We often tend to believe that all the celebrities have been given all they have on a plate. The reality is quite different, and most of these people who live glamorous lives and have millions of fans from all over the world had to work really hard for what they have and who they are today.

Although she comes from a family of famous engineers and architects, Raquel Welch’s life wasn’t always smooth sailing. Born in 1940 as Jo Raquel Tejada, Welch tried herself as a ballerina during her young age, but her coach thought she just didn’t have the “right figure.” As a result, Welch decided to use her natural beauty and appeared in several beauty contests, winning most of them. At the age of 14, Welch was crowned Miss San Diego.

“I wasn’t good at dealing with reality… I wanted a storybook life, to be Rapunzel and Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, all the beautiful ladies that wonderful men came along on their big white horses and dragged away. Which is not remarkable, a lot of kids grow up that way. But I decided it was gonna happen,” Welch said back in 1974.

When she turned 18, Welch married James Welch, but the two untied the knot in 1961 after which she moved to Texas with their two children.

Welch had a hard time coping with reality and taking care of her kids all by herself, but the thought of becoming an actress never left her.

How else would her wish of so many years come true if not in Hollywood. So, her next step was moving there and being as close as never to this incredible world of glamour. There, Welch met her second husband, press agent Patrick Curtis. This man was so in love with Welch that he managed to present her to the world as a celebrity without her even playing in a single movie at the time, all thanks to her curves and her sensual face. That, however, was a great start to the rich career that would await this icon.

She didn’t start huge but played some small roles in various movies, including Elvis Presley’s film Roustabout (1964).

Then, she stole the hearts of the lovers of film playing in Fantastic Voyage (1966) and One Million Years B.C. “I had made another movie which was a big step up for me (Fantastic Voyage),” she said during an interview with the Sunday Post in 2018. That “should have been released before One Million Years B.C., but the special effects delayed it, so I was the dinosaur lady first and the science lady second,” Welch said.

Playing a cave girl in One Million Years B.C, Welch only had a single line, but that didn’t stop her from showing her incredible talent and her breathtaking looks. “I had no other credentials as an actress outside of that one laughable line of dialogue: ‘Me Loana… You Tumak.’ It felt like I’d stumbled into a booby trap – pun intended. I’m a living proof that a picture speaks a thousand words,” Welch said.

Throughout the years, Welch took part in many films and she even got her own television program called Raquel! Her healthy lifestyle and her passion for yoga resulted in her publishing a book with exercises.

Men’s Health named her second hottest woman of all time in their 2014 issue.

Welch married four times, and although she claimed she had true feeling for all her husbands, none of the relationships lasted long.

At the age of almost 80, Welch still steals hearts from fans from all over the world and is still dubbed one of the most beautiful women ever.

Mom has been criticized for posting photos online of her son doing chores around the house, from cleaning to cooking

Societies tend to consider many things to be either boys’ or girls’. Somehow, it is always expected from the females to know how to cook, do the laundry, and clean the house, while most males are expected to be skillful with tools and do sports.

When boys or men do what is believed to be a female responsibility, people find that strange and something to be laughed about.

One mother from Michigan, Nicole Boulogne, came under fire when she posted photos of her 7-year-old son cooking and cleaning the house. Many questioned her parenting because they believed boys shouldn’t do chores and help around the house because according to them, that is a woman’s job.

Being a single mom of two, Nicole is doing her best to teach her kids to be independent. She does everything around the house, but at the same time, she believes that her kids need to learn to do things themselves because it will help them later in life.

Her older child knows how to cook simple things, how to mow the lawn, and do the dishes. Her other child is still a toddler, but she’s planning on teaching him how to do the same once he reaches certain age.

When asked why she teaches her child do things like these, she has the perfect response.

“I teach my son to cook & do household chores. Why? Because household work isn’t just for women. Because one day he might be a single man, living on his own, who will actually know how to do laundry & not eat take out every night. Because one day he might want to impress a significant other with a meal cooked by his own hands. Because one day when he has kids & a spouse, he’s going to need to do his fair share around the home. Because I leave in a generation of people who complain that school didn’t teach us how to cook, do laundry, tie a tie, or pay taxes. Because teaching my son how to do these things and be a productive member of society both outside the home and inside, starts with ME. Because it’s ok to let your child be a child but still teach them lifelong lessons along the way. My son will never be too “manly” to cook or do chores. He will be the kind of man who can come inside from changing a tire to check on his pot roast. Who can properly sort his laundry and mow the lawn too. Remember parents, a man who believes he shouldn’t have to cook or do chores was once a boy who was never taught any better,” she wrote.

Science is definitely on this mom’s side. Studies find that children who are allowed to help around the house learn how to take responsibility and dare to take initiative and achieve high goals later in life.

Way to go, Nicole. We believe you do an awesome job as a mom.

Couple bring newly adopted baby on plane to fly home – then all the passengers start cheering

Most couples dream of welcoming a baby in their life once they get married. For some, these things go very smoothly, but others struggle to conceive.

Caren and Dustin Moore have been together for a very long time. They had been looking forward to welcoming a new addition to their family, but things had been hard and they failed at getting pregnant. Luckily, their wish came true when they adopted a precious baby girl just before the coronavirus pandemic.

On their flight home, the sweet bundle of joy behaved just perfectly most of the time, but as we all know, babies do cry for no apparent reason, and Moore’s daughter is no exception.

At first, the sweet girl needed her diaper changed and the flight attendants were more than happy to give the new mom a helping hand. They took her to the back of the plane and told her they were there to assist her with whatever she needed.

Later on, the crew learned how the baby was adopted because they heard the Moores apologizing for the crying as they were telling some of the passengers of their journey called parenthood.

That’s when the flight attendants, including a couple named Bobby and Jenny, decided to do something super cute for the new parents. “The attendant Bobby came on and announced a special guest on the flight. Our daughter. ‘She’s just been adopted by her parents Caren and Dustin, and is making her way home.’ The entire cabin erupted in cheers and applause,” Caren told CBS News of the lovely gesture.

But that wasn’t all. Bobby and Jenny then handed small pieces of paper to the passengers so that they could write advice and tips for the Moores. Needless to say, those words written down meant the world to Caren and Dustin.

One person wrote, “Enjoy every minute, because they will go faster than you think,” while another added, “Drink more wine.” However, it was the following note that made a deep impression. It said: “I was adopted 64 years ago. Thank you for giving this child a loving family to be part of. Us adopted kids need a little extra love. Congratulations.”

What an incredible story. The Moore family got a baby shower high in the sky and we are sure this day will be remembered as one of the best in their lives.

Parents refuse to terminate the pregnancy with the “malformed” baby

There is nothing more exciting and more fulfilling for a couple than the bundle of joy bound to make all their tomorrows shine a bit brighter.

When Sara Heller and her husband learned they were expecting a baby, they were over the moon. They couldn’t wait to welcome the little miracle in their lives.

However, when Sara was just 24 weeks pregnant, the doctors told her how her child will be born with a facial deformation. That crushed the parents-to-be but never changed the way they felt for their child.

The two were ready to do everything in their power to provide him with all the love, affection, and support in the world.

The ultrasound showed Brody had a bilateral cleft lip and palate. During the first 6 to 10 weeks of pregnancy the bones of the upper jaw of the fetus come together in order to form the roof of the mouth and the upper lip. When the tissue doesn’t fuse, a cleft palate happens.

Very often, this condition triggers other health issues at the baby, although nowadays it is operable without further affecting the quality of life.

The couple was determined to keep the baby no matter what. They loved little Brody even though they had no idea how he would look like once they welcome him into the world.

They were ready to do anything to provide him with all the care he would need. The only thing was certain, he would be the most loved baby ever, surrounded with a mom and dad who will never leave his side.

Brody’s mother, Sara, said:

“It is OK to be proud of your baby no matter the circumstances. We wanted to change what ultrasound/newborn/first year pictures on our Facebook/Instagram accounts looked like. We wanted to spread awareness of cleft lips and palates.”

They were aware the baby could have difficulties breathing, eating, drinking, and even talking if the condition wasn’t surgically treated.

Sara and Chris were proud of their baby and shared his photos on social media wanting to make people aware that being different is not that bad and that we should accept each other despite our physical appearance. Luckily, most of the people who would see Brody reacted in a kind manner. Of course there were those who were interested to know what was wrong with the baby’s face.

Sara wasn’t angry when people would stop her and ask her questions regarding her son’s deformity, on the contrary, she was glad she could educate people about the condition.

She said:

“I decided to educate rather than create a confrontation because that is what I want Brody to do in the future. I will want him to educate, to be an advocate for younger cleft kids who don’t have their own voice yet.”

One night while having dinner at a restaurant, the waitress approached Sara and handed her a folded piece of paper. When she opened it, she couldn’t hold her tears back. There was a check for $1000 and a message saying “For the beautiful baby.” This came from a complete stranger and Sara said this kind deed restored their faith in humanity.

When the time came for the beautiful Brody to undergo the surgery, they used the money to cover part of the expenses.

The surgery was successful and baby Brody recovered well. He needs other surgeries in the future, but the parents are happy with the progress he makes.

Sara said:

“This experience has shown us just how strong the cleft community is. We’ve been contacted by people all over the country. they are praying for us and asking us to reach out if we need anything.”

This is how beautiful Brody looks like today. He’s a real beauty and his mom and dad are happy they made the right decision to keep him when everyone though he should be aborted.

Officers stop woman who ran a red light and rescue four kidnapped children from back of her stolen van

Officer Parrish and Officer Flannel were conducting a routine stop when they noticed a large van speeding through a red light. They rushed to stop the woman behind the wheel and what attracted their attention were the four children at the back of the van who looked scared and were crying.

When they asked the woman if the children were hers, she said yes. However, as she didn’t seem to be telling the truth, they asked the children if the woman was their mother, to what they shook their heads.

“Once the officers stopped, they see that there are children in the back crying,” a prosecutor said, as per Click On Detroit. “They ask Ms. Binder, ‘Are these your children?’ and she says yes. The officers, due to the emotions of the children in the back, ask if they know this woman, and the children shake their heads. At this point, Ms. Binder is detained.”

The woman, 37-year-old Stephanie Marie Binder, kidnapped the four children earlier that day as they walked to school. As per Yahoo News, she took them from the side of the road after she forced the youngest, who was five years old, to enter the van she was driving, which wasn’t hers but stolen. The rest of the children, all siblings to the five year old, who were 7, 8 and 11 years old, tried to save their little brother and followed him to the van.

The abduction was caught on a doorbell camera, which is the sole footage of the kidnapping.

After the two officers saved the children, Binder was arrested and charged with four counts of kidnapping – child enticement, four counts of unlawful imprisonment, one count of unlawfully driving away of an automobile, and one count of receiving and concealing stolen property – a motor vehicle.

Luckily, the kids were safely taken home to their family.

The eldest child was honored for remaining calm and protecting his siblings.

“Here’s a young man who took a risk and is getting a reward, and hopefully, that leaves an indelible impression on him to not be a bystander,” said Rev. Horace Sheffield III, of New Destiny Christian Fellowship.

Had it not been for officers Parrish and Flannel, God knows what would have happened to the four siblings.

Keith Urban performs an incredible Bee Gees cover – The original singer is brought to tears

Over the years, a great number of musicians who left a profound impact on the music industry have walked this Earth. What is interesting, though, is that most of them found inspiration in the work of those creating and performing music way before them.

Some of those musicians who inspired a huge number of other stars are the Bee Gees. The group was formed back in 1958, featuring brothers Barry, the only living member, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. They were extremely successful as a popular music act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, turning to the disco-music during the late 1970s.

One of our all time favorite songs by them, To Love Somebody, was performed by another very prominent musician, Keith Urban, back in 2017. Urban spoke openly of the influence the Bee Gees brothers had on him while growing up and wanted to pay tribute to Billy who was in the audience.

Urban’s performance was described as pure perfection and many agree how he did justice to both the song and Billy who was listening in awe.

Halfway through the performance which sparked deep emotions, the band and the backing singers joined Urban, and later, the audience was singing along as well. It was truly a very touching and special moment.

Once shared on Facebook, the rendition of To Love Somebody gained over 54 million views, and everyone loves it. “Absolutely Awesome. What a wonderful tribute to our own Bee Gees. I truly believe Barry and his wife Linda were very blessed by Keith Urban and his heartfelt tribute to the legacy of the Bee Gees. God Bless you Keith. You are a legend.”

“This song should be on the charts in its own right. Gave me goose bumps. That’s when you know it is a number one. I an a blurs, soul mab. But Kieth urban you are in a league of your own great rendition” are some of the comments.

Boy dressed as a British soldier gets surprise of his life when Queen’s guard starts to approach, singling him out

When we speak of the Buckingham Palace, we can’t help but think of the queen’s guardsmen, who are considered to be one of the most disciplined servicemen in the world.

When they visit UK and some of the most iconic Royal locations, visitors can’t help but snap photos of the Queen’s Guard. They do look special with their tall bearskin hats. But what is even more special about these people is that they can’t get easily distracted, no matter what is going on around them.

Many people try to make them smile or react in any way, but that sounds like a mission impossible.

Well, one little boy named Marshall Scott did the incredible. He made one of the guards approach him and salute him, and we are so glad the heartwarming scene was caught on tape.

According to Marshall’s mother, her boy has always been fascinated with the Queen’s Guard, so, for his fourth birthday, his parents decided to treat him with a visit of the Palace. During the special occasion, the sweet boy was dressed like a guard himself, including the tall bearskin hat.

As she was starring at them, some members of the guard started marching towards their barracks, but then, one of them marched back and saluted the boy. Marshall was so fascinated that he rushed towards the guard and stood next to him, doing the salute himself. The guard then stomped next to the boy as a sign of respect and marched back inside.

What this guard did sure meant the world to Marshall. His fascination with these servicemen only grew bigger because of this incredible experience.

The video of the beautiful encounter has been seen more than 28 million times to date, and all for the right reasons. People couldn’t help but praise the guard’s act.

Later, it was revealed that the guard who took his time to salute Marshall was Lance Corporal Paul Edden who explained why he did what he did.

“It’s not the usual thing to happen while on guard. Usually, I would just take the guardsmen in the guardroom as normal. But my wife and I are expecting a baby boy, and I remembered standing at Edinburgh Castle when I was younger, hoping to get a picture with a soldier.”

It’s safe to say that The Fresh Prince has built an astounding career in film. The world first learned of Will Smith when he conquered the music scene as part of the hip hop duo with DJ Jazzy Jeff. He, however, achieved wider fame with his fictionalized self-portrayal on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air which ran from 1990 to 1996. Ever since, he starred in a number of acclaimed movies such as Bad Boys, the sequel Man in Black opposite Tommy Lee Jones, the thrillers Independence Day and Enemy of the State, as well as I, Robot, The Pursuit of Happyness, and a lot more. Over the years, he has received a number of awards, including an Oscar for his portrayal of Richard Williams, the father and coach of famed tennis players Venus and Serena Williams, in the biographical sports drama King Richard.

During the Oscars, host Chris Rock made a joke about Will Smith’s wife Jada’s alopecia, which made Smith get on stage and hit Rock. As a result, the actor has been banned from attending Academy functions, including the Oscars, for ten years.

Back in the day, during an appearance in Variety’s “Actors on Actors,” Smith revealed to Benicio del Toro what made him pursue a career in music and later in film. “When I was 15, my girlfriend cheated on me,” the 53-year-old actor said. “And from that moment, in this bizarre psychological twist, I wanted to be the most famous entertainer on Earth.”

So, we have his ex to thank to for Smith’s career and all the roles he has treated us with over the years.

Today, Smith is happily married to Jada Pinkett Smith. The two have been together for 25 years. They have two children together, who are celebs in their own right, Willow Smith and Jaden Smith. The actor has another son, Trey, with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino.

Speaking of what keeps their relationship of many years going strong, Smith says it’s perseverance.

“We’ve been married 20 years and we’ve been asking ourselves [what’s the secret to marriage] and really at the end of the day it’s just not quitting,” Smith revealed of his wife back in 2015. “You can’t expect it to be easy, it’s like our marriage was the most difficult, grueling, excruciating thing that we have ever taken on in our lives. And, you know, were just not quitters.”

Magazines have been writing about Smith and Pinkett’s open marriage many times, but they don’t pay attention to what people say of the way they decided to live their life.

“We only ever worked on ourselves individually,” he said, “and then presented ourselves to one another better than we were previously.”

After 14 years together, Bruce Willis’s wife drops truth we’ve all suspected about their marriage

With a joint statement published on social media, actor Bruce Willis’ family confirmed that the star of the Die Hard franchise is stepping away from his career due to aphasia diagnosis.

This condition affects the ability to comprehend or formulate language because of damage to specific brain regions. It is mostly caused by a stroke or traumatic injury.

Bruce’s daughter, Rumer, took to Instagram to share the news which left millions of fans devastated. Along with a photo of her father, she wrote: “To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities.

“As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.”

Bruce’s acting career has been an incredible one, to say the least. Over the years, he has played in a number of iconic movies which helped him establish himself as one of the greatest actors of all time.

He first rose to fame with the TV show Moonlighting which brought him an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe. This versatile actor has showed Hollywood that there is no role he can’t execute to perfection.

Among the movies that marked his career are Armageddon, Pulp Fiction, The Fifth Element, The Last Boy Scout, Twelve Monkeys, The Sixth Sense, Looper and Moonrise Kingdom.

He has also tried himself in family comedies. Just last year, Bruce starred in seven films, and three have already been released this year, none of which received critical acclaim. Eight more films, which are completed, are set to be released in 2022 and 2023.

In recent years, most of his work has been limited to minor roles in low-budget projects which triggered speculations about the reasons behind it. While some believed he was aiming to easy pay-checks, there were those who suspected something could be wrong with his health.

The “Golden Raspberry Awards,” an annual awards ceremony that honors the worst in film, created a whole category dedicated to Bruce’s recent work called “Worst Performance by Bruce Willis in a 2021 Movie,” making fun of his eight direct-to-video performances.

It has been reported by certain media outlets and magazines that some of Bruce’s co-workers did suspect something was wrong with the A-list actor as he had been spotted wearing earpiece on set.

Having been one of the Hollywood’s highest-paid actors, it’s safe to say that Bruce Willis has his retirement fund settled. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the actor has a net worth of $250 million.

Recently, a source shared with US Weekly that Bruce’s family is honored by the response from the public. They revealed that they are “deeply touched at the sheer outpouring of love and support they’ve received ever since they shared the news,” the insider told the magazine.

As it appears, his closest family, including his ex and his current wife, were well aware of Bruce’s health condition for some time before they decided to break the news to the public. Sharing the diagnosis with the fans brought a “sense of relief” to the family because it means that the actor can now focus on his health without being disturbed by speculations about the reasons which led to his retirement from the big screen.

Following the diagnosis, Bruce was pictured with 10-year-old daughter Mabel and wife Emma Heming Willis, who took the selfie along with the caption: “PJS and new Magic Johnson doc, perfection.”

We will miss this great actor on screen, but we are glad he’s getting the help he needs.

Mom’s honest letter to son gives him “rude awakening”

The idea of having a child is a thrilling one, and things are more or less perfect while the kids are still very young. However, once they reach certain age, they believe they are mature enough to do things their own way which makes moms and dads feel helpless or as they failed as parents. The thing is that most teenagers go through this stage, and many realize (sooner or later) that they were wrong and that they should take their parents advice.

Heidi Johnson is a loving mother who does all in her power to give her son the life he deserves. Of course, she expects from him to respect her and be polite and nice in return. Well, more or less like every other parent out there.

Aaron on the other hand is convinced that with his 13 years he’s old enough to do whatever he pleases, and that includes disrespecting his mom’s house rules.

Heidi wouldn’t put up with such behavior and decided to take matters in her own hands, and now the way she dealt with her teenage son’s arrogance and misbehavior has gone viral.

Namely, she accidentally posted the letter that contains a ‘bill’ that Aaron should pay every month for the things he was getting for free such as rent and food. She believed that would teach him a lesson, and as it turns out she nailed it.

“The child is going to have a rude awakening today after the words he exchanged with me last night. Not only will he find this on the door, but his mattress stripped, and the toys and clothes that I bought confiscated. He will have three options.. Buy his own, rent his clothes at $3 a day, or renegotiate his terms of being a child. Mama’s done playing games and being a doormat.”

Different people reacted differently to the post. While some of them praised this mom’s action, others believed she overreacted and didn’t approve of her disciplinary repercussion.

“Way to go, Mom. Your son will be an excellent roommate, friend, guest, spouse, employee because you taught him consequences,” one Facebook user wrote.

“Well done!!! That’s how you raise self disciplined,responsible caring human beings to be proud of!!” Another Facebook user exclaimed, supporting Heidi’s parenting style.

According to some, she should have found a better way to tell her son his behavior wasn’t appropriate.

“Basically, you are a bully, who is using her power over her son to force him to do what she wants. Yeah, that works…until they are actually independent,” one person commented.

Heidi, however, believes she knows best and is only trying to teach Aaron about the right values in life. This is what she had to say to defend her action.

“I wrote him a “bill” to make a point. Nothing comes free. Someone is making a sacrifice some where down the line. When I realized he had lied to me about homework, I put time constrictions to his internet access.”

Aaron was mad for what his mom did because he believed no one had the right to tell him how to live his life. This is mainly because he has his own YouTube channel and makes some money from it, so despite being just 13, he felt like he could be completely independent.

“Really? What are you going to do? You can’t take my stuff…” Heidi shared Aaron’s initial reaction towards his punishment.

However, after he gave it a second thought, he understood his mom’s point and realized she was right. He said how he won’t lie about his homework again and would respect her opinion.

“He apologized, and asked what could he do to make things better and start earning items back. He earned his comforter and some clothes right back. I did leave him some clothes to begin with, just not the ones he would want to wear everyday. He also had some pillows and sheets, just not his favorite ones.” Heidi added.

At the end, the two came up with the idea of creating a contract about the things Aaron is expected to do.

They are not getting along and Heidi is glad she found the way to make her son realize his mistake.

Child star Jonathan Lipnicki from ”Stuart Little” and ”Jerry McGuire” is all grown up

No matter how humble someone is, becoming famous means experiencing troubles staying grounded. Most of the celebrities enjoy their fame and live luxurious lives while under the limelight. However, there are also those who opt for a quieter life, despite being recognized worldwide for what they do.

Actor Jonathan Lipnicki seems to be part of the latter. He had his major breakthrough playing the role of Ray in the movie Jerry McGuire when he was just five years old. His cuteness stole the hearts of millions of fans and he is considered one of the best child actors. Jonathan found himself on the VHS’s list of the ‘100 Greatest Kid Stars’ and ranked number 8 on E’s ”Cutest Child Stars: All Grown Up.”

None of Jonathan’s parents or family members were into acting, so how did it all start for him?

His older sister, Alexis, showed interest in acting, and Jonathan followed her. ”My sister was in an acting class and I gave it a try. I loved it right off the bat and started auditioning. I booked a few commercials and then Jerry Maguire,” the child actor said.

Well, this movie and the chance to act alongside huge names like Tom Cruise, who is still Jonathan’s favorite actor ever, and Renée Zellweger opened the doors to Hollywood to him, and soon after, he landed another much-loved role, that of George Little in the animated/live-action comedy Stuart Little.

He was also part of the sequel in 2002 and the film was a huge success.

After that, Jonathan played in a number of films and series, including Dawson’s Creek, before he felt he had it enough of filming and turned to an ordinary life and practicing martial arts.

While at middle school, his friends teased him for being an actor. ”As a kid/teen I was made fun of relentlessly by some people who are now even my friends on FB,” he wrote on his Instagram. ”I was told I was a has-been and would never book a job again. I was made to feel like garbage every day of middle school.”

However, a few years after graduating, our favorite child star got back to Hollywood and has been acting ever since. This year, he played the role of Sydney ’The Chef’ Lawson in the horror movie Broil.

Today, the actor is 30 years old and he’s involved in a number of organizations, including the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. His impact and role within these foundations is huge. In 2001, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation hailed Jonathan as one of its “Heroes of 2001” for his work.

Jonathan’s net worth is around $5 million, and he is yet to show what he’s capable of when it comes to acting. We have to agree that he turned into a nice guy and is looking cute.

During the time tennis was still considered a male dominated sport, a young girl with incredible talent started winning this sport’s courts and people’s hearts.

Anna Kournikova, born in Moscow on June 7, 1981, fell in love with tennis when she was still just a little girl. It was around the age of five when she first held a tennis racket in her hand and felt that was it.

As years went by, the entire world learned of this blonde prodigy who won every single junior tournament there was to be won. Not only that, but Anna became the prime interest of a number of sport companies who wanted a piece of her and were eager to be part of her successful story.

In the book Chicken Soup for the Soul: Extraordinary Teens: Personal Stories and Advice from Today’s Most Inspiring Youth, Anna wrote: “I played well and I enjoyed the sport so my parents challenged me some more. Two years later, I began taking lessons at a professional tennis club where a lot of the current Russian tennis players were trained.

“Sure enough, tennis quickly became my life, my outlet, my circle of friends and my community. My coach was basically my second mother,” she continued.

“Everything in my life was about tennis and training. Somehow I knew, even though I was just a kid, that I didn’t really have many other options. At the time, life in Russia was tough – there weren’t that many opportunities there like there are in the Untied States.”

The word of Anna’s talent spread all the way to the most prominent tennis coaches on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. IMG Tennis, a global tennis management company, were among the first who reached Anna’s family and offered them to move to their Lord Tennis Academy. At the time, Anna was 10, and by the age of 13, IMG helped her become a millionaire.

The truth was that Anna was more than just a talented tennis player. She was a beautiful young lady whose appearance stunned everyone, and according to many, that wow factor was a huge plus.

“Even before her results started, even when she was a junior, people talked about her at IMG – which is creepy and gross, but it still happens to this day; ‘Oh my God, you should see this 12-year-old, she’s beautiful,’” New York Times tennis writer Ben Rothenburg said on the No Challenges Remaining podcast.

“People saw her as this package, and she became that.”

Anna moved to Florida and started playing at the legendary Nick Bollettieri’s tennis academy and at the age of just 14, she became a pro.

“For a lot of sports, most people don’t start playing professionally at fourteen, but tennis is one of those sports where rigorous training starts at a very young age,” she explained.

“In fact, as I remember it, it wasn’t even a question of turning pro or not. I was groomed for so many years in preparation for this opportunity that I never even questioned it, I was both eager and hungry to prove myself on the WTA tour…. I had won everything I could win on the Junior Circuit so I was really excited to move on to the next level.”

All of a sudden, Anna Kournikova became a global phenomenon adored by millions. The list of sponsors willing to work with her was getting longer and money wouldn’t stop pouring in. She lived her dream.

At the age of 18, Anna was considered a “sex symbol” who was on the covers of many prestigious magazines.

Her career blossomed. She won the Wimbledon double title together with Martina Hingis in 1999 and 2002, and things couldn’t have been better from a commercial standpoint. At the peak of her fame, fans looking for images of Anna Kournikova made her name one of the most common search strings on Google Search.

But then, in 2003, at the age of just 22, Anna was forced to retire from tennis due to injuries.

“You know, the fame and everything, I guess most of it was created by you guys, by the media a lot of times, most of the time the yellow press,” she said on the evening she announced her retirement, as per AU Sports.

“[I] never tried to pay attention. I mean, obviously, it was a little hard times dealing with it being 16, 17 years old, reading some kind of c**p about yourself, you know. Most of it was made up.”

Despite ending her tennis career, Anna Kournikova remained under the limelight. She turned to modeling and appeared in a number of commercials. She also appeared in the music video Escape, by Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias, and that’s when the two started dating.

“I’ve never met her before, but I’m a big fan,” he said at the time. “I’m sure a lot of guys want to meet her. I’m one of them. She’s beautiful, talented, great tennis player, you know, and I’m sure she’s going to be great in the video.”

Anna and Enrique have been together since 2001 and have three children together, twins Lucy and Nicholas who were born in 2017, and daughter Mary, born in 2020.

“I love being a mum, I absolutely wanted to have children, whether I had my own or adopted. I love taking care of people,” Anna told Tennis World USA in 2019.

“Marriage isn’t important to me,” she added. “I believe in being open and trusting each other, and respecting each other completely. We’ve been together for years. He’s the male version of me, and I’m the female version of him.”

Today, Anna Kournikova is 40 and looks as amazing as ever. She has a net worth of $50 million.

Anna was a trainer for season 12 of the television show The Biggest Loser but did not return for season 13. Former rocker gets a makeover weeks before his wedding

Mother carries fatally ill baby in the womb for a full term to donate organs to those in need

Krysta Davis of Cleveland, Tennessee, was 23 when she had a miscarriage. She and her husband, Derek Lovett, were heartbroken. But then, they learned she was pregnant again, and their days turned a bit brighter.

Everything seemed fine with their baby girl, but then, when Davis reached 18 weeks of pregnancy, their hearts were broken again. The little one had anencephaly, a rare health condition where a baby is missing certain parts of their skull or brain. The devastated parents were told that their daughter wouldn’t live more than an hour after birth.

“It was definitely shocking. It was a huge heartbreak knowing that we’d miscarried previously and were having complications with this pregnancy… it was really hard to take in,” Davis said. “We were going to cherish what time we had with her.”

These parents had two options, to either induce labor right away or carry the baby to term and donate her organs to other babies in need. They chose the latter. Imagine the strength and bravery one needs to possess to make such a decision.

“[The doctor] said babies with anencephaly don’t tend to survive birth let alone cord-cutting. There was no outcome where she would be able to survive on her own for very long if at all,” she said. “We decided that even if we couldn’t bring our daughter home, no mother would have to go through what we were going to go through.”

Rylei Arcadia Diane Lovett was born at 40 weeks. Despite doctors’ prognosis that she would live just an hour at most, this sweetie was by her parents’ side for a whole week. During that time, she never cried. The only time she did cry was when she took her last breath and left this world.

Rylei was born on Christmas and died on New Year’s Eve. The time she spent with her parents was so precious that it changed their lives forever.

“It was absolutely amazing going from knowing we were maybe gonna get 30 minutes with her at most to having a week with her was more than we could have ever expected or imagined,” Davis said. “We were able to fit an entire lifetime of love into that one week with her that wasn’t promised to begin with. She just smiled the whole time. She was such a good baby.”

Rylei’s lungs were donated to a research hospital and her heart valves went to two children in need. It’s been really hard coming to terms with the fact that she’s really gone. But it’s also been a great month that we’ve got to share her story,” said Davis. “It’s helped a lot to be able to help other women in our situation, and hear their stories. It warms our hearts to know that [Rylei’s life] will give two other babies a second chance at life.”

Despite losing their girl, these parents were glad she would continue to live through the children whose lives she saved.

Three years after Rylei passed away, her mother shared photos of her on the Facebook page dedicated to this girl’s short but meaningful life. “I can’t believe it’s already been 3 whole years since the first time I held this tiny little human. 3 years since you took your first breath… I am so thankful for the time I had with you, but what I wouldn’t give to see you now… Happy birthday, precious girl.”

Amber Heard’s friend Eve Barlow slams Depp’s women supporters for HATING Heard out of ‘envy’

It’s safe to say that the ongoing court trial involving Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has been the hot topic all around the world. Millions of people are eager to see the outcome of the turbulent trial between the now ex-couple.

Many people who believe that Depp is the victim blame Heard of humiliating the real victims of domestic abuse. Others, however, stand by her side. One of the people who is supporting Heard is her good friend Eve Barlow, a British music writer.

Barlow took to Twitter to explain that many women see Heard as the villain only because they “envy her beauty.”

According to her tweet from May 10, those women who despise Amber Heard are the ones with poor self-esteem. Barlow further wrote that these women are full of prejudice towards classic feminine strength and beauty, something Heard possesses.

Barlow was previously ejected from the courthouse for texting and tweeting in the front row during the start of the former couple’s $50 million defamation lawsuit.

Barlow’s tweet was a reply to a query from legal expert Dr. Charlotte Proudman who asked her followers on Twitter, “Do women dislike other women? Also, in the event that you figure they do, why?”

Depp has sued Heard on the grounds that she defamed him in an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post. The trial has been broadcast on Court TV and according to Vanity Fair, the channel’s ratings have doubled as a huge number of people closely follow the accusations the exes are throwing at each other.

Last week, Heard testified that Depp abused her back in 2015 during a drug-fueled fight and threatened to “carve up” her face with a bottle. Her testimony is expected to continue on Monday.

During the past few days, a number of videos showing people reenacting Heard’s testimony that Johnny Depp slapped her emerged on TikTok. There is also a petition asking Heard to be removed from Aquaman 2 which is set to be released in 2023.

Referring to the videos, which TikTok is trying to remove, Barlow wrote, “Listen, everyone who defends Amber Heard’s TikTok abuse is operating in bad faith.

“You can’t argue that it doesn’t discourage survivors from coming forward; anybody deliberately ridiculing abuse testimony is contributing to that silence. Period.”

Actress Helen Mirren details the loss of her stepson Rio Hackford

Actress Helen Mirren and her husband Taylor Hackford spoke of the loss of actor Rio Hackford, Taylor’s biological son and Helen’s stepson.

Rio began his career in 1990, first appearing in the film Pretty Woman, where he played the uncredited role of a street junkie. Other films he was part of were Safe, Exit to Eden, Déjà Vu, I Love Your Work, Blood In, Blood Out, Treasure Island, Sherrybaby and Strange Days. Besides his career in film, Rio owned clubs in New Orleans and was a husband and a father of two.

Helen and Taylor revealed in a statement that the cause of Rio’s death was uveal melanoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

The couple also wanted to encourage everyone to get their eyes tested at least once a year, as preventive care of their health.

Needless to say, the family was left utterly heartbroken. Helen said that her stepson taught them how to live in community and generosity. He truly was a very special man.

They are still morning his loss and do all in their power to celebrate and honor his life journey that ended way too soon.

“Worthy experience isn’t everywhere. But Rio knew the closest to you at any given moment, and keeping track of these precious possibilities for you was his most fluent language of love,” Rio’s friend and screenwriter D.V. DeVincentis wrote on Instagram. “Rio was the apex curator of experience, it was his oxygen, his life.”

Rio Hackford was 51. May he rest in peace.

Woman puts her one-week-old baby up “for sale” for $3,900 so she can buy a new pair of boots

Luiza Gadzhieva, a mother of four from Russia, decided to sell her newborn baby on the black market. According to police reports, she allegedly told her sister that she wanted to get rid of the one-week-old baby daughter because she set eyes on a pair of boots she liked a lot and was planning to buy the footwear with the money.

She even posted an ad in which she explained that she was willing to sell her girl to a family willing to adopt her.

Mere minutes after putting up the ad, she started receiving messages from potential buyers. One person told her they were willing to pay a little over $3900 for the baby and she accepted it. Little did she know, however, that she would try to make a deal with law enforcement officers working under cover.

Lizia told the potential buyer that she would wait for him at one Moscow coffee shop. Once there, she handed the baby the moment she received the money without showing any sign of regret for her cruel action. After the police made sure the baby girl was in safe hands, they arrested Luiza.

This horrible mother was contacted by the anti-slavery group Alternativa shortly after she posted the ad and was warned that her baby could end up in the wrong hands, but she didn’t care and simply proceeded with her plan.

“We tried in every possible way to explain to her that bad, dangerous conditions awaited the child. We warned that the baby would be handed over to gypsies, but she was little interested in what would happen [to her daughter],” the group said.

“The height of cynicism was her correspondence with her sister, who knew about everything, and in which the child’s mother discussed what boots she will buy for herself after selling the baby,” the group’s spokesperson explained and added, “It is not known what would have happened to this child.”

Armed thief tries to terrorize passengers on train – 52-year-old ex-boxer teaches him a lesson

Many believe that those people who are courageous don’t feel fear. The truth is that fear is a natural condition we all experience, but some people are able to manage it and overcome it so that it doesn’t prevent them from taking action.

It was around 5:50 in the morning when a man named Jean-Paul LaPierre from Boston was on the Blue Line train at Chicago’s Cumberland station trying to get to the Chicago marathon. All of a sudden, he noticed many of the passengers were disturbed and were going to the wrong direction. When he asked them what was going on, they said there was an armed robber in the train who was holding some of the passengers at gunpoint.

Without thinking twice, 52-year-old LaPierre, who happened to be a former boxer, decided to approach the robber.

The robber, who was later identified as 30-year-old Tremaine Anderson, was a well-known felon to the police.

At first, LaPierre asked Anderson to hand him the weapon, but when he refused to do so, LaPierre managed to disarm him. Although Anderson was way younger and taller, LaPierre still managed to defeat him thanks to his skills of a trained fighter.

The video of the incident shows the moment LaPierre manages to corner the robber against the train’s door as he says: “I’m a boxer. I’ll break your head in one punch. I could hit you 7 times in 3 seconds.”

He was able to keep the robber cornered until police arrived.

Once police took Anderson over, he resisted arrest and tried to escape, but LaPierre intervened once again and expertly flipped him over so the police could handcuff him.

La Pierre showed incredible bravery and didn’t get scared even when Anderson’s accomplices threatened to hurt him if he didn’t leave their friend alone.

What’s most impressive of all is that LaPierre still managed to run Chicago’s 12th marathon as though nothing happened.

One of Anderson’s victims happened to be taking part in the marathon as well. He made sure to thank LaPierre for acting quickly and preventing a tragedy from taking place.

Police released a statement saying Anderson has been charged with robbery with a firearm without the option of a bond. His criminal record is an extensive one. He has been charged with robbery, battery, and public indecency in the past.

“This man literally put his life in danger to save others, very courageous! Well done Sir,” one of the comments under the video of LaPierre’s brave act says. We truly believe that this man is a hero in every sense of the word.

Mom shares how the formula shortage is affecting her baby, and it’s an awful reality parents are facing right now

Recent inflation, supply chain shortages, and product recalls led to shortage of baby formula around America. This situation left a number of parents in devastation as they are unable to find the right formulas for their babies. So far, three different types of formula have been recalled from the markets after four infants were hospitalized. Those products include Similac, Alimentum, and EleCare powdered infant formulas that were produced at Abbott Nutrition’s Sturgis, Michigan facility.

Kayzie Weedman is just one of the many moms whose babies are formula fed. She is in a desperate situation because the only formula her daughter could have without getting a severe allergic reaction is nowhere to be found. In order to give an insight into what parents are going through right now, she shared a TikTok video which has been seen over a million times so far.

“Let’s talk about the formula shortage that is plaguing the US right now, because more people need to know about this. You go to your local Target, your local Walmart, and you think you’re going to get the formula your baby needs? Nope. Shelves are bare. And there are babies who can’t have just any formula that’s on the shelf,” Weedman starts her story.

“I’m going to insert a picture of what my daughter looks like when she has cow’s milk because she has a huge cow’s milk protein allergy. So, what am I going to do when I go to the shelves and can’t get the formula that I need? The pharmacist who fills her prescription formula can’t fill it because they can’t get it — it’s back-ordered six months and I just have to sit there and stare at empty shelves and not know what I’m going to do next.”

“Formula is not available on any of the shelves. They’re empty — nowhere near three hours near me [has it]. Can’t get the formula. What are we going to do? Where do we go from here? How do formula moms feed their kids?” she says while sharing a photo of her baby daughter with her face covered in rash.

A number of other moms posted comments saying they were in the same situation.

Speaking to BuzzFeed, Weedman explained how her daughter is allergic to cow’s milk protein, gluten, soy, and goat’s milk, among the rest. Sadly, most of the formulas, except for those that are not available right now, have most of this in their content.

As much as many people were very supportive and understood this mother’s struggles, there were also those who said she should have breastfed her daughter instead. “I could not breastfeed because of Palmer’s immune system and allergy needs. MY breast milk was slowly killing my baby and if I did not have formula, she would be far worse off,” she said.

I keep seeing men say “heerrrrr derrrr just breast feed” to women speaking about the real baby formula shortage. So let me say this: men, please stop. Stop. Don’t expose how little you understand about this. You just look like a dope. Stop.

Luckily for Weedman, a number of people offered to send her the formula from places where it was available, including Australia.

“The community of mothers around me has been outstanding. The amount of help I have received from complete strangers is something I never imagined. The tribe of mothers out there are special people,” she wrote.

However, as she is just one of the huge number of moms whose children got affected by the formula shortage, this mom wrote: “This formula shortage is very scary and very real. My suggestion is to be on the lookout every time you go to any store that sells formula. Find your formula-feeding friends and band together to look for and purchase formula for each other. I have friends and family from all over looking for her cans every time they go to the store. Help moms out and just grab ONE can. Frenzy buying isn’t helping.”

What was hiding behind the smile of America’s most beloved TV host Johnny Carson?

It was in October 1962 when one of the TV’s best known personalities ever, Johnny Carson, replaced Jack Paar as the host of The Tonight Show, and the rest is history. Carson’s career as host spanned for three decades and he brought pure enjoyment to millions of viewers who were looking forward to each episode.

This incredible television personality, comedian, writer, and producer marked an era. His friendly character and wit were some of the traits people loved him for. His interviews were never ordinary and his guests were some of the most prominent individuals such as stars of the latest Hollywood movies. Carson influenced many other famous hosts among which David Letterman.

However, those who knew him personally would say he was a completely different person from what the audience saw on TV.

From early age, Carson believed his mother favored his sister over him and his brother so their relationship wasn’t the healthiest. Jody Wolcott Carson, Carson’s first wife, once spoke of the relation between her husband and her mother-in-law and said, “I heard stories that she broke a whole set of dishes on the kitchen wall. She was a real force in the family, the real matriarch.” Carson’s lawyer Henry Bushkin published a book about the most beloved TV host and icon “Johnny Carson,“ where he wrote that Carson refused to attend his mom’s funeral and even said, “The wicked witch is dead.”

Bushkin, who was very close to Carson over the years, believed Carson wasn’t really a happy man and said that the host even confessed that on several occasions.

Carson had an interesting views on love and marriage and tied the knot four times. “Married men live longer than single men. But married men are a lot more willing to die,” he used to joke.

In 1991, awful tragedy struck his family; his middle son Richard died. This crushed Carson. He, however, thanked his fans for being there for him during this hard time of his life saying their “very thoughtful and compassionate letters” meant a great deal to him.

According to his close friends, this vibrant host who stole the hearts of millions of people from all around the world was in fact very shy and nothing like what he appeared in front of the camera. “When I’m in front of an audience, well, it’s a different thing. I’m in control,” Carson himself once said. “There’s Carson the performer, and there’s Carson the private individual, and I can separate the two.”

Carson’s second wife, Joanne Copeland, whom he divorced the same year he announced his third marriage, told Larry King, ”Johnny was very shy. He was painfully shy. So when he was — was — and even more than his family, he was very guarded. But he was very funny.”

Despite being described as reserved by many, Bushkin said how Carson was at the same time a very “complex man” who “had a hair trigger on many things. No matter what everyone though of him, one thing is certain; Carson had a heart of gold. His foundation which supports children, education, and health services is one of the largest in the country. During his life, he changed the life of many for the better and continued doing so even after his death in 2005. His foundation had $156 million at the time he left this world.

Carson’s impact on Hollywood is huge. He won six Emmy Awards and earned a place in the Television Academy Hall of Fame.

Teen employee pays for cop’s brownie – Couple try to get him fired

When one Texas teenager felt the urge to pay for the police officer’s dessert, he didn’t expect to be praised for his kind deed, but didn’t expect to be suspended from his job either.

He wanted to do something good for the officer for everything they do for the community and the country, because he believed their commitment and sacrifice are rarely given the appropriate appreciation. But, things took the wrong turn and this young man would probably think twice the next time he decides to show his kindness.

When the officer approached the counter of the 18-year-old Zack Randolph at Great American Cookies, the kind teenager got his wallet out and took $2.75.

“He’s just a really nice guy and on top of that he has a badge,” he said. “That’s enough for me to buy him something. That’s the least I can do.”

Then the next customers, a man and a woman, approached the counter and that’s when Randolph’s troubles started. They witnessed what he did for the officer and asked for a free dessert themselves. They were pretty angry because they thought they should be given it for free too.

According to Randolph’s mom, the man even threatened to beat her son up and said how he’d make sure for Randolph to lose his job.

“He put his daughter down and came around to the side and was about to come back and come at me and thankfully my assistant manager and my co-worker stopped him.”

To their surprise, Randolph got suspended for a week only because he decided to show kindness. Both he and his mom were devastated.

His mom Tami believed that his son has been done injustice so she posted about the whole incident on Facebook. Many people stood for Randolph and demanded justice.

Once they realized they were so wrong, the company issued an apology and the teen was brought back to work the next day.

“A lot of people I know my age don’t support police officers. I don’t think it’s fair,” said Randolph.

We are very sorry for everything young Zack had to go through only because he is a kind and well behaved young man. We hope this incident won’t stop him from doing good in the future. As for the man and woman who accused him of being racist and got him in trouble, it’s sad to know there are so cruel and selfish people out there.

Man Facebook post goes viral after an elderly customer unexpectedly passed him a note

A North Carolina man shared his story on Facebook after receiving an unexpected note from an older gentleman in a packed restaurant. Although the old man couldn’t speak, he sure knew how to get someone’s attention

The Facebook post has since gone viral, being shared thousands of times on social media. Read it below.

“Today I went to Lane’s Ferry Grill to eat lunch. Great staff and food. I needed a real bacon cheeseburger. Place was packed. Now the rest of the story…

As I sat alone with one seat open an elderly gentleman caught my attention and pointed to the chair and motioned if he could sit down. I replied sure. He was filling out his order sheet and one of the staff came to say to me that the gentleman communicated by passing notes because he couldn’t hear or speak well. They asked if he could sit there. I responded we had already worked that out.

As we sat and passed notes, we filled up both sides of his paper, I only wondered the things he had seen. Well he met JFK, in the ’40s he went to Arizona and it was 120 degrees. Yes, we wrote about the weather. What a great lunch!

I tell this story that may seem insignificant, only to share just how significant it was. As I sat there I wondered if and hoped that I was making a better day for this 93 year young gentleman.

But then it hit me and it gave cause to write my final note to him which said, “Sir I want to thank you for sharing lunch with me. I must go now but I want you to know that you made my day a better day. Take care of yourself.” You should of seen his eyes and smile as he read it. He embraced his heart and gave me a handshake that was real. We hugged and took a picture.
This story is not about what I did but about what we all can do. With a little time, a lot of compassion and not being about “me” and “I’” so much, we could help make and be in a better place. Passing notes with this gentleman was priceless.”

With all the negative, divisive stories in the media, it’s great to see a beautiful story of compassion between two strangers.

Serviceman allowed to fly home to see his newborn baby – His 2-year-old son sees him showing up at the door

Videos of military men and women reuniting with their loved ones after long months of deployment are the most heartwarming ones. They show the sacrifice these people make for the well-being of their people and the safety of their country.

National Guard sergeant John Foreth was deployed to the Middle East and was unable to see his family for a very long time. When the time came for his baby daughter to be born, he wasn’t allowed to travel back home so he watched the delivery on camera. Luckily, just a day after, Foreth was granted a temporary leave and he was quick to get on board and fly back home to meet his bundle of joy.

Once in America, this father of two headed straight to the hospital. When his wife saw him entering the room, she was overwhelmed with emotions and was very happy to see him. Foreth couldn’t hide his tears of joy.

As he was holding the baby in his arms, his 2-year-old son entered the room. The little one’s reaction warmed thousands of hearts. At first, he starred at his dad in confusion and then ran towards him and jumped right in his arms.

The boy clearly missed his daddy.

Owner tearfully reunites with his stolen dog two days before he was scheduled to be euthanized!

I can’t even imagine the pain a man named Barry Gearhart experienced after his beloved Pit Bull Titan was stolen a year ago. He was looking for his pet everywhere, but to no avail.

In the meantime, animal control officers came across a sad looking Pit Bull and took him to a shelter. Everyone was aware that the senior dog had little chance of getting adopted, but they gave the idea a try. After some time, a family decided to give the dog that the shelter named Hank a home. Sadly, Hank didn’t turn out to be the pet they were looking for despite the shelter staff provided behavioral and socialization training for him. He wasn’t playful, so they decided to take him back to the shelter. There, Hank was labeled a “failure.”

Mere days before Hank was about to be euthanized, one of the shelter employees stumbled upon a photo shared by Barry begging for help for his dog to be found. The dog on the photo, Titan, resembled Hank a lot. Was it possible for it to be the same dog? The employee decided to check that out and contacted Barry who rushed to the shelter as soon as he could.

It took seconds for Barry to recognize his dog. Hank, or Titan, showed emotions for the first time since he got to the shelter. The dog was as excited as Barry and their reunion was one of the most touching we’ve ever seen.

The shelter staff couldn’t believe how a dog that was sad and deprived could turn into a vibrant one in just seconds after reuniting with his owner.

Thankfully, Barry and Titan are now together.
