Shannen Doherty, star of Beverly Hills, died aged 53 following her nine-year battle with breast cancer.
“It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty,” her publicist, Leslie Sloane, told People. “The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie. The family asks for their privacy at this time so they can grieve in peace,” Sloane continued.

Doherty had openly shared her fight with breast cancer, announcing in 2015 that she was receiving treatment. By 2023, she had surgery to remove a brain tumor and revealed that the cancer had metastasized to her bones. The actress, known for her role in the film Heathers, became widely popular on 90210 as Brenda, an honor roll student from Minnesota trying to fit in with her affluent classmates.
Speaking of her diagnosis, Doherty told People in November 2023, “I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better. I’m just not — I’m not done.”
Despite her struggles, she was always determined to continue working. “People just assume that it means you can’t walk, you can’t eat, you can’t work. They put you out to pasture at a very early age —‘You’re done, you’re retired,’ and we’re not,” she said, adding “We’re vibrant, and we have such a different outlook on life. We are people who want to work and embrace life and keep moving forward.”

Doherty remained a symbol of resilience and courage.
Before her passing, the Charmed star aimed to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, demonstrating that individuals with terminal cancer, like herself, still have much to contribute.
“When you ask yourself, ‘Why me? Why did I get cancer?’ and then ‘Why did my cancer come back? Why am I stage 4?,’ that leads you to look for the bigger purpose in life,” she said.
Doherty maintained a steady career and even explored reality television with the short-lived show Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty and as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.
In 2019, she joined the TV reboot of Beverly Hills, 90210, reprising her iconic role of Brenda.
Despite being aware of her diagnosis, she kept it hidden from the cast following the unexpected death of her co-star Luke Perry in March 2019 at the age of 52.
She first entered Hollywood as a child star on the TV series Little House on the Prairie.
The actress has recently ventured into podcasting, hosting her own show, Let’s Be Clear whose latest episode was released on July 8.

It seems that Meghan Markle has never been a much loved member of the British Royal Family, and her and Harry’s decision to step down from their royal duties led to increased scrutiny and criticism from various quarters.
Recently, she was accused of trying to steal the spotlight when she presented a product from her newly founded company at the same time Kate Middleton made her first public appearance at Trooping the Colour.
While Harry is said to be “petrified” of losing Meghan and misses his UK friends, Meghan doesn’t seem to be interested in mending the relationship with his family.
Since Megxit, the Sussexes haven’t visited the UK much.
They did attend the late Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, and Harry visited his father amid his battle with cancer on a few occasions, but that’s about it.

The two were said to have reached out to Kate Middleton after her planned abdominal surgery and then again after she disclosed her cancer diagnosis with the public, but they haven’t met in person. Reportedly, both Harry and Meghan heard of Kate’s condition through the news and not directly from their family members.
However, despite the fact that bridges have been burnt, some royal experts believe that the Prince and Princess of Wales are willing to bury the hatchet with the Sussexes.
According to royal author Tom Quinn, Kate and William were open to the idea of inviting Harry and Meghan, as well as their children, to visit England but Meghan wasn’t too keen on the idea and passed on the offer.
“There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK,” Quinn told the Mirror in early April. One of the reasons is that she’s concerned for their safety.

“William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to make up, but the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far,” Quinn wrote at the time.
“It’s now got to the point where Meghan doesn’t want to come to the UK with the children. She just doesn’t feel safe. The situation is now about whether the family should attend with increased security or Harry should go it alone,” a source told the Mirror.
Harry reportedly begged his wife to reconsider, saying, “I don’t want to do this alone” when he visited Britain to attend a special Invictus Games service at St Paul’s Cathedral.
“Harry doesn’t want to keep making solo trips to the UK,” the source continued. “He would prefer it if the entire family made regular visits to see his family and build bridges, but there is so much going on behind the scenes that it just isn’t possible at the moment.”

Another reason why Meghan avoids any returns to the UK is that she doesn’t want to “be thrown back into an anxiety-fueled visit to England where she feels like she’s not wanted.”
Certain royal experts suggest that Meghan has made quite the u-turn and is said to be “ready to sit down” with the royal family and make things right. However, the reason may not be the one many expect it to be. On the contrary, as per a royal commentator, she might be willing to bury the hatchet for the sake of “selling her jam.”
Royal expert Angela Levin claimed the Duchess is “still genuinely hurt” by how the “royal family treated her.”
“She’s still genuinely hurt by how she was treated by the Royal Family – this is four years on,” Levin told GB News. “And she wants to now at last sit down and talk through things” but she does expect an apology for how she and Harry were treated in the past.

“We know that means she wants the Royal Family, King Charles and everyone else to make an apology, but they don’t,” Levin continued. “The person who should apologise is really her, but they don’t want that.”
“She’s also trying to get Beatrice and Eugenie, who’s on top of her list, to get people to help her sell her jams. And she’s really hoping that King Charles might take one, too,” the royal expert concluded.
“It comes from quite a good source, and that would be her excuse to go there, she wanted to make sure everything was nice, but it’s also a way of selling her products.”

The question of Prince George’s education is something the public is very interested in, and allegedly, the Prince and Princess of Wales are not on the same page when it comes to the choice of school for their eldest son.
Unfortunately, Kate Middleton’s perspective is rooted in her own childhood experiences, and she is determined to prevent George from facing the same challenges she did.
When Kate Middleton’s parents started their company, Party Pieces, the future Princess was just a five-year-old girl. The company was a huge success and the Middletons were able to provide good education to their children, including Kate, who was sent to the all-girls boarding school Downe House for which her parents paid around £28,000 pounds in tuition. Sadly, that didn’t turn out to be the best decision as Kate experienced a very hard time there. According to her former classmates, she was often teased and bullied and she felt like she didn’t fit there.

A friend at a later school, Gemma Williamson, previously told the Daily Mail, “Apparently, she had been bullied very badly, and she certainly looked thin and pale. She had very little confidence.” Kate’s former classmate Emma Sayle said the princess hated that her school was “cliquey.”
“It is a very cliquey school, and there was a lot of pressure,” she told RSVP Live, as quoted by Express.
“The girls were all high achievers, and there were lots of girls with eating disorders. Everyone wanted to be the best, the fittest, the prettiest. I think Kate was miserable from the start.”
“Being especially slender and a head taller than her peers, she stood out for the wrong reasons and was teased for being gangly and lanky,” royal expert Katie Nicholl added.

Former Downe House student Georgina Rylance said how she believes Kate didn’t really fit in because she enrolled the school two years after her peers did. “It does make a difference going from eleven,” she told the Sunday Times, as per royal expert Katie Nicholl. “You have two years of bonding, your first time away all together. Even some of the most popular girls in my school had a hard time when they came in at thirteen.”
Further, Kate was really into hockey and the school only offered lacrosse, something that Kate hadn’t tried before. And even when she didn. she wasn’t good at it which made her disappointed.
When she told her parents how she felt, many said she was ‘too sensitive.’
“Certainly, I have no knowledge of any serious bullying at all. But there’s what everyone calls bullying, and there’s actual, real, miserable bullying where someone had a dreadful time,” Susan Cameron, then headmistress the school, told The Mirror.
“That certainly didn’t happen. Yes, there would be teasing. It’s all a part of the normal competition of growing up, of establishing a pecking order,” she continued.
“Girls are cliquey by nature, and they can be rather cruel. If you’re attractive, too, that can be seen as rather a threat. They can sense those who are slightly weaker or who haven’t shown their strengths yet, and it’s those girls who are likely to end up being picked on or teased.
“I think it’s fair to say she was unsettled and not particularly happy. Maybe in Catherine’s case, she just kind of went quiet and didn’t say anything,” the former headmistress continued, adding that if Kate had been in deed badly bullied, she wouldn’t be the woman she is today.

Eventually, Kate changed schools. She enrolled Marlborough College where she thrived and was loved by everyone. According to her former classmates, many boys were into her because she was s real beauty.
According to royal experts, Kate’s unpleasant experience has a lot to do with how she raises her children and that’s one of the reasons why she and William wish they have ordinary childhood.
Although George is still young, his parents do consider possible college choices for him.

In October of last year, the young prince was seen with his parents, touring Eton College, which both Prince William and Prince Harry attended in the past.
Eton’s fees amount to around £46,000 ($59,000) per year. Although Prince George won’t start at the school until he turns 13, children must be registered during the year they turn 10, as stated on the school’s website.
So, what would it indicate if George were to enroll at Eton? According to The Express’ royal correspondent, Richard Palmer, it would unexpectedly reveal significant insights into Kate’s choices and values.
“I find it fascinating because the Princess of Wales is spending so much of her life talking about giving children a better start in life, and part of that, she and her advisors have talked about reducing inequality,” Palmer said.
“And there you have her children at a fee-paying independent school, almost certain to go to an expensive fee-paying boarding school later on.”
However, if the Prince and Princess of Wales claim they wish for ordinary childhood for their children, why would they choose a boarding school like Eton?

“The choice of school for the children will tell us a lot about William and Catherine,” former BBC royal expert Jennie Bond said.
“So far, they’ve been such a hands-on parents and, personally, I think it would be sad to see them send their children away to boarding school. I would applaud a decision to keep them as day pupils at schools nearby their home. But I think both William and Catherine were happy at boarding school. I suppose it’s what they know, and perhaps they will want to pass this experience on to their children.”
Bond added, “I imagine it will be all or nothing – in other words, all three will go away to school, or none of them. I will be cheering loudly if they decide to keep their children close and nurture them through their adolescence as they have nurtured them through the young years.”
As per In Touch Weekly, Kate reluctantly agreed to Prince George’s desire to emulate his father and attend Eton. However, it’s not something she would have initially chosen due to her own boarding school experiences.
“But she’s still heartbroken. She was horribly bullied at her first boarding school and can’t bear the thought of George suffering through that,” a source said.

Although Eton is close to Windsor and George would likely visit his parents every weekend, Kate will still miss him a lot.
“Kate thinks sending George to such a stuffy, upper-crust institution goes against all of their efforts to modernize the monarchy,” a source said.
“Kate long disagreed with her husband about sending him away, even though it’s tradition,” but she is “finally giving in” to her husband’s wishes.

Despite the controversy surrounding the Pat Tillman Award for Service at the ESPYs that was presented to Prince Harry on Thursday and the discontent shown by certain people and the mother of the soldier whose name the award carries, ESPY claimed the Duke was honored for his “tireless work in making a positive impact for the veteran community through the power of sport” with the Invictus Games he created years ago.
The petition on Change.org urging ESPN to reconsider the decision gathered over 70,000 signatures. “These individuals do not have the money, resources, connections or privilege that Prince Harry has. I feel that those types of individuals should be recognised.”
A spokesman for ESPY answered, “While we understand not everyone will agree with all honourees selected for any award, The Invictus Games Foundation does incredible work, and ESPN believes this is a cause worth celebrating.”

The Telegraph reports that Harry is surprised by the criticism. A source from the newspaper stated that it has been particularly difficult for him to accept the negative feedback regarding his work with veterans. This backlash might create difficulties for him as he tries to build a career on his past military experiences.
“Harry’s legacy on Invictus, the things he has achieved, that’s his real passion. This is the space in which he truly feels at home, it is something he deeply cares about. The reaction certainly took the shine off the award,” the source added.
Among those who criticized ESPN’s choice to present Harry with the award is US commentator Lee Cohen.
In an opinion piece for The Sun, Cohen argues that Harry is insulting veterans by abandoning his country.
“The idea of rewarding a Royal Prince who abandoned his duty and capitalized on his title for personal gain is an affront to the legacy of Pat Tillman and is even more misplaced than ludicrously naming Harry a “Legend of Aviation,’” Cohen wrote.
“More discretion must be exhibited in the selection of award recipients, ensuring that they truly represent the values and qualities embodied by the award. To do otherwise is quite frankly offensive and ridiculous.”

Another worry on Harry’s mind is that he misses his friends back home and his old life. According to Tom Quinn, Harry’s friends haven’t visited him because of Meghan.
“As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK. Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles,” Quinn told the Mirror.
“He misses his Old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited as they don’t get on with Meghan. Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the UK, which is partly why he’s continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security.”

Predictions coming from the author of Prince Edward’ ‘s 2022 memoir A Royal Life, Hugo Vickers, are that Harry would likely return to UK permanently without Meghan although he is “petrified” of losing her. “I think he’ll come home,” Vickers told The Sun. “I think he’ll come home, and if he comes home, we must be very nice to him because he won’t particularly want to. He’s quite angry, I think.”
If that happens, Vickers claims, King Charles would embrace him with arms wide open and would allow him to be a working royal again.
“The king has left the door wide open for him to do that, and he was doing such a good job before, and … he looked so happy,” the royal expert continued. “Usually, you’re happy when you’re doing your duty and you’re doing it for other people and you’re putting things into life.”
“If you’re taking things out of life, at the risk of getting a lot of hate mail, I personally think that he looks like he’s petrified of losing her [Meghan] and looks slightly petrified of her.”

Rumors are that Harry and Meghan have a hard time making friends in the States, which affects their relationship. Royal expert Tom Quinn told the Mirror that the Sussexes are confronting a harsh reality check.
“There is a growing rift between Harry and Meghan caused by Meghan’s increasing concern that her life is not going in the direction she had planned,” Quinn said. “She loves media attention and hates that surveys suggest she and Harry are no longer of much interest to the American public.”
“With news that the couple’s Netflix contract may be under threat, along with the mockery that greeted the launch of her online brand, Meghan feels very much under siege,” he added.

Benji Gregory, the child star of ‘Alf,’ has been found dead aged 46. He played the role of Brian Tanner on 101 episodes of the show that aired from ’86 to ’90.
The news of Gregory’s tragic passing has been confirmed by members of the family.
According to his sister, Rebecca, Gregory reportedly went to the bank on June 12 to deposit residual checks, but he fell asleep in his car and died of heat stroke. His dog, Hans, was found dead too. The location, as per TMZ, was the parking lot of a Chase Bank.
Rebecca also opened up about her brother’s personal struggles with depression, bipolar disorder, and a sleep condition that often kept him awake for days on end.
“It is with a heavy heart my family has suffered a loss way too early,” Rebecca wrote on Facebook.
“Ben was a great Son, Brother and Uncle. He was fun to be around and made us laugh quite often. Still, going through his things, I find myself laughing at little videos or notes of his, in between crying,” she added.
“My brother Ben was found in his car, along with his beloved service dog Hans, deceased on June 13.”

Following his sudden passing, fans flocked to social media to share their condolences and heartbreak over the loss of both the actor and his dog.
“RIP Ben. RIP Hans. My sincere condolences to your loved ones,” a fan commented.
“Rest in Peace to both Benji Gregory and Hans as they travel across the rainbow bridge together. The next time I watch ALF, the laughs will be mixed with tears,” someone wrote on X.
“Sad to see this. Thanks for the memories! RIP Benji Gregory,” another wrote.
In 2004, Gregory joined the Navy as an aerographer’s mate and was honorably discharged in 2005. He then pursued multiple career paths before settling in Arizona with his wife, Sarah.
Before landing the role in ALF, Gregory, whose grandmother served as his agent, appeared in several TV shows including Fantasy Island, TJ Hooker and The Twilight Zone.
In a lengthy video on Instagram, actress Valerie Bertinelli announced she will no longer be part of Food Network’s Kids Baking Championship which she co-hosted alongside Duff Goldman.
“It really hurt my feelings, and I know it’s not supposed to,” she said. “Logically I know it’s business. Budget cuts, right?”
Bertinelli didn’t hide the fact that the show, especially the current season, meant so much to her.
She was in talks to continue her journey with the show but the “talks stalled” as she and her team “decided they wanted more” after which she was let go on Friday.
“Her deal was up, and [Food Network] chose not to renew. They did not make a new offer, but Valerie very much wanted to continue,” another source said.

At the time the current season was filmed, Bertinelli went through the divorce with ex-husband Tom Vitale and being part of the show made her feel productive and as she was spreading kindness in the world.
“Without sounding like a drama queen, the show saved my life,” Bertinelli said, adding that it was “like a floatation device” in what she portrayed as her “apex year of hell.”
“So it really hurts that I won’t be able to go back and see everybody and say, ‘Hey, I made it through,'” she added.
Bertinelli, who has hosted the show since its fisrt season in 2015, went on to praise her fellow co-host as well as the “really wonderful people” she worked with over the prior 12 seasons.
“To all the bakers that are coming in for the new season, even though I won’t be there, I’ll be with you in spirit,” The Hot in Cleveland star concluded the video.

Céline Dion has had quite a career, and even today, she remains on the top of the list of most famous and most appreciated female vocalists of all time.
Sadly, she has been experiencing health issues recently but not many were actually aware of the severity of her condition until she suffered a seizure while filming a documentary.
Dion suffers from a rare neurological disorder, stiff person syndrome, which is in the focus of her newest documentary I Am: Céline Dion, released in late June on Prime Video.
For the sake of the filming, the superstar allowed filmmaker Irene Taylor unrestricted access to her life, including a notably poignant moment near the film’s conclusion. In this scene, Dion experiences a severe, full-body spasm as a result of her illness, which is particularly difficult to watch.

This syndromerepresents an autoimmune disorder characterized by muscle stiffness and painful spasms. Sadly, Dion has been experiencing difficulties from this condition for the last 17 years, which affected her singing.
Allegedly, Taylor was hesitant to even film the moment Dion suffered a seizure, but once she showed the video to the Because You Loved Me singer, she said she wanted it in the film.
During a physical therapy session that is intended to help her with her condition and hopefully regain part of her health, Dion’s foot unexpectedly begins to cramp. Within minutes, her entire body stiffens and becomes immobile, leaving her unable to communicate with those around her in the room. She;s not even able to change her facial expression.
“I could just see this stiffness that was not like the flowing, lithe dancer that I had been filming for several months doing her physical therapy. Within a couple of minutes, she was moaning in pain,” Taylor told The New York Times.
As Dion’s limbs and lips start to twitch and she remains motionless and curled up, Taylor is uncertain if the singer is able to breath “because she was moaning and then she stopped. … I was very panicked. I was looking around the room, and I saw that her therapist called for her head of security. Her bodyguard immediately came into the room. I could see right away these two men were there to take care of her and they were trained to do it.”

Once the spasms, which typically last 30 minutes to an hour, stop, Dion can again sit and speak.
“Every time something like this happens, it makes me feel so embarrassed,” she says. “I don’t know how to express it, you know, to not have control over yourself.”
According to her physical therapist, the seizure could have been triggered by “over-stimulation” from the earlier singing session.
“If I can’t get stimulated by what I love, then I’m going to go on stage, and you’re going to put the pulse oximeter on me and turn me on my back?” the singer wonders.

Following an incident at the Gatcombe Park estate in southwest England, 73-year-old Princess Anne had sustained minor injuries and a concussion, the Palace reports.
Her medical team noted that her head injuries matched the impact from a horse’s head or legs. This incident caused Anne to experience temporary memory loss.
“For the last several years, Zara Tindall has been worried that the palace has been relying too heavily on her septuagenarian mother,” Christopher Andersen, author of The King, shared with Fox News.
“She has a point,” the author added. “Princess Anne is routinely described as the hardest-working royal, racking up 457 engagements last year alone. She has always been fondly thought of as inexhaustible — even invincible. When Zara saw her mother lying in a hospital bed suffering from a severe concussion and memory loss, she was understandably shaken.”

Andersen pointed out the ongoing challenges faced by the royal family, stating, “With both King Charles and Princess Kate battling cancer at the same time, it’s hard to escape the feeling that the royal family is falling apart physically. Princess Anne’s injury only underscores that perception.
“This means that more and more responsibility will fall on Prince William’s shoulders and Queen Camilla’s. Keep in mind that the queen turns 77 next week, and King Charles is justifiably concerned about the toll all this stress is taking on her health as well,” he added.
“Only so many shoes can drop before the institution of the monarchy itself begins to look awfully shaky,” Andersen continued.
Following Princess Anne’s incident, the Palace was quick to update the information regarding her schedule, writing, “The diary on @RoyalFamily website has been updated to remove Princess Anne’s engagement next week, as she is still recovering from her accident last month,” as reported by Gert’s Royals.
Anne is expected to visit the NLV Pharos ship off the west coast of Scotland as Patron of the Northern Lighthouse Board on July 15 and 16.
The incident involving her left her daughter “shaken to the core,” a source told OK! Magazine, and added: “She’s desperately hoping this memory [loss] is temporary. This has been a huge wake-up call for everyone in the family, and they’re rightfully distressed.”

“Princess Anne is quite stalwart and will be resolute in returning to work as soon as she can whilst taking the advice at the same time of her medical team,” royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News. “It certainly has caused issues for the royal family as Anne has a daunting record in the number of events she attends each year. It’s just another headache for King Charles trying to create his version of a slimmed-down monarchy, whilst covering all the diary events each year.”
The Princess was discharged from the hospital June 28 and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, provided an update on her condition.
“She is recovering well, thank you. We are both profoundly grateful to the medical team and hospital support staff for their expert care — and to the emergency services who were all so wonderful at the scene.”
He added, “We are both deeply touched by all the kind messages we have received from so many people near and far. It means a great deal.”
The Prince of Wales, the Duke of Edinburgh, and the Princess Royal are taking part in the royal procession on horseback.
Anne’s recent accident adds to the health challenges facing the royal family, who are also managing King Charles and Kate Middleton’s cancer treatments.
Anne continues to be highly regarded in equestrian circles. She participated in Trooping the Colour on June 15, riding alongside William and Prince Edward. A widely shared video on X captured her skilled handling of her horse during the military parade in London, showcasing her expertise as an equestrian.

The couple are planning on celebrating their tenth anniversary in style, by renewing their vows, which is what they do every year on their wedding anniversary.
Appearing on Live with Kelly and Mark, McCarthy said, “We renew our vows every year.”
“I always said it’s like a driver’s license,” she said. “You renew your driver’s license, so why not?”
McCarthy added: “You know, you stand in front of each other… Life gets so busy, and we just want to remind each other of the vows and the path and the love we share.”

When you are a teenager, all you think about is how to have fun with your friends, have sleepovers, and spend your days at the mall. But as it turns out, not every 14-year-old kid’s dream is to hang around. Ellie Yeater from West Virginia had other plans on how to spend her spare time. This incredible young lady bough herself a 1974 camper and turned it into an amazing living space for her. It’s not that she doesn’t want to share a place with her family but having something to call her own was what she really loved.
Now, how many children her age can brag about saving enough in order to by themselves a home? Not many, I guess.
Ellie managed to save up to $500 for the camper, but she found one that she purchased for less than half that money. That meant she still had some funds to start the process of turning it into a nice get away for her right away.
The place she refers to as her “glamper” started getting the look Ellie had envisioned in her mind. Although she knew exactly what she wanted, she still got help from her dad and grandpa who were more than happy to step in and turn her idea into a reality.
She had all the support by her family who describe her as a dedicated young lady who achieves everything she puts her mind into. Ellie’s mother says, “I have never told her that she couldn’t do anything. She has always been an out-of-the-box thinker. I don’t want her to ever feel she has to color inside the lines. I want her to color the entire page!”
After doing the remodeling and buying some very cool stuff, the camper was transformed into a fancy looking and cozy place. Ellie painted the outside blue, but opted for pink for the inside. The floor was replaced with wooden tiles which gave the glamper a great touch of modern.
Who wouldn’t want such a great home with so many pillows and accessories? I know I would be happy to be staying here.
Once the camper was all done, people said it was incredible that a 14-year-old came up with such an idea. Ellie did put a lot of hard work into the process but it paid off as she got herself a personal place.
People even offered to buy it from her, but she says she doesn’t want to sell it. Instead, she decided to start a completely new project with another camper that she would transform and then sell. She plans on using the money to fund her friend’s cancer treatment.
Ellie isn’t just a creative and hard-working young lady, but she is also kind and compassionate.

Royal traditions hold significant importance because they help preserve historical customs and practices, connecting the present with the past and contributing to a sense of national pride and unity thus symbolizing continuity and stability.
Most royal traditions emphasize the role of the head of the monarchy as a unifying figure above politics, embodying shared values and history. Overall, these traditions ensure the monarchy remains esteemed in modern society.
However, while certain royal rules are set in stone and cannot be broken, some serve as guidlines.
For example, when meeting a member of the British Royal Family there are no obligatory codes of behavior, as per the Palace’s website, yet “many people wish to observe the traditional forms.”
For men, a greeting involves a slight bow of the head, while women perform a small curtsy. Nevertheless, shaking hands is also acceptable.
There are specific rules and guidelines for dining. When dining with the king, it is crucial to follow his lead. King Charles even has the authority to dictate when people begin and finish their meals.

No one is supposed to start eating before the king, and when the king places his knife and fork in the finished position—at 6:30 with the tines of the fork facing upwards—everyone should follow suit, regardless of whether they have food left on their plate.
“Starting your meal before or ending it dramatically after the [King] would be noticed by others,” etiquette expert William Hanson shared with Express.
Also, one should never scrape along a near-empty plate.
“It is not a breach of protocol to make noise with the cutlery on the plate, if it happens once or twice by accident, no issue, but to continue to do so is especially unfortunate,” Hanson added.
The food the royals consume is healthy and prepared by personal chefs, but despite this, they are forbidden from eating certain foods such as shrimp, oysters, and lobster. According to chef Darren McGrady, who worked for the Palace from 1982 to 1993, this is to prevent any poisoning or allergic reactions.
“No potatoes, rice or pasta for dinner,” the royal chef said, referring to the rule of not consuming carbs for dinner.

The truth is that the list of rules and traditions is a long one and no matter how hard the royals try to respect it, some of them have been caught breaking certain rules, likely by mistake.
Meghan Markle, for example, was said to have “hated being controlled by royal protocol” when leaving the house.
“The fact, for example, that at Kensington Palace, royals have to announce in advance when they are leaving the Palace and where they are going,” the royal source told Quinn.
“This is partly for security but partly also to avoid a situation where a senior royal is upstaged by a more junior royal leaving just when the more important person leaves.”

Another royal rule refers to the gifts the royal children receive for different occasions. Besides the fact that they are the ones the gift was bought for, it automatically belongs to the king.
“Gifts are defined as official when received during an official engagement or duty or in connection with the official role or duties of a member of The Royal Family,” the rule guidance states.
“Official gifts are not the private property of the Member of The Royal Family who receives them but are instead received in an official capacity in the course of official duties in support of, and on behalf of The King.”
Of course, King Charles lets the grandchildren have their gifts, but before that, they need to undergo inspection. Once the security tests proceed, the gifts can be handed over.

As expected, royal rules apply to clothing as well.
While the male members of the British Royal Family are always spotted in the most elegant suits, the women’s fashion is somewhat different.
Throughout the years, the late Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana, former members like Meghan Markle, and current royals such as Queen Camilla and Kate Middleton have been admired for their exquisite outfits and extraordinary hats. It’s clear that their wardrobes and the royal jewelry collection are quite luxurious but despite having a wide range of clothing choices, there are specific rules they must adhere to.

Since becoming Queen, Camilla is highest in rank and she gets the first choice on what to wear.
Speaking to Express, an insider said that the Queen’s official dresser, Jacqui Meakin, initially caused some unrest at the Palace due to Camilla’s strict opinions on who was allowed to wear specific colors. Typically, this includes the color blue.
Namely, during an occasion, Camilla expressed a wish to wear blue, a color she loves, and she eventually allowed Kate and Princess Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, to wear the same color as long as their outfits looked different than hers.
“The Queen is now able to choose her outfits before all the other women in the Royal Family. It’s part of the royal pecking order and that includes the clothes and colour,” the insider said. “Her Majesty’s favourite colour is blue, and so is Kate’s. Sophie is also quite fond of it.

The source continued, “There was a time when Jacqui [Meakin] was a bit apprehensive to allow blue to be worn at the same time as the Queen, but she’s relaxed that now as long as the blues are very different shades. In the end, it all became a bit comical with all the ladies seeing the funny side.”

Gordon Ramsey is without a doubt one of the most famous names in the culinary world.
The TV chef, who has earned a total of 12 Michelin stars throughout his exceptional career and currently holds seven, has opened up of the loss of his unborn son Rocky for the first time ever.
He detailed the heartbreak he and his wife went through and explained how they navigated through the times of grief.
In an interview with People, Gordon, 56, said: “Losing Rocky was really tough, and then just being there and watching the trauma unfold, it’s just this life-changing moment…”
Speaking of his wife, the famous chef said, “Just watching the way that she dealt with it — and opened up with other friends and women in close proximity that could give advice — she was incredible straight after that.”
He added: “There’s a lot of things that Tana’s done, that we wouldn’t be here today without that strength.”
Gordon and Tana tied the knot in 1996 and welcomed five children together, with their oldest, Megan, born in 1999, and their youngest, Oscar, in 2019. They also share fraternal twins Jack and Holly and daughter Matilda.
Back in 2016, the couple announced that Tana had a miscarriage at five months pregnant, but they didn’t reveal any further details.

But then, in 2020, Tana spoke of her loss in an interview shortly after Chrissy Teigen publicly shared the news of her own miscarriage. What triggered Tana to open up of the miscarriage was the backlash Teigen faced by the public.
Tana showed her support to Teigen and praised her for her honesty.
“I find it very emotional and I thought she was amazing. When I read about her situation, I didn’t know the ins and outs, but certainly, a lot of it sounded incredibly similar to mine,” Tana said.
“It brings it all back and I think she was amazing for talking about it and posting the photos that she did,” she added.

Tana said how she hated the fact that people would tiptoe around the subject and pretend like it had never happened. She said, “I have to be honest when it happened to me, I found it really hard when people would talk to me and not mention it because it was like it never happened.
“All I wanted to do was talk about it with friends, with family, with anyone who asked me about it because it was incredibly hard.”
She added, “You go from having a baby kicking inside of you to suddenly it’s not there, and it was a really hard experience.”
Her husband was by her side and showed immense support. “Gordon was amazing, and he’s always been one to talk about everything and he was very good at sort of talking it out of me and never making me feel that, ‘Oh, you know, maybe we shouldn’t talk about it’.”

In the recent interview with People, Gordon disclosed, “We wouldn’t have had Oscar had we not lost Rocky. There was no substitute – far from it – but it brought us a bond that you’d never experience in a normal situation.
“That’s the power of Tana,” he added. “Just watching the way that she dealt with it – and opened up with other friends and women in close proximity that could give advice – she was incredible straight after that. Their kids “get a lot of strength from their mum.”

Josephine and Charlie had been together for as long as she could remember. Childhood sweethearts who built a life together and welcomed two children, their union seemed picture perfect, both from the inside and out.
However, what Josephine could never imagine was that her fairytale would crumble because of a single bottle of men’s hair lotion.
Sharing her story, she explained that her husband’s head was as bald as a billiard ball so when she returned home one day and spotted a bottle in the bathroom labeled “Potion for Thick Voluminous Hair,” she was confused.
She picked the bottle and showed it to Charlie, who was sitting on the couch switching between the TV channels. Once he saw the bottle, his face drained of color faster than a sink full of dishes.
His initial silence was defeating. “Charlie,” Josephine said, “Whose hair lotion is this? You never told me you’re taking treatment for hair growth?”

Staring at the bottle and then at his wife, his jaw clenched hard, he asked, “Where… where did you find this?”
“In the bathroom, where else?” she answered, her temper starting to simmer. “Care to explain?”
“WHAT??” he yelled, pinning the whole thing on Josephine. “So, you’ve been CHEATING on me?? How else could it have gotten there?”
“You’re accusing me of cheating? Charlie?? Come back here and explain,” she shouted, but Charlie simply turned away.
The days that followed were quiet. Josephine couldn’t help but think of the bottle and how it got there. But then, all of a sudden, she remembered seeing their neighbor, an 18-year-old girl named Susie, buying exactly the same bottle some days prior. She also recalled Susie stopping by and asking from Charlie to help fix their faucet, so maybe it was then that she left it at their place. Not surprisingly, the thought of Charlie having something to do with Susie, although he could be her father, also crossed Josephine’s mind.

In order to clear her doubts, she decided to invite Susie and her dad over for dinner one night. As they chatted, she casually mentioned the hair lotion, and to her surprise, Susie’s dad said it was his and that he left it there when he came to fix something for Charlie.
In the pursuit of answers, Josephine decided to check the cameras the following day. What she noticed was that Susie’s father visited their home way too often, and that she had no idea about that. After this, things got even more confusing for her to be able to untangle the truth so she decided to confront her husband yet again.
“Charlie, you’ve got some explaining to do,” she said, not assuming the reality she was going to face.
Panicked, Charlie uttered, “He… he was just helping with repairs.”
“Repairs?” she pressed, her voice laced with suspicion. “Every single time I wasn’t here? Come on, Charlie, level with me.”

Running his hand over his head, Charlie’s face etched with worry. He hesitated for a long moment, then blurted out, “Alright, fine. There’s more to the story, but please…” He trailed off, his voice cracking. “Please, Josephine, you gotta believe me… I never meant to hurt you.”
As she stared at him with a racing heart, Charlie gathered the courage to confess, “I… I’ve been having an affair.”
Charlie’s admission felt like a massive blow. “An affair? With Susie’s dad?” His words sounded like a cruel joke.
“You’ve been having an affair with a MAN?? How could you do this to me… to our family?” she screamed.
“I love you, Josephine. Always have. But…,” he tried to explain. “I’ve been struggling with my sexuality for years. I didn’t want to admit it, even to myself.”

Josephine was crushed. She felt that her entire life was a huge lie and everything she believed she had built with the man she loved was nonexistent.
“So all these years,” she choked out. “You were living a lie?”
“It wasn’t a lie, Josephine,” he argued. “I love you, and I love our kids. It’s just… there was this part of me I couldn’t ignore anymore.”
“And you decided to act on it with Susie’s dad??” she sneered, as fury welled up along with the hurt.. “How could you betray me like that?”
“It wasn’t planned,” he faltered. “We just… connected. He’s lonely, Josephine. His wife passed away a few years back, and—”

Josephine didn’t have the strength to argue or to accept the reality, so she asked from Charlie to leave. His footsteps receded to the room upstairs, and she curled up on the couch, crying her heart out.
A few days passed by and Josephine received a message from Susie’s father. He wanted to meet her and talk to her. With a deep breath, she answered, “Alright, I’ll be there,” a wave of unease twisted in her gut.
They met at a café the following day, and he confessed, “Your husband isn’t the only one at fault here. I pursued him. I knew he was struggling, and I took advantage of that. I’m sorry.”

Feeling anger, Josephine told him, “You destroyed my family. Do you know that?” As he nodded and stared at the floor, he said he was sorry.
Josephine knew that a simple sorry wouldn’t fix anything. All she knew was that she couldn’t stay with Charlie any longer.

He had two sons, Mark and John, through adoption with his first wife Dodie Levy-Fraser. Landon and his second wife, Lynn Noe, welcomed four children together – Leslie, Michael Jr., Christopher, and Shawna, and he also adopted Noe’s daughter, Cheryl, whom she had from a previous relationship.

A woman from New Zealand named Maddie Smith shared on Facebook the story of her sweet kitty Ruby who got poisoned after she licked a Himalayan salt lamp. This woman is trying to warn other cat owners of the dangers of these types of lamps and urges them to keep them out of the reach of their pets.
She started by writing how Ruby was walking in a strange manner that Wednesday morning. They simply thought it was because the little one was cold so they got her toasty before they left for work.
Unfortunately, once they got home, they could see the cat’s condition was way worse than before, so they took her to the vet.
“The vets were extremely concerned for her and could see she definitely had neurological problems because she simply could not walk properly, could not hear or see, couldn’t even eat or drink properly because she couldn’t function her tongue the best,” the cat owner wrote.
“Her basic senses and abilities gone in 12 hours. She was so helpless.”
When the test results came back, both the doctors and Ruby’s owners were left shocked. The cat was diagnosed with severe salt poisoning which caused her brain to swell.
“The salt poisoning was caused by just your normal salt lamp that we had in our lounge. Ruby has ingested the salt by simply licking the lamp.”
They all say how Ruby’s survival is a miracle as salt poisoning is deadly to animals. The thing is that once they lick these lamps, the animals can’t stop doing it because the taste is addictive.
The vets and medical experts add that these lamps are ‘deadly’ for animals but only if they consume too much of the mineral and lick them repeatedly, otherwise they can do no harm.
The amount of salt cats are allowed to take per day is around 42mg. Anything above this quantity can cause poisoning.
So, if you do decide to get a Himalayan salt lamp just make sure your pet can’t reach it.

Having good neighbors is essential for fostering a positive and harmonious living environment. They often serve as positive role models for children and young adults in the community, demonstrating the importance of kindness, respect, and community spirit.
But not all neighbors are easy to get along with, and a woman named Victoria knows this all too well.
She shared her story by explaining that the color of her house was bright yellow. It was a color her late husband adored, and she got used to loving it, too.
However, when a couple, Mr. and Mrs. Davis, moved next door, they seemed to have issues with the brightness of the color of Victoria’s home.
“Whoa! We’ve never seen a house so bright! Did you apply the paint yourself?” was one of the first things they asked when they introduced themselves.
“Yup, me and a gallon of sunshine!” Victoria answered. “What are your thoughts? Must I paint the mailbox after that?”
The couple wouldn’t stop bugging Victoria about the color of her home. “Bright enough for you, Victoria?!” Mr. Davis would often sneer and nudge his wife, and she would respond with a hyena-like cackle before asking, “Victoria, have you ever considered changing it? Perhaps something more impartial?”
This went on and on and one day Mrs. Davis approached Victoria while she was planting her petunias and said boldly, “Victoria, that color is so ugly! It goes with everything! It must be removed. For a change, how about something like… beige…?”
“Mrs. Davis, is that the reason for the commotion outside?” The looks on people’s faces led Victoria believe that a UFO had touched down. “But it’s only a tiny bit of paint!”
“A tiny bit of paint? Our neighborhood appears to have been invaded by a gigantic banana! Consider the worth of your property! You must be able to perceive how flashy it is,” Mrs. Davis scowled.
Victoria tried to stay composed. She explained that it was the color her late husband preferred and that she wasn’t breaking any legal rules with the choice of color. Sadly, Mrs. Davis was persistent and said, “Victoria, this isn’t over by a long shot!” and apparently she meant it because she and her husband put Victoria through plenty of ordeals by suing her for “safety hazard” and “blinding color.”
The Homeowners Against Bold Colors Association was their final effort, but the rest of the neighbors shut it down.
Nowadays, the pair are isolated from everyone and as welcome as a skunk at a picnic.
However, as Victoria believed her troubles are over, they have just started.
Namely, she needed to be out of town for around two weeks, a time the Davis family used to repaint her house grey without her knowledge.
When she returned home, Victoria missed her home, because this time she wasn’t welcomed by her yellow house, brilliant as a sunflower against the dull beige of the neighborhood.
Her stomach fell out. She was angry and couldn’t possibly believe that those two could do such a thing behind her back.
Victoria marched to the Davises’ house, the obvious culprits who couldn’t handle a bit of color in their dull world. She pounded on their door, but no one answered.
Mr. Thompson, one of the neighbor, approached. “I saw everything, Victoria. I have pictures. Despite having a legitimate work order, the police couldn’t do anything.”
“What do you mean, a valid work order?” she asked, totally puzzled.
He explained that the Davises forged her name, claiming she had paid for the repaint while away. After checking her security tape—smart, they avoided trespassing.
Victoria noticed traces of old yellow paint through the shoddy job.
She grabbed her ID and house documents and headed to the painting company’s office.
“You performed a terrible job painting my house without my permission. This can damage the exterior of the house. What’s that you know? I’ll sue you,” she yelled.
The manager apologized. “But… but we thought it was your house.”
“Of course, it’s MY house, but I DIDN’T ask for any paint job,” Victoria explained.
Furious, Victoria demanded a copy of the work order. It was in the Davises’ name. The manager, Gary, was shocked when he heard what the neighbors had done.

Her blood boiled. “You didn’t confirm with the real homeowner? Check ownership records?”
Gary, regretful, replied, “They were convincing and claimed to own the house. I apologize.”
“And you didn’t ask any neighbors? You just painted my house?” Victoria started losing her temper.
Gary looked agitated. “We had no reason to doubt them. I’m sorry.”
Taking a deep breath, Victoria said, “You will help fix this. This is unacceptable.”
Sweat beaded on Gary’s temples. “Yes, we’ll work closely with you. We had no idea this could happen.”
“I want your workers to testify in court,” she insisted.
The Davises countersued, claiming she should pay for the paint job. The painting company’s employees testified against them. Her attorney detailed the damages and fraud.
The judge, after hearing everything, addressed the Davises. “You’ve destroyed her property and committed identity theft. This is both a criminal and civil matter.”
Eventually, the Davises were convicted of vandalism and fraud. They were sentenced to community service and ordered to pay all expenses, including court fees, to repaint Victoria’s house yellow.
“I hope you’re happy,” Mrs. Davis said angrily outside the courthouse.
Victoria treated her with a charming smile and said, “I will be when my house is YELLOW again!”

Kelly Osbourne and her partner Sid Wilson, a member of the heavy metal band Slipknot, welcomed son Sidney Wilson in 2022.
Recently, in the latest episode of The Osbournes Podcast, Kelly shared she and her husband had the “biggest fight” about her son’s name that she’s panning to change.
“This is personal and I didn’t expect to ever talk about this but I’m going to,” the 39-year-old began.
She wanted the child to have both their last names, but Sid believed it was not something along with tradition.
“I wanted our son to have both of our last names, and (Sid) wouldn’t let me,” she said. “We had a huge fight. I feel that I was forced into doing something I didn’t wanna do, and I can never ever, forgive him for that, but we can move on.”
According to Sydney’s mom, the 15-year-old “doesn’t have a double-barreled last name,” but he will soon.
“After lots of eye-opening conversations and some couples therapy, he has seen the light,” Kelly revealed. “We are going to legally change our son’s name to have both of our last names.”
“We both made our child, so he should have both of our last names,” she added.
During the conversation, Kelly’s mom, Sharon Osbourne, said naming children after their parents is a “very dated” trend.
“Don’t even get me started, Mom. Because it goes Sid’s dad, then Sid, and now our son,” Kelly replied. “Sid told me that his grandfather had the same name, but he didn’t! His grandfather’s name was Fred.”
Kelly added that her son’s name has grown on her.

When someone close passes away, the heartbreak is immense. During those times of grief and pain, we do everything to ease the feelings of despair.
Different cultures have different traditions of honoring the deceased, and no matter how odd we find some of them, that’s a way for people to cope with the loss and we need to respect them.
However, that wasn’t the case with the family of a man named Mark Rosenthal who passed away 13 years ago, leaving his wife and two children behind.
For Mark’s family, losing him was an irreparable tragedy, but feeling a closer connection to him has helped alleviate some of the pain of his absence. Despite this, they encountered online abuse for how they commemorated a special day of the calendar.
Becoming a single mom of two, Mark’s wife Robin Rosenthal raised her children Sam and Emma by herself in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and made sure she has kept his memory alive, and one way was to spend some time at his grave and share videos online.
In a specific video taken in June 2022, they shared a throwback of a Father’s Day lunch spent camping by the grass.
The short clip, which was intended to be humorous, triggered criticism from the online community.
It shows the family at the graveyard having sandwiches and Sam is heard saying, “Father’s Day lunch with Dad!” after which he asks his mom where his dad was.
“Down there, in the ground,” his mom replies.
As they continue having their lunch, Robin is seen tossing fries on her late husband’s grave, saying, “Here Mark, have a fry.”
Obviously, the family wanted to add a humorous touch to the video, but they faced the backlash of some of the viewers.
“Creepy that mom,” one person commented.

This year, the family posted yet another video of their visit to Mark’s grave that has been seen over 600,000 times on TikTok.

On Wednesday, Cameron announced he and his family settled in Tennessee. One of the reasons is that three of his children, who are fully grown, live in the state and because he was looking for a place that gave him a “healthy freedom mindset.”

From the moment the world learned of her, she was under constant scrutiny. The paparazzi followed her every move, and according to many, their relentless pursuit contributed to her tragic death.
Lady Di was a devoted mother who was willing to do everything for her children, Prince William and Prince Harry. She demonstrated that her kids were her top priority, even more important than royal protocol, by breaking tradition and attending school games where she competed alongside other parents.
On the day she lost her life, August, 1997, she was running away from the paparazzi.

Her death shocked the entire world, especially her children, Princes William and Harry who walked behind her casket on the day of her funeral; an image many Britons could never forget.
Over the years, Diana traveled extensively, leaving an indelible mark on history captured through lenses worldwide. One of the most iconic photographs of her was taken in 1992 during her visit to India, specifically at the Taj Mahal.
Then-President Ramaswamy Venkataraman greeted her upon arrival, and during her trip, she attended the inauguration of the Taman Special School for children. Meanwhile, Prince Charles was attending a business meeting in Bangalore, allowing Diana to pursue her own activities.
Among these was a visit to the Taj Mahal, but the iconic photo later evoked mixed emotions.

Built between 1631 and 1648 by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, Taj Mahal was to be a memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is described by UNESCO as “the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage.”
Princess Diana posed seated on a bench with the grand mausoleum towering behind her. She wore a red jacket, a purple skirt, and coordinated shoes, a look that has been emulated by many since.
Anwar Hussein, a royal photographer who was on-site, reflected on this significant occasion in an interview with People in 2022. He mentioned that it wasn’t the first time he had captured a royal in front of this historic monument.
“The Taj Mahal exists as the eternal monument of a husband’s love,” Hussein said. “I photographed Charles there just before he got engaged. He said to us then, ‘I’d like to bring my girlfriend or future wife here one day.’”

Sadly, mere months after this iconic photo was taken, Diana was killed in a car crash.
During their visit to India, rumors about Diana and Charles’ marriage falling apart were widespread. Despite their conflicting schedules and engagements, there was anticipation that they would visit the Taj Mahal together. However, as we now know, that didn’t happen.
“We didn’t know if [Princess Diana] would come. She kept us waiting for a long time,” Anwar Hussein told People. “It was really, really hot there. She looked sad, and she knew which way the story would go. She was very clever. There were other pictures taken that day on another bench when she seemed to be contemplating things.”
Speaking of visiting the mausoleum at the time, Lady Di said, “It was a fascinating experience – very healing.” Wanting to know more, reporters wanted her to be more specific. With a smile on her face, she replied: “Work it out for yourself.”

When this famous photo emerged, no matter how stunningly beautiful she looked on it, was dubbed as “broken hearts” by some.
“That picture of her as a lonely, neglected, beautiful girl who didn’t have anyone to love her back just broke everybody’s hearts,” royal biographer and journalist Tina Brown said in the CNN documentary series The Windsors: Inside the Royal Dynasty.
“She knew what she was doing. And it made Charles absolutely crazy.”
The picture somehow became a symbol of the beginning of the end of the marriage between Charles and Diana, and Diana didn’t even want to take it in the first place.
“The point was, this was during the visit, it was the joint visit with her and the Prince of Wales,” her former security officer Ken Wharfe said, as reported by Express. “The Prince of Wales, understandably, didn’t want to sit on that seat with his wife as it was the temple of love.”
He added: “Of course, the media interest was always on Diana, right through her life, together with the Prince of Wales. This was a big problem for him. He wanted that media attention but, of course, the focus was on Diana, for obvious reasons.”
Princess Diana isn’t the only royal who has ever taken a photo in front of the Tj Mahal. During a visit to India in 2016, Prince William and Kate Middleton posed at the exact same place.
“The Duke of Cambridge is, of course, aware of the huge esteem his mother, the late Princess of Wales, is held in India, and he appreciates the iconic status of the images that exist of the princess at the Taj,” the statement by the Prince’s spokesman read at the time.

“He feels incredibly lucky to visit a place where his mother’s memory is kept alive by so many who travel there.”
However, when Meghan was about to travel to India while she and Harry dated, he asked her not to pose in front of the famous building. Have not been aware of Harry’s late mother’s iconic photo, Meghan was baffled by his request.
“‘Do not take a photo in front of the Taj Mahal.’ She’d asked why and I’d said: ‘My mum.’ I’d explained that my mother had posed for a photo there, and it had become iconic, and I didn’t want anyone thinking Meg was trying to mimic my mother,” Harry wrote in his book Spare. “Meg had never heard of this photo, and found the whole thing baffling, and I loved her for being baffled.”
In Spare, Harry also wrote about his mother’s death and how that affected him.
“Everyone knows where they were and what they were doing the night my mother died,” Harry stated.
“I cried once, at the burial, and you know I go into detail about how strange it was and how actually there was some guilt that I felt and I think William felt as well, by walking around the outside of Kensington Palace.”

“There were 50,000 bouquets of flowers to our mother and there we were shaking people’s hands, smiling,” he continued. “I’ve seen the videos, right, I looked back over it all. And the wet hands that we were shaking, we couldn’t understand why their hands were wet, but it was all the tears that they were wiping away.”
Being just 12 and 15 at the time, Harry and William walked behind their mother’s coffin. Harry later slammed that decision made by the Palace.
“My mother had just died, and I had to walk a long way behind her coffin, surrounded by thousands of people watching me while millions more did on television,” he told Newsweek in 2017. “I don’t think any child should be asked to do that, under any circumstances. I don’t think it would happen today.”
Princess Diana truly was one of a kind. May she rest in peace.
