Sinéad O’Connor, acclaimed and controversial Irish singer of ‘Nothing Compares 2 U,’ dead at 56

Sinéad O’Connor, Irish singer and activist, has died at the age of 56. O’Connor rose to worldwide fame with her single Nothing Compares 2 U, released in 1990.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinéad,” her family said in a statement to The Irish Times. “Her family and friends are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.”

Born in Dublin on December 8, 1966, O’Connor’s upbringing wasn’t an easy one. With a mother who was physically abusive, the singer spent a lifetime being an advocate and raising her voice against children abuse, not wanting a singe child to experience an ordeal similar to what she was forced to endure.

O’Connor realized that she had a gift for music at the age of 15, which was also the period of her life when she was placed in an asylum for shoplifting and truancy issues.

Five years later, at the age of 20, she recorded her first album, The Lion and the Cobra, which earned her a Grammy nomination.

The album was highly praised, placing O’Connor on the pedestal, where she remained most of her life which was filled with troubles and controversies. Slant Magazine and Pitchfork both listed it as one of the best albums of the 1980s. “One of the most electrifying debuts in rock history” Slant wrote. “Themes of patriotism, sexuality, Catholicism, and social oppression set the stage for a career marked by a resolute sense of independence,” Pitchfork’s critics said of the album.

Having her head shaved, O’Connor sometimes experienced criticism simply because she didn’t fit the standards of what a woman should look like but it was an assertion against traditional views of women according to the singer herself.

O’Connor released her second album, I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got, in 1990. The album included her cover of Prince’s Nothing Compares 2 U, her most famous and highest-charting recording.

The controversies surrounding her life started during the time there were rumors of the Catholic Church’s cover-up of sexual abuse cases followed by protests. During an appearance on Saturday Night Live, O’Connor expressed her thoughts over the entire situation in quite a controversial manner, by tearing a photo of Pope John Paul II while singing Bob Marley’s War, telling the audience to “fight the real enemy.”

Her action affected her career, but the singer said she had no regrets. “Everyone wants a pop star, see? But I am a protest singer. I just had stuff to get off my chest. I had no desire for fame,” she wrote in her 2021 memoir Rememberings.

In 2018, O’Connor converted to Islam after practicing Christianity her entire life and even being ordained as a priest in the Irish Orthodox Catholic and Apostolic Church. She then changed her name to Shuhada’ Davitt.

Over the years, she struggled with mental health issues and even tried to take her own life when she was 33, as she told Oprah. O’Connor was diagnosed with complex post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder.

18 months before her passing, O’Connor lost her son to suicide. Shane was 17 years old when he took his own life leaving his mother desperate and mourning his tragic loss.

“There will never be anything to sing about again,” she said following his passing, canceling her tour and postponing her new album.

Taoiseach (Irish PM) Leo Varadkar said her music “was loved around the world and her talent was unmatched”.

Irish President Michael D Higgins praised O’Connor’s “authenticity” as well as her “beautiful, unique voice”.

“What Ireland has lost at such a relatively young age is one of our greatest and most gifted composers, songwriters and performers of recent decades, one who had a unique talent and extraordinary connection with her audience, all of whom held such love and warmth for her,” he said.

O’Connor expressed heartache over her son’s passing just days before she died.

The exact cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Final days of ‘Golden Girl’ Estelle Getty’s life – she struggled with a disease

The oldest of the Golden Girls, Sophia Petrillo, was played by actress Estelle Getty who found fame in film later in life after establishing a successful Broadway career.

In 1982, Getty had her big break when she was cast in the Broadway show The Torch Song. In the years that followed, she portrayed the major role of Mrs. Beckhoff on and off Broadway.

When she auditioned for the role in Golden Girls, Getty was so determined to get it that she made sure she looked older than she really was. Rumors are that she even had the famous straw purse which made through the seven seasons with her. In fact, Sophia, Getty’s character, was a year younger than Beatrice Arthur, who played Sophia’s daughter, Dorothy.

With her white curls, huge glasses, floral house dresses, and cardigan sweaters, Sophia became a much loved character who made millions laugh. Even today, years after Getty’s passing, her character brings joy and laughter in many people’s lives through the series’ re-runs.

Golden Girls ran for seven seasons, Getty then reprised her role in Golden Palace, a one-season 1992 show, and later in Empty Nest.

Getty was the first one of the cast of the legendary series to pass away. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia, a progressive brain condition that is commonly confused with Alzheimer’s. This caused her difficulties memorizing her lines.

Her co-stars shared that Getty would ask for cue cards and would experience panic episodes.

“She had an awful time remembering lines because she would freeze, she panicked. She would start getting under a dark cloud the day before tape day. You could see a big difference in her on that day. By tape day, she was unreachable. She was just as uptight as a human being can get,” Rue McClanahan, who died of stroke in 2010, said back in the day. “Finally, she asked for cue cards, which appalled us all, and at first the producers refused to stoop to such an unprofessional thing. But eventually, she had to be given cue cards for those deliciously funny Sophia stories.”

Getty died quietly in her sleep in 2008, at the age of 84.

According to her son, Carl Gettleman, Getty’s co-stars didn’t attend her funeral. Shortly after his mom’s passing, Carl told Inside Edition that he was disappointed Bea Arthur, Betty White and Rue McClanahan skipped the service.

“They would certainly have been welcome. I don’t know why they wouldn’t be attending mom’s funeral. Maybe it’s a painful thing,” he said. “If it was someone I’d been tight with like that and worked with all those years I’d have been there.”

Bronny James has been hospitalized after suffering cardiac arrest

Bronny, the 18-year-old son of basketball legend LeBron James, suffered cardiac arrest during a basketball workout at the University of Southern California (USC) on Monday, TMZ reported.

According to a statement from Bronny’s family spokesperson, he’s out of the intensive care unit and in stable condition.

“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU,” the statement said.

“We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information.

“LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

According to reports, the 911 call was made around 9:30 the morning of July 24 after which Bronny, who was unconscious, was rushed via ambulance to the nearest hospital.

Sports figures from all over the country, as well as the world, sent their messages of support and wished the young star a complete recovery.

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who suffered cardiac arrest during an NFL game last season and who has since been active in advocating for AED training and awareness which potentially saved his life, tweeted his support: “Prayers to Bronny & The James Family as well (prayer emoji) here for you guys just like you have been for me my entire process.”

Inside Tony Bennett’s New York apartment where he spent his last few years – he was in good spirits

Tony Bennett, a music legend in his own right, spent the last couple of years of his life in his splendid Manhattan apartment. The New York-born star passed away at the age of 96 on July 21, 2023. During the final years of his life, he battled Alzheimer.

Bennett’s career, which spanned decades, started in the most unexpected way. He possessed incredible voice and a singing talent that he was able to show to the guests of an Italian restaurant located in his neighborhood where he worked as a waiter. Young Bennett would serve the customers while singing to them. “I loved that time of my life, and I honestly feel that, if I hadn’t made it professionally, I would be perfectly happy going back to being a singing waiter,” Bennett shared with The San Diego Union-Tribune.

After he learned that entertaining audiences was his calling, Bennett started studying singing at the American Theatre Wing just after his service in the war was over. His singing coach, Mimi Spencer, was probably the person who impacted his career a great deal. She would always say to him not to imitate other singers, but musicians instead.

“That’s the same thing that Billie Holiday said in her book, that she imitated Louis Armstrong. I imitated (jazz pianist) Art Tatum. He held on to the basic melody like a rock, but his chords and sense of accompaniment were astounding.”

During his career of many years, Bennett released 60 studio albums, 11 live albums, and sold 50 million records worldwide. He has a huge number of hits which brought him numerous awards, but one song in particular, I Left My Heart in San Francisco, is what defined his singing career.

Bennett was diagnosed with Alzheimer in 2016 with his wife Susan Benedetto being his primary caregiver. Speaking of his diagnosis and how he accepted it, Susan once shared a conversation she had with her husband. “He would ask me, ‘What is Alzheimer’s?’ I would explain, but he wouldn’t get it. He’d tell me, ‘Susan, I feel fine.’ That’s all he could process, physically felt great.”

Bennett’s residence was located in a high-rise building overlooking Central Park, on the 15th floor. It consisted of three bedrooms, a large kitchen where Bennett spent time cooking featuring oak cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a massive dinner table and plenty of counter space. The place included a decked-out entertainment room, home office, bathrooms, and more.

The giant windows of his apartment allowed him to enjoy the incredible skyline from the comfort of his home.

One of the bedrooms was converted into a studio where the Grammy-award singer kept his sketches adorned on the walls. Besides being a musician, Bennett was also a passionate painter in love with creative work.

The living space, which felt inviting, featured soft yellow walls, hardwood floors and an Italy-inspired interior design along with a black grand piano which Bennett was known to play for hours on end.

Bennett and his third wife met when he was in his 60s and she was in her 20s, but the age difference of 40 years didn’t stop them from starting a relationship.

Tony Bennett was truly a legend. The music scene will miss him and his voice. May he rest in peace.

Harry & Meghan snub Prince George for his 10th birthday – why his birth was the beginning of the end for Harry & William

July 22 marked the 10th birthday of Prince George, the future king of Britain. However, although it may take many, many years before the young Prince is crowned, his parents make sure he, as well as his siblings, know just how important their roles will be in the days to come.

Although they are royalty, the lives of George, Charlotte, and Louis are as normal as they could be all thanks to William and Kate who teach them how to be hard-working, hang out with friends, and appreciate the fact that whether they love it or not they are privileged.

At the moment, the three siblings attend the prestigious Lambrook school where they learn how to take care of animals, get involved in a number of sports, and attend lessons.

According to royal expert Jennie Bond, “[Prince William and Princess Kate] want George, Charlotte, and Louis to be very aware of the privileged way in which they are growing up. Have a proper sense of empathy, charity, and responsibility,” as per OK! Magazine.

“It’s very much the Diana style of parenting. They want them to know how lucky they are and not take any of it for granted.”

Now when it comes to George’s birthday, just like any royal birthday, his was a pretty much secretive.

“They’ve always been intensely secretive and private about his birthday,” royal commentator Duncan Larcombe told Fox. “They’ve never released anything… in terms of a birthday party, and what they do is shrouded in secrecy.”

“We are starting to see [George] a lot more in public these days, but they’re still very keen on keeping him private property rather than public property,” he added.

“His parents have been incredibly hands-on, and they’ve followed a very similar upbringing Kate would have had with two siblings, a close-knit family. They’re focusing very much on the value of the family. They’ve built quite a unique family unit.”

Besides all the chefs who work at the Palace, it is Kate who always makes her children’s birthday cakes. “I love making the cake,” Kate revealed on A Berry Royal Christmas in 2019. “It’s become a bit of a tradition that I stay up ’til midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and icing, and I make far too much. But I love it.”

As the tradition goes, a new photo of George was posted by the Palace. This time, however, the photo wasn’t taken by Kate as usual but by Millie Pilkington, who also took George’s photo on his fifth birthday.

Among those who presented Prince George with a birthday gift is Julia Samuel, one of Princess Diana’s closest friends. She always tends to keep one of Diana’s traditions alive and that’s buying “impossible toys” which take days to assemble. “I do to George what [Diana] did to us, which is give impossible toys that are really noisy and take a lot of making,” Julia Samuel said. “William then has to spend days putting together. And then put all the machinery together, and it makes awful tooting noises and lights flashing and all of that.”

Samuel added that William struggled for days, which brought the rest of the family great pleasure, especially “cheeky” George.

“[It] makes [her] laugh, and it makes George laugh,” Julia added, saying that George is one “amazing” boy. Speaking of the young Prince, Samuel said “He’s funny and feisty and cheeky, and God [Diana] would have loved him so much.”

As expected, the number of cards and birthday wishes George received was huge.

What many couldn’t help but notice is that Harry and Meghan didn’t wish George a happy birthday publicly, although it’s not certain whether they sent their congratulations privately on Saturday.

Fans of the royals argued that the Sussexes should have wished George a happy birthday through the social media, but at the same time, they agreed that no royal has posted any birthday messages to Harry and Meghan’s children, Archie and Lilibet, in the last few years. 

In his all-tell memoir Spare, Harry wrote of the joy he felt when George was born. However, he wasn’t invited to spend as much time as he wanted and expected around him. “I took it for granted that I would be invited to their house at any moment. But the days went by, and it didn’t happen,” Harry wrote in Spare. “I understand, I thought. They’re busy! Building a family! Or maybe… three’s a crowd. Maybe if I get married things will change.”

People weren’t happy with Harry involving his nephew in whatever issues he and William faced and according to the Daily Express’s royal expert Angela Epstein, Harry might have “overlooked the damage he could do” to George.

“So given the way tragedy arced his young life, surely Harry’s concern for his own nephew, George, would be a matter of auto-fill. As the doting and fun-loving uncle, Harry has always displayed affection for his brother’s three young children,” Epstein said.

“So the possibility that George, as second in line to the throne, could be harmed in any way by the Duke’s rage against the monarchy should surely be a concern to him.”

Military wife called for help when her husband was gone – Then she saw this written on the bill

When you think about it you realize that no matter what we do, we can never say enough “thank you” to the men and women in the military who sacrifice it all for our country. Not only they put their life on the line, but leave their family and friends behind. 

Being away from home has to be hard both for those who are departed and those who stay home and wait for their loved ones to get back safe and sound. 

Bridget Stevens knows all to well what it feels like to be a military wife. 

Although this woman’s story takes place during a harsh Pennsylvanian winter, it will still warm your heart. 

One day, Bridget found herself in trouble. It was very cold outside and the heating in the house stopped working. She didn’t have any extra money to spend, but she had to contact Betlyn’s Heating and Cooling to fix the problem, otherwise, her children could freeze. 

They gave her some instruction on how to try and fix it herself, but once they realized the problem was more serious the owner, Paul told Bridget he was on his way to her place to trace and fix the problem.

Once he arrived, Bridget told him how her husband is the one doing the repairments around the house, but this time he wasn’t there to take care of the problem. He was deployed and Bridget was left to look after the house and their kids all by herself.

Paul did an excellent job of fixing the issue and handed Bridget the bill. She took it and was in anticipation to see how much this would cost her, when she read something that left her overwhelmed. 

The bill read, “No heat evening call. Deployment discount $1.00.”

It was Paul’s way of thanking her husband for his service in the military. 

Bridget was moved by the whole experience so she decided to share it on her Facebook page.

“This is a bit lengthy, but I just want to take a minute to acknowledge Betlyn Heating and Cooling. I came home with the boys to a cold house that was 50 degrees. When turning up the thermostat was not kicking the furnace on, I called Betlyn’s, thinking I’d get a machine and have to leave a message, then run to the store for space heaters.

Ultimately, Paul, the owner, answered and was very patient as he walked me through different things to do to try to get it back on. When none of that worked, he said he needed to come to the house to fix it.

As he was working on the furnace, we got to talking about Bobby and the deployment. I had mentioned in passing that I tried to figure it out with my husband, but since he’s deployed and couldn’t see it, he wouldn’t know what to do.

After he was finished, I was a little apprehensive about how much it was going to cost. He handed me the slip that is in this photo. When I tried to give him any money at all, he said that the $1 was a joke, and to thank my husband for his service.

So, thanks Paul Betlyn. My house is nice and warm thanks to you.”

We are thankful that Paul knew how to appreciate the sacrifice of a fellow citizen who was in the military. We should always do our best to help the families of our heroes and that way repay for what they do for all of us.

After dog gets hit by car, brutal sign has entire neighborhood talking

From using a mobile phone while driving, to drunk driving, speeding, and disrespecting the rules, there are people out there whose careless driving puts others in danger. Sadly, these drivers are likely to cause accidents in which there are victims.

One family had it enough of reckless driving and speeding through their neighborhood after their family dog was killed that they decided to set up a huge sign in their lawn that had the entire neighborhood talking especially because many found it as a threat.

”We buried our dog last week because you won’t slow down,” the sign read. “If you hit 1 of my kids your family may be burying you.”

The photo of the sign was first posted on Reddit but was soon shared on other social media sites such as Facebook.

In a matter of days, the post attracted the attention of many and sparked a debate about whether the late dog owners were right placing the controversial sign.

”I never understand why people speed through neighborhoods…or parking lots. Seriously…what’s the logic in that?” one user commented. ”Love the sign. People drive way too fast in neighborhoods. More than 20 is to fast. Kids on bikes. Kids playing in their own yard and a ball goes in the street, it happens. So why is there this problem. Well it’s because people are f**king idiots. Plain and simple,” another user added.

”Damn straight! One of my dogs got away from me and the woman who ran over him didn’t even slow down. Just ran over him. Same could happen to a child,” a third commented.

There were also those who condemned the people who posted the sign saying they should have taken better care of their dog. Since it was hit by a car, they assumed the owners let it roam freely instead of keeping it on a leash.

”I don’t feel sorry for them one bit. Have the same problem in my neighborhood. Everyone thinks it is free range country for dogs and cats. My dogs do not leave my property without my permission,” one reader wrote.

”Keep your dog on a leash! If you cared about your fur friend you would take better care of them,” said another.

”Speeding is bad, but your dog and kids are your responsibility to keep them out of the street,” yet another added.

Boy gets into trouble for doodling during lesson time – hired by restaurant to create wall art

All those standardized tests students are forced to take limit their creativity, and a very talented boy named Joe Whale experienced that first hand.

Namely, Joe loves doodling and he’s extremely good at it. During lesson time when he wasn’t in the mood of listening to his teachers he would draw in his notebook and that put him in trouble numerous times. When his school teachers told Joe’s parents that he was obsessed with doodling, instead of telling him off, his mom and dad decided to help him become even better at what he loved doing so they sent him to an after-school art class.

Joe was given the chance to nurture his talent and promised to pay more attention during lesson time at school now that he found a place where he could express himself.

His art teacher, Kerry, was impressed with Joe’s incredible work. “I asked his parents for some of his work to assess his level and could not believe what I was looking at, we moved him into an older class straight away,” she told Metro Newspaper.

“His work is very exact and immaculate, it’s very balanced, he goes straight to ink and creates perfect work straight from the start, no practicing beforehand.”

Kerry decided to share photos of Joe’s work on Instagram and then something incredible happened. The owner of the local restaurant ‘Number 4’ contacted Kerry and asked if Joe wanted to decorate the restaurant dining room with his drawings.

Kerry called Joe’s parents and they were more than happy to accept the offer.

“Joe is a really talented little boy, he’s excelling at school, he’s a great footballer and cricketer, but drawing is definitely what he is most passionate about,” his proud dad told Metro.

“He was in school getting frustrated at the little amount of art he could do so he used to doodle on the table’s whiteboard in class and get into trouble for doodling.

“We’re so proud of everything he’s achieving, the fact that a completely independent business has asked our nine-year old son to do a professional piece of work for them is incredible.”

Girl began placing strange objects on her father’s head – then suddenly…

Love is the moving power that makes this world go round, and out of all forms of love, that between a father and a daughter is one of the purest and strongest.

The following situation depicts this love the best.

A dad was fishing together with his young daughter, but the girl wasn’t that interested in the fish. However, that didn’t prevent her from finding another form of fun, and that’s placing strange looking things on her dad’s head. Many said they believe what she put on his hair was a bunch of burdrock, a sticky plant that children delight in.

In a matter of minutes, the dad’s entire head was covered in burdrock burs.

It seems like he didn’t get mad at all as soon as it made his girl happy and laughing.

Father-daughter love truly is unmatched.

Masked teen attempting to rob a 67-year-old man pays the ultimate price

Tyler Williams, a young man of West Philadelphia, lost his life after an elderly man he tried to rob fought back.

Namely, when Tyler spotted the 67-year-old man, he approached him in an attempt to steal his money. In order to frighten the elderly man, Tyler pulled out a pallet gun and pointed it towards his victim. The man, however, was able to deflect the toy gun from his face and pulled out his .38 caliber handgun, killing young Tyler at the scene.

Afterwards, the man called the police, but they just pronounced Tyler dead.

The man had no idea that Tyler’s gun was a toy. He was scared for his life and killed the young man in self-defense which is why no charges were made against the elderly man.

Although pellet guns aren’t lethal towards humans, they can be if shot from a close range.

We are so very sorry for the loss of such a young man.

Tyler, who was 18 years old, had no prior criminal history.

Trolls sent her hateful messages after she revealed her pregnancy – then she shares what she went through

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!

The truth is that this is easier said than done, but a woman named Jessica Quinn learned how to make lemonade with the lemons life gave her and she’s now living her life to the fullest besides the ordeal she was forced to go through as a child and all the stares and hurtful comment she has received over the years.

When she was just eight years old, this now 30-year-old mom-to-be was a very energetic and athletic child. But that was until she tried to show off her skills and stood on a soccer ball after which she fall down and broke her femur.

“I was outside playing with my sister, and I decided to stand on a soccer ball just trying to balance and show off a little bit, but I fell off and snapped my femur bone.” She continued, “I got rushed into hospital and they did surgery and tried to heal the break. They spent about three or four months trying to heal the bone, like they normally would, without realizing why it had broken in the first place.”

Following a surgery and a number of other treatments, the bone wouldn’t heal even after four months, leaving Jessica in excruciating pain. Puzzled, doctors ran additional tests and that’s when they discovered she had osteosarcoma, a bone cancer that often develops in the cells that form bones.

Jessica was immediately treated with intensive chemotherapy, side effects that included her weight dropping down to a dangerous 18 kilograms.

“It was just the only way to really get rid of everything and save my life.” Jessica continues, “But there were a few things at play. Because I’d broken my leg, it was complicated by the risk of the cancer being spread. They had also tried to fix the leg by putting rods up my femur bone, so having a bone replacement or anything like that was just not really an option. The goal was simply to save my life.”

Doctors presented the family with two options.

 One was “a full hip disarticulation,” that she describes as an amputation high in her hip socket.

“But that kind of gives you nothing to attach your prosthetic to, so you don’t have a knee joint, and I was a really active kid, and I was only a kid, so I wanted to live as normal a life as possible.”

The second option was a groundbreaking surgery and the first of that kind to ever be performed in New Zealand.

It was rotationplasty, a surgery that removes the middle part of a leg, that is then rotated 180 degrees and reattached to the thigh, allowing the ankle to serve as the knee joint and her calf as her thigh.

“I was the first person in New Zealand to successfully undergo this kind of amputation,” Jessica said.

Over time, Jessica learned how to live her life to the fullest and accepted herself the way she is. She regained her self-confidence and became inspiration to millions. Today, she’s an athlete, a model, and an influencer with almost one million TikTok followers.

“I wanted to tackle this cookie cutter mould of the perfect body portrayed in the media. My dream was to see people like myself with real bodies represented,” she shared with the New Zealand Herald.

In a popular video she shared, Jessica answered the question, “Do you hide your insecurities?” “8-year-old me: hide your prosthetic leg so no one stares. 29-year-old me: no!” she captioned the video showing her puling down her shorts to hide her prosthetic at first and then proudly posing and showing it to the world to see.

This proud woman even took part in Dancing With the Stars and raised $55,000 for New Zealand’s Child Cancer Foundation.

“Walking is hard for me, let alone dancing. That was the furthest I’ve ever pushed myself outside my comfort zone.” She continued, “Seeing the effect my message has had on all these kids who ask me to have photos with them is an awesome feeling.”

Recently, she posted about her life and everything she has gone through. Her post was seen by over 1 million people. “21 years ago today I was wheeled into a 14 hour amputation that would hopefully save my life. After a lengthy cancer battle my unique surgery (see my other videos) was done as a last option to survive. I wish I could go back and tell younger me the life I’d go on to live, what a 21 years it has been. Here’s to many more,” she wrote.

However, no matter how much she inspires many, there are also those who post negative comments.

Posting a video of her pregnant belly, she addressed the mean commenters who wrote  “I would like to see which man was this level of brave plz” and “who the hell pregnanted her.”

Jessica responded, “I HONESTLY do not get down about comments like this. I truly am proud of the body I live in. I know everything I went through to get to this point and it’s all an incredible miracle in my eyes.” She continued, “I also love the community I have built, it’s only when my videos go viral and are shared with people who haven’t followed my story that these comments appear and that just shows we can’t judge a book by [its] cover.”

Her supporters showed they were by her side and wrote heartfelt messages. I always think how lonely, sad and unfulfilled these faceless internet trolls are to write such things,” and “The fact these comments don’t phase you Jess make you even more of an inspiration to me.”

Emergency services rush to help Brigitte Bardot after a call informing that her health had taken a turn

The name Brigitte Bardot is and will always be related to ultimate beauty. Being 88 years old, Bardot is still considered an icon.

From the moment she first appeared on the cover of Elle Magazine as a 15-year-old model, Bardot stole the hearts of millions and was quickly dubbed a sex symbol in her native France. It didn’t take long before she reached for the stars and found her place in Hollywood.

Bardot appeared on screen for the first time as Javotte Lemoine in Crazy for Love in 1952 and made her first American production in Act of Love with Kirk Douglas in 1953. But it wasn’t until she landed a role in the 1956 film And God Created Women that she created her famous ‘sex kitten’ persona. The film was considered controversial in America, but it helped Bardot redefine the image of the modern woman.

“I’m a girl from a good family who was very well brought up. One day I turned my back on it all and became a bohemian,” she once said.

Bardot retired from acting at the age of 39, while still being a major star. This decision confused many, but she had her reasons.

“The majority of great actresses met tragic ends. When I said goodbye to this job, to this life of opulence and glitter, images and adoration, the quest to be desired, I was saving my life,” Bardot told The Guardian.

“In the beginning, I enjoyed having people talking about me, but very quickly, it suffocated and destroyed me. Throughout my 20 years starring in movies, each time filming began, I would break out with herpes.”

Sadly, the former model and actress experienced health issues recently. Her husband, Bernard d’Ormale, spoke to the media and confirmed the health scare Bardot suffered.

“It was around 9 a.m. when Brigitte had trouble breathing,” d’Ormale said. “It was harder than usual but she didn’t lose consciousness. Let’s call it a moment of respiratory distraction.”

He explained, “The firefighters arrived, gave her oxygen to breathe and stayed for a moment to watch her.” 

The reason why Bardot felt unwell was the heat. “Like all people of a certain age, she can no longer bear the heat,” her husband said. “It happens at 88, she must not make unnecessary efforts,” he continued. “Her pulse is fine, her heart too and her blood pressure is good, but things remain fragile.”

He added that the air-conditioning in their home isn’t strong enough.

We truly hope Brigitte won’t be experiencing any health struggles in the future.

Kate Middleton shares naughty moment with William in public – expert says it’s a good sign

On Wednesday, July 5, the King and Queen of Britain were symbolically crowned for the second time in Scotland.

The ceremony took place at St. Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh and the king was presented with the Honors of Scotland – the crown, scepter, and the sword of state – which he received during the service. This ceremony is often referred to as to “a second coronation” and is not an official coronation in its own right but a symbolic event.

King Charles was presented with the legendary Crown of Scotland, which is one of Europe’s oldest surviving crowns and the oldest in Britain, having been made by Scotland’s royal goldsmith, John Mosman, in 1540. This crown was made for James V, who wore it at the coronation of Queen Mary of Guise in 1540, but was first used for an actual coronation when Mary Queen of Scots was crowned.

“By the symbol of this crown, we pledge our loyalty, entrusting you to reign as our king in the service of all your people,” Alexander Douglas-Hamilton, the Duke of Hamilton and Brandon and Scotland’s most senior peer, said as he presented Charles with the crown on a cushion.

As expected, the Prince and Princess of Wales were in attendance and Kate Middleton was highly praised for the choice of outfit. She wore stunning electric blue woollen ensemble by Catherine Walker & Co, but most of all, the praise was because she re-wore the item, which many believe should become a trend other royals as well as celebrities should follow.

Kate first wore the item at the annual Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey last year, but as reported by Newsweek, she and her stylists had updated the piece by “accessorizing the look with a beret style asymmetrical hat, featuring a sculpted element echoing a feather.”

Miranda Holder, celebrity stylist and royal fashion expert, told Newsweek that “Kate stunned in patriotic Scottish blue at the Coronation today, but while the vivid color of her Catherine Walker ensemble made her stand out from the crowd, it was actually an understated choice, being a repeat item she had worn before.” Holder added that the coat-dress was fitting considering Kate MIddleton and Prince William’s consciousness towards the environment.

“Kate is conscious of sustainability in fashion, and is of course a keen advocate of her husband’s Earthshot cause,” she said, “as well as striking a careful balance between looking elegant and ‘royal’ whilst not being too ostentatious or ‘showy’ in today’s economically-challenged climate.”

When Kate and William, who are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, traveled back to Charles’ official Scottish residence in the procession, Kate was seen doing a ‘naughty’ gesture; a little bum pat.

“The King and Queen are more like a ventriloquist act, both muttering asides to the other in a way that doesn’t look like real conversation, but the ability to mutter may feel comforting for them both at events like this,” body language expert Judi James told the Mirror about the difference between how William and Kate communicate with each other and how Charles and Camilla communicate.

“Kate even did her now signature bum-pat gesture, and the couple tend to use eye contact and exchange smiles as they speak,” James added.

Kate Middleton has been seen doing her bum-pat gesture before, to be more precise on the red carpet for the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) when she and William shared another cheeky moment when she patted his royal bottom.

Simon Cowell’s unusual behavior on AGT: Why is the judge not speaking throughout Season 18?

Except for being one of the most influential people in the world of music, Simon Cowell is also one of the strictest judges on one of the most popular music shows, America’s Got Talent.

Had it not been for this man and his reality shows involving discovering music talents, we would have probably never heard of One Direction or Kelly Clarkson.

Simon started his career as a music producer, consultant, and scout during the 80’s, but came to public prominence in 2001 as a judge on Pop Idol. The show was a huge success, so Simon went a step further and created The X Factor and Got Talent franchises which are extremely popular in a huge number of countries throughout the world.

What is typical about Simon is that he always speaks his mind and is harsh with the contestants. He’s direct and many believe he’s even heartless, but he’s just doing his job. This is the reason why fans got really concerned for him recently. Namely, Simon didn’t seem to be his old self because he stood almost completely silent during the tryouts of season 18 of AGT.

The reason for this wasn’t lack of interest but rather a health issues the judge experienced.

Speaking with the USA Today, he explained, “I think what happened was that the acid from my stomach literally burned my vocal cords. So, this doctor came over and put a camera up my nose and down my throat, and I could see how badly burned they were.

“There was so much I wanted to say about auditions that I literally couldn’t talk,” he continued. “We attempted to write things. At one point, I utilized an iPad tablet to store things I’d previously spoken about. I attempted to utilize Sofa to interpret for me, and she purposefully stated the incorrect stuff. So it was just mayhem.”

However, being unable to speak opened a new perspective for Simon. “I had to sit there and not say anything for about seven days, so all I could do was listen to the other judges,” he said. “And it was very interesting because they’ve all gained enough confidence to have their preferences now. As a result, we probably disagreed more this year, but in a good manner. Because of the range of acts, you can’t be an expert on everything when judging this show.”

Sadly, this isn’t the first time that Simon goes through an ordeal when it comes to his health. In the past, he suffered two accidents. First, he fell off the stairs and then he injured his back severely following an electric scooter accident.

Following the scare which left him injured and forced him to undergo back surgery, the musician and producer tried to warn others of the dangers of electric bikes. “The one I had was basically a motorcycle with an electric engine when you have to wear a proper crash helmet, leathers. This thing was nuts,” he said. “I didn’t know how powerful it was before I got on it. And I fly 6-8 feet in the air and landed on my spine.”

This, however, doesn’t prevent him from using an electric bike again. “I’m still going to stay on my bike, I’m obsessed with these things,” he stated, much to his co-stars’ delight.

Miranda Lambert calls out fans during concert – and people are not impressed

Capturing precious moments on our phone lets us cherish them forever, but isn’t it better to just enjoy the moment and leave the technology aside, at least for a while? Well, singer Miranda Lambert obviously believes that her fans should fully enjoy her singing.

During a recent performance in Las Vegas where she currently has her residency, Miranda began performing her hit song Tin Man but she stopped after a few tunes in order to address some girls at the audience, which sparked mixed reactions.

Namely, a group of girls were taking selfies while sang and she expressed her frustration over their action. “I’m gonna stop right here for a second… These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song. It’s p***ing me off a little bit,” she said as she pointed to the crowd.

A number of attendees cheered the singer who went on to say,  “I don’t like it, at all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight; I’m singing some country damn music.” She then told the group to sit as she started the song all over again.

However, there were those who disagreed with Miranda and left the show as a sign of protest, and the opinions of the online community has been divided.

One of the fans filmed the incident and posted it online. As expected, comments came pouring in with some supporting Miranda and other saying she didn’t treat her fans the way she should have.

“I love Miranda, but what?” one person wrote.

Another used said, “I mean give the artists you paid tickets for your undivided attention… you don’t need to record everything. EMBRACE IT.”

Most of the comments criticized the country singer saying that since fans had paid for tickets, they should be allowed to capture moments and react to the performance they way they feel like reacting.

Yeah I would’ve left, f*** that,” one person wrote. “They paid to be there. If you don’t want pictures then don’t allow phones. That’s ridiculous.”

Another person suggested: “I’ve seen tons of people record their reactions to hearing their favorite song live… I feel like they were just excited, that’s so uncalled for.”

A further comment read: “And that’s when I’d have walked out.”

Country singer Jason Aldean faces immense backlash for new song and music video – now he is responding back

August 16, 2011 - Athens, GA - Jason Aldean. Country artist Colt Ford rounded up his friends to hold a benefit for the family of Elmer "Buddy" Christian.

Try That in a Small Town, the newest song by country singer Jason Aldean, has caused quite a stir on the social media with the singer facing immense backlash. The music video is a combination of a news footage mostly from protests by the movement “Black Lives Matter” and lyrics such as: “Cuss out a cop, spit in his face / Stomp on the flag and light it up / Yeah, ya think you’re tough / Well, try that in a small town / See how far ya make it down the road,” and “Around here, we take care of our own / You cross that line, it won’t take long / For you to find out, I recommend you don’t.” Following the images, the video clip shows with a brief montage of grainy footage depicting peaceful townspeople and their crops and families.

The location where the video was filmed held a historical significance as it was the same where in the 1920s an 18-year-old African-American man named Henry Choate was lynched.

Following the accusations that the song and the lyrics were racist and pro-lynching, CMT pulled the music video but refused to comment on the reasons behind their decision.

The singer defended himself claiming he wasn’t a racist.

“In the past 24 hours I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests,” the country singer said on social media. “These references are not only meritless, but dangerous,” he further added.

The music video in question showed Aldean performing the controversial song in front of Maury County Courthouse in Columbia, Tennessee, with an American flag draped on the entrance.

There were plenty of comments on the social media by people calling Aldean “a racist who writes barely concealed lynching songs” and a “violent bigot,” while Variety dubbed the song was “the most contemptible country song of the decade.”

Aldean claimed his song and the music video never intended to “point to” race. The controversial lyrics were written by Kelley Lovelace, Kurt Allison, Neil Thrasher and Tully Kennedy.

“There is not a single lyric in the song that references race or points to it- and there isn’t a single video clip that isn’t real news footage -and while I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music- this one goes too far,” Aldean said.

He added that Try That in a Small Town merely refers to the “feeling of a community” that he felt growing up. “We took care of our neighbors, regardless of differences of background or belief,” he said.

“My political views have never been something I’ve hidden from, and I know that a lot of us in this country don’t agree on how we get back to a sense of normalcy where we go at least a day without a headline that keeps us up at night,” Aldean clarified.

“But the desire for it to — that’s what this song is about,” he added.

Aldean first came under fire in 2021 when his wife Brittany made a public transphobic comments. Namely, through an Instagram post, she thanked her mom and dad for not changing her gender when she was going through a tomboy stage as a young child.

“Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t too, cause you and I wouldn’t have worked out,” her husband commented on his wife’s video.

Further, Brittany said those parents who allow their children to change gander are “one of the worst evils” and her husband defended her publicly.

The criticism against Aldean comes amid his Jason Aldean’s Highway Desperado tour which started on July 14. On the second day of the tour, his concerts were rescheduled because he was hospitalized due to heatstroke.

Kaley Cuoco narrowly escapes second tragedy after losing dog recently – now she has a warning for others

When a pet comes into the life of a person, they are meant to stay there forever. Pets, either cats, dogs, fish, or any other animal, become a part of the family, and they should be treated as such. However, the sad thing about owning a pet is that they don’t live as long as humans do, and the heartbreak of losing them is immense.

Actress Kaley Cuoco is known as an animal lover who has strong passion for horses and owns several dogs. Sadly, she recently lost her dog Dump Truck and while still grieving for her four-legged pal, her other dog, King, whom she and her husband rescued from an animal shelter while he was still “scrawny, underweight scared and hairless” has undergone through an ordeal but was luckily saved.

Namely, King was feeling unwell for a couple of months and no one knew what was wrong. It looked like he had suffered from a mysterious illness vets weren’t able to detect.

Eventually, they were able to find the root to King’s issues and it appeared that the dog was ill because of a plant known as foxtail plant, a feathery plant commonly found in the Western United States. This plant can move “relentlessly forward, never back, they can migrate from inside your dogs’ nose to its brain.

In an attempt to prevent other dogs from going through what King went through, Cuoco has shared her story with her “dog lovers out there.”

Sharing an image of a wispy foxtail plant resting on her leg, the star of Big Bang Theory wrote: “This is a foxtail. They are extremely dangerous to animals esp dogs .. we spent the last 2 months trying to figure out what was wrong [with] our King.” She continued, “He had been violently ill and nothing was working. Many vet appts, surgery and endless meds. Finally found a specialist who found 2 of these in his body days away from piercing his heart !!” 

According to WedMD, if not removed, the foxtail plant can lead to “serious infection” or death: “The barbed seed heads of the foxtail plant can work their way into any part of your dog or cat, from the nose to between the toes and inside the ears, eyes and mouth. They can even simply dig themselves directly into a patch of skin.”

Later, Cuoco shared a photo of King with stitches on his body and wrote, “He is doing so much better but as u can see he has tons of stitches from a super intense surgery … please be careful. Also please note these must be surgically removed. They do not heal on their own!”

She added: “Take care of your pets or don’t have one! We are so grateful he is ok and will live a long happy life!”

The Flight Attendant star and her partner Tom, who welcomed baby girl Matilda in their lives on March 30, 2023, also own another dog, Miss Opal, whom they adopted from Deity Animal Rescue in early 2023.

Back in 2021, Cuoco lost her dog of 14 years, Norman, who was the inspiration behind her film and TV company, Yes Norman Productions that co-produced her hit HBO show The Flight Attendant.

We hope King would recovery completely. He is one lucky dog for having Kaley Cuoco as his human mommy.

Skin signals used to diagnose serious diseases

When it comes to diseases, it is of crucial importance to detect them as early as possibly. Early diagnosis leads to greater chances of curing the illness or the disease, as well as reducing symptoms which make us feel unwell.

But did you know that it is the skin, the largest organ of the human’s body, that can reveal a lot about overall health?

There are plenty of skin signals that serve as red flags for underlying severe disorders, we just need to learn to listen to our body when it tries to warn us about potential dangers and not ignore the signs.

  1. Dark spots

One of the reasons why dark spots appear on a person’s skin might be Addison’s disease, or adrenal insufficiency, a rare long-term endocrine disorder characterized by inadequate production of the steroid hormones cortisol and aldosterone by the two outer layers of the cells of the adrenal glands.

Of course, the reasons might not be solely related to this disease as other symptoms which usually accompany this condition are loss of appetite, muscle and joint pain, low blood pressure, and low blood levels of sugar, as well as high blood levels of potassium.

2. Discoloration

If you notice skin discoloration or white patches that appear on your skin, it can be a sign of an autoimmune disease known as vitiligo. It can also be a sign of an infection, which is why you should see a doctor as soon as possible.

3. Rashes

A rash is any area of irritated or swollen skin on the body which can be itchy and painful. The reason rashes appear can be various, from bites to chickenpox to serious conditions like drug allergies. Rashes can be also caused by fungal skin infections, and parasites or insects living on the skin. Just to be sure you are not dealing with anything serious or life-threatening, always see a doctor.

4. Edemas

Edemas represent fluid retention, dropsy, hydropsy and swelling. It is the build-up of fluid in the body’s tissue, most commonly of the legs or arms. Symptoms may include skin which feels tight, the area may feel heavy, and joint stiffness. The swelling can be a result of hypothyroidism.

5. Moles

Every person has moles on their body, but in case you notice new moles appear rapidly and they cause pain or their size and color changes noticeably it can be a red flag which requires a medial examination.

6. Acne

Acne is a common inflammatory skin condition that leads to lesions which consist of non-inflammatory comedones, and inflammatory papules, pustules, nodules and cysts. They range from a few spots on the face, neck, back and chest, which most teenagers will have at some time, to a more severe problem that may cause scarring. Acne can be a result of excess skin oil, hormone imbalances, or digestive problems.

7. Flaking

The most common reasons which cause flaking are vitamin deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, allergic reactions, and certain diseases. If accompanied with other symptoms, flaking can suggest the presence of a serious underlying condition.

8. Excessive sweating

Sweating is a completely normal reaction of the body when we exercise or when the weather is hot, but excessive sweating can happen for no obvious reason, because of another condition you may have, or as a side effect of a medicine you’re taking. It could also indicate Graves’ disease, an autoimmune disorder affecting the thyroid.

Expecting a baby is one of the most cherished moments in the life of many parents-to-be. Couples who are eagerly waiting to embrace their tiny bundle of joy love taking photos of the days before the sweet baby enters the world so that they could show the little ones the joy that preceded their arrival.

Jazzy and Rich are no different. These two already have a daughter together and they were now preparing for the birth of another child. Both thought it would be awesome if they do a photo shoot, and so they did.

Jazzy and her little girl wore matching pink dresses and the proud mom had her hair and make-up done. The location? A perfect place with a waterfall.

This truly was a happy day for Jazzy, but little did she know it would turn even better as her partner had a surprise for her.

As she was posing, the photographer asked her to stay still for a photo while Rich got down on one knee behind her back. He had a box with a ring in his pocket and was ready to pop the question.

Heartbreaking news about Sofia Vergara confirms what we all feared

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara celebrated her 51st birthday recently, and as much as her fans were happy for her and the fun she had with her closest friends, they couldn’t help but notice the absence of her husband Joe Manganiello from the photos and they grew even more suspicious about his absence when the actress captioned one of the posts, “When life gives u lemons u come to Italy to squeeze them.”

Joe did wish his wife a very happy birthday with a blurred photo of the couple with the caption “¡¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sofía!!!” which many dubbed ‘cold.’

Rumors were that their relationship wasn’t at its best which was sadly confirmed when they announced they were separating after nearly eight years.

Sofia and Joe tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Palm Beach in November 2015. The 400 people in their guest list included Vergara’s Modern Family co-stars Ariel Winter, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland and Ty Burrell, as well as Manganiello’s co-stars from True Blood Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. Other A-list stars in attendance, among the rest, were Reese Witherspoon and Channing Tatum.

They first met at a White House Correspondent Association dinner in 2014 while she was engaged to businessman Nick Loeb. He asked for her number and just a few weeks later she broke up with Nick and she and Joe were a thing.

Speaking of meeting Sofia, Joe said in a 2020 interview, “I knew pretty quickly that I could trust her, and she knew pretty quickly that she could trust me. Sadly, the couple shared the news regarding their decision to separate in a statement to PageSix on Monday, saying, “We have made the difficult decision to divorce.”

“As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives,” their statement read.

A source close to the couple said, “Sofía and Joe have been growing apart for a while now and are taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future.” A different source added: “At the start of Sofia’s big birthday trip those close to her were explaining away Joe’s absence with the excuse that he was busy filming back on the East Coast; that excuse barely held up due to the writers strike, but once the actor’s strike took effect, he could have been on the first flight… and he quite clearly is not.

“So now no one out there with her is even attempting to pretend that it’s not over. It’s over. It’s done,” they ended.

A surprising history behind this unique plant

If you ever wondered how the eggplant got its name, this is the story behind this unique plant.

Well, we are very well aware that the long, purple crop goes well in a number of dishes. Whether it’s simply stir fried or used in salads or in more complex and traditional dishes such as baba ghanoush or ratatouille, the eggplant is in fact not a vegetable but a fruit. Yet, in a culinary sense, it is considered a vegetable.

Eggplants come in different forms and colors, way more unusual than the ones we are used to. In fact, eggplants come in shades of white, green, red, and black.

The name comes from their resemblance with eggs while they grow. Just like in the photo below posted by a Reddit user who made many go ‘aah’ when they saw the post.

In Britain, as well as some parts of Europe, the eggplant is called by its French name, aubergine.

When raw, eggplants have almost spongy texture and are quite bitter, that is why they are mostly consumed cooked and go well in plenty of dishes. They can be grilled, roasted, sautéed, fried, or baked, and are particularly well-suited to dishes that feature light sauces or delicate flavors which makes it a versatile and widely used plant.

There are differences between the white and purple eggplants. For one, the peel of the white eggplant is a bit thicker so its recommended to peel it off before cooking it, while that of the purple one is thinner and can be eaten.

While purple eggplants can be found almost everywhere, that’s not true for the white ones which are mostly found in specialty markets or through online seed catalogs for home gardeners.

Eggplants were first mentioned in 544 in a Chinese book on agriculture and have been considered a mysterious plant for many years. Allegedly, it was the European farmers who came up with the name back in the 1700’s because they resembled goose and duck eggs.

One thing is certain, eggplants are a true delicacy.

Man finds elderly veteran crying in the bathroom and hears rude teen laughing, now everyone’s talking about his response

A man named Marcus Pass shares a devastating story of a teenager making fun of an elderly veteran who couldn’t get up from the toilet seat because he was too weak. Sadly, this speaks a lot of how heartless and brutal most young people are nowadays.

Rant of the day…. eating lunch at zaxbys and over hear some young man laughing about an older gentleman in the bathroom that couldn’t get off the toilet. So I proceed to walk in and can hear this man crying on the toilet I ask him if he’s ok he said that his legs were to weak to stand up and he left his cane by the door. I asked him to unlock the door and helped the man up and got his pants up for him, the man had a Vietnam veteran hat on and gave me a hug and told me that he’s 69 years old and that was the most embarrassing moment in his life with tears in his eyes… I shook his hand and thanked him for all he’s done and walked him out to the lobby and made that teenager apologize to the man…

If we are lucky enough, we will all get old one day, and we will be as vulnerable and at times as helpless as this elderly veteran, that is why we should never forget to treat the elderly with utmost respect.

If there were more people like Marcus, this world would be a much better place.

Morgan Freeman, 86, suffers massive health shock

Actor Morgan Freeman missed the press trip to the United Kingdom for Special Ops: Lioness, leaving co-stars Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman without his company at the Paramount+ series’ promo. The reason why is that the Invictus star experienced fever ahead of his travel plans and according to his doctors he contracted a suspected ‘contagious infection.’

As expected, his absence was notable during a series of press engagements in London, including a screening of their Paramount+ show on Tuesday. The host of The One Show, Alex Jones, expressed her disappointment that Morgan was unable to attend when the two actresses appeared.

A representative of the actor informed MailOnline, “Morgan has a fever, and his doctor believed he had a contagious infection, so he canceled his trip. He is fine now.”

While he’s recovering, his co-stars follow quite a busy schedule. Both Saldana and Kidman had a photocall at the IET London and a screening at the Tate Britain.

Special Ops: Lioness is inspired by a real-life CIA program and follows the life of marine Joe (Zoe) as she attempts to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the CIA’s spear in the war on terror. Kidman plays senior CIA supervisor Kaitlyn Meade in the film. She works with Marine Raider Cruz (De Oliveira) on an undercover assignment to stop another 9/11.

Known for his shows within the Yellowstone universe, including historical series like 1883 and 1923, Special Ops: Lioness shows something different from creator Taylor Sheridan and it’s definitely worth watching.

The series is due to premiere on streaming platform Paramount+ on July 23 with episodes expected to be released weekly over the course of the season.

We hope Morgan Freeman will overcome any health issue he’s experiencing.

A flight is on its way to Sydney

There are plenty of jokes involving blonde women and police officers, and although they don’t really depict these peoples’ true natures and are just jokes, we hope no blonde woman will get mad at the following joke. It’s old but gold.

A flight is on its way to Sydney, Australia when a blonde in economy class gets up, and moves to the first class section and sits down. The flight attendant watches her do this, and asks to see her ticket. She then tells the blonde that she paid for economy class, and that she will have to sit in the back.

The blonde replies, “I’m blonde, I’m beautiful, I’m going to Sydney and I’m staying right here.” The flight attendant goes into the c*ckpit and tells the pilot and the co-pilot that there is a blonde bimbo sitting in first class, that belongs in economy, and won’t move back to her seat.

The co-pilot goes back to the blonde and tries to explain that because she only paid for economy she will have to leave and return to her seat. The blonde replies, “I’m blonde, I’m beautiful, I’m going to Sydney and I’m staying right here.” The co-pilot tells the pilot that he probably should have the police waiting when they land to arrest this blonde woman who won’t listen to reason. The pilot says, “You say she is a blonde? I’ll handle this, The pilot says, “You say she is a blonde? I’ll handle this , I’m married to a blonde. I speak blonde.” He goes back to the blonde and whispers in her ear, and she says, “Oh, I’m sorry” and gets up and goes back to her seat in economy. The flight attendant and co-pilot are amazed and asked him what he said to make her move without any fuss. I told her, “First class isn’t going to Sydney.”
