This routine demonstrated by a sweet puppy and his owner melted everyone’s heart. It looked like an ordinary day where the daddy brought the doggy food and put it in the bowl and the pup was eagerly waiting for the last piece of food to drop so that he could start munching on his favorite meal. But, to everyone’s surprise, that is not exactly what happened.
The dog, no matter how hungry he was, knew there something that should be done before he started eating and it surprised everyone who got to see the video.
As the dad fell on his face to the floor, the puppy followed and the two started praying together. The dad thanked God for their food and the dog listened to him patiently. He said, “We are very grateful and appreciative for everything we have. Thank You, Lord, for everything.”
This wasn’t just a one time thing, but these doggy and his dad do it all the time.
It’s awesome how this owner taught his dog great manners.
You have probably stumbled upon the phrase “adopt, don’t shop” multiple times, and there is a reason animal lovers and advocates try to raise awareness of the importance of getting a rescue dog from a shelter. These creatures have a lot to give and feel the need to be loved as all they experienced early in life are either neglectful owners or the harsh reality of living on the streets.
Below are 15 before and after photos of rescue animals that are bound to make your day. Their transformation from scared and confused creatures into happy doggies is worth every aww you’ll make.
Take a look and enjoy, and don’t forget to share it with friends just to remind them that they can also make a change in a dog’s life!

Olympic skiier Gus Kenworthy, a year after he adopted a family of stray dogs
They say the home is where your heart is, and Robert Guthrie’s was at an old gas station that he turned into an incredibly stunning and cozy place to live.
When he informed his son how he was planning to buy the 100-year-old gas station and re-purpose it for living, the boy thought his dad had lost his mind.
But now, with a lot of hard work, dedication, and a touch of creativity, the 2,000-square-foot space resembles a perfect home. It can be described as an incredible mixture of the new and the old. Modern, but yet holding pieces of the past soul.
What Robert did was adding a roof deck, hydraulic-lift turned staircase, and a modern kitchen.
This man’s innovative ideas made us wonder how we never though of seeing a potential at old and seemingly unusable objects ourselves. But I guess it takes both a creative mind and a risk-taking personality to get involved into such project.
Many of the items that were once part of the Sinclair’s Gasoline now serve the purpose of ornaments that give special feeling when you are in the dining room.
The knobs of the kitchen’s cupboards are all car emblems that fit just perfectly with the modern elements.
The bathroom is turned into a classy one with black tiles and cars’ old headlights as a bathroom sconces. A gigantic typography art is a slight reminder of what this place once was.
The bedroom is spacious and cozy and the tailgate that hangs on the wall just above the bed gives it a flare of excitement.
Do you like the way this old gas station was turned into a spacious living space? I know I would be happy to live there.
As it turns out, a combination of the vintage and the modern is always a great idea.
Who doesn’t love dolphins? They are super cute, friendly, and lovable. Apparently, dogs love them too. Well, if we are to judge by this fearless dachshund who went overboard when he spotted one jumping out of the water.
This cute event took place at the Banana River, near Port Canaveral, Florida while Gracie was taking a boat trip with the family.
It was Gracie’s owner Tina who first shared the video of the unusual but sweet encounter between her dog and the dolphin, but it was later re-posted on the Kyoot Animals channel from “America’s Funniest Home Videos.” That’s when more people saw it and made it viral. Well, all for the right reasons. I believe you haven’t seen anything cuter in a long time.
The family explained how Gracie loves herding goats so when she spotted the creature coming out of the water, she felt like she should go after it and chase it, too.
“I think she was trying to herd the dolphin like she does our goats,” Tina wrote. “I think she wanted to play.”
Or, maybe Gracie was just mesmerized by the beauty and the uniqueness of her new ‘pal’ the dolphin.
Arriving at the shelter can be a traumatizing experience for many animals. That is why it’s crucial for the staff to be welcoming and friendly. It can help the confused souls get back on track easily and it will further help in placing them in nice forever homes.
When Meesha, a baby dog, ended up at BARSC Animal Shelter, she had to be spayed. That only added to the initial stress she suffered from being brought at a totally unfamiliar place. Luckily for her, there was someone who was there to provide comfort and show her that someone cared.
Dennis Moses is a surgical assistant who was part of the doctor’s team who operated on the dog. But his job didn’t end at the operating room. On the contrary, he always makes sure his patients are shown love once they are out of surgery.
“If you’ve ever had surgery, you wake up, and you’re not sure where you’re at,” Moses told The Dodo, “It’s a scary thing even for dogs and cats, especially being in the shelter and being that young.”
A volunteer showed the whole country how caring Moses really is when he spotted him rocking the sweet pup like a baby and put it on tape. He was giving her hugs and kisses as Meesha couldn’t stop whimpering. The video quickly gone viral and people agreed how what Moses did was beyond adorable.
Only a day after the video spread on the social media, Meesha found her forever home. The shelter wrote, “She was spayed yesterday morning. She is doing just fine for adoption today. The new family knows to be extra careful and keep her calm.”
Baby Meesha was coming off her anesthesia and was a little scared because her body felt so weird. BARCS Surgical Assistant Dennis Moses took her out into the quiet hallway to comfort her. One of our awesome volunteers just happened to be walking by to capture this sweet moment. Thank you to Dennis and all the staff who work long, tireless hours in the background of our shelter—saving lives and loving the animals. (Turn on the sound, it will melt your heart!)
If your kids grow up around a dog or any other pet, then you have no idea how lucky both you and your little ones are.
Having a pet means having a best friend for life. Except for being friendly, pets teach kids lots of valuable things, such as how to be responsible. Above all, animals are happiness and sharing your home with one means days filled with laughter and fun.
These are just a few of the benefits why you should give your child a resounding YES if they ask for an animal buddy.
1. Pets teach responsibility.
Getting a pet means making sure they are well taken care of. That includes feeding them on time and cleaning after them. If the kids get on the tasks of keeping the pets happy and clean, it means they will turn into responsible human beings.
2. Kids with pets have fewer allergies.
Some parents believe that exposing their newborn babies to animals is equal to exposing them to the animal’s dirt and bacteria. But few know that it actually helps in the early development of the little ones’ immune system. It also means that babies that are surrounded by pets early in life are less likely to suffer from allergies later.
3. Animals relieve stress.
Many animals, mainly dogs, are assigned to people in order to help them deal with trauma.
Whenever you feel pressured and stressed, service animals are there to provide you with comfort and take the negative feelings away.
Children who grow up around animals are experiencing less stress than those who don’t own a pet, so these kids grow up to be happier and healthier individuals.
4. Kids will get more exercise.
Keeping a pet, especially a dog, requires taking them for regular walks. This means the kids owning one get more exercise than the rest of their peers who don’t own a pet. Keeping themselves active helps children be healthier. It also reduces the risk of childhood obesity.
5. Kids become better readers.
Many kids struggle with their reading. In order to master this skill, one needs constant practice. However, as many feel embarrassed to read in front of other people, reading to their pets out loud results in having fun and improving literacy all at once.
6. Kids develop a sense of compassion.
By taking care of their pet, kids develop a sense of compassion. When the animal is not feeling well, let’s say, the little ones are there to give them belly rubs, kisses, hugs, and pat them on the head. This way they learn that treating others with kindness results in happy pets. This gives them feeling of satisfaction so they will treats humans the same way, with respect.
Some families are prevented from owning a pet because of allergies or other medical conditions.
But in case you decide to open the doors of you home and your heart to a sweet creature, you have to know it takes responsibility and you have to do your best to keep them happy and healthy.
We sometimes lose sight of the fact that every day we have a choice.
We can choose to connect to those around us, or we can choose to close ourselves off. Some days we may not feel like reaching out to others, but on days when we can, you never know just what may come of it.
We’re busy.
I know. I’m caught in that cycle, too. When I do get a moment to breathe and do something for myself, sometimes I just want the time to clear my mind and, blessedly, saynothing. There’s nothing wrong with that.
But during our more generous moments…
Maybe we could stretch ourselves a bit further — stretch to offer human warmth and conversation to someone who deserves it simply for being another person in our midst. Stretch to brighten someone’s day, knowing that maybe we’ll be turned down, and maybe we won’t. Stretch to keep ourselves open to the world and to other people, even if naysayers would have you believe it’s safer to stay tight and closed off. Stretch simply to tell the world that we won’t be automatons who use our energy and light only for the tasks required to survive but that we will be people who reallylive.
That’s what happened when Brooke Ochoa went to lunch by herself. She could have kept her gaze fixed to her phone, barely taking in the information from the environment around her. But she tuned in. She noticed people. She noticed Delores. And what came of that is truly beautiful. Enjoy.
“Today I Went to eat at a restaurant for lunch and I saw this elder lady coming from afar so I waited to hold the door for her, she was very thankful and sweet. She then told the waitress, “table for one”, so I waited and hesitated but then I walked over and said, “I’m eating by myself too would you like to have lunch together?” She was ecstatic! Come to find out she spent the last decade living with her mom who recently passed away and her aunt who recently was put into a nursing home, so she has been having a hard time being alone. We had a wonderful talk, and she just kept smiling and saying thank you for listening to me, which made me smile too! Her words healed my heart just as much as i healed her lonely one. By far the best decision I’ve made all year!!! Her name is Delores, and we will be having lunch every Thursday from now on.”
In times when we lose our faith in humanity someone generous and humble like Mohamed Bzeek restores it. Really, no words can describe this man’s selflessness and kindness, and when you’ll learn why, you will realize that not all heroes wear capes, some look like ordinary humans who do so much good for those in need that they deserve every praise.
Mohamed is a foster parent, but what is special about him is that he only fosters terminally ill children no one else is willing to take in.
Mohamed made helping these kids during their final days his life mission after he was diagnosed with colon cancer and had to go to the hospital and have surgery all by himself. When he showed up there, doctors asked about his family. Unfortunately, Mohamed’s wife passed away, and his son is handicapped, so he felt what it feels like to be petrified and have no one by your side.
He said how he doesn’t want any kid to feel the same.
Mohamed’s story is so touching that it makes all of us become better people than we are today and offer a helping hand to the most vulnerable ones. It’s because of people like him that this world goes round and turns into a better place. Mohamed’s deeds are a light in the darkness of many kids.
Inspired by a story in the LA Times, Margaret Cotts started a GoFundMe for Mohamed Bzeek and his foster children. Thankfully, many who gave this man a recognition for what he does supported him, and he can now take even better care of the ill children he fosters.
You should respect your elders. They have experienced a lot more than those of us who are younger, and you’d be surprised at how spry some of them still are – so you better not mess with the wrong person.
In this clip (which has been seen by more than a million viewers) a couple of boys are filming themselves skateboarding. Suddenly they see an elderly lady about to cross a crosswalk.
The man in the fancy car waits impatiently for the old woman to cross. He thinks things are moving too slow and gives a loud honk, but then the lady’s revenge makes me laugh so hard that I start crying.
The clip is probably staged – in other words not real – but that doesn’t make it any less funny.
This is a great example of why you should never mess with the elderly!
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you witnessed someone experiencing violence or hard time coping with their reality? When you think about it, I bet the first thing that comes to your mind is that you would act brave and try to help whoever the victim or the person in need of financial help is. But the reality is that situations like these often intimidate people. That leads to no reacting by our side, hoping someone else would eventually step up for the person in need.
Social experiments show exactly that. In this one, two guys secretly film a homeless man begging on a street in New York. Then, they send their friend to sit next to the homeless man and pretend to be homeless too.
What happens next will break your heart into a million pieces. The homeless man is treated with utmost disrespect, and even gets slapped by a police officer, but the fact people are cruel to him doesn’t stop him from being kind in return.
This video is a must watch, it will make us rethink how we treat those that are less fortunate than us.
If it inspired you to do good yourself, please share it with your friends.
A woman in Florida got help out of a dangerous situation from an unlikely source: Pizza Hut.
WFLA reported the story of Cheryl Treadway, a woman who escaped a hostage situation with the help of her cell phone and a local Pizza Hut.
On May 4, 2015, Cheryl Treadway of Highlands County, Florida, placed an order on her phone’s Pizza Hut app — a small hand-tossed pizza with pepperoni. Oh yeah, it also came with a note telling store owners that she was being held hostage and asking them to please send help.
Treadway and her children were being held at knifepoint by her boyfriend Ethan Nickerson. Upon receiving her order, the local Pizza Hut called the police, who arrived at her home and arrested the boyfriend.
While Treadway’s story has a happy ending, many others aren’t so lucky. According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 1 in 3 women (and 1 in 4 men) have been the victim of physical violence at the hands of a current or former intimate partner.
Treadway’s story brings to mind a chilling anti-domestic violence PSA that ran during this year’s Super Bowl.
The PSA features a woman on the phone with police, but acting as though she’s ordering a pizza.
The scenario in the PSA played out in real life and was shared on reddit by the 911 operator.
The National Domestic Violence Hotline has many resources for people stuck in an abusive relationship, including a safety planning tool.
The safety planning tool is really helpful for abuse survivors looking for a way out, and it includes details on the different types of plans, tips on how to leave an abusive relationship, and a guideline to some basic legal info.
While it might seem as simple as just leaving for those of us who aren’t stuck in those kinds of relationships, it’s nowhere near that easy for many abuse survivors.
This is why it’s so important for 911 operators, police officers, and all of us, really, to be able to read between the lines in these types of situations.
What if the Pizza Hut manager didn’t think to call 911 in Treadway’s situation? What if the operator in the PSA didn’t catch on to the caller’s message? Luckily, they did. Still, it’s important to know that not every warning sign will light up like a road flare. Sometimes, people are asking for help and we just might not be listening.
Thankfully, some out there are listening. And in doing so, they’re saving lives.
For centuries, people have claimed to be able to tell what someone’s personality is like, just by looking at a few basic physical features. Some believe that you can determine someone’s personality just by the length of their fingers! Some people find it very accurate and others think it’s a load of crap.
However, regardless of what your opinions may be, there used to be an entire area of science dedicated to things like this. Phrenology was used to analyze a person’s personality based on the measurements of their skull. Listed below are interpretations of what the shape of your nails may reveal about your personality:
1. The vertically long nail.
You’re probably a real romantic. Even-tempered with a strange but wonderful imagination. You can be a perfectionist and easily overwhelmed. You see the little things that few notice. People really love you. You get along with most people.
2. The broad-sided nail.
Unlike #1, you’re more short tempered. You are, however, a sharp, deep thinker. Even though you’re short tempered, people enjoy you for your straightforwardness. You can tell the difference between the truth and lies. That ability allows you to cut through the BS and offer the best advice. You don’t tell people what they want to hear, you tell them what they need to hear.
3 and 4. The “round-egg” nail.
You’re the endlessly happy one. You’re the pacifist. You’re the laid-back one. You enjoy doing things in a very unique way. You rarely go with the what the majority is doing. Even though you’re in touch with your feelings, you don’t often let them get the better of you.
5. The square nail.
You’re the gutsy one. You’re the one born a natural leader. You have a serious attitude that can put people off, but that makes your playful, good-natured moments all the more pleasant and fun for everyone around you.
6 & 7. The Triangular nail.
You’re the smart ones of the bunch. You’re typically innovative and brilliant when others demand perfection out of you. You often bring new ideas faster than most. People you meet are fascinated by you.
8. The almond nail.
You’re honest, friendly, and faithful. You’re polite but firm when it’s needed. People enjoy spending time with you because you find the good in them. You’re good at handling difficult situations.
9. The sword nail.
Last but not least, the sword nail. In your life, you’re often the tip of the sword. You’re ambitious. You work hard. You have your goals and you won’t stop until you meet them. You’re often well rounded and can handle tasks even far outside of your comfort zone. Your ambition is often contagious.

The Japanese observe the spring blossoms as a part of hanami – the appreciation of the transient beauty – but you don‘t need a deep, philosophical meaning to enjoy a leisurely stroll down these picturesque streets. And for those of us still in the icy grip of winter, they‘re a nice reminder of the coming spring.
Walking down such a street can be mesmerizing, but there are practical advantages, too. Apparently, tree-lined streets help with all sorts of heat-related urban problems, increase evapotranspiration (evaporation and transpiration from the Earth’s surface) and encourage walking and cycling.
This list is by no means complete, so if you have your own photos of beautiful streets, please add them – don’t be shy!

A lot of well-off people look at poor people with mistrust. They assume that people asking for money on the streets are delinquents or thieves on the lookout for anything they can get their hands on.
But in truth, people living in poverty often turn out to be more generous and empathic than those who live comfortable lives.
An example of this is a little boy named John Thuo. He lives in Nairobi, Kenya, where like many other poor kids, he used to beg for money on the streets.
John Thou used to spend his days on the streets of Nairobi, Kenya begging for money. It’s something that irrates many drivers, because they assume that the beggers are most likely thieves.
However, John Thuo proved that he’s not only not a thief, but he also has a heart of gold.
One day, the boy was out begging when he approached a car to ask for money. But when he looked inside, John was struck by something unusual he saw.
The driver of the car was hooked up to tubes and breathing oxygen out of a tank. The woman’s name is Gladys Kamande. She’s 32 years old, and she explained to John that her lungs had collapsed, so she couldn’t breathe properly and had to carry the oxygen tanks with her in order to stay alive.
John was shocked to realize that in spite of his poverty, there are people in the world who are worse off than he is—because they don’t even have their health.
Moved to tears, John offered Gladys all the money that he’d taken in that day and held her hand through the window.
A passerby noticed the incident, took some photos, and told the story on the internet. And within a few days, the story had gone viral and triggered a a chain of events that would change both John and Gladys’ lives forever.
After Gladys’ story spread, thousands of donations poured in. In total, kindhearted strangers contributed $80,000 to enable her to travel to India and receive treatment.
And how is John doing? Well, after all of the attention he received on social media, he was finally rescued from the streets and adopted into a loving home.
The woman who adopted him, Nissy Wambugu, also gave him the opportunity to start studying!
In the end, John’s gesture of kindness helped not just Gladys—but also gave him a mother and a home.
Please share this touching story with your friends and family. And let them know that sometimes all it takes for a miracle to happen is a little human kindness.
This Norwegian man who braved the freezing weather in order to save a duck trapped under the ice is our hero. He’s not wearing a cape, if you think of a hero of that kind. In fact he’s entering into the biting cold water half naked all for the sake of a cute duck’s life.
We guess it’s hard to watch him doing so without swooning, right?
He and his new pal look so cute together.
Some people call Langøien Karl the ‘King of Ducks’ and we believe the name suits him just perfectly.
Optical illusions are fascinating because they trick our brain into believing something that doesn’t really exist is there, or make us miss to perceive the obvious.
Below are some of the best illusions involving animals, and they are so entertaining that they will make you question the reality… and laugh.
You will definitely have to check each of them twice.
Most doors are hopelessly mundane, but they don’t have to be; they can also serve as meaningful symbols of portals between worlds or between different aspects of our lives. When we set out to create a list of beautiful doors around the world, we were surprised to find just how many truly amazing doors there are out there that have been decorated with beautiful craftsmanship and artwork.
The door is probably the single part of a building’s exterior that people will interact most frequently with, so if you want a building to look impressive up close, there’s probably no better way to do this than by having a beautiful door.
