This story is so touching that it brings tears to our eyes. It speaks of one teenager’s selfless act during the most difficult of times.
In the midst of the battle for his life, 19-year-old Rhys Langford, who was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer, put all his savings towards helping a little boy, 6-year-old Jacob Jones, who has been battling neuroblastoma.
Jacob was diagnosed with the disease at the age of two. He was then cancer free for a year before his parents noticed something was wrong again. Sadly, the cancer returned.
When Rhys learned of Jacob’s life story, he was heartbroken. “Rhys found the story of little Jacob. He called me upstairs and he was crying in bed reading the story,” the teen’s mother Catherine recalled.
Initially, Rhys gave up £1,000 of his life savings to set up a fund and raise money for Jacob’s treatment in America.
“He said, ‘Mum, I want to donate some money to him. He’s six years of age and he’s been ill since he was two. I’d be over the moon if someone would save him.’ I couldn’t believe he was thinking about someone else when he’s on death’s door himself,” Catherine said of her selfless son.
The GoFundMepage dedicated to Jacob has raised £66,185 so far.
Although both boys are from Ebbow Vale in South Wales, the two never met, but that didn’t stop Rhys from helping as much as he could.
“Reading about little Jacob and his own fight and his cancer relapse has really upset me. I know nothing can be done for me now but as one of my many last wishes, I would like to help Jacob and help him fight this awful disease… Jacob is now six and has been fighting this disease most of his life. It should not be this way! Jacobs’ family is looking to raise money again for treatment. I have transferred £1000 to Jacobs family privately but it’s still not enough. Please help me, help Jacob! ❤️” the page read.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Rhys’ mother added: “He said, ‘There’s nothing more they can do for me so if I can help save this little boy.’ Our hearts are breaking because we are losing our son but bursting with pride because considering his diagnosis he is thinking of other people.”
Unfortunately, Rhys lost his battle.
“My warrior, my hero, my son, my baby, has given up his fight. He lay down his sword and died peacefully at home with all his family around him, he closed his eyes for the last time at around 7 p.m. yesterday evening,” his mother shared in a heartbreaking post.
Born on January 19, 1946, in Locust Ridge, Tennessee, as one of 12 children, Dolly Parton‘s family struggled to make ends meet at times, but they were very close and the children grew up in a loving home where music was always present.
Dolly’s mom had a lovely voice and sang to her kids whenever she could. Dolly herself started singing at the church when she was very young and was always excited to see an instrument. Her love for the music was so strong, that her uncle Lewis decided to give her his little Martin guitar, and she considered it her treasure. Her other uncle, Bill, helped her get into the music business, and by the age of 10, Dolly had already performed on local TV and radio stations in Knoxville, Tennessee.

When she turned 13, Dolly made her debut on the national country radio station, Grand Ole Opry.
Dolly was the first person in her family to graduate from high school, but she didn’t attend college because she wanted to fully focus on her music career. “I had a dream,” she recalled. “And I had a talent, I thought. And I really believed it was going to happen.” And it did happen as Dolly Parton’s name is until this day one of the most famous names in the music industry.

She knew that if she wanted to be heard, she should move to the center of the country music, Nashville. There, she worked with Porter Wagoner on The Porter Wagoner Show, and the duo became very popular. It was the start of a career which spans decades. What’s most, Dolly doesn’t seem like she’s planning to slow down. She’s still writing music and performing, and that’s awesome because we can never have enough of her voice, her music, and her energy.

Speaking of one of her most famous songs, Jolene, Dolly shared the story behind the name. “One night, I was on stage, and there was this beautiful little girl — she was probably 8 years old at the time,” she told NPR Music. “And she had this beautiful red hair, this beautiful skin, these beautiful green eyes, and she was looking up at me, holding, you know, for an autograph. I said, ‘Well, you’re the prettiest little thing I ever saw. So what is your name?’ And she said, ‘Jolene.’ And I said, ‘Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene. ‘That is pretty. That sounds like a song. I’m going to write a song about that.’”
As for the lyrics, they were inspired by a bank teller who had crush on Dolly’s husband and greatest love of her life, Carl Dean.
“She got this terrible crush on my husband,” Parton said. “And he just loved going to the bank because she paid him so much attention. It was kinda like a running joke between us — when I was saying, ‘Hell, you’re spending a lot of time at the bank. I don’t believe we’ve got that kind of money.’ So it’s really an innocent song all around, but sounds like a dreadful one.”

Jolene was nominated for two Grammy Awards for Best Female Country Vocal Performance (both studio and live version). Over the course of her career, Dolly has won eight Grammy Awards, has written over 3,000 songs, and has sold more than 100 million albums. She has topped the country chart 25 times.

When Dolly was 18, and already a famous singer, she met her husband of more than 50 years, charming Carl Dean. Speaking of their first encounter, Dean recalled how he knew he would marry her and how he thought she was the most beautiful girl.
They tied the knot in May, 1966, in a private ceremony in Ringgold, Georgia.
In 2016, on their 50 year anniversary, Dolly and Carl renew their vows. They are in love with one another as day one, but decided not to have children. Doll didn’t speak of this decision much, but recently, speaking on Today, she shared that she gave up having kids because of her career.
“I’ve made sacrifices, but I think, like I said, I believe what I know I’m supposed to do,” she said. “I’ve made the sacrifice of time… and not having time to spend with family, and you give up family and friends, vacation, and work without end, 24/7, 365, but you got to make the sacrifice.”

In one occasion, Dolly told The Guardian how she and Carl have always wondered how their children would look like.
However, although she doesn’t have kids on her own, Dolly is making sure millions of children receive high-quality books through her program. She says she started it because of her dad and added: “So, he got to live long enough to see it really take off and start doing good, and so he loved it when the kids called me the Book Lady. He was prouder of that than saying that my daughter’s a star: ‘My daughter’s the Book Lady,’” as per NCSL.
Dolly is a true legend. Besides being one of the most famous musicians of all time, she’s also an actress and one of the most caring and most beautiful women we know.
Wendy Williams started her career as a DJ and a radio host before she moved to television and rose to stardom.
Williams was born on July 18, 1964, in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Ever since she was a young girl, she felt like she stood out from the crowd. However, what she didn’t know at the time was that being sort of different would help her become the celebrity that she is today.
She used to describe herself as a “misfit.” In her memoir, Wendy’s Got The Heat, she wrote she was “the big girl in a family of perfect bodies.”
“I was a misfit basically from the time I came out of the womb,” she explained. “My parents are perfect, my sister, Wanda, who is seven years older than I am, is perfect. My brother, Tommy, the only boy and namesake to my father, is perfect. Then there is me.
“I was an outcast in my own home, and when I got to school, I didn’t quite fit in anywhere there, either,” she added. “I was the Black girl in a practically all-white school. And among the handful of Blacks, I was the ‘white girl,’ the outcast. I spent most of my youth in my room, rocking back and forth for endless hours, plotting my future. I knew that one day my being different would pay off.”

While at university, she never saw herself as part of a sorority. Instead, she got heavily involved with the student radio channel WRBB 104.9 FM. This experience only made her even more convinced that being a radio personality was her thing. At the same time, she knew she needed to work really hard in order to become successful and reach for the stars.
“It made it wonderful because I got involved with something that I thought, back at that time, would serve me better in the future than hanging out with a bunch of people at parties or even being a sorority girl. I got involved with something that would be germane to my future if I just focused,” she shared with WRBB.
Besides the student radio channel, Williams worked for other radios while at university. Then, in 1984, she became an intern for Matty in the Morning on KISS 108 in Boston. That was her first real job.

After becoming a famous DJ, Williams turned into a radio celebrity. She interviewed famous people and never asked soft questions, something which made her listeners fall for her even further. Williams earned a Billboard Radio Award and was honored as the R&B Major Market Radio Air Personality of the Year. Williams was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame once her radio show was over.
Later on, she turned to television with her show The Wendy Williams Experience on VH1 which attracted 12 million people daily.
In 2009, she started her show The Wendy Williams Show which brought her even more success and a nomination for an Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment four times.

Williams was married twice. Not much is known of her first husband with whom she stayed together for two years. Her second husband and the father of her only son has caused heartbreak at Williams over the years. Kevin Hunter has cheated on Williams, but she decided to forgive him each time.
They stayed together for 21 years before they finally filed for a divorce in 2019.
“If you told me when I was 25 years old or 30 years old that I would stay around for a cheater, I would have been like you are lying,” Williams told Essence.
“I’ve got way too much to offer a man to stick around for him cheating on me. At that particular time, I had my career in radio, I was making a great salary, I had vacation property of my very own, and the world was my oyster, so I definitely thought I wasn’t staying around for some cheating. But I did, and I don’t regret it.”

In 2017, it was revealed that Hunter cheated on Williams again, this time with a massage therapist named Sharina Hudson. It was also reported that he impregnated her.
“He’s my best friend, he’s my lover, he’s all this, and he’s all that,” Williams said at the time. “Anybody who’s been married for five minutes or 500 years, you know marriages have ebbs and flows. Marriages are not easy.”
However, they eventually divorced in 2020. As Hunter had equal shares in the Wendy Williams Productions Inc. and the two had shared property, they needed to split assets.

According to Page Six, she ended up with their New Jersey home which was listed for $1.7 million, but gave him $250,000. Further, he got their other home.
Williams and Hunter settled for her to be the sole owner of the Wendy Williams Productions Inc. and pay him for his shares.
She also kept him in on her insurance policy and will continue cover his health insurance. She also got the money from their joint account.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, the host is worth $40 million.
Koko, the gorilla we all loved so much, was one of the few apes that was able to communicate using Gorilla Sign Language, a modified version of the American Sign Language. But she became even more popular after she made friends we the man who will always be remembered not only as one of the greatest actors of all time, but an amazing humanitarian who made many laugh too, one and only Robin Williams.
The first encounter between Koko and Robin, that later turned into a special friendship, took place back in 2001.
Speaking of the unique opportunity to be around Koko, late Robin said, “I recently had a mind-altering experience communicating with a gorilla. Her name is Koko.”
Why Robin made a choice to pay Koko a visit in the first place was because he cared about others so very much and was always to go above and beyond to see both people and animals thriving. He learned Koko was devastated and depressed after her playmate died, so Robin somehow knew he could make a change in her life, and he was right.
Six months after she lost her childhood friend, Koko laughed for the first time when she met Robin.
The video of the two meeting is incredible. They look at each other and sit next to one another, holding hands and laughing.
“Notice that Robin made Koko smile — something she hadn’t done for over six months, ever since her childhood gorilla companion, Michael, passed away at the age of 27,” said Francine Patterson, Koko’s caregiver. as reported by Today.

Everyone could say they had fun and a huge impact on one another. Koko tried Robin’s glasses and “stole” his wallet.
“Robin’s ability to just ‘hang out’ with Koko, a gorilla, and in minutes become one of her closest friends, was extraordinary and unforgettable,” Patterson said. “But not only did Robin cheer up Koko, the effect was mutual, and Robin seemed transformed.”
“We shared something extraordinary – laughter. Koko understands spoken English and uses over a 1,000 to share her feelings and thoughts about daily events, life, love, even death,” Robin said at the time.
Koko was born at the San Francisco zoo and spend her whole life around humans whom she loved. Her caregivers reported that when she heard of Robin’s tragic passing, she signed, “cry.”
(SAN FRANCISCO | Koko the gorilla, who learned sign language, dies at 46) has been published on STL.News,…
Koko truly was a very special animal. Experts who got to work with her said her intelligence matched that of a 3-year-old child. She understood around 2,000 words of spoken English and expressed human-like behavior.
“Through mastery of sign language—the familiar hand speech of the deaf—Koko has made us, her human companions, aware not only that her breed is bright, but also that it shares sensitivities commonly held to be the prerogative of people,” Patterson said.
One of the most famous photographs of Koko which brought her even greater popularity is the one where she was posing with a camera, taking picture of herself in the mirror, which was on the cover of the National Geographic magazine published in 1978.
Cover gorilla for National Geographic Magazine, zoo-born Koko took this selfportrait in a mirror—hence the reversed…
What was even more incredible about this world-famous ape is that she had a cat pet that she took care of and raised like her own child, named All-ball. “The cat was a Manx and looked like a ball,” said Ron Cohn, a biologist with the foundation. “Koko likes to rhyme words in sign language.”
Once, Koko ripped a steel sink from the wall and signed, “the cat did it.” The relationship between Koko and All-ball is still dubbed as one of the most unusual and sweetest friendships between animals of different kind.

Machete saves the day yet again! The actor who played in a huge number of movies and is a true Hollywood legend, one and only Danny Trejo, showed us yet again why we all love him so much.
As he was on his way to have his car worked, he witnessed an accident. A driver went through a red light and crushed into another vehicle. Unfortunately, a grandmother and her special needs grandson found themselves trapped inside their overturned car.
Source: YouTube/ ABC7
Trejo rushed to help together with another witness named Monica Jackson. Having worked with children with special needs before, Trejo was aware he needed to make sure the boy stayed calm.
“He was panicked. I said OK, we have to use our superpowers. So he screamed ‘superpowers,’ and we started yelling ‘superpowers,” Trejo said. “I said do this, with the muscles. He said, ‘muscles’. We got kind of a bond. I kept facing him away from the accident.”

Firefighters arrived just in time to help release the grandmother. During her rescue, Trejo stayed by her grandson’s side.
Following the positive outcome, Trejo praised the first responders for their quick acting and reminded everyone of the importance of safety while driving.
“Pay attention. And the only thing that saved that little kidwas his car seat, honest to God,” the actor said.
Trejo is known as someone who does a lot for the community and for people in need. He is a great humanitarian and a drug counselor who helps many young people overcome their addiction. Being sober for over 50 years, he’s aware that the support of those around is crucial for staying on the right path.
He might look like a tough guy, but Trejo is in fact a person with a heart of gold and a gentle personality who works with a number of charities. Among the rest, he donates hundreds of meals from his restaurants Trejo’s Tacos. During the pandemic, he donated meals to frontline workers.
“Everything good that has happened to me has happened as a direct result of helping someone else,” he often says. We believe that’s a good rule to live by.
We wish more celebrities follow this actor’s example.

Can we ever repay mothers for everything they do for us? I guess not, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try doing that.
As a thank you for everything she did for him throughout the years, one devoted son from South Carolina decided to give his mother the surprise of her life. Malcolm Jenkins has been deaf since he turned three years old. Despite that, he has lived a fulfilling life and has a successful career.
After working hard for years, he could finally help his mother, Claudia Smith, 59, pay off her mortgage.
With the help of his two sisters, Natasha and Claudia, named after her mom, he managed to make his mother’s day in the best way possible.
They told her how they were making a small contribution towards her mortgage payment and called the bank to inform them about that while the mother was listening. But instead of a tiny contribution, Natasha told the bank representative: “I actually want to use it to pay off the account.” Claudia couldn’t believe her ears. Her initial reaction was a loud “What???” followed by a happy dance.
“My brother lost his hearing at three years old, but that never stopped him from living and excelling in life. He saved his money from working to do something like this for our mother,” Natasha said of her brother’s lovely gesture. “My mom made sure as we all grew up that there was nothing we could not accomplish despite any odds that may have been stacked up against us. He is a true example of doing anything you put your mind to. The moment her mortgage was paid off was priceless!”
We are so glad this beautiful surprise was caught on tape. A lot of people commented under it saying that Claudia raised her children right.
“We can never repay her for all of the sacrifices she has made for us over the years – there is no monetary amount large enough to do that,” Natasha told Happily News. “To this day she is a great support to all of us with anything we want to do, we are all adults but she is still as present as she was when we were growing up. We love her wholeheartedly and this was just a small way to show her that,” she added.
Dogs are man’s best friend, and that’s the only truth when these incredibly friendly animals are in question. Their love for their humans is overwhelming and genuine. Dogs truly make the best pets one could ask for. Besides being loyal to the core, dogs are also very intelligent.
When they are forced to live on the streets, they are able to fend for themselves. They are capable of looking for food and shelter as well as help from humans, just like the canine from this story.
The day started like any other for Dayse Ferreira, a veterinarian who works at a clinic in Juazerio do Norte, Brazil, until an unexpected visitor stopped by her clinic.
To everyone’s surprise, one dog entered the place all by itself. As they were all waiting for the owner to follow after him, no one was around, and that’s when Ferreira realized the dog was a stray in need of help.
“When he came in, he put the injured paw forward, as if to say hello and to show that he was hurting,” Ferreira told The Dodo. “We were surprised because he knew where to ask for help.”
Source: YouTube/ MY WORLD
She approached closer and decided to take the dog in for examination.
“Right away, I felt that he needed help and I invited him in,” she shared with Bored Panda. “He kindly let me examine him and after some tests.”
After thorough inspection, Ferreira realized the dog had a tumor on his paw. He was also covered in fleas. The good thing was that the tumor was treatable.
The first thing Ferreira did was treat the dog, whom she named Quindim, a bath. Needless to say, he loved being around people and showed everyone around how lovable and friendly he was.
“He is doing very well now, reacting perfectly to chemotherapies, to the drugs he has been taking and so far he has had no adverse reaction,” Ferreira told Bored Panda. “He is loving, very playful, he is very outgoing, runs, plays and socializes well with other animals.”
Source: YouTube/ MY WORLD
More good news followed once Quindim’s story went viral. Many fell in love with his bubbly personality and intelligence and adoption requests came pouring in.
“Quindim is now for adoption. We already have around 10 people from Brazil all interested in giving him a loving home,” Ferreira said, adding they were looking for a local adopter.
“The most admirable thing is that he came on his own. His intelligence is beautiful,” Ferreira told The Dodo. “I’m sure he will find a home that will welcome him and receive him with all the love he deserves.”

What started as a YouTube channel featuring videos of cleaning waters from debris, ended up with solving cases of missing people.
Oregon-based scuba-diver Jared Leisek embarked on a mission to help clean the local rivers and post videos of his underwater adventures on his YouTube channel. His buddies, Sam Ginn and Doug Bishop, who shared his dream for a clean environment, joined him in his mission.
At the beginning, they would pull out all sort of garbage, old phones, scrap metal and a lot more, but as time passed by they bought the latest equipment for pulling out old vehicles in order to prevent their fluids pollute the waters.

As their videos started attracting the attention of more and more viewers, families of missing people reached out to Jared and asked for help in locating their loved ones. “Families [of missing people] saw what it is that we were capable of,” Jared explained. “We can go out. We can search. We can find. We can float, and we can recover these vehicles. ‘We have a lost loved one. Jared, do you think that you and your organization can come help us out?’”
Nathan Ashby went missing in July of 2019. His family told Jared and his crew how his vehicle was detected at the bottom of a Missouri river by sonar equipment but investigators were unable to reach it because of the strong current and depth.
“I turned to Sam [Ginn], who’s my main dive partner and buddy, and I said, ‘Sam, are you up for taking a 32-hour trip to Warrenton, Missouri?’” Jared said. Once there, it took these divers nine hours to have Ashby’s body and his truck out.

After COVID lockdown, the group were live-streaming a video for their channel when Jared saw a body. He stopped filming and called the cops.
“This is Timothy Robinson, who went missing 12 years earlier and left a note that said, ‘I’m going to the river to a boat ramp, and I am taking myself out.’ And here we are, 12 years later. We now have been able to give that family answers,’” Jared said.
Source: YouTube/ Adventures With Purpose
Among the number of families that Jared, Sam, and Doug helped find answers about their loved ones was the family of Tammy Goff. Her husband Bob contacted Jared and told him how his wife of 42 years, Tammy, went missing some three years ago. He asked from them to help him find her body and they agreed.
After four hours of searching featured in four separate episodes on their YouTube channel Adventures With Purpose, Jared and his crew found Tammy’s truck at the bottom of the river. They ripped out the license plate and handed it to her grieving husband.
Source: YouTube/ Adventures With Purpose
“The moment alongside the river, when I’d seen the license plate, knew that it was her truck and that they told me that she was inside, it was just this whole two and a half years of load that just fell off of my shoulders,” Bob, who finally got the answers he was looking for, said.
Jared, Sam, and Doug don’t ask for payments from the families they help. They only rely on YouTube and donations from people who appreciate what they do. Amazing, isn’t it?

Every act of kindness, no matter how big or small, always goes a long way.
A family of four, a mother, a father, and their two twin daughters, were having dinner at a Red Lobster in Arizona celebrating Father’s Day. They resembled a perfect family, but no one at the restaurant knew that they had experienced heartbreak.
When the time came for them to leave, instead of a bill, the waitress handed them a handwritten note which read: “Enjoy your babies. They don’t stay little long. From the family across from you. God bless you.”
That was an incredibly beautiful thing to do for perfect strangers.
Touched by the good deed, Daniel and Maxi Cortez, who were both in the military, decided to share the note online in hopes of reaching to the kind people who paid for their meal. Along with it, they shared their family’s life story and explained why the kindness they received meant the world to them.
They explained that they had triplets but lost one of the babies at seven weeks old. “To you we looked like just a family of 4 celebrating the most important man in our lives. Little did you know last year we celebrated as a family of 5,” Maxi wrote.

Baby Landon caught bacterial meningitis a few weeks after being born. Sadly, he passed away.
“From the time he was born, he never closed his eyes. He just wanted to be awake all the time. It’s like he knew that he only had a short time.”
The heartbroken mother wished those strangers at the restaurant who gave them the touching note knew how much it meant to them.

We never know what others are going through, that is why we should always treat everyone with kindness.
What three teenage basketball players did for one of the cheerleaders of their team is melting hearts all over the country. Stepping in for someone who was made fun of turned into a lesson that we should all learn from.

High-school can be rough for many students. We’ve all been there, done that, and we are aware that issues such as bullying are always present and it looks like schools’ staff aren’t really doing much in order to put a stop to such behavior and protect the victims.
This time, however, students stepped in for a friend of theirs and wanted everyone to know that bullying wasn’t something they would tolerate.
Miles Rodriguez, Chase Vasquez, and Scooter Terrien from the Lincoln Middle School, Wisconsin, were in the middle of the game when they noticed how some rival fans made fun of one of the cheerleaders, a girl named Desiree Andrews. This made the three teens angry so they decided to stop the game and make sure no one picked on their friend Desiree, who goes by “D” and has Down Syndrome.

Speaking of the incident, Chase told Milwaukee news outlet, “The kids in the audience were picking on D, so we all stepped forward.”
Once the rest of the team saw what their fellow friends did, they all called a timeout and walked off the court.
“We were mad. We didn’t like that. We asked our sports director to talk to the people and tell them not to make fun of her,” 14-year-old Miles recalled.

Desiree is an awesome cheerleader who is always eager to give the players high-fives and fist-bumps as a sign of support.
This lovely girl fell in love in the idea of becoming a cheerleader after she saw a girl with Down Syndrome being one in her favorite TV show, “Glee.”
D’s father, Cliff Andrews, who couldn’t stop tears from rolling down his face when he learned what the players did for his girl and how they protected her, explained how the show influenced D’s decision to join the cheerleaders and how it boosted her self-esteem. She, on the other hand, said how the boys stepping up for her was “sweet, kind, awesome, amazing.”

Since the incident took place, the boys often walk D to class making sure she’s safe.
The school believes how the boys’ incredible act changed things so profoundly that now bullying is almost completely reduced and everyone is speaking about inclusion and doing kindness. This story influenced many teenagers from all over the country to become better people and respect their peers.
Lincoln Middle School went a step further and did something worth all the praise. Namely, they named the gym ‘D’s House’, after sweet Desiree and that name stands for friendship.
Athletic Director Timothy Nieman was deeply touched by the gesture that he hanged a banner with the new title and said, “This is what standing up, being a true team, not only a basketball team but a team of people that are going to support somebody.”
Scooter later said, “It’s not fair when other people get treated wrong, because we’re all the same. We’re all created the same; God made us the same way.” Honestly, we can’t agree more and we are glad such young kids understand what it means not to let others get hurt for who they are.
With the sudden passing of actor Bob Saget, the world has lost a comedy legend.
Bob Saget was found dead on Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. He was best known for his iconic role of patriarch Danny Tanner on the sitcom Full House, which became a much loved series that marked the 90s.
“Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room,” Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
“The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene.”
According on the detectives who are working on the case, there were “no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”

Saget’s family confirmed the news and released a statement.
“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the statement said. “He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.
“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”

Many of Saget’s fellow colleagues paid tribute to one of the most famous TV dads in the history of film. Members of the Full House cast were left in deep shock and received the news with disbelief.
“I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock,” John Stamos wrote on his Twitter account and continued: “I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.”
He was also mourned by his TV daughters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. During the filming of the series they developed a special relationship which they mutually nurtured over the years.
“Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has. We are thinking of his daughters, wife and family and are sending our condolences,” the sisters said in a statement to USA Today.

Candace Cameron Bure, who played the role of Donna Jo “D.J.,” said, “I have no words. Bob was one of the best humans beings I’ve ever known in my life. I loved him so much.”
Fellow comedian and good friend of Saget, Jim Carrey wrote on Twitter, “Beautiful Bob Saget passed away today at 65. He had a big, big heart and a wonderfully warped comic mind. He gave the world a lot of joy and lived his life for goodness’ sake.”

Saget was born in 1956 in Philadelphia. When he was young, he dreamed of becoming a doctor, but his teacher of English saw something in him and encouraged him to pursue a career in the film industry. Besides Full House, Saget was also known for the show America’s Funniest Home Videos which he hosted from 1989 to 1997. He also starred in Raising Dad and narrated the voice of future Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother.
Bob Saget was married twice. He and his first wife, Sherri Kramer, met even before he rose to fame. They welcomed three daughters, Aubrey Saget, Lara Melanie Saget, and Jennifer Belle Saget. After their divorce in 1997, it looked like Saget was about to remain single forever, but that all changed when he met his second wife, Kelly Rizzo.
“I didn’t think I’d have a relationship again,” the late actor told Closer Weekly in 2018 and continued: “I was kind of in that ‘just work, make people happy and take care of your kids until they’re 90’ mindset.”

At the time of his death, Saget was in a middle of a tour. He had stand-up performances both on 7 and 8 January, less than 24 hours before his lifeless body was found in the hotel.
His last words he tweeted break our heart.
“I loved tonight’s show in Jacksonville,” Saget wrote. “Very appreciative and fun audiences. I had no idea I did a two hour set tonight. I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it. A’ight, see you in two weeks.
“Goin’ everywhere until I get the special shot. And then probably keep going cause I’m addicted to this,” he added, signing off with “Peace out.”
Bob Saget’s funeral was held on January 14 at the Mt. Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. His friends and family all attended the funeral.
“Personally, I hope to die after a beautiful night of lovemaking with my wife, but I’m glad Bob didn’t go that way. As I said, I rather he dies after doing what he did best. (Sorry, Kelly.) That’s the kind of joke Bob loved,” part of John Stamos’ eulogy read.
His family released a statement about the cause of dead. According to investigators who worked on the case, Saget suffered a head trauma after he accidentally hit the back of his head. As reported by NPR, no pills or alcohol were involved.
“As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter,” Saget’s family added in the statement.
They thanked everyone who offered their condolences.
Rest in peace, Bob Saget. Our hearts go out to his family.
Kevin Duke from Kentucky was excited to get his daughter her first ever car. He wanted to make sure he finds the best vehicle and he eventually bought a nice used car. But little did he know it wasn’t just “a car.” It hid a secret that broke his heart.
As his daughter was weeks from getting her driving license, Kevin wanted to test the car himself, so he went for a test drive and checked it thoroughly inside and out. He also checked the glove box a couple of times, but it wasn’t until he touched a small rubber mat that he discovered there was a letter inside. It was addressed to the new owner and said “Important Info Inside.”
Nothing could prepare this father for the words written on that piece of paper.
Speaking of the unusual experience, Kevin took to Facebook to share it with his friends.
“Well, yesterday I’m in it tinkering around and I open this storage compartment on top of the dash (which I’ve opened a half dozen times already). This time I notice a rubber mat in the bottom of it and for whatever reason, I pull it out. To my surprise, I find this envelope with this letter inside. I won’t lie, I shed a few tears.”
He even snapped a photo of the letter. Needless to say, it brought him to tears and none of those who read it were spared from crying themselves.
This is what it said:
“To the person that gets this car, I just wanted to let you know what a special vehicle you’ve bought. This car belonged to my mom. She passed away Feb. 25, 2015 in a house fire along with my 6 year old daughter and my aunt. The last time my mom drove this car was the day she left us. Her and my daughter went out shopping and got their hair cut.”
That car meant the world to the person who wrote the letter, but she had no choice but sell it.
“This car holds a lot of special memories for me. My home and everything in it is gone, this car is all that I had left to touch. There was a mix up with paperwork and that’s caused the car not to be paid off by insurance. It’s very upsetting that I have lost my family, my home and now I’m losing this last link I have with my mom and child through no fault of my own.”
That vehicle witnessed of the fun time and the incredible memories the previous owner and her family experienced during their fulfilling trips. It witnessed of their joys and of times that could never return.
“I’m not mad at you. I hope this car is the best car you’ve ever owned. I hope it runs for 100 more years. I hope the backseat is filled with kids and toys and random things. My family filled this car with lots of love and other sticky things. We took road trips, blared 80’s and country music and rolled the windows down. I’ve changed more diapers in the backseat than I can count. There’s probably a sucker stick or a crayon hidden somewhere that belonged to my baby. Maybe an entire chicken nugget. HA!”
That car wasn’t the best out there, but the reason it was so special for that woman who wrote the letter sure was.
“I don’t know if you’ll see it but there may be a dirty spot on the dash. My daughter and I would pretend to go on adventures while we sat in the driveway and she always put her feet there. The dent on the rear drivers side fender and the dent in the passenger side door are where my daughter learned to ride…and crash…her bike a few months before her death.”
“I know it’s just a car to you, but to me it’s so much more. Life happened in this car. Love, joy and adventure was had in this car. So now that it’s yours, please remember it isn’t just a car. It’s a memory. This car with all its quirks is the last piece of my family. Be nice to it. Play it a country song. Big Green Tractor was my daughter’s favorite song ever, or some Lynyrd Skynyrd Freebird. That song meant so much to us that I played it at their funerals.”
Kevin’s girl will always have “someone” by her side while she drives that car.
“You’re riding with angels. My angels. Talk to them if you like, I’m sure they’d like to see and hear about any new adventures you take in this car. By the way, her name is Sylvia. The very first day mom got this car, we all rode around and Dr. Hook’s Sylvia’s Mother came on the radio, the name kind of just stuck when my daughter said that’s what we should name the car. So please don’t change her name.”
The touching letter ended with a request.
“If you ever want to sell Sylvia, please try to find me. I just paid for 3 funerals, I can’t afford to buy it right now, but hopefully I’ll be in a better financial situation if you decide later that she’s just not right for you anymore. Be blessed, be happy, live and love like we did. I wish you and Sylvia the best!”
This story touched many hearts and spoke of the personal pains each of us goes through during our lifetime.
We truly hope this woman who went through so much will find her inner peace and will be able to move on. And for Kevin’s daughter, we wish she creates her own unforgettable memories driving that special car.
Saved by the Bell became an iconic TV series adored by many. One of the main characters, that of Lisa Turtle, was played by Hollywood beauty Lark Voorhies.
Lark became a huge star almost overnight, but she then disappeared from the spotlight and that left many of her fans worried.
When she turned two, Lark, who was born in 1974 as the only child of Wayne and Tricia Holloway, auditioned for a commercial because her mother believed she had an inner talent for acting. However, despite her abilities, she was way too little to show what she knew and her mother decided to wait some time before Lark auditioned again.
At the age of 12, Lark appeared in a national TV commercial for Universal Studios’ new “King Kong” attraction. She loved performing in front of a camera and it was the start of a promising career in the film industry.
“I was on this tram screaming with all these other people. I had such a great time doing that,” she said back then.
When she turned 14, Lark got a part in an episode of Small Wonder, followed by her breakthrough role of Lisa Turtle in the teen sitcom Good Morning, Miss Bliss which aired on the Disney Channel and was soon taken over by NBC and renamed into what we all recognize as one best 90’s sitcoms there are, Saved by the Bell.
The show followed the life of a group of teens and was a huge hit. Lark remained part of the show for five seasons, or until she graduated from the fictional Bayside High School in Los Angeles.

Everyone was convinced that Lark’s career would blossom even further, and that is exactly what happened, at least for a while. She was part of the shows Days of our Lives,Family Matters, and In the House, among the rest. She also guest-starred in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as Carlton Banks’ love interest.
From being one of the most popular actresses during the 90’s, Lark suddenly disappeared from the limelight. According to her mother, she was facing a stressful period after her career sort of slowed down.
In 2012, the actress was diagnosed with bipolar disorder after her family and doctors noticed mood swings at her which suddenly went from joy to sudden depression.
”I care deeply about my daughter and I want her to resume her life. It’s frustrating,” Lark’s mom Tricia told People in 2012.

During a 2015 appearance on Entertainment Tonight, it became very much obvious that Lark was going through some mental struggles. Tricia had a hard time helping her daughter accept her diagnosis. “Lark hadn’t defined to herself what was going on, so therefore she resented the fact I came forward to put a label that she herself hadn’t accepted,” the mother explained. “She was upset with me about that.”
In 2020, Lark opened up about her life on Dr. Oz and confessed how she felt devastated when she wasn’t invited to be part of the reboot of the series which marked her life and career. It was an emotional interview which tug at the heartstrings of her fans.
“Schizoaffective thought disorder and that was a perfect example of what it does and how it behaves and what it creates around and about it,” she said referring to her 2015 interview which many found odd.
“I have to admit I did feel a bit slighted and hurt when I was not invited to be part of the ‘Saved by the Bell’ reunion as well as other cast members’ events,” she said and added: “Yet of course, I also realized that having this puzzling disorder may have played a major part in that factual decision. With that in mind, I am truly thankful for having had the chance to work on a show that has been so successful.”
After the touching interview, NBC offered Lark to reprise her role of Lisa Turtle in three episodes.
According to her spokesperson, after the reboot, “Lark is thriving with a successful career in fashion.”
Lark was married twice. She and her first husband, Miguel Coleman, tied the knot in 1996 and divorced after eight years. She was married to her second husband, Jimmy Green, for six months only.
We are glad this beautiful actress gained control of her life and we only wish her the best life has to offer.
Crime series are my favorite, and speaking of them, NCIS has to be somewhere on the top of the list of series of that genre.
It has been on air for 17 years now and fans seem not to have enough of it despite it’s one of the longest-running shows.
Among the characters that made NCIS what it is today is quirky forensic scientist Abby Sciuto played by actress Pauley Perrette. She was part of the show for 15 years before she quit in 2018 and left fans wondering why she made that decision.
Shutterstock
Perrette has always been interested in crime stories to the extent that she called herself “obsessed” with them. When she was young, her family moved houses very often and she lived in a number of different states. However, during the period of 1979 and 1981 she resided in Georgia. At that same period, there were cases of child murder in Atlanta.
“I was very young then, but I was obsessed with that case. Then I got really obsessed with Jonestown. I was way too young to be obsessed with these things, but I would every cut out every article — I really don’t like bad guys.”

Perrette was an excellent students, all A’s. She studied Sociology, Psychology and Criminal Science at the Valdosta State University and later moved to New York to continue her studies at the John Jay School of Criminal Science.
In the meantime, she worked as a waitress, and her way into acting happened by accident. One day, while on the job, she overheard a customer saying how she got paid $3,000 dollars to shoot a commercial, so Perrette thought that’s it.
“I really wanted to make $3,000,” she told Punk Globe. “There was a director that took a liking to me and put me in a bunch of music videos and commercials. That’s how it started. In my undergrad degree, I studied Sociology, Psychology and Criminal Science. So basically, I was studying human behavior, which ironically has become an outstanding background as an actor as far as creating and understanding characters and how they think, feel and interact.”

Before landing the role that marked her career and changed her life, Perrette starred in Frasier, The Drew Carey Show, That’s Life and Almost Famous. NCIS gained huge popularity over the years and received a number of awards, with Abby becoming a center character.
Rumors were she left the show because her relationship with co-star Mark Harmon turned “rather icy.” He once brought his Pit Bull on the set and the dog attacked a member of the crew, an incident that required 15 stitches. And if that wasn’t enough, Harmon continued bringing his dog on set, something Perrette considered inconsiderate.
Harmon claimed his dog was always on a leash, but other sources claim otherwise.

Perrette took to Twitter to say goodbye to Abby’s fans out there and wrote:
“I hope everyone will love and enjoy EVERYTHING ABBY not only for the rest of this season but for everything she has given all of us for 16 years,” Perrette wrote . “All the love, all the laughter, all the inspiration…I love her as much as you do.”
Speaking to CBS Sunday Morning, the actress said, “It makes me sad to imagine a world without Abby in it. It really makes me sad. I’m still grieving. It feels differently every day, and it’s sad. I usually cry in my car every day when I drive to work. And then I usually cry on my way home at some point. And then I take a deep breath and I go, ‘Alright’.”
NO I AM NOT COMING BACK! EVER! (Please stop asking?) I am terrified of Harmon and him attacking me. I have nightmares about it. I have a new show that is SAFE AND HAPPY! You’ll love it!#HappyPlace Love y’all!
She said she was never going back to NCIS but continued working with CBS. She got back to comedy, something she’s really great at and starred in the show Broke.
Youtube/CBS
Perrette created two scholarship that go to young women who want to major in criminal justice and follow into Abby’s footsteps. “Abby is not just a TV character for people,” she told People. “These young girls have modeled their entire lives off of her. It’s like Abby has raised a couple of generations of young girls and has inspired this international phenomenon of young women going into math and science and STEM programs because she made it accessible, cool, attainable and fun.”

Pauley Perrette isn’t just an incredible actress but a wonderful person who always helps those in need. We really miss her on NCIS.
When Maggie, one of the bravest dogs we’ve ever heard of, was found tied down on a street in Lebanon, one of her ears had been cut off and she had been shot 17 times. God knows how much pain she was in and how afraid she was of humans.
Everyone wondered who the culprit who did this to her might be because Maggie was one of the nicest dogs. Despite her ordeal, she never showed any signs of aggression towards those who found her and saved her.
After she was rushed to the vet, Maggie was patched up in just a few hours. However, her injuries were severe. The bullets left her completely blind and the vet had to sew her eyes too.
It was discovered that at the time of the attack Maggie was pregnant but the bullets inside her body and the trauma she suffered left the fetuses damaged. Her pregnancy had to be terminated.
Eventually, four pellets were removed from her eyes and her body and the remaining stayed intact because the risk of getting them out was very high.
Thankfully, Maggie was brave and she started her process of recovery.
The rescue organization Wild at Heart Foundation that took Maggie under their wing posted her story on the social media. Many people wished this incredible dog a fast recovery and prayed for her to find a home.
That’s when a woman named Kasey Carlin from the UK stumbled upon Maggie’s story. She simply knew she had to take the dog in and asked to foster her, though she was aware that it was very likely for Maggie to stay with her forever.
The first encounter between the new friends was an emotional one. Getting to see and hug Maggie in person, Kasey was over the moon. She ignored the vile comments that Maggie should have been put down because she would be a burden for any family that would welcome her in their life.
In her new home, Maggie made friends with Kasey’s other dog, an Alaskan Klee Kai named Mishka. At first, Maggie was overwhelmed by Mishka’s constant howling but she soon got used to it and now the two love each other so very much and cuddle all day long.
Maggie was so friendly and loving to everyone she met that Kasey got this idea of training her to become a therapy dog. Needless to say, Maggie passed the training with ease and is now helping humans who are in need of love and support. In fact, she’s frequently visiting the nearby care home and all residents are over the moon whenever Maggie stops by.
Kasey adopted Maggie officially and she says it’s the best decision she’s ever made.
“She and I will speak to schools and work hands-on with youngsters,” Kasey said. “I know what happened to Maggie was horrendous but if her story can educate and inspire others to do good then at least we can do our part to make this world a little brighter.”
Seeing their children fulfill their dreams and achieve great things is something every parent wishes for, and one proud dad isn’t afraid to show the whole world just how happy his girl’s accomplishments made him.
Rachel is a young lady with Down Syndrome who never let anything stand on her way of getting a degree. Just recently, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography & Media from California Institute of the Arts.
If you think this isn’t anything special, just think again. According to the Pediatric Therapy Network, only one person with Down Syndrome in a million completes a higher education program, and Rachel is that one person in a million and that makes her very special.
Her dad, Jay Handlin, was devastated that his girl won’t be attending a graduation party because of the pandemic and all the restrictions the governments imposed, and that is why he decided to share the news of Rachel’s triumph on his Tweeter account. Jay wrote: “I am officially the proudest father on the planet,” and we say that’s beyond cute.
His post was retweeted 19,000 times and received over 200,000 likes. What’s most, many commented how he deserves the Father of the Year award.
This is my daughter, Rachel Handlin. Tonight, she earned her full Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography & Media from the prestigious California Institute of the Arts, @CalArts. Rachel has #Downsyndrome.
I am officially the proudest father on the planet.
“The first time we took her to Musée d’Orsay, Laura was carrying Rachel when we entered the Van Gogh gallery and it was like an electric charge went through Rachel’s body. She had an instant, strong, positive physical reaction to the art,” dad Jay told People.
We are very proud of Rachel too and we know she will accomplish even greater things in life. She has her parents who support her by her side so the sky is the limit for this young lady.
As Fox News signs conservative television host Laura Ingraham to new multi-year deal, we go back to the beginnings of her career and how it all started. Today, Ingraham isn’t just a TV host, but a powerful woman many look up to.
Suzanne Scott, the CEO of Fox News Media, released a statement regarding their further collaboration with Ingraham.“Laura’s one-of-a-kind expertise and powerful commentary has provided an important voice to millions of Americans as a staple of our prime-time lineup and we are thrilled to feature her insightful perspective across our platforms for many years to come.”
Youtube/FoxNews
While at college, Ingraham worked as an editor-in-chief for the prestigious conservative Dartmouth Review school newspaper. Ever since her teen years, this powerful woman wasn’t afraid to present her views, mostly political. That meant trouble at times, but she never let anyone stop on her way of speaking up her mind.
Speaking of the time she worked for the Dartmouth Review, Ingraham told Hartford Courant, “Here you had all these ’60s liberals — who used to be storming administration buildings themselves — in power at Dartmouth, and they didn’t know what to do with this conservative independent paper. I was sued a couple of times for libel by professors. We ended up on ’60 Minutes.’ It was a real catalyst for political involvement — and made doing ‘Crossfire’ look like nothing.”
Youtube/EWTN
Before she became a host, Ingraham worked as a speechwriter in the Reagan administration and the Secretary of Transportation. She then earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Virginia School of Law.
Ingraham was also a judicial clerk in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York for Ralph Winter and worked for Court Justice Clarence Thomas in United States Supreme Court and also for a law firm along Bob Bennett, the brother of William Bennett.
Speaking of her, Bob Bennett told Courant, “She’s a force of nature. She was very able, very bright and had a lot of energy. It was also very clear to me that the law was too confining for her. Listen, if she stuck with practicing law, she would have been a tremendous success. But her real interest and skills lay in politics. She had strong opinions and was very effective in how she articulated them. I thought it would be a good match for her.”
Youtube/TheMunkDebates
Ingraham hosted the nationally syndicated radio show The Laura Ingraham Show, which was rated number 5 radio show in the US by Talkers Magazine in 2012, for nearly two decades and is now the host of The Ingraham Angle on the Fox News Channel program. At the moment, her show has over 2.6 million viewers.
When it comes to her private life, Ingraham’s relationships have always been under the spotlight. She never married, although she was engaged twice. One of her earliest relationships, which somehow affected the course of her career, was that with the Indian student Dinesh D’Souza whom she dated while at university. She described him as “simply one of the finest human beings I have ever met.” He taught her how to write news stories and track down sources.
She also dated political pundit Keith Olbermann, with whom she had totally opposite political views. That, however, wasn’t the reason why the two broke up. In one occasion, she accused him of insulting the American troops to which he replied: “Did they do that to you when you vandalized your ex-boyfriend’s house by stuffing the garden hose through the letter slot?”
In 2005, Ingraham got engaged to entrepreneur James V Reyes, but that same year she was diagnosed with breast cancer and the two called their engagement off.
Youtube/ABC News
Thankfully, she ended up a winner in the battle against the disease. In 2013, she told Talkers, “I try to go on without obsessing about it all that much. It was not a pleasant experience to go through and I treated it like training for a marathon, or writing a law school essay. I powered through it and did not want people to pity me.”
The host and the author of several books, as well as founder of the conservative American website LifeZettle, has three children. Ingraham adopted daughter Maria from Guatemala some 12 years ago and later welcomed boys Dmitri and Nikolai from Russia into her life. She loves being a mother.
Bobby Rydell was a huge sensation back in the 60’s. Considered by many a teen idol everyone admired and was obsessed with, he stole the hearts of millions of fans from the States and all over the world.
It was his father who convinced him to pursue a career in the showbiz as he knew his son was a huge talent. When he was just four years old, Rydell would sit in front of the TV and would impersonate performers like Milton Berle, Louis Prima and Johnny Ray.
Wikipedia Commons / James Kriegsmann, New York.
Rydell’s career as a musician started after he won a talent show at Paul Whiteman’s TV Teen Club. From that moment on, he would perform with various bands in his hometown of Philadelphia and would sign his first ever contract. With his devoted father as his manager, it seemed the sky was the limit for this talented and good-looking young man.
During the early 1960’s, Rydell already got some huge hits that remain famous even today, such as “Wild One”, “Volare” and “We Got Love.” It wasn’t surprising his incredible pieces of music reached the top of the charts. Besides singing, he tried himself in acting too. He played the role of Hugo Peabody in the musical Bye Bye Birdie, a movie that would place him on the list of the most famous showbiz performers of all time.
”I screen-tested with Ann-Margret and it must have looked good because they kept adding more dialogue and more songs for us in the movie. I am not a movie star by any stretch of the imagination, but I was lucky to be in the film. It’s a classic,” Rydell told Connecticut Magazine.
Facebook / Bobby Rydell
However, when he was at the peak of his career, British music became extremely popular in the U.S. and everyone went crazy over The Beatles who left every other performer behind. Rydell’s popularity declined and it led to his contract with ABKCO Records to be ended.
It all made Rydell turn to the alcohol. “I became a total alcoholic. When I say ‘drinking,’ I used to hide bottles of vodka in my golf bag in the back of the trunk of my car, and God forbid half of a bottle was gone, I’d have to go to a liquor store and get a new one. My God, you know, I couldn’t run out of my friend,” he explained in an interview with The Morning Call.
Sadly, the death of his wife of many years and his high-school sweetheart whom he married in 1968, Camille Quattrone Ridarelli, made things even worse for Rydell. He’s drinking problem only deepened.
Facebook / Bobby Rydell
In 2009, he married his longtime friend Linda Hoffman who helped him overcome the addiction and encouraged him to write an autobiography. Although he quit drinking, the years of alcohol abuse took their toll and Rydell had to undergo two transplant surgeries in 2012, a kidney and a liver. In an interview with The Morning Call, Rydell spoke of his surgeries and said how his donor was a young woman named Julia. ”She was only 21 years old, she was hit by a car. And she became my donor. And not only did she save my life, but she saved seven other people, as well. It was a miracle the way things happened. It really was.”
Facebook / Bobby Rydell
Today, Rydell is 78 but he still performs and according to him, he’ll be doing that until his last day on Earth. ”I’m the kind of guy who’ll sing and perform until I die. It’s all I’ve ever known. I still get antsy when I haven’t hit a stage for a while. I still love what I do. When I can’t do it anymore, you might as well start shoveling the dirt on top of me,” he said some 4 years ago.
With such talent, it’s not surprising Rydell’s career has encompassed six decades and counting.
A lot of actors and actresses leave a mark in the movie industry, but not many of them leave a mark in the lives of ordinary people like you an I. One of those Hollywood sweethearts who have impacted not only the world of film, but also the world in general is definitely Gary Sinise.
Known for his roles of Stu Redman in The Stand and Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump among the rest, Sinise should be proud of his numerous achievements, awards, and his acting career.
Shutterstock
Plying the disabled and emotionally tortured veteran alongside Tom Hanks in the legendary Forest Gump, Sinise finally got the recognition he has always deserved. For his part in this film, Sinise was nominated for both a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture and for an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
“We didn’t know that the movie would be as big a hit as it was. I knew I very much wanted to play that part, I had Vietnam veterans in my family. I had supported Vietnam veterans in the ’80s, ’70s and ’80s, trying to help them in various ways in Chicago,” Sinise said of his role.
“And then along comes this opportunity very early in my movie career—I’d only done a few things—to audition to play a wounded Vietnam veteran. I very much wanted to do it, I was lucky to get the part.”

However, before he had his big breakthrough on screen, Sinise worked as a director.
When he was just 21, he and his friends Terry Kinney and Jeff Perry founded the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago which soon branched out to New York. With their production of The Grapes of Wrath back in 1990, Sinise’s theater company had their first Broadway debut.

Sinise has dedicated a great part of his life and his time to helping veterans. After Forest Gump, he formed the band Lt. Dan Band and performed for troops in the U.S. as well as overseas. It was then that Sinise founded the Gary Sinise Foundation whose main goal is to provide homes for the injured veterans. So far, around 80 houses have been built and the construction of more will be taking place in the months and years to come.
“I just tried to share what I’ve experienced,” Sinise told Military Officers Association of America.
“Certainly, the events of Sept. 11 were a terrible catalyst to drive me into a service life — more than I ever would have expected. It’s the journey from this sort of singular focus on acting and myself to trying to do more for others. It’s impacted me over the years and given greater purpose to my life.”
Sinise is a family man. He and his wife Moira Harris have been married for 40 years and have three beautiful children together, Sophie, McCanna Anthony and Ella.
Speaking of his wife, Sinise says that the secret behind a long-lasting marriage is “the sense of humor” and adds, “My wife’s a loving, funny, Irish-spirited person, and I’m still surprised at some of the things she says. She makes me laugh every day.”
Shutterstock
He also shared a fun story of the first time he met his father-in-law. The night they were supposed to meet, Sinise was working at the theater and just after he finished, he rushed to the men’s Union League Club in New York. However, as he wasn’t wearing a suit, the men at the gate wouldn’t let him in. After he begged them to let him inside and told them how important that meeting was for him, they handed him a suit coat and snuck him into the club through the service elevator.
“I’m now in the movie business, successful,” the actor told Build Series. “I show up in a suit, they put me in the presidential suite. I make a speech. It was a totally different trip to the Union League Club after that.”
After the tragic incident during which cinematographer Halya Hutchins was accidentally killed on the set of the movie Rust when actor Alec Baldwin pulled the trigger while filming a scene, he’s now back to work.
The tragedy took place in Mexico. It was a traumatic experience for everyone involved. The circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been cleared yet.
Baldwin himself spoke of the incident and said: “Someone put a live bullet in a gun, a bullet that wasn’t even supposed to be on the property. Someone is responsible for what happened, and I can’t say who that is, but I know it’s not me.
“I don’t know what happened on that set. I don’t know how that bullet arrived in that gun, I don’t know,” he added, “But I’m all for doing anything that will take us to a place where this is less likely to happen again.”
His lawyers asked for any lawsuits to be dismissed claiming the tragedy was a “workplace accident.”

The last couple of months haven’t been easy for Baldwin, so he sought comfort in his family.
He and wife Hilaria married in 2012 and welcomed six children together. Their eldest child is eight years old. In an emotional video, he explained how his family is everything to him and reminded his fans to spend as much time with their loved ones as they possibly can.
“I don’t have anything else in my life. I really don’t have anything else in my life that matters to me on that scale, and I really mean that. I’m not asking anyone to pin any medals on me, but I just haven’t done anything else in my life that even remotely means anything to me,” The Cooler star said and added how he tried not to work as much during the last couple of years because of his responsibilities at home.

“I hate to leave my family. I’m turning down jobs I think I shouldn’t do because I hate to be away from my kids. I hate to be away from my wife and kids. I’m on my way to go on a trip and leave my family – it’s not that long – but I hate it. I really hate it,” he said in his Instagram video. Further, he said how he’s very happy when he comes home and his children welcome him with arms wide open.
“They pull me into a world I never dreamed I would be a part of. It’s unbelievable. I have a good partner. Hug your kids and love your kids and make every day count,” he added.

Long before meeting his current wife, Baldwin was married to Hollywood beauty Kim Basinger. The two met on the set of The Marrying Man in 1990. According to the film’s director, Jerry Rees, Basinger saw photos of her and Baldwin side by said and said: “We are going to make a terrific couple.”
Baldwin called some of his friends and told them Basinger was driving him insane and that he would marry her. That’s exactly what happened. The two tied the knot in 1993 and welcomed daughter Ireland a year later.

However, Basinger filed for divorce just a year before Baldwin spoke publicly of how special of a person she was. “The reason I fell in love with Kim is that she’s so odd,” he told Variety in 2000. “With that kind of beauty, this is a woman who could have married the head of a studio or a big director or a movie star who gets $20 million a movie.”
“She could have everyone shining her ass 24 hours a day. She could have played ball. But she’s a very odd woman. I’ve done plays by Tennessee Williams; he was really able to enunciate certain southern characters. I’m from Long Island — I never really knew they existed. But my wife is one of those people — an absolutely maddeningly peculiar, exotic, lovely person,” he added.
According to her father, Baldwin was the kindest and most generous person there was, but he had a hard time controlling his anger.
That is probably the reason why the actor got so emotional in his recent video in which he spoke of the importance of family. He regrets not spending enough time with Ireland while she was still just a child. “You look at all the time that was lost … If you did an analysis of the actual days I spent with Ireland [when she was growing up], you’d be appalled at how little it was,” Baldwin said.
Today, however, their relationship is back to “normal,” and we are very happy for that.
“Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say I love him so much.” These were the words then 11-year-old Paris Jackson uttered at the funeral of the person who meant the whole world to her, her father.
Losing a father at that age is heartbreaking. For Paris and her brothers, it meant that now all eyes were on them. All of a sudden, every magazine wanted to have a piece of Michael Jackson through them, and they received incredible media attention. Michael cared for their privacy a great deal, and now, they found themselves under the spotlight.

After his death, his children ended up in the legal care of his mother, the kids’ grandmother, Katherine Jackson. Paris lived with her until her 19th birthday, after which she moved to her father’s private studio at the family compound, which she transformed into a dorm-style bedroom.
Paris, who turned 23 on April 3, opened up about Michael Jackson in a YouTube interview with supermodel Naomi Campbell which aired recently. Among the rest, she spoke of her modeling career, her new album, and her upbringing.

The young model and musician released her first album Wilted, which is an indie-folk album. “It’s mainly just a story of heartbreak and love, in general, and the thoughts and feelings that come after it doesn’t work out,” Paris told Paper, and added how she is inspired by her late father’s music. She definitely inherited his talent.
“My dad was really good about making sure we were cultured, making sure we were educated, and not just showing us like the glitz and glam, like hotel hopping, five-star places,” Paris said.
“It was also like, we saw everything. We saw third world countries. We saw every part of the spectrum.”

Paris added that even though Michael Jackson was the King of Pop and was filthy rich, he still didn’t let his children have everything on a silver platter. Instead, they learned from very young age that they had to earn the things they wanted.
“Even growing up it was about earning stuff,” she said. “If we wanted five toys from FAO Schwarz or Toys ‘R’ Us, we had to read five books.
“It’s earning it, not just being entitled to certain things or thinking ‘oh I got this’. It’s like working for it, working hard for it, it’s something else entirely, it’s an accomplishment.”

Back in 2010, young Paris opened up about her childhood at the Neverland and told Oprah: “I kind of felt like no one understood what a good father he was, he was the best cook ever. He was just a normal dad.”
“He made the best French toast in the world,” Paris added.

When she reached seventh grade, Paris went to private school and that’s when she started hanging out with friends who were quite older than her. That led to a lot of things which messed with her head. “I was doing a lot of things that 13-, 14-, 15-year-olds shouldn’t do. I tried to grow up too fast, and I wasn’t really that nice of a person,” she told Rolling Stone.
Today, however, she’s a completely different person. She is pursuing a career in both music and modeling and is very successful at what she does. In 2015, Paris graduated from high school and is now following into her father’s footsteps. She surely has big shoes to fill, but she’s on the right track.

A number of influential magazines were happy to have this incredible lady on their covers. She, however, had her struggles regarding her looks. “I’ve had self-esteem issues for a really, really long time,” she Rolling Stone. “Plenty of people think I’m ugly, and plenty of people don’t. But there’s a moment when I’m modeling where I forget about my self-esteem issues and focus on what the photographer’s telling me – and I feel pretty. And in that sense, it’s selfish.”
Although years have passed after Michael Jackson’s passing, Paris still misses him dearly every single day. Many of her tattoos are a tribute to him and she says that she feels his presence. “I live life with the mentality of ‘OK, I lost the only thing that has ever been important to me.’” she told Rolling Stone. “So going forward, anything bad that happens can’t be nearly as bad as what happened before. So I can handle it.”
The love story of host and comedian Jon Stewart and his wife of 21 years, Tracey McShane, resembles a fairy-tale.
Jon Stewart was born Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz on November 28, 1962 in New York City.
When he was 12, his parents divorced and he had a hard time accepting the reality. Stewart earned a degree in psychology but decided to try himself in the showbiz instead. During his youth, he worked different jobs, including starring in a puppet show about disabled New Jersey public-school children.
“I was a little lost from the age of eighteen to twenty-four,” Jon Stewart told the New Yorker. “I had my midlife crisis early. In 1986, I was living in Hamilton, New Jersey, working for the state and bartending and playing on a landscape company’s softball team. I started thinking, This is it for the next seventy years? So I told my mom I was going to New York to do comedy. I never discussed it with the—what’s the other one called?—dad.”

Although he was inexperienced in the field, Stewart knew he could make a career by making people laugh. Luckily, he was given the chance to perform at The Bitter End, a legendary club where the likes of Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Woody Allen, and Curtis Mayfield once performed.
On the second night there, Stewart decided to perform under his new name after the host failed to pronounce his birth name right.
“The host’s hesitation at trying to pronounce my name the first night bothered me,” Stewart told the New Yorker. “There was slight leftover resentment at the taunting. You don’t want a tauntable handle in show business. And some leftover resentment at my family.”
“But I didn’t really change my name—I just shortened it,” he added. I didn’t want to go as far as making it Dirk Cloud or Poopy Joe, the Rodeo Clown.”

After doing stand-up comedy for three years, Stewart landed a job as the host of The Jon Stewart Show, becoming the first ever talk show host on MTV.
In 1999, he took over from Craig Kilborn as anchorman for the late-night and satirical television show The Daily Show. He became more and more famous with each passing year and today he’s considered one of the greatest hosts and comedians there are. Throughout the years, he received numerous awards, and during his tenure, until 2015 when he decided to leave it, his show won 22 Primetime Emmy Awards, two Grammy Awards and also was nominated for news and journalism awards.
Stewart also hosted the 78th and 80th Academy Awards.
He now hosts The Problem with Jon Stewart, which premiered September 2021 on Apple TV+.

Most times, celebrities marry other famous people, but that wasn’t the case with Stewart. He had already made a name for himself when a co-worker told him there was this girl he might like. Naturally, he decided to call her and then wrote her number on a dollar bill. He, however, forgot about it and spent the dollar, thus lost Tracey’s phone number.
“You know how they used to give out like cast sheets where they have everybody’s phone number who worked on the set, and I got the number there because she was the roommate of the girl. And then I called,” Stewart said.
Speaking of their very first date, Stewart told Larry King: “I have a tendency when I’m nervous to talk a lot, and she has a tendency when she’s nervous not to talk.”
He also told Oprah how he had a feeling that Tracey hated him when she first met him. But that wasn’t the case.

”I was embarrassed by how we met and so nervous that I couldn’t eat,” Tracey told Oprah.
“We stayed out to like three in the morning, and then I arrived at work the next day. He called me like 10 in the morning and said, Would you like to have lunch today,’” Tracey revealed on the podcast PlantStrong. “So we went out to lunch, and then we came back, and we were standing out in front of the building, and he had picked me up and was swinging me around in a circle. And the girls from PR who never knew any of this happened just were walking into the building, like, what is happening.”
Stewart asked her to marry him in the most romantic way possible. The two enjoyed doing the NewYorkTimes crosswords together, so he contacted puzzle master Will Shortz before Valentine’s Day and asked from him to do a crossword for him. It didn’t make to the paper but was sent to Stewart who told Tracey how he downloaded it from the site. After they solved it, the answer read: “Please, Marry Me, Tracey McShane.”
The couple has two children together and are in love with one another as day one.
Tracey is an animal advocate and activist. She has a degree in veterinary science and works at the Bronx Zoo.
On October 20, 2015, Tracey published a children’s book, Do Unto Animals: A Friendly Guide to How Animals Live, and How We Can Make Their Lives Better. The proceedings go to the Farm Sanctuary, which is the home to a number of rescue animals.
“It’s incredible. I’m so proud of her,” Jon Stewart said. “Listen, I’ve always known my wife is a kinder and nicer person than I am. But to know that she is funnier and a better writer — I’m not going to lie to you — stings a little bit,” Stewart praised his wife’s work on his show.
From the moment people noticed actress Bo Derek and her out-of-this-world beauty, they fell for her. This bombshell who is probably best known for her role in 10, directed by her husband, still looks as charming as always.
Even from very young age, Bo knew acting was her calling. She got her first film role when she was just 16 years old, thanks to her mother who worked for the Swedish-American actress Ann-Margeret. It was during the shooting of this movie, Once Upon a Love, that Bo first met her future husband, actor and director John Derek.
At the time, John, who was Bo’s 30 years senior, was married to actress Linda Evans, but he decided to divorce her in order to be with then 17-year-old Bo.
Speaking of her teenage affair, now 64-year-old Bo says how she still feels bad for ruining Evans’ marriage with John.
“I was at least halfway responsible for some serious pain she (Linda Evans) went through. She’d been very gracious and kind … And I just saw her yesterday, funny enough. We were at a jewellery trunk show for charity. And she was just as fabulous and wonderful as ever. I always feel like sh*t when I’m around her. It’s just ingrained, years later,” Bo told Interview Magazine in 2016.
Bo and John dated for 2 years, which they mostly spent in Mexico and Europe in order for John to avoid being arrested for dating a minor, before they got married in Las Vegas in 1976.
A distinctive feature in Bo’s looks back in the day that somehow remained the thing she is remembered for are her cornrow-style, blonde braids. She said how having that hairstyle was her husband’s idea, and she had no idea they would become such an important part of her.
”It was the tail end of the 1970s and everything was fluffy, and I’m blond, and … What are you going to do to look different? John had always thought that that would be a good look for me, just for photography—he’s a great photographer. And we tried it. And he said, ‘Why don’t you take these pictures into Blake and see if he’ll go for it. It would be really good for the part, so you don’t look ordinary,’” she told Interview Magazine.
Throughout the years, Bo played many roles, mostly in movies directed by John, including Tarzan, The Ape Man (1981), Bolero (1984) and Ghosts Can’t Do It (1990) as well as the series 7th Heaven, Lucky, and Queen of Swords.
John Derek passed away in 1998 at the age of 71. Bo didn’t plan to get married again, but she started dating actor John Corbett, 60. “We enjoy each other’s company; we make each other laugh. After 15 years we still hold hands; we still have barbecues with friends a couple times a week,” Bo said a few years back. In 2020, they decided to tie the knot.

Bo has found her passion in horses which are a huge part of her life. She even wrote an autobiography titled Riding Lessons: Everything That Matters in Life I Learned from Horses. Her love for animals made her an animal activist who fights for their rights. She’s especially engaged in missions that call for an end to horse slaughter.

Today, Bo lives a fulfilling life in California and still remains one of the most beautiful actresses.
Below is one of the scenes from 10. Do you remember it?
Mothers are the greatest! I have always admired those moms who have many children because I know how much effort it takes to bring up a child. They need constant care and love, as well as finances for all the things they need.
Alexis Brett is a mother of 11. And boy, isn’t that simply incredible? That means she is constantly busy making sure all of her kids are doing perfectly well, but very blessed at the same time.
However, what is interesting about her kids is that 10 of them are boys, and the youngest one is a girl.
In fact, both Alexis and husband David always knew they wanted a big family, but they never really cared whether the baby would be a boy or a girl. One would assume they were trying for a daughter, which according to them, wasn’t the case.
Speaking to the Mirror, Alexis recalled the moment she was told she was having a daughter. “I’d been expecting to hear we were having another boy. But when I found out it was a girl, my face was a picture,” she said.
The family, which lives in the Scottish Highlands, UK, were over the moon when baby girl Cameron was brought home. She makes a perfect addition to the family. Her parents say she will definitely be treated like a real princess having 10 brothers, aged 2 to 17, who will always be there for her and will have her back her whole life.
“They’ve generally been much better behaved around her,” dad David said, “Trying to keep quiet in case they wake her up. “They also want to help with holding and feeding her – it’s been great.”
This super mom has a lot on her plate but manages everything just perfectly. Her house is never messy and she does 49 laundry loads a week. She also vacuums the place every single day, but says she doesn’t mind that.
Asked if she and David are considering having more kids in the future, she says the answer is a big no, no.
“We’re definitely stopping now,” she says. “There’ll be no more. I said that last time, but this time I absolutely mean it. I love my family as it is now.”
Buying pink clothes for the first time seems like a super experience for this super mom. She is definitely happy to be having so many beautiful children. May God bless this lovely family!
