Quinton Aaron, who portrayed Michael Oher in ‘The Blind Side’ opens up about Oher-Tuohy legal battle and defends Sandra Bullock

Actor Quinton Aaron, who portrayed NFL star Michael Oher in the Hollywood blockbuster movie The Blind Side, which is his greatest role so far, describes the rift between Oher and the Tuohy family as a “sad, unfortunate turn of events.”

The Blind Side, which grossed more than $300 million, is based on Oher’s life, which goes from rags to riches.

The film was loved by many and became a huge hit, but Oher wasn’t very pleased with it because he believed it didn’t portray the real story of how he became a star after struggling for so many years.

“The movie’s great, very inspiring,” he said. “The football part is the only part I have a problem with. Sports was all I had when I was growing up – it made me look like I just didn’t know anything.”

He believed that the film negatively affected his career.

“I’m not trying to prove anything,” he told ESPN. “People look at me, and they take things away from me because of a movie. They don’t really see the skills and the kind of player I am. That’s why I get downgraded so much, because of something off the field.

“This stuff, calling me a bust, people saying if I can play or not … that has nothing to do with football. It’s something else off the field. That’s why I don’t like that movie.”

Now, Oher’s suing the family which took him in, claiming they had raked in millions of dollars in movie royalties over the years, while he made nothing despite the movie being based on his life story.

Oher’s lawsuit states that Sean Tuohy and Leigh Anne Tuohy never actually adopted him and falsified the story in order to make it more appealing in the movie. Instead, they placed him under a conservatorship at 18 years old in what he’s calling a money grab.

Quinton Aaron says learning of the rift between the former athlete and his family is shocking. “I got a good sense from all of them,” he said of the time he met all of them, adding: “They were real cool to me.”

“I can say just from my personal experience from meeting with both parties, I have the utmost respect for all of them over the years,” the actor adds.

“We sat around after we finished and [Oher] was telling me that people were calling him my name, and I told him everywhere I went, people were calling me Big Mike,” he said – referring to Oher’s popular nickname. As for the Tuohy’s, he described them as ‘very warm’ and said they welcomed him with ‘open arms.’

“But after looking back at it through his eyes and putting myself in his shoes, I can see why he felt the way he did. His frustration had nothing to do with me because I played a part, I didn’t produce, write or direct it. We never got a chance to have that conversation, unfortunately,” Quinton said of Oher’s initial criticism.

Quinton also criticizes those bringing Sandra Bullock, who portrayed Anne Tuohy and received an Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role, into the drama to “looters” who show up to a riot just to “cause havoc” and ask from her to return the award.

“Go sit in the corner, face the wall, and think about what you just [said],” Quinton said. “One has nothing to do with the other. Sandra didn’t pull the wool over anybody’s eyes. Sandra didn’t create this, you know what I mean? She’s an actress who got paid to do a job. She did it very well and she was recognized for her talents. Why do you take that away from her? My mom used to always tell me, ‘Think before you speak,’ and now I know why.”

Bullock has not commented regarding the news of Oher’s lawsuit. At the time being, she’s still mourning the loss of her partner of many years, Bryan Randall.

Couple gathers neighbors to repair elderly woman’s home, but wait till you see the result

Anne Glancey, an elderly woman from New Jersey, received three violations from the municipality because of the state of her house which was deteriorating.

Among the rest, there was an old car on her driveway which she needed to get rid of, or at least park it somewhere else. Further, she allowed her lawn and house to become overgrown and covered in peeling, chipping paint.

Sadly, due to her age and lack of finances, there wasn’t much this woman could do to renovate her place.

Luckily, Anne’s neighbors have been people with a heart of gold, especially a couple living near by who heard of this lady’s struggles from a real estate agent who was selling their home.

In an attempt to help Anne keep up with the repairs to her home, they gathered around 20 volunteers from the neighborhood and did the job themselves, and oh boy, what a difference they made.

“Anne was, and is, extremely grateful for our dedication to her property and her soul,” neighbour Kristin Polhemus, the initiator behind the project, said. “The project has inspired her to continue improving her home, inside and out, and it established new relationships between Anne and our neighbors.”

“These violations imposed a fine of no more than $1,000 per day, per violation. We knew we needed to help, as these fines would quickly surmount for anyone in Anne’s situation,” Polhemus said. “In life, we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves. We wanted to help her out of an act of love.”

The entire process of renovation lasted six days.

All the supplies needed were purchased by the volunteers.

“One of our neighbors shored up the foundation and flooring while others performed structural repair to the side porch,” Polhemus said. “We removed, scraped, primed and painted shutters; and we scraped, primed, and painted the exterior of the home. We helped Anne donate her car and we did landscaping to bring her lawn back to its original beauty.”

In no time, all charges against Anne were dropped. This was confirmed for ABC by Polhemus’s spouse and a local police officer.

“I can say with certainty that none of us wanted any recognition for this project,” the kind neighbor added. “We do hope that everyone reading this will take a look at their own neighborhoods with a new set of eyes. What needs fixing? Who needs a friend or companion? How can you help? Your neighbors are just family members you don’t know that well yet, and the relationship starts with you. I can’t promise it will be easy, but I can promise it will be worth it.”

In an interview with ABC News, Anne spoke of the kindness she received and expressed her gratitude to everyone involved in the project of fixing her home.

“I’m very grateful for their concern and their help and I tried to be as helpful as I could be when the workers came,” she said. “I think they have a sense of generosity in reaching out to other people and that’s worth noting. It’s something that should be contagious. I hope to live in [my home] happily.”

Robert De Niro’s daughter discusses her son’s tragic death

Leandro De Niro Rodriguez’s cause of death has been revealed almost two months after his sudden passing. According to the teenager’s mother, the 19-year-old grandson of actor Robert De Niro died as a result of the concoction of multiple drugs, including fentanyl, bromazolam, alprazolam, ketamine, cocaine, and 7-aminoclonazepam.

Leandro was found unresponsive in his New York City apartment on Sunday, July 2.

The news of the tragic passing was shared by his mother Drena, De Niro’s adopted daughter.

“My beautiful sweet angel. I have loved you beyond words or description from the moment I felt you in my belly.”

The actress continued: “You have been my joy my heart and all that was ever pure and real in my life. I wish I was with you right now. I wish I was with you. I don’t know how to live without you but I’ll try to go on and spread the love and light that you so made me feel in getting to be your mama. You were so deeply loved and appreciated and I wish that love alone could have saved you.”

“I’m so sorry my baby,” Drena concluded, and tagged Leandro’s artist father, Carlos Rodriguez in the post. “Rest in Peace and Eternal Paradise my darling boy.”

Drena criticized those who provided her late son with the medications and spoke openly of the pain of losing a son as she tried to raise awareness of the dangers of using such drugs that claimed the life of her child.

De Niro released a statement regarding the loss of his grandson with a representative telling Page Six: “I’m deeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo. We’re greatly appreciative of the condolences from everyone. We ask that we please be given privacy to grieve our loss of Leo.”

We are so very sorry for Leo’s passing. May he rest in peace.

Fans have been talking about John Goodman’s illness because the actor has struggled with depression and drinking

Best known for his roles in the long-running show Rosseane and the film The Big Lebowski, John Goodman is a fan-favorite.

During the ’80s, he appeared in a number of movies, including Big River (1985), Raising Arizona (1987), and Antony and Cleopatra (1987), but it was his role of Dan Conner in Roseanne that turned him into a star practically overnight.

Back in the day, Goodman told People how he loved the role. “He’s like a lot of guys I know. In the wintertime they don’t work because construction is sporadic. I don’t want to have to stand for the American workingman, but if this guy’s gonna be one, I’d rather have him be semi-intelligent, not a dumb beast who sucks down beer all day.”

In addition to his TV and movie roles, Goodman has lent his voice to a number of characters, including shows like American Dad!, The Simpsons, Cars, The Princess and the Frog, and The Emperor’s New Groove.

Speaking of the fame he experienced, the actor said that he never really dreamed of being famous, all he ever wanted was to act. “I’m apprehensive about fame,” he told People. “I’ve known people whom it bothers a great deal, and I’m kind of a shy person. Lately people are starting to put my face with my name, instead of thinking I’m either somebody they went to high school with or did time with.”

However, there were times throughout the years when he struggled to find job, which led to severe drinking problems. Sadly, the heavy drinking resulted in depression and other mental health struggles for the actor.

When he recalls the filming of Rosseane, Goodman says he remembers drinking on set.

“At first it was exciting,” he told Today. “Then it got frightening when I lost my anonymity. I got complacent and ungrateful. And after nine years—eight years, I wanted to leave the show,” he continued. “I handled it like I did everything else, by sittin’ on a bar stool. And that made it worse.”

He was first diagnosed with depression in 2007, the same year when he first entered rehab. Luckily, he managed to stay sober ever since.

Speaking of his depression, The Big Lebowski star described it as a “chemical issue, a brain thing,” which manifests as “wide unhappiness with everything.”

As part of his journey of staying sober and leading a more healthy life, Goodman also lost a significant amount of weight.

There were rumors that he had undergone a bariatric surgery, but the actor denied those rumors and said he managed to change his physical appearance with the help of fitness guru and personal trainer Mackie Shilstone.

Goodman lost over 100 lbs, but says the process was a long one. “This didn’t happen overnight — it’s been an ongoing process,” Shilstone told New York Post. There needs to be strategic planning. This time, he really wanted to do it.”

Shilstone spoke of Goodman and said that he actor turned to the Mediterranean diet, which is “primarily plant-based, with a decreased intake of red meat, lots of fruits and vegetables, and strongly driven by olive oil.”

In addition to a more healthier diet, Goodman started exercising six days a week.

Father’s hilarious reaction to his partner giving birth goes viral

Who says that fathers have it easy while their partners are in labor? According to the viral photos by a couple who have welcomed their third child recently, dads truly are concerned, as well as totally stunned, about the process of giving birth.

In the past, fathers weren’t even allowed in the delivery room thus they were forced to wait outside and pray for the best outcome and for both the mother and the child to be fine. Nowadays, however, it is the norm for the dads to witness the entire process of the delivering of their child, and the results, like in the case of this couple, are sometimes hilarious.

Amanda Renee and her partner Brett Sillis stole millions of hearts with their photos from the delivery room, and that’s not because of the fact that they became parents for the third time but because of Brett’s hilarious facial expressions.

Many agree that his his emotions are priceless, and although it looks like he’s disgusted by the process of giving birth, his wife says she’s not offended at all because during the ordeal of welcoming a baby into the world, she didn’t even notice how her husband felt.

It was when they saw the photos afterwards that they realized how precious Brett’s expressions were.

“We didn’t even look at them until I got back into the room, and I was like ‘I have to post these,’” Amanda said.

The happy couple and their baby daughter are now home where they can spend quality time together and have fun looking at the photos of Brett’s expressions at the delivery room.

People loved the photo so much, especially men who can easily relate to Brett, that they have been shared over 6,000 times.

“Dawg, this was me,” one dad wrote.

“And this is exactly why when my husband wanted to ‘watch,’ I clamped my knees together and told him if he didn’t get up by my head, I wasn’t going to push!” one mother added.

“Lol! I feel all men make these faces. I just had our baby 6 weeks ago and my husband could only look at my face, my delivery was 15 minutes long and my doula had to tap him to look at the baby because he knew he’d pass out from all the “stuff” coming out. Congrats mama!!“ a third person wrote.

We congratulate the happy couple on the new addition to their family.

Stepmom delivers special wedding vows to four-year-old – his reaction breaks our hearts

Witnessing two people in love starting their life together and saying ‘I do’ is always a delight.

As expected, when they attended the wedding of US Marine Corps sergeant Joshua Newville and Senior Airman Emily Leehan, the guests were looking forward to having a great time, but little did they know that they would witness one of the most memorable scenes there are.

When Leehan started reading her vows, she had prepared some for her stepson Gage as well. The sweet little boy was over the moon seeing his daddy getting married, and it was obvious he not only approved of his future mom, but he was truly happy with his father’s choice.

As his little eyes starred at Leehan, she turned to Gage and started reading her vows to him.

Her speech was so touching that everyone in attendance went ‘awww.’ There were tears of joy on most of the people’s faces, but it was Gage’s sweet reaction that stole the show.

As he kept listening to his stepmother’s words, he broke down in flood of tears and wrapped his arms around her.

“I want you to be safe, and to try your hardest and to be a good person,” Leehan said. She then said, “Don’t cry baby,” because she noticed that the emotional moment was too much for that child to bear.

“The last thing thing I hope you learn is that you are a special boy,” Leehan went on to say. “You are so extremely smart, handsome, and kind to others. You have helped shape me into the woman that I am today and I may not have given you the gift of life, but life surely gave me the gift of you.”

After collecting their emotions, the couple proceeded sharing their vows.

Right after the memorable ceremony, the newlyweds were reported to have remained on active-duty immediately. They postponed their honeymoon because they both had to return to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

People are boycotting ‘Oppenheimer’ after ‘disgusting’ line offends ‘one billion people’

Days after Christopher Nolan’s three-hour global box office success Oppenheimer was released, it received a wave of backlash from the Hindu-right in India. The reason for that is one particular sex scene during which the main character, played by Cillian Murphy, reads from the Bhagavad Gita, a sacred text in Hinduism.

Bhagavad Gita was likely incorporated into the film because of real-life Oppenheimer’s fascination with the Hindu religion. He was so much into it, that he even translated the sacred text from Sanskrit into English.

Hindus from part of India are now left furious because Nolan chose to portray Oppenheimer’s love for the religion during an explicit scene.

Uday Mahurkar, journalist and the founder of Save Culture Save India (SCSI), penned an open letter to Christopher Nolan himself.

“It has come to our notice that the movie Oppenheimer contains a scene which makes a scathing attack on Hinduism,” he wrote. “As per social media reports, a scene in the movie shows a woman making a man read Bhagwad Geeta aloud while getting over him and doing sexual intercourse. She is holding Bhagwad Geeta in one hand, and the other hand seems to be adjusting the position of their reproductive organs.”

Mahurkar continued: “The Bhagwad Geeta is one of the most revered scriptures of Hinduism. Geeta has been the inspiration for countless sanyasis, brahmcharis and legends who live a life of self-control and perform selfless noble deeds.”

He then added that neither he nor his people understand why the sacred text was read during the scene in which the character of Oppenheimer makes love to his lover Jean Tatlock, played by Florence Pugh.

“We urge, on behalf of billion Hindus and timeless tradition of lives being transformed by revered Geeta, to do all that is needed to uphold dignity of their revered book and remove this scene from your film across world,” Mahurkar added.

However, not everyone agreed with Mahurkar. Many criticized him for speaking on the behalf of all Hindus and for drawing a comparison to Islam.

The film follows the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the creator of the first atomic bomb.

Back in the day, or twenty years after the first ever nuclear explosion on Earth, known as the Trinity test bomb, Oppenheimer said in an interview, “We know the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita; Vishnu is trying to persuade the prince that he should do his duty, and to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form and says, ‘Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.’ I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.”

Christopher, if you have as time not to do and listen to senseless rants, do pls not.

Murphy himself described the scene is question as “powerful.”

“Those scenes were written deliberately,” Murphy said. “[Christopher Nolan, the director] knew that those scenes would get the movie the rating that it got.

“And I think when you see it, it’s so f****** powerful. And they’re not gratuitous. They’re perfect.”

The film has already made $80 million at the US box office and $174 million globally.

4 officers walk out of WNBA game over players’ offensive shirts

One truth about the people of today is that they get offended easily, which makes it difficult for the rest to be open and honest.

Four off-duty officers from Minneapolis walked out of an WNBA game of the Lynx because of what was written on the pre-game shirts of some of the players.

In fact, the players wanted to honor victims of police shootings, thus the names of two black men who were shot by police were written on the them. The back of the shirts read: “Black Lives Matter.”

As per reports, before leaving the game as a sign of protest, the officers asked from the players to take the shirts off.

The players explained the intention behind their act and said the shirts emphasized their desire to honor the deceased and advocate for change in racial profiling and violence.

Minneapolis Police Chief, Janee’ Harteau, issued a statement in which she said that she understood the officers’ frustration, but condemned their action of walking out of the game in protest.

Further, she said that no matter if they are on duty or not, police officers must adhere to their oath of office.

Police Federation President Lt. Bob Kroll said, “It’s just a shirt,” but at the same time he added that the Lynx players’ protest was “anti-police” and that the players were buying into a “false narrative” about police misconduct, which is why the officers, who were at the time working security, left.

Not everyone, however, agreed with Kroll. “Bob Kroll’s remarks about the Lynx are jackass remarks,” Betsy Hodges, the Minneapolis Mayor at the time, said. “Let me be clear, labor leadership inherently does not speak on behalf of management. Bob Kroll sure as hell doesn’t speak for me about the Lynx or about anything else.”

The Lynx players’ protest and the officers’ counter-protest came at a time of racial unrest.

Man kept hearing strange noises under driveway, it led to an astounding discovery

A man named Simon Marks, 37, stumbled upon something incredibly strange. Namely, he has been living in the same house for quite some time, but it wasn’t until recently that he discovered he wasn’t aware of what was hidden in the place he bought some years ago.

One day, as he tried to park his car, he stumbled upon what he believed was a flowerbed. The wheels of his car got stuck and he heard strange cracking noises coming from the driveway.

“Well, this day couldn’t get any worse,” he thought to himself.

When he kneeled down to further inspect the issue, Marks noticed that the pavers of the driveway had cracked and the driver started to give in. The sound of the cracking pavers led to an astounding discovery.

Once he removed all the dirt, he noticed a piece of metal underneath. Unaware of what could be hiding under the driveway, Marks gripped the metal piece and tried to pull it out, but to no avail. He then went around in order to learn more of the mysterious object.

Not knowing what to do next, he called his father for help and both of them managed to cart away lots of densely-packed mud which eventually led to an opening. There was an old rusty ladder there, and the two men climbed down eager to learn where it would lead them.

“My dad saw it and instantly said it’s an air raid shelter,” Marks said. “We googled it and found there are quite a few in this area.”

It appeared that the shelter they discovered in Marks’ garden was built during the WW II.

“The previous owner must have known it was there and when he built the house and put a garden in… he must have filled it in,” Marks explained.

These shelters were to protect people from bombing during the war. It is believed they were invented by a man named Sir John Anderson.

“One of the walls has been bricked up. I’m 90 percent sure we won’t find out any more rooms but we don’t know. They might have bricked up one of the walls when the house was built to make way for the foundations,” Marks said. “If that’s the case we’ll just have to leave it,” he added.

Once he posted photos of his discovery, his story went viral.

Marks and his father plan on restoring the shelter because they believe it is an important historical monument. According to them, no matter if that period of history is behind, it shouldn’t be forgotten because it lets us see a glimpse of those times.

McDonald’s is flipping its arches upside down to make a powerful statement

To pay tribute to every woman out there and to remind them that they are all special in their unique way, one of the greatest fast-food chain restaurants in the world, McDonald’s, flipped their famous arches upside down.

This happened back in 2018, when the company decided to flip Mickey’s arches on March 8th, International Womens Day, the “global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.“

Some of the people who noticed the change, and couldn’t believe their eyes thinking they found themselves into a parallel world, believed it had to do with the then company’s ongoing feud with Wendy’s. But they were so wrong. Instead, the logo had been flipped in “celebration of women everywhere,” a representative had said.

McDonald’s decided to flip the sign at their Lynwood, CA store, but did the same with the logos on their social media. At the same time, employees donned the “W“-esque logo on their shirts and hats and the restaurants served special packaging featuring the logo at 100 stores across the nation.

“For the first time in our brand history, we flipped our iconic arches for International Women’s Day in honor of the extraordinary accomplishments of women everywhere and especially in our restaurants.” McDonald’s Chief Diversity Officer Wendy Lewis said.

Lauren Altmin, company’s spokesperson, said that the logo change was in celebration of women everywhere. “We have a long history of supporting women in the workplace, giving them the opportunity to grow and succeed.”

She added: “In the U.S. we take pride in our diversity and we are proud to share that today, six out of 10 restaurant managers are women. The logo will be changed on all of the company’s social media channels and 100 restaurants will have special “packaging, crew shirts and hats and bag stuffers.”

McDonald’s isn’t the first company to pay tribute to women and raise awareness of the importance of gender equality.

In the past, Johnnie Walker acknowledged women by releasing a ‘Jane Walker’ bottle and donating $1 per bottle towards charities whose goal is enhancing the position of women.

“Important conversations about gender continue to be at the forefront of culture. And we strongly believe there is no better time than now to introduce our Jane Walker icon and contribute to pioneering organizations that share our mission,” said Stephanie Jacoby, vice president of Johnnie Walker. “We are proud to toast the many achievements of women and everyone on the journey towards progress in gender equality.”

Brawny was among the companies who supported the initiative by replacing the Brawny Man with women and donating $100,000 to Girls, Inc.

Dying wife asks husband’s permission to fulfill her final wish—to sleep with her ex one last time

Reddit users were shocked by a problem shared by a user on the platform who goes under the name throwawayforeife.

He shared his post explaining how his wife was given a dull diagnosis and only months to live after she was diagnosed with terminal illness. Having promised to stay by her side through sickness and health, he decided to do all in his power to ease her life and grant all of her wishes, not knowing that her final wish was to sleep with her ex one last time.

This request was truly a shocking one. He was completely lost when he heard his wife’s words. It didn’t sound real that she would ever wish such a thing.

When he asked her why she wanted to do that, she said that her ex was her “most physically compatible” and “satisfying lover.” What’s more, she said she felt emotionally satisfied with him as well.

As expected, the Reddit user was left utterly heartbroken. He had no idea his wife of ten years was feeling that way.

However, knowing that she was dying, he wasn’t sure whether to agree and let her be with her ex for one final time.

Another person said he should file for divorce and then let her go to her ex. He added that he shouldn’t accept her back when she’s fragile and unable to take care of herself any longer.

“I would probably not even be able to stay with that person if they had told me that was what they wanted to do,” another person wrote.

Dr. Terry Dubrow praises wife, Heather Dubrow, for saving his life at famous LA restaurant

While having dinner at a restaurant with his wife and one of their children earlier this month, Dr. Terry Dubrow from the show Botched started experiencing difficulties uttering some words. Worried for him, his wife Heather, urged him to call 911, but he refused to do so, saying he was just fine.

“I had half a drink, I was eating, and I asked my son a question and I started to slur my words,” Terry later explained.

Heather, however, insisted that Terry gets checked so they eventually called the ambulance. The medics said that his vitals were fine, but Heather wasn’t at ease and insisted they go to the hospital for a thorough check-up.

He didn’t want to make a big deal out of it and decided to call an Uber and head home. Once home, Heather called some of her husband’s doctor friends who convinced him to go to the hospital just in case. Eventually, Terry agreed and went to Hoag Hospital where he got evaluated in the ER and received an MRI which showed he had a transient ischemic attack (TIA) – a stroke precursor.

“Had Heather Dubrow – alright, I’m going to start to cry, to be honest with you – had she just let me go home, ‘I’m a doctor, I know what I’m doing, don’t argue with me, I’m going to bed,’ I would probably not be alive today,” he said of his stubbornness. “Heather Dubrow saved my live – no questions about it.”

Further, he sent a message to his fans urging them not to be stubborn and listen to their partners when they tell them they feel something isn’t right. “So if your partner is insistent upon something about you medically, go get it checked up because your perception of what’s going on may be very different than what they’re seeing,” he concluded.

Heather also spoke to a reporter regarding the incident and said she didn’t regret getting into an argument with her husband as long as he listened to her. She then confirmed that her husband was now feeling fine and described the outcome of the situation as the ‘best case scenario.’

“He’s okay and what’s really important to take away from what happened to him is that early intervention will save your life,” she told TMZ. “By the way, I heard that you guys (TMZ) have video of us fighting outside of The Ivy. You’re d**n right we were fighting, I was trying to get my husband into an ambulance.”

Jimmy Carter’s grandson gives update on ailing former president and first lady: ‘He’s pretty sick’

Loved by millions for his humble personality, Jimmy Carter, who served as the 39th President of the United States of America never took any advantage of post-presidential popularity.

Besides the position he once held, Carter, as well as his wife of many years, Rosalynn, lead a very normal and modest life, and it has always been like that.

They both have been part of the Habitat for Humanity for many years and helped renovate around 4,300 houses in 14 different countries. In February, his foundation, The Carter Center, released a statement that left many devastated. After a few hospital visits, former President Carter has been admitted to hospice.

“After a series of short hospital stays, former US President Jimmy Carter today decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention. He has the full support of his family and his medical team.”

Over the years, he has dealt with several serious health issues, including brain cancer. In 2019, he underwent brain surgery to remove mounting pressure.

Now his grandson, Hugo Wentzel, who was recently eliminated from the ABC reality show Claim to Fame, provided a health update on his grandparents. “He always wants to be doing something with his mind, so he’s trying to keep himself busy, but he is really sick and getting older,” Wentzel told EW, speaking of his grandpa.

“He’s an amazing grandpa. Honestly, I love him so much. I call him Papa,” Wentzel shared with his fellow contestants. “He led America and my family very well. I stand for everything he stands for. He believes in equality for everyone, regardless of race, class, gender, anything. He’s just an amazing person. I aspire to be like him one day.”

Wentzel then mentioned former president Carter’s health. “I also want to say that he’s recently been put into hospice because he has been very sick. It was really sad. I love you so much, Papa. You were amazing and I will do everything I can to keep your legacy alive. Lead with love. That’s all I got to say.”

Sadly, it has been “harder and harder” to see his grandpa receiving hospice care during the last months.

“My mom spends a lot of her time with him. She spends almost half her time taking care of him at this point just because of things like COVID regulations. So it’s really family oriented. I haven’t been seeing him as much recently, but he knows that I love him and we’re supporting him through this time,” Wentzel added.

“He’s pretty sick,” the grandson further explained. “He still does use his brain. He listens to audiobooks. He’s a genius. He’s super smart. I love him. He always wants to be doing something with his mind, so he’s trying to keep himself busy, but he is really sick and getting older.”

Wentzel then spoke of his loving grandma and said that she has dementia and that she often forget things, but she then remembers. “I just want to say that she’s an amazing woman. She’s put in so much work in her life. She’s done things for mental health. I want everyone to know how incredibly important and beautiful she is as a person and a grandma.”

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jimmy Carter and his family as they remain by his side during this particularly difficult time.

Inside Beyoncé & Jay-Z’s new $200 million concrete house that took 15 years to build

One of the most powerful couple in the music industry, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, have moved places, at least for the weekend getaways. Besides that, reports are they are not selling their multi million Bel-Air estate where they currently live.

Their new home, which they purchased for $200 million, is second on the list on the most expensive homes ever sold in the United States, just behind Ken Griffin’s $238 million New York City investment which he made in 2019.

The residence the couple added on the lists of places they own is a Tadao Ando-designed architectural wonder in Malibu, the same architect that is working on Kanye West’s beach-side paradise.

The previous owner, William Bell Jr., who is a powerful figure in the international art world, worked on the 30,000 square foot Malibu mansion for 15 years. The deal, on behalf of both parties, was handled by mega-celebrity broker Kurt Rappaport. The initial price of the Malibu mansion was $295 million.

Although the family will be using this massive concrete mansion for weekend stays only, if reports are to be believed, Jay-Z wants to make it their permanent home.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z were photographed on a date-night at a pricey restaurant following the purchase.

The new home was bought around the time the Lemonade singer started her Renaissance World Tour’s European leg.

As always, she looked stunning, wearing a black off-the-shoulder minidress with built-in gloves and a long ribbon. The dress included a variety of round rhinestones that were thermoformed onto black velvet fabric.

Katharine McPhee leaves tour as new information about ‘horrible family tragedy’ revealed

Katharine McPhee, who was to perform with her husband, David Foster, for his David Foster & Friends Asia Tour 2023 will miss the final two shows.

With an Instagram post, she informed her fans of her decision and the reason behind it. “It’s with heavy heart I announce I have to miss our final 2 shows of our Asia run. David and I have had a horrible tragedy in our family and at least one of us needs to get back home to our family. Please know how sorry I am and how much I wish to return one day and perform for you all,” she posted.

As reported by TMZ, it is the family’s nanny that passed away. McPhee and Foster share a young son together and they considered his nanny a part of their family. The magazine added that the circumstances surrounding the tragic passing of the woman have not yet been revealed.

The David Foster & Friends Asia Tour 2023 started on August 5, and the group, consisting of Foster, McPhee, Peabo Bryson, Michael Bolton, Loren Allred, and Raisa already performed at the Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok, Thailand before they moved on to the Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on August 7. On August 8, the group took the stage at The Star Performing Arts Centre in Singapore, Singapore.

McPhee missed the shows scheduled for 11th and 12th August that were to take place at the Sentul International Convention Centre in Jakarta, Indonesia.

McPhee and her husband will perform again together for a show scheduled for November 1 at the Andiamo Celebrity Showroom in Warren, Michigan, which means would wait some two months to watch them taking the stage alongside one another.

2024 will again be filled with pre-scheduled shows from February 13 to March 3. They are st to perform in Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Washington D.C., Alabama, and Georgia.

Dad Gets Mad at Waitress for “Disciplining” His Child – But the Internet Has No Sympathy for Him

All of us who have experienced parenthood know how tough it is to make a toddler sit still while at a restaurant or another place where a lot of people gather. However, that can never be an excuse for letting the kid misbehave and disturb the rest of the guests or customers.

One dad shared with an advice columnist a story about his naughty kid and the waitress who tried to ‘discipline’ him. Obviously, this dad was convinced that letting his son ‘explore’ the restaurant wasn’t a big deal and condemned the poor waitress’ behavior towards the misbehaving boy.

He was hoping to get some sympathy, but was given ‘an award’ for poor parenting instead.

This is how he started his letter:

“My wife and I and our 4-year-old son were out to dinner last week. It was a medium-nice restaurant, not fast food, but not super fancy either.”

I don’t know for sure, but I got the impression that this dad’s description of the place means that if the restaurant isn’t really fancy or expensive, his kid can run freely and do what he pleases.

“My son is a normal, active little boy, and it’s hard for him to sit through a whole dinner, so we let him explore the restaurant a little. I noticed our waitress giving him the hairy eyeball, so we asked him to stop running.”

Having in mind that the boy was running around the tables where people were having their dinner, telling him to stop doing so was the least they could do.

On top of that, kids have to learn proper manners while at public places, otherwise, parents will find themselves in a position of other people telling their children off.

“He was pretty good about it after that, but he did get underfoot when she was carrying a tray, and she spoke to him pretty sharply to go back to our table and sit down.”

Looking things from this dad’s perspective, we can’t really tell how rude the waitress was, but we definitely believe she wasn’t happy with having a four year old getting under her feet while she was trying to do her job and serve people.

But who knows, maybe she really was overly rude and exaggerating.

“I felt it was completely uncalled for, and she should have come and spoken to us personally instead of disciplining someone else’s child,” the dad continued.

Getting really mad with the waitress for telling the kid to sit still so that everyone could have their meal in peace and quiet, the dad admitted how he even took things further and spoke to the place’s manager.

“I tipped 5 percent and spoke briefly to her manager, who gave noncommittal replies. My wife agrees with me, but when we posted about it on Facebook, we got a lot of judgy responses.”

After we read the whole story, we got to hear the advice columnist’s answer. Well, she said what we all think about the whole thing.

“Yeah, this is your fault. It’s hugely your fault. Of course it’s hard for a 4-year-old to sit still, which is why people usually stick to fast-dining establishments while working on restaurant manners. It’s why one parent usually responds to a fidgety kid who wants to “explore” by taking him outside the restaurant, where he can get his wiggles out while not taking laps around servers precariously carrying trays of (often extremely hot) food and drink.”

Nicole Cliff, the columnist then added:

“A kid ‘exploring’ a restaurant is not a thing. When you did intervene, it wasn’t to get him back in his seat. It was just to instruct him to ‘stop running.’ You weren’t parenting, so a server did it for you. She was right. You were wrong.”

It’s not that we are perfect parents ourselves, but most of us do their best to control our kids’ behavior, even if that requires a great deal of extra effort.

“Your son is not ready to eat at a ‘medium-nice’ restaurant again until he is capable of behaving a little better. You can practice at home. You can practice at McDonald’s. You can try a real restaurant again with the understanding that one of you may need to take him out when he starts getting the urge to run an obstacle course.”

Cliff really hated the part about the tip and involving the manager into the situation so she said:

“I doubt that you will do this, but I encourage you to return the restaurant, apologize to the manager for complaining about your server, and leave her a proper tip.”

Princess Diana’s former butler claims Harry married Meghan Markle ‘because she’s like Diana’

Whether you are a fan of the Sussexes or not, one thing is certain, they make a beautiful couple.

Their love story started as a blind date, and today, they are a proud parents of two beautiful children and live their lives to the fullest.

According to the Netflix series, the two were introduced to each other by a mutual friend after Harry spotted her in a video shared by one of his friends and couldn’t help but ask who she was.

The two made plans to meet while Meghan visited London for the Wimbledon tennis tournament. As agreed, Meghan was waiting for Harry at the Soho House in London but he was 30 minutes late.

“I couldn’t understand why he would be late,” Meghan said in the series. “But he kept texting. He was like, ‘I’m in traffic. I’m so sorry.’”

“I was panicking, I was freaking out,” Harry added. “I was, like, sweatin’.”

Meghan explained that because she didn’t know Harry, she wondered if he was usually late.

“I was like, ‘Oh, is this what he does?’ Got it. Like this, I’m not doing. I’m not gonna sit…..”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Harry interfered.

“Like you’re one of those guys who have so much of an ego that any girl would sit waiting for a half hour for you,” Meghan continued. “I was just not interested in that.”

Once Harry walked into the restaurant, though, Meghan quickly realized him being late wasn’t part of any tactic or plan.

“I was a hot, sweaty, red ball of mess,” Harry recalled.

“You were just so sweet,” Meghan added. “You were genuinely so embarrassed and late.”

Following their first date, Harry thought to himself: “This woman is amazing. She is everything that I’ve been looking for.”

Harry proposed to Meghan with a three-stone engagement ring which he designed himself in order to be able to honor his late mother. The central stone is from Botswana, a place Prince Harry keeps close to his heart, and the diamonds on the sides belong to Princess Diana and are part of her personal collection.

The couple’s wedding took place on May 19, 2018. The service was held at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Despite all the drama that preceded and followed Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down from their royal duties, they managed to remain strong, and according to Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, there is a reason why the Sussexes get along so well, and that’s because Meghan Markle is very similar to Harry’s mother.

Speaking with Closer, Burrell said, “Harry went for and married Meghan because she’s like Diana. [They are] both women who would always stand up for what they believe in and wouldn’t be pushovers.”

He added that being similar wouldn’t necessarily mean that the two would be good friends had Diana still been alive.

“I think, possibly, they would have clashed,” he said.

“I imagine it would have been two strong, independent women with different views on things—it would have been a battle between Meghan’s way and Diana’s way.”

One of the similarities would be that both Meghan and Diana experienced hardship when it came to the British Media and the pressure they felt.

“I think the main difference between them is that Meghan has a game plan, whereas Diana was young and naïve,” Paul Burrell said, as per Yahoo.

“Diana did the book with Andrew Morton and courted the press over the years because she didn’t have a voice. And her strong-mindedness meant she cared and she felt the people of the country had a right to know what had gone on behind closed doors.”

The tragic reason Meghan never wanted Prince Archie to attend UK school revealed

The issue of privacy, when the British Royals are in question, is a tricky one. No matter how much they desire to keep certain aspects of their life private, the media will always find a way to expose every secret, no matter how huge or small.

Prince Harry, who is known to feel a dose of resentment against the British media as he believes they are partially to be blamed for his mother’s tragic passing, seems to be enjoying outfoxing the press.

When his son Archie was born, Harry wasn’t much interested in revealing details surrounding the birth of the baby. However, he was forced into sharing with the people that Archie arrived into the world due to the breach of the “unwritten contract between the royals and the public.”

In her book The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown, author Katie Nicholl described Harry as “almost morbidly obsessed” with keeping Archie’s birth as secretive as possible.

“Behind the scenes, matters were so fraught that more than one official — as I know from personal experience — was reduced to tears of frustration and despair,” Rebecca English, royal editor of the Daily Mail, added.

Unlike his father, his uncle, and his cousins, who were all born at St Mary’s Hospital, Archie was born at the Portland Hospital because Meghan’s doctor worked there, so it made sense. The real reason for this, however, according to many, was Harry’s attempt to outsmart the press as the place made nearly impossible for photos to be taken due to safety considerations around the entrance.

“He and Meghan were thrilled to be safely delivered of their son in London’s private Portland hospital even before the palace press office had confirmed the duchess was in labor,” Nicholl wrote.

Speaking of the day Archie was born, Meghan recalled in the Netflix documentary, “There was already the pressure of the picture on the steps. … But I had been really worried going into that labor because I’m older, I didn’t know if I’d have to have a c-section, and I had a very longstanding relationship with my doctor, and that’s who I trusted with my pregnancy.”

Two days following the birth of their first child, the Sussexes agreed to participate in a brief photo session, where one reporter got to ask questions.

With Harry and Meghan moving to the United States, Archie’s life would be quite different than that of George, Charlotte, and Louis. For one, Archie is reported to be speaking with an American accent.

Obviously, he will attend an American school, which is something Meghan must be happy about.

In a piece for the New York magazine, The Cut, journalist Allison P. Davies recalled a conversation she had with Meghan during which she stated that she didn’t want her son Archie to attend school in the UK due to safety concerns.

“Earlier in our conversation about her goals for the life she’s creating here, she’d remarked upon how, if Archie were in school in the UK, she’d never be able to do school pickup and drop-off without it being a royal photo call with a press pen of 40 people snapping pictures,” Davies wrote, as quoted by Yahoo.

Meghan told Allison: “Sorry, I have a problem with that. That doesn’t make me obsessed with privacy. That makes me a strong and good parent protecting my child.”

In fact, safety concerns was also one of the reasons why Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties and chose a life away from the British media.

Harry believed that the paparazzi culture is “this sort of rabid feeding frenzy. Kids don’t get a choice; they don’t get a say in it.”

“We spent the first three and a half months living at [friend] Tyler Perry’s house,” Harry continued. “The helicopters, the drones, the paparazzi cutting the fence, like, it was madness. And people out there, their response was, ‘What do you expect if you live in LA?’

“First of all, we didn’t mean to live in LA. This is a staging area to try and find a house. Secondly, how sad that if you live in LA and you’re a well-known figure, you just have to expect it.”

The life story and the career of news anchor David Muir

Dreams do come true. You don’t believe that? Just take a look at the life story of one of the most famous TV names in America, news anchor David Muir.

Believe it or not, this man that millions are waiting for to give them the news has always wanted to be a journalist, even when he was just a young boy. At 10 years old, Muir had a cardboard-box-made studio in the middle of the family living room.

The New York native found inspiration in the work of Peter Jennings.

“I didn’t care. I thought Peter Jennings was the James Bond of evening news,” Muir told People. Muir wanted to be a journalist so badly that he never missed the evening news and even dressed as a reporter for Halloween when the rest of his friends were characters from their favorite cartoons, superheroes, and cowboys.

“When I look back at it as an adult, when I was a kid and I wanted to see the world, that for me meant covering the severe thunderstorms in the next county or going to the New York State Fair with the local reporter and photographer who were willing to let me jump in the backseat of the car,” Muir told USA Today.

“Now, I am literally seeing the world. I’m grateful for that, and I could not have put words to it when I was a kid, but it’s all the same hunger that drives me today.”

Muir’s career in journalism started when he was just 12.

Namely, he spent that summer sending letters to local news outlets asking to be invited to see how everything works inside the studio. Then, one day, he received a letter back from local journalist and anchor Ron Curtis who invited Muir to be an intern at WTVH Channel 5. The letter said: “Competition in television news is keen. There’s always room for the right person. It could be you,” and these are words that Muir will never forget.

“I remember all of their names, and they’re all my mentors. I’m grateful to this day, and it’s the driving principle of what I do every day. I really, strongly believe that when we get a chance at our dreams, we have to turn around and recognize that we are keeping the seat warm for the next person who has that dream,” Muir said.

Muir attended college and majored in Journalism.

During his studies, he spent a semester in Spain where he learned the language fluently. In fact, as he said, “This was so pivotal. This was living with a family, attending school in Spanish,” after he interviewed Pope Francis in Spanish in 2015.

After graduation, Muir worked for WTVH Channel 5 for five years before he moved to Boston and took a job as a journalist at WCVB. His reports from the Middle East, the Gaza Strip and Tel Aviv following the death of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin earned him numerous awards and the so much awaited spot at ABC.

In 2011, Muir was made the sole anchor of ABC’s weekend show World News with David Muir, and in 2014 he replaced Diane Sawyer.

“You have seen David Muir at this desk, in this chair so many times. You know his command and commitment to bringing you the news,” Sawyer said on her final day at the job. “I cannot wait to see you in high gear.”

Muir has always spoken of just how much his job means to him because it represents his childhood dream come true, and not many can say they work what they always wished for.

“I have always felt if I could not be the reporter I was before I got this job, that people who got to know me through the reporting I’ve done would wonder, ‘What happened to this guy?’” Muir told LA Times. “I hope that, over time, people will see that thirst and hunger for curiosity is truly what drives me. It fuels me. I hope they see it in this newscast every night.”

The number of awards Muir received throughout his career is huge. Among the rest, he won an Emmy for outstanding live coverage and the Edward R. Murrow award for his reporting from Mogadishu on the famine in Somalia.

In 2014, handsome Muir got another kind of award when People Magazine placed him on the list of “Sexiest Man Alive.”

From what is known about this handsome journalist is that he’s still single and has a net worth of $20 million.

However, although he has kept his life as private as possible, there have been rumors about his possible romantic partners. The journalist was once rumored to be the boyfriend of Gio Bentize, a correspondent for ABC News. Bentize, however, tied the knot with boyfriend Tommy DiDario in 2015 and the rumors faded away.

There were also rumors that arose from the friendship between Muir and actress Kelly Ripa. However, the speculation of a romantic involvement was dispelled when Kelly married actor Mark Consuelos in 1996.

Muir’s sexual orientation and his love life remain a mystery.

“When they first handed her to me, I thought it was a bruise. It was then quickly apparent to my husband and I that it was not a bruise. And like the name, I thought it looked a lot like a mole,” mom Nicole Hall told Good Morning America.

”I was lucky to have a pretty average pregnancy! I had morning sickness from about weeks 8-14, but as soon as that let up I felt great until the tiredness kicked in the last month,” she writes on her blog, adding that no one could possibly knew that the little one would have such a birthmark on her face.

”Some of the excitement of labor had passed, and I would say worry was the main emotion I felt – I recognized that it resembled a mole, but I had never seen anything like it, and I was worried it might be harmful to her. None of the nurses had said anything about it at this point, but I wasn’t sure what to ask so I just held her tight and loved on her.”

According to a report by the National Organization for Rare Diseases by Dr. Harper Price of Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Dr. Heather Etchevers of Marseille Medical Genetics, Winry’s condition causes light brown to black patches which can appear in many different ways and on different parts of the body.

Having this birthmark means there’s a potential risk of developing a melanoma, a type of skin cancer. Although that risk is relatively low, Nicole always makes sure to put a hat on Winry’s head whenever they are out in the sun. She also puts sunscreen on her baby’s face and takes every precaution.

“Her health and happiness are our top priority. We have to monitor her with sunscreen. I’m careful with hats and that sort of thing. I know our regular dermatology appointment is probably going to be our best friend growing up,” Nicole says.

Winry’s parents are aware there would be stares as their girl grows up, and probably later in life too, so they do all in their power to help raise awareness about CMN.

“For a lot of people, this is the first time seeing a birthmark like hers and that’s part of why I enjoy sharing,” Nicole says. “This is a good conversation for parents with their children to see kids have differences, or for those parents who do have a kid that looks like Winry or has any kind of a birthmark to see their child represented.”

Winry is a happy and a healthy girl, and her mom and dad hope that once she becomes aware of her birthmark she would accept it as part of her and would cherish her difference.

“She just radiates joy. She’s almost always laughing or shrieking. She is just the happiest baby I have ever seen,” shared the mom. “She’s a big talker already. We haven’t got a whole lot of words out, but she tells you like it is and she’s already getting a little bit of sassiness, so I think we’re gonna have a lot on our hands.”

Through her TikTok videos which feature now 13-month-old Winry, Nicole is getting to a number of people and spreading awareness. They have already been contacted by other parents whose children have CMN, among which a family from Brazil whose son has almost identical birthmark as that of Winry.

At least they know they are not alone.

Family shares miraculous update on 10-year-old girl in coma after boat crash – ‘she’s awake’

This is the miraculous story of a 10-year-old girl named Rielynn Martin who was involved in a boat crash and ended up in a coma, but somehow, managed to survive.

The scary occurrence took place on on Memorial Day, May 25, when two boats, including the one in which Rielynn and her family were, collided. The collision forced the girl to flow off the boat and hit the propeller of the other boat.

“We went out to the lake for Memorial (Day) Weekend [and] we go to the lake a lot. My kids love outdoors,” Rielynn’s father, Chad Martin, explained.

Following the accident, the girl was transferred to the hospital. “It crushed her skull, it is embedded in her brain. So, she had actual damaged pieces in her brain. They got that situated and put a plate in there, bolted it [and] fixed the bad part of the skull,” Chad said.

“I want prayers, prayers are everything. Prayer is what got my daughter to where she’s at now. Medical bills are gonna be tough, I think out the roof. I got another daughter to support, it’s gonna be tough,” the devastated dad added.

Rielynn underwent an emergency surgery but was placed on a ventilator because she was unable to breathe on her own and was effective in a coma.

According to the doctors, her chances of waking up were dull, but this girl proved to be a hero and fought for herself as hard as she could, and now a miracle regarding her health condition is on the way, her parents say.

On her Facebook page titled “Rally for Rielynn,” her mom and dad shared an update which made people happy. According to it, Rielynn started breathing on her own and is now off life support.

“She’s awake!! On command! Answering questions and following directions. She recognized all of us. We turned off her vent so she’s also breathing on her own. I took off her sock and told her to wiggle her toes and she did… daddy asked if she wanted her sock back on and she shook her head yes!! That girl and her dogs.”

Although this is happy news, Rielynn’s family is aware that there is a long was of recovery ahead of them.

In order to help them with the medical expenses, a GoFundMe page has been set up.

We truly hope for the best outcome and pray for a speedy recovery of this beautiful girl.

Sandra Bullock’s secret vow exchange to Bryan Randall revealed: a timeline of their private love story

The news of the passing of actress Sandra Bullock’s partner, Bryan Randall, shattered many hearts.

Randall died following a battle with ALS which he kept secret from the public. Those who knew Randall but were unaware of his illness were left in complete shock.

The news was confirmed by Randall’s family.

“With deep sadness, we announce that Bryan Randall peacefully departed on August 5th, concluding a valiant 3-year battle against ALS.

“Bryan made the deliberate choice to keep his fight with ALS private, and those of us who cared for him diligently respected his wish.”

The statement continued: “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the unwavering medical professionals who guided us through the complexities of this ailment, and to the exceptional nurses who became an integral part of our lives, often putting their own families aside to stand by ours. During this period, we kindly ask for privacy as we mourn and attempt to come to grips with the painful reality of bidding farewell to Bryan.”

Bullock and Randall met when he was hired as a photographer for her son’s birthday in January 2015. They started dating a few months later and shortly after, when they were both already convinced they were meant for one another, they had their first Red Carpet debut together.

Their first public appearance together was at the wedding of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux.

Later the couple was photographed having a wonderful time together at the Craig’s Restaurant in West Hollywood.

The two weren’t married, but has now been revealed that the two exchanged vows in the Bahamas in a private, not legally binding ceremony, as per the Daily Mail.

Bullock had her hair braided for the occasion and wore a kaftan. Source shared with ET Online that the ceremony was held “for the children, to kind of seal the deal and show them this was a forever thing.”

People close to the couple revealed that Bullock’s adopted children called Randall ‘daddy.’

Speaking of his relationship with Louis and Laila, Bullock revealed in a 2018 interview, “He’s super kind. For the kids, he’s sort of No. 1. and I’m No. 2. But I get it because he’s more fun and has better treats.”

Although the Ocean 8 star is known as someone who rarely shares insights of her private life, she opened up about her partner in a Red Table Talk appearance during which she revealed that Randall was the “love of [her] life.”

The actress said, “I am someone who went through the divorce process.” She added, “I found the love of my life. We share two beautiful children, three children — his older daughter. Best thing ever. So, I don’t want to say do it like I do it but I don’t need a paper to be a devoted partner, a devoted mother. I don’t need to be told to be ever-present in the hardest of times. I don’t need to be told to weather a storm with a good man.”

The news of Bryan Randall’s passing is simply heartbreaking.

Betty White’s assistant posts icon’s final message to fans, days before she passed away

Betty White was an icon in her own right. She gave the world a million reasons to smile and kept her positive outlook on life until the very end. She often said that laughter was what kept her going and advised her fans to laugh as much as they can.

With her iconic roles in shows such as The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Golden Girls, she impacted the world of film forever. Known as a pioneer of early television and with a career spanning seven decades, she will always be remembered as one of the greatest actresses that have ever existed.

“Nobody knew going in that The Mary Tyler Moore Show would be an all-time classic,” she said in her 1997 Television Academy interview. “In the fourth season, I got a call one week, would I do that week’s Mary Tyler Moore Show, from casting. They wanted a happy homemaker who was a sickening, icky Betty White type.”

For her role of Sue Ann Nivens, White received two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Continuing Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

“When they announced my name that night, and Ed Asner presented it to me, I was a mess,” White recalled.

“I was so excited, so happy. And so grateful. I started out as an actress in the business, but then I did game shows and talk shows. I became a ‘television personality.’ So everybody was so surprised. ‘Why Betty can act, isn’t that amazing?’ It really did turn my career completely around.”

She was married three times, with her last husband, Allen Ludden, being the biggest love of her life. She missed him dearly after his passing in 1981, and according to her long time friend and agent Jeff Witjas, White was never afraid of leaving this world because that meant she would reunite with Ludden again.

One thing White regretted was that she didn’t accept Ludden’s offer to marry him right away. At the time, she lived in California and he resided in New York, and for some reason, she had a hard time making a decision to leave her home and move to The Big Apple.

“I spent a whole year, wasted a whole year that Allen and I could have had together, saying, ‘No, I wouldn’t marry him. No, I won’t, No, I won’t leave California. No, I won’t move to New York,’” she recalled in an interview with Oprah. “I wasted a whole year we could have had together.”

White lived her life to the fullest. She was looking forward to her milestone birthday, but sadly, she died just two weeks before turning 100. Shortly before her passing, she was forced to do something she didn’t like. As it turned out, she loved residing in her ocean-side house in Carmel, California, just outside Monterey, which she and her late husband Allen Ludden built in 1978. However, she spent the last years of her life in her Los Angeles home where she had at-home care – and her Carmel house was too inaccessible.

“She never wanted to leave her home in Carmel but was forced to for at-home care,” a source told The Post. “Los Angeles was more accessible.”

“If she had it her way, Betty would’ve lived and died in that home [in Carmel]. It’s the home she shared with her husband. It’s where she felt more comfortable.”

White died of natural causes in her sleep, her agent confirmed. “The arrangements are being handled privately, and that was Betty’s wish,” Witjas told People. “As in life, she never wanted people to make a fuss over her.”

On what was supposed to be White’s 100th birthday, many of her colleagues posted tributes, honoring her. Among them was White’s assistant of many years, Kiersten. Through Betty White’s fan page, she posted a heartfelt tribute along with the last photo of her.

“Hello Everyone! It’s Kiersten. Betty’s Assistant. On this special day, I wanted to share this photo of Betty. It was taken on 12/20/21,” Kirsten wrote.

“I believe it’s one of the last photos of her. She was radiant and beautiful and as happy as ever. Thanks to all of you who are doing kind things today and every day to make the world a better place.”

The photo reveals that White was full of life until the end. She truly is a legend the world will never forget. Rest in peace, Betty White, you are dearly missed.

Betty was to celebrate her 100th birthday on January 17. The momentous milestone was to be celebrated with a once-in-a-lifetime movie event named Betty White: 100 Years Young – A Birthday Celebration.

The film was supposed to include details of Betty’s life and her career of many years, as well as new interviews and behind-the-scenes material.

“Who doesn’t love a party?!? This one is gonna be GREAT!” White said in a statement.

Mere days prior to her passing, Betty recorded a clip which was released following her passing. “I just want to thank you all for your love and support over the years. Thank you so much, and stick around,” White could be heard saying in the clip recorded on December 20.

Her team, including Kiersten, asked from fans to donate to animal shelters and rescues, two causes close to the late actress’ heart.

It was part of the Betty White Challenge, which went viral after her passing.

“She could never have imagined such an outpouring of love and would have been so grateful to everyone,” they wrote.

“She was using the occasion of her 100th birthday to celebrate YOU — her fans, she knew how lucky she was.

“She felt the love, and she never took it for granted. I think it’s appropriate to post today as a thank [you] from Betty and the animals.”

Betty White was one of a kind. She is truly missed.

Princess Charlotte’s painful ‘Granny Diana’ Mother’s Day words about Prince William

The life of the British royals have always been an intriguing one. There have been times throughout the years when all eyes were on them, such as when the affair between then-prince Charles and Camilla have been revealed, the tragic death of Princess Diana, and Megxit, to name a few.

The royal children are not exception when it comes to the public’s interest in one of the most influential families in the world.

Take princess Charlotte for example. She is the second child of the Prince and Princess of Wales and their only daughter. Her older brother, Prince George, is second in line to the throne, but she, although being the granddaughter of the current King will likely not be a working royal but she would need to work for a living, according to royal experts. This is due to Charles’ wish to slim down the monarchy.

“From what I hear, the Prince and Princess of Wales want Charlotte, aged seven, to grow up with the expectation that she will get a job and not be a full-time royal,” royal expert Richard Eden told the Mirror.

“This path for the young Princess would be in keeping with her grandfather, King Charles III’s, vision for a slimmed-down monarchy.”

Charlotte is truly a special young lady whose personality shines through more and more. Many agree that she resembles her late grandmother, Princess Diana, and it seems like this resemblance is not limited to looks only. On the contrary, it looks like Charlotte also shares her grandma’s caring and loving nature.

On the day of her grandfather’s coronation, Charlotte wore a crown for a very first time. Why, you may wonder. Well, that’s because of the royal rule which states that royals can’t wear a crown until they’re married – this applied to both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. Of course, there have been exceptions in the past. Princess Anne, for once, wore tiaras every now and then before marrying Mark Phillips.

“Expect Charlotte in a dainty coronet [small crown] – perhaps even the one the late Queen wore to her father’s coronation aged 10 – and the two brothers in frock coats and breeches,” historian Tessa Dunlop told the Mirror.

“Kate loves dressing up her children, so objections are unlikely. And the money shot everyone will want is a snap of the three siblings in their finery alongside the King and the Queen on Buckingham Palace balcony after the service.”

Just to show how special and how caring Charlotte is, Prince William and Princess Kate shared some of their children’s cards made for Mother’s Day from the previous years. The children, however, not only wrote cards for their mom but also for their late grandmother, Princess Diana.

“Dear Granny Diana, I am thinking of you on mother’s day,” Charlotte wrote in her card. “I love you very much. Papa is missing you. Lots of love, Charlotte”.

Meanwhile, George wrote: “Dear granny Diana, Happy happy Mother’s Day. I love you very much and think of you always, sending lots of love from George.”

Louis, who was just two at the time drew some animals which he stuck on the cards.

In the past, William opened up about his mother and revealed how he speaks genuinely of her in front of his children. “We’ve got more photos up around the house now of her, and we talk about her a bit and stuff. It’s hard because obviously, [Kate] didn’t know her, so she cannot really provide that level of detail,” he said in a 2017 BBC documentary.

“So, I do regularly, putting George or Charlotte to bed, talk about her and just try and remind them that there are two grandmothers, there were two grandmothers in their lives, and so it’s important that they know who she was and that she existed,” William added.

We are so glad the young royals get to hear of how special and how loved their late grandmother was.
