Foster mom enters Walmart with her kids, but mutters “I’m sorry” when she can’t pay for her groceries

No matter how small or insignificant it may seem, each act of kindness goes a long way. The story of this kind-hearted young man named Nick Tate is the perfect example of that.

Nick works as a cashier at the local Walmart in Oklahoma and is known as a nice guy who is always ready to help people in need. This time, he stepped in for a foster mom who struggled to pay for her groceries. As the woman approached and handed him her card, it was obvious she was worried because she didn’t know whether she would be able to pay for what was in her cart.

Nick took the card, but it was declined. He tried a couple more times, but it didn’t work. As the place was crowded, the line already got long and customers were anxious to get to the register as soon as possible. In order to avoid for the foster mom to leave the store without her groceries, among which was a milk for her young child, Nick said it was okay and paid $60 from his pocket.

The mom said “I’m sorry” as she couldn’t believe what this young man did for her. She thanked him a thousand times as tears rolled down her face.

Soon, the word of Nick’s good dead spread around and reached to his boss. Nick thought he might be in trouble for helping, but he was wrong. His boss was very glad he showed compassion for a foster mother in need of help.

The community, who loves Nick and agrees he’s an example of everything a man his age should be, decided to nominate him for the local Pay It 4ward Award. A representative for the award appeared at Walmart while Nick was on the job to surprise him with the award. They told Nick that they were very proud of him and gave him $400.

Nick received a loud applause by his coworkers and many of the customers.

What many didn’t know is that Nick also works as a “soccer missionary” and travels to Honduras where he works with disadvantaged kids.

Nick truly is an inspiration. He’s a very special young man who’s doing all in his power to make a change in the world, and we believe he’s on the right track.

Newborn fawn gets close to a little girl – now, everyone calls her the “deer whisperer”

It’s not unusual for a lost cat or a dog to end up in someone’s yard, but when it comes to wild animals, we don’t get to witness something like that very often. Well, that is why this story of a baby fawn that wandered into a family’s yard is that special.

The Herrings were getting back home from a canoe trip and were looking forward to taking some rest from the busy and the fun day, but just as they got near their home, they spotted a fawn. The little one was probably lost, and the family expected from it to get scared from them and run away, but to their surprise, just the opposite happened.

The baby deer approached Maya, the family’s little daughter. The sight of the two getting so close and Maya petting the baby was an incredible to witness. We are so glad dad caught everything on tape.

Now, after the little ones had some bonding time together, everyone was aware it was about time for them to try and find the baby’s mother. So Maya and her family headed into the woods while the fawn followed. Finally, the baby found a comfortable place.

Maya’s dad, Brad, got back to the fawn to get it some food and water and the family checked on it the following day. It looked like the baby failed to track its mother, but none lost hope.

A couple of days later, the Herrings spotted a family of deer. A mom, a dad, and two fawns. They were certain one of them was Maya’s friend and they were glad the family was reunited.

Brad thought sharing the video of his daughter and the fawn would bring many smiles at many people, and he was completely right. More than 6.8 million people have seen the unique encounter.

7-year-old skater strikes a pose on the ice before stealing hearts with her marvelous performance

Isn’t it incredible that we sometimes get to witness young and talented movie stars or singers grow up right before our eyes? We get to see their beginning, breakthroughs, ambitions, successes and even failures.

If you are a fan of ice skating, you are very likely to have witnessed the rise of then 7-year-old Gia Kokotakis. Yes, she was that young when she started competing against girls as old as 14.

The incredible video of her performance is from 2009 LA Open Artistic, where Gia got the 3rd place. From then on, she only became better and better, and today, at the age of 18, she’s still competing professionally and is hoping to be part of the 2022 Olympics.

Little Gia’s performance started as soon as the melody of the song ‘You Raise Me Up’ filled the place. She confidently stood on one leg while keeping her head and her arms high. Needless to say, she resembled a true professional.

Spectators had a hard time believing such a young lady could show so much gracefulness as they saw her twisting and gliding around the ring.

With the chorus of the song, Gia showed a bold move; she leaped into the air, spanned, and then touched the floor in a perfect manner. It was obvious she put a lot of time and effort into this performance because every move was done flawlessly.

As the song came to an end, this talented girl slid forward with one knee on the ground and finished her performance. The crowd couldn’t stop cheering. Gia stole their hearts and took their breath away. It was enough evidence for her that she did everything right. That, and the fact that the video has since been seen more than 5 million times.

Gia continued skating. The year after her memorable performance, she took part in the La Jolla Open Preliminary Freeskate Competition, skating on the music of the soundtrack from the movie The Mask of Zorro. With this performance, Gia showed that she improved her moves even further. Although she was just eight years old, her name sounded familiar to those who were into ice skating.

This performance was worth the first place and the judges saw that.

Today, Gia is 18 years old and she still competes professionally. We honestly hope she will fulfill all her dreams, including the one about taking part in the Olympics. She skates with such passion, which not only didn’t fade away over the years but grew stronger, that she deserves only the best in the years to come.

A man who decided to take a trip into the deep forest of Ontario was left stunned by the amazing thing he experienced. He decided to take a rest and enjoy the mesmerizing nature around him. The tall trees, the fresh air, and the vivid green color of the grass make this place a true Heaven on Earth. Besides random humans who visit this place in hopes of finding their peace and tranquility away from the busy and crowded cities, it’s also a home of many animals. If you are lucky, they may even come out from their shelter and treat you with their presence.

That’s exactly what this man stumbled upon. He found himself in a middle of a fairytale-like scene surrounded by a gorgeous deer family. Him taking a loud bite of the apple he carried with him and munching on it was enough for the lovely creatures to appear and satisfy their curiosity of who could it be to visit their home. The most unusual thing was that the mother let her fawns approach the man. He was overjoyed to see the lovely family so close to him but had to hide his excitement and avoid any sudden movements that could frighten the animals.

He quickly tossed them pieces of his food which they were happy to try. Deer are not afraid of humans because in this forest they are protected by law and are used to having guests around occasionally.

This might be one of the most remarkable footage of human-animal interactions we’ve ever seen. It’s pure magic how the deer family got so close to the man who had his camera rolling and managed to catch the breathtaking encounter on tape.

If you ever have the chance to visit this forest just grab it, because it’s a once in a life time opportunity to share your lunch with magnificent creatures like deer.

Young and talented guitarist plays a masterful rendition of Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘The Sound of Silence’

Music is the universal language and everyone enjoys listening to it being played and performed by someone talented who lifts the whole experience to the next level.

Stephanie Jones is a young girl from Australia who excelled playing the guitar so well that now the whole world speaks of her touching and beautiful performances. Just recently, she stole the hearts of many with her rendition of Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘The Sound of Silence.’ The performance was a tribute to her mother for her birthday and it only added to the touching aspect of it.

Luckily, Stephanie was given the chance to make the most of her raw talent for music and instruments by attending one of the most prestigious music schools in Europe, the University of Music Franz Liszt. There, she works under Professor Thomas Müller-Peringunder.

At the moment, this incredible musician is pursuing the highest post-graduate degree, Konzertexamen.

Stephanie has performed other famous music pieces before, including “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen, and she has won many awards among which the Hannabach Guitar Competition, Fine Music Network Young “Virtuoso of the Year” Competition, and the Uppsala International Guitar Festival Competition.

Stephanie’s rendition of ‘The Sound of Silence’ has been seen over 1.2 million times. People are stunned by how talented she is and can’t wait to hear more from her, so they just go back to her Instagram account again and again waiting for some new rendition that will melt their heart.

This isn’t, of course, the first time for a musician to do a rendition of this famous hit. Many have done it in the past, including famous names in the industry. The song, however, seems to have some special magic that not many can spread to the listeners the way this girl does. Stephanie’s version is special because it’s an acoustic version and lets you feel the music beyond the lyrics.

With such talent and passion for music and the guitar, we are yet to hear of this young lady. Stephanie’s talent is truly one-of-a-kind.

Mom urges parents not to let anyone kiss their babies after her 1-year-old son ended up in hospital with life-threatening rash

Little kids and babies are the most adorable creatures on Earth, so it doesn’t really come as a surprise that we feel the urge to hug them and give them a kiss when we see them. The thing is that these souls are very gentle and fragile, and sometimes, the behavior we manifest around them can negatively affect them without us even being aware of that.

One mother from Grimsby, North Lincolnshire, UK spoke of the ordeal her 1-year-old son had to go through because of a kiss.

Demi Boswell took to the social media to share the story of how little Cohen ended up in the hospital with a severe rush after a person with a herpes gave him a kiss. His immune system couldn’t easily fight against the virus that spread on him so the rush covered all his body.

The worried mom wants everyone to know that herpes can be fatal to babies and pleads people not to kiss little children if they have cold sores. She hopes no other child should ever experience what Cohen did.

Thankfully, Cohen is now doing better.

“People might not want to see these photos but I think it’s important I show them,” she wrote. “Cohen got blue lighted to hospital with doctors already waiting to take him in.”

“Even if you can’t see a cold sore it could be underlying so you have no idea you have one. I kiss my boy on the lips every day all day but this has definitely opened my eyes now,” she added.

Next time you get around a little baby, please make sure to wash your hands before you touch them or kiss them. Their immune system is yet to develop so they are likely to catch viruses.

Mom announces birth of identical triplets by sharing a photo of her dyed placenta

Creating a life is something incredible all by itself, but creating more than one in a single body is a true miracle. A mom from Australia named Sammi Edes was over the moon when she learned she was carrying triplets. Her babies were identical and doctors said the odds of conceiving with identical triplets was one in 60,000 to one in 200 million pregnancies.

Although she was overjoyed by the thought of giving birth to three babies, Edes had her fears because she knew that carrying triplets wasn’t easy. And she was right. When she was in the 20th week of pregnancy, doctors told her how one of her babies wasn’t developing as the rest. Namely, Geoffrey and Hunter had the lion’s share, while Thomas was only getting a tiny portion of the oxygen, the blood, and the much needed nutrients.

Sadly, that meant that Thomas should be aborted, otherwise he could affect the growt of his siblings as well. That, however, wasn’t an option for Edes. She was determined to do all in her power to keep all her babies.

When she reached week 30, Edes gave birth to her miracle bundles of joy. They were all born healthy and this mom couldn’t wait to hold them in her arms.

Doctors were left in disbelief and couldn’t understand how Thomas managed to get to 30 weeks and 6 days. To show just how miraculous his survival really was, they painted Edes’ placenta with three different colors, each showing the amount of nutrients the babies were getting. It clearly shows just how little Thomas was receiving (yellow color) in comparison to his brothers.

The photo was soon shared by Edes and it caught the attention of people from basically the whole world.

“I thought I would share this picture with all of you guys as it’s something we as mums don’t really ever get to see and this is our babies’ lifeline when inside us. It’s pretty amazing to think that was keeping them alive,” the proud mommy wrote.

Robert Redford’s career of over 60 years isn’t due to his incredible acting skills and diversity of screen characterizations only, but his looks and his heart of gold as well.

To remain one of the best in the industry for so many years isn’t something many actors can be proud of, but for Redford, each and every film and project has been a huge success.

Besides being best known for roles in acclaimed films like ‘The Sting’ and ‘The Way We Were,’ Redford is also a director, entrepreneur, and producer. He’s the founder of the Sundance Institute and Film Festival in Utah. Back in 2014, Time Magazine placed him on the list Time 100, naming him one of the “Most Influential People in the World.”

Redford has always had a very special bond with his mother. She was someone he could always turn to and someone who believed in him unconditionally. During the Sundance Film Festival Utah Women’s Leadership Celebration in 2018, he said, “The one person who stood behind me was my mother,” and he meant that, because Martha Hart was the perfect mother.

“Why do I feel this strong connection to women?” he then asked. “I think it probably has to do with my mom.”

Redford would always describe her as an adventurous and a ‘glass-half full’ person. Sadly, she passed away when Redford was 18 years old, and he has been missing her ever since because she was that one special person in his life who always made it complete.

“She believed that all things considered, she just had faith that I had something in me that was going to turn out OK,” he told Womans World.

Redford feels extremely sorry she didn’t live to see his worldwide success as an actor, director, and mostly as a person committed to environmental causes.

“She had a hemorrhage tied to a blood disorder she got after losing twin girls at birth 10 years after I was born.” But she wanted a big family badly and got pregnant again despite being told that another pregnancy could be life-threatening.

With so many accomplishments under his belt, one would say that Redford’s life is perfect, which isn’t far from the truth to be honest. He, however, like most living beings has his regrets, one of which is that he never got to say “thank you” to his mom.

“I took [her] for granted because that’s the way kids were at that age,” Redford told Womans World. “My regret is that she passed away before I could thank her.”

After her death, Robert found comfort in marrying Lola Van Wagenen in 1958. At the time, he was just 22 years old and she was still a teenager. The two were married for 27 years and had four children together. Redford described the marriage as “life saving union” that helped him with his grief. Even today, the two remain very good friends despite he married another woman, Sibylle Szaggars, in 2009.

Robert is 83 today and still active in the film industry. Some of his latest projects are Avengers: Endgame where he appears as both actor and director, and Omniboat: A Fast Boat Fantasia where he voiced the part of Lokia the Dolphin Monster.

Mom-to-be delivers the news of being pregnant to her husband with the help of the police

Moms-to-be seem to be very creative when it comes to delivering the news of their pregnancies to their loved ones and their families. We do understand the urge to give this aspect of the pregnancy that much attention, because at the end of the day, it’s a moment to cherish.

Nikki, a mom-to-be from Texas, decided to give her husband the surprise of his life, but in a way that will make you go ‘aww.”

Namely, she asked from a friend from the Police Department to take part in the prank she was about to pull on her hubby.

As the two were driving, the officer signed them to stop. Jarred, Nikki’s husband got worried because he had no idea why he was pulled over. However, the fact that he was an acquaintance with the officer came as a relief, but that didn’t mean he was going to be let off the hook if he did something wrong.

The officer approached the vehicle and greeted Jarred, saying, “How’s it goin’? I haven’t seen you in forever, man.”

Jarred greeted him back and then asked if there’s was something wrong, to what the officer said, “I gotta be honest. The reason why I stopped you is you have a child in the car with no child seat,” he said, pointing to an empty back seat.”

Jarred was now more confused than ever. “But I don’t have a child,” he said while looking at the officer with a puzzled look.

The officer than asked him if he was sure about it while Nikki was holding the pregnancy test in her hand. Jarred was so busy trying to convince the officer that it was all a mistake that he didn’t notice what his wife was showing to him.

“We do have a child in the car with no car seat!” Nikky said while giggling. “I think that means you’re a daddy, buddy,” the officer added.

Finally, this father-to-be realized what was going on. This truly was the best surprise ever.

But, it wasn’t over yet. The officer’s partner then handed Jarred a gift. There was a teddy bear inside with the message “Dad, see you on your birthday.” Yes, Nikki’s due date was her hubby’s birthday.

Nikki decided to involve their officer friend Todd because he was in fact an important part of their life. The thing is that Jarred had been admitted to hospital in the last six months for panic and anxiety attacks and Todd was there to help.

“I actually met the officers in the video during a very traumatic panic episode in November 2016 and ever since he’s become a great advocate for my family and I,” Jarred said.

It’s no secret that we all love watching Jason Bateman on the screen. He’s charming, talented, and looks like a modest guy, despite being a celebrity and very successful at what he’s doing.

Among the rest, Bateman has won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor- Television Series, for his impeccable performance as Michael Bluth on the television sitcom Arrested Development, and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for Reparations.

However, many may not know that this actor’s career started when he was very young and played the role of James Cooper, an orphan boy adopted by the Ingalls family in Little House on the Prairie.

These iconic series that we all eagerly waited was a breakthrough for Bateman. Ever since, his acting career, and later his career as a director, has taken off. Today, he’s one of the most famous actors.

Bateman has been married to actress Amanda Anka since 2001 and they have two children.

During his teenage years, Bateman played in many shows, Silver Spoons, The Hogan Family and Teen Wolf Too.

Throughout his rich career, Bateman moved from playing mostly in sitcoms and comedies, to more serious works such as that of Ozark and The Outsider. Many agree that his shift from one genre to another was seamless and smooth, and that showed just once again how great Bateman truly is.

7-year-old is left with a hole in his skull after a neighbor attacks him by hurling rocks at him

What was supposed to be a fun day at his friend’s house turned into a tragedy for 7-year-old Gavin Ludwick and his family.

The sweet boy was getting back home when he got viciously attacked by one of his neighbors, a man named Daniel Poulsen, 32, from Desert Hot Springs, California. Out of the blue, Poulsen started throwing rocks at Gavin thus hurt his head after which the boy fell on the ground and was left lying there until another neighbor noticed him. Alturo Delgardo rushed Gavin to the hospital where doctors discovered a hole in his head.

They had no idea what the outcome of the attack would be but knew things didn’t look good for the sweet and innocent boy who was attacked for no reason.

When the boy’s mother, Wendy, learned that her son was at the hospital and was told of the severity of the injuries, her first thought was that he was hit by a car. However, after she discovered what truly happened, she couldn’t believe her ears. Why would someone the family barely knew would do such a horrific thing?

“When I first saw him I thought he had been hit by a car,” Wendy told Sun Online. “I was in shock, I thought ‘why have they not stopped.’ I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch the footage. When I found out about it I was shocked and mad.”

NBC Palm Spring reported that the criminal complaint filed by the prosecutors said “the boy was left comatose due to brain injury or to suffer paralysis of a permanent nature.”

“I couldn’t believe someone would do this to such a sweet little boy, he [Poulsen] doesn’t even know Gavin, they have never had any interaction,” Wendy said. “He is lucky to be alive. He could have easily killed him.”

Gavin was first taken to Desert Regional Medical Centre but was later transferred to Loma Linda University Medical Centre. The boy had undergone a surgery, but his road to recovery would be a long one. Doctors believe it would take at least three months until the swelling of his skull decreases before they perform additional surgeries.

“He can’t talk yet but he can make babbling sounds. He can sit up now but is still very weak,” Wendy said. “It’s very upsetting, sometimes I just fall apart when they are doing procedures on him and I have to walk away. I sat with him and told him, ‘momma is not going to leave you, momma is here.’ I don’t think he will remember anything that happened and I hope he doesn’t.”

After this sad story spread, many people prayed for sweet Gavin. A GoFundMe Page has been set up. It says, “He’s amazing, loving and kind momma, Wendy Ludwick, just lost her husband to cancer a few months ago. She is now raising her two children alone, on a school teacher’s salary. Y’all, she is the kindest and best of us. Definitely one of our better angels and Gavin did NOT deserve this,” the page said. “…Thankfully, the attack was caught on a neighbor’s security camera. However, little Gavin is fighting for his life now and his future is unknown.”

The wrongdoer has since been arrested. This, however, isn’t the first time that he had done something like this. In fact, Poulsen had been arrested 15 times before and those charges include burglary, committing lewd acts in public, battery, resisting arrest and annoying and/or molesting a child younger than 18, but he was always declared mentally unfit to go through trial. Doctors are currently evaluating his mental state.

We pray Gavin would be able to get to his old life back after he goes through the much needed surgeries.

Mother under influence of alcohol and drugs crashes car with five kids who were thrown out in the air, leading to their deaths

The lives of five innocent children were ended in one of the most horrific tragedies that has ever taken place in Prince George’s County. The 33-year-old mother, Dominique Taylor, who was behind the wheels was the only survivor. Despite her own children, London and Paris Dixon, aged 5 and 8, Richelle Ricks, 6, Zion Beard, 14, and Damari Herland, 15, also lost their lives. 23-year-old Cornell Simon who was in the front seat succumbed to his injuries a few weeks after the accident.

The tragedy took place at 5 a.m. on Northbound Rt. 301, just south of Point Bridge Rd, when the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica went off the road, crashed into trees, and then spun across a field.

First responders and police officers believed the driver suffered some sort of medical emergency and that was the reason why she lost control over the SUV, but it was far from the truth. The mother was under influence of alcohol and drugs at the moment her two kids and three other were killed. This news shocked the whole country and let them wondering how could a mother be so irresponsible as to drive under influence and lead that many souls to death.

Investigation showed that none of the children had a seatbelt on. That added to the reason why their bodies were ejected from the car.

Members of the Bowie community came together to mourn the tragic loss.

“I remember going out to feed the homeless and the little girls were pitching, ‘what can I put in this, I want to do this, I want to help,'” said the grandfather of one of the vicstims, Robert Herald Sr. “They were the only two little girls who got up early in the morning to feed the homeless. What can you say of humanitarianism at a young age? They were always looking out to help other people. That’s how my family is and that’s how our family will stay,” he added.

Governor Hogan tweeted how saddened he and the whole country were because of this tragedy. He said he was praying for all involved, including the first responders.

The accident happened in February of 2019, and Dominique was sentenced to 18 years in prison in March of 2020 after she had been charged and found guilty of six counts of manslaughter and six counts of negligent homicide by motor vehicle or vessel under the influence of alcohol.

Woman finds perfect ornament for $2 in thrift shop, turns out it is urn with ashes

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure they say, and the truth is that we can never know how valuable something that we no longer need can be to somebody else. Well, that is the reason why people do garage sales or shop at second-hand stores.

A woman named Priscilla Bailey of Massachusetts visited the local thrift shop hoping to get some Christmas accessories at a nice price. The thing is that she did find something quite cheap, yet truly special there; an ornament with markings that resembled angels or vikings. Anyway, Bailey believed this $2.99 piece was “really beautiful” and that it would fit her decorations just perfectly. On top of that, she loved the way it caught light where it was hanged.

After inspecting the blue ornament closely using a flashlight, Bailey realized there was something moving inside of it. “It’s small. The two spots in it are small, the size of a golf ball,” she said.

When she found out the ornament was filled with a powdery substance, she realized it was in fact an urn with someone’s ashes.

And now, no matter how much she loves this unique ornament, she knows it belongs to someone else and is very valuable to them, so she’s doing her best to find the person it belongs to. She and her daughter shared the incredible story in hopes of returning it to its owner.

Parents forced to make a decision after they were told one of their quadruplets wasn’t developing like the rest

Many times in life we face situations in which we have to make decisions. We may never know whether what we choose is good or bad at the moment, but we just follow our gut feeling and hope for the best. It is exactly what Ivanna and David Cardenas Gutierrez did when they were told something shocking about their unborn babies.

Namely, this couple was over the moon when they learned they were expecting a child. They did prepare for the new life that awaited them, but nothing could prepare them for the surprise the ultrasound revealed. They weren’t expecting one baby, but four.

Although this came as a shock at first, the parents-to-be were looking forward to meeting their quadruplets.

However, when Ivanna was in the 27th week of the pregnancy, doctors told them some devastating news. One of the babies wasn’t getting enough oxygen so they were given a choice. Either let the pregnancy progress, which meant that one baby would likely die, or go through an emergency c-section and deliver all the four babies prematurely. That had it’s own risks as well, because it meant the little ones would had to spend some time at the hospital and their survival rate would be around 40%.

Ivanna and David didn’t hesitate before they decided to have the babies right away and do their best to save all of them.

Luckily, this decision was the best this couple has ever made. Their four miracles were delivered safely and they were all doing perfectly fine.

Today, the quadruplets, Francesca, Sebastian, Julian, and Gabriel are six years old and they make their parents’ lives happy. Ivanna and David are glad they did the right thing and managed to save Gabriel’s life.

We wish them a lot of happiness and a bunch of incredible moments in the years to come. What a beautiful family!

Nurse dresses prematurely born baby in a Superman cape, parents are left speechless by the thoughtful act

Michelle Campbell and Chris Korres couldn’t wait for their first child to be born. To their surprise, the big arrival of sweet baby Benjamin happened two months before expected and that meant he had to spend some time in the hospital, at the neonatal unit.

The new parents were perfectly aware that premature babies may not develop at the same pace as babies born around their due date, but they weren’t really concerned as long as their son was doing perfectly fine.

Doctors were satisfied at the rate Benjamin developed and after two months under their care, he was finally ready to go home with his mom and dad who were eagerly waiting to hold him.

A couple of days before he was discharged, Michelle and Chris went to check on their boy when they noticed something very unusual. Benjamin was dressed in a tiny superman cape with the letter B instead of an S. There was a note attached on the bed saying, “To our little superhero, all the love from Stephanie T”.

These parents were so deeply touched by this incredible gesture that they couldn’t contain tears of happiness from rolling down their faces. The only mystery around this gift was who was Stephanie.

After they asked around, they learned that Stephanie was a nurse at a neonatal unit in charge of Benjamin and the rest of the premature babies. This devoted nurse has worked at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal for a year and during that short amount of time she changed the lives of many babies and parents by showing them how much she cared.

In fact, she had made around 100 capes for that many tiny superheroes.

“It brings a smile to the parents’ faces in a time that’s not so good so it was really special for us to have gotten that,” Michelle told Metro.

Since then, Benjamin is home and is doing great. He truly is a superhero who is developing as though he wasn’t even born prematurely. He’s super cute and makes his mom and dad extremely happy.

Stephanie is just another example of how important doctors, nurses, and all medical professionals are. They are always there to provide help and they often go above and beyond for the well-being of their patients.

Mom heartbroken after stillbirth – now warning parents over a mistake that could’ve been avoided

Holding their bundle of joy in their arms is something every parent-to-be dreams of. Brooke, a 27-year-old mother is not any different. She and her husband Elliot were looking forward to welcoming their second child into the world, but then, when this mom was in the 36th week of pregnancy, something devastating happened.

Brooke was diagnosed with heavy haemorrhage and she lost 1.7 litres of blood. She did fear for her life, but it was nothing compared to her worry for her unborn child.

Sadly, the ultrasound showed that the sweet baby didn’t show any signs of life. This mom’s heart broke into a million pieces and she was the one who shared the devastating news with her husband. Elliot was heartbroken as well. He fell to the ground and couldn’t believe he would never get to meet his baby.

“My heart was broken. I looked at the ultrasound screen and could see the lifeless body of the baby inside me. It’s an image I can never erase from my mind,” Brooke said, according to Spanish site Viralista.

Despite her grief, Brooke gathered strength to share her story with the rest of the world. She did this because she believes a mistake had been done and it could have been easily avoided. She doesn’t want any other parent to ever experience the pain she and her husband felt.

Namely, this grieving mom explained how she suffered a placental abruption, meaning the wall of her uterus came off partially. That caused her to bleed and stopped the supply of oxygen to the baby. It was later determined how Brooke suffered from genetic coagulation disorder known as Factor V Leiden which could be easily detected by a simple blood test.

Brooke is now urging future mothers to always ask for such test to be done during their pregnancies.

His charm, charisma, and incredible talent stole the hearts of many and he made fans in each and every country in this world. Dubbed “The King of Rock and Roll,” Elvis’ work and music continues to live long after his death and will likely remain popular among many future generations.

He met the love of his life, his beautiful ex-wife Priscilla when she was just 14 years old during a serendipitous encounter in Bad Nauheim, Germany.

Priscilla was just a baby when her father James Wagner who was a pilot in the Navy lost his life. Sadly, he never got to meet his beautiful baby girl. Eventually, Priscilla’s mother re-married to Air-Force officer Paul Beaulieu who became a father figure and a very important person in Priscilla’s life. Because of the nature of his job, the family was forced to move from base to base every two or three years.

Priscilla said of those times how she was a shy girl who didn’t want to make many friends because she knew they would move places, so she didn’t feel like getting close to people who wouldn’t likely remain a part of her life.

It was when the family moved to Germany that she first met Elvis Presley.

It looked like The King knew this girl was the love of his life the moment he laid eyes on her. Priscilla is a grandmother to four grandchildren. Sadly, her grandson Benjamin Keough died of suicide on 14th of July 2020. Lisa Marie Presley was said to be left completely heartbroken. Her manager Roger Widynowski told TMZ, “She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11 year old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”

Today, Priscilla is 75 and still looks very beautiful. She has confessed, however, that her looks is young and fresh thanks to the plastic surgeries. Even now, the ex of The King is working on keeping his legacy life.

Woman called “Purple People Eater” because of her birthmark undergoes surgery

How do we learn not to judge a book by its cover? Sadly, based on a woman named Kiana Smith, we don’t. Being different for whatever reason can make many see the person as an outcast and as though they don’t belong anywhere, and that’s devastating beyond words.

When she was welcomed into the world, Kiana’s parents and her doctors couldn’t help by notice the most unusual birthmark ever. The distinguishing feature spread on a significant portion of the girl’s face and her chest.

As time passed by, her birthmark only grew bigger and bigger and that caused her a lot of trouble while growing up. Many of Kiana’s schoolmates didn’t show any understanding for her looks. Instead, she had been called names and bullied. She remembers how those who were supposed to be her friends used to call her “Purple People Eater.”

Over time, she learned how to love herself for who she is and had undergone a number of procedures that would help her reduce the birthmark and feel better about herself. Speaking of her condition, Kiana said how she could feel the blood flow and pump around her birthmark. It was so huge that even her speech was impeded.

“The surgeries of my birthmark have helped so much. I mean I don’t have this bulk on my face,” Kiana said.

Teenage waitress goes viral for helping an elderly man cut his food

Young people are considered careless by many. That is why we are somehow ‘shocked’ when we hear of teenagers doing good things and impacting the society in a positive way. I believe that stories depicting the good at young people should be shared further, because that’s the only way to fight the stigma that surrounds this group of people. Just like this story we are about to share with you.

Evoni Williams is a very special young girl. This 18-year-old teen works behind the counter at at Waffle House in Houston. But she doesn’t do her job for the sake of getting paid only, but because she loves making people happy by serving them their favorite food.

Recently, a woman named Laura Wolf noticed Williams doing something extraordinary. Namely, an elderly gentleman entered the place and ordered something to eat, but Williams then noticed how he struggled cutting his ham. Yes, the man was very fragile and didn’t even have the strength to cut his food. Williams didn’t think twice before she offered to do that for him.

“This may seem small, but to him, I’m sure it was huge,” Wolf wrote.

“I’m thankful to have seen this act of kindness and caring at the start of my day while everything in this world seems so negative.”

The fact that the photo was shared over 40,000 times speaks of the need of people to hear positive things taking place during these hard days for the humanity.

What’s most, the photo took the attention of Texas Southern University School who were so deeply touched by William’s deed that they offered her a scholarship worth $16,000.

This was like a wish come true for Williams whose biggest dream was to attend university after she graduated from High School. She was in fact working at the time in order to save up some money for her studies. But now her pure soul and her heart of gold brought her this scholarship that was about to change her whole life.

“I didn’t know the photo was taken until a couple hours later,” Williams told the Houston Chronicle. Regarding all the praise she got, this humble girl says that she only did what everyone else would do for someone in need of help. “When I saw it, it’s just something I would do for anybody.”

6-year-old almost dies from ingesting BBQ brush bristle while eating burger

It’s summertime! For most families all over the world that means firing up the grill and having burgers for dinner. The Fiore family was enjoying this typical summer evening just like so many others but things turned bad quickly.

Their 6-year-old son Anthony took a bite of his burger and got sick immediately.

He was rushed to the hospital and the family was told how Anthony had swallowed a tiny wire from the brush used to clean the grill.

“We knew something was wrong and he was in extreme pain because he was crying.From the time we had dinner to the time we had surgery, it was about 12 hours later, because our journey started at the local hospital, and then we were transported to SickKids,” Anthony’s mother, Nadia said.

There is not a surefire way to remove metal wires from human’s throats, but the surgeons were finally able to dislodge the metal wire. I can’t imagine the task would have been easy! It would be like removing a splinter, a not so easy task.

Doctors kept a close eye on Anthony to make sure he didn’t develop a throat infection.

The doctor has encountered more than his share of patients that need these brush bristles removed. If untreated the results could be fatal.

Father dies after rescuing drowning son during family vacation – Rest in peace

A holiday at the beach turned into a tragedy for a Mississippi family after the father lost his life while saving his son from drowning. The horrific incident took place on July 22 in Sandestin, Florida.

The man in question is William Nichols, director of Desoto County’s Search and Rescue unit. According to reports, rip currents caught the young boy off guard and Nichols rushed to save him, but things took the wrong turn. So after he managed to get his son to safety, Nicholas was pulled back by the currents.

People who were vacationing there and witnessed the incident rushed to help and got some paddle boards into the water but the currents were way too strong for something to be done.

Sadly, this hero of a father died and his lifeless body was taken off the water some 30 minutes after he disappeared.

Nicholas was an excellent swimmer and new the waters. However, beach-goers usually rely on flags to determine the safety of the water, and this private beach didn’t have any flags.

“We have no words to express our devastation,” wrote the Walton County Sheriff’s Department on their Facebook page. “Our hearts go out to his family and our brothers and sisters in Desoto County. Rest In Peace, brother. We have the watch.”

We are very sorry for the loss. Rest in Peace Nicholas. You are a hero!

The mom said “I’m sorry” as she couldn’t believe what this young man did for her. She thanked him a thousand times as tears rolled down her face.

Nick received a loud applause by his coworkers and many of the customers.

A couple of days later, the Herrings spotted a family of deer. A mom, a dad, and two fawns. They were certain one of them was Maya’s friend and they were glad the family was reunited.

He quickly tossed them pieces of his food which they were happy to try. Deer are not afraid of humans because in this forest they are protected by law and are used to having guests around occasionally.

Music is the universal language and everyone enjoys listening to it being played and performed by someone talented who lifts the whole experience to the next level.

At the moment, this incredible musician is pursuing the highest post-graduate degree, Konzertexamen.

One mother from Grimsby, North Lincolnshire, UK spoke of the ordeal her 1-year-old son had to go through because of a kiss.

Thankfully, Cohen is now doing better.

When she reached week 30, Edes gave birth to her miracle bundles of joy. They were all born healthy and this mom couldn’t wait to hold them in her arms.

To remain one of the best in the industry for so many years isn’t something many actors can be proud of, but for Redford, each and every film and project has been a huge success.
