There is nothing a mother wouldn’t do for their little ones. A dog, a cat, or a human, does it make any difference? Separating a mother from her babies is the ultimate act of cruelty, but it seems nothing is sacred to some people, not even family.
A cow named Karma lived on a farm of terrible conditions. The place was rather small and very filthy, so she was eventually rescued and taken to a much better place.

However, although she was taken to a much better home, Karma was heavily disturbed and wouldn’t stop crying. That is when one of the rescuers at California’s Gentle Barn Sanctuary noticed that her udders were full of milk and realized she must have recently had a calf. They weren’t told about that and had no idea where the calf could have been.

They decided to call the farm where Karma used to live and were told that she had a baby which was on the way to the butcher’s.
Karma’s rescuers knew they needed to do everything in their power to track her calf down. Luckily, the truck the calf was traveling with broke down and it gave enough time for Karma’s rescuers to save her little one too.

Once they got to the calf, they calmed Karma down before she and the baby were reunited.

People working at shelters see all kinds of animals and hear a lot of different stories of why owners decide to surrender their pets. Of course, they don’t always trust those stories and know there is always something more behind the owners’ words. The truth is that many animals do end up in shelters where they spend their days until the right family for them comes along.
Gumby, a beautiful and loving dog, was taken to a Charleston, South Carolina, shelter during the Fall of 2014. The moment they saw him, the shelter staff knew it would be long until Gumpy found his forever home because he was playful and lovable. Well, they were right. Just a few days at the place, someone asked to adopt him. However, they took him back just three days later.
Believe it or not, this happened ten times, two of which showed Gumpy returning to the shelter on his own.
This was sort of a mystery for those working at the shelter, but they soon realized there was a reason why Gumpy didn’t want to leave the shelter. He believed it was his home and he felt as though he was needed there. And that was true. Whenever a new dog walked through the shelter doors, Gumpy was there to greet them with tremendous empathy, and he he would do everything he could to make the newly arrived dogs feel more at home, as they quite often arrived distressed.
Gumpy has become a very important dog not only for the shelter but for the entire community. He was once featured in an annual local firemen calendar to raise money for charity. On top of it, he became a regular blood donor as it turned out his blood group is suitable for both dogs and cats.
We all need someone as lovely and as fascinating as Gumpy in our lives.

There is no such thing as a bad dog, maybe just bad owners who fail to teach their furry pets the right behavior. When a dog is mistreated, it’s not unusual for them to turn aggressive, but that again, isn’t the dog’s fault.
Out of all dog breeds out there, Pit Bulls are considered to be most vicious. Their bad reputation is a result of humans treatment towards them. They have been used for dog frights for so long that they now stand for aggression. But the Pit bull from this story proves this common believe to be completely wrong by stepping in for a young boy and saving his life.
The story was shared by a woman named Stacie Rae English, the sister of a Pit Bull owner named Hurley.

Writing for Love what Matters, Stacie explained that her brother Shelby was walking Hurley at around 10 pm and let him off the leash so that he could run around when they heard a young boy screaming so Hurley took off after the scream.

“With my brother close behind, he saw Hurley grab a copper head snake away from the little boy and fling it around, later found out he had killed it. The little boy ran to his mothers vehicle and drove off so fast that my brother was unable to find out any information on the little boy. (We are assuming because they left so fast that he was bitten and being rushed to the ER) My brother then went on to call animal control and the Highland Village Cops showed up to check out the scene,” Stacie wrote.
“They asked to take a look at Hurley to see if he was bitten. To my brothers surprise, he was bleeding, had a swollen neck and foaming from his mouth. Sure enough, they found two puncture wounds in his upper lip. Shelby rushed Hurley to Denton Animal Emergency Hospital where he stayed the night so they could check his blood clotting ability multiple times through out the night.”
Luckily, Hurley was sent home and is doing fine, except his face is still swollen.

“It was later discovered the little boy had come across a copper head nest and hopefully Hurley prevented him from getting bitten, or at least getting bitten multiple times. We are still trying to find out who the little boy is and make sure he is okay. Here’s our hero pit bull. I’d like for his story to get around for those who judge his breed.”
We are glad everything turned out for the best for both Hurley and the boy he saved.

Minnie Graham’s life in the nursing home was supposed to be peaceful. This 98-year-old lady was admitted to the nursing home with promises that she will miss nothing and she will be under constant care and support. It turned out those promises were not quite true.
One day Minnie started complaining to her family that the staff was mistreating her. She added that the staff’s behavior towards her was awful, particularly that of the nurse that was assigned to take care of her. These claims were not taken too seriously by the family at that moment. However, very soon other signs made them think twice.
Very soon the family witnessed something very shocking. There were bruises on Minnie’s body. Later, she appeared to have a black eye, which made them quite worried. Minnie’s daughter and granddaughters wanted some answers about these horrible things.
The staff told the family that Minnie fell from the wheelchair and got the bruises. They told the family that there was nothing to worry about. But, the family knew there was more than what they were told.
The granddaughters wanted to find out what was going on. Therefore, they decided to put a camera in Mannie’s room. The camera was hidden in a clock. After some time, the family saw something horrible. They couldn’t believe their eyes!
It turned out that their beloved grandma was abused by two employees, Brenna Tiller and Iwuchukwu Ekechukwu. In one of the footages, they were shows spraying water on Minnie’s face and forcing a cloth into her mouth that had just been used to clean her body.
It took some time for the two cruel workers to be punished for what they did, but through initiative and determination, the family witnessed justice being served before Minnie passed away.
According to Rasansky Law Firm, Ekechukwu was reportedly convicted for a felony with five years of probation and had her nursing home license revoked, but Tiller continued to work at different facility and authorities have been unable to track her down.

Princess Anne, the daughter of late Queen Elizabeth and sister of King Charles, has kept quiet about the royal family despite everything they have gone through, including Meghan and Harry’s split from the Firm, Harry’s book, and everything her brother Andrew has been involved in during the past couple of years.
This time, however, she decided to open up about the future of the Royal Family and people praised her for the intelligent and eloquent interview.
During the wide-ranging interview with the Canadian channel CBC News, which took place four days ahead of the much-awaited coronation of King Charles, Princess Anne was asked, among the rest, about the reports that her brother intends to overhaul the institution, or better said, to “slim down” the monarchy.

Reports are that Charles’ thoughts on ‘cutting down’ the monarchy were present even when Queen Elizabeth was still alive.
“Prince Charles has wanted for a very long time to cut the monarchy down to save costs and to make people be worth the money that they got from the taxpayer,” Angela Levin, a royal expert, told TalkRADIO, as per Express. “I imagine that might be when Harry and Meghan are ditched from being members of the Royal family.”
Slimming down the monarchy would mean that the working royals, including the King himself, as well as William and Kate, would take on more duties. Speaking of it, Princess Anne said, “Well, I think the ‘slimmed-down’ [comment] was said in a day when there were a few more people around … [to] make that seem like a justifiable comment.” She then added: “It doesn’t sound like a good idea from where I’m standing, I would say. I’m not quite sure what else we can do.”

Princess Anne is set to take part in the coronation procession as the Gold-Stick-in-Waiting.
“The direction of the King’s decision is clear for all to see,” a royal source revealed. “He is rewarding the Princess Royal for her loyalty and her unwavering devotion to duty above all else. The King values his sister as a trusted lieutenant, and this is the perfect example of such a relationship.”
In her new interview, Princess Anne, who is 16th in line of succession, was further questioned as to whether there are “conversations about relevance” taking place within the Royal Family.
She replied: “There will be everywhere. It’s not a conversation that I would necessarily have. I think it’s perfectly true that it is a moment where you need to have that discussion.
“But I would just underline that the monarchy provides, with the constitution, a degree of long-term stability that is actually quite hard to come by any other way.”

Over the years, the number of those who are in favor of the monarchy has decreased. Referring to this, the Princess said, “Well, we don’t in many respects need to deal with it, not least of all because it is the monarch that is the key to this, and the constitution that underpins the monarchy.”
“We as a family see ourselves there to support that role. What we do, we hope, contributes to the monarchy and the way in which it can convey continuity, of not just interest, but of service, of understanding, the way that people in communities want to live their lives.
She then concluded: “And I think so often we get the chance to see communities and the people who do things really well and are very generous with their time in a way that, if you look at the media, you tend not to get that impression.”

When the late Queen was crowned some 70 years ago, Charles was just a three-year-old boy, who was totally unaware that the event he attended laid the foundation for him to become King one day. And that day has finally arrived.
May 6th marks the start of a new era for Britain. The much-awaited coronation is mere hours away and all eyes are on the British royal family and the big event.
British media outlets have speculated that the coronation will cost around $120 million, though neither Downing Street nor Buckingham Palace has confirmed the validity of this information.
A recent survey by YouGov shows that 32 per cent believe the coronation should be funded by the government, while the rest believe King Charles should pay for out of his own pocket. His fortune is estimated at £1.8 billion (around $2.2 billion).

The event would be attended by around 100 heads of state, and security services have been preparing for it for months. A record 11,500 police will be working on the coronation in what is set to be the most extensive security operation in British history.
The security will additionally include military personnel and three helicopters from the Metropolitan Police Air Support Unit from Essex will be in the air, along with other aircraft.

Besides those who would be there to greet and support the new King and the Queen Consort, there will also be those who would protest. In fact, protests have been held on multiple occasions since the passing of Queen Elizabeth by those who don’t want to pay for the lavish lifestyle of the members of the monarchy and want it shut down.
“What we will not stand for and what we will not have is anyone committing criminal acts in the name of protest,” Deputy Assistant Commissioner Adelekan said.
“We will come down very swiftly to intervene, to make sure that people that are going about their normal business that just want to enjoy the coronation are not interfered with.”

An incident which took place earlier this week raised a red flag, despite the fact that security has been as tight as it’s ever been in London as the coronation approaches.
At about 7pm local time on Tuesday, a man was taken for questioning after throwing what’s been reported as shotgun shells into the grounds of Buckingham Palace. The person was reported to have shouted: “I’m going to kill the king.” He was also carrying a knife.
“He was in his thirties. He’s been here the last few nights shouting, ‘I’m going to kill the King!’” one witness told The Sun. “As soon as he placed the bag on the ground, the police jumped on him. They were shouting at him, ‘Get down on the floor.’”
Following the incident, Charles and Camilla, who weren’t home at the time the man exposed his threats, posted on their official Instagram account. They wrote, “Three days to go… #Coronation.”

The suspect placed a bag by the gates to the palace grounds. Inside, there was a mobile phone, passports, bank cards, a laptop case, and a copy of the book The Happiness Advantage, about using positive psychology to “enhance individual achievement.”
“Specialists attended and, following an assessment, a controlled explosion was conducted as a precaution,” the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
“Officers worked immediately to detain the man, and he has been taken into police custody. There have been no reports of any shots fired or any injuries. Further enquiries are ongoing.”
We hope there won’t be any incidents during the coronation.

What was supposed to be the start of a new milestone for a 9-year-old named Payton Crustner turned into a tragedy which claimed her life.
Payton was starting fourth grade so her family thought it would nice to take a photo of their girl holding a sign with the date and the message “1st Day of 4 Grade” written on it. Payton was all smile when she posed, not knowing that her life would end mere minutes later.
Tragically, this beautiful young lady didn’t reach the classroom as she and her family got involved in a deadly car crash on their way to school. While Payton’s mom, 32-year-old Miranda, was driving the car, 18-year-old Marcus Wayne Dukes, who was driving on the highway when he turned left and veered into oncoming traffic, collided with Miranda’s car. At the moment of the crash, Payton was thrown out of the vehicle and was declared dead at the scene.

The rest of the passengers, including Miranda and a 3-year-old girl whose identity hadn’t been revealed sustained minor injuries. Miranda’s son was in a critical condition but was eventually released from the hospital. He wasn’t wearing a seat belt nor was the 3-year-old.
Miranda had a seat belt on when the accident happened, and Payton had one as well, but hers was a lower belt which failed to keep her safely strapped in.
A member of the grieving family started a GoFundMe page to help them with the funeral expenses which helped raise almost $18,000.
“Payton Lynn Crustner, 9 years old, was taken from this world this morning before her first day of 4th grade, please keep this family in your prayers,” the post read.
We are so very sorry for this tragic loss that serves as a reminder of the importance of wearing a seat belt, which is probably the most important safety feature in a car.

Aging is part of life, but not everyone accepts the fact that they are getting old and that their appearances changes. In order to stop this natural process, many people turn to plastic surgery.
Czech model Paulina Porizkova, who graced the runways for many years, is not one of them. This stunningly beautiful lady, who is now 57, gets candid about the process of getting older and says she stays away from injectables because she wants to embrace aging, and that “faces are for communicating.”

Speaking to People, Paulina said that at one point in her life she felt like “literally being an apple in a still life,” and that the point was to “look pretty.”
“You just kind of get polished, placed, be quiet, look pretty,” she recalled. “It was a little frustrating to me.”
Being part of the business since the age of just 13, Paulina said, “There’s all these other things I had wanted to do. I recognize that I was blessed to be put in this position and to have gotten so successful as I did. You don’t turn your nose up on that. That’s a gift.”

Speaking of the modeling industry, she believes that one thing that needs to change is ‘ageism.’ “I felt ashamed to be ageing, and then on the other hand you go: ‘But I’m smarter, I’m better, I’m funnier, I’m more patient!” she shared with People. “Overall as a person, I’m the best I’ve ever been.”
Besides her age, she still poses in bikinis and posts her photos on the social media. “I am a 57-year-old woman, and it seems to mean, in society, when you go into your middle age, you sort of lose your license to be able to show up in bikinis too.” And despite receiving some mean comments at times, such as: “a desperate grandma” or “too old to be doing this,” she believes she has the right to wear whatever she feels comfortable in.
Getting old is certainly not a reason for her, or other people her age, to be dismissed. “You don’t get to dismiss me because I have some wrinkles and sags and grey hair now, when I’m kind of fabulous, the most fabulous I’ve ever been,” this beauty says. “In fact, I’m going to just put it out there and go, you know what, this is me at my best. Deal with it!”
Instead of turning to injectables and plastic surgery, she tries most noninvasive treatments she can find. In a conversation with WWD, she said, “I just want a little subtle help. I don’t want any drastic stuff. I don’t want to eliminate my age. I just want to look as good as I can given the limitations.”
Paulina’s desire is to be “an unaltered older woman.”
“What I like about my face now at 57, it’s that it’s like a really good novel of the history of my life, like it’s all written into my face,” she says.
Paulina is an inspiration to many. She loves aging gracefully and she believes that’s something we should all accept.

Grant Wise, a real estate businessman, has come up with the ‘$100 club’ during the pandemic. The idea behind this ‘club’ is that he and his friends tip $100 to servers at restaurants in order to make their days enjoyable and thank them for the service.
Recently, he and some other businessmen decided to have dinner at Oven & Tap in Bentonville, north-west Arkansas. According to Wise, before he made a reservation, he called the place in order to establish what the tipping policy was. He was then told that waiters and waitresses don’t split their takings.
Once at the restaurant, he and the rest of the executives left a generous tip of $4,400 to waitress Ryan Brandt and told her to split it with her colleague who needed to leave early because she wasn’t feeling fine.
Needless to say, Brandt was left speechless. She couldn’t believe her eyes when Wise handed her the thick wad of cash.

Rebecca Soto, one of the people accompanying Wise, filmed the entire thing and uploaded the clip on Instagram with the caption: “I’m humbled to have been part of something so beautiful and generous. To bless someone else without previously knowing them.
“I have been blessed, so it is wonderful to pay it forward and bless someone else.
“God bless all who contributed and the servers who received it. I pray it may be multiplied and impact their life for the better.”
In the video, Wise could be seen giving the money to Brandt and saying, “Everybody at this table has contributed or tipped $100 for you, and for the other waitress, who unfortunately had to go home because she wasn’t feeling well.
“And then we put it out to our social media channels, and we actually had quite a bit more money sent in. So we are tipping you a total of $4,400 for you to split with the other girl that took care of us.”

Sadly, Brandt’s happiness was short lived as her manager asked her to give him the money and keep just 20 per cent.
She complained, and somehow Wise learned of what the manager wanted to do so he asked the money back and then gave them to Brandt again but this time, he did it outside the restaurant.
Sadly, shortly after, she was fired for accepting the money. Brandt said Oven & Tap told her that she was fired because she disclosed information to Wise about splitting the tip with her coworkers, which violated the restaurant’s policy, KNWA reported.
Learning of this, Wise and his compassionate colleagues started a GoFundMe page for Brandt which raised $8,700 in a matter of days.

Oven & Tap, meanwhile, issued a statement on the matter, claiming that they had “honored” Wise’s table’s request that the tips go to Ryan and her colleague.
“After dining, this large group of guests requested that their gratuity be given to two particular servers,” the restaurant said.
“We fully honored their request. Out of respect for our highly valued team members, we do not discuss the details surrounding the termination of an employee.”

After more than 70 years, Britain will witness a coronation taking place when Charles would officially be crowned a King in a couple of days.
However, besides Charles, his wife Camilla will also be given a new, more significant role, that of Queen Consort.
The much-awaited coronation is set to take place on May 6, which happens to be the birth date of Archie, Harry and Meghan’s son.
When late Queen Elizabeth was crowned in 1954, over 8,000 guests were in attendance at the coronation, and 129 nations were officially represented. King Charles is now allegedly planning to significantly reduce that number on his coronation, according to reports.
The coronation, which is given the code-name “Operation Golden Orb,” will take place at Westminster Abbey, conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.

The statement regarding this special event Britain hasn’t seen since June 2, 1953, when Queen Elizabeth became the head of monarchy, states that King Charles’ coronation “will reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry.”
Further, the statement reads that “The Coronation is a solemn religious service, together with an occasion for celebration and pageantry.
“Across the Coronation Weekend, there will be further opportunities for people to come together in celebration of the historic occasion. On Sunday, May 7 2023, a special Coronation Concert will be staged and broadcast live at Windsor Castle by the BBC and BBC Studios, with several thousand pairs of tickets to be made available via public ballot,” Buckingham Palace added.
“The Coronation Big Lunch, at which neighbors and communities are invited to share food and fun together, will take place across the country on the same date.”

Camilla would be crowned with Queen Mary’s Crown, which is set with 2,200 diamonds and was worn by Queen Mary for the coronation alongside her husband, King George V, in 1911. The crown would be altered so that is honors late Queen Elizabeth. According to some, the headpiece will be replaced with diamonds Cullinan III, IV, and V, which belonged to the late Queen’s personal jewelry collection.
Harry is not expected to participate in the famous celebration on the Buckingham Palace balcony because those places are reserved for the working royals only. Military historian Dr. Peter Johnston, says Harry could be in for an uncomfortable and humiliating dilemma.
As per True Royalty TV, Johnson claimed Harry might even get banned from wearing his uniform.
“Even as a veteran who did two tours in Afghanistan, he won’t wear uniform,” Jonhston said, as quoted by the Mirror.
“I imagine he’ll wear his medals but quite where he fits within the procession and where he comes, I think will be probably reasonably similar to where he was at the funeral as well.”

Mere days before the great event, the royal family received some tragic news. The Duchess of Buccleuch, Lady Elizabeth Kerr, wife of the Duke of Buccleuch, Richard Scott, suddenly passed away recently at age 68.
Scott was given a significant role in the coronation, to carry the Sceptre with Cross during the service. As of now, it remains unknown whether or not he will take that role.
According to the family, The Duchess of Buccleuch died after a short illness. She and Scott, whose grandmother was Princess Margaret, married back in 1981. She held a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the London School of Economics and worked at BBC Radio 4 and later on BBC Radio Solway after marrying the Duke.

“The Duke of Buccleuch and his family have announced that, very sadly, on Sunday morning, the duchess died after a short illness following an operation,” Benny Higgins, executive chairman of Buccleuch, said in a statement.
“The duchess was the most wonderful, life-enhancing spirit and our hearts go out to the family as they come to terms with their loss.”
Throughout her life, The Duchess of Buccleuch was involved with several charities, including being the chairwoman of the Scottish Ballet and the Heritage Education Trust, as well as a trustee of the National Museums of Scotland and the British Museum.

Shelters are full of different animals that are waiting for someone to come along and get them out of there. Most of the poor souls who were abandoned or lived their life on the streets dream of finding a forever home. Sadly, not every shelter animals is lucky enough to be adopted by someone who would love them unconditionally.
Well, although not everyone can adopt a shelter animal and provide them with a loving home, we can all do something to ease these creatures’ lives, and an elderly man from Tulsa, Oklahoma, knows this best.

Twenty-year-old Madison Sorrels was at the Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter in Oklahoma waiting to adopt a dog when she noticed the man entering the place. He was carrying a plastic bag that he was about to hand in to the shelter employees.
Madison was curious to learn what the man had in his hands so she stayed for a while.
Her heart melted when she realized he was donating a bag full of tennis balls to the shelter. It turned out that his dog passed away, and he wanted to give the balls that once belonged to his fur pall to the animals at the shelter so that they could have some fun while waiting for a future owner to come along.

“My boyfriend and I were adopting a poodle mix puppy at Tulsa Annimal Welfare. We found out this gentleman was donating tennis balls in memory of a very loved pet. If this doesn’t make your day then I don’t know what will,” Madison wrote after she posted a couple of photos of the man.
Her post vent viral in a matter of days and many praised the elderly man for his act of kindness.
Instead of holding on to the tennis balls while mourning the loss of his dog, this man decided to bring happiness to other canines.
What a thoughtful individual.

Thanks to the daring effort of several heroic railroad workers a tragedy was avoided after a 3-year-old boy who was on the autism spectrum and non-verbal wandered off on the tracks of Metro-North Railroad near Tarrytown, north of New York City.
The child was first spotted by locomotive Engineer William Kennedy who was operating a southbound Hudson Line train around 3:15 p.m. “There’s a little kid north of you guys,” he could be heard saying in a video released by the MTA, addressing the crew of an approaching northbound train.

As per WABC, the little one had strayed onto the rail track and was edging closer to the electrified third rail. Kennedy, who is a father of four, managed to stop his train, which was traveling at 70mph. “I got four kids so as soon as I saw it was a child, instantly ‘daddy’ kicked in and [I thought], ‘We gotta save this kid,’” he explained.

The train which was heading in the opposite direction proceeded slowly until those operating the train were able to see the child. Assistant conductor Marcus Higgins, who was on the train spotted the boy. “I’m screaming and trying to wave in this direction, like, go the other way. But, you don’t know how young he was,” Higgins said. At that moment, he jumped down from the train, running forty yards ahead of it, grabbed the boy from a cover on top of the third rail and carried him to safety.
“In the heat of the moment when you see a child in this situation, your first instinct is to make sure they’re safe,” stated Higgins. “I’m glad our crew was there and able to help.”
The mother, who burst into tears of joy, explained that her child, Waylon, went missing. She soon reunited with him on the train.
The heroes were awarded commendations by MTA.

Oksana and Sergey, a couple from Odessa, Ukraine, had a daughter but hoped to have another baby. They believed that having two children would make their family perfect.
When Oksana fell pregnant, she could sense something was different than with her first pregnancy. She though that she could be carrying twins, but as no one in the family had twins before, she convinced herself that it couldn’t be the case.
“No one in our family had ever been pregnant with twins. I was sure I would never experience anything like this”, Oksana shared with the German news source Heftig.

Her pregnancy, however, developed into a shocking twist that left people around the world speechless.
When she went for an ultrasound, she knew something was going on a soon as she noticed the shock on her doctor’s face. He was about to deliver some incredible news.
“When I saw the shock on the doctor’s face, my heart stopped for a moment,” Oksana said. “Then I heard him mumble something along the lines of: ‘You deserve to have a big house by the sea…’”
Some moments after, he said, “I can see five fetuses, maybe six. It’s hard to tell.”

Oksana couldn’t believe what she heard. Was it really possible for her to be carrying that many babies? Well, it turned out it was. She was pregnant with quintuplets, the chances of which are 1 in 47 458 321 pregnancies.

“It almost felt like a nightmare, as though I would wake up at any moment,” she said she felt as she tried to process the news. “It takes time to process this kind of news. I mean, how would we manage to take care of so many children,” her husband Sergey said.
When she was in the 30th week of her pregnancy, Oksana was admitted to the hospital for a C-section. “They treated me like I was made of porcelain– they were extremely cautious,” she said of the staff at the delivery room.
The babies were born a bit prematurely but they were all perfectly healthy.
Daria, Alexandra, Denis, Vladislav and David became instant celebrities in their home country as they were the first ever quintuplets born in Ukraine.
Raising five babies all at once wasn’t an easy task, but Oksana and Sergey have been incredible parents to their “five treasures” and their older daughter.
Since the babies were born, the family moved to a bigger apartment.

This time, Keanu melted our hearts yet again when he engaged in a conversation with a young fan who told him that he was his favorite actor.
Namely, Keanu, who has turned to writing comic books and co-created and co-wrote the series BRZRKR, the biggest single selling issue since Star Wars in 2015, alongside Matt Kindt, was signing books when the fan approached him. “I’m such a big fan!” the boy could be heard saying. Keanu then asks about the boy’s name. He answers that his name is Noah and then the actor introduces himself, although we all know there is no need for it. This just showed Keanu’s politeness.
“You’re probably my favorite actor in the whole world!” Noah says in the clip shared by IGN. “Oh my gosh, Noah, thank you!” the John Wick star replies.
Keanu then proceeds to ask Noah whether or not he knows who Duke Caboom, the toy voiced by Reeves in Toy Story 4, is. Noah says yes and adds that he’s his favorite character.

Angie Dickinson, 91, who had her big breakthrough with Howard Hawks’ Rio Bravo, has been one of the most celebrated actresses of her generation. Before landing the role of Feathers, a sultry saloon girl, in Rio Bravo, in which she starred opposite John Wayne and Dean Martin, Dickinson had small acting parts in a number of movies.
During the 1950s, she appeared in numerous anthology series which helped her cement her place under the Hollywood sky.
Her most impactful role is that of Seargent Pepper Anderson in Police Woman. This role made her a pioneer because no other woman played such a role in the past. Seeing a female in uniform of television inspired many young women to purse careers in the military.

The series, however, was “too clean” according to Dickinson. She did not like how each of the episodes ended perfectly and how little violence was involved in them.
When she was first offered the role, she had wanted “to throw up,” she revealed in 2020 during an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning Show. Calling it a “horrendous undertaking,” Dickinson revealed the show shot 20 to 21 episodes each season which was a grueling task. On top of it, she wasn’t paid much, as there was a pay gap between men and women in the film industry back in the day. The show “sapped” years of her life and that it “wasn’t worth it.”

Over the years, she has been said to had had romantic affiliations with actors and politicians, among which Frank Sinatra, with whom she starred together in Ocean’s Eleven, Dean Martin, and former president John F. Kennedy as well.
Dickinson was married twice. Her first husband, Gene Dickinson, was a star of the football team of the school they both attended. They tied the knot in 1952 and called it quits in 1960. Dickinson married Burt Bacharach, who became a famous composer in the years that followed. The two welcomed a daughter together, Nikki, Dickinson’s only child.
Nikki was born three months prematurely and spend some time at the NICU but resembled a perfectly healthy child. Sadly, she experienced plenty of health issues over the years although she thrived in ballet, gymnastics, horseback, swimming, and scuba diving as a child. Nikki also excelled in music and instruments, but she was then diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, which is on the autism spectrum and often referred to as a type of “high-functioning autism.”

When she was born, Nikki was diagnosed with strabismus and her eye sight became worse over the years which prevented her from having a career. Her parents took her to a specialized facility where she lived for ten years.
At the age of 40, Nikki died by suicide. The statement regarding her passing said that she had taken her life to “escape the ravages” in her mind.
Speaking of her late daughter, Dickinson said, “She was very smart and funny and wonderful. Yeah, so all my memories of her are my best memories.”
Dickinson retired from acting in 2009, playing her last role in the Hallmark film Mending Fences. “I am not looking for work, I don’t really care,” Dickinson said on Pioneers of Television. “I’ve had my day in the sun, and I am very content.”

Following her daughter’s passing, she has lived all by herself in her Beverly Hills home.
She appeared on a PBS documentary about Sammy Davis, Jr., I’ve Gotta Be Me. When she was 79 years old, the actress said she was ‘lucky.’ She said, “I came along at the right time for so many great things. I met some great stars and stayed friends with many and lovers with some. It was a fantastic life, really. And it still is.”
Dickinson was last spotted in public by The Daily Mail in early October 2021 and she has always been very secretive about her personal life.

On May 6, the day of the coronation of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, George will play a significant role while his siblings will only be in attendance as quests due to their young age.
Prince George will be a Page of Honor, which means he will be one of seven children who will be holding King Charles and Queen Camilla’s robes during the ceremony as they walk through Westminster Abbey.

The Mirror reports that the Pages of Honor will wear a scarlet frock coat with gold trimmings, a white waistcoat, hose, white gloves, black shoes, a lace cravat, and ruffles at the coronation.
“Throughout the Coronation Service on 6th May, Their Majesties will each be attended by four Pages of Honour. The Pages will form part of the procession through the Nave of Westminster Abbey,” a statement from Buckingham Palace read.
“The King’s Pages of Honour will be His Royal Highness Prince George of Wales, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Master Nicholas Barclay and Master Ralph Tollemache.
“The Queen Consort’s Pages of Honour will be Her Majesty’s grandsons, Master Gus and Master Louis Lopes and Master Freddy Parker Bowles, and Her Majesty’s great-nephew, Master Arthur Elliot,” the statement continued.

Knowing just how significant their son’s role will be, William and Kate make sure they prepare the young Prince for his grandpa’s big day.
Royal expert and author Ingrid Seward reported that George, as well as his siblings, have been given lessons.
“As one of four Pages of Honour, the nine-year-old will have had to learn about the six stages of his grandfather’s coronation in preparation for the big day,” Seward told the Mirror.
“Over the Easter holidays, Catherine will have been teaching not just George but all three of the children a simplified version of what they will be witnessing on the day.
“The recognition, the oath, the anointing, the investiture (which includes the crowning) the enthronement and the homage.”

What’s most, the Prince and Princess of Wales found a rather creative way to introduce George with his duties on the day of the coronation; through theater.
“By making it fun and by re-enacting parts of what their grandfather will be doing, both she and William hope George won’t be too daunted by his responsibilities,” Seward said.
“He will form part of the King’s Procession with the three others through the nave of Westminster Abbey.”
As there is no rehearsal for the coronation, the children were given a virtual tour of how it will look like.

“If he can visualise where he is supposed to go and what to do, it will reduce any nerves he might feel being the youngest page. The other three boys are 13 and 12 respectively,” Seward explained.
Further, she explained: “He will also have to get used to the idea of wearing the red-coated livery and lace of a page of honor, as I can’t see him going in a jacket and tie.
“Prince Michael of Kent, who was 11 at the late Queen’s Coronation, recalls his buckle shoes and dark green velvet jacket and how his schoolfriends teased him about wearing ‘fancy dress.’ No doubt George has had a bit of teasing to,” Seward concluded.
“But on the day, he will have the last laugh over his friends. When they watch on TV he will be there and they won’t. He will certainly never forget it.”

Not only William and Kate, but the King himself is also very proud of George and of his role on the day of the coronation and his role in the royal family.
“The King is very keen to show those in the line of succession, his natural heirs, at the centre of his Coronation,” a royal insider told the Mirror.
“Even though he is only nine, George is very mature and already has a deep understanding of the roles of his grandfather and father, as well as his future role.”
The insider added: “This task is a wonderful sign of the future being laid out by the King.”
The coronation is to take place on May 6. We are all looking forward to this significant even which hasn’t taken place for over 70 years.

Over the years, there have been plenty of speculations of why King Charles’ fingers look swollen, but now that he’s a king, people are more and more concerned for his health.
Well, it turns Charles was born with fingers of unique features.
During a visit to Australia in 2012, King Charles allegedly joked about his fingers, referring to them as to his ‘sausage fingers.’
After William was born, Charles sent a letter to a friend informing him that he became a father. In the letter, he wrote, “I can’t tell you how excited and proud I am. He really does look surprisingly appetizing and has sausage fingers just like mine,” as per Howard Hodgson biography Charles, The Man Who Will Be King.

The Queen herself was aware Charles’ fingers were ‘different’ from the moment he was born.
“The baby is very sweet and we are enormously proud of him. He has an interesting pair of hands for a baby,” a letter from Queen Elizabeth read.
“They are rather large, but with fine long fingers quite unlike mine and certainly unlike his father’s. It will be interesting to see what they become. I still find it hard to believe I have a baby of my own!”
Dr. Gareth Nye, Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester, spoke to the Daily Star and explained that King Charles’ swollen fingers might be a result of oedema or fluid retention.

“Oedema is a condition where the body starts to retain fluids in the limbs, normally the legs and ankles but also in the fingers, which causes them to swell,” Nye said. “Oedema is a common condition and mostly affects people over the age of 65 as the ability for fluid control is restricted.”
He added, “To see if this is the cause, pressing the swollen area for about 15 seconds would cause a depression in the area.”
The state of his fingers could also be a sign of arthritis.

Following a visit of a Sikh temple in New Delhi, India, back in November 2019, many became aware that the King’s toes are swollen as well.
According to Nye, in Charles’ case, this may indicate to a more systemic condition. “If this is chronic, we could be looking at cardiovascular issues like heart failure, kidney disease or liver disease,” he said, and added: “However, it may simply be due to either/both continuous sitting with the legs bent for long periods, which is common in older patients who sit for prolonged periods, or prolonged standing as older people have a harder time returning blood from the feet and legs when standing due to normal changes in the cardiovascular system.”
He further said that “We may additionally be seeing arthritis impacting in the ankle which would also cause swelling like this.”

Although the King doesn’t suffer from any known conditions, he was involved in several accidents over the years.
In his book Spare, prince Harry revealed that his father was once involved in a polo accident after falling off a horse and was in “constant pain.”
He aggravated his back injury three years later when he fell off a horse at Windsor.
“Prescribed by his physio, these exercises were the only effective remedy for the constant pain in Pa’s neck, and back,” Harry wrote.
Explaining how King Charles hurt his back, the Harry explained: “Old polo injuries, mostly.”
he then added: “As a boy, I’d seen Pa take [a hard] fall, the horse giving way, the ground simultaneously smacking and swallowing him. I remembered thinking: ‘Why’s Pa snoring?’ And then someone yelling: ‘He’s swallowed his tongue!” Harry wrote, “A quick-thinking player jumped from his horse and saved Pa’s life.”

In 1998, then-prince Charles broke a rib while hunting foxes, and in 2001, he allegedly fractured a bone in his shoulder again after being involved in a horse falling accident.
That same year, he fell off a horse again and was forced to spend a night at a hospital.
“He was unconscious for a very brief time, was taken to the local hospital and is now being transferred to Cheltenham General Hospital where he will stay for a precautionary overnight stay,” spokesman Patrick Harrison said at the time.

Katharine Juliet Ross first came to prominence with her role in The Graduate in which she starred alongside Dustin Hoffman. The role earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and a Golden Globe nomination for New Star of the Year.
The film was a huge success, grossing $104.9 million in the United States and Canada and making it the highest-grossing film of 1967. The ending of The Graduate remains a mystery as it shows Benjamin, played by Hoffman, rescuing Elaine, played by Ross, from her wedding. The two are then seen sitting on a city bus with expressions on their faces that not many expected.
“You are always told you just keep going in a scene until the director says ‘cut.’ Well, Mike didn’t say it for the longest time. We ran out of dialogue, but the camera kept running. What do I think? I think Elaine got off at the next stop,” Ross said of the role which turned her into a star.

“[Dustin Hoffman] was this New York stage actor. He looked like he had rolled out from under a rock, he was so pale. He just wanted to get back to some play off-Broadway he was doing. Although we ended up getting to know and like each other, what I thought that first day was, “Oh my God — this guy is dressed all in black, and he is white as a sheet,” Ross recalled in an interview with the Houston Chronicle.
“You know Dustin’s one-time roommate Gene Hackman was cast as my father. I don’t know exactly what the deal was, but he bowed out.”
Ross made professional acting debut in 1962 with the Television role in Sam Benedict and her film debut with Shenandoah along with James Stewart.

At the start of her rich and successful career, Ross appeared in a number of movies, including Hellfighters, Fools, The Final Countdown, A Climate for Killing, and many more, but being an actor during the ’60 wasn’t an easy thing.
“I remember doing a screen test for the only film that Samuel Goldwyn Jr. ever directed: The Young Lovers. It was to star Peter Fonda, but he wasn’t available to do the screen test with me, so they brought in Chad Everett. He didn’t know that the role was cast, and he was putting everything he had into the screen test. I didn’t have the heart to tell him the truth. I went through a series of sessions with a hairdresser to get my look the way Sam wanted it. When they were finished, they had hacked off all of my hair. And they wound up casting someone else,” she once shared with Variety. “I’ll tell you what was great about it,” she continued. “It was a time when the old studio system was in its dying throes, and they were just starting to try new approaches, and the little $1 million budget films were being seen as the way to go. And that did turn out to be the progenitor of a great new era that eventually became the indie film movement.”

In 1969, she landed another very significant role. She was cast in the now-legendary film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, in which she featured in one of the most iconic scenes ever when she balanced on the handlebars of a bicycle pedaled by actor Paul Newman.
For the last 40 something years, Ross has been happily married to actor Sam Elliott. Before tying the knot with him, she was married four times, and with Elliot, she finally found true love.
The two first worked together in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, but he was an extra in the film and didn’t have the courage to approach her. He got smitten by her and it was the start of one of the most beautiful romances Hollywood has ever seen.

“My wife, Katharine Ross, and I both worked on Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, but I didn’t dare try to talk to her then. She was the leading lady. I was a shadow on the wall, a glorified extra in a bar scene,” Elliott told AARP The Magazine in 2015.
“It was a great opportunity, though, because being an extra on the show and being a contract player (with Fox) allowed me to get in and watch ’em make the film. I spent a lot of time over in a dark corner watching Katharine and the rest of ’em work while they were in L.A,” he told The Oklahoman.

Some ten years later, they found themselves working together yet again, this time in the Gothic horror movie The Legacy.
They welcomed daughter Cleo Rose Elliott and went on to starre in a number of films together, including Travis McGee, Houston: The Legend of Texas, and Conagher. In 2017, the two starred together in The Hero, where Elliott starred as an aging Western film star and Ross as his ex-wife.
“I think we just like making movies and having that creative experience together is the best,” Elliott told the Los Angeles Times in 2016.

Amy Slaton, the star of the reality series 1000-Lb. Sisters, and her husband Michael Halterman are untying the knot.
Court documents revealed that it was Michael who filed for divorce as the couple was constantly arguing over the last couple of months, as reported by The Sun. Allegedly, Amy insisted that they boys continue appearing on the show and Michael was against it. “Michael doesn’t want the kids to be on the show, but Amy disagrees,” a source told the publication.They added that Michael had been acting ‘jealous’ over the attention Amy was giving to their children.
The news of the pair’s separation comes less than a year after they welcomed their second son, Glenn, in July 2022. At the time Glenn was born, Amy said their family is complete. “The wait is finally over … Michael and I are happy to announce the birth of our son, Glenn Allen Halterman,” she shared with People. “The delivery was a huge success and now I have both of my miracle boys; our family is complete!”
Amy and Michael have known each other since they were children. During high-school, they dated for some time and then they met again and tied the knot in 2019. “We actually met when I was eight so we were dating then, but then when he turned 18, we stopped dating until recently,” Amy once explained. “He loves me and supports me. He don’t care how much I weigh, how much I lose. He don’t care. He just wants me and the babies to be healthy. He’s excited about being a dad again, [but] secretly he wanted a girl.”
Allegedly, Amy and her sons moved in with her sister Tammy, also a star of the reality show, back in February when they started experiencing marital issues.
Tammy, who had just recently exchanged vows with new husband Caleb Willingham, is allegedly not happy with Amy and her children living with her. “Tammy is happy to help Amy but feels like she is raising two kids since they’re around her home all of the time,” a source said, as reported by Daily Mail.

Dylan and Cope Sprouse have been in the spotlight almost all their lives. When they were just 8 months old, the beautiful twins with enchanting blue eyes found themselves being part of commercials, films, and TV shows. The two notably shared the role of Patrick Kelly in the series Grace Under Fire from 1993 to 1998 and became people’s favorites.
Just as the Olsen sisters, the Sprouse twins shared plenty of roles due to child labor laws that prevent children from working too many hours.

Speaking with People about Sandler, Cole said in 2022, “Perhaps I’m a bit biased because I’ve known him for ages, but I do admire his career. He’s got a really, really wonderful balance between art and commerce that I think is the currency of a real working actor.” He continued, “He’s walking that line beautifully and he’s raising up all of his friends at the same time, which I think is incredible.”

In 2020, Cole went on to play on his own when he was cast for the role of Ross Gellar’s son, played by David Schwimmer, in the iconic series Friends.
Speaking of his favorite episode, Cole revealed it was The One with the Holiday Armadillo. “I remember that quite well. I was infatuated with the costumes, and the practical effects that they had,” he said. “I’m pretty sure I fell in love with Jennifer Aniston, which the whole world had at that point. But I do remember being quite intimidated around her, because of that. I remember blanking on my lines and having kind of stage fright when she sat next to me on the couch in one episode,” Cole revealed in an interview with Today.
The brothers then shared yet another role, that of young Pistachio Disguisey in the film Master of Disguise.

However, landing The Suite Life of Zack and Cody in 2005, in which they played twin brothers who live in the lavish Tipton Hotel with their single mom, helped place them on the map as full-fledged child stars. The series ran until 2008 and was followed by The Suite Life on Deck, which ran until 2011.
Following the series, Dylan and Cope both took time off acting in order to attend university. While Dylan studied video game design, his twin brother Zack turned to humanities and archaeology.
“I needed to take a break and step outside myself, I needed a dose of reality, and I needed to see myself in a more objective point of view. And now I think I can enjoy [acting], which is a really fundamental part about being an actor,” Cole said. “I’m not saying that we didn’t enjoy that time, but it was work. It’s a career and a business, and it got me to college, which is one of the most fantastic gifts I could’ve been given. But I’m glad to be [acting] on my own accord now.”

After graduation, these handsome brothers returned to acting. Cole, who is currently dating French-Canadian model Ari Fournier, landed the role of Jughead Jones on Riverdale, and Dylan, who is engaged to the Sports Illustrated model, Barbara Palvin, started out in films like Dismissed and Banana Split.
“It’s more likely that I will write something for us to work in together, rather than someone approach us. Twin movies are never good! That’s just the universal truth I think the universe has given to us, and so if we can find the right thing then, yeah,” Dylan said in 2020.

Having done so much for them, they wanted to repay him for being an awesome teacher so they came up with the idea to surprise him with a lovely rendition of All You Need Is Love by The Beatles.
They rehearsed for a months without Landis’ knowledge and when the day of Landis’ wedding rehearsal finally arrived, they were ready to put their hard work into practice.

The moment they students walked in, Landis was overwhelmed. He couldn’t believe that “his kids,” as he refers to them, would go to such length for him. As they started singing, tears of joy started rolling down his face.

When she landed the iconic role of Tiffany Case in Diamonds Are Forever, actress Jill St. John made history by playing the first American Bond Girl ever. However, her career stared way before she landed this role and continued long afterward. Over the years, Jill starred alongside some of the most handsome men of Hollywood, including Sean Connery, Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, Robert Wagner, who is her husband of over 30 years, and even Adam West.
Jill, who was born Jill Oppenheim in 1940 in Los Angeles, signed with Universal Pictures at age 16 and made her film debut as a perky support in Summer Love (1957). Besides being extremely skilled at acting, Jill possessed plenty of other talents, as well as IQ of 162. Being a gifted child, she enrolled at UCLA at the age of 15.

“If I hadn’t stopped my education for an acting career, I would be doing something very important today. I would have been a marine biologist,” Jill told the Central Associated Press in 1971. By the time her short stay at UCLA had come to an end, she had already made guest appearances on shows such as Cavalcade of America, The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show, and Sky King.
As her acting career started early in her life, her love life has too. Jill married her first husband, Neil Dubin, at the age of just 17. Their union only lasted for a year. When she turned 19, she married her second husband, millionaire Lance Reventlow, son of Woolworth heiress Barbara Hutton. Sadly, three years into the marriage, Lance died in a devastating plane crash. “Much of Lance stayed with me,” Jill said. “We remained friends as long as he lived.”
From 1967 to 1969, gorgeous Jill was married to singer Jack Jones.

Eventually, years later, she found love again when she married fellow actor Robert Wagner.
At the time she filmed Diamond are Forever, Jill was single but was linked to several men, including South American millionaire playboy Francisco Pignatari, Italian jewelry magnet Gianna Bulgari, and American diplomat Henry Kissinger. At one point, she was even romantically linked with Frank Sinatra.

The role of Tiffany Case, a glamorous jewelry smuggler, in the 007 film, turned Jill into an actress directors fought to have in their movies. She enjoyed a lavish lifestyle and enormous popularity, but then, she wanted out of Hollywood.
“I’ve been getting tied down, and I refuse to be,” Jill said then. “I must have the full freedom to come and go as I please. My house in Beverly Hills is much too large for one person, and the responsibility of looking after it has become a stone around my neck.”
She added: “I no longer need to act in films to pay my bills. I’ve had good fortune in my investments, and I can afford to wait forever, if necessary, or a role that appeals to me.”

Jill sold her house and bought herself a new home in Aspen, Colorado.
“I took time off just to enjoy living,’ Jill said. “I worked once a year so my name wouldn’t be forgotten. And I launched my Smith-St. John sweater company. I made some investments, and I traveled all over,” she told UPI in 1983.
“The six-year respite was good for me. I love skiing, hiking, and rafting, but it got to be too much of a good thing, I began to lose touch with show business. I don’t even get television reception at my house, I read books.
“Can you believe this? I agreed to appear in an episode of Magnum. P.I and I had never seen the show. When I arrived in Hawaii, I had never laid eyes on Tom Selleck. When I returned to Aspen, I realized that I missed acting and decided to go for a full-time career again. I wanted to make a commitment to acting.”

When she returned to acting, Jill appeared in the 1982 prison drama The Concrete Jungle and later on in some cameo roles, such as in the now-classic 1989 Seinfeld episode “The Yada Yada” in which she starred alongside Robert Wagner, whom she dated at the time.
Before they started dating, Jill and Robert had already knew each other. When his wife, Natalie Wood, drowned off Catalina Island, California, Jill sent him a note and flowers. Months later, they had dinner together, and the rest is history. The two tied the knot in 1990 and are still together.

Today, Jill St. John is 82 and looking as stunning as ever, despite her age. She also showed that she is great at cooking and even appeared as a TV chef and cooking expert on Good Morning America and contributed as a food columnist for USA Weekend.
“My wife was a Bond girl, in Diamonds Are Forever,” Wagner says of her. “So I play James Bond in real life every day.”

Below are four smart methods of growing an endless supply of tomatoes.
1. Bury tomato slices
One way of growing tomatoes in your home is by cutting one tomato into slices and placing them on top of a container filled with potting soil. Once you do this, cover the slices with more soil and make sure you keep it moist. It will take around a week or two for them to sprout. Once this happens, find the strongest sprouts and put them in a separate pot in order to provide even more space for growing. Check on them every few weeks and enjoy your home-grown tomatoes.
2. Plant them in the ground
If you have a yard, plant tomato seeds directly in the ground. All you need is enough sunlight. Planting your tomatoes this way requires less watering.
3. Grow them in a Window Box
If you live in urban setting, you may want to consider growing your tomatoes in window boxes. These are ideal for growing tomatoes because they receive a lot of sun and are easy to water. The plant can be supported by a string trellis drilled into the wall. To make this strategy work, you need to use smaller tomato varieties.
4. Grow them in a Hanging Basket
Growing tomatoes in hanging baskets takes less space but more water because the water in these baskets evaporates more quickly than it does in a pot. If you choose this type of planting it would be best to choose cascade cherry tomato variety.

When we lose a member of the family, we are left grief-stricken and desperately try to find ways to cope with the sorrow and the sadness. Many of us feel a bit relieved when we visit the graves and leave mementos. We believe that’s one way of paying tribute to those who left this world.
Unfortunately, there are people out there who don’t respect even the dead. Two women from Ohio were seen stealing mementos from the New London’s Grove Street Cemetery. The grisly act was caught on the surveillance camera and the community is left in complete shock.
One of the many things these thieves stole is a flower pot a woman gave to her father back in 1977. She says it may not cost much, but to her it’s the most priceless thing as it reminds her of her late parent.
The women could be seen casually walking back and forth the cemetery, taking everything they wanted without feeling guilty for their actions. Luckily, they were very soon identified and charged with theft.
One of them was said to be elected fiscal officer in the nearby Sullivan Township, and honestly, that fact is pretty concerning. Why? Because someone holding a position of trust should have known better than stealing from dead people.
What a despicable act!
