all was when the gorilla stole Victoria’s hat and put it on.

Both Damian and Victoria are extremely lucky to be able to spend time with such gracious and huge creatures.

Tommy Steele says Elvis Presley went to England in secret two years prior only known trip

Elvis Presley, “The King of Rock&Roll,” is still considered an icon and a legend. His music has continued to live long after his passing as he gave the world some of the best songs ever written and performed.

Well, what Presley was to America, another legend of his own, Tommy Steele, was to England. The two musicians were very close friends who learned from one another and appreciated each other’s talent and passion for rock&roll.

Today, Tommy Steele isn’t part of the showbiz as much as he was before because he turned to other things that fulfill him, such as acting in musicals, but he remains one of the best English musicians there are.

Born in 1936, in Bermondsey, London, England, Steele was forced to spend a lot of time at a hospital as a young child.

“The war had been over three or four years, and I was trapped in a hospital bed,” he told Herald Scotland. “It was only when these red spots exploded on my ankles the docs realized I had the King’s Disease.

“When I learned of the madness I panicked – and so did my mum.”

At the time he joined the Merchant Navy at 16, someone taught Steele three chords and he was able to play pretty much every country song.

On a trip to the U.S., Steele saw Buddy Holly perform and he just knew that music was his thing. “When we got New York I bought the sheet music to a load of rock ’n’ roll songs and by the time I got back to London I could play them all.”

Although rock&roll wasn’t a huge thing in England back then, Steele promoted it, and soon, his first solo, the single Rock With the Caveman, reached No. 13 on the UK Singles Chart.

“All of a sudden, I’m the first rock ‘n’ roll singer because no one my age played guitar or could sing country in England,” Steele told the Daily Record in 2008.

Being icons, Presley and Steele crossed paths eventually and became very good friends. Up util recently, everyone believed that Presley only visited Great Britain once, when he was getting from military service in Germany to the U.S. In fact, there is a sign at Prestwick Airport in Scotland proudly proclaiming that it is the only place in the UK ever visited by The King. Well, it turns out Presley was in England back in 1958, according to Steele’s long-time friend, theatre producer Bill Kenwright.

Speaking on BBC’s Radio2, Kenwright said, “I remember [Tommy] telling me about when Elvis came to England very quietly,” as quoted by The Guardian.

“Evidently Tommy got home one night and the phone rings. A voice says, ‘They tell me you’re good.’ Tommy says, ‘Who’s this?’ Kenwright continued. “‘Elvis’ says the voice. ‘Get outta here,’ says Tommy. ‘Are you as good as me?’ says Elvis … and they started this mock rivalry.”

“It all came from that. It’s quite something isn’t it – the thought of them wandering around London together? But the impression I got was that they never got out of the car… It was more like, ‘There’s Buckingham Palace… there’s the Houses of Parliament.’

“Tommy is a very private person who doesn’t go into the past. It’s only me who makes him talk about it.”

Steele, on the other hand, is pretty discrete about meeting Presley privately.

“What actually happened many years ago is something secret and memorable,” he told Reuters. “It was an event shared by two young men sharing the same love of their music and the same thrill of achieving something unimaginable.

“I swore never to divulge publicly what took place and I regret that it has found some way of ‘getting into the light’

“I can only hope he (Presley) can forgive me.”

There is also this fun story involving the two. Apparently, Steele was a huge name in Sweden, and a Swedish magazine once organized voting asking people to decided who the real rock&roll star was, Steele or Presley. Steele ended up winning “the match.”

“[Elvis] called me and asked if I’d heard that you could vote on who was the best one of us in Sweden,” Steele recalled. “Even though he is, and forever will be, “The King”, I bloody won.”

Speaking of his friendship with Presley, Steele said,

“It was all about me and Elvis, we were the guys that gave 1950 its rock ‘n’ roll face, and we succeeded.

“Elvis was my friend, and there was never a rivalry between us. We did our thing, and there was plenty of room for both of us. But Elvis is the greatest, he is and will forever be “The King”. He already knew it back then.”

The German-born beauty, who worked in her home country for a couple of years, moved to the States to expand her career and ended up on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 1998. From that moment on, she received many offers from many fashion brands and placed herself on the very top in the fashion industry.

People Magazine named her one of the world’s most beautiful women in 2011. However, Heidi hasn’t limited her career to modeling only. She has also appeared in several TV series, and tried herself as a designer, businesswoman and an artist. She and Tim Gunn were hosting the reality television series Project Runway for 16 seasons before they moved on to the project Making the Cut which premiered in March 2020.

When she was 23, Heidi married New York hair stylist Ric Pipino who proposed to her atop the Empire State Building.

Pipino spoke of his love for the model openly and their wedding was in the spirit of the German culture with the two even sawing a log in half using a two-handled blade, which is part of Heidi’s home country’s tradition. But their marriage ended in 2002 after the two grew apart.

Soon after, Heidi got involved with the Italian businessman and a huge name in Formula 1, Flavio Briatore. In May 2004, Heidi gave birth to her daughter Helene, but father Briatore wasn’t present as the couple broke up shortly after Heidi announced her pregnancy in December 2003. At the time she brought her girl into the world, the famous model was dating musician Seal.

In 2005, Heidi and Seal tied the knot in Mexico.

“Seal and I feel very lucky that we found each other. He’s my best friend. He would never go in through a door first. He always opens the door for me and steps back so I walk through,” she said. The couple had three biological children together, Henry, Johan and Lou, and Seal officially adopted Helene ‘Leni’ in 2009.

What Heidi and Seal had was described as special and unique by many. They were very much in love and were considered one of the best and cutest celebrity couples. “I’m sure people say things or write things about us. But we don’t look at that, and it’s better that way,” Heidi, who sometimes referred to her and her husband as the “colorful” couple once said.

Sadly, after seven years of marriage, the model filed for divorce in 2012.

“While we enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching, we have decided to separate,” the couple said in a statement.

“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.”

However, despite the love and respect they had for one another, they apparently didn’t have a prenup, so everyone expected for things to heat up when the time came for their assets to be divided. Magazines were writing at the time that Heidi was worth between $50 and $70 million, while Seal’s net worth was around $15 million.

Both Heidi and Seal showed the world that no money would ever stand on their way of remaining on good terms for the sake of their kids. Just after the divorce, which took three years to be finalized, they signed a postnup. They also showed they were mature when it came to the custody of their children which is still “a confidential information.” What is known, however, is that neither of them have requested spousal support, according to the American blogger Perez Hilton. He labeled Heidi and Seal’s divorce “the easiest breakup.”

The only thing Heidi asked for was to get her name back. When she got married, she took her husband’s surname, Samuel, and once she untied the knot, she became Klum again.

From what has been known, the kids are spending most of their time with Heidi, although their parents share the custody. However, just recently, amid the coronavirus pandemic, Heidi filed an emergency motion after Seal wouldn’t let her take them to Germany where she has been currently working. Eventually, they came to an agreement and Heidi was allowed to go to Germany together with her kids and Seal was given the right to see them before and after their trip. He was also entitled to visit his kids in Germany and Heidi “shall cooperate and work together to make arrangements for.”

In 2019, Heidi married guitarist Tom Kaulitz from the German rock band Tokio Hotel. She said she feels very happy and as though she has a partner for the first time in her life. Interestingly enough, Seal said something very similar about the new person in his life.

They were trying to conceive for more than eight years and spent most of their savings on expensive treatments that would help them become a mom and a dad.

Back in 2014, they decided to undergo an IVF therapy that would hopefully help them make their dream come true.

Both of them were very eager to learn whether the treatment worked or not, but were at the same time scared of hearing bad news.

When they went to the hospital, Tyson decided to film the moment when the doctors tell them whether the IVF treatment was successful or not because he really wanted to film his wife’s reaction in case they were told they would become parents. Tyson was somehow sure that it will work for the best this time, and he was right.

The so much-anticipated news finally came and the couple was over the moon.

All this family was hoping for was to have a child, but they never assumed that God would give them way more than that.

The ultrasound showed not one, two, or three, but four babies.

What’s more, they were expecting two sets of identical twins.

“When we first found out we were having quadruplets, it was pure terror and pure joy at the same time,” Ashley said on her website.

“The doctors said we only had a 40% chance of having one baby, so to have all four to come at once was a huge blessing and a huge miracle.”

Doctors said that Ashley’s pregnancy was sort of a miracle because it only occurs once in 70 million cases.

This was all overwhelming for the parents-to-be but they were more than happy to take on the role of mom and dad and start the adventure of parenthood along with their bundles of joy.

Carrying four babies wasn’t at all easy, but the thought of having them in her arms made Ashley pull through. Luckily, the delivery went smoothly and there were no complications.

“But I didn’t know anyone who’d had quadruplets. I didn’t know if it was physically possible for a woman, I knew nothing about it. I had vertigo and morning sickness for the first 16 weeks. I couldn’t eat anything and I lost 20 pounds in my first trimester. My body hurt, my bones hurt and my hips would dislocate every time I rolled over.”

Babies Evangeline, Indie, Esme and Scarlet said hi to the world and were perfectly healthy.

Learning of Ashley’s miraculous pregnancy, many media and TV shows picked up their story and invited them to be their guests.

People sent the Gardners their best wishes along with a bunch of clothes and other supplies for the babies as they were aware the family would have troubles covering all the expenses.

“My heart was truly touched by the amount of nappies and baby outfits that turned up by our door when they were born,” Ashley said. “There really are amazing, kind, good people out there and I’m so grateful to those who follow our story and love these babies.”

This family is definitely one of the most adorable we’ve ever met. The little girls are cute beyond words and are lucky to have such caring and loving parents like Ashley and Tyson.

Jack Nicholson’s career in the movie industry is beyond impressive. He’s one of two actors ever to be nominated for the prestigious award Oscar every decade from the 1960s through the early 2000s.

Over the span of 60 years, Nicholson played remarkable roles. His distinctive eyebrows, awesome looks, and deep voice made him the perfect fit for the roles of many villains. Of course, he has never limited himself in playing just certain kinds of characters, but showed versatility not many can achieve.

Nicholson got into the world of movies when he made his debut in the low-budget crime flick Cry Baby Killer in 1958, playing a teenager who mistakenly believes he committed murder. From that moment on, the sky was the limit for young and talented Nicholson who will later be widely regarded as one of the greatest actors of his generation and beyond.

Today, Nicholson is 83-years-old and retired from acting. And although everyone knows him best for his talent and successful career, there is a story of his personal life that many people find intriguing.

Most of his life, Nicholson believed that his grandparents were his parents when in fact he was the son of their daughter June whom they presented to Nicholas as his sister. It took 37 years for him to learn that June was in fact his biological mother.

The truth was revealed when a Time Magazine reporter asked Nicholson about that. He refused to believe something like that could be true, but then his other sister Lorraine who was actually his aunt confirmed the reporter’s story.

His mother and grandma took the secret to their graves and he didn’t get the chance to confront them.

Speaking of the secret that had been kept from him for so long, Nicholson said, “It was pretty dramatic event, but it wasn’t what I’d call traumatizing…I was pretty well psychologically formed.”

Allegedly, when June gave birth to Nicholas, she was just 18 years old and wasn’t married, so her parents presented her son as their own.

There were many speculations about who Nicholson’s father could be, but nothing was ever confirmed.

Nicholson seemed not to be mad or bitter at his mom and grandmother for keeping the secret. He was reported saying, “I didn’t have to deal with it with them. They were dead. I am that kind of person-what do I feel-and had the tools to know what I feel. Gratitude. I’ve often said about them: Show me any women today who could keep a secret, confidence, or an intimacy to that degree, you got my kind of gal.”

We believe that how he dealt with the huge revelation speaks a lot about him as a human being. Nicholson isn’t just one of the greatest actors of all time, but an incredible individual as well.

Oprah Winfrey admits she doesn’t have many friends, only close ones

Whether you like her or not, one thing about Oprah Winfrey we all have to agree about is that she is one hell of a show host.

However, her life hasn’t always been an easy one. She was forced to go thorough some harsh times when she was very young, but those experiences only made her stronger and more determined to succeed.

Oprah is in a relationship with her partner of many years, Stedman Graham. In fact, the two have been engaged for 29 years, but never said I do. Some magazines were speculating that the couple is planning to tie the knot at an intimate ceremony in their lavish Montesito home but they haven’t commented on the rumors.

The truth is that they have both said many times in the past that getting married could only complicate things and that if they had married, their relationship wouldn’t have lasted.

Throughout her career, Oprah interviewed a number of influential people, including Michael Jackson, President Barack Obama, Whitney Houston, Harry and Meghan, and a lot more.

At the start of her career, Oprah was one of the few women in predominantly male industry. That, however, never stood on her way of rising to stardom.

In 2011, after 25 successful years, she decided to end the worldwide famous The Oprah Winfrey Show. But that didn’t mean the end of her career.

“I love this show, this show has been my life, and I love it enough to know when it’s time to say goodbye,” she said. “Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and it feels right in my spirit. It’s the perfect number. It’s the exact right time.”

Her show won eight Daytime Emmy Awards and brought Oprah a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011. She also earned the People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Talkshow Host” four times. In 2013, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama.

Speaking of her private life, Oprah revealed that she doesn’t have many friends. On her podcast Making Space, she explained, “So, I don’t have a lot of friends. Everybody knows Gayle [King]. There’s Gayle, there’s Maria, there’s Bob [Greene]. And that’s, that’s about it, you know? Gayle and Maria I met around the same time and I never really expanded that circle. Until recently, I’ve become friends with a couple of people in my later adult life, in the past five years.”

She believes it’s not important to have a great number of close people around you, but for those few to be real ones.

Ever since her friend Gayle got divorced back in 1994, she’s been the “third wheel” in the relationship between Oprah and Graham.

“I’m a proud third wheeler,” Gayle told ET. “I make no apologies for that. I got divorced back in 1994 and I’ve been their third wheel ever since. The good news is that Stedman is always very welcoming, so it never occurs to me when she says, ‘We’re going to so and so,’ I’m like, ‘When?’

“It doesn’t occur to me that I’m not invited,” she added. “But throughout the years, we’ve gone on some great trips together. And that’s not gonna change.”

Oprah and Graham don’t have any children, and they are perfectly fine with their decision because that’s something they both wanted.

“He’s never demanding anything from me like, ‘Where’s my breakfast? Where’s my dinner?’ Never any of that, which I believed would have changed had we married,” Oprah Winfrey said of her fiancé, according to Yahoo.

“No question about it — we would not stay married, because of what that would have meant to him, and I would have had my own ideas about it. I have not had one regret about that.

“At one point in Chicago, I had bought an additional apartment because I was thinking, ‘Well, if we get married, I’m going to need room for children,’” she added.

Oprah said she believed motherhood requires responsibility and “sacrifice.”

“I realized, ‘Whoa, I’m talking to a lot of messed-up people, and they are messed up because they had mothers and fathers who were not aware of how serious that job is,’” she told People.

“I don’t have the ability to compartmentalize the way I see other women do. It is why, throughout my years, I have had the highest regard for women who choose to be at home with their kids, because I don’t know how you do that all day long. Nobody gives women the credit they deserve.”

Pilot calls out elderly woman on plane making her cry when he comes near her seat

“A mother is an angel is disguise,” they say, and I am positive everyone agrees with this saying.

Mothers always hold a special place in their children’s hearts and lives. They are caring, loving, patient, and would do anything for their children’s well-being. That said, we should always find the time to remind them how much we love them and how much they mean to us while we still can.

Michelle A and her brother, who is a pilot for United Airlines, surprised their mother in a way she never expected.

Namely, Michelle and her mom were on board, but the mother had no idea her son was the captain pilot on the flight. As she got into her seat, the pilot announced that there was a special passenger on board. He then said, “If you were a Capital Airlines stewardess, would you mind raising your hand?”

Michelle’s mom was surprised. She used to work as a flight attendant for Capital Airlines some 60 years ago before they merged with United Airlines because she wanted to focus on raising her three children.

The mom raised her hand, not knowing what was going on. Her son, the pilot, then said that she was the greatest mom ever.

As everyone was clapping, the mom couldn’t contain her emotions. A moment later, the pilot came to her and gave her a big hug, reminding her just how much he loved her.

“You had the greatest dad ever,” she said to him and then turned to the passengers in the seats beside her and added, “His father was a pilot.”

People loved the video so very much that it reached over 26 million views. It looks like everyone loves seeing a mom being thanked for everything she does for her family.

“You know life’s too short not say how you feel about your parents. I have the upmost respect for this Captain/son to do this for your Mom. I lost my mom way too soon to cancer so this means everything to me, I have the upmost respect for the captain to do what he did,” one viewer wrote.

Another, who happened to know the pilot personally, added, “I LOVE HIM!!!!! HE is my favorite Captain on United… extremely professional and kind to passengers. When I started out as a flight attendant, he was patient unlike other pilots lol. His mom must be incredibly proud for raising a fine gentleman!! Beautiful video and heartwarming. Thank you for sharing. We need more Captains like him!!! ❤”

13-year-old prodigy aims to prove Stephen Hawking wrong about God with beautiful counter-theory

Faith in God is a personal choice. While some people’s trust in the divine is infinite, some deny God’s existence.

13-year-old William Maillis is a prodigy. He finished high school at the age of just nine and graduated from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. When he was just five years old, William could finish a 209-page geometry textbook in a single night.

In the future, he sees himself as an astrophysicist who would prove the existence of God.

Although he’s still very young, William challenged the theory of late Stephen Hawking who used to say: “Before we understood science, it was natural to believe that God created the universe, but now, science offers a more convincing explanation. What I meant by ‘we would know the mind of God’ is we would know everything that God would know if there was a God, but there isn’t. I’m an atheist.”

William on the other hand says, “We know the universe has an age, right? 13.8 billion years. So, 13.8 billion years ago, the entire universe was reduced to a singularity, a particle smaller than a quark.”

He then adds, “However, if gravity is always working, i.e.: if you jumped off this building, you’re not going to fall 15 seconds later, you’re going to fall immediately, so, if gravity was always working, and the singularity was always there […] then the universe should have no age, it should be infinitely old. But it’s not, it’s 13.8 billion years old.

“And something can’t come from nothing, because it would have to exist in order to cause itself to exist, which is illogical. So, therefore, something other must have created the singularity, and that something other me observe as God.”

His beliefs also have to do with the fact that his father is a preacher who taught him that there is a powerful force behind the creation of the universe. William is convinced that force is God himself.

Bill Hudson claims Goldie Hawn “poisoned” the kids against him

One thing which comes with fame is the media exposure. Many celebs have a hard time keeping their personal lives away from the public eye and the Hudsons aren’t an exception.

Kate Hudson and brother Oliver Hudson seem to have a perfect relationship with their mom, Goldie Hawn, and her partner of many years, Kurt Russell, whom they both call Pa.

When he started his relationship with Goldie, Kurt stepped in and became a father figure in the lives of her children. Both Kate and Oliver love Kurt very much and never miss a chance to remind him of that.

When it comes to their biological dad, Bill Hudson, things aren’t that well. Bill accuses Goldie of his troubled relationship with his children.

“From the moment Kurt came on the scene my role as father to Kate and Oliver was usurped. Goldie told the kids to call him ‘Pa’. She began to craft this happy family unit,” he told the Daily Mail in 2011.

“By this time she was a major star, America’s sweetheart. She needed a ‘narrative’ and I became the big bad wolf.”

Further, Bill claimed that it was Goldie, not him, who “walked out” on the family.

“But Goldie and Kurt thwarted me at every turn. I feel they used their money to take the kids away from me,” he said. “Kate grew up a pampered Hollywood princess. She needed some drama in her back story and I became that drama.”

The relationship escalated in 2015 when Oliver posted a photo on Father’s Day of Bill, Kate, and himself with the caption “Happy Abandonment Day.” Kate, on the other hand, posted a photo of Kurt, calling him dad and thanking him for being their father.

This infuriated Bill who took to the social media and said Kate and Oliver are “dead” to him, asking from them not to use his last name.

“I had five birth children but I now consider myself a father of three, I no longer recognize Oliver and Kate as my own,” Hudson said.

“I would ask them to stop using the Hudson name. They are no longer a part of my life. Oliver’s Instagram post was a malicious, vicious, premeditated attack. He is dead to me now. As is Kate. I am mourning their loss even though they are still walking this earth,” he said. Later, he added that it was his ex-wife who poisoned the kids against him, calling her “manipulative, cruel, and selfish.”

Further, in his book 2 Versions: The Other Side Of Fame & Family, Bill wrote:

“I never wanted to get into a public slanging match but I have other children now and they deserve the right to get to know Kate and Oliver and I want the world to know the truth about Goldie.

“I am sick and tired of her portraying this squeaky-clean image to the world when the reality of her life is so different, I have done this book because I want to show the flip side of the Hollywood dream.”

Although they don’t want to have anything with their biological dad, both Kate and Oliver feel like they should connect to his three children from his marriage to Cindy Williams.

On their podcast, Kate and Oliver spoke of their half-siblings.

“I was thinking about how everybody’s getting older,” Kate said. “I just had this moment of like, it would be nice to connect a little bit, especially with my sisters.

“We’ve been talking so much about sibling relationships, and distraught relationships,” Kate Hudson continued. “And we’re sitting here like, we’ve got the best family, we’re so great. And yet, we don’t ever acknowledge the fact that we have four other siblings — four. So I’ve been thinking a lot about the Hudsons. Thinking that it’s important that we reach out with all of our siblings and maybe connect with them a little bit.”

Oprah Winfrey speaks of her decision not to get married to her partner of 30 years and shares photos of her $100 million property

The great Oprah Winfrey remains until this day one of the women who made history and a revolution in the entertainment industry. She is a pioneer who first stepped foot in a world which consisted of all white males when she started hosting The Oprah Winfrey Show, which aired for 25 years.

Oprah’s childhood was rough. As a teenager of just 14, she was sexually abused and became pregnant. She gave birth to a son who was born prematurely and died shortly after. After that, she never had children.

Born in the small town of Kosciusko, Mississippi, on January 29, 1943, she didn’t seem to have any real chances of doing something with her life, so her decision to move to Nashville with her father and her stepmother turned to be the best she has ever made.

She never kept quiet of the abuse she suffered. Instead, she spoke openly of those who hurt her, and instead feeling hate towards them, she says the stuggles they caused her somehow helped her become the woman she is today. Speaking to the Readers Digest, the most famous host and The Color Purple actress, said, “Being 14 was a very difficult time for me, it was rough. And had I had guidance at that age, my life might have been very different.”

“But I do believe, from the lowest moments in your life, the deepest pits where you don’t understand it, every single moment of emotional destitution, where you couldn’t see a way out… I believe every moment is a building block and another step in your journey to being who you are meant to be, and who you are meant to become.”

Once in Nashville, Oprah won the Miss Black Tennessee beauty pageant when she was 17.

It helped her get a job at the local radio that organized the contest. She got her first job on the television after she moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where she began co-anchoring the six o’clock headlines on WJZ-TV. However, after some time, her mentor, who was an editor and yelled at her every single day, moved her to read the news instead of being a host. She recalls those times, saying, “I used to go to work every day shaking with fear, saying ‘I know I’m going to be fired’.”

“I wasn’t a great writer, I wasn’t fast enough. In the end I didn’t get fired, but I did get demoted to the talk show … which was seen as a big demotion in those days. And that’s where it all began. So, I thank him. He was inadvertently a guiding light!”

Then, in 1986, after working as a host of the TV show People Are Talking, talented Oprah found herself hosting AM Chicago which was soon renamed to The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Over the course of the 25 years, Oprah welcomed over 37,000 guests and had that many interviews with different people, from ordinary to celebrities and presidents.

One of her most memorable interviews ever, which was watched by over 90 million people, was that with legendary Michael Jackson. He opened the doors to Neverland to Oprah who described the experience as unique and exciting. “We are coming in the gates of Neverland, and it’s like a moment in The Wizard of Oz. It was literally like going to see the wizard. We couldn’t believe it. I felt like a kid.”

The Oprah Winfrey Show ended in 2011 and it marked the end of an era. It won a total of eight Daytime Emmy Awards and Oprah received the Lifetime Achievement Award and People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Talk show Host” four times. For all she did as a host, and all those people she helped, Oprah received the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama in 2013.

Oprah is a very special woman with a heart of gold. A humanitarian who made a change in the life of ordinary people and gave numerous surprises to those who were lucky enough to be part of her audience. Oprah calls her home The Promised Land and here’s the story behind the name. One day, as she and her friend Bob Greene, who is a fitness guru as well, said the place needed a name because it represented something huge in every sense of the word.

“He goes, ‘You need a better name. The fact that you are an African-American woman from Mississippi and you get to have this . . . it’s deep,’ ” Oprah recalled speaking to Vogue. “So I go, ‘Yeah! It’s like a dream.’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah! It’s a promise, it’s the Promised Land!’ So I feel that every day. I don’t know of a person who can honestly, deeply, profoundly speak to the word contentment.”

Down her lane, which she calls the Hallelujah Lane, there are 12 oak trees Oprah refers to as to the 12 Apostles. Her tearoom faces a stunning view of Montecito, towards the Pacific Ocean, and she has her own garden that she harvests herself. She also has a garden full of roses and thousands of white hydrangeas along Hallelujah Lane which are a tribute to her grandmother who had a single hydrangea in front of her porch which she admired.

Oprah says her home is the only place where she feels like herself. Speaking to Veranda, she said: “I’ve done many interviews with people who had to lose what they had in order to value what they still have. Sometimes I stand under the arbor, close my eyes, and allow myself to take in as much as I can: I hear birds splashing in the fountain and literally smell the roses. This garden makes me present.”

Deputy single-handedly lifts SUV and saves mom from being crushed in front of horrified children

Not all heroes wear capes, some come in the form of police officers who go above and beyond for the safety of those they sworn to protect.

Deputy Jon Holt has proved many times before that he is more than ready to step up for people in trouble, and this time, when one mother lost control on her SUV and crashed on the side of the road, wasn’t any different.

Holt was on his way back from a call when he noticed the flipped vehicle which landed upside down and trapped the mother underneath. The poor woman was struggling to gasp for air as her two frightened children were screaming for help. The incident took place on George Washington Memorial Highway in Gloucester, Virginia.

“I see the female laying with her head pinned underneath the vehicle,” Deputy Holt recalled speaking to WRIC.

“I have to be that reassuring figure, even though inside I’m frantically figuring out what I need to do,” he added. “At that point, I put my shoulder into the door frame and all I’m thinking to myself is ‘I just have to stand up.’”

The vehicle weighted around 4,000 pounds, and Holt knew he needed to find a way to save the mother. “You can’t let a child see their mom pass away,” he explained.

Luckily, he managed to lift the car for a few seconds, enough for the mother to release herself.

The entire incident could be seen on his body camera, which was rolling the entire time.

Realizing the woman was now safe, Holt couldn’t believe what had happened. He later said there was an angel by his side who gave him strength.

Back in 2020, this amazing man received the regional award “Top Cop” for saving an entire family from a burning home. A year before that, he performed CPR on a man and saved his life.

Although he’s dubbed a real life hero by the entire community, Holt says he isn’t one. “I’m no hero,” he said. “I’m just an average cop that gets put in extraordinary situations.”

Susan’s colleague, David Cassidy, who played Keith in the show, quickly became a teen idol whom many girls adored. Among all those women who were crazy about him was Susan herself. She had a crush on him for a longer period of time, but the two only started dating after the show was over. Their relationship didn’t last long and they remained good friends until David published his book, C’mon, Get Happy: Fear and Loathing on the Partridge Family Bus, where he shared some intimate details of his relationship with Susan. Among the rest, he said he ended what he had with her because she was too innocent for him.

According to Worldation.com, Susan turned down the role of Sandy in Grease and Olivia Newton John, who played that role, was offered the role of Laurie in “The Partridge Family” but her manager convinced her not to accept it.

Today, Susan is enjoying a quiet life with her husband and their family in New York where she grew up. She’s no longer under the limelight but she’ll always remain someone who made our young years awesome. No one really forgets such series as “The Partridge Family” no matter how much time passes.

77-year-old janitor lady who never had a birthday party gets surprised by school staff

Frances Buzzard from West Virginia is everything but an ordinary janitor. Even though she is 77 years old, she is so vibrant and energetic that everyone at the elementary school where she works admires her lovely personality and her work ethic.

Feeling like she deserves her contribution for the Belle Elementary School to be awarded, the principal of the institution tried to dig into Frances’ past in order to learn more about what she really likes. But what she discovered was a sad secret Frances was keeping from everyone for so long.

The sad truth was that this amazing woman has never had a birthday party in her life.

The staff, along with the students, wanted this to change and they knew that throwing a birthday party was the least they could do. Miss Frances had no idea what the students were up to so when she heard her name being called over the loudspeakers, she thought there was something she had to take care of at the school cafeteria.

Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine that she would have her first ever party at the age of 77. As she entered the place, her heart got filled with joy and excitement as more than 200 students greeted her by shouting “surprise” and singing “Happy Birthday.” Frances couldn’t believe all those people were there just for her.

It was her special day and all those cupcakes were just for her. It was her time to be in the center of the attention for all the right reasons, her big heart and kind personality. She was brought to the center of the room where there was a huge screen showing photos of Frances attending special historical events such as the moon landing and her standing next to Neil Armstrong or having fun at Woodstock, and the sight was hilarious to watch.

Frances’ parents were poor and they couldn’t afford to give her a proper birthday party. They didn’t even celebrate Christmas back then. She recalled:

“I don’t remember any. They didn’t do things like that. We didn’t have Christmas parties either. They would get us fruits and nuts when they could afford it.”

She also added that they actually tried to prepare a party for her once but nobody showed up because of the cold weather.

This was one of the most important days of her life. It’s a day she will never forget, because today was all about her. All those people were there to celebrate her life and to make sure she knows how loved and appreciated she is.

Meaningful tattoos of parents dedicated to their children

Tattoos represent a permanent reminder of something powerful that took place in person’s life. Their meaning can be deep and meaningful. On top of that, tattoos are special form of art, most times unique and very personal.

The following stories involving tattoos and the meaning behind them are heartwarming because they represent the bond between parents and their children. Beautiful indeed.

1. Steven and Gloria Kimmel had a son named Issac. The boy’s health was fragile from the beginning. Before even turning one, Issac got pneumonia and didn’t make it. His parents were left heartbroken. He lived shortly, but touched their lives forever. In memory of him, they tattooed angel wings on their backs.

When their daughter Claire was born, they posed for a beautiful photo, placing her between them and giving her the wings which honored the brother she never met.

“The tattoo was meant to be his angel wings. He was half of each of us, so we each had one of his wings to hold us. He was the angel that was holding us together when we were so lost without him. The tattoos are a reminder that he is always with us in spirit,” Steven said.

The two tattoos which fuse in one are a perfect reminder that Isaac is in heaven, among the angels.

2. Honey-Rae Phillips is a girl born with a huge red mark all over her leg. Knowing how judgmental people can be of those that are somehow different, her parents, Adam and Tonya, were aware there could be mean comments and stares. In order to assure their little girl they would be there for her every step of the way, they tattooed a replica of Honey-Rae birthmark on their legs. Cute beyond words.

3. A man named Ian experienced the worst form of heartbreak. His wife and his six-year-old daughter Mya were killed in a car crash. Days before the accident, his little girl wrote a letter to him which read:

“To daddy, I love you more then enything. Lots of love, Mya…”

She included little hearts and kisses. After her passing, Ian tattooed his little angel’s letter on his hand, to remind him how much his daughter loved him and cared for him.

4. A girl named Charlotte had a hard time communicating with her parents. Soon after, the family was told that she was deaf. As a result, she needed to wear a cochlear implant attached to her left ear. In order to show his support, her father shaved his head and tattooed an implant just like the one Charlotte needed to wear.

When she first saw it her daddy’s tattoo, Charlotte took a closer look, touched it, and said it looked “Cool.”

5. 8-year-old Gabriel Marshall of Kansas had a brain tumor. Luckily, it was operable and doctors were able to remove it, leaving sweet Gabriel with a scar on the head.

Just like most people in his position, he felt self-conscious and even thought the scar made him look ugly.

In order to make him feel a bit better about himself, Gabriel’s father, Josh, got a tattoo of his son’s scar so that Gabriel wouldn’t feel alone. “If people want to stare, then they can stare at both of us,” Josh said.

All these parents went above and beyond for their children, and we honestly believe that’s what parenting is all about!

Devoted dad gets his daughter back eight months after she was adopted without his permission

One South Carolina father was forced to go through hell after his daughter was put up for adoption and ended up with a new family without his knowledge.

Christopher Emanuel spent eight long months fighting at court until he was able to embrace his girl again and hear her call him dad. He wasn’t sure whether Skylar would be returned to him, but he never gave up.

All parties involved are not without fault in #thwarting me and violating my Constitutional, State and God given rights…

Namely, Christopher asked for his name to be written on the state’s responsible fatherhood registry. This way, he knew he would be notified if his ex-girlfriend, Skylar’s mom, tried to give the girl for adoption, something she obviously planned on doing the entire time.

Sadly, a couple of days after he made this request, a Southern California family filed to adopt Skylar, and Christopher’s name was listed nowhere in the paperwork.

Speaking to the news station WACH, Christopher explained that he was feeling completely devastated and lost as all he ever wanted was to be a great dad.

“My daughter was in San Diego, California, with the perspective adoptive couple where her name is changed. I have medical documentation calling my daughter another name and she was never legally adopted,” Christopher said, according to ABC4 News.

Luckily, court records showed that his paternal rights were terminated without his permission and he was granted a sole custody of his daughter.

Today, the two live together and are very happy. Christopher founded the Sky is the Limit Foundation whose goal is to teach fathers of their paternal rights. He and Skylar are travelling all across the country and are helping fathers in need.

Mark Wahlberg starts every day with a prayer: ”Faith makes me a better dad”

Mark Wahlberg may look like a tough guy, but in reality, he’s a very kind and grounded individual, a wonderful husband and a father, and a devoted Christian.

The Ted star had a rough childhood and started abusing drugs when he was very young. He was also involved in stealing and hit the rock bottom when he ended up in jail for beating someone. Wahlberg dropped out of college and joined the group New Kids on the Block along with his brother Donnie and tried himself as a rapper with the groups Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.

Soon after, he switched to acting and we are glad he did, because he has given the film industry some pretty incredible performances which made him one of the best paid actors in Hollywood.

In 1993, Wahlberg starred in the movie The Substitute, after which he made his big debut in Renaissance Man where he played an army recruit. What followed was his breakthrough role in the 1995 movie The Basketball Diaries, and the rest is history. From The Perfect Storm, The Yards, Rock Star, I Heart Huckabees, to The Fighter, Transformers: Age of Extinction, this incredible actor has done it all, and he’s yet to treat his fans from all over the world with remarkable roles in the years to come.

Wahlberg is married to former Victoria Secret model Rhea Durham. The two started dating back in 2001 and tied the knot some eight years later. They have four children together, Ella, Brendan, Michael, and Grace.

Speaking of his wife, the A-list actor says: “I owe a lot to my wife. She has helped me become the man that I am and created a beautiful life for me and our children”, as per The Sun.

“I also knew that she loved me for who I am and that she was someone I could trust. Until I met her, I wasn’t ready to have a family.”

Wahlberg is a loving father who is committed to his family and God. Recently, he said that he’s taking two days a week off from hitting the gym, but never takes a rest from praying to God.

“I take two days a week off from the gym now,” he told MSN News. “I don’t take a day off from getting on my hands and my knees, from reading my prayer book and my daily devotionals.”

“I pray for the patience,” Wahlberg added. “I want to be an example, with my work ethic, with my commitment to my faith, with my commitment to my family.

“I’ve been put in this position for a reason, it’s not to forget about where I came from. I have to utilize these talents and gifts that have been given to me to help others.”

We are glad Wahlberg found the strength to turn his life around for the better and became the man he is today.

Girl with fuzzy hair loves the fact that she is unique

When Shilah Madison Calvert-Yin was born, her parents were over the moon. They already had a son, and this sweet little lady was just the perfect addition to the family.

At first, she looked just like any other child out there, but once her hair fell off and was replaced by new, quite different one, her parents were both impressed and confused.

”She was picture perfect, blonde hair, blue eyes, so cliché,” Shilah’s mother Celeste told Love What Matters.

When the girl turned 3 months old, the parents realized that her hair grew straight instead of down. Of course, Shilah’s mom and dad thought she looked extremely cute and didn’t pay much attention until strangers started starring at their girl on the street and made comments regarding her fuzzy hair.

”It didn’t seem to calm or settle, but I didn’t really think anything of it until people started to make comments,” Celeste told Daily Mail.

All of a sudden, everyone who stumbled upon Shilah wanted to know what was wrong with her hair. These comments were upsetting for Celeste and her husband.

“It was hurtful and sometimes quite rude, but I’m sure they were just being ignorant and insensitive,” the worried mother told Love What Matters.

“Then there were the people who were complete strangers that would peer into her stroller, stare at her and make comments about her everywhere we went. ‘Looks like she stuck her finger in the power socket,’ was a frequent comment.”

They certainly didn’t want their girl to be teased because of her hair. Growing up, Shilah learned to love the way she looked. Whenever her friends at childcare asked her why her hair looked the way it did, this sweet young lady would answer because she was “magical and special.”

“She’d make sweet remarks like, ‘Just call me fuzzy. Some days I look like a lion with a crazy mane,” her Sheila’s mom shared.

When she grew older, Sheila wished she had hair like her friends. One time, she got so frustrated that she cut her hair all by herself.

”I was more distraught than she was, she decided that she was sick of her hair sticking straight up but when she cut short it the opposite happened and it became more spiky. That’s the only haircut she’s ever had,” Celeste said.

As she couldn’t give her girl an appropriate hairstyle, Celeste took her to numerous hairdressers, but no one was able to do anything. Someone even suggested visiting a salon which specialized in Afro hair but that didn’t help much either.

”Her hair is not like African hair; it is still very soft and doesn’t need oil or a deep condition, and any heat treatment will break it,” the mom explained.

As years passed by, Shilah even learned how to respond with a smile to all the comments she received. Even when she was compared to Albert Einstein or Doc Brown from Back to the Future.

One day, Celeste took her daughter to the dentist, and that’s when the two learned of the Uncombable Hair Syndrome (UHS), something Sheila had.

“The doctor explained that UHS was caused by a gene mutation and it involves silvery blonde or straw-colored hair that stands up from the scalp and can’t be combed flat. The doctor had researched UHS but had never met a child with the condition,” Celeste said of the day she learned what caused her daughter’s hair to be fuzzy.

“I was shocked, teary, and excited all at the same time, finally a possible answer to all those years of questions. The doctor was just as excited.”

Once they finally learned the truth behind Sheila’s unique appearance, her parents decided to open an Instagram account and share the knowledge with others who have the condition.

”People are constantly reaching out for advice and sending photos of their kids in the hope that they too may have found the answer. This is truly humbling,” Celeste said.

School bus driver doesn’t think photo of her holding boy’s hand is a big deal until police see it

Getting separated from the parents can be a dreadful experience for any child, so going to school all by themselves is very stressful for many kids, especially at the beginning when they are not used to that new chapter of their life.

When sweet Axel Johnson was about to start school, he seemed very thrilled. His mother Amy took a photo of him and he was all smiles as he was waiting for the school bus to arrive.

But as the time came for him to get on board, his face changed and he was about to cry. Obviously, little Axel wasn’t as strong as he though he would be when he had to separate from his mommy.

The bus driver, Isabel Lane, noticed the change from happy to sad on Axel’s face, but she was determined to show him that there was nothing scary in riding the bus and attending school with a lot more children his age. So, as Axel sat on the seat behind her, Isabel stuck her hand behind and Axel clung on to her hand. It was a very sweet moment Amy managed to take a photo of.

Isabel showed that she wasn’t just a driver, but someone who cared for the children’s happiness. She wanted Axel to know that although his mom wasn’t there by his side, he could always count on her while on the bus. Her act assured the scared boy that everything was going to be just fine.

Amy though the photo of her son and the bus driver was so worth sharing so she posted it on Facebook. She did expect people to love it, but she had no idea that it will have so many positive comments.

The photo was even shared by the local police department where it reached over 2,400 reactions.

Isabel didn’t expect the praise she got. “I didn’t think it was like that big of a deal personally. I guess this is something that I would do,” she said.

But it was a big deal. The following day, Axel wasn’t scared any longer because he knew he had a friend in Isabel. He was all smiles and happy to be embarking on a new adventure.

Now, Axel is looking forward to each new day at school and Isabel played a big role in that.
