While most young people dream of living in the big cities and experience the night life these places offer, one Swedish woman, Jonna Jinton, decided to take her life to a different direction.
When she turned 21, this beautiful lady decided to leave the Swedish city of Gothenburg for a small village with only ten inhabitants located 600 miles north.
Jonna moved to Grundtjarn, into the deep forests of the country, where her grandparents used to live.
Jonna, who is a photographer, captures splendid images of her surrounding and photographs the spectacle and magical moments of Mother Nature – at both day and night-time.
“Nature, for me, is the most important thing I have. It’s the connection where I get all my inspiration from,” Jonna told the Swedish site Expressen.
In one of her clips, she talks about the cold autumns and winters and says how she is often ill because of the cold weather. She, however, believes that the cold can only make you stronger, so she challenges herself and often takes baths in a nearby lake.
The moment she enters the cold water, which looks peaceful and calm, it looks like she struggles to take breath.
“I feel a thousand times more alive when walking into ice cold water, and I can feel the blood rushing through my body, doing everything it can to keep me alive. At this moment I am completely present,” she says in the clip.

After 27 years of marriage, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness announced they are separating.
They shared the news of their decision through a joint statement with People.
“We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth,” the couple wrote.
“Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.”
The couple married in 1996 and have two children together, son Oscar, 23, and daughter Ava, 18.
Jackman and Furness, who is 13 years his senior, met in 1995 while filming the Australian TV series Correlli.
“She took off her seatbelt and she turned around and put out her hand and took off her sunglasses and said, ‘Hi, I’m Deborra-lee Furness, nice to meet you.’ I remember thinking, ‘I like this girl,’” Jackman recalled.
Despite the age gap, they both knew they were meant for one another and tied the knot just a year following their first meeting.

On their 27th wedding anniversary, the actor shared a lovely photo of him and his wife with even lovelier caption.
“I love you Deb. Today is our 27th wedding anniversary. 27 YEARS!! I love you so much,” he captioned the photo which showed them smiling. “Together we have created a beautiful family. And life. Your laughter, your spirit, generosity, humor, cheekiness, courage and loyalty is an incredible gift to me. I love you with all my heart.”
Both Jackman and Furness said the statement they made regarding their separation would be the sole either of them would make.
Fans were left heartbroken, but many said they could feel something was off between the couple when they spotted Furness all by her self in New York with her wedding ring noticeably missing.
She was spotted entering a car, dressed all in black, and without the ring on her finger.
As they both navigate their new journey, we wish them the best.

Rear view of woman patient sitting on bed in hospital feeling stressed, mental health and coronavirus concept.
Every person experiences health issues at some point in their life, but it’s up to the doctors to diagnose them properly and find a cure as soon as possible. Sadly, there are cases out there where medical professionals fail to detect the cause of the discomfort some people feel, and that leads to more serious issues.
In December, 2021, then 21-year-old Chandler Plante contracted COVID-19. However, her symptoms were mild and she recovered in just a week time. Sadly, that’s when her struggles started taking place.
Around three months after contracting the virus, Plante noticed numbness in her hands and forearms. She got concerned and visited the emergency room but was told that the numbness was a result of anxiety.
“I was told to move along, so I left,” she recalled.
Shutterstock
Sadly, her symptoms only got worse as time passed by.
“But it kept happening – and on June 28, a brain scan showed the symptoms I thought were panic attacks were actually big ischemic strokes. I had so much inflammation in my head that it was cutting off the oxygen to my arteries – while they’re supposed to measure at 4mm, mine were as narrow as 0.5mm,” she explained.
An ischemic stroke is when a blood clot blocks the flow of blood and oxygen to the brain, a condition that is often fatal.
Plante was forced to undergo a procedure during which coronary stents were fit to widen the arteries in her brain so she would not suffer from strokes anymore. Then, in October 2021, she had more stents placed inside her. At the same time, she was prescribed aspirin and was placed on steroid treatment. This helped the stokes stop, but that didn’t last long.
Just a month later, her stents migrated to the back of her eye. The stents ‘chocked out’ her optic nerve and she lost the sight on that eye.
“Doctors were stumped, they had no idea what could’ve caused it. They questioned whether it could be a brain tumor, but all my scans showed up clear.
“It’s just really bizarre,” she recalled.
In an attempt to learn what was causing all these issues and the pain she felt, doctors ran a bunch of tests, but they were still unaware of what could be going on with this young woman.
On December 6, she had a craniotomy keyhole surgery on her brain and was referred for a lumbar puncture later that month.
Shutterstock
Eventually, Plante was put on an immunosuppressant called methotrexate, and in November 2021, she started a 10-day course of radiation therapy.
“Each treatment made me feel horrible.
“I was experiencing horrific headaches and inflammation of my facial nerves thanks to my anti-seizure medication. It was excruciatingly painful,” she said.
Finally, in April 2023, she received a treatment that helped her improve. She had her first infusion of a chemodrug called rituximab, which brought “some semblance of a normal life.”
“For the first time, I genuinely feel like my treatment is helping me. This is the least amount of side effects I’ve ever had, which is fabulous. I’m on a combination of rituximab and methotrexate – another chemotherapy drug. I experience some hair loss and thinning, but I balance this out with folic acid. It’s pretty normal for me at this point.”
Plante is now sharing her story in order to spread positivity and teach people that they should never give up fighting, even when it feels like their world is falling apart.
“My page is about healing and positivity – and dealing with an absurd situation. Many people believe positive humans are just born this way – but I think it’s something I’ve had to practice. I was tired of suffering.”
Shutterstock
“Some days, those jokes I was making with my Starbucks baristas and nurses were the highlight of my day – because everything else was so horrible. It was a defense mechanism – I needed that positivity to lift me out of a really dark time. It helped me to heal in the most authentic way possible,” she said.
“I’ve made so many friends within the disabled community – I was so impressed by the kindness and humanity of the people around me while I was going through something that genuinely made me question whether I wanted to be here. You’ve got to look on the bright side – it’s the only one you’ve got,” this 23-year-old woman added.
She still doesn’t have an official diagnosis of her health struggles, but she chooses to stay positive and be optimistic about her future.

Princess Charlotte is the second child of the Prince and Princess of Wales and their only daughter. Her older brother, Prince George, is second in line to the throne, but she, although being the granddaughter of the current King will likely not be a working royal but would need to work for a living, according to royal experts. This is due to Charles’ wish to slim down the monarchy.
“From what I hear, the Prince and Princess of Wales want Charlotte, aged seven, to grow up with the expectation that she will get a job and not be a full-time royal,” royal expert Richard Eden told the Mirror.
“This path for the young Princess would be in keeping with her grandfather, King Charles III’s, vision for a slimmed-down monarchy.”
Charlotte is truly a special young lady whose personality shines through more and more. Many agree that she resembles her late grandmother, Princess Diana, and it seems like this resemblance is not limited to looks only. On the contrary, it looks like Charlotte also shares her grandma’s caring and loving nature.
Not only that, but Charlotte also has her grandma’s name, Diana, as her third name.
When Charlotte was born, her parents had a hard time deciding how to call her. In the end, she was named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
Pool/Max Mumby/Getty Images
Her first name, Charlotte, which is the female version of Charles, is a tribute to her grandfather, the King. Elizabeth is the name of the late Queen, and Diana is a tribute to the People’s Princess.
“It reminds us of how much Diana still means to William and the memory of his mother. The queen perhaps feels that Diana hasn’t been acknowledged enough, and this is a wonderful way of doing so,” Ingrid Seward, editor of Majesty Magazine, told Vanity Fair in 2015.
While many argued that Diana should have been the young princess’ first name, Richard Kay, a royal expert and a close friend to late Princess Diana, believes it would have been a huge burden on Charlotte.
“Had it been the first name, I think it would have been terrible for the child,” he told Vanity Fair. “There would have been constant comparisons with Diana, and William wouldn’t have wanted that. This way, it’s a tribute to his mother and a way of ensuring Diana is always remembered.”
Princess Charlotte is third in the line to the throne, after her father, Prince William, and elder brother, Prince George.
But besides this, she might miss on a title that her brothers will receive when and if they marry, that of a Duchess.

Queen Elizabeth gave duke titles to Prince William and Prince Harry on their wedding days. Prince William became the Duke of Cambridge (making Kate the Duchess of Cambridge), while Prince Harry was titled the Duke of Sussex (making Meghan the Duchess of Sussex).
It turns out that Charlotte could only become a Duchess herself if she marries a Duke, just like her mother.
This could now change thanks to the added amendment to the Succession to the Crown Act in 2013, which stated that a younger male air couldn’t overtake older females automatically.
“Now, with gender-equal succession, I think it would be more possible to grant a peerage to Charlotte,” royal historian Marlene Koenig told Hello! Magazine.
“Prince Louis will get one when he marries, so it would only be fair if Charlotte was named a Duchess on her wedding day. She and her children will be ahead of Louis’ line in the succession.”
Karwai Tang/WireImage
Charlotte, however, can receive a title her brothers can’t. That’s the title of Princess Royal, which is awarded to the monarch’s eldest daughter, such in the case of Princess Anne. This title, however, can’t be inherited, it can only be awarded.
“It is a title that remains for life, so Princess Charlotte will have to wait at least until the death of the current Princess Royal,” royal author Duncan Larcombe told Town and Country.
As we’ve become aware so far, everything concerning revolves around tradition, and the gifts they receive and if they are allowed to accept them is another rule that needs to be followed because of tradition. So who decides which gifts the royals, including children can keep and which they need to return? That’s the King himself.
“Gifts are defined as official when received during an official engagement or duty or in connection with the official role or duties of a member of The Royal Family,” the rule guidance states.
“Official gifts are not the private property of the Member of The Royal Family who receives them but are instead received in an official capacity in the course of official duties in support of, and on behalf of The King.”

So, per the rule, it’s King Charles who owns all of the gifts given to royal family members.
Of course, being a loving grandfather the children adore, it’s certain that King Charles lets Charlotte, George, and Louis enjoy all the gifts they receive.
However, before they are allowed to take any gifts, they first need to undergo a strict security test. Firstly, they are registered on an official “gift receive form,” the Daily Record reports. Secondly, the security test proceeds and it can be handed over if it passes inspection.

In the Russian city of Dzerzhinsk, about 230 miles from Moscow, people could witness a very uncommon sight. Namely, the city is the home of a number of dogs whose fur is blue in color.
What causes this blue tint, according to animal activists, are the chemicals released from the nearby factory that produced Plexiglas and hydrocyanic acid, which is hydrogen cyanide dissolved in water.
Now, the question of how this chemical affects the color of the dogs’ fur is to be further investigated.
Some people believe that the dogs were in fact painted with certain chemicals, such as copper sulfate, a bright blue inorganic compound used in many industrial processes.
“The dye on their fur implies they had direct contact with or even ingestion of potentially toxic or harmful substances,” said Kelly O’Meara, Vice President of the Humane society International.
According to those involved in the investigation, the dogs haven’t suffered any illness as a result of the blue color of their fur, but that doesn’t mean the color won’t affect them in the future.
So far, seven of the dogs in question have been examined by veterinarians and experts.
Speaking to the news outlet the news outlet RBC, the director of the veterinary clinic, Vladimir Groisman, said that “the general analysis of their blood and feces showed normal levels for all of them including their biochemistry.”
Two of the dogs have been adopted, and hopefully, someone would provide home for the rest of them too.
According to Groisman, it is very likely that the dogs had been stained by chemical residue.
This isn’t the first time for such photos of animals to be posted on the social media.
Back in 2017, a photo of a pack of dogs with light blue fur had been taken in India. The results from the examination showed that those canines had been exposed to chloride illegally pumped into the river.
The Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources launched an investigation as well. They said that they plan to file legal action to allow regular spot inspections at the factory site.
The factory, which hasn’t been working since 2015, is now abandoned and that allows dogs to roam freely around the area.
Animal right activist hope this issue will be resolved and that none of the dogs would be harmed in any way.

Before plenty of people heard of her and her talent, it was only the passersby of the streets where she performed who could enjoy young Allie Sherlock’s performances.
From busking in popular city centers, to gaining plenty of attention with her covers she posts on her YouTube channel, this lady is making a name for herself.
What else Allie does is posting videos of other people who join her on her busking journey.
Just recently, while she performed Leonard Cohen’s classic song Hallelujah, she asked a young boy to join her. It was a red-haired 12-year-old boy named Fionn Wheelan who sang the song so beautifully, he made many go aww.
Allie described him as the next Ed Sheeran, and once you hear him perform, you’ll know exactly why.
A great number of people were impressed by Fionn’s talent. Many agreed that he could become a famous musician if he decides to sing professionally, and honestly, we can’t agree more.
“It’s not often I get chills from people singing, but this kid……..WOW you’re an amazing singer!!!” one person wrote.
“That young boy’s voice gave me shivers. They both have wonderful voices,” another added.

Between the tantrums, the crying that naturally happens when they test how far they can go, and all the smiles they treat you with, it’s safe to say that bringing children up is one hell of a task that parents sometimes struggle to complete the way they have imagined.
No matter what they do, parents are often judged for their parenting style, and that makes things even harder.
Luckily, there are times when parents are praised for the methods they use, just like the mom from the video below who uses positive affirmation in order to teach her 2-year-old daughter to calm herself down.
Facebook
Shelbee Haderer of McCloud, Oklahoma, teaches daughter Brilee how to get over the tears and how to encourage herself to calm down by repeating a few adorable reminders every kid should know; “I’m okay. I’m strong. I’m beautiful. I’m loved. I’m worthy.”
In a video, which vent viral and caught the attention of a great number of people, Brilee could be seen crying because she had just accidentally smashed her little finger. But then there is her mom to remind her to use the words of encouragement, which Brilee does.
Seconds later, she’s already calmer and more composed. And everyone agrees that it’s incredible how much positive effect a few expressions of self-love can have on little children.
The video ends with the little one saying, “Thank you, mom,” and we believe that’s beyond adorable.

It goes without saying that Kate Middleton executes her role of a Princess to perfection. Not only she’s loved by her people, but also by million of others from all over the world.
Many agree that the way she speaks to the public during official visits resembles the way late Princess Diana approached the people. It seems like Kate is going the same path as her mother-in-law, and that makes her even more adorable.
Experts believe that the new title made Kate feel more powerful. Some say that once she became Princess of Wales, she no longer sees herself as William’s wife only, but as a leading member of the royal family.

“Kate’s body language has changed since she became Princess of Wales, but perhaps not in the way that people might have expected,” body language expert Judi James shared with Express.
“The pressure could have caused some signs of anxiety and even imposter syndrome, but instead her confidence signals have been on an upward trajectory recently.”
“She is now at something of a peak in terms of sending out signals, which suggests she now not only fully embraces and understands her role, but that she feels comfortable in it, too,” James continued.
She appears more confident and more independent than ever before.
At the time being, Kate is said to be getting ready to launch a brand new campaign to help children and future generations.
Karwai Tang/WireImage
This isn’t the first time the lovely Princess to be doing something meaningful for the children in need. Throughout the years, she has worked tirelessly to highlight social issues such as child care in hospitals and homelessness among children.
“Of course, there have been other distractions but the princess has had far more important things on her mind. It’s an important and exciting time,” a royal source told Mirror.
“The campaign she has been working on really is the result of several months behind the scenes (and) will launch a new three to five year programme.”
Further, the source added, “(Kate) spends a lot of time reading, meeting and speaking with professionals across the entire field – but this isn’t just one project, it’s an opportunity to make generational change for all our children.
“There are a number of creative parts in the process for parents and non-parents to be involved across the country with lots more to come and the hope is as many people as possible, from those in the medical and academic world as well as parents and non-parents, join the journey.”

Recently, she visited the HM Prison High Down in Sutton. The reason for the visit was the Forward Trust and how it helps those in the criminal justice system recover from their addictions. Kate became patron of this organization back in 2021.
During the visit, the Princess got the chance to speak to some of the prisoners about overcoming alcohol addiction, saying she doesn’t believe that addiction is a choice.
As always, Kate was dressed in accordance to the occasion.
The Princess of Wales wore Alexander McQueen dress and showed off her hew hairstyle described by the Daily Mail as “70s-style bangs and curls in her slightly shorter locks.”
“With a new season coming it’s lovely to see Kate showcasing a new hairstyle which is slightly shorter & with more layering,” personal stylist Lisa Talbot shared with the Daily Mail.
“I think this signifies a royal that is young and modern and really wants to embrace a fresh look that creates a personal brand that draws the public to her. It shows trust, empathy, kindness, and a wanting to show that she is like many women who can and will change with the times.”
Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty Images
However, it was another detail that caught the attention of many. Two of Kate’s fingers were wrapped in a bandage. She revealed that she injured herself while playing with the kids on the trampoline.
Speaking to a parent of one of the prisoners, Kate joked about her strapped-up fingers.
Earlier, during an appearance on Mike Tindall’s podcast, The Good, The Bad, And The Rugby, she said, “I suppose as a family, we were just very active.
“And I can always remember being physical, using our bodies, whether it’s walking, climbing the lake district in Scotland [or] swimming from a young age. [My parents] always encouraged us to be physically active and sporty, and they always encouraged us into doing team sports and trying things.”
Kate’s injury stopped her from helping her husband see through a log during a visit to a primary school in Hereford as she couldn’t put gloves on.
“I can’t even put that on because I’ve got two fingers stuck together!” she said.
We are glad Kate’s injury is not serious.

Although it’s something natural, childbirth is at times a complex process.
It’s not uncommon that unexpected issues arise while a mom is delivering her baby, and sadly, doctors are sometimes unable to prevent tragedies from taking place, such in the case of a five-time mother named Kelli Tyler.
This incredible woman was over the moon by the thought of welcoming a fifth child into her life. Her excitement could be seen from the photos and the videos she shared through which she documented her pregnancy.
The ultrasounds were always neat and nothing spoke trouble during the nine months that Tyler carried her baby.
On the day of the delivery, she faced a dangerous and life-threatening complication which claimed her life.
Shutterstock
Namely, the amniotic fluid got into her bloodstream and caused severe damage.
“The amniotic fluid got into Kelli’s bloodstream [and] she was losing blood more than she could take in,” Julie Roach, Tyler’s mother, explained. “I think the last words my granddaughter said — she said — were, ‘I’m about to faint.’”
An amniotic fluid embolism can happen either during the process of giving birth or shortly after.
Shutterstock
According to the Cleveland Clinic, it is “very difficult to diagnose because the symptoms can be similar to other serious complications during childbirth.”
Further, the clinic’s website writes that this is why “for reasons that are mostly unknown, some people have a severe allergic response to amniotic fluid mixing with their blood.” The consequences could be cardiac arrest, uncontrolled breathing, or lung failure.
“She would come around for a minute or so and she would code again,” Roach said of her daughter’s final moments.
As of the sweet baby, Jalie, she would never meet her mom, but her family will make sure she learns about her through photos, videos, and stories of how kind Tyler was.
Shutterstock
When it comes to Jalie’s health condition, doctors aren’t sure whether her traumatic birth would affect her in any ways.
The family started a GoFundMe page to help them with the unexpected medical costs. In a week time, three times the amount set out to be raised was raised.
We are so very sorry for this tragic loss.

They say that “if you love what you do, you’ll never have to work a day in your life,” and one very special man is here to prove this right.
Lindon Beckford has worked at a hospital for more than 30 years. His job is to take patients from the operation room to their ward. This may not sound like a very important position, but when you hear what this amazing man does for the people he cares for, you’ll understand that he really makes huge difference in their stay at the hospital and makes it the most pleasant and calming it can get.
He is well aware that these patients may feel scared and anxious, so he’s always going an extra mile and makes sure they feel relieved by putting a smile on their face.
YouTube
The first thing he does is introduce himself to the patients. He says, “My name is Lindon and I’ll be your chauffeur.” After that he starts doing what he enjoys, and make his patients enjoy too. He sings to them. Many are so surprised by his kind act that they can’t hold their tears of joy.
Believe it or not, he does this for every patient, for nearly 31 years.
When he first started working at the hospital, singing was just something that came to him naturally, but he quickly became aware of the effect it had on the terrified patients. Very often, it happens that they start singing along, and it’s mesmerizing to watch and listen to.
YouTube
Needless to say, they all feel flattered and special. They stop thinking of their problems even for a while and that means so much to them.
It really takes someone special to do what Lindon does. We definitely need more people like him in the world.

The life of the British royals has always been intriguing for the public, and it seems that the moment Harry and Meghan decided to step down from their royal duties and leave Britain behind, the members of the Firm have a hard time keeping anything behind closed doors.
Harry and Meghan sought privacy, or at least that was one of the reasons why they decided to settle in sunny California. The truth is, however, that ever since the Megxit, they have both been under the spotlight more than ever. They give interviews, do podcasts, and shoot documentaries. Harry even published an all-tell memoir, Spare, in which he accused the royals of plenty of things.
It seems that the only person Harry never spoke ill of is his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, who passed away in September of last year.
Julian Simmonds – WPA Pool / Getty Images
On the contrary, Harry and his granny had always been very close. Their bond was a strong one, and her passing filled his heart with grief.
The Queen met Harry’s daughter, Lilibet, when the couple flew to Britain for the celebration of her Platinum Jubilee.
Harry and Meghan attended only a handful of events, including the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral.
Another reason for celebration back then was Lilibet’s first birthday. Since the Sussexes were in Britain, the proud parents decided to throw a picnic party at Frogmore Cottage, their UK home. Since this was the first time for the sweet girl to visit her father’s homeland, the event was even more meaningful.
Netflix
Queen Elizabeth was reported to have been in attendance but she refused to take photos with her great-grandchildren. As per The Sun, she banned Harry and Meghan from having a photographer present because she didn’t want any images to be made public. Camilla Tominey, royal expert, claimed one of the reasons was that the Queen had a bloodshot eye.
“Harry and Meghan wanted their photographer to capture the moment Lilibet met the Queen,” an insider told The Sun. “But they were told no chance. It was a private family meeting.”
William and Kate didn’t attend Lilibet’s birthday party. It was reported that they traveled to Wales together with their three children.
“William and Kate made no effort at all to introduce Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to [Lili],” royal expert Christopher Andersen told Us Weekly, adding that there is still “a lot of tension” between Harry and Meghan and William and Kate.
“As far as I know, nobody believes they spoke [to one another] during the celebrations,” he claimed.
Netflix
Now, new details of Lilibet’s first birthday celebration emerged.
According to Paul Burrell, Princess Diana’s former butler who worked for her from 1987 until 1997, Queen Elizabeth had prepared another celebration for the one-year-old.
He claimed that the Queen even had a cake for Lili and waited for the Sussexes but they declined the invite.
“She saw her the day before. But on her birthday, the queen had a birthday cake made with one candle in it. And they never turned up. That candle was never lit.
“The next day, she asked if maybe they’d like to come up for tea again and was told they’ve gone,” Burrell remembered. “‘What do you mean they’ve gone?’ she said. They’ve gone back to America. ‘Oh no, they never said goodbye,’” Burrell added.
Allegedly, the Queen was confused by her grandson’s move.
“Well, I don’t understand anyone that could do that. Not her family, why would you want to? She was devoid of jealousy, anger, envy, all those traits that we associate with other people she didn’t have. She was just a very simple soul. I wish the world could have known her the way I knew her,” Burrell said in the interview with the Mirror.
“She was a mother, a granny, a great granny to all of them. And they all miss her. Even Harry and Meghan in Los Angeles will be thinking about the queen on her anniversary because Harry was a particular favourite.”

These claims haven’t been backed up by any other sources.
This isn’t the first time that Diana’s former butler speaks of the royals. In the past, he made many revelations which left Harry furious.
The Prince even accused Burrell of using his mother’s name in order to make money.
“Mummy’s former butler had penned a tell-all which actually told nothing. It was merely one man’s self-justifying, self-centering version of events. My mother once called this butler a dear friend and trusted him implicitly. We did too. Now this,” Harry wrote in Spare.
“He was milking her disappearance for money. It made my blood boil.”

LOS ANGELES - JUN 9: Julie Andrews at the 48th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute Celebrating Julie Andrews at Dolby Theater on June 9, 2022 in Los Angeles, CA
Actress Julie Andrews has always been a synonym for elegance and grace.
Her career has spanned decades, and for Andrews, it all started when she discovered her four-octave-singing voice which led to her landing her first Broadway performance on The Boy Friend in 1954. However, it was the role of Eliza Doolittle in the famous musical My Fair Lady that led to the world learning of Andrews and her talent.
Andrews’ career skyrocketed with her iconic role of Mary Poppins for which she won an Academy Award.
Speaking of the role and the film, Andrews said, “It was a brand new thing in my life that I’d never done before. It was for Walt Disney, of course, and the songs in Mary Poppins had a kind of Vaudeville quality to them.
“I think it’s what attracted me to the role, because all that kind of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and Jolly Holiday music was very much like the kind of things that you hear in English vaudeville,” the actress added.

The film helped Disney break records, becoming the highest-grossing film of 1964 and earning 13 nominations at the Academy Awards.
The inspiration behind the costumes, which were formal on the outside but colorful on the inside, was Andrews’ then-husband Tony Walton.
“Because I think that’s what gives her pleasure. Very formal on the outside and a little bit wicked on the inside,” he told her at the time, the actress revealed.
“It completely gave me a clue as to her character. Big, big help for me,” she added, giving him credit.
Most recently, Andrews narrated Netflix’s Bridgerton series as Lady Whistledown, but said she doesn’t have any plans of appearing on camera, completely shutting down that possibility.
“No, no, no,” she said. “You know who Lady Whistledown really is, so I’m afraid it stays with me in the background. But I’m very happy to do that.”
Shutterstock
Andrews’ fans were happy to see the actress looking as radiant as ever on recent photos of her obtained by the Daily Mail.
The 87-year-old actress was spotted at the Sag Harbor farmers’ market in The Hamptons on Long Island, New York. Walking with a help of a cane, she waved at the passersby who greeted her.
Andrews could be seen holding two boxes of Lu Petit Écolier dark chocolate cookies, while her daughter Emma Hamilton, who accompanied her and helped get inside the SUV, carried a a bouquet of flowers.
It is known that she and her daughter are very close and have a very strong bond. What’s most, they have worked together over the years and wrote 30 books together.

As always, Andrews was perfectly dressed. She wore a light gray long-sleeve shirt paired with fitted trousers and had a white scarf around her neck. She enhanced her looks with golden earrings and tote bag.
Her fans were quick to comment about the delight of seeing Andrews. One person wrote, “Lovely as ever,” while another added: “So beautiful.”
Realizing that despite her advanced age Andrews hasn’t lost her charm and her signature smile made many happy.

Bullying in schools deprives a huge number of children of their right to education. Sadly, this form of violence is way more common than people assume and schools are sometimes unable to prevent it from taking place.
Unfortunately, the consequences of bullying are long-lasting and affect the victim’s self-esteem.
William Gierke, 9, wanted to contribute to the raise of awareness of breast cancer by buying a pink T-shirt with the words Tough Guys Wear Pink written on it.
He felt proud and couldn’t wait to wear the T-shirt to school not assuming that his classmates would make fun of him.
When they saw him wearing pink, they started calling him names such as “sissy.”
TODAY’S TMJ4 / YouTube
William felt heartbroken and went home crying. When his mom realized that he was bullied because of the color of his outfit, she was mad. Seeing her son chocking in tears didn’t feel right. He was so hurt that he didn’t even want to go to school the following day.
His mom didn’t know how to help him, but luckily, his teacher was there to make things right.
Namely, William’s teacher, David Winter, learned of the bullying so he decided to step up for William by wearing a pink T-shirt himself.
His teacher showing solidarity meant the world to William.

“I feel more comfortable, I don’t let it bother me anymore,” William said after his teacher took a stand against the bullies.
We need more people like this teacher in the world. It’s because of actions like their that this world is a much better place.

September 8th marked the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s passing.
As expected, members of the Firm attended church prayers and laid flowers to commemorate the late queen who was the head of the monarchy longer than any other monarch in history.
For a huge number of Britons, Queen Elizabeth II was more than just a ruler who led their country for incredible 70 years. She was their strength and a motherly figure, thus her passing brought immense grief and sadness.
When the news of her ill-heatlh was shared in the media on the day of her passing, a huge number of people gathered together and filled the streets of the major cities around United Kingdom as a sign of support. The number of those that arrived at Balmoral Castle, the Queen’s summer residence where she passed away, was even bigger.
When members of the royalty started arriving one by one, everyone assumed the Queen was living her last moments. Sadly, that happened to be the truth which left millions of people from all around the world heartbroken.

Prior to her passing, media reported that the Queen was under medical supervision as her health was fragile.
BBC One suspended its regular program amid the concerns over Queen Elizabeth’s well-being.
Prime Minister Liz Tuss issued a statement saying that she received the news of the Queen’s passing around 4.30 p.m. local time.
“We’re all devastated by the news that we have just heard from Balmoral. The death of Her Majesty the Queen is a huge shock to the nation and to the world. Queen Elizabeth II was the rock on which modern Britain was built,” Truss said.
“Our country has grown and flourished under her reign. Britain is the great country it is today because of her,” she added.
“We are now a modern, thriving, dynamic nation. Through thick and thin, Queen Elizabeth II provided us with the stability and strength that we needed.”

A close friend of the late Queen opened up about her final days and revealed that monarch was in ‘a lot of pain’ and that her sight and hearing had deteriorated considerably in the weeks leading to her death.
“For the last years of her life, certainly from when her husband died [in April 2021], the Queen was in a lot of pain,” the source close to the late Queen’s told The Daily Beast.
“In the final months, of course, it got very much worse; by the time of the Platinum Jubilee, she couldn’t see very much, she couldn’t hear very much, and she was easily confused,” the friend of Queen Elizabeth added.
“She barely moved from her apartments in Windsor Castle. Appearing on the balcony at Windsor Castle for the Jubilee required a titanic effort.”

King Charles and Queen Elizabeth attended Crathie Kirk church for a private memorial prayer on Friday morning.
Charles thanked the nation for remembering his late mother. In a statement, the King wrote, “In marking the first anniversary of Her Late Majesty’s death and my accession, we recall with great affection her long life, devoted service, and all she meant to so many of us.
“I am deeply grateful, too, for the love and support that has been shown to my wife and myself during this year as we do our utmost to be of service to you all.”
Prince Harry, who was very close to his grandmother, attended the WellChild Awards in London and paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth.
“As you know, I was unable to attend the awards last year as my grandmother passed away. As you probably also know, she would have been the first person to insist that I still come to be with you all instead of going to her,” Harry said.
“And that’s precisely why I know exactly one year on that she’s looking down on us tonight, happy we are together – continuing to spotlight such an incredible community.”

Before heading to Germany for the Invictus Games, Harry visited his grandmother’s resting place at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on September 8.
William and Kate took part in a service remembering Queen Elizabeth at the historic St. David’s Cathedral.
As a tribute to the late Queen, Kate wore pearl and diamond earrings from the late Queen’s jewelry collection.
“Pearls are one of the very few jewelry items you can wear in mourning and are inextricably linked with Queen Elizabeth and her personal jewelry legacy,” Bethan Holt, author of The Queen: 70 Years of Majestic Style, previously told People. “It’s a symbol of mourning a monarch but also a grandmother or great-grandmother.”
As the couple were leaving the cathedral, they got the chance to chat to some of the people in front of it, including the local flying instructor Patricia Mquili Porter OBE. According to lip-reader Jacqui Press, Mquili spoke of her memories of the Queen, to what Kate replied: “We all have wonderful memories of her, we have to hold on to them, cherish them,” as per the Daily Mail.

While signing the visitor’s book, a member of the staff pointed to a beautiful message written in lovely handwriting, to what Kate added: “Yes, indeed. It’s wonderful to see what they were thinking about at that time.”
“Some great memories of The Queen,” William added. Kate then smiled and noted that she “had to be conscious” of signing her signature.
The Prince and Princess of Wales also spoke to the media and shared photos of late Queen Elizabeth. In one of them, she was meeting her beloved corgis, and in another she was surrounded by her great-grandchildren at Balmoral Castle.
“Today we remember the extraordinary life and legacy of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth. We all miss you. W&C.”

A man named Jason has been working as a pilot for many years. During the course of his career, he’s faced plenty of unexpected situations which required quick-thinking in order to be resolved.
One particular situation, however, made him a hero.
During a flight which had just taken place, the plane Jason operated was suddenly attacked by a colossal flock of birds that were creating bangs on the plane’s windows.
The sight was so unusual that it left Jason in a state of shock. However, knowing that the lives of the passengers were in his hands, he tried to find a way and escape the angry birds, which wasn’t as easy as he through it would.
As he tried to convince everyone on the flight that everything was going to be just right, he prayed that the birds don’t damage the engine.
Sadly, the birds were only getting more and more aggressive, leaving Jason wondering what to do next in order to get rid of them.
He called for flight control assistance but the control tower was silent.
Unable to maintain control of the plane, he made a decision to return to the airport but the attacks became even more aggressive that he was eventually forced to attempt a maneuver he had never tried before; water landing.
No matter how crazy that sounded, it was the only reasonable option that came to this pilot’s mind.
Despite the rough landing, no passenger was injured.
Rescuers arrived at the scene and tugboats were dispatched to pull the plane out of the water. Each of the passengers was taken to safety, but it took some time for this rescue operation to take place since the attacks by the birds continued. The rescue services tried to frighten them, but the birds were persistent, and nobody knew why.
An investigation finally revealed what triggered the flock of birds to attack the plane. It turned out that one of the passengers was trying to smuggle some birds and was involved in the illegal trade in exotic birds.
When everything ended and Jason realized everyone was safe, he felt relieved and cried tears of joy. Not only he avoided a catastrophe, but he exposed a criminal trade.
This is yet another example of the challenges people who are part of the aviation face.
Jason was praised for his action and his ability to stay calm and focused on ensuring the safety on every passenger on board.
It was all thanks to this man that the illegal business that caused the birds’ strange behavior to be brought to an end.

October 1, 2017, changed everything for many families who went through a nightmare and lost their loved ones in what is believed to be one of the most horrific mass shootings the country has ever witnessed.
A maniac opened fire at a large audience during the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, claiming the lives of forty-eight people and injuring 851 more.
Among the injures was Jovanna Calzadillas, a 30-year-old mother of two.

She was rushed to the nearest hospital, but having been shot in the head, her chances of survival were dull, according to the doctors.
Jovanna’s husband, Francisco ‘Frank’ Calzadillas, who was with her when the shooting took place, was told he should consider taking her off life support.
He couldn’t possibly imagine his life without his wife and was very hesitant about the doctors’ words, although he was aware the chances of his wife ever recovering were beyond slim.
Jovanna with her friends, just hours before the attack (Photo: Facebook)
One night, however, he had a dream in which Jovanna approached him and said, “everything will be fine.”
This dream only convinced him that he should never give up on his wife. He informed the doctors that he made a decision not to “pull the cord,” and his intuition and faith didn’t fail him.
Just days later, to the surprise of the doctors, Jovanna woke up.
“Her shot injury was difficult, but we prayed and hoped and then she woke up,” said Frank, a policeman with the Salt River Police Department in Arizona.
Of course, her recovery took a lot of time and a lot of strength, but she knew she needed to fight hard not only for her but for her husband and children too.
The memories of the massacre hunt her until this very day, but she tries to put that experience behind.
Today, Jovanna speaks of her feeling openly and does all in her power to lead a normal life.
“Some of me disappeared that night on October 1,” she says. “Even though I will not be the same old Jovanna, I will come back stronger.”
“I will fight for them,” adds Jovanna, referring to her family. “And I will not stop believing in myself.”
Her words help many other victims who have gone through similar tragedies.
“We will not let people like him [the shooter] win,” she says. “And we will not live in fear.”
This woman is an inspiration for many. She’s a living proof that we can overcome any obstacle that stands on our way of leading a normal life.
When Josh Daniel took the stage of X-Factor, no one knew what to expect from him.
He introduced himself as a mechanic who lived with his mother, but it was another part about his life that made the judges and everyone in the audience emotional.
Back in 2014, Josh lost his best friend. One day, he was called to the hospital to say his goodbye to the person who had always been by his side, through thick and thin. By the end of the day, his friend was gone forever.
Josh chose the song Jealous by Labrinth. For those of you who haven’t heard this song, it is about being jealous when your ex moves on with someone else.
The lyrics go, “It’s hard for me to say, I’m jealous of the way you’re happy without me.”
However, Josh changed the lyrics to fit his emotional state and the pain which came with his friend’s passing.
“I’m jealous that he’s now happy in heaven — that he’s moved on to a better place, and that I can’t still be with him,” Josh sang.
These words he uttered triggered many tears at the audience and the judges. They even made Simon shed tears.
This performance is truly moving and it is an incredible tribute to a loved one who left this world way too early.

Keeping up with the Hollywood glam sometimes means defying age with the help of procedures and plastic surgeries. It’s not a secret that many celebrities opt to go under the knife for the sake of the good and youthful looks and the opportunities that looks brings.
However, not everyone who is part of the film industry is willing to follow this trend, and actress Sally Field is one of them.
Having been part of films such as Smokey and the Bandit, Norma Rae, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Forrest Gump, and having received plenty of awards for her acting, including Two Academy Awards, two BAFTA Film Award nominations, three Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two SAG Awards, and most recently the Life Achievement Award, it’s safe to say Field has a career she can brag about.
Regardless of her age, 76, she still looks as stunning as ever and accepts her natural appearance. During her speech for the SAG Achievement Award she wore a magnificent black gown and embraced her naturally grey hair.
“I felt guarded, reserved, and out of the spotlight. But I was never sure what I’d say or do on stage. I would astonish myself,” the actress said. “I wasn’t hoping for praise or attention, though it’s excellent.”
She continued: “Acting has always been about preserving those priceless moments when I feel whole, thoroughly, and occasionally dangerously alive. Finding a path there has always been a challenge.
“They allowed me to open up and let me know things about myself that I never would have known otherwise. I’ve been working all my life. She continued for almost 60 years; there hasn’t been a day when I haven’t been genuinely happy to identify as an actor.”
Back in 2016, she was asked how she felt about playing an elderly, eccentric woman, Doris Miller.
“It’s okay that I’m an old woman; 70 is old. My years have given me strength; I have earned the right to have them, and I have owned them. And even if I dislike my neck and many other things, it’s alright,” Field told NPR.
And when it comes the natural process of aging, Field opts to stay true to herself despite the fact that the fight against ageism in Hollywood is a real one. “’Oh, I wish that weren’t happening to my neck,’ I think when I watch myself on television. Additionally, your eyes are bulging, and your face is collapsing. Then, though, I come across some of the women (who have undergone plastic surgery) who I once thought were stunning. Oh no, I’m feeling right now. Avoid doing it! And that would seem disrespectful to who they are right now,” she once said.
Field was married two times and went through two divorces. In 1986, she married Steven Craig with whom she welcomed two sons. The couple untied the knot in 1975.
She then dated Burt Reynolds before she married film producer Alan Greisman. Field and Greisman share a son together.
Eventually, she decided to commit all her time to her career but it was when she became a grandmother that her life took on a new dimension.
She embraced the new role and loves spending time with her grandchildren at her wonderful beach house with ocean views.
We love Sally Field.

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick’s love story is the perfect proof that Hollywood marriages do last.
This year, they celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary, and reminded us why their love for one another is still going strong.
The pair isn’t new to posting cute messages about one another on their social media, and this milestone celebration wasn’t an exception.
Both Kevin and Kyra posted about their anniversary and shared throwback photos from the early days of their relationship.
“35 years feels like a heartbeat,” Kevin captioned the photo showing his shirtless and young self with his dear wife sitting in his lap.
As expected, friends and people close to the couple posted their well-wishes. Rita Wilson commented, “You guys! happy anniversary. Is it really true? The pace is extremely quick! We will shortly turn 36, making us 35.”
Kyra also posted about the anniversary and reminded her husband just how much she loves him with a photo of herself from her younger days, having her hair pulled back and wearing a letterman jacket with Kevin behind her.
“I met a man named Kevin in 1987 while working on the set of ‘Lemon Sky’. Cheers to 35, my love.”
What we love about this celeb couple is that they are both grounded and very affectionate about each other.
In the past, Kevin spoke of the moment he first laid eyes on Kyra and thought to himself that she is beyond amazing.
Kyra on the other hand said, “I remember thinking, ‘Oh, he thinks he’s really cool.’” But just a day after their first date, she realized he was the one. “I remember waking up and going, ‘I feel like home.’” She added: “I realized, ‘Oh, that was him.’”
“The best Hollywood duo for life!” one fan wrote, while another added: “My favorite Hollywood couple!”
Clearly, we can’t agree more.
When Kevin turned 65, Kyra made his day a memorable one, despite him not being a fan of birthday celebrations.
“Anyone who knows me knows I’m not a fan of my birthday. My wife has made this a beautiful day. She has said recently our marriage is like roast chicken, so she made a perfect chicken for dinner, followed by my favorite–buckwheat banana bread with chocolate icing. Perfect day,” he wrote.
He even posted two photos, one showing a piece of his birthday cake, and another one of the roasted chicken. Obviously, this made many fans’ day as well.
Kevin and Kyra tied the knot in September 1988. They share two children together, 34-year-old son named Travis Bacon and 31-year-old daughter named Sosie Bacon.
Happy anniversary to a wonderful couple.

With the birth of Prince George, Britain got a future king. His entrance into the world was celebrated not only in his homeland, but all over the world.
The now Prince and Princess of Wales became parents for the first time, and Prince Harry became an uncle.
However, it looks like Harry’s excitement and the way he envisioned the future with George in his life were short-lived.
According to the Duke of Sussex, things between him and William and Kate changed following George’s birth.
Harry, the proud uncle, never missed a chance to share with the world how happy he was with his new role. However, according to his all-tell memoir Spare, things didn’t turn out as he expected.
“I was an uncle. Willy and Kate had welcomed their first child, George, and he was beautiful. I couldn’t wait to teach him about rugby and Rorke’s Drift, flying and corridor cricket – and maybe give him a few pointers about how to survive life in the fishbowl,” Harry wrote.

Back in the day, when George was born, Harry was asked how he felt about becoming an uncle, to what he replied, “When I saw him [Prince George] he was crying as all babies do, but it’s fantastic to have a new member of the family. I hope my brother knows how expensive my babysitting charges will be.”
Further, when asked what his ‘duties’ will likely involve, Harry explained, “To make sure he has a good upbringing, to keep him out of harm’s way and make sure he has fun. The rest of it I leave up to the parents.”
Two years later, when Princess Charlotte was born, Harry was overjoyed, but sadly, he wasn’t home at the time which didn’t mean he didn’t share the joy with his family. “I went to Australia for a round of military exercises, and while there, I got word: Willy and Kate had welcomed their second child. Charlotte. I was an uncle again and very happy about it,” he wrote in Spare.
When Kate and William moved into Kengsington Palace as they needed more space following George’s birth, Harry moved into Nottingham Cottage, which is within walking distance from William’s home.

Being that close to one another, Harry was convinced he would be spending plenty of quality time with his nephew. But it didn’t turn out to be the case.
Harry wrote it was “nice to get out of the old place, but even better to live in front of Willy and Kate,” and he “could see myself dropping in to see them all the time.” He even imagined “throwing himself on the floor” to wrestle with George. But the reality was different.
“I took it for granted that I would be invited to their house at any moment. But the days went by, and it didn’t happen,” he explained. “I understand, I thought. They’re busy! Building a family! Or maybe… three’s a crowd. Maybe if I get married things will change.”
Pool/Max Mumby/Getty Images
Being 10 years old, George is aware of everything that is going on in the family. He knows his uncle lives away and is aware of the feud between him and his father and there is no way of protecting him from knowing all this.
“They’ve lost Uncle Harry and so forth, and he realizes he’s got to step up to it – 10-year-olds can often be quite mature. A lot has happened in the last 18 months for the Royal Family, and they can’t possibly protect him from all of it, there’s been huge events, the Queen has died, and that has pushed William and Kate up a gear, up a rank and by definition George as well,” royal expert Tessa Dunlop told OK! Magazine.
“And he’ll be aware of that, and I get the impression that he’s almost accepted to an extent that ‘these aspects come with my role being part of this unique family’, and ‘I’m going to do that for mum and dad and for Grandpa.’”
She added: “We saw him embrace his role at the King’s Coronation and I expect one of the ways to help him was to have some of his friends alongside him, perhaps that was part of helping George normalise his experience.”
Chris Jackson/Getty Images
Another royal expert, Angela Levin, believes that William and Kate should prevent their oldest son from going down the same path as Harry and therefore, they should keep his uncle out of George’s life.
“Kate and William are there to help him [George],” Levin told UK Magazine, quoted by the NY Post.
“But he needs to be kept away from Harry’s negative influence, she added. “George doesn’t have a dysfunctional family, unlike William and Harry growing up, so he should fare better. Kate and William are there to help him.”
It’s not known when the last meeting between Harry and his nephew took place. They did get a glimpse of each other during King Charles’ coronation, where George served as a Page of Honor, but many believe that was it as Harry missed the ceremony at Westminster Abby and flew to the States for his son’s birthday celebration.
Karwai Tang/WireImage
Angela Epstein, a royal expert, believes that Harry might have “overlooked the damage he could do” to George, as the young prince might be paying the prize.
“So given the way tragedy arced his young life, surely Harry’s concern for his own nephew, George, would be a matter of auto-fill. As the doting and fun-loving uncle, Harry has always displayed affection for his brother’s three young children,” Epstein told the Express.
“So the possibility that George, as second in line to the throne, could be harmed in any way by the Duke’s rage against the monarchy should surely be a concern to him.”

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle began dating, he knew she was the one, so he was quick to share that with the world.
According to royal experts, Harry was eager to introduce Meghan to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and he truly hoped she would approve of his relationship with the former actress.
To his delight, the Queen embraced Meghan, although she believed Harry was “perhaps a little over-in-love” with his new bride.
The relationship between Meghan and the Queen blossomed.
“[The Queen] liked Meghan and told lots of people so. And she did everything she could to make her future granddaughter-in-law feel welcome,” British broadcaster Gyles Brandreth wrote in the book Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait, according to an excerpt of it, which was published in the Daily Mail.
Meghan and Queen Elizabeth attended a handful of royal engagements together and they seemed to enjoyed spending time together.
During an occasion, Meghan shared that the late Queen showed her warmth towards her and made her feel welcomed with a simple act of kindness which meant the world to the Duchess.
“We were in the car going between engagements. And she has a blanket that sits across her knees for warmth, and it was chilly,” Meghan recalled. “She was like, ‘Meghan, come on,’ and put it over my knees as well. And it made me think of my grandmother, where she’s always been warm and inviting and really welcoming.”
In June 2018, after Meghan joined the queen on a solo appearance, a source told US Weekly, “[Her Majesty] has a brilliant sense of humor. That’s one of the first things that brought her and Meghan closer. It’s that warm side of her that has made Meghan feel so at ease.”
Unfortunately, Queen Elizabeth died on September 8, 2022, and the news of her passing took the world by storm.

Prince Harry spoke of his beloved grandmother in an interview with 60 Minutes and gave details about the tumultuous hours surrounding her majesty’s passing.
“I asked my brother — I said, ‘What are your plans? How are you and Kate getting up there?’ And then, a couple of hours later, you know, all of the family members that live within the Windsor and Ascot area were jumping on a plane together,” Harry told Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes.
Harry only learned his grandma passed away as he landed, so he didn’t get the chance to see her alive for one last time.
“I walked into the hall and [Princess Anne] was there to greet me,” Harry told 60 Minutes. “And she asked me if I wanted to see her. I thought about it for about five seconds, thinking, ‘Is this a good idea?’ And I was, like, ‘You know what? You can do this. You need to say goodbye.’ So went upstairs, took my jacket off and walked in and just spent some time with her alone.”
Harry continued: “She was in her bedroom. [She] was actually — I was really happy for her. Because she’d finished life. She’d completed life, and her husband [Prince Philip] was waiting for her. And the two of them are buried together.”
In his all-tell memoir Spare, Harry wrote of his grandmother and her sudden passing.
In his memoir, Harry wrote more about getting to say his last goodbyes to the Queen.
“I stayed in one place without moving, gazing at her for a long time, gathered strength and continued going forward,” Harry recalled and added that he whispered a very precious thing to her.
“I hoped she was happy and that she was with grandpa,” he whispered to the Queen, telling her how he “admired her for having carried out her functions to the end… the Jubilee, welcoming the new Prime Minister.”
Jeff J Mitchell/Getty Images
Further, Harry revealed details concerning his wife and explained how then-Prince Charles told him to come to Balmoral without his wife.
“…then my father called again. He told me I was welcome at Balmoral, but… without her. He started to explain his reasons, but they didn’t make any sense at all, and it was disrespectful as well. I did not tolerate it from him. ‘Don’t even think about talking about my wife like that.’ Repentant, he said, stammering, that he simply didn’t want the place to be full of people.”
“‘Nobody’s wife was going to go, not even Kate,’ he told me, ‘so Meg shouldn’t either,’” he concluded.
However, rumors are that the reasons behind Meghan’s absence at Balmoral on the day the Queen died could have something to do with Kate Middleton.
At around 2 pm on the day the Queen died, spokesperson of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said Meghan planned to accompany her husband to Balmoral. However, the Queen died an hour and ten minutes later.
When photos of Kate in a car, picking up the children from Lambrook School emerged, Meghan changed her mind.
She was “like the Duchess of Cambridge,” staying at home, Omid Scobie, author of the controversial biography Finding Freedom tweeted.
As per the Daily Mail, Kate was the “reason” why Meghan didn’t travel. Because of the now-Princess of Wales, the Duchess “changed her mind.”

Meghan, of course, attended the Queen’s funeral.
In an interview with Variety following Queen Elizabrth’s deatd, Meghan Markle opened up about how she was mourning the late monarch.
“What’s so beautiful is to look at the legacy that his grandmother was able to leave on so many fronts. Certainly, in terms of female leadership, she is the most shining example of what that looks like. I feel deep gratitude to have been able to spend time with her and get to know her. It’s been a complicated time, but my husband, ever the optimist, said, ‘Now she’s reunited with her husband,’” Meghan said.
“I’ve reflected on that first official engagement that I had with her, how special that felt. I feel fortunate. And I continue to be proud to have had a nice warmth with the matriarch of the family.”

When Kevin Costner divorced his first wife Cindy Silva, who was his college sweetheart, the couple went through a nasty divorce and it led to a long period of loneliness for the Yellowstone star.
Eventually, he started dating Christine Baumgartner, whom he later married. The couple first dated and split because Costner didn’t want to have more children, to which the former model said, “I’m going to wait for you, but not long. When you come to your senses, come back to me’” and he did.
They eventually welcomed three children together, making the actor a father of seven.
Sadly, after nearly 19 years together, Costner and Baumgartner announced they are divorcing recently.
Apparently, Costner’s absence was ‘hard’ for Baumgartner who wanted him to spend more time at home with his family in Santa Barbara.
“During filming, Kevin is not around very much. His absence has been very hard for her,” a source reportedly said. Another insider reported that while Costner was aware that his wife was not happy in their marriage, her filing for divorce was nonetheless a shock to him.
Baumgartner was seeking $161,000 a month in child support for their three children, Cayden Wyatt, 15, Hayes Logan, 14, and Grace Avery, 13.
In order to try and guarantee this income, Baumgartner went to court, but it was Costner who scored the victory, as per his fans, although the actor said there were ‘no winners’ in the bruising battle.
Namely, a judge in Santa Barbara slashed Baumgartner’s child support payments to $63,000 per month, which is less than half of the $129,000 she currently gets and considerably less than the $161,000 she asked for.
“You know, when you have a life that long with somebody, there is no winner…and it’s this big, crazy thing called life and how it unravels so quickly,” the actor told Fox News Digital.
“One minute you feel like you’re on top of the world, and then you realize how, you know, how vulnerable you are,” he added.
Costner took the stand for a second time during the final hour of the hearing and explained how he feared that he would need to take on jobs he’s not comfortable with so that his now-ex wife be awarded an ‘inflated’ level of child support.
“I want to help but the thought of having things inflated to the point I can’t do what I want to do…,” he said, apologizing to his ex-wife. “Somehow in this unusual world ,we didn’t make it and for that, I’m sorry.”
In November, there will be a trial held over her request of spousal support and their prenuptial agreement.

Despite the claims by the Sussexes that the need for privacy had been the main reason for stepping down from their royal duties and leaving Britain for sunny California, both Harry and Meghan seem to enjoy the attention they are given by the media.
Ever since their departure from the Firm, the Duke and the Duchess have been giving interviews, slamming Harry’s family. They have also signed contracts with Netflix, which has released documentaries on their lives. Harry also published a book, his all-tell memoir Spare, in which he revealed plenty of juicy details about the royals.

And while the couple doesn’t let any photos of their children being taken or posted on the social media, theNetflix documentary released in December 2022, which featured the couple’s life in the States, included pictures and videos of now Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Diana.
However, as much as little ones’ childhood is filled with plenty of attention from their parents, the fact that they are so far away from the rest of the family, especially their cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, is concerning.
Netflix
The truth is that the lives of Harry’s and William’s children are very different, and those differences will only grow bigger as time passes by.
Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, is one of those who believes this will happen. In fact, he says that Archie and Lilibet Archie and Lilibet being far away from their UK royal family might become a sad issue in the future.
Burrell believes that when Harry would shares stories about his late mother to their children, it will led to confusion.
“I think that Archie and Lilibet will say, ‘Well why aren’t we part of that world? We’re prince and princess, and we should be part of the royal family.’” Burrell said. “That’s a big question for your children to ask you when you decided you don’t want to be part of that world.”

Further, the former butler says how he believes that Meghan not speaking to her husband’s family, or her own father, leaves her children only be close to her mother, their grandmother, Doria Ragland. Sadly, this means that Archie and Lili won’t have much family, and it’s “unfair” that they have been “cast out.”
“I think it’s unfair in many ways that the children have been cast out, as well as the parents,” Burrell continued. “Because the children didn’t choose to be cast out. The parents chose for them.
“What Harry and Meghan have done, in fact, is deny them of their heritage,” he added. “And I think that by the time they’re 18, they’ll turn to Meghan and Harry and say, ‘Why weren’t we part of that? Why didn’t we experience that? Why don’t we know our cousins? Why don’t we know this world, which is half ours? There comes a dilemma.”

When Archie was born, Harry wasn’t much interested in revealing details surrounding the birth of the baby. However, he was forced into sharing with the people that Archie arrived into the world due to the breach of the “unwritten contract between the royals and the public.”
In her book The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown, author Katie Nicholl described Harry as “almost morbidly obsessed” with keeping Archie’s birth as secretive as possible.
“Behind the scenes, matters were so fraught that more than one official — as I know from personal experience — was reduced to tears of frustration and despair,” Rebecca English, royal editor of the Daily Mail, added.
Now, with the family residing in the States, they don’t need to worry about cameras or paparazzi photographers that much, nor they are forced to post photos of their children on their birthdays, as it is with the royal family’s tradition.

But, no matter how private Harry tends to be about his children, his recent Netflix documentary about the Invictus Games showed a photo of Archie in the background of one of Harry’s clips.
In the photograph, standing on Harry’s desk, now 4-year-old Archie could be seen holding a toy while dressed in white shoes, a blue jumper with the letter A written across the chest, and gray jeans.
The boy is getting bigger and from what could be seen on the photograph, the little Prince resembles his father a lot.
The documentary also featured the speech Harry gave to all athletes competing in the 2022 Invictus Games.

Among the rest, he spoke of his son Archie and what he dreams of becoming when he grows up.
“To be role models, or the role models that each of you are, takes strength, and it takes courage,” Harry said.
“When I talk to my son Archie about what he wants to be when he grows up, some days it’s an astronaut, other days it’s a pilot – a helicopter pilot, obviously. Or Kwazii from Octonauts. If you’re laughing, then you’ve seen that,” he added.
Octonauts is a series which follows a group of animals serving as a rescue team at sea.
“But what I remind him is that no matter what you want to be when you grow up, it’s your character that matters most, and nothing would make his mum and me prouder than to see him have the character of what we see before us today,” Harry continued.

A statement shared on his social media read: “Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1st surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs.
“He lived his life like a song till the very last breath and will be missed beyond measure by so many.”
The Cheeseburger in Paradise hitmaker started receiving hospice care a few weeks ago and he was reportedly visited by Paul McCartney, who sang for him.
According to people close to the singer, his condition developed into lymphoma, which has been the exact cause of death.

"Shores distant shores, There's where I'm headed for, I got the stars to guide my way, Sail into the light of day…" #BoatsToBuild
Buffett’s friends and fellow musicians paid tribute to him over posts on social media.
Alan Jackson quoted the lyrics of the song Boats to Build, which he and late Buffett recorded together in 2004. “Shores distant shores / There’s where I’m headed for / I got the stars to guide my way / Sail into the light of day…” the lyric read.
