Sweet Harper is a little girl who seems to love the rain so very much. Well, we do understand why she enjoys the drops falling down and wakening that specific scent that radiates from the ground. Whereas some people hate the idea of going out when raining, there are also those who love feeling the drops getting down their skin, and Harper belongs to the latter.

When her dad sees it started to rain, he offers his lovely daughter to take her out for a couple of seconds, just for her to feel the drops of rain on her face. Needless to say, she is over the moon by this “journey” she gets to experience for the first time in her life.

Being out in the rain is so fun that Harper can’t stop giggling. In fact, she managed to put a smile on millions of faces who have seen the video of her playing in the summer rain.

Realizing Harper is happy, dad decided to get her out while carrying her in his arms one more time. And later, he took her hand and let her walk, thus many agree he’s one really cool dad.

Who knew that such a little child having fun in the rain could become one of the cutest videos ever? Take a look at Harper below. Isn’t she adorable?

Donald Trump’s sister Maryanne is secretly recorded saying her brother is “a cruel” man with “no principles”

Pretty much everyone is familiar with the life story of Fred Trump, one of the wealthiest men and most successful businessmen in the U.S. He built his empire with nothing but a hard work and then left most of it to his son Donald Trump.

When Donald inherited the construction business in Manhattan, people knew the Trump empire will only grow bigger and bigger, and that’s exactly what happened.

Besides becoming a magnate just like his father, Donald Trump also became the 45th President of America. However, he’s not the only successful person in the Trump family.

One of Donald’s older sisters, Maryanne Trump Barry, had a very rich career and helped promote the family’s name in her own right. From what she has been saying of her younger brother over the years, the relationship between the two was a perfect one, but then, recordings of her speaking of Donald emerged in 2018 and 2019 and the wide public realized she hadn’t been completely honest in the past when it came to her relationship with the former president.

Maryanne pursued a career as a lawyer and became one after graduating from Hofstra University in 1974 and earning a law degree. Shortly afterwards, she got her first job with the U.S Attorney’s Office in New Jersey.

Her career moved on when she was appointed as a Federal Judge in 1983 to the District Court of New Jersey by President Ronald Reagan and was later appointed to the U.S Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit during President Clinton’s presidency. Maryanne retired in 2011.

She used to spoke of her father’s wealth and said in many occasions how she sort of “stepped down” because she didn’t want to be Donald’s rival in running the business. “I knew better even as a child than to even attempt to compete with Donald,” she told New York Mag. “I wouldn’t have been able to win. He was building models when he was very young. Huge buildings.”

In the book The Trumps: Three Generations That Built an Empire, Maryanne wrote: “There’s no question Donald helped me get on the bench. I was good, but not that good.”

However, despite the support the siblings had provided for one another during the years, The Washington Post published secretly recorded audios in which Maryanne could be heard describing Donald Trump as a “cruel” man with “no principles.”

“All he wants to do is appeal to his base,” Maryanne tells her niece Mary Trump in one of the recordings. “He has no principles. None. None. And his base, I mean my God, if you were a religious person, you want to help people. Not do this.”

“His g——- tweet and lying, oh my God,” the sister added. “I’m talking too freely, but you know. The change of stories. The lack of preparation. The lying. Holy s—.”

“He got into University of Pennsylvania because he had somebody take the exams,” Maryanne Trump Barry said in the recording. “SATs or whatever. That’s what I believe.”

The White House rejected these allegations.

Mary Trump is the daughter of Fred Trump Jr. and Donald Trump’s niece who was doing all in her power for Trump not to become a president as she was involved into an inheritance dispute with the Trumps.

As for the rest of Donald Trump’s family, and that includes Maryanne Trump Barry, they all support Donald and are very close to him until this day.

Biden says Trump failed at preparing the country for COVID-19 vaccine

President Joe Biden “accused” his predecessor for not doing a good job when it comes to preparing the American citizens for vaccination.

According to Reuters, Biden said during a news conference at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland that the coronavirus program he inherited from Trump was in “much worse shape” than he expected. Further, he explained how Trump failed to secure the doses needed, while Biden himself managed to purchase 100 million doses from Moderna and additional 100 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine in the first three weeks of taking the office.

At the same time, Biden acknowledged the hard work by the scientists who worked on the vaccine and thanked them for developing it with such an emergency. HuffPost reported the president saying: “While scientists did their job in discovering vaccines in record time, my predecessor — I’ll be very blunt about it — did not do his job in getting ready for the massive challenge of vaccinating hundreds of millions of Americans. He didn’t order enough vaccines. He didn’t mobilize enough people to administer the shots, and he didn’t set up federal vaccine centers where eligible people could go and get their shots.”

Currently, the U.S. has contracts for 600 million doses of vaccines which is enough for all the people living there.

Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel said: “We appreciate the confidence that the U.S. government has demonstrated in our COVID-19 Vaccine.” Representatives of Pfizer also spoke of the contract, saying: “We will deliver 100 million doses by the end of March, a total of 200 million doses by the end of May, and the full 300 million doses by the end of July,” according to Reuters.

America’s top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci believes that almost every American will be able to register to get vaccinated by the end of April, 2021.

Hopefully, everything will go as smoothly as planned and this pandemic that turned our world and our lives upside down will soon be over.

Trump’s COVID-19 condition was more severe than it was revealed at the time – Doctors considered putting him on a ventilator, reports say

One thing that the coronavirus taught us is that no one is immune to it. This contagious virus that spreads with incredible speed can affect everyone, and no one knows what the consequences might be. Some only have mild symptoms, and for others, it can be deadly.

Former president Donald Trump was tested positive for COVID-19 in October of 2020. At the time, he compared the virus to a flu and only spent three days at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, before he was transferred to the White House.

Many believed that what Trump had to say about the virus was careless knowing that the U.S. is one of the most affected countries by it in the world with more than 26 million cases reported and 464,000 deaths confirmed as of February 11, 2021, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

The New York Times reported how the president was treated using an experimental drug cocktail injection and the antiviral medication Remdesivir.

His physician, Dr. Sean Conley, spoke of the president’s condition but didn’t reveal much. In fact, on the day he was admitted to hospital, Dr. Conley said the president’s situation was not severe, but the next day he revealed details he previously concealed.

“Late Friday morning when I returned to the bedside, President had a high fever and his oxygen saturation was transiently dipping below 94%,” he was reported saying. “Given these two developments I was concerned for possible rapid progression of the illness. I recommended the president we try some supplemental oxygen. See how he’d respond. He was fairly adamant that he didn’t need it.”

Citing an anonymous source, allegedly a person close to Trump, CNN reports that doctors even considered putting the president on a ventilator after he was found to have lung infiltrates which occurs when “the lungs are inflamed and contain substances such as fluid or bacteria.”

At the time, First Lady Melania was also diagnosed with COVID-19.

One of Trump’s advisers laughs when asked if former president has any remorse regarding the Capitol riots

The second day of the impeachment trial of former POTUS Donald Trump didn’t start as he was hoping. People close to him told CNN and Fox that he was “beyond furious” at his legal team among which lawyer Bruce Castor and attorney David Schoen.

Allegedly, Trump was angry at Castor for praising the House impeachment managers for “a job well done” and not being able “to get at the heart of his defense team’s argument,” according to CNN.

Speaking of Trump’s role in the Capitol riots, Rep. Jamie Raskin said, “He assembled, inflamed and incited his followers to descend upon the Capitol” falsely convincing them that the elections were stolen from him. During the rampage, five people lost their lives, among which a police officer.

However, after recent writings by CNN, it looks like Trump feels no remorse for the riots and doesn’t feel guilty of inciting them. When asked whether Trump feels remorse, an unnamed source close to the former president who was discussing the impeachment case with the CNN, laughed instead of answering the question.

A chilling footages of the Capitol riots were played during the second day of the trial. In one of them, the public could hear rioters trying to reach to the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as well as Vice President Mike Pence.

One of the rioters could be heard saying, “Where are you, Nancy? We’re looking for you!,” while others say, “She’s in here,” and “Nancy? Oh, Nancy? Nancy, where are you, Nancy?”

“This attack never would have happened but for Donald Trump,” said Rep. Madeleine Dean, D-Pa. “And so they came, draped in Trump’s flag, and used our flag, the American flag, to batter and to bludgeon.”

Others also took a stand and shared their thoughts on the matter. Among them, Sen. Susan Collins, a republican from Maine who commented on the video, telling CNN: “It was reliving that day with some additional detail that just reinforces my belief that it was a terrible day for our country and that there’s no doubt that it was an attempt to disrupt the counting of the electoral votes.”

“I’ll always be grateful to law enforcement and the Capitol police for protecting us, but also proud of the fact that we came back that night and finished our constitutional duty, we did not let the rioters accomplish their goal of disrupting the vote,” she added.

Sen. Ted Cruz, believes that despite being “emotional,” the video footage of 6th of January 2021, when the riots took place, doesn’t show direct connection with Trump.

We are all yet to see how this trial will end.

Environmental activist Greta Thunberg mocks Donald Trump over famous parking lot incident

Chances are, you all know who Greta Thunberg is. This young lady from Sweden is a famous environmental activist known for her bravery to challenge leaders to take immediate action about one of the biggest threats against humanity and planet Earth, the climate change.

Greta is also known for getting into “arguments” with former president Trump, who once picked on Greta for no apparent reason and shared a link on Twitter showing her, writing the following: “She looks like a very happy young girl who is looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see.”

Greta didn’t stay silent and updated her profile picture with the caption: “A very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future.” Her followers praised her for handling the “dispute” the way she did.

In January 2021, when Trump was waiving his supporters as he was entering his plane and leaving the White House, young Greta tweeted: “He seems like a very happy old man looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!

After Trump responded, he faced criticism by many for getting into “fights” with someone as young as Greta. Among those condemning the former POTUS was actress Mia Farrow who tweeted: “Mocking any kid is disgraceful. What an awful example you set. Apparently it bothers you that she represents many millions of children throughout the world – demanding their rightful future.”

Recently, Greta, who is busy studying, fighting against the climate change, and giving interviews, shared with her fans this secret as to why she is always seen moving her hands while speaking. She said she wanted to keep her hands busy and posted a photo of her and an embroidery.

What caught her followers’ attention were the words embroidered; Four Season Total Landscaping.

Namely, on the day of the election results in Pennsylvania, Trump announced on Tweeter his press conference in front of the Four Seasons Hotel. Later, however, after the hotel distanced itself from Trump, he deleted his tweet and then posted another one saying: “Big press conference today in Philadelphia at Four Seasons Total Landscaping – 11.30am!” according to The Guardian.

Now Greta saw this as a chance to “mock” Trump once again using her embroidery skills and her Tweeter followers say things like: “Greta never disappoints,” and “Busy hands, busy mind.”

Actor Michael Douglas pays tribute to his late father with a photo and a touching message

From the moment he made his debut in The Strange Love of Martha Ivers, it was pretty much obvious to everyone that Kirk Douglas would make a long-lasting impact in the world of film. Not long after his first movie, Kirk became a well-known name and remained one of the best actors of Hollywood until the day he passed, February 5, 2020.

He died at the age of 103 and is still dearly missed by his family, especially his son Michael Douglas and his stunning daughter-in-law Catherine Zeta-Jones, who never miss an opportunity to pay legendary Kirk a tribute.

On the one year anniversary of Kirk leaving this world, Michael posted a photo of him and his dad and wrote: “Can’t believe it’s been a year since you left us,At 103, you picked a good time to check out. I love you with all my heart! #KirkDouglas.” Zeta-Jones commented “Love you Pappy🙏🏻😘.”

The Douglas family have always been very close to one another and wanted the world to know that.

Last year, Michael shared a touching video of him and Kirk over the decades. It was voiced-over and the 76-year-old star could be heard saying: “The best advice my father gave me was, ‘Whatever you do, you do it to the best of your ability. You leave that job knowing that you couldn’t have done any more, and then walk away, you’ve done the best. Don’t look back.”

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Michael once again spoke of the love for his father and how much he had done for him throughout his life, as well as how much he missed him. “There wasn’t anyone like him. There’s another generation, that was the great generation, post-World War II…and Dad was one of kind. I think he’s very happy. I know he takes particular pride — not so much in whatever I worked with and I’m doing with the Motion Picture Television Fund — but I know he loves Catherine [and] the work that she’s doing. He always used to tease me. We would call him up and he would be like, ‘Enough with you, let me talk to your wife,’” he added. “He was a flirt until the very end.”

Zeta-Jones, who always speaks with huge amount of love and deep appreciation of Kirk said: “Oh yes, he’s a great flirt. He crosses our minds every day. But for me, during this time of, ‘OK, we are all locked down, what do you do?’ It’s so easy to go into a procrastination vibe. And Kirk, he went through so much from a helicopter crash to a stroke and then just age, being alone and what does he do with this time. And what was so admirable about him was he was always involved with courage events, he wrote 11 books, he worked with his rabbi, he worked with his philanthropic endeavors and he always created something to do and he taught me that lesson. He always said to us, ‘Write a book, do something else. What are you doing?’ And he’d be working on something right now, I’m sure.”

We will never forget how great of an actor and a human being Kirk Douglas was. His loving family is keeping his legacy alive. May he rest in peace!

Watch this emotional reunion between two circus elephants that hadn’t seen each other in 22 years

Being part of the circus is a traumatizing experience for any animal. As people enjoy watching lions, bears, elephants and other poor creatures perform different acts, they don’t really think of the struggles the animals go through.

Jenny and Shirley are two elephants who played at the circus together. Over time, the two became inseparable and would spend lots of time hanging around. Of, course, whenever they were allowed to.

At the time they met, Jenny was just a baby, while Shirley was around 20 years old. Eventually, they were taken out of the circus and haven’t seen each other for more than 22 years.

Everyone thought when the reunion would take place, the two elephants wouldn’t even recognize each other. But they were wrong!

As they got close to one another and realized their friend stands opposite of them, their eyes sparkled. It was as though they never spent a day apart.

The staff at The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee were amazed by the animals’ reaction. Luckily, they got to spend six years together before Jenny passed away.

This story is just another example that animals should be let to live and bond in their natural habitats. They don’t belong neither at zoos nor circuses.

Take a look at Jenny and Shirley in the video below.
