Cruel mother and her boyfriend abandon her 6-year-old daughter in the middle of the street and throw her clothes through the window before they drive off

A shocking video shows a careless mother and her boyfriend abandoning her daughter in the middle of the street.

The 6-year-old girl named Emma was in distress and had no idea what to do or where to go. Luckily, she was noticed by a woman named Mishka Peart who was getting home after she had finished her workout. Mishka said how she never works out in the morning, but that day she did, and it feels as though she was supposed to find this girl and help her.

The cruel abandonment took place at 140th Ave. from Springfield Blvd.

When Mishka saw Emma, the girl had a bag with some stuff in and another garbage bag. When Mishka approached and asked her what she was doing there all alone and where she was going, the girl started crying and said she had no idea and added, “I don’t know. They drove off and left me.”

Speaking to CBS New York, Mishka said of Emma, “She was very emotional and she was just scared.”

Emma’s mother, Patrice Chambers, and her boyfriend, Mark Pamphile, simply abandoned the girl. It can be seen on the footage how they throw her bags through the window and drive off while the girl is confused and waves at them to return.

New York Daily News reported of the incident and said that before the abandonment took place Pamphile left a voicemail to Emma’s father saying, “You better come get your daughter. Your daughter is in the street not sleeping nowhere. She is crying like a little b—-” while Emma could be heard crying in the background.

Mishka alerted the police about Emma and her mom and the boyfriend were tracked down in a matter of hours.

According to court documents, the reason why Emma was thrown on the street by Pamphile was that she wasn’t his kid. “These kids are a problem to me. This kid is her kid. This kid is not my kid, not my problem, not my responsibility,” he was reported saying.

The mother on the other hand said how she took Emma at her father’s place, not knowing there was a footage showing she wasn’t telling the truth.

The girl’s father, Watson, said how he and Emma’s mom broke up around four years ago and he barely saw his daughter ever since. He added how Chambers never drove Emma at his place although he agreed to take her after they called him. He said he had a doorbell video to prove that Emma wasn’t with him that day.

Later, Chambers admitted she abandoned Emma and said she did it because she was frustrated.

The good thing is that Mishka found herself in the right place at the right time and stepped in for Emma. “I am just so confused as to how people can just leave their children on the street with garbage bags. I’m mindblown. I mean, I am like in total shock. It’s like God sent me and put me here ‘cuz I do not normally work out in the mornings. I’m still in shock,” this kind-hearted woman says.

At the moment, Emma is under the care of child welfare services in Suffolk County who are planning to place her with a relative.

As for her cruel mother and her crazy boyfriend, they will both be charged with child abandonment and reckless endangerment. We hope the justice will be served and they will spend time behind bars for the ordeal they forced Emma to go through.

Looters prevent 2-year-old boy battling stage 4 cancer to celebrate his birthday at home

Owen Buell is a sweet toddler who suffers from neuroblastoma, a type of cancer that forms in certain types of nerve tissue. Sadly, that forced him to spend an extensive part of his life at the hospital.

A couple of days ago, Owen turned two, but he wasn’t able to celebrate his birthday in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family and the people who love him. The reason why were the looters who made it too dangerous for him to travel back home. Namely, he and his parents were staying at the local Ronald McDonald House, which provides comforting environment for sick children and their families.

The day prior to Owen’s big day, his mom Valerie Mitchell got a call from the nurse who told her the devastating news.

“Her exact words were, ‘I don’t know if you’ve seen the news yet, but they’re protesting or rioting outside Lurie Children’s, and we’re going to cancel all of the appointments today. I was crying. I was mad, extremely mad,” Valerie told CBSN Chicago.

Ronald McDonald House, Chicago/CBSN Chicago

Luckily, Owen and his parents got home a day after his birthday and he still got to have a birthday party. The Chicago police department offered to escort the family home, making sure they are safe and sound.

The Ronald McDonald House is near the Lurie Children’s Hospital and a temporary home to around 30 families with sick children. On the night of the protests, all the people staying there were terribly frightened. The looters caused a mess, smashed windows, and gunfire shots could be heard.

“[They were] very concerned there was a lot of activity right in front of the house, people making choices that could put them at risk and put our families at risk, so the staff was frightened,” Ronald McDonald House Charities’ Lisa Mitchell told ABC7.

Owen’s relatives set up a GoFundMe page that would help the family financially because no one is certain how much more time the sweet boy would have to spend at the hospital.

There is also a Facebook page where the family keeps everyone updated about Owen’s condition. “Thank you everyone. We knew this journey would be long and difficult, we just didn’t know how difficult it could be when the world decides to throw in a few monkey wrenches,” the site says.

CBSN Chicago

We wish Owen a very happy birthday and many more to come. We hope he will end up winner in the battle with cancer and will have an amazing life. Stay strong Owen, you are a little hero.

People were kayaking in the ocean when a turtle in distress swam towards them asking for help

As much as humans destroy the Earth and harm the animals living both on land and in the water, there are still people out there who fight for the rights of those who can’t speak for themselves.

The fact that the seas and oceans are full of debris and plastic is sad all by itself. Turtles, fish, whales, and a huge number of creatures die because they eat the plastic and all the garbage that ends in their homes.

A group of people were kayaking off the coast of Gran Canaria, Spain, when they spotted a creature swimming towards them. At first, they couldn’t say what it was, but soon, they realized it was a turtle in distress and in need of help. The poor soul was trapped in a fishing net which was tied around its neck and one of its front legs.

One of the people rushed to take the turtle in his arms. After a couple of minutes, the sweet animal was free and the people who saved it were glad they could help.

Before returning it back into the water, its rescuer gave the turtle a gentle kiss on the head.

The video of the sweet rescue has been seen by nearly 2 million people who praise the kind humans for helping the turtle. “Lovely to see. Love the kiss on the head and the gentle care he takes. Beautiful. Thank you kind stranger!” one person wrote.

You can take a look at it in the video below. I’m sure you’ll want to share it with your friends.

Great Dane puppy refuses to get out of bed in the morning and tells the owner why in a hilarious way

Getting up at 3:30 am? It’s a big no, no for me. Well, for most people as well. But some people have to wake up at that time, like this family from Birmingham MI that owns a bagel factory.

Although they are used to starting the day that early, their dog Thor, who obviously isn’t an early riser, wants to sleep longer. When his dad wakes him up, he says no in the most adorable way possible. It’s not a surprise more than 21.5 million people have seen his grumpy, yet cute reaction.

Many people relate to his unwillingness to leave the comfy bed. One person wrote, “That kinda looks like me when I had to get up for school.” Another said, “To be fair, I’d make the same noises if you tried to get me up and out at three thirty in the morning.”

You will definitely want to see this and share it with your friends.

Father of 3 and former marine who served 13 years gets killed while helping driver in distress

Some people would go above and beyond for the well-being of others, even if that means risking their own life along the way.

Tim Ebert was a father of three and a former marine considered by everyone who has ever met him a person with the biggest heart. Sadly, he lost his life on August 9th after he stepped in for a driver in distress while on the way to the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport where he worked as a air traffic controller.

The moment Tim noticed the stranded driver, he got out of his vehicle and headed to offer help, not knowing his life would end on that highway. Namely, as Tim was getting back to his car, he got hit by a truck.

The news of his passing was received with shock by his family and friends.

Jack Doyle, Tim’s friend of many years, couldn’t believe what he was hearing when he got the call that morning.

“It’s such a tragic event, this guy was on his way into work, just doing the normal day routine, and happens to encounter somebody on the side of the road that needed help. And Tim got killed for doing that,” Doyle said.“We utilized him a lot in conflict resolution at work because he was such a nice, likeable guy.”

This incredible man served in the U.S Marine Corps for 13 years and served as a Gunnery Sergeant at Air Station Beaufort.

Speaking of his friend, Doyle said, “He was a highly successful individual that we knew was going to keep the flying public safe, that we knew he was going to be looking out for the hardball characteristics on landing. It’s absolutely shattering, like we’re all devastated.”

Relatives of the family set up a GoFundMe page to cover the costs of the funeral and help his wife Lindsay and the kids.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 15, at Savannah Airport Recreation Center.

Tim was an amazing father and husband who will be deeply missed. He died a hero and will be remembered as someone who was always willing to step in for anyone in need of help. Our hearts go out to the grieving family. Please share this story in Tim’s honor.

5-year-old boy shot to death at point blank range by father’s neighbor while riding his bike with his sisters

5-year-old Cannon Hinnant from North Carolina died tragically after he was shot to death at point blank range while riding his bike around the neighborhood. The alleged killer is one of Cannon’s father’s neighbors, 25-year-old Darius Sessoms. At the time of the shooting, Cannon was together with his two sisters, aged 7 and 8, and his cousin, who witnessed the whole thing.

The reason behind this gruesome act is still unknown. Authorities arrested the killer and are trying to discover what made Sessoms kill an innocent boy. They, however, believe this wasn’t a random act, but there is a motive behind it.

Another witness, Doris Lybrand, said how she saw Sessoms approaching Cannon, and then placing the gun against his head and pulling the trigger. “My first reaction was he’s playing with the kids,” she said. “For a second, I thought, ‘That couldn’t happen.’ People don’t run across the street and kill kids.”

Lybrand rushed back into her house and called 911, but it was way too late for something to be done for the sweet boy.

Reports say how neighbors saw Cannon’s father, Austin, having dinner with the killer on Friday, one day before the shooting took place. Questioned about that, the father said how he invited Sessoms over after he saw him sitting all by himself in his car, looking like “he had a lot on his mind.” He further claimed he had no idea why the neighbor would kill his son. “There wasn’t anything between me and him, any bad blood whatsoever, for him to have a reason to do this,” Austin said, according to reports.

In the meantime, a family member named Christina Prezioso who set up a GoFundMe page wrote how the reason for the killing was that Cannon rode his bide in the killer’s yard.

“[A] sweet soul named Cannon Hinnant was taken from this world over a senseless act. A beautiful 5 year old baby boy riding his bicycle was shot by his neighbor point blank in Wilson NC.”

“One minute he is enjoying his life, the next it all ends because he rode into his neighbors yard. 5 years old guys!! Nothing prepares a parent for the loss of their child. No child should ever have their future stolen from them.”

Connan’s grieving mother, Bonny Waddell, said of her child that he had the biggest heart. “It’s devastating. No one should ever have to bury their child. No mother should have to go through this,” she told Wilson Times.

We pray for Cannon’s family to stay strong during these hard times and we hope justice would be served.

Woman in the 35th week of pregnancy killed by a suspected drunk driver – doctors struggle to save the baby’s life

The tragic news of the death of a 23-year-old mother-to-be shook the whole country.

Yesenia Lisette Aguilar was in the 35th week of pregnancy when she lost her life after a 40-year-old woman who was believed to be under influence of alcohol lost control over her SUV and hit Aguilar who was walking on the sidewalk with her husband. We are deeply saddened by this tragic event. A young life was lost. We pray for the baby girl to pull through.

Dog who saves handler’s life in Iraq many times reunites with him after retirement and saves him all over again

Nothing speaks friendship and loyalty like the bond between deployed military members and their dogs. These animals not only help during important missions and operations, but they keep the soldiers company too.

Source: Wikimedia Commons

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Harvey Holt served in Iraq for a long time. There, he met the Belgian Malinois Jackson and the two became best friends right away. Holt couldn’t even imagine that this dog would save his life many times, not only during deployment, but later as well.

During their second day in Iraq, Holt and Jackson were on a mission to do a quick sweep of a school outside Baqubah, some 30 miles north of Baghdad. “We went in and we started searching for weapons caches, explosives, anything that military working dog Jackson would find or any insurgents it might be hiding in the building,” Holt told the Fox series “Hero Dogs.”

Source: Wikimedia Commons

Jackson sniffed out a cache of machine guns and bomb-making materials, and as the two headed to the parked trailers, Jackson prevented Holt from making a move. It was then that the Sergeant noticed a tripwire.

“Jackson came up to a trailer and then stopped. I almost tripped over him for a second, but he stopped me from going forward,” Holt said. “At the end of that tripwire were three mortar rounds. The IED would have went off and probably killed me and the three other members of the Army that was with me that day.”

This was just the first time that Jackson stepped in for his handler in the right time to save his life.

Years passed by, and Jackson and Holt were each other’s support during each day. But then the time came for Holt to retire. As for Jackson, he still had a lot to offer to the military and stayed in Iraq for seven more years.

Source: No Kill Revolution/Facebook

Holt said how he has never cried in his life, except when he had to leave his furry pal behind. He was so sad that he and Jackson would separate that he took his leash and his collar to keep them close.

Once he returned home to the United States, Holt started experiencing panic attacks, but this time, his friend wasn’t by his side to keep him company and be there for him during his hard times.

Seven years after they said goodbye to one another, Holt got a call that would change his life. As it turned out, Jackson was about to retire and the forces were putting him up for adoption. This was enough for Holt to know that Jackson’s place was next to his side.

Thanks to Holt’s friends and members of the Bloomfield, Indiana community where Holt lives, Jackson could get to the States and into his new home. The reunion took place in Washington D.C. and it was one of the most emotional things most people ever witnessed. The story of Holt and Jackson spread around the country and many were thrilled for the happy ending.

Sadly, on November of 2014, just 8 months after the reunion, Jackson got ill and passed away. That broke Holt’s heart, but at least he knew his friend spent his last days knowing he was loved and cared for just like back in the old days when the two undertook many missions together.

After the sad news of Jackson’s passing spread, Holt received over 14,000 condolences from people from all over the country.

“The first time they gave me the leash I looked down and said what am I going to do with him. But the first time he turned around and looked up at me and I saw into his copper eyes, I fell in love with him.”

Jackson played a very important role in Holt’s life. He wasn’t only his friend, but an important part of the family.

Holt, who is currently battling lung cancer, speaks of his relationship with Jackson in a touching interview. Take a look at it below.

Mom wants to raise awareness of the importance of vaccination by sharing photos of her baby who caught chickenpox

The question of whether or not vaccines are good or bad is causing a stir among the public in the recent years. Those who believe in the benefits of the vaccines on one side, and the anti vaxxers on the other, both having their reasons to believe in what they chose to be best for them and their families.

A mother from Queensland, Australia, named Kayley Burke is sharing the story of how bad her son’s condition was after he got chickenpox but was way too young to get the shot.

Facebook

It wasn’t just 11-month-old Elijah who caught the chickenpox, but Burke and her older son Kaliah who was already vaccinated too. And although these two suffered pain and itching, their situation wasn’t at all as severe as that of Elijah who became very ill.

Burke blamed parents who refuse to vaccinate their children for what happened to her son.

Facebook

She took to Facebook to raise awareness of the importance of vaccination and wrote, “Vaccinate your kids people. The pictures below show you exactly why. Our poor baby boy who is too young to be immunised has caught the chickenpox. It has almost been a week since they showed up.”

Facebook

“Kaliah and myself also have the chickenpox. Fortunately since Kaliah hasn’t long been immunised she has a few spots and blisters but is well in herself. Think about the risk you are putting on other helpless kids that are too young or who actually can’t be vaccinated,” the worried mom added.

Speaking to Sunshine Coast Dail, Burke said that she felt awful and helpless looking at her son struggling with the chickenpox and urged parents to think about the importance of getting their kids vaccinated.

Facebook

Eventually, sweet Elijah got better, but he went though something that could be easily avoided according to his mother.

Scared otter chased by orca finds a safe place on a man’s boat

Orcas, or killer whales, are the largest members of the oceanic dolphin family. They have a distinctive looks, black-and-white coloration, large dorsal fin and a sleek, streamlined body, and their intelligence makes them incredible predators. Orcas are capable of killing sea lions and great white sharks, but this time, a sweet otter was about to end up in one of these orca’s stomach if it wasn’t for a boat that was floating in the middle of the game of “cat and mouse.”

The encounter of life and death took place in Halibut Cove, Alaska, while John Dornellas was enjoying the day on his boat. He then witnessed the incredible incident of the killer whale trying to catch the otter who jumped on the boat in order to save its life.

Dornellas couldn’t believe what he was seeing. While the scared animal clung to the transom of the boat, the predator swam around unwilling to let go of the prey.

John Dornellas

Once the video was shared online, it caught the attention of many. Speaking of the experience with T&T Creative Media, Dornellas said, “A game of cat-and-mouse followed, with the otter hopping back into the water in an attempt to get away, only for the orca to chase it back up again three or four times.”

John Dornellas

Dornellas decided not to move his boat in fear of hurting either of the animals. Captain Chantrelle Major, who was on the boat next to Dornellas’ filmed the whole thing as well.

They both agree this is something we don’t get to see every day. Isn’t nature amazing all by itself?

Dornellas explained that after the orca swam away, he started up his boat. The otter jumped off when it felt the danger was no longer near.

This video is definitely something you don’t want to miss. Check it out below.

Mom who gave birth to a stillborn baby speaks of the kindness she received by the nurses at the hospital

Nothing really compares with the pain of losing a child, and in those moments of unspeakable distress, the last thing grieving mothers should hear is how everything is going to be fine, because it never is, and the sorrow doesn’t go away even after so much time.

Rachel Whalen gave birth to a stillborn baby, and that’s when her world collapsed. But this brave mother gathered courage to speak up about the most sensitive topic we all tend to avoid.

She says how she managed to go through her ordeal with the help of the nurses from the hospital where she delivered her baby. These caring and compassionate women provided Rachel with hope during the rough times she was trying to endure.

Facebook/An Unexpected Family Outing

Simply saying “I am sorry for you loss” is never enough.

What truly helps grieving parents in moments like this are the constant care and support. What nurses did for Rachel was exactly that, all the little things they did added up to more than the sum of its parts. She was thankful for their support and wanted them to know how much she appreciated what they did for her, so she wrote a letter on her Facebook page saying:

“To the nurses, Thank you for saving me. Your skills and your knowledge saved me from following my daughter into death, but it was your compassion that guided me back towards life. The humanity you demonstrated is what brought me back into life; you made it possible to think about living after death. For this, I owe you my love and deepest gratitude. Thank you to the nurses who always made sure my husband had enough pillows when he had to stay in my hospital room. And thank you to the nurses who let him sneak popsicles from the freezer. You recognized that this was an experience for him and that he also needed your care.”

Rachel wants to highlight that although doctors are those who help keep patients physically alive, the nurses have even more important job, that of keeping the patient’s spirit up, and not letting them fall into depression. In situations like Rachel’s, nurses are also aware that the father is experiencing the same pain.

Facebook/An Unexpected Family Outing

The nurses at the hospital were her guides and escorts, literally taking her to to exactly where she needed to be so that her own life could be saved.

“Thank you to the nurse who came with me when they rushed me to the ICU from Labor & Delivery. Thank you for being my advocate when I couldn’t speak up because I was too busy fighting for my life. I’m not sure I would have lived to see my daughter if you hadn’t been there. Thank you to the nurse who taught me how to fill my bra with ice packs when I needed to suppress my milk after my daughter was stillborn. I also want to thank you for holding me as I wept at the burden I could not release. Your embrace did nothing to lighten the heaviness in my breasts, but you brought a glimmer of light into my very dark world. Thank you to the nurse in the ICU who came in to clean me up after my daughter died. Thank you for taking the time to help me wash my face and brush my hair. I can still sense how it felt to have you smooth my hair back into a ponytail, it was a touch that wasn’t a poke or a prod. It was a gesture.”

In the time when you feel like your whole world turns upside down, the nurses make sure you move on. Their kind gestures and their courage to speak to a mother about her deceased child and even calling it by name means they acknowledge that the little soul is never dead in the heart of the parents.

“Thank you to the nurse who crouched by my bedside and asked me about Dorothy. Thank you for knowing how important it was for her to be real even though she was gone. I will never forget the way you leaned in, just like we were friends, and asked: ‘Do you want to tell me about her?’ Thank you to the nurse who dressed my baby and took her picture. Thank you for making sure her hat didn’t cover her eyes and that her hands were positioned so gracefully. That picture means the world to us. Thank you to the nurses who took the time to read my chart before shift change. I want to thank you for learning our names and learning the name of our daughter before you walked into my room. It meant so much to hear our names spoken together. It made us feel like a family.”

The only thing that can help mothers like Rachel during their darkest hour is the admission and the acceptance that what they are going through is real and allowing them to take the time to grieve.

Facebook/An Unexpected Family Outing

“Thank you to the nurse who slipped quietly into my room on my first night without Dorothy so that you could hold my hand. Thank you for whispering to me your story about your own child who was born still. Thank you for being the first person to lead me out of the isolation one feels after losing a child. Your presence felt too good to be true. I’m still not convinced I didn’t dream you up just, so I could make it through that first lonely night. Finally, I want to thank the nurses who saw me through my pregnancy with Dorothy’s little sister. Even after Frances came into the world, you never forgot that someone came before her. You knew that the birth of Frances did not make me a first-time mother. It made me a mother of two.”

Rachel signed the letter, “Gratefully, The One You Brought Back.”

Please share this story with your family and friends to help them learn how to treat bereaved parents.

Worker at a living facility steps in to be elderly man’s “daughter” during the last months of his life

We often speak of the importance of family in the life of a person, but let’s take a second and ask ourselves, what family really is? Is it the people we are related by blood, or the people we can rely on when we feel down and feel like our world is collapsing? I would say the latter, and the story of Brooke O’Briant says the same.

Brooke shared a story with Love What Matters and spoke how she stepped in for the role of a daughter for an elderly man named Mr. Nathaniel Hudson. Namely, Brooke does the marketing at North River Village Assisted Living and on 21st of December 2018 she was asked to go and pick Mr. Hudson up and bring him to the facility so that he could check it out. There, she noticed how tiny this man’s apartment was and something told her that she should never leave this elderly’s side.

The day at the facility was a fun one. Mr. Hudson saw his potential new home and the two even attended a Christmas party where they danced together.

But in next couple of days, Mr. Hudson’s health deteriorated and he was admitted at the hospital where he stayed for a while. Then, on April 5, 2019, Mr. Hudson finally arrived at the facility where Brooke worked.

“I felt so good knowing he was in a safe, clean place with three meals a day, nurses making sure he took his medications, and new friendships to lift his spirits. Over the following 12 months, Mr. Hudson and I became close buddies. He didn’t have any family in the picture, so I gladly stepped up to be a daughter to him.”

Brooke helped Mr. Hudson with a lot of things such as his mail, his errands, doctor’s appointments, dry cleaning bills, and a lot more. She said that this man became a part of her family.

“He went to church with my family and was around my kiddos many times. He proudly told everyone he saw at church that day that I was his daughter. It melted my heart. I was so proud to hold onto his arm throughout worship and the sermon. He danced at his seat that day and everyone around him enjoyed it.”

Unfortunately, at the beginning of 2020, Mr. Hudson started feeling very ill and was soon diagnosed with cancer. That broke Brooke’s heart who loved him as his father. Mr. Hudson loved her back and he didn’t want to make any decisions without her.

“During a hospital stay the staff started asking him questions about nursing homes and end of life care and he said, ‘I’m not making any decisions without Brooke.’ In another nurse’s note, he said, ‘Brooke is my everything.’ Since Mr. Hudson had officially discharged from the facility and was going to a nursing home, he made me his power of attorney. I was honored and humbled to represent him.”

In April, Mr. Hudson passed away, but he left this world knowing he was loved and cared for. Brooke was happy she made a change in the elderly man’s life.

Officer comforts a dying homeless man as she’s his only friend

Police Officer Dena Walker Pauly from Lawrenceville is the kind of person who helps make this world a better place. She doesn’t do her job for the sake of getting paid, but always goes above and beyond for all the people in need she meets on a daily basis.

One day, this officer got a call from a local pawn shop about a man they didn’t know how to assist. Little did the officer know that the man she was about to help will change her life forever.

Source: Instagram/Kojach

“The truth is that this woman is a police officer and she met Bob only two years ago while she was on duty. Lawrenceville Police Officer Dena Walker Pauly’s life was changed forever when she was dispatched to a local pawn shop, where staff were unsure how to help him,” Georgia Law Enforcement wrote on their Facebook page, sharing the touching story.

When Officer Pauly met Bob who had spent most of his life on the streets, she knew she had to be there for him, not only at that moment, but in the days and the years to come as well.

Bob suffered two strokes and had troubles performing everyday tasks. That broke Officer Pauly’s heart. Was she the only person who was there for Bob? Sadly, the answer was a yes, so she could never walk away from him.

“She may have been dispatched that day by police radio, but we have no doubt she was really sent by God,” the department wrote of the serendipitous encounter.

Source: Facebook/Dena Walker Pauly

Officer Pauly took the time to teach Bob, who was left non-verbal because of his poor health, how to eat again. She also made sure she cleaned his tiny apartment regularly.

When Bob suffered another stoke, Officer Pauly made the hard decision to begin hospice care for him. She held his hand during the last days of his life and repeatedly said how she loved him, and it was probably the first time that this man heard these words in his life.

“This photo depicts the true nature of law enforcement officers. We are drawn to this profession because we care so deeply that it hurts sometimes. We see the worst, but sometimes we also get to see the best. And we have opportunities to truly make a difference for people. Like Bob.”

The department felt the need to tell the community and the whole country of how loving and caring this officer is. They felt that she deserved to be praised for all the love and dedication she had given to a complete stranger she met around two years ago. “Officer Pauly, your dedication and commitment to your oath of office, and fellow man, embodies what it means to be a Police Officer. Stories like this happen every day, but because they don’t fit a certain narrative, no one hears about it.”

Sadly, a couple of days after the touching photos were taken and shared online, Bob left this world.

“It is with a very heavy heart that we have to report that Bob passed away earlier today. While the end of one’s life is always sad, it is the love and compassion that he received from Officer Pauly that gives us a smile knowing he is now in a much better place!”

Officer Pauly was glad people posted so many positive comments on the social media and praised her for what she did for Bob. “Thank you all for the kind words during this difficult time. Thank you for praying for us. I spent a couple of hours with him today, singing and talking to him. He has started his journey Home and I am so excited for him!!! My friend is about to experience a happiness like never before,” she wrote.

She even left flowers in memory of Bob at the corner of the street that he loved the most.

Local funeral home offered to take care of Bob’s funeral and many people were there to say the last goodbye. Bob spent most of his life as a lonely man, but at least he got to experience love and care during the last two years of his life, and for that, we are forever grateful to Officer Pauly.

Foster mom enters Walmart with her kids, but mutters “I’m sorry” when she can’t pay for her groceries

No matter how small or insignificant it may seem, each act of kindness goes a long way. The story of this kind-hearted young man named Nick Tate is the perfect example of that.

Source: KFOR Oklahoma’s News 4/YouTube

Nick works as a cashier at the local Walmart in Oklahoma and is known as a nice guy who is always ready to help people in need. This time, he stepped in for a foster mom who struggled to pay for her groceries. As the woman approached and handed him her card, it was obvious she was worried because she didn’t know whether she would be able to pay for what was in her cart.

Nick took the card, but it was declined. He tried a couple more times, but it didn’t work. As the place was crowded, the line already got long and customers were anxious to get to the register as soon as possible. In order to avoid for the foster mom to leave the store without her groceries, among which was a milk for her young child, Nick said it was okay and paid $60 from his pocket.

The mom said “I’m sorry” as she couldn’t believe what this young man did for her. She thanked him a thousand times as tears rolled down her face.

Soon, the word of Nick’s good dead spread around and reached to his boss. Nick thought he might be in trouble for helping, but he was wrong. His boss was very glad he showed compassion for a foster mother in need of help.

The community, who loves Nick and agrees he’s an example of everything a man his age should be, decided to nominate him for the local Pay It 4ward Award. A representative for the award appeared at Walmart while Nick was on the job to surprise him with the award. They told Nick that they were very proud of him and gave him $400.

Newborn fawn gets close to a little girl – now, everyone calls her the “deer whisperer”

It’s not unusual for a lost cat or a dog to end up in someone’s yard, but when it comes to wild animals, we don’t get to witness something like that very often. Well, that is why this story of a baby fawn that wandered into a family’s yard is that special.

Source: Brad Herring/YouTube

The Herrings were getting back home from a canoe trip and were looking forward to taking some rest from the busy and the fun day, but just as they got near their home, they spotted a fawn. The little one was probably lost, and the family expected from it to get scared from them and run away, but to their surprise, just the opposite happened.

The baby deer approached Maya, the family’s little daughter. The sight of the two getting so close and Maya petting the baby was an incredible to witness. We are so glad dad caught everything on tape.

Now, after the little ones had some bonding time together, everyone was aware it was about time for them to try and find the baby’s mother. So Maya and her family headed into the woods while the fawn followed. Finally, the baby found a comfortable place.

Maya’s dad, Brad, got back to the fawn to get it some food and water and the family checked on it the following day. It looked like the baby failed to track its mother, but none lost hope.

A couple of days later, the Herrings spotted a family of deer. A mom, a dad, and two fawns. They were certain one of them was Maya’s friend and they were glad the family was reunited.

Brad thought sharing the video of his daughter and the fawn would bring many smiles at many people, and he was completely right. More than 6.8 million people have seen the unique encounter.

You can take a look at it below. It’s no wonder Maya was dubbed “deer whisperer” after this was filmed.

7-year-old skater strikes a pose on the ice before stealing hearts with her marvelous performance

Isn’t it incredible that we sometimes get to witness young and talented movie stars or singers grow up right before our eyes? We get to see their beginning, breakthroughs, ambitions, successes and even failures.

If you are a fan of ice skating, you are very likely to have witnessed the rise of then 7-year-old Gia Kokotakis. Yes, she was that young when she started competing against girls as old as 14.

The incredible video of her performance is from 2009 LA Open Artistic, where Gia got the 3rd place. From then on, she only became better and better, and today, at the age of 18, she’s still competing professionally and is hoping to be part of the 2022 Olympics.

Little Gia’s performance started as soon as the melody of the song ‘You Raise Me Up’ filled the place. She confidently stood on one leg while keeping her head and her arms high. Needless to say, she resembled a true professional.

Spectators had a hard time believing such a young lady could show so much gracefulness as they saw her twisting and gliding around the ring.

With the chorus of the song, Gia showed a bold move; she leaped into the air, spanned, and then touched the floor in a perfect manner. It was obvious she put a lot of time and effort into this performance because every move was done flawlessly.

As the song came to an end, this talented girl slid forward with one knee on the ground and finished her performance. The crowd couldn’t stop cheering. Gia stole their hearts and took their breath away. It was enough evidence for her that she did everything right. That, and the fact that the video has since been seen more than 5 million times.

Gia continued skating. The year after her memorable performance, she took part in the La Jolla Open Preliminary Freeskate Competition, skating on the music of the soundtrack from the movie The Mask of Zorro. With this performance, Gia showed that she improved her moves even further. Although she was just eight years old, her name sounded familiar to those who were into ice skating.

This performance was worth the first place and the judges saw that.

Today, Gia is 18 years old and she still competes professionally. We honestly hope she will fulfill all her dreams, including the one about taking part in the Olympics. Below is the video of her first professional competition. Don’t forget to share it with yur friends if you loved it as much as we did.

Man enjoys the South Ontario nature and bites into an apple in the woods, not expecting mother deer to bring her fawn over for a bite

A man who decided to take a trip into the deep forest of Ontario was left stunned by the amazing thing he experienced. He decided to take a rest and enjoy the mesmerizing nature around him. The tall trees, the fresh air, and the vivid green color of the grass make this place a true Heaven on Earth. Besides random humans who visit this place in hopes of finding their peace and tranquility away from the busy and crowded cities, it’s also a home of many animals. If you are lucky, they may even come out from their shelter and treat you with their presence.

YouTube

That’s exactly what this man stumbled upon. He found himself in a middle of a fairytale-like scene surrounded by a gorgeous deer family. Him taking a loud bite of the apple he carried with him and munching on it was enough for the lovely creatures to appear and satisfy their curiosity of who could it be to visit their home. The most unusual thing was that the mother let her fawns approach the man. He was overjoyed to see the lovely family so close to him but had to hide his excitement and avoid any sudden movements that could frighten the animals.

He quickly tossed them pieces of his food which they were happy to try. Deer are not afraid of humans because in this forest they are protected by law and are used to having guests around occasionally.

YouTube

This might be one of the most remarkable footage of human-animal interactions we’ve ever seen. It’s pure magic how the deer family got so close to the man who had his camera rolling and managed to catch the breathtaking encounter on tape.

If you ever have the chance to visit this forest just grab it, because it’s a once in a life time opportunity to share your lunch with magnificent creatures like deer.

Please share the video with your friends.

Mom urges parents not to let anyone kiss their babies after her 1-year-old son ended up in hospital with life-threatening rash

Little kids and babies are the most adorable creatures on Earth, so it doesn’t really come as a surprise that we feel the urge to hug them and give them a kiss when we see them. The thing is that these souls are very gentle and fragile, and sometimes, the behavior we manifest around them can negatively affect them without us even being aware of that.

One mother from Grimsby, North Lincolnshire, UK spoke of the ordeal her 1-year-old son had to go through because of a kiss.

Facebook / Demi Boswell

Demi Boswell took to the social media to share the story of how little Cohen ended up in the hospital with a severe rush after a person with a herpes gave him a kiss. His immune system couldn’t easily fight against the virus that spread on him so the rush covered all his body.

The worried mom wants everyone to know that herpes can be fatal to babies and pleads people not to kiss little children if they have cold sores. She hopes no other child should ever experience what Cohen did.

Thankfully, Cohen is now doing better.

Facebook / Demi Boswell

“People might not want to see these photos but I think it’s important I show them,” she wrote. “Cohen got blue lighted to hospital with doctors already waiting to take him in.”

“Even if you can’t see a cold sore it could be underlying so you have no idea you have one. I kiss my boy on the lips every day all day but this has definitely opened my eyes now,” she added.

Next time you get around a little baby, please make sure to wash your hands before you touch them or kiss them. Their immune system is yet to develop so they are likely to catch viruses.

Mom announces birth of identical triplets by sharing a photo of her dyed placenta

Creating a life is something incredible all by itself, but creating more than one in a single body is a true miracle. A mom from Australia named Sammi Edes was over the moon when she learned she was carrying triplets. Her babies were identical and doctors said the odds of conceiving with identical triplets was one in 60,000 to one in 200 million pregnancies.

Facebook / Sammi Edes

Although she was overjoyed by the thought of giving birth to three babies, Edes had her fears because she knew that carrying triplets wasn’t easy. And she was right. When she was in the 20th week of pregnancy, doctors told her how one of her babies wasn’t developing as the rest. Namely, Geoffrey and Hunter had the lion’s share, while Thomas was only getting a tiny portion of the oxygen, the blood, and the much needed nutrients.

Sadly, that meant that Thomas should be aborted, otherwise he could affect the growt of his siblings as well. That, however, wasn’t an option for Edes. She was determined to do all in her power to keep all her babies.

When she reached week 30, Edes gave birth to her miracle bundles of joy. They were all born healthy and this mom couldn’t wait to hold them in her arms.

Facebook / Sammi Edes

Doctors were left in disbelief and couldn’t understand how Thomas managed to get to 30 weeks and 6 days. To show just how miraculous his survival really was, they painted Edes’ placenta with three different colors, each showing the amount of nutrients the babies were getting. It clearly shows just how little Thomas was receiving (yellow color) in comparison to his brothers.

The photo was soon shared by Edes and it caught the attention of people from basically the whole world.

“I thought I would share this picture with all of you guys as it’s something we as mums don’t really ever get to see and this is our babies’ lifeline when inside us. It’s pretty amazing to think that was keeping them alive,” the proud mommy wrote.

Isn’t this incredible and beautiful beyond words? If you know miracles do happen and if you believe this is one of them please share this story.

Hollywood star Robert Redford speaks of his mother and reveals his biggest regret

Robert Redford’s career of over 60 years isn’t due to his incredible acting skills and diversity of screen characterizations only, but his looks and his heart of gold as well.

To remain one of the best in the industry for so many years isn’t something many actors can be proud of, but for Redford, each and every film and project has been a huge success.

Besides being best known for roles in acclaimed films like ‘The Sting’ and ‘The Way We Were,’ Redford is also a director, entrepreneur, and producer. He’s the founder of the Sundance Institute and Film Festival in Utah. Back in 2014, Time Magazine placed him on the list Time 100, naming him one of the “Most Influential People in the World.”

Redford has always had a very special bond with his mother. She was someone he could always turn to and someone who believed in him unconditionally. During the Sundance Film Festival Utah Women’s Leadership Celebration in 2018, he said, “The one person who stood behind me was my mother,” and he meant that, because Martha Hart was the perfect mother.

“Why do I feel this strong connection to women?” he then asked. “I think it probably has to do with my mom.”

Redford would always describe her as an adventurous and a ‘glass-half full’ person. Sadly, she passed away when Redford was 18 years old, and he has been missing her ever since because she was that one special person in his life who always made it complete.

“She believed that all things considered, she just had faith that I had something in me that was going to turn out OK,” he told Womans World.

Redford feels extremely sorry she didn’t live to see his worldwide success as an actor, director, and mostly as a person committed to environmental causes.

“She had a hemorrhage tied to a blood disorder she got after losing twin girls at birth 10 years after I was born.” But she wanted a big family badly and got pregnant again despite being told that another pregnancy could be life-threatening.

With so many accomplishments under his belt, one would say that Redford’s life is perfect, which isn’t far from the truth to be honest. He, however, like most living beings has his regrets, one of which is that he never got to say “thank you” to his mom.

“I took [her] for granted because that’s the way kids were at that age,” Redford told Womans World. “My regret is that she passed away before I could thank her.”

Pinterest

After her death, Robert found comfort in marrying Lola Van Wagenen in 1958. At the time, he was just 22 years old and she was still a teenager. The two were married for 27 years and had four children together. Redford described the marriage as “life saving union” that helped him with his grief. Even today, the two remain very good friends despite he married another woman, Sibylle Szaggars, in 2009.

Robert is 83 today and still active in the film industry. Some of his latest projects are Avengers: Endgame where he appears as both actor and director, and Omniboat: A Fast Boat Fantasia where he voiced the part of Lokia the Dolphin Monster.

Robert Redford is an example of what all a celebrity should be. Charming, talented, versatile, and caring.

Mom-to-be delivers the news of being pregnant to her husband with the help of the police

Moms-to-be seem to be very creative when it comes to delivering the news of their pregnancies to their loved ones and their families. We do understand the urge to give this aspect of the pregnancy that much attention, because at the end of the day, it’s a moment to cherish.

Nikki, a mom-to-be from Texas, decided to give her husband the surprise of his life, but in a way that will make you go ‘aww.”

Namely, she asked from a friend from the Police Department to take part in the prank she was about to pull on her hubby.

As the two were driving, the officer signed them to stop. Jarred, Nikki’s husband got worried because he had no idea why he was pulled over. However, the fact that he was an acquaintance with the officer came as a relief, but that didn’t mean he was going to be let off the hook if he did something wrong.

The officer approached the vehicle and greeted Jarred, saying, “How’s it goin’? I haven’t seen you in forever, man.”

Jarred greeted him back and then asked if there’s was something wrong, to what the officer said, “I gotta be honest. The reason why I stopped you is you have a child in the car with no child seat,” he said, pointing to an empty back seat.”

Jarred was now more confused than ever. “But I don’t have a child,” he said while looking at the officer with a puzzled look.

The officer than asked him if he was sure about it while Nikki was holding the pregnancy test in her hand. Jarred was so busy trying to convince the officer that it was all a mistake that he didn’t notice what his wife was showing to him.

“We do have a child in the car with no car seat!” Nikky said while giggling. “I think that means you’re a daddy, buddy,” the officer added.

Finally, this father-to-be realized what was going on. This truly was the best surprise ever.

But, it wasn’t over yet. The officer’s partner then handed Jarred a gift. There was a teddy bear inside with the message “Dad, see you on your birthday.” Yes, Nikki’s due date was her hubby’s birthday.

Source: Screencap via Nikki W/YouTube

Nikki decided to involve their officer friend Todd because he was in fact an important part of their life. The thing is that Jarred had been admitted to hospital in the last six months for panic and anxiety attacks and Todd was there to help.

“I actually met the officers in the video during a very traumatic panic episode in November 2016 and ever since he’s become a great advocate for my family and I,” Jarred said.

This video is beyond adorable. We wish the future parents only the best. Take a look at the surprise below.

7-year-old is left with a hole in his skull after a neighbor attacks him by hurling rocks at him

What was supposed to be a fun day at his friend’s house turned into a tragedy for 7-year-old Gavin Ludwick and his family.

The sweet boy was getting back home when he got viciously attacked by one of his neighbors, a man named Daniel Poulsen, 32, from Desert Hot Springs, California. Out of the blue, Poulsen started throwing rocks at Gavin thus hurt his head after which the boy fell on the ground and was left lying there until another neighbor noticed him. Alturo Delgardo rushed Gavin to the hospital where doctors discovered a hole in his head.

They had no idea what the outcome of the attack would be but knew things didn’t look good for the sweet and innocent boy who was attacked for no reason.

When the boy’s mother, Wendy, learned that her son was at the hospital and was told of the severity of the injuries, her first thought was that he was hit by a car. However, after she discovered what truly happened, she couldn’t believe her ears. Why would someone the family barely knew would do such a horrific thing?

“When I first saw him I thought he had been hit by a car,” Wendy told Sun Online. “I was in shock, I thought ‘why have they not stopped.’ I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch the footage. When I found out about it I was shocked and mad.”

NBC Palm Spring reported that the criminal complaint filed by the prosecutors said “the boy was left comatose due to brain injury or to suffer paralysis of a permanent nature.”

“I couldn’t believe someone would do this to such a sweet little boy, he [Poulsen] doesn’t even know Gavin, they have never had any interaction,” Wendy said. “He is lucky to be alive. He could have easily killed him.”

Gavin was first taken to Desert Regional Medical Centre but was later transferred to Loma Linda University Medical Centre. The boy had undergone a surgery, but his road to recovery would be a long one. Doctors believe it would take at least three months until the swelling of his skull decreases before they perform additional surgeries.

“He can’t talk yet but he can make babbling sounds. He can sit up now but is still very weak,” Wendy said. “It’s very upsetting, sometimes I just fall apart when they are doing procedures on him and I have to walk away. I sat with him and told him, ‘momma is not going to leave you, momma is here.’ I don’t think he will remember anything that happened and I hope he doesn’t.”

After this sad story spread, many people prayed for sweet Gavin. A GoFundMe Page has been set up. It says, “He’s amazing, loving and kind momma, Wendy Ludwick, just lost her husband to cancer a few months ago. She is now raising her two children alone, on a school teacher’s salary. Y’all, she is the kindest and best of us. Definitely one of our better angels and Gavin did NOT deserve this,” the page said. “…Thankfully, the attack was caught on a neighbor’s security camera. However, little Gavin is fighting for his life now and his future is unknown.”

The wrongdoer has since been arrested. This, however, isn’t the first time that he had done something like this. In fact, Poulsen had been arrested 15 times before and those charges include burglary, committing lewd acts in public, battery, resisting arrest and annoying and/or molesting a child younger than 18, but he was always declared mentally unfit to go through trial. Doctors are currently evaluating his mental state.

We pray Gavin would be able to get to his old life back after he goes through the much needed surgeries.
