Little girl sings to her Pit Bull – The video is melting hearts

How would a very young kid learn all about responsibility and taking care of someone if they don’t get to grow around a dog? And yes, despite what some people might say, getting a dog is the best thing one can do for their children.

Scarley is a young lady whose best friend is the Pit Bull Lebowski. The two are inseparable and spend each minute of their days together. Scarley loves singing to her furry pal and just recently, one of her performances was caught on tape and uploaded on Instagram. Needless to say, thousands saw the little girl belting the lyrics of the song You’ve Got a Friend in Me to the pooch and they all love it.

In fact, this isn’t the first time for this duo to catch the attention of the number of followers they have on the social media. Scarley’s mom shares a lot of cute photos of her daughter and Lebowski and they not only make people’s days, but also help fight the stereotypes surrounding this dog’s breed.

Take a look at Scarley and Lebowski in the video below. Cute beyond words, don’t you agree?

Andrea Bocelli and his daughter Virginia sing the sweetest duet

Andrea Bocelli’s captivating voice made him one of the most famous singers worldwide, and his fame only grows bigger with each passing day. With over 15 albums under his belt, Bocelli never ceases to amaze his fans with something new and refreshing, such as his transition from opera to pop music.

His duet with the Canadian singer Celine Dion from 1998, “The Prayer,” which was recorded for the animated film Quest for Camelot brought them the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song. It was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Speaking of Bocelli, Dion once said, “If God would have a singing voice, he must sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli.”

For the Bocelli family, it looks like musical talent is rooted in their genes. His son Mateo follows in his father’s footsteps and is pursuing career in music. His duet with his dad, “Fall On Me,” is touching and a huge hit that touched many hearts.

Amos, Bocelli’s eldest was part of the album as well. He played piano on the acoustic versions of “Sono Qui” (I Am Here) and “Ali de Libertà” (Wings of Freedom).

In December of 2019, Bocelli showed the world that his youngest child, 9-year-old daughter Virginia, inherited her father’s talent, too.

They sang “Fall on Me” together and people loved it. The video has more than a million views and many positive comments. “I love to hear him sing but it brings me more joy just to watch the interaction between the two of them. Such unconditional love,” one person wrote.

Bocelli is very dedicated to his family and his children and supports them in their careers. Who knows, maybe Virginia will also take part in one of her dad’s albums in the future.

Bocelli’s wife, Veronica Berti, is part of the video as well. She and Virginia practice some of the vocals together before the girl’s voice blends with that of her dad in a perfect harmony.

One of the most powerful voices on Earth and one in the making surely is the perfect combination. And what a duet would this be if there isn’t some cute dancing?

Take a look at the video below and enjoy!

Ventriloquists Darci Lynne and Terry Fator deliver enchanting version of “The Prayer”

I have always admired ventriloquists. They possess unique talents and give life to dolls and sometimes other objects, and I think that’s awesome.

Some of the most famous names among ventriloquists are that of Darci Lynne Farmer and Terry Fator. What these two entertainers have in common is that they are both winners of different seasons of one of the most famous talent shows there is, America’s Got Talent.

It is amazing that the show gives credit to people who posses skills of different fields and in that way promotes dancers, comedians, as well as ventriloquists.

Now, if you are familiar with Darci and Terry, you probably know Petunia and Winston. This time, the four of them gathered for an incredible rendition of the famous song The Prayer which was initially recorded by two of the greatest names in the music industry, Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. The song was created for the 1998 animated musical Quest for Camelot and became iconic, thus got recorded by a number of singers and musicians over the years.

However, we have to admit that listening to it performed by Darci and Terry through their dolls Petunia and Winston is another kind of magical experience.

Listen to them sing below.

Woman starts crying because she can’t afford to pay for her groceries – teen cashier steps in and says “I got you”

This 19-year-old cashier’s act is just another proof that you don’t need to be rich in order to help the less fortunate.

When John Lopez Jr. first started working at Walmart, he set a goal to make enough money to pay for his college tuition. He promised to himself that he wouldn’t use that funds for anything else, up until the moment he realized there was someone out there who needed it more than he did.

Namely, one day while on the job, a woman standing in front of his counter started crying as he was ringing her items up. She was short of money and couldn’t afford to pay the bill.

John Lopez Jr. knew he had to step in and do just the right thing.

I just felt in my heart that the Lord told me I had to help her. OK, I got you… I got you.

This young man selflessly took $110 of his pocket and paid for the groceries.

And as no good deed, no matter how big or small, goes unnoticed, what John did caught the attention of another customer. Laci Smith witnessed the scene and shared it on her Facebook page.

Now, John’s story has gone viral and a GoFundMe page has been set up to help raise money for John’s college tuition.

This year I’d like to keep the Christmas spirit alive by giving back to this young man. The comments that I’ve seen about this gentleman is extraordinary. He touches a lot of lives on a daily basis. I’d like to give back to him for constantly giving himself to our community. He is also trying to save money to put himself into college. Let’s come together as a community and pay John’s tuition. He will do big things!

It looks like many people found John’s act of kindness inspiring, so they chose to do a good deed by donating to his Just Giving page. Ultimately, around $31,000 were raised. John could now pay for his school tuition, all because of his kind heart.

We hope others will decide to follow John’s example and help someone in need during this period of the year which is all about giving.

26 years ago, Patrick Swayze and wife Lisa took the dance stage and stole the hearts of millions

Patrick Swayze and his wife Lisa Niemi first met when the two were very young. In fact, Lisa was just 18 at the time and was attending dance lessons in the school where Patrick’s mother was the principal. They didn’t start dating right away, instead it took them years to meet again and become a couple.

Patrick had always been in love with dancing and along with his acting talent, he achieved a huge success in the film industry. Of course, one of his most memorable roles was that in Dirty Dancing.

YouTube

Some years after that movie which stole the hearts of many and remained one of the best in the history of film, Patrick showed his out-of-this-world dancing abilities again, but this time, he took the stage together with his loving wife at the World Music Awards in 1994. Their mesmerizing performance was caught on tape and is still one we go back to again and again.

Patrick and Lisa danced to the famous song from 1982, “All The Man That I Need,” which was initially titled “All The Man I Need,” by Linda Clifford. The music piece was later covered by Whitney Houston in 1991 and reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The duo’s dance performance not only stole the hearts of millions, but that of Houston as well. At the end of the video, she could be seen applauding.

Take a look at the beautiful dance routine in the video below.

Woman told she’s “too ugly” for selfies fires back at her haters by taking more

Ever since we were little, our parents have taught us to never judge a book by it’s cover and always treat everyone nicely no matter how they look. But as it turns out, many ‘skipped’ this lesson and turned into bitter adults who give themselves the right to treat others with disrespect.

A woman named Melissa Blake who is a journalist and a writer, knows all too well what it feels like to be called names. Although what she has to say on the subject of disability, relationships, and pop culture has inspired a lot of people, there are still those who leave nasty comments regarding her looks.

Recently, this 38-year-old woman who was born with Freeman-Sheldon syndrome was labeled ‘blob fish’ and ‘a potato with a face.

But, that didn’t make Melissa doubt her strengths. Instead, she decided to speak for herself and fired back at her trolls and haters.

Because of the syndrome, her face has a distinctive look. Her mouth is smaller and she has decreased nose cartilage. She even had to undergo around 25 surgeries during her lifetime and is still using a wheelchair to move around.

Looking at the comments, Melissa decided to write back and what she had to say spread like a wildfire. People say she’s brave and that she’s someone we should all look up to if we are in the position of being bullied.

“People wonder why I’ve struggled so much with self-acceptance when it comes to how I look and our society’s notion of what “beautiful” is. It’s because of comments like these — comments that dismiss me and deem me unworthy,” Melissa explained.

“[…] This is just one more example of the type of ableism that people with disabilities face every day and it’s something I’m constantly trying to change.”

After she was told she was ‘too ugly’ for selfies, she certainly didn’t stop taking them. In fact, she treated her haters with three new photos of her.

“During the last round of trollgate, people said that I should be banned from posting photos of myself because I’m too ugly. So I’d just like to commemorate the occasion with these 3 selfies…”

Since her post has gone viral, Melissa’s tweet got more than 272,000 likes on Twitter. As a result, more people heard of her and her work. That brought her new followers and now more people will get to read her wise words.

Melissa is a true inspiration. She teaches us how we should always be proud of the way we look no matter what other people say.

Uplifting tweets that prove women solidarity is a real thing

What makes humanity going and evolving is the way we care for one another. Being there for those in need and keeping each others’ backs should be a trait shared by each and every one of us. Yet, there is this belief that men stand for men more often than it happens between women.

Female friendships can be very strong, but the thing is that many say there is more jealousy and envy present between these types of relations compared to male-to-male friendships.

Luckily, that’s not always the case, and the uplifting tweets below prove exactly that. Women do stand for one another when needed and it should always be like that. Sister power!

10-year-old boy is supper thrilled for his neighbors’ new dog

Dogs are the best, and everyone who has ever owned one can tell you that. Well, the coronavirus restrictions and the lock-down made many people realize that a dog is exactly what they need in order to help themselves cope with the pandemic and staying home most of the time. For that reason, the demand for sweet canines from shelters grew and many four-legged creatures found their forever homes during one of the toughest years for the humanity.

Among those who adopted a furry pal is a couple from Chicago, Illinois. They welcomed a cute Golden Retriever whom they named Arthur.

When the pup was getting to his new home, he was spotted by one of the neighbors, a boy named Troy who fell in love with Arthur right away. And just a couple of days later, the family received a hand-written note full of love which led to a new friendship millions learned of.

The letter said: “Hello neighbors. My name is Troy. I’m in 4th grade and I’m just wondering if maybe after this virus you need a dog sitter and if so I can take your dog on walks and more.”

Arthur’s humans were delighted. They were more than happy to let Troy play with their dog once things get better. In the meantime, they shared the letter online and even organized an online play-date for the newly-made friends.

Everyone who has seen the letter could be kept updated from the Instagram account @arthurthefloof  created on the behalf of Arthur who already has over 40,000 followers.

“Just a quick pupdate – me and the smol neighbor had a really great (socially distant) playdate today. Because he’s so smol we didn’t take any pics just for privacy purposes but he told me all about his dog fren and even showed me some dance moves!! I have a feeling we’re gonna be best buds!” one of the pup’s Instagram-post reads.

We are sure that Arthur and Troy will become best of friends and will have a lovely time together in the days and years to come.
