Reaching a milestone birthday is a huge deal, especially if you turn 90.
As Patty’s 90th birthday was approaching, she was looking forward to spending it with those she loved the most in her life, her daughter Angie and her grandchildren. Angie promised to organize a small party for her mom, and as she wasn’t seeing her family much, Patty was over the moon and couldn’t wait for that day to finally arrive.
Spending time with her grandchildren was a fun time for the elderly woman who felt alone following her husband’s passing. They reminded her of Angie, her own daughter, but they also looked like their father John, whom Angie recently divorced.

Patty was sad her daughter and her husband split because she loved John as though he was her son, but she knew life was like that sometimes, and there was nothing she could do to mend things between them.
When the day of Patty’s birthday arrived, she was very excited, but as time passed by, that excitement turned into worry as Angie was nowhere to be seen. What’s most, she wasn’t answering Patty’s phone calls.
After hours and hours of waiting, the doorbell finally rang. Patty was quick, as she could be considering her advanced age, to answer the door. But instead of Angie and the grandchildren, it was John who was standing there with a box of chocolate and a flower bouquet.

“Happy Birthday, Ma!!” John said with a smile on his face.
“John?! Oh, wow! You didn’t have to,” Patty said, surprised to see him there.
She was glad he even remembered. But that didn’t really come as a surprise as John has always been a very thoughtful person.
Patty invited him to join her for dinner. John was hesitant at first, but once he realized Patty was all by herself at that moment he said yes.
What’s most, being an amazing cook, John even helped his ex mother-in-law to prepare the food.

As the two finally started having dinner, John asked about Angie. He wondered if she would mind him being there, at her mom’s house. Patty said she wouldn’t because she wasn’t probably coming since she hadn’t returned any of Patty’s calls.
John got worried and offered to call her. This time, Angie picked up the phone.
The two talked for a short while and then John told Patty the reason why her daughter wasn’t coming to her home on her birthday.
“It turns out Angie, her new boyfriend, and the kids are all on vacation,” John said with a worrying voice.
Patty was surprised. She wouldn’t understand why her daughter would hide such a thing from her. John was as angry because Angie took the kids on vacation without telling him or consulting with him.

Patty didn’t even know Angie was seeing someone and asked John if he knew who that man was.
“She’d mentioned something in passing, but a whole vacation?! And apparently, they’d been planning it for about a month now. Excuse me, Patty, but I believe your daughter’s taken things a little too far this time,” John said, visibly disturbed.
Patty was as disappointed. The least Angie could do was tell both her mom and the father to her children about her plans and that she wouldn’t be around for Patty’s milestone birthday.
Later, Patty had a few words with her daughter, but her act still felt like a betrayal.

One of King Charles’ closest friends, Ian Farquhar, passed away after a period of declining health in the cottage he rented on the monarch’s Highgrove Estate. He was well known for his wicked sense of humor and as one of the best huntsmen in Britain.
Highly esteemed and respected within the hunting communities of Britain and the United States, Farquhar was also a well-regarded and sociable equerry to The Queen Mother during his time as a young Army officer.
At the time of his passing, he was 78 years of age.
The friendship between Farquhar and King Charles translated into a friendship between their children following their brief romance. Back in 2000, while Prince William was on a school break, he and Farquhar’s daughter, Rose, spent some lovely time together in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, creating cherished memories. She’s described as the Prince’s “first love.” William attended her wedding to George Gemmell in 2022.
Queen Camilla’s first husband, Andrew Parker Bowles, told Richard Eden of the Daily Mail that the famous huntsman’s passing was ‘very sad’ and that his health had been declining in recent months. Bowles described his friend as “wild as a hawk in his youth, but always great fun.”
He added that Farquhar, who never took himself too seriously, would be “judged by history as one of the great Master of Hounds.”
Farquhar’s primary distinction as a huntsman was his role as Master of the Beaufort Hunt, a renowned hunt that is the oldest and largest in the West Country.
The Beaufort Hunt paid tribute to Farquhar on their Instagram page by posting a carousel showing the great huntsman at different stages of life, along with the caption, “It is with broken hearts we send our love and condolences to the family and friends of our own Captain Ian Farquhar, who so brilliantly piloted us for 34 years and passed away peacefully this week.”
The post continued: “‘Captain’ as he was known by many was loved and cherished by the entire hunting community, as someone who was supportive, kind and always there with excellent forward thinking advice for anyone who asked him.
“He had a wicked sense of humor and anyone who was lucky enough to be in his company and listen to tales of his extremely varied and adventurous life both in the army and the hunting world will hold onto those memories forever.”

Following his cancer diagnosis, King Charles has taken some time to commit to the treatments which meant he was absent for some time and his schedule was cleared of any royal engagements. During that time, it was his wife, Queen Camilla who stepped up big way fulfilled a number of significant royal duties. What’s most, she became the temporary lynchpin of the Royal Family.
It is certain that it took Camilla years to get to be loved by the public, especially following the scrutiny she faced after Princess Diana’s tragic death. Today, however, Camilla is a much-loved member of the British royalty.
Speaking of her role amid King Charles’ battle with cancer, royal expert Angela Levin referred to Camilla as to the one “holding the royal family” together.

“I mean, to wait till you’re 73 is a long time before you can take the crown. I think obviously, at his age, it’s very difficult, but he’s very determined, and he’s only really just started to be king,” Levin said during an appearance on GB News.
“Supporting him very much, absolutely by his side, is Queen Camilla, who is going to all the engagements that they would have gone to together on her own.”
“And so that way he will feel it’s still moving, it’s still running, and they can discuss it and talk about it. And I think that’s marvelous. I mean, she is holding the Royal Family up and being strong. If you imagine 30 years ago, people were saying the whole Royal Family would absolutely disintegrate, and she would be of no use.”
Besides not being fan of being in the spotlight, Camilla did her best to fulfill the royal engagements she was assigned, being perceived as “accessible” to the public along the way.

Royal expert and former correspondent Charles Rae was among those who praised Camilla for her work, saying she is “one of the best things to happen to the Royal Family” in a “good number of years.”
“There’s no question about it, she stepped into the breach. She’s got everything on her shoulders with what’s going on, and she’s taking on even more work,” Rae told GB News.
“Everywhere she goes, she has got a cheery smile on and a happy face. She says the right things. She has proved to be a remarkable asset to the Royal Family, given the allegations that at one time she had bread rolls thrown at her in a supermarket car park.”
The expert concluded: “I remember her when she was the most hated woman in Britain. I’ve met her several times and she’s charming, she’s witty, she’s really nice to chat to, and certainly when she’s chatting to people, she has done her homework as to who she’s chatting to.”
On Wednesday, Camilla accompanied her husband and Prince William to the 80th anniversary of D-Day in Portsmouth in which a number of WWII veterans got to speak of the war. Among them was Navy veteran Eric Bateman, who served in HMS Erebus off Utah Beach.

During his speech, the Queen was spotted with tears in her eyes. Her emotional response wasn’t something people expected since royals do not usually express extreme emotions while on duty.
In the speech that touched Camilla to the core, Bateman said, among the rest, “I’m lucky to be here 80 years later with two of my great-grandchildren. So many men and women, including my dear friend Fred, joined up with me but unfortunately never made it. I’m proud to be here today to all of them and to make sure they will always be remembered.”
His great-granddaughters also spoke, saying: “Without them, we wouldn’t have the freedoms we enjoy today. We will never forget. Thank you.”
King Charles also gave speech during the event.
“The stories of courage, resilience and solidarity which we have heard today, and throughout our lives, cannot fail to move us, to inspire us, and to remind us of what we owe to that great wartime generation – now, tragically, dwindling to so few,” he said.
“It is our privilege to hear their testimony, but our role is not purely passive: it is our duty to ensure that we, and future generations, do not forget their service and their sacrifice in replacing tyranny with freedom.”

Camilla wore pink outfit, which some found strange because royals usually wear black during remembrance events. Some, however, believe that her choice of color is a tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth who wore light colors.
A day after the event, the King and Queen went to France where they met with the French president Emanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron. They attended a commemorative event at the British Normandy Memorial.
What caught the attention of many was the first lady of France breaking royal protocol when she reached for Camilla’s arm. Camilla then moved away, not wanting to hold hands. Her reaction, however, caused a stir and divided people’s opinions.
“Move into the 21st century for god’s sake!” one user posted on X.
“The first lady of France is not bound by British royal protocol, just as Americans aren’t,” a second person stated. “She reached for Camilla’s hand at a meaningful ceremonial moment.”
A third person added, “Camilla should have held her hand warmly, and taken the opportunity to bring the Royal family into the 21st century,” while a fourth noted, “Brigitte Macron was reaching out as the wife of the French Head of State, in a gesture of solidarity between France and Britain.”

Royal experts also gave their opinion regarding Camilla’s gesture with political commentator Emma Woolf stating that the queen’s move was “unworthy,” demanding that the royal protocol be more flexible.
“I like Camilla, but I thought this was unworthy of her,” she told royal expert and host Mark Dolan during an appearance on GB News. “It costs nothing to return a little hand squeeze. She has only been Queen for a year or so.
“There is nothing wrong with taking someone’s hand. If you take a look at the Princess of Wales or even Meghan Markle out and about, they are hugging, they are interacting with the public. I think this royal protocol nonsense is rubbish. Brigitte Macron is not a ‘commoner’. She is the wife of the French President. I thought it was really unnecessary.”
Dolan disagreed with Woolf and said the queen was simply following royal protocol.
“There is one person who will be looking down on what she did there with such joy and pride,” Dolan said on GB News. “And that is Queen Elizabeth II. If the late Queen was there, she would have said, ‘well done, Camilla’.”

With the few exceptions of celebs who have stayed together for years and are still going strong, most Hollywood marriages end up in divorce eventually and the public is always eager to learn more when to A-list starts separate.
Most recently, the media has been obsessed with the relationship between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who tied the knot in July 2022 following a second engagement.
Amid the rumors of their split, photos of Affleck and his ex, Jennifer Garner, have gone viral, heating the speculations even further.
These outings between the Argo star and his former spouse – the two have been spotted together in Santa Monica most recently – have made some of Lopez’s fans mad so they were quick to share their opinion on the social media.
Expressing their sympathy for Lopez, one person wrote, “Garner is a dangerous, obsessed woman, using kids to control a weak man, one with addiction and depression issues.”
Another added they were happy because Affleck and Garner split because him being unhappy with her was the reason for his alcohol addiction.
Of course, there were also those who believed the exes made a great couple back in the day. “Ben and Garner are the real ‘Bennifer.’ They belong together with their kids but Ben is a fool.”
The truth is that Affleck and Garner remained friends who co-parent nicely. Before, they were spotted hugging one another. The two were dressed in casual outfits. Affleck wore blue jeans, a gray long-sleeved top, and white Air-Jordan Nikes, while Garner had gray slacks, a long-sleeved black top, and sunglasses.
In fact, Garner and Lopez seem to be getting along as well, with a person close to them describing their relationship as “very cordial and very healthy and functioning.”
Garner, who is in a new relationship following her divorce from Affleck, is happy with her new family dynamics, a person close to her said. “A great space and feels good about where things currently stand with her new family dynamics.” The source added: “[Affleck and Garner] have open communication and both are working to make this transition the best it could possibly be.”
While many believe that Affleck’s personal life is falling apart, he’s doing great in terms of work. In August, the film he co-produces and stars in, The Instigators, will be released.

Dustin Hoffman, the Rain Man star, has undergone a battle with cancer back in 2013 and ended up a winner. However, despite this fact, he never really spoke of his journey to being healthy again.
At the time, a spokeswoman for the then-75-year-old actor-director confirmed that Hoffman is “feeling great and in good health” after undergoing cancer treatment. Publicist Jodi Gottlieb shaed with the site that Hoffman’s cancer was detected early and “surgically cured.”
It was in 1967 that Hoffman had his breakthrough role in the romantic comedy The Graduate, which earned him his first Academy Award nomination. He was 30 at the time, and the rest is history. Over the years, he has landed a huge number of roles that placed him high on the list of best male actors there are.
Among the movies he played in are All the President’s Men (1976) and 1979’s Kramer vs. Kramer.
The film Tootsie, in which he played a man who dressed as a woman in order to land a role in a soap opera, was among those that left a long-lasting impression on the actor himself.
“If I was going to be a woman, I would want to be as beautiful as possible, and they said to me, ‘That’s as good as it gets.’ Uh, that’s as beautiful as we can get you,” Hoffman recalled in an interview with ABC News. When he heard that he wasn’t dubbed very pretty, the now 86-year-old actor had an epiphany that forever changed how he treats women.
“I went home and started crying,” Hoffman recalled. “I think I’m an interesting woman, when I look at myself on-screen, and I know that if I met myself at a party I would never talk to that character because she doesn’t fulfill, physically, the demands that we’re brought up to think women have to have in order for us to ask them out.”
Reaching the second highest grossing film of that year, Hoffman said that although it made many laugh, Tootsie was never a comedy for him.
In 1988, Hoffman won his second Oscar, for Rain Main – he earned his first for Kramer vs. Kramer – and went on to receive six Golden Globes and one Primetime Emmy.
His career was at his peak and he was in demand, but then, in 2013, he somehow fell quiet.
Many of his fans wondered where and why he was hiding, but it wasn’t until a few months following his directorial debut of the British comedy Quartet (2012), and shortly after finishing production on Chef (2014) in which he co-starred with Jon Favreau and Sofia Vergara, that a representative shared the reason of his reclusive behavior.
He battled cancer and he kept that battle private, his publicist shared with People.
“It was detected early, and he has been surgically cured,” Gottlieb said. “Dustin is feeling great and is in good health.” It has been suggested that he had throat cancer.
It’s been almost 11 years since he was cured, and despite the health difficulties he had experienced, Hoffman never slowed down. Since his cancer diagnosis was revealed, he starred in a number of movies, including Sam and Kate in 2022 and the 2024 sci-fi drama Megalopolis. He has also loaned his voice to Master Shifu in two more installments of the Kung Fu Panda franchise (2008 to 2024).
Recently, he and his wife were spotted on the streets of London and looked as in love as ever. “The Hollywood legend looked years younger than 86 as he smiled and waved at the cameras. He was tanned and carefree as he strolled through the city and ducked into boutiques with his wife of 43 years, wrote Hello!”

Recently, Oprah Winfrey’s spokesperson announced on Instagram that she would be appearing on CBS Mornings to announce her newest book club pick. Unfortunately, over the weekend, the popular host became ill with a stomach virus. Gayle King stepped in to explain why Winfrey was absent.
“Ms. Winfrey is recovering following a stomach virus and received an IV due to dehydration at the recommendation of her doctor,” a representative for Winfrey told CNN in a statement on Tuesday. “She is resting and feeling better every day.”
In a video call posted on Gayle King’s Instagram page, Winfrey told her best friend and journalist that she “couldn’t keep enough water down to keep her hydrated,” which led her to seek hospital treatment.
King told viewers that Winfrey will ultimately “be OK” following the health setback.
“[I hope] she’s not mad at me for sharing that detail,” she added.
In a joint interview for the New York Times in January, Winfrey and King enthusiastically praised each other and discussed the reasons behind their strong friendship.
“She is a blunt truth-teller. Even if you don’t want to hear it,” King said of Winfrey at the time. “[We] enjoy each other very, very much.”
Back in January, Winfrey showed that despite being 70 she’s very physically active.
The video she posted on Instagram showed the media mogul running on the beach together with her pup and another woman. In the caption, she prized health as the best gift and thanked people who sent her birthday wishes.
Many were amazed by Winfrey’s physical strength at her age and were quick to comment under the video.
She also wrote an article reflecting on turning 70 a day before her birthday, which was published on Oprah Daily.
“As I turn 70, I know how blessed I am to be here. Honestly, getting older when you have the means to take care of yourself is a gift to be treasured […] to reach this major milestone feels like grace in action.”
Winfrey chose a more laid-back celebration instead of an extravagant one, citing advice from a friend. Despite receiving numerous lavish suggestions for how to celebrate, she decided to keep it simple.
“I […] finally did what one friend, Wintley, recommended. He said, ‘You’re too blessed to stress. Savor the fragrances of your extraordinary life.'”
In another part of her article she said she strives to begin each day with joy, recognizing the blessing of being alive and the opportunity to embark on new endeavors. “At my age, you recognize the poignancy of time passing.”
She perceives aging as a gift, “And you know, people say that you’re never as young as you are right now at this moment. And while that may be true, I’m okay with that because aging brings great gifts—like being able to do more things that you want to do rather than what you have to do.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have settled down nicely in Sunny California. They don’t seem to miss their former lives as working royals much since they are now free to act as they wish without asking for permission or follow protocols and traditions.
Not only they landed multi-million dollars deals with several companies, among which Netflix, but they also have friends they spend quality time with. Overall, their life in the States blossomed, and Harry has always felt welcomed there, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone is happy with him living in America. One of those people who would like to see Harry leave the States is no other than former president Donald Trump.
Last year, The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank in the U.S., sued the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for accessing Prince Harry’s immigration records. When applying for certain U.S. visas, applicants must disclose any history of drug use, which can lead to their application being denied.

In his memoir Spare, Harry admitted to using various drugs and psychedelics, including cocaine, marijuana, and magic mushrooms. However, it is unclear if he disclosed this on his visa application. In March, Donald Trump suggested that Harry could be deported from the U.S. if he lied about his past drug use on the visa application.
“We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied they’ll have to take appropriate action,” Trump told GB News in March.
Later, Trump said that in case he wins the 2024 elections, he wouldn’t protect the prince.

“I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me,” Trump told the Express, adding that according to him the Royal Family was “too gracious” to the Duke after “what he has done.”
Back in 2019, Donald Trump visited the UK, and as part of the trip, he met with the various senior members of the British Royal Family, including then-Prince Charles – the two apparently spoke on climate change – and, of course, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
At around the same time, there were some tensions that involved Meghan Markle.
Namely, during an appearance on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, Markle spoke of Trump, who was running for a president at the time, as of “misogynistic” and “divisive.” What’s most, she shared she would give her vote to his opponent, Hillary Clinton.

Fast forward to Donald’s UK visit, Meghan had just given birth to Archie and was on maternity leave, so she didn’t appear during the state visit. Other reports suggested that she and Trump were intentionally kept apart to avoid an embarrassing clash, especially due to comments the then-president made before arriving in the UK.
Speaking with The Sun at the Oval Office, Trump said he had never heard Meghan’s words about him.
“I didn’t know that. What can I say? I didn’t know that she was nasty,” he told the magazine.
Of course, neither Meghan nor Harry were happy with Trump calling her nasty. Later on, Harry was actually scheduled to attend a lunch at which Trump was also supposed to be present. As the Duke was expected to remain politically neutral, he was supposed to “toe the line” around the US President.

“The Royal Family will be professional and duty-bound. But Prince Harry will be going to a private lunch with the Queen on Monday with Donald Trump and the First Lady, how incredibly awkward this is going to be for Prince Harry. He will lay on his very best charm because that is what he has been raised to do; that is what he is required to do,” royal expert Victoria Arbiter told the Express at the time.
She added: “So I think yes [the royal family] are all sort of aware of Donald Trump and how he has put his foot in it on numerous occasions. But Harry is there to support his grandmother, he will also be there to say thank you to Melania Trump because she did lead the US team to Toronto in 2017 for the Invictus Games.”
Harry and Melania met back in 2017 but it wasn’t a meeting that attracted the public’s attention. One detail on the photo the two took together, however, did make a hot topic.

Harry, who was still a working royal at the time, spent around 30 minutes with Melania before attending the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games in Toronto.
The detail which made many scratch their heads was Harry’s position of his hand. The Duke held his hand half-tucked into his jacket, with the pinky and index fingers sticking out, which many interpreted as the devil horns.This symbol can be traced back to the Middle Ages to ward off evil spirits.
However, besides what people said, body language experts have other explanations.
According to body language Patti Wood, the public misunderstood Harry’s gesture. “This is called the horn or the devil’s horn, and what people are saying in the media about it is not correct,” Wood told Huffington Post. “It is not a sign that he’s the devil, but rather a warning off of evil spirits. It’s a protective gesture against evil or darkness and illness.”

Wood noted that placing one hand on the stomach can be interpreted as a self-comforting gesture and explained that several world leaders have exhibited this same gesture when photographed with Donald Trump.
“I’ve seen world leaders in photo shoots with Trump and I see a lot of what are called self-comfort cues. This would be considered one of those. It looks like the devil’s horn but it is also hand to belly,” Wood concluded.
“At the very least it would be a comfort cue, and show a lot of tension and a need to protect his central core.”
Joe Navarro, another body language expert, said the position of Harry’s hand had nothing to do with the devil. “Had the photographers loitered too long? Is there something else going on?” Navarro said.

“I have to wonder, was he going to unbutton his jacket and then changed his mind? Was he in prep for sitting and then they asked him to stand again to do more photos? To me, you can’t draw too many inferences from the photo. I wouldn’t personally read too much into that.
“There was some psychological discomfort. The look of his face, the look of his hand is very unusual, except for the fact that he and his brother have a tendency to cover their belly which is a self-soothing behavior to deal with a bit of tension.”
From body language expert Tonya Reiman’s point of view, the prince was simply getting comfortable.
“For me, this was more of a comfort gesture,” she said. “Covering your stomach makes you feel more relaxed, more comfortable. When he heard the cameras going off, he was just getting comfortable.”

When Hank met Maya it was like his life finally felt complete. He was infatuated by her, and that infatuation turned into love. Feeling like she was his soulmate, he proposed to her and she said yes.
Their relationship seemed perfect. The two spent plenty of time preparing for their wedding, but when the big day finally arrived, Maya walked down the aisle and instead of embracing Hank she threw her bouquet at him and ran away from the church. He soon learned that her ex-boyfriend was waiting for her outside.
Left at the alter, he felt devastated and as though his world collapsed.
However, he never lost hope that love would find the way to his life and heart again, and he was right.
After some time, Hank met a new woman, Susan. The two fell in love and soon married.
Life felt perfect again. They got married and welcomed two beautiful children together.
Hank was very honest with Susan and told her everything about his past and how his ex left him on the day of their wedding. Susan did feel sorry for the pain he had gone through, but she was glad he didn’t marry Maya.
Years passed by, and Hank didn’t even think of Maya until one day Susan started calling his name asking him to come to the living room. Susan was watching a reality show when she heard the woman on TV, whose name was Maya, share a familiar story.
It was indeed Maya. She was part of some reality TV show where she spoke how she left her fiance at the altar and ran away with her ex. It could be seen from the way she spoke that she was proud of what she did. She didn’t feel even a tiny bit of remorse for her action.

Joanne Webber, 26 at the time, had been working with orcas for five years when an incident that left her with a broken neck took place in 1987. While she was in the tank, the 6,000-pound mammal landed on top of her, pushing her to the bottom of the pool.
The orca in question, Kandu V, had been involved in several incidents prior to the one Webber was hurt in.
John Hargrove, a former SeaWorld trainer who appeared in the 2013 documentary Blackfish, told The Sun Online that although he wasn’t working at the park at the time, he heard about the incident afterwards and said Webber was left in “excruciating pain.”
He added that the trainer was heard yelling, “I think my neck is broken” as she made several attempts to escape out of the pool and save herself.

According to The Los Angeles Times, during the practice session Kandu V leapt into the air before landing on Webber with its full force, “fracturing her neck and thrusting her underwater to the bottom of a 40-foot-deep pool.”
Later, Webber sued SeaWorld in a case that was settled out of court for a sum unknown.
Ever since this incident, SeaWorld forbade trainers from swimming with the massive mammals. The park also added at the time that their orcas are not aggressive and receive world-class care by a number of specialist who practice “positive reinforcement.”

As per Webber’s lawsuit filed at San Diego Superior Court in June 1988, she was told the mammals were “gentle” and “safe” thus she made the decision to be inside the pool with them. The suit further claimed that staff members worsened her condition because they delayed her medical treatment by urging her to remove her wetsuit at the park so it wouldn’t be damaged by medical personnel.
Webber alleged park workers “well knew that killer whales had a dangerous propensity for attacking, ramming, dragging and smashing persons located in the pool,” but didn’t tell her. She claimed Kandu V often exhibited “extreme characteristics of aggression when frustrated. She does occasionally bite and aggressively rake other whales.”

This wasn’t the first reported cases of the same mammal attacking a person. Months prior, former SeaWorld trainer Jonathan Smith was also attacked by Kandu V, but this time another orca, Kenau, joined in. In the three minutes that the attack lasted, Smith suffered serious injuries, including bruised kidneys and ribs as well as a cut on his liver. He spent nine days at the hospital. Just like in Webber’s case, Smith’s lawsuit was settled out of court.

Despite the two attacks, Kandu V continued performing for SeaWorld until her life ended in a horrific manner on August 21, 1989.
While Kandu V’s daughter Orkid performed a show with another female orca, Orkid, Kandu V, which was in a side back pool, started ramming into Orkid at full speed with her mouth open. At that moment, she broke her jaw, severing a major artery in her nasal passages.
To the shock of the visitors, Kandu V started spouting blood out of her blowhole and died.
According to SeaWorld, Kandu V fought for dominance and her behavior wasn’t out of the ordinary. “It’s common behavior. For the survival of any species, the stronger animal has to rule,” vet Jim McBain told the LA Times at the time. “The death was an unexpected shock, but the altercation was not a rare event at all. It was normal behavior.”
In 2016, SeaWorld promised to stop breeding orcas in captivity.
The story of the incident involving Webber emerged recently after two orcas attacked each other while performing.

The star of films Speed Racer and The Good German, Christian Oliver, and his two daughters were killed in a plane crash in the Caribbean, according to police in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The police further explained that the crash occurred Thursday just west of Petit Nevis island near Bequia as the plane headed for nearby St. Lucia. They were traveling with a single-engine plane which allegedly had some problems early in the flight and then crashed into the water.
“Moments after taking off, the aircraft experienced difficulties and plummeted into the ocean,” investigators said.

As per a statement from the Royal SVG Police Force, local divers, fishermen, and members of the coast guard rushed to the scene to render assistance.
Military personnel were eventually able to recover the bodies of those onboard the plane: Oliver, his girls, Madita, 10, and Annik, 12 and the aircraft’s pilot and owner, Robert Sachs from Bequia.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
According to Deadline, the actor had just finished shooting his last scenes for the upcoming movie Forever Hold Your Peace. The director, Nick Lyon, posted a photo of himself and Oliver on Instagram ate Thursday night.

It was back in November 2022 when a woman who found herself in a total confusion because of an unusual request decided to take to the Reddit’s forum Off My Chest and seek advice.
Starting her story, the woman explained that she and her fiance have been together for six years and engaged for eight months. Jack, a recent Navy recruit, led a routine naval mission that took an unforeseen turn when a submerged aircraft, initially believed to have historical importance, exposed a dark and sinister secret.
The aircraft attracted plenty of attention and the team that stumbled upon it came across mysterious assortment of items that piqued their curiosity.
Upon further research, it was determined that the plane’s last reported position matched its current resting place beneath the waves. With this breakthrough, the team devised a strategic plan to raise the aircraft from its watery grave.

A team of divers armed with years of experience and training navigated around the aircraft, but it was made clear that accessing the plane in its current location was impossible. This asked for another plan – deploying a massive crane stationed on the ship’s deck, poised to undertake the monumental task of lifting the plane to the surface.
Finally, when the aircraft emerged from the ocean’s depths and surfaced into the daylight, a palpable sense of awe filled Jack and the rest of his team, but it was when they took a closer look of the inside of it that they were met with an unforeseen discovery.

Instead of the what they expected to find, the interior revealed a disquieting array of objects, intensifying the mystery surrounding the aircraft. Jack’s keen eye noticed a subtle clue, triggering a series of events that would expose a criminal conspiracy of unprecedented scale.
There was no single clue that would relate the aircraft of the presence of crew or any passengers. The cockpit, typically bustling with the pilot’s activities, was eerily quiet and deserted, prompting plenty of questions about the circumstances that preceded the plane’s landing into the ocean.

Besides the imperfections, the golden age of flying, a period in aviation history roughly spanning from the late 1940s to the 1970s, represents a striking chapter in the history of flying. It was a time when air travel captured the imagination of the world and embodied the spirit of adventure, innovation, and aspiration.

Life on board used to be completely different than it is today, and if you feel like you are riding in a bus but in the sky while flying these days, in the past, the experience of flying was all about glamour and luxury.

Graham M. Simons, an aviation historian, recalls, “Air travel at that time was something special. It was luxurious. It was smooth. And it was fast.” The seats were spacious, and passengers were offered cocktail lounges, five course meals, and an endless flow of champagne. “People dressed up because of it. The staff was literally wearing haute couture uniforms. And there was much more space: seat pitch – that’s the distance between the seats on the aircraft – was probably 36 to 40 inches. Now it’s down to 28, as they cram more and more people on board.”

Nowadays, booking a flight is as easy as a gentle breeze on a sunny day, carrying you effortlessly to your destination. Back in the day, however, the choices were limited and far more expensive. A return ticket from Chicago to Phoenix was priced at $138 as indicated in a TWA brochure from 1955. Guillaume de Syon, an aviation history expert, says, “[Depending] on the route, it was four to five times as expensive to fly in the Golden Age,” which is why flying was only reserved for the wealthiest individuals.

The service, as well as the food was top notch. “The airlines were marketing their flights as luxurious means of transport,” Simons added.
Suzy Smith, a former flight attendant, recalled: “We started with canapés, then we came out with a cart with appetizers, which included beluga caviar and foie gras.”
The rules and the security weren’t as strict, so flying brought passengers a sense of freedom. “It was like going to a cocktail party. We had a shirt and tie and a jacket, which sounds ridiculous now, but was expected then,” Keith Lovegrove, a fan of old-fashioned flying said.

The flight attendants were dressed to impress. They were expected to provide exceptional service while adhering to strict appearance and behavioral standards. Airlines imposed requirements on attire, hair length, weight, and even marital status. Uniforms became increasingly revealing by the 1960s, reflecting the era’s emphasis on presentation.
Although safety was nowhere near as good as today, everything else made flying an exceptional experience during the Golden Age of flying.

Just like her mother, Libby Huffer, 45, suffers from a condition known as neurofibromatosis type 1, a genetic disorder that causes non-cancerous growths wherever nerves are present.
Sadly, this condition has left her with over 6,000 tumors on her body, which led to bullying. Libby has been called named over the years, and people went to the extent of branding her “a toad” and “lizard breath.”
Her condition became even worse when she fell pregnant and gave birth to her daughter 23 years ago. At the time, the number of tumors multiplied into thousands.

Libby has these tumors on every part of her body, including her face. What’s worse, they not only affect her appearance but also cause her chronic pain.
Unable to cope with the condition and they way she looked, Libby decided to start a fundraiser back in 2016 that would help her pay for electrodessication – a pioneering surgery to remove the tumors and prevent them from growing back.

Luckily, she was able to raise the money, and in June the following years, she had underwent the much-anticipated surgery which helped her get rid of around 1,000 of the tumors on her face and other parts of her body. The surgery was successful, but it left her with many scars which required a CO2 laser treatment.
“There’s still a long way to go to heal the emotional damage I’ve undergone over the years, but I know that will only improve over time,” she said.
“The more surgeries I have, the more confident I will become and that will help to erase some of my painful childhood memories.”

“Now I don’t have as many large tumours on my face and I feel like I’ve gained more confidence since the surgery.
“I don’t think people are staring at me as much now, I’ll still get kids looking at me occasionally but there’s definitely been a big difference.”

“The tumours all over my back cause chronic pain, the nerves in my feet have a tingling sensation all the time which make it hard to sleep,” she said.
“They can even hurt from simple things like a hug or even if water from the shower hits them in a certain way.”
“But I am a human being too, all I want is to be adored and cared for like anyone else.
“Instead of making comments, I wish people would talk to me rather than stare like I’m a circus freak, it just makes me feel really uncomfortable.”
The surgery that changed her life cost her $23,500 and let her live without the stares and taunts from people for the first time in three decades.

When people get old, some families struggle with the demand of eldercare while others remain dedicated to supporting and providing for their elderly relatives.
Paul and Rachel, a brother and sister, got into an argument over their elderly grandmother Eleanor.
The old lady spent her days painting, and according to Paul, she became a burden because she didn’t contribute to the finances of the family. Hearing Paul’s words, Rachel was shocked. “Paul, she’s our grandmother. She raised us, remember?” she said. But Paul was determined to kick his grandma out of his home. “That was then. Things are different now,” he said, crossing his arms. “She doesn’t bring anything to the table anymore. She just sits there, painting and wasting time.”
“Those paintings mean something to her,” Rachel said. “And they could mean something to us if we let them.”
“Sentimental nonsense. I need to think about the future, Rachel. We can’t afford dead weight.”

Realizing he was no longer planning to take care of their grandma, Rachel found herself wondering what life would bring for the elderly lady. It was then that Paul suggested Rachel taking grandma Eleanor in. “She can stay with you,” he said bluntly. “You seem to care so much.”
Rachel agreed. There was no way that she would leave her grandma without a roof over her head, although her brother’s demand left her with a bitter taste in her mouth.

Grandma Eleanor got the spare room in Rachel’s house. It became a nice place that felt cozy and felt like home. She could paint there, with the help of Rachel’s children who adored her and loved listening to her stories.

As time passed by and Eleanor made a number of beautiful painting, Rachel’s children made her post them on the social media.
To Eleanor’s surprise, her work attracted plenty of attention, and one day, she received an invitation by the local gallery to exhibit her paintings.
The weeks leading up to Eleanor’s solo exhibition were a flurry of activity. She worked tirelessly because she not only painted, but wrote the stories behind each of her paintings.
On the big night, the gallery was filled with people and almost every painting was sold. Rachel even received several commissions, securing her financial independence.
“Thank you all for believing in me,” the sweet grandma told the crowd, tears of joy streaming down her face.

When the word of her success reached Paul, he suddenly showed at Rachel’s door. When she opened it, the first thing he said was that he was sorry for kicking their grandma out of his house. “I made a mistake,” he kept repeating while looking down. “I shouldn’t have kicked her out, I see that now.”
“It’s a little late for that, Paul,” Rachel told him. “You showed your true colors when you turned your back on family.”
Speaking to his grandma, Paul said he wanted to make things right. “No, Paul. You only want to make things right because you see my success now. Where was this concern when I needed a home, when all I had was my art and my memories?” Eleanor said.

“You lost our respect,” Eleanor added. “And that’s something you can’t buy back with apologies or money. Family is about love and support, not about what you can get from them.”
Realizing that his apologies weren’t enough to rebuild the bridges he had ruined, Paul turned around and left.
Eleanor then turned to her granddaughter and told her that she was thankful for everything she had done for her. But it was Rachel who was grateful because her grandma taught her to cherish the people who truly matter.

Eleanor’s career as a painter blossomed. People loved her work and she sold plenty of paintings. As of Paul, he only witnessed his grandma’s success from afar. Hopefully, he learned a valuable life lesson.

The “hush money” trial involving former president and business mogul Donald Trump attracted the worldwide attention.
A Manhattan jury found him guilty of all 34 counts of falsifying business records, making him the first ever president in US history to be convicted of a felony. Judge Juan Merchan set a sentencing hearing for July 11.
Trump pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned last year.
“This was a rigged, disgraceful trial,” Trump told reporters upon leaving the courtroom. “The real verdict is going to be Nov. 5 by the people. They know what happened, and everyone knows what happened here.”
Following the verdict, Trump repeated several false claims regarding the trial, angrily complaining about the gag order he still is under. Further, he claimed he wanted to testify, but his lawyers advised him against doing so.
“I would have testified. I wanted to testify,” he said. “The theory is you never testify because as soon as you testify — anybody, if it were George Washington, don’t testify because they’ll get you on something that you said slightly wrong, and then they sue you for perjury.”

Trump then blamed current president Biden and his people for the outcome of his trial.
“They are in total conjunction with the White House and the DOJ. Just so you understand, this is all done by Biden and his people,” Trump said of the court.
The case against Donald Trump was brought by the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and prosecuted under New York state law, which means it was not connected with the White House nor the DOJ, as per NPR.
The former president could be sentenced to probation or up to 4 years on each count in state prison (offering a maximum of 20 years). At the moment, however, he remains a free man since prosecutors did not ask for the opinion-dividing ex-president to post any bond.
The verdict only only affects Trump and his plan for the upcoming elections, but his entire family too, and that certainly includes his wife Melania and his youngest son Barron.

In the wake of Donald Trump’s guilty verdict, Melania and Barron were said to have been at Trump Tower in Manhattan, as per Page Six.
“Everyone has gathered around Trump at Trump Tower,” a source told the news outlet.

“I don’t know what their agreement may or may not be, but Melania needs to leave him. Not because of what he did with me or other women but because he is a convicted felon,” Daniels told the Mirror.

His next step in life is attending college. Donald and his children, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Tiffany Trump, have all graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, but doesn’t necessarily mean Barron will make the same choice. In fact, just days after his verdict, Trump spoke publicly about his son and said, “He’s amazing actually, in a certain way.” Further, Trump said on Fox & Friends Weekend Sunday, “[Barron]’s tall, good-looking…a very good student. And he’s applied to colleges and gets into everywhere he goes.
“He’s very sought after from a standpoint, he’s a very smart guy. He’s a very tall guy. And he’s a great kid. He’s cool, he’s pretty cool, I’ll tell ya.”
Trump has highlighted his son’s height many times in the past and during an occasion he said that it was his grandma’s food that made him grow that tall.
The former president has always spoken dearly of his wife’s parents, especially her now-late mother Amalija Knavs.
“Great people, great parents to all of us, really. Great parents, but also to Barron. Boy, did she take care of Barron,” he said.
“That’s how he got so tall, he only ate her food.”

Hanna and Ryan met by pure chance. Their encounter could have ended totally differently after he crashed into the bouquet of flowers she had bought for her friend who had her directorial debut with a musical at the local theater.
Instead, they introduced themselves and both agreed they weren’t fans of crowds.
From that moment on, they stayed in touch and started dating. It only took Ryan three months to pop the question, and Hanna was quick to say yes.
Their romance was picture perfect. Hanna’s parents accepted Ryan and were happy their only daughter found someone who make her world complete. They accepted Ryan as the son they never had, and his parents felt the same for Hanna.
Hanna felt she was loved and appreciated by Ryan’s parents. She and his mom, Mrs. Audrey Cole, would have their nails done together, and did some fun stuff.

Everything seemed like a dream and Hanna couldn’t wait to finally say “I do,” to the man she knew was her soulmate. However, she ended up saying “I don’t” and leaving the church on what was supposed to be the happiest day of her life.
Before the wedding, just as the ceremony was about to start, Audrey pulled Hanna aside and said, “Darling, can we chat for a moment?” Hanna said yes, but asked from her mother-in-law to wait until her glam team was done with her hair and makeup. Something about Audrey’s demeanor made Hanna anxious. She could see from the reflection in the mirror that Audrey wasn’t at ease as her eyes moved around the room quickly, often settling on the wedding dress hanging from its hook.
Moments later, as Hanna’s mom was buttoning up her wedding dress, Audrey got closer and said, “There’s no easy way for me to say this.” Hanna was surprised. She thought Audrey would make a comment about how nice the dress fit her as she hadn’t been to any of the fittings, but her future mother-in-law had something else in mind.

At that moment, Audrey took her phone out and said, “There are videos on this phone that will explain everything. I am so sorry, Hanna, but Ryan needs to be caught out.”
Hanna’s mind raced. She couldn’t possibly imagine what was on that phone.
The video showed a woman, almost naked, and a man whose face wasn’t visible but Audrey claimed to be her son’s.
“Are you sure?” Hanna asked. “This is him?”
“Well, look at the jacket on the bed,” she said. “Isn’t that the one you got him?”

Hanna pressed play again, and looked at the jacket. The hotel room also looked familiar—she was so sure that they had been there before.
“But Ryan’s face isn’t in the frame,” Hanna said.
“Hanna,” Audrey said slowly. “It’s right in front of you. You can choose to overlook it, but think of the man that you would be marrying if you choose to ignore it. Could you live with yourself knowing that? Could you live with him?”
Doing her best not to cry, Hanna said she couldn’t live with someone who had betrayed her like that.
“You’re calling off the wedding?” Audrey asked, hope lining her voice.
“No,” Hanna. “I’m going to walk down that aisle. I’m going to walk to the man who has been unfaithful to me. And when the time comes for our vows, I’ll break it off then.”

As she walked down the aisle, Hanna experienced a roller coaster of emotions.
Ryan squeezed her hands, but all she could think of was that video. When it came to their wows and the question whether she takes Ryan to be her husband, she answered “I don’t.”
Ryan couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Thinking it was a joke, he asked the priest to ask her again, but Hanna’s answer was the same. When Ryan demanded explanation, Hanna said his mother had it. Then, Audrey took her phone again and showed the video. Looking at it, Ryan started saying that it wasn’t him but Hanna refused to listen and left the church, her parents walking after her.
“Hanna, please,” he said. “I need you to believe me.”

Hanna refused to take any of Ryan’s calls and even blocked his number. But three days later, he appeared at her parents’ doorstep with flowers and food. He wanted to talk to Hanna and explain everything.
It turned out that Audrey, who was a high-school teacher, orchestrated everything in order to ruin the wedding. Those people in the video were two students of hers. She used Ryan’s jacket to make everything more reliable.
Hanna was surprised. Audrey always claimed she loved her as the daughter she never had. She was always nice and full of understanding. Was it possible that she was only acting the entire time?

According to Ryan, she did that because she didn’t want her son to get married because she believed she would lose him. Also, she thought Hanna was unworthy of her son. She believed at first that their relationship wasn’t serious, but when the time came for them to marry, she panicked.
Hanna forgave Ryan, and he forgave her for not trusting him. They are still together and wait to see what future holds for them.

Michelle’s world crushed when she saw her stepdad collapse on the sofa and started crying. She couldn’t understand what was going on until she noticed he held a note in his hand. As she navigated her wheelchair between the sofa and the armchair, Michelle managed to grab the piece of paper which disturbed her stepdad. He tried to take it away from her, but she still managed to read it.
It was her mom’s handwriting. “I can’t do it anymore. You know I never wanted children, but I tried my best to care for Michelle anyway. That burden has taken the best years of my life from me. But now that she’s sixteen, I’ve decided it’s time I pursue my dream of becoming an actress before it’s too late…” Reading these words, Michelle felt excruciating pain. It was as though someone stabbed her in the heart.
With tears rolling down her face, she turned to her stepdad Eugene and asked him, “And what about you? Am I a burden to you too? It’s not like I’m your real daughter so nobody would blame you if you dumped me somewhere like a dog.”
“Never!” Eugene rushed over, dropped to one knee, and wrapped his arms around his step-daughter.

She hugged him back and started thinking of her life. She didn’t wish to be disabled and depend on anyone, but that’s what life served her with.
“Look at me, Shelly, and listen close, okay? This is…well, it’s an awful and shocking situation, but you’ve done nothing wrong. It will be tough, but we’ll carry on without her, okay?” Eugene assured her as she was trying to collect herself from the shock.
At that moment, instead of feeling sorry for herself, Michelle promised herself that she would do all it takes to become a successful individual. She was determined to prove her mother wrong, because she wasn’t a burden, she was just a person who was born with disability.

Michelle graduated top of her class and was accepted at several universities, many of which offered her scholarship. She, however, was determined to purse a career in the world of film, and dreamed of becoming a successful film producer. But deep down, she dreamed of meeting her mother again and even imagined situations in which she would audition for one of the films she would one day produce.
Her stepdad was aware that Michelle wanted this career because of her mother, although she never confessed that.
Sadly, her college days turned into a nightmare when she got into an argument with a classmate named Lila.
Lila was a popular girl who wanted things done her way, and Michelle confronted her several times. One time, the two argued whether physical film was being superior to digital shooting.
“I think there are benefits and drawbacks to both. Although there’s a certain look and feel you can only get from physical film, digital allows you a greater range of editing options that might be more suitable for the project you’re filming,” Michelle shared her opinion.
“Only if you’re lazy,” Lila snapped. She didn’t expect the new girl in a wheelchair to challenge her opinion like that. How dare she? “Digital can never beat the authenticity of a movie shot on actual film. It’s just not realistic,” Lila said angrily.

As the discussion became heated, Lila got angrier and once the class was over, she confronted Michelle and started bullying her together with her friends.
At one point, they pushed Michelle into the closet room and turned the lights off. It wasn’t until two hours later that the janitor found Michelle, alone and scared.
The following day, Michelle turned to Mr. Abubakar, a lawyer, and told him she wanted to sue Lila. Mr. Abubakar took the time to listen to Michelle and told her she had a case, but Lila was coming from a wealthy family, so she shouldn’t expect much from the lawsuit. Michelle wanted to proceed with it anyways.

In the days to come, she stared reading law books, researching legal procedures and precedents for assault cases like hers. When she returned to Mr. Abubakar’s office, she brought a folder of notes and a legal book she’d loaned from the college library. He was stunned by the work she did. Everything was perfectly prepared, as though Michelle was a real lawyer.
“This is useful.” He smiled at Michelle. “I’d already noted some of these cases, but there are others here that I can reference too.”
“Great.” Michelle grinned. “I was a bit concerned it might be too basic.”
“No, you’ve done a good job here, just like a trained paralegal. Have you been taking classes in law?”
Michelle shook her head. “I just have a knack for research.”
Looking at the work she had done, he told her that she could be a successful lawyer had she studied law.
Michelle frowned. “What do you mean?”
“You have a knack for law. I noticed it while we were putting your case together.” Mr. Abubakar moved closer. “I’ve heard bad stories about the kids that go to the arts section of your college. You don’t belong among cruel people like that, Michelle. You could become a great lawyer and fight against the injustices in this system with me.”

Michelle was intrigued but not that interested. However, once she won the case over Lila, she experienced even more bullying by Lila’s friends who held a grudge against Michelle because Lila got expelled.
It was then that she decided to quit studying film, and started studying law instead. Before she made this huge decision, she consulted with Mr. Abubakar to agreed to mentor her.
Seven years later, Michelle found herself moving from a huge law firm to opening an office herself. She was very successful, and even had money to undergo a surgery which was very successful.
One day, she placed her wheelchair at the corner of her office, and walked to the table. She was getting used to walking after spending her entire time in a wheelchair. She changed her style, dyed her hair blonde, and got read of her glasses. Michelle looked like a completely different person, so different that her own mother didn’t recognize her years after she had abandoned her.
As she was going through some paperwork, someone knocked on the door of Michelle’s law office. It was a familiar face, her mother Iris.

But this woman didn’t look like a successful actress, which made Michelle believe that she didn’t make it in the film industry.
Just as Michelle believed her mother would recognize her and maybe apologize for abandoning her, Iris said, “Is it true that you help people for free if they can’t afford to pay you? I don’t have a job and I don’t have any money.” Hearing this, Michelle realized her mother didn’t recognize her so she decided not to reveal who she really was.
“I guess I was mistaken.” Iris rose to leave, but Michelle gestured to her to wait.
“No, you’re right. I just…” Michelle hesitated on the verge of confronting the woman but didn’t know how. It was easier to focus on the job.
“I do work pro bono,” Michelle continued. “Please tell me why you need legal help.”
It turned out that Iris drove drunk and crashed into the car of a wealthy businessman who now wanted to throw the book at her.
“Honestly, I don’t think I can get you off entirely, but we can push for a reduced sentence, possibly even community service. I’ll need more details but first, can I offer you something to drink?” As she returned with refreshments for them, Michelle stumbled. Iris caught her elbow and asked if she was okey, to what Michelle pointed to the wheelchair and said she was still getting used to walking. But even that wasn’t a hint enough for Iris to recognize the child she had given birth to.

When the court date arrived, Michelle fought hard and managed to lower Iris’ sentence to a year of prison time or paying a fine.
“I still have no money to pay the fine,” Iris sobbed. “I’ll have to go to jail after all.”
At that moment, Michelle turned to the judge and said, “If the court will permit it, I’d like to pay the fine on my client’s behalf so she can go home immediately.”
“Why would you do this for me?” Iris wrapped her hand around Michelle’s wrist.
“You really don’t recognize me at all?” Michelle tipped her head. “This may refresh your memory.”
She then took out her mom’s note in which she called her a burden. The paper was creased from being read and crumpled up several times over the years, but Iris’ words were still perfectly readable.

“This can’t be real.” Iris stared at her openmouthed.
“You can keep that, I don’t need it anymore.” Michelle started to pack up her things. “I’m sorry you didn’t get to be an actress after all, but I hope you enjoyed living for yourself.”
“Wait, Michelle. We need to talk.”
“No.” Michelle shook her head. “You didn’t even recognize me, your own daughter. And I know I don’t look exactly the same as the kid you walked out on, but come on!”
“Please, just let me explain.”
Michelle then left the courtroom and never looked back.

Breastfeeding in public is a topic that still causes stir. While some believe women should breastfeed their babies whenever they are hungry, others are convinced that doing that in public is embarrassing. The latter probably don’t understand that breastfeeding is a natural and essential practice for both the mother and child.
The truth is that many mothers feel uneasy about nursing in public because of all the stares and comments, but not this mother.
Trinati is a mom of a 17-month-old daughter whom she breastfeeds whenever the little one feels like eating. However, this have put her in situations which she didn’t like, such as employees at stores asking from her to hide inside broom closets in order to feed her baby.

Holding onto the belief that breastfeeding is a natural and beautiful process no mom should ever be ashamed of, Trinati decided to do something about raising awareness.
One time, while breastfeeding her daughter at Costco, she asked from her son to take a picture that she later posted on the social media. “I never shy away from providing my children with what they may need from me based on our surroundings.”
The thing is that apart from facing stares and judgement from strangers, she also gets a lot of questions from her friends and family. When they ask, “How long are you going to do ‘that’ for?” her answer is always, “As long as she needs me to!” And then, the jokes follow, with some laughing that she would probably be breastfeeding her daughter until she’s in kindergarten.
This mom is fed up of people sexualizing her breastfeeding and judging her for it. She said in an interview, “Really? Have you SEEN breastfeeding breasts? My nipples are very far from looking like something someone may fantasize about! Ha!”
She went on, “These are basically udders right now. Get over yourself! I’m not trying to steal your man or lady with these bad girls! To me, they have become so far from feeling like a sexual part of my body. Right now they belong to my child for nourishment, both physically and emotionally.”
She wants people to understand that breastfeeding is a natural way to nourish a child and should not be viewed as sexual.
“I don’t expect all men or those who have never breastfed to understand the ways in which mothers have the endurance to deal with nipple-pinching or straight-up acrobatics while breastfeeding,” she explained. “I have received the strangest glances and awkward giggles when people watch my 1.5-year-old standing on my lap while suckling … sometimes on one leg!”

“I had my son take that photo of us in Costco because I never want to forget (and [I want to] show my daughter in the future) the lengths we, as mothers, will go to when ensuring our kids are well looked after no matter the situation,” she said.
“My baby’s needs come waaaaaay before anyone else’s attempts to make me feel inappropriate for this sometimes-public act of nourishing and/or comforting my children,” she wrote in the caption for the Instagram post.

Trinati wants her children to know they they would always be her priority regardless of people’s judgement.
“Trust is a fundamental tool for developing healthy relationships and it begins with the care that we receive in childhood,” she said. “For me, breastfeeding demonstrates this to my children, and for this reason, I will never feel shame for allowing a baby of mine to do this with me in any environment.”

Emma Pallant-Browne is a celebrated athlete who used a photo of her, which some dubbed “unfortunate,” in order to spread a message about the female body and how extraordinary women are.
Among the rest, Emma won a silver medal in the World Long Distance Triathlon Championships in 2022, two medals (silver in 2017 and bronze in 2022) in the championship known as Ironman 70.3, and a gold medal at the European Championship.
Other than that, she has recently participated in the PTO Tour European Open in Ibiza, which took place a few days after she won the Dualthlon World Championship, and ended up on the fourth place.

While taking part in the latest competition in Ibiza, a photo of her taken by a professional photographer were uploaded on the official site of the event. The photo seemed a regular one until another contestant, Xavier Coppock, highlighted something he noticed which later became a huge topic of conversation.
Namely, Emma was competing in a blue and pink swimsuit, but there was also a red stain visible which she got because she had period during the race.
“Not the most flattering photo of Emma, surely they can crop it a little better,” Coppock wrote under the photo, trying to stand up for Emma. However, although she was flattered by his intention to protect her, Emma didn’t mind the photo because as she stated, women having their period while competing wasn’t anything unusual. Replying to Coppock’s comment, Emma explained that she had her period and although she used tampon, there were days when even the most absorbent one would not do the job for more than 3 hours.
A couple of days later, she posted the same photo on her Instagram account with the caption, “Celebrating the amazing women in sport and the equally amazing men who champion them. Humbled by the number of messages I’ve had from both men and women about the unglamorous reality of racing on your period.”
Further, Emma wrote, “I raced in a swimsuit because I over heat and pass out in hot races, on my period my body temp is also higher. I have a full length suit for the cooler races in dark colours but the light colours we were experimenting with for the cooling effect. It is dark at the bottom and at the back but my bike position has changed and now I roll more forward (lesson learnt for next years suit design).
“A lot of the photos you can’t see anything, pouring water over yourself at aid stations does the trick and if it doesn’t you end up with one photo like this but the idea to edit it means there is something wrong with it. If you wrote to me saying 99% of the women you know would be mortified at this then that is exactly why I am sharing this, because there really is nothing wrong.”
She added, “Its natural and coming from eating issues as an endurance runner when I was growing up where I didn’t have my period, I now see it as beautiful. So if you have a photo like this, save it, cherish it, remember how you performed on a tough day because one day you might just be able to help someone else with it.”
Speaking of her choice of outfit, she explained that wearing a swimsuit suits her best because she sweats a lot and it provides her with the most amount of safety and comfort when she competes.
“This is a women’s sport and the more barriers we can break, the better. After a long career, you end up with a photo like this, but the idea of editing it means there is something wrong with it. I share it because there’s really nothing wrong with it, it’s a natural thing,” she wrote.
“So if you have a photo like this, save it, cherish it, and remember how you performed on a tough day because one day you might just be able to help someone else with it,” the celebrated athlete concluded in her powerful message she extended to other women.

Ahead of Pat Sajak’s final episode on Wheel of Fortune, Vanna White paid an emotional tribute to him.
During the Thursday’s episode of the much-loved game show, White honored Sajak’s contributions and their enduring friendship through a video segment showcasing clips and photos that traced their partnership from the 1980s up to the present day.
“I can’t believe that tomorrow is our last show together,” White, 67, said in the clip. “I don’t know how to put into words what these past 41 years have meant to me, but I’m going to try.
“Eight thousand episodes went by like that.”
The two life-long friends started hosting America’s Game together in 1982, when the show first aired in syndication, and over the years, they became one of television’s most iconic duos.

“As the years have gone by, we’ve grown up on television, but we’ve also shared so much more behind the scenes,” she said as she reminisced about the pair’s more personal memories.
“What an incredible and unforgettable journey we’ve had. And I’ve enjoyed every minute of it with you,” White added, holding back tears. “You’re like a brother to me, and I consider you a true lifelong friend, who I will always adore. I love you, Pat.”
Following the segment, the two shared a hug on stage.
The iconic duo have appeared in over 8,000 episodes together, with Sajak leading the contestants through the game and White famously turning the letters on the puzzle board.

Last summer, Sajak had announced that Season 41 of Wheel of Fortune would be his last, calling it a “wonderful ride.” White, however, will be staying on as co-host with Ryan Seacrest next season.

No matter how we feel about it, parents’ “tough love” can teach our children a lot about life.
Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was named Mr. Universe five times, and Mr. Olympia seven times. Over the curse of his career, which spans decades, he’s given the world of film some incredible roles, such as that of Terminator.
If you believe that he translates this tough persona into his private life, you are not wrong. It turns out that the actor turned politician hold onto some of the onscreen toughness with his children. Namely, Schwarzenegger is a father of five children. He has daughters Katherine, 34, and Christina, 31, as well as sons Patrick, 30, and Christopher, 26 with now ex-wife Maria Shriver. He also has a son, Joseph Baena, with the family’s former housekeeper, Mildred Patricia Baena.

Schwarzenegger took care of Joseph as much as he did for the rest of his children. He, however, doesn’t spoil them and makes sure they earn their own living instead of expecting him to provide them with everything in life.
Following college, Joseph, as well as the rest of the children, were to handle their own finances. The reason isn’t his dad’s lack of money, on the contrary, the “Terminator” has earned millions throughout the years.
Joseph doesn’t mind working and making his own money and is grateful his dad financed his education.

“My dad is old-school; he doesn’t believe in handouts. He believes hard work pays off, and so do I,” Joseph, who is a spitting image of his famous dad said in an interview with Men’s Health, adding, “I love the word honor, and I’m very prideful in the sense that if I use my dad’s contacts or ask him for favors, I wonder what honor is that gonna bring me?”
Initially, Joseph wanted to follow into his dad’s footsteps and pursue a career as an actor, but he found that to be tough, so he turned to a more regular job. He, however, did pursue bodybuilding as hobby.

Having a diploma in Business Administration helped Joseph land a career as a real-estate agent. “So yeah, I needed a job, and I was not getting any of the acting roles that I thought I was going to get, and like starting to get paid,” he continued. “I was like, ‘I need to do something.’ So I started interning at this real estate company,” the 25-year-old shared with Essentially Sports.
Last year, he managed to sell his first house and was quick to share his excitement over reaching that milestone on the social media. He posted a picture of himself holding a ‘SOLD’ sign with the caption, “SOLD!!! Congratulations to my clients for trusting myself and @aria_properties to sell their beautiful Santa Monica Property!🍾🎉🎊.”
The young real estate agent shared online that he operates out of West Los Angeles and Silicon Beach. He invited anyone interested in selling their home to reach out to him through direct messaging.
“I don’t have to get into acting or bodybuilding. I’m very motivated and driven. I’m happy about my relationship with my dad. But I’m more happy that I am finding joy in what I’m doing and that I’m doing exactly what I’ve always dreamed about.”
“A lot of guys struggle with trying to make their dad proud or trying to get out of their dad’s shadow. But as long as you’re doing what you want to do, then that all comes. Of course, maybe those guys don’t have such nice dads,” he went on to say.

Choosing the right partner might be one of the most important decisions a person makes because that’s the person whom you’ll navigate the highs and lows, share laughter and tears, and build a future together with.
A woman named Stephanie, 32, shared a story that left many flabbergasted.
She started by explaining that she and her husband of five years, Mike, were just an ordinary couple. Nothing ever stood out of the ordinary when it came to their relationship and their marriage. However, there was one thing that bothered Stephanie, and she wasn’t certain if that was something she should worry bout or not, but her gut feeling was telling her something was odd.

Namely, Mike told her numerous times that she should never clean the fridge in his absence. This request sounded rather strange. Whenever she would ask him why he demanded that, he would mumble something about him not wanting her to throw good food.
She added that she never had a habit of throwing any food with a perfectly good expiry date away, which made Mike’s demand even more unusual.
It was very obvious that Mike was extremely protective of some stuff he kept in the fridge.

Stephanie recalled that Mike once brought a metal box home which he placed at the bottom of the fridge. What’s more, she would caught him checking on it every now and then. When she asked him what’s inside, he said there were some olives his friend James got from his granddad as a present and wanted Mike to keep for some time. Apparently, those were olives of a rare kind.
She had no issues with him keeping the box in the fridge but it was really annoying that he would ask her not to touch it and be careful with it all the time. He said he demanded that because it was rude to touch other people’s stuff.
However, those “rare olives” weren’t claimed by James for a couple of years, but she never asked Mike about them again.
One day, she decided to break the rules and clean the fridge while Mike was at work.
She started the procedure as usual, never assuming that a simple act of cleaning the fridge would lead to the end of her seemingly happy marriage.
In the letter she penned to a magazine, Stephanie explained that cleaning the appliance took her around two hours, including unplugging it, emptying all shelves and putting away all items. She then cleaned the inside and let it settle before she plugged it again. In the meantime, she was sorting the items, including groceries, fruits, vegetables, and some food containers with pre-cooked dishes, checking the expiration dates on the packages and throwing away those that were off.
At one moment, she also took her husband’s box in her hands and noticed that the olives were expired, so she didn’t think it would be a big deal if she threw them too.
But then, she discovered something unexpected about her husband.

As she was going towards the garbage bin, the box cracked open on the top and the lid had almost fallen off. The contents started spilling on the floor and that’s when Stephanie learned there weren’t any olives inside that can.
The liquid that was dropping was accompanied by a chemical smell. She took a look at what was stored in the liquid and noticed two umbilical cords. She knew exactly what they were because her sister had preserved her children’s and had shown them to her one time.
When her husband came home from work, she was quick to confront him, telling him that his “olives” expired and that she decided to threw them away. Her words made Mike’s face go pale. She then told him that she didn’t believe it was a big deal, because he couldn’t eat them anyway. The shock Mike experienced seemed to be growing bigger and bigger.
He started explaining that she shouldn’t have done that, because they were really rare and expensive, but Stephanie interrupted him, and asked him straightforward about the umbilical cord. At that moment, there was nothing Mike could do rather than telling her the truth.

It turned out Mike had another woman in his life, Rosa, and the two had twins together. In fact, he and Rosa dated way before he met Stephanie, but his parents didn’t approve of his relationship with her, forcing him to marry Stephanie instead.
Mike, who was still in love with Rosa, continued seeing her.
Stephanie was shaken to learn this about the man she dreamed of spending her eternity with. She never assumed that a “box of olives” would reveal his long kept secret that marked the begging of the end of her marriage to him.
She decided to file for a divorce, but she still has a hard time moving on and forgetting about the betrayal from the man she loved dearly.
