There was a triple reason for celebration at the Fredericksburg, Virginia, fire station after three fellow firefighters all became fathers within 24 hours.
When they shared with each other that their wives were expecting babies, the three joked that it would be awesome if their sons were born on the same day, but they never imagined that it could turn into reality.
The babies were all born at the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
“All of our doctors use Spotsylvania Regional and the nursing staff have been extremely pleasant, passionate and caring,” Kyle Dean, one of the new dads said.
“The staff truly make you feel like they care. From everyone that enters the room, from the cleaning staff, nurses, NICU, et cetera.”
Michael Irive, one of the dads said that when his wife went into labor and he took her to the hospital, he told the nurses: “Just a heads up — two of my guys are coming as well.” The dads then ended up with the nickname from the nursing staff as the fab three!
The proud fathers posed with their bundles of joy and said they hope the little ones would end up being friends. They also said that once their sons are a bit older, they would take them to Fort Belvoir Fire and Emergency Services at Fort Belvoir Army Base, where they work, so that the boys can hang out together.
Kyle, who has “handful” of kids gave his colleagues advice and told them: “Definitely take advantage of it and don’t blink because it goes by fast.”
Michael, on the other hand, added: “The biggest thing is to be present as much as you can, (especially) with our schedule – because like Kyle Frederick says it goes by in a flash. They grow up so quickly so be there as much as you can and enjoy the moments.”
Congratulations on the additions to your families.
Traveling over the holidays can be both expensive and nerve-racking, as well as notoriously busy. The queues are long, no matter if you try to check-in your bags, get through the security, or buy something at the stores. Plus, if there is a flight delay, staying at the airport can be boring and tiring. In order to avoid these issues, it might be wise to take a flight a day or two prior to the holiday and avoid all the crowd.
Unfortunately, that’s not always possible, especially if you are serving in the military and you get an approval to fly home at the very last minute. Keaton Tilson is a young soldier who’s been part of the military for eight months now. That means it’s been that long since he hasn’t seen his family, and now when he was about to travel home for the Memorial Day weekend, things didn’t turn as he expected. He spent some time at the airport, and it seemed he wasn’t about to be taking off soon. But then, a stranger approached and brought a glimmer of hope.

Keaton was stationed at Ford Hood in Texas, and got a green light to head to St. Luis for a 4-day weekend on the Thursday evening before Memorial Day.
He spent the night at the Dallas-Forth International Airport with a standby ticket in his hands, hoping to catch the 5 am flight. As he looked at the empty plane he felt happy to be heading home, but people started taking the empty seats, and sadly, none was earmarked with his name.
Two days and lots of standby flights later, this Army mechanic found himself no closer to getting home. And as he was trying to come up with a solution, a man named Josh Rainey, who happened to overhear Keaton’s conversation with the gate agent, offered his ticket for the flight leaving in 10 minutes time. But since departure time was close, the agent told them the transfer of tickets wasn’t an option.

Keaton said thank you and walked away, but Josh knew there has to be something he could do for the soldier. And that’s when he decide to purchase Keaton a $341 ticket. That was the most amazing thing anyone has ever done for Keaton, who couldn’t hide his happiness to be going home to see his family. As for Josh, he believes that’s money well spent.
Josh told Fox 2 News:
“He walked away and came back and asked if he could hug me, and I think we both had to fight back the tears after that. It was pennies, pennies on the dollar compared to what I got back from that hug.”
Keaton and Josh discovered they had a mutual friend after the quick chat they had, and that’s how Keaton’s mother tracked Josh down once her son came home and shared the story with her and other family members. The mother felt it was an amazing act of kindness and she had to share it with the world.

Keaton was glad to learn that people still have deep respect for those serving the country.
“I’m very appreciative because if it wasn’t for him, I probably wouldn’t be here right now. Honestly I feel like I would still be at the airport because it’s Memorial Day weekend.”
Josh, on the other hand, was more than happy to assist someone in need. He is a very special man with a kind heart who is always there to provide a helping hand. But helping a soldier was special, because his father served in the armed forces for 30 years.
Take a look at the video and share it with friends.
Expecting a child must be the best feeling ever. The anticipation of meeting the bundle of joy grows bigger and bigger with each passing day, just like the mother’s belly.
What many parents-to-be don’t know is that the baby could hear and react to their parents’ voices as well as to music while still in the womb. Classical music, for once, is believed to enhance the baby’s intelligence and provides comfort.
One dad-to-be from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, named Flavio Dantas, never skipped a day without talking to his wife’s belly. He knew his unborn daughter could hear his singing. According to the baby’s mom, Tarsila Rosa, her belly would move each time Flavio sang.
When the couple’s little princess Antonella finally arrived on August 11, which happens to be Father’s Day in Brazil, she was confused, just like any newborn out there. But once she heard a familiar voice singing to her, that of her daddy, she put the most beautiful smile on her tiny face. You can see her smiling on the photo above.
Looking at his daughter smiling at him, Flavio couldn’t hide the tears of joy that kept rolling down his face.
“And it is that moment that people forget all the pain and focus on the most sincere smile of all. My princess was born on Father’s Day, ” the proud daddy wrote in a Facebook post.
It’s not surprising that this special moment the family shared vent viral. The photo of baby Antonella shared joy around the world. We wish her happy childhood!
Carrie and Craig Kosinski have always wanted to be parents. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen as easily as they thought it would be. After trying to get pregnant for some time, Carrie was told she couldn’t conceive naturally because she had severe endometriosis. This, however, didn’t crush their dreams because adoption was always an option.
One day, Carrie and Craig got a call from a friend who asked them if it was possible for them to take in baby twins whose mother couldn’t take care of because she had twins already. Initially, the plan was for the little ones to stay with the Kosinski for a short period of time but days turned into weeks and the couple eventually adopted the siblings shortly after they turned three months old.

Around a year later, the biological mother of Carrie and Craig’s adopted twins called them and told them she decided to give her other twins for adoption. She believed the Kosinski would be the perfect parents.
Both Carrie and Craig gave this idea a lot of thought. They kept wondering if it would be possible for them to take care of four children, but as they wanted the siblings to be raised together, they accepted to welcome two-year-old twins Cece and J.J.
“It was a difficult decision. We were trying to get pregnant ourselves. But they were siblings so that was definitely was part of our consideration — we wanted to keep the siblings together,” Carrie told The Journal Times.

In September 2015, nearly two years after adopting the first pair of twins, Carrie started feeling odd and visited a doctor thinking something wasn’t right with her. To her surprise, doctors told her she was pregnant. The shock was even bigger when she learned she was carrying two babies.
They knew this pregnancy was a gift from God. Giving birth to twins would mean they would have six children under their roof, and the thought of it was an exciting one.
”We were very shocked. We were like ‘oh my God we are going to have three sets of twins. What are we going to do with ourselves?’” Carrie recalled in an interview with Inside Edition.

The biggest surprise of all came when Carrie gave birth to her babies on a very special date, February 28. Believe it or not, all of her adopted children were born on the same date. Imagine six children celebrating their birthdays together. “God obviously has a sense of humor,” the happy mother said.

The entire community was excited for this family and in order to help them with the growing expenses and high costs they organized fundraisers through pages like GoFundMe and AdoptTogether.
”I have to be very organized and keep to a schedule, or things get out of hand,” Carrie says.
”We believe that because God adopted us into His family that we were meant to adopt these children into our family,” this mom says. ”It’s such a huge blessing to us. We love all our children the same. We wouldn’t want our lives to be any different.”
Eventually, Carrie and Craig welcomed another child into their lives and are now parents of seven. What a blessing!
Princes William and Harry met for the first time since their grandfather’s funeral to unveil the statue of their late mother, Princess Diana, which is placed on the grounds of Kensington Palace. The two brothers could be seen standing shoulder to shoulder as they honored the life of the woman who meant the world to them.

In their joint statement, the brothers said: “Today, on what would have been our Mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character – qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better.
“Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.
“Thank you to Ian Rank-Broadley, Pip Morrison and their teams for their outstanding work, to the friends and donors who helped make this happen, and to all those around the world who keep our mother’s memory alive.”
The image of William and Harry talking to each other and honoring their mother together is what many anticipated seeing after the number of scandals involving the royal family. The two haven’t been on good terms since the infamous Oprah interview and the number of accusations brought up by the Sussexes.
However, today’s event sparks rays of hope that the brothers could be once again as close as they have been before. In doing so, they will fulfill the promise they gave Princess Diana shortly before her death.

Royal historian Robert Lacey, writes in his book Battle of Brothers that the late princess asked from her boys to promise her to be best friends forever. Quoting psychic Simone Simmons, who used to consult Diana, Lacey writes: “You must promise me that you will always be each other’s best friends,” Diana told her sons. “And never let anyone come between you.”
“Both boys promised they would keep to that,” Simmons recalled. “They high-fived each other and gave their mother a big cuddle.
“‘Anybody would have melted at the sight,’ she was reported saying. “Then they went out to play soccer.”

After her split with Prince Charles, Diana was worried that the Royal Family could take the boys from her.
Biographer Howard Hodgson, author of the 2007 book Charles: The Man Who Will Be King, wrote: “She was well aware that the Queen had the constitutional right and authority under common law to take control of both boys’ care and education.
“As such she could become the boys’ guardian or even appoint one: this would probably be their father and that might lead to Diana’s exclusion if she finally burned all her bridges with the Royal Family.”

The divorce meant a fresh start for her, according to royal author Richard Key. Unfortunately, she passed away in August 1997 in a car crash in Paris and left the world mourning.
May Princess of the People rest in peace. As of her boys, we hope they will be able to put any differences aside and keep the promise they gave their mother.
That dogs are man’s best friends is something most of us know all too well. Having a four-legged companion by your side makes all the difference.
Baxter is a senior therapy dog that makes the days of the patients at the San Diego Hospice a bit brighter. Although he’s 19 and a half years old himself, Baxter still has the energy to help these vulnerable people feel special even for a day.

Although he has difficulties walking on his own, Baxter’s owner, Melissa Joseph, is more than willing to carry him in her arms whenever they pay the dying patients a visit. Once at the hospice, Melissa puts Baxter in a wagon and they both go from one room to another providing comfort to the residents.
When patients see him, they are all pleased to spend some time with the amazing dog that spreads positivity around the place. To their request, Melissa lifts Baxter and places him down beside them on the bed.

Many of the patients are aware they are living the last days of their lives, but when Baxter is around and gives them licks and hugs, they forget of the reality and enjoy his presence.
The hospice chaplain Lisa McCollough witnesses just how much Baxter affects the patients’ mood and how he makes them forget about their pain even for a while.

The moments spent with Baxter is the last thing many of the patients experience. When he gets near each of them it felt like he is saying, “It’s okay, everything’s going to be fine.”
Sadly, after this video was filmed, Baxter passed away in the comfort of his home. He brought many smiles to many people and he’ll always be remembered as one special dog.
Becoming an actor requires a lot of hard work, dedication, and luck, but being an actor whose career spans almost their entire life requires raw talent and ability to transform the physique depending on what certain role requires. Speaking of successful actors whose transformations made them almost unrecognizable, the name of Nicole Kidman is one of the first that comes to mind.
Throughout the years, Kidman, who has a number of prestigious awards under her belt, including an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards, has landed some of the most iconic roles.

She had her breakthrough after starring in the thriller movie Dead Calm, but it was Days of Thunder in which she starred alongside Tom Cruise which helped her gain worldwide recognition.
This movie didn’t only play a crucial role in her road to stardom, but in her personal life too. It was during the filming of it that she and Tom Cruise fell for one another and got married. The two divorced after 11 years and have two adopted children together.
The Hours
When it comes to her physical appearance, it’s safe to say that Kidman is one of the most attractive actresses in Hollywood. However, nowadays, she doesn’t quite resemble the woman she was at the start of her career. Because most of her roles required that, she got rid of her naturally red curls and was forced to straighten her hair often, something she seems to regret.
”I wish I had my curls back,” she told Today back in the day. “I tortured them to death. I always say, ‘Don’t ruin the ringlets!’”
For the role of Virginia Woolf in the film The Hours, which brought her an Academy Award, Kidman gave the audience a hard time realizing it was in fact her who played the main protagonist. It was mainly because of her prosthetic nose that she looked like a totally different person.
That nose not only made a stronger impact when it came to the character she played, but it also helped her cope with the paparazzi and hide away from them as at the time her divorce was the hot topic.
”I did enjoy being anonymous,” Kidman told SFG. ”It was fun to be able to go out of my trailer and not have anyone know me.”
The Hours
During the Oscars, when Denzel Washington announced the winner for the category of Best Actress, he said, “…and the winner, by a nose, is Nicole Kidman.”
The makeup artists who designed the prosthetic nose, however, were left empty-handed when it came to receiving an award for the job well-done.

In the film Birth, Kidman played the role of a woman who believed her ex-husband was reborn as a 10-year-old boy she met. Kidman had a pixie cut and she looked pretty different from what she usually looks, but everyone agreed that the hairstyle suited her perfectly.
In 2018, Kidman took part in the movie Destroyer, in which she played a police detective who went undercover to infiltrate a gang. Her makeup was once again outstanding, although many believed that the choppy wig she wore didn’t fit her properly.
“It was quite a bit of actual makeup, painting and making her skin look a little weathered like most people in their 50s that haven’t taken care of themselves,” makeup designer Bill Corso told Variety.

She looked heavily-aged and had a prosthetic nose once again. This time, it was supposed to look like it was broken.
”I’m ashamed to admit it, but I have to be truly honest: I couldn’t get past the hair. Nicole Kidman looks as if she’s wearing a leftover wig from the ’80s production of A Chorus Line,” Katherine Monk wrote at The Ex-Press.
”Stiff, lifeless and cosmetically teased, it sits like a frizzy helmet, almost destroying her authentic performance in Karyn Kusama’s Destroyer by signaling something fake.”
PR
For the sake of the film How to Talk to Girls at Parties, Kidman changed her looks drastically again. She wore a black-and-white wig and heavy makeup, leaving her fans startled.
“Kidman can be seen doing her best Edward Scissorhands impression with a choppy gray-and-black wig,” Melissa Minton wrote at W Magazine in 2018. “Her bangs and the front of her hair are cut bluntly, with the back spiked up in a demented version of Kate Gosling meets Cruella de Vil.”

However, one of her transformations the audience found most drastic and surprising of all was the one in The Goldfinch. Kidman played the role of Mrs. Barbour, a socialite who adopts one of her son’s friends who was left without parents. Her makeup made her look quite older and almost unrecognizable which speaks of her immense talent to adapt to any role.
The photos from the set were shared all over the Internet.

Her portrayals are truly unique, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that she’s one of the best actresses there are.
“To love and to cherish till death do us part” is the vow the loving couple Breuer lived by their whole life. But, little did they know that death wasn’t more powerful than the love and affection these two had for one another.
Raymond and Velva were married for 77 years. They couldn’t imagine their life without each other and everyone who knew them can tell that they did everything together, they were even buried together, in one casket. Yes, that’s how in love this couple was.
Source: FOX 5 NY
FOX 5 NY brings us the story of this lovely couple. The TV reported that the husband was the first to die. He left this world with his wife by his side. And just 30 hours after, Velma accompanied her husband to eternity.
The most interesting thing was that Raymond told medical staff that he and his wife could be placed in the same coffin when they say the final goodbye to this world. But no one could imagine this joke would turn into reality. Their son Bobby Breuer told Columbia Tribune, “Dad told one of the nurses before he passed, that if they went close together, that they should just be buried together, in the same casket. Jokingly, I think. But other people heard it and we asked the funeral director. Mother was a very small woman, and Dad wasn’t that big.”Source: Columbia Tribune
This loving couple spent together more than those 77 years in marriage. They were high school sweethearts and their love story is one of those that testifies that sometimes we are destined to spend our life with that one person.

Even in their old age, both Raymond and Velva were in perfect mental health. Their daughter recalls how the two were fond of reading books and as she says, “I attribute their sharp minds to reading.”
In the year of 2016, Velva moved into Lenoir Woods Rehab Center, but her husband never left her side and slept in a cot in his wife’s room. That’s how devoted they were towards each other.
When they passed away, Raymond was 97, and his wife was 96 years old.

Their love resulted in numerous descendants. They had 18 grandchildren and lots of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Bobby Brewer said, “They were very blessed their entire lives. They had health issues but they overcame them. They were blessed and we were blessed because they were so fortunate.”
The state Rep. Cheri Reisch of Hallsville reported, “They would always hold hands and sit in the front-row pews of the church. They never left each other’s side. It was true love.”
So, why would it be any different now when they passed away. They rested the same way they lived, holding hands and never letting each other’s side.
