Matthew McConaughey isn’t just an awesome actor with a brilliant Hollywood career, but he’s also a loving husband and a father of three, Levi, 13, daughter Vida, and Livingston, 10.
His love story with wife Camila Alves resembles that of a fairy-tale, and if you believed he executes roles of a romantic guy perfectly, be sure that he’s as romantic in real life. The family leaves a quiet life out of the public eye and neither Matthew nor his wife Camila Alves share plenty of photos on the social media and that is why their rare posts gather the attention of many.
Recently, Camila shared a photo of her husband cutting their son’s hair, and now, Matthew posted a photo of their oldest son, Levi, which made fans worried.
Namely, Levi, who is a passionate surfer, got involved in an accident recently and Matthew was quick to post about it. The photo shows Levi’s back which is covered in bandages because of the bruises and scratches he suffered. The caption read ‘Surf souvenirs’ and made many comment and send their well-wishes.
“We call them nature’s tattoos, brother!” one person commented. Others said how the photo reminded them of the time they were young and restless like Levi is now.
One thing is certain, Matthew McConaughey has a lovely family.

Parts of the Disney+ docuseries The Sum Of It All which follows singer Ed Sheeran through his work on his fifth album, Subtract, and shows an insight into his private life hve been released.
As he shared the trailer on his Instagram, Sheeran reflected on the journey behind the project and admitted that the final result is quite different than what he initially had in mind. According to him, the docuseries was intended to portray his rise to fame, but somehow, it ended up following him on a personal journey.
The four-part series will also show the story of Sheeran’s recent personal battles, his wife’s tumor diagnosis and the passing of his mentor and close friend Jamal Edwards.
Edwards, who was the founder of SBTV and was awarded an MBE for his contribution to the music industry, died on 20 February 2022, aged 31. It was Edwards who has helped Sheeran with his career so the series shows the singer breaking down in tears at the back of the car because of his dear friend’s sudden passing.
Further, Sheeran faced another heartbreak when his wife Seaborn was diagnosed with a tumour while she was pregnant with their second child. They were overcome with “fear, depression and anxiety” because the future mum couldn’t be treated until she had given birth.
“At the start of 2022, a series of events changed my life, my mental health, and ultimately the way I viewed music and art. Writing songs is my therapy. It helps me make sense of my feelings,” the Shape of You singer said while announcing his forthcoming album earlier this month.
Eyes Closed is Sheeran’s recent song.
“This song is about losing someone, feeling like every time you go out and you expect to just bump into them, and every thing just reminds you of them and things you did together.
“You sort of have to take yourself out of reality sometimes to numb the pain of loss, but certain things just bring you right back into it.
“Blue was Jamal’s colour, but now is all I feel. And I guess music helps heal, so I’m dancing with my eyes closed to try get through it x.”
The Sum of It All is divided into four parts: “Love,” “Loss,” “Balance” and “Life.”

It is every parent’s dream to raise their children right and help them grow into respected individuals who would contribute for the society and Ciarán Shannon of Belfast, Northern Ireland, is not any different.
He is a proud father of his daughter Niamh. When she graduated from university, he wanted everyone to know how happy he was with her accomplishments so he did that by posting three photos of Niamh and himself which he took at three different periods of their lives. Little did he know, however, that his post would go viral almost overnight and gather the attention of millions.
Source: Facebook/All About Belfast
“I’ve just been watching the numbers go up and up,” he told BBC of the likes and comments he received. “It’s like watching the electric meter when the tumble dryer is on.”
It was obvious that something resonated with the public.
“I’m flabbergasted by the reaction my pictures have got,” he added. “The good thing is that now nearly a million people know how proud I am of my daughter.”
Source: Facebook/All About Belfast
The first photo shows him and his daughter holding hands on her first day to school in September, 1999. The second photo shows the father and the daughter at the exactly same place, their yard, but some years later, or on her last day of high school. They are again holding hands. The last photo, which was also taken at the same place as the first two and showed them holding hands was on the day Niamh graduated from university in 2018.
In no time, the post gained 88.6K retweets and 948.9K likes and counting.
Today, Niamh works as a mathematics and science teacher and her dad is still very proud of everything she has achieved in life.
The bond between fathers and daughters truly is somewhat special.

Only those people who have ever opened their hearts and homes to dogs know what unconditional love is. Owning a dog must be one of the best things there are because they teach us responsibility, friendship, and offer plenty of fun time.
When President Biden won the elections, one thing that caught people’s attention was his two dogs who got to live at the White House together with him and his wife Jill Biden.
The dogs even appeared in the campaign’s promotional videos, and people loved the fact that the Bidens have been huge animal lovers.
Unfortunately, very recently, Joe and Jill announced that their German Shepherd of 13 years, Champ, died of old age.
“Our hearts are heavy tonight as we notify you that Champ, our beloved German Shepherd, died quietly at home. For the previous 13 years, he was our constant, beloved companion and the entire Biden family adored him,” the couple posted.
“He liked nothing more at the end of the day than curling up at our feet in front of a fire, joining us as a soothing presence in meetings, or sunbathing himself in the White House garden,” the Bidens said.
“He was most content chasing golf balls on the Naval Observatory’s front lawn or attempting to capture our grandchildren as they played through our Delaware backyard.”
Champ was by his human family’s side through their most joyful and most bereaved days.
Sadly, Champ’s health started deteriorating due to old age. Yet, he never stopped being happy whenever his humans were by his side and he never stopped wagging his tail.
Champ was adopted when he was just a month old puppy from a litter at a Spring City, Pennsylvania breeder. It was the Bidens’ grandchildren who named the dog Champ.
The family owns another dog, Major, whom Joe Biden adopted from the Delaware Humane Association in November 2018 to keep Champ company.
“Our hearts are heavy tonight as we inform you that Champ, our beloved German Shepherd, died quietly at home.” He was our constant, cherished friend for the last 13 years, and the entire Biden family adored him.
“Even as Champ’s power faded in his final months, he would promptly pull himself up, tail wagging, and nuzzle us for an ear scratch or a belly rub.
“He wanted to be wherever we were, and everything felt better when he was nearby. Nothing made him happier than cuddling up at our feet in front of a fire at the end of the day, joining us in meetings as a calming presence, or sunbathing himself in the White House garden.”
“He was most happy chasing golf balls on the front lawn of the Naval Observatory or rushing to catch our grandchildren as they ran through our Delaware backyard.
“He was with us in our happiest and worst times, attentive to every unspoken sensation and emotion. We adore our cute, lovely boy and will never forget him.”
Losing a dog means losing a member of the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Biden family.

When Eli Hill, an 8-year-old boy from Corbin, Kentucky, went outside to play basketball, nothing spoke trouble. Unfortunately, the game soon turned into a freak accident which claimed this boy’s life.
According to police, as reported by WKYT, the boy went to get something to stand on in order to dunk the ball in the hoop, but then, all of a sudden, the backboard hit him and crushed his chest, causing him to die from blunt force trauma.
The Hill family said their son was very special. They described him as kind and loving with a great knowledge of sports.
“Eli was only eight. But in his eight years, he has shined his light so bright,” said Eli’s mom, Ashley Hill. “We’re just so proud of him. We are just so proud of the legacy he’s left behind.”
The family made a decision to donate his organs so that now someone else can have Eli’s heart of gold.
“As many knew Eli Hill you know how much joy one kid can bring into your life but also anywhere he is. For the kid who loved baseball more then anyone on this planet you could quickly see one person who was so special to the sport.”
The family also issued a warning through the police department for people not to donate money to the GoFundMe page set up in their name because it wasn’t them who set it.
The Better Business Bureau warns about suspicious crowdfunding and says to always double-check before you donate.

Home is where your heart is, they say, and different people have different perspectives of what an ideal home should look like. While most of us dream of big and comfy houses with many bedrooms, a garden, and even a pool, some find pleasure in residing in unique and unusual homes, just like retired engineer Bruce Campbell who bought a plane and turned it into a home.
Shutterstock
The Boeing 727-200 was used as a Greek aircraft until the mid-1960s. What Campbell learned later on was that the plane was in fact the one Jackie Kennedy Onassis used to transfer the body of her second husband, Aristotle Onassis, to its final resting place in March of 1975. Aristotle passed away in France, but was buried in his homeland of Greece.
The plane used to belong to Olympic Airlines, which was later renamed to Olympic Airways by Aristotle, who bought the Greek state airline (then called T.A.E.) in July of 1956.
Turning the plane into a place to live cost Campbell around $218,000. However, the inside doesn’t resemble a typical home as he did his best to keep most of the original plane’s equipment intact. For example, he uses the cockpit as a place to study.
What made Campbell buy the plane and turn it into a home was his desire to save the aircraft from being sold as scrap metal.
“My goal is to change humanity’s behavior in this little niche,” Campbell told Greek Reporter.
If you take a look of the inside, you will see two functioning toilets, a functioning makeshift shower area, a living space, a workspace, and a kitchen.
For more on this unusual project take a look at the video below and don’t forget to tell us what you think.

Being a child of a celebrity usually comes with the price of public exposure and living a life under the spotlight. Most times, these children are forced to live with the pressure of reaching their famous parents’ fame, and are expected to act and behave in a certain manner.
However, it looks like this isn’t always the case.
When it comes to singer Reba McEntire and her only son, Shelby, she has raised him not to be a spoiled brat. Instead, she did her best to implement in him the values she was taught by her parents and grand-parents who always taught her to be down-to-earth, as she indeed is besides the extent of her fame.
Reba knows she did a great job as a parent whenever someone tells her that her son is an incredibly humble man.
Being brought up in the countryside came with certain values for Reba who once told People, “Mama and Daddy always said to me, ‘If you tell somebody you’re going to be somewhere at a certain time, you show up. That’s the way I was raised.”
Shelby is no different than his mother. “I’m very proud of him. He was a kid who had ADHD and could barely read in school, and now he’s read 10 books this year. He’s always trying to improve and do better. His daddy did a great job too,” she shared with People.
“When we would play games or cards, I’d never let Shelby win,” the singer said. “He wouldn’t have learned anything that way. I always told Shelby, ‘I’ll always love you, but I want other people to like you. So don’t be a little jerk. Don’t be a spoiled brat.’”

Speaking of raising him, the Does He Love You hitmaker said that despite her hectic work schedule, she spent regular quality time with her son.
“I had the best nannies, and I took him on the road with me,” she said. “When I couldn’t, I would fly home after a concert, get him up in the morning, take him to school and pick him up. We’d play until I had to fly out again for a concert that night. I wanted to be with Shelby. Still do.”
Shelby, who is now 33 years old, is a professional race car driver. In 2022, he married his girlfriend Melissa.

Though Shelby is Reba’s only biological son, she also has five stepchildren. While married to her first husband, Charlie Battles, she became a stepmother to his two sons, Lance Battles and Coty Battles, with whom she remained very close even after her marriage ended. When she married music manager Narvel Blackstock in 1989, she became a stepmother to his children Shawna Blackstock, Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband, and Chassidy Blackstock.
“I don’t consider Brandon, Chassidy and Shawna stepchildren,” she told The Boot in 2010. “I claim them all.”

One thing is certain. Besides being an incredible country singer, Reba is also an amazing mother.

NEW YORK, NY - MAY 07: Macaulay Culkin seen out in Manhattan on May 7, 2017 in New York City. (Photo by Robert Kamau/GC Images)
Macaulay Culkin started his acting career at the age of just 4, starring in the iconic film Home Alone at age nine, only to take a very long break from Hollywood at only 15.
It’s safe to say that he’s one of the most famous child stars ever, enchanting millions of people with the role of Kevin McCallister which earned him both a Golden Globe nomination and a Young Artist Award. His broad portfolio of performances includes Uncle Buck with John Candy in (1989), Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992), My Girl with Anna Chlumsky (1991), The Good Son (1993), and Richie Rich (1994). And this is all before he even turned 15.
Being the third of seven children, Culkin’s family lived in a Manhattan apartment. Shortly after stepping foot to Hollywood, the young star became a familiar name who rose to stardom almost overnight.

However, after starring in a number of iconic films, Culcin decided to leave the film industry, and the reasons were various. Among the rest, he missed being a regular child.
“I was tired of it, to be honest,” Culkin said of acting in a 2018 interview with Ellen DeGeneres. “I did like 14 movies in six years or something like that. I was away from home a lot. I was away from school. I needed something else.” After retiring, he went to high school. “It was the smartest thing I could have possibly done was to take eight years off,” he added.
Another reason why this superstar opted out of the insane world of child stardom and went for a quieter life were his parents, particularly his father, Kit. He couldn’t stand the pressure any longer, and rumors were that Kit wasn’t the best of a father. In fact, he once tried becoming an actor himself, and when he failed, he pushed his children towards the world of film. “My father was jealous of me. He was a bad man. He was abusive. Everything he tried to do in life, I excelled at before I was 10 years old,” Culcin said.
Culcin spoke of the decision to emancipate from his parents and said, “Our 1994 divorce was one of the best things that’s ever happened, as it led to me leaving the industry,” during Marc Maron’s podcast in 2018, as reported by the Mirror. “I wanted to take a break for a while and eventually I was like, ‘I’m done guys, hope you all made your money because there is no more coming from me.'”

In 2020, he told Esquire that he didn’t divorce his parents, instead he removed their names from his trust fund.
“It’s always misconstrued, that I ‘emancipated’ myself from my parents. The story was that I divorced my parents. I just thought I was doing it cleanly–taking my father’s name off, taking my mom’s name off, so my opinion is unbiased. And when I did that, the whole thing kinda ended a lot faster.”
Today, Culcin is married to Brenda Song. The two have two children together. Their daughter, whom they welcomed in 2021 is named after Culcin’s sister who died in a car accident. Their son was born in early 2023.

Some love stories are meant to last forever. Finding that one special person you want to spend your entire life with is a blessing.
When it comes to Hollywood marriages, one thing is certain, they don’t usually last, but there are those who prove that fame can never affect the love they have for one another. Take actor Matthew McConaughey for example.
The Dazed and Confused star is a loving husband and a father of three. He and wife Camila Alves met in 2006 and tied the knot six years later.
In a recent Instagram shared by Alves, McConaughey is seen cutting his son’s hair, and people think that’s the cutest thing ever, especially because the actor doesn’t reveal much about his personal life and his family on the social media.
Along with the photo which shows a clump of Livingston’s blonde, highlighted hair on the floor, the Brazilian model wrote, “Then this happened.”
Another thing that caught the attention of many is the uncanny resemblance of the boys, especially 14-year-old Levi, to their father. It’s easy to see that he’s the spitting image of his famous dad.
The family leads a quiet life in Texas, and speaking of it, Alves shared with Fox News Digital, “It’s been great. It really embodies our belief system, especially the ones I grew up with, like going to church every Sunday, saying ‘yes ma’am’ or ‘no, sir.’ I grew up saying those things coming from a family of farmers. For me, being from Brazil and then coming to Texas, I discovered a lot of similarities in terms of what families practice here, especially going to church on Sundays, and being very into the outdoors. It’s been a great transition.”
McConaughey has also spoken of his family in the past, especially of his children. “Sometimes loving your kids means giving them just what they want. Other times it means tough love. Affluent people can give their kids everything they want, but they’re not usually going to get what they need. Loving a child is a lot harder if you really give a damn. ‘No’ takes a lot more energy. It’s a lot easier to say ‘yes,’” he told Town & Country in 2020.
The actor also discussed the difficulties of raising teenagers.
“You know, it’s interesting because when you have little ones, you are physically exhausted, right? And I feel like when you get to the teenagers … it’s almost like you need more energy,” he told US Weekly.
“You need more brain power because it becomes all very about the mind, right? It’s like a teenager [is] trying to find their identity and find how they’re going to navigate their lives. So I think that … for me, it’s more challenging in a good way.”
Recently, the couple celebrated their daughter’s, Vida, 13th birthday and had a special guest, Woody Harrelson.
“Uncle @woodyharrelson is questioning if the cake is vegan or not!!!” McConaughey wrote under a photo he shared which shows Vida with her cake and Harrelson looking bewildered. Of course, it was just a joke which made many laugh.
McConaughey and Alves are the founders of the organization Just Keep Livin’ that “is committed to enabling high school kids by equipping them with the tools to lead active lives and make healthy choices for a better future.”
Following the shooting massacre during which 19 children lost their lives, McConaughey became an advocate for gun regulation.
What a beautiful family, don’t you agree?

Having a sibling means having a best friend for life. The brothers and sisters are the first people to turn to when we face difficulties in life, and the first people we feel the urge to call when something beautiful happens, because we are certain that the happiness we share with them doubles.
Our siblings hold special place in our hearts because they represent a piece of our childhood that we never want to let go of.
Chris Garafola and Brittany Garafola are a brother and sister from Vermont who are lucky to have one another. The two are also best friends, and it has always been like that. Brittany has Down Syndrome, and she is a very special person in her brother’s life. The two grew up in a loving family and developed a close-bond which is unbreakable until this very day.
According to Chris, who is two years younger than his sister, he and Brittany were a “package deal” and he doesn’t remember an opportunity he missed to remind her just how special she is to him.
In a touching Instagram post, Chris wrote that Brittany: “Always poured her love onto him, challenged him, and taught him timeless lessons—giving him countless opportunities to grow (quickly) as a man, and become the best BROTHER he could possibly be.”
Of course, having Down Syndrome has sometimes been challenging for Brittany, not because of herself, but mainly because of the society and how these people are perceived by some. However, she has been able to overcome all the challenges knowing her brother is always by her side.
When the two grew older, Chris met the love of his life, a woman named Tatiana who knew how important Brittany was to Chris, so she started loving her as if he was her sister too. What’s most, Chris and Tatiana even postponed their wedding in order for Brittany to be able to attend it. During the pandemic, Brittany needed to be extra careful because of her weak immune system, so she couldn’t go out much. But the moment she got her COVID-19 shot in February 2021, her brother and her future sister-in-law could start preparing for their big day.
Of course, both Chris and Tatiana knew that Brittany deserved a special role on their wedding day, so one day, Tatiana FacedTime with Brittany and asked her a very important question while Chris, who works as a male model, filmed the entire thing.
“And you know what I wanted to ask you? Can you be my maid of honor?” Tatiana can be seen asking in the video.
As expected, Brittany bursts into tears of joy and answers, “Yes, I can.”
Chris and Tatiana tied the knot in April 2021. The newlyweds had a special gift for Brittany, a beautiful ring which served as a reminder that she would always be a very important person in their lives.
“She’s been my best friend since day one and even once I’m married, it won’t change,” Chris said.
As the video of their wedding was posted online, many couldn’t help but praise Chris and his wife for their dedication and commitment towards his older sister.
This is what love between siblings should look like, don’t you agree?

Actress FARRAH FAWCETT at the New York premiere of her new movie Dr. T & The Women. 10OCT2000. Terry Lester/Featureflash
Farrah Fawcett wasn’t just an on-screen angel, but an angel in real life, too. Her mesmerizing beauty was a huge part of who she was. Although she didn’t want people to see her as a beautiful face, the truth is that her appearance did help her become a celebrity which marked an era. “I always felt so self-conscious,” Farrah’s mother Pauline recalled the actress saying. “I wanted people not to look at me because so many people kept looking at me.”
Ever since she was a young girl, everyone noticed her charm. During her high-school years, she was voted “Most Beautiful,” a title she earned once again while at university. Somehow, a photo of her reached Hollywood PR man, David Mirisch, who was eager to meet her and work with her. At the time, Farrah attended the University of Texas where she studied microbiology and art, but after being offered to move to Los Angeles multiple times, she decided to accept the offer. She only planned to stay there for a short while and then return to university, but her career took off and she became a megastar loved and adored by millions.
Youtube/Classic TV Rewind
At first, she appeared in a number of commercials, and before long, her face was on the covers of every magazine. During the mid 60’s, Farrah tried herself as an actress. She initially appeared in television series such as I Dream of Jeannie, The Partridge Family, and The Flying Nun, before television producer Aaron Spelling had cast her in the 1975 television movie Murder on Flight 502. Her acting was extraordinary and the audience accepted her with arms wide open so Spelling offered her the role in his brand new TV show Charlie’s Angels. “We were looking for the California beach-girl type, and Farrah was perfect for that,” he wrote in his 1996 memoir A Prime-TimeLife. “She was drop-dead gorgeous and the living image of the beautiful L.A blonde in tennis shorts or a bathing suit.” Well, the rest is history.

As Farrah reached worldwide fame, it was her hair which became her trademark. “Her feathered, high-lighted, layered phenomenon was a work of art that looked as if it had just come out of the sea and had been tossed by the wind into a state of careless perfection. Farrah’s hair was emblematic of women in the first stage of liberation – strong, confident, and joyous – before the reality of mortgage payments and single parenthood set in,” the Times wrote, as quoted by Texas Monthly.
After one season on Charlie’s Angels, Farrah had it enough. She decided to leave the show but the production sued her for $7 million for breach of contract. In a settlement, she agreed to return for six more episodes and starred in 29 out of 115.

“I left Charlie’s Angels because I felt creatively stifled,” Farrah said.
“Now, when I go back to Charlie’s Angels, it is much better. I have a chance to work with the writers on the script and the director. I can treat it like a business, I could not do that before, I was hurt at first because I was sued.”
She then added: “I read things in the press that hurt, like things that girls had said. All of that is past now. We are all friends again. I feel much better.”

In 1976, at the same the series aired, Farrah posed in a red one-piece bathing suit which became the best-selling poster of all time.
Farrah enjoyed her fame, but at the same time, she was angry because of all those stories magazines made up about her.
“I go through life thinking everything is wonderful,” Farrah said. “People keep things from me. I don’t read most of the things about me. You almost have to quit reading to keep from being hurt. Writers write unflattering things bout you because that sells.
“Sometimes I get very sad,” she added. “I just want to go out and be myself; I would like to just go shopping or go to the movies and buy popcorn and sit quietly in the audience. But I am constantly watched. Things like going to dinner with friends become very precious.”

Over the course of her career, she received many awards and nominations.
Farrah was married once. Her marriage to Lee Majors lasted for nine years. The divorce was finalized in 1982, but the couple separated a couple of years before that. Farrah dated actor Ryan O’Neal for many years. He was a good friend of Farrah’s husband. The two first met in 1979, and he though she was the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen.
“She’s delightful, full of childlike warmth,” Ryan wrote in his 2012 book Both of Us: My Life with Farrah. “There is no pretense or cattiness about her whatsoever, she’s vibrant and wholesome, refreshing in this town.”

He witnessed her marriage break down. “Farrah and I have no plans to marry — nor do we have plans to separate,” Ryan said. “Don’t fix what ain’t broken.”
Farrah and Ryan welcomed son Redmond O’Neal in 1985. In 1997, however, she caught him cheating with actress Leslie Ann Stefanso, and a year later, they split.
In 2001, Ryan O’Neal was diagnosed with leukemia and Farrah was diagnosed with cancer herself five years later. He spent all his time by her side and took care of her.

“The hair is gone,” he told People at the time.
“Her famous hair. I have it at home. She didn’t care. I rub her head. It’s kind of fun, actually, this great, tiny little head. How she carried all that hair, I’ll never know. She doesn’t have a vanity about it.
“It’s a love story. I just don’t know how to play this one. I won’t know this world without her. Cancer is an insidious enemy,” he added.
Sadly, great Farrah Fawcett passed away in 2009 in the arms of Ryan O’Neal.
In his book, he wrote: “After the priest leaves, I lie down next to her, wrap my body around her to keep her warm, and then take her hand. I can feel a steady pulse… I caress her hand for hours. Her heart refuses to quit.
“I’m left alone with my love. I take her hand. I can still feel her pulse, but now it is fluttering. She’s trying to let go. Her heartbeat slows, then disappears. On the morning of June 25, Farrah slips into eternal sleep.”
Farrah and Ryan spent 30 years together, but he had his regrets and said he wished he had a do-over.
“I would have been much kinder, more understanding, more mature,” he told People.
“I’d lose some of the savagery. I don’t know how she got cancer; maybe some of it was me. But ultimately, there was never a day I didn’t love her.”

Farrah’s assistant, Mike Pingel, opened up about the actress’ final days in the book Channel Surfing: Charlie’s Angels, and wrote, “Farrah fought as hard as she could,” adding: “All of it was to be here for Redmond, her child. Redmond was her moon, her stars, her sky, her heart. Her father was also, but Redmond was her life. She fought tooth and nail to continue to live, to be with him. And she documented her journey through cancer… because she wanted to help others. Farrah was not only an icon, but she wanted to help everybody with… her life.”
“She did everything she could,” Pingel added. “Whether it was experimental treatments in Germany or just bringing to light different things about the cancer world, she felt that’s what she needed to do with her journey, to help others.
“As a boss, she was an amazing person,” Pingel explained. “She was exactly who you thought she was. A down to Earth Texan – just a good, wonderful woman. And the smartest woman I knew. She knew what her image was worth. She knew what she was worth… She was just the smartest person in the room and the person everybody wanted to meet. Jay Bernstein, who was her old manager, once told me, ‘Everybody wanted to meet Farrah from the busboy to the Prince of Wales. Whoever was in the room wanted to meet Farrah wherever she was.’ And it was absolutely true.”

“Farrah had a huge career,” Pingel said. “’Charlie’s Angels’ was just one year out of her career. She knew that it catapulted her… She [and the other girls] couldn’t go anywhere with paparazzi and fans following them everywhere… She always loved ‘Charlie’s Angels.’ And a lot of it was the camaraderie with Jaclyn and Kate. They were sisters. As a threesome, they shot into stardom together… They were always going to be connected to this embodiment of the ‘70s, the golden years of television. She really embraced it. She enjoyed it. [And] she was happy when she left. She thought she did what she could with the character, and she went on to do… great work as an actress.”
In 2019, the late actress’ friend Mela Murphy, who was by the actress’ side during her last days at the St. John’s Health Center in Los Angeles revealed Farrah’s last words. The actress kept repeating her son’s name, ‘Redmond.’
“She was saying his name, ‘Redmond’. That was the last thing she said. I told her I’d take care of him, that I’ll always be there for him. I said, ‘You can go now.’ It was just a few hours before she died,” Murphy shared.
“Farrah did not have an ego,” Pingel reiterated. “She was always that sweet Texas girl. Her parents raised her well and she loved her parents so much. Daddy Fawcett would call every day. Regardless of what was going on – if she was sleeping, talking to somebody else – everyone got dropped off because Daddy was calling, and she had to take his call. She was daddy’s girl, America’s girl and TV’s sweetheart. That’s Farrah Fawcett.”
She truly was an icon and she is still dearly missed.

The media has been covering the topic of Céline Dion’s health ever since the singer appeared to have lost significant amount of weight.
Recently, however, it was reported by a representative of hers that Dion suffers from muscle spasm, something that affects her ability to be on stage. As a result, Dion was forced to cancel several concert dates in Las Vegas.
“Celine has been experiencing severe and persistent muscle spasms which are preventing her from performing,” the statement read.
“Her medical team continues to evaluate and treat her. However, the symptoms she is experiencing are prohibiting her from participating in the ongoing rehearsals for the new show.”
Speaking of her health condition, Dion said in a video that she posted back in April that “she’s not there yet.”
“I need to be in top shape when I’m on stage.
“Honestly I can’t wait, but I’m just not there yet. … I wanted you to know that I’m sorry for this news. I know you’ve all waited so long for the concerts, and I appreciate your loyalty.
“All I can say is that I’m doing my very best to get back to the level that I need to be so that I can give 100% at my shows because that’s what you deserve,” she added, overcome with emotion.
Sadly, it seems like her health hasn’t improved much. The singer posted two videos on her social media, one in English and one in French, in which she said that due to her serious sickness, she is unable to “sing the way I’m used to.”
She added that the muscle spasm impacts every aspect of her everyday living. “It’s been incredibly difficult for me to face these obstacles and talk about everything that has happened to me,” she continued. “I’ve had health problems for quite some time.” Her tours have been postponed again. “I can only sing,” Dion added. “I’ve done that my whole life. And it’s what I’m most passionate about.
On Thursday morning, François Legault, the Premier of Québec, expressed his wish for Dion to “get well as quickly as possible” to reporters on his approach to the National Assembly’s question period.
As a tribute to Dion, a children’s choir performed My Heart Will Go On in Toronto’s Queen’s Park.
We truly hope Dion would be able to perform in the near future.

Neena Pacholke, morning news anchor for WAOW, dies at the age 27. The devastating news was shared by WAOW, “Neena Pacholke, our beloved morning anchor passed away suddenly Saturday. The entire team here at News 9 are absolutely devastated by the loss as we know so many others are as well,” their statement read.
Neena was known for her infectious smile and her positivity, and that is the reason why her sudden death left everyone shocked.
Reports are that she died by suicide. At the time of her death, Neena was engaged, according to her older sister Kaitlynn Pacholke.
Rumors are that her fiance’s infidelity forced Neena to take her own life. Allegedly, she sent her friend a text message, telling her that her loved one cheated on her.
“She was just like a little ball of sunshine, and her smile was massive. My sister was by far the happiest person I thought I knew,” her sister shared with Tampa Bay.
What puzzled many is that the last social media post by Neena was a retweet of a tweet by author Jon Gordon which reminded people that the best is yet to come.
“She was a kind person with a big heart and a contagious smile and we will miss her greatly,” the station said in their statement.
We are not positive because life is easy. We are positive because life can be hard.
Give yourself (and others) grace. Speak life and encourage others. Look for the good today. Remember your WHY. Believe the best is yet to come.
Neena joined the station in 2017 as a journalist and was promoted to anchor the year later. She was also a basketball player who played for the University of South Florida in her college years.
Her colleagues are devastated, and they have a hard time accepting the fact that Neena is gone, especially because she was considered “the brightest light in the room” with the “biggest smile and the funniest laugh,” as her co-anchor Brendan Mackey said.
“I have never met anyone in my entire life that is more loved than this girl. Everyday she made people smile, whether that was through a tv screen or just being an incredible friend. She was so happy and so full of life and a role model,” his Facebook post read.
Neena’s passing is yet another proof that we never know what people are going through. They may appear like the happiest people on Earth, but the struggles they face in their head is something that not many are aware of.
“She just radiated love and positivity, and she just cared so much about pouring into other people, and always put other people first. I think she did that at the expense of not caring about herself,” her sister added.
Rest in peace, Neena. You are dearly missed.

12AUG97: Actor SAM NEILL at the premiere, in Beverly Hills, of his new movie,"Event Horizon."
Jurassic Park actor Sam Neill revealed in his new memoir that he has been diagnosed with blood cancer and will need chemo for the rest of his life.
He learned of his condition in March 2022, and thought: “I’m crook, I’m dying.” As reported by the BBC, being unable to work, he turned to writing as a distraction and to “give me a reason to get through the day.”
Neill revealed that the conventional chemo treatments didn’t prove to be working so he turned to more expensive chemo drug which he would need to take in monthly doses. “I’m not afraid to die, but it would annoy me,” Neill said in an interview with The Guardian. “Because I’d really like another decade or two, you know? We’ve built all these lovely terraces, we’ve got these olive trees and cypresses, and I want to be around to see it all mature. And I’ve got my lovely little grandchildren. I want to see them get big. But as for the dying? I couldn’t care less.”
Shutterstock
Further, he explained that the drug he’s currently taking is an experimental drug. He signed a contract with the manufacturer that if he is still alive after four months of receiving it, he would get it for free for the rest of his life. “Have you noticed I have a slight look of lab rat about me?” he said in an interview, adding that two days after taking the drug he felt “shithouse.”
“I’m not off the hook as such, but there’s no cancer in my body,” the New Zealand actor shared. He also added that he’s looking at life with
“It’s much easier to identify who other people are, but you hardly ever ask the question of yourself: who am I? You know, [when I was sick] I would look in the mirror and see a completely different person, not a hair on my head, no eyelashes, the beard had fallen off on a pillow somewhere in hospital. I was unrecognizable,” the Peaky Blinders actor shared.
“I would look at this alien…Really? Is that you? So that begs the question, who are you? And so I had to think about that. I mean, it’s never really interested me to sort of reflect on myself. You know, sometimes you go, you fuck**g idi0t, why would you do that? But that would be as bad as it would be.”
Shutterstock
This thinking is what made him write his memoir titled Did I Ever Tell You This? which he says is not a “bloody cancer book.”
“I found myself with nothing to do, and I’m used to working. I love working. I love going to work. I love being with people every day and enjoying human company and friendship and all these things. And suddenly I was deprived of that. And I thought, ‘what am I going to do?’” Neill said.
“I never had any intention to write a book. But as I went on and kept writing, I realized it was actually sort of giving me a reason to live and I would go to bed thinking, ‘I’ll write about that tomorrow, that will entertain me.’ And so it was a lifesaver really, because I couldn’t have gone through that with nothing to do, you know.”
Shutterstock
Of course, being optimistic doesn’t mean the diagnosis didn’t take a toll on his life. “I can’t pretend that the last year hasn’t had its dark moments. But those dark moments throw the light into sharp relief, you know, and have made me grateful for every day and immensely grateful for all my friends. Just pleased to be alive.”
We wish Neill only the best life brings and we hope his treatment works and keeps him well many more years.

Born Anthony Dominick Benedetto on August 3, 1926, in Queens, New York, legendary musician Tony Bennett started his career in the most unexpected way. When he was still very young, he started working as a waiter at an Italian restaurant located in his neighborhood. Soon after, he started singing while serving food to the guests. “I loved that time of my life, and I honestly feel that, if I hadn’t made it professionally, I would be perfectly happy going back to being a singing waiter,” Bennett shared with The San Diego Union-Tribune .
Shutterstock
After he learned that entertaining audiences was his calling, Bennett started studying singing at the American Theatre Wing just after his service in the war was over. His singing coach, Mimi Spencer, was probably the person who impacted his career a great deal. She would always say to him not to imitate other singers, but musicians instead.
“That’s the same thing that Billie Holiday said in her book, that she imitated Louis Armstrong. I imitated (jazz pianist) Art Tatum. He held on to the basic melody like a rock, but his chords and sense of accompaniment were astounding.”
By 1949, or until he met singer, comedian, and performer Bob Hope, Bennett performed under the name Joe Bari. That, however, changed as Hope believed Tony Bennett was just the perfect fit.
During his career of many years, Bennett released 60 studio albums, 11 live albums, and sold 50 million records worldwide. He has a huge number of hits which brought him numerous awards, but one song in particular, I Left My Heart in San Francisco, is what defined his singing career.
Speaking of it, Bennett recalled how he first heard it while he was on the way to San Francisco with Ralph Sharon who said: “You have to listen to this song.”
“And on that trip, we had a show at a little club in Hot Springs, Arkansas. We were rehearsing the song and a musician came over and said: ‘If you record that song, it’s going to be a big hit’.
“So when we got to San Francisco, we started performing it and everybody said ‘Where did you find that song? You need to record it right away.’ We recorded it and, sure enough, it became the biggest record I ever had,” Bennett recalled.
The song is so important, not only to Bennett, but the entire country, that in 2018, it was it was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress for being “culturally, historically, or artistically significant.”
Shutterstock
In recent years, Bennett has been performing with huge names such as late Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga. Sadly, back in 2016, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, but it wasn’t until 2018 that he started to show signs of the disease.
The good thing is that despite he’s experiencing cognitive issues, “multiple other areas of his brain are still resilient and functioning well,” as per his neurologist, Dr. Gayartri Devi.
“He is doing so many things at 94. He really is the symbol of hope for someone with a cognitive disorder,” Dr. Devi said, adding how Bennett’s wife, Susan, is to be thanked for her “level of devotion.”
“I’ve been humbled by [her]. She also expects a lot from him. I think her background as a teacher helps, but she’s also very much in love with him. And he rises to her expectations.”

Bennett was spotted at the Tony’s MTV Unplugged Concert, where he performed with Lady Gaga. He was accompanied by his wife.
In August, he is expected to perform at the New York’s Radio City Music Hall along with Lady Gaga, coinciding with his 95th birthday. As per CNN it would be their final performance together and a final performance in his career. It’s “set appropriately at a venue that Tony has enjoyed a multi-decade run of sold-out shows,” the released press said.
In addition to being one of the most famous musicians there are, Bennett is also a painter. He signs all his paintings with his born name, Anthony Benedetto.
Rick Allen, one of the best drummers there are, who has played with Def Leppard for over 35 years, has been viciously attacked by an intoxicated 19-year-old man named Max Hartley. The incident took place in front of the Four Seasons in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on March 13.
As Allen was standing in front of the hotel, Hartley rushed towards him, hit him in the head, and knocked him on the ground.
Witnessing Allan being attacked, an unnamed woman tried to intervene, but Hartley then turned towards her and started pulling her by her hair. When she fell on the ground, he continued attacking and hitting her. In attempt to save herself, she ran towards a hotel, while the attacker went to the nearby parking garage and started damaging vehicle.

Eventually, he was caught by the police.
That night, several people called 911 in order to report the incident, and judging from the police tapes, the night was a chaotic one.
In one of the calls, a person is heard saying, ”Apparently a guest, some guy assaulted her and was actually beating her up in front of the front of our building,” while another person reported: ”Send the police here right now!…I’m sitting on a f—–g suspect.”
As expected, Allan’s fans were worried for the drummer and sent their well-wishes. He then broke his silence regarding the attack and wrote on the social media, thanking everyone for their concerns.
“Your love and prayers are truly helping. My wife Lauren was thankfully not with me at the time of the incident. We are together now, and working on recovering in a safe space,” he wrote.

The legendary drummer was in Florida for a performance at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Back in 1984, Allan lost his arm but continued to play the drums, although he needed to re-teach himself how to do it with just one arm.
The Thunder God, as he’s called by his fans, spoke of the time he lost his arms and said, “They wanted to re-attach it, but an infection set in, and because it was so close to my heart, they didn’t risk it. Looking back, the doctor told me that if the re-attachment had been successful, I would have been going back for operation after operation. I wouldn’t have wanted to go through that. I suffered enough pain, both physically and mentally.”
As he has been through a lot in his life, the recent attack took a heavy toll on him.
”We are focusing on healing for everyone involved,” Allen said on Facebook.
”We ask you to join us in our effort to move from confusion and shock to compassion and empathy. We understand this act of violence can be triggering for so many people.”
As of the attacker, Harley, he’s been charged with four counts of criminal mischief. His lawyer claimed that his client has never had trouble with the law in the past.

When she re-created her revelatory stage role as Helen Keller in the 1963 film adaptation of The Miracle Worker, talented and gorgeous Patty Duke became the youngest Academy Award winner at the time. This was the start of an incredible career which spanned decades and helped Duke found her place under the Hollywood sky and on the list of the most prominent actresses in the industry.
”I had many, many, many fears and obsessive fears as a young person, and maybe I was incorporating them into that role. And I do know for a fact that the role was very therapeutic for me…” Duke once recalled.
Wikipedia Commons
Her acting caught the attention of Sidney Sheldon, the creator of I Dream of Jeannie, who created a role based on Duke’s distinct personalities for The Patty Duke Show. It was probably Sheldon who first spotted that Duke experienced mood disorders.
In the show, Duke played paternal twin cousins, rambunctious Patty Lane, and brainy Kathy Lane. Later on, another character, Bestsy, was introduced and she was played by Duke as well.
”For its genre, it was quite a lovely little show. And they were nice people, and they weren’t saying nasty, hideous things to each other all the time. And I kind of miss that element of a family show,” Duke told NPR in 1988.
“At the time, Duke had not been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but Sheldon created the twin roles after identifying her distinct personalities. Before being correctly diagnosed, she referred to her life as ‘the deep black hole from which you cannot extricate yourself.’”
Wikipedia Commons
Once she was diagnosed, Duke was never afraid to speak of her mental health publicly. Although she knew it could affect her career, she was more interested in raising awareness and help others who shared her condition. Later on, her son, actor Sean Astin, best known for Hollywood Hits like The Goonies, Rudy, and Stranger Things, founded The Patty Duke Mental Health Initiative in his mother’s honor.
Duke reprising her role as Cathy Lane in a series of U.S. government Social Security promotions for filing for Social Security online, 2011
His daughter, Ali Astin, graduated from Harvard and she followed into her father’s and grandmother’s footsteps and in pursuing an acting career herself. Among the rest, she played his dad’s on-screen daughter in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
Ali looks like her grandmother Patty, and the resemblance is so strong that many say how Patty Duke, who passed away in 2016, continues to twin with her granddaughter.
In December 2017, on what would have been Duke’s 71st birthday, Ali posted a side-by-side photo of her and her nana, with a birthday tribute that read:
“This is the last text my nana ever sent me, I had just gotten my first big review: ‘Ali dear, Pops and I are so proud of you. Congrats on your rave review. Wish we could have seen you. We’re not surprised that you did so well. We think of you all the time. We love and miss you a ton.’”
Many of Duke’s fans were quick to comment under the post with one of them writing, “You look so much like her. Beautiful,” while another added, “You look so much like her. Loved Patty.” Third simply wrote, “Twins.”
Among the rest, Ali has played in the movies Bad Kids of Crestview Academy (2016) and Apocalypse Society (2017). Besides her grandmother and father, many of her family members are also part of the movie industry, including her grandfather John Astin who played Gomez in the 1964 TV series The Addams Family.
It is very often that people compare Ali with her late grandmother when she posts photos of herself on the social media. Some of the comments are, “Lil Miss Patty Duke!! Your grandma would be proud,” and “You remind me of your Grandmother in that photo.”
We wish Ali a career as successful as that of her grandmother.

If you’re worried that your faith in humanity is diminished down to nothing, fear not, because there are still people like Amanda out there who spark a little brighter and love a little stronger and restore what seems to be lost.
This extraordinary young lady is a business woman and a respected member of the community, but above all, she is a mother of a very special child with Down Syndrome. This means she is perfectly aware of how these people who other see as ‘different’ are sometimes treated by the rest of the world. She is perfectly aware of the stares and how they affect the level of self-esteem of her child and others like him. This makes Amanda protective and wants everyone to know that those people perfectly fit with the rest of us, and their slight difference only makes them special and unique.
When Amanda heard of an incident at her restaurant, she was eager to learn what really happened. That’s when she understood that one of her employees who happens to have autism was harassed by a rude customer.
She simply couldn’t get over it without taking the matter in her hands.
YouTube
Many of the people who work in her restaurant are disabled and the reason behind her decision to hire them is because she knows very well that these people might need more time to master a task than others and they learn at their pace, but once they acquire the skills they are unstoppable.
Amanda has a unique way of doing business and that’s appointing specific tasks to different people so everyone is in charge for their tasks only. The customer asked the employee to refill a bowl with lettuce, but he wasn’t trained to do that. After the manager explained to the customer their way of doing things and how the employee didn’t do what he was asked to simply because he didn’t know how to do it, the customer became even more frustrated. Before he left Pizza Inn he said how they should have hanged a sign with a ‘warning’ that disabled people work at the place.
Instead of getting angrier, Amanda actually thought that might be a good idea.
YouTube
The sign she put at the door of the restaurant said,
“We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and hire all of God’s children.”
Amanda told WYFF that putting that sign was sort of appreciation for her employees’ job well done over the course of the years. That was also a perfect way of protecting their emotional and mental health. Amanda says, “These are like my kids, and it made me angry. I wanted to do something that was not rude, but got my point across.”
YouTube
As of the rude customer, who is probably not getting back to her place, Amanda said, “If he is not OK with that, then I’m OK with him not coming back. That’s a dollar that I don’t need.”
If you feel like what Amanda is doing is really special and if you liked the way she stood for her employee please share her story with your family and friends.
From the moment she first appeared on American Idol, Kelly Clarkson has stolen millions of hearts. Some 20 years later, she’s still considered an American sweetheart and one of the best female singers there are.
Kelly was born on April 24, 1982, in Fort Worth, Texas. She has always loved singing and performing, although she only did it at home until her music teacher, Cindy Glenn, heard her sing in the hallway of Pauline Hughes Middle School. Kelly was offered a place in the school choir and soon after everyone learned how talented she was.
This America’s sweetheart who taught us that in life everything is possible didn’t have it easy early in life as her father abandoned her and her family, and that left a huge mark on Kelly who found it difficult to trust men ever again.
Shutterstock
When she started dating her now ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, everyone agreed that she met just the right person for her. Brandon has always appeared as loving and invested in the marriage.
Shortly after tying the knot, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter River Rose. In 2016, they welcomed son Remington. Together with Brandon’s two children from a previous relationship, they made a cute blended family.
“Brandon is not my other half. He’s a whole, and I’m a whole. I’ve never believed in someone taking care of me, and that’s probably because I grew up poor and without a lot of family stability,” Kelly said of Brandon back in the day.
Shutterstock
Everything seemed perfect and Kelly and Brandon were considered one of the best celeb couples, but that all changed in 2020 when Kelly filled for divorce. The news came as huge shock to many, especially her fans. Nothing spoke trouble, so it didn’t come as a surprise that people started wondering what was going on behind closed door throughout the years.
Kelly hasn’t often spoke publicly of her divorce, but recently, during an appearance on IRL podcast, she opened up about the entire experience after she was asked what divorce “does to you.”
“It rips you apart, whenever you fall in love with someone and it doesn’t work,” the singer said.
“I think the thing about divorce — especially having it publicised, and people thinking they know the whole thing, the hardest part of that is, like, it wasn’t an overnight decision.”
Source: Steve Granitz/WireImage
“Anyone that’s been divorced knows that was years in trying to make, not make it work – I never wanted to be part of something to ‘make it work.’”
She then added: “I wanted to make it beautiful, I wanted to make it awesome, I wanted to make it everything it possibly could be, and sometimes that just doesn’t happen.”
The 40-year-old also spoke of how the divorce affected her two children.
“Sometimes they’ll say, especially the past two years, and it kills me and I want them to be honest, so I don’t ever say, ‘Oh god, don’t tell me that,’ but a lot of times it would be like, ‘You know, I’m just really sad, I wish mommy and daddy were in the same house.’
“They’re really honest about it, I’m raising that kind of individual.

Following the divorce, it has been revealed by the media that she should be paying whooping $200,000 a month to her ex-husband as part of divorce proceedings.
We wish Kelly Clarkson only the best life brings.

It goes without saying that French-born actor Alain Delon is still considered one of the ultimate symbols of not only European, but the world’s cinema. He has had a sensational career and starred in a number of iconic movies which helped him reach the pedestal and stay there for many years.
Among the rest, he landed a role in Purple Noon, 1960, which is considered to be his first major project. It is a brilliant thriller that borrowed inspiration from the famous Patricia Highsmith novel The Talented Mr. Ripley. That same year, he had his breakthrough performance which propelled him into proper stardom in Rocco and His Brothers. In 1962, he played alongside Italian actress Monica Vitti in The Eclipse, under the direction of acclaimed Italian director Michelangelo Antonioni. For his role, he won the Special Jury Prize at the Cannes festival, and was nominated for the Palme d’Or.
In the 1960’s, Delon tried to make it big in America. He landed some small parts in movies The Yellow Rolls-Royce, 1965, which also starred Shirley MacLaine.
Delon then signed with Columbia and starred in Lost Command, alongside Anthony Quinn and Claudia Cardinale, and Texas Across the River, opposite Dean Martin, among the rest. However, at the time, he didn’t feel like he was reaching the stardom he hoped for so he returned to France where he featured in another big hit as hitman Frank Costello in Le Samouraï.
Being a huge celebrity and someone many generations loved and adored, Delon’s private life has always been of great interest with the public.
The actor with signature piercing blue eyes and natural French charm dated stunning Romy Schneider for five years before they called it quits and he married another woman that same year. Delon and actress Natalie Delon tied the knot in 1964 and divorced just five years later, welcoming son Anthony in the meantime.
Delon had relationships with actresses Mireille Darc and Anne Parillaud. In the 1980s, he began a two-decade long relationship with Dutch model Rosalie van Breemen with whom he welcomed two children, daughter Anouchka Delon (born in 1990), and another son, Alain-Fabien Delon (born in 1994).
His youngest son, Alain-Fabien, not only followed into his famous dad’s footsteps, but he’s inherited the great looks too. He resembles the legendary actor so much, that people can’t help but say he’s spitting image of Alain Delon, and we can only agree with that.
A strange animal resembling a ‘werewolf’ stood by the side of the road around an orchard in Madera Ranchos, California. With a mangy patch of fur, skinny and balding, he made everyone fearful to even look at him.
Months passed by and no one wanted to approach the poor animal whose skin was hard and scaly and whose tail was pointy and broken. The only black fur left was that on his neck and head.
Everyone believed he was dangerous and it was obvious he was sick, so people would turn a blind eye when passing by him.

Luckily, one day, an angel in the form of a human decided this dog was worth her time. The woman stopped to check on the poor canine and decided to call for help. Then, another kind-hearted woman named Megan Bowe answered the call. Megan, who is the founder of Bowe’s Adoptable Rescued Pup, told The Dodo, “I was about ready to cry when I saw how bad off he was.
“He was really on his last leg. He was depressed and could barely even stand up.”
Megan soon realized what this ‘werewolf’ was in fact a very sick and neglected German shepherd mix. She named him King and immediately took him to a vet’s clinic.
Facebook/ Bowe’s Adoptable Rescued Pups
The number of diseases King suffered from were plenty, but Meghan and the doctors decided to treat them each at the time. His most serious conditions were his scabies, the broken pelvis and the broken tail which needed to be treated surgically.
“My vet thinks he got hit by a car, and that would explain how his tail was so messed up, too,” Megan said. “That injury happened months ago, because by the time I got him it had already started to heal incorrectly. And with such a damaged pelvis, he wasn’t able to get around very far on his own to look for food so he was extremely skinny and dehydrated.”
Facebook/ Bowe’s Adoptable Rescued Pups
King’s health condition made him look old, but in fact, he was only a year of age. Because of his diseases, some of which were contagious, Megan needed to place him at a separate section of the place where she kept the rest of the animals she took care of.
Luckily, King started eating and he was getting a bigger portion every day.
As his condition gradually got better, King was ready to undergo the much needed surgery for his broken pelvis and tail.
And the operations were successful!
Facebook/ Bowe’s Adoptable Rescued Pups
It took him some time to be able to walk again, but with the help of Megan and the vets, he achieved the impossible and stood on his feet again.
Megan hopes that King would soon be able to be put up for adoption. All she hopes for is that a loving family would embrace him and give him a loving home.
“It’s hard to think that all those cars passed him by and never stopped. No one wanted to bring him home or help him because he looked so bad… But all it took was one person,” Megan said.

It is because of people like the woman who called for help, and Megan, who was ready to step in, that this world becomes a much better place.

Lisa Marie Presley suffered cardiac arrest on January 12, 2023, after which she was transferred to the ICU unit in a critical condition. According to reports, she was put in an induced coma and on life support with a temporary pacemaker before she passed away.
And as everyone expected that her family would remain close and reunite in grief, the opposite happened. If reports are to be believed, Lisa’s mother, Priscilla Presley, and her older daughter, Riley Keough are fighting over Graceland, the property of late Elvis Presley which Lisa Marie inherited back in the day.
However, Lisa also had two other daughters, twins Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood and Finley Aaron Love Lockwood. When Lisa and the girl’s father, Michael Lockwood divorced, they started a legal battle over the custody of the twins; it was a bitter one and lasted for five years, or until Lisa Marie’s sudden passing.
Elvis’ only daughter was married to Lockwood from 2006 to 2016, although their divorce was only finalized in 2021.
Lisa Marie adored her children and she was very proud of being a mother. Shortly before her twins were born, she spoke about motherhood in an ABC News interview and said, “Having children makes everything better. Even if you’re an adult, no matter what’s happening, they’re always there, so whatever they’re going through, you go through it with them as well. They act as your anchor, pushing you to abandon your identity and focus solely on them, which is fantastic. Oh, everything is fantastic.”
It was reported that Lockwood has now been given the full custody of his daughters and he’s now doing all in his power Harper and Finley to be represented fairly in the legal battle over Graceland and Lisa Marie’s other assets. For this reason, he’s petitioning to be their guardian ad litem during the legal battle considering that both of his daughters are set to be beneficiaries of the trust while Lockwood is not.
“The minor is a beneficiary of a trust at issue before the probate court in the above-referenced case. The minor requires an appointment of a guardian ad litem to represent her interests in the proceeding,” the petition says, and adds: “there is no conflict regarding appointment.”
Lisa Marie and Lockwood had their differences and he wasn’t invited to her memorial service, but he still showed up in the company of his twin daughters and Priscilla Presley, which according to reports, angered Riley and furthered the tension between her and her grandmother Priscilla.
The lawyers that represent the 14-year-old twins have already filed a declaration in support of the movement which the girls supported. they also signed consent forms.
We are yet to see what the future holds for Lisa Marie’s family and how the legal battle will end.

From Blackadder, which helped him make a name for himself, to House, and a number of other films and projects, actor Hugh Laurie has had an incredible career. This British-born actor’s popularity has grown enormously over the years, and he’s now considered one of the best in Hollywood.
Recently, he has been spotted taking his dog for a walk and what many noticed was that he altered his looks. Wearing a pair of dark trousers and trainers, with a hat and a bushy beard, many agreed that he didn’t resembled his old self as we are used to see him clean-shaven most, if not all, of the time.
The photos were made shortly before the release of his three-part series Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?
Being a popular name in the industry, Laurie brings what he says is his favorite Agatha Christie novel to the screen with this mini series.
“I would say the novel has been a passion of mine for a long time,” Laurie, 62, shared with Reuters. “The more I thought about it, the more I enjoyed the idea of trying to get what I thought was a sort of comic adventure spirit onto the screen.”
The cast consists of Will Poulter and Frances Derwent, as well as Emma Thompson and Jim Broadbent, who play Lady Frances Marcham’s aristocratic parents.
Back in the day, before tying the knot with his wife of 33 years, Jo Green, Laurie and Thompson dated for a while.
Regarding his first major directing role, Laurie said: “The hairs on the back of my neck haven’t properly settled down from the first time I grasped the beauty of the essential mystery.
“Since then, I have fallen deeper and deeper in love with the characters, and feel immensely honored to have been given the chance to retell their story in this form.
“I will wear a tie on set, and give it everything I have.”
