Life can be so cruel at times. One day, we have it all, the next, our world collapses and we are left to cope with the harsh reality that we are no longer the people we used to be.
45-year-old João Coelho Guimarães from Brazil lost his home some ten years ago and has been living on the streets of Goiânia ever since. He has had a rough life and is struggling to make a living by collecting cans around town.
However, one serendipitous encounter changed it all for this kind man. Namely, as he was passing by a clothing shop and a barbershop owned by Brazilian country singer Alessandro Lobo, Guimarães enter the place and asked for a razor so that he could trim his beard. That’s when the owner and the employees came up with the idea to give him a makeover.
Guimarães was given a fresh haircut and brand new clothes, including a jacket, three shirts, a pair of pants, and a pair of shoes. He looked like a totally different person and Lobo was so glad Guimarães liked his new looks that he decided to share the transformation on his Instagram account. Believe it or not, it led to something truly incredible.
As it turned out, Guimarães’ family haven’t heard from him in years, which led them to believe he was dead. When Lobo’s photo reached to them, they couldn’t believe their eyes.
“They saw the photo and contacted me and, as he has neither a telephone nor a fixed address, tomorrow we will go through the neighborhood to try to find him,” Lobo explained at the time.
The reunion was a heartwarming one. Guimarães’ sister invited him to live with her and her family, but he refused the offer. “João is still on the streets. His sister wanted to welcome him and take him home, but he didn’t want to. He said that on the streets, he feels free. That’s why he didn’t want to go home,” Lobo explained in an Instagram post. “We thank God and all of you for making us instruments of this exciting moment. 2020 was a year of many losses for loved ones around the world, and in the midst of all this a [relief] for this family.”
We always say how dogs are the most loyal creatures that have ever entered our lives. Sadly, we can’t say that we as humans have always returned that loyalty back. The great number of stories of owners who leave their furry pals behind is a proof that we can never love dogs as much as they love us, and that makes me really sad.
Now, amid the coronavirus crisis, we witness even more incidents of animals being dumped as many people can’t afford to take care of them. The story of a lovely Pit Pull named Lincoln is such a case.

Lincoln’s owner had to leave his Orlando home in order to be with his family during the pandemic, so he though the best thing to do was to tie Lincoln to a neighbor’s tree hoping they would help him find another home. When the neighbors woke up in the morning and saw the tied Pit Bull with a muzzle on and a note by his side, they were confused. The note read, “I am leaving to California to be with my mother and brother during this pandemic. Please take care of Lincoln or find him a good home. I trust you with my baby. I’m sorry.”

The neighbors couldn’t keep Lincoln, but they reached to an animal rescue organization, The Pittie Party of Central Florida (TPPCF). One of the volunteers there, Mayson Jones, brought Lincoln home.
She knew Lincoln would be sad without his owner by his side, so Mayson made sure she kept him busy at all times. They played fetch, took long walks, and did a bunch of fun things together.

Putting Lincoln up for adoption was quite impossible because of the situation with the coronavirus, so the rescue organization was looking for someone to foster him until they find a way to find him a forever home.
That’s when Melanie Anderson stepped up. Lincoln’s foster family owns a boat so he gets to enjoy the sun while sailing with these people who spoil him rotten.
Hopefully, Lincoln’s new forever family will own a house with a huge yard as he enjoys running and playing. He’s getting along pretty well with other dogs, but not cats. So if you think you’d be the perfect person for him, please contact the shelter.

The rescue, TPPCF, is having hard times looking after all the animals at their shelter at the moment as the number of pets surrendered because of the pandemic is huge and the number of foster families and adopters declined. “We are in crisis mode with the amount of people who have abandoned their dogs because of unemployment and the uncertainty of what is around the corner. Shelters are being forced to euthanize dogs at a devastating rate. Individuals are abandoning their dogs on the streets after many shelters are denying intakes. WE ARE COMMITTED TO SAVING AS MANY OF THESE DOGS AS PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP,” they posted on Facebook.

Foster families will be provided with all necessities around the animals and the expenses for taking care of the dogs will be covered. “There is no way we would ever be able to do what we do without the dedication and commitment from foster families. These individuals are the true heroes in rescue!”

The life of the stray animals is harsh. These poor souls are not only forced to look for food every single day, but they are also struggling to find suitable shelter during the cold days in the winter and the unbearable heat during the summer.
One thing we can all do in order to make their days at least a bit easier is to place food and water where we see them staying most often.

The owners of the Istikbal Mobile furniture shop in Turkey went an extra mile for the strays who are spending their days in front of their store and gained the fondness of a huge number of animal lovers from all over the world.
Namely, a man named Dr. Cem Baykal would often pass by the store and stop by to pet the dogs and even leave some food. One day, however, he noticed a heart-melting sight. Instead on the ground, the dogs were lying on a brand new mattress.

“The owner of this shop puts one of the beds (with a plastic cover on it) in front of the shop,” Baykal told The Dodo. “This bed may be the one they sell that day or it may be one of the incoming ones.”
“These two stray dogs lay and sleep there every time.”
Baykal added that the store owners always go above and beyond for the strays and leave water outside during the hot days.
“This street is known as a rich area and everyone gives food or water to the local dog and cats, but no one supplies quality bedding to them normally,” Baykal explained. “This shop does.”
What a beautiful and thoughtful thing to do for someone in need of help.
Being a mother takes a lot of sacrifice. From the moment the little bundle of joy is welcomed into the world, they become the center of their parents’ world and everything revolves around them.
However, being a working mother is even harder. Between changing diapers, running errands, doing the laundry, and a bunch of other commitments, many mothers, as well as dads, have to either work or attend college. This is true for a young mom named Karen Cunningham.
Karen is a biology graduate student and lives in student housing with her husband Steve, who is a mathematics teacher, and their baby daughter Katie.

Although Steve is in charge of the little one while Karen is at the lab, she is sometimes forced to take her daughter with her at the MIT university that she attends. Speaking to The Washington Post, Karen says: “It really was a little stressful to have the world shut down in the middle of our pregnancy, then give birth knowing we were going on this big adventure without all of the infrastructure we needed.” Because of the pandemic, the school’s day care had to be shut down and that made things even more complicated for these parents.
But, you know what they say, it takes a village to raise a child, and Karen has her own “village” that stepped in for her and baby Katie.
Namely, one of her professors, Troy Littleton, understands just how important school is for Karen and other young moms who attend his classes and he’s going above and beyond to make things easier for them. This time, as they couldn’t throw a baby shower for Karen because of the pandemic, he decided to place a crib inside his office. “We couldn’t have a shower for Karen due to the pandemic, but we all agreed that a portable crib would be the perfect gift,” the thoughtful professor said.
This way, whenever Karen is forced to take Katie with her, she leaves her in the office with professor Littleton so she could work in the lab.

“Child care in any profession is a challenge, but in science, it can even be more challenging,” Littleton said. “Experiments don’t always fit a 9-to-5 schedule. It just made sense for Karen to bring Katie in.”
Once the story about Karen and professor Littleton went viral after a photo of the crib was posted online, this incredible man received the praise of a huge number of people who couldn’t help but comment. Once person wrote: “So much better than when I was told to bring my baby in a backpack and put the backpack on the floor while I did experiments with carcinogenic agents.”
“Still a postdoc, but will definitely be doing this if I ever make it to your side of the desk! Well done!” someone else added.
“I’m glad it had that effect because we need to be solving these issues, both in academia and on a broader level as well,” Littleton told Good Morning America.
One thing is certain; we need more professors like Mr. Littleton who make a change in the lives of their students.
Although many accuse Meghan for her and Harry’s withdrawal from the royal duties and leaving Britain, it appears that Harry himself has had it enough of the royal life and all the pressure it brings.
During several occasions, Harry has spoken of the impact the press had on his mother, late Princess Diana, and went further to accuse them of her death. He certainly didn’t want the same for his wife and children and it was one of the reasons he and Meghan moved to California.

Princess Diana herself was very pressured by the media. They followed her every step of the way and were paying huge money for grainy photos of her. It has been revealed that at the time of her tragic death, the Princess was running away from the paparazzi, and that led to the accident which cost her her life.

One media personality Diana wasn’t fond of in particular was Oprah Winfrey. As revealed in the book Battle of Brothers by author Robert Lacy, the host made the Princess feel “very uncomfortable.” Quoting Simone Simmons, Diana’s friend and confidante, Lacy wrote: “Diana felt very uncomfortable with Oprah. She thought that Oprah was only after sensationalism – like when she interviewed Fergie about her book, and all she wanted to talk about was Diana.
“That laid bare for Diana the basic lack of respect that she felt Oprah had towards her subjects and how she was just manipulating her to garner higher ratings.”

Oprah has also been the reason why the relationship between the members of the Royal Family sort of broke down after she challenged the Sussexes to open up about the life at the Palace. A lot was revealed during the all-tell interview. Among the rest, Harry and Meghan spoke of her suicidal thoughts and the inability of the family to provide help, as well as about the concerns by one of the royals regarding how dark Archie’s skin could be.

Speaking of the infamous interview and why the Sussexes appeared to be bitter towards the family, a source told The Sun: “Harry and Meghan were very cross before Oprah because the final Megxit separation had just been signed off which included Harry not keeping military roles.
“That was what made him so angry. He’s very emotional and his military roles were very important to him given that he served.”
Many are still convinced that most of the things brought up during the interview were spoken in a state of anger and that Harry most likely regretted ever taking part in it. A source told Closer Magazine: “Harry was clearly hurt and angry about Meghan’s experience with the royals – and used the interview to get it out.
“But after returning home, I’ve no doubt he’s been feeling embarrassed, regretful and awkward.

The good thing is that the brothers have been reunited for the unveiling of their mother’s statue on what would have been her 60th birthday. They were seen chatting and walking shoulder-to-shoulder so we hope they had the time to talk things through and put all their differences aside.

The Legaly Blonde star opened up about the period during the filming of Wild and told Tracee Ellis Ross in Interview magazine that being all alone in front of the camera triggered panic attacks at her.
“I had hypnosis, I was so scared, I was having panic attacks for three weeks before I started,” Witherspoon recalled. “There was the nudity, sexuality, and drug-use aspect, but also being alone on camera with no other actors. I hadn’t ever been alone in scenes for days and days.
“There were probably 25 days of the shoot where I had no other actor opposite me. It was just me and a camera and a backpack. I was like, ‘Is this going to be so boring?’”

Despite her personal struggles, Withesrspoon delivered an incredible performance and many believe she was robbed of the Oscar win.
“I don’t know if I’ll ever work that hard again, but it changed me on a cellular level,” Witherspoon added.

Witherspoon is considered the good girl of Hollywood. Despite being a famous actress, she’s also a mother, a producer, and an entrepreneur. She has been married twice. The San Francisco Zoo shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of America’s oldest chimpanzee, Cobby. “Our hearts are broken with this devastating loss,” the press release by the CEO and Executive Director of San Francisco Zoological Society, Tanya M. Peterson, read.
The life of this incredible animal was rich and he was surrounded by people and caretakers who loved him unconditionally. Cobby, who was 63 at the time of his death, which is past the life expectancy of male chimpanzees, was a true legend of the zoo.
He was described as a gentle soul and as a leader who helped many new animals of his kind get used to the life at the zoo. “Cobby [was] the respected elder who was able to bring together this newly formed group,” the zoo wrote in their press release.
The beautiful animal was a performing chimp raised by humans before he became part of the zoo during the 1960’s.
“Cobby was both a charismatic and compassionate leader of our chimpanzee troop. For so many years, he was a protective companion, demonstrating patience and resilency. He also was a favorite of visitors and staff, recognizing so many of us.”
His passing left a huge void in the hearts of the caretakers, the visitors, and his two best friends, the female chimps Minnie and Maggie.
“He was one of the first animals whom I personally knew as Director,” Tanya M. Peterson said. “His death will be felt deeply by our staff, many of whom cared for him for decades.”
“Cobby was part of San Francisco,” Peterson added. “He touched so many lives, and people have so many memories of him. He is irreplaceable, and our hearts are broken. We will all miss seeing his handsome grey beard watching over us from the top platform of the yard.”
The exact cause of death remains unknown, but Cobby had health issues and probably died of old age. He was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by many. Rest in peace, Cobby!
In the past, the treatment of animals, both wild and stray, was poorer than it is today. While humans didn’t care of the well-being of the creatures we share this planet with, nowadays, with the hard work of animal loves and advocates, as well as numerous animal rights organizations, animals are given all the rights to live the lives they deserve.
A number of countries are passing laws which prevent wild animals from being part of circuses, and the punishments regarding animal abuse and neglect become more severe with each passing year.
Recently, Florida’s governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill which will allow first responders to treat and transport injured K9 officers. It will go into effect starting from June 1, 2021.
Up until now, medics were forbidden from helping K9 dogs, and luckily, that’s about to change.
According to First Coast News, the medical personnel involved in helping and treating K9s will be exempt from criminal or civil liability, and they will be allowed to transport injured canines to nearby hospitals and veterinarian offices.
In his speech, governor DeSantis said: “We all have a soft spot in our hearts for our four-legged friends. They’re really incredible, incredible friends. The police use K9s very effectively. These K9s use their unique capabilities to save lives and protect our communities in Florida. Sometimes, they are the first to put their lives on the line,” as reported by Fox 13 News.
We truly hope other states will follow this example and increase the chances of survival at K9 dogs injured during catching criminals and protecting their human partners.
Our dogs are our world! They are not just pets but members of the family and the only creatures who love us more than they love themselves. Having all this in mind, it’s truly heart-melting to see owners giving back to the dogs the same amount of love, friendship, and dedication.
Tom Antonino from Georgia had no idea that what he and his wife did for their dog, a Chesapeake Bay retriever named Cocoa, would become a story worth sharing with everyone on the Internet.
Namely, Cocoa reached 16 and had troubles walking and doing the things she used to enjoy doing, like taking long walks and running in the park.

However, her inability to walk didn’t prevent her human mom and dad from taking her with them wherever they went. So, how did they do it?
Well, Tom came up with the idea to construct a mobile bed for Cocoa. All he needed was an old bed, some tires, and a little knowledge on engineering.
“We had rope and a bed, and we’d bring her out,” Tom told WTKR.
The beautiful story of Cocoa and the love she received from her owners during her old days went viral when a woman named Carrie Copenhaver stumbled upon the dog and her family while they were taking her out to “enjoy the smells of the ocean.” Carrie snapped a photo and shared it on Facebook along with the caption: “I had to stop & express my love for his extraordinary care … compassion, kindness, love. I need more people like this in my life.”
In a matter of days, the photo was shared over 55,000 times and people were amazed by the treatment Cocoa received.
Tom, who doesn’t have a Facebook account, was stunned to learn that his pet became famous on the social media.
Sadly, Cocoa died of old age, but she had a life worth living, surrounded by people who went above and beyond to make her days enjoyable. Rest in peace, beautiful creature!
Piers Morgan seems to have a lot more to say about Meghan Markle than he already has. In the past, he described her as a “liar” and said that he doesn’t believe a words she says, referring to the allegations against the British Royal Family brought up by her in the media.

It was later reported that Meghan herself made a formal complaint against the host for everything he had said about her on air.
After the infamous all-tell Oprah interview, which Morgan described as “a two-hour trash-a-thon of our royal family,” he said Meghan deserved an Oscar nomination for acting a victim.
He also used the chance to slam her after it was reported that the Sussexes’ newborn baby girl was named Lilibet “Lili” Diana, paying tribute to the Queen and late Princess Diana. Morgan said the choice of the name was ironic, having in mind that the couple dragged the royal family name through the mud.
However, what many don’t know is that Morgan and Markle were sort of friends in the past, but she decided to cut him off once she met Harry.
“Meghan Markle is a ruthless social climbing actress who has landed the role of her life and is determined to milk it for all she can – and that’s why the Palace is beginning to turn on her,” he wrote shorty after Harry and Meghan tied the knot and revealed he had been “ghosted” by her in the past.

When he was just 21 years old, Ben adopted a boy with autism named Jack. Today, if you ask Jack about his father, he would say: “Daddy is the best daddy in the world.” Honestly, we can’t agree more with this innocent child’s statement about how special Ben truly is.
Over the course of 16 years, Ben adopted more children with disabilities and changed their world for the best.
“I’ve always known what I wanted. I never wanted to become a biological dad because being a parent is so much more than that,” Ben told the Mirror. “I wanted to help kids that were the most vulnerable and the ones that were most in need of a loving and caring home.”
Of course, adopting that many children at such young age wasn’t an easy thing to do. It required time, patience, and not giving up. “I had a lot to prove at such a young age. I needed to show that I was mature enough and could offer these kids what they needed. The good thing about adoption that you can’t do in pregnancy is picking the gender of the child.”

Except for Jack, who is now 14, Ben adopted Ruby, now an 11-year-old with a complex disability, and her sister Lily, 9, who is completely deaf.
“To begin with I chose a boy and then a girl because I thought that would be the perfect set up and luckily got accepted and matching with my son and daughter, Jack and Ruby,” the caring father said. “I was then asked if I would take my biological daughter’s sister which I agreed to do.”
Joseph, who has Down Syndrome and is now 6 years old, was adopted as a baby of a couple of days.
The fifth child Ben adopted back in the day was Teddy. The family now seemed complete. They were all lucky to have one another in their life, but then, in 2019, Teddy passed away, leaving a huge void in her family’s heart. “I was devastated and I felt guilty for a while because I kept wondering if there was something I could have done to fix it,” the heartbroken father said.

In 2020, Ben adopted his sixth child, Louis, who is blind and has cerebral palsy, as per Yorkshire Live. Although Teddy is now gone, he still considers himself a father of six. What’s most, he’s planning on welcoming more children in need in his life in the years to come.
“As much as I have changed their life, they have also changed mine. And I would never say never to having another child,” he told Mirror.
This incredible man is just a proof that not all heroes wear capes, some come in the form of single dads who would go above and beyond for the happiness of their children. Ben, thank you for everything you do for you kids.

Some four years after untying the knot with Tom Cruise, the Big Little Lies star Nicole Kidman met her current husband, singer Keith Urban. Some would say that their first meeting, which took place during the G’Day USA Gala — an event honoring Australians in Los Angeles, was a serendipitous one, well at least for Kidman who later confessed she was totally smitten with Urban.

Boyle was born on April 1, 1961. When she was pretty young, Boyle, who has an above-average IQ, was mistakenly diagnosed with learning disabilities, which led to her being made fun of by both her teachers and her classmates.
“I was often left behind at school because of one thing or another. I was a slow learner. I’m just a wee bit slower at picking things up than other people. So you get left behind in a system that just wants to rush on, you know? That was what I felt was happening to me,” the singer told Independent.

Boyle has always been aware of her singing talent, but somehow, didn’t have the courage to show it to the world. She did attend several singing competitions, but it was her mother who encouraged her to enter the show that changed her life and her world forever.
Sadly, her mother died a year before Boyle decided to let her voice loose so that the whole world could hear it.
“I was very lonely and very upset. There was a kind of numbness to begin with, because you don’t know what’s happening, but then it hit me like a ton of bricks. My health went down,” Boyle told Irish Central of her mother’s passing.
“I had panic attacks and felt I couldn’t cope. I didn’t eat or sleep properly. I’d had everything done for me. But the rest of my family helped pull me through. I think I still struggle with my independence a bit, because I depended on my mother so much – although I have a lot more help nowadays.”

Throughout the years, Boyle has sold over 25 million albums and has 250 million audio streams. She received two Grammy nominations, had No.1 albums in 40 plus countries, and 128 platinum and gold album certifications.
The singer suffered many tragedies in her life. She lost her sister Kathleen in 2000, and sister Brigid McCaw in 2015.
Speaking of Brigid, Boyle said: “She was honest and helped me throughout my life and during my career. She wasn’t afraid to tell me I was getting too big for my boots. I miss her every day and we as a family have needed this quiet time to grieve in peace.”

Later, a row with her brother Gerry followed. According to some magazines, he demanded from his sister to give him money, besides the nearly half a million pounds she had already given him. Allegedly, he was threatening to end his own life if she didn’t do what he told her to, as per the Mirror.
“I knew our lives would be a roller coaster after Britain’s Got Talent but I didn’t expect our family to be ripped apart,” Gerry told the Mirror. “Susan has been very generous to us all but I haven’t been greedy. I felt she could have done more to defend me.”

Two years after their argument, Boyle and her brother reunited. In 2016, she called him on the phone and Gerry later said: “Within five minutes, it was like we’d never been apart. It has been great to pick up the pieces.”
Boyle is still living in the house where she grew up. Recently, she opened the doors to her home to the OK Magazine and showed how she renovated it.
When it comes to her health, Boyle was diagnosed with diabetes type 2 some years ago and decided to change her lifestyle and eating habits completely. She lost weight and is looking fabulous.

Babies are the greatest blessings in life. Sadly, there are people who don’t cherish these God’s miracles and abandon their bundles of joy instead of providing them with the best life they deserve.
A story of a newborn baby girl dumped in the fields in Ladkrabang, a district in Bangkok, shoke the whole world. This heartbreaking incident took place in May of last year.
It was reported how some local farmers heard baby’s cries later in the night, but believed they were coming from some animals and didn’t get out to check until the next morning. The sight left them in complete shock. The tiny baby girl was all covered in bug bites and it was obvious she was in pain.
It was a real miracle she managed to survive during the night in that field.

The story was picked up by Daily Mail and soon the whole world world knew of that sweet baby and millions prayed for her recovery. The media reported how the little baby was just one day old when she was dumped as her umbilical cord was still untouched.
The baby was rushed to the nearest hospital, Krabang Hospital, where she was given proper care. The police was alerted of the incident and tried locating the parents.
As for the sweet girl, except for the nasty bites, she didn’t sustain any serious injuries.
“We believe that the parents might live nearby the area,” Lieutenant Colonel Samart Klinklao, inspector of Chalong Krung police station said.
“Officers will check around the communities and ask the locals for more details. We will also check the CCTV cameras in the street to find who left the baby there.”
We honestly hope this sweet child will have a happy and fulfilling life with parents that will show her only love.

Among the rest, Meghan revealed that the family didn’t want her son Archie to be a prince, and as everyone was quick to point out that she was talking nonsense because Archie could only become a prince when Prince Charles becomes a king, it looks like Meghan was referring to something that has just come to light.

Late Steve Irwin, “The Crocodile Hunter,” installed the love for the nature and the animals into his children and now they are both following into his footsteps and are doing their best to keep his legacy alive.
Through his passion and the out-of-this-world videos and documentaries of incredible species, he made millions look at the nature and the creatures living in the wild and the oceans with fresh eyes. Not only was he an animal lover, but a very famous advocate and conservationist too.
Unfortunately, he died back in 2006, leaving the world mourning. During filming at the Great Barrier Reef, Australia, Steve was pierced through the chest by a stingray.
“He was having trouble breathing. Even if we’d been able to get him into an emergency ward at that moment we probably wouldn’t have been able to save him, because the damage to his heart was massive,” Justin Lyon, an underwater cameraman and Steve’s close friend told Australia’s Network Ten television.
“As we’re motoring back I’m screaming at one of the other crew in the boat to put their hand over the wound and we’re saying to him things like, ‘Think of your kids, Steve, hang on, hang on, hang on.’ He just sort of calmly looked up at me and said, ‘I’m dying.’ And that was the last thing he said.”

Growing up surrounded by animals, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Steve’s children, Robert and Bindi Irwin, share the same passion as their dad.
Bindi was born July 24, 1998. She was only eight years old when her dad died. Living at a zoo, her life was much different than that of her peers, but she loved every second of it. In fact, even today, she and her family are working at the Australia Zoo.

Today, Bindi is married to the love of her life, Chandler Powell, a professional wakeboarder whom she met while he was visiting the Zoo.
“[Bindi and I met] right next to where Steve and Terri met [after] Steve had just finished a croc demonstration,” Chandler said of meeting Bindi. “I met Bindi right next door, and I was holding a koala and Bindi was holding an echidna, and it was just love at first sight.”
Later, when he headed back home, he wrote a letter to Bindi’s mom Terri asking if he could contact her daughter. He proposed to Bindi on her 21st birthday and she shared the news with her followers writing: “On my birthday I said ‘yes’ & ‘forever’ to the love of my life. In 2020, the two tied the knot. Bindi decided to keep her last name as a tribute to her late father, and Chandler decided to take the surname Irwin.
“I’ve kept Bindi Irwin,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I think that for me personally, after dad passed away, it was really important for me to feel close to him, and having his last name means so much to me.”
“Chandler has become an Irwin now,” he added. “It has become a part of me. Everyone has their own ideas, but the nice thing is that it’s 2020 now. Anything works!”
Before the wedding, Bindi shared a beautiful photo of her and Steve and wrote: “Thank you for being my guiding light. You’re always with me.”

When she announced the birth of daughter Gracie, Bindi also spoke of the pain of not having her father by her side during those moments in life.
“It’s going to be really special. It’s going to be really special for her to know him through us, to tell her about what an amazing man he was. It is really hard. It’s hard that he’s not here because out of everyone in the world, gosh, he would have loved her the most,” she said.
“He would have loved her so much. But I think in a way he is still with us. And his heart and soul lives on in all of us and, so yeah, he’s never really gone.”

Gracie is now living surrounded by animals, just like her grandparents, her parents, and her uncle. She gets to meet them one at the time, and we are sure that she will grow into an animal lover herself. She resembles her mother so very much, and there’s no doubt she will share the love for animals too.

Steve is missed by many, especially his family. They all agree that he would have been an amazing grandpa to little Gracie.
“I don’t think we would’ve ever seen our daughter. He would’ve just whisked her away into the zoo and it would’ve been perfect,” Bindi told Entertainment Online.
“But it is so nice that we’ll be able to introduce her to her grandfather through all of the documentaries. It’s really special.”

Namely, a week-old fawn whom they named Eva started approaching their yard more and more with each passing day until she felt completely comfortable around the couple’s side. What’s most, once she grew older and had babies on her own, she introduced them to her human friends, too.
Bastian and Marlis, who are totally fascinated by the nature and the animals, would often post videos of the surrounding and Eva on their blog.

One day, they posted a video of Eva lying in their yard. However, they noticed that the animal was without her babies and stayed there for quite some time. It was then that they figured out something was wrong.
After further inspection, Marlis noticed deep scratches on the deer’s body. She knew that Eva was looking for help and she was more than happy to assist her.
In order to calm her down, Marlis ran her hands through Eva’s belly and applied Bach Flower Remedy Rescue Cream on her wounds. Eva felt relieved and knew she was in safe hands.

Unfortunately, Eva passed away in 2016 and Marlis posted a video of her where she wrote about her life. She described the beautiful animal as an attentive mother who loved to figure things out and who enjoyed eating the flowers and the cloves from their garden.

Lt. j.g. Madeline Swegle is a young African American woman who has made history earlier this year when she became the first black female tactical aircraft pilot in the US Navy.
After completing her tactical air training programme, Swegle got her Wings of Gold in July 2020 and can now fly fighter jets such as the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, the F-35C Joint Strike Fighter or the EA-18G Growler, according to the Navy Times.
The Chief of Naval Air Training took to Facebook to congratulate Swegle for becoming part of the U.S. Navy as the first black female pilot after 110 years. “BZ to Lt. j.g. Madeline Swegle on completing the Tactical Air (Strike) aviator syllabus,” he wrote. BZ stands for Bravo Zulu, which means “well done.”
Except for the members of the Navy, congratulations for Swegle were in order from a lot of other people among which Sen. Elizabeth Warren and tennis legend Billie Jean King.
Swegle got on the list of women who made a change and were pioneers many are proud of, like Rosemary Mariner, who became the first woman in the Navy to fly a tactical jet in 1974, and Brenda Robinson, who was the first African American woman to earn her wings of gold and become a Navy flight instructor, evaluator and VIP transport pilot, during the 1980s.
Throughout the years, the U.S. Navy has often been criticized for the little number of black pilots. That led for them to create a special task force called “Task Force One Navy” which addresses issues of “racism, sexism and other destructive biases and their impact on naval readiness.”

After the passing of Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, there has been a huge void in the Queen’s heart and life. It was her who announced the passing of her husband of 73 years whom she first met and fall in love with when she was still just a teenager.
After their first meeting in 1934 at the wedding of Prince Philip’s cousin, Princess Marina, to Prince George, Duke of Kent, then 13-year-old Elizabeth and Philip became pen-palls.
The couple got engaged on 9 July 1947 after Prince Philip spent a year convincing King George VI to give him his daughter’s hand.

After losing her life-long companion, the Queen seeks comfort in the company of her dogs, corgi Fergus, named after the Queen’s uncle Fergus Bowes-Lyon who was killed during the WW I, and pure-bred corgi Muick, named after Loch Muick, a much loved holiday place of the Royals.
Her Majesty welcomed these two dogs while Prince Philip was hospitalized. According to Daily Mail, a royal source said: “The Queen was left with only one dog at the end of last year. She had made the decision not to get any more because she didn’t think it fair at her age. But it would be unthinkable for her not to have any. It’s like the Tower of London not having any ravens. The new puppies are adorable.”

Royal biographer Penny Junor said of the new addition to the Windsor family: “Her corgis are hugely important to her. They have over the years been closer to her than any human being. The corgis are intensely loyal and loving and they have never let her down.”
Corgis have always been very important to the Royal family. Over the years, over 30 dogs of this breed had lived in the castle, including Monty, Willow, Pickles, Smoky, Crackers, Holly, and Linnet. Many of them have accompanied the Queen to Scotland and other destinations and lived their lives to the fullest.

Recently, Prince Andrew and his daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, gifted another corgi to the Queen for her “official birthday.” It is a lovely six-week-old male whose name hasn’t been revealed yet.
Knowing just how important corgis are to the Queen, we are sure this little guy would be the perfect addition to the royal family.
Service dogs play a very important role when it comes to assisting people who are experiencing difficulties, whether it is autism, PTSD, diabetes, or other illnesses, conditions or impairments. They not only offer assistance in case their owners’ condition gets worse, but help them with their day-to-day tasks and offer love, friendship, and compassion.
A man named Aaron Morris from North Carolina had his service dog Jolene stolen. He was at the gas station when someone jumped into his car and drove away with Jolene and all of Aaron’s belongings.
The heartbroken owner couldn’t believe his baby was taken away from him. In hopes of finding her, he posted online asking for help from the members of the community.
“People in the North Carolina area keep an eye out and tennessee area my poor little girl and my uncle’s car were stolen…[…] They stole my phone most my belonging and my baby girl!” Aaron wrote.
As hours passed by and no one contacted him, Aaron decided to offer a $1,000 reward for his dog. “1000$ please just bring her back WINNGRAY is where you can drop her off!!”
While Aaron was desperately searching for his service dog of 6 years, someone found Jolene on the street and took her to the Morristown Hamblen Humane Society. Unfortunately, since Aaron’s phone was also stolen along with the car and his dog, the staff at the organization couldn’t contact him.
Thankfully, they decided to post a photo of the dog and ask if anyone had any information about her.
A few days later, someone recognized Jolene and informed Aaron, who was over the moon to learn his baby was at a safe place. He headed to Morristown Hamblen Humane Society right away and the reunion between him and Jolene melted the hearts of a huge number of people.
Neither Aaron nor Jolene could contain their happiness. We are so glad everything turned out for the best.

Kisrtie has struggled with her weight most of her life, but a few years back, she finally set her mind to eating and living healthier.
Her weight loss journey is truly inspirational.

What could have been the final straw that forced Meghan away from the family is a senior royal telling her that she would never be in first division the way Kate has, according to royal author Tom Quinn. Today, Meghan and Harry are settled in their $14 million dollar property in Montecito, California. They became parents for the second time and announced the birth of their daughter earlier in June.

A spokesperson for the couple said: “It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world.
“Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California. She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz. Both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home.
“Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales.
“This is the second child for the couple, who also have a two-year-old son named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The Duke and Duchess thank you for your warm wishes and prayers as they enjoy this special time as a family.”
Congratulations came pouring in, and Kate and William were among the well-wishers. “We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie,” they wrote on their Instagram account.

Last week, before the G7 meeting, the press got a chance to speak to Kate and they made sure they asked her about Lilibet.
“I wish her all the very best. I can’t wait to meet her,” Kate Middleton said. “We haven’t met her yet, so hopefully that will be soon.”
Kate was also the one who was reported to have “forced” her husband and Harry into talking during their late grandfather’s funeral. It looks like she’s ready to put the differences aside and forgive Meghan for accusing her of making her cry on her wedding day.

Rubin Swift had sole custody of his daughter, he left his hometown in Cleveland, Ohio, to pick up his newborn little girl, he was so glad to meet four-day-old Ru-Andria.
He really couldn’t wait to bring her home to meet his friends and family too…
When he went to Sky Harbor International airport with Ru-Andria and was getting ready to check in, he was stopped right where he stood…
Even though he had the correct papers, a doctors certificate to say that Ru-Andria could fly, the airline, Frontier, said no she can’t fly!
It seemed they have a policy that says that babies under seven days old cannot fly on their airline, according to azfamily.com.
Stuck in a city that he didn’t know, without anyone to help him at all, Rubin felt himself begin to panic...
He suddenly remembered that there was an elderly woman that he met in the hospital. Joy Ringhofer happens to be a volunteer at the Banner University Medical Center and she had held little Ru-Andria just minutes after the girl was born.
As Rubin first entered the room, he and Joy had got along so well, the two began a great friendship.
It was a real long shot, however, he had no other choice, he called Joy and told her the situation he was in.
Thankfully, Joy didn’t have to even think for a single second, just as Rubin had thought…
What she did was quite special:
“I didn’t expect her to say, ‘I’m coming to get you and take you home.’ So, I’m thinking, ‘She is going to drive me back to Cleveland’ but she actually brought me to her house and feeding me and making sure my baby is alright.”
Then after, what followed during the course of the next three days, it’s definitely proof that there still really are good people in the world.
