Shannen Doherty shares another more intimate look at her battle with cancer: ‘This is what cancer can look like’

Shannen Doherty remains a symbol of resilience and courage. Recently, the Beverly Hills 90210 star opened about her battle with cancer once again and updated her fans of her condition, and unfortunately, she shared some devastating news.

Doherty’s stage four breast cancer spread to her brain.

She beat cancer once, but was diagnosed again in February 2019. Ever since, she documents her journey and speaks openly of the challenges life with cancer brings.

On Tuesday, Doherty posted a video on her Instagram account of her receiving treatment as tears filled her eyes. The caption on the video began, “January 12, 2023.”

“On January 5th, my ct scan showed Mets in my brain. Yesterdays video was showing the process of getting fitted for the mask which you wear during radiation to your brain,” the caption reads. “January 12, the first round of radiation took place.

“My fear is obvious. I am extremely claustrophobic and there was a lot going on in my life,” Doherty, 52, wrote. “I am fortunate as I have great doctors like Dr Amin (Mirhadi) and the amazing techs at cedar sinai. But that fear…. The turmoil….. the timing of it all…. This is what cancer can look like.”

A day before, she posted a throwback video from January on which she was getting fitted for a thermoplastic mask that covered her face and neck.

In another video, taken on January 16, the actress says, “January 16, 2023. Surgery. I had a tumor in my head they wanted to remove and also biopsy.”

She could then be heard speaking off-camera to a woman, probably a nurse, who’s checking on her limbs and tells her what to expect post-op.

“I am clearly trying to be brave but I am petrified,” Doherty wrote. “The fear was overwhelming to me. Scared of all possible bad outcomes, worried about leaving my mom and how that would impact her. Worried that I would come out of surgery not me anymore.”

Doherty’s friends showed their support and posted encouraging messages.

Director Kevin Smith sent her a heartfelt message calling her his “irreplaceable friend.” “Rooting for you, my irreplaceable friend. You have been such a fearless fighter your whole life, so it’s understandable to be a little scared from time to time. But when those moments pass, let that indomitable Doherty spirit take over anew. I love you so much, my Mallrat,” he wrote.

Selma Blair wished for “wise peace” to find Shannen Dohety amid her cancer battle. Sarah Michelle Gellar was among those who came out in support for the Charmed actress.

Doherty herself posted a series of photos from her friends, including Gellar and thank them for their immense support. In a previous post, the actress referred to her mother as to “a beacon of light, an endless well of support and love, and one of my favorite humans.”

Following her initial diagnosis in 2015, Doherty sued her former manager of leaving her without health insurance which caused a delay in doctors diagnosing her with breast cancer. It was later revealed that she has reached a settlement.

We truly hope Shannen Doherty would end up the winner in her battle against cancer.

Woman left instructions for the repairman but he decided not to listen

The truth is that men don’t always listen! No matter what you say, they still do what they believe is the right thing.

Sadly, this was true for a handyman who went to fix a woman’s dishwasher. Of course, when these people do repairmen in other people’s houses, they never really knew what they will stumble upon. But this particular handyman was given clear instructions on what not to do that particular day.

Read the story below.

Laura’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told the repairman, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you a check.

“Oh, by the way, don’t worry about my bulldog, Bob. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT, under ANY circumstances, talk to my parrot! I repeat, do not talk to my parrot!”

When the repairman arrived at Laura’s apartment the following day, he discovered the biggest, meanest looking bulldog he has ever seen. But, just as she had said, the dog just lay there on the carpet watching the repairman go about his work.

The parrot, however, drove him nuts the whole time with his incessant yelling, cursing, and name-calling.

Finally, the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up you stupid, ugly bird!”

To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Bob!”

Below is a simple yet powerful recipe made with only three ingredients; Honey, turmeric, and some black pepper.

1 teaspoon powdered turmeric
2 tbsp pure honey (raw honey preferred) a pinch freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:
Combine 1 teaspoon turmeric powder and 2 tablespoons honey in a small bowl. Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste. The black pepper boosts the bioavailability of turmeric’s curcumin, helping your body to absorb it more effectively.

Thoroughly combine:

Stir the ingredients together thoroughly until they form a smooth paste.
Pour the mixture into an airtight jar or container for storage. To maintain freshness, store in a cool, dry place, ideally the refrigerator.

Application:

As a natural antibiotic: Take 1 teaspoon of turmeric honey if you have symptoms of a cold or infection to improve your immune system and reduce inflammation.

A man went to visit his 90-year-old grandfather in a very secluded rural area of the state he lived in.

After spending the night, his grandfather prepared breakfast for him consisting of eggs and bacon.

He noticed a film-like substance on his plate and he questioned his grandfather, “Are these plates clean?”

His grandfather replied, “Those plates are as clean as cold water can get them, so go on and finish your meal.”

That afternoon, while eating the hamburgers his grandfather made for lunch, he noticed tiny specks around the edge of his plate and a substance that looked like dried egg yokes, so he asks again, “Are you sure these plates are clean?”

Without looking up from his hamburger, the grandfather says, “I told you before; those dishes are as clean as cold water can get them. Now don’t ask me about it anymore!”

Later that afternoon, he was on his way out to get dinner in a nearby town. As he was leaving, his grandfather’s dog started to growl and wouldn’t let him pass so he said, “Grandfather, your dog won’t let me out.”

Without diverting his attention from the football game he was watching on TV his grandfather shouted, “Cold Water, Go lay down!”

Marie Osmond accused of looking like Kim Kardashian after plastic surgery rumors

Through her singing and incredible vocals, as well as her dancing, acting, and authorship, Marie Osmond became a superstar years ago.

The only girl among the eight brothers, Marie joined the group Osmond Brothers when she was just four. She, however, wasn’t a regular during the group’s television performances through the 1960s. At the age of 12, Marie started her solo career and had her first recording session which she later described as terrifying. “It was a full orchestra and rhythm section. I was the only Osmond girl, what if I failed?” she told Daily Mail in 2015. “So I threw up! Then I went in and sang.”

At the age of just 14, Marie released the single Paper Roses which reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart. From that moment on, her career flourished and she has remained part of the industry for over six decades.

In 1975, she and brother Donny teamed up for the TV show Donny & Marie where the two sang and co-hosted. The show which hosted famous names like Chuck Berry, Paul Anka, Sonny & Cher and Olivia Newton-John always ended with the siblings signing May Tomorrow Be a Perfect Day.

From 2008 up until 2019, the singing duo performed at the Flamingo Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Marie, just like her mom, had many children. She was married three times, twice to the same husband, basketball player Steve Lyle Craig. The two had one child, son Stephen Jr.

With second husband Brian Blosil, Marie had two biological and five adopted children, making her a mom of eight.

She and Brian lost son Michael to suicide in 2010. Her fans were surprised to see her getting back on stage just weeks after the tragic incident.

Marie recalled the moment she learned of her son’s passing. She had just finished a performance at the Flamingo Las Vegas when she got a call from her security guard back home. He told her that some people from the Coroner’s office were there to see her.

“I knew it was Mike,” Marie told Oprah later in an interview.

Marie reunited onstage with her brother during one of Danny’s Las Vegas shows in November last year.

The duo performed their hit song I’m A Little Bit Country, I’m A Little Bit Rock’ N’ Roll together. With the caption “Together Again” Donny posted a photo of him and his sister.

He said: “Words cannot express how great it was to see my sweet sister at my show on Saturday night at Harrah’s Las Vegas.

“During the Request Segment of my show, someone yelled out, ‘Sing I’m A Little Bit Country, I’m A Little Bit Rock & Roll.’ I went out to the booth where Marie was sitting, and we sang our theme song once again together. The crowd went wild. I wish everyone could have seen it. I’ll remember that moment for the rest of my life. Thank you, Sis. I love you.”

Marie released her latest album, Unexpected, in 2021.

“This is my sixth decade of working and to be a female that’s been able to work every year consistently has just been mind-boggling to me and very much appreciated by my fans,” she told the Toledo Blade. “This album I did strictly to push myself. Some people play multiple instruments, I do multiple singing styles.

“As a child, I was the weird Osmond because I enjoyed all different kinds of music,” she continued. “Yes, I’m country; that’s what I chose to be, but it was very easy for me to sing pop because my brothers did. But I loved country, and I loved the realism and the lyrics, and I loved that women could have lives and children and families and still have a career.”

Along being a successful musician, Marie has also created the product line MD Complete, designed to provide skin care results at dermatologist-level.

She claims she uses her line and that’s the reason behind her youthful looks.

“I’ve been in entertainment for years, under bright lights and wearing heavy makeup so my skin needs a little extra help,” she explained.

“[The line] matches laser treatments—this product is like laser in a bottle,” Marie added. “The side-by-side images of what it can do are amazing.”

Marie has also admitted of undergoing an in-office treatment and a single plastic surgery when she went under the knife to reduce the size of her breasts. “I had very large breasts,” Marie revealed in 2013. “I had a breast reduction. I was my mother’s daughter. I was, like, twenty-something. When I did Sound of Music, all they did was talk about the hills were alive! That’s all they saw were my boobs. I was like an E cup.”

However, besides the singer’s claims that she had never done any procedures on her face, her fans believe just the opposite.

In December of last year, Marie posted a photo of herself and she resembled a completely different person.

“As women, our bodies change as we age, and it’s not as easy to lose weight anymore,” Marie Osmond captioned her post. “What worked before may not work anymore. That’s why I teamed up with the experts @nutrisystem to help develop a plan specifically for Women ages 55+.”

Her fans were far from happy with her new looks, with one of them writing that she’s “one step away from looking like Michael Jackson.”

“Never thought Marie Osmond Would be so [vain] to mess up her once beautiful face!” another person wrote, as reported by Yahoo.

“OK, you’re a beautiful woman! Stop putting all those fillers into your lips,” a third added.

“That don’t even look like you! You must [have] had [too] many facelifts,” someone claimed.

“You look like Kim Kardashian now,” was another comment.

Marie hasn’t responded to the accusations but we honestly believe that as long as she feels good in her skin, she can do whatever she pleases.

Mom causes heated debate by putting young daughter on leash at grocery store

There is no such a thing as perfect parenting. What works with one child, doesn’t feel right with another, it all depends on the child’s character and how his or her parents want that child to be raised.

The truth is that, oftentimes, parents are judged because of their parenting style which is dubbed by others as wrong.

A mother named Alexis Solis, a former behavioral analysis therapist, received backlash by social media users after she released a video of herself and her daughter going shopping. The reason why is that her child was on a leash.

In no time, Alexis, who is from Los Banos, California, triggered a heated argument online as her video reached over 12 million views.

This mother of two claims she utilizes her online presence to spread awareness of child endangerment.

“I’m tired of the world being this way but I’m never tired of protecting my girls,” she captioned the clip on which she could be seen attaching a leash on her daughter’s hand.

“I’m okay looking like a crazy mom. As long as my babies are safe and thanks to everyone I freaking love this thing.”

As expected, she was attacked by many social media users who questioned her parenting.

“I hope they leash her when she’s 50,” one person wrote.

“I hate those,” another added.

However, in a follow up video, Alexis clarified that the leash is ideal for kids who have a tendency to run away.

“I used to work with children on the spectrum. I don’t share this about myself very often, but I was an ABA therapist,” she said.

“Something that’s common with children who have autism is they do tend to elope. If you’re not familiar with what elopement is, that’s when a child tends to wander off or run away from the parent or the environment.

“Now, this can be very traumatic for both the child and the parent. I know that if I had this device when I was working with families, this would have made life so much safer.”

Teen finds fossils on family land: Paleontologists are helping her dig up more!

Lindsey Stallworth is a young lady from Alabama who loves picking up fossils on her farm in Monroe County. In fact, this is something she has done since as long as she remembers.

The thing is that she has never been fully aware of the importance of those fossils until one day she found a bigger one and decided to share the news about her discovery with her math and science teacher Dr. Andrew Gentry.

Dr. Gentry is a paleontologist. When he took a look at Lindsey’s latest found, he was intrigued and wanted to learn more about the fossils she has gathered throughout the years and the place where she found them.

“I immediately recognized one of the fossil shark teeth Lindsey showed me, and I wanted to know more about where she found it,” Dr. Gentry said, according to Fox 8 News.

Lindsey was happy to welcome her teacher on her family’s farm. The two started exploring the place, and it wasn’t long before they stumbled upon and incredible discovery, a large bone from a 34 million-year-old whale skeleton.

This discovery led to a huge project of uncovering the rest of the bones, and after around two months, the pair was able to acquire the animal’s skull.

“If the complete skeleton is there, it could take several years before we have the entire animal back in the lab,” Dr. Gentry explained.

In order to be able to keep discovering the fossils, Lindsey obtained a research fellowship.

She could have never imagined that her hobby would turn into something this serious. “We would go out and pick up shark teeth and fossil shells, but we never knew anyone that could tell us anything about them,” she recalled. “We just thought they were cool.”

Her teacher believes that this fellowship would be of great use for Lindsay’s future.

“The Research Fellows Program allows Lindsey to gain real-world experience in scientific research and even present that research at professional conferences,” he said. “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a high school student to stand out when applying to college and maybe even discover a new career path.”

Massive 12-foot python slithers through toilet, startles homeowner

I guess that at some point in your life most of you feared the thought of a snake coming out of your toilet. And although this sounds like something not possible, that’s exactly what happened to a woman from Thailand named Suwi Paramas.

This housewife from the city of Samut Prakan has just used the toilet and went on to wash her hands when she noticed a snake’s head lurking from the toilet bowl.

She froze at first and then she started screaming from the top of her lungs. Her husband and her brother-in-law, who happened to be home at the time, rushed towards her, unaware of what could have happened.

When they saw the snake, they immediately left the home and contacted emergency services.

”I was so scared. I couldn’t even watch why they were catching the snake. It could have killed me,” Suwi said, according to News Flare.

The wildlife crew arrived to the family’s house as quick as possible and determined that the snake in question was a python. They tried to take it out using special instruments, but they soon realized that it would take a lot of time and a lot of effort to release the snake because it was stuck.

As pythons are pretty large snakes, it was hard for this one to be pulled out.

Their next step was breaking the porcelain basin, but that didn’t help either as the python was stuck in the u-bend, a curved piece of the plumbing.

In order to assure the safety of both the snake and the plumbing system, the team took apart the pipework and tried rescuing the snake from the other side.

Luckily, nothing went wrong this time and the snake was taken out safely.

Upon measuring it, it was determined that the snake was 12-foot long.

Following its rescue, the reptile was released into its natural habitat.

This isn’t the first time that people report snakes to be coming out of their toilet.

Back in 2021, somewhere in Southeast Asia, a man got bitten in the butt by a snake while using the toilet. In another similar incident which took place in 2016, a Thai man got bitten by the penis by a 10-foot long python and was sent to the hospital.

14-yr-old girl babysits niece, then mom receives chilling text from locked bathroom

Not all heroes wear capes, some of them come in the form of quick-thinking 14-year-olds.

While a teenage girl from Southern California named Savannah Jones was taking care of her 4-year-old niece Zoyee, someone started knocking on the front door. Savannah knew they weren’t expecting anyone over so she became suspicious.

But it was when the knocking became louder and louder that this girl realized she and the little one could be in trouble, and sadly, she was right.

Getting extremely worried for the safety of her niece, as well as of her own, she quickly grabbed the toddler and they both entered the bathroom and locked the door. Once in, Savannah could hear the man entering the house.

“I was very scared,” Savannah later told the reporter in the video below. “Not so much for myself, but just Zoyee.”

From the text the teen sent to her mom it could be seen that it was indeed Zoyee’s safety that was most important to Savannah during those terrifying moments of fear and uncertainty.

When she received her daughter’s text messages, Savannah’s mom, Maria Muratalla, was stuck in traffic. She described the moment as gut-wrenching and all she wanted at that moment was to be with the girls.

But Maria wasn’t completely powerless. She called a neighbor who immediately called 911.

Until police arrived, Savannah and Zoyee stayed locked inside the bathroom. They could hear the man roaming around the house, and Savannah did all in her power to calm Zoyee and make her stay quiet.

Thanks to Savannah’s quick reaction, the man left the house without ever finding them.

Father outraged over compulsory sex education lessons, pulls daughter from school

Michael Doherty, a 50-year-old resident of Suffolk, made a decision to remove his daughter from the primary school she attended because of what he claims to be highly inappropriate lessons on sexual educations not suit for children her age.

He requested to see the teaching materials his daughter and her classmates were taught at Thurston Primary School and was left in shock from the lessons included and the way they were presented to the students.

In fact, these teaching materials have been part of the program for a couple of years now but parents weren’t able to see them. The reason for this, according to the school, was the coronavirus pandemic which prevented the facility from sharing specifics about the lessons with parents.

The lessons, which are mandatory in schools around UK, indicate that the nine-year-old students are being taught about orgasms and even anal sex.

Following his demand for clarification and upon asking to withdraw his daughter Sofia from the school, he was told that he couldn’t do such a thing “because it is important that all children receive this content. Covering topics such as friendships and how to stay safe.”

The headteacher’s letter to Mr. Doherty asserted that the school followed a national curriculum for PSHE relationships, but this only added to his concerns because in reality, no such national curriculum exists for this purpose. What’s most, he learned that a controversial BBC video shown to the students during lesson time, as well as other teaching resources, have been provided to the school by an external charity called the PSHE Association.

This revelation only added to the importance of having parents involved in the decision making processes regarding the materials distributed in class.

I feel as a parent they were quite hostile to me. You’re treated like some sort of prude. But I think you need to speak up,” Mr. Doherty said.

The video in question depicted a boy experiencing a wet dream, getting an erection, and ejaculating, something this concerned father found highly inappropriate for four graders. Although the video was later taken off of the website, Sofia’s teacher denied that the video had any sexual nature—claiming that his daughter’s year group was not being taught sex education.

Mr. Doherty, however, argued that the school needed to ask for parental consent before exposing the students to that type of videos.

“It’s really, really weird what’s going on in schools. Why is my daughter being shown a video of wet dreams? The teacher’s reason was so that when she’s an adult she doesn’t go ”eurgh” when she hears about wet dreams. It’s all very bizarre. It’s over-sexualization of children,” he said.

“Children are coming out of schools illiterate and they are doing this stuff. As a parent, it just feels wrong. The video is really strange and disgusting. It’s a really creepy and vile video. I don’t want my child to see a vile, disgusting video that [is] being pushed into primary schools. I have been vindicated because the BBC took the video off their site,” he continued.

When he asked from the school to withdraw his daughter they rejected his request initially, but he was later able to take her out of the school. At the time being, Sofia is spending her time with her family in Poland before she attends another school. Her parents even consider homeschooling as an option.

Below is the school’s sex education plan.

Since September 2020, Relationships Education has become compulsory in primary schools, and RSE is now mandatory in secondary schools. Sadly, this led to confusion among teachers who sought guidance on the subject, but the void ended being filled up with materials from charities that have unconventional views on biological gaps.

Mr. Doherty described the teaching of PSHE and RSE as a “sausage factory.”

“School should be a safe place for education. Sadly we cannot trust the judgment of some school leaders. As for other parents, most are sadly ignorant of what is being shown to children in the school setting. Maybe if they were aware [of] the potential damage to their children, they would take the same steps as I did,” he said.

A spokesperson from the Department for Education stated, “The safety and well-being of children and young people is our top priority.”

“Following reports of inappropriate materials being used to teach relationships and sex education, the government has already brought forward an urgent review of the curriculum and is looking at introducing age ratings to make sure teaching materials are appropriate. The Education Secretary has also written to schools to reiterate that parents have a right to view teaching materials and copyright law does not prevent a parent from viewing external resources on school premises.” they added.

The spokesperson for Thurston Church of England Primary Academy said that the PSHE curriculum taught at the school adheres to the statutory guidance provided by the Department for Education’s policy on Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), and Health Education.

“The curriculum follows the PSHE Association program of study – which is government-funded and quality assured by the educational body to ensure it meets statutory requirements. The BBC Bitesize video was included in the resources but has since been withdrawn by the BBC. The school will be reviewing its materials.”

Peppermint has various benefits. Whether we use it to have a fresh breath, or to ease our headaches, it’s something every household has. The minty taste is really refreshing and I guess we all love the feeling of coolness it gives us.

But as it turns out, not everyone enjoys the nice smell, and that’s some good news. Mice and other pests hate the smell of peppermint.

They are neither fond of its sharpness and sweetness, and that means we can use it as an all natural, no-kill way to get rid of those unwanted visitors that decided to make our home theirs too.

This is a really nice way of expelling rodents out of your place if you are against animal cruelty and don’t want to kill them using traps. Plus, your home will smell really nice.

Bulk Herb Stores’s Shoshanna’s Kitchen presents some ways of using peppermint for the purpose of having your home free of mice.

One of them, and I guess the less demanding one, is to plant some peppermint plants and place them around the place. You may as well use the fresh leaves for cooking.

Another useful method is to drop some dried peppermint in socks, tie them off and put them at places where you think the mice and the pests may be gathering, such as holes and gaps.

The third method is to make a peppermint spray. It’s easy and it may also help you keep the air inside fresh. All you need is to boil water and put dry peppermint inside. Homeless dog keeps sneaking into nursing home, and the end result is just precious!

One morning, the residents of a nursing home were stunned by the sight of a dog curled up on a couch.

It turned out that the sweet animal belonged to the local animal shelter, but somehow, it managed to leave the place and sneak into the nursing home.

Despite the numerous attempts to get it back to the shelter, the dog always found a way to return to the nursing home. Somehow, it was like it knew it belonged there.

The bond between the animal and the residents became strong over time, so the administrator of the facility, Marna Robertson, decided to take matters in her own hands and give it a permanent home.

The dog, who was named Scout, was officially adopted by the nursing home. The effect of Scout becoming part of the facility was immediate. The residents were happy to have him around and spent plenty of time petting him and spending time with him.

As playful as he has been, Scout changed the lives of those around him by providing them with affection and comfort.

What stunned many was Scout’s ability to sense when someone was nearing the end of their lives. In those cases, he would snuggle up next to them and would sleep either on their bed or somewhere near them.

The story of Scout has spread around and touched the hearts of many. But he didn’t only change his life and those of the residents, but of the rest of the animals at the shelter as well.

The nurses at the facility organized a fundraiser in Scout’s honor and managed to raise hundreds of dollars for the animal shelter.

How Scout ended up at the animal shelter in the first place is still unknown. He could be a stray dog, or someone who used to have an owner. What is known, however, is that he finally found a home and purpose.

Having true friends in your life is a blessing.

25- year-old Ty Burningham of Davis County, Utah, is one lucky man. Why you may wonder. Well, it’s because he plenty of friends and is loved by everyone in the community.

The thing is that Ty has special needs, but that doesn’t prevent him from bringing joy whenever he goes.

Those who know him describe him as a chatty young man who is friendly to everyone he meets.

Among his friends are local teens Maddie Weger and Hunter Garrett, who have just graduated from Davis High School. Speaking of Ty, they say they enjoy his company and love spending time with him.

“He’s just so friendly to everyone,” Maddie told KSL. “Like my mom met him in Bowman’s once, and he came over and talked to her for like 30 minutes.”

“He’s got that personality where it’s like, you see him, you just can’t not smile, you know?” Hunter added. “He just lights up a room everywhere he is.”

In order to show him how special he is to them and to the community, the two young man, together with eight other friends, decided to surprise Ty for his birthday with a brand new electric scooter. He does drive his old scooter around, and it was just the time for a new one.

When he saw what they did for him, Ty said, “Aw, sweet!”

With a huge grin on his face, he couldn’t wait to try the scooter.

As of his friends, they said it was the least they could do for their special buddy.

“It’s not that big, but Ty, we just love him,” Raef Thomas, one of the teens, said.

This surprise was well deserved for everything Ty does for the people from the neighborhood every single day.

This time, she posted a video on TikTok of her donkey receiving a rubber chicken and it’s safe to say that the animal’s reaction is beyond adorable.

Once it spots the toy, the donkey comes running and grabs it in its mouth making repeated squeaky sounds as it squeezes it over and over again. He then proceeds by throwing the toy and running to it to get it again.

Horror mistake leaves woman unable to close her eyes – read her warning…

A number of people would go great lengths to enhance their appearance and that is the reason why plastic surgeries are becoming a common practice everywhere in the world.

Sadly, these procedures aren’t always successful and leave permanent damage and deformation on the face.

The story of former runner-up in miss Russia beauty contest, Yulia Tarasevich, is the perfect proof of plastic surgery going wrong.

When she decided to go under the knife, Yulia opted for the best clinic and got in touch with whom she believed was the best surgeon for the job. For the procedure she had undergone in the Russian city of Krasnodar, she paid $4,000, as reported by East2West News.

Unfortunately, the former beauty queen, 43, was botched.

Speaking to Channel 1, as quoted by the New York Post, Yulia said that the surgeon turned her “beautiful, healthy face” into somewhat of a nightmare.

“I came to them with a beautiful, healthy face. I just wanted to correct some nuances caused by aging,” Yulia, a mother of two, said. “But sadly, I lost my health.”

The procedures she had included facelift surgery, removing excess skin of the eyelids, known as a blepharoplasty, and a cheek fat reduction. Sadly, she was left “disfigured.”

What followed were a number of emergency follow-up surgeries during which doctors fought to save her eyes, which she couldn’t close at the time, from necrosis, which is the death of the cells in body tissues.

“I have scars that formed in my cheeks when they ripped out all my tissue,” she told Channel 1, the New York Post reported. “My eyes don’t close, and I can’t smile. I can’t lift my upper lip. One part of my face doesn’t work at all.”

“I went quietly to the operation, firstly, because all my tests were in order,” she added. “Secondly, because I had plastic surgery before this, I did rhinoplasty, and it went perfectly for me, without any genetic abnormalities.”

Yulia claimed the initial surgeries left her scleroderma, a rare genetic condition that causes skin hardening, and sued the two surgeons who performed the procedures, Dr. Andrey Komarov and Dr. Omar Khaled, of not doing their job right.

She, however, didn’t provide a prof that she suffered from the disease.

“I went quietly to the operation, firstly, because all my tests were in order. Secondly, because I had plastic surgery before this, I did rhinoplasty, and it went perfectly for me, without any genetic abnormalities,” the Russian beauty queen said.

“The surgeons made me the only one guilty for what has happened,” she added. “The doctors, who disfigured my face, relieved themselves of all responsibility. I decided to have my day in court.”

The follow-up procedures cost Yulia $27,000. Dr. Omar Khaled called it “exaggerated” but the Russian Investigative Committee began investigating the two doctors on the procedure.

“A forensic medical examination has been appointed to determine the severity of the harm to health, and other patients who could have suffered from poor-quality services in this clinic are also being identified,” spokeswoman Anna Pushkina said. “The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.”

Yulia thanked her followers for their support.

“Hi, my friends. I would like to really thank each and every one of you who support me. Thanks to each an every one of you from the bottom of my heart,” she wrote.

Following detailed investigation, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Krasnodar Territory charged Dr. Andrey Komarov over the procedure which left Yulia severely harmed.

The office said he provided services that “did not meet the requirements of consumer health and safety.”

If found guilty, he could face up to 6 years in prison and would be required to pay $5,000.

The doctor is also facing a civil case as Yulia sued him for suffering from depression after the surgery. She was unable to close her eyelids or smile because her face was assymetrical.

Criminal goes viral because of black eyeball tattoo: Everything you need to know about Jason Barnum

When then 37-year-old Jason Barnum entered the courtroom and pleaded guilty to shooting a police officer in Anchorage, Alaska, it wasn’t the crime he committed that had people talking about him, but the tattoo that filled the white of his right eye.

Barnum earned himself the nickname “Eyeball” and became an overnight sensation.

However, as it was reported that he started serving his long sentence, a rumor emerged that he was in fact the son of one of America’s most beloved actors.

It was in 2012 that Barnum fired a gun at an officer after they entered the hotel room he was staying in following an investigation of break-ins in vehicles and burglaries in the south of Anchorage.

The officers exited the hotel room, shooting back at Barnum, and soon, many other police officers joined in. The police evacuated guests from the hotel. Not long after, SWAT officers were at the scene.

The shot officer only sustained injuries, and Barnum received a sentence of over 20 years for what he did.

The police found jewelry and other valuables in a backpack in the hotel room. It was later determined that Barnum had gone on a crime spree. He stole cars and entered people’s homes looking for money to be able to buy heroin.

He was arraigned on one count of attempted murder and two counts of felony assault and his bail was set at $500,000. When asked if he understood what he was charged of and if he wanted an attorney, he simply answered, “Sure, why not.”

Barnum was a criminal known to the police who had been accused and convicted of 14 crimes prior to his last one.

The moment he entered the courtroom, all eyes were on him because of his distinctive looks. His body was covered in tattoos, but the one that attracted most attention was the one in his eye. The white of his right eyeball was tattooed in black.

Although it’s not uncommon to witness those sorts of tattoos nowadays, back in the day that was something rather new and unusual.

“I think Jason Barnum decided a long time ago that his life was about being hostile to people,” Anchorage Police Department Chief Mark Mew told local reporters. “It seems to me that he wakes up everyday wanting to do bad things to innocent folks and wants everybody to know it.”

Barnum claimed that he was forced to become a criminal after he failed to find a job because of his tattoos.

“I was living on the streets, and I tried to get a job, but of course, my beautiful face didn’t allow me to do that,” Barnum said during the hearing.

However, although he took most part of the blame on himself, he also blamed the Alaska Department of Corrections for not providing any help for him after leaving prison in 2010. “I tried man, I apolozige to the folks who are hurt from this.”

Before the sentence was given, Police Chief Officer Mark Mew spoke on that subject.

“I’m going to stick my neck out here and state the obvious. I’d like you to take a look at Mr. Barnum. He has the right to do this to himself and to express himself,” he said. “We can’t sentence him for that, but I think we can consider a guy’s attitude and his behavior.

Today, not much is known about “Eyeball,” but allegedly, he’s been serving his sentence at the Spring Creek Correctional Center in Seward, Alaska.

When the public expressed interest about Barnum during his trial in 2012, a rumor started spreading around that he could be the son of Hollywood star Harrison Ford.

The Indiana Jones star showed up next to “Eyeball” Barnum in a Revcontent article titled “Harrison Ford has pretty much given up on his son.”

However, it was soon revealed that the rumor wasn’t true at all.

Powerful: Billionaire Mark Cuban’s advice to his daughter is something we could all learn from

There comes a time in life when we find ourselves at a crossroad and don’t know what to do next. During these times, it’s important that we have someone to turn to, whether that someone is a parent, a family member, or a friend we trust.

For Alexis Cuban, that person is her mogul father Mark Cuban, the owner of Dallas Mavericks and an investor on Shark Tank.

Being a billionaire and an extremely successful businessman, his words of wisdom for his daughter can come in handy for any of us.

Speaking to GQ, Cuban explained that his daughter, who is a sophomore in college, admitted how she isn’t sure what she wants for her future.

His advice to her was rather simple. “You don’t have to know what you’re going to be.”

“Everybody goes through that process of trying to figure out who they are,” he explained. “What you’ve got to be able to do is be agile and excited about learning to be curious. That’s what’s most important. If you’re curious, and you’re agile, you’ll get there eventually. It might not happen when you want it to, but you’ll get there eventually.”

I believe this is something we should all have in mind.

Mother of 4 scalped in seconds after simple mistake – now she’s warning all women

Issues with our vehicles usually mean spending a bunch of money on repairs. This is the reason why most of us try to locate the problem ourselves before asking from a professional to handle it.

If the issue is minor, we can save money, and that’s probably the main reason why we don’t call a mechanic right away.

Unfortunately, such a decision could cost one woman her life.

Alon Abare experienced horrific injuries one day after she made a choice to check on her car herself. This mother of four was scalped after her hair was caught under a fan belt as she leaned into the hood to check for a mechanical problem.

She felt excruciating pain and started screaming as hard as she could, still unaware of what had happened to her.

Luckily, her children heard her cries for help and acted very quickly, ending up saving their mother’s life.

Abare’s son Sam turned off the engine and her daughter Logan caught her hair free with scissors.

“They were focused, and they were driven by… you know, I think they wanted to save their mom,” Abare told Inside Edition.

She was lucky she was still alive, but her recovery has been a long and a painful one. She incurred outrageous medical expenses as a result of the incident, but the worst of all was the though that her children could be left without a mother.

Abare is now trying to warn women of the dangers of similar situations.

One of the most important things to do when checking on your car is to make sure you pull your hair back.

Truth be told, despite the age limit of 21 for consuming alcoholic beverages, many students are curious to have a drink or two even before that. This is one of the reasons why many of them try to smuggle alcohol on their prom night although they are perfectly aware they are not supposed to.

So how can someone get away with bringing in alcohol at school?

A girl named Eleanor managed to do this in a very wise manner. Well, it’s not that we advice any minor to do so, but her clever idea did take the Internet by storm.

Namely, she and a couple of other friends took a photo of themselves, and Eleanor, believe it or not, had a hip flask “hidden” in plain sight and yet, no one was able to notice it.

What she did was use the huge flask as a detail to her overall looks and had it in her hands instead of a clutch bag. As the flask was a metallic one, it did resemble a woman’s bag.

What’s most, her intention of smuggling alcohol at school wouldn’t be exposed if she hadn’t exposed herself.

No one knows if there was indeed alcohol inside Eleanor’s flask, but it’s certain that she was very proud for pulling her plan off.

“Still don’t know how I got away with a huge hip flask as my prom clutch,” she wrote on on X (previously Twitter).

Allegedly, she had purchased the flask at Tiger for $12.
