Prince Philip’s cause of death revealed a month after his passing

Her Majesty The Queen described the passing of her loving husband of 73 years as a “miracle,” referring to the fact that he died peacefully at home, which was his wish, and not at the hospital under strict COVID regulations, according to Prince Andrew.

It was also her who had shared the sad news of his passing. “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle. The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss,” the Buckingham Palace posted.

Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, passed away on April 9, 2021, two months before what would have been his milestone birthday.

A month before he died, Prince Philip spent some time at the hospital because of declining health.

Now, some four weeks later, the cause of his death has been revealed by Sir Huw Thomas who has been caring for the Duke of Edinburgh and Queen Elizabeth since 2014. It is confirmed that Prince Philip died of old age, as reported by The Telegraph.

Prince Philip was a loving husband, father of four, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather. He was described by the Queen as her “strength and stay.” Prince William said of his grandfather: “My grandfather’s century of life was defined by service – to his country and Commonwealth, to his wife and Queen, and to our family.

“I feel lucky to have not just had his example to guide me, but his enduring presence well into my own adult life – both through good times and the hardest days.

“I will always be grateful that my wife had so many years to get to know my grandfather and for the kindness he showed her.

“I will never take for granted the special memories my children will always have of their great-grandpa coming to collect them in his carriage and seeing for themselves his infectious sense of adventure as well as his mischievous sense of humor!”

Harry also paid tribute to the man who was extremely supportive of him and his brother throughout the years, especially at the time when they lost their mother.

“He was authentically himself, with a seriously sharp wit, and could hold the attention of any room due to his charm – and also because you never knew what he might say next.

“He will be remembered as the longest reigning consort to the monarch, a decorated serviceman, a prince and a duke,” Harry said.

“But to me, like many of you who have lost a loved one or grandparent over the pain of this past year, he was my grandpa: master of the barbecue, legend of banter, and cheeky right ’til the end.”

Rest in peace, Prince Philip.

Girl with deformity banned from Pre-K by owners because she “will scare other kids”

The sad reality is that people who are in any way considered ‘different’ are very likely to experience discrimination in their life. It looks like the societies have a long way to go until they learn to accept every person the way they are.

Sofya Zakharova is a girl from Russia who was born with a deformity of the skull and fused fingers and toes. Despite that, she is a very bright and happy child whose parents love her to the moon and back and would do all in their power for her to thrive. Sadly, the place where they live isn’t really open to embracing differences so little Sofya was banned from attending pre-k because of her looks.

The problem is that they live in a rural area in an apartment with no heating and no water and a single pre-k institution.

The reason why the manager of the pre-k refused to let Sofya attend the facility is that “she would scare other kids.” Her parents were devastated to hear this. They knew their girl might be stared at once she grows older, but never expected for her to be discriminated from such a young age.

Russia does have some anti-discrimination laws, but they are yet to be shaped.

After the story of Sofya spread around, a charity organization from the area, Rainbow Goodness decided to step in and try convincing the pre-k to enroll Sofya, but the small-minded manager said he would only let that happen if she undergoes a corrective surgery. The parents are poor and can barely provide food, let alone a surgery of that type. Childhood psychology experts got involved as well and explained how Sofya should be around other kids and interact with them, but the day care is still refusing to change their ridiculous decision.

But although the charity failed at helping with the pre-k issue, they still managed to move the Zakharovas to a different apartment with gas and running water.

The local government decided to step in and provide Sofya with a surgery, so she will soon be flying to Moscow. But no matter how much the parents appreciate the help they are getting, what they truly want is for the anti-discrimination laws to be applied with full force so that no other child will ever have to go through the same ordeal as their child.

Mom claims employees at daycare center broke her 3-month-old daughter’s arm

Daycare centers should be the safest places for young children to be. Sadly, that isn’t always the case. We hear too often of little kids being treated in an abusive and neglectful manner by those who are supposed to take great care of them.

A mother named Alecia Jenkins from Spring, Texas, says that the employees at the Children Lighthouse Daycare in Spring Harmony broke her 3-month-old daughter’s arm.

After her maternity leave was over, Jenkins returned to her job as a second-grade teacher and left her baby girl at the daycare center for the first time on April 12. Between teaching classes, Jenkins monitored her baby through the cameras and that’s when she saw one of the employees at the daycare center lifting the little one in panic. She could be seen running to the phone and calling her coworkers who gathered around Jenkins’ baby.

It was more than obvious something was wrong. When the worried mother arrived to pick her baby girl, she could see the little one’s arm was limb. The staff assured her it wasn’t serious. “They said she’ll be ok. She may have slept on her arm wrong. It may just have to be popped back into place, it’ll be alright,” the mom told FOX26Houston.

Jenkins drove her daughter to the ER for an x-ray which showed the baby’s arm was broken. “The humerus bone, there was a fracture in that bone. They said it’s typically related to child abuse situations,” she said.

FOX26Houston reported that Jenkins is now suing the daycare for over one million dollars and states that an investigation was launched a day after the incident took place.

Speaking to the outlet, the mother said: “She’s healing. It’s been rough but as the days go on, I think she’s getting stronger. For this to happen on the first day of daycare, has ruined me and my perspective on daycares and just being able to trust people with my baby.”

The baby will have to take medications and wear a cast for six weeks until her arm heals.

The stories behind the three rings Kate Middleton wears on her wedding finger

Not only she will be a much loved and appreciated queen one day, but she is also a fashion icon who takes our breath away whenever she appears in public. Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge, has adopted a distinctive style. She’s both elegant and casual, depending on the occasion.

This year, Kate and William celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary and shared beautiful photos of themselves which show that the two are very much in love with one another as day one. They also treated the public with a family video which features them doing fun stuff, such as toasting marshmallows over an open fire.

The couple started dating while they were both attending St Andrews University in Scotland. At one point, they split and Kate got the nickname “Waity Katy” by the media, but that didn’t last long as William called her shortly after and asked her to get back to him.

William proposed to Kate in in 2010, while on a trip to Kenya, with his late mother’s engagement ring. The beautiful piece of jewelry is a 12-carat sapphire sparkler with 14 solitaire diamonds surrounding it. In fact, it was Harry who believed Kate should have that ring which holds a very special place in both brothers’ hearts.

According to late Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrel, Prince Charles let William and Harry choose a piece each from their mother’s personal jewelry collection. William picked a golden Cartier watch, and Harry got to have the engagement ring, which was designed by Garrard & Co back in 1981.

Later, when William told his brother he wanted to propose to Kate, Harry offered him the ring because “then one day that ring will be sat on the throne of England,” according to Burrel.

This ring, however, isn’t the only one that Kate wears. Her wedding ring, made from a special nugget of gold from the Clogau St David’s mine at Bontddu in North Wales, is also on her finger, as well as an Eclipse Diamond Eternity ring by Annoushka which is believed to be given to her after the birth of Prince George in 2013.

Of course, being Prince William’s wife, Kate is allowed to use jewelry from the Queen’s collection, including the tiaras.

Recently, she has been spotted wearing a diamond daisy-shaped necklace from Asprey, probably an anniversary gift from William.

Kate often wears outfits she has had for many years and that speaks that although she will be a queen one day, she is a very grounded person that we all love very much.

Some towns in US fight against bullying by introducing a fine for parents whose kids bully others

Every educational institution should be a safe place where our kids learn new things and are taught how to become good people who will be a valuable part of the society.

What these institutions should never be are places where children feel vulnerable. Sadly, bullying is present among children of any age and with the increase of technology and social networking sites, it only increases to the extent that schools are no longer capable to cope with.

The fact is that if someone young is a victim of bullying, their self-esteem decreases and it may lead to severe physical and emotional problems later in life. That is why it has to be prevented on time.

Shawano, Wisconsin Rapids, and Plovin which are all towns in the state of Wisconsin have found a way to stop bullying among school student. The measures they have undertaken may look way too severe to some, but they are determined to create a normal and friendly environment for each student that attends their schools.

Namely, the parents of the kids that will be caught bullying others will face fines as low as $313.

These towns came up with this rule as the result of the uncontrollable trend of bullying that affects many students.

They are convinced that this measure will make parents be more strict and spend more time teaching their kids right from wrong.

When a kid is seen treating others with disrespect, the police department will send his or her parents a warning, and if the bullying continues, they will have to pay the fine. The towns believe that when they are forced to pay that much money, the parents will make sure their kids don’t hurt others in any way again.

However, if paying the fine doesn’t give the expected results, it will increase to $366 for the second time the kid bullies others and will get to $681 every other time. This is a high amount of money that no parent will be willing to pay so they will likely make their children behave properly and treat others with ultimate respect.

The chief of the Shawano Police Department speaks of this rule saying, “This isn’t generated towards the kids being kids, some playground banter. This is the person that is meticulously using social media or saying things that are vulgar in an attempt to hurt, discredit, and really demean a person.”

This measure proved to be very effective as it was reported that the cases of bullying in the town on Plovin decreased significantly even before any fines were issued.

We believe that bullying is very serious and has to be treated as such as it affects the life of many students in the most negative way. When we think of all those cases where victims of bullying took their own life unable to put up with how they were treated by their classmates and peers, we support this rule and we strongly believe it should be implemented in each and every town across the U.S.

Queen Elizabeth to “fade away gracefully” after Prince Philip’s passing as Prince Charles takes on bigger role in the Family

Days have passed after Prince Philip’s passing and the Queen is back to her royal duties. However, as she celebrated her 95th birthday, it looks like she’s ready to give her son Charles, the future king, more freedom of making decisions regarding the family.

With her husband of 73 years no longer by her side, Queen Elizabeth is doing her best to cope with her pain. Members of her family are by her side and she’s also spending time with her corgis who help her overcome her grief. “She does not like seeing her dogs suffer and she knows that sometimes putting a dog down is the kindest course of action – although that doesn’t make her loss any less,” a source told the Daily Mail.

On her birthday, which she celebrated with scaled-down event, she expressed her gratitude to the well-wishers as well as those who reached to her after her husband’s passing to offer their condolences.

I have, on the occasion of my 95th birthday today, received many messages of good wishes, which I very much appreciate.

While as a family we are in a period of great sadness, it has been a comfort to us all to see and to hear the tributes paid to my husband, from those within the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth, and around the world.

My family and I would like to thank you for all the support and kindness shown to us in recent days. We have been deeply touched, and continue to be reminded that Philip had such an extraordinary impact on countless people throughout his life.

She also took the time to personally thank everyone who paid tribute to Prince Philip. She sent cards with the photo of the Duke and a heartwarming message which said:

“In memory of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. I send you my sincere thanks for your kind words of sympathy on the death of my husband.”

Throughout the years, The Queen served her people and the country impeccably. And now, royal experts believe that she will “fade away,” and give more space to Charles and William in terms of decisions about leading the country.

A source told People in April: “Her family will step up and be by her side, but she will carry on. She understands that she has a job to do, and [Philip] would have wanted her to crack on. [The Queen] did do so when he retired from public life.

“She will never abdicate because of duty and honor and public service is so deep in her, as it was for him.”

Royal expert Angela Levin believes that Prince Charles will start appear more in public as he’s trying to get his way. “In fact, she will be grateful for him to be taking over in making I imagine quite big decisions on behalf of the royal family,” Levin told Express.

According to former BBC royal correspondent Peter Hunt, Queen Elizabeth will retract from the spotlight and will likely attend meetings at Buckingham Palace just two days a week only, and leave the receptions, the garden parties, and other events to Prince Charles to host.

“Fundamentally, the queen will fade away gracefully,” Hunt told New York Times.

“Covid has helped in the sense that it has accelerated what any sensible 95-year-old woman would want to do, which is not stand on your feet all day long.”

Once on the throne, experts believe that Prince Charles will make fundamental changes regarding the roles the members of the royal family have at the time. “Prince Charles has wanted for a very long time to cut the monarchy down to save costs and to make people be worth the money that they got from the taxpayer,” a royal expert revealed on TalkRADIO.

Many share this opinion and believe it will be Harry and Meghan that Charles will “ditch” first after he becomes a king.

Utah woman who had no idea she was pregnant gives birth on flight to Hawaii

If you have ever seen the TLC show I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant, I am sure you couldn’t help but wonder if those stories were real or made-up. The truth is that this can happen even more often than one can ever imagine.

A few days ago, a mother, who had no idea she was carrying a child, gave birth shortly after she boarded on a plane. The story took the Internet by storm, to say the least, and many are left in awe of how this is even possible.

The happy and very surprised mother, Lavinia Mounga from Utah, was traveling to Hawaii on Wednesday when she started experiencing contractions.

The once-in-a-lifetime “incident” went viral after one of the passengers, a woman named Julia Hansen, took to TikTok to announce the pretty much unexpected birth with a clip and the caption: “A baby was just born on this plane.” She later added: “To those wondering how she was able to fly in her third trimester, I sat next to her dad on the plane and he said they didn’t even know she was pregnant.”

Lani Bamfield, a nurse from Kansas City, who helped deliver the baby shared her impressions. “If anyone would like to know how our trip to Hawaii is going… here’s how it started,” she wrote on Facebook.

‘We delivered a 26-27 weeker in the airplane bathroom, in the middle of the ocean, with three NICU nurses, a Physicians assistant, and a family medicine doctor we were able to make it THREE HOURS before we could finally land but the baby and mom did great.

“God was definitely with us up there.”

The mother and her baby, whom she named Raymond Kaimana Wade Kobe Lavaki Mounga, are doing perfectly fine. The mom has been discharged and her newborn son is still in the NICU because he was born prematurely.

The mom wrote that she was “overwhelmed in the best way,” and the baby’s father, Ethan Magalei, didn’t feel any less exited. He called his bundle of joy a “miracle.”

Delta Airlines also spoke of the miraculous birth and a spokesperson for the company said: “The safety of our crew and customers is our top priority. Our crews are well trained to manage a number of on board medical scenarios. Every aircraft is equipped with medical equipment and crews have access to expert counsel during flight when an issue occurs.”

We congratulate the family on their new addition and wish them all the best in the years that follow.

Dad surrounded by a group of soldiers at Chik-Fil-A jumps into action with desperate plea

Do you ever wonder how good parenting works? Well, I guess the most logical answer would be by setting examples and encouraging our little ones to follow them. This is exactly what one generous man did when he found himself surrounded by a group of military members.

Brothers Jonathan and Stephen Full were enjoying their meal together with their children when a group of soldiers entered the Chik-Fil-A restaurant. Jonathan knew this encounter would be the perfect opportunity for him to fulfill one of his dreams and at the same time teach his son a valuable lesson.

Having deep respect for everything these brave men and women do for the safety of our country, Jonathan was always looking forward to the chance of buying a soldier a meal. Now he got to do it not once, but multiple times. He told WTVD:

“It’s always been on my mind to pay for some military members’ meals when I get the chance. It just hit me real good in my heart to do it then. And it just happened.”

He decided to pay for the lunch of every member of the military that entered the place that day.

“Man is there a bus dropped off somewhere? Did we just hit the motherload here? What felt moving through my heart is I didn’t care if 200 more showed. I was still going to buy the meal.”

At the end, near a dozen meals were on Jonathan and he felt blessed he was given this opportunity to show these people how much he respected their sacrifice.

Stephen took some photos of this inspiring act and shared them online, writing how proud he was of his younger brother.

“As he paid for their meals, in remembrance of our late brother Joshua who suffered mentally from severe PTSD, he asked them to reach out to anyone they knew with PTSD and try their best to get them the help they needed. We thanked them for their service and left. Taught our boys to take care of the people that take care of us.”

Sadly, PTSD is likely to affect many members of the military, and Stephen wanted to raise awareness regarding the severity and the consequences of this condition.

People say how Jonathan’s act made him their hero. They all agree how every American should treat the military men and women with such respect. As for Jonathan’s son, he was a bit worried that all the food would be gone.

“What are ya crazy!? There’s not going to be any food left!”

He continued eating his chicken nuggets unaware that his daddy was now a local hero who inspired many to be more generous.
